"A bite jordan. I've done everything i mean. I have posed as money. Launderer is worked as a drug dealer. I have worked as a transporter drug deals. I worked as a warehouse by the whole gamut. My career was twenty. four twenty. Six years was solely dedicated working on the company. If i was working for the fbi i would have been investigated by the fbi. Wall can't make good looking young lady. She served me literally. What would you like. I leave my frank. India martini three hours plus for water on the side. I finished the drink. The guys command. I'm gonna go go in my pocket. Take out the water money with the rubber band on it. I am one hundred dollars. You're not a guy who takes out a little leather wallet. And he's going to change or he's doing that. I imagine gangster sitting around. Let's split it up. I had the soup sandwich. French fries sometimes forbidding what goes. Hey your money's no good here what he had stolen embarrassing me over bar if i would have gone in there and became a guy who had never penny never went into his wall and never picked up a tab never had time never kicked up money you famous beyond my ass. They told me out. If you're with the mob. I say hey towards your on record with us that means we protect you. Nobody could shake it now can shake down. You're on record for more including tricks. Wise guys use to know who's legit and who's not mob culture and the rules that govern the always upward flow of money and how jack became so trusted by the highest levels of the organization that they offered him the chance to become a made man. Checkout episode three ninety two of the jordan harbinger show with jack garcia. Super interesting really really fascinating. Guy studies a lot of things depth which i always appreciate the film. We referenced is called the china hustle. It is on amazon prime video. If you're a prime member you got that free will link to that in the show notes. Now there's a proverb in chinese that says muddy water makes it easy to catch fish and what this means essentially is that opacity or lack of transparency creates opportunities to make money. And that's exactly what's happening here in these reverse. Merger sorta sketchy stock deals here. It is designed to suck money out of the system. There's almost no value to be had here. There's a lot that can be discovered about this in fact and found that there are filings in china. That have the real information about these companies. So one company might listen the united states and say hey we have one hundred million dollars worth of paper when you look up the chinese filings which are actually quite tricky to get. Apparently it'll say actually we have three million dollars in holdings and the companies in this kind of condition. unfortunately there's no way to find chinese auditors to find the fraud because those folks would just get disappeared. They wouldn't be around after they did that once or twice. And that's the way that things work over there. unfortunately and a lot of you are probably asking. Why can't we just change this and plug the loophole well. The fight is not necessarily with china here. The fight is with the us government so before everyone says man jordan really. Has it out for china. no. I'm not plotting this. Of course. I think it's terrible but the problem really is that nobody wants to kill the chinese. Golden goose right. There's tons of fees to be earned here by everyone along the way lawyers auditors 'financiers here in the united states. It's almost like legal corruption. So really while we're pointing the finger at china we should just be pointing. It's what's that phrase when you point your finger at somebody else there's three finger pointing back at you. It's never been more true. In this case we are equally complicit in allowing this to happen and as we mentioned on the show. it's public retirement. Pensions and retirement funds that lost approximately fourteen billion dollars just to these reverse merger frauds. These are mom and pop teachers. Ironworkers police losing this money and putting it in the pocket of some chain smoking living overseas and pocket square wearing lawyers. Just like i used to be here. In the united states bankers taken their fees out of that same cash in exchange for helping it out of the pockets of americans into the pockets of criminals. It's just infuriating. Can't tell them getting a little worked up over here the documentary. I really enjoyed the china hustle. In fact a few people storm out of the interviews on that documentary because they just realized they're going to look like greedy shits in the film. They just know it. They smell coming after a while and they go. Wait a minute. What's going on here and they just bounce. So that's kind of the mark of good documentary. They pushed a little bit right. There are over one hundred chinese companies trading in the us markets with a total market value of one point one trillion dollars as of two thousand seventeen. So there's way more by now and by the way that includes perfectly legitimate chinese companies as well. So i wanna be clear here. It's not one point one trillion dollars in complete. Bs in the market from china. It's the is mixed in with legit companies. And that's bad for those chinese companies to imagine if you play fair and you're working hard and you're crafting really great enterprise and a bunch of your colleagues countrymen over. There are just crafting garbage. It reflects poorly on youtube. They should be equally mad about this again. I want to distinguish