Matt Whitaker Reacts to the Supreme Court's EPA Ruling

"On a case that is not getting frankly as much in is because it takes a little bit more to discuss, but it's pretty plain and simple. The EPA court, I was excited as much about the West Virginia case, is any of the other case believe me, I was excited about the Dobbs case and others. But this EPA case is something you saw firsthand dealing in the administration level that executive branches have believed that they can have more power than Congress gives them to give us your thoughts on that. Well, I think there's always been an unholy alliance between the administrative state, the ABC admin, you know, unelected bureaucrats and the Congress who don't have to make the tough choices of what they're actually going to regulate. And so they've offloaded in very vague statutes. Some of these powers, whether it's to regulate water, regulate air, quality, regulate all these issues, and of course the administrative state has picked up the baton and run as far as they possibly can. This West Virginia case, I think you're right. I think it's a very important case. Probably not the most important because Dobbs, you know, certainly. Was revolutionary in its restoring the balance of power in the constitution between three branches in the states, but ultimately this West Virginia case versus the EPA is puts the administrative Genie back in the bottle. Makes Congress pass specific legislation to address these issues that are determined to be important. And again, a restores power to the people and takes it out of Washington, D.C., and out of these unelected bureaucrats. So

Doug Collins and Matt Whitaker Discuss the Left's 'Judicial Activism'

"Line, we got former active attorney general Matt winner, good friend of mine, got to know him a lot. We sort of traded books. He's been in my books. But Matt, it is good to have you on how you been today. I'm doing awesome. My friend, how are you? Happy Independence Day. Hey man, happy independence. It's good to celebrate it, isn't it? You know. We have the best country in the world. Well, and we just always need to remember the Patriots that gave the ultimate sacrifice or were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. Not only to secure our liberty, but also to defend it for the last almost 250 years. It's really a celebration of just what makes America great, I think. Oh, I agree with you completely and looking at it. But I want to turn my attention, of course, we've had a, I think, and I said it in the first segment today. The left is calling a judicial activism. We're simply calling it back to reality and interpreting interpreting the law in a constitutional. I mean, what we're seeing out there right now is that it reminds me of the scene from The Wizard of Oz, the liberals. I don't think it's amazing because actual real law. But I want you to respond to this. I mean, what bothers me about this though is the president has been overseas. He's been to G 7. Whatever, but he's been there. But then when he had the opportunity when he starts talking about it, he actually degrades our court on a world stage. I want you to listen to this and I want to get your comments on this. I'm joined by a group of democratic governors. We work closely to protect women's rights after this tragic reversal of roe V wade. The terrible extreme decision in my view, upending lives and impacting on the health and safety of millions of women. And I share the public outrage at this extremist court that's committed to moving America backwards. And now Matt, come on. I mean, he said this day, but he said it on world stage. Tell me, what is this court extremist, except they didn't know what they want. No, I mean, I think this restores constitutional jurisprudence closer to the constitution. And I've never, you know, the Democrats are always talking about democracy, right? They're always like, we're a democracy. We're actually we're a constitutional republic, but let's not quibble. Mark Meckler: There's a Radical Awakening on Many Levels

"Air, Mark, do you feel like there is an awakening in America that mama bears and papa bears are starting to get engaged that the pendulum might be slowing down and swinging back the other way? I think there is. And I think there's a radical awakening taking place on many levels, you know, I was one of the original folks in the Tea Party movement and build the Tea Party patriots. That was a big wave election back in 2010. It was a big movement. I think this is more important and bigger. And the reason I say that is not just because of the size and scope of it, but it's the age of the participants. If I think back to the Tea Party movement, I'm 60 now is about 50 when that was going on. I was young for the Tea Party movement. You know, 50 and up. If you look at the movement taking place today, it's parents with school aged kids. They're 25, 30, 35, 40 years old. That's going to have a long tail to at least people are ferociously defending their children. It's not about posterity. It's about my kids right now being sexualized, being taught, racist tenants, parents are angry, they're rising up and they're getting engaged in politics. They're going to be engaged in politics for the next 30 or 40 years. So I think this is a sea change in American politics.

