"See what the people who are in this every day and they're watching tape, you have some biases because you a lot of times you're thinking about the players who might have done something to you. If they blew up against you, you're probably going to be more inclined to vote for them. But it's always interesting to see where the numbers net out. So how accurate have you found this to be about who eventually wins the award? Because it's not an intended to be predictive. I think more than anything, it can influence some people because it may make you think about candidates you are not otherwise thinking about. But the difference is I think that a lot of the voters and its members of 50 person panel. It's a lot of media people. It's some form of players. A lot of those votes are based on quite frankly, I think a lot of the voters based on what we see year after year are influenced by highlights. They're influenced by what they think and what the media is saying as opposed to. These guys are just watching it. And the executive of the year is always the most interesting one, because then you're voting on your peers. And seeing who you thought got over on other people on some of these trades and things through the course of the year. So the MVP is basically a two man race. It's Patrick Mahomes versus Jalen hurts. Mahomes ended up winning with 16 votes, hertz got 6 and a half. I thought that that was fascinating because that shows you that even though Jalen hurts is having a phenomenal year. He's going to get a lot of votes for the actual award. Patrick Mahomes is still the most unique player probably in the entire league. You can see the rest of the rest of the winners here Justin Jefferson for offensive player of the year. That one wasn't close. Nick Bosa got 17 and a half of the 26 votes. And by the way, the one GM who voted half votes on it. What are we doing? Drives me nuts. He sent me like four for each category. I'm like, I'm just going to take the first two, okay? We're just going to drill this down. So it was just one guy who did it. There were a couple others, but mostly was one person voted two people for every award. Garrett Wilson, that one was close because Garrett Wilson beat out Chris a lave and Damien pierce for that award. They all got Wilson got 9 votes, a lava got 6. Pierce got 5. That was really close. Kenneth walker got three votes for that award as well. Sauce gardener, not close, got 18 votes Tariq woolen had a handful of votes. Another good candidate coach of the year, Nick syriani, ends up winning. That was another one where it was completely split. It was really Siri and Kyle Shanahan. Those were the two had the most syriani beam, got the best record in the league. They've been unbelievable since they made some changes like midway through last season. If you look at their record, I think they're 19 and four since week ten of last season. So it wasn't just this year. I mean, this has been going on for a while. And then Howie Rosen went in the executive of the year over his good buddy, John Schneider. And how he gets votes every year just because of all the different things that he does for roster building. The other fun part of this story, and I know I've seen you guys do this with my draft breakdown before reading some of the quotes. So Brock, but I figured I can't do it because I know who said these things. And so I'm inevitably going to say it the way that they said it. I just want to hear you. Okay. Give me a few of your favorite quotes from the story. So I've been so I've been scrolling this and so we can kind of just go and order, let's start with MVP. So Patrick Mahomes, this AFC executive said, I mean, why not? He's the best quarterback in the league. I'm just, I can feel him being kind of sarcastic like really hurts. Hurts is having a great year. Mahomes has 35 touchdowns. They win. They got a lot of weapons, but he's just so different. And that's it. That really encapsulates what GM's other executives think is, Jalen hurts having a great year. I always feel like this is the same reason that Bill Belichick didn't win the coach of the year award for 15 straight years as you're always looking for the new thing. And again, I am taking nothing away from Jalen hurts. If he wins the actual award, he is more than deserving. But we take Patrick Mahomes so for granted. I think more than any player in the NFL. He does things on a weekly basis that we've never seen anybody do in terms of the types of throws, the plays that he makes in the crunch situation. And the fact that you took away his best weapon for a long time, nothing against Travis Kelce. Tyreek hill is a unique player. They brought in juju and they're relying more on mecole Hardman and they drafted a receiver, but you're taking that guy out. And it seemed to have had a net zero effect. The entire off season. We talked about every team in the AFC west, except the chiefs because the Raiders added everybody because the Broncos went and got Russell Wilson. Because the Chargers brought in Khalil Mack and JC Jackson, who's on top. Who's in line for the number one seed, again, it's the chiefs, and Patrick molds, a huge reason for that. Yeah, and that was the other quote that you had here from a different AFC exec. The games when he's really on at their unbeatable, that's on him. You could argue hurts and Allen, but whatever receivers they row in a KC, he makes it work. And I think he kind of see that. The anonymous quote that the athletic had earlier this year was that Omaha's place too much street ball. Yeah, well, street ball works when the play breaks down and he's got to run for his life and he does that. He does that little flip the jerk McKinnon and McKinnon takes it 40 yards for a touchdown like he's incredible.

"That music at the moment perfectly. That was great. Again, if you're new, we are trying to pick FanDuel players that are under $6000 as an average. We're trying to use up less than $18,000 of your salary. If you're new to FanDuel, you have $60,000 to spend. So we're trying to get you some bargain players, where you can fill out the rest of your roster and hopefully win some money. Last week I had Chase claypool for 55 hundred bucks. I figured someone had to catch the ball with Mooney being out. And Justin Fields just decides to run the ball. 70 yards every other play and not really passed them all. So it didn't work out. He had 5 receptions, which is like, okay, cool. Photos for 28 yards. So not ideal. This week I have James cook at $6100. He is slowly taking over more and more reps in the bills backfield. It was encouraging to see the last two games. It seems like the injury has made it so Josh Allen's more maybe it's just the way they're following their offense more. Willing to dump the ball down and the way defenses have been playing them. It's been open pretty much all year and he's deciding to take it. James cook's or James cook had 6 receptions last week. He's going to continue to get targets. He's going to continue to get some rushing attempts. Hopefully the bills are beating up on the jets and they got to run out the ball in the second half and he gets a touchdown. So my pick this week is James. Going back to your heart, taking a bill. I would say, how nice is it as a bills fan to have a running back that actually looks like a legitimate NFL running back? We haven't had that in a long time. I agree. I will say single theory has the last this year and the end of last year. He's been running the ball hard, but he's also like 5, 6, small and slow. Yeah, he's not he's been better than NFL running back. He's pretty good, but I agree. He's been single theory has been better than