"Now, do I think they could win two of the next three games without Damien Harris? Sure, I think they could beat the Jaguars and the dolphins without Damian Harris. I think they could win a wild card round, playoff game without Damien Harris. I don't think that they're going to win divisional round or an AFC championship game without Harris or someone stepping in with his production. Essentially, they can not win relying on Mac the way they had to on Thursday night. Okay, and finally, before we go, I have to hit on the ravens in their two point conversion shit show on Sunday Night. Shall we? If you don't know what happened, I'll give you the cliff's notes version. The packers were winning the game, 31 to 24. The ravens needed to tie it to send it to overtime. Tyler Huntley and the ravens score the touchdown, they're able to make it a 31 to 30 game. And Harbaugh decides to go for the two point conversion to win the game rather than the point after attempt to tie it. They failed to convert the two points and the packers win by one point. And Q the absolute insanity conversation about analytics after the game. Now, the general consensus after the game by people who really understand analytics and the stats people were that what he should have done was gone for the two point conversion on the previous touchdown that they had scored to bring themselves within 7 points. I think they scored that touchdown at about four and a half minutes. They should have gone for it there. And then they had they converted at that point, they would have been able to just score the 6 points with the touchdown at the end and won the game. It obviously didn't go that way. Now what came out on Monday was a video of John Harbaugh and discussing the two point conversion attempt. John Harbaugh essentially asked Tyler Huntley and his offense what they wanted to do if they wanted to go to two or if they wanted to play for overtime. "I don't think anybody is arguing that the offense can really sustain itself through a deep playoff run without the run game playing their best. No one thought that all season when people were saying that they were Super Bowl favorites, it was under the terms of Damian Harris and the run game really being able to carry the offense. That's still in play. If Damien Harris is healthy, that is still in play. If he's not, they need someone to be the Damian Harris. If there is not someone who can do that, who can step up and be that, then, yeah, they're going to struggle. They're going to struggle to score points. But the more balanced that offense is, the more likely it is the Mac Jones is going to be able to make the three, four, 5, 6 plays a game that really stand out that are the difference between winning and losing for the offense. Nothing has changed. We didn't learn anything new about the Patriots. All we learned was what we thought their weaknesses were, are still their weaknesses. And so going into the game against the bills, I still think the same thing I thought after the win. The only difference is, it's a reminder that there's a ton of parody in the AFC and that well prepared coaches are going to know how to exploit the Patriots weaknesses. Frank Reich got a Damien Harris list team and he got a defensive interior that he knew he could exploit with his running back and he did that. Round two against Belichick, would I bet on the colts? No. Especially not in Gillette in the elements. I know Carson Wentz is a Dakota boy and fancies himself someone who can play outside, but I can tell you right now, I would love to see Carson Wentz in some weather with his inability to make it through a whole game without making a bad play. The most dangerous thing about the cults right now is that outside of the intermittent Carson Wentz blips, they have a great turnover ratio. I think they have the best turnover differential in the league right now. And that always poor tens potential deep playoff run. Listen, the Patriots are set up pretty well here. They're going to make the playoffs. Boom, they're already exceeding expectations. They're making a playoff run with their rookie quarterback. They have one of the best defenses in the league. Great. Again, already setting themselves up for success. They have a reliable kicker. Already setting themselves up for success. So can they patch the holes and make it work? Well, look at the rest of the AFC. The bills are fallible, the chiefs are fallible. The colts are fallible. The Steelers are fallible. The Titans are fallible, the holy AFC.