Mark Meckler: Biden Had the Right to Reverse 'Remain in Mexico'

"Mark, there has been a series of victories in the Supreme Court for America and for conservatives. However, just a few days ago, in the last 24 to 48 hours, Americans are ringing their hands over a victory that was handed to Joe Biden regarding the remain in Mexico policy. Yeah, it is absolutely frustrating and basically just for in summary for folks what it says is president Trump had put into place something called the remain in Mexico policy, which required somebody who was applying for asylum in the United States to remain in Mexico while that asylum determination was being made. And that resulted in the turn back as far as we know of at least 70,000 people who otherwise would have been brought into the country and released pending their hearings most of them never to show up for those hearings. Unfortunately, what the Supreme Court said is that the Biden administration had the right to and did reverse that policy and that that was totally supportable under the law. I'm going to say something that a lot of conservatives don't like. I think that the Supreme Court on this one right. Unfortunately, sometimes we get the right result legally and we don't like the result from a policy perspective, but I actually think they got this one correct. I think this was a discretionary policy that was put into place. And I think the Biden administration had the right to reverse it.

Are You Proud to Be an American?

"I do believe that there is some redemption. I really do. I am the eternal hopeful person. I am the eternal optimist. I know that we're bracing for a red wave in November. But we also have to we also have to make sure in that wave, there are some current conservative water drops in that red wave. That's true. And not just a general wave. And with the pushback toward the center, I think we'll see that number rise and I think there will be some great things, but right now people are paying on average 17% more overall for a cookout. You're seeing gas prices, of course, more than double than last year. And I know locally and probably with your utilities as well where you live, we're on the Tennessee valley authority near our flagship station, but I'm sure you as well where you live, you're going to see significant increases this summer. We were just told here in the Memphis, Tennessee area to brace for an increase in utility bills of 20 to 40%. So not only does it cost more to get to the store, then good luck finding things on the shelves and then getting back home and it's gonna cost you 20 to 40% more just to store your perishable items to keep them from getting spoiled. There's a lot to be. There's a lot to be worried about in our country, but does that mean we have to get rid of our pride? I don't think so, but only 39% of Americans say they are proud to be Americans. This according to a Fox News poll, are you proud to be an American call us

Fox News Poll: Only 39% of Americans Are Proud to Be an American

"Referring to is a recent recent Fox News channel poll that says only 39% of Americans say they are proud of the country today. That's a little bit more than one in three and to give you some context on how steep of a slide we're talking about, even in 2017, just 5 years ago, that number, 51% of them back in 2017, a majority of Americans were proud to be American and now that number has dipped under 40%. It seems like it almost mirrors the popularity rate of Joe Biden. Yes, it does. And that's pretty staggering of a drop. And I would love to know then this would be going more into the weeds about it, but just to know how much it's dropped in the past two years since Biden has taken office. That's what I'm curious about. When did it start? Did start during the pandemic? Did it start before then? When was like the big drop in the chart? If I were a betting man, I would think it would be much like a lot of inground pools that it starts with kind of a shallow dropdown. And then all of a sudden, boom, there's the deep end. There's the steep drop off. And I have to give credit to the liberal left because they've had about a three or four decade head start maybe 50 year head start on the rest of America when it comes to hate in America. It's been a long time. It's been ahead of the trend. It's been one, if not two generations of indoctrination in schools, and thank goodness during the pandemic parents started paying attention and looking over their kids shoulders like, um. What exactly? What exactly are you teaching my kids? And I think there has been a bit of an awakening, but I totally understand this number because there's so many people that have been taught and to accept that our best days are behind us, Barack

