A Very Special Call From Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones
"Hello, bob and Tom show. Oh yes, this is Jerry Jones. I just want to say I share in your pain. Even 24 hours in the hot tub that seats 12 say black Texas stadium can't take the sting away. What is owner of the nellis cowboys? Absolutely intend to turn this pain into progress. This off season I'll approach the NFL competition committee with the rule that's long overdue. I believe it's only the dad has cowboys when you're that close to the Super Bowl. And you've not been there since Danny Favre. I believe in the sake of fairness, there should be an option to buy your way. That's a good idea. That sounds fair to me. Last but not least, there is an upside as owner of the Dennis Campbell as we have good news regarding our kicker. I've been told he's on match dot com and already this off season he's found miss rat. But his owner of the Danish capital is still so sick of this moment. Hang on. Let's schedule an appointment for me at that massage parlor rubber craft recommend. No, no, no, not under my name. Let's put it under white Phillips.

Dak Prescott played the game of his life when the Cowboys needed it most | Opinion
"AP sports. I'm shek Freeman. The Dallas Cowboys dominated in the final game of super wild card weekend, won their first road playoff game since 1995 in a 31 14 trouncing of Tampa. Cowboys quarterback dak Prescott through four touchdown passes, coach Mike McCarthy says Prescott executed the game plan. You know, the play call and we just really stay true to what we wanted to do in here and I guess I thought he played extremely well. In the NBA Jason Tatum with 51 points in Boston's one 31 18 win over Charlotte. 51 is big, but you know, we played as a team. And I think that's what's been really big for us to use 6 or 7 games that we've been winning drew holiday had a season high 35 in Milwaukee knocked off Indiana one 32 one 19. It was Cleveland besting New Orleans one 13 one O three. Steph Curry had 41 in Golden State's one 27 one 18 win over Washington. Memphis won their tenth in a row one 36 one O 6, grizzlies guard John Moran says defense has been the reason. Once we lock in, you know, defensively,

Governing Bodies Want to Stop Athletes From Betting On Other Sports
"This past week or so, you're banning athletes from betting on other sports? I mean, okay, at what point have we taken this too far? And we can even open this up to the stupid, it's just stupidity of Pete Rose being kept out of the Hall of Fame, okay? Really? The P rose conversation is definitely one to have. Doug, I don't know about you, but I love losing $200 on a Sunday. And for winning $200, I'm not sure about you, but I can arrange for $200 to come to my account everywhere, bud. Listen, I am, I love gambling. I do. I am the kind of person that's like, maybe you should watch him 'cause he might get addicted to it. No, but I do. I really enjoy it so much. And when DraftKings hit because he hit New Jersey first, we were the first to get legal legal gambling. You know how you can thank for that? Chris Christie. I know of all the people. It was like his lasting legacy. He was like, I'm gonna destroy New Jersey for a little bit, but before I finish, here's gambling. No, but in all seriousness, the idea that an athlete can't gamble on another sport, which and I'm sorry, I didn't see this posted anywhere, so I don't know. I didn't know that so they're saying like LeBron James couldn't bet on a Dallas Cowboys game. Is that what they're saying? Yeah, it's something that was. So coach, man. It was coach banned for bedding and it's like, but I mean, the whole thing. Just take it over and say, why is it? I mean, look, I can understand. At least at least the monumental argument. I can understand how you keep Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire and some of these guys out of the baseball Hall of Fame. Okay, if you want to, I mean, hypocritically, but if you want to proclaim that they steroids or whatever. But okay, Pete Rose didn't even bet on. His own games. I mean, he bet on baseball, but it wasn't his own games.

"Then same with sports except for the Dallas Cowboys you call them as you see them And look I'm an eagles guys you know I'm a Philly guy So that matter to me But you're like persona Well that's actually not true I was just hanging out with Jerry Jones on his private helicopter I mean he's going to not get along just great I've been invited to the yacht the whole bit I joke around with him all the time It's been damn palace cowboy fans They get on my last nurse They can go one in 15 months And the season on January 5th at 7 o'clock with a one in 15 season and by 7 15 7 30 this a you know we gonna win the Super Bowl next year right They just get on my nerves They get on my nerves That's all How about our Philly fans Well I love the Philadelphia Eagles fans That's just me I can tell you right now I think they're the best team in the national football conference And I think that pretty damn good I think Jalen hurts is an MVP candidate and I think they got a shot to win it all I really do Well that quarterback's really stepped up hasn't he He special I mean he has stepped up his game He really worked on his game in the off season He's gotten considerably better and I think that he's a viable MVP candidate right now especially since Lamar Jackson just lost his game this past Sunday to the Buffalo Bills and buffalo had lost the day before the week before the Miami I definitely think that Jalen hurts has an opportunity to catch league as you feel

