just up the road in Oakland county to pine knob and it's really special to see some of the acts And this is a great time to after a couple of years of not being able to go to live concerts get back out there That's so good Last fall I think it was in downriver and I'm embarrassed to say I've been to downriver but I've never really experienced it So now I know basically it's down river from downtown Detroit and dot a whole bunch of other really cute little towns What a cool place Well said Dave this is a hidden gem And in the tri county area of Wayne county Oakland county macomb county It is just bereft of there is just a plethora Excuse me It's not bereft There is full of hidden gems And there are 42 other communities in Wayne county besides Detroit Detroit gets a lot of the press Dearborn gets gets quite a bit of it But you go downriver you've got excellent food You've got really fun vibrant summer activities all the municipalities have festivals and art fairs and music out on plazas It's just there's just so many ways that you can experience the downriver area in Detroit I tell you there were so many things I loved about it I was horrible I don't remember the name There was this little restaurant that made spectacular kind of like burgers most like slider burgers and then they had like an arcade attached to this restaurant It was spectacular And if you go to wine dot you'll find it So don't worry Don't even need the name You'll find that everybody will tell you where to go And that's the thing Yeah the Detroit air is a big area But it's as friendly and neighborly as any community anywhere in the world Absolutely Just talk to people They'll tell you where to go That is exactly right What makes Detroit special and when I say Detroit I truly mean the region of Detroit From down river all the way up to northern Oakland and macomb county It's a community of people that care about each other And when you have the opportunity to travel get to know the people have a conversation with somebody that lives in Sterling Heights or Rochester Or why and dot They'll tell you about the history They'll tell you about why it's special to be there They'll tell you their favorite place to go And when you go there you're not going to be disappointed There are other theaters performance areas Freedom freedom freedom hill That was a cool place And then you think about I'm really into architecture So I've also been to the excellent Eleanor fort house many times Yes Spectacular And it's right there And you have to go there because that's where those two lived in this kind of I don't know what's up Tudor style kind of mansion I guess Beautiful Right You've got incredible gardens They've just put a museum in there to show the history of the Ford family in addition to the mansion itself So when you go there it's right on the southern end of Lake saint Clair the lesser great Lake that we have here And it's just a fantastic place to visit We can't say the Ford family without bringing up the Henry Ford The Henry Ford museum Greenfield village the rouge truck facility I don't know if that's reopened yet But fantastic Yeah so Henry Ford Well whether you have young children or whether you're a car enthusiast whether you're a history buff there is something there for everyone to really soak in and just experience And this is a great time to visit the Henry Ford Greenfield village take a tour of a working assembly plant you can see some pretty spectacular things at each one of those Henry Ford had a better idea in so many ways just a genius the whole family And what they did for Detroit what they did for the world putting us on wheels putting regular people on wheels truly started the modern travel industry as we know it today And now what's happening in downtown Detroit Now the Ford family is putting in this EV facility and the old train station Yes Very cool Very very cool That's still a couple years away but going down to downtown Detroit to cork town There's many experiences there You can see but you can see what's coming here in just a few years Can't wait to check it out again in the Detroit area both downtown and as Christopher said check out those other areas around downtown as well You'll be so pleased you did And if you'd like information on suggestions specifically where.