"Are still in the ground. I don't remember any gray is popping open and people walking out. So I'm wondering how they voted. They didn't. I know there was a lot of people turned away from the polls saying that their boat wasn't necessary. Or their vote has already been cast for them. There have been complaints from many poll workers. About how they were told that they needed to change the votes on some of the ballot, I mean, you know what happens when you do. I'm sorry. Yeah, okay. All right. You know, Biden and Harris board there are perfect couple. I don't even think they like each other to be honest. But, you know, both of them really have ignored blatantly ignored the border crisis. And I mean, not just ignored it. I mean, look, you're Biden probably the only halfway thought out thing that Biden's doing that I know since he's been in office with me. Kamala Harris, the borders are she wasn't going to do it. But anyway, he not only pawned it off on his vice president. He also pawned the problem off of Donald Trump. And, you know, more recently, when they pulled a troops out of Afghanistan, Donald Trump, I mean, I don't know if I'm sorry, mister president, but I'll note. Sippy cup. Joe Biden said that I think it was right before he pulled the troops out. He said, oh, there's no way that the Taliban has gone to take over a ball. That just won't happen man. It's only been 11 days and it's a wrap. They're killing America's left and right. Last report, I saw earlier today was 12 American soldiers one sailor killed by the tower band. And I'm sorry, Biden, you should have known better. You knew better. But you know what? Now, there's not any country in the world that's going to look to the United States as a solid, trustworthy ally because we have turned our back on allies. I mean, way back. But, you know, just with Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel, nobody's going to trust us. And look, if you don't think that when the guns start getting pointed at us, you think anybody's coming to help us. So next, they lied about having no vaccine when taking office one, I saw Joe Biden get both of his vaccinations before he ever swore in. All in all, these people are dismantling. No, they're not dismantling. They're obliterating the constitution of the United States of America and they're trying to tell you that they're not doing that. Man, please, please wake up. That's what they want. The problem is, the United States was informed that way. Our republic was formed so that the power stayed in the hands of the people. You don't believe me. It's in the just read the constitution. Read it. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, blinking. What kind of name is it? Anyway, the point is all these people are terrorists. And Owen is Fauci feller? Y'all keep listening to him about the mass y'all are really puppets. Listen. If you're not paying attention, I get it. You got too many other things to do. Okay, just listen to me now, since you're here. Fauci funded the Wuhan lab where the virus started. Boy, call me a liar, but I prefer that you do so with solid facts. Check it out and don't go to Wikipedia is not a valid source. They're domestic terrorists, okay? They don't fund it. They knew about it. They backed it up. They were agreed with everything. They're behind it all. I don't believe anybody's got a long list of stuff like this going on without Fauci. And here's something else. Blinking. You know, our Secretary of State, that moron ordered the pride flags and the BLM implies to be home on all of our American industries all over the place..

"Donald Trump. A racist, but if I hear it again, I think I will scream. Donald Trump is probably the last person on the planet. You would want to call a racist. He's really not particular. He lies a particular looking woman. He likes what he calls good-looking. And he didn't. I don't think he ever, you know, no I'm pretty sure he never worried about the color of their skin or their nationality. Have you all noticed that his wife is not, she's American, but she is not originally from this country. Did you all know that? As you paid attention to this? I mean, she is a beautiful woman. She is a very classy woman, but she is not from this country originally. Just like the rest of us. Unless you're Native American. But isn't it cool? He's married to a very high class woman and it didn't matter where in the world literally she came from. She's good to him. He's good to her. They've got an awesome family. And you know what, that's all that really counts. And listen, let me be fair about something real quick because I'm hitting on this primarily because of BLM and all the talk about black people getting shot by white police officers and , you know, all this kind of stuff, it's really as an honor to even go down that road. And I know there are a lot of people who don't buy into a lot of this BLM stuff. I get that. And I know that racism has really died out a lot over, I guess, a last 15 or 20 years, you know, and that's really been a relief to be honest. But it sounds like once I started dying down board, it just BLM stuff started. And it should be ALM, okay? All lives matter. Blue lives matter. Y'all remember that movement? Police lives matter? "Actually, we did it. Joe Biden did it. He pulled all of our troops from Afghanistan. Hey, look, don't get me wrong. I've been wanting to get out of Afghanistan for a long time. We've been over there. I think 20 years, maybe a little longer. Too long, really? Did we not learn anything from Iraq? Did we learn anything from any of the past wars and conflicts we've been involved in? You made plans to pull out. You don't just send them playing Jacobs and bring them home. That is not the way we do things, okay? See, what happened is that Joe Biden sent all our troops right back to the United States of America, but you know what he did? He left. Several thousand, American citizens, in Afghanistan, and God knows how many Afghans actually helped the United States military when we were there and think about all the comes with a nice trade deal. They help us. We help them and their families with citizenship in the United States. Hey, look, that's a good trade. I like that trade. Because they're taking serious risk helping the Americans out. What we have a whole lot of top secret equipment over there too that was used by the military. Well, guess what? It's all still over there. Guess who's driving around in it now, the Taliban. Yep. Oh, and how about this? We also gave the Taliban, our military airport. I'm sorry, but if you don't find that retarded, stupid, even? You need to go reinsert. Because there's nothing I can tell you. The bottom line is you get all your civilians out. You get the people out that helped you. The people you may promise is to. You get all of your top secret equipment out and look. Okay, I'm sorry. I'm never going all that here. I could get Marty winded on this stuff, though. Bottom line is our equipment is top secret, just like many other countries have top secret equipment as well. If we are not going to transport it home, the only other alternative is to destroy it before you leave. So instead we got our troops out of there. And that was it. So now the Taliban's got a whole bunch of top secret information on the United States of America God knows what could be done with it. How do you like that? A world greatest terrorist organization has our top secret information. Oh God. Okay, now then, to top it all off. Well, it's not really a top it all off. This is Joe Biden's classic response to anything, especially with Afghanistan when he sit. How was it in his speech? Let me try to get it closed. I'm the president of the United States, the book stops with me. But when I came into office. How does Joe again 80.

