"So basically, the condition is going on here is something good, hyper androgynous them, which basically means. Semenya her body produces more testosterone than is usually a woman. So most women have testosterone levels are between zero point one two and one point seven nine animals per liter women with differences in sexual development. And this is kind of a broad catra coot DISD, and it basically means. You might have so much of a different gender. Different sects, the what might be considered kind of your normal for that kind of range. So people like valley Semenya might have levels as high as seven point seven animals per liter to twenty nine point four nine which is much more in the kind of the mayo range if you like so it sounds much higher. And this is where it gets really really difficult. So you'd say someone who has thirty forty times higher concentrations of this in their blood has thirty forty time advantage, but isn't really what's going on here. And this is where it gets incredibly complicated to prove what's happening here with science, basically doesn't work like that. Really? So testosterone does play really important role in sporting performance. And particularly it makes it easier for people to build, bigger muscles and bones. And also increases the levels of oxygen-carrying hemoglobin in the blood, so essentially, the Hiatt Austrian levels that you're going to have more rebound. Find. An easy to build muscle. You find easy to supply that muscle with. Oxygen, and it's very very hard to pinpoint the increase per animal of testosterone. If you like people thinking that to bring if you bring these levels down with the the I AA Fs new rulings? It might mean that she lose as much as five to seven seconds from her from eight hundred meters, I think by before hundred meters, and this is a completely natural thing. As far as I understand it. It's quite rare for for this to happen. And there's not many people that this will affect but that doesn't mean necessarily should affect anybody. But what's the difference? Is there a difference between say for instance, like when you get on the top swimmers in the world, and they have basically giant feed their flippers for this that can't be that much of a difference between what's happening here? And that of a genetic variant. That's exactly the debate that people are having and the largely Custos menus. Case rested on that point is at a why choose this arbitrarily defined sex or to arbitrary divined some kind of performance limit. Because like, you said, whatever Michael Phelps has very unusually wide wingspan or whatever. But that's not typically seen as something that can be legislators against their will be men have very very high levels of testosterone versus men have very very low levels of testosterone. But there are no rulings for men saying if you're above a certain level, you must bring it down. So this is exactly what is such a controversial ruling because it seems very specifically to target this one athlete in this one kind of sport to me just seems so discriminatory. I mean, as you say, they're basically every elite athlete has some kind of genetic advantage. You mentioned Michael Phelps? He's got massive. I didn't know exactly what size. They are. There are swimmers with size seventeen feet. That's not something. You can make yourself have. That's something you're born with. And you're really lucky then go into. To sport whether is an advantage. No one would ever dream suggesting that person should have to cut off their feet. So that it's fair. And this is just another genetic variation that us many happens benefit from which is entirely natural. I think it's just. This is very linked into a history of sexism and policing. What counts as being a woman in sport and in wider society. Right. And there's all these conversations about should cast many allowed to compete against women. If she's not a women, and that's just completely false. No one is suggesting tool that Casta. So many is not a woman she is one hundred percent female and the idea that you should please your own natural biology because of some genetic variants just because people is related to sex gender. So people find a bit squeaky it, just I just find it horrific. It's terrible..

"It's four zero five at five seventy KLIF Ernie Brown joined with what's his name much. Chad Dickson are surly millennial. Of course. Bill Barnett doing his part as our technical director and musical director to keep the broadcast on the air. I thought this is where they're interesting in the Dallas Morning News and editorial. That says that we are entering in the city of Dallas a period where residents feel less safe a review of any number of neighborhoods. Social media pages reveal that crime is again becoming the top- topic. Whether it's theft or threat of violence snapshots of horrible crimes like that shooting that took place at the shops at Park Lane last week of the eighteen year old kid in a drug deal, apparently gone bad spread fear beyond the reality of the actual public risk in our city. Well, it does remain safer and a lot of ways. But the perception