What next-gen consoles really mean for audio

"Up on it moving on from there. Let's discuss three d audio for second is covered this. I'll probably do a video but dax on the ps five and on the xbox they do work it's crazy. They worked very well. They're very loud dax or again digital analog converters they take a digital signal from your usb that's pipe from the console into this chip and the chip then translates it into something you can plug your headphones into some better. Some are worse. The nice thing about bow systems is they work overall. They seem to pump out the right amount of volume which was an issue with the past consoles in particularly the ps four. I was also question. Does three d audio play through those as well as the tempest. Three d audio engine. Play through your deck and give you those upgrades it absolutely does. Let's talk about three d audio just for a second three d audio slightly weird on both systems on the xbox they do have a hardware chip for three d audio. It's very very impressive chip. But they didn't name and didn't bring it forth as something to really discuss where sony called. There's the tempest in gems and it is very powerful additionally you also have software kinds of systems. Dt s. you've got at most different support for those as well and what these do what they're supposed to do is not only help you with your normal stereo separation and you're channeling but with atmos in particular and others that are full three d. It's supposed to make you feel like the audio is coming from very different points in the game world and not just discreet left indiscreet right or somewhat muddy left in somewhat muddy. Right now the past systems did have some support. Like i said for. Disd ex As well as at most on the xbox on the ps five. You can't get this through. Hdmi be aware that the only way to get the three d audio effect that they're going for is through. The headset plugged into the controller. Or a deck. Why bring it. We'll because it's not the greatest right now spiderman has some okay three audio but the best one is probably call of duty when i was playing call of duty with the three audio both on the xbox and on the ps five which i gotta admit were about identical in their quality. I didn't really actually feel like the. Ps five was much better. In fact. I've talked to multiple people who play both and i don't think anybody does the for example in the second part of the first level. There's a helicopter that flies over your head. And if you have all the three d audio setting set on if you have a nice stereo system or headphones for the xbox or if you have your headphones or adapt for the ps five. It really does sound like that helicopters above your head. There's some really nice of the three and some effects which i'll start covering more reviews but as it stands right now. The big question is is the three d audio a feature that you're missing or a feature that they missed and i would personally say at this time. It is a feature that they have missed. We have not seen a jump in the three d audio really paying off yet. I'm sure we absolutely will. As these companies come more to grips with what's going on and everybody sort of gets out of that emergency panic mode which we see right now. Where a lot of these companies are just trying to get their games out there so that people can play them. I'm a big fan of three the audio. I think it's great. I have the three d. pulse from sony. Which by the way. A lot of people were assuming. That was a special headset. You need for the sony playstation five. You don't you do not need that headset. that's a normal headset. there's not anything like magically special. That's a branded sony headset. That they've made some adjustments to nevertheless a normal headset will work as long as it's not super high power requirements is long as you plug it into the controller or the dak. You will get those. And i think you should try it. You should definitely play with those and adjust them with the xbox again h just works looking at and sort of stepping away and looking at three d audio. there's an excellent gamasutra and g. d. c. video on on youtube game developer conference where you can read about gears of war and the three d audio there. If you want to really hear how three d audio is done well in a game go check that video out. It is a longer video. It's like forty to fifty minutes. But they cover everything from clues in sound reverberates bouncing different layers discreet abilities for particular surfaces to eat up sound phenomenal job in that video. You should definitely check it out gears of war.

"We're joined now by life Coach my patricians. They get set to go against the Vikings. This conversation brought to you by DT Energy I coach to start right here. You obviously had some situation with Kobe crop up this week, Each of those individuals will be handled. We'll see what happens in today's game. But overall, how difficult has it been to just remain on course and get ready for this game when you have those type of things going on? Yeah. I mean, it really just give credit to our players. I think they've done a great job of just trying. Teo. Stay consistent through the course of the week to your You two. Go on DH know that, you know, I think that's just 2020. Right now. There's distractions. There's things that are going on that everyone's dealing with. Everyone's handling and our guys are are the same. But they're trying to come to work every day to get better. And that's what's been important. This week. Probably doesn't hurt that all. You need to hear his Vikings NFC North and you know what this game means against your attention very quickly. Yeah, no doubt. I mean, it's obviously great to go in the Division No one that we got an extremely tough opponent that Khun, You know that's playing really well. And, you know, obviously big game last week. For them, and they're going to ready to go. So for us, you know, we got to really focus in on the Vikings. It's we step on that field and we're ready to go. It's all about trying to do what we can to win. Hey, ever seen Griffin and listening to some of the guys? The one thing that I've heard mentioned a number of times is the energy that he brings, And I think that's what seemed to have jumped out to a lot of people, not to mention the fact he's a guy on the edge. We can certainly use it got some injuries right now to trade in particular. And this is a guy that can come in and help. Yeah, no doubt. I mean, he's you know, really our first week working with him, and I think he's you know, just brought it every single day. You know, he's got great energy, great work ethic. Hey, obviously, you know, wants to go out and play well, and he's excited to be out there. So I think from that standpoint for us, you know it's been it's been really good to have mount there, and obviously, it's got great knowledge of the opponent that we're playing. And you know we're excited for it. So you know, it should be good. Dalvin Cook Job wanted a huge game last week. His talent is you're going to find in this league 30 Kerry's last week and it certainly seems like Minnesota is going to continue to feed him until you prove that you can stop him. And you guys past three weeks have been much much better against the run. Well, I mean, certainly this will be a huge challenge for us. I mean, I don't really think anyone's ever really stop this guy. He just continually runs He runs hard is explosive. You know, the offense knows for the Vikings. They could just give him the ball and you know he can carry the workload for the entire game. So That would be a huge challenge force. We're really gonna have to play well upfront to do a good job stopping the run. And you know just that's difficult when you've got, you know, great skill players..