"7 51 A k A L I F Dallas Cowboys overcame poor clock management down the stretch to pull off a thrilling victory over the L. A Chargers 20 to 17 in the NFL on Sunday. Airlines kick it long enough. It is into the net for the victory. Anytime you get a win in the NFL. It's fantastic because Winning this league is very hard and the Cowboys got that win. They did in the NFL. It was a nail biter. Uh, seat squirm, er Yeah, I'm trying to think of other. Yeah, things you could apply to the Cowboys first win of the season. And it's Steve Lamb is here, by the way, is sort of like the opening came down in the last few seconds. That was Greg Zuerlein, who was the goat and I'm not talking about the greatest of all time. He was the goat after missing two field goal attempts the previous week. Against the Buccaneers and a point after attempt, But he was able to get it done yesterday. He lives another week. He lives another week. And he's the guy. I mean, he's he is a really good kicker. Although his quarterback that Prescott was having to kind of watch from the sidelines ago, please, please. Yes, he kicked it. I mean, uh, yeah, I was over there talking to him are checking on tomorrow. So what kind of just trying to get my mind off of it? I guess obviously known in situation like that. You trust your teams, and Greg's are lying to put it through? Um, but, yeah, I mean, it was great. Obviously believing him make anyone did that. It was just relief, right? I mean, the first win first. One of many in the first one is usually the hardest and I'm not going to get into, uh, specifics, but there were some issues with clock management down in that final drive. The Cowboys got it back with three minutes and change to go more time than Tom Brady had the previous week when it was less than two minutes to go, But, uh, Mike McCarthy and I don't know what was going on with Kelly more. Her in their communication. But they wanted to get a little farther down the field and having to kick a 56 yarder. But Zuerlein had with his leg. Greg Leg had more than enough distance yesterday that it could have gone farther that than that, if they needed it. I just know that Mike McCarthy is happy to finally get this first one in the book to come in here and win. This game was important on a number of fronts for us. We needed it and more. We needed to confidence that goes with this wind. So Winning in this league so hard, um so I'm just I'm just proud of the guys because they're doing everything the right way. So I mean, we still have a lot of work to do. His football games always usually come down to the last couple series. Um, this this definitely this one here came right down the last place, so this is definitely one that we could build off and hopefully can, as he said, build on it going forward because now they get to play three in a row at home a week from tonight. Monday night Football. Will play host to the Philadelphia Eagles at 18 T Stadium. Then they've got Carolina after that, And then who comes in after Carolina? Kind of? I don't know You're asking the wrong person. But that is what York New York Giants come in after that, and then they go to New England to play the Patriots. So an opportunity to pick up maybe three in a row. Uh, I don't know. And it was encouraging to see them not have to just put a bunch of points on the board. Uh, winning with 20 points yesterday, something they haven't done like since 2017. They usually have to outscore the opponent by a bunch of points and then a great 12 combination. Tony Pollard, the backup running back to his equal, It goes over 100 yards. Elliott also had a pretty good afternoon but much different name Game plan. Then we saw the previous week. And remember, they were shorthanded on defense to Marcus Lawrence was out with a broke his foot and practice. So he's out. Randy Gregory was out. They are just shorthanded covid problems and yeah, but they get the win and winds are hard to come by. That's a nice stadium. So fi? Yeah, they shared the shot of dairy celebrating afterwards and I thought he's sitting there going. I hope I hope I hope The Super Bowl will be there in February. And remember, he said in camp do anything known to man to get back to the Super Bowl, So I'm sure you were sitting there yesterday going to come back to help you come back, but they get the wind. It's a nice job going out and and that Chargers teams a good team, and that was their first game. Although you you I didn't feel like maybe it was a road game. There were so many cowboy fans there in that side. I noticed that there. That's because that's why they go to arcs. Nod are the time because there's so many Cowboys fans out there. So my daughter is a Cowboys fan, and she lives in California now, so She was ahead of us in watching this. So you were telling me this? He told us, you know about the kick at the end. Before we saw it. So this is suspense. Suspense was gone. I noticed the star on on the reunion tower Ball is lit up this morning. So for people driving in, they can see the giant Cowboys win. That's a cowboy fans. If you're going to work this morning for those of you there, back in the office should be a little extra kick in your step. Well, they'll just they won't be grumpy like they were after that loss to Tampa Bay. Thanks, Steve. All right. Steve Lamb. It's 7 56. Let's get update on traffic.

"You had chris god when he was making plays but he was dropping most to in that fumble is is like at and that was where i thought we lost me too and i've got him on fantasy so i'm like i'll root getting. They're getting those stop. Don't stop mad. I was like why you just go down. I know still trying to get the extra but he is like a you know he fights for those yardage. It's actually very rare that he makes a play like that where he's fighting for your niche and then fumbles. I can't recall another time of that happened. I'm sure it's happened like once or twice but it's not you know. Ball aside from the drops ball security is one of his strengths. I would say but so. That was where i thought that we lost it. Thank god for the defense. Yeah yeah. I thought they played really good. Va of course good. Lord almost every play ridiculous in one play where he liked carried. The lime in it was like it was like what those nature documentaries. Where like the baby monkey is hanging off the mom you know just hanging on by the fire and she's like doing other stuff like Climate trees and stuff. That's what he was doing what he does it all the time. He will carry a lineman until the quarterback. Tackle you with your center. No and you know that one got highlighted because it was really awesome. But he does that like every play. They're saying that alignment was three hundred fifty pounds. He said i was seven hundred pounds. Going attack elaine. Dak prescott was incredible. But he's he's he. He was in that press cuts face just about. The whole game is always jack jack. Was there yeah. Shocked showed up on the stats sheet. Got a few hits on him. Yes shotgun a sacra. He's the only one that got a sack he got a sack at. Cfl and two quarterback hits so he was doing pretty good last night So andrew adams had a Fell and a quarterback hit yet. Nobody else showed up on this out. She quite like shackelford us. Also get a couple of hits on presque. They don't have him with quarterback hits don't have su- with quarterback and not even on the stat sheet. I just find that absurd. This is why hates them. And all the sued tractors. Oh wait a minute. He did hit a tackle and alter how a a quarterback it. Okay yeah he he slammed prescott one time for just. He likes to push quarterback Goldstein had the couple Quarterback hits to that we rebel. I mean he was getting that ball out quick rack. Prescott was not staying back their survey the field. He was definitely they had the game plan to. Let's get this. Just get this ball as far away from that front seven as we can as fast as can have to. Then it's a good blueprint and when you look at our defense like that's that makes sense. The i mean. Our front seven is matched by no other the secondary like okay. We i if you're going to pick your poison that's on picking exactly the secondary so i think we're gonna see a lot of teams try that this year but a lot of teams don't have amari cooper and well i won't let you go down the field. It's it's that hell narok mentality..

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Beat Dallas Cowboys in Season Opener
"The nfl season opener. Last night brady threw four touchdown passes three hundred seventy nine yards and led the tampa. Bay buccaneers game winning drive to beat the dallas cowboys. Thirty one twenty nine last night in tampa bay jimmy fallon put last night's matchup in perspective. The buccaneers are trying to win their second straight super bowl and tom. Brady's eighth after that brady will have to make a bold choice whether or not to become a summering guy who's a big match of dallas. I'm tampa bay in texas versus florida fans from both teams. Were looking at each other. Like thank god. We don't live there. Cowboy's quarterback dak prescott was marvelous as well over four hundred yards in his return from a nasty ankle injury so showed no signs. He was fearless. He was great as the 2021. Nfl season kicked off with a terrific game and yet another winning performance by the tampa bay quarterback tom