is shifting perception is reality. It doesn't matter. What you're talking about? It could be in politics. It could be in life itself. But perception often becomes reality. When you see a story that's repeated over and over and over again or every night when you're watching the news the lead story comes out of this neighborhood or that neighborhood that some terrible violent crime has happened. What are you gonna think it's only a matter of time before they get to my neighborhood? Anytime you see a story repeated multiple times dislike watching a negative ad in a political campaign. It's gonna leave you with a negative impression. So now the impression once again. According to the editorial, they say, we've seen strong neighborhoods rallying dormant crime, watches and gathering funds to hire extra police patrols, they're important and valuable tools, of course to prevent crime. But they also suggest a broader sense that the city is not handling fears of crime with the resources that it has. Why do you think that we see Dallas? Or we see four worth as a city that has together compared to Dallas. When I imagine. There isn't an actual great disparity. Well, you know, I read the star telegram every day. I read the Dallas Morning News every day. I just I want to see what's going on. I tried to find all the local little suburban papers. But most of those have been absorbed by one of the two big papers. But I try to find out as much as I can about whatever neighborhoods have anything going on. But this has always been a problem for the city of Dallas. They have always been looked at as the more dangerous. Damore corrupt city. Yeah. People council going to jail. Yeah. People on the Dallas independent school district board going to hell the superintendent went to jail back in the past. I mean, you always had this sense of corruption and and violent crime taking place in the city of Dallas in the city limits of Dallas. So why a lot of people just said, you know, what I'm moving to the suburbs. Probably one of the big reasons why a house where the same floor plan three blocks away from DISD versus Richardson, independent school district. You can get fifty thousand dollars more for it. Yeah. Just the school district alone. Because the perception is what it is. Now, there may be reality to all of this. But crime statistics in the city of Dallas are down except for drugs and weapons. All right. But most of the other violent crime statistics are down. But when you hear a story you're going to neighborhood like the shops at Park Lane where that's located near north park center, and you hear violent crime take place somebody shot in the parking garage. And it turns out it's an eighteen year old high school kid. Think. Wow. This is getting out of control. Well, no that is one crime that happened in one location. You know, when you say for worth, I think at leaders at the top, I think of Betsy price. That's it. Yeah. When I think of Dallas and people at the top there's about six or seven names, you can throw out there, those you think are either corrupt or have been proven to be. So like that. That's right. And to me. That may be leading to the obviously this perception of the Dallas has a problem. Whereas Fort Worth doesn't see I've been I've been thinking for a long time that the reason that the city of Dallas has the reputation it has versus Fort Worth is all of the media is in Dallas. But it wasn't like that forever. Five and and our sister station. AP forever in Fort Worth. That's true channel five still. Sure. But I think you nailed it with the schools, and if you want to argue it starts there, and when those are seen as rundown, I know how bad for Wirth's are nobody ever talks about it. No, that's true. Once again, I think that's because of a media bias towards down, the vast majority of media isn't looking out the window. I can see late, but at the correct, but at the same time, they would tell us. I mean, it's the second biggest city around here. They would let us know. I just think for worth has this history history. And I think the people there may be in there in in the inner part of Fort Worth have more pride and that kind of stuff about their city. Then maybe people in Dallas do Dallas is a weird town. It really is a very it is an unusual town in many ways, all usual. I have lived in. I've lived in multiple big cities around the United States. And I don't see much difference between Dallas share city of Dallas versus really anywhere else. I've lived when I lived in Seattle, the inner city and Seattle has problems. Yeah. Seattle school district was a disaster. I mean, it's just it's just the nature of it urban school districts tend to have problems and everybody wants to put their fingers in the pie. Thank god. In one respect, you you have option in the state of Texas. You can always just say, I think I'll just go a little farther out. I'll just move out to the suburban areas. I'll find a better school if I can. So you have that option? Bottom line is this and I want to ask a question. I want to take some calls from you. If you wouldn't mind, I don't do this very often..