"You'll get one of these one day. You're right. I think that's a good point though about the refs in general. It just speaking to this cold Z because I just went on this whole ten minute thing about how playing his own coverage against the Patriots is probably not a great idea how they can't guard any tight ends and zone, the bats have two tight ends that they could get the ball to. So if Frank Reich is a true game plan coach, right? Then you would expect them to play a little bit more man coverage in this game than what they're typically accustomed to doing. But if you're gonna do that again, say a group of refs that throw the most DPI flags in the league and you're not a team that typically lends itself to playing a ton of man coverage. That seems to be something that could be problematic for Indianapolis defense as well. So I look at that, I agree with you a 100% that the flags could come, but it might actually prohibit them in a way from playing as much man coverage as they probably would want to play against the Patriots. I think that that's really 20% man coverage type of team and they probably would have liked to bend a little bit more 50 50 in this game just based off the matchups. Probably not going to happen if you're going to be creating a holdings and DPIs all game long thrown by the refs and you're not a team that technique wise drills a ton of man coverage. That's how you get penalties. Is having poor and sloppy technique. Last thing here on the Patriots offense against the colts defense, Damien Harris, questionable for this game officially with that hamstring injury. We've been out at practice all week long outs. Obviously, a limited portion that we're able to watch didn't look like he was moving too well on Tuesday. We saw a little bit of extended positional drills on Tuesday. I looked a little bit game B looked like the hamstring was bugging him just a tad. Are you expecting? I kind of, I'm not saying I have any inside information on this, but I do kind of expect them to suit up. I don't know if he's actually going to end up being a huge factor or is this going to be a reminder gaming? Yeah, I don't have any inside information on it, either hamstrings are always tricky, right? So you never really know. Granted, that was a practice, you know, early in practice, you know, when he gets the game, it's 5 days later, can they give him a little something? I haven't fear said it this week. If there's a way he can play he's going to play. I don't think Damien Harris is going to be nonexistent in this game plan. I don't know if I tell people to start him in fantasy. But I do think this could be a big reminder game, but what flips that is, you know, where madre has been better with the ball security. He's been better, but he is still a rookie. Damian Harris is probably if you're talking about ball security solely, Damien Harris is probably the better option. So for Monday, Stevenson puts the ball on the ground early. Now you're talking about Harris versus bringing Bolden and things getting interesting..

"You knew what they were doing. It feels like if you go back and watch late night, I came to Bill stopped covering receivers. They were blitzing 11 players. They were sending everybody. Like some tangible, tangible explanation what you're talking about, Mike Reese tweeted a video yesterday of, you know, if you look in the background on the Damian Harris run, the first guy in the end zone is brand and Bolden, who wasn't on the field. And you see him kind of running down and that's been a little, you know, that's becoming a little bit of a pattern. Jacoby Myers touched down. I don't remember who it was was the first one down, but it was somebody who wasn't on the field. It wasn't one of the 11 on for that play. You've seen it a couple times this year, where there was even one of the big Nick fole field goals. One of the first people to greet him on the field was I think Devin McCourty, who doesn't play on the field goal unit. So this is becoming a thing where the first guy and it's not that the other ten guys on the field are being relaxed when they score. But the first person to celebrate the score has been somebody who's not on the field. So, I mean, it's a little thing, but you pick up on these little patterns, the little things make the difference. Yeah. So I want to talk about Josh Allen and the Patriots defense actually first before we talk about Mac because that's truly how I feel that this game, the layers of this game should be stacked. I think we're putting Mac at the top because that's the hot juicy topic to talk about. I actually think this is almost a footnote in this game away from this game. So the next thing I want to talk about is the Patriots defense, which I wrote today. I thought this was their best performance of the season given all the context, right? Given the fact that the offense was running the football exclusively, the bills had to ample opportunities to drive the football and they were over three in the red zone outside of the Nikhil Harry muffin one play type of thing. And the Patriots defense really locked down when it mattered most at the end of the game twice in the red zone. I want to.

