"Season so they like kokin he had kind of a breakout camp and it makes sense to keep them here and it probably signals the end of the antonio gates area area barring an injury or something that that forces their hand. I know you keep bringing that up but i know fans want to hear it but yeah that's that's all but dead right now. Let's go to finish up offense offense and it is the offensive line. It's not a pretty one but this is what they liked. It is trent scott. Dan feeney mike pouncey michael scofield sam tevi force lamp the rookie third round pick trae pipkins and scott question mary yeah you got this group right. I had them keeping keeping spencer drank. Oh just because because they're desperate and he can quote unquote theoretically play guard and tackle but he was awful in san francisco so i have no no problem with them cutting him. It'd be wrong on that one. He was brutal well. Hold on now. He ended up getting on the practice squad so yeah they kept. They kept drink drank. Oh and they also kept chris. Brown both thought were awful in the preseason so got not sure why they kept both those guys but here we are both on the practice practice squad so i guess congratulations to them still having a job <hes> but yeah this is a this is an alarming group. Hopefully you know this is a situation where we wind wind up with a starting interior trio at some point in the near future of lamp pounds ian feeney the tackle positions are very very frightening trend and scott started out really poorly in the preseason and i thought he got better as the preseason went on tevi started out poorly and got worse during the preseason pipkins was awful in the first preseason game and got steadily better and i thought was arguably their best tackle in the last two games in the preseason ago and that of course brought forth anthony lens relevancy revelation last week that pipkins was still in in competition for one pro bowl tackle jobs so if it were me right now just based on preseason performance and what we've already seen from tevi during couple of regular seasons here. I know this is going to scare. People and i can't believe i'm saying this this but i think it's the right way to go. I think they have to go with scott and pipkins as a starting tackles because tevi scares the crap outta me and i think ultimately the decision it comes down to not being part of the future and if that's the case then you need to give those snaps to pipkin because he's a guy who really seems like a sponge to me as critical as we were of him early in the in the preseason and he was deserving deserving of it <hes> he got so much better over the last couple preseason games and it's obvious that he's putting in the work and learning earning. There's still a lot of room for improvement but the only place is the only place where those improvements he needs to make are going to happen is on the field so i think they benefit more long-term from getting him on the field now probably as the right tackle and having scott as left tackle and then doing whatever they can to try to help those guys tight ends and running backs and just getting heavy the hell out of there because tevi spent the whole preseason chasing guys from behind he was terrible. He was either on his heels on his ass or in the trail position position the whole the whole preseason. That's interesting that you'd wanna flip them to you. Don't want pipkins at left tackle scott at right tackle. You wanna flip that pipkins at right tackle and scott left. I mean either way. You're kind of hamstring yourself but i'm not you know it's it's hard. I'm just not sure i want pipkins protecting rivers blindside right now <hes> although he did look really good at left tackle and he and lamp worked really well together in san francisco so i wouldn't be opposed him playing left tackle but i think maybe you haven't learned it right tackle to get him ready to play left taco..

"I think we've talked about this before. We both really liked for his lamp at a college but he hasn't done much. They haven't played a play Dan Feeney who is terrible over yeah. I like Dan Feeney a little bit coming out to anyways Craig. WHO's the center before before we get into that Antonio Brown? We just straight up. Actually I remember I remembered him. I was available. I forgot I forgot about it until I forgot about him. So I'M GONNA go ahead and go out there and say Sammy Watkins still because I don't want they love it. Love it centers a two-horse race between Rodney Hudson and Mike Pouncey think I'm GonNa go pouncey on this one. I think it Hudson's Hudson's been good lately too but I think I'm going to go with health. I think the right guards guards gave Jackson from Oakland. I think that's probably the pick I'm trying to think if there's another right guard offense of lines literally the hardest one to do all these I would say probably gave Jackson and my missing someone Dalton prisoner now next matty ray tackle. This is a pretty easy one Mitchell Schwartz and I feel like the left door going with Andrew Wile who is very ambitious. It kind of seems like I'm just throwing all these chiefs out there. The Sammy Watkins deadly home repick left guard on looking through the A._F._C. West. There's nobody there Mitchell. Schwartz is the pick by the good pictures left guard. Take you through dark man that was like the easiest one and you still had you still had something right uneasy about my left guard pig evanger Wiley then I'm looking through everybody else. Ronald leary doesn't for me. Dan feeney not good living like what what am I supposed to do with this. Craig gives us an edge von Miller. I mean it. It's real easy. Vaughn is the number one edge in the group especially with Khalil Mack and Justin Houston D Ford out of the equation at Vaughn is number one edge yeah. I'll give you an interior defensive linemen and I'll take it easy on myself Chris Jones. I mean very good football player next mattie another -nother D. Tackle Derek Wolfe. I think he's a little under eight Derek Wall. Uh Gross really who would you go. I don't know not Derek Wolfe Oh to go first. Yes I love mowers. No it dirk wolves fine. Whatever I don't like I still like give us? Give us an edge Craig. Yeah I got both edges here. Can you give us both at the same time that's fine. It's between Frank Clark and Joey Bosa for the other one opposite of Von Miller. I think I'm going to go Clark just for consistency and health but Joey Bosa is amazing so I'm going to go Clark. I'm up at the will and just so we can continue to make sure that everybody knows who the will is on this football team. I'm taking Anthony Hitchens just to make sure everyone knows he is the will in the base. Baddy gives us a mic the MIC I I'm drawing some blanks right now. I Guess Denzel Perryman would. Would help he's very good. He said he would be a better reggie. Ragland play down but we're GONNA go with and then the Sam <hes> I'm going to go. Thomas Davis coming over from Carolina. I know he's old. I know he's slow but I I love me some Thomas Davis. It may be just an old man. Pick right there but I love me some Thomas Davis. I'm also trying to figure out I'm not sure how many other will linebackers they are in the A._f._C. West either perfect perfect okay anyways cornerback since we're picking to Chris Harris has got to be on that list in then. Let's see the other one's very easy to whom I've drawn a blank on Casey Hayward..