First Things First

"Mean after this game we. Kansas city wins. I'm picking them to win but will be looking at the browns. Oh oh they're tough. And i know everybody thinks they're going to be tough already but the browns will leave the game feeling like we can beat them. We can read them and everybody else watching will be feeling like they might be them. They might beat them. So they're gonna play on. I think that will be the statement. But they won't beat them. The browns are an excellent team. But they've they're they're not gonna come into arrowhead and make close they. They were getting beat up last year in the playoff game against the chiefs until mahomes went down and yes. There is a blueprint on how to slow down the chiefs offense. It involves patrick mahomes playing on one foot. that's just a forgotten storyline. He had massive surgery in the off season because he was got injured in the browns game after already being injured prior to the browns game. And that's what happened in the super bowl and have the chiefs have as cfl caliber offensive line. If those things happen you can beat them. Unfortunately for the league. Those things aren't the case right now. Homes is healthy. The offense healthy they have a rebuild offensive line. I the browns are an excellent team. This isn't shade on the browns. But the prior to the super bowl the chiefs with mahomes had won twenty five of twenty six games the beating the chiefs was such a big deal. That the team that did it. I think they're hanging a banner in their new stadium. I know they took victory laps around arrowhead before their season went off a cliff after those victory laps. Like we've seen this team with a healthy patrick mahomes and a healthy offensive line lose once in twenty two months once the idea. The browns are gonna make it close. No you know. Make it close. Jenna teams later in the year when the chiefs are bored. Would that those people will make close and this isn't me being a homer. This is just a cogent emotionless analysis of the team with the best coach the best quarterback wide receiver the best tight end safety and arguably the best home field advantage in the sport and this games in arrowhead back with fans again and a mediocre defecit. Proof guys it's full back here at greg jennings shocking our top story day cowboys down in tampa taken on the defending champion bucks. Last night. i think we all wondered how was going to look right that first game back since since the ankle injury last year since the shoulder injury this year Look the dallas cowboys quarterback silence all of us in a great game rate night. Forty to fifty eight for over. Four hundred yards threw three touchdowns. Now the cowboys falls short in the end but their fans can maybe take a deep sigh of relief that their quarterback didn't miss a beat. Here's duck rush dot after the game. I'll never questioned my health or Being able to throw a fifty times or How it fill out there. I know all the work that i've put in Over the off season Through training camp just everything That i expected to go out there and be able to Leave it all out on the field and do whatever i need to do to help this team or Give us a fighting chance. We came up short Line obviously We fought hard. We fought all the way to that. In the end as a football team they were planned They got us fill. Go right there. We've got to be better situationally In the red zone Defense did a great job giving us chances when we Didn't convert touchdown field goals and getting us the ball right back They did incredible job and We'll get better because of this. One obvious lewis tough Tough anytime you don't. You don't win as assessed expectations for for this team for myself and Yeah came up short. Says all the right things greg i. It doesn't count in the column but can can you call last night on more. All victory for the cowboys. There's no more victories in every player who or competitor who competes against an opponent knows it. There's no more victories. But there are takeaways both positives and negatives and the dallas cowboys have a lot of positive takeaways to walk away from this game with dak prescott being the number one takeaway. We all know what he went through last year. And then even in the ensuing training camp shoulder injury and for him to throw fifty times which we knew. Or i'm not going to say we as a as a as a ball guy a wide receiver and one who knows mike mccarthy and how he's going to look at his opponent yes you don't you want established around but you know what the tampa bay buccaneers upfront. And so you know going into this game. You're going to have to throw the ball. You're going to start a bunch of times and that prescott. It's a credit to him in his work off the field in the classroom. His diligence to be a student of the game even when he couldn't throw the football and preparing himself as approach. This is not an easy task to go into raymond. James stadium against the defending champs and perform the way he performed after missing all of the games that he missed last season and even training camp so the dallas cowboys do have a lot to hang their hat on. However you gotta remember like this is a team that has shown signs to be great offensively but then fall apart in the waning moments of the game. So i'm looking forward to seeing how this can be a stacking of success that mike mccarthy often talks about an alludes to or can it go the other way sometimes. It can go the other way. But i think the dallas cowboys new what they had in back prescott all along and he more than anyone was confident he would be able to perform at the level he did last night. I would expect that from from you greg. You're former player. you still have that athletes mentality. No moral victories. And i get it so i don't expect you or the cowboys or their coaching staff to say publicly. That was a moral victory but komo inside. They know they know now that they are capable of something special. And i get that every team every player even guys for the jaguars are saying we put on our pants one leg at a time just like everybody else. We can win right. I get the optimism after cease and last night the cowboys. I may have missed up. Messed that up. Whatever last night the cowboys sof they can play with the defendant. Super bowl champions. They saw that there were no threat. And there's nothing going on with with that mentally or physically it regards to his ankle or his shoulder. He is back and he is back better than ever. They saw their defense could hold one of the best offenses in the league was weapons. Galore in the backfield on the on the sidelines or on the site is everywhere. There are weapons and they held him to ten points in the second half. They forced a few fumbles on them. So i do think this was a moral victory at the very least the cowboys fans are saying. Oh this year could be different. So yes nick. Moral victory well listen. Who's the most famous cowboys fan. Maybe in america are skip bayless. He i mean he was celebrating after the game. So i do think cowboys fans are happy ish with the result one quick correction broussard. There's the jags players don't have any problem. Putting on pants turtlenecks. Some of them have issues with. But that's neither here nor the more important point. Bert horton point. There's one way for the cowboys to be great this year. And that's have an elite top foreign passing offense. And i think they can. So in that regard they should feel really good and dak prescott. It's unbelievable these numbers if you look at the last five games that he's played in full so the four. Angie played last year before he got hurt in this game. He's averaging averaging fifty bassett tim's bringing in the last.

Well in any case they might just floors. I mean they might take off but the chances that they're going to do it week. One which is very us very slim very slim Their offense i think will be a threat for sure. I mean erase of dak prescott. I think it's going to be a little rusty. I think it's going to be a little ugly. But these guys with their wide receivers that we talked about Gallup amari cooper and Who am i missing. delaware gallup. No but cd lamb cd lamb cd liam amari cooper michael gallup deller. We must galloway galloway. That's a calloway. The guy from new orleans. We were just watching last night. They so they are a threat and I think we'll certainly put up some big plays. I think we can expect that. We're going to give up some big plays. They're mark cooper this. He's out state. He's the best route runner in the league. I think he can do anybody out He can run any route. You know it's good. It's going to be interesting to see who goes up against helm for you. Know a Maldin djamoldine carl davis. Whatever they're going gonna have a hard time with him he's going to get open and that's his thing. He does catch the ball good and traffic. He's not a A big tough guy. He's not gonna catch them on. Run you over. But he will get often. That's the how he likes to catch the ball when he's over but we gotta gotta stay tight on him at you. They'll they'll probably make some plays and maybe even into the run game a little bit but i'm not hopeful on. We're gonna crush them. We're gonna ralph. And i were talking about this last night. Avas talking about the offensive line. How kind of in the middle you know they might be certain. Some backups or dealing with people coming off of like the one guy was on the cova glass. I don't know how sick he was. Or whatever but you know if you're coming off of illness like it does take you a while to recover and get back to where you were. And he's only back you know for a week. I don't know what kind of shape. He's i'm sure where mine mine is where i'm like. Yeah you know you can. It can take some time to recover from any kind of sickness. And so and then you've got the right tackle who he was on. I r last season and he's almost next singers and so there are offense of line. I think could be kind of a liability for them..