"888 889 49 or retire like Frank, Calm, Frank Beckmann Show News Talk 7 60 wjr. Welcome back into the show. Everybody going to get to your phone calls here at 808 590957. In just a moment. We first want to talk about the big push that's coming in the auto industry toward electric vehicles. Is it realistic? Well, the federal government, which has a Fleet of about I think it's 350,000 vehicles or so and the President Biden has committed that the entire fleet will be electric. They're going all electric in the federal fleet. And so it's only a matter of time. I suppose until all of us are looking at electric vehicles. Problem is the price. You know, they cost a lot more to make, and that's going to. Ah, that's going to shock some people. They're going to get some sticker shock. I think a great column on all of this great great piece in the Detroit News by a pair of reporters, Brianna Noble and the Lady on the other end of our line. It's called electric Vehicles are coming. Can Michigan's power grid hold up? This is the first time I've seen anybody take a look at this issue because with the electric vehicles they've got to be charged every night, as you know, and you've got to charge him on the road at charging stations that will be set up and built. But the question is, will our electric grid be able to handle all that activity? Let's get Kaylee Hall in here. She's kind enough to join us. She's taken a look at this along with Brianna, and I'll tell you what. Kaylie. Congrats on doing that's his first time anybody thought of that, and it's It's really a stroke of genius for you to come up with this idea and cover this story. I really mean that Thanks so much, Frank. Yeah, Briana And I've been thinking about this for a while, Um and we knew that we had to get it out there. And, of course, you know, with General Motors, recent pledge of limiting gas and diesel powered vehicles by 23 5. You know, just kind of made it like we have to definitely do this story and push out. So it's like the great timing to show you know what this all means for our power grids. Basically, what we found is there's enough energy. But the question is, you know If we all work to have electric vehicles in our neighborhood, could we charge and the answer is it could cause him problems. A two current great never asked the other part. That was really interesting to me. You had a quote from Benjamin Burns, a marketing director of DTE and he's involved me evey program and he said, it's not until we have one million to 1.4 million electric cars. Before we see a significant number of quality issues. Right, Right. The right now. I mean, um The rate at which people are adapting Tonto, You know, electric vehicles. It's not outpacing, you know the infrastructure, right? But if it does, that's when where you can have an issue so Um, you know, it's cos I mean, the companies realized that's what they're doing is they're figured out ways around. Um you know what could happen with, you know potential, I guess. Um Just quality in our in our use of electricity, But they're realizing that's what they're doing is they're they're incentivizing evey owners tohr jah different times off peak hours, so that when you come home, not plugging in your TV also running your air conditioning. Your oven, you know, turning everything on it once. That's when the system is like overloaded. Um and that could cause a problem if all of us were to have these electric vehicles at one point under, too I wonder if act in the 19 Hundreds when Henry Ford was coming up with the idea for for our motorized vehicles, whether people were warning him about the availability of gasoline and then ways to fuel the cars as well, that that happened, you know. I don't know that that's a great question. I mean, I'm sure. Um, you know when we were switching from horse and buggy tow vehicles that we were having the same discussion of what this means for us, Um, you know what it means for our our energy systems and what it means for us just everyday behavior, so we don't think about so. Um, yeah, I'm sure that there was some type of discussion about that back then. Okay? No. No need to give me credit when you and Brianna cover that story and do it next week. No, but this is this is serious stuff. When you're talking about this many vehicles, we're talking about the entire fleet of federal vehicles. That President Biden has committed to attorney into an electric fleet. And that's a ton of vehicles that you're that you're talking about here. I think, 30,000 or so. Yeah. I mean, there's no question that you know, with what we've seen from GM and other automakers, and you know that. Obviously that announcement that Eve these are, uh you know, they're the future. We need. Tolo. Except that and learn about it. And, um, you know really start. We're going to really start digging. I think this year more of what this means for consumers, and not that we have done in the past. But, um, this is a This is a changing time, and it's gonna be changing over the next decade. It's gonna take time. Obviously, this isn't you turn on that. Foot switch and everything changes. But it's important for us. T realize the impact on, um you know, on our lives, and that's why we just did the story because we knew that It was. It was definitely going to be a question at some point, so we wanted to get Tomo. Sure we, um, had it back. I mean, in addition to this story, we have a sidebar about you know what you need to know. Before you buy an easy what to think about when it comes to home, Charging, So be sure to check that story out of well, all right. We will indeed and Are they going to take off? Do you think Because I know they're expensive. That's one thing that could be ah, drawback for awhile, But maybe the price will come down when the whole federal government fleet and I, I miss. Uh, I misspoke about the number of vehicles in that fleet. You're talking about more than 500,000 vehicles in.

