I probably didn't watch it for the first time until a couple years later, I think I saw in two thousand, seventeen, the first time and I had heard similar things like they shut the whole thing on an iphone. Isn't that marvelous, but I'm almost kind of like cares about that like it's such a monumental film for so many other reasons, yeah, and it's so fun it's. It's so funny. It's I mean Romp you know me, I love a good romp but it's I I loved it. I watched. I've seen it a few times over the years and Big Fan. It kinda selfishly. It's because it takes place near where we all live zero. Yeah, Oh, I know it. Oh, cool I. Think I. Know every written has donut time before. Master List with Diane Shore and yeah. One of many reasons I like this movie is that it's a movie that takes place around Christmas time that treats Christmas like it's just any other day. It kinda sometimes lighting the main plot of it. Being Christmas is like some fun holiday lighting in some. Really Cool. But for the most part, everyone's just like I don't really give a fuck that it's Christmas and I'm like that's how I feel. As the resident scrooge mic grinch of the group. Did you just so rich Mick ranch. Yes. That is what I said. I'm so sorry. Everybody innovating innovating. Thank you actually the name of my new screen play, scrooge, mcduck, grinch, the the Anti Christmas story the Anti Christ mass. Yes, it's. WHO Does, it start! WHO DOES IT START? Oh. There's a lot and URGED MCGRAW I need I need at least four movies. To unpack, you'll get them. I'm working on it Okay anyway, so it's it's Christmas Eve in Los Angeles ever heard of it, and we meet West Hollywood specifically and West Hollywood. Yep, we meet Cindy played by Katana Kiki Rodriguez and got to spell it. Yes, it's not the like. C. I N. D. Y., spelling the you might be bringing spelling it's s I n hyphen. d. e. last name, Rela last name Rela so Cindy Rela. Yes, our protagonists name you. Don't call the protagonist. I can do that. Though I'm not sure I will And then she is with Alexandra played by Maya Taylor and they are best friends, and they are both trans sex workers in their conversation. Alexandra lets it slip. That Cindy's boyfriend and pimp. Chester has been cheating on her with a white ciswomen whose name they're not totally sure of, but they think it begins with the D. in this was happening while Cindy was gone for the past few weeks and fun later that she was in jail for possession of drugs that she was holding for Chester Shoes in jail for twenty eight days, right. Okay Yeah. This is actually the sequel to twenty eight days later. By the way R.I.P donut time. I know it was a simpler time. It was a doughnut era time. Donate, your time wow. You're not wrong. Okay, so. Cindy sets off to find this lady. Take the fish the fish and Alexandra reluctantly agrees to help her, and she's also handing out flyers for a show. That Alexandra has later that night at Hamburger Mary's at seven PM. Yes, this is where the walking comes in just like. How did we get here so quickly, right? Meanwhile we meet Rasmatic Razz. Make a cabdriver. and. We see him driving some people around hill. Is this before this be? You is before Uber or long? With definitely a thing at this point, it was just. Kind of new maybe wasn't a gigantic threat to the cab industry I don't know 'cause. He seem busy, right. He was always driving and it was like yeah. I guess it would have been cab times I. also I mean. This movie was shot. Went let me get the exact dates of when this was shot, because it might have been shot like at an even more cab time. Let me see okay. It was filmed at the end of twenty thirteen, so I feel like now. That is pretty firmly like before. Uber really really caught on right. It was still it was already definitely thing, but he I don't know if like the widespread adoption of like Uber and lift was. It wasn't super, popular Janda? But Kai, you said be you and that provides an opportunity for me to bring up something that I hate to drink which. Mormon College. No, that's Byu I went to. You Yeah and I did a master's degree in screenwriting. There, thank you so much. You're welcome. I did that on purpose to bring it up, but you left me no choice Okay, so we meet this cabdriver. And then we cut back to Cindy. She asks Nash Played By. Edwards who as a comic and actor of course but funny Super Funny Yeah. She asks Nash if he has seen Chester and he tells her to go to a food line where she might be able to get some more information from people that leads her to Bob. Who tells her to go to a particular motel? Meanwhile Alexandra starts working. A guy picks her up. They get into a fight because he won't pay her. Yeah, he. He completely shortchanges her. From the jump and then the situation escalates because cops get involved in because this is fiction, the cops are cool. Yeah the cops don't still suck, but they're like it's Christmas right right. Let this one slide like okay calling really, would you do that? So, it's still fucked up, so then we see. We're back to Rasmatic driving around cruising. He's looking for a sex worker to pick up. We learned that he is pretty much only interested in trans woman. And, then he and Alexandra Cross paths because he is a regular client of hers, then Cindy finally finds the woman she's looking for. Her name. Is I nine. Pulls out of this party room at this motel and starts dragging her party. That's such a nice. That's a nice way of putting it. So wholesome. I know that motel by the way Oh no way. Where is it? Hollywood in the Brea, oh. Oh, yeah..