Dan Feeney Mitchell Schwartz Craig Thomas Davis Denzel Perryman Derek Wolfe Sammy Watkins Antonio Brown Rodney Hudson Vaughn Frank Clark football Derek Wall Joey Bosa Mike Pouncey Jackson Chris Harris Casey Hayward Andrew Wile Anthony Hitchens

"His only miss came on a bubbled snap by Donnie Jones and miss blocked by by Dan Feeney that led to a block kick. Otherwise who knows? Maybe he's six for six. He was fantastic had a fifty three yarder into the wind. I believe late in the second quarter. And once again, I mean, just keeping his head down making kicks. There's no nerves in this kid doesn't seem like there's anything that shakes him. He's just. Money so kudos to him. For a great game. You mentioned Melvin Ingram. Seven tackles two tackles for loss to sacks a forced fumble on a fumble recovery. Basically the game of his life. Adrienne Phillips six tackles three passes broken up, a fumble recovery and an interception, again, kind of a modest tackle total but pretty much the game of his life Joey Bosa to tackles of sack he led all defenders in the wildcard round of the playoffs and pressures was six six pressures. Michael davis. Maybe had his best game of the year. Two tackles, two passes broken up. Very nearly had interception in the fourth quarter on the ravens first touchdown drive. I believe Darius file on Justin Jones, and even you can throw Isaac Rochelle on there and Damian square all those guys they plug gaps they provided pressure. The chargers did a really nice job of really attacking Matt Scherzer and James Hurst and later on in the game, Bradley bozeman the left guard. Just abused those guys and gave them fits the whole game. The interior linemen deserve a ton of credit. Does king too long returns? I think he had a sack five or six tackles in the game. He was everywhere. His returns probably should've set up two touchdown drives. They wind up getting a field goal out of both of them. I believe, but he was electric return again. And you just see the chargers are winning the they're not the the offense isn't doing as well as we all would like to see a do or as as we might expect it to do. But it's a group of guys or contributing it somebody different every week. And those are the kind of things that win not just playoff games, but hopefully championships because they're getting they're getting production up and down the roster from everybody, and it's carrying them to wins. So all those guys are ton of credit and the roster as a whole really deserves credit for the way they played that game. And really just wouldn't let the ravens bully them into boy them out of their game. Which is what happened in the first matchup? Not anybody mentioned so far, but somebody I wanna talk about or at least a position group, and that's the offense of line. And I think they really answer the call this week because during that week sixteen matchup charged off its of land got pushed around especially the three in the interior, Dan Feeney, Mike pouncey, Michael Scofield. We talked about on the preview you a key to this game was to keep river's clean and more time than not they gave him enough time. Especially since the last time they met and rivers had time to operate on Sunday. The ravens interior Michael Pierce, Brandon Williams Brenta urban they teed off on rivers the first time around and the offense of line while not perfect enough to give rivers time to operate rivers. Wiz. Also had a good adjustment to throw at pressure with disloyal down a couple times. We saw those back toback dump off awesome. That cler with a man come and free out the edge. The online had a really tough assignment against Baltimore. They're really good. And I know Pierce left early in that game. But they excelled and then some. Communication was so much better. The stunts twists were much better. Even some delayed. Blitz were stopped early in their progression. And the ravens Ed rushers couldn't really get home. Either. Last time they give four sacks on rivers on Sunday..

