Former ICE Director Tom Homan Answers the Question: Is the U.S. Border Closed?
"The border is closed according to the man who runs the Department of Homeland Security for the senile old Giza in The White House who sadly bears the title president of the United States. I think I have somebody in studio who begs to differ. We are one on one with none other than that truth teller extraordinaire, former director of ice Tom Holman. Welcome here in America first. Look, 600,000 illegal aliens have been released into the country by CBP. 600,000 releases. And that's not counting who ice is releasing at the order of political pointees when the DHS. So at least 600,000 releases that came across that border were released. Many with COVID, manual criminal histories. Add to that, the 400,000 just short of 400,000 galways. Right there as the man

Dhs and border patrol sat there and did nothing now ought to be very clear. Dhs border patrol our american heroes. They are under orders to do nothing. DHS Launches Internal Investigation Into Whipping of Haitian Migrants as Border Crisis Deepens
"I want to read the story from political. I saw this last night. And i sent it to our group chat on our show and you know what i said i said. Now i've seen everything. Border patrol is now launching an investigation into the border patrol agents that are using a bridal or a rain of a horse not a whip to go after migrants. Now mind you border patrol or the congressional oversight. They're not launching an investigation. To the fact that one point eight million people have come into our country this last year. No investigation into that new investigation into the drugs falling into our country. Do you know what needs to be investigated. According to chess they say we need to define the appropriate disciplinary action to be taken pataki. Says i don't think anyone seeing that footage would think it's acceptable or appropriate. Oh i think it's really acceptable you've a guy with a bridle in a rain. Meanwhile is countries being invaded. And he's trying to prevent that from happening. this is an act of international invasion. This cut thirty four instead of actually investigating the fact that i don't know why is it that there's one point eight million people illegally coming into the country instead of launching an investigation into mark. Milley for in a treasonous way calling the chinese the set of launching an investigation into peter dasent or the origins of the voucher virus there now our energy and our resources everybody. We're now going to launch an investigation into whether or not some cowboys. We're trying to rein in. Criminal vigilantes trying to destroy your country. Play cut thirty four. i. I've seen some of the footage. I don't have the full context. I can't imagine what context would make appropriate. But i don't have additional details and certainly. I don't have additional context april. I don't think anyone seeing that footage would think it was acceptable or appropriate. It's perfectly acceptable. These people are criminals coming into our country. I mean i'm. I'm maybe i'm failing to understand why we need to have this deep seated sympathy. Do we have this deep seated sympathy for people that go around and rob banks. They're breaking into our country.
The Unprecedented New Terrorist Threat Stemming From the Afghan Refugee Crisis
"Footage is shocking. The refugees not only stock at the kabul airport but landing here in america being whisked away from dulles airport to who knows where. Today from anthony blinken that they have a rigorous vetting process for the over one hundred and twenty thousand afghans who have being flown out on our military flights. I just how do you do vexing for example for a person who has no documents. And whose data isn't on any system we own. Can you explain the wizardry of this administration to me now. Jackie sebastian. Look you just what you just talk about. Common sense look a couple of things. We that are factual based not spending misdirection. Come from this administration. First of all the military commanders. Their their mission is very clear from the white house. It was all about fast fast fast. Get people on planes as fast as possible. Look i've been serving this country for thirty five years. I've been involved in operations. Where fast took precedent over other things. When that happens things fall through the cracks. There is no doubt that people getting on that plane that we knew. Virtually nothing about sebastian. It looks the factor detail in this. We've already heard about people got onto planes that later. We Don't Have a Country Without Borders
"I don't know if you saw this, but there's some audio audio fox got ahold of of our DHS secretary of my Orkest. My orchids, the DHS secretary talking to people. They got some audio that they got on tape there him admitting this situation was unsustainable. We're gonna lose we we did. The Southern borders entirely evaporated to the United States. We have no southern border and in case you think these borders by the way are indefensible, and it's just some kind of Oh gosh, it's an accident. A few people are slipping through the Biden administrations found that perfectly acceptable to close the northern border to Canada. Again. Some of the liberals listening don't understand that the Northern borders closed. You're not allowed in from Canada. Unless you're on some official business, some more travel or you have some kind of emergency. You're you're not allowed in the southern border has completely disappeared. You don't have a country without borders. The country is not a suggestion. A country is a delineated landmass with specific borders. That's what it is right. We're not looking for other worldly, uh, definitions. We're looking for grounded, insensible common sense. What's the definition of a country? It's some land mass with a border where people Collective unit of people abide by a certain series of laws. Sadly, in some cases like North Korea, they abide because they're forced to buy a nutjob Communist slob like that loser over there. You don't have a country without borders you have. There's nothing more than a suggestion that that is a country Well, what's What's the What's the border between this country and the other country? Well, there isn't one. So then what is it a unit country? You got that audience play.
