The Zero Point
"Hello, my friends I'm. This is daily breadth. A new series is called total. Your. Mind hits reset button the instant thought registers. This is like the zero point of awareness. It's almost as if the mind erases thought so a new thought can take its place. Let's discuss this zero point. A little more. The zero point, which is home base is alive dynamic and ready for anything that we come next. Our. Ideas State of being is that we wanted to feel vibrant and alert. You. Experience Ideas Zero Point State when you are fresh when you feel alert optimistic and ready. For a new experience. There are times when zero point of the mind isn't at to rest. It's dire. It's dulled. Be Sunk in. Routine. Routine thinking resistant to change. and. Because of that, we fall somewhere in the middle when it comes to our. Resting Point. Zero Point. Here, are some ways of noticing it feels like when zero point of the mind is less than idea. Create. An irritating noise in your surroundings blast music. You don't like or turn up TV static. Sit with ice close. And clear your mind. Notice how hard it is to be quiet inside is to reach the zero point. And when you do you feel irritated because of the noise outside. Now, finding acquired, setting where you feel relaxed. Close Your eyes take a few debretts. And suddenly notice that your mind is getting quite. Notice, how easily reached zero point and without irritation. Experiment. With how zero point feels in various situations. For example, that airports waiting for Flight Tedious meetings notice how easily the zero point is thrown off. The mind's inherent said, certificate is an asset. And yet a detriment. For the mind to two to zero point with freshness in Daddy. What we call spacing out is the minds way of coping with too much simulation. Except in cases of inner distress or external stressors. Your thoughts will return to the zero point without any action on your part.

Distributed In Memory Processing And Streaming With Hazelcast
"You hear about all these different data management platforms that talk about these things but Hazel casts advantage is around in memory and in memory isn't a new concept it's been around for a while but there have been some limitations about what it can do in the past and some of these limitations are being mitigated so that in memory speeds are opening up to more and more companies and Hazel cast was founded a little more than ten years ago actually in. Turkey by a couple of very smart engineers and they came to Silicon Valley to start his cast as a former company, and it was all about in memory computing, and so the first product was the I M D product which stands for the in memory data grit. So very much like a database, but a bit more capabilities in terms of distributed computing ways to simplify building applications that could be spread across multiple nodes in a cluster and thus enable paralyzation much more simply and so from the early roots. It was all about trying to get applications that ran faster, but at the same time maintaining some of these enterprise qualities like security and reliability and availability. So ensuring that you're not getting speed at any cost but getting the right amount of speed that you need to address your use cases while also protecting your data and with added on stream processing since and we have a set of technologies that work extremely well together and are fitting in quite well with some types of use cases that people are building today. and. You mentioned that it's not being built at the expense of some of the reliability durability guarantees that you might care about is particularly if you're working on mission critical applications so I'm wondering if you can dig a bit more into some of the benefits and the potential trade offs of in memory compute particularly for data intensive workouts and things that are going to be operating on stateful sets of operations. You have the benefits of computing have largely to do with the fact that you have fast access to data stored in memory, and so I've heard some people say that this notion of in memory computation or in memory processing is redundant. When in fact, if you think about it, the processing isn't done in memory. The processing is done in the CPU or these days increasingly more in the GP and the in memory simply means that all of the data is stored within memory and not necessarily spilled out to disk, and so when you have a system that's designed to optimize that pattern where you have all your data in. Memory that means that you can get fast access to a lot of fast processing and be able to deliver on some of these use cases that have very narrow windows for service level agreements. So you get performance the same time when you have fastest, you need to incorporate some of the typical characteristics of a distributed system like replication in a variety of ways and you need to have consistent replication. So we've after doing some research, some competitive research we've seen at least one technology where at certain levels of throughput, it pauses some of the replication to be able to handle the throughput and so most people won't notice it but. It's one of those things that if you're not watching, then you could potentially have a big problem when your dad isn't replicated and notes go down and you get failures then you might see a lot of unexpected data loss when you thought that all of the data protection capabilities were in place but for us, we don't make those trade offs when we run our benchmark. So we say here's what you get in a true production environment in terms of performance, and you can be sure that we keep everything retained for business news that you would expect, and certainly some of the trade offs are pretty clear if people from there. With these, it's mostly about how much daddy can store. So you wouldn't use Hazel cast as your say your system of record for Peta Bytes of data we're talking more about operational data where you want to process it very quickly. So things like payment processing or fraud detection are good cases where you might have a good amount of data in memory as a cup, but also have the engine processing in parallel and being able to use that data in it almost transient way. So it's it's data that persisted somewhere else, but we put it into our engines so that we can have those very stringent, very data intensive workloads running. My understanding is that the actual implementation is as a library that can be embedded

Bear Fire Renamed North Complex West Zone
"The bare fire in Butte County with reporter Mike Baka. Actually, they also are calling it the North complex West zone. Authorities air calling that but whatever you call it, it has been deadly. It has been a destructive Here's Mike. Yeah, well, what they're telling us now. 70,000 Acres 2000 structures destroyed. And, of course, the three deaths that were reported yesterday and Kitty, it really moved fast. In a westerly direction late Tuesday afternoon. Those those winds really pushed it from Plumas County Interview County and, of course, a lot of dry fuel when it made it dangerous. My quote of the firefighters been telling you that there's an unpredictability to it, which is kind of common for fires up here. And of course, we're very familiar, of course less than two years ago, the campfire Um, within about a 90 minute period yesterday, they were saying that it's moving in a northerly direction. Then they were saying northwesterly direction. Then they saw it shifted south, and that's Kind of commonplace right now they're saying it's moving. Suddenly ah little bit. They're still doing a lot of structure protection in the forest town area, Brush Creek, Feather Falls and the Lumpkin Ridge area. We know the firefighters are doing their job, but one can only suspect it's taking a toll. What's interesting is it's very dangerous to compare things to the campfire. But chief Gaddy yesterday that I never thought in my lifetime. I was something that would be similar in scope and how it moved. Like the campfire, and that's what they were telling me yesterday and they have been helped out by the weather. Today. They're very happy with what happened with the weather, lower temperatures and certainly helped. The winds are not gusting, but They thea unpredictability of it. Initially late Tuesday afternoon into the wee hours Wednesday morning, that's what really had them on edge. Yeah. Well, finally, I understand that we are getting help here in California from firefighters around the country and even the world Israel maybe Australia. Yes, and Chief Daddy again telling me the Suppression efforts, and the resource is have nearly doubled in the last 24 to 36 hours, which is great, which means the other fires around the state are not as bad and those resource is air now being shifted to this fire. Another interesting tidbit regarding this fire is the way they are mapping it. They're using Lake Oroville as a firebreak. So they are able now to put resource is in other places to protect structures. And if they have to, They're going to let that fire burn all the way down to the eastern portion. Eastern side. I should say of Lake Oroville and then protect structures and other areas. So it's weird to say this, but the topography which has always worked against Firefighters in Butte County. At times it's kind of helping them because of how big Lake Oroville is interesting. Well, Mike Baka, thank you so much for this report. Sure.