between china and the chinese government versus the chinese people. I love my chinese listeners. Love my chinese fans wherever you may be. I married a chinese person right. This is about criminals in your country collaborating with criminal assholes or pseudo criminal assholes in my country this is not about you and i want to highlight that once again. "Tell me about alfred little because this doesn't just have financial consequences. Alfred little in hong is kind of is tragic figure in the film right and this this poor guy just walked right into this thinking he was doing the right thing and he did do the right thing cooed. Hong knew what he was doing. Coon was a one of the most experienced Investigators we had was team leader really and alfred. I john kearns working together in the beginning mostly from my perspective. Because you know look if you're long stock and you have something to say about it and you're wrong while you were just optimistic. And that's okay but if you're short a stock in your critical well. Somebody wants charged with a crime. So i was always wanting somebody with experience and ability to vet my research. And i would i would do. His as well and cohen was part of a team. He didn't he didn't write the report he didn't have anything to say. It was john kearns his boss. Who wrote the report. But kuhn was the only person could get their hands on in china and mandate just to his ass in jail. I mean like tomorrow and to understand the conditions that they didn't even really talk about in the movie. The guy spent two years in a cell the size of drunk tank with thirty other prisoners. I mean sleeping on a pallet like laid across lengthwise. Everybody slept on that pallet for two years and when we tried to complain about this the media i think the new york times picked it up at one point. Tell ya concern. China is about you know what we think of them. They read the story in the new york times and they to kuntzel. They took him out of hisself. They took him to the infirmary and they made them clean up after. Tb patients with no mask and no gloves and they said if we see another article in the newspaper in the united states about this. We're going to bring you in here and you're gonna lick it up so talk to your front. They were deadly serious jorde and we could not say another word about his incarceration at his trial. The lawyer for the offended company was prosecuting him with the state prosecutor it just like wow so unbelievably corrupt and improper. So this poor guy. He was investigating the silver mine. The communist party in like that threw him in jail. And this is what happened to this guy and as he tried to leave the country because he was endanger. They just picked him up through image. Not no no real trial obviously. Just no officials didn't like them and so he spent two years in jail and he was a canadian citizen born in china but yeah oh wow yeah. He naturalized as a canadian citizen. They don't care they don't care and candidate couldn't get him out that's all there is to it so you've got. They're the biggest frauds in. China are state owned enterprises. What they call. Soa's and many of these are going to be listed on their exchange and they're gonna want us to buy shares in them. That's coming very soon through hong kong connected and elsewhere and let me tell you something if you come out and you talk about a state owned enterprise being a fraud. They're not going to throw you in jail. They're going to fill the jail on top of you. You're not gonna make it out so they're frauds. We don't even talk. About jordan i mean. Are you worried about this. Personally you live in the united states right now. I'm worried about my investigate. I can't do any of this without people on the ground in china. Okay and i'm not going through that cohen thing again. You know. I could live with it. I mean coon had his chances. He had his chances to leave. He just didn't believe that the government would care. He just couldn't believe that they're going to pick him up and do what they did and unfortunately they did. But if you're talking about president she family or a national championship champion. The state owned enterprise. Though kill you. I talk about. Wow way. different shows immediately. Start getting hacked to their hacking. Your computers what tapping your phone line or whatever things got. Oh yeah i mean the in two thousand eighteen. I think it was The the fbi calls me out of the blue and says you know we would like to talk to you about your compromise systems. And they wouldn't even talk to me on the phone about who they suspect it so yeah come on out fine. They fly in from parts. That i won't mention because they asked me not to. But so just saying this isn't the local regional field office right. That's ten miles away. And they they flew in and they're like yeah. You know you're absolutely being surveilled. You being tapped out. Yeah welcome to the fucking party. I mean it's been that way for eight years. And what are you gonna do about it though. And there's nothing they can do about it. They took our servers. They took our our information. Which is a very difficult thing for me to give up right for the business that i'm in. You know an all the companies. Not looking at that. I haven't possibly gone public with yet. I did just give it all up and trusted my government. But i did. I never heard anything back. But you know. I know that we're constantly surveilled. So the sec outmanned outgunned. They've busted one or two of these frauds. Shortsellers have busted at the time of the documentary which is like two thousand sixteen seventeen have busted like fifty of these right. So that's interesting. I assume it's it helps. Stop the frauds. Because people who lose money and see the pattern and see the writing on the wall they hopefully wise up and refused to invest again even when they when you short something and then it gets exposed. If i lose a bunch of money. I'm not gonna invest in these kind of shady companies anymore in theory. You would think. But i mean i'll be exposing in front of the next couple of weeks. China-based fraud One of the biggest frauds on the market today you know carson talks about all the time you can go on twitter and see jess x. Is.