Militia members allegedly discussed kidnapping Virginia governor

"A bizarre plot to kidnap Virginia's governor it was unearthed during the investigation around a similar plot to abduct Michigan's governor. The news was revealed in FBI testimony about anti government groups and their scheme to incite chaos and violence are story from double DT Opie's Christi King. The FBI warned key members of Ralph Northam security team, but a statement from the governor's office. He and his staff were not informed. Enhance security measures already had been in place for some time at no time. Was there an imminent threat North and being mentioned as a potential target for kidnapping comes from FBI Special agent Richard Trask. Trask is in court detailing evidence against six men arrested last week for allegedly plotting to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. They reportedly participated in a June meeting in Ohio with members of paramilitary groups from multiple states said to be angry about pandemic related restrictions ordered by the governors. Biggest Mistake Lawyers Make in Debtors Exams

"What what steps give me two or three that people typically take that they shouldn't be taking. Well, the first one is that the typical attorneys first thing they want to do is well. Let's get them in for dinners exam. And the meantime, we'll be sending out some interrogatories will interrogatories are written questions that they have to answer under oath. Yep. They asked the same questions generally that they would ask in a deposition. You know, where do you Bank? How much do you have in? Where do you work? Where's your investment accounts? All those kind of common questions. Are they bring them in for a deposition and they give them what's called a subpoena DT which is subpoena duces tecum, which means bring with you the documents are the records and they Faith bring up surprise surprise when they get to the deposition, they don't have any or certainly not eighty or ninety percent of the records. They're supposed to bring in the ones they bring are incomplete wage and the questions they answer are all dancing around the truth the facts they always say, oh you met those bank records I misunderstood you wanted took all my records. I thought you just wanted my personal checking account. Oh, well, my my attorney has those they're working on our taxes. And of course I couldn't bring tax returns because they're not complete yet, ma'am. Soon as those are done. I'll really get them to you and it's just not effective. I think that taking an early deposition before you have the answer to at least eighty percent of the questions and I know this is kind of a strong position but I think it should be malpractice because the only thing you're accomplishing with your early deposition is you're telling them what you know and what you're after so they can really go hide that information and make it much more difficult more expensive if not impossible to get it. So it's better to get the information about the legal process have it then ask the questions to the 20% that you don't have the answers to your probably not going to get the truth. But at least you can get some perjury on the record wage. So when you do get the answers to those you get some additional charges that you can hold over their head to encourage them to settle.

Boston - Patriots Practice Squad DT Bill Murray Becomes Second Player On COVID-19 Reserve List

"Teams closely linked to covy nineteen, the new, England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders. Well, moments ago the Patriots placed a practice squad player Bill Murray on the Reserve Cove in one, thousand, nine hundred and the Las Vegas. Raiders did the same for their defensive tackle Maurice Hurst both players. Now go on the covert nineteen list, and again you hope that they're OK and that they're safe and well. But the bigger thing is you wonder about the rest of the organizations. The Raiders of course, find all that money yesterday for players participating in Dr Waller's charity event last week in the New England patriots going through the scare that they did this weekend where Cam Newton tested positive. There have been nobody else that tested positive on the Patriots Organization no other tested comeback positive clearly this practice squad players some time today this afternoon develop some symptoms, and he now becomes the first Patriots since Cam Newton to be placed on the reserve cove in nineteen list.

We need a few ideas. How do I look at things with the ancient ruins? Look like when they were intact for example so was a few ideas. We can do that. So when you're doing your work. Are there moments when you feel like yes? I've I've really connected and this person has been opened up to the wonder of what I've loved for years. It's a moment the SA- crossing the threshold at some moment. When you see that look in their eyes that they're right there and sometimes I invite them to remember to think of themselves at home packing their suitcases before coming to Rome and ask him think of where you are now the real thing and the real place think about this and as he that they look around themselves they do these moments. I mean now. Travelers can enter the coliseum through. What do you call it? The gladiator entrance on the stern entrance. And you're on the arena on the floor and you can hear the crowds and you can see the wild animals and BSE. Imagine nation is absolutely ignited finding moments though as a teacher. I mean anybody could just walk through some Gaetan look at the Coliseum on the inside it must be nice for you to able to have an entry that makes sense for the story that you're trying to tell. The story is the part I. I don't think you know after twenty years of talking about these things. I think that it's not so much the stones in themselves as was the stones have to say I mean the idea that the stones carry cultures carry stories that but we can think about and we can understand the past but we can also understand ourselves and having a conversation with those stories for you in other words the art can actually be more than just enjoying something fascinating or beautiful it can have meaning can have important the cost the coliseum. I mean the colosseum is bricks. Stones was the colosseum as a place of violence as a place of politics. It's a place where there is ethical moral issue that comes up with his. It mean that these people went to watch death all day long so it becomes a an occasion to reflect on the use of violence and propaganda. That so interesting because a lot of people go. Oh those Romans I mean arena. That's the word is sand right to soak up the blood. Absolute that's why it's called an arena because Covered with sand. So all the bloodshed on the opening celebration of the Coliseum. How many animals were slaughtered? Has Nine thousand or something like that? I always recommend working with perception to also think okay violence. But what if they'd been ancient Roman sitting in the audience and I saw my first lion never having seen a photograph line on knowing what a line looks like a lion pounces out of the floor for the first time. Two thousand years ago without zoos and circuses documentaries would that meant so we can put ourselves in the shoes of people of the past. It creates a different understanding history and culture. We don't need to be quite so judgmental and we also have to remember. What are the top selling movies for us? You know. They're the shoot? 