I'm your host Mr Fourth row and on the a phone call right now I have two representatives of one of the newest promotions here in the Colorado area and that's a redemption championship wrestling and I have <hes> Jason and James <hes> I'm sorry what was your last name again trouble ribble ribble okay all right and <hes> they're going to talk to us about the Russian. Everything's so gentlemen how you guys doing good. We're good all right all right so <hes> I I won't maybe necessarily direct the questions to anyone in particular as we're introducing the promotion but <hes> tell us about <hes> R._C.. W how did it get started James Well. I actually started professional wrestling back in nineteen eighty nine. I've been doing it a little over thirty years. The day Jason is my youngest cousin and he just flipped out when he saw me do this stuff and skip forward to a few years later <hes> last summer my we we've done a few shows for some other promotions. I mean both Jason and my brother and my brother and I and Jason got together and we decided to kick off a promotion of our own to kind of be his Colorado Springs had it but nobody really came down to the southeast plane so we decided needed to focus on that area and see what we can do. Oh very cool and tell the listeners of where our C._W.. Is based out of just in case if they're not familiar exactly with the Colorado geography. Actually we're based the three Areas Canyon City Colorado Fowler Colorado in Las Animas Colorado. Okay all three of us live <hes> Jason Lives in Kenya. I live in Fowler my brother Martin lives in Los Angeles must in that way we can kind of incompetence and we have a representative all up and down the Arkansas Valley here. Oh very very cool all right so so just to fill in the listeners of that area is in they're talking about the the southern part of Colorado. The southern plains like they were saying so <hes> yeah so <hes> yeah and I'm I'm familiar with the area personally because my <hes> Dad and his <hes> my uncles and sister they grew up in Texas creek which is fairly close to Canyon city so yeah yeah exactly so very cool all right <hes> so <hes> <hes> so you guys decided that you wanted to start to promotion just because <hes> you know just to get a little bit of extra you know <hes> shows. They're going you know from the Colorado Springs area to get a lot of <hes> people travel from the springs and even further to come to the shows well. We've had people from all over the state of Colorado when we worked for another promotion. Come down here for these shows. Okay <hes> this will actually be are April twenty-seventh will actually be our first show as redemption championship wrestling so we're hoping to get people from all over the state come in and give us a hand with <hes> making some money for the Special Education Department there in Kenya cities. It's okay so this is a benefit shows well. Yes Oh very cool. <hes> what made you choose that <hes> charity for for this well first off the schoolteachers always need help. They always spend their money <hes> just a great opportunity to help out any school first off and second off the Special Education Department is just is. How can I put this? It's really good to help out people people that are in need and that can not do it all themselves so the Special Education Department I was actually approached by one of the school employees and that's when I signed to talk to James and Martin about dumb afford with it. Oh very cool okay all right. I was yeah and I totally agree. I we always hear the stories about teachers are not paid enough and they have to spend their own money for supplies and excetera so and I would assume special education even gets a <hes> further <hes> whatever you WANNA call it <hes> I don't WanNa call it neglect but doesn't get as much attention as even this the regular <hes> program exactly and this just once a week and help out very cool awry and is this going to be <hes> mainly geared to the special education <hes> in that area the Canyon City we <hes> Los Angeles area well. This particular GonNa geared more for Canyon City right there okay. We we have an fifteenth we have another show setup and we're actually going to be donating to the after school program up there for their <hes> community center. Oh cool so <hes> so is this going to be a ongoing thing. The shows are always going to have a a benefit charity as much as we can. <hes> we went onto a few sold shows and stuff like that to help us keep the business alive and keep it going but any to give back to communities in need. We're GONNA we're. We're going to take a look at that and see if we can't make that a at least a top priority whether they're actually a sponsored charity or whether we just make a donation that night after the show we just donate it to school. What school was that James Donate to my to the dance class school or something? What was the Eric? I can't remember the name of it right so yeah yeah it was. It's one of the things where redemption championship wrestling if we can help out in any way we're we're going to do it. We're always out there trying to put ourselves out there and not even if it involves a wrestling show but volunteering and doing things like that Oh cool okay cool. We'll volunteering is kind of one of my things in my heart to I do a lot for the American Diabetes Association and things like that so yeah cool very cool. I'm I'm proud of that cool all right <hes> so <hes> you had mentioned James You mentioned that <hes> you guys had done other <hes> worked for of doing other