"Don't get along just in case you didn't know and now we're a win bid with iran. We if i remember regularly i heard news reports that we were supplying directly or indirectly the missiles that hamas was firing at israel. And y'all had any idea the problems with turning your back on or even attacking israel. That is never a good idea. You don't have to like them just know that it's very smart to be friends with israel but instead what does joe biden do. I'll get to that one in a man. I really want to run over it now. But i am going to get to here in a minute. The next thing biden did as a self professed catholic. And and i think i'm free to say this because i'm a cradle catholic. I'm recovering cradle catholic. In other words. I was born in the catholic church. I grew up in the catholic church. And now i'm no longer catholic now christian but the catholic church has a lot of serious knows asking a priest none. They can't get married. They have to sign a vowel celibacy. And a what would you say you're right. Poverty and guess what catholic church is riddled with child-molestation preferably altar boys. And priests right no. It's not a good idea but you know the catholic church is having a lot of problems with that. Why because they have to sign vows. Celibacy our president a so self-professed catholic whether he's a true catholic or not. Well that for you to decide. I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you definitively. He should be banished from the church because he not only prude or hidden. He made a law that it's okay to have an abortion up to right at birth. I mean right at birth. But not just to win here in america who want to have an abortion ono we're paying for abortions all over the world for the sake of humanity that's a crime against humanity. It is absolutely ridiculous. No no no no is criminal to believe that you're gonna be aborting. Baby is not taken a life. Okay let me ask you something. If you're old enough to have children that are old enough to serve in the military or if you have children who have served in the military and god forbid you'd be one of those that had children who served in the military and paid the ultimate price that don't feel to good doesn't it doesn't feel good at all as a matter of fact is a pain. That doesn't go away when you lose a loved one in battle. Are you saying now. It hurts to lose one in battle. But it doesn't hurt to kill one in the womb. Abortion is murder my way of thinking. That's my belief. Okay now you know how babies are made right way. You know how to get started anyway. You know man and woman. Not not adamant steve man and woman procreate in what happens is through the miracle of their you know their procreation the miracle of development starts and that's done by god. God created that life. You don't have the right to take it next..