"You by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Project. Yellow Light Noise and the Ad Council. Sports Talk 10 50. W T K a. The ticket. All right. Welcome back, everybody. We're joined now by Lions head coach Matt Patricia's They get set to go against Carolina. This brought you by DTE Energy. All right, Coach. A lot of talk this week. We hit this on the TV side about injuries that the Panthers have been dealing with The bottom line is this everybody on that roster is dying for an opportunity there ready to get out there and, you know you guys have to be ready. Regardless of who shoots up and who doesn't? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that's the NFL. When you get into November, and things were gonna happen, there's gonna be injuries. There's gonna be changes in the rosters or the lineups and everyone's just gotta be prepared to go out and play hard. There's great players in this league. You know, in every single week. Teams are going to come after you and you got to be ready to go. So from that aspect of it. We just got to go out. Play a good game, You know, try to do what we do well and and see where it goes from there. That said, Did you find yourself preparing for three quarterbacks this week, and if so, how difficult and how much of an added workload. Yeah, Yeah. I mean, I think for us, you know, we obviously prepared for Teddy Bridgewater. But, you know, we're always ready to adapt and adjust from there. And so you know, we always want to do our due diligence. So when those situations come up that we're ready Mike Davis is kind of stepped in for Christian McCaffrey. He's done a great job. This guy can can duel threat. You can run it he could receive. You can catch it out of the backfield tied for the league lead with 25 broken tackles. You better be sure on this guy. Yeah, no doubt. This guy is strong. He's solid. He's got great, low center of gravity. He can move direction. And, you know, I think he's just one of those guys where you think he's going to run through people every time and then he does. And then all suddenly changed it up with a really good dead leg and goes around you, and then it becomes a big place. So you see on tape. You see the miss tackles. You see how good he is, and I think again like you mentioned Obviously, with Christian McCaffrey on, We all know what a good receiving back he is. What you don't understand is how good of a receiving back Mike Davis is. When he gets the ball in space. You know, they get him out on some good route, some option routes out of the backfield, and they're going to get him a ball. And then I'm gonna break a tackle. It's gonna become a big place, so he's He's a great threat for them, and we'll have our hands full with him. Eat a big plays. They're receiving corps is a big play waiting to happen. Robbie Anderson's between it for a long time D Jame or that the only two teammates that are over 700 yards and then Curtis annually is their guy on third down outside of the problems the other to present Yeah, absolutely. I mean, there's you know, there's three great players out there on the field. And if you you know, don't account for for one of them. They're going to hurt you real fast. I mean the speed that they could get vertical with and also the speed of which they run. Their intermediate routes, you know, makes it really difficult on some of that underneath coverage because you got to get back. You gotta get your death. And if you don't those Windows air just open and I think that's where they're really hurting. People in there just you know, and then on top of it when they catch the ball, those guys are doing a great job of yards after contact and yards after catch, so When that standpoint, you could really see where that productions coming from saw some really positive signs from your pass rush last week. Romeo's got four and four games ever seen comes up with five quarterback hits in a sack that be big to take with you on the road today. Yeah, absolutely no doubt, but we understand. You know, it's a little bit different each week. You know, these are mobile quarterbacks and get out of a lot of trouble. You know those guys, they move around a lot, and we've got to rush it The appropriate way. Otherwise, you know, we're gonna be in a situation where now The quarterback takes.