promotions as well and I'm assuming that those promotions are pretty much <hes> gone by the wayside. A lot of them have been gone out of business. I mean I I started this business back. In one thousand nine hundred eighty nine was trained by <hes> an organization out of Lamar Colorado called superstars professional wrestling and then I've done some work for choice state professional wrestling's thanks. I've been all over the United States doing this. I actively retired in two thousand until they they Kinda Doug me out of mothballs to come out and do a charity show there once. What's the wrestling alling buck bitney again? It's kind of hard to stop right yeah cool so let's see here. I was going to ask you guys so <hes> speaking of that <hes> what kind of <hes> do you guys have a lot of local talented. You get a lot of talent from <hes> other places in Colorado and what about the United States in the world what what kind of talent comes in and Russell's for our C._W. So. So we have we have talent from. We have local talent Air Colorado but we also have guys from Texas a really good guys names Chad Thomas. He's GonNa Russell actually outlaw James Girl there we also. I'll have guys coming from Oklahoma. We'll we'll take we want everybody to strive to the best their ability and if we're able to get a man what will get them in where we can get him in whether it's from Colorado Oklahoma Oga Texas this New Mexico. We're trying to focus on the guys here. Colorado 'cause plenty of great talent appear. Just the shows are starting to get bigger as we go but discard right here we got Colorado Oklahoma and we got on Texas cool all right so what so what <hes> what names do we got coming in for the for the show on the twenty seventh well <hes> we have ah from Oklahoma. We actually have a tag team called the new improve express New York's press my bad apologize. They're facing Mar Justice and Tyler Watch tag team match for the A C W tag titles which that's where to see how that goes because I'm very interested in seeing how those two teams go as far as I know they're both father and son father and son. Oh yeah so that should be interesting in itself. We have Dr Kobe Black. He's he's from Oklahoma. There's jomon named Prince Mohali. I'm not exactly sure exactly where he's from so loans out of my hands I have no clue we just recently had a gentleman that was on your <hes> Cherry Tara a wish him and his family the best asa look so and then like <hes>. We got guide from Pueblo what's <hes> K._T.. From cars brings Jay Scylla from PLO myself and canyon <hes> beanie from LAS animas gentleman Myers extreme these from Las Animas as well <hes> some matches we have we have a tables match what I'm involved in myself which has to be interesting caressing and never been in that he was masters should be very interesting for that match and then I've got some with Chad Thomas to to take care of this time around when I wrestled each other land in Rocky Ford Colorado and that kind of turn into a slobber knocker he broke my ribs and several other things so when you come out to the show here in Canyon City don't expect a wrestling match between us to that's going to be more of a fight. Oh very cool very cool. Also yes right yeah I saw <hes>. I've seen some of these names that you mentioned in <hes> <hes> C._S.. W of course as well and I've I think I've seen you Jason. They're promoting the shows as well so that's that's. That's very cool <hes> so it is it <hes> so how's that been <hes> in doing. You guys getting really good partnership there with <hes> C._S.. W and <HES> <HES> do you partner with Iron Hills championship wrestling as well. Oh yes W an iron hills. They kinda rolled out the red carpet for us. When we told we were going to <hes> started his own promotion they have done nothing but bend over backwards to help us and we we really appreciate everything that they've done for us? <hes> big guns Justin Andrew several others that they have just been more than willing to you know help us get acquainted with Colorado talent and just basically helped us nonstop. Get this thing up off the ground you know and <hes> we're trying our best to to Kinda. Give back to those guys and help them out as much as we can to. <hes> we're not gonNA just be a wrestling promotion. We're kind of a one stop shop. We build ring equipment and everything else so so. We've been helping them get some of their stuff but together. It's it's been a very cooperating <hes> experiences time around so yeah our hats off to see us w iron hills and all the Colorado promotions. Oh that's where I'll see us. Go is also where we found Bruce Rogers which is going to be here in Kansas City as well. Oh all right. He's here too. He's going to be in our CIMMAMON advant actually now. I don't know if you've seen any of the pictures on facebook or <hes> the posters but he's in our cinema. One of my main event for the heritage championship of the B._B._C. WS <hes> which is a triple threat match and a demo Dr Cool Black Kassim unfinished business as well not quite like outlaws and Chad Thomas's now what they still have little unfinished business to take care out so that should be interesting to in Bruce Rogers such a giant black. They're such good God is as well not just not just a great wrestler's. They're just so cooperative there so will in easy work with so if anybody ever picks him up. I recommend these guys definitely yeah. I've had I've had bruce on the show and of course I know him very well because he's a little a little bit closer to me because I'm in <hes> of course I'm