Like, I'm I'm working on on things that are really really, you know, like, I think improving society, and I think, you know, had I not gone through that experience. I wouldn't have I wouldn't have so much more more to air and to give and so sure for you guys to girls to like when you went through that you're like, oh, wow. Like we now have a stronger stance around while. I I got I got depressed for the first day. I was just like oh my God. Like when press calls like, I don't know how people got my cell phone number or calling my cellphone asking me for a comment. And I didn't like I woke up the day that it came out and into which is two inches of water. Then my my apartment was flooding as this was happening. I was texting Kramnik oh screen shots of this article. And then I woke up out of my bed, and my my apart- my bedroom was into inches of water. And I was like this just as fucking terrible. Yeah. Certainly it's I mean, it's learning. It's all a learning experience. Right. So it's like, okay. Like, you talked about with your relationship with each other. Creating boundaries, right? Like positive Andries, and that really works for your relationship. Yeah. And I think same thing for for me with my new company. I said that I was like clear still have to be the boss, and they have to be, you know, the employees there there has to be some kind of like caste system in a company does it though. That's traditionally the way it's been I think there does. Because it's to me. It's like when a mom tries to be best friends with a daughter. The moms still has to be the mom like there to be a leader in a comfy under percent like it's not. This is not what any mom says, my daughter's best friend. I've of indigenous Tampa wherever you are. I I hear you. And I, and I certainly, you know, I certainly learned to not, you know, be be besties with my team is much as it's like, hey, we're all fighting the same fight together. Like it. That's where I would have a hard time. Princeton. Foundries? I am which is why I put a CEO in place. We'll know exactly I'm saying I'm saying because it seems like not only like because you know, you see people go through stuff in either they just disappear forever. Have you ever talked to someone who is mentally stable. In nineteen ninety six. I had a brief elevator ride with someone who looked put together. I think that's the only one, but they didn't say anything. They just look like they had their shit together. So, yeah, I have. And then finally. This is a happy moment filled out by. And it's a little bitter sweet, but it's filled out by a guy who calls himself not a robot. I promise and he writes after my wife suddenly left me this year, I took her short vacation to visit my sister in her family in California while I was pleased to be able to see my sister, her husband and her two daughters that was kind of apprehensive about her youngest child, my nephew who was six years old now, but was only two when they moved to the bay area. I was worried that he would see me as a stranger and we would not connect for my visit. I arrived at their house late in the evening and the kids were already asleep. So I made my way to the guest bedroom and turned in. I woke up the next morning very early before the family not wanting to be a bother is they went about their routine and made up the bed and started reading a book. I had brought along soon enough. The house was full of chatter as my nieces got ready for school and their parents got the day started in the midst of all this. My nephew upon learning that I had arrived came running into the guest bedroom and immediately climbed up into my lap. He was very. Happy to see me and we spent the morning reading books together and finding funny memes on my phone when his mom came to help him get ready for school, he hugged me and promised that he would be home later, so we could play with his Legos. Having been recently severed from the person who was closest to me, I had been feeling avoid. And while the innocent lava of a child didn't repair that, it did go along way to putting me on a better path which I'm still pursuing..

"The Dallas Morning News the storage is coming out this evening health they're now, pushing local districts DFW to have an after after school meal program So don't you love this they're gonna steal away your kids from you What's the? Point what's the point of even having the let the government raise them a lot of kids may not have a healthy meal to eat when they get. Home and their parents may? Not be able to afford dinner every night May may and may may not may not from the center for public policy of priorities afterschool meals make sure they get. Good healthy full dinner and. It gives them? The energy to do after school programs so with this person is. Telling me that all of our children are so many of them are a bunch of like a lot of them are starving they go home to star You know They, told us, you know, the first what did? They start how did they start this out, at first? Didn't they I tell us our kids were starving at lunch because they weren't getting enough food or starving because nobody can. Afford lunch and. Then didn't they start the. Breakfast thing, I mean it's. So pathetic they serve them breakfast in the in the in the actual classroom because they aren't walking down the hall to go get. It themselves We're becoming what's that cartoon movie It's a real big hit, came out maybe. On a five? Ten years, ago was it Wally Where Wally where all the. People up in spaceships in they're fat. They don't do anything they just sit like a blob, that's that's how stuff like this happens we have to sit like a blob in. The classroom and you bring, us food and we suppose the, can't afford it, because we're starving They're doing this to encourage. More participation they want having webinars I love the internet, service and and you know technology yet you can't afford to feed your child somehow They're now. Providing free breakfast free. Lunch and evening meals to all students. So that leads me. To ask well what about the weekends these poor children are, starting over the weekends you're not feeding them The DISD spokesperson says because. We have a large number of, students, who come from various? Backgrounds sometimes they have parents who are working. Two or three jobs I guess we're not. Expecting them to parent and just to never be there right And here's why the schools do this And they do a lot they push you as a parent to do this, because they are reimbursed from the feds found the FDA I think it's knows USDA not the FDA the USDA they are reimbursed for every meal they serve in the more they serve them, or they make because they. Get reimbursed more than they actually cost three dollars thirty one cents for dinner ninety one, cents for snacks They could also make money if they're serving meals at a local nonprofit or at the boys and Girls Club or at the YMCA Oh by the way meals may be served on weekends holidays vacations We, are screwed We are screwed. As a nation Because we continue to make people more and more and more. And more dependent on the government we keep telling them it's not. Their job to feed their child it's not their job to spend time with them, and make them breakfast and lovingly. Send them off in the morning we keep telling them it's not their, job. To fold up little napkin right I love you on the napkin and folded in with your sandwich that you. Made with love the exact way he or she likes it because, because you know them so well. Because you love him so much they don't need that hug of reassurance and the kiss on the on the cheek. Or on the on the head. They don't need any of that let. The school to all of this you could just do whatever you want a stay at. Home or, have a nice car. You know just live the dream Job.