"And then locking Dali inside the closet to make it look like a burglary had gone wrong. And for months the police had fallen for it. Herman was stunned Dali was currently on trial for Fred's murder, and here was the solution to all of their problems. So you might imagine that he called the police and had Otto taken into custody securing the freedom for the woman he loved, but that's not what he did. Instead he told auto to run. Trying to put ourselves in Herman shoes. It sort of makes sense Dali wasn't going to be convicted of murder. No one could explain how she could've locked herself in the closet with the key that was found elsewhere in the house. It was definitive proof that someone else had been in there with her and the court was convinced that someone was the real killer. If Herman brought to the police sure, they would finally know who that someone was but it would also dragged Ali through the mud and Herman's reputation right along with her telling Otto to run was Herman's way of protecting his future. So he handed the young man a bag and told him to pack and leave. And that's what did he headed north the Canada? Then Dahlie, continued on with her trial, the state of California spent a year and a half trying to prove the Dolly was the killer. But in the end, they couldn't do it. It couldn't prove that. "All right. We are back on the Dr Phil. Dahlie, twenty seven seventy. The AL Tennessee communication network for making the show happen. Daniel who is working dials? Vic, thanks for tuning in. We really do. Appreciate it. We'll get the follow us on Twitter. Dr Dalia in on Facebook, the doctor Dolly shell Trump raises more than one hundred million dollars for two thousand twenty reelection bid. So it is on. And I thought that Trump was using all of his own money for his campaigns. I I was wrong. He spread a lot. I believe he spent about sixty six million of his own funds for his first campaign, which was pretty remarkable. Because in the beginning was not asking for donations. And a lot of us don't like to donate to somebody who's gonna lose. I think we've all done that. I mean that's worse than a bad football bet. Like the Packers spread was ten. You know, how many of us thought the Packers were going to very easily covered the. Spread with the forty Niners. And wow, the forty Niners shined. That was pretty amazing. What happened yesterday? Even though the Packers won in the end. But still. We don't like to put money on a we don't like to put money on on somebody who's gonna lose because that's a lot of money and the thing with politicians is they don't need five dollars or twenty dollars. They need thousands of dollars thousands. So what ends up happening is they really need. Rich people so many politicians need wealthy people that can write hundreds of dollars to their campaign or thousands of dollars of their campaign. But one thing we've noticed with these old grassroot movements is how small amounts of money can add up. I believe there was a number. We're FCC filing showed that fifty six percent of the money raised by President Trump's committees from July through September of this year came from supporters who gave donations of two hundred dollars or less. So what that means is. And a brilliant politician of successful politician. We'll show the masses. How even a fifty dollars donation can help their campaign. But wow, fifty six percent of the money. He's made and he's already made a hundred million. They say Trump pulled an eighteen point one million last quarter through the campaign committee to joint fundraising operations with the Republican National Committee. Trump unusually began fundraising for his reelection shortly after his victory from the democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, which again, well right now people say, well, it's because he was more rich than she was. I don't know the Clintons are pretty rich. I think it did help that he got to use his money. But I did that happen effect did President Trump not asking for money in the beginning. Make you want to vote for him. I think it helped a little bit because I was like damn that's good. You know, because people he was already trying to dig himself out of a hole as being a rich guy trying to get money and people thought that he was gonna do fraud with a campaign finances. Like, I don't need the money. I using my own course, later he did from what I understand he pumped in sixty six million of his own. And then I believe he. I think he had. I think eleven million dollars from his. I think he raised three hundred thirty nine million. Spent three hundred twenty two million and Hillary Clinton spent five hundred sixty five million I want to stop right here in two thousand sixteen Trump spent three hundred thirty nine million Hillary Clinton spent five hundred sixty five million Trump spent ninety four million in the final days of the campaign Clinton spent one hundred thirty two million. We are looking at almost a trillion dollars. For two people to battle it out. To get into the White House. And you know, what that money could have done. In terms hospitals in terms of medical centers. In terms of aids and cancer research. I'm not blaming Trump Hillary, but look at these numbers. Clinton.

All if you, if you, if you want to sit down and get some hip hop, you want you this. You know what I'm saying? If you also rapidly molested by liberty. Feel free perhaps on that way right now. Play a little a little beach house head candy..