Denver <hes> so and I know <hes> Bruce Lives just outside of Denver in the mountains but <hes> yeah so. That's that's cool. I'm glad to see him there because he's a very good talent and I'm glad to see him getting a lot of exposure in other promotions as because he's he's got a lot. He does a lot he he almost does he almost as much as a big guns. Does you know Mr Colorado wrestling but not quite as much almost special things out to him to especially Theo big guns as the one that the he reached out I and M._C._s. w like I said I like a James said Iron Hills. They've all been they've all been great. We haven't kind of reached out too much to the other promotions like new error and what's the other one <hes> we got primoz. There's rocky mountain pro. There's quite a few in Denver I mean smoking when she agree. Oh yes agree agree and point seen here in Colorado right now is just on on fire and there is much good talent right here in Colorado but we see companies and people coming in from all over the United States just to come here to wrestle right. Yeah I mean especially like you guys mentioned <hes> Oklahoma Homa and Texas. I think Texas is probably one of the the biggest ones that a lot of the local talent comes up from there so yeah. This is very cool so in love you down down in Oklahoma they they've been a tremendous help to US steel. Any Panther runs that organization down there and anything we need questions we need answered or just getting this in contact with talent they they've just been excellent to serve cool all right so you you guys are mentioned a lot of <hes> <hes> championship titles are going to be defended on those and all those are from our all of those from the out of state promotions that are just coming to defend their as well to kind of help you guys. Let's get going so they go ahead this all right thanks to our from other other promotions one of them. The first tag team match is from a C._W.. Which is home as well doc? Heritage title is from W it's actually just introduced through BBC w defendant at our show fury of war here in Kansas City but we have the main event is our C._W.. Championship tag team titles in attaching hormonal match okay cool cool so you guys are you guys are going to be ramping up and having your own titles as well yes gene since we go ahead James Right now. We have our tag team titles that we will be defending are actually instating here at the Kenyan city show and then in June fifteenth. We're actually going to introduce the redemption championship wrestling ultimate title Ooh Cool. I liked the name. Thank you very yeah. This is a title one of the things that we talked about. When we I started our promotion is we didn't want like heavyweight titles and things like that we anybody to contend for it? So this is actually the ultimate title there is no way class anybody that steps through the ropes that that has proven themselves ourselves worthy enough to go for the title for the title. There's no way classes and <hes> the are tag team turmoil we have <hes> I believe six tag teams entering mismatch but the two people that get the last pin fall are the tag team champions. Indian so if might not be your tag team partner. That's there at the end ooh twist. That's very cool. It could be two people from two different tag teams miracle and then they become our tag team team champions very cool awesome all right so let me ask you a little bit more information on the ultimate championship <hes> would that also include doesn't <hes> gender doesn't play a factor as well at this point in time. I'm anybody male now. <hes> anybody can compete for the ultimate title go anybody very very cool all right so <hes> what other shows those guys having come up you got the one on April one in June in in May or anything else booked out there weird deeply. Sorry you're definitely taking may off. We'll definitely take it off. We got a lot of stuff going on May revamping things whereas process of making another ring <hes> so we're definitely taking me off. <hes> <hes> allied anything on that one well in June. We're we're doing the show there in Las Animas we we have shows in the works for Rocky Afford Colorado and we're looking at July for that. We're trying to get the contracts and everything settled there. Were also looking at Lamar. Possibly Fowler Ordway Mahanta <hes> we may were wearing talk split some with an organization there at the College at O._J.. See Mahanta that they're interested in bringing us in for a benefit to kind of help the college out down there for some of their programs so we're we're trying to get up and running and going just as fast as we can. It seems like April got here way too fast day. What makes it easier with sponsors? Sponsors are just some of these people around here are some of the sponsors they're just amazing mazing group of people that work with Yeah we've had around unbelievable help with the show with some of our sponsors like tire king and <hes> these Manning's Pizza Minister in Canyon City <hes> several of them have come forward just to help out and get us up and going yeah yeah awesome awesome very very cool all right well okay well. I think that's pretty much all the questions I have for you guys now but before I let you go <hes> wanted to tell the listeners if they wanted to <hes> catch up with you <hes> follow you up on with social media where they can get tickets all that kind of good stuff where it work they do all that they can get. What does that facebook or C._W.? Ultimate champion just go unstated thing diagnostic. Look it up. We give