Oman of getting out of that productivity mode and speaking of that the other thing that i was going to pull out to off for how many years now you and mom get a massage every week. He's still doing that. We do yes we do. Yeah and we go on typically on cruises at least once a year so there are some things that are pretty consistent like that. I was just exploring this morning because we're eager to go again as cruiser opening now but yeah we do get massages on friday afternoon We have date night. We do a lot of a lot of going out for entertainment to jerry. Lewis jerry jerry. Lewis concert you know. Obviously a makeover of that this next week plays and concerts here locally. Now that we're in florida there are some things like that. It's not all our concern my not drudgery but Still those things that are small part of my normal day. Yeah well hey thanks us fun. Even for me. I learned new things but yeah hope people appreciate seeing the evolution. I think i'll keep doing that. Because i think as we all progress learn grow that our habits change in my gosh man. There's habits is obviously a popular term. These days one that we all want to embrace more. So thank you. Thanks for that behind. The scenes walked at. Why absolutely the conversation and i do. I'm very intentional life. Pretty much everything that we've talked about even more realize i don't have good system in place. I'm pretty intentional. That is a fun journey and look back. This has been fun to look back and think about there are some things. I'm very much like what on sixteen years old. I really haven't changed my habits. They serve me in a different way at this point but a lot of consistency there but this is a reminder to look at. What is it that i need to change in terms of my habits. So thank you for that. "Real experience than just showed up at church for fifty eight minutes on a sunday morning and coming home and yard. Here's a question. I'm just curious on that. I'm curious with with anybody. Who at least professes a spiritual faith is. Are there any specific voices authors that you gravitate towards for me. I mean i know. It's frederick ner dallas willard or kind of top of the list. I'm i. I've been on the fringes but never really dug in and i'm digging now. Richard rohr Some but those. Which i'm i'm i'm interested in there but just curious if there are certain ones you find yourself resonating with more really the end. The short answer is now but in doing that doesn't mean that i can't find anybody that i like a lot of people my reading in spiritual arenas very very broad and includes some names that i usually don't mention in public formats. Yeah i know some of them all all out you just because people in that area tend to be pretty narrow and their perspective. And i'm not saying that's bad. But i liked to read really broadly so i read about a variety of religions and religious thought waiters from across a broad spectrum. And i enjoy that. A lot now requires that is discernment. They're really filter through that. And come up with what your cord waste are going to be. But they're not really anybody can name a while you know he he. Or she my go-to person. Everything they say is true. I i really don't do that. I don't wanna come across as arrogant in that and saying that nobody. Nobody pleases me. There are some people that i really do. Enjoy their content. Read everything they write but that includes a lot of people. it's not very narrow. It's a broad west. how about career. Six spoke is career. And of course you've been you know. I know and most people listening. We'll know you as a lifetime entrepreneur. You just mentioned that. But you know it is interesting with zig story that the zig ziglar that we know didn't start till forty five and the zig ziglar the persona. The voice that most people know was gosh. Probably not what told mid sixties that we that the icon exhibit ziglar. It was later in life and before that he's selling pots pans for you. Everybody knows you as a forty eight days guy which started gosh what around the same time. Forty five.