Oh yeah it's the jets but they did follow up with a good performance that ain't gonna give credit to their defense What did you see the defense due to distract herbert In this game it's now back to back years where you know. They've kind of held him in. Check only under three hundred yards again today. What'd you see from the defense. Yeah i saw joe. I saw a lot of You know what's typical of knowing one. And i'm watching his tape against the ravens where they lost. I think. Twenty four thirty four to six Before their bye week. So this is now to Successive underwhelming performances from justin herbert. And i think you know. There's a theme there that The ravens are very similar to the patriots in that they you know they have an experienced coordinator in wink. Martindale experienced secondary and just shifting the looks All the time. And i thought herbert had taking away. Like what herbert really likes to do. the ravens did a really good job and i think the patriots followed suit in herbert. Loves these little slant passes in the middle of the field and It it did not happen very often today. I mean the defense got off to a bit of a rough start. But then they settle down I think that when you look at both of these quarterbacks they finished actually with the exact same stats. And i think it's fitting considering that both coordinators brandon staley the head coach of the charters brought his system with them. Both of them do a really good job of mixing up. Looks snap and post nap to you. Know at least at least make the quarterback second-guessed himself and when you're talking about young quarterbacks who don't have a lot of experience that can really fool with them if they can't get into a rhythm and i thought that happened to both quarterbacks today yes so i get the impression you weren't all that impressed with mack. Jones performance no. No i mean look. He struggled There's no question about that. He admitted that in the post game. he missed some things. This was the first time when he went through that. Stretch right around the end of the half into the second half where he was something like two of his last thirteen or something like that and there were throws to be made there. And i and i and i'm sure on film there were some issues with routes and things like that with his receivers but i think that Mac for the first time in his career my opinion got sped up this game And you and you. I've used that term a lot over the years. Even with tom brady at times. I mean it happens when you know a pocket quarterback who is reliant on winning before the snap and leading that to winning after the snap when they start getting different looks and also mack was getting a lot of pressure. you combine. That and he was. He was out of his element in this game. He was not comfortable really ever in this game he did make some. You know big throws to clinch to gain there At the end so give him credit and saying it was a bad performance. It was just one of those when you go up against a well-coordinated defense sometimes you're going to have these and you just hope that you come out on the winning side at the end of it and he in the patriots did and so you know. I give them credit for grinding out this winter. He'll he'll definitely learn from this because there will be teams down the road that will look to sort of do the same thing. Yeah just the most impressive thing for me. Today was seven play. Fifty five yard drive. Took seven minutes off the clock. Now it's midway through the fourth quarter. Set up that field goal there. I mean you know. The team won the game despite mack jones not playing well. And that's not something we can really so that's happened this year. Yeah i thought. Joe i thought overall to me the theme in this game was basically the quarterbacks and the defense canceled at each other i mean i mean really. It came down. It came down to when you eliminate the the the quarterbacks and then it was dic- there early. I mean early on. It looked like it was going to be an afl game. Something like forty five forty but the but the defense has settled down and then the really came down to the turnovers and the patriots had one kendrick. Born took three points off the board with that fumble Justin herbert through two interceptions and it resulted in ten points. And that was the difference in the game. And i mean i think overall the quarterbacks cancelled each other out so then it was down to running game protection defense special teams. The patriots had a huge edge. I don't even know why the charters even bother putting balls inbounds because they obviously can't cover So i thought you know once once sort of jones in herbert negated each other. I thought it came down to who is the better overall team and That was the patriots in their ability to cash in on the mistakes. You know how sensitive some of these patriots fans can be greg. And i used a god zoellick's words because he said at the regulation as it was wrapping up kind of same old charters and a lot of ways and you talk about how they were on some of the coverage and special teams. Like i don't know how you can't look at this and say look. It was a great patriot win but a lot of ways. Same old chargers right. Yeah i mean you can. You both can be true. I know it can't be for certain people in this fan base but the same can be true. I mean i. I don't know about you guys but you know watching that game. I'm just. I came away thinking like the chargers aren't ready yet. They're not. They're not ready to play this type of mature physical. Don't make mistakes that type of yet to look. I would the other opponent and see who's going to grind this thing out and i just don't think. The chargers gift brandon staley. A lot of credit came in as first year