Curtis Sliwa Is Taking the Fight to the Boroughs of New York City

"Well. There are five boroughs and as approximately close to nine million people 5% live on the island, and it truly is an island because politically it is so different than the rest of the city. It is a Red island. It is a Republican island. It is Staten Island. It is the reason market. I'm running for mayor of the city of New York because against their own party leadership. They nominated me to be the mayoral candidate. And now my battle is in the other four boroughs, which many of your listeners originally what from Brooklyn and Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan. And they're all blue. I mean, we're talking an 8 to 1 registration rate of Democrats to Republicans and those Republicans who used to be on the rolls. Either they passed away and there in heaven or maybe someone straight to hell without and especially shoot, or they fled the Florida North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee. And the exodus continues because it's an unlivable city. No quality of life. There's no zero tolerance towards crime. They vilified Rudy Giuliani, who saved us in 1993. And they view what he did as having been offensive to people of color. And yet you look now Mark you look at the horrific number of shootings, stabbings killings. The attacks of emotionally disturbed persons. You need mental health care in their medicine, and it's almost all by people of color against people of color. You mean to tell me it's a better city in this in this case? In the city that Rudy Giuliani inherited when there were 2000 murders a year 5000 most unsolved shootings and we went from being the crime capital, the murder capital to the safest big city in America. In the eight years of the Giuliani administration, and he attributes a lot of that to the help that I gave him with The Guardian Angels in our patrol in the roughest, toughest in its city neighborhoods of this city and on the

I will say it again. We are sending you every video every interview we do. We make a video and it is sometimes posted on youtube youtube becoming increasingly totalitarian and communistic that there's anything wrong with being you know Enforcing your atheist secularist worldview. Hey who are we to judge. In the words of the atheist pope francis who are we to judge but let me just say that honestly we post everything. If it's not on youtube it's on rumble but we want to send it to you and we can't do that unless you sign up for the newsletter. Now trust me folks This is not a big deal. One thing you can do is share the information we present on this program so if you get an email you can simply forward the email to people you think that would appreciate it or tell them to sign up for the newsletter and they can get it themselves but these these videos some of them are really important we just did one actually with My gosh we had a whole bunch. We had an amazing interview guinness. We had a an amazing Interview with him about his new book. It is fundamental. It's so good. We're gonna have to rerun it a few times because it was just an amazing conversation about the biblical roots of american liberty the biblical the undeniably biblical roots of the kind of government. That we have had here since the beginning since before the beginning. Frankly but that's another story since before. Seventeen seventy six We also did an interview. I want people to get to know tim eaten. He is the founder. Ceo of neutral. Metrics i want you to know who this guy is. Because as i say again we have tremendous economic power in america. And we've not leveraged it. And what i mean by that. Is that americans who share our values spend hundreds of billions of dollars every year. So the question is how do we spend it. Where do we spend it. Are you giving that money to companies like coca cola or nike Or now adidas or sketchers that do not share your values that are willing to look the other way when we're dealing with horrific human rights abuses. I mean you would you. Would you give your money to a company that has building the ovens You know to to to kill the jews of the gas chambers to kill the jews and the ovens to to cremate the jews. Would you give your your money to accompany that. Says we don't care. Somebody's gotta make the evans. So why shouldn't we. I don't think he would. Would you give your money to somebody who believes in slavery or rose enslaving people murdering people indiscriminately. I don't think so you wouldn't want to give you your money You know to the castro regime in cuba would you. Well if you don't then you shouldn't be giving your money to nike. You shouldn't be giving your money to any of the companies that we've mentioned on this program but you should be trying to give your money to companies that radically represent the values. We believe in the value of life the value of human dignity. This is not some right wing. Litany this is basic stuff In china today everybody in this country should stand against everybody in every country should stand against it so the way. I say that we can do that. Is try to bless those companies that are sharing values so neutra medics if you listen to the interview which we've just posted. "That match but then again because they have ranked choice voting. Which is a real school way to to choose your mayoral candidates. But they've opted for this process and it'll give them an opportunity to pick candidate. One candidate a to candidate pre and then it's a process of elimination if nobody gets fifty percents. They're way ahead in terms of raising the movie schmoozer in the money. Necessary to run a campaign to defend your honor so i was the last to announce but everybody knows i'm associated with law and order public safety bringing the quality of life back ten eight to say reform the police and hire more police. And i've actually come up with a way to do that. Because i looked across the plains of new york city and said who is paying property tax. Oh madison square garden it up paying property tax columbia university six sits on eleven billion dollar endowments. Nyu why you. Five billion dollar endowments they pay no property tax but the pilot of the a lot of the properties up for sale and take them off the commercial and the residential property tax rolls. Then there's rockefeller medical then this cornell medical when you start ending up the numbers. If they paid their proper property tax we can not only refund the billion dollars that the blasios and democratic socialists of america by aol see all our crazy alexandria. Ocasio cortez took from the budget but we could hire an additional three thousand police giving us thirty eight thousand police which is exactly the number. The rudy giuliani had what he took back this city after david. Dinkins the mentor. The bill de blasio subjected us to a crime wave in which there were two thousand two hundred murders year but giuliani needed the cops. He got the cops he was able to do the job in order to do the job. I would need the cops. And that's how we could not only restore their complementary store them routes but was store their numbers and make them proactive. Again not reacted. Can you stay on for another segment or you're gonna have to go. I got about six minutes in