"And recognizing the value of allowing people to connect with each other. So it's not just one directional meet it ever them to me. But it's they can talk to each other as well and experiment with ideas and ways that they're developing they're passionate and growing ideas l. moving into their dreams so that's been really really being and i enjoy it because it doesn't require that i'm on stage at all. I can really be one of the crowd in there. And i love the way that people kind of rise to levels of leadership q. Sharing and encouraging others and very generously sharing their their ideas will resource. But i like initiating that even if it doesn't require from me on an ongoing basis thirds here's mental and this is one where again i'm prone to say okay. So what's the evolution. But knowing you as long as i are i've had i wonder. Is this another one where it's been pretty static pretty you seem to always have invested well in the mental aspect of your life. It's been it'd been very consistent and some of the same principles as you remember. When i was a kid. Thirteen years old. I got a hold of bill little record in barrel nightingale called strangest secret where he talks about what we think about now know. My buddies weren't necessarily interested in positive divisional material. They're interested in your girlie. Say yeah the other kids pick playboy. And here's dan miller with his little forty five of this guy with the deep voice over and over again it became a really foundational principle for me then and continues to be so today but we what we think about doing that. I asked myself the question. The question was could. I really change the expected trajectory of my life as a farm kid who was expected to join his dad in the farming operation. That was my wife. There was no other option ever discussed ever with my dad other than working with him on the farm. The change that expected direction on my life my control on what i think about what goes into my mind powerful principle that and then books. I started reading books. If thinking grow rich magical thinking big. See you're the top ziegler book they occurring classic how to win president towards people. Those are the things. I was drawn to and opened the window of opportunity for me like nothing else has ever come close and that because it's so portfolio is a practice that continued today when i went to your ruin tough financial disaster. You know when you were about seventeen years old made some decisions in a business ended up deeply in debt and recovering from that which turned out to be a all process. But i wanted to make sure that. I kept eating my mind. Positive information believing much like zinc talks about nor minds of gardens. If you we'd sturdy there's gonna multiplying grill if to crowd those out and you can't just have nothing you have to force simone by filling your mind with positive information so during recovery period. I started as a head to dedicate at least two hours a day to listening or reading positive pure clean uplifting information and that was so powerful. When helping recover its practice up never discontinued. I enjoyed that. That's not something that's forced at all. I love love love reading. I go back and reread books. That are read years ago. But i do enjoy reading a lot. That comes easy. But that's been a real key to keep pulling me forward. Even at this season of life is the reading. That i do well. I'm grateful again for the example of that and passing that on as well. You are listening to the ziglar show and this episode with dan miller on the evolution of his successful habits next he addresses finances and how his greatest faith is in his ability to generate income. Not necessarily cut back on his life and expenses but he also shares. It's an area where his habits have notoriously been less than healthy over the span of his life.

"But i've always understood the power of relationships the power of reaching out one of the things that i use this kind of a model and certainly not original with me. But i'm used to over the years as i think you'd be putting ought to have a paul barnabus and timothy in their life call. Somebody who's older. We can speak wisdom into you do that pre late and speak the truth in love. Barbas somebody come along side so you know. What do you wanna cowboys arms and do this together and support each other then timothy. Somebody's younger that you can speak into the privilege of helping them. When they're maybe not quite as strong the panthers you are. Those are metaphorical kind of examples. Because it's not just one person. But i people in those categories and i think about people that i reached out to people who were influencers in my gosh in as you know i just got a couple of cases of those e book born to win and you can see their mobile to see that. Have there. I've got a gold stick around there from the office of dan miller on there. And give those out as gifts to people but in reaching out to zig you know how could i reach out to somebody that had that kind of impact. They kind of influenced by start onto his events. Took you all a teenager. As a little kid when your own and then ultimately develop relationships with other people like mark victor hansen again went to event with them just so i could be around somebody who has a high performer and joined a community that he had told illinois millionaires of done it over and over and over again to reach out. Even if i'm more comfortable at home and in many ways i would but i recognize the power of that point myself a head. It's like when you were racing. Bicycles really good as bmx. Racer you could race in your age. Category and win every sunday bring whole big trophy. That's not what you wanted to do. You wanted to always be thrown group for your over your head where there are people who are much better than you because it stretch you to be better. I mean that's a great trait the head and i've certainly used that and reaching out to people you know those relationships one of the things that i i do. A lot is to every every monday afternoon. Monday afternoons are dedicated to doing endorsements and forwards of books. So i have lots and lots of books out there. Were you know by dan. Miller of that's one. Cut babies book gary edwards new book permission prosper word on that. So that's another way where i intentionally create those relationships and nurture those..