"They just told you to get lost. 'cause you're their investment vehicles right. No well. They told me they'd sue me. I mean okay. I even worse. Yeah and they did. I mean they were part of getting their clients to sue us. So our first tact like we weren't we've never sold a share short in two thousand and nine and when when we saw muddy waters and some of the others in that paper company was was the muddy waters company and that was the first one i remember really coming out was orient paper and i thought wow. This guy is just lying through his teeth. I worked for a publicly traded company for thirteen years and we would never lie like that. We've sarbanes oxley. We've got all these compliance issues. They've got auditors that are looking at this right so we hired our own team to go look at thirty companies to prove that the short sellers are lying and are wrong and our team came back after like two months looking at thirty companies. And they said yeah. The short sellers are wrong. They're understanding the problem Fraud is pervasive. it's out in the open so we're here like what we do now. We don't want to sell shares short. We we want to continue to invest. That's the american way right not to bet against but tibet four. So okay well. Obviously the banks are collecting ten percent transaction fees here. And they're not doing their due. Diligence like they say they are because the banks would always tell investors. Oh we went over to china and kick the tires so into the banks who said look. This is what you're missing. We can ramp up a robust due diligence team to vet any of these deals. Because i'm sure you don't want to sell these deals to the market. That are frauds. And they're like hold on a second. You want us to pay you not to represent these companies because if you come back and say they're a fraud we collect transaction fees but if we don't know we have plausible deniability. We collect as much as we want. So how about you get outta here before we sue you and have every one of these guys sui you at the same time and yeah i mean by our second or third report we'd put out. We're getting sued and the first to report. You put out a point out that we didn't even take short position. We just sit here. We spent fifty thousand dollars bion grave plots in china Just to prove that this company didn't own the graveyard that said they own and publish this report and nobody cared that. We said we weren't short. They still called the short. Seller's this is who you are if you're going to be critical your short seller that's all there is to it and we lost fifty thousand dollars in due diligence so from then on we started shorting and five or six lawsuits later. There you go. We have lost any. We never will but yeah. It's a nuisance. So what are they. Suing you for defamation. Or something like that i mean. What's the cause of action defamation. Always in their okay. One of referred to me as a financial terrorist. That's my favorite. That you frame that one i assume on the life. It's like looking at this thing. i'm like i have parents man. I mean seriously did financial terrorist. What does that even mean. Yeah so yeah. It's defamation towards parents. It's slander all of these things that they could come up with. It comes down. Basically to defamation. Product disparagement are things of this nature and they lose over and over and over again but the point is it costs them. Nothing to sue me right because sure you're using shareholder money. That's the thing about any of these companies american or china based like when they sue somebody you never using a company of fraud. I've never accused a company of fraud in my life because companies can't commit fraud people at companies commit fraud. I'm accusing management of fraud. So what management is up doing is taking the company's money and shareholders money at filing a lawsuit and paying for it screwing them twice once on the fraud and once on you know they're kind of escape hatch right while lawsuits going on their closing out the rest of their position. There get outta dodge jeeze if they had to pay for it themselves. They wouldn't sue anybody now. That's interesting that's really interesting and a good point and something to be thought about from a legal perspective. It's like if you have unclean hands and you are actually a bad actor. You should no longer be able to be protected by shareholder money. Because you've already you've already shown or it can already be shown that you have committed your breaching your for do -ciary duty to shareholders in the first place. How dare you then reach back into their pocket and use their money to protect you in. Hide to hide yourself from alpha anyway. That's neither here nor there because that's just going to get us both infuriated. If i used to be one point. Yeah proves one thing above