Kelly's lawyers want to question gang member in cell attack
"Attorneys for R. Kelly want to question a convicted member of the Latin Kings gang who says he beat up the jailed R and B singer in a Chicago cell. The trading in reporting that Kelly's lawyers filed a motion yesterday in federal court to question Jeremiah Farmer under oath, farmers said in a court final ING this weekend and him in Indiana Daddy attack Kelly on August 26th in the Metropolitan Correctional Center. All of this to shed light on drawing doing by the government in his own criminal case.
Trump and 2015 McCain comments
"Donald trump is vehemently denying allegations made in a shocking Atlantic piece, which claims that trump refused to visit a US military cemetery near Paris in two thousand, eighteen because the fallen soldiers were in his words, losers and suckers. Now I say it was a shocking piece but to be honest with you not so shocking when you consider all the different times, he transparently brazenly said terrible things about members of our military who happen to disagree with him politically. But here he is denying it and then I'll give you what the facts are to think that I would make statements negative to. Our military and our fallen heroes nobody's done what I've done. With the budgets with the military budgets with getting pay raises military it is a disgraceful situation. By a magazine that's a terrible magazine. I don't read it by disagreed with John. McCain. But still respected him and I had to approve his funeral is president. We lowered the flags I had to approve that nobody else I had to approve it when you think I'm just thinking back. I had to approve either Air Force One or military plane. To go to Arizona to pick up his casket and I approved it immediately. So. Let's take a look at a trump tweet from two thousand fifteen because there's always tweet. This is from July two, thousand fifteen where trump referred to John McCain as a loser. I mean he tweeted an article about himself calling John McCain loser. So he was bragging about it also when McCain died in two thousand, eighteen trump refused to lower the White House flag back to half staff even though it's become customary for presidents to sign a proclamation calling for the flag to remain at half staff for members of Congress until the day of interment, and then one other piece of evidence to Kinda refute trump's narrative in that video take a look and I said somebody should run against John McCain who has been. In my opinion not so hot I supported him. I supported for President I raised a million dollars from a lot of money. I supported him. He lost he let us down but he lost. So. I never liked him as much after that because I don't like to lose. But. But Frank Franklin we're get doing. He hit me he's a war hero. He's a war hero he's a war hero presumed captured. I like people that weren't captured. Okay I hate to tell you. That was from twenty. Fifteen event in Iowa. So. I don't know how to talk trump supporters anymore. That's why I'm done with them in my personal life and everywhere else because the guy. Ridiculous Liar. Does he know that he tweeted on John McCain's loser does he know he said on? Massimo you guys all remember when he said for people who weren't. But earlier, he said, I don't like losers referring to John McCain. So why did he come out yesterday and say no I never malsor. Each just unbelievable he's capable and so if you say, Hey, know what I love people who are Liars Okay again I mean do you boo okay. and. And look again. I. Blame the media. And Because So many politicians lie and they never call it out. They'd never they enabled politicians lies for decades. So eventually, you got one that. So over the top that even. Though. And remember you guys remember it took them like a couple of years before they finally gather up the nerve to say, well, what Donald Trump said, there was not correct. I'm forgetting the name of the CNN analyst who finally just said it and then went on this three minute rant fact checking trump. Fact checking trump's RNC speech but he started that three minute rant by saying trump lied he's a liar and I was like. Is. This CNN what's going on? And so yeah, you're right Jangling the fact that that excited me because it's so rare I think mean something and we'll get you the name of the person I'm talking about because he deserves all the credit I'm kind of blanking right now but look I actually think with this particular story and a few others. The media has done a decent job. So for instance, business insider had a very lengthy list highlighting all the different times, Donald trump attacked members of the military right and fallen soldiers. So I wanna read a few of them right now in fact, as you guys can probably remember in July of two thousand, sixteen trump attacked the family of captain who mine con a slain soldier someone who died. Fighting for the country dismissing a speech his father Kaiser Khan made because he said Khan's mother hadn't been allowed to speak the family said she had not spoken because she too emotional to talk about her son's death. And he just kept going after that family. It was it was honestly disgusting in October of two thousand seventeen trump forgot the name of slain US Army Sergeant La- David Johnson while he was on the phone with his widow, Johnson was killed in an ambush in. Niger. While while in active service. Misha. Johnson said the call was trump made her cry and trump told her that her husband knew would he had signed up for in November of two thousand Eighteen Fox News is Chris Wallace asked trump about his thoughts on retired Admiral William mcraven a former navy seal been. who was behind the mission that killed Osama bin. Laden. He interrupted Wallace and said Hillary Clinton. Fan. When Wallace continued trump did to excuse me Hillary Clinton Fan trump went on to repeat that mcraven supported Clinton which by the way he hadn't as well as former President Barack Obama and said frankly wouldn't have been nice if we got Osama bin Laden a lot sooner than that. I mean, there's so many more examples Jank but I mean I want to give you an opportunity to respond to some of them. By the