'em Up the Schwarzenegger movies on this kind of stuff. The the wrestling the car racing everybody waiting for a crash. I mean there's a lot of consistency between twenty first century and two thousand years ago might challenge as a tour guide. And I would imagine you're too is helping people see things in that context. I mean today we go to Roman. It's a modern city sitting on the ruins of a city that used to have a million people. There were a million people in Rome two thousand years ago. How do we envision that? How do we appreciate pass key? But the imagination needs to be informed so if I say that Roma's the first city in the West that reach the population of a million that an antiquity was the most populated city on the planet. And there will never be a million people in a European city again after Roman to London in the eighteen hundreds there you can start thinking that and then you start saying well. What did it mean to provide clean water food housing to over a million people two thousand years ago with did it look like and then you're there all of a sudden you're there and you're thinking like them and you don't bring your baggage of perceptions of moral codes and ethics but you're thinking like a Roman and then that's the transformative aspect of travel that you can be in the shoes of another person of another time might challenge and I just love? This is to not look at it from yeah. I've been there done that. I've seen it on TV. I saw that movie. You know from the twenty. Oh we've got taller buildings or whatever put yourself in the context and then you go. Wow they had a sewer system for a million people. They brought in water for a million people. They cooked bread for a million people there. Rick it happens if you're on the other side of the world and you didn't know book it's one thing if you're in place and you can imagine you can think you can reflect. You can feel are things that can happen if you're that to not happen. Otherwise is doors open as he's Windows. That opens a comprehension. Remember we talked about once fell to The Catholic pilgrim to walk into Saint Peter's for the first time for one hundred years ago. It's that idea of putting ourselves in the eyes in the shoes of travelers on the past

"You explain how your role has evolved between tether and embiid Phoenix and kind of wary? You currently sits. Because there's some confusion over the organizational structures. We didn't have to get into the banking and and kind of creation and asset component of it but But where do you spend most of your time on the infrastructure is on the other side or is this just a but the discrepancy? That doesn't really exist. In fact it's more just a organizational chart issue so you know I my exp- by have a really good expertise also in insecurity. So that is one of the reasons why in two thousand sixteen I was asked to stepping us with your Phoenix so I steal mine. Main role is to act An amazing team of developers in Phoenix any better debtor has less developers because most of the operations are on chain of course us well known blockchain. So the key part of my rolling Patter Is ensuring that blockchain's That we are going to has older climates that the we won't in terms of issuance redemption authorisation processes. So that is what they do in patter and also decide. The processes in which these insurance is redemption. Needs to happen so I that is I really I'm I'M BREATHE. Thorough and read annoying when it comes to security So Basically I spent quite some time design a designing All all these processes in between instead. I said I would say most of my time because I read called a lot there Old The basically I I mainly involved in mentioned engine and all the processes so I would say that I still Dimension engineered steel ninety percent me and the old that also the core service is still eighty percent me. I would say to. Let's let's talk about Tether I because it's just seen absolute explosion in volume and in new creation particularly or last quarter. So there's there's two things that I think we've talked about. One is the transition that started people. Forget only about a year ago Between Omni tether and then the RC and crx tether which are in been the case now trae USD this now traded and and And held on the theory of blockchain is Over five billion now which is larger than us DT on Omni ever was I think even units peak which round. Yeah three billion this transition. That really only happened last year. Can you talk a little bit about what ultimately led to the migration to a theorem? Might sound like an obvious question answer but but not only what led to that but also the decision making process for when to flip the switch because on the one hand. It's obvious there's a ton of develop activity. There's a ton of interest in those certainly. The capabilities are C- Tokens to salted a type of transferring creation. Like this but on the other theorem itself as a platform is certainly not ironclad from from a security standpoint and the last thing you want to have happen is any issues with the fungibility of a dollar denominated token during a chain split or a B migration do chain which is basically. What thirty two point. Oh yes so First of all the the moment when we decided to create Tighter on On the theory was really an fewer. No that was really end up two dozen seventeen. "Time and here we go. I nap of the overtime. The broncos event three overtime games this year it's thirty tip overtime against the steelers. I mean the fact that the broncos made it to the playoffs that year was absolutely crazy. I mean you have a team where you started with. Kyle Orton. You end up trading him because you know the Broncos were so so team few games under five hundred you had the crowd chanting. Tibo in the stands. I think John Elway and company that was always first year. I think they finally said you know what? Let's let's give the people what they want. We'll trade ordinary way. We'll tell you brandon Lloyd away and we'll see what happens not really expecting anything in fact. I'm sure there was a part of the broncos at that at that point when they start. Tibo that said. Hey you know best case scenario somehow. Someway he wins. Worst case scenario is probably the best case scenarios. Were so bad. We get a really high pick in the first round. So what happened. You remember magic happened. It was crazy. Tebow had his moments for sure but there were crazy things that happen that year. That was one of them. I mean Pittsburgh goes into that. Mommy Clark doesn't play in that game because of that was that rare disease where he He can't function can't breathe well in In the altitude that actually did affect him and safety so they don't steal don't have him there. There's one on one coverage in the middle of Field Tibo does hit that Rao perfectly. Dt gets arm seal later magic moment overtime game over. Yeah I I absolutely think the Broncos should should bring him back league minimum is for vets. What is it like over a million dollars something like that? I mean I would imagine you could get him for something close to that. So that's our our power to play. Sports poll question of the day lanes has obviously if the price is right. I take me as the veteran status. Which team can use? He would make a great number three. The problem is that it could hurt younger. Wide Receiver Development Brandon says. If he could start catching the ball better he did. Have some some Some issues he wasn't the best when you when you look at his receiving ability. His athletic ability was there. I don't know if I liked how the Broncos used him. The last couple of seasons I was. I agreed with the trade. The trade made sense at that time but I could see him coming back in a small role