This preseason morillas three. Yeah i know and that weird i was. I thought they might just take the final week. Aw yeah yeah see. I read it in a cowboys. Article on dallas cowboys dot com. And they will go. They went you know the four preseason games. Oh that's a typo that's weird. Like why would they in. You know they got that wrong. They need to copy editor. But then i went and looked up on. Espn and sure enough. They had four games. So that means somebody else in lee had of had four games to the steelers. The steelers played the hall of fame game so whoever played the hall of fame game they got four preseason games versus three for home. Yes yeah well not good for the cow. They went four great for them so they had Their opponents the steelers. They want. Sixteen in three cardinals. Nineteen to sixteen. Texans twenty two fourteen and then the jaguars Thirty four to fourteen holy crap by the jacksonville. Jaguars the houston texans in arizona. Cardinals do yeah. So they're they're takeaway dallas cowboys. Fans from this. Preseason is at their depth is not a great okay yeah And especially in particular the secondary but also their offense of line which we've talked about. How bad the offense how hard it is to find good offense of lineups and so that's kinda what they found in the preseason agrees now i know yeah all right so last season they went six and ten and the big complaint or the big reason that they say they did so by was their defense. They gave up four hundred seventy three points which was the most in franchise history. They're rushing defense was giving up five yards carry. And that was the second most rushing yards in franchise history. That was the thirty second. Leave rusty fence probably nobody. Yeah so they They brought in dan. Quinn dan yes. They fired Defensive coordinator coordinator mike nolan. He's gone and they br- brought indian. Quinn who ralph nighthawk devout He was like l. Wasn't he the legion of boom. Saying obviously you wanna win games. But i'm building a championship program. Not just trying to win one. We're trying to win them. All so shannon. You know how I know because he because he squeezed me when he hooked me. Yeah. Nice to me. Breath. Yeah. So if you get a chance you've never seen, uh you know, indoor football, arena football. Whatever you wanna call it in person. This is a great chance. Go see, DFW is best sports team right now. The Frisco fighters again. For more info, go to frisco fighters dot com. Mhm. I've got to get some merch. I like to like the logo. I like the hat that Jonathan was. That was that was pretty cool. Alright, Let's shift gears here from Violence to to to something very Sad but sweet as well. Close code looks confused. Tell me again, what it was you saw on TV about the Florida condo collapse. Um, they were doing a story just about the whole collapse. But they were focused in on the jobs of the dogs. They're bringing out. Did you see this island was a headline news? Yeah, Hln. And then, uh, they're bringing dogs out, of course to search for People in their in their rub Ege or whatever. And then they showed the therapy dogs. People are bringing out therapy dogs. Oh, jeez. And and they showed some still pictures of people hugging the dogs. And then they had this one scene lady. The handler had one of the dogs and the dog's name was cash. It has all the best on Oh, and, uh and he was looking up or he or she whatever cash was looking up. You know this human that human and then stopped at this lady who had her face in her hands Obvious. Obviously, she was upset and Had some sort of family member or friend in there, and so, uh, cash stops. He sits down. And just looks up. As of saying. I know I can't talk. But do you want to hug it out? And like she just happens to, like, open up her hands and sees the dog and she does not say a word. She leans down and like, you know, kind of reads the vest for a second and just Holds onto the dog with your life just gives big or hug, big hug and then, uh, at adding to that the dog then like puts his chin on her shoulder. Uh, That's that's just not fair. What's just like Wow, just faint from cuteness. Yeah, And so the the handler was just, you know, just just watch. Just letting the dog do its thing. Letting lady do her thing. So Um, it was the the lady that was hugging cash. The therapy dog. Was she a, um like first responders, which is like part of the recovery effort with the building. Or do you think she was like a family member that I think can find somebody? Yes, I think she was a family member looking for are waiting to see. You know where her loved one is so I think it was a family type thing, So it really is amazing. The different Jobs that that dogs can can do. So in this one scenario with this with this conduct collapse in Florida. You've got Different dogs doing different things. You'll have some dogs. That will be I think Maybe some dogs can do both. But I think there's sometimes there's a dog that will come in that will look for survivors. Then there's unfortunately the dogs that are better, better known as like the Cadaver Dogs. Yeah, so I think those are typically two different two different jobs to different dogs that will come in and do that, so that's two Then on top of that you're going to have, um You're also gonna have dogs like you mentioned therapy. Dogs are coming in to console people. Mhm, whether it's someone who's waiting to get word on a family member. Someone that maybe survived. That building collapse but also to I think, or even the first responders that are having to dig people out or find people. Yeah, And there was one thing. There was a still picture of a of a firefighter leaning down like he was on break or something and just leaning down just just like spending time with the dog. I mean, that's that's and it's It's. It's so crazy to me how how the dogs Really understand their job. They are just just just they're thrilled into their head like going. Okay. Here's what I do. I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do with them, and they can't wait and And that's It's amazing. It's um One of the most rewarding things that I've ever been a part of. I don't want to speak on terrorist behalf because she does a lot more stuff that are She does a lot more things than I do that are Very admirable, Um Not the least of which is her job. Especially compared to mine anyway. Um One of the most rewarding things that I've ever been able to be a part of was doing that puppy. Raise your thing for Drax. The service dog. Oh, that's right. So And he was for a college girl, uh, with certain special needs. And he's He's a therapy dog. Not a full on, you know, not a guide dog for the blind. That's a different at the different job, different set of skills and all that sort of stuff but having him from a puppy up until he was just about one year old to when he left us so that he could go into his next level of training. Yeah. We still follow his progress because he has his own Facebook page, huh? That's cool, So we get to see the things that he does for his training. We get to see the things that he does for his person. Uh, he's been the global I field already. Uh, So how? I haven't even been there yet. No, I haven't either. But then the dude was front row. So how long of a training so they have to go through like it was extensive. Right? It's a couple of years. Yeah, Um, And a lot of this stuff is sort of ongoing. Like even like the police dogs that we've met up here a number of times. Like police officers. They have their basic training. And then they have their continuing education, their ongoing training as well. So they keep things fresh, uh, similar with, you know with, you know, service dogs. But I still remember one time when We were exchanging Drax, our service dog to go with his person for a while, because Terra now we're going out of town, so we gave them a chance to bond and her to learn some of the training methods. And all the things that we had to teach him. Was mostly the basic stuff. One thing we hadn't taught him, though, when he saw her, just like I think the second time he had been around her for.