"To try to chase key and Allen who stopped on a dime. Went back. The other way jerk routes the route second night at the forty yard line split out wide, right as Ecuador. To the left side. Too wide now on the right side empty backfield rivers to throw from the gun over the middle catches made on the slide at the Steelers forty six Mike Williams, Cody Sensabaugh, long the coverage at the chargers were very close to having somebody move early on that offensive line. No flag in it's a first down. There's two or three times already. We've seen that TJ. Watt is yelling at the officials because he feels like the chargers right tackle to was definitely early. You know, the charges are going with a silent. Cadence the left Dr Dan Feeney is looking back to rivers and getting his key as to when to tell Mike pouncey snap. The ball penalty has little has before he snaps at begun with three receivers to the right of the line. Justin Jackson, the working for western in the backfield. First and ten at the Steeler forty six yard line. Rivers throw river steps up looking deep down the right sideline Benjamin. And he's got and he'll walk into the. For the touchdown. He beat Mike Hilton down the right sideline for forty six yards. And the chargers are on the board trailing thirteen to six and the crowd is brewing. And I don't blame him. With early that time again. Close. Out of his stats before. Mike pouncey snap a good quarter. Half a second TK. What's going crazy now? That still doesn't mean you should. A guy like Travis Benjamin. Fast skies. Believe get max up one on one on a nickel corner. Like, Mike Hilton Benjamin. This toast. But it did disrupt the play a little bit. Because it looked like it was a false start penalty. Mike Tomlin was on the field as badgley lines up to the extra point banks through. He was on the field with his challenge flag. His hand begging to be able to challenge that they didn't call a false start. And during this time out Mike Tomlin is gonna have words for a couple of gentlemen in striped shirts. "And that line is exciting there. Headliners Cameron Heyward. John Hargrave and Stefan to it. Who was limited on Wednesday. We'll see if you'll go Sunday outside the Rams de line doesn't get much better than that three-man rotation man. They are all grade a run defenders and then get after the quarterback to Hayward has six sacks already the season Hargrave has five and a half sacks. And Stephan to it who's been out might make return this weekend. He has three sacks in nine games. Dan, Feeney had his troubles early on Sunday against the cardinals certainly has had a down year in general and this test gets harder this week with Hayward Hargrave and presumably to it and right before to it went down. He recorded three sacks and four games. So he was writing a hot hand before he got injured without to it in the last two games. Steelers have given up three hundred and three total. Rushing yards in the floor games. Prior. When Pitt had to it. They allowed two hundred ninety two total rushing yards two. It really helps that run defense if he's back on Sunday offense of lines really going to have to work to try to get off the neck ler and Justin Jackson going since Melvin Gordon will not be going the Sunday this weekend and probably all this week or you hear a brother matchup between T J watt Steelers edge defender and the chargers fullback, but really who cares. The chargers have the worst. What brother, plus he's a fullback, but his brother TJ watt is the Steelers weakside linebacker TJ has been so much better in his second year already hitting the double digit sack Mark with ten the season. Not only that but TJ has really got his hands on some footballs. He's got a pass deflections and four four fumbles this year. Now what I will say about what is he's not really a disciplined player yet. He's got one goal in mind. And that's it. For the quarterback. And I'm hoping chargeable run. At what try to slow him down and use that quicker pace. Like they did on Sunday versa. Cardinals was in hunt. Saw that the cardinals interior were really getting to Philip rivers early on. This is another really good defensive interior in. Pittsburgh what they did was got the ball out of rivers and quickly stopping the rush. Not even giving those pass rushers enough time to get to rivers quick developing plays getting the ball at a rivers hands fast. And they had it all working. So getting the ball out quickly will not only help the line, but it's gonna make the Steelers back in cover more. And that's a very good proposition. We'll get to it. Other edge defenders, bud. New pries are strong side linebacker, but he's kind of banged up. He might not play Sunday. If not it'll be Anthony kilo he'll be the next man up at that strong side linebacker spot. If depre- can't get in on Sunday, and at the second level, those inside linebackers. Aren't really guys? I'm very excited about not a group that I think is overly impressive, and they're just okay. His Jon Bostick, Vince Williams. They're just fine. The without Vince willing to had a really good game on Sunday against the Broncos river shouldn't have any problems tech in the middle of field with that group. And it kinda gets worse after that Steelers secondary is their weakness Joe Haden, Cody Sensabaugh their corners. Both have not been great this year, especially Santa the safety group Morgan Burnett..