capacity and I think it would also be kind of a feel good moment for the Broncos team that just saw two of their final guys McMahon. Von Miller laughed but they saw Chris Harrison Derek Wolfe two big pieces to their super bowl years. Go by so I mean if anything. It's almost not necessarily morale-booster for that locker room. But maybe for Von Miller for fans just to have one more guy back and does he still. Have you know something left in the tank? That's the question you know with the jets in nineteen. He played in eleven games. Battling injuries he had thirty six receptions and touchdown production not absolutely awful the year before that when he split between the broncos. And the Texans. He had eighty nine receptions or excuse me fifty five targets eighty nine but he had sixty sixty receptions that year and five six touchdowns something like that. I'd take him for the League minimum. I think it's a feel good story. And he's GonNa Retire Bronco. He'll be a ring famer and Colfax if he turns up man he could if he actually has something else left in the tank. Who knows maybe you see a guy. Dt start to move up a little. So He's nine thousand and fifty five yards receiving. He said his goal is to hit the ten thousand mark. I think only like fifty players of done it at Receiver Sixty touchdowns Rod. Smith ended his career with the broncos at eleven hundred and three hundred eighty. Nine eleven thousand. Excuse me three hundred and eighty nine and sixty eight touchdowns. So he's got his spot there cemented at the top it's really it's it's DT Rod Smith and then Shannon Sharpe the top. Three the restroom. You go down down quite a bit you know. Lionel Taylor and McCaffrey all the six thousand yard range. But Dominica's Thomas has a chance to if the broncos bring him back who knows if he does a one year deal. Maybe a two year deal finds a way to get another thousand yards. Maybe break that touchdown record for the broncos. That's all wishful thinking. I don't know what he has left in the tank. It's Portland Sutton's team at wide receiver. And if the broncos draft Henry Rugs I'd love that and maybe have a DT thrown into that mix suddenly. That's a decent looking wide receiver core your thoughts on that one. Go vote at the whole show dot com. I'll read the results when we come back more on The damaris Thomas and the prospect of HIM BEING DENVER. Bronco just what he meant for. A Ward of the Probate Court

"Welcome back my friends to the big book podcast. My name is Howard and I'm an alcoholic sober since nineteen eighty eight one day at a time in this episode the Thirteenth Story from the personal stories section of the first edition of alcoholics anonymous published in nineteen thirty nine. It's entitled Award of the Probate Court and was printed only in the first edition of the big book. This relatively short story provides a glimpse of the formative years obey when old timers were those with two or three years sober but whose perseverance and dedication made possible a solid foundation for the entire a movement and now the original story award of the probate court at about the time. My graduation from high school a State University was established in our city on the call for an office assistant. I was recommended by my superintendent and got the position. I was rather his choice in pride but a few years later I met him in a nearby city and panhandle him for two bucks for drinks. I grew with the institution and advanced in position. I took a year off for ten minutes at an Engineering College at College. I refrain from any hilarious celebrating. Drinking War was declared. I was away from home on business at the state capital where my mother couldn't raise objections and I enlisted overseas. I was on five fronts from Alsace. Up to the North Sea upon relief from the lines back in the rest area being rouge and Cognac helped in the letdown from trying circumstances. I was introduced to the exhilaration of intoxication. The old spirit. What the Hell Heine may have you tagged. Didn't help towards any moderation in drinking then. We had many casualties but one of the real catastrophes was the lost of a POW. A lieutenant who died from the. Dt's over there after it was all over. This didn't slow me up and back in the states I had a big fling before returning home. My plans were to cover up with my mother and the girl I was to marry that I had become addicted to alcohol but exposed the fact on the day. Our engagement was announced on the way I met a training camp. Buddy got drunk and miss the party booze had got over. Its first real blow on me. I saw her briefly that night but didn't have the guts to face. Her people the Romance was over to forget I engaged in super active life and social fraternal and civic promotion of my community. This all outside my position. In the president's Office of the State University I became a leader. The big flash in the PAN are organized and was first commander of the American Legion Post. Raised funds and built a fine memorial. Clubhouse was secretary a belks. Eagles Chamber of Commerce City Club and active as an operator officer in political circles. I was always a good fellow and control my drinking indulging only in sprees and private clubs or away from home I was deposed from the executive position at the college by political change in the governorship of the state I knew the sales manager of Securities Division of a large utility corporation in Wall Street and started to sell securities the issues and the market were good and I had a fine opportunity. I was away from home and I began to drink heavily to get away from my drinking associates. I managed to be transferred to another city. But this didn't help booze had me. My sales and commissions diminished. I remained almost in a continuous stupor on my drawing account until I was released. I braced up got sober and made a good connection with the steamship agency. A concern promoting European travel and study at most all important universities in Europe. Those were the bathtub gin days and for drinking in about my office. I held out in this position for only a year. I was now engaged to be married. And fortunately I got another position as a salesman for a large corporation I worked hard was successful and my drinking became. I was married and my wife soon learned that I was no social drinker. I tried hard to control it but could not. There were many separations and she would return home. I would make pledges in a sincere effort and then my top would blow off again. I began here to take sanitarium treatments to satisfy my wife and my folks I had a great capacity for drink and work with the help of Turkish baths BROMO SELTZER ASPIRIN. I to the job. I became top notch or in the entire salesforce of the country. I was assigned to more special territory and finally into the market of keenest competition. I was top rate and salary one bonus awards and was bringing in the volume but there was always the drawback. My excessive drinking made at times I was called in once twice and warned. Finally I wasn't to be tolerated any longer. Although I was doing a good job I had lasted five and a half years. I lost my wife along with my job and find income. This was a terrible jolt I tried for a hookup but I had a black eye marring a good record. I became discouraged and depressed. I saw relief with booze. There began the four black years of my life. I had returned home to the community where I had been so prominent these were dry days still and I hung out at the clubs with bars. I got so I would last on a job but a few days just until I could get an advance for drinks. I began to