"I don't think you have to have like a starter. You want to have guys who are going to be on the field but if they're if they're regular rotational players and they turn out to be good players, then that would that's fine with me. Now once you get past the, you know, the song, Fourth round with each of the success of three rounds, the odds get longer. So if the nose tackle from Kentucky, turns out to be what they thought Dante's might be for a minute and he never was then great, that's great. If he can be if if he can be a 2 down space heater and and help put them in third and five plus great. Then that's a great pick. The, the offensive lineman from Nebraska. I mean you just seventh-round pick, right? What what's the name, right? You know, if he if he makes it great, if he doesn't what they have eleven, guys, 11:00 PIX11 defense, guys, don't make it right off. So right, you know, if they if they get If they get three starters, that would be really good. I'm talking about like, pretty quick. So clearly, they expect Parsons to be a starter. I think clearly that's Joseph to be a starter the other, the, the other corner from South Carolina who they're working at safety. Sounds like they have plans for him to be playing sooner than later and so you can't, you also can't go by what the starting lineup is September 9th. You have to look at it through over the course of the season. But if they get if they get the three starters and four or five serious contributors, then that's a good draft in a year. I'm very anxious to see the receiver from Stanford. They they load it up on receivers in so many rookie free agent receivers and then this kid, he's got tremendous physical characteristics. They seem to be really set at least in the very short-term because there's a lot of teams who don't have the quality of of what Noah Brown and, and cedrick Wilson, gave them as fourth and fifth receivers last year. So, if someone can crack that rotation, or make them keep a sixth one, then that means the guy's been a pretty good special teams place and they've done well. So we'll see. I mean, I think right now I, I don't know how you could possibly give them higher than, than a be maybe a b-minus going in. But that would be based on the questions that that folks have about about Joseph.

"I mean I think that what they did was take off Uh, not only the best corner available but a guy, they really had graded, highly from a physical terms so that's a little bit of a gamble. If it pays off, then then they may have hit it. Big in the same thing with the right from Oregon State. Now that was roundly panned by everyone, you couldn't find a scouting service and that's all we all base our opinions on, who had him going before, kind of late on Saturday and And when I asked some Cowboy Scouts about that, they they had him ranked. No lower. I asked one Scout. I said, what if you had taken him there? Cuz the one thing, the one thing you hate, our is a reached, just a bad rash. Now, if your guy is your guy off and you have a higher opinion of him than everybody else, and you turn out to be right then, you did not reach if he turns out to be good, although you could make the argument that based on what it seemed everybody else's opinion was, you probably would have got him a little bit later on Saturday, but the scouts that I talked to said, no, we think he would have gone in the fourth round. So, who doesn't matter? Who's right, right, you know, he's, he's already fond of comparing himself to Richard Sherman. And what was Richard? Sherman? A fifth-round pick. Yep. So it doesn't matter if the You can play if they're right about if they're wrong about him then that was not good. I loved I Loved You Broke, by the way, the same thing about the offensive tackle and I talked to some front-office guys. And I mean, obviously there's some character stuff that people have raised. They are a hundred percent convinced that they did their homework and Scout Pack that I've read. Since the draft. Not just Dallas Scouts are, are pretty unanimous in saying that. Just from a football standpoint, the guy maybe a black steel. You might be a really good player but he had so many red flags and it was it was just ridiculous and so they were convinced. They both did their homework and that that he was okay. And so we'll see. So now you put that guy with the two corners about whom. There are questions and now you're rolling the dice a little bit. I think that I'm Cox was a great pic. He's I think he's going to be, you know, they've had some really good luck in the fourth round Prescott. I think Marion Barber was a fourth-round picked off. June's was a fourth-round pick. Damian Wilson was a fourth-round picked so I had just got a feeling Cox might be one of those guys. I think that was a really really good pick off the two defensive lineman that they took on Friday. Seemed to me to be ticketed for being immediate contributors situational players, rotation players, who will upgrade them. And I think that there was a big emphasis on having the kind of physical traits that Dan Quinn wanted. And honestly if those two guys, both are regular contributors from the beginning then I don't think that's a problem..

"If you limit them, I think that there is muscle memory that you build with players. You can tell them in a classroom, but they've got to go out on the field and show you that I can react to What You've Been discussing in the classroom and training camp is the best place to do that, but you can begin to see how players react to situations dog. In oth. So I absolutely think there is a value to them, but I'm not going to, I'm not going to get married to him because I think that the situation is clearly trying to push for in the direction of eliminating, all of that stuff sooner than later. Now, they got like almost ten more years before the next collective bargaining, but that doesn't mean they can't push for tweets what you make of the Cowboys draft this year. I think there are some unanswered questions. I'm a huge Micah Parsons fan, so I was all over that. I happened to you have a chance to do the Cotton Bowl that he played in Iraq, and I studied tape of him and Penn State going into that game, in addition to seeing the game and guys, on our crew can tell you. We, we left off stadium that day and I said, can we just get that number 11 and figure out a way to keep him here? Don't let him leave. I mean he's just he's just a beast. He just all he was sideline-to-sideline. He's everywhere. He's he was a dominant player and not just in that game. And so I just think that when you have a great football player who can do so many different kinds of things that you want players like that. My conversations with Scouts, since the draft have only confirmed my feeling about him. So I'm they would have taken a corner had one been available and that's fine. But I'm I am not even a little bit. Disappointed about Micah Parsons, I'm excited about him. You know, they took two corners on Friday, who have to prove ourselves? I haven't heard anyone say that Kelvin. Joseph, physically is not an outstanding corner and maybe as good as there was in the draft, but there's more of a game than just the physical. He made a lot of bad decisions at the two SEC schools. He attended and he now has to prove that that he can change and that he's moved on from those having washed out. Not only on the two guys they lost out on in the first round. But the three or four other Corners, who went after they took Parsons. And before they drafted at 44 I don't know what their three or four more corners..

"Players would adjust to that. You know, once upon a time, I'm going to switch Sports on you. To offer. An example when I was growing up in in a big baseball fan, starting pitcher with his job, was to finish the game. He wasn't coming out after he threw 75 pitches, he was dead. He was going to finish the game. That was his job. The, the the idea of a closer didn't happen, really Very much until Elroy face with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the late fifties. For a long time relievers were guys who weren't good enough to be starters dead then, then next thing, you know, it's a little, a little slower than that but just look at where we are today. You know, if if if our manager is able to get six Innings out of a pitcher, they throw a party and through time that has, that's kind of gone all the way down through the minor leagues, and high school and college. And maybe at a high school. I don't know. I would presume. Yeah. And so, you saw the guys, what the point I'm making is by the time they get to the big leagues, they're no longer expected to throw nine innings, they're expected to hit a pitch count and so, You you adjust to you, adjust to what you've been trained to do. So, when I started covering the NFL, there were six exhibition game, we still called an exhibition games and, and Training camp was there weren't really OTAs, there might be a minicamp but a lot of players had offseason jobs to supplement their income cuz they weren't making enough just from playing football. And then when you get to training camp, you were in full pads, hitting full-contact twice a day for six weeks, so that probably wasn't the smartest thing but yeah and certainly the players hated it but that's what they did. That's what they got used to them, started introducing OTAs and they started backing off gradually and certainly in the last ten years on the amount of contact and padded practice and what they could do. Thursday. So when that, when that 2011 collective bargaining agreement was signed that ended the, the offseason hold out and everybody remember when they just came flown, no. Back into training camp late in June and they hadn't been any OTAs. There hadn't been any nothing. And and in that CBA, they instituted limits on padded practices limits on. When the strength and conditioning coaches, could get a hold of the players, let alone how many football practices they'd have and over the past ten years, that's modified a little bit. I certainly understand the Union's interest in protecting the, the boundaries of the players and, and just, that's even putting aside CTE concerns about from the, you know, the physical body. I understand why they are concerned about that, but I think that you can kind of document when I mean. Last year, everybody didn't suffer, I don't think wage, but certainly the team that we follow in Dallas suffered greatly because of, in my opinion, the coaching staff's, complete inability to adjust to having only virtual contact with their players until training camp. I think, what happens? I think the benefit you get from OTAs even.