"You got to look and see what do the Broncos still do. Well, what are the charges do? Well, the charts. Do a lot of things. Well, they're ranked in the top ten or middle of the pack and a bunch of categories or eighth and yards per game. At three ninety two point one is I mentioned earlier third in yards per play. Just behind the Rams and chiefs points per game tent. So right there at top ten team in that category. They run the ball seventh best in the NFL, which is a couple of spots better than your Denver Broncos. They haven't been intercepted very much as I mentioned, Philip rivers. Having one of his best years twenty one touchdowns against four picks. They've only the ball three times. The Broncos are better there though. They've only fumbled it twice. They just don't give the ball away. They don't allow a lot of sacks. Either Russell Okuno former Bronco. He's playing left tackle. Michael Scofield, former Bronco he is you're starting right guard. Here's a fun fact, and you just don't see this very often Michael Scofield who remember starting right? Tackle here on Super Bowl fifty on that roster, obviously. And then was let go the next year in training. Camp has now found himself a home. Anyway, math is wrong on that. But was like go last year. Yeah. Guess that's right. He was like oh last year. So it's bet one more year after Super Bowl fifty and he'd moved to right guard down in L A with the chargers. I believe started a handful of games last year, maybe five and now he started all nine at right guard the left guard second-year player, Dan, Feeney out of Indiana. They went to the same high school now they're a couple of years apart. And I don't know if they ever played together because I think Scofield's viewers older, but they're both from the same high school Orland park in Chicago. We've got some other fun high school teammate stuff they'll will get into. I guess is the best way I'll tease it. Don't go anywhere. We're gonna talk to Broncos player who has a high school team. On the chargers and who grew up within walking distance of the stubhub center. When you look on this side of the ball at both defenses. The chargers are kind of middle of the pack and just about every category except points per game. They're only giving up twenty point seven that's eight. You're Broncos given up twenty three point seven. That's fifteenth. Broncos seventh in the NFL with twenty eight sacks the chargers just a little bit behind him. Twenty six sacks. That's ninth. Best on third down on the chargers have been very good. You're Broncos are eleventh charges twenty-third. So you can give irt third downs against the Broncos on the other side of the ball. Also, it's worth noting. The chargers don't get to a lot of third downs. But they're actually worse than the Broncos. In terms of third down conversion there. Thirty four percents. Broncos slightly better thirty five point three. And again, it's going to be an adjustment for the Broncos upfront. No, max Garcia. He toys ACL in practice. Thursday, didn't even realize it. And so that's obviously a tough tough blow. See Billy Turner got. It started eighteen games at garden for. Right tackle. But started a bunch of games for the dolphins at guard hill now slide in just starting left guard Connor McGovern, you're starting center. And he's in there for Matt Paradis and in his spot. It's starting right guard you now get Elijah Wilkinson who is a tackle. All right. Let's hear from some of the Broncos players and coaches as we look at this matchup. Anthony Lynn a guy who was part of the Broncos all teams in the late nineties special teams player in and running back backup to Terrell Davis. Of course in his second year. He and Vance Joseph used to be neighbors. When VJ was here with the Broncos. They as a player they lived literally backyards backed up to each other. So there guys that know each other really, well, here's VJ talking about for Bronco and longtime friend Anthony Lynn head coach of the chargers. Dollars. How.

"So to your point. I think in office coordinator can look at it and most offense corners, I would think would say if we're going to start the season with five brand new offense lineman. And by the third week. We're going to have a new center and a new right tackle. And by this point in the season. We're on our third center and our third regard. I'm going to tweak our offense, and we are going to become more of a run first offense, and we're going to become more of a plaque office to help those guys out. That's what you would think. It hasn't. Exactly transpired that way. Okay. So so I used to know why you didn't think the giants should dress Barkley over all because he li- Manning's age straight up. And you don't know if you're the giants who like you talk about one of the reasons that they are such a storied and proud franchise it's old players, and it's fan base and everything else is because they're perennial. Not maybe SuperBowl contenders playoff contenders. And as a result in New York City, you can't just be a bum five and eleven team for very long air go you're not gonna have many of the jet. It. That's their that's their joking. I'm joking. Are you? I love the jets. Okay. Either way that well there is a difference. I think national perception of those two so you're based and how many you you certainly can't plan while we'll have another shot. We'll be in the top two or three slots in the INA draft sometime soon. And that's not what you want a bit. You don't have to drive the top five. They get a quarterback a franchise quarterback. I mean, drew Brees wasn't a top five pick. Tom Brady wasn't a top five pick. The most pluck managed running back. But if your argument areas with that, if your argument is strictly based on age, then I give you exhibit a of Philip rivers and two years ago. The charges were hot mess and Philip rivers people were talking about Phil burgers has done. I mean, that's it like charged either draft another quarterback where they had written him off. And they came to him. And I said, hey, if the charges draft a quarterback. Hi, would you be willing to tutoring? He's a no that's not my job. No. I'd be mad because that basically means they're giving up on me, and they don't want to win. Now. What did they do? They drafted to offense Allama to in the first round of four slam who still has trying to get on the field because he's been banged up. But Dan Feeney. So they went and invest in the offense. And now look at them the playoffs. I mean if he sees ended right now they'd be in the playoffs. And the the only distinction really you're the same age. I agree. The only the only difference is although used like you say. Say force lamp with the injuries the two tackles out of they went on Russell. Oh kumon. So they right. Who has done been? He's done a great job left tackle solidify in that spot. But without that offense, align Philip rivers looked ancient he looked fragile. He didn't look like. The biggest difference is that to this point. At least. You know, Eric flowers abject bust for you. Swing gonna miss and Nate solder is he'll be fine. He will be. All right. Yeah. He's given up some Saks. But when you're left tackle the league that happens. His one has best attributes is to run the speed rotary by. And that's kind of how he made a career of New England of Tom Brady stepping up. Well, your quarterback can't step up in the pocket of your guards are getting beat. So named solar is used to running guys by the quarterback, which he does really well and the quarterback can't step up. So he's right there in the line of fire..