get entangled with the law arrested for driving while intoxicated and drunk and disorderly conduct my folks heard of the cure at the state hospital. I was picked up drunk and sent there by the probate court. I was administered. Parral to hide and came to in receiving ward among lunatics. I was transferred to another word of less violent cases and I found a little group of alcoholics and junkers dope addicts. I learned from them the seriousness of being award of the probate court. I felt then if I ever got released. The old devil alcohol would never get me in a jam like this again in times of great distress. Such as this I would pray to God for help. I was fortunate and was released after eleven days and nights brought up in the laughing academy bughouse. That was enough. I wanted no more of it. I took a job as a manager of a club and put myself to the old acid test. I was going to really assert my willpower. I even tended bar part of the time. But never imbibed a bit. This lasted about three months. I went to an annual convention of my overseas division and came to locked up in a cheap hotel room. New shoes suit coat hat and purse missing. I must have slipped badly then followed much drinking in trouble. After a few arrests for intoxication the law decided another sojourn to the State Hospital would tame me. They jumped the stay this time from eleven days to eleven weeks. It was getting tough for me. I came out in good physical condition and held the fear of getting probate again thinking the siege might be eleven months. I got another job. Stay Dry for about two months and off to the races again. I became terribly weak. Couldn't eat and try to get nourishment from booze and mostly only bootleg that one time. I just made it to a hospital and another time. A police patrol took me to the hospital. Instead of jail. I suffered badly from insomnia as many as three shots in the arm had no effect I would get in shape and back at it again. I was going to battle to finish. The time came when I was to be paid. My soldiers bonus I had the limit or maximum coming friends. Advise my folks to send me to a veteran's hospital before I got this money in my hands. I was pro baited again. Held in a county jail for two weeks and sent again to the asylum. This was my summer resort for three months. I was on the waiting list for the Veterans Hospital but I got into such wonderful physical condition from eating and working out of doors that I was released. I reached home full of resentment against my folks for their having my money tied up in a guardianship I went out and got saturated and landed in jail. I had been free from the asylum for about eight hours behind the bars again. So soon this was bad however I was freed again the next day and this was my last confinement with the

"Severed Cisco Forty niners also made a big trade. They sent one of their blue chip. Defensive Lineman away in a trade deforest buckner dealt to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for number thirteen overall pick The writing I guess was on the wall for Buckner in San Francisco when Eric Armstead of the niners got a five year. Eighty five million dollar contract on Monday on Monday so they couldn't pay both of them. They chose Armstead so buckner goes to the colts. He's a big time. Disruptor West a guy that's Star and the colts at a major piece on their defensive line. Feels like a good trade for both sides really. Yeah I like this deal for both sides. I understand why the forty niners did it. They basically chose Eric Armstead's versatility over deforest buckner being more of an inside player and the colts. This is what they've been waiting for. You've got all that cap room. And they got criticized last year for not using it but they wanNA spend it on guys who weren't difference makers they didn't WanNA spend it on guys. They really have to a year later so now they had eighty million dollars. Cap Room. You go out and get deforest buckner. This is the kind of guy you want to build around. And now you've got Quinton Nelson on one side. You've got areas Leonard and deforest buckner on the other side. "The word. The malia comes from the Nullah or Tom Ali which literally translates to wrap food for those that don't remember O. W. R. APD are a PT DT on the edge of its seat is rat wrapped. Yeah Wer For those that don't remember Or just a reminder now what is the indigenous language of the Aztec people of Mexico so still spoken through Mexico in some small communities So yeah wrapped food. A date cannot be pinpointed but it is said that the first Domino's were made as early as seven thousand BC. Seven thousand. And I didn't even think food existed back then which means we as humans and as a site. I've been eating them for over nine thousand years while I wonder how much the recipes changed changed since well since Chris was born. Whatever all the they are not quite what we know today? Because in early days of the Malas corn was not fully domesticated masticated at that time so instead they used They would use something called. They'll seat which is an ancestor of corn. Okay with the corn they would make a cornflour that is made into dough that the would then be filled with anything meets honey corn and somehow the more I read even Flamingo which which is a me but still. It's a weird it's weird. That is not what I expected imagining on Flamingo Hunting. That would be weird. I just went too far off. We don't get to edit this either. The my lives in the pre Christian era had religious significance. And we're using a ceremony is being offered to the Gods at various festivals while those gods must have been happy for example the Msci Asia people offer the Jaguar. God being the Ellis shrimp ones were offered to the fire. They were to Aztec holidays in which were more prominent I there was Christmas. Optimal squall literally celebrate celebrate my broad of the corn. God Did you practice out. And then the other East Kylie in which they under the fire Gods during Tamales as a gesture of rebirth cool outside of religious ceremonies. The food was favored because they were easy to transport in times of war after the brutal invasion of Spain and conversion of millions of indigenous indigenous people to Christianity Melas made their way into Christian holidays. Tamales are also became more elaborate because the Spaniards brought with them. I'm checking pork raisins. And other foods with the which incorporated into the Raisin tamales imagined cutting tamale and just like a bunch of raisins poor others fruit route ones to which I don't prefer. I prefer savory once but yeah there's fruit ones. Oh my God okay. with the Spaniard did also allow the families to make their way to other countries south of Mexico ago for a bit in the early nineteen hundreds tamales decreased in popularity in Mexico because political leaders saw the food as peasant food. Oh really interesting. Although thankfully people were much smarter than that and brought back the tradition as an agent of national unity and Mexican identity call the malaise of course eventually crossed the border north as well in Los Angeles in the eighteen hundreds at one time there were parts all over the city. That were almost got banned Imagine the Pamela AH truck on every corner music. Tamale Cart plays Many white people thought of the car's dirty port and thus saw the food the same way awhile. Yeah of course that didn't last too long and into the early nineteen. Hundreds of food became widespread throughout the United States. Making Tamales is quite laborious. boreas easy to say the least actually did know that because our friend has