"You see that in a f l season where it's like, okay, I thought this guy's could be part of the rotation, because what I saw from him and minicamps and, you know, just year after year. After year, you learn lessons about not taking away too much. In terms of what this team will look like on the field in September when the season kicks off. But more so of building the foundation for What we're going to see this team look like going into the summer and then and then each each piece of the road that's being built. And this is important piece that road gives us Clues as to what what this team's and look like. And it's not like it's a secret, but guys, emerge. You know, expectations change perspective, changes. Some guys start to build confidence and then they roll that confidence into more confidence and it's like drill Cox. A good example is we are a lot of good things about your bill Cox. There's a lot of excitement of your bill Cox and Micah Parsons in particular. Now, I do think that those guys are going to be playing, a lot of snaps for this team on defense. But I mean, is gibril Cox playing over, you know, what is the rotational linebacker? Going to look like right and and does the Plan B pill Cox? It has emergence. Does that start to, you know, fire up a guy like Jaylon Smith coming off really bad year last year, right? Is that now does all the sudden now? He is he in on the competition and and so it's just like to say like the way it looks today. I mean drill Cox's replaced Jaylon Smith, right? I mean, he's going to be on the field of town, he's got all kinds of upside and we and all that's true, but it's like dead. We get into the season and all sounds like what happened to Bro, Cox? I was going to play a lot. I'm not saying one way or the other. I'm just simply saying like this is why you have to understand. It's all part of the process and it's all building the road, it's important. We have to Thursday, we have to understand. It's important for the next thing. It's it's important feeder into the when when the entire roster is that in in on a mini camp and then into the next mini camp. And then into the work that they all will pray individually between the times when mini camp ends and OTAs and and then training camp against, it's all part of that, all part of that and it's not exciting, it's.

Dallas Cowboys Reach Multi-Year Deal With Star Quarterback Dak Prescott
"Salary cabin number for two thousand and twenty one is going to be twenty two point two million dollars all right now. Head dak prescott. In franchise tag again this will happen in a procedural sense but had to cow tried to go at this with dak prescott on the franchise tag for the two thousand and twenty one season. We've talked about this a number of times. That value would have been thirty. Seven point seven million dollars so the fact that the cow is now have him onto the books. We're talking about the value that is on the books in the books. However you want to look at the books whether they're e books or physical books whatever the case may be that value is now twenty two point two million dollars now. I know that we have all said some things about the dallas cowboys but they are not complete dummies. They surely budgeted for the franchise tag value. Because let's be honest. They came about twenty four hours. We think you know. Close to having the actually placed the franchise tag and maybe carried out with that prescott. So the cowboys have room for the franchise tag at the very least so you look at that quake matt that adam schefter was kind enough to do for you. That is fifteen point. Five million dollars that the dallas cowboys suddenly have because they've got this long term deal with that prescott. This is something that we've been saying for two years now. If you do this you can. You can kick this down the road. You can prorate it you can extended you can whatever term you want to put on it. You can spread the impact of the deal out of the signing bonus of the overall guaranteed money out over the lives of the contract so it doesn't hit you all at once. That's the one killer about the franchise tag is that it is fully and completely guaranteed in franchise tag is a one year deal so the value of it last year and dak prescott was on the tag for thirty one point. Four million dollars. The two thousand twenty dallas cowboys had to absorb that value all at once and they would have had to have done it again. Here in two thousand and twenty one but because they have adjusted that they now have fifteen and a half million dollars that they were seemingly budgeting for dak prescott that now they can apply to different areas. Maybe it is a safety. Maybe it's a defensive end. Maybe it's a defensive tackle. Maybe it's you know an offensive tackle. But they want swing tackled death whatever the case may be. We know that the cowboys obviously hold the tenth overall. Pick in the draft. They could go a number of different directions there. They wanna cornerback kayla farther patrick's retain do wanna take one of the tackles and rashawn slater as all this is. This is setting up and this is an important thing. I want you to hear me here and watch me here. You cannot waste this money. If dallas cowboys the whole point and getting this done with thac prescott besides obviously establishing having the best player on your team for the foreseeable future the point in doing this is to alleviate the salary cap space now. And i don't like the term when now if you watch us often you know that but you look state of the nfc east. It is by sudha. I mean the philadelphia. Eagles are a disaster. The new york giants doping daniel jones is legitimate. The washington football team has a great team but is void of the most important position of the game and a quarterback. Maybe they'd get somebody this cycle as we all expect quarterbacks to change teams at a higher rate than usual but the case in point is at the dallas cowboys are now. We're going to see this all day on tuesday by the way and we'll talk about it of course but they're going to be overwhelming favorites to win the nfc streit and you think about the conference that they plan is really a contender in the nfc. And i mean that with all due respect to the reigning champion tampa bay buccaneers. But you've got the bucks you've got the green bay packers and then who scares you. May maybe the rams you believe in matthew stafford but the point is thinking about the afc. I mean the. Afc has the bills and the ravens and the chiefs and the titans and the steelers and the browns. I mean you could go. A number of different ways. Did the colts have carson. Wentz ends up getting his act together and so the cowboys play in the weakest division in the weaker conference and so now they have this opportunity to really kind of take their future in the here and now they have fifteen and a half million dollars that they weren't necessarily planning on having use it and if they don't use it it is all for not so i mean we are all imploring the dallas cowboys to ultimately use this salary cap space. This is a very very very luxurious gift. That they now have been afforded that they didn't previously have so shattered of course to the dallas cowboys. Let's see here let's move. I'm i wanna talk of course about the bonus the dak prescott because well. It's stupid large. I mean it's amazing. Dak prescott has now the largest signing bonus in the nfl. You look at joe flacco. Once upon a time. Got forty million. Dollars matt ryan forty six and a half. Remember if you're on the fence about this value. We've talked about this before as well. Matt ryan became the first quarterback in nfl history to average over. He had thirty but to average at least thirty million dollars per year with his new contract that he signed with the atlanta falcons in two thousand and eighteen. That was three years ago. Dak prescott signed a four six year. Deal whatever you wanna call it. That was three years ago. They matt ryan signed that he was the first quarterback to hit the thirty million dollars a year. Mark prescott just hit forty but the reality and we've been saying this forever is that there are so many deals coming around the bend. Josh allens gotta get paid. Lamar jackson's gotta get paid. Baker mayfield's got to get paid extra calories. He's going to get paid the year after that. It's going to be time for joe burrow to finally get paid and when all of those players get paid this forty million dollars a year. Mark the dak prescott got this one hundred twenty six million dollar. Total guaranteed is sixty six million dollar signing bonus all these things that are currently the top of the nfl. The most in nfl history. That's the verbiage in determining that you're hearing associated with this and it's all literally true but it's all going to get pushed down because all of these players on this list. Joe flacco matt ryan matthew stafford at fifty million signing bonus. Aaron rodgers fifty. Seven and a half russell wilson not going to be a dallas cowboy now by the way sixty five million dollars. Dak prescott topped that all of these quarterbacks in all likelihood we'll top that that's the reality of the nfl things are always moving in one direction. It is up