way Daniel Dale is the CNN reporter that I was referring to earlier go ahead. So we've seen him call the generals, losers, thousands of times and so. I guess people are shocked at that. He would go and call the fallen soldiers losers as well, and not just stop a general's or veterans or captured soldiers. But is it really shy at all? He calls everybody lose them in his denial. He called the military people who were the sources for this story lowlifes and liars. If you're trying to deny that you'd ever call anybody in the military losers you shouldn't then turn around in your denial and call them lowlifes. Buyers. So I look. Landing brokers story with four sources. Then Washington Post back it up with three sources and the Associated Press also found sources all saying the same thing. I actually want to read a few excerpts from the Washington Post piece. Again, these aren't the same sources. These are additional sources who also spoke to the Washington Post about. Their experience with trump and what he had to say about fallen soldiers in one account. The president told senior advisors that he didn't understand why the US government plays such a high value on finding. Oh. This is so disgusting finding soldiers missing in action because they had performed poorly and gotten caught in deserved what they got according to a person familiar with the discussion. Okay. That That part of the story like I don't know all of it is gross but that part hit me the hardest because he just doesn't value people's lives and think about losing a family member that way and knowing that the president of the United States does not care to find their bodies. A trump believes people who served in Vietnam War must be losers. They hadn't gotten out of it according to a person familiar with the comments. Trump also complained bitterly to then chief of staff, John Kelly that he didn't understand why Kelly and others in the military treated. McCain, who had been imprisoned and tortured during the Vietnam War with such reverence isn't he kind of a loser? Trump asked according to a person familiar with trump's comments. So. Look at Donald Trump says, this is outrageous synonymous sources. Donald Trump also, just a couple of days ago said that there was a plane full of thugs who are gonNA come and disturb. His, acceptance speech and caused violence and when asked, who told you that he said? I can't tell you basically it's anonymous. So. I'm supposed to believe your anonymous source of a trust me to go. You would know trust me. But we're not supposed to believe now it looks like about a half, a dozen military sources for that talked to three different publications all saying the same thing and all saying things that are very similar to what you said before and by the way yesterday show before the Washington Post Associated Press stories came out I said I guarantee you. that. He thinks that they're suckers 'cause he out of be fake doctor's note because his daddy bottom one and he thinks they're suckers for not being able to get out of the war his spoil less and it turns out. That's exactly what he said according to the military sources that heard him say. And remember when sources are anonymous to the general public that doesn't mean that there are anonymous to the reporters. Reporters have to vet their anonymous sources and corroborate what they're saying So maybe they're anonymous to us, but they're not anonymous to the reporters.
Former Obama Intern, Desiree Tims, Runs For US Congress
"Are you doing array is doing fantastic carrio. I can't complain I'm happy to be with you today. I know it's been a little difficult getting scheduled. You gotta go out here raise money and may cause and win the seat listen. Every day, we're working hard to get the drop down. We have a lot of work to do. Yeah. Yeah. Well, at know that it's you have your work out free but I also know you're willing for the job in addition to hearing about you just from being on the board of Clarkston CBC pack also Special Little Nudge from our shared in winter. Are you gonNA talk to desert I said my pleasure it'll be monthly. Enough. Still. Always happy to get to get an edge my real vaseline to case. My boss to. Answer yes, she is. So phenomenon spirit in always had. So the first thing I want to go to actually is There is a song that's out right now. That is urging people it really to me is like the modern doper cooler version of schoolhouse rock and it's. A song by a yellow pain who when guide Efron Cory who works with him? I was like Oh God. No, and then come to find out. That's your cousin. Yes. Yellow pain is your president as right. We gotta get him to do a song for you. Hear that. Song. That's just for you so I helped educating. About voter suppression by how the definite words I need one specific desert for Congress. I have to think of that. So this the whole song came about because I'm back home. After you know the Obama Administration ended worked on Capitol Hill and I was like okay I am going to take a break from public service because people think he'll staffers make a lot of money and we don't What's What's and I was on the higher end but girl what's Yeah One more time for people in the back. So, law school they night at Georgetown and I was like, okay. I'm going to work at a firm for a little bit pay my student loan debt down a good for a few weeks. Or years and Michael Copy shoes real now trip here in there. That was that was what I invasion high yellow pain is on. On your to. On. Your standard requires well, okay because we. INSTAGRAM's sophisticated yet you're right now in. One at a time but ultimately, death rate is told you how to make more money instagram this season. So exactly right I claim home I'm limited ground talking to people about what's happening. So when I moved back home the KKK March downtown. Dayton? That weekend and then we had tornadoes in a match shooting and I was like, okay we have to vote and we have to make sure people are in retention but everyone here on the ground in my family they know me from working in the Obama White House and so sometimes when I say things in Angela, you know this, we say things because they are you guys are