made some last year and he was talking about how much of a pain they were. That's how I know. Often communities are families would would gather together what is call for what is called a tomato which they would get together to help each other and making tamales in Bulk Doc This is something I can attest to you as I remember going up in New Mexico and often seeing this in being a part of it as well. I don't know how to make your family. Make Them Oh yeah. My mom always used to make him. Yeah although less can and are in any time of the year. They are quite more prevalent during the winter holidays. No one really knows why. But but some say it is a tradition that takes after the as dick traditional honoring gods but instead at Christmas honoring saints and of course Jesus perhaps it is a comfort food that just makes us warm or for people like me. It's just in our blood. No one really knows for sure. One time Thought as a ceremonial food. A Food of worship than food of the poor they can now be in in many places across the world although you can buy them in a store nothing can't compare to the the the model is that come from the kitchen of your community or family They they are food that brings everyone together whether to make them eat them or just celebrate The mileage an important staple to Mexican to Mexicans both indigenous and non-indigenous alike AAC and of course many other countries and people. It's not just the food that is amazingly good but for that is steeped in tradition and culture and definitely something. I could never get sick of so this holiday go out. Purchase the from a street vendor. And for God's sakes please remove the husk before you eat. Oh my God. I've heard that accent white people it. Well there's the POMONA incident. I don't remember which President he did that. And it's called the Great Pamela in really well that would taste awful Awful wow was that interesting at least that was super interesting. I like that whenever you'd said hike. Eat them every day. Hey Hon because I Thai food every day so I really want some time. Ali's tamales tie stuffy. Could you imagine imagine or like maybe just like a curry or some kind of sauce on them. That would be so good. I like my pretty authentic. How did you stumped like? Did you know no like hey I want to do this on. Tamales stumbled across this story. And we're like I've always known that they've come while for one. Christmas is a big time for us. So that's where I kind of started. But they als also knew they came from the Aztec peoples. I really wanted to see what the traditional that is super

"Will we do with day? Aft Microsoft Technology the future realizing the future estimates realize he got except future is up to you got off. He's not around. Look been trying on the script. It's up to these Whitewater. Let's see what the Chad has to say about this because this is percents. I can't I can't deal with face and honestly never vibe with it's never it's never even made ever since but oh shoot him. Gotcha you I mean. They sound like Commons in a lot of movies I've seen and he's still generic light skinned black dude. I'm not changing back from that. That statement to similar was in movies and apparently according to paradox the superintendents of black man. He's getting his job back. Yeah you fucked up. uh-huh Superintendent wanted you. Fire you probably at the school that day and was just like I didn't like him. Anyway I think one of the MOMS was the one who was in Excuse me what are you doing. The moral status I can't and and lasting at school one is angry parents angry parents. And I I just think that general torches and pitchforks the people. And if it's a charter school. They're the ones they're half private half public so they're the ones who get. That's where you get your money from. You cannot fuck with that. But obviously he didn't care and he decided that dressing up in in black face made the a lot of sense. That's not a that's not a I'm going on a blaze of glory move. That's a I'm trying to do something. Yeah I want to ask the kids on their level. People love shake things up when it's other people's things they shaken up. Yeah Yeah exactly. He thought he was making lean on me so she almost beat the kids. I just actually more offended by the wrapping. Honestly that's been the most expensive part I know I'm not like the black face you got that it's cool your pantyhose. Don't it looks like I can't find it sucks dammit. I can't find in anything around you. Turn the sound of somebody who has great idea and when they get halfway into it they realize realized thought he would pull out. Well you know what I the upgrade storm I hate. I hate to derail the conversation. This wonderful wrapping. But since we're on the topic you know black just black faces the segue every movie trailers. We had to that drop today. Okay to great movies and actually you know what what what is the debut Tuesday nominee to say that slowly essentially for me true Tuesday it raising the temperature in a couple of degrees now. But I think that with the trailers that we have today it's along the theme of Afro Foolishness once once foolish was positive and a AH going onto toast. You get a dose of the foolishness yesterday and so I decided to bring it in today. The baseley in full force. And so we're going to break it down. We actually have one and I'll tell you what we've got bad boys. They released a new trailer. But this time aboy's life bad boys for life and I know that you saw the first one but a EH. This is telling us the real story is it is telling them you know what that's been waiting for the real story. I feel like the first one did anyway. Melpomene will come home. I know you've been eagerly waiting on your seat for this to drop sure. I love more than sequels that come way later on his taught us. They need to stop as a product of my time as a as a nineties child I grew up loving that all right. You know what this shit is doesn't do. We know what it is a two thousand two lap bebbase. Too Bad boys two came out in I. It was ninety five five ninety five and ninety five was the first one it came. It came out the year as Morton Ninety five still in high school. Oh my God so the second one which was good. I I enjoyed it okay did you. I don't know if you I enjoy seeing none of them. None of them. Oh well okay I think you would enjoy the second. The first one was good and the second one I think you would was Michael Base. I feel like Martin Jokes aside growing up with it It's actually it's not in the same tier of caliber like the nineties. Black fix the really good ones or the really bad ones. I think it's actually just a generally going to actively okay and the chemistry between Martin Lawrence and will Smith is Aussie honestly so on point that it makes an enthusiastic to watch. It's it's kind of the same reason why you watch you know rush hour. We got the straight man short. Sure sure sure enjoy pants. Joy Pants is always good. He really is. He's in those. Okay yeah he plays a captain and he's hollering and screaming but it does. I'm sorry he says some funny as she okay and and the other. I've always always good mixed on the second one today. Sir Did it to me. I'm with you billy. I actually liked the second one I but I like the first one just as much because I just grew up on him. You know my favorite. I mean my favorite black movie of the nineties is is more money but but it's not a you'll sided with him the sometimes I usually come back that Ooh that black movie that you like to the guy on this island by myself do I watch it at least one hundred times. It's just some charming adeane twice but.