I thought he could ever get the last handful of games so this year and some of last year. But yeah, I agree. Just looking at James cook run the ball, just like, okay, that looks different than he's got a different gear to him. So speed is nice to see. Brian, who do you have? I, sir. Well, first of all, last week I said Damien pierce. He did okay. He did okay. He had 11 points, 18 carries, though. They fed him The Rock. Three targets, I believe. All three of the balls. All three of his balls. Okay. For 22 yards, he had 18 carries for 73 yards. So like I said, good for 11 points. This week, we're going Niko Collins on FanDuel. He is the wide receiver 35. So we're getting down there. He costs 5900 last week. He had ten targets and a touchdown. Don't mind that he only caught three of those ten balls. Just pretend like that didn't happen. We like to see those target numbers. That captures will come with those targets. That's right. Hopefully Brandon cook sits again. Actual production doesn't actually count. That's right, man. It's the potential. See, he had the potential, and now he can follow through this week. And hopefully if Brandon cooks sits again, he'll be another target hog once again against the defense. That gives up the 14th most points to wide receivers in the Dallas Cowboys. All right. So hopefully you ignored my pick last week once it was announced that naji Harris was playing because I just completely shot any value that Benny snow or Jalen Warren had. So I won't even talk about their stats because it doesn't matter nausea Harris played pretty much the whole game. To be fair to you before you go on, we do this we record this Wednesday night. So some of the injury information isn't accurate for us. That is correct. And I want to be extra fair to us. This week, we're recording on Tuesday night. So this matters because a lot of things can change from Tuesday night until game time. Thanks, dad. My dad's coming in town tomorrow. That's why we're doing it here. At ruined it. So my pick this week. I'm gonna go to the lions and take DJ chark versus Minnesota Vikings who allow the third most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and we're just absolutely torched by Garrett Wilson last week for 8 catches and 162 yards and could have been another long touchdown that just missed him on. Shark had 5 catches for 98 yards last week, played 84% of the snaps. And he's only going to cost you 5700 bucks on FanDuel. So I think he's a good value pick this week in a game with I believe the highest over under the week. It's about 53 points. There should be some offensive fireworks. And

"I do love what I'm seeing in Cincinnati and buffalo and Kansas City are still it as well. You have to put your marker on one of them for the last 5 weeks. Who do you put your marker on? Chris. Lots of both picked to start the season with buffalo and I'll stick with that from I mean, I really, I mean, I just think they have they have more offensively, even though there's a thin line between having a dynamic offense there in Buffalo and not Diggs just makes such a big difference and I think that defense is so dominant when everybody's healthy. I feel like the cream is going to rise to the top there. And the creams rise in the top this weekend, right? Like the three guys in the ASC that everybody was talking about before the season burrow mahomes Allen. Okay, so bills woke up in 5th place. They wake up today in first place. Mahomes is going to be just fine. And burrows now in the conversation for the MVP. So the cream is rising at the top of some of these quarterbacks and the teams that they quarterback. And I think that's going to be the case with the bills. Josh had a real slump and he's just hopefully coming out of it in the middle of the season. I like buffalo to finish strong. Chris long here on the rich eisen show green light podcast host two time Super Bowl champion right here and as usual Monday spot. Describe for me what you think the flight home for the colts was like last night from Dallas. Man, tough, like, I don't know. Sometimes after you lose the NFL, like there's some losses where you shouldn't even smile on the plane. Like guys, guys will, we move on differently, right? We actually got our asses kicked on the field. So we don't have to move. We have a choice. We have a week. We have a week before the next game. So a lot of times guys will be watching a movie or kind of talking on the way home and that sort of thing and trying to get their mind off the loss. But that's not one that I think anybody on that plane ride is taken lightly. And to give up that many points in the fourth quarter, it was just like an avalanche, man. And you can make it about the colts. I don't know. Did anybody believe they were going to get back in this thing? I mean, they still could get back in this thing. They're kind of where they started. They're a team that should be better than they are and they found a way to lose some games. I mean, they found a way to lose the Pittsburgh game last week. They got their butts kicked in the fourth quarter, actually ended up in victory formation. So I think it's way more about the cowboys and that defense than forcing turnovers. CD lamb has played getting Pollard like everything is coming together for them to where whether or not you think this is going to be a big deal. I'd hope back in junior is going to visit yeah, it's like this team is really rounding in the form if it weren't the fact that I just don't trust the cowboys. I would think they're scary, scary. Well, in the eagles just punk the Titans, though, Chris. I mean, the Titans, as you know, the tighten up mentality is real, not just from their coach, but from their running back and everything else. The eagles just absolutely blew them away. They eviscerated the Titans. It wasn't even close that game. Period. So I thought that I thought the eagles rich had their most impressive win yesterday. And like, I know people would say, well, they had a million penalties. I think that aid offensive pollies in the first half, they had two touchdown drives where they overcame more than two penalties in the first half. I think they had another one second half. And Josh, what jumped offside that led to points for Tennessee and that's all in the first half. So they were sloppy as hell, right? And they still ran these guys out of the gym. So you want to see a team win clean in that sort of thing, but the fact that they came out sloppy, they beat a really good football team that doesn't get blown out often unless you were talking about like playing the bills this season. They find a way to stay in every game. They met they get Jordan Davis back so they can run their odd front and they really stood up against the run against their Henry and the run game a lot. A lot of the same way that did against Jonathan Taylor because this team defensive one complaint. They haven't stopped the run at times at Damien pierce got after him. The Green Bay had them leaky. The fact that they were able to meet that challenge yesterday and the D line hit hit Tannehill 9 times. I mean, they were dominant upfront. They're just a scary team. This was the this was the Sunday where I was like, okay, the eagles are absolutely the best team in the league right now. And AJ Brown is, I mean, it should be like a cheat code. Mike bravo and Tennessee, they should be like persona non grata for the rest of the league because AJ Brown shouldn't be there. He should not be there. We have more receptions more yards than any of the Titans wide receivers. Jalen hurts and him outside the numbers, man. Jalen hurts is a deep ball thrower outside the numbers.