all the death of corporate governance because who is there to protect the investors and to advocate on behalf of the vespers at any given company and the board of directors so called independent board of directors that should stop the ceo from filing lawsuit and should launch an investigation into our allegations. But there's really no such thing as board governance anymore. It's an old boys girls club. Now and same people same circuit on five different boards making a couple of hundred grand a year plus ten million in stock options to just look the other way and nobody ever holds anybody on the board accountable and these enormous fees that these. Ceo's collect. I mean anywhere from jamie diamond anywhere else. I remember jamie diamond really sticking it to aoc for a great question. She asked about how much she he makes compared to his secretary. And he's like well. I don't set my salary. The board does now. I wish you would have known to say. Yeah like they're all your buddies and they're in your pocket so that's how they set this feet but it happened in china. It happens here and there is no longer corporate governance. This is the jordan harbinger show with our guest. Dan david will be right back..

"I mean criminals in the united states and in china. When i say they usually mean the china communist party sure that look. This is no friend of this show. That's for sure. But i just wanna keep it real because i get e mail from chinese show fans like dude. Why do you hate us. And i'm like well. My wife is chinese. I want to be real clear here. Chinese people are the top victims of the cps bullshit in the first place right. Well i mean as i said we. We taught them the china-based ceos how to commit fraud but on the other hand we couldn't expose that fraud over there without the help of the people the average everyday citizen in china. Who help us expose these frauds. Put a lot on the line to do it as well so there. You're absolutely right jordan. You're there's a huge distinction between their government. Our government neither one of them worth much. I mean ours much better but they're still not representative of the people. I can make the point in both cases anymore. Yeah definitely all right so tell me what happened when you went to visit. Or when i guess muddy waters and other folks go to visit china these factories in china that are supposedly getting millions of dollars a year in revenue and one shows up in the china hustle. And this is kind of like a i. I'd say a typical. You don't have to use that same example if you went to visit your own factories or landfills in kuala lumpur or whatever whatever the example is but i'm curious and i don't know of many people understand. This is like real diligence. That's really happening. Nobody's doing it well. That was our footage from an investigation. We did in china. Hassan that factor. Yes okay that was a real example of ours. This was amazing so we filmed this factory that says they you know they make liquefied gas and an energy then filling them for thirty days as you saw and nothing is happening and then one day lights start to come on and the next day smoke starts coming out of the smoke stacks and then the third day to busloads of american investors. Show up and take a tour the facility with a bunch of rented employees walking around and uniforms and get back on the bus and leave the next day. Everything shutout out. That's happened many times in the past now. The fraud are getting a lot smarter. They're going online. Which is a lot harder for us because we can't breathe somebody server. We can't right. We don't break the laws here in the united states. I don't i don't necessarily familiarize myself too much. The laws in china because that's a floating moving target on a daily basis. So but i do follow our laws and breaching their server. They're here or anywhere. Else is not something we can do. So we spend a lot of time with computer engineers figuring out how some of these online frauds are perpetrating fraud today doing a lot of it. You're listening to the jordan harbinger. Show with our guest. Dan david we'll be right back. This episode is sponsored in part by thera- guns. I've been struggling a little bit during quarantine first world problems but i trained a true in pretty hard. I walk a ton and in my newly geriatric age. I get stiff for several days. Until i can treat myself to deep tissue massage but obviously we're in a pandemic. I'm not going to the place. There's no old ladies walking on my back. Twisted me into weird shapes thera- gun pro to the rescue. This thing is a game changer. It my sore muscles they get rejuvenated much more flexible if you ever get those little. Not so those little. "Watch. Now, there is no state in the union that has been more in turmoil in this election season than Pennsylvania. That's because the Pennsylvania supreme court mandated new districts, not the state legislature, the Pennsylvania supreme court and the United States spent court did not disturb that decision. So they through all the old lines into the trash can came up with their own line. I think that's unconstitutional. But it's what you gotta deal with one of those new districts is the fourth. It includes most of Montgomery County, which is close to bucks county. It's a suburb of Philadelphia. It's got some familiar names like Norris town and green lane in it and Boyer town Potts town. But it is an it's a free for all. And joining me now to talk about that is Dan David, Dan, David is the Republican nominee. Mini for the