"Nobody know yeah I wouldn't look I'd even take the news with scared because the cartel go kill them. If they walk away. I'll be I would even say they could keep going to look like they also he's. He's got a real bloodless because I was like there's a point where he he has them all trapped underground tunnel. You could always just flip that with gasoline and blow them up but now ramble no he's. He's running through going yeah over here in the fall. I gotta I gotta get somebody down. He built all this tickly meticulously. Show you in building every single one of those trips. It's not like a montage yes. It's not like like okay. He went to build a couple of them and then time lapse and you know he's done something. Nope they show they let you see him build every single one of them all the nails he's putting in he's filing down a metal surprised. Let him go that loan. I was surprised that you didn't see a Mexican caught in the mouse trap with a piece of cheese. Take a big mouse elaborate. Yeah the Indiana Jones Bowl to come down rolling after one the bills you notice how he got his face cut up these these big Frankenstein's stitches by the time you finish those traps. It was pretty much healed so it's like it's like was he out there for months. It's awesome Luethi man because I saw his face hill so well. I mean he just had stitches. Don't even have the stitch marks in there. I mean seriously he was looking. He was just looking like chucky like a day before and I'm tell you man. I I at this point if we look if we're doing this just happens motherfucker go for a fishing trip at Camp Crystal Lake Virginia. Hey Jason Versus Rambo Teenagers Start Missing. Go go to go just doing it. It you know and maybe it has something to do. I mean because you're right Alexandra over there. He said he made a great made. A great analysis is they look at you know it just feels like it was in was another action movie with Sylvester Stallone whereas the Big Guy Picking on cartel nearby make Pairs Rambo saw yeah because it starts out with no connection Rambo except he's suddenly having Vietnam flashbacks out of nowhere out of nowhere that don't pertain to anything thing else yeah yeah and they cut in man like there's no yup. There's no big no big reference with not even duct tape masking tape. Yeah I'll tell you in. Maybe has something to do with direct director Adrian Gruenberg who apparently has a thing for scary Mexicans. He did that movie get Pingo. I guess he loves Mexico Yeah. I'm surprised he's not he's not going to be like of trump's personal filmmaker. After this right propaganda fills Hitler had his own feel making propaganda films you see trying to kill saloon. Delude stop them this is this is so different now. It's almost like the way the the way the fast and furious kind of change into something indifferent because like I say this is this is really this is not what this movie was are. The series started out to be a matter of fact if whip punctuates that is probably the best part of movie which is the in credits where they just do a slow montage of all the Rambo movies and you watch them. Just those those pieces they show from again in the end. You go yeah. That doesn't time with this. All this really was its own thing I mean yeah you leap from first blood to the second second movie Rambo but it's still stuck with it has nothing to do with except Oh look. He has an Arrow like he did when he was yes. You know they always do that like I was like just juxtaposed. Oppose him against old footage like right here just to keep reminding you because it's easy to forget this ramble. Let's keep reminding you. Oh yes the same character you save night yeah crossbows Arrow and is like and what did he did that the increases they got the nerve I said don't you fucking do this. You don't don't don't don't don't disrespect act and they were like you won't tell us what the new exactly ninety nine even is the first the first blood I'd say don't tell us don't you look if you WANNA put two from on and then I might be okay okay with the don't put first blood in there. That's just got done disrespectful and Yasha stay for the credits because they do the dumbest shit not only do they show flashbacks to some of the older older movies when they run out of footage they start showing us. We are ready so success so they put up like like I just saw ought is what they're doing. I don't believe I don't need a reminder putting black white like old now they get lost in a stellar brought me right back to Earth with this yeah. They tried to be nostalgic over the movie. We just saw remember. Rambo was fighting the cartel so you mean five minutes ago yeah trying to get stupid but I'm gonNA tell you man. Listen just to drive the point home here a just like the way the fast and furious has changed now you can argue with that. Movie has evolved a default deibel series right. You know some people say it's just something different. Tell me this series has devolved man. It's has gone nowhere but down your least favorite Rambo movie gets it is it is it is so much different from his origin. No the the the the the original first blood was eighty two when I came out of eighty eighty okay it was you you know it was a movie that dealt with a vet who was dealing with. Ptsd you know about it. You know on the town sheriff that just keeps pushing him. They knew he was innocent. Darn to dislike you lock and they didn't give a damn. They don't to touch shave. Don't move. I don't want you to get your own John Rambo the one man who's been WANNA say he didn't total slap the I am neckar snapped but it was still a profound message that wasn't action film no doubt now but it was still sort of a profound who was a message film down to it. It was about how the the the nature of war what has war does to the person physically and mentally and trying to fit back into normal society after being in a war especially like Vietnam Yeah especially Vietnam man you know and here's something to think about like I said these movies they relish death now. That's what that's what they have. Four even run out of ideas is all about how how to kill people whereas now how creatively kill people if you think about the the first movie that first movie there was no death. It was one in person I think one person that died in the dumps parts of the movie to kill one person and it was the dumbest thing in the film. It's Rambo took a took somebody out with a so you took a helicopter with Iraq or he took he took a sniper from a helicopter that would Iraq didn't even hit the guy he just hit the window of the helicopter and the Guy Like Flinch the Oh shit are fuck aw we accept joe fall so it was no doubt an action film and I only have one kill count 'em movie and even and then I was kind of silly but the rest of the movie is you know if they in they had had it their way by going by the original the ending of the book Rambo he winning be alive they act. I think they killed him. At the he died at the end of the book I mean and that would make the most sense because you you watch that movie and he's taken out a whole town and use like yeah. That's like a rabid dog yeah. He's going to be put down no matter what so for him the comeback at another movie and being sent on Missions Oh Jesus came Rambo first blood part two do out there at least call his second balloons I just would have been stupid but you know with this movie their statement on Oh. PTSD every fucking by the UC so bester stallone is back as Rambo rap. Graham was best combat that I've ever seen his mission to locate American POW's Vietnam that you'll find someone it is not to engage the enemy well so much of it and that's what we knew. He was losing his Goddamn. We'll look you already established. He's a he was a time bomb and you know as silly as this movie is it really is all about at the time the popular thing was man they really really treated the veterans wrong and POW's and we gotta bring up boys back. Leave no man behind it got jingoistic it did it did it did and ain't increasingly more for maybe saw spider on a helicopter from there like like we'd sit it. It increasingly got more jingoistic and even look even take that but then it just really became more about the kill count yeah in the films uh-huh I mean even starting with this. This one is like from from par to par threes. It's kind of like how you know doing in what the eighties was doing man it was like all about explosions and how all these set pieces and how he cooler with look to blow up things and blow up people and and that