Brewers Score 6 in 5th, Beat Cubs 6-3 for DH Sweep
"Sending eleven batters to the plate in the fifth inning the brewer scored six times defeating the cubs six to three to sweep a day night doubleheader trailing one nothing Milwaukee batted around and then some in that that frame manager Craig Counsell talks about the six run fifth string string together a bunch of good at bats and over the line exactly bunch of big two out hits and you know at the end of it so I was was a huge any course for sure then I can't featured all long rain delay as the brewers also won the opener in the daytime forty two Milwaukee has won six of its last nine games all the cubs have dropped six in a row David Shuster Chicago
Los Angeles Lakers Pair LeBron and Russ. Will It Work?
"I wanted to zoom out and go over the big picture landscape with someone who talks on our airwaves every day about the nba. Dhs is favourite league. I think the one. And only the greatest showman in show business and tv for espn stephen smith. Our you sub man. How you doing man glad to finally be here. I'm thrilled to make it happen. You are out in la. So let's start there you talked. I was listening to you on. I take a few days ago. Talking about russell. Westbrook in the amount of pressure that's on russell westbrook. But tell me about you know how. How do you think he fits. Lebron how what are you looking for him. How does he have to changes game or does he have to change his game. Well listen. I think i think both have to modify to some degree. Lebron can't be as ball dominant as as he has been off making all the decisions. Because that's one of the reasons rusting wanna be in houston anymore as you. Well know Because he didn't want to be you know sitting on the sidelines. Playing the role of spectator being on the plane and roller spectator watching james audit. Well that's not gonna change lebron james. He's happy to be back home. He's happy to be la. He's happy to be on a title contender which he is on. We get all of that But in the end he still russell westbrook in you know credit to him. You know like. I told you we've had to be. We've all had to be critical of him at times. What we know that. He's an electrifying talent. The most athletic point guard we've ever seen in nba history. We know he's a walk in triple double and we also know. He never cheat to game with his effort when he's out on a court it's always one hundred percent and so when you look at the slow. Almost snail like pace that the lakers could could. Could you know what wouldn't prone to plan towards playing at at tom's in the past and now you've got somebody like russell westbrook all of a sudden and lebron having a night off. Ad having a night off isn't as daunting as it was the previous two years. I think that helps them during the regular season. And then i think once the postseason comes whatever it takes to win is what i think the character in russell westbrook and lebron james will do.