the next segment. We'll we'll with you eric. We're with you because this is your your most unique broadcast ever from the streets of kings county where we saw hero cop Released from the er to prospect park to some card that i've just hijacked here to continue soon portions of. Yeah all right. Well look. We're going to be right back folks. I'm talking to curtis. This is not a joke. This man knows this city. "Folks. I'm talking to the next mayor of new york. Curtis sleepy wa. Curtis you take the cake. I never know where to begin with you. You're sitting on a citi bike. People watching us on video. We're not making this up. You're sitting on a citi bike. And what neighbor you near prospect park. Where's that brooklyn at prospect park in central brooklyn very bucolic. But i just came from king's county hospital where police officer was just released. Thank god would have been shot three times last night in brooklyn while stopping to gangs having a firefight so i go from The belly of the beast to pure paradise prospect park is beautiful. And you're there you're literally on a citi. Why are you wanna citi bike. What is going on well as well. Because i wanna pedal anywhere. It's because in order to be able to do this zoom interview with you. I have to be elevated. And i actually have my iphone on a banana box. So i i'm improvised. And what is the homeless gentleman. Here actually help me out with this. I had to borrow his banana box again. Five dollars but he's he's very happy. He's very happier. What what more do we need as proof that you're a man of the people. Curtis i wanna cut to the chase here. Because i'm not kidding. I hope and pray that you will be the next of the city. We don't deserve a great mayor as you would be. But i hope we get one. Let me ask you What are the polls saying right now. Because it's such it's been such a crazy city to elect somebody like bill de blasio comrade the blasios. It's hard to believe that new yorkers can elect somebody that not just tragically left but incompetent out of touch. I mean why do you think you will be able to be elected in a city. That's gone crazy. Because bill de blasio as i call The part time mayor the dope from arch slope is so disconnected that he has no supporters. So people on the far right gave up on him even before he was selected for mayor moderates. They gave him a little bit of a chance in bailed out on him and his first term but even his friends the radicals you know his fellow sacked by me so said join him. But you're saying even the leftists have abandoned him which is true. I mean i. I don't think he has. There's nobody in the city in this day. Who would say they're a fan of bill de blasio but At the same time is he running again. He's not running again in the fall. And i don't know if we've got your audio we don't have video go ahead you just saw okay all right you see. I'm campaign you the incredible. I still can't see we still can't see you but it's a radio program but some people watch it on video so we'd love to see your happy face gonna try to correct that momentarily but go ahead. Let's continue our conversation. Yeah so i guess my question is. I don't know who you're going to be running up against in the fall but the blasio. He's he's timed out right. He cannot run at is correct Thank god that term limits that he's going to go back to cambridge massachusetts where he'll be an adjunct professor hopefully at harvard university. Although i have a feeling he'll corrupt an entire new generation who will be studying political science and he'll be trying to teach them the bill de blasio. David dinkins way. I let now i can see you say david diggins is ronald reagan. Compared to build a blasi we thought thinking was as bad as it gets. A beam was as bad as it gets. No comparison as bad as beam and dinkins. Were bill de blasio. He just he towers over them. All in every in every sense you i want. I want to talk about this. You delivered on the sixtieth birthday of comrade bill de blasio you delivered a special birthday cake. The gracie mansion. I put this up on twitter. This is why we love you. It was a cake with a big meatball. And why didn't you say on the cake. Bo is so i Meatball cake ever created a ten pound. Maple that i and put on the cake because hey man sixtieth birthday. I figured i'd go over and visually gracie mansion eric. The last time. I was at gracie mansion two years ago. I had a serve him with civil court papers from a judge. Judge demanded that. I give it to him personally. And the mayor in a return favor had me arrested for doing such so. I got to wear the silver brace such an end up spending a few hours but you know nowadays with the ends up going to jail so i was. I was remand to the streets and given a disappearance tickets. But on this past saturday i was with a group of italian americans from bay ridge who are outraged that the mayor his department of education the acronym stands for dumbest organization ever had decided to eliminate christopher columbus stay in any teachings about christopher columbus and replace it only with the curriculum that focused on indigenous peoples. So i said hey this guy's a real meatball so let's honor him on his birthday by giving him. The world's biggest meatball ever assembled ten pounds and on it. It said in italian because he claims he's well version. Italian glad she are which means a disgrace. So you're calling bill de blasio. The world's biggest meatball. And and here's the world's biggest me. Listen i love it and you know curtis the thing is you. Were in some ways. You remind me of my friend mike. Lindell that you're such a man of the people that a lot of people don't realize how on the ball you are. You really have studied this city like no one has studied the city. You've gotten the ground up education over the decades in everything about new york and you understand what we need right now and i gotta tell you i see on the upper east side where i live which has been like you know in oasis for decades after giuliani. All of the trouble. Coming back the street people that just everything. It is astonishing how quickly the blasios has brought us back to the seventies when you started your career what what makes you think. I want to go back to the first question. Why do you think you could get elected in other words. One of the who is in the mix right now. What are the numbers. What do you think a first off. I have to get through a republican primary. There are only two of us. And i'm forty points ahead. In the most recent poll there was published in the wall street journal bag. Forty points ahead. Well the other guy. Nobody seems to know and he certainly hasn't been around the five boroughs of the city of new york. There aren't that many republicans to begin with a with a to one ratio in terms of registration. And that's where the democrats kick in there are thirteen of them seeking their party's nomination and i would say eight serious candidates and right now the polls seem to indicate that andrew yang who's visited new york city might potentially be the democratic nominee. And i would love running your jets deacon asking eric courtesy where is new york. Andrew young is trying to learn learn how to become a new yorker and so that would be a classic match would really love.