"And believe me if you go back into the beginning of our presidential line up you will find that one of our presidents and his own vice president disagreed so much. They challenge each other to a duel and the president lost. The one who won was the vice president. Aaron burke but first joe biden raised all of donald trump's or. Try to get rid of everything. Donald trump had his hand in like for instance he's shut down the keystone pipeline. And by the way. America that killed thousands of american jobs. Are we that lazy now. Happy when the president takes jobs away from us come on get real people that is. He didn't just shut down our pipeline. He funded the russian pipeline. You know the northern pipeline. Well he cut our pipeline off because I think it was global warming. And he's trying to go all green and that's why we shut it down so america's gonna lead the way by going all green but then we're going to fund with our money another country's production of the very same type of thing. We shut down so that we could go all green. I'm sorry. I i just don't see the I don't see the intelligence behind that means pure stupidity quite frankly. It's you know to me. It is a melissa tent to destroy this country from the onset. That is all i have seen from joe biden and his on talloires if you will or his cohorts or his partners in crime.

"Better. Today, my topic is Biden's break backs better policy. I've been talking about this forever since the election I believe back in November. This is by going on for a while. And it really had me a little bit confused, really, by a lot of things since the election. I'm not even going to talk about the election right off the bat. But don't worry, I'm going to get to it. And I know you don't want to hear it, but we're going to talk about it, okay? We need to talk about these things. Because there's a lot of things going on right now. And I'm afraid I'm afraid there's too many people in our country who really just don't know, don't understand they don't care about what's going on with America or should I say without America because this country is just about destroyed. I mean, there's no other way to put it. And that's what we're going to be talking about today because Biden has not built back anything. All he has built is a wall of BS and try to throw out all the entangling bureaucracies to keep you confused and try to keep you all steps so that you'll think he's doing his job and he's probably in his basement right now with his sippy cup. And his Betty by blanket and probably has already been rid has been Tom's story and snoozing like a baby. So I'm gonna be talking about Biden's break backs better policies. And I'm gonna start with the very, very, very first thing that he did, his very first objective when he took office when he swore off into office. And by the way, he swore over very similar to mine when I went in the military to defend the constitution of the United States of America. Now, I know there's a lot of there's a few Biden supporters out there. And I'm just going to tell you if you're still supporting Biden is because you don't know the constitution. You have no idea what your rights are. And if you want to comment, you go right ahead, I'll be happy to read them. You send me anything. I will. I will give it to you attention. And yeah, I may address some of it. I'm not going to tell y'all won't address some of it. But I'll probably will, know and me. The very first thing that Joe Biden did after he swore in as the president of the United States of America, he started to do nothing. And if you pay attention, go back and look at the news reports, you know, they actually video the president signing off on executive orders, so you can go find the newsreels and you will see that I think the first 20 or 30 executive orders that he signed were specifically to overturn executive orders and policies that president Donald J Trump put into action while his administration was running things. Everything that had Donald Trump stamp on it, Joe Biden overturned it with an executive order. If you don't see anything wrong with that, just let me run off the bat..