"Calhoun jumping off sides. You know, as I said in the broadcast partner. You can't have those instances when you're a team that's struggling you really have to play near perfect football. And we saw a lot of good things out of the raiders in the first half, especially the first quarter. What they're able to do on both offense and defense, but it's really hard to keep a good team. Like the chargers contain for too long that touchdown. Not only does it work against the raiders on the scoreboard. But the fact is the chargers come out in the second half and get the ball again. So I'm hoping for the raiders sake. The St. PAT's comes out and plays inspired again like they did at times in the first half. And that's a very good point the last touchdown. Remember, the forty Niners did not give up a touchdown, right? When they defeated the raiders on that Thursday night game. The last raider touchdown came in the third quarter. When Derek Carr found Brandon LA fille for a six yard touchdown. You might recall a little bit earlier in that game. And surprising us car scored his first rushing when he reached over the goal line. So it has been now seven three quarters without a touchdown. Big time scoring drought office has got to find a way to get things. Going more importantly, the offense a line in the first half. Brent didn't okay at times opened up some good holes kinda got the running game going, but they gotta do a much better job in protecting number four. I mean, you cannot have success in this league. If your quarterback is under constant arrests. And and unfortunately for Derek Carr in this offense at the reason one reason why they struggled as mightily as a head is because they can't Sherifi the protection. Desmond king goes into the end zone. He'll return this kickoff for the chargers as we get ready to get underway. The ball is on the TV for Daniel Carlson. The fourth kicker. Leaders have had and one heads for the end zone. It's returnable comes came light side cuts back toward the middle at the numbers process. The twenty two twenty three yard line. And that's where Philip rivers and the charger offense. We'll go back to work. So Russell Oku is a left tackle, Dan Feeney left guard, Mike pouncey center Scofield right guard. Joe Barksdale over there tackle, this is the second game that we've seen this officer unit and Lincoln this offensive line. Does an underrated jobs for the chargers. The green, and.

"I didn't know we had it in them. Obviously, I watched him last year when the chargers played the Browns. But with the way he's progressed has been really impressive. Ogan Jobe is a tough piece to move in the run game, and he really Rex shop as a pass. Rusher ogan Jobe leaves the team of pressures which is better than their best pass rusher Myles Garrett, and he's tied for fourth in league among defensive tackles in that category. And he's tied with the forest Buckner. Think about how good is production is if he's up there with the forest Buckner now, charters interior offense of Lyman. Dan Feeney. Michael Scofield. Most importantly center, Mike pouncey are going to have to anchor that middle. It gets oaken Jobe. That's gonna be tough task. So then you go to the outside with these pass rushers and they have a talented one of Myles Garrett cared as an athlete that can win with speed or power. Also exhibit some really good band. He's averaging a sack game this year is really taking a jumpiness progression as well. And if Russell Kun can go on Sunday that is not good for Sam teddy in the chargers. So opposite Garrett, they've got a manual Oba rushing from the other side. He's a long lean pass rusher. He wins mostly with speed Oba's played three games this year, and to be honest with you, I don't think he's been very good, and he hasn't really been that productive either what Okba can do when he doesn't get home on the pass, rush his get his hands and passing lanes. He's already got three pass deflections this year, but honestly, Oprah's really out shied by the rookie Gerard Avery. Avery is team Sam behind Jamie Collins. He starting to put it together. There's a pass rusher. He's got a sack and a half in eight QB hits. Avery is ranked as a top fifteen edge defender right now if Barksdale and Okuno aren't back this week, those young tackles Trent Scott Sam teddy to have to find a way to stop getting Avery. So then we moved back to these linebackers and like a guy mentioned earlier, Jamie Collins, he's the starting Sam generes behind him, but he's been known as one of the league's best SAM's, but he starting to fall off a little bit. He looks a little slowdown the season but called can really bring it as a run defender. And the other linebackers are the Mike Joe show. Burt and the will Christian kirksey. They will man the middle Kirk. He's been okay this season, but Joe Schober is a dog in coverage. Ogan Jobe impressed. The hell out of me and Joe Schober te may my jaw drop. He doesn't really do anything in the run game, but that man can cover. He is by far the. The best coverage linebacker. The charges of face this year in Schober has got to be top five in that category league. He surprised me. He really, really surprised me. So in Tokyo gates, Virgil, green gonna have a tough day on Sunday. This is a talented defense, so all these linebackers can cover. They leave a lot to be desired against the run. They've allowed to one hundred yard rushers this season in. They've been to physical back marshawn Lynch of the raiders and James. Connor of the Steelers who both rushed for over one hundred thirty yards. This is an advantage for the way Melvin Gordon has been running because if he runs tough like he has, he'll be successful if he dances in the backfield it's gonna be a long day. This isn't a very good tackling group. So Gordon will need to run with power in create some extra yards. We've seen the good and bad of melon gourd throughout his career obviously, right this year and I'll take you back to the game against Cisco. He was running harder than we've probably. Ever seen him. That might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but he was running very impressive against the forty Niners. And if he does that again where he's running, hard head down, not letting one defender bring him down and making more guys come to him to bring him to the ground. He's going to have a lot of yards on Sunday. If he dances in the backfield thinks too much, it's going to be a long day for the chargers offense. So then we've talked about ogan Jobe impressive out front, Joe Schober that man can cover..