"Welcome to the eric metaxas. Show with your host eric. Metaxas folks back talking to nicholas wade science writer of many decades. And i have to ask you mr wade. I read your byline in the times myself for decades and i. I think that there was a time. When most americans of any political stripe they looked at science one way. They looked at journalism one way they knew that there are always going to be ideologues and people with biases but nonetheless the basics were there that seems to my mind have changed dramatically both in the world of journalism in the world of science things that we took for granted that there's a a a basis of objectivity that's gone away to some extent and you have people In this day and age it's on the left who seem to be troubled by facts as though facts themselves can have almost kind of taint that If if you write a book has charles. Murray dead or as you did about race just the idea of genetic reality. make some people uncomfortable but more. Recently it's been more dramatic with the with the issue of sexual identity. I mean i. I'd always been taught as a kid that you know. If you take a a tube of blood from any human being you could tell pretty quickly if it's male or female. Suddenly that is controversial. I find that strange. I don't know why we can't get those basics right and then have whatever conversations we want. It's quite as i hired ratchet. Appoint your gaza soulages actress to to to give the answers. I think he's something to do with the the political spectrum shifting to extreme left and extreme left as managed to to drag a lot of people along with it with ideas of absurd such as deny sexual differences denying biological basis to raise and these ideas are very ugly expressions. In cancelling trying to to shut up people. They dented agree with In banishing people from campus as as definitely a reign of fear on campus. If you speak out of town you can be retaliated against by academics. So just a small number of vigilantes. I think it's a very small number is driving. The discussion is destroying universities and impeding the ability to act fast institutions to the guardians of truth. Which is a big problem. how do you suppose the left and this is a little bit off topic but how is it that the left which was really the greatest champion of free speech In decades past has allowed itself to slide into free speech or or thinking of free speeches as just something that is not far from being sacrosanct. Is almost a dirty word in a way i. I'm just so simple science rights. And so i'm really on by a knowledge to come on your on your question which is a good one. I identify what is left has become so extremely. Could he be the but one reason. Is that the right. Has kind of the left's luncheon. Everyone now believes in the welfare state not an unbridled capitalism so that the workers are a looked after quite reasonably well by hottest from the right so that was driven left southern southern to the extreme. And they've been extremely successful in the rest of the culture and twisting institutions to view of how the world should be. But what do. I swear i was gonna say for a for a humble. Shucks science writer. He did a very good job answering that question. Maybe you want to revise your description of yourself I guess You work for the times for for a long time. Did you see that kind of institutional bias while you were there Was it What did it ever become an issue for you while you were there as a writer. I work for the neo times. Many as as you say very happily. I mostly in the science department would shot. All the time. I was mad with shielded from political baffles gang on elsewhere and so on questions now it wasn't an issue it's It's interesting you find that it is today in other words when when you write an article such as the one that We've been talking about. Did you feel that some people might publish it and others would not publish it. Well i think to talk about his publishing history as you can imagine. I predict various places but is on the left and the right but in the end i decided i knew so much about the subject. I just write right out. And i decided to links which no newspaper could reasonably be expected to tape incredibly diplomatic of you just to put it that way now. I believe i originally read it either on your blog or on your website. Am i mistaken. Well i didn't have a blog. I just use this website. Medium dot com. Which is basically a self option websites. You just sign up and you can ride one okay. Well it is a very long article It's very deep into the science. I pride myself on being able to even follow it. You know at tree top level but it was interesting to me that you just lay out the facts in a in a very In a very clear way in a very unbiased way and you bring very generous to the opposition. What amazes me is that it appeared now and as you said it could have been written a year ago. Why do you suppose others didn't write about this. I mean it. It's it's about as important as things get these days. There's this is not something obscure it's front and center in a way that almost nothing has ever been front and center In my lifetime and yet science writers whether at the times or other places they seemed to shrink from taking it on. I i where do you suppose that pressure would come from.