"Sports Talk 10 50 wtkk. Everybody lives getting set to go today against the Washington football team joining us now as promised line coach. Matt Patricia, brought to you by DTE Energy coach third Quarter of the season starts today. Great to be back at home great to have another opportunity to win in a particular talking to guys this week. They were pleased they don't think with the way they played against Minnesota. They feel like there's a lot better football for them out there. It's great to have a chance to go out and do that. Yeah, we're excited to get back on the field, and we I think everybody's in the same boat. Everybody wants to coach better and play better, and we know it's gonna be a big challenge for us with Washington. They've got a lot of great players, but you know, really, for us. It's gonna be about you know how we were. Play today. Let me get you to talk for just a moment about Alex Smith. Great comeback for him first start in two years. I am sure you respect the talent, the drive the dedication and just everything that he is showing through this incredible fight. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I think it's a remarkable story. I think you know, obviously tremendously tough person and determined to get out there and into his credit, you know, has gone out and played well, so you know, great story. Unbelievable. Courage, toughness. Everything you know, you want to talk about as far as determination to come back from That and just the you know the utmost respect for him. What about his talent? What does he bring? Because you watched him for a long time. This is a guy that that's been in a lot of different situation. What you bring on the field? Yeah. I mean, he's extremely smart, You know, first foremost, you could just see how he identifies what the defense is in and how to get the offense in the right place. You can check places for lunch Scrimmage does a real good job of deciphering coverage and makes a quick read. You know, he's really good at getting rid of the ball on time. And, you know, understanding what the coverage is taking away and finding through his progression where he has to go with the ball, And I think that zit something you see right away. Terry McLaurin is on pace for a monster season. This is a really talented guy. He can catch the ball in traffic. He runs after the catch. There's not much he can't do. He's gonna be a challenge today. Yeah, no doubt. I mean, we saw him last year with it and just, you know, you knew right away as a rookie, how impressive he was and how good he was gonna be, And I think he's just continued to improve and, you know, he's a major issue for us to have to deal with out in the field. You know, he can run a lot of the routes you know in the Roundtree can run vertical You can run intermediates. You can run short and you know, then after that, Have to tackle him, and that's just a major problem. Antonio Gibson's guys kind of burst on the scene for them as well. I know you want to stop the run. That'll probably means starting with him. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, he's a big, strong guy. You've seen him really kind of just come into his own in the NFL game. Obviously coming out of college was a little bit of Ah, projection assed far as you know, how is he going to do, But I think he's absolutely just, you know, taking that challenge and and just, you know, literally run with it. I think he's Amazing at his vision and his personal acceleration on really, just I think the thing for me that I see is just how strong he is as a runner. He is powerful, powerful guy. You don't get a good hold of Amy don't tackle him. Well, he's gonna break a lot of tackles and he's gonna go defensively for you. Just one last thought and probably something to keep an eye on today. When you have played your best. You've won 1st and 2nd down and you've been an advantageous position and third down. Just thoughts on that going into the day and the importance of that? Yeah, no, no. I mean, you always want to be in a good situation there earn in the early downs, you know, and not put too much pressure on yourself for third down. That's something that you know, we talk about all the time and not being in those bad situations. So it is important to do in this game. Certainly. Offensively, had the chance to talk to a couple of guys this weekend and talk to Matthew. I think we're all just happy to get back a little sense of normalcy and actually have him out there practicing. That's a boost to everybody on the team. Yeah, no doubt. I mean, obviously he's our leader, and the team follows him and you know, it's just great to have his presence back out on the field, and you know from that standpoint, he raises everyone's Level of competition through practice, and we know that carries over the game. So was good just to get back to normal. They're a little bit We have talked about some good defense is that you face this year. As far as talent goes, I don't know if you'll face a more talented front than these guys have five number one picks up their lot of were still young and figuring it out. But these guys will get after you all day. Yeah, no doubt. And then really, You know, when you look across the board, you know from a first year player, Second year, third year, fourth year and then obviously a savvy bed, you know that There's some some great talent and some experience there on top of it to help in Thies guys they can get After it. They can play the run. They can rush the passer. It'll be a big challenge for some from and their number one of the league against the past and a lot of that comes from that front. But they also have guys in the back end to make plays. Fuller's got four interceptions so far as he has come back to Washington this year. Yeah, no doubt. I mean, you know, I think those guys fuller and RB, you know, maybe get overshadowed a little bit with the pass rush. But honestly, those guys are holding off a lot of the routes in the deep part of the field, which allows the rush to get there. I think those guys are playing outstanding on the on the outside the perimeter of the defense and, you know, just really given that pass rush time to get their coach. Good stuff. Appreciate it. Good luck out there. Okay. Thanks so much. Take care. All right. There is lying. Take coach Matt Patricia's They get set to go today..

