Gas Prices Reach Record Highs, Again

"A new marker yesterday gas is hit $4 a gallon in all 50 states. In California, $6 and 29 cents a gallon for regular. I'm thinking about someone stuck on the 55 and the 91 coming in from Marino valley over to the coast or someone coming down from Santa Barbara or the one O one into LA and certainly those very long commutes up into the city or Silicon Valley, $6 and 29 cents a gallon. You know, yesterday, Joe Biden invoked the defense production act for baby formula to make it easier to make baby formula. I think he should invoke the defense production act to make more gasoline. Does anyone ask him that in the press corps I'll ask Michael to share that. You know, it was a big deal. The DNP, the DPA, defense production act for baby formula. Why not the DPA for gasoline?

"A lot of DMP, you could lose 5 pounds per week. You talk about a miracle and just a little bit more and you can be dead. Yeah, now here's the problem. What happened was, as more and more people got on the bandwagon and saw they could lose a huge amount of weight. People were running temperatures. They started knowing that thyroids were having a problem. Then a lot of people developed cataracts and this was before cataract surgery. And as I joke, can you imagine being able to fit into your skinny dress and not see how good you look in the mirror? Because you are blind. And then people started dying, dying like flies. And so the FDA in the late 1930s, 1938, is one of the first official acts banned DNP for sale. But it turns out that in 1978, it was discovered that DNP worked because it was the first known oral mitochondrial uncoupler. And DMP was so effective because it literally turned human beings from being Toyota priuses, which were very fuel efficient to being Ferraris which are incredibly fuel inefficient. Now, as I talked about in the book, there might be reasons you and I would want a Ferrari rather than just wasting fuel, but the point is, these people through fuel out all these side exits of their mitochondria. What does it become when it takes the emergency exit? It actually produces heat. That's why all these people were running a kick-off is just nothing else. In fact, looking back at Gendry MD, we have a number of products with thermogenic compounds. Compounds that we've known for years produce thermogenesis. Make heat. Lo and behold, every one of these compounds, uncouples mitochondria. And lo and behold, that's why their thermogenic compounds. They may eat. Okay, so now I think we come back to phenols, polyphenols, specifically, what are those, why do they matter and how do we begin to get into the new friendlier ketogenic diet? So, DNP, dinitrophenol. Pheno. Where have I heard that word before? Polyphenols. Polyphenols are used by plants to protect their energy producing organelles, which are there mitochondria, but they're called chloroplasts. So let's go back to us for just a second. Oxygen, we have to have oxygen to make ATP normal. Oxygen is very damaging to our mitochondria. All these free oxygen radicals, blah, blah, blah. So we can't live without oxygen, but we can't live with it. And so we have to sop up the damage, the oxygen it does. Plants on the other hand have to have sunlight, and they kind of reverse engineer, they take photons from sunlight, combine it with CO2, and they make glucose and ATP. Sunlight is damaging to the plant. Mitochondria, the chloroplasts. So they actually generate polyphenols to protect their mitochondria from damage. Their chloroplasts. We get to see every fall, the polyphenols in plants because the green chlorophyll goes away. And all of those beautiful colors of yellows, oranges, reds, dark colors, are the polyphenols that the plant generated to protect and uncouple the mitochondria plants. And it turns out the way they protect the mitochondria is to uncouple them, to make them work less hard. And the less hard there mitochondria work, the less damage sunlight does to them. Now, we plant and the polyphenols in plants do two things. Number one, we don't absorb polyphenols from plants very well. But our bacteria actually love polyphenols. They're actually a prebiotic fiber for bacteria. And the bacteria then convert those polyphenols into absorbable polyphenols, which then go to R mitochondria, and uncouple them. Every time I say this, I hear The Lion King, the circle of life playing in my head. We eat the plants, but then we die and the plants he does. So the plants are protecting themselves with polyphenols. When we eat the plant polyphenols, we uncouple our mitochondria the same way. There's the benefit of polyphenols. Okay, so they are technically we're getting like a metabolite of the bacteria processing the polyphenols. Correct. It isn't showing up as a ketone. So how many things trigger the uncoupling? So we know ketones do it as a signaling molecule. We've got a whole host of polyphenols or some polyphenols better. So a whole host of polyphenols. You choose the polyphenol. I'll show you a paper that shows the action of that polyphenol is to uncouple mitochondria. I'll give you from last week. One of my compounds at gunnery MD is called total restore, which is a my humble opinion a really good gut repairing compound. Gut wall compound. One of the things that I use long before I use that was a compound called wormwood. And people probably have heard of wormwood. It's in a lot of compounds to repair the gut. And just for fun, last week, I saw a paper that a type of wormwood worked by uncoupling mitochondria. And I went, what the heck, I didn't know wormwood could do that. So I started Googling wormwood and uncoupling mitochondria. Do this in your spare time, great fun. And lo and behold, 5 papers come up. That worm would mechanism of action is uncoupling mitochondria. And so you start going down this rabbit hole, and you find out that they're literally just one thing that makes all the difference in a person's health, and that is hitting the right dose of mitochondrial uncoupling and getting the compounds that will do that. And just to peek everybody's interest, there's an interesting theory of aging. Called the rate of living hypothesis. And the rate of living hypothesis is that basically you only have so many calories that you're granted in your life. They can process. Yeah, if you use up those calories quickly,.