"Great job of picking up extra yards after initial contact And somebody who might not be super shifty but you know when you hit him. He's going to keep going. The falcons of course have their own questions along the offensive line and arthur smith is coming over from a team where he was used to having one of the most physical backs in the league and a guy who unsurprisingly led the league in that particular metric yards after contact. Mike davis i think was fourth in the nfl last year. So this is a guy who you see it when you watch him. You see it when you take a look at the numbers. He's just a good fit for this offense. And i think he's going to have a really good year so long as it stays healthy In that lead role the big question for me is never having had like three hundred dutch workload and the nfl in the season before. What does that look like. you know. Of course seventeen games for him. And and how much are they gonna ask rely on some of their other options. Seventeen sixteen which we point that out. But that actually matters for running backs keystone wanna point out. Career rushing attempts for. Mike davis four hundred twelve derrick henry in two thousand three hundred seventy eight so. Mike davis had over his entire career. Just a handful more carries than what derrick henry in one season last year with arthur smith. I do not think to your point. I don't think we're going to see that And you know frankly. Davis is a better receiver. A he had fifty nine receptions last year for carolina for three hundred seventy three yards So he's he's actually a fairly good receiver out of the backfield Gina we have heard a lot of people. Say oh arthur. Smith doesn't have his derrick henry Does mike davis need to be derrick henry in atlanta. I feel like that. That is an overstated point. When we go into the season yeah. I don't think that he does. And you know one thing. I do just want to kind of piggyback off of what dave was saying another metric where davis did lead the. Nfl last year was broken. Tackles with twenty one which is also very impressive. also this man has quads. That probably deserve their own spot on the depth chart. So you know he i so. I don't think that he needs to be there cannery. But i think that he does think that his skill set is pretty much ideal for what the falcons are going to need from him And the fact that he's an affordable player that they were able to lock him up given their salary. Cap challenges I think that you know. That's obviously a factor here but yeah. I don't think that he has to be derrick henry but we do have to see some actual production out of the running back through the sheer about something that the team has really struggled with over the past few years and so i think that adding mike davis to the mix definitely puts them in a better position to do that. This rare that you find a player. That's twenty eight running back that has so few carries but yet is a relative relatively accomplished player. Obviously we're not getting in a guy that's a that we're expecting to be pro baller or anything. But he should at minimum be a equality part of a rotation. I think if. Mike davis ends up. Getting three hundred fifty carries in my mind. Something has probably either gone really really well or really really wrong. So yeah i think he'll probably Pass two hundred carries this year. I don't know get three hundred. It's a lot is going to depend on The rest of the offense. The development of cal pits the wide receivers. And frankly we're sort of guessing. What arthur smith wants to do with the personnel atlanta. I don't think he's going to do the same thing. He didn't necessarily tennessee where he did. Have one of the best running backs football He just simply doesn't have that here and it'll be interesting to see how he accommodates for that But it sounds like we all agree that mike davis is going to be at this point the lead back even if it's part of a rotation and the next player wanna bring up because his stats over. The past. Two years have been interesting in twenty nineteen as a rookie drafted in the fifth. Round by the falcons. He had twenty two carries for fifty yards for four touchdowns. That's a two point three yards per attempt which is not great. But i guess. The four touchdowns is a fantastic. If you're that random person in fantasy that snatch disguise a starter for whatever reason and then twenty twenty. He literally played in three games. He had one carry for three yards I'm of course. Talking about falcons draft pick Quadri olsen who is. He's the biggest back on this team. He's six foot one. And i say that quarter o- patterson who is technically being listed as a running back is more of an offensive weapon is is an inch taller but quadra ellison is six hundred thirty two pounds a and the word. We're getting camp. Gina is that this guy is getting a lot of reps and he is right now. It looks like the number two running back in the rotation and maybe even the head of you know the other free agent signing in quarter of patterson. Are we getting ahead of ourselves with listen. Obviously his first two years have been just a complete dud. But part of me wants to say the coaching staff before. Didn't know what they had in him. Maybe or dirt cutter. Didn't know what what's your take on. Listen and why or why shouldn't we Keep an eye on him as a potential rotational guy that actually gives meaningful snaps this year. Yes i love to remind people of the fact that dirk cutter thought it was a good idea. Throw fades Quiz rather in the end sound so. I think it's a fair expectation to assume that cutter did not know how to use all of a sudden. I think that it's really encouraging that he's been getting so much. Work with first team I do think this this team is going to deploy a rotation that running back. And i do think alison stands to be a big part of that rotation and so Yeah i'm i'm really excited about has the potential here and just also pairing him with a play caller. Who knows what they are doing would be should be a boost for his productivity. But yeah i think that he's probably gonna be slotted in at that number two spot. I'm patterson i agree with you. I think they're gonna use him and a lot of ways. He is more of a swiss army knife type of player. And so i think we'll see him contributing on special teams and the passing game and and the run game. But i think that my expectation right now is that. It's going to be mike davis and then all of a sudden and those first two spots. Yeah dave group that alison. I think is one of the most confounding of the running backs that are competing for a roster spot and He's certainly has a very weird history. With the falcons. Is this year. He turns around yeah. I've been struggling with that one a little bit because.