"To be enforced and to be adhered to yeah. What I've been doing research on this topic the term demand shock has become one that young folks are using that it's not the lockdowns. It's like the demand where if these cases are going up people just aren't spending they're making different decisions. Absolutely. I mean, you know human beings we really crave stability and it doesn't matter if you're a high income household. You're still going to be at the whims of Behavioral psychology and you're still worried about losing your job or what's going to happen 6 a.m. From now, so your probably scrolling away cash. You're not taking those trips. You're not eating out at those restaurants. You're not making those to make purchases. And so you've seen the US savings rate and actually am strangely enough the overall Us credit score average FICO score. I think has gone up two or three points in the last several months because if you can you're hoarding cash and paying off high-interest debt. Well you were thinking about that Runway. Let's Circle back to that really quick because it does not look like we're getting a covid-19 financial backstop from Congress and it doesn't look like we're going to get it at least until the end of January 8th of February if there is a change in leadership and if there isn't there probably won't be one what kind of impact is that going to have on the ground you were talking about people running out of Runway. This is something where I feel like it's kind of under covered that there's a whole bunch of people that are hurting right now and there's a lot of people that are going to be feeling pain that haven't been in the near future the student loan forbearance ends at the end of December. A lot of people that receive a mortgage forbearance has they were I think they care is act allows you to push pause on your mortgage for six months. A lot of those those households are starting to have to pay for mortgage again, a lot of the federal support for unemployment that came out of FEMA is running out. If I were trying to visit best position myself, I would make dang sure that I have at least two to three months cash on hand to get you know, scratch cloth bag borrow steal to make sure you can get too early February. It's going to get worse before it gets better. Do you think that's going to impact employment as well? There's a bunch of suckers that haven't been hurt as much as something that we're going to feel traditionally retail and and food and Bev has been alcohol it unspoken Safety Net in our economy with all due respect to the men and women that have those jobs when you were in a pinch and you needed work the US worker could kind of always rely on retail job. Food service industry for work and that has been decimated right the last seven months. And so the safety nets been pulled the kind of gray Market safety net. If you will, we replaced it with some federal support in the form of the supplemental unemployment and also some of the the stimulus checks that came out but what I think you're seeing is is this is really becoming a tale of two economies. And if you're you know, a low-to-moderate income household and the last seven months odds are much greater that you lost your job, right? If you still have your job the odds are much greater that you are deemed essential employee and you had to go to work you you faced increased odds of being exposed to the virus and on top of that you probably don't own stocks. So you you probably haven't appreciated a lot of The Upside that the market had well at least not until recently a lot of outside the market had the last seven months. So on the other hand if you were from a upper middle class or a better household notwithstanding the South Impacts that were all facing from this if you come from a place of means, you know, you kind of living your best life, right? You're probably working from home you get in to spend more time with your family your 401k probably higher than it was seven months ago. We probably haven't lost your job your exposure to the virus has been minimal or or kind of at your discretion. It's kind of tragic in my mind. Hopefully, it really inspires them to change a lot of things about how we've organized our economy. There's nothing unique and be saying this but I think the virus has been an accelerant. It's almost as if somebody pushed fast forward on our world you thought about twenty years into the future and we're just having to try to deal with the Fallout and real-time listeners have a lot of hyperlocal questions like so local that outside of your window of your office. You were working outside of your office in that Detroit's nascent. Come back has really been pinned on Commercial developments and office spaces and the hotel sector. I mean, yes, there's residential but soames Of it has been offices and things like that. Do we have a clearer picture of what those sectors might look like then we talked about in the spring and how might that impact Detroit and what's Happening Here. I lived in the city of Detroit for a really long time. And you know, I remember once upon a time my friends and I would cheer the opening of the CVS. I remember those days. I