politicals. It's sometimes doesn't reach them in the way it should and I thought well, my cousin, he conscious rapper talks about a lot of things and I was like I need you to talk about this song. I have a song about voting in my head it's going to be like schoolhouse rock but hip hop. Though and I think it can work. He was like I. Don't know and I was like, no you can do it in the months reidy fleshing out ideas how to save you call. I. Now we need a robbery in Congress. I can't rent. Over like yours, the concept you're, Ryan. Here's the lyrics. This is what we're going to say we have to talk about what happened in two thousand ten we have to talk about our have to talk about judges at the scene we have. That No. It worked out. It was great I'm so glad he. Goes raise lyrics this little bit you now hidden talent. Okay. So in addition to being a a Georgetown educated a lawyer, you also are the granddaughter of Ashir, crapper. Talk to me a little bit about what this means having that in your lineage also opted those are the things that ground us that people don't see and don't hear about since asked me a little bit about that. Yes. So my Popo is I called him now is from the deep South. So like beyond Daddy Alabama Louisiana, my maternal side is Alabama in my paternal side is Louisiana so. Shout to be onset I'm Louisiana both sides. Okay. So he migrated from Alabama, to Ohio, in the late nineteen forties part of the great migration like many black people go live in Chicago and Detroit and the path as to how we got. There was the our parents and grandparents came for opportunity and you know he dropped out of school when he was six years old because he had to work the fields, but he could never go back to school but. He still was able to reach the middle class work in a factory in real heatless taught me the importance of hard work and made me promise to go to school for as long as I could because he couldn't and that's why I continue. I went to the first family to get the undergraduate degree. Then I got the Masters Okay Papa be done. He was like Oh is that he can you go further. Pressure. He lived to see me graduate from law school, but it was a promise I made him. He'd he'd passed away from stage for a lung cancer but I will him through the White House so that was one of his last trips. Through the Obama White. House before Obama left in mayhem that promise that I will continue to keep going in idea but he taught me the importance of hard work and perseverance and that's what I'm doing. So I may not have the most money here is a congressional candidate I may not come from the wealthiest bag ground but I come from a background of hard workers in no one will be desert hymns
How Man United Can Get the Most From Donny van de Beek
"Let's Talk Dhani fondue beak and. We're we're we're joined by Janjalani Hallam from our colleagues at Fox Sports in Holland. IOS Let's get right into it von Bake. A year ago he was part of the golden trio actually probably more than a trill for X. Now he goes to. Manchester United. For a fee that seems incredibly reasonable. WHAT FORTY MILLION Yet true. Night guys the first of all the price in the beginning I expanded to have fifty, five million euros that is. but then the corona came and I ex and FUN Obagi already a deal with rail it was in January. the deal was fixed. Everybody was happy fun to make especially because well, course Real Madrid maybe to get away with man united one of the biggest even world. they only have to do to medical but of course, it's always a the last thing that needs to be fixed the medical, but then corona game and then Real Madrid didn't WanNa do anymore because the actor refresh they had to sell players. So, to the fun to make a scene. On the baked team they were really really. Really. This pointed then didn't went on because they thought maybe a year earlier we should have made deal with another club because. Well, he came at the irs when he was sin but there are during the year. So many gloves informed Do you WANNA play with us like Aroma arsenal-spurs buddies? Munich and they always say, no. I'm not done at IOC yet. I WANNA say I WANNA learn here I know what I have. So in January, he was like all I mean seven happen I'm going through Madrid? I'm really happiest guy, and then he went on and lost weight. Well, there was a different There was a different ballgame. Put it that way. Now when he was a young plus the two thousand fourteen. European championship where they got to the final the Dutch and he was the outstanding player in the sooner. But he played in a different role to the one we sitting plan X. recently in everybody's asking Kenny plan the same team as finance, but he can play Deepa Connie. He can actually it's funny because when from Kabura. Who came through the first squad and he said his deposition is the number six. Position is good because he has a lot of power Most of the time used to play with the the the most kilometers behind his name off in the match he can penetrate the book he's he's really intelligent. He thinks he can play between the line. He said he's my ideal number six offer lushest show in a left I. He thinks himself he can be six. You can be an eight and he can be a ten but then maybe as. Can Be the best position I. Think he's GonNa play the number ten position and I also think he can play with Bruno Fernandes and also with football because he's the guy who's go into the books oldest time it's never ending. He's smart can score goals he has a lot of. the only thing is. I was wondering because. I thought the interview with Man United, C C with with from the Baker's British interview. He just can't play on midfield with with. With Bruno and Fernandes. This isn't that to attack. I don't think so I don't think it's do. Almost, everybody knows what's what's expected I think sold he had good conversation with him Wednesday I think last week on Wednesday he knew everything about him he knew his specialty and he also he's also convinced that he can play with the so I think he's going to be the number then man united besides daddy place with thirty forty four or on back But I think at United best position or is she come to be the number ten?