"d backs" Discussed on Daily Coronavirus Update

"Podcast in Los Angeles and this is your daily coronavirus updates act. How's your body holding a working from home for a lot of people? It's taking a toll on their necks and backs or ergonomics and weeks of bad. Posture has led to backaches neck. Pain and headaches errands. Inner reporter for the Wall Street Journal joins us for what to do to help your body out. Thanks for joining us. Erin glad to be with you. I saw this article from you. Working from home is taking a toll on our backs and necks and right away. I threw my hands up in the air and I was like. That's exactly what's happening to me. Has a lot of people have been working from home. They've had to quickly make a Home Office. And you know not everybody has done it. The right way per se. Oh I can only speak for myself. I have no space in my house. Really for an office setup so what I had to do was we have like a little kitchen nook and that's where I've set my thing up and it's a hard bench. I have no back support their and sometimes after work in a whole day there. My back is killing me. But that's kind of what's happening to a lot of people. Aaron tell us a little bit about your experience is is what I heard. From a lot of people and physical therapists and chiropractors. We were all sent home or a lot of us were sent home. Those of us who work in office jobs were sent to work from home and the first month was about finding a place to work. And if you're fortunate to have home with some space in it. Maybe you took to the SOFA or an armchair but I was also hearing about people in cities who were crying on the phone with their doctors saying Oh. My roommate claimed the kitchen table. And I'm stuck working all day in the bedroom and I'm on the bed and my back is killing me so the first month for a lot of us was about finding a place to work and what I found. Is that the second month. Now that we're eight weeks into this is about the pain that's come from not quite getting it right. We haven't nailed the arrogant onyx and the the muscle strain has built up now for two months and is really causing a lot of problems. This is the second month problem more than a first month. Work from home problem and one of the craziest things as you think you have this comfy chair that she can sit in and you set up maybe with laptop or something and do some emails whatever the case may be a meeting or something and even that comfy chair. Just the way you're sitting in it is doing you all sorts of wrong. That's right. I mean our homes are set mostly for comfort. Where are we going to sit when we watch? Tv or read a book. But now that we're doing those things we're still watching TV. Were still reading a book. We're probably spending more time. Tv and we're all spending the rest of the day with our laptops in that same chair on that same sofa without proper posture. It's really building up and you combine this with the fact that a lot of people are more sedentary now. I know I used to go to the gym before work. I don't do that now. At least I would walk to my car. Go Park it and then walked to my office. There are fewer opportunities to change your posture industry at your legs and that's compounding problems on the in. The kitchen nook on a hard bench. Sometimes I'm in that comfy chair writing emails. Sometimes I'm laying down on the bed reading and doing some research. I was even outside getting attacked by a squirrel on one day. It's I've been all over the place with this whole thing and one of the other things that has been bothering a lot of people to beyond the finding a comfy workspace is actually working on the laptops and our cell phones and the way our neck is positioned is also beginning to bother a lot of people here. No you're hitting something important. A lot of us are creating strain because we work on laptops and we look down at the screen and then we look at our phones and spend a Lotta time on talk or or email or whatnot on our phones. And we're looking down at our phones and a couple of Chiropractors said that your head depending on your male or female or who you are can way twelve pounds or so. But when you're you're angled down and your neck is angled so that you're looking down at a screen a laptop or phone your neck muscles have to hold up what becomes the equivalent of sixty pounds and over time that creates a lot of strain and you can get headaches and backaches so you spoke to a few chiropractors and Ergonomic specialist their recommendations and how to reduce stress on the body. This is going to be going on for a little bit of times though. So what can people do to help themselves? What I was told by number of people is number one. Don't look down at that screen if you're working on a laptop by a stand for it or put some books under it so that the screen has raised and your eyes should be about at the level of the Monitor so that you're looking across at the screen or slightly up rather than down to make that work. A lot of people are going to need to buy an external keyboard or a mouse. 'cause you don't WanNa raise your laptop on some books then have to raise your arms up high to type on the laptop. You want your arms to be at kind. A Ninety degree angle at your sides about the same level as your elbows your on your keyboard and mouse be about the same level of your elbows. So if you didn't raise a screen and then to get a detachable keyboard to keep that lower down at elbow height you'll be better off and that goes for your phone to don't look down at your phone. You're typing on your phone. Maybe kind of. Tuck your elbows on your chest and raise your phone so that it's closer to high level some of the other ones. Don't slouch sit up straight with a little her back and you know it's some of these same things that you get tips. Were in the office. You know. Move around so you're not always in that same spot just to help relieve some of the muscles but you gotta take care of your body and your posture even at home. Especially since we're all spending so much more time. Their errands it near reporter at the Wall Street Journal. Thank you very much for joining us. "And you know I saw so I have a d. back sat up here. Yeah I don't know if it's in the shot but I'm going to point to it shot right now. I don't know if it is when I get in the screen and the split screen. I don't know maybe I'll have to make an overlay so I can see it but the one that I have out. Grab it the one that I have has the gold outline on the snake. Yeah Okay you can see it there. It's got that gold outline around the SEDONA red snake an initially. When I saw that they are are they're redoing some stuff with the d-backs that they are I guess being going to be more prominent with that Turquoise Yeah I saw the snake instead of the goal outline the turquoise outline fine as kind of like you know that looks really really good together it does looks really good and the one that looks like they're going to be wearing that that color scheme with is It's their home whites. d-backs has turquoise Turquoise numbers and then it's got black black lettering with the with the trick was outlined and I love it. Yeah it's a home love. It's so clean. Yeah it's it's amazing it's fantastic and like you said. I think the debates probably have some of the coolest uniforms in baseball and it's not close. No no it's not. I don't know who it'd be behind him now. Those of you who are wondering what exactly is different. We'll point them out with. We'll put the video the the imagery up but if you'll notice the shoulders no longer have that kind of gradient started solid up at the neck and then down the shoulders. It became a dotted audited. Sort of gradient. There's no longer a gradient so it looks kind of like a Mesh overlay. Yeah that was my first thought. When I saw it it was supposed to be like snake scales but it looked like a Mesh overlay than anything? I don't know I I'm I'm glad it's gone but it's cleaner this way knows. I'm glad it's gone on like it. To begin with it definitely looks a lot cleaner lot. Sharper the colors pop better without it. That's true although so my biggest issue here is. They had an asphalt gray like a really bold dark grey that they used to pair with that Turquoise that's no longer there and I'm a little all sad about that I am too because I did look really good. Yeah it in fact. It was the one of the best uniforms in baseball last year. Yeah they asked. What color was great? I like that. So don't worry. We'll keep the asphalt t-shirt we have in the shop because it's cool 'cause we have one we have one but I'm still such. I'm still such a big fan of that SEDONA. Red that man as long as they keep that I'm I'm all in all one hundred percent agree. Well let's take a quick break and then when we come back we're going to talk about one of our favorite documentaries on baseball. It's called fastball. Take me out to the ballgame. Take to the crowd buy I'm me some peanuts and cracker.