"Utah has been strangely bad at home this year. They lost in New Orleans and Memphis. They were 31 and 5 at home last year and they've already got four home losses. And it's just weird. Because that's usually a really tough place to play just because of the perf was saying it last night. Not only everyone thinks about Denver. Utah is just always a strange place to play. One because people are so damn rowdy and then there is atmosphere issues there too. So, yeah, I don't know. I think I want to see them, I mean, two game winning streak feels like about as good as it's gotten for this game. How can you build off that? And really, I just want to see the offensive progression. Okay, if you do have some better semblance of health and Jalen's, the wildcard and all that, do we start to see a little bit more cohesion, especially from the bench group, if there's more, you know, firmness in their roles. Can grant keep shooting as well as he had, as he has, if he's in a diminished role, you know, what becomes of Romeo if he does have nice words of DNP, you know, does freedom ring for even longer than what we've seen. And who else might forgetting on the bench? Like if Schroeder, you know, shooters obviously kind of throttle down with less of a role. But if you can bring Marcus's minutes down and bring him up, and maybe you find the balance there. So yeah, I mean, I'm not making a question. When you say coaching, I think my biggest thing with eBay is just, you know, late in execution..

Those are the only guys that are not practicing, but knock on wood doesn't this feel weird? It feels good. It feels really weird because when you look at the Cleveland Browns, there's a slew of dudes of DNP. There's a lot. There is a lot of 15 or 17 something crazy. There's a lot of people on this list. Yeah, in years past, this would be flipped. We would be the one with the scroll of players that are not practicing and the other team had like a handful. Well he didn't like that's something you save for the locker room right. What says near stays in that shop for prices. A look what happened to rondo after that game. Five here are the minutes. You think there was no russell westbrook in the bubble skill. I really think rondo took that big payday because lakers didn't have that kind of money. But i don't think rondo really wanted to lead the lakers. He had to because the lakers. Because the hall offering fifteen million for two years old. "I just don't see it happening because betting on himself after this injury is probably one too many. You know this is his last chance to come up. One would think i would be really apprehensive about signing him. If somebody else i mean. That'd be pretty apprehensive about about the clippers. But i understand that kind of rock committed on it but if you're one of these other teams he's probably not going to play next season he already had significant knee. Problems coming into this. You want to be the one to pave all those miles. Good luck with that. What's fair to expect from. Simone biles to return to the beam. Simone biles has been out for a week with. Dnp twisties things that we did not know very much about but we learned that having a case of those in jumping up and doing all that flipping could result in catastrophic injury out of balance. Beams the next adventure. Simone biles is going to participate in that because from what we've been reading the twist is aren't nearly the same in that event because there is less twisting is more flipping is less of a risk participating in that which is good for me to hear because i was terrified of the idea. That if you're in your own head and now you're going to be up there on that thing that's four feet off the ground and four inches wide now. What is fair for us to expect. It is our opportunity to say. Thanks for the memory all. That's where we should start in anything that we get on. Top of that is gravy. If she wins a gold medal was treated like. It's an amazing story if she looks pedestrian just like everybody else. She's looked like something that we've never seen before all these other times that i don't think there's room to judge for it on this one. I think that we are incredibly fortunate. That the greatest participant in this forever has decided to push through this in comeback one more time and we get to witness it one more time. This is the one time sports where we have greatness before us still at a top level of athleticism where it's okay for us to stop and say give us what you have. Anything more would be greedy. Yeah on uneven bars. I'd be terrified of something happening incorrectly on the floor exercise that'd be terrified especially as i up in the air as she gets and probably the same on the volt right. That's where she had the first the first event and she bailed out after that first ball but the balance beam. I feel like it's a little bit safer. There's not that much crazy acrobatics..