"This is a great opportunity. I joke around. It is such an amazing opportunity. We partner with food for the poor because they're reputable and because every single person wants to give back knows we have an obligation to give back to do something but you always wonder how. What do i give to do. I give to the red cross give to the. Are they reputable. They doing what well let me tell you. That's why we work with food for the poor because they are tremendously. Reputable they have an ability Just for an example thirty seven dollars. This is insane thirty seven dollars. If you give them thirty seven dollars they can feed a kid for six months. This is in honduras which has been devastated by back to back horrible tropical storms. They have the ability. They get donations of rice of beans. Whatever and they use the money that we give to get this food to kids. that literally are starving. And how do we give back. Well we know they're people far less fortunate than we are wherever we are in life And we have an obligation to do something. The only question is what that's why we work with food for the poor. "Who really does come across as high handed and others a lot of times people say that but he said something At the beginning of covid the the curve had just gone down dramatically or something like that and he said something. You can't make this up. He says god didn't do that. We did that right and even if you think you did it and you're a it doesn't even believe in god you wouldn't say something that stupid because it's tremendously offensive. God didn't do it. We did it right. Strike me now but even if you you did it you would have the humility to say that all good things come from god so i'm not going to be like competing with a. We did it and to get. But i thought to myself when he said that sometimes somebody says something you think. Whoa that guy is way out of touch. What world does he live in. He's obviously not hanging out in staten island. If he thinks that you can say something like that and people are gonna be like. He really seems wildly out of touch and right now what happened with the nursing homes. I mean people talking about the metoo stuff. I think that pales in comparison to what he did with the nursing home a business. Is it your understanding. Because i try to make sense of this that he did not send people to the hospital ships because politically. He didn't wanna help. Trump is that what happened. I don't think it had anything to do with what i did have to do. With is he is so full of himself and all the governance remember they were given the power of executive orders. Says made where during the pandemic remember. The original feel was that trump would misuse the executive powers and become a totalitarian dictator. Right you see executive powers during the pandemic on this and mayors every day rope out absolutely incredibly hurtful. Crackdown on people. driving them. Out of business when it came to the nursing homes. It's an executive order that said if somebody had corona virus and they were in a hospital and they were to be returned to a long-term senior citizen care unit. It was okay even though it defies logic and instead of apologizing for that which is in a humongous mistake. He just backed it up more the science. And then finally eric he said this as an addendum to the fact that god didn't do we did it. A ultra understand people are gonna die people that die whether they died in the hospital or died in a senior citizen. Long-term care unit people die. That was probably the most insensitive. All thing said. He said not understanding because remember he's impervious to human sentimentality at that level. Remember he had the emmy he had the book on leadership he was a god of all of holly weirds. He could do no wrong women with throwing themselves at him. Please date me day me..

"What i did was all ride to break out of the ghetto. The long for my way of life. And i just don't know put out boss. Street of a protest speed is our guest founder of the guardian angels talk show host and mayoral candidate in new york city for twenty twenty one curtis. You spent more time on the streets studying these groups anybody other than probably law enforcement. Where did this antifa movement come from. Had you been seeing the germ of this in years past. Oh yeah In fact we have a guardian angels group in portland oregon and a lot of people because it was off the radar screen and foot would come down into the lower part of portland weekend and they would engage in putting graffiti up on buildings. Busting out windows chasing people away chasing away perceived enemies these they basically took control of the city of bore portland and the elected officials just in fear and fry. They like cheap cameras so that went all of a sudden The floyd was killed in the streets in south. Minneapolis at the start of summer antique starting to flex but what people have to understand about an peoper is that they have a guidebook. They have a training manual. They have recruited most sleet young men and women white some from privileged backgrounds upper-middle-class who've had good education and they have decided to go to war against america to go to war. And everything that we hold sacrosanct and they believe in peace so as much as they hate donald trump and the republicans which they equally loathing. They despise him. Hey they hate. Joe biden to. I mean they may have given him some tactical air support but if it was up to them they would crumble every aspect of our government as we know it. And they're intent on trying to do that you've seen. They've had luck in portland. They've been relentless seattle They've started the flex in other cities like my own new york and chicago and they're coming to cities near you and they are the sons and daughters of oftentimes. What you call white people of privilege. Who live in the surrounding suburbs. Who have had a good education. Maybe these kids are going through a rebellious stage. Well maybe they just need to be taken off their blind trust so they gotta go out and get a nine to five job and understand how real average everyday people survive in america. Who is there puppeteer. Who's moving who's pulling the strings here. You see that's the beauty of their organization is they don't have a structure. They don't have a command structure. It's just what anorak years now are getting funded. There's no doubt about that. They move people around on the map of the united states. Like would move pawns around on the chest. Sport and that money comes from a lot of different sources. I can't specifically say which people but there are people who are to the far far left who support their efforts because it helps to promote their agenda some have said george soros and his minions others that said people who typically support black lives matter. You know. I don't want to engage in maligning people and saying they're supportive of him. They certainly have a lot of money. They certainly have sources of income to keep their organization afloat but notice. There is no spoke. I employing people there is no person man or woman. They makes appearances and speak on their behalf. They exist below the radar screen. But i will tell you this at the director race at all. It's just an ideology that's blow fetish. I've seen them out in the streets. I've seen how they organized. I seen how they attack directly at the police and how the police always being told by their leadership. And whoever the mayor's job of those municipalities surrender and retreat and they feed off of that they feed off of that. How much damage is the lockdown doing businesses in new york red thirty percent of businesses going under the story in staten island. Where the where the the pub is actually pushing back and all the folks showing up where is new york and all of