"Bad. I don't know if that was the button I meant to push, but it was a fun little soundbite. You're bringing the noise today, baby, let's go. All right. So we've got the ultra flex DFS head start Ryan. Who do you got? Holy crap. I wasn't expecting to go first. DFS last week, first of all, I want to say, I'm sorry. I let everybody down, including myself. I said, we should start Curtis Samuel. And then he went out and had four carries for 13 yards, no targets. I say, how many targets did he get? None. He played like 60% of the offensive snaps had no targets, four carries for 13 yards. So I am sorry. I don't know what happened. This week. We're turning it around. We're going with Damien pierce. FanDuel running back 23, it costs 6500 Cleveland ranks 30th against RBs, their 23rd in rushing yards allowed and 30th in points allowed per game. Pierce has to be more involved in this game if they want a chance to win and this is the NFL. So I know fans talk about teams tanking and all that stuff. But we have to remember these players don't want a tank because they have to put out they have to showcase themselves for future teams. There are players. You're playing for jobs. Yeah, the coaches don't want a tank. Because they're not going to be around anymore if you lose. So this is a team that doesn't want to lose. So if you want to win, Damien Pearson needs to carry this offense. He could be very low ownership coming up just because he's had what? Three and four points in the last couple of weeks. So people are going to be hesitant to play him. So it could be a good opportunity to jump on that with the low salary. He was cheaper than like Jim Michael hasty. Yeah, he's dropping down in money here. The pure situation, like you said, I think that's why I bills fans are so crazy because when they were in the drought, that's when I'll stop loving you as a fan and as a player when you're going out there and not trying no matter the situation. Oh yeah. Yeah, you don't know, man, the way the toxins have played the past couple of weeks. They look uninspired. They're like one 9 in one or something as a record. Pretty bad. I don't know. E doesn't matter. A lot more than that. lot of pieces. So it might not even be best for them to go quarterback this year. Rob, who you

"Is widely available, still some three -25 out there. And I understand there's some guys that based upon some of these results this season are valuing the numbers like three and 7 a little bit differently. But what I can tell you is. The data that we have is absolutely primo. And in a game with the total at 42, you can actually still see value in the buy two three up until minus one 32. So what encourage you to buy two to three on the colts at anything better than that price. And that will be the best bet this week. Hey, I mean, it's all about the numbers. That's the name of the game. I know there are a lot of folks out there that are detractors when it comes to buying points, but you can not run the math. And when it comes to identifying an edge, you do the things that give you the best opportunity to cash tickets week in, week out in the National Football League or other gambling pursuits. Indianapolis Colts plus the field goal on the buy, the best bet for this week, and we'll hope that Matt Ryan continues his renaissance as people wanted to take him out behind the barn and shoot him like old yeller when he looked like an old man in the first couple games of the season. One thing I want to ask you, by the way, fire away. But it's an interesting conversation because we talked about it a little bit off air and through text message. What do you make of this Texans raiders game? I think it's an interesting game for a number of reasons when you look at the Houston Texans. They haven't exactly been stout stopping the run. So that's obviously a major cause for concern and we saw Josh Jacobs get going in two games more in accumulator stats than anything you would define as overly efficient. Meanwhile, this is a raiders team. I mean, the numbers don't lie. They're not the kind of franchise over the last couple of years, especially with Derek Carr and her center, that runs away and hides from their opponents. They've struggled immensely, especially as favors of more than a field goal. You look at some of the mattress for the Houston Texans, and that secondary is actually performing better than I anticipated coming into the year. I think for football nerds out there watching Derek stingley potentially match up with Davante Adams is a very fascinating dynamic because the card atoms connection hasn't been what we thought it was going to be. Yes, the big plays have been there, but when you talk about receptions as a percentage of target share, far and away has underwhelmed, hunter renfrow hasn't been nearly as big a piece of the offense as he wants for stretches last year. I don't know what the hell is going on with Darren Waller. But with this number hovering around a touchdown, look, I don't love the Texans on the road more than anybody, but I think it's a fascinating game because Houston has shown an ability to run even behind a beleaguered offensive line. Waller still has not practiced yet this week. So I came in initially saying to myself, I'm going to be really intrigued by the Texans and obviously there's a group that nibbled a little bit at Chris yesterday. Yeah, see you in the 6 and a half there now. Then I dug into this just a little bit. And the weirdness of this season and at some point here will divulge what that is. It is all about scheme here for me with this one because the Raiders defensively has done a better job stopping the run than the pass. And you kind of indicated that some of the run metrics for Houston are a little bit phony, right? Damian pierce is just an absolute monster right now. He has been fantastic breaking tackles. You're looking at an offensive line that's not creating a bunch of push, their bottom 5. And yards allowed before first contact. So it's very much the Damien pierce show. And so then all of a sudden, if you're not running the ball here, it's just on Davis mills. The interesting part of this game and why this season has been difficult. We've talked about two high shell a little bit in the usage of it. It's oddly not as much of an increase as people have been led to believe. First three quarters on early downs year over year, it's actually only like a 2% uptick in usage of two high shell. And the Houston Texans had about a team that were running too high shell at a below average rate. And then all of a sudden, against Trevor Lawrence pre buy. Spiked it up to more than 85%, which was the highest rate used, and more than two years. And so if Houston is going to come out with that same game plan, they become intriguing because Derek Carr has not shown well against that type of coverage. I just don't know if they're going to come out in that coverage. And so it really becomes about X's and O's and scheme there. And I was just having trouble assessing that game and wanted to hear your opinion on it. Well, knowing that we only broke down four games, curious to get your take from a football fans the end pointer teams that you're curious about. Is there a game you're looking forward to watching that we haven't covered? Not necessarily from a gambling perspective, but that you're fascinated to see unfold. I would say Cleveland and Baltimore simply because I didn't understand the move downward on Cleveland from 7 down to 6 and it seems like someone smart woke up in late last night late the 6 on the ravens. I didn't understand that initial move and there's a little bit of a battle going on with that total. So just from that perspective, I'm intrigued to watch that game. Yeah, it makes a ton of sense. I guess if I'm thinking about it that way, I have a weird morbid curiosity with Denver Broncos football. So far this season, given how many times you can't do it. Given so many times we've seen them in prime time. Let's see how the jets handle a little bit of prosperity and expectations. I know some prominent NFL journalists have said this team has a significantly higher ceiling. I'll ask the question, have they watched the jets operate offensively? It's breece hall and basically not much else. But hey, full credit to Robert sella and what this team is doing in a rebuild, they just have to figure out if they have the quarterback, they can get them, where they want to go and compete with the Buffalo Bills atop the AFC east. Thank you Douglas has added some talent there. That's the roster's been upgraded. It's been upgraded a ton. I mean, we said that in the wake of the draft, it's hard, you know, it's terrible as it say to swing