"Standardized cookie cutter choices nets where people sometimes cut themselves short because they don't look inward enough to find that unique thing that really would give them a sense of not only enjoyment film it meaning but also money pleasure purpose all those things. It's there for everybody you know you mentioned the industrial revolution and dehumanize things but let's come back to today that it does feel like there are so many choices that it's very hard to make a case for not. Finding something that you find joy fulfillment a contribution in now. I say that into the person who's listening out there right now. Who's busting their button. Survival mode to provide for themselves or their family. It's awesome and so much honor to you. And there's been times in my life where i should have done that. I think for a time but that would be it for a time that if if you're doing that thing three months six months three years from now man or you short changing yourself and it does feel hard to make a case to not find a fitting thing because we do have such a ridiculous amount of choices at an email from gentleman this morning senator and as a podcast question a said i'm gonna job is killing my soul as were is said to have an opportunity to leave the twenty third of this month and they'll give me at twenty three thousand dollars severance package. I mean twenty twenty thousand dollar twin lose a twenty three twenty thousand dollars severance package. My advice take the money in rome. Gosh i mean that ought to give you enough of a window of opportunity to figure something out. Do not think you're being responsible by going to a job. That's killing your soul again. You talk about people doing work out there that you know they just doing it because they feel like they need to be responsible. Yes absolutely but if that is the reason for then that is a purpose. That's a legitimate purpose. You have five kids at home. You got a job. Pasia hundred twenty thousand dollars a year. It may be the best thing to stay there but to change your mindset about what you're doing in recognizing the purposes keep food on the table. You're providing opportunities for those kids and this season of your life. It makes perfect sense. Well this is always a discussion. An open ended discussion. Like this brings far more than what it craft. If i had a specific intent man thank you. It's just a always a joy talk through these but it's just eye opening more gives me more conviction as well for finding and being clear on the contribution i am bringing to the table in my work. Such gift awesome as you know. I love the opportunity. I kind of pushed into this whole topic as you now wasn't something that i designed that i had thought would ever lead into income generation. I was teaching sunday school class. But the needs are so great and we have so many people coming there who are saying. You know. i'm doing okay. People see me a successful. But i don't think this is it. It was that deeper sense of meaning and purpose of people are looking for even though they may have an md or dds or jd app. To their name know there's you know there's something more that really my heart is calling me to and so if these kinds of questions that i've had the privilege of dealing with an ultimately because of that then led to my own income generation. It kind of snuck up on in a way that i never anticipated in. Sit down and map this out as a business but as it developed and i just moved into more and more and more opportunities game and it's always always been even when i was doing it just as a volunteer extremely fulfilling for me to help people walk through this process. Find the work you love and the money'll follow a sounds like up. Dan miller right. There have got a. I've got pulled up here just reading an old book. The prophet but written by hildebrand. Back in nineteen twenty three. So it's old old kind of philosophical stuff. There's one piece in there that i've always loved just a couple of sentences and it says work is love made visible and if you cannot work with the love but only with taste it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take all of those who work for joy for a few bake bread with indifference. You bake a bitter bread that feeds but half man's hunger that's beautiful. I don't have the have it memorized. But i'm reading right now. Frederick beak ner my favorite philosopher and he has very similar statements about work effort that we make and that so many people would be better off any actually uses to be homeless and not not stress with it. Well hey dad thank you. Thanks for passing it down to me. I'm great all right. I enjoyed the.