that's fine but like I said I got to a point where it started out as something deep yeah and then you know it wasn't just an emphasis on killing anymore. The emphasis was on Gore right in the in the in the in the character to it got to the port the audiences the character in the studios just relished not in just killing but not in just how creatively how gory they could kill people to the point where it was the movie just knew the series Noodles Making a mockery out of itself Rambos greatest hits featuring all of your favorite classics rocket launcher man it's killing me softly and quietly crazy me and my arrows keep in mind that the move is still about a guy with PTSD who can't deal with Shit and they laugh about it yeah when he fights the Russians and sets up the Taliban the emphasis now is all Gore not action is not explosions. It is completely own Gore at this point with these with these films now you know looking at how because it just doesn't work out what they're doing here. You can't have still best silvester stallone taking pills and having flashbacks and voices in his head and then sit up here and turn us into attorneys supposes Sologne might as well be a playable character in more combat. This pool is live fatalities on this rich. He rips off. SOMEBODY'S COLLARBONE L. A. Bone Yeah reaches a hand and just brakes peaceful breaks up. Take somebody's heart out law. This is the mortal combat shit you know this is this says whereas gone you know this you have this. They still trying to have the best of both worlds trying to have this guy who suffer from Pitas be you know he's a he's a war suffer and and then you try to mix it up pretty much not even cartoonish but video game violence is i. I you know I don't I'm not GonNa say I'm insulted but it just doesn't work well. It's also it's not like we don't see things with the cartoon violence but usually there's some level of fun onto it and there's none of that Nah. Nah You know what it is time. This is just so ugly to get so silly toward the if in the movie that's the the thing about it. You know you you hit it right there if the movie was not taken so seriously I mean 'cause stallone is putting all these corny what he thinks his deep narration ratio on doing these one liners. You know it's funny too because the movie starts out kind of sweet movie stars out kind of you know I mean is corny but it's like asleep but his bad like it. Lets you know rafter bad. Hey this is not gonna be a good movie so don't even don't even think that well for one thing is nothing but exposition yeah you knew your daughter to because originally do we want to work and it's like this is not all that this is not story This is this is all setup. Rate is so like I said you've seen it before. They've done that whole thing with the hero trying to go after the the daughter. Are the daughter figure that in commando we've seen it in taken. We've seen it done better in many of the movies not I'm not against it but I love of how this all starts because the daughter wants to meet her dad and everybody's told her your dad's he's a bad man. You'll meet him and she goes to meet him. He's not a bad man. He he is a cartoon Super Villain. He's a complete as he goes out of his way to be an older he really does. I mean Goddamn Inviting F. A. T. I listen I mean could they want you again. That's where the cartoonish part of the movie comes from is very flat flat. That's what it is yeah. They want you to know it has no development. They let you need to let you know that these people abandoned right off the bat. I'm looking trying to look up the girl's name I mean I could seems girl being very promising some of the same thing I was like well. She seems okay. I bet you if she was in something else. You'd be Fine Yvette Montreal. I guess a Monday I'm like a Gringo. Not My my real event. My real plays the the the the dot wealth the you know the surrogate daughter or the niece in the movie she is. She's not bad I mean I hate to say it. 'cause you know something horrible. Horrible happens to her but in the context of this film is it coming. That's what you get because.

"You're caller ID may say DT energy with actual DT energy number. But that's not always the case. So we want customers to be aware of the red flags that you're about to be part of a scam. And that is if somebody calls in threatens to shut off your power within a certain period of time, unless you pay a certain amount of money in a specified form payment. And nowadays that payment seems to be more bitcoin a virtual currency than anything else. But those things occur. You should end the call in call DT customer service at eight hundred four hundred. Seven seven four seven four seven. You will be connected to the actual customer service organization at DT, and they can verify the status of your account. So you want everyone to call you who's gets hit by the scam. Instead of just hanging up. Oh, they can hang up as well. But we want to know about it. And they should also call their local police, how many people do you think are being scammed by this? Well, I I can tell you last year we had reports from our customers of two hundred eight separate incidents of phone scams. And unfortunately, those customers lost a total of two hundred and seventy three thousand dollars that's one energy company at one St. multiplied by who knows and it could be in the millions. Now the assumption is that they're generally taking care of the elderly ovo ninety percent. According to our data ninety percent of DT customers being scammed our business customers, and again, those are just those who report there, obviously are other people who probably don't report phone scams and being taken because they're embarrassed. They're just out of the money. Right. There's nothing you can do because it has nothing to do with you, really, correct. And that's why we have customers call local law enforcement as well. But it's difficult. Because the phone numbers are bogus. They're hard to trace the form of payment is difficult to trace. And frankly, I'm a lot of local law enforcement agencies. Just don't have the resources to pursue these crimes. DT spokesman John Fawcett with NewsRadio nine fifty seven McNeil. Well, there's word now the governor Gretchen Whitmer is expected to endorse a plan to raise money to fix the roads. But as w j Lansing bureau chief, Tim scuba tells us there is a catch governor Gretchen Whitmer is expected to endorse an additional six hundred seventy five billion dollars for the rose by diverting all of the state sales tax that is now at the pump. Currently, none of that sales tax revenue goes into the roads, it goes to schools local government and mass transit instead, nobody will confirm this. But there are strong indications. The governor will outline this tax shift in her state of the state next month. She in the legislation would have to find the six hundred seventy five billion dollars taken away from the schools and going into the roads to hold the schools. Harmless reporting from Lansing. W w j NewsRadio nine fifty ground. The drones now this is Dave Ross on the CBS News Radio network presented by Dell small business. I'm one of those who thinks the government shutdown never should have happened. But there is a shutdown that needs to happen right now. Newark liberty international stopped flights when drones were spotted nearby enough ground the drones now, I have friends who loved them and would never misuse them. But as with guns, it's always a few who spoil it for everybody. And it's the FAA doesn't act now there will be too many. And it'll be too late. Did you hear how close they got one pilot said the drawing was only twenty to thirty feet from his plane here how high they were drones flying at about thirty five hundred feet. Yeah. The rule is four hundred feet. Someone tell me why company is even allowed to make a drone that can fly higher than that a hobby. Drones should be mechanically incapable of flying higher than four hundred feet and to even turn itself on it should have to dial up an FAA computer over the cell network and post its position in real time. And the moment it gets anywhere near an airport. It should lead itself at the nearest police station and turn itself in as evidence until drones can be redesigned to do this. They should be grounded. And this needs to happen before some company starts building shooting drones and claims they're protected by the second amendment and never want to hear Kris van cleave. Say airline pilots report a very close call ever again,.