and miss with multiple first round picks, but sauce gardener has been a slam dunk thus far and is only going to get better. Breece hall has been outstanding in the backfield and when you look elsewhere on the roster, they check a number of boxes. So for the first time in a while, jets fans have something to be optimistic about going forward but I just don't want to see them get set up for failure thinking some of what they've seen the first 6 games will be indicative of how this team will perform over the next 11. As always, I want to thank all of you our loyal listeners for tuning into the show. Again, we do all of this for you guys and I know you missed us last week we miss being here for you as well. "Is the players who are playing the defense that Damien pierce played last week. So I'm chasing, again, I'm chasing the team. So Kareem hunt and Nick Chubb. If you have either of those, obviously, if you have Nick Chubb, you're going to play them. But in DFS, I think that you pay up for him this week. Kareem hunt, like I said, he's a little bit shakier as a starter, but I would put him in this week, for sure. Once again, just because they are playing the Chargers defense. Good picks. My start of the week was my sit of the week last week, who struggled, James Robinson, for the Jaguars, last week was his first bad game of the season, but this week they get the Texans, the Jaguars are 7 point favorites. Which you haven't heard very much and probably the last 5 years. I'm not even sure. So they should be able to get a lead and let Robinson run all over the Texans who, as of this week, give up the most fantasy points to running backs. My sits is strictly, I guess not really sit. It's because it's Christian McCaffrey. You're not going to sit Christian McCaffrey. But I think he was the third most expensive running back in DFS. And again, going back to the 49 Carolina panther game. Fortnite's defense is just ridiculously good. So they are going to, in my opinion, make Baker Mayfield beat him, beat them, and that defensive line is going to be all over him, so he's not going to be able to. So I think Christian McCaffrey has a rough week and honestly it's probably not even close game in the fourth quarter, so who knows if he's even in there? Good pick. My so my set last week was JK dobbins, and that was an oops. He played pretty well. He had 22.3 points. I thought the game script would be favorable for the bills to kind of just milk lead the clock late in the game and the ravens would have to try to catch up and that did not happen, but gold bills would have come back. That was a great game to watch. This week is going to be Zeke going against the rams defense. They've only allowed one touchdown running backs and the fewest fantasy points so far this year. Now, I understand

"Prime time. I know it's not prime time, but I consider it prime time. He's the only game on television. Yeah. Kirk Cousins. He's terrible in prime time. Quote unquote. The heck of a defense too. They do. And are the Vikings going to be without cook? Question about the moment. Yeah, he's played through that separated shoulder before. They probably play him, but he might not get his usual touches I would guess. Okay. My start for running back is Damien pierce. Chargers have shown have proven that they don't know how to stop the run 27 points per game to running backs in their last 8 games. He's gone from 11 carries to 15 to 20 from weeks one, two, and three. He seems to be getting about 60% of the offensive snaps right now. So give me the lead back going against they have to be the worst rush defense in the league. Or at least over the past 8 games, they definitely

"Patrick Mahomes. This off season just because Tyree kill is gone and somebody people think the chiefs will not win and maybe even make the playoffs. What a fascinating season for Kansas City that has juju Smith Schuster and Marquez valdes scantling in scantling and so much more and then you've got the Los Angeles chargers, their last division win, 2009 can this be the year with Khalil Mack being added in JC Jackson when he's back healthy for year two of Brandon staley Justin Herbert has so much MVP talk around him. Austin Eckler and Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and the rest of that offense and defense, the Chargers look loaded in the most loaded division in football. The Jacksonville Jaguars dug Peterson is their new head coach. Or three words. Not urban Meyer. The worst head coaching performance in the history of head coaching performances in the National Football League is now in the books. It's in the rear of your mirror unless I keep bringing it up. Which I planted. But Doug Peterson man, a Super Bowl winning head coach who knows quarterbacks, former quarterback, was a guy who's right near Brett Favre for all those years. And offensive minded assistant and then Super Bowl winning head coach at him to the mix. What will Trevor Lawrence look like? That's about it. That's about it for the Jacksonville Jaguars and how much can they surprise people in win football games? You could say same thing about the Houston Texans because lovely is back. He dad loving Smith is the head coach in Houston and Davis mills, year two have already thinks that he was just kind of throwing in the draft from a couple of years ago because they knew they were going to lose deshaun Watson. You might as well take a quarterback, but he's got some ability, and if he came out this year, he might have been the first quarterback off the board. I don't think he's a placeholder. I think he's their future and I think they're going to play like that with Damien pierce this running back from Florida. Let's see what the Texans can do and how much they can surprise some people. The Tennessee Titans is this Ryan Tannehill last ride. Certainly with Malik Willis drafted in the middle of this last year's draft, Derrick Henry's MVP campaign begins against the Giants this very weekend because how much is this guy going to shoulder of this offense AJ Brown has gone? They've got a receiver who looks just like him in height weight and speed but can trail and Burks be the AJ Brown of this offense as the Titans go for their third straight divisional title, only other time that's happened. "A stardom. Yeah, it's always like he's the hero. Yeah. He's gonna play for you. Yeah. He's 50 50. He's gonna gut it out. It's like, well, you're always hurt. He never plays any fourth quarter 'cause he's always too dinged up by then. I had Brady on here as well, just because he's been in fantasy now for 20 plus years. And everybody's had him twice. And she's never that fun to have Brady anymore, but and yet you're always regretful that you didn't spend two more bucks on him in October. We're like, why don't I take him? For 500 yards today. All right, two more categories. This is a big one. I fell for the preseason hype guy. We're all gonna have the same guy. Oh. He was on my list. I had 7 guys written down for this. So it's literally top two. Bill, it's all of them. Everyone with preseason hype. We all file for it. They're all gonna suck. That's the end of it. All right, I'll go first then. God, there's so many good ones. This ravens tight end is being discussed like he's grunk. Isaiah likely. It's like he's gonna change my life. That's your one year too early. I'm all in. I'm so out. But when you get to that tight end, after you get to like three, now you're just throwing darts with the tight ends and he's one. I guess the model for this is who is marques Callaway for this year. The guy that I think I spent like 15 bucks in one of my leagues on Marquez Callaway, and then you watch him and I can't get open. So I had won and then Pacheco was the other one I had that feels like he's kind of taught to people. Who do you have high fits? I mean, I feel like George pickens is one and then Damien pierce the Texans too. And everyone's in on Damien pierce. Do you shut your mouth first? The hype train is on the rails for Damien pierce. People are on David pierce when he watched him on tape and like early January I was still doing them in new year's hangover and my TV fell off the wall on New Year's Day and deke, I'm getting text from DK about Sami and Peter's highlights. There's a lot of birds. I think we did a take purge in before the drive. I don't even remember. It's like February. And I was like, Davey and pierce is going to be the best running back in this class. And you guys shut your mouth. David pierce is going off. It doesn't matter that he's in early down runner in a terrible offense. Don't worry about that. He's awesome. I made a call before when I said McCaffrey is on my D&D. I am ruling pierce ineligible for the category. Yeah, the hype is warranted. It's unfair to compare to marques Callaway. He's fucking awesome. Take pierce. Don't be scared. Just go. That guy's amazing. I think Houston might not be as absolutely horrendous as people seem to think. To me, it's like there's a little, I feel the same way about them in the Seahawks where there's a little more there than just people going throw them off. They're going to be an absolute abomination. They're going to be able to run the ball. Mills, the one thing we know he could do is just take three steps back and throw a 40 yards downfield. Occasionally, someone will make a play. I don't know. To me, the bears are going to be a shit show. And I don't see it with the Texans because one of the reasons I think pierce is going to be really good. So I'm making him ineligible. Craig, who do you have? Nice. Isaiah Pacheco. Now that's what that's a legitimate one. What round was he Danny? 