There like flaming everyone but yourself blaming your driver's not going to help you get better. Use that reference on yesterday. Show bob ryan woody pay. They call it a rage quick. I would say to those critics especially from our own country of australia saying that. She's making it more difficult for people with real mental health issues by blaming that instead of acknowledging that the team might kick her off. She has been vocal about this. You might recall her players tribune stories. She acknowledged her first attempt at sobriety came at age eighteen. She was on suicide watching twenty sixteen she had. Dnp's because of panic attacks. She's talked about this a lot and whatever mental health looks like at any given moment is not on us to judge how that manifests in the behavior. That might be the reason for her being removed from the team if she wasn't removed and just preemptively made the statement. Either way i think we're sensitive to and emphathize while also understanding. It's much more complicated than just taking yourself out right. And also just add to that just addressing. Initially does not mean that she has solved. The issue is clearly working through things. If she is still taking medication for anxiety for example then she still has things that she that she is working through.

"Or the season, some massive change. So I think we can understand why Kyle kuzma would be a little bit frustrated. At the same time. Do the Lakers need, the things that he's dead. Working on, right? He's working on his ball-handling. That's great for him. Do the Lakers need him to be better. Handling, the basketball? Are there? Scenarios where they're going to ask him to do that? Maybe but maybe not, I mean let's face it LeBrons going to have the ball a lot. If they re-signed at a shorter he'll have the ball a lot. You could argue Talen horton-tucker might have the ball more than than kuzma. Well, depending on how tht develops so I don't know if that's what you really need for him. So when I look at kuzma and I look at Andre Drummond and him complaining about minutes, look drum, and also has a little bit of a grief not during the regular season 25 minutes, a game during the regular season, no way to complain there, but he was the only dnp coach the decision in the final game of the, of the playoffs. So, maybe a little bit of grief. They're Montrezl Harrell, he's minutes, evaporated is Andre, Drummond, came on board and and Montrezl Harrell, he looked like he was a lock for a big contract in March. He averaged 20 and 8, he hoped the Lakers stay afloat, 20 and 8 a.m. His minutes got caught, these guys have reason to be frustrated. Okay, so what when we talk about oh they're complaining was that bad for team chemistry? Yes. But they're also not wrong. Now, last season, the difference was everyone knew their role and everyone was willing to sacrifice whatever for Dwight and Jebel. If that meant sitting on the bench, during a whole playoffs and just being the best cheerleaders, they can be more than happy to do it because the sacrifice meant championship this season. We didn't quite see that by it and I think there's a lot of factors in that, but again. Hopefully next season they can fix these things. "Michael Wilbon joins us each and every Wednesday, five o'clock swaddle and Sylvie 3323776. Aren't you want to go after the Bulls? Some or you wanna compliment with the Hawks of have been so far complimenting. The Blackhawks had two of the worst loss of the Blackhawks in the bull started the season the same way. In the Blackhawk start with like a five old loss and a full one loss or something like that, where they gave up nine goals in two days. We just got home. I got beaten up by the lightning. I said twice. The lightning. They got big, just got crushed. And then you know you slowly but surely what they now like, six foreign 644644, So they have gotten themselves together. I watched a great overtime. When the other night not the most recent one, but the one where you know Patrick came drops a pass for somebody to score. They wouldn't overtime. Unbelievable, Beautiful past and you're like, Wow, man, maybe You know, maybe they have some magic in a year that that started off looking just awful. And nobody had really any expectations that you think of those power records, you know, going back to you know whatever. Deal December 1st as a song like, aren't those the seasons where Like the 2000 and 18 bear season on the anybody expected them to go 12 before it's I'm not suggesting the Blackhawks. We're gonna make a run and go to the post season. But the seasons where you've set the bar have fairly reasonable level and your favorite team exceeds that expectation. Those to me or some of my favorite See seasons with teams like that. Oh, no question Where you just You're you're watching because that's what you do. I think one of them and weigh don't know how this would have ended, if not for an injury. But the year that Rondo and Dwayne Wade women to Boston and took The first two games of a playoff series. You're not expecting any of that. Do you like? Oh, my God. And I think the Celtics