Acting Class with Will Smith
"For. Is Nudity where field shooter this? This I'm one with Andrew arrived masterclass series. Where we only learn from the best the masters in today there is word, Smith. Might. Years. Really. Lama On sewer train he's like teach me how to act today. Yes and I am so excited that but I also thought that we could just engage in some harbour station earth. because I think it's important. So one of the things I really wanted to do with this is You know this this this moment in quarantine has given us space heard those of us were not workers for those investment not fallen ill to reset it allow ways your. Head. So I'm like you really WanNa make sure that I'm creating opportunity in space for people to do things that never done, but they've always wanted to do maybe you're. And so one thing that I can't say about acting. Is. I. I wasn't drama class. That's years drama. Okay. In my day are. August, Wilson's on. I wasn't quite honest Wilson. I'm not. Quite there. But I will tell you that what I learned over time will is. Acting from Rockefeller. Steps to seems to be like another layer of therapy for people that want to go to the advanced level and for me because I really enjoy conversing. From, host standpoint I feel like it would make me a better. To know. Acting connecting people in different ways. So where do you? What do you think they'll know absolutely so Let's first start with with a definition, right? So Acting. Essentially. You're. You're watching a person perform actions. So at the end of the day, that's that's all it is situations present themselves at a person takes actions. So acting is performing actions. So where do the actions come from the actions come from internal impulses that we had in our reaction to the circumstance bright. So what an actor learns, how to do is to simulate a good actor you learn how to simulate in an authentic way the reaction to the fantasy circumstances that have been presented. So in its simplest form in order to do that, you just study you watch you pay attention to human beings. That's a big part of acting you just watch what human beings do. And you, keep what we call a toolbox. And you just have a toolbox emotional. Perceptions that you can call on in any given circumstance. Right. So What what people? Bad Actors. Try to show the audience. What they're thinking and feeling and great actors internalize, and you just learn how to take yourself to the emotional space that the character is and learn how to relate you learn how to have compassion and understanding for some one who believes things that you don't believe. Right. So you you learn to understand what makes a human being do what they do So. That's really all it is. You look at the scene. and. You just want to understand and why acting would be good for you is you make an a make a living on your opinion. Right acting, you have to completely discard your opinion and totally open. Open yourself up to the emotional comprehension of someone else's plight no matter how despicable or foolish it may be to you. There's no such thing as a foolish points of view as an actor there are places you may not want to go there things like like for me it's like because I learned how to take my mind. So deeply into the thoughts and feelings of other people to play a character, I, don't WanNa play a pedophile. Right I don't want to understand that now. Right. Even like a film like Django. You know I was GonNa do Django you Y You Know Clinton, and I you know we met and I was really close on Django. And I hated that movie I hated, J. Push. The will sorry for this interim motors displayed on way with it again after you just. But listen. Django, I wrote A. Right, the about I was so mad at me, I WANNA know why do I have? No we we we can do. We can definitely talk about that for for me. First off it was it was it was willow. So I sat the family down because of the psychological space I was going to have to live in. To comprehend those atrocities willow was like you know. Daddy please don't. Daddy pleased on because she she knew what the time around the house would be if I was living in that in that psychological space and she was just She was like daddy pleased on I. Don't I don't WanNa live like that

Going on with that actually speaking of Damage Control Ellen is still doing some over her toxic workplace drama. So what does she go out and do she has lunch with Kevin? Hart you guys pictures are actually getting a lot of attention. Do you think he was giving her advice? You'll initially thought that would just hanging out to give each other fashion advice. By Kevin. Hart especially in this heat at the moment but I think they're probably working on another show together. In the future L. and they're probably brainstorming ideas for me. Personally I thought well, the apprentice has been done but maybe the intern. That's what we need right now from. That's what happens. If you lose, you lose the competition, you have to be Ellen's intern for a year. We'll see I, think they're just friends and I think they're meeting. But the only problem is I feel like people who are this famous are really out of touch and I feel like everybody rallying around ellen she's treated fine because they're on the same playing field, the the people who are saying that they were mishandled and mistreated where people who are working for her. I. Want someone who makes less than two million dollars a year to come out and say is a nice person because right now saying not a lot of people under to milk come into her defense. Yeah. I just feel like maybe she should focus on healing from the Last relationship she's been in to relationships since her split from Liam and that was barely a year ago.
The Transformation of Managed Security Services
"WANNA. Go through some of the specific types of of technologies that you're familiar with and the parts that they play in defending an organization. Can you take us through some of those things I mean I I know often use things like machine learning or analytics and stuff like that. I spent a lot of my time I've been doing managed security services for years and main security services going through a transformation it's been around for probably fifteen years in there were some issues with managed security services There's a lot of false positives. was very much a set. It forget it type of approach where we got your logs. Them in the customer thought that those were all just being taken care of If you look at security you just you need a, you need much more of a programmatic approach in my mind. I. Don't say this a lot but it needs to be more security as a program. You know this this thought of Rinse lather repeat. The nightwatchman walking around the perimeter. So MDR's the one that I spend most time with the one that I see customers asking about the most. Well, can you give us some insights what goes into that? What are the elements of it that that contribute to it being a good solution? Yeah absolutely. So I if I mentioned what I like to there, there are a couple of staples to MDR, if you look at the marketplace but I think, I. Talk About you know security is a program in what I'm by that is you know threat Intel you know get everyone has threat Intel but how good is that I mean it has it has to be a program internal verizon. You Know How do you gather daddy add context to it? How do you quantify? How do you keep it relevant and then when you take that threat until it needs to be need to put it in the content in a way that you can create you know you can alert filter into the same thing you need to research create tune plan audit, and then it gets down to. The real time alerts. Meaning the alerts come in you need to tree is it investigate? Your mediate help reduce the customer reducing the attack surface area, and then you also need to do regular threat hunting in. It's the same thing. Thread hunting is a program you need to research what's going out in the you know what's the threat scape look like you need to apply metrics tear threat hunting. This threat hunting is just these real smart Zinn warrior kind of of. Threat Hunters just just jumping around based on their gut, their feel blessed and very much a approach matic approach to it and I think that's what we do a little bit. That's what we do. Really well, and that's our focus. If you look at MD are from an industry perspective everybody likes to talk about. Artificial intelligence and machine learning, and of course, that's quite important because malware. Less than fifty percent of the attacks today and have malware. If so many tools out there that can catch Mauer. Artificial intelligence you know has this ability to attack Attacks in motion like. An adversary trying to access a registry key or you know loading Mau Mau foulest mouths where it's really hard in the way that's done is you know there's a lot written on data models and artificial intelligence, but basically they're these these data models are trained to compare what it's observing in way those attributes of observer nominally against once they've have stored in their databases in they they make a statistical. Verdict on the risk and the probability of that, and then they then they escalate and that's really how these. That's how artificial intelligence works. The other critical component to manage in response is any are you know? kind of this, this term that's been around for a long time or made popular here over the last couple years most large organizations have on deployment. You'll find that smaller organizations or mid tier if you will not not everyone is deployed agr. New York tool. If you can think about is you know it's next generation. The next generation of antivirus, they tend to have over a thousand rules. These are the crowd strikes carbon, black silence, Taniwha GMS companies like this of, and there's many many more new starting up all the time. So they're able to see. What looks to be like legitimate traffic but if you have the right detection capabilities, you realize that an adversary is trying to do something. For example, you know some of the things that are that are legal are most workstations can run nets, dad or power shell or FTP, and all of those are the typical tools of an adversary to try to to basically compromise system move laterally. Reach out to command and control exfiltration data rinse lather repeat get rid of their of remains stealth by getting rid of all their logs. The other thing that the tool does. Is it also gives you the ability to. Contain it. So if we see an alert, you can actually process disrupt the station that you you see activities occurring and also can do or host isolate. And then from there, you can do some really good invest the to has investigation capability. So you can see how this occurred the the process tree on the end point if the the binary that was used as it's changed, its name is it spread. And just continue to do kind of investigation died defy were this compromise occurred and then you know what it is I need to do to remediate. Make sure that it's not continuing to grow.