that. New york city has suffered the worst hit. And it's not because of coronavirus alone really because of the inaction and and that is what. I call the italian stallion who see him on. Tv all the time whether you're in houston or anywhere. They cut she because they're like lens life. They're on every day. So these comrade blasio. He's part time may he's a dope and a guy who loves the smoke is now while we and hindu kush at night and then this guy that he just got an emmy. He wrote a book. he he may get a nobel prize who even allies cuomo. Yo it's kofi. We're cuomo every day. And all they do. Is they keep pumping out. Fear and fright all they wanna do is lockdown destroy mom and pop businesses says mid-size businesses. The big story today is that you have a group. Bad is part of this entire fortune. Five hundred network in wall street is the economic engine. Not only for new york city new york state united states for the world. But i call them go mine. Sex go mind. Sacks is being lord to the streets of miami and the beaches are miami beach. They're planning to move out of here like a lot of other big businesses and the small businesses have been crushed. People don't have work and they're being told well. Guess what the second wave is coming. Just clean yourselves to the radiator and hope for the best and there is no aspect of hoop. There's no cheerleader out. There is nobody rallying people who left three hundred thousand already and that number increases each day And says to them. Hey i realized things that kinda tough now. But i hope one day you consider coming back because the taxpayers and then who actually goes out there with those into the subways goes down. The bus goes to restaurants ghostbusters bars. To establishments is and hear them on may not governor. They too busy doing their press conference each day that they think the whole world is waiting to see their words of wisdom trip from the olympics. Two minutes left. I heard you tell the story. Live at dinner after the talkers convention about three or four years ago. But could you share with our audience. You're one of the few people to survive a hit by john gotti. Can you tell that story. Oh yeah For years. I grew up with cottie again. Pinos and i mad dog And i wanna created them and they swore they would get me. I was on the radio at the time was in nineteen ninety-two pre juliani. This was fear. City organized crime controlled. It and john gotti. Was that a happy to be in charge. So every day i'd be on the radio i'd be railing against god. He's and again pinos so he ordered his under boss. At that time. John gotti junior to straighten me out to break my legs and arms. They tried it. They broke my elbow. I came back on the air. The very next day i told the story of john gotti junior who had committed a murder in a nightclub us before and all hell broke loose. John gotti senior who is on trial for the last time before they sent him away. Triple life without parole. Close up his son and he goes welcome. I don't wanna hear this guy on the radio again. I jump into a cab one wanting to go to wabc and the driver is again. Beano guy. there's a gunman upfront. He shoots me five times. With how point bullets and i was lucky. Enough to dive out. The moving can become a speed bump. I took a licking came back kick in twelve years later. I'm on trial right. It's john gotti junior who is charged with the attempted kidnapping and killing a courtesy. You know how he pled. He said that might've happened. I might have been the head of again being organized. Crime family put guess what statute of limitation sleeper. You're alive you're going to be testifying and the jury was deadlocked four times four times and they throw that knuckle draggers still running the streets. So that a group like the guardian angels which volunteers we have no special powers privileges. We don't carry weapons. We've been asked to go into some of these areas and i gotta tell you our tactics This is not just see something. Say something this is not just You know Block watch crime. Watch we get physical. We taking back with taking back neighborhoods but it has to be because anarchy prevails here but in cities all throughout america where we have guardian angels. Are you seeing an uptick in membership and activity as a result of this in the guardian angels. The more crime. You have the more people who come forward. And join the guardian angels man woman older middle-age teenage kids white black hispanic asian mad. They come forward because they don't wanna feel as if during capable of doing anything if they watch their elected officials as they watch. Police officials mumbling stumbled way to explaining. Why crime is skyrocketing through the roof. So they look at the guardian angels and they said wow you guys have been around you know it's like more than four decades keeping it real and so they feel immediately maybe they could become a guardian angel and maybe they can change things their neighbor. And that's exactly the spirit. That started the group in the late seventies when i was a manager. As you mentioned mickey d's and the heart of the bronx and it's the same energy that is propelled us into now thirteen countries and one hundred and thirty around the world with people. Who did it kid decide. Okay i'll go through their training to become a guardian angel. Maybe i can become a leader. And i can lead the way back from my city or my community. How much harder is it for. People to protect their own community patrol their own community when they're in a virtual lockdown. Well you see. Fear fright and his stereo has paralyzed country. And not just here. But in europe where i have a guardian angel groups and people don't go out into the street for instance an example. You go to times square new york city. You might as well be in downtown buffalo. New york I mean it goes down. It's abandoned and you begin to say to yourself. Now wait a second. i understand. You wear a mask you socially distant but do we completely just lock ourselves in. Now that it's getting colder. Cain ourselves to a radiator for a second time while we wait for a vaccine to be able to kick in. What are we go out there and we reclaim our streets because who isn't going inside guess. Guess who isn't socially distancing where it all that's right. They wear a mask under normal circumstances. Whenever there's no lockdown frog criminals they take full advantage of the fact that the stream have been abandoned and then they go through the streets and puffing out there tested saying whose streets on the streets so whether it's a local yokel thugs gang bangers or at santee for black lives matter. It doesn't matter They know that they rule the streets and unfortunately the police have been forced to retreat because the officials in most of these major urban areas in america have abandoned ship a basically cited with the criminals on that directly indirectly and rendered their police department and capable of returning peace tranquility and equality life to the streets. So guess what step aside if they're not gonna do it if they're gonna point they're going to claim all or a number of issues. It's because we corona virus. It's because people lockdown doing until the point two years. We'll continue to twitter and it will show people how it can be done safely in the time of a lockdown in which people wear masks and socially distance. curtis. I'm up against a break. You know that's like your talk show host. Can you hold me for just a moment. Oh for sure no problems. He's a mayoral candidate in the city of new york and the twenty twenty one elections. And i'll tell you john gotti's probably put a lot of hits on a lot of people but very few people have survived. Curtis lee would did. I'll ask him about that story. And what we need to do to keep our streets safe across.