7th? There's no way this man is playing next to Patrick Mahomes in any critical situation. I'm not bothered. They also just did this fooling us two years ago with Darwin Thompson who they also hyped up who I think was also 7th round pick and then just hasn't done anything in the NFL. He's on the Seahawks, or at least he was until today. I don't know if he is anymore. DK, who do you have? I have to check out. I also had Paris Campbell written down for the course. He's just dictated. I want to believe 6 games. 6 games on the IR pretend. I would like to include as a last minute edition, any wide receiver, not named DJ Moore named Moore. Because there's a lot of rondell more and a lot of lives are more hype. I had a legend more on one of my teams, but there's rondell Moore. Last year, all they did was throw bubble screens and short passes to him and they never threw anything remotely resembling a route. Which was hugely frustrating because I had them on one of my themes, but both more are getting a ton of stuff right now. And I'm putting

"So in the interest of full journalistic transparency, I do want to explain how all of this happened. I was scrounging around for ways to cover the NFL Draft this week. And so, naturally, I Googled Dave Fleming, you're a man with a particular set of skills. Plus NFL Draft. Which is how I discovered flab. That you once wrote and reported an entire story exhaustively. About buds. Honestly, I can just retire now because this is the highlight of my career. So where does the glute gossip happen? How does the butt figure into the story of the NFL Draft? This is one of the all time classics as far as like story generation story idea generation. This is like a decade ago. I am in the darkened hall where they do the weigh ins for the senior bull. The players come out on stage, they get weighed, they get measured, and the scouts are all in attendance, and I'm sitting amongst them. Each time a prospect specifically like interior alignment, especially. They would come out onto the stage, I could hear in the dark, scouts around me, holding up handheld recorders, and whispering into them, stuff like, oh my God, look at his haunches. Oh, beautiful bubble butt. Oh my God, this guy is stacked in the back. This is a 5 star. And phlegm phlegm, phlegm. That is the creepiest thing we've ever aired on this podcast. Well, here's the thing, I dialed it down 40% for you. It was 40% more creepy. That's how I was like, what? I can not believe I'm hearing this. And that's how the whole investigation into this part of the draft and the part of athletics, that's how it started. Once in a while, you get glimpses into how scouts and football teams think, and when you get normally a curmudgeonly old school scout and you ask him about a prospect's butt, they turn into just chatty Cathy's slash sir mix a lot. Look at that big bubble butt. It's a power generator that thighs quads at the bubble butt. Offensive lineman love that. And you know what's great is, I mean, your timing, as always, is impeccable because there is a prospect in this year's draft that, from what I'm hearing, could be the best but in NFL history. Wait a minute. I didn't realize that we were on the verge of butt history. The gold standard was dontari Poe. And when he ran his 40 yard dash and literally on the NFL network, they were swooning and speechless and just beside themselves talking about his butt. And I had to ask him several questions about his behind. And he was like, you know, that's the money maker. That's my anchor. So the fact that there is somebody out there that might surpass Poe in the dunk, I mean, this is historic. Yeah, a flame. It is remarkable, really, that we could be dealing with the prospect who might be at the very top of bottoms. And my first guess would be, is it Florida running back Damien pierce, who is the guy that no less than NBC's Chris Simms, the former quarterback, began waxing poetic about in a way that made me honestly want to lay a track underneath. You know me I love me some thighs and some butts and he's got thighs and butts for days. No, I can tell you that is not who I had in mind. But as easy as it is to make fun of Chris Simms, he's really on to something. In the world of NFL scouting and drafting and expert picks and mock drafts. In a world where people invest millions of dollars and thousands of man hours and still get half their picks wrong? When it comes to examining and evaluating and assessing glutes, that is one of the very few things that actually makes sense

"Of the year Kevin O'Connell 18 to one. I think I'm gonna shop around today. I just, I gotta do it. I'm gonna add staley to coach of the year with the Chargers. And here's the reason why, again, we talked about the schedule. But if his decisions to go for it this year, I'll come up, smelling like, oh, he's a genius. That will take off. And I want to be a part of that. Yeah. Because if they those coin flips on going for 4000, if they all come in, okay? Offensive rookie of the year. I bet I'm 65 and 50, 50 is still available. On Damien pierce, by the way, more glowing words coming out of Texans camp. We're concerned about lovey Smith, but apparently he gets 75. Yeah. And John mcclane was covered the team for a long time basically said if Damien pierce is not in the football field to begin week one, they're not putting the best talent they have on the football field. So Kenneth walker 1601 still available. And Romeo dubs. Now I did bring this up a while back. It's long gone. I would say it's carried away at this point. You can't bet him at ten to one. I better met a hundred to one at that MGM a while back. Defensive rookie of the year Jordan Davis 25 to one I look as soon as he was drafted by the eagles. And they took him in the draft. I love the landing spot. I'm like, let me see what number I can find on him. 25 was available. I'll happily grab that up. Offensive player of the year, Justin Jefferson 20 to one. I could not be higher on Justin Jefferson if I tried this year. I think he's going to have just a gigantic season. And again, the sound bite that we played last week of he's looking at rams film, comparing it to what it's like in camp right now, though connell. He's like, every time I watched him play last year, I was wondering how to Cooper Cup people. So wide open, now I know. Barkley, come back player of the year at 25 and 40 to one. And most receiving yards, Jerry Judy 75, Portland sun 55, just the upgrade here is going to be massive. Going from what they had, they're still really good receivers, and I keep going back to what multiple people said. Judy last year, they're watching film. Why is not putting up numbers? They're like, he's still the same Jerry Judy. He just can't get him the ball. Also, Davis mills long shot 201 to lead the league in passing yards. And a bunch of other baseball stuff from back in March and April, Blue Jays World Series winner. I hate the bat now. Most wins of brewers, no chance. A's win total, bigger bet they're under 70 and a half wins. They're 59 and a half last check. The updated numbers last night, what 9 ten in a row? Yep. Shohei gave it a good run, 25 to one, but he's not going to win the Cy Young. And rookie of the year, O'Neill Cruz, nope, that's long gone. And the MVP dense Swanson 75