Unable To Travel To Mecca, Muslim Community Holds Drive-Thru Hajj
"The hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It is, of course, a year like no other in Saudi Arabia is limiting the annual pilgrimage just to people living inside the kingdom. It's a disappointment for many American Muslims who are planning to go from our member station. W M. You Daniella chess low reports on a community in Maryland that held a drive thru hodge instead. Loudspeakers blast prayers on a hot afternoon as Mona El Dada watches her 77 year old father. He's copying a ritual known as Walking around an eight foot tall black cube. That's a replica of the Kaaba shrine in Mecca. El Data tells him he's doing it wrong. No, daddy. The idea is that the car is actually going to do the show off Dr Hardy Ra Nama relents. He's done the really pilgrimage to Mecca three times. He remembers a sea of Muslims from all over the world, all wearing the same white clothes. And so nobody knows, but they pulled the rich whatever equality 100% and that is the beauty of today, Hondas and Tesla's drive around the Kaaba. It's not a substitute for the haj, which all Muslims must try to make in their lifetime. Mona El Dada is creative director at the next Wave Muslim Initiative, a group in Montgomery County, Maryland. The pandemic ruined her pilgrimage plans. So she suggested to her colleagues. How about a local version of Hajj by car? I was telling them it's it's kind kind of of like like the the way way that that in in the the wintertime, wintertime, there's there's Christmas Christmas light light shows shows and and all all you're you're doing doing is is kind kind of of looking looking out. out. Black Girls In Gaming
"Thank you so much for joining us today Melissa. Thank you for having me. Excited to chat about this metoo. So can you just tell us a little bit about your background? Melissa. How did you find space for yourself a gaming? Well I playing games, my entire life I mean literally as soon as I could hold a controller in my hands, I've been playing with my cousins in my aunts baseman mostly fighting games you pass the controller around tournament style and eventually evolved to playing other games with my siblings growing up I have a brother and a sister, and I think the invention of the Nintendo sixty four is probably the greatest thing that ever happened to ask because it allowed all three of us to play at the same time. which most other consoles didn't do before that. My Daddy is to get used consuls, `electronic stories and we read games blockbuster and we'd all play together and my mom daddy's to watch us in times personally I on us but also partially because they were just curious and interested about games gaming, they both Geeks, they love comics, all kinds of things like that. But. I never actually imagined myself working in games I never really thought about the people who behind the Games who actually made them. So I actually intended to become a researcher public health researcher and work either in academia or at the federal government doing health research that was going to advance programs that would help support people of Color and people from Lgbtq community is substance abuse trickiest mental health. So that's actually how I started my career. I went got my PhD in a field called socio medical sciences, which is a combination of social psychology in. Public. Health. And I did that research for while it looked at drug use and mental health and people of Color HIV risk behavior, and I enjoyed answering these questions that helped people like I love being able to ask an answer my own questions that I thought would really have a difference, make a difference in the communities of color that were like heavily impacted by some of these issues. But one of the things that always nickel that me a little bit was the amount of time that it took for the research insights that I came up with to turn into action. If. You've ever interacted with you know that you know it can take a couple of years to go from the beginning of a research project into just a paper, much less any kind of program out of it and I wanted to see more immediate impact with my work. So I started looking for other careers could use my skills as a researcher have a more immediate impact but I could see coming out days or weeks rather than. In measured in years so I started looking into user experience research and technology but again, I didn't really focus on game specifically. I was just looking at tech in general. And I found this job at xbox Microsoft websites literally just by chance I didn't know anybody at Microsoft I didn't have any like network my way in or anything the closest connection I hadn't seen somebody speaking Pan on American Psychological Association conference WHO's on my team but I was like, wow, that sounds awesome. I WanNa to do that. They'll probably never hire me because I'm coming from a completely different field, but I was wrong and he did. And that's how I ended up here. It was kind of a winding path and a little bit of a nontraditional wide but really loving and enjoying experience of being able to make gains and see what I, call it my fingerprints on all of these different projects and games they've gotten the chance to work on. It is such a cool story and you know really speaks to why I often described psychology as like this field that really opens all these other doors for you because I feel like it just lends itself to doing that only one thing but lots of different things Yup i. think that's absolutely true and ideally volunteer college admission advising, and that's what I tell the students that I work with all the time I'm like you determine where You Go and you can learn a lots of different skills and other things that will help you get to field. There's lots of different ways that you can turn lots of different majors and they're such a need for people who understand social science and how people think and behave and interact with each other So I'm curious to hear a little bit more about how your mental health background now informs the work that you do in gaming. Absolutely. So there's kind of two sides to it. There's a research methods side, and then there's the actual content of mental hall. So briefly, a lot of the methods that I learned in graduate school that I used when I was doing research on mental health I now use the same ones when I'm in research on video games and people's here's all that research training that you get is going to be useful no matter where you go and it's even useful when I'm not doing direct research because. It influences the way that I think about things I take scientific lens to approach things