round of losing this LeBron and seven The Celtics would have been even in the playoffs of Rondo doesn't break his wrist. Whatever happened to Rondo after being up to own he couldn't play anymore that postseason. Those things that come out of nowhere are so enjoyable. On if you will, for between, So you have to appreciate them. So maybe the Blackhawks are on to something. I thought the Bulls were onto something and then you can't be on anything when your entire front court for the third straight year is injured and out. It's just you know, it just it just says to me. If they can't stay on the court, and I'm not saying they're slackers. I'm not about to say that I'm not a lot of questions, Professional sports injuries But if they can't see on the court, for whatever reason, you can't have them. You don't extend anybody. You don't give anybody the baby Max. Certainly not a Supermax. They gotta go. You just gotta go. You gotta go get people who could stay on the court. And if your entire front line is out, just Bam Bam, Bam! Just like the previous two years, and this year. I think the bulls are better position because they do have back work light and they do have bench play. Um You know, that is young. He's a really, really, He could. You can spot start him. You can plan of the six man. You could do so many things with him. And they got some pieces. Zach Cuisine is playing in the all Star level. I mean, Kobe whites up in, Damn it. Okay, that happens in a guy's second year. It is what the niceties all he's really on. I know he's been slumping little bit lately, but it doesn't matter because the three guys who depend on to actually You know, eat up some innings. As they say in baseball. They are never on the court marketing goes 30 30 out. This is what it was different from there from every other year. On Gwen. Don't quite a big, strong guy out. I'll report he's without most of the time. He's Vinnie. I love out of grad watching playing Georgetown because he was a teenager. But you can't you can't have that. And so your mind is gonna be made up for you unless they get back in a hurry, And they're part of a solution. Why would you just sign? Why would you retain guys who can't ever be healthy? And in the line of my who's a bigger disappointment? Your mind, is it? Wendall Carter Jr is a market and both with the seventh pick of the draft, both equal Because because we just saw window cards. You We just don't want to kind of give 17 boards in the game and go out. Get double doubles. Big double double that in 11. Yes, way we saw him scored more than 25 points comes on. He does have it in him. But what if they're not out there? Marketing just went back to back. 30 didn't eat or maybe a 13 to 29 walking and just have those two big games. And you? I remember coming to the TV set after the two big games going, Okay, let's even get a third game, you know, up there and 25 plus territory. No, he can't get a third game on the court. And so what do you suppose to do with that? How you gonna know? Why would a franchise invest in those guys with extensions? Big extensions? I wouldn't. I don't know what and but it does show when those guys were performing at a level that you hope It shows the coaching staff was starting to get it out of him. It's in there, and this coaching staff can get it out of them. But they can't stay on the floor. It's infuriating and again. I'm not calling anybody a slacker. I'm not saying somebody should be playing, so I know that's not the issue. The issue is if you can't be on the court ever in three years. Why, How can a club counting you? How can they extend you? Why don't I think the answer to your question is marketing? I think because of the tease because of what Michael was saying that after his rookie year, remember when everyone said Let's redraft this past year's draft instead of war? Seven. Take three would be three. Right? What Jolan Tatum and then him. It was, you know, you have other guys and then him And then, like you, you thought we had a core piece and he is teased you to think that and ever since then he has sort of given you a little more teasing and then a lot of reality checks. In the reality check is, you know, marketing DNP ankle marketing. DNP showed market in DNP. It just did not play too many nights in the safe again. We're not just picking on marketing the same for Kleiner. Again. This safer Carter. This safer Otto Porter. I mean, they, you know that when they be Houston and Dallas, I think it was back to back games if not night. Is it? Okay? God In the line of Denzel Valentine. He's in the lineup that youngest in the lineup. Kobe White in the line of Yes, he's having to adjust. And by the way, how can young players adjust? If one week they're expected to handle a different share of the load than they are the next two weeks because all their experience older teammates who should be helping them? Do the growing pains of getting adjusted. The NBA aren't even there. So, Yeah, just like that's what I get for pronouncing the bulls, you know, playoff team? That was just that was really stupid On my part. They get the pelicans tonight, Right?.

