"Lubbock seems to be on the up and up. It just seems to get better every year. It just seems to one of those cities that just keeps going, rise, climb, climb, climb, climb. Yeah, I know when Texas came to town this year, it was a hell of a deal out there. Love it. And I love this rally, but it doesn't seem to have any night games. I love it. It seemed to have a lot of love. That's more, yeah, that's performance based, really. I mean, there are night tomorrow, Pat Mahomes is going into the Hall of Fame tomorrow night, so that'll probably be a rowdy one, but. Lubbock's got over 300,000 people, but the best probably tell you it's the college towns, like Baton Rouge is a huge city, but it's a freaking college town, right? Like Lubbock getting big, but it's a college town. Those are the ones where people like shut it, shut it all down. Like Fort Worth, no matter what, it'll look like TCU is, you know, that's obviously four words. DFW's big 12 school, but then you have SME all this other crap, but dude, most of the alums from other schools are all tech, Texas a and M, university, I mean, all over the goddamn place just because it's too big. So, I mean, TCU actually like they actually have a hard time selling out night games compared to early ones sometimes. I know that sounds insane. But it's because of the people that are there.

I saw the story yesterday, right as we were winding down and the statistics are That in the city limits of Dallas. I'm not speaking of DFW as a whole, but as often is the case Dallas tends to make its dirty laundry more public than other cities here in the DFW area. But bottom line is that violent crime and targeted areas of this city of the city of Dallas, and that's where I sit right now. It's not where I live, but it's where I sit. Seems to be down by double digits. This is Chief Eddie Garcia, he told the Public Safety Committee said homicides and robberies are down in the last three months, he said, We put an all hands on deck type mentality out there violent crimes off 46% in the targeted grids compared to the 18 week pre intervention period. He said. 11 of those 47 grids are gonna have to be carried over into face tube. High police. Visibility is what seems to be making a different sheet. Who to thank I was thinking about that. Gosh, what would make crime go down? Fear of getting caught fear of being arrested? You think maybe Yeah, I would think that would at least play into it to some extent. Now I have been through this before. I've lived in multiple cities around the United States and I've seen announcements and I'm not saying that That's the case with this. So please don't get me wrong. I'm not. I'm not pointing fingers and I'm not questioning the veracity of this. I'll just operate with the idea that all good well, that's positive. Violent crime is down in the city limits of Dallas. That's good, happy to hear it. But what I have seen happen in the past and this is something that I would alert anybody to look out for. Is that When there is a crime emergency type situation. I saw this happen in Washington D. C. I saw what happened in Seattle. Saw the remnants of it happened in Las Vegas when I lived there When it seems like it's unsafe to walk the streets. That's bad for the Chamber of Commerce. The brochure does not like to reflect things like that. So what ends up happening? And actually, I think this has taken place in the city of Dallas before as well. I think it's the first place I actually saw it happened was back in the odds. Crime had gotten pretty high. People are really concerned. And of course, when crime is high, and people are concerned, they call their representatives and the representatives called the police chief and Call him or her on the carpet and say, what in the world's going on over there. You've got to fix this. I got unhappy voters. And what I've seen happen in the past is that cities will change the definition of what constitutes a certain type of crime. Now, once again. I'm not saying that's what they're doing here. Eddie Garcia seems like a pretty stand up guys. Police chief So we'll give him a chance. He hadn't been in the office very long. So I'm giving a complete chance and say his ideas are working. Okay, that's good. But what we've seen is they will change the definition. That a violent crime doesn't constitute. Uh I don't know. Assault and battery will now define it in a different way. And so while AAA. You define it in a different way, And suddenly the crime statistics look a lot better than they did. Look, crime has gone down. This type of crime has gone down by 29%. Because we no longer define it. The way.

I mean you can intellectually think that you can grasp these con concepts but your teacher is having. You actually perform this stuff. It's no different in the workplace. I mean it seems to me. Awful and i and these divers found some unexploded world war two era ordinance. They found two bombs. One was at seventy four feet and the other one was at ninety four feet. The divers immediately notified to hawaii division of aquatic research. Who went out to investigate it and confirmed it was unexploded ordinance the report indicated that the munitions were about three hundred yards offshore. The exact location wasn't disclosed when but it may be in the area of the first and second cathedrals again personal for me. Because i have probably about at least twenty. Five dives onto cathedrals as of now. There aren't any more updates and there was no mention on the divers website and they run many charters out to the site. Let's see where this goes.