coach. I think he is turning the tide. I think they are better team but I i think that this team is not quite ready. There are a year or two away from sort of losing their charger label. But right now they still have it. They when push comes to shove if if you get natasa with them if you get into a boxing match with them if you're an experienced team and you've been there before you feel like they're gonna fold at some point all right more greg. "The plan was to have a great offensive line, a deep backfield, 12 personnel, run the football, be effective and Mac Jones right now is throwing the ball way too much. For what they are planned was coming into the year. And they're not running the ball very effectively. Everybody wants to talk about the issues with the passing game and the past protection. The past protection's been average. The run blocking has been horrendous. League worst horrendous, right? And they have no production on the ground whatsoever. So this is not necessarily the game where you're going to get that rushing attack. Oh, you know, opened up because Dallas is a pretty good front and a pretty good run defense in general. But at some point in time, you have to take the pressure off the passing game a little bit and find some success on the ground. And they have 20 they're 27th in yards per carry. There are 37 32nd in run block win rate from ESPN. So dead last in run block win rate. There are 30th in PFF grade and run blocking. So whether you look at PFF or you look at ESPN metrics or you look at yards per carry, they are one of the worst rushing attacks in the entire NFL. Starting up front. Yeah, and that starts solely in the trenches. Like solely, right? I think they have talented backs. I think Damian Harris is a good running back. But this offensive line, and I would also throw the tight ends in there as well 'cause hunter Henry and Johnny Smith have him blocked, particularly well, either. This offensive line and these tight ends and this running game as a whole is not good enough for this offense to hit its ceiling. They can not be 27th in yards per carry and get this offense where they want it to go. So at some point in time, they have to get the running game going. And the fact that they're going out there, the last couple of weeks and playing Brandon Bolden as much as they are on offense is an absolute killer to this offense. And it's no offense to Brandon Bolden. But he's just so un dynamic in every single way. And he just basically brings nothing to the table to the point where most of his yards are coming on plays where the defense just doesn't even guard him, right? Or some sort of rub rat or something like that to get him free to get him open. But when they throw these screen passes to Brandon Bolden, you might as well just kneel it, right? Like you might as well just throw the down away because they're just not getting anything whatsoever out of that. So whether that's allowing JJ Taylor to play, allowing reminders to play in the passing game. Damien Harris evolving in the passing game or signings one of these backs to be in that James White Rex burkhead type of role running Bolden out there 25 times a game is terrible. It's terrible for this offense. I've been clamoring for them to put Johnny in the backfield a little bit and try to experiment that way and get creative with their personnel groupings. They don't seem comfortable doing that yet. So whatever the answer is, I don't know, but they can't go out there and they're basically playing tenon 11 when they put Brandon Bolden on the field. Yeah, yeah. I mean, he just hasn't done. I'm not saying that he can't play running back..

"Book for over 25 years. Greg, we got to talk about this, Houston, Texans game. It was awful in the first half. It was better in the second half. I want to start with three things that you feel better or at least good about. Yeah, so let's just start with the passing offense in general, Nick. I did I did feel well actually, let's make number one just the offense in general because I think that I think that they're performance has been sort of undersold. I think that I think that they were efficient. It wasn't perfect and we know this. And we know the deal with the offensive line going in and we'll get to those guys. But I mean, you're talking about an offense, and they are going against Texans, I understand. And I don't just look at, you know, who they're playing and in the bottom line production. I look at other things like, you know, basically, are they executing? Are they executing better? Because when things don't work in football, it's because the players are not executing. People love to talk about play calling in this and that. But they're just really, are they blocking the guy in front of them? Are they running the right route? Are they catching the ball? Is the quarterback making the right decision? So look, the Patriots, you know, get the ball after the defense can never get off the field and for first quarter. They go ten plays for touchdown. The next drive, they go 8 plays and Damian Harris fumbles on, look, I thought it was a crappy call. I mean, I don't know, even on the all 22, it's not clear where he fumbles. To me, he I don't know how you overrule the call in the field, but I'm not really, I'm not one to complain about officiating calls. Before halftime, they do go 9 plays 42 yards getting position for a field goal. Jacoby Myers drops that pass. Yeah. That there was one there was one defender there. I doubt that he scores, but I do think he gets inside, say the 15 yard line at least. And now you're talking about maybe they have a chance. There's plenty of time on. So I think there was like about 50 seconds left when that pass happened. So now you're talking about an opportunity.