"So, you know, yeah, this might be an issue during the regular season, but like let's just say we are still this team going into the Oh season, you know it might have not it might not make a huge difference unless we get matched up against the Joker or somebody like that again, which you know a d can probably handle them. So, I don't know. What do you think? Yeah, that's that's the challenge right? That's the challenge is that you you need somebody in there to get you to the playoffs once you get to the playoffs. It's okay Anthony Davis Cup playoff time. We're not messing around anymore. You're the 5 and we're going to play more skilled skilled players around you, but you still need that big body in there for the regular season. So some people mentioning Dewayne dedmon say yeah, that's maybe an option that could be out there people asking when the buyout Market is March 25th is the trade deadline. So it's usually within a couple of weeks after that that we see players start to really get bought out and I think that's what the Lakers are going to be a waiting on somebody asking if Kevin Love is going to get bought out again. That's a big big contract to try to part with so we'd have to see what the Cavs do there. I don't know if they would or not but possible JJ Redick somebody else. You mentioned yeah, that's a guy who could very well get bought out isn't getting minutes right now. I got a dnp coach's decision the other night for the Pelicans. So but again, that's not a big but there's going to be some names out there on the Bayou Market. Remember they landed Markieff Morris last year and he was really good for the Lakers even started for them against the Houston Rockets in the playoffs. So I think there will be somebody there a way for them to grab it's just going to be a bit of a wait until they can go and get that player. All right guys will do one more somebody that brought up Brook Lopez. Remember we had Brook Lopez just shortly before all this and then they let him go in order to bring in Javale McGee when Brook Lopez wage to come back wanted to stay with the Lakers and the Lakers decided. No, we're going to take Javale McGee and bring him in instead. Can they get Brook Lopez know the Bucks aren't going to part ways with him home big a part of what they do in people say he's looking that good. Yeah, but he's still a big piece for them. I don't think they the Bucks in the Bucks certainly aren't going to try to make the Lakers better that's dead. I would like I would definitely I mean, I understand everything you're saying but I'm just saying if we magically could put Brook Lopez and Marc a solid spot. I mean, I think that would definitely be an upgrade when I yeah. Yeah, that would for sure be be an upgrade for for the Lakers because of the increased Rim protection Brook Lopez can block shots. Even if he hasn't been great and he still spreads the floor. Yep. This is all fantasy..