Rusher ogan Jobe Joe Schober Myles Garrett chargers Jamie Collins Gerard Avery Melvin Gordon Sam teddy Steelers Buckner Mike pouncey Connor Trent Scott Sam teddy Mike Joe Russell Kun Dan Feeney Browns Oba Michael Scofield marshawn Lynch

"He had another sack another tackle for loss and a pass deflected from the tackle position. I think this one guy to look out for he was super disruptive in college. He's a guy I talk about a lot of people were fans of prior to the draft and look into how Dan Feeney's kinda had a rough start the season, Michael Scofield now playing the absolute best at his position either that's gonna be one match to wash specifically, come gametime yet. So speaking of, you know, you named a bunch of the starters for the raiders in IB remiss if we didn't mention the final injury ports are not yet. We'll give those guys on our Saturday show. But the raiders are extremely banged up right now. So let me run through their injury report thus far this week. So Amari Cooper, obviously their number one target in the receiving game. He has a foot injury. He was limited both Wednesday and Thursday. So we don't know if he's going to practice on Friday or not, or is that is for the game, but he's banged up. He's obviously not a hundred percent. Their starting center. Rodney Hudson has an ankle injury. He was limited Wednesday and Thursday. MAURICE Hurst. You just mentioned who you played sixty percent of their defensive snaps at detangle this week. He has a shoulder injury and was limited Wednesday and Thursday. Bruce Irvin who's really their only pass rusher now that they traded away mad Khalil Mack, Bruce Irvin he hurt his knee apparently in yesterday's practice because he was added to today's injury report. Any was only limited today gave Jackson who's their starting guard as a pictorial injury. He was limited yesterday today. Karl Joseph. Didn't practice either day this week. Our Sean Lynch who I just said is one of the keys of the game to stopping. He didn't play when he didn't practice Wednesday at all, and was limited today Holton Miller, their rookie starting left tackle was limited yesterday today and Alexia simulate their other starting guard as a knee injury and didn't practice yesterday or today. So that's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Eight of their starters have been either limited or not practicing this week, and that will be huge for the chargers. I mean, the charges are a little banged up to, like you mentioned, Qazir whites out, Joey Bosa obviously still out update on Travis Benjamin for those of you who don't know. He has a cast on his foot as practice this week in his apparently supposed to be two to three weeks. You know, whatever. Good news, Joe Barksdale and Russell Kun were both back limited today. I'm pretty sure Anthony. Lynn said he doesn't expect either of them to be available on Sunday, but it's a good sign that they're practicing. It'll be good to have them back. But yeah, I mean, the the raiders were only rolling into week five and they are already the walking wounded over there in Oakland, definitely rights and just above. One of the we mentioned on the charters injury report that was a Travis Benjamin being out for, I think you said it was two, three, four weeks like that yet to three weeks is everything that I saw. Okay. And that's an honestly a good thing to wanna wish injuries on people, but it was kind of a night and day difference between win Travis. Benjamin was utilized in the offense of game plan against the Niners and win. He wasn't available against the Rams the week before all of a sudden the Mike will you know, train of. Popping off for awesome. Touchdowns get targets all that stuff that really came to an end. The second that Trump's Benjamin came back to playing some sort of a role. So honestly, Travis Benjamin good receiver. He's done plenty for the chargers. He's been hurt quite a bit lately. But as of right now, I don't think the chargers need him. And I think if anything he is keeping a targets way from Mike Williams and kind of limiting this offense going forward because I think when he's on the field, the office code staffer, some reason feels the need to fit him in somehow and especially watching the chiefs, the Rams, all these people utilize their speed players with terms of motions and other things such as that, you know, to distract whatever get them looking the wrong way. They've been trying to do that with Benjamin on these orbit motions, jet motions these sweeps, and it just does not seem to be working. I don't know why it isn't because it looks like..