Monday night football on day night. Football it is the las vegas rate as coming into los angeles play. Are chargers chargers at home. Get the favor by three and a half talk about the reader. Yeah it's taken a couple overtime games. But the rate is sitting there and defeated at three and derek carr baby beep beep leading the nfl with over twelve hundred passing yards. He's had at least three hundred twenty five passing yards and five straight games going back to week sixteen of last year. So he's playing really good football and he's taken care of the football too. And that's part of the reasons that raise raiders. Have the number one offense in the nfl. at over. Four hundred seventy yards a game. I mentioned the overtime win by. What's more impressive. They've overcome fourteen point deficit in the fourth quarter twice to beat those ravens who one and then the beat. Those dolphins We talk no Josh jacobs peyton barber out of nowhere had over one hundred yards. So that raiders need that balance they need. A heavy dose of darren waller in this thing to the defense is just kinda k the day. This is one of those grimy. Oh school division or games where it's gonna be a lot of blood sweat and some more blood in this one and It is gonna be rockin at the s-o-f-i who wonder now that the raiders are in las vegas. If we're going to still see the mob of raider. Faithful in los angeles dave. But you'll be able to tell firsthand you're gonna be in the house at the so far for this right. That is correct sir..

"Typically. No, and I'm pulling up right now but they're third and a defensively going into this week. And I doubt that what they gave up this past week is really going to hurt their anything that rankings going up. So it did go down a little bit. They're now 8. But there's still a top ten defense in DVA. I mean, there have been printed the competition has not been great, like 2 o'clock Wilson and Jameis are not exactly Brady Rogers and mahomes, right? But they've been very, very good on that side of the ball. Top ten defense production wise. Now, the question that I wanted to pose here and I do want to talk about Jamie Collins, I want to do that as a separate aside here in a second as well. But how much stock and I think it is important because the hallmark to me of a great defense Alex is when your team comes back within one score of 28 to 13, you get that stop. And you give the ball back. The drive in the fourth quarter really bug me because that drive just if this team is going to win football games and turn this thing around, that drive can not happen until this offense wakes up a little bit. And it was the same thing in week one after Damian Harris fumble at the end of the game against Miami. The defense had a chance to get off the field and get the ball back to Mac Jones and hang the field goal up there to win the game, right? I mean, they had a chance to turn that back around as well. So they've had two chances now in the fourth quarter of games to get the ball back to the offense to try to mount the comeback and they failed both times. And ultimately, it's greater than even stop them for three and a half quarters for the most part..

Mack jones played well enough to get those guys that victory they were driving down. The huge damian harris fumble gave that game to the dolphins but that defense is looking a lot better and mac definitely looks part. They were able to run the ball. Jacoby myers nelson aguilar. Looks like he's got some legit weapons. Get those tight ends going. And it's going to be the patriot way. Moving forward and these jets dude. They came up a little bit short in the Sam darnold revenge game at carolina there last week but they played well. I thought there were flashes where we looked at Zach wilson with thought. This guy is a legitimate. Nfl prospect who could be great and I think it's it's a starting point. it's still probably going to be along like a transition along the way but the jets are excited for a change and that's cool all right up next. We have the houston texans at the cleveland browns. Dave don't spit out your beer. The browns are eleven and a half point favorite. Well i gotta tell you the nfl. Schedule makers were brilliant putting the texans and jacksonville jaguars against each other last week because that was a pretty awesome. you know who knew going into that thing but what houston tyrod taylor. The saints are favored by three go into carolina to play the panthers. Yeah we talked about a jameis winston with the five banger. Last i looked great. You know in the past. He doesn't make an effort to go for the ball. And then the blitz pick up thing for me is huge. That's as big. Because he's got to make that block. If he's gonna get playing time on offense, it's going to be in those in between situations where it's run or pass, because that's where rexburg had played last year. He's not there. Somebody needs to fill that role. In theory, Steven since the guy, if he can't pass block, it's not going to happen. So I think it's going to be a little bit until we see reminders even sitting again. He didn't look ready. He didn't look ready for the NFL in that game. And I'm not totally opposed to that, but Sony Michelle is a better running back than Brandon Bolden. Yeah, you can't, you know, people want to I see people wanting to rip Damian Harris for the fumble. It's tough because they asked him to do a ton. Yeah. That was my final point. I'm glad you brought that up because Harris ran the football at 23 times, which isn't an exuberant number, right? It's not like it's a huge number, but he played a decent amount in this game, especially by patriot running back standards. First came out. It was pretty hot out too, and it looked like towards the end of that game. He was a little big gas, and then he fumbles and that sort of in that situation at the end of the game there is is Damien Harris fresher and does that lead to him potentially not fumbling if somebody like Sony Michelle is still here. He's able to only carry the football 15 times instead of 23 times. They didn't have anybody to spell them. That's a great sound too. We played 53% of the snaps. Patriots. They've had players here and there do it, but in terms of a whole season, they haven't had a running back with an over 50% usage rate since legarrette blunt. They don't like doing that. And that's a big reason why they like keeping these guys fresh. You gotta be able to, you know, they need somebody who can spell Harris. I would think it's gonna be JJ Taylor here at least for the next couple of weeks. But you know, it would have been Sony Michelle if he was here..