"You let the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner again. Being quoted as saying that the state of Wisconsin Is over counting covert deaths. And the state of Wisconsin. It is abundantly clear because Milwaukee County is counting covert deaths. Differently, so you can actually compare and contrast the two the two numbers. You can see the Milwaukee numbers posted at the DHS state of Wisconsin side and then you can also see Milwaukee Milwaukee County Post the numbers themselves on their own county website. What you find. Is that the DHS numbers They're just much higher for Milwaukee. What is going on? DHS is counting anybody who died with covert. As having died of Covad. Milwaukee. I mean only not not not from the very beginning. But Milwaukee is now counting people who died off covert only as covert deaths. She have a pretty good discrepancy about Somewhere around 20% right around 20%. If that's the way the state of Wisconsin is counting all covert deaths, then we have vastly overestimated the number of covert deaths in Wisconsin. And it's that simple. We know that that is what the state of Wisconsin is doing. The reason we know they're doing. That is because Milwaukee specifically counts their covert deaths differently and posts different numbers. Others county medical examiner's air, saying they agree with Milwaukee's approach, but nearly nobody is actually posting accurate counts. The difference between people again who died with covert or died of covert if you have a heart attack, But you have a covert 19 positive test. You didn't die of covert. You died of a heart attack. Have you been stage cancer? And you had a positive covert 19 test. You didn't die of Covad. You died of end stage cancer. That's that's reality. We're not doing it that way. Now. I don't think I'm not certain. And I know that Mac Ivor Institute is looking into this. I don't think we're going so far as to say somebody who died of a drug overdose who happened to have Ah, covert death is also being covert diagnosis is also being counted as a covert death. And in a statement, the company says its customers have full and complete control over how their data is collected stored and transmitted. This is not the first time the government has expressed concern over use of Chinese made drones in the US as John via in your fellow at the Brookings Institution who teaches at UCLA. There was a spate of news articles, I think back in August of two thousand seventeen reporting that army had raised some cyber security concerns related to some drones that were manufactured in China. So that concern is not new. Although the fact that it has surfaced now he may or may not be tied to these broader trade tensions, which flared up in recent months. The DHS warning about Chinese drones coincides with the Trump administration's campaign against tech manufacturer while way, which coincides with the ongoing trade war between the two countries. It also comes as a fish. Nls are warning transit agencies in New York and here in Washington against buying new subway cars, made by a Chinese manufacturer democratic Senator Mark Warner of Jinnah has introduced legislation prohibiting Washington's metro from buying Chinese cars because of security concerns. A railcar might have a whole host of sensors communication tools. And when that is manufactured in China, and when that sometimes can be upgraded on a remote basis in terms of software upgrade. There are national security implications. Underlying all the tech concerns Warner says, is the Beijing government's control over all Chinese companies that concerns, I have is the communist party of China now, has in their law the ability to interfere and take information from virtually every Chinese company, and as long as that exist that provides a whole set of all abilities, I think American business. The inspector general for the department of homeland security released a scathing report about conditions at the largest immigration law. Up in the region the Essex County correctional facility in Newark, New Jersey, joining us by Skype with an update on the situation for eight hundred people being detained by immigration and customs enforcement at the jail is WNYC's mad cats. Hey, matt. Hi, jamie. The report from DHS inspector general is described is describing moldy and spoiled food served to the detainees at Essex and it details. A situation involving a loaded gun that a guard left in a bathroom which was reportedly turned in by a detainee. What's been the fallout from the report wolf for the first time in about eight years, the board of free holders, which is the governing body Essex County, they're going to hold a hearing to examine the county's very lucrative contract. Forty million dollars a year with immigration and customs enforcement democratic freeholder president Brendan Gill told me last night that he was really alarmed by this report which described as you said on safe and dangerous conditions. At the jail. When is after inspectors took a surprise visit there in July advocates have been calling for a hearing because the number of ice detainees and the revenue that the county receives as really skyrocketed under President Trump's aggressive immigration enforcement, and they wanna see better oversight. And they want to see some of the prophets from ice t to be used to improve conditions and provide attorneys for detainees because unlike detained immigrants from New York, New jersey doesn't provide attorneys for most of the immigrants who need it is it is now targeting legal permanent residents with old crimes for deportation. And you've reported before on Dane faster, a New Jersey green card holder who was locked up due to three previous marijuana possession convictions. And I understand you got foster on the phone from the jail. What did he say? The report describes this foul-smelling meat. Then inspectors founded the gel and in my call with foster he said that twice he found bugs in his food. And he said he serves something that they call slop. It's like this most meet looking liquid