No Hype for 2021 Cowboys without Dak
"News this week is on the way boys hype video that came out after the Superbowl and it's like any other video. It's Cool at times corny at times and probably doesn't need to exist. But if you missed it, you didn't miss much. Here's just a sampling of the audio from it to start a team built on tradition that tradition lasted tenacity in our fiber has that means ignore the critics embrace the love but most importantly in order to win we have to work. Let's go. Okay and you know, you see various highlights of the Cowboys and I mean, it's corny right kids start school like cool nice history trophies Emmitt Smith Michael Irvin cool, then it's like we got a work I just in sports. I mean Don't tell you what the labor show me the baby, you know, I don't care that you're like everybody's working. Everybody's working. Everybody's trying to get better. Right the way you show that is on the field now I get it try to create content and make videos MOBA. It's just corny. The big issue is Dak Prescott it the protectors Dak Prescott is not in the video. It says next season starts now hashtag Dallas Cowboys hashtag Kelly station blah blah blah blah. There's no Dak Prescott. So you're telling me you're you made a hype video for the 2021 season and it does include your quarterback. There's no hype for a season without a quarterback. Let's just be clear there. No hype for season without a quarterback. So there's really no video. No, hype no nothing even have a quarterback. So like, you know, I mean some people have taken this to be like, oh contract negotiations Pub song Bad Blood, you know Derek Eagleton who runs the Cowboys be Department. You know he tweeted about it. He says this was simply an oversight that should have been caught and corrected by us. Anyone who's making it seem like Cowboys decision-makers use social media videos to make statements doesn't understand or take the time to understand how it works. Trust me. There's no story here, which I mean that's I get it and it makes sense but it also doesn't make sense. It just makes us sense. It makes no sense that. They made a High video and a bunch of people watched it all work for the Dallas Cowboys and nobody was like, you know, there's I hate to be the this guy but I don't see number four in there at home. He's pretty visible player very much the news had an injury this year. I mean, maybe they just pulled, you know, maybe they're trying to pull highlights in the end of the season. I don't I mean I'm not suggesting. Like that, this is a shot at Dak or it's a you know, it's it's a it's on contract negotiations. I just don't think this could be an oversight. Like I don't know how else to say it. I don't think it it's I just I don't know. It's just a it's not a set like I get that it's not vindictive and it's not I I totally think that that's true. I just don't understand. How it's possible that you could work for the Dallas Cowboys and watch that and there's lots of people that had to watch that video before it's made public and be like, there's no Dak in there. Somebody had to say something. I'm up buying. Nobody said anything. So and if you can't Here's a thought. Let's say we can he's under contract. He's not he's out of the country with the Cowboys. So we can't we can't include him that might be the reason it's perfect. Probably the reason the don't do a home video

"Ben Ruffles burger was this year? He was ranked one behind Mitch Travis Key. Do you know what I mean? Like when Mitch his name comes up? It's usually a measuring stick of badness. Somebody will sign him. I'm not saying he's unsigned herbal. He'll stay in this league for better than 10 years. When the salary cap is decreasing the way it is, and there are other quarterbacks available via different Avenues. I just don't know what the market for Mitch is going to be. Just I mean, I'll be very interested to find out. I had another thought to you for is for in terms of quarterbacks as well. Like Sean wants is number one for me of a guy that may be available. Number two is Dak Prescott. Don't believe that the Dallas Cowboys will part company with that Prescott. The deck. Prescott would be second for me. But I I'm one of these guys that just believes that the legacy of the legend of Dak Prescott Is not The same as the reality of that Prescott like I don't think Dak Prescott, the romance that exists with back as Your next quarterback like he's not too Shawn Watson. He's the guy I would take after to Shawn Watson, But like Dak Prescott, I hear a lot of people talk about Doc is, as you know, almost into Sean Watson's camp. Deck Press God Is a little bit younger and a little more accomplished statistically than Derek Carr. That press cuts had one year he's had more than 23 touchdown passes, and he's only had one year where he had more than 3800 passing yards. I got like Jack and Jack would be second for me. Right? Dak is nowhere close. In my opinion in the dish on Watson cattle, I think, you know. No, I I know I'm one point he's not watching. Absolutely not. I'm with you on that. I think you underrate what Doc was trending too. Like you said, Hey, he's only in one year above 23 touchdowns. But besides the 30 touchdown season and 4900 yards season in which his quarterback rating was 199.7 Like the other touchdown years were 23 22 22. Do you know what I mean? Okay. I mean, well, you would, too. You just said the other day you would take care of all right? Well, I just I just told you that I take back ahead of everyone other than Shawn Watson. But I don't think Dax in the same category with some of these other elite guys or Bumping up against that elite group. And you may be right what you saw in 2000 and 19. Maybe the preview of greatness to come and deck Prescott. Let's not forget what he was trending before the injury. Now you have an injury question. But he played five games and he threw for nearly 2000 yards. What's that on pace for? You know, he was nine touchdowns, four interceptions that this year was trending to be. It's on pace for 27 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. More than that, because that was an on Lee. Not even a full five games because he got hurt in his fifth game, right? So 3 30 14 right. You like that's a building block quarter. I did not say he wasn't but I'm just suggesting to you that like If you think I'm I just don't Don't put him in that class baby. He will eventually get there and he's needs 27 will be 28. When this season begins, he's had quarterback writings of one of 4.9 86 6 96 9 99 7 99. Derek Carr's been one on one on one and one No. One the last two years. That's pretty consistent, though. It's always one on one and one on 1 94 901 on one and one on one. All I'm saying is I don't want to get into a pissing contest about talking down back. I just don't. I believe he's in a different class. Jerry Jones on the line line one over here, Sean watching. I think to Shawn Watson is over here. Oh, of course. Yeah. Again. I am telling you That of the guys who are out there that I'm willing to overpaid for. There are 21 is Watson. One is Prescott. I'm with you. I'm just telling you that I don't have the same starry eyes. For Prescott the way I do for this, Shawn Watson like a future, I think I think Jack Prescott, the legend of Dak Prescott is also enhanced by Look. They're on ESPN every single day. And the Dallas Cowboys are the Dallas Cowboys. Look, he's been behind one of the best offensive lines in football for five years. I've had a good running game. He's had weapons. He's a good, good, really good quarterback. Right? I still think there is a significant drop off from two Shawn Watson to Dak Prescott. In my opinion, all right, 3123323776, and then I want to get to the Allen Robinson crop of wide receivers. He is ranked number one on the wide outs, and I want to get to that next. If Alan Robinson were to walk If they're like, okay, we're not We don't We can't even franchise you because that's going to hurt us too much for the one year salary in a year that the caps going down And I hope Alan Robinson is here and they can't come to an agreement are their replacements. I want to go through some of these wide receivers. That may interest you. If you want to talk. Some bears were gassed. Free the rest of the way. Plenty of room for you If you wanted to talk about the Hawks, who play tonight, If you wanted to talk about the Bulls, who played last night, any baseball that's on your mind? Now is the time to get in 312. 3323776,.