was probably across the street from you. We probably were right and maybe the tragedy is that Detroit took was a little bit late the pendulum swinging towards urbanism. And so a lot of the progress that's been made to last, you know decade or so has been disproportionately impacted by covid-19 talked to my Economic Development Office, especially the real estate ones. If you're doing a residential real estate deal in the city, you're probably full steam ahead right America's budget for their home either as a rental or your their Homestead that they own thoughts higher than it was seven months ago, right? We're spending much more time at home. And so I think you'll see if any maybe even an acceleration of residential real estate projects in the city small business walkability dead. Ground floor retail. Wow. Yeah, I don't even know where to start seven months ago. It was food fashion or Fitness. Those were the only three apps that you could really put in the ground floor of a building and now off all three of those have been really depressed by koven as well. And and it's kind of us how they'll come back. I'm extremely nervous. I love living and working in a urban environment. I love talking to you know, do yoga and get a cup of coffee, you know by ice cream, whatever just like the next person and you know into bed on Saturday around cats in Canfield, right? I'm very grateful to see a lot of those businesses are still open and that they're still serving their their areas in their communities one. I think really positive thing that I should mention is the mayor's office and a tawdry of large Employers in southeast Michigan have embarked on this project their calling Detroit means business. It's being led by The Usual Suspects, you know, DTE Energy, you know, Quicken Loans Etc and they're really focused on bringing a dog. Really really really large-scale campaign to support small business in the region that's capital technical support labor Etc to really serve as a buffer or off or on what might happen with small business because if your if your DTE Energy or if your TCF Bank you have a lot invested in the small business Community here in Detroit and you don't want to see them suffer because those are our customers right? I'm not directly involved in Detroit means business, so I can't really speak to just how ambitious their efforts are. But I'm I know it's there's a lot of great people involved. I think very highly of I'm I'm very optimistic about that commercial, you know, the real estate above the second floor. It's kind of depends on who you talk to some people think that there's going to be increased demand for office space because your floor plate density will be lower wage because you need more social distancing some people think that work from home is a Genie Genie out of the bottle now and we're never going to go back to the office, you know, the answer is probably somewhere in between if anything maybe a name. Sting byproduct of covet is you'll probably see one of the great business strategies of 2019 was the fall of we work but there's a really strong argument to be made that co-working spaces is you know, what kind of temporary incidental occasional places to work? We'll probably experienced a Renaissance so, you know Tech town and we were are probably immune from what's going on. So maybe maybe more than you.

"Good buddy to great DTE branded T. eight a year many afternoon on the network CBS sports network with with tiki barber B. how are you I'm good Joe how you doing buddy I heard your birthday today my correct about is yeah what do you do for you yeah I'm over forty south fifty north of forty Brian now I'm not too far north of seventy so I would have listed their way ahead of VP let me tell you hello you made it this far well it's as far back as healthy so it's all good but it's a great point at your place of god today so I don't know it's a good thing your your pump so I was a game but we haven't talked in awhile complained yeah get out a little bit right it's only listed you know the deal it's a work in progress source you know I'm I'm one of these guys who who loves the game you know I'm a range rat yeah just like I was with baseball love taking B. P. extra swings that's just my nature but it's tough man I mean I I really thought I'd be better at this point but still quit there's some days where it's where it's rocking a little bit there's some days where I almost hope nobody's on the course and nobody sees it my swing depends on the day I mean it really depends on the day but you know like you know I I love golf and I've yet to quit jail cell yes a couple of cocktails loosens me up today no I I I always got conference you brought is that there's no doubt about what is the bottom line I learned is that a long time ago well I would never going to be as good as we want to be seven Joe the bottom line is this man we will forever be first acknowledged that statement yes we just started way too late in life yeah I mean it's it's if you start early and you begin to ingrain somewhat of a smooth functional swing path in your in your mind and your body you you got a puncher's chance to be decent when you start playing when you're