I don't think I've had an English ones to say move over that sounds American to me. I wanted to know if it was a regional thing. Hence why I asked him was and I'm not saying that Americans say cuz in English we would say hence and then don't say why casually if you say hence it's the entire connected word. So you'd say I'm recording a podcast, hence I missed off I would say so I messed up which is why I might put that the Y is already in the hence. It's like yeah, he didn't do this rather than hence. Why he did you don't say the why we have one more example for young guys. Okay, so it's not entirely freezing. I just thought it was interesting. So if I were to refer to you and I'd be like westlab. Shave gave the head the head and so we I sit there so if he has to say absolutely you will not be on the show and then we get in the studio push comes to shove we need a little content for that day and all of a sudden outcomes explaining exactly what happened last night when we were having sex. I Love Alex. Push come to show you pushing. Something happens when you're with your best friend and and you get in a room and it's just the two of you and you start talking about stuff and then he just kinda like diarrhea of the mouth. Forget that there's like a microphone in front of me. Well that's the the thing is like we. We've said it before but I don't think people fully understand like we do not have a producer on this show. We are sitting in a room right now and I wish I could show you guys. There's no one sitting in here with us. No one is monitoring or audio. No one has any idea what we're saying and we release the episode every week without anyone checking. Yes if if it's good to go right right like I would say a lot of the other podcasts. They have someone listening in the whole time and someone will come in their producer will cut them off. If they're saying shit out of control we have no no when I taught me and that doesn't say a lie so back to who recently we got brought up because I was talking to this guy and if you guys remember in the other episode I was talking about a professional athlete. Guy Pretended that he came inside of me. Classic Classic Classic Kasich and accidentally. I forgot. You've tear coming down. I fucked up up accidentally. I forgot to block him from viewing my story classic rookie new and I decided decided to post the swipe up Promo on my story. That was me explaining the intimate details of our sex life and I got a text from him late night. You Mother Fucker and I'm like what you're like. Oh what about what he's like you you motherfucker and he facetime me a bunch of times and I'm like avoiding it and finally I talked to him and he's like you promised me that you were not going to expose me on your podcast hassle at talk about me. I have the text messages and I'm like it's all fun and games like no one knows. It's you don't even follow you on instagram. No one's GONNA suspect it. We went back and forth. Now here's the kicker for a minute. He was really upset annoyed fast forward to a week later he faced as times me. al-Jaali unhappy can laying on his couch and he's like. Hey what's up like. Hey what are you doing. He's like oh my friend is over. I'm like what are you guys doing. He's like oh I'm I'm playing him. Your podcast we're listening to the part where you talk about us. And I'm like you fucking piece of Shit Love Day. Oh Way they always do. I have ran into this problem. Well I was dating a guy. I don't want any muck and part of that filthy with a show that discussing shit. I do once a week and I'm like a leasing and then I come in here. Alex Kahn is agony on Emma. Everybody know everything about this guy. And then he turns around and he's upset yes and if you later. He's like obsessed obsessed upset upset to best. Why Oh yeah and I think that it's just I don't know it just interesting guys because it's like a lot of them really are wholeheartedly trying to convince convince us that like it would be the worst thing for their lives and now this guy over here is fucking playing? Mother wanted to name their when when they get a taste of it gets their heads. He's like Oh. Why don't you put that in this week? I'm like stop right or you know what people might find the interesting ors and I'm the opposite happens okay and I had this happened to you. Not that long ago where I was talking about one person and someone else freaked the fuck out of okay because they thought it was about them. Yeah so I was talking about. I was like telling a story about a friend and I said something like not that nice about her and another friend said Oh Mike God how could you say that about me. You're ruining my fucking reputation and I was like wait a second. That was not about you. That was about like a completely different way and this girl was just like how could you do this. Like you need to like. Take that out of the show. You need to take down the video like telling you to do all this stuff and I'm like it was not even about you that Oh yeah. That's really really hard because like I try to protect people by keeping some things yells. Oh yes and not using names that can also fuck him backfire. Because it's so bad people are assuming it's about me so it's like I think sometimes also says I forget like back where we started this podcast. No one was listening listening and it was again. Just the two of us in a room right and it's still just the two of us in a room and I think sometimes we forget like how many people are listening. My mom actually brought something up to me. The other day she she was like girls are doing so great so proud. But there's just one thing it just concerns mule little and I'm like what mom and she was like the two of you in that on that podcast guys. You really really talk about lying like it's like your everyday hobby like tell everyone to lie. Lie Lie Liesl you die lie lied just lie and my mom was like totally keep lying keep telling them to lie by. Just WanNa make sure that you girls don't start to believe your lies because that is when it starts to become pathological and I realize I'm sitting there with my guys and I'm like I will not not put you on and I'm starting to kind of believe right. Say I wholeheartedly. I had when I say I'd like you can trust me and I believe so you can trust me until I hear the wow just came out of our mouths so don't get mad at us all the people that are close with listening listening we love you all the good of the show and we're not using names on your fucking that are truly being exploited shit is made up. It's all made up but it's not at all not. Hello Hello fresh. I don't exactly exactly know how the fuck to cook. We don't really do much cooking. Our entire kitchen actually is completely empty except when we do get that one little delivery we love love to get from hello motherfucker frocks. We made the most delicious avocado chicken. Tacos Ooh they were so great. Great.