"That's also a part of this as well. I just don't think when will Ritter play when will Howell play, I would look at a wide receiver one of the great wider receiver class we had. I could get it. I think it's a good year to be Betty non quarterbacks because then the path here is definitely there for some of these quarterbacks. But I know when or how it's going to happen, the Ritter stuff very good again. I think at some point he's going to get in there. Yo, it's so injury prone. And then we're kind of numbers really put up too. You'll be on a bad team. At least how we'll have a chance where they could put up. He could put up numbers if he gets in there. And then Drake Lenin was hurt for the Phelps. Yes, another person. And then Kenny Pickett, of course, 132.6 rating, but he's got to me again, man, that's the biggest overreaction from the entire weekend so far. Is that this guy needs to be starting ASAP or like in the first month for the Steelers? And I'll run down the path here that I like for Damien pierce on the Texans. So 5 carries 47 yards. Look good. Last year, the team averaged 3.4 yards per carry in 83 yards per game. And at some of the worst in the entire league, lobby Smith after the game quote. He can run with power. He can make you miss. He can cut on a dime, catch the ball. There are some things that he can do well that you'd expect a good running back to do in the NFL. Smith added, he definitely caught my eye in everybody watching him. It's what we've been seeing in training camp. Davis mills, quarterback for the Texans, quote if he can keep doing things like that, it will open up our offense in a big way. And like you said, the depth chart, maybe love years old school, but he's got to beat out Marlon Mack and Rex burkhead birkhead. He can do that. I have no problem with that. I fired on him at 65 to one. And at 50 to one over the weekend. I think some spots are down to like 18 or 20 to one on him, but shop around see what we can find in the guy that I was super excited about on Friday night. They went to him 7 times

"I know. Because mine makes more sense. Well, there's that. Brian you're. Second of two peacock offs. Philadelphia's Dallas Goddard will finish as a top four tight end. I can't say top three because he's not going to beat out Kelsey, Andrews of my boy Kyle Pitts. But he's going to finish his number four. Last year he finished his tightened 8, which doesn't sound that far off from top four, but when it comes to points scored, it was a lot. Trust me, between top four and top 8. But a lot of things weren't going Goddard's way last year. Of course, Zach Ertz was on the eagles for about half of the season, soaking up half of the tight end targets, Goddard was also often dinged up, missed two games entirely due to injury. And as a result, he only saw 76 targets, but if he can get bumped up to that 100 plus target range, which I think happens, all the metrics are there for a breakout year for Goddard if he can get that volume. He averaged 2.2 points per target in PPR leagues. That's an excellent numbers per target for Goddard. He also was second in yards per reception among tight ends at 14.9 yards. He was first in yards per route run among tight ends and he led all tight ends and completed air yards per target at 6.4. And now with AJ Brown in Philly at wide receiver along with devonta Smith, they're going to take up a lot of attention from opposing defenses and of course no Zach Ertz anymore Dallas Goddard going around tight end 7 8, maybe 9, but I think he's got that top four potential this year. I agree with that too. I'm with you. It doesn't even sell that bold when you frame it up that way. Mission accomplished. Our final peacock off. I post to you my fantasy football weekly co host is Royce Freeman, a particularly good running back. No. Is dare a goomba walle a particularly good running back? No, is Marlon Mack, particularly good running back. Maybe a one time. Is Rex birkhead, particularly good running back? No. He wasn't week 17. I think I used him as my take on player and it hit for some guy you shifted on Venmo me 50 bucks. That's awesome. I was like, sure. We currently stop behavior listening. That's to be clear. All of that together, that's the competition. We should put our Venmo handle tip tipping his heart really. Twitter. At BTX J 8 one. That won't be opposed to it. Those are the players Damien pierce has for competition for carries in Houston. He's already running with the first team. Often in practice, Damien pierce Houston, Texans. Now, I know everybody's like, oh, it's the Texans. I don't want any part of the Texans. A, that was last year. Overhauled coaching staff improved offensive line, put a first rounder into the offensive line. I'll remind you of that. And Damien pierce is a pretty, it's a pretty uniquely gifted back. He is a big body back who can easily be built for goal line use. He runs inside very well and surprisingly soft hands in college, they threw to him downfield frequently. I've talked about him last week too. I'm going to keep talking about Damien pierce until proven wrong. Great opportunity for a player who at a minimum should get goal line use and to make official, my prediction here in my peacock off, I predict Damien pierce will finish as an RB two this year, which puts him as a top 24 running back. I'm totally with you on this one, jerk. Wow. All right. That one made sense. So it's not all just not all personal. Yeah, all right, good. Matt, we promised to talk about the best and worst offensive lines. Sure. Tell me, let's start with the best. Yeah, let's start with the best. So I took a look at the top and bottom 5 offensive lines from both pro football focus and football guys I mashed them together. I came up with a couple of teams that you might want to bump up and down a few spots on your cheat sheet. There were three teams that were in the top 5 in both lists. Number one overall on both was Philadelphia. That's Jalen hurts, AJ Brown, devonta Smith, Dallas Goddard, miles Sanders, Kenny gainwell. Brian talked a little bit about Dallas Goddard. He might be the guy who is maybe in the best position here. He's a tight end who doesn't have to stay in and block. He's got the best offensive line in the league. He can go out there. Add that to your Dallas Goddard. Absolutely there. And with Zach Ertz fully out of the picture, Goddard could be looking at a huge volume year. The next team, this one was a little bit of a surprise. The Detroit Lions Lions, you said. Deandre swift, TJ hawkinson, Amon Ross saint Brown DJ chark, Jameson Williams and Jared Goff. Hawkinson, the same way, should be free to catch passes for the same reason Goddard is. And Jared Goff might be operating behind the best offensive line he's ever had. In most single quarterback fantasy leagues, he's not even being drafted. But look at the weapons around him and look at the line and if goth can't get it done this year. Well, he's a backup for the remainder of his career. Yeah, that is probably this is it for Jared Goff. He's got to perform this year. That doesn't necessarily mean he will. You're right. It's true. You make a great case that behind that offensive line with the weapons around him. Golf's gonna beef start able from time to time. If you can pick the right spots, that could make a lot of sense. And if you slough quarterback completely or you're just looking for your backup. He's gonna be a take a chance on me quarterback several times this year. You're right, exactly. And if you've been watching hard knocks, there is a vibe in Detroit right now. I've bought in. I think most people who have been watching hard knocks believe that there's going to be a big jump for the Lions this year. I'll finish up with the one more offensive line that is really great. And that's the Cleveland Browns. Nick Chubb, Kareem hunt, Jacoby Brissette slash QB browns, Amari Cooper, and David and. I mean, Chubb's the guy, if hunt is traded before the season begins, I think Brian said, dearness Johnson probably hops into that hunt roll, but if QB browns is cleared to play, it's the best O line that he's ever had. He never had one like that in Houston. And if it's Jacoby Brissette, I mean, well, he spent all those years in indie with a great offensive line. So we know exactly what we're getting. Also, David and is the last tight end in ADP that I think I draft and it gets scary after that, but in, for the same reason, probably won't have to stay in and block too much. I will mention that the other teams that were mentioned as top 5 teams, but didn't make both lists Tampa Bay who just lost their starting center, Ryan Jensen, probably for the year. Green Bay, both of their starting tackles, David bakhtiar and Elton Jenkins are dealing with some injuries from last year, which we've mentioned a few times. Kansas City, the interior line is awesome, but Orlando Brown and Lucas niang are average at best tackles. And then New Orleans, who came in at number four on football guys rankings, but number 21 on pro football focuses rankings. They lost terran Armstead, which is a huge loss. I know, but I'm not sure who to believe here, but these are pro football focuses rankings of this year's offensive line. Like this year's version. So I do know that their new tackle Trevor penning likes to get in fights. He was kicked out of training camp for getting in fights with his own players too much. That's all. But yeah, New Orleans is definitely an interesting one with chimera, Jameis Winston and all those receivers. So we can maybe talk the bottom defensive or offensive lines a little bit later in the show if you want. Yeah, we'll have to