Pennsylvania fourth congressional district. If he wins, the Republicans decent chance of holding the house. David welcome to the show. How are you? Good. How are you here? Thank you for having me on. It's great to have you. Did I set that up right out of this? Confusion of lawsuits has come a fourth district in which two newcomers are pitted. Yeah. So there's no incumbent here. And it it Montgomery County is the second wealthiest county in the Commonwealth. We have king of Prussia and other large metropolitan areas in Montgomery County, and look at you know, Republicans I take a part of our ethos is to take it versity Nick opportunity. Montgomery County was split the five different districts as it was before. Now, it's all one will win it. And it'll be a prosperous county for the Commonwealth Watson for the United States. And that's that's my dad David tell people a little bit about who you are. And why you chose to get involved because this is not the year. I would have chosen to enter into politics, especially in Pennsylvania, especially with the state supreme court doing everything that it's done. Yeah. Well, you know, look the supreme court has has the right to consider something unconstitutional. And and they did what they did what they don't have the right to do to draw lines on a map that's governing and I felt strongly about that. But again, but we'll take the adversity make opportunity. My background is in financial research. I've I've my firm has worked on fraud throughout the world just may shock you. But most of that comes out of China. You're a war guy. Right. Well, I worked here. It's sorta executive education. I actually born and raised in Flint Michigan for the first twenty two years of my life. We're gonna forgive you for that. 'cause I'm from Ohio. I hope you're not a go blue fan. Don't tell me that Dan, David. Well, I will tell you. The wolverines is my second favorite football team every Saturday, and my favorite is anybody playing Ohio State. Oh, you're so you snuck into you've got past my screeners. You got your campaign manager didn't tell me that. But nevertheless, we'll forget that. Because we got to hold the house. So you've been investigating fried. And why did that lead you to run for office? Well, done to congress as a citizen, and I said, look, this is what's happening. It's not illegal in China to steal from a US citizen. That's ridiculous. How could that be? And it was you know, I understood that it was because we don't have a bilateral treaty, and I don't wanna get you Hetty and finance here. But like, you know, we we have rules here. Among Americans among ourselves south starting out. Feel and in China they can steal from us. There's a trillion dollars worth of their stocks on our stock exchange. Now, you know, we had our firm exposed fifteen billion dollars of a greater several hundred billion dollar fraud in progress, and what I found on there is that most of our federal legislators just don't get it. I mean, they have a very, hyper local sense of government. They know where they're from. They know their district they know their state, but they don't understand the global economy and tip O'Neill set thirty years ago that all politics are local. But in a global economy all local politics are global, and if you don't understand how finance can be weaponized against your country. You have no right to be at a federal level. You know, David I had the secretary of state on Friday secretary state Pompeo who talked about Belton road, and how China is waging debt war on the rest against us. And nobody knows that John Bolton said the same thing. But I don't think one in three candidates for office understand what China is doing with finance. I do this. I I've done fifteen halls, and I did want to get last night and explained the whole thing to people, and they do get it. When you take five minutes and explain the one belt one road carjacked, you know, nominally re the silk road that is that is re envisioned, but it's actually not it's guys is economic and it's actually military expansion. And as an example, they'll they'll go to Sri Lanka, and they will offer them alone at eighty percent of their GDP for deep water port. And when they can't pay it back. They take over that deep water port, and they make it a military installation right off the coast of India. Great. Now, they're doing this on the east coast of Africa. And they're in Jambi and other places they're going to be on the west coast of Africa, which is on the other side of the ocean from us, and it's all military. It was the same stuff. It cold in the in the South China. They should look this wreath building. We're not gonna militarize it. That's ridiculous. Of course. They're going to vomit administrations idea that we'll just we'll just ride a boat by it every once in a while and that'll show them. Well, it didn't. David. Let me ask you this. I am excited to have someone like you running for congress because we need serious people who are experienced with China. But does it resonate at the local level? We're in the middle of the strangest political environment I've ever seen with pipe bomb guys and a terrible massacre in Pittsburgh and people saying crazy stuff on cable television, twenty four seven people look at a Dan David who has a smart experience, obviously prepared candidate. And listen to you or do they wanna talk about crazy stuff? What do you run into? Too much of the ladder. I am working at hard. And that's why I'm doing the town halls. And I am seeing Democrats Republicans