And i haven't gone home. Is everybody that. I gotta go to dallas week. They say training camp start. Next week begins like a week. I don't know what i'm building that student is you'd be like the nfl. I will not catching on even though we had one hundred question tests to take in. The nfl and learn from fans would have big deal. The dallas cowboys cheerleaders were. I was able to embrace it. Take to heart. What platform ahead at that point in the ma everything to me and my sisters were able to come see me. I'm i wasn't by myself but it wasn't being very active with dallas cowboys cheerleaders and a big part of who i am in my life. Yes and this is a really big deal from the charity. Work they do Ask for the troops and things of that nature overseas so it's a lot to be dallas cowboys. Cheerleader for me in adult figures solid. "Scott i guess i could get up to ask gary i mean does this stop. Go up at this point. Yeah i mean. I think the cowboys assume what life is like without you know you look at what happened in washington. They drafted dwayne haskins yet. A couple of good games as a rookie. They thought maybe this is our guy. Now ron rivera looked at him in the in the meeting rooms for the last six weeks it was like you know what this guy doesn't care about football he's gone. We don't ever young quarterback. But i don't care he's gone. I think the cowboys can look at that and say these first round. Quarterbacks are crap shoots and they know what they have in twenty six-year-old dak. I don't see that there's any way that a long term deal doesn't get done this offseason. I'll be shocked. I don't think it's given i could see them franchising him another year old. I could see that happening now. Do i want that to happen. No i i think i want him back with the long term deal just so he doesn't have that insecurity of looking over your shoulder worrying about land i could see management franchising him another year just to make sure he comes back hundred at the deadline that he came in and tried to get the deal done with just didn't have enough time to finish but i don't think there's any way is there a one percent chance maybe some it's not unequivocal. So you're telling me. There's a chance. But i will be on the floor. Shocked deal this year and it wouldn't surprise me for them to announce a deal during super bowl week because jerry loves him. Some hairiness doing that. Let's go what are you optimistic about next year. And what the heck. Let's go out on a limb predictions predictions for twenty twenty one. I think they'll be. They're going to be relapse covert and we won't have the season. No no no so. I'm optimistic that the offense is going to be up. Three offense in terms of points not yards although yards is fine too but i think that the offense being that good will help the defense because it makes the other team one dimensional and when you have the football they don't have the football i think between those two things. I think the cowboys are probably in a twelve win. Category something wrong. Those are seriously the. Nfc east is still imploding. Daniel jones going to be answering new york. Alex smith thirty seven years old. Who knows if he's even going to play next year. And then i got earlier when you talked about them pulling jalen hurts out of the game that they were obviously tanking jalen hurts of twenty for seventy six yards when they pulled him out of that game so he wasn't torching them he doing anything to them. They're probably going to roll with him next year. As if he's the star but he's the same guy that was seven of twenty. Yesterday i think just based on deck alone but cowboys should roll the nfc east. Yeah this is all with the assumption of better than we had last year. I can't roll up your fourth string offensive line and you're going to do much damage against that washington defensive line that monster scott. How about you. What are you excited about. My excitement is just gonna be. Hopefully they can get the band back together. I mean i would love to see an offense that has its players. I was excited about seeing that this year. And then it crumbled as kind of like what my sign is especially in the last two years i've prediction..

"During the decision. Challenge the cash for more new york. Beal yes i mean the the the catch it was you know obviously done in our area and the receive return to me And the information. We just felt it was too close. You know we. We thought it was kind of a bang bang type situation aimal all. Yeah that's true but no big deal. Obviously which is why. Even though i don't dislike him that much. I am an advocate for more taking over. I don't care if it's today or two years from now but garrett lost romo and they went four and twelve they were three and they lost roma one guy lost tyron smith for about five weeks and for that five weeks. We were the worst offense in football side. We've lost four offensive tackles just Starters but the backups. We lost our best guard. We lost our starting center. We lost the quarterback. We lost four defensive tackles. We lost a defensive end. We've lost linebacker report of the season. We've lost corners for parts of the season and despite all of that they were flirting. Seven and nine and almost had a playoff berth. if that was garrett where owen sixteen again couldn't pull on one game without romo. I'm to give him and the team a pass on the personnel challenges that they had. But i am not willing to give him a pass for some of the stupid in game. Decisions that he made and condemned. The giants game was a microcosm of a lot of these stupidity that he has had throughout the season. And i don't know that that's going to get any better next year or the year after. I don't know if we want to put up with two years just so we can get to kill and more exciting things online to jerry and you can get into to switch to kill right now. Tell support you. I thought bay off of berg tweeted interesting point yesterday. He said he's never understood why you don't hire an exit official booth and if he wins you one game because he goes yes he throw the flag. I honestly think they have somebody up there. That does that now. Whether mccarthy chose to disregard his advice i don't know but he said he didn't get any but they use coaches. They don't use a separate person right. I got no problem with that. They should do something like that. A few years ago norm. Said i would have guy. Who's just in. Charge of time outs bob finishes up or your thoughts and then i got a couple of questions for us please. God fix that be fence if they can do that. That'll here so much of what's wrong with his team. Does it start with ditching nolan. Yes oh yeah. I will be shocked beyond it shocks you if they keep him his shot you. He's friends with mccarthy in mccoll care if he's got pulled their he may save him. I don't care if it's his wife. I don't think mccarthy has much leverage right now. I don't think so. Did the three wins. We have toward the end of the season. Bree you enough joy overcompensate that we gotta work traffic. I'm going to say yes. I don't watch a season to worry about draft picks. I want to see them. Play well and i am happy when they win. I get the idea of like. Oh no we want better draft. Pick but i just want that feeling of alright way to go..