We're gonna now recap the four o'clock games and the sunday night football game so these games i think we kind of crammed in every single game towards the end because there were a lot of games to talk about so i don't think we're going to have to worry about that as much when we're talking about the four o'clock games in the sunday night game and obviously we do the monday night preview at the end of the show Dedicate a whole segment to that. So let's get right into the four o'clock game so let's start off with the patriots and the dolphin so to a tunga vilo whip honestly didn't play that bad. Two hundred two yards one touchdown one interception and he finished with sixteen point. One eight points jalen waddled sixteen point one miles gaskin twelve point six and then on the other side nelson galore eighteen point two mac jones fifteen point two four and james white twelve point one so the dolphins i mean they really did not play that bad offensively in this game. Wada was obviously their best player. Indefinitely is going to be a how waiver wire pickup if he is available to you way he played and this is a good patriots. Defense and waddled definitely balled out in this game and devante. Parker also had a decent game for receptions. Eighty one yards mile- miles gaskin was involved in the passing game as well mike. Sickie did absolutely nothing. And honestly that's no surprise to me. This guy is such an inconsistent fantasy tied and. I don't think he's the guy that you should start in your lineup. You know unless you're super desperate. This guy is so boomer. Boston tight end. And maybe it's because i'm better because of what. He did last year to me where he had goose egg in one game. Against the jets. The guy is so inconsistent. And he's a guy that. I don't think you should starring your lineup every single week. I really don't but to definitely showed you. Something was more confident. Also at a rushing touchdown in this game he was more confident in this game. And i think that is something that a lot of people should keep in mind moving forward because against the patriots with the full capacity stadium. Really thought to was gonna falter and he was not going to have a good game and he did pretty well. I mean he didn't light up the scoreboard but he played good enough. And you know what i think. He's definitely a guy that you know can be a reliable backup on your team because you know what they have a lot of weapons and this is with our fuller willful or not playing this game because he still you know suspended and he's only gonna only gonna miss the game against the patriots now he's gonna play the rest of the year and obviously he is injury prone. So that's something to worry about. But you know what they got him. They got devante. Parker is shaky and waddell and gaskin. I mean they got they got some weapons there and it's going to be hard for two and not to succeed but played a pretty good game and you know what i expect him moving forward to continue to develop and play even better than that hopefully so now you look at the patriots i mack. Jones did pretty well. Twenty nine to thirty nine. Two hundred eighty one yards and a touchdown damian harris on the ground twenty rushes for hundred yards. James white four for twelve and johnny rauch brand bold stevenson. They rushed to but stevenson really. Didn't play roka's. He had a fumble early on. And then damian. Harris patriots are driving to go ahead and damian harris fumbles and that that was the game for the patriots and then receiving wise james white six receptions forty nine yards nelson galore by reception seventy two yards and the touchdown definitely a guy that can be flex option. Mack jones is targeting him a lot and he was making plays. Jacoby myers making plays john who was making plays. Aren't there. henrietta. Couple of receptions kendrick born really didn't do much but the one reception he had. It was a nice little play that he had their damian. Harris was involved a little bit in the passing game. Stevenson had a reception. I think moving forward Like i said i think nelson adler can be a flex option Again depending on the match up but you know he was getting targeted a decent amount. And i definitely think moving forward. He's probably the number one wide receiver for the patriots. Damian harris i think is going to be a guy that is going to get the bulk of the carries. Now i know. He fumbled at the end. But i think he is the best running back on this team. And james white is only going to be using the passing game. You had stevenson. Who fumbled and that's going to happen during the game if guy fumbles he's to get taken out and you know another guy's gonna get more opportunities i don't think. Jj tailored did nothing today. So think it's really going to be damian harris moving forward. And if that's the case. I mean i'm expecting him to have monster games. Now i'll go into my running back situation a little bit later. But i did end