"Best brown season already in 20 years at five to, I think we're all happy. I mean, Mike's happy with the Browns. The jet's got a big loss, and Chris has to work coming up. It's two it's on Davey. The Jets had Four yards in the second half yesterday. The bills and the Jets have been playing a version of that game for about 20 years. The bills did not punt bills also did not score a touchdown. That's the first time that that's happened in a decade. I don't legitimately know where to start. Where do I start? Do I start with the witching hour? Do I start with somebody having to lose that Falcons Lions game and a Falcon's Lions way? There's so many places you could so I start with the Cowboys. Do I start with Tom Brady? Do I start with Herbert? Do. Do I start with Baker Mayfield, Statistically empirically being better when Odell Beckham's not out there. Mike, at least in part, is relieved today because The Browns are in that space to God's. It's a good space to be in where the expectations are so high that we only talk about you when you lose, or we only talk about you through the prism of should you trade your biggest star. Even after you win because Baker Mayfield yesterday has 21 completions in a row after Odell Beckham symbolically injures himself trying to make a tackle. After an interception, and I wish the audience could have heard. A stew Gods and Mike Ryan conversation about Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham, because my crime was trying to tell me something tangible from a podcast on obscure podcast that he was listening to trying to get a cz much breakdown scientifically on what is the matter in the connection between Odell Beckham And Baker Mayfield and still gots immediately starts ripping with no information whatsoever. Just bluster and ego. Well, you know, sometimes when you get a star on your team, you force it to him like he's got no numbers, no backing, no nothing. And I'm waiting for Mike to tell me with the information that he has a theory that has grounded in something empirical and stew that's keeps interrupting him with the pressures of playing with the star. Yeah. I mean, sometimes you have a guy on your team that just commands the ball. If you don't get him the ball he gets lost. He gets emotionally comes back to the huddle. You're constantly thinking about that guy and oh, BJ is that guy did have numbers. Courtesy of handle at Paul Hambo. Baker Mayfield Passing Raider passer rating the last two seasons with Odell on the field 79.6 with him off the field, 1 16.6. He's better when O'Dell is not playing well, but your theory stunk, though. It's terrible because of you're not. You're sitting here and I don't know how much they're targeting him, but I liked Mike Ryan, you know he's going in these nether nether regions of the Internet, trying to find information on why it is the numbers seemed to bear out that Odell Beckham Baker Mayfield don't work together. I'm proud of Mike. If he wants to dig through those podcasts and try to apply science to this, that's fine. I do it my way. I watched the game and then I read him by wants what? Okay, but this is this is a theory that seems in terms of Physically. What's happening out there? We all know Odell Beckham to be an elite receiver. And he goes to the Cleveland Brown and he's got 200 yard games like these two clearly don't function together the way that Odell Beckham and Eli Manning function together. And so what's the name of the podcast? The OPR Brown's film breakdown podcast, They do a great job. And so what they were saying to God is what is Eli Manning that Baker Mayfield isn't Eli Manning is a taller quarterback. Okay, so he could see over the line of scrimmage on so many of those slants that Odell Beckham was feasting on with the Giants that they don't have a connection on anymore, because that's not happening very much with the bright you could remember like the one time they hit a big slam. It was a Monday night game against the Jets. So many chunks of yardage from Odell Beckham came from those quick slants in New York. And Baker Mayfield is shorter than Eli Manning. So you look at okay. Well, Odell performed well and put up these huge receiving games with Eli Manning. What's the difference between Eli Manning and Baker Mayfield, Eli, obviously taller. Another theory and by the way not to dismiss to gods because that's as good a theory as any right now. But it's the popular theory because when we can explain what's happening physically, what we do is go to those intangibles that involved ego and everything else, and I don't know how much Baker Mayfield I'm watching stretches of game with Odell Beckham, where I forget he's out there. It's not because he's being targeted and not catching the ball. It's because I'm watching. I'm seeing large swaths of game. We're Odell Beckham's not doing anything. You're also seeing Baker Mayfield looking accurate, which, if you take his rookie season in which he saw in college and hell what you saw in that final throw, which was incredible to win the game. And since how many times did you watch it, dude, watching every partnership right? His incredible throw. It was a dark. He made so many incredible throws in that second half it was outstanding. But he's not an accurate quarterback. But when he's targeting Odell Beckham Jr. He's an accurate He looks even more reckless, and he's generally reckless anyway. So why is that another theory that Jake Burns from this podcast said, is Eli Manning? Obviously a better pocket presence. Then Baker made not his panic will stand in the pocket. Eli Manning's not going to move anywhere so he will stand in the pocket. Happy feet. They've been trying to get Baker Mayfield on Roll out so He's not waiting for Odell to do these double moves, which might freelance a little bit by him or time to get open. And Baker Mayfield can't get the timing down with Odo Beckham Jr theories Just as good is, well, the pressures of playing with Odell Beckham Jr and all that goes with it might be playing into his head. But for the life of me, I can't understand why he's better targeting Hollywood. Higgins, who has been an active DNP coach's decision by every single coaching staff in there, who has not a single spectacular physical metric that makes you think this guy is a good wide receiver. But when O'Dell is targeted, it's much worse..