thing. Nobody really knows what's in it. Yeah. We could dead or we get ladies soybean dry. Soy burgers that look like. Almost like a hockey book. And then there's this weird looking thing, whatever they call it starfish chicken 'cause they save chicken. But it's fake the Michael designed it's Brown like beef chicken. What did Essex County officials have to say about the food? They say the food manager who is working that day of the inspection was new and and he's been fired, and they speak of other inspections that give the gel a high marks. But another issue that the report mentions is with the jails mattresses DHS said that the Chinese were sleeping on rips mattresses and now in our phone, call foster said these mattresses were actually replaced recently. And that would seem to be good news. But it happened during a gel wide lockdown. I've now spoken to several attorneys and detainees at apparently the entire jail was swept by helmet. Clad. Officers searching for contraband for a span of five days from February fourth through the eighth and foster said that everyone's belongings were searched he described it more like ransacked. And then the guys with the ripped mattresses. There's the they were replaced. But there was this. Catch the detainees got disciplinary citations for damaging. Government property. A spokesman for the county jail told me that contraband is often hidden in the mattresses, and that's why they're ripped in the first place not because of the county's negligence as DHS and detainees allege now, this is the first time the lockdown has been publicly reported tell us more about that. Detainees said they were locked in their cells for as long as five days straight. Although the county said two days was really the max. And either way it's Ernie said that these are civil not criminal detainees, and that it's cruel and unusual to give them what basically amounts to solitary confinement with with one other cellmate because it's too to a cell. They were only allowed to leave for ten minutes apiece. Twice a day to use the shower or microwave or make a phone call. There is no family visitation. No commissary, which supplies a lot of the food for detainees. No recreation time, no lot library, and that means that immigrants without lawyers can prepare for their deportation hearings. I spoke to another detainee who didn't want his name used for fear of retaliation. And he said that everyone grew beards because razors were banned during the lockdown and three days into it. His cellmate was deported. So he was alone in the cell for two days. Here's how he said he spent the time. I have some books. That's what I was doing. I read like three books. I was doing it. Also, I was reading a book to read the bible, and that's it. Nothing. What did the county say about the lockdown and Essex County spokesman indicated there were there was credible information about a security threat, which he didn't tell and that's what led to the lockdown? So that a search can be conducted throughout the facility, including the criminal portion of the gel to look for contraband. That's WNYC's Matt Katz? Matt, thanks so much. Thank you, Jamie..

"Do positive we could begin with the last thing, which is an incredible insult to the secret service agents. Right. We could. Come in. Because I'm thinking about my mortgage payment again a preview. Principal and interest. And let's see. Guy with a gun. Thinking about my mortgage. We could start at the beginning where he says. Well, I didn't see the speakers letter about the so the second in command in the house was totally unaware that Nancy was going to try to cancel the state of the union. But I liked him saying, yeah, I heard that from DHS that everything's fine. We're fine. We're ready. But be that as it made there our security concerns with okay now, you're just stating the opposite of what you say. Okay. Well, now, you're just making words. Nothing to address the question you were asked which is what politicians so that was just. Granted steadies as old as the hills and probably ought to be put out to pasture. But that was the second in command utterly unable or on willing to back up the speakers arguments about state of the union address. So it's just more silly political posturing, so I talked to a mole I've got in DHS who is a straight shooter. And tell me if this is you know, if Nancy Pelosi. DHS? That's funny. I have a ferret and state but go on. And this person says they got a weasel in the department of interior now to think about it. I haven't heard from him for. It's a complete charade. They could pull it off the way they always pull it off. As a matter of fact, there they prepare for these things. So far ahead of time. They're preparing now for next year's right? They prepared last year for this year's they could do it today if they were asked to and everything would be fine. Sure. It's just completely made up the address the fact that he or she or it gender nonspecific way to go binary either in the middle of transitioning on people in d h s did they address the whole die. Can't I can't protect the president. Because I'm thinking about my I didn't ask that because that's insulting it. Well. Yeah. Sure. Hey. And by the way, you probably shouldn't be in the secret service, if you'd let the president take a bullet if you can't afford your Netflix account, right? Not sure you're right. And it's probably worth mentioning cut the shutdown. Stop it. Figured out. AM coastguard pay the coastguard pay the department of homeland security guys pay the screeners at the airports your junk now. And again it happens. This is sought often enough to bid this whole shutdown. His stupid you put ten Americans in a room. They'd have it solved in forty minutes. I'm a guy who puts things off. So I speak from experience. But if something has to be dealt with. I mean, it's an evidence that has to be dealt with deal with it. Now. Right right since it's inevitable. Just do it today. You're going to be in the same argument is you're going to be in a week from now on a month from now. So just.