up. Starting damian harris over the andrea swift today and i definitely regretted that Which i will get into. I will go into more depth with that. But i think aiming harasses a guy that you know can be a good flex option can be a solid rb to but you know at times definitely struggled to run the football and you know got a touchdown called back which you know really hurt his production in that game. But you know what i think. He was pretty overall outside of the fumble. And i think moving forward. He'll be good for your team if you haven't as an rb two or if you put him as flex option i think you'll be productive at so before we get to the best game of the four o'clock games. Let's get through the bad ones. So let's start off with the giants. So top performers. For the broncos twenty point a fantasy points for the bra of sorry for melvin gordon twenty point four six for teddy bridgewater temperature. Thirteen point nine. On the other side of the giants. Twenty four point three points for sterling shepherd had a really great game daniel jones twenty one point three eight fancy points decent performance and then kenny golladay ten point four. The broncos won this game twenty seven. Thirteen giants did not play well in this game. Offensively saquon barkley awful ten rushes for twenty six yards and then is definitely something to be very concerned about moving forward if you have barclay on your team. This is a guy that i did not want to touch any my fantasy leagues. I do have him in one. But it was a four man league. And i have a ton of running backs. Jonathan taylor aaron jones and in cook. So i don't need to start saquon okay but if you have saquon on your team you should be very concerned because this giants offensive line is not good and saquon. I just he did nothing. He did nothing in this game..

I actually did think mack jones outstanding and like all the traits that you see at alabama. He's showing off like his pocket movement his accuracy his decision. Making all that stuff. It's showing up. So i think all that stuff is really good however i would say just preseason performances you have to always pump your brakes a little bit because A lot of times you know. They're playing very vanilla. defensive schemes. Playing backups. All this stuff i think that goes into. That's probably why we saw daniel jones. Just light it up and his rookie president. I mean he had like an incredible rookie. Preseason everybody was doing victory shook his head sadly. I can't remember this. Come on blocked it out. I okay. Here's the thing with daniel. Johnston bill mentioned like the fear in the headlights. That's what he is. I think that a quarterback needs to be like a basketball player like lebron like bronze on the court and he closes his eyes. He knows where the other nine people are in the corridor right. A quarterback needs that drew brees. Has that. Tom brady has daniel. Jones doesn't have it with his eyes open. exactly he doesn't he doesn't know where the pass rushers are coming from. Winston like without the upside really like at least james thirty five thousand yards like john's ain't going to do that. I'd rather have mac jones in him this year and with mac. Wanna stay away fantasy wise as a top twenty guy for you. I've been smartly emotionally hedging against saquon for the past two really afraid of saquon for the entire all season. The irony is now. He's one of the giants more healthy players. There's some teams like that this year for me like think. I still like evan ingram. But i think rationing like him. I like it to to me. The texans are complete. I don't want anyone on the team. One hundred out. I don't wanna look at their box score. I don't wanna care when they cut to a texans game. I just wanna be out of the texans business but we're how many stay with teams. Are there for you guests. I think that's definitely one of them. I actually this is probably zigging. Were a lot of people would really excited about this. But i like the browns to me when i when i was looking at like the rankings and stuff like i think odell beckham. He worries me. Just because he's coming off nasc- l. had the struggles you know in this on this team and all that he just hasn't lived up to where he was early in his career. Jarvis landry just can't get excited about it nick chub and kareem hunt they cannibalize each other's production like i just don't like anybody and then the the tight end situation is just a nightmare. I don't know. I just don't really like any any of the browns and then obviously are you getting excited about baker mayfield. I dunno craig. I rode the chubb kareem combo bandwagon last year. Chubb for forty three dollars hunt for and i kind of enjoyed it. There were weeks when i started. Both of them are just like there's probably twenty five fantasy points available for the browns running backs today. And i'm just going to have all the all the points. I'm going to really enjoy it. I i kind of i disagree. Danny i i still