"Dahlie operators sent me that pick and he's just like, and we would always send it back and forth to each other and say, when you walk in at three o'clock and your wife, you've been, you know, we'd always just put different different things. This is the perfect opportunity use that bigger. You can't be fired. That would be ridiculous which I don't think they thought was funny, but I'm glad you did. Look, the article came out. So here's the thing. 'cause I just left your house a couple hours earlier and flown back to here. And so e had posted your Instagram posts, and I saw it on Twitter and I was like, wait what? That's where I found out because I didn't find out from you. I didn't find out from anyone. There was no official press release and I was like, hang on ease. Got your Instagram, and that's when I text you like you hurt anything that you're like? No, but everybody else's. Because you'd left town. We did the benefit in Kane wanted me to come up because he just bought a new restaurant up in Nashville, Christian king, Christian Kane. We all love him. So the wife and drive up to to Nashville, and we take an ice road trip listening to a podcast. So when I get to get to Nashville, just gonna shit storm tax, the other article came out that said, you're being replaced. He's being fired and and and I looked at the white on thought we're getting ready to go to dinner. And I was like, I'm gonna post big though the phone to the side because you know me and my cell phones like I really have it on me. And that is true by way for the audience and everybody at home getting hold of you is like trying to get a hold of Trump like you don't have a fucking phone with you. 'cause you live your life in the moment. You were very in the moment guy in like, hey, you'd rather spend time in their family when you're not on social media all the time. I don't like talking on the telephone and I feel like too much gets lost in texting. So for me, I just fucking hate the device. So, yeah, it was quite unusual to, again, turn on the phone. Once we landed in Nashville and I said, we were driving some. We got there into see all these all these Texans. So then of course, I go and check social media because that's how I found out my fate. Is that through social media or through deadline, which is obviously swinging from the sack of Warner Brothers, right and deadline is the go-to insider site for Hollywood. It's not even like a traditional site is far as normal audience goers for TV or movies as an insider site for us. And so that's where I caught. The story was on deadline, but I used to deadline to me is we hear this all the time. You hear this all the time in the world of like, man, I found out NFL players. I found it was traded on Twitter. I found out the coaches I've, I was fired on Twitter, you really did. So that's real. I found out everything through social media or again, deadwood. Deadline, deadline. And when I found out that Sean had actually been hired, that was mother's day that Sunday and we're all sitting at the dinner table and everybody's phones just kinda start lighting. And my mom actually showed me the picture showing Scott and she's Chico's. They actually did it. You know? So to go back to your previous question when the first article came out, I called, gee, I and I was like, what the fuck is this? This is not. This is obviously Damon putting the shit out there like this is nothing going to really happen with this directed the pilot, correct. He directed the pilot any director, the second episode. Gotcha. Mic, jeez, y signed onto this deal. He, he's, he's a great due to he's really energetic and he, he has a great vision..

"Hello to everyone listening. Claudia. I wanted to speak with you because you played the witch dully on the originals. Tell me if you would a little bit about taking that role in what you knew about the character going in. If you can recall. Well, I mean, she's kind of like Harry lime in the third man, which is a very old film reference that he's until about them studies because of the structure of the movie and the and the character can textually Harry diamond. So disgust but doesn't appear, I think, until the third act of the film. But because he's been so up, he has this incredible power. And that's exactly what happened for me stepping into play Dalia. She'd been off spoken about and referenced, but never seen on the show as an adult. And I don't know if I really understood what a big deal that was in the audition saying she was sort of more sexy and more playful, and certainly manipulative very strong. She ended up being actually quite different. Yeah. How how did you wind up being especially after playing a few episodes? I imagine once your personality gets them there, she starts to change. Not really. I've seen that happen on other shows. I mean, the guys on the show behind, you know, who were writing it and producing. It might say, otherwise. It just felt to me that they were on. It was very, it was taking on a very serious tone towards the end of that season. And I think that's what they needed to honor. I think that's probably having not spoken to them about it specifically. It's good question to us Julia when I see. But for me, it's about sort of showing up and doing the job that's that's actually being asked if me, because I feel like I'm sort of one color on a on a, you know, on a big campus whenever I take a job and. You know the the heartbreaking story with Freya and and Dahlia and her back story and Dahlie Israel relationship with her sister was really touching to me and I and I guess that's why, in a way, you know what was required of Dahlia, you know it. It seemed to go in that direction. I, I wanna see now. I mean, I think I mentioned to a produce early on that. It seems Dalia seem to be different than the character. The Daito addition full. They just didn't seem to be as much room for Dahlia herself to. In a way, I don't know, take as much to lie in what she was doing and she could have the talking about it. Now, thinking about it, you know, wet now knowing where the season was heading. You know, it makes sense to me why? Yeah. Why there was that sort of that schism? Sure or you, you mentioned the very sympathetic story about Dahlia and her sister and the the question. I'm I'm always curious about from people who play villains is whether they see their character as a villain. Oh, I mean, you and I think that the minute you patient a character, you'll sit of forcing them you're limiting them, and I think it's bad parenting, and I think that's what acting is when you given stewardship of a role you, ah, you'll bussing it along with other people and you know, it's a gorgeous humbling moment when you made for me when I made with a costume designer and talk to them about it and really understand what that moment is like sedan..