"People can enjoy things that we would not enjoy. We look at things. We would not enjoy the cowards. I mean it's like me looking at a car. You know geez. Why would anybody buy that car well to them. It bits them. They may love the color. Even if i think it's ugly there's so many opportunities. I can't think of anything that somebody would not enjoy doing. And we see that born out in people having jobs. If it's the mailman. I talked to her male so this will talked our mailman just on it was on friday. I went because i had some packages. And i just run out and me takes packages. That are too big to go in the mailbox. Really cool anyway. He had his ear buds. In and i could hear what are you. Listen to when you're driving your mail truck podcast man all the time. Podcast said you really. I said what do you listen. Do our business. You know finance sports music. What do you do right now. Listen to dave ramsey. Are you kid iran. Becky and a house got a copy of my book gave it to him. And of course. Right on the top ford by dave ramsey. He's like no way. You're that dan miller and i told him i told him to listen to podcasts. I said man we live in this podcast in space. But here's a guy. He's really congenial. Really great he brings our mail every day. Wait what it brings up to me. I mean we're talking about purpose and as you were talking i was thinking about contribution. So do i feel a contribution in what i'm doing did a show recently. This is episode nine seven. Actually i think it might have been gosh. I don't know nine. Oh it's one of those right around here on. Do you find your work to be the product or service to be honorable to be worthy because we can have something. That's fun okay. I can be working You know we got a lot of kids around here. And they're working the ski slopes and they're having fun. Well it's all sir now. Did they find that. It's honorable and worthy to help. Rich people ski. Maybe not and so. I was really trying to hit too. That the product or service. So when you're going back to these restaurants like fords or whatever and that's that's difficult unless you find somebody to find somebody and try to help them find that they are making a significant contribution at a. they'll say an expensive restaurant. Have people come in and have a good time. I mean that's going to be difficult for a lot of places they hit. That's one that's beyond making it fun. Having a foods table and skateboards in the office that can they really draw. People like you said somebody who enjoys. Wipe the spittle off of the screen at the hockey place. That's a that's that's a hard. It's a hard road. A ho. i think it is and employers. Have their work. Cut out for them right now. We're going through. I talked about the number of people who had resigned their positions. Just in april. We had that major number while we have nine point. Three million jobs available in america right now. Nine point three million jobs open and companies are desperate for people to come in. We're going through. What the economists are calling the great resignation and studies have shown that up to forty six percent of people right now are say they were going to quit their jobs this year if they can figure out how to do it so we had six hundred and forty nine thousand that quit their jobs in april voluntarily here. We are in july and forty six percent of people who are working. Say they're going to try to quit the job they have before the end of the year that we're gonna we're seeing massive turmoil air. But here's here's another component of this. What we've gone through right now going through the pandemic what we've just experienced last eighteen months. Whatever has caused changes. I was gonna say damage. But i'm not gonna use that. This caused changes to the workplace. We're never going to go back to normal. The way things were and in many ways people have gone through a grief process in this in the same way that if you had a death or divorce or something unexpected a health issue or whatever people go through a grief process there are six stages to and this is really important item. What you're you're talking about here. The first stages denial like. Aw i can't believe this is happening you know. Surely this only a couple of weeks. We'll be back to normal. Denial the second stages anger. It's like are you serious. Can't leave the house where mask. I can't go back to work cryer anger. The third stage is bargaining. Okay you know so. Let me understand this. If i do this then i can kind of come back. I can work from home a little bit. Whatever bargaining the fourth stage is depression and people again with the with grief. We're talking about normal grief respond. They get that point depression. The next stage is acceptance. All right. if this is the way it's going to be than what. Can i do to kind of move forward. The six stage of grief is finding meaning. Alright this happened. i didn't expect it. I in welcome it. But i need to find meaning and it brings people brings us back to where people are right now who are looking for work. Six hundred forty nine thousand people. They're not looking to stay home. I mean i know we've spoiled him a stimulus checks and all that garbage but if they want to get engaged but they're looking for meaning and if we can't give them that autonomy purpose and mastery we can't give them meaning they're going say nah you know you you can't pay me enough to enticement come in so is hard as it is for a lot of businesses. We have to be able to offer that to people now. I'm fortunate in what i'm doing. Forty eight days. It's exciting to help. People see the lights come on to help. People put legs dream. They've had for a long time because of that. We have people standing in line. Who would love to be part of what we're doing. We have people who volunteer. Who all kinds of things in our organization with no pay but just because they feel like they're doing they're doing something important. They're part of a causes bigger than themselves. I think anybody can do that. Yeah i think anybody in the company with work that's being offered. I think they can do that. But it's a different mindset for the people offered the job you offered. The job are not used to many times trying to figure that out. If i'm gonna have this eighteen year old come