think dick chubb. I test wise when. I'm just watching running backs. I still feel like he's one of the four best where you just watch again. You're like wow. I can't believe that god has an rush for seven yards every time but which it would have your feelings on korean. I think probably is like top. Four runningback skill is but it sucks. Because it's not fun to hope that the other running back on the team hurt for your guy to be able to reach his potential excess. Kind of what you need like. Everyone is secretly hoping. Karima sprained his ankle. Or nick chubb sprinkle for the other one to work out. So i don't know. I'd rather probably grab a guy like aaron jones who i kind of think enough with you aaron jones. Week 10 fantasy football rankings: Running Backs
"I running backs schedule running backs derrick henry. It's actually pretty terrible for the next. three weeks. colts ravens colts. They are top for against fantasy running backs. Then it is unbelievable. And this is the time of year. We're derrick henry gets going anyway His last three his fantasy playoffs are jacksonville. Detroit and green bay. So i i'm recommending. My dalvin cook sell high. And we're going to wait until this primetime game against the colts and hope derrick henry struggles a little bit. And then we're going to sell dalvin cook for derrick henry and very good wide receiver. Okay i because he's going to destroy jacksonville detroit and green bay and the fantasy playoffs. Jonathan taylor is. I have a tough time. Buy into this. But has four matchups against teams. That are twenty nine. Th or worse against running backs this week against tennessee. I don't think it's that great of a match up. They've been really good. The last five games against running backs these per carry giving up some points. But they're giving up touchdown they are giving up touchdown touchdown every game tennessee this year. But you know he's got houston he's got vegas. He's got houston again in week. Sixteen might be tough against pittsburgh but the match ups are great. Does it matter. I don't know what jonathan taylor. We'll see what his role is he's got to just he's got to start playing freely and i think that's what the colts are waiting for. I think the colts are going to give him every opportunity to to get there but he. He's splitting the russian downs. Work with jordan wilkins in the hemans. The hurry up back the passing downs back. David montgomery talked about best remaining schedule. And then two teams. That probably doesn't matter but the foul. I guess i shouldn't say that all that. He could be pretty good down the stretch but obviously we don't know if that's going to be the case but yeah patriots and broncos have good schedules now. You go running backs with bad schedules. This one i think is very very important. Kenyan drake. I don't know if anybody is really into kenyan drake but terrific low. You think so yes. Because he's got some very good run. Defenses coming up very good. Maybe he's not such a good bye. I hate the schedule. Buffalo's not good. That's this week. if he's back. Seattle is a good run defense. Their twelve against running backs new england's of matchup. But then after that. So we're talking. That's week ten eleven weeks thirteen and on the rams the giants the eagles the forty niners. That's weeks fourteen. Thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen. Those are four really good run defenses. And that's kenyan drake who only runs and doesn't have any involvement in the passing game so the whole point is to trade firm at the lowest possible price and it's because chase edmonds isn't gonna take his job when he comes back at it sir feels like he'll still have that role that rundown role maybe drake as the guy to go target. If you're desperate for a running back in the next three games not so much for the rest of the season you think this week. He might not even play this week. That's the problem is today. It feels like those games that you're referencing in the playoffs. Are more chase edmonds games than kenyan drake games like. Drake could play all four of those games against her. Three of those games against a good wendy fences and for edmonds might just be better. I think it's four good run. Event is the rams giants eagles niners and the giants thing. They're just about like fourteenth about as close to average as you can be but that's because they're really bad against pass catching running backs. They're not fourteenth in run. Vincent fourteenth and fantasy points allowed to running backs so that does feel more like a chase edmonds game like you. Just look at antonio gives they give us some touchdowns. Mckissic was a lot better than gibson. Even though gives another touchdown i dunno. I dunno school. Fantasy points because of the touchdown. But that's my point like these are good run defenses. So for a guy who's not involved in the passing game at all too scary schedule. I think down the stretch for kenyan drake.
