"It just didn't happen for Kyle Kaiser. You know, people forget and years ago, I had this argument with bruins fans on HF boards. You know, when the bruins had drafted swayman and they had signed Kaiser as a free agent and I said, Kyle Kaiser is going to be your starter for Team USA at the world juniors and they're like, nope, it's going to be Jeremy sway. And I go, you wait and see. Don't underestimate this kid. Kyle Kaiser will be your starter. I guarantee you and I guarantee then I said, Kyle Kaiser will be a better NHL goaltender. Then Jeremy swimmer and I really honestly believe that. Game one happened and he got a concussion. And never played again in the tournament. And really it's been he's had, I think, now three major concussions, other injuries that have, I don't want to say ruined his development, but as not put him where he should be. So, you know, boosie, we know what boost he's doing for Providence in the American Hockey League. But there's also back in the NCAA who think last thing and the night before recorded his first shadow as only lost like one game in his last 12, you know, I'm really, really impressed about where this goaltending depth and prospect pool is for is for the bruins. 20 years old, 6 foot four, playing at Providence. Playing really well. And let's not forget the bruins also developed Dan vladar, too. So there's another name you can throw in there for guys that they really handled well over the course of time, Mark. And I forgot Reed dick playing for the swift curve Broncos in me and the western Hockey League. We actually had him on a shoulder, we not Mark. Yes, we did over the off season. He came on the program and a really nice guy, a nice kid. Very well spoken. And you know, I keep tabs on the goal tenders and all basically all bruins prospects, you know, on the elite prospects dot com. And you know, he's not having a great year out in swift current, but then again, that program out in the job is not the strongest as it has been in the past. I remember when Jake the brusque was out there and so on. That was a pretty dominant team. But the Boston Bruins believe in his upside over his stats. He's a bigger goaltender. And HL teams are always looking for the over 6 two.

"Premium price 7 million plus for a goalie. I mean, granted all marks not that. He's 5, but you could have gotten away with paying what you're paying swimming and had all this money to play with elsewhere. They went with goalie, not, again, not exactly where people thought that money would necessarily go. Forget whether it's three out of four or whatever. If it was close enough where you're really scratching your head think, who should be the guy? I can't understand that move at all. I don't understand it, then, you know, and it's not just a hindsight play. I didn't believe all Mark was going to be so head and shoulders above. Swimming that had justified it justified to spend at the time. Yeah, no, absolutely. I mean, I think you look at the risk of, let's say you went with swam and you went all in the youth movement and had swam and Dan vladar. Like that is very, very risky for a team hoping to make another deep cup run to hope that swim and pans out and vada will back up. But as you say, you didn't have to sign a guy like oh mark if, you know, pick the plenty of 33 plus year old veterans who would be willing to sign on a one or two year deal. That very well could have been an option. So from the bruins, it's one not expecting any Swami to take this step forward. I mean, I feel like when we talk about swimming, I'm still gonna have that cautious outlook. We're gonna be talking in November. He's gonna be like 9 and one with like a one goals again. So I'm still gonna be like, well, you still gotta wait. Maybe I'm just being way too cautious, maybe that's how the bruins are thinking, but again, you look at how the money is allocated and the fact that probably gonna have to use some of that cap room later in the year to address whether it's strength down the middle and other defensemen. You have a guy like old Mark and let's say he's, again, the number two guy getting 35% of the reps in.