It's true so the whole thing is it's like you really truly mean to break up and until you've fully have gone through the break in the morning and like moved on then you can. Maybe like come bagri because i also think that there are some couples that try to dive right back into it and say you go out one weekend. One of you is gonna get jealous. Oh you're not dating more so he can talk to another girl. You can talk to another guy and then all of a sudden one of going to feel the jealousy. I also think last point about this question is you'll possibly are also going to be giving vibes and you don't even realize it that you're not open to finding other. You're still hung up on someone that's in your life or you're still making room for them that no one else is going to be able to come in. Even if it's just a casual hook up i would. The boyfriend is going to be so gross-out House this guy done all the things you can do like. Let's take a shower in the way like has he tried. I mean can this girl. We had an entire up Assode dedicated to telling is how they can last longer in bed because it is an actual issue. And I understand I don't want guys to be self conscious about it because. Yes, it's knowing for girls. But this is why we have this presenting sponsor. We partnered up with his team because Roman basically guys these swipes are wipes that you wipe on your dick, right? And it allows you to last longer. It's insane. I actually tried it out might allow so I have them, and they're so like, easy and compact to you you can throw it in your amicus. I mean, you can only think about other shit like baseball right saying the goddamn pledge of allegiance while you're getting her. It's not gonna work going to work. So this is literally something you can wipe on your dick and doesn't desensitize. Dick, and doesn't numb your partner. It just helps you last right? And it's fast acting. So if you're out the bar, you know, you're about to go fuck a girl in your pocket. Yeah. Juts? And I also think guys don't feel embarrassed about getting something like this. Because I don't think guys also understand how common it is. Like, you said also I've said in the past that they're super discreet pioneering. So when it gets sent to your partner, dorm, whatever nobody's gonna know what it is. Yeah. Don't have. Shame. Wouldn't you rather last longer by ordering swipes than you come in quick? And having to explain to the girls and everyone's the fuck you just so easy. Yeah. "There are some girls. I think that obviously don't have that under. So this is what I would do because I'm a compulsive liar. Okay. So what I would do is. I would approach it and act like it happened. I got called out you're gonna say. Oh my God. Someone some random person deemed me, and they called me out. And they were like you face tune your picture so much and I liked so embarrassed. And then you're gonna stay to that friend. You're gonna be like I from now on out if you guys don't mind, I'm literally gonna send you guys like my pictures. Let me send you my picks after I face to them to make sure it's not too much. Yeah. And then you be like if you want to to you, can obviously totally send it to me. Good. Because this should so now, I'm like, yeah. You kinda scare them in your like someone called me out. So you're gonna I need you guys to help me. Then that girl gets the, obviously, if your pictures aren't us face Tunas hers. Maybe she'll get the hint and honesty doesn't get the hint. You just leave a comment on one of her pictures and us put face tune all cops. I would punch you in the head of days two days to to should we talk about business d really quick while we're on the talk. Why not? Oh, okay. I'm not going to give too much airtime. But you guys listen to our bonus episode. A lot of people wanted us to do a collaboration with him. We know a lot of the data game members did not know who he was which was totally fine because I know our Barcelona we don't have a bar audience. Listen, we it was half of our fault. We'd into our research. We were told this guy was gonna come on. And basically be like disgrace out there talk about whatever we basically talk about. And then you know, he came on. And he didn't really give us much too. I mean, it was which is no shade to him. No Shay to him. But like maybe maybe through that we asked. All right. So they later went onto record. And they that we ruin the whole vibe of the interview his Jassem to his dick out. And honestly, I don't give a fuck. We did what call her. Daddy does. Yeah. You're if you come on the call her daddy podcast. Yeah. We they were asking to come on. It's not. And they're like, oh, didn't they ask you to come on? No known boys. We did not know this man was in town. He's walked in the room. And we were like all right. We'll take your pay on. Let's see your dick. And he didn't like that. So you can go home and cry about okay? So I wanna talk about Instagram for minute. Okay. Because I feel like we always give some little tips about Instagram for guys specifically because I guys it's hard for guys with Instagram. So let's Snapchat has kind of died unless you're like sending nudes and Instagram stories are really where it's so. But to be completely honest, I rarely emceeing. Guys that I follow us stories, and it is a huge mistake. Okay. And the milk hunter uses them in a pretty brilliant systems. So he everyone loves a good poll. I don't even care if I like, I don't even know about the question is just wanna see like what the answer the Senate J ATO. So what he does is guys. This is going to be a pretty good trick for you guys to get your fucking up. All right. So you're going to make a story poll. Okay. And you can like throw in some random shit. Again, guys, we're we're supporting this because yes girls, we need to keep our Shing lean need to keep our shit water base and enough with all these fucking chemicals that are giving us the good old bacterial infection because like you said Sophea, then you're out of commission. So many caring about you. You don't want your girl fucking out of commission early a thousand percent. Okay. So a lot of girls have been asking us. I mean, actually guys two guys are actually pretty up there too. About deleting pictures with your ex on Instagram. Yes. And it's like the girl actually one of the girls gave me three options that she wanted to know, which we would choose. She said number one, should I just keep all the pictures and just like embrace it too. Should I delete them or three? Should I? Keep them and just change the captions, Alex. No, I think we both agree you, delete them all delete them, all delete it. I know a lot of you guys are like, but it was like a huge part of my life were still on good terms. No one gives a shit keeping our Facebook. Right. If you're fucking shit on Facebook. Nobody wants to sit on your memories or a good time. Not this is the thing guys and girls, listen up if you are keeping pictures of your acts on Instagram the minute the opposite sex goes to your profile. There's one thing there's two things they see and they see you with a potential ex or current one. They could potentially think you're like a slime as cheater and you're just like trying to DM them, and you have an actual girlfriend or boyfriend. So that's number one. And number two. They could look at it. And know, it's your ex but be like, okay. So there clearly so not over that person to lead that showed Alie I would like make that assumption too. And the girl mentioned that she would just change the caption like, what are you gonna change the caption? Like my long lost cousin. Good old good looking into mind, stepbrothers half, others, sometimes stick my tongue down. No. I also think you, and I always talk about it. Like, you go to guys profile, and if you see him even with someone that like, look like go friend, even if it is his sister. If he doesn't like straight up say, this is my sister. I'm like, I honestly leave the pay done. Good bye Dadi gang.