"Nine k. And start making some extra income for your family today. Yeah very well said. Curtis what would you say are the top value which still in your voice as they grow up then and this way i disagree with the the mothers you know. The mothers want a top shelf education. You know ivy league school the whole nine yards. I tell my sons i said. Look follow. what your mother would like. I want you to be happy. I want you to do what you wanna do in life but just as my parents told me i'll back you up sons the whole nine yards. If you do the work you roll up your sleeves and you do the work about the things that you passionate about it. All you going to do is give me lip service and all you gotta do is talk about what you do. I'm not going to support you in your endeavors and efforts and even though i may disagree with what you doing i'm gonna let you pursue your dreams and aspirations like i had the chance to do because my mother and father were always supportive there. Even though when they realized i was on a one way trip to pollute kabila times i would look at them and they would be like But hey if you're willing to do the work kurdish we've got your back and that's what i tell my sons. I got you back. What you gotta do the work and you gotta be true to the spirit of what you're doing and you must remain idealistic too. Many kids are afraid to do anything because their parents paralyze him with few. Oh we could get sued. You could get injured. Who's gonna care about a sons. If you gotta take chances you take legitimate chances. But you must remain idealistic. No matter how bad things getting you always learn to read always learn a right because even if you get jammed up and you end up in prison who knows it could be a white collar criminal. You can educate yourself. You can communicate. You have to have the ability to communicate. Because i always want my son says the dark side. I don't assume my sons will never travel over to the dark side but there is a way out of the dark side. Whether it's you consumed by drugs or alcohol decadence debauchery or you have an instinct to commit crime. Whether in the streets of sweets you always have to give them a roadway out of there and a lot of parents. Don't want to talk about those things. Hey most fans don't want to talk about kids having sex especially boys right very uncomfortable. We'll subject so. I'm much more comfortable talking about these other things that their mothers would never in a month of sundays. Ever talk to them about. Yeah yeah awesome stuff. Curtis and i got three boys myself. And i got a girl to. She's the youngest one. So i'm kind of dreading md. I'm just about the hate. All them to my oldest is in high school now but and throwing it back to what you were talking about the top here you were talking about. New york city has taken a turn for the worst year. I had former mayor rudy. Giuliani on the show. Not too long ago. He was at one time responsible for making new york city. Great again when he turned a lot of that around. Warren wilhelm junior year has really just destroyed so much of it. You're running on this You're planning to run for mayor next year. How do you plan on straighten all this out. What are you gonna do to get especially these families. They've moved out of new york city in droves. Here how do you get the families and everybody stop moving back into new york. Curtis number one. You've got to be honest with people. You gotta tell them things they don't wanna hear. I'm gonna tell everybody. Hey we're going to have to do more with less. There's no money out there. Forget to fund the police. You're gonna have to defend everywhere. I live through this in the seventies. That's what happened to the city. They had a lay of cops and firefighters teaching social workers. We had learned to do more with less people. Don't wanna hear debt. And then more importantly i'm gonna look at the parents and say we're spending what billions of dollars in public schools because some of you want to send you a dysfunctional kids to school. So that the teachers have to do what you should have prepared your children for like wiping your but washing your hands brushing their teeth. He's things he's kitchen. It come prepared off. We have to spend billions of dollars on this and then always complaining that teaches that teaches. It's not the teachers. It's the households that coming from. And so i'm gonna put the pressure on the parents whether it's a single parent household or it's two parent sharing custody or two two parent home. Nah no no. You're not blaming the schools anymore. You're not blaming the teachers. You gotta look at yourself now. How effective will that p and getting votes not very effective initially. But i think a lot of other parents say he's absolutely right. That's why our kids can learn in school because you have a few jerky boys and girls who want to turn this into saturday night live. We want to run the classroom instead of the teacher running the classroom. So i'm going to basically deal with a lot of good old-fashioned common sense. Some of it they've otis might by others. You may not. We got to save our city. And i gotta convince those. That have fled. Hey you may want to consider coming back but if you don't come back god blessed we wish you the best. 'cause you contribute to new york you made us what we were. We gotta get back to that point. Improve don't move is basically what i'm going to constantly be talking to people about. Yeah right on carson. I couldn't agree with you more. I don't think we need less cops. We need more parents. you know. it's not a policing issue. This is a parenting issue for sure and then real quick. You're on the guy. I really have much respect for what you do with the guardian angels. Think it's amazing. A plus for the community. Where are you taking. What are the plans for the future. For the guardian angels curtis and where can people find if they want to become involved. Well you gotta do is go online. Www dot guardian. Angels dot org. You can see what we do here and all over the world and it's not just the subway patrols on the street patrols we care for the elderly. The emotionally disturbed the homeless. We have a guardian angel annual protection. Division goes out there and spades and nudists stray dogs and cats. We one cat colonies because we have a system where when they get shouted within seventy two hours to get slaughtered and that will stop with courteously wedge may and more importantly. We're going to teach people how to help themselves. This is all about self. Help the guardian angels. And that's really what the city needs and we're going to start them at the age of five and six because no reason at five and six why they can learn about civics and what it is their responsibility to contribute to the basic goodwill in maintenance of the city. They can't be into that. I m e we gotta condition them early on its us. We're all doing this for one. Another we gotta help one another wherever we can. And you're going to derive a lotta of a lot of good feeling from that by helping others. Not just making doe ray me. Wow great stuff cursing the last thing. I'm gonna hit you with here. I love to ask all the data. Get on the podcast. What type of advice do you have. So that new dad or for that about to be father. Who's out there. Listening is probably the most important thing you've done in your life whether by accident or design and think of all the people who spend zillions of dollars to try to become fathers and they never can't. You're going to have to work at this twenty four seven three six five. You brought that kid into the world you can't just dump it off. This is not human. Follow up your kid just can't become another human speed bump of the many human speed bumps that we've seen children turned into this is your.