in and stand on his feet for eight hours a day. How can i give him a sense. That there really is meaning to what he's doing. If you can figure that out you can rock and roll. I mean look at look at chick-fil-a chick-fil-a and you know you go to burger king one of the mcdonald's here there's a lady i know the lady here. She has three franchises three three three locations for mcdonald's she keeps one of them closed right now because she's shifting the workers to the other two simply to have enough workers to open the door. That's not a problem chick-fil-a you go in there. It's a totally different. Instead of you know that person to handle your burgers you say thank you and as a. Hey no problem dude. You're never going to hear that. Chick-fil-a is my pleasure. They know being. There is a cultural environmental educational opportunity. And they see it as such. They don't have any problem getting applicants lined up. That's the difference companies. You're going to have to do to compete in this kind of workplace. Okay so let me let me sidestep then a little bit. Is there also a place where we in understanding ourselves that we put too much infant. Could we put too much emphasis on work. If it's the end off. I take anybody but a kid and try to find help them find place where the where their work is the end all to everything in their life because we know so many people. I know a lot of folks who know stop there. You're laughing go i. I would never propose that for somebody that they tried to find work..

"Of faithful work. Then they should up one morning and we're told they were ahead. Thirty minutes to clean out. Their desk can leave company. Didn't need them anymore. So kids dare saying. I'm not gonna make myself vulnerable to that. I'm gonna figure this thing out. I'm going to do something that i enjoy. There's the repercussions of that. Where in the millennials gen xers and the n. even in the baby boomers this point. People in life is too short to just be pushing a pencil for all those years and then hope you have a few years enjoyable retirement. I think it's a healthy unrest that we have dramatic implications of that in april this year. Six hundred and forty nine thousand. People quit their jobs their own choice. Six hundred forty nine thousand people. That's amazing now. We know that's doing to companies. There are signs everywhere and companies are desperate. How can we get people to come to work well. So they're confronted with. How do you make work meaningful. How do you provide enough incentive for people to come to work when they know they people that people aren't going to put up with just getting a paycheck and that's all there has to be more than that. well can. We go too far that way as well though when you talk about the millennials. Well i've seen it with my kids with my son your grandson. Caleb is out there. And i've got autumn and elisa who are in their twenties now and i talked with elisa not long ago. She's twenty one and then she looks out there and i think she felt burdens a bad word but to some degree. Burn by this by understanding this and wanting to find what is my call in. What is my purpose. what am i supposed to do. And i found myself pulling her back off that to some degree of saint honey you. Don't you've experienced enough life to figure that out to to find that one thing remember city slickers right. Oh yeah the one thing. I honey you haven't right now go out and just do some stuff and figure out what you like what you need some experience under your belt and i have wondered though are people maybe millennials maybe older but are there some who are tying themselves up a little bit too much in that. Is this job. The holy grail of my existence going to save planet earth. Yeah well there's a couple ways to approach this. Sometimes when i have people who know they have something. That's a hobby. Let's say something that's a hobby. Let's say an artist and somebody really enjoys doing that. But their fear is that if they use that as their method of income generation then end up. Not enjoying it anymore as a hobby. So we can kind of go on that approach. There are times. I can see somebody doing something that they recognize really is kind of a hobby or something. That really is just kind of a heart's desire may be working with disabled children or something where they're never gonna make much money but they're really drawn to doing that and i think that's worthy work to do even if you're an artist used that example but just to do something because you really enjoy you enjoy it. You know it's a contribution in some way but you can do that even if you have lofty financial goals because it's really easy at this point to do things on the side that can increase your financial or the you know kent julian on time friend of ours. He's a speaker who speaks in university. College rena loves doing that. It provides a great income. But he's i wanna tell you. He's building his wealth because of the real estate invest in that he's doing not because of the job that he has the work that he has she's independent but the work that he has no. That's fine enjoys that but it's not going to be something that's gonna make him wealthy but his investments aside from that are my point being so somebody can do work that they enjoy and fully enjoy and they're better off doing that than to try to make themselves survive and tolerate the work. The daily work. Monday through friday that they really don't enjoy just because they're trying to be responsible and get a paycheck. That's where we get the conflict so it's not unrealistic to expect that in work. And if you're talking with elisa or with caleb to my bed a lotta delightful conversations here what we look for in work is more than just a paycheck. You are listening to ziglar show and this episode with dan miller on the importance of our work next. Dan addresses the labor shortage. We're in and how companies are offering big financial incentives. That aren't addressing. The reason people are leaving them in the first place. Here are some show sponsors and we'll get right back to it effective work. Collaboration is vitally important. For efficiency and workplace camaraderie. Many collaboration platforms only allow you to organize information of others. Only allow for project management.