The first week of the pre season is just getting started, NFL network has 22 live pre season games, including a double header tonight, lions, falcon, 6 p.m. eastern. Followed by packers, forty-niners at 8, 30, then a quadruple header on Saturday starting at 1 o'clock. I've said it before I say it again. It's all right here on NFL network. You just take your remote, you put it on a phone network. And then you take her out and you Patrick Mahomes and you just whip it behind your back and then you just set for the rest of the weekend. I say put it in the disposal. And then turn those. Why would you ever like to change? I like it. All right, so with week one of the preseason already underway, we wanted to take a look ahead at the rest of the games this weekend and pick a player that we're looking forward to watch. So Jason, what do you got? Well, first of all, you guys didn't say anything about my shirt. We talked about Woody Harrelson yesterday. I rocked a shirt. But I am gone with trill Williams, the Miami Dolphins, a corner Byron Jones has been banged up. Trill has an opportunity to step up on the other side of Xavier Howard. Could he be the guy in Miami to be cornerback number two, we'll say. I'm finding the Texans wherever they're on this preseason and I'm finding their rookie running back from Florida Damien pierce because this guy is angry, runs in college. We're so angry. They were actually funny. Watching running ticket and, oh no, my helmets off. You think I care? He scores against them Knowles and then screams and like this is the guy who's squarely on the watch list. Damian pierce of the Houston Texans watch him follow him, look at the hell out of his way. Who do you got, Mike? Give me Carson Wentz in the commanders. Who are they playing? I don't even know, doesn't even matter. I just want to see if Carson Wentz can be accurate because of all this talk about his inaccuracies during training camp and the commander saying, look, he's learning a new system, unlike any he's ever been in before there's going to be some growing pains while once he gets into a live game in the last time we saw him in a live game, by the way. Not so good. So you're going to want to build some confidence. There's Scott Turner, the offensive coordinator. I know he's confident in Carson Wentz. Let's see it on display. This weekend in the preseason against the, I don't know. Haven't looked at it. Absolutely. Well, naturally, I spawned the question a little bit because the Patriots already played last night, but one player I wanted to not only watch this weekend, but I wanted to wish a really special happy birthday to Devin mccordy. I know it's a special day tomorrow. He's going to be with his family. He's going to be with his kids. I think he has some other people in his life coming up to visit him, but honestly, happy birthday. Happy birthday, Devin. Devin, you're one of a kind. You really are. I know. What are you guys gonna do? I'm just gonna hang out. But I think more importantly, it is Danny's birthday. Coming up. Yeah. Two stage manager Dan. Come on, guys. This is a get out of here. I will carry you. If I have to. I'm sorry. Kyle. Yes. It is our birthday. It is start your engines. That's it. He's gone? I'll see you on Monday. The life of the party. Engines. I'm telling you, just wait, we got 30 seconds left. I know. So you want to do a keg stand? My birthday is going to be a blast. We're going to go out. Maybe I can get dev to do some shots or something. Enjoy it. And I found out when pickleback shot is. It was. What is it? Whisky. And sometimes you can just eat a pickle at the after having a whisky shot. Did you know that? I didn't, but I do now because of the extra 30 seconds. I brought it up yesterday and I shaved myself 'cause I brought something up that I didn't know about, which I guess is a hallmark of the show. Thanks for watching. One more time. "Dot com. We're going through a two rounds of a rookie empire, dynasty league draft. And we already did round one last segment. Let's go to round number two. We're going to tell you where the consensus has players going. And then whether or not the consensus is getting it right or wrong, is it player going too early too late or just about right? Let's go to the first selection of round number two, pick 13 overall, Rashad white. Tampa Bay to early too late or just right. Did you know that Leonard fournette has his own flavor of wings at wingstop, which is a hot honey wing? Looks delightful, but that does not bode well for a guy who probably why he came into camp at 340 pounds. Not 300. That's a lot. Fournette's still going to have the job. He's not going to steal fournette's job right away, but everybody at buck's camp talks about Rashad white as he's really almost a veteran. He's mature. He's confident. He's been a sponge just like learning from fournette and for that's really taken him under his wing, so that's a good thing too. They're drawing a lot of comparisons to Chris Godwin and his approach. That always bodes well for rookies. So I think Rashad white might be a touch too low. I think he's got an opportunity. If anything goes wrong with fournette, he's a lead back in an elite offense. And let's remember fournette had all those soft tissue injuries in Jacksonville. They haven't popped up in Tampa to his credit and maybe Tampa's just got better trainers, whatever. But man, soft tissue injuries are they usually compound on each other. Guess how many people fournette has played in his 5 year career? Full seasons? Yeah. Exactly. He has had a 15 gamer in there, but yeah, zero. The last couple of years he's been mostly healthy to his credit. All right, the second pick, on average, the consensus second pick in dynasty rookie drafts in the second round, it's my guy Damien pierce. What do you think too high too low or about right? So I had Rashad white exactly at 13. And Damien pierce, I have one spot lower because I have Christian Watson just above him. I'm like, I have Christian Watson really low. I have him at 14. So it's about the right spot for me, honestly. I think he could easily take that back field and any running back that can take that pack field, take a backfield in his first year. Is it really decent second round pick for a dynasty week? Let me just talk about Damien pierce for a while. And by the way, he fell to me in the dynasty and go get a slice of pizza. The dynasty draft that Matt and I are in. I had picked 16 in the 16 teamer. You can do the math on that and Damien pierce got to me at 16 and I couldn't have been happier about that. And maybe I'll be proven wrong. But a he reminds me and I'm not, I hesitate to compare any rookie to a Hall of Famer, but if everything just the traits, okay? And the outside here hesitating. But you're going right forward. But it's Jerome bettis. A big player with remarkable footwork and bettis for a big guy. People just didn't get clean hits on him. We got a lot of that in pierce. And the other thing about pierce, that's wild is, they threw to them all the time in college. This big guy rumbling down seams and they're throwing 20 yards downfield in the scene to Damien pierce. Yeah, I would say they threw efficient passes. I think he caught like 19 balls last year. But they were good. They were dumb. They were Donald Trump. These were designed downfield passes to pierce. Now he was never a work horse player in college, but that doesn't mean that he can't get a lot more useful. Here and he's the only true goal line back on roster for Houston. Right now, if you've got to say, who's going to get a carry at the three yard line to score a touchdown? It's him. It's pierce. He's the guy, if there's one player that could be way off radar as a double digit touchdown scorer, Damian pierce. Do you know who's going to be Rex burkhead though? Just to piss you off. That's the only reason. That's what happens. It would be. I think James Connors last year is his, it would be a nice ceiling for oh God, that'd be amazing. A bunch of touchdowns, not a ton of pass catching, but some. The third pick of the second round in rookie dynasty drafts Isaiah spiller, sure. I believe that this is about right on spiller, but you have to wait and be patient because obviously