"Curtis Sliwa and the game is our new name just until I get this thing off my wrist our three of Curtis in Juliet it's two oh six and we're gonna talk about money a truck she has a couple things going on right now some drama over in London she has some some haters who I'm gonna call out and she has a book that has been written about her it hasn't come out yet but there are some interesting revelations of the book is by a person who has been following and reporting on her for many many years very closely lots of really juicy stuff that actually for the most part makes you look pretty good I had in fact has sold to do with whatever she chooses to wear that day that often times since she's not a woman of a lot of words even though she's speech multiple languages you know yeah it's not like Michelle Obama was but she'll make this statement based on what she chooses out of whole wardrobe rack that day well she knows she's a smart cookie she knows the people are looking at her and everybody is going to do this anyway everybody's gonna look at what she wears and say what does it mean because she doesn't say anything else so it's like well that's all you can do is kind of analyze what she's wearing so she has used this as a way to convey messages strategy that we do when Hillary and bill were having arguments just by their body language not holding hands let's see now with with I mean pretty much with every presidential couple but we've definitely seen help with the hot hand tunnel front load her knocking it handle rationing thing is if she's wearing garb that is sort of close in a men's wear than it is typical feminine where it means she's had a falling out with the president could be over something very small but it up for that day yeah because he doesn't like that apparently he wants like sexy feminine tight that's right very effeminate a tire not anything that could be conceived this male oriented and then obviously the president is jobs being over in Europe well what I'll call the squad achei a European style necole Trudeau your favorite princess and if you get a well there's also the I know the younger leader there and apparently they have like the example of the squad in terms of the age difference so since they're comfortable in speaking French and English I have a feeling that the other day when they were caught laughing at the president that they were actually referring to image boomer yet boomer said this so boom we did that we're gonna get into all that momentarily but there are some updates we're gonna get the cut the president just responded to the questions of the press about how is it that according to the White House phone logs that your personal attorney Rudy Giuliani was speaking directly to the budget office which is still run by Mulvaney his right sec yeah and the president said I don't know why Rudy would be calling the budget office so again any more distances as we saw from that thanksgiving day interview that all right we had with him when he said it I never sent Rudy to the Ukraine and where is Rudy as we speak he is in Kiev Ukraine Kiev as us some people like to call it yeah and then one of the professors of the three that the Democrats have chosen to speak before Nadler's committee about the whole process of impeachment Jonathan Turley was the Republican a guy named professor Gephardt has claimed that trumps conduct is worse than any of the previous president in our history and I'm scratching my head and saying a guy we lived through Watergate makes it was two years of an investigation come on come on it up but but let's talk about to double and the president and the back and forth we're remember initially the president was lecturing my chrome and he was actually the adult in the conversation because my crown was acting very Jewish he was like the juvenile I didn't think so well I thought so I didn't think I was trying to charge of everything said trump originally did in speaking about NATO he was saying that he feels Makran was saying that he feels that the political leadership of NATO is brain dead and he was basically attacking the president and saying this is because the most important country in the world and I have to say he was giving them the the president that is is not leading and and I'm sorry but it does prove that the president the president three years have been saying yeah to many it wasn't a cold about each of put up or shut up and now all of a sudden my Clinton here we're going to contribute more we're going to get more involved in NATO sort of like because that's what the president was saying when they won't come clean about NATO if you're not participating it in it to the best of your ability in France does obviously have the win the president will do better these leaders they said he can call them out the problem is for three years he has been calling the he's been calling the NATO alliance a bunch of jokers right aligning himself with I know but what one medic clone who condemned him for the way he was referring to NATO certainly do the same thing you understand it's somewhat hypocritical it's sort of like I thought you were the I tell you that with the adult in the conversation that's the way I think it's the way that McCrone called out NATO and the way trump called out NATO well I love the way the president called him out on ISIS prisoners that he won't accept back who are French citizens today out so those ice is president David cone he doesn't want to take him on the ground look to them and said I'm let's be serious let's see we need to be here is because he's got a taken back Boris Johnson doesn't want to take care of his back to the U. K. none of the European leaders want to take back their rights as Curtis you're you're kind of taking like your parsing it because at the time the conversation was the president once again said something that was not accurate that most of the ISIS prisoners are from Europe no they are not eight thousand of them are from middle eastern countries that much not two thousand are from your life but that's a lot and none of the European countries want to take him back but don't but the president makes it sound like if they're all coming from Europe and that's just not saying that you're not sure if it's a French citizen and he went off to fight for ISIS in Syria or ever or Iraq it is mac clones duty now to take them back to take about a week and Boris Johnson world in the U. K. and Merkel won't in Germany none of the European leaders want their ISIS fighters and it's really the responsibility because they will home grown in there right and they're expecting their expecting whatever country they're being held in to take responsibility for it and that should not be the case I agree with you but it's again it's you got a look at the way the argument the way the conversation is going I totally saw it gets down to it well I I with him I honestly in principle I do side with him it's just the way he handled things much what always comes under the same argument was well yeah listeners one eight hundred eight four ray W. A. B. C. that's one eight hundred eight four eight nine two two two but the other part of the tag team was true go he had to sit down with him and then all of a sudden judo was making fun of the president so the president got back at him well it's too fast Germany and honestly with the nice guy I find to be a very nice guy but you know the truth is that if you stop I called him out of the fact is not paying two percent and I guess he's not very happy about it so called in the streets do a fight well what okay then in two seconds later.