So now that we're shifting over the summer We're gonna find our way out there here before too long as well. But what do you got coming out. What do you get a new releases that you wanna break here on brew talk. What do you got coming up. I i. i did a little bit earlier. The pineapple beachside pineapple pail It's going to be ready in a few weeks and we also just really a Locale hazy idea Which is which has received so far a very well And i think it's good. It's actually done. Well think we're going to start getting now when you're pretty soon so basically just a a mosaic cetera and asaka hop session. Pa i love it well. Hey here's tears to your success. "Fourteen months or so just kind of been playing with it and working with it. And i think i think i don't wanna say we perfected it but maybe we have And we just today and I'm looking forward to Releasing that bear here in a few weeks so to some of the supply chain issues getting fruits and hops and things like that haven't really impacted you as much as other industries have been. Yeah not not a ton i mean. We're you know we're small over five barrel three when we get these things were getting. Small amounts probably helps us now. We did have some trouble getting cans. That was a little bit of a of a struggle but everything else seemed to be. Okay yeah things during their. I remember when went down. We had trouble getting some stainless steel fittings stuff like that was difficult Never a few things here and there. But but no i i would say we weren't affected a bunch by that thankfully. Yeah we're talking with. Dan miller the owner of mighty river brewing company. And you know. Dan you mentioned something a couple of questions go. I think In response to chad's of Know what what what was the biggest thing you learned what. What was the thing that you thought. Maybe you improved upon as a brewery From last year. I mean i know you're doing a little bit of a delivery system for a while as the canning process. What was it that you think that. Okay we're better now than we were fourteen months ago. Well i would definitely say i mean you you can always become better brewer and you can always improve on your processes. You can I'd say that's the big one i mean. Just just trying to find two are fine tune our processes with brewing And canning and packaging and all those things everything you do. But i tend to just dialing in how we wanted to streamline our our brewing processes and..