Odell Beckham Baker Mayfield Odell Beckham Baker Mayfield Eli Manning Odell Odell Beckham Jr Mike Ryan Odo Beckham Jets Browns O'Dell Tom Brady Chris Paul Hambo Falcons Cowboys Herbert Cleveland Brown Jake Burns Brown

"Can you? I'm trying to define the magic of Tory Craig because of what he did Friday what he did today. But there's been times this season where he is helped the nuggets win games. There's been times this season where he didn't get in. Because you know, did not DNP there's been times where he's been. He's had to come in with with the haven't played the entire game coach those the fourth quarter. So I mean, that's not easy to do. What how does Craig house? He able to handle all that. No. It's not at all. And I'll be the first one to admit that. I am the biggest Tori Craig fan. I absolutely love what he brings this team in what he put like the way that he plays, and it's just hustle. It's energy it's effort, and he does that regardless of how many minutes plays, right? He could go a game where he doesn't play and then come in and have twenty minutes, and he leaves it all on the floor. And I think that's what makes him so valuable for this. Nuggets group, especially down the stretch here. I think he is finding his role coming off the bench. And I think Malone is trusting him a lot more in that role as well. As shooting has been so much better since the all-star break in the second half of the season. And so he's able to come in and knock down open shots. And then he's going to be that lockup defender guy is gonna get you offense of rebounds. He's gonna get you hustle plays. So because Malone trust him in that way knows that I think that's super beneficial Berta. Let's listen into head coach Michael Malone. Yeah. The effort was great. You know, second half deep. Started with us starting group in the guys who came off the bench maintain that defensive effort..

"S and the swing doctor here on the first Sunday of March Jerry here, two of our three PJ professionals on the usual panel. Or with us this swing doctor himself. Jim fruity junior is out in suburban Philadelphia, and Michael Kara who's the head golf professional MorningStar is with me in studio, Jim fruity, the third the manatee partner at MorningStar. Is DNP did not play. But not coach's decision. It had to do with almost losing his frontier. He took a hockey puck to the mouth earlier this week and has some difficulty speaking. And of course, that giggling it is at his pain, but. He took the mask off his helmet because it didn't fit right anyway. Morning star. Michael memberships still available. We there's there might be one. You could slide in at the moment. We've believe we got a new one about a week and a half ago. So I think there's one left so come on in and grab it a great opportunity for you to come out and play and use the range and get the carton and be able to play in a bunch of fun events and have a great time which will get to the fun of as twenty seven hundred dollars right now for an individual membership can do the math four thousand fifty dollars for a couples membership in fifty four hundred dollars for a family membership family defined as mom, dad and kids who are still living at home. So if your kids home from college, I think if you're twenty nine years old is an art history. Major and can't find a job as living in the garage, it probably doesn't count. So what are so? And by the way, you get a card every time you play you get to make reservations three weeks in advance. While the great unwashed public Lincoln get access to those. Good t- times two weeks in advance use the range anytime, you want of great, by the way, a putting practice area that matches the speed of the greens of the golf course. And that's to me. That's a really important thing. There's nothing worse than putting on some green. That's really slowed. All of a sudden, the golf courses. It's twice as fast like whoa, drive that I that I, you know, ten twelve feet past the past the whole these member events that you organize for for the two hundred and fifty soles that are members give us an idea of what some of those things are. Yeah. So every third Friday of the month. I run a couples event that's open to members and to the public for our members on a weekly basis. We'll do a skins game. Or we'll do a blind partner of that. We have our year long singles match play championship that we run which we're actually kind of reconfiguring this year, which is going to be really pretty fun. We do a two person team membership. Whether it's two guys or two girls. Or a guy and a girl. That's a fun little match-play event that we do a year long event handicapped event that one. Yeah, they're all these are headed cats. We do a stable for point