No, I've shed a bunch of f words, but you know, I don't wanna hear it. I don't wanna hear it over and over and over and over. So you had me going Juliet Huddy you had me at the head bangers ball heavy metal extravaganza. I can't believe that you are going to turn your back on hate breed. Just because they say the F word Assam is ridiculous. The name of the group again hate breed. Hey. Hatred. Yes. And in fact, one of the drummer eight burn is from poughkeepsie. He's up. So to make up for your lack of social media prowess, shall we say and happy to do my part and do a little extra. And what about for all those twit hedge out love to tweet their life away. Oh, well, join me. You could follow me on at Juliet Huddy TV I should probably change that because I'm not doing TV anymore. I was gonna suggest that a pain in the neck. I was waiting for you to actually come to that conclusion. Juliet Huddy star of FOX and friends in the morning in which then Trump used to just like he went Gaga Google over it the program plus your shelf. And then where I I met you years ago on good day early. Call New York we were together for four four years in the morning TV was part of my world. It's it's not. I mean, it's still part of my life in a way. But it's secondary to one hundred percent. But I mean, you know, did change your profile your handle. It's just. Well, don't act like you're so on top of things, Chris you don't even know how to send an Email. So just not me. When it comes to chain. I'll try it. But you could follow me at Juliet Huddy TV. Jay diet, and I would say the hawk not talking today. Circling up there he's enjoying it the hawk chino when he's talking again. Well, there's some people are feeling like hawk is talking because they had to wait outside extra long for their eligible, which never showed up because there are so many canceled today while into the city, you had personal experience that you captured on video she can explain to people how they can see it for themselves. Yes. And what you experienced on your ride into work this morning on the L I R. Well, as you know, the L A R has been going through troubles today. Because there was an accident last night around seven thirty in the Westbury area, some car trying to get more information on this. I don't know if the details of come out yet. And I can't confirm that I was speaking with a friend of mine who works over there. And he was on the scene last night. He told me that they the three people that were in the car was very a very gory scene that. There are reports that they were trying to flee something perhaps an accident. So so. But anyway, I was on the train today heading in and I was rolling video which I kind of felt guilty about doing. But by the same token, I work in news and radio. Y you for years. Yes. So I did hold on camera and off Cam. Yes. Of course, you can see this video at the Curtis and Juliette Facebook page, go to Facebook Curtis and Juliette. And you see there's about forty minutes, forty seconds of video, and you will see I was shocked the damage to the front car of the double our train. I mean, it's it is something else. Plus when we were going pass all of a sudden the train that had derailed was writing. I mean, we were maybe an inch away from this thing, and you can see that on the video that I posted on the Facebook Curtis and Juliette page, but when you see the front and make sure you watch the whole video because once you got around the front, I kind of twist around. So I can get a better shot, and you could see just the extent of the damage. I mean, wow, anybody in that first car, I would imagine would have had a real serious jolt, and we had somebody who works here who was on that train as a matter of fact, neck, and he said that he he definitely heard the crash on and they had to be evacuated from the train over ladders have to get out through ladders to Nassau County executive churn had.

"Show host Curtis. Sliwa is here. Live. W ABC. Six minutes after the hour two. Ominous in the house. Well, it's going to be a little ominous. We learned quite a bit about you. About what goes on, Madonna and your rebel? Well, we also learned a bit about you as well. Mr sleep. Everyone knew that I would teach to watch that was crazy. I've never heard that pitched means you a little bit off center. The English word. I think it's more than anything. Definitely talian dialect meaning. Yeah. You miss shook. Michelle, that's the name of a metal band. Right. Oh, I didn't know that live and learn look at that. But now we're going to delve into a subject as well. High atop Madison Square Garden in the great facilities provided to us in order to do this wad cash. All of you by nj diet dot com. Comedy. And how often you've been a comedy clubs? I've been at comedy clubs. You've watched videos of common comedians men and women performing and nowadays everything get scrutinized in a way that I would say ten years ago. It wasn't row. Yeah. Almost anything went ten years. But let's use the latest performance of Louis CK because in a lot of people's minds this guy who sat in front of fellow women comedians show writers and decided to masturbate in front of him. Any acknowledged that always ask. That just say, I mean, not that it matters. But you know, he he always asked if he could do it. Not sure I can't remember if that's part of the story line. But anyway, yeah. But that'd be that was another form of being weird. Right. It's so like I'll ask first before I open up my trap door. Yeah. I would actually prefer to talk to myself and let the little dragon onto myself in front of you. Right. But this is what has marred hints his his meteoric rise in the comedy world movie. She was the ultimate white comedian. I would say. Known for political incorrectness. So he's decided to not just bury shelf in disappeared. He's been a comedy clubs popping in. And he did a whole tour out in Long Island recently. And you know, they say you're not supposed to be taping any of the events. But in fact, a lot of people do that just like in the old days you weren't supposed to try to video a concert. It would turn into a white album yet. But if you know that Louis CK who has been sort of MIA for awhile is gonna he he just showed up, you know, that you're turning your phone the audio on and you're going to try to get whatever he's going to say so in his like, our performance stand up in which I mean, he was talking about a multitude of subjects gay trans transpeople Asian men others. He really seemed to hit the nerve of a lot of people because he was poking fun and jabs at the park land shooting survivors. Let's give you a little flavor of his stand up in. That regard interesting.