"So we know what the demographic is but it would you say. It's the minority people who are nervous coming back in for me For at least for what i see. I think it's probably about thirty percent of the outcome in our little. Hasn't you know they. They come in wearing their masks. And they wear their masks all the way to their seats and That's your to me. That's a significant portion. That are still quite hesitant yet. Yeah i'm probably the same for us But i think there's surrounding communities that Larimer county being one of them had a little bit stricter mass mandate them well county Had throughout the whole thing right to so. I think people that are used to Coming from or going to places in fort collins loveland or in those areas are a little more usa. Just you just automatically put your mask on when you walk inside become second nature. Yeah we were in fort collins on sunday just hitting some shops and we went over to crooked stave and in a couple of other berries. Peop- you know. A lot of people are still inside. wear their masks and in a lot of the restaurants still require That you wear your mask to get to table and it's probably not a bad idea at this stage of the game to just be a little bit more cautious because you don't know i mean fifty percent of the people have been vaccinated but what about the other fifty percent right. I don't know if the staff or ever gonna wanna give him up because then people can see their faces. Unruly customer sticking their tongue out at some. So you know now. Larimer county is one hundred percent capacity. No social distancing unknown math mandate that came down as well. That was effective. Starting on monday That mask mandate doesn't fall into place because they're following along with the state guidelines and recommendations. So that's i mean that's a big change for as strict as larimer county was with it. That's a huge change. While you're gonna it's gonna take some time for all everywhere to kind of implementing and decide what's best for their their operation so like. I said sunday there are a lot of places we're still you know requesting social distancing there still not one hundred based on the size of the place You could tell they weren't at full capacity yet and there's still a lot of mask wearing going on a lot of at full capacity still is based upon how many employees you have to sure absolutely absolutely well and then what what. I'm wondering now is you know. We'll be the local businesses. That and i think it will. It'll be the local businesses started. Peel back these restrictions. I but you could own a lot of these chains. They're still going to keep the mask mandate in place. I mean that that's going to be around for the nationwide chain because the rules are so different from state to state you know. They just want to a constant message throughout the company..

"Dot com. We've got auto resources that help people in his path. We'll have that and all the ways that you can follow on social media on the show notes again at conscious millionaire. Show dot com. I never discussed this next question ahead of time. Because i to be surprised everybody else and delighted. What is your neck some but what might be a challenge or obstacle. You're gonna have to overcome to get to that next level. I mentioned our online community. I love what i see in there. We've got about twelve hundred members. I want ten thousand members. That's an astronomical growth curve but those are the kind of things that get me excited. It's those big goals that we have to get us excited. If i said i wanted to grow from twelve hundred fifteen hundred. You know. I'd go to sleep myself thinking about that. You know even though that would be an increase and a significant percentage where. It doesn't get me excited. I want ten thousand now. that's beyond. we're having nice. Organic linear growth. So something extraordinary has to happen part of my mantra for this year find the wormhole so in science. That arm hole is where space and time collapse. That's what i'm looking for. What is the wormhole would take me. Astronomically forward like that now. I have no idea what that is. I really don't so it's not like i've got some secret in my back pocket. That's going to get there. It would have to be something beyond my comprehension right now but again. That's what excites me. So it's getting that group to ten thousand members. Absolutely well i. I am a total science person. Because i think in science and spirituality i think they come together. I don't think they're in opposition at all. I think they're just different language patterns for the same phenomenon. You know that brings me to legacy. What's the legacy you wanna leave. That's very clear for me as well. The legacy that's most important for me is my children and grandchildren. I mean i love having a large audience for my books and programs. I'm really honored to do that. But it's with my kids. That i feel my biggest responsibility and stewardship or oversee and them in development for instilling principles and actions to impact the world for generations to come..

"Take a look. Because dan stuff i can tell you. I've known for a while. That's the top one percent. He only does stuff. that's incredible. that's because he's dan miller now. It's time for the conscious millionaire entrepreneur questions we start off with mindset. Which i think we've been talking about the whole show actually mindset. You've developed dan. That helps you discover your best business opportunities. I'm going to go back to a quotation from henry ford. Whether you think you can or thank you can't you're right. I don't know of a simple way to put it than that. Our expectation are are positive. Outlook has so much. Do the opportunities are there all along. We it's not a lack of opportunities. They're all around us. But do you have the is to see it so whether you think you can or you can't. You're right. I i love that and that is the best way to find business. Opportunity just think you can and go look for them. Because they're there they were all there folks it's not like they just appeared the differences. You now see them. That's the really big difference. So let's go to strategy that will empower entrepreneurs to put more money in their bank. The next seven days the next time you encounter an obstacle and look at the year that we've had there's so many things that have shown up unexpected and unwelcome the next time you see an obstacle see it as an opportunity for a creative solution rather than a stopping point when my kids were growing up and you know some of my kids javy. We never had problems. They were never allowed to come to. Mama did with the problem. They knew we were gonna frame it as an opportunity for a solution so the chain came off your bike. You don't have a problem. We have an opportunity for solution. And just that. Simple reframing of that has certainly open doors of opportunity for me. Why i think that's a strategy that works today. Let's talk about purpose. What is your purpose. And how have you used it to make money in your life. All right my purpose. And i'm so clear on this. You know there are all kinds of things that we do when we have our own business no matter how large or small things were. Were incompetent things where we're competent..