Austin Eckler is going to get the majority of work. But what you're banking on with spiller is that Eckler had almost 100 more targets and touches. Opportunities. Last year, they had any other year of his career. And the team may have sunk valuable draft capital into spiller specifically to take away some of the workload that Eckler got it in his been asking for them to have a compliment. And when asked about that, if spiller could be that guy, Eckler said something like, he talks a lot in the film room. Which I found was fun. That's fantastic. With the fourth selection of the second round in dynasty rookie drafts, Atlanta running back Tyler algier. Is he going too high too low or about right? We're talking about a lot of runners that have a chance to take over a backfield and I think Algiers got a great opportunity there too. He's the exact opposite kind of runner as current starter Cordero Patterson in Atlanta. He's young, he's big. He's bruising. I think algier will continue to creep up ADP as August wears on, so right here at pick 16, I think he's actually going a little bit too late. I haven't met 17. By the way, that AJ Dillon league I'm in, Tyler algier is going to be in that league this year. Also, if I get any inside info, I'll let you know we can safely assume you're going to manage to work in the league you're in. AJ Dylan once every show. The league I've been with AJ Dylan add Tyler. Every week of the season. Large running backs in Scott fish's league. All right, let's go to the next selection. The 5th overall pick in dynasty rookie drafts in the second round. So 17th overall, I should say. Brian Robinson, Washington. It's too high too low or about right. I have him much lower. I think I have him in the early 20s. I think he's more of a touchdown only that I mentioned earlier. I think that backfield is going to be two split up. He will get those touchdowns, but they're a lot fluke here and a lot harder to predict that's he's generally not a guy I'm grabbing in dynasty drafts. With the, I think we're on 6 pick. The 18th overall selection in dynasty rookie drafts Alec pierce from Indianapolis. Now we've already alluded to this earlier in the show. He's getting entirely run with the first team offense. He's got running basically unopposed to be a starter opposite Michael Pittman. They'll have Paris Campbell running out of the slot. Alex pierce is fast. And its speed for him also some good contestant catches. He was a second round pick who's going to be an immediate starter in Matt Ryan's got enough left in that guy too. That's 6 three, two 102 tens, something like that. 6 three to 11. And he had a taco. That changed the whole thing. She had a four that wig. We had years ago in early fan ball lore. This is about 1990 9. I would guess. We had a weight loss contest. And most of us were relatively naive on how to win a weight loss contest, but one of our guys had broken the code. So before the way in, he did nothing but drink water and not use the bathroom, front or back for the 24 hours before that. And he comes in the morning of the way in, completely waterlogged in total pain and discomfort. He can barely walk up to the scale. Ways himself and runs to the bathroom. He killed us. He lost like four pounds just there. That's a lot of water. There's a lot of water. A gallon of water is 8 pounds. He at least a half a gallon in him.

"To me, if you go back and look at how I've done that twice before, how Lamar Jackson played. He played better when they had all the tight ends on the field. So let's bring that back. I know you're a little upset with us because we got rid of Hollywood, but I think they actually made it where the game can be better and easier for Lamar Jackson by adding these tight ends to go with the guy there. So we've talked about this before about one of the things that they do and their track record is they double up at positions. So when you go back through and look through their history and you look at the tight end position, they did it with pitta and Dixon, I believe, right? The first hit it. And then they came in first. James Hearst. Hayden Hurst, yeah. James Hearst to tackle. By the North Carolina I saw a clowny plague in search of the game. But yeah, so that's their philosophy. What's a draft that stood out to you? Yeah, look, I think the Houston Texans, you know, we talked about it at the top with stinging green as their first round picks, but I really loved what they did on day two. They went with Jalen Petrie, got some speed there at safety to replace Justin Reed, who ended up leaving. And then you get John metchie kind of add into as maybe a little bit more of your middle of the field receiver. You got Nico Collins last year, a little bit of the physical big, bigger body guy, and then you already got the speedster extending Brandon cook. So I think it's a contract extension for the first time in his career. So I thought that was nice. Then Christian Harris upgrades that the athleticism at linebacker because remember, Zach Cunningham, they just straight up cut in the middle of the season last year. And so he kind of fills that void. I even really liked it. Damien pierce pulling a China chop kind of running back there. He needed a little bit more in the run game production. He had 13 touchdowns, had more rushing yards against that stout Georgia defense than any running back did. In this entire draft. So I think that really helps him in the fourth round. Thomas Booker is a guy that we kind of liked as a solid smart player to be up there on the defensive line. You know, maybe on the interior there for lovey Smith there in the 5th round. So I thought they did real good. If I could just give you a quick honorable mention for Tina didn't have a first round pick that I thought did really well. Three of my favorite players go to the Indianapolis Colts with Alec pierce, jelani Woods at tight end and Bernard ryman at tackle. Yeah, and if you look at all the athletic scores in terms of taking way up there. Big time. That's something Chris Bauer's into. You think about the traits they got very athletic.

"So in the interest of full journalistic transparency, I do want to explain how all of this happened. I was scrounging around for ways to cover the NFL Draft this week. And so, naturally, I Googled Dave Fleming, you're a man with a particular set of skills. Plus NFL Draft. Which is how I discovered phlegm. That you once wrote and reported an entire story, exhaustively. About butts. Honestly, I can just retire now because this is the highlight of my career. So where does the glute gossip happen? How does the butt figure into the story of the NFL Draft? This is one of the all time classics as far as like story generation story, idea generation. This is like a decade ago. I am in the darkened hall where they do the weigh ins for the senior bull. The players come out on stage, they get weighed, they get measured, and the scouts are all in attendance, and I'm sitting amongst them, each time a prospect specifically like interior alignment, especially. It's a power generator that thighs quads at the bubble butt, offensive lineman love that. And you know what's great is, I mean, your timing, as always, is impeccable because there is a prospect in this year's draft that from what I'm hearing could be the best butt in NFL history. Wait a minute. I didn't realize that we were on the verge. Of butt history. The gold standard was dontari Poe. And when he ran his 40 yard dash and literally on the NFL network, they were swooning and speechless and just beside themselves talking about his butt. And I had to ask him several questions about his behind and he was like, you know, that's the money maker. That's my anchor. So the fact that there is somebody out there that might surpass Poe in the dunka dunk, I mean, this is historic. Yeah, a flam is remarkable, really, that we could be dealing with the prospect who might be at the very top of bottoms. And my first guess would be is it Florida running back Damien pierce, who was the guy that no less than NBC's Chris Simms, the former quarterback, began waxing poetic about in a way that made me honestly want to lay a track underneath. You know me I love me some thighs and some butts and he's got thighs and butts for days. No, I can tell you that is not who I had in mind. But as easy as it is to make fun of Chris Simms, he's really onto something. In the world of NFL scouting and drafting and expert picks and mock drafts. In a world where people invest millions of dollars and thousands of man hours and still get half their picks wrong? When it comes to examining and evaluating and assessing glutes, that is one of the very few things that actually.