Jan look it up this poll on it was. Rangers beat the D-Backs five to not their best brand of all. I don't think it was one of our best efforts today. "Jim cross it seemed like folks in the outfield the game yesterday. Everybody got a home run ball is up souvenir. The dodgers were on day for opening day. How about a franchise record eight home runs allowed by D-Backs pitching for by Zach Ranki and the dodgers lineup specialized that whole launch angle swing? Well, it was working put it that way. Eight dinger's and Steve axe take the loss in a big way on opening day. Twelve five is your final there. And once again Zach ranking gives up four home runs in three into third. So we'll see what that means. They got one hundred sixty one to go there, Jim. So it's not like they can't erase the taste of that in a in a hurry and still win the series. But yeah, the dodgers look formidable put it that way. Number one seed Virginia last night outlasts Oregon, fifty three forty nine Texas Tech you want formal Texas. See I took all the way to the final four because I figure it's the year a cliff Kingsbury, right? And that's his that's where he came. So that's my connection right there. I mean, you know, I I gotta try something sixty three forty four tech ends up being down. Michigan. Perdue in overtime beats Tennessee after Tennessee came all the way back ninety nine ninety four is your final there Gonzaga into the elite eight as well. And they were dominant. They beat Florida state seventy to fifty eight all right moment. Silence here big game big game tonight cadres at avalanche. And we all know that to points beyond that final playoff spot behind the app..