"Well it took some experimentation. I experimented with all kinds of ideas. When i was a little kid. I sold christmas cards door to washed the neighbor. I argue dollar twenty five. And i got to keep fifty cents there you go. Wow and i picked the excess sweetcorn out of our family garden after mom had all the canned and frozen corn that our family could handle for the next year. I pick that sweet. Corn was left instead of feeding into the cows and drive two miles up to the paved road and parking put up my little cardboard sign sweetcorn thirty cents a dozen and i got that thrill that exhilarating thrill of having people give me their money willingly for something that they valued and here. It was profit for me now. It's hard to scale that to a million dollars. Yeah so a lot of corn. So i was always looking for. What is it that i could do. That would move me beyond just that simple exchange of time and effort so what worked for me was helping craft a process that it would help people move from practical to joyful in their work and then find a method to share that process with millions of people and then allow people access to that method through books courses. Seminars masterminds personal coaching online communities. That was how. I leveraged a simple message and that turned in to the first million that i ever experienced. I love that and the fact that it started with that thought it really started with thinking differently. That was that was the impetus for it. So what were some of the major pivot points. Because they've been you've got to that. I you've built so much. What are some of the pivot points and and struggles because folks. I can tell you. I have talked to a millionaires. I have a lot of millions as friends and one of the things we all share in common is. It was not a straight rocket ship. It never will right. I have made in less money three times..

"Thank you done done for joining us on. Its have a legend of the speech. Technology industry joined us. How long have you been doing well. Too long. founded back in eighty five and part of it was looking at what was going on in automated context centers at that point which oddly enough and this might appreciate that the the stove that we studied was when sort of a phone circuit and computer came together and one of the one of the quick and dirty things people did was sort of modify. How directory assistance operators could you can shorten the amount of time that a directory assistance operator could give the name and address by sort of capturing the query with essentially a robot and they use the technology they had back then to write scripts and save the phone companies billions of dollars. So you know this stuff that's been proving its worth in context centers for decades. So would you would you. Would you say that. Recently things have accelerated. I'm reading the law about and things like our conversation and useful for. I'm a wall is the difference. Is there any difference between what's happening. Now this is something. And then everything then so speed. Trek has has improved in fits and starts in those thirty years. And i don't want to talk about thirty years ago. It goes really wasn't using speech wreck so much is just sort of capturing voice forwarding. Along somebody to listen to. So let's say that in the past three years or so. There's just an amazing acceleration in the accuracy of speech recognition. You think even ten years ago we were getting pretty good record. We got has contaminated speech. So you didn't need to say digit or say a word and stop starting around two thousand eight where the advancements have been and where higher powered computers and larger databases of things that can be understood of come along is is really in the past. Eighteen months time class has two or three years. It's just been a horse race. Says has you've been able to save pretty much natural language processing. It's called that has supported people speaking in their own words and recognizing intent from those words and and then matching it with the objectives. Were that intent takes people. So we've we've seen incredible acceleration and just what you can do with an automated voice assistant both points intelligent in coins. But we're talking about contact center so you know it's in the context centers that we're seeing efficiencies. We're seeing what used to be. Relatively extensive technologies thanks to new consumption models like blanket service become portable for companies of all sizes to to essentially have a virtual assistant. Answer the phone in sort of understand until he wants to do and propel them along the way