"I know during the Rams game, they barely threw the ball to either of the backs which was weird because going in a lot of thought that was gonna be one of the ways they could take advantage of the linebacker mismatches because that was the one weeks along the Rams defense, those linebacker or so expect things to kind of get back to normal Gordon to catch some balls outside of the backfield Ecuador as well. Fun fact, I just read this before. We started recording that Gordon is Philip rivers, favorite receiver when he's under pressure. So out of the thirty six times, he's been pressured and gotten the ball off to a completion gorens been on the end of a quarter of those nine of those thirty. Six have gone to Gordon and I expect a similar situation like that to happen against the Niners, especially with their fronts, seven, Eric arms to force Buckner to the most underrated defensive lineman. Interior defensive linemen in the NFL and the closest thing to rattle the fastest things rattle river skews me is getting pressure up the middle. So if that happens, if guys like Dan Feeney can't step up, Scofield can't step up or even pounds. Econo- has a lacklustre game that could lead to again, dump off guys like Gordon and really raising the floor for those two running backs. We mentioned Allen a little bit earlier. He's always going to be a must start if he's on the field. I know it's a little sketchy last year is obviously solidified himself as one of the top PR wide receivers. If he's not terribly limited for, you know the knee injury. I don't know exactly how bad it is, but Allen's should be always start if he suits up. I just don't think you over think that Mike, what we talked about again, he solidified himself as a very high end flex, maybe even a wide receiver to especially with how he's done comparatively to tyrel, who was his biggest competition for wide receiver to snaps in in that way. To spot so high in flex wide receiver to depends on how deep your league is. If you're like mine, I'm a ten team league, my main league with Mike will and he's been my flex lately and absolutely loved it. He's got excellent opportunity. This aim to take advantage of that deplete secondary tyrel. Like I said, big question Mark, some for seventy and a touchdown is is nothing for a guy who usually hangs his hat on explosive plays. But if there is a week for a bounce back game of any sort for tyrel you can say, this is one of those and then just to finish off the tight ends Virgil, green gates Virgil Green's been one of the highest rated players by pro football focus through verse three weeks. We all thought he was going to be a blocker first and foremost which he is, but he's showing a little more passing prowess than we initially thought going into the season, but both him engaged. And although gates had a pretty good game against the Rams broke tackles kinda looked a little retro. But again, he still doesn't have the same just doesn't. He doesn't anyone. Speedy did to source the field whatsoever. So greening gates are both gonna be a touchdown, dependence boomer bus kind of flex plays or tied plays. If you're looking really desperate, especially with guys like the Panthers being out the Redskins on a buys. Wells join Rian over in Davis and a believe. There's one more, but I know we're starting our first week of by. So if you aren't eating the stream tight end greening gates are worth a look in those deeper leagues and Travis Benjamin. I don't think we really have to mention him. He might play and he's always been dependent of some forty five yard touchdown throat which so far this season just hasn't happened, obviously, census drops against Kansas City. So probably just fade tribes. Benjamin are when things worth holding in a league. That's Sammy unless you there's any points I missed that you feel like you mentioned in terms of fancy play, but that is your fantasy forecast for this week?.