and independence because having the seat means you represent all people. And and that's a very gratifying. I wish I had more time and it's very expensive. You know, look fifteen to twenty million dollars to run for contested seat. And it's it's Jerry expensive air Airways in Philadelphia. But yeah, it gets crazy. And nobody's really right on the far. Right. And nobody's really right on the far left there. So far out there what we need is is more in the center more compromise with fellow Americans that that want to push our country forward and understand that that our enemies are abroad. And we're not enemies. We were just people that need to sit down and get it worked out, you know, at least look at the things we agree on. Hey, man, David. But when you go out and do town halls if you've done fifteen hundred talking with by the way, America tune in especially W N in Philadelphia. Anton with. Dan, david. He's running for an open seat Pennsylvania's fourth congressional district. It's going to be one of the bellwether seats. I'm watching a week from today at night to see if it goes to Dan, David, I think it does the Republicans might hold onto the house. That's why I'm Dan David on. It's it's not because I'm hyper local, but because he represents a much broader thing when you go to the town halls, and obviously you're going to get a mix people put up their hand. Are they coherent because I see so much spittle coming out of crate-like at Marsha Blackburn last night during a moment of silence for the victims of Pittsburgh. Some crazy woman started yelling that Marsha Blackburn was a white supremacist. Yeah. My my my town halls have been extremely civil. Very very few instances where people have got up angry and one or two, and we we were able to calm right down and saying look if you're just here to grandstand than say your piece in leave. If you wanna have a logical conversation and work something out for the rest of the country. Then then we'll have a conversation, and it's been able to calm down. But I've seen some of the stuff that goes on on television. That's not what I've experienced. And when I do it's just, you know, I remind the person you're making this about you. You're not making this about the country. And I don't have time for that crap. That's very that's excellent. That by the way, that's a that's a playbook for other candidates because I think my business not talk radio exclusively. But all of media is poisoning politics because they're not talking about issues that talking about stuff like four bullets fired into the Volusia county Republican headquarters they're talking about the pipe bomb. I mean, these are stories, but it's not what congress is supposed to do. Supposed to go and figure out how to stop China from ripping us off. You're supposed to supposed to have the kind of education and background in the diversity. I mean, look he found out in congress. Of course, I want more diversity in congress. We need more women, we need more minorities. I think that's great. But we need more occupational diversity with forty three percent of our members of congress are lawyers. Nothing wrong with that blurs. Great. But forty three percent of the entire body. We need more business people down there. We need more ocupation all diversity understand finance economics global warfare. I have a deep understanding of the Middle East, and the tribal values there how we've screwed that up over the last twenty years and Israel my opponent under understand any of that, quite frankly. David that is that's so refreshing. So I will keep following on the race. I'll tell everyone is early voting underway, by the way, just Pennsylvania early voting. No, we have absentee ballot voting. So we don't have any results coming in. We could see that. It favors as far as like asking for the ballots. Probably fifty to fifty three percent to forty seven Democrats Republicans. But it's all about the turn out. And do you feel pretty good at this point last question? How does it feel to it? Well, I mean, my four pole has dead even. You know, maybe me winning a little bit. But it's about getting the information out regarding my opponents, China business, and you know, making millions off paying people to twenty an hour and asking everybody here to pay fifteen an hour. Yeah. And a British Virgin Islands tax haven where she has most of our money. So literally what's her name repeal Madelene dean? What you said she wants to repeal our tax cuts. She really needs our tax cuts because hers is in the British Virgin Islands. Dan, David good line. Good luck to you. We'll keep checking in as we get closer. Dan, David is going to be the next congressman from Pennsylvania's fourth. If Montgomery County voters vote, they're they're interested in the interests of the country. I really do believe that I want to take a moment and talk to you about alliance defending freedom. Alliance defending freedom is so close to my heart because they protect the first freedom the right to worship as you want where you want when you want and to do it not just in the walls of a church or a synagogue or a mosque or temple. But wherever you want. They do not you don't have to bend the need of the government. You don't have to worry like Jack Phillips of being obliged to participate in ceremonies. You don't want to participate in the free. Exercise of religion is a right of conscience and James Madison protected and our friends at alliance offending freedom protected every day, and we have a campaign underway at hughhewitt dot com..