twenty five like I did just about and you were if you were much later that I was older than you are now I think either forty seven or so when I saw it wow yeah it's tough you play catch up with you know what what what else would you were if if you're not working you know it's been profitable what else would you rather do that don't play just don't understand I don't years I know a lot of people that of course you don't know but you know once you get out there once you get to feel what she it's a decent shots you know I have a couple good old maybe get a party every now and then you're like well you know what this isn't too bad it's like you moved walking up the fairway you feel like you're flying in the ranks and I understand I agree I so I I got to ask you to use your overall thoughts we going to see because I'm very skeptical I know baseball finally got this the their parameters set out for the season and everything but I am very skeptical gonna see any eighties TV sports what do you think about that yeah hi me listen Joe I mean the bottom line is this when when you do a show especially doing a national show like if I was to a local show like you would have and the web is off now but you can obviously focus on some of the new show of of the actual local teams when we which is fun and which is a nice you know a nice diversion from from the reality of of the situation and when you do it a national show you you've got to kind of look at you from the macro level and the macro level is this I don't know if you're where the probably are but you know two days ago the coronavirus cases soar to our highest single day total since April twenty five April twenty fifth with thirty four thousand five hundred prices two days ago we have thirty eight thousand so how the hell can anybody with any sort of confidence and conviction first of all the the most you know brilliant scientific and and and medicinal minds can't even point us in in the department of direction sports talk closer to make sense of this so I try to stay in my lane I tried as young Mortaza did leave the negatively because the last thing anybody wants during what our show is is a three hour diversion is to just be you know negative Nelly everyday all know whatever gonna get back we're doing dot is that gonna be sports why even try what you got to inject some optimism but you've got a whole subject realism into it which I've tried to do and and I'm worried that it's just me Florida is a mess I mean Addis's Orlando bubble work base at all yeah there's a lot of play in the there's no handbook for this to navigate he's got to go day by day and see what the new cycle gives you do you think we'll see football on target all along I said why don't we see if somehow to get the NFL season off and running now I'm still on the kids though it may be that back we'll find out a little bit what do you think it's funny I had a similar thought to join me in you know the one thing and and I said this to take the other day is not many things you want to take from the XFL I mean I think everybody probably grew with that bright but the one thing you might want to take it they had like a a nice team almost with no again not a not all data nineteen but no affiliation and and you know the a team to play in the league not that I watch the XFL but rate wise I hear you there eight hours we got part of that's it Joe I did even better on the XFL which tells you how all right just that I was right he generally up right so that I could I get a point I read but there was a nineteen so that if not not for the virus clearly but if there was an injury you know you're not just pull guys off accounts at least there's guys who were staying in shape kind of like in a in a in a camp and I think that the NFL would be very wise to to maybe implement that here because you're going to have throughout you know periods of the season you can have you know look while okay so it's it's a Thursday and the and the cowboys are playing the giants in you know god forbid you know for property giant right your friends are as come but no question would you cancel the game I mean it's right there's going to be two years right Joe I mean I could ramble on and on I I honestly don't know but I do agree with your with your main assertion I was pretty confident that we would get to a point in July and certainly August and yes well the where when the spike in in the fall with the flu and all that I I get that but I really thought we'd we'd get the season started ice deal on time I still do but far less confident that I was back in March when this first hit us with a great branded Tierney of course does a great job and you have to do with tiki tiki barber of course on the network all right did you model out of situations get which it would have been way on yeah you know let's hear your thoughts on all this insanity first of All I Want in in in the most succinct fashion give me your thought well I wanna I wanna wanted to eat hi I'm sick and tired you know here we are the worst drafting team probably in any NFL history I know over the over the last decade they worry we're dead last out of thirty two teams are drafting in the in the decade from ten to.