"The real strength is our Eric Armstead, who I think is playing much better than Selma Thomas right now in Armstead is in base packages and also he gets kicked in as well. So he's on the field. A lot more than Solomon Thomas's arms provides more of a pass. Rush is a really good run offenders. Well, for an honors have Ronald Blair who they also rush off the edge. He can get to the quarterback. He's third pass, rush on the depth chart. So Dan Feeney he's been sluggish here, but now look for him for another tough match-up is to force Buckner hope Fini inbound's back again this year. I think I've said at each week, he's had flashes of good play. Feeney's been tough this year, and at some point you hope transit around. So let's take a step back. Move on the second level. Talk about these. Linebackers and they got much better at that group because of a guy they added, which was one of my guys in the draft, Fred Warner don't think I won't start touting guys. I liked in the draft when I start watching these other teams that's not below me. I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon early because I don't get to watch other teams very often. And now when I'm doing this podcast, I do when I see guys like Fred Warner, I'm going to tell you about him. He's the teams. Mike last Sunday was ruined. Foster's first game back. He's the teams will that's two guys that can really stop the run Fred Warner Reuben foster and Fred waters been really impressive as a run defender room fosters pretty good coverage. He is quick man. He's a quick athletic linebacker at the second level, and that's a good nucleus. They have in the middle for San Francisco, some young guys for Warner Reuben foster like what they both do where they struggled out is tackling. And I mean at like every level, the forty Niners have forty three mistitled us far. That's the most in the NFL on Sunday. Reuben foster had six tackles Fred one or had four ser remember. Steady gave you earlier about yards after I contact and Austin being number two? Yeah, that'll play a part. But what you do have to look out for is this forty Niners run defense is very good. They haven't given up fifty yards to leading rusher this year. They did give two scores to cream hunt last week, so you might see snack learn. Melman Gordon may get some pater that way, but they're very stout in the middle. It's all about the run with the San Francisco forty Niners. They want to stop the run on defense and they're very good at doing it again, having given up more than fifty yards a game yet. And on offense, they wanna pound the rock. They wanna run it down your throats and they can with Matt Brita, forced force allow for more stunned your throat. That's where they succeed running the ball and stopping the run. So let's move on to the forty Niners secondary. And like I mentioned earlier, Richard Sherman out, I means Jimmy ward will be the next man up. It'll be a kilo Witherspoon and Jimmy ward on the boundary Sunday with this was looking for a jump and its progression this season with some flashes of potential last year. But he's struggled so far in Detroit. He gave a pair touchdowns staffer picked on them with Sherman still playing at that point with us. We'll give a costly passer fears penalty last week against the chiefs who was on their last drive with his team. Trent amount to comeback the worst penalty at the worst time. Witherspoon is part of the problem with miss tackling to a ton of these mistakes coming after line of scrimmage with the linebackers in the secondary, both starting safeties are dealing with some injuries as well. So these injuries are mounting their starting strong safety to quit ski. Tart didn't play last week with the shoulder stinger and we'll see if he can go this week, but the Fillon is the former Vikings DB antone zoom zoom was actually a bright spot in the secondary nine tackles even got a sack on Sunday who's very active and they're starting free safety. Adrian Colbert suffered a hip injury against the chiefs. And I know I said Colbert because that's how it's pronounced. It's not cold bear. I'm not some uncultured swine. I had to look it up because I just assumed it's going to be cool bail, but it's not. It's Colbert. So Adrian Colbert. Had two hip injury..

Of, weeks ago you gave some good insight if any of this repetitious I apologize for that I think the. AFC is pretty wide up yes? Pittsburgh New England are. More talented on paper than, anybody else but even, those two teams have their issues you mentioned questions. At wide. Receiver for the patriots and is like. Should still be Jacksonville it feels like we've forgotten that they were a play away from going to the Super Bowl and, they team hasn't, gotten they lost Markeith clean the preseason I don't. Want to downplay that. Loss but they have a deep wide receiver group they have a deep. Offense you, meet me, Blake Bortles is the critter critical. Point of failure there and then I think, right on their heels would be Houston with a healthy. To Shawn, Watson and the healthy JJ watt healthy Whitney mercilus and the chargers and the chargers had their share bad injury luck too but this is still. Team with a ton of talent defensive and. Cornerback of course the quarterback the offensive line should be better if got, a deep group of wide receivers they just got Antonio. Gates back for old time sake so I I still think it could be a really interesting playoff season with those five teams involved I'm not as high on charges as you are in a whole bunch of other guys that I know are they think, San Diego actually, could end up in the Super Bowl I don't. See it I was. Big Mike William fan when he came out and draft couple of years. Ago has, done absolutely, nothing so far but high drafted. Wide receiver is doing nothing he's not by, himself there they're all bunch of other guys in the. League you, could say the same thing about what is it you like about San Diego's passing game Well if the long as. They get this pair of young guards force lamp and Dan, Feeney healthy they got Mike pouncey should be a better running. Game and you mentioned Mike Williams they've got Tyrell Williams of course Keenan Allen Travis Benjamin who's a good deep threat. So they have a lot of targets for Philip rivers and, then just that combination Jodi, did, you read the pepper Johnson interview there was one day it's been a few days. Ago did. Not oh. Credible to take some time out it's? As much of a look behind the curtains will ever see and. He talks about how when he was with. The jets they wouldn't let him match the coverages to the pass rush and I think the chargers defense does that as well as just about anybody even without Jason for at. The ends they have. Both an Ingram and with the corners they have they can match. Their pass rush and their coverage is in a way. To really give teams a lot of trouble. Very interesting all right who's. Going to be the first coached it hits the. Hot seat this year in the NFL Dirk cutter I should have probably you probably shouldn't be Sitting in his seat anymore. As it is but I I you know we've already seen, some hints where they were having the offense coordinator taught Moncton. Call some place this is a team that's gonna start without Jameis Winston for the first three weeks they have three. Very tough games I think the saints and the Steelers and, the eagles and team three, you, and you also are hearing the GM thing we're not committed to Jameis Winston when. Week four. When he's.