system that we have our member member which is a two percent. Team championship of basketball event that we do is run over the course of a weekend. It's a Saturday and Sunday, which is a lot of fun. We have today strokeplay championship as well. All these kind of lead to the combination of the stark up because you get points for participating in the events. But you also get poised for based on where you finish. And the star Cup is a thirty. It's it's a two team thirty six players eighteen on each team with captain by myself and by Jimmy, and that's a twenty seven hole kind of Ryder Cup type of feel about which is a lot of fun. We came up with a new vent last year with the help of the ladies it's a Queen and three kings, which one of the ladies they asked three other gentlemen to play on their team. And we do some fun event for that. And you know, all the all these events for the most part, are, you know, there's lunch and cocktails involved in an awards and t- prizes. So it's a lot of fun is that's really a great time. I was on the golf course today that the writer couple ish, okay thing what's out there. There are a lot of people on the. Yeah. You you realize there's two teams of eighteen. It's like, oh my goodness. There's a lot of there's a lot of crowds. But we we played around him and through him. And that that's our thing. It was real quickly. Yes. Still time. If you wanted to try to hold an outing. It's whether it's, you know, sixteen people or one hundred sixteen people still set that up. Absolutely. Yeah. Give me a call where you know, we still have some dates available for that. But like, Jerry even said, you don't have to it doesn't have to be a giant fundraiser for something. If you just have a group of sixteen you have some more clients that are coming into the party. He's like that bachelor party, whatever I wanna do bachelorette party either one, we'll take every- everybody. But if you have, you know, twelve to twenty four players and you want to set up a little event. Yeah. Give us a call shoot me. An Email would definitely love to help you out with whatever you need to do. Whether it's just just the golf portion of it. Or if you wanna do drink tickets, you wanna have launched whatever it is. We can we're full service. So we can definitely have some fine. I know a guy who got his second marriage, and then a bachelor party not MAURICE shepherded thirty two guys so eight foursomes and they got an. Into so much trouble. The wedding was called off. "Today. But the penalty killing continues to bite this team, and you're pointing a little bit something out on the on the power play situation that you've seen over the forest last couple of games where sometimes the easiest plays the better plan as great as Alex debrincat has done you thought he may be looking a little bit too much to make an extra pass. They're a couple of times down low. He's trying to move to the park to Dylan Stroman, the thing is for if Dylan Strom is on the same side as Alex debrincat, Dylan storms, the left handed shooter, Alex is a right handed sugar. Sophie can just close your eyes and kind of figure that Alex is a right handed shooter. His stick is in the middle of the ice. And that's where you want him to be to shoot the one timer but Dylan Strom is a left-hander. And he moves over Dylan Strom rather than having a stick towards the boards away from the positioning the checking of the opposition team. His stick is towards the middle of the ice. So that passes tough to make. And it was a great read by drew doughty just to to read the play put a stick in that passing lane. You know, if you're gonna make that. Dylan Strom is going to have to move towards the corner. Damore more to give him a better angle. Just because he's a lefty righty. So you're you're you're playing within the middle of the ice here. You're not on the outside. You can't protect the puck as much, and I think Gustafsen sometimes maybe I think is looking a little bit too much for Patrick Kane to begin with to set it up, and you've got some good looks at Alex debrincat. And I think when you're you're you're powerplay when the Blackhawks plate was really successful, you were working both sides of the equally, and it just seems to me like too much focus going onto Patrick Kane at this point. And you've got a great guy. Alex debrincat give him that opportunity to move some place from his side of the ice couple more for I'll let you go here. And you have to hope that this. You know, we've said it before and Brennan per lenient scored a goal, you certainly hope after four straight DNP's and getting the opportunity here today, we've mentioned the time and again as well, you can see the physical ability that he has you can look at his stats.