championship wrestling <hes> as far as ticket places where we're getting tickets is probably GONNA be there at the door for the whole at our C._W.. Ultimate champion and facebook smokers on there and we can get back to them with that. It's able twenty seven doors open a six show search seven okay and where's it at exactly it is in case in the Middle School the address twelve fifteen fifteen main street in case Colorado. Okay that should be pretty easy <hes> Kenyan city middle school okay cool awesome okay cool all right well gentlemen. I really appreciate you coming on to the podcast and let Malda listeners get to know <hes> about <hes> our C._W.. Thank you thank you for having us all right. Thanks once again a big thank you to Jason and James James the outlaw dribble for coming onto the podcast and letting us all the know about like I said one of the newest promotions here in the Colorado Area Redemption Championship wrestling and they wanted to also let you you guys know we talked about this off of the official interview but <hes> they have <hes> Gabby Gonzales it will be <hes> singing the national anthem at their show on this Saturday the twenty seven th of April so check them out <hes> like I said if you want to get tickets for them <hes> best just to <hes> come up to the show and get the tickets at the door so <hes> they're not quite set up <hes>. <hes> yet therefore online sales but <hes> hopefully they'll get that in the future like I said one of the fledgling <hes> promotions here in the Colorado area so sometimes it takes a little time to get that all ramped up but anyways <hes> let's go ahead like we already did though we review on the previous episode of the podcast but let's go ahead and just to once again talk about the <hes> upcoming events this weekend and that is on Thursday Rocky Mountain Pro- <hes> supercharged four <hes> finals of the ignition <hes> championship and then also all the other great matches the championship match <hes> with <hes> <hes> Marlin bishop verse says Nyah the three way dance <hes> for with Chandler Hopkins Curtis Cole and Tiba as well as so much other matches <hes> as well. It's going to be great. I'm I'm GONNA be there. Hope to see some of you. Are there and you know if you guys do see me on the show. If you want to just say Hi Gimme high five or whatever that's cool with me I know sometimes everybody's a little busy and got a lot of other things <hes> on their mind and one of my <hes> <hes> things don't want to turn to start taking more pictures with people <hes> fellow fans of fellow wrestlers and things of that nature but sometimes it's just difficult I understand all of that and then continuing with the Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> experience no pun intended that is ebbing on Friday the twenty six this cup coming Friday at the Rack House pub and <hes> the experiences starts at five P._M.. I believe rustling starts at nine should be always a great time to get wreck health's rowdy and then let's go and continue with the rocky mountain pro. They're going to have their Romero's canine. Clubs show on Saturday at nine PM doors at eight eight and in Lafayette so if you want to get tickets to any of these events of course you can get him at the door. They are little more expensive if you get them day of so purchase in advance at our M._p.. Wrestling Dot Com and then <hes> like I said just recap at six P._M.. And the Redemption Championship wrestling there in Canyon City Colorado at the Canyon City Middle School and Iron Hills championship wrestling is having their international warfare event at <hes> a._p._M.. At the Union station peak thirty one in Colorado Springs Colorado so a very very full weekend in her in Colorado tickets for Iron Hills can be found at <hes> <hes> I H C you know <hes> <hes> iron hills championships dance for wrestling dot com so I h C rustling dot com you can get tickets there as well so <hes> like go ahead and once again thank the trending topics network for hosting the show and if you like what you hear on wrestling without the to please subscribe or stay subscribed and you can catch other great shows such as wrestling cheers the Spanish announce table Eurovision showcase all beer inside and so much more. I am your hosts Mr fourth row and on on this podcast this episode I have one of the local wrestling talents here in Colorado area and that is captain Stevens Yoho Captain Stevens how you doing up doing good today Mr fourth or through how `bout yourself I am hanging in there so I really appreciate you coming onto the show. <hes> let's start off with the first question. So how did you get interested in professional wrestling. Did you watch it as a child. Oh My my dad had me watching wrestling pretty much at least for my mom says is when I was an infant you know like four to six months old and stuff like that and even my uncle has this little story. He likes to tell of how we knew. I was going to be a wrestler is <hes> there was one day we just finished watching wrestling and I was like three years older so and my mom was sleeping on the floor and I guess if they climbed up on the army the couch and did a macho man flying elbow right across her nose so so at a young age. Do you remember watching or do you have any memories from back then. I guess my earliest memory memory of professional wrestling <hes> is <hes> summer slam nineteen ninety-two the one that took place at Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom and I used to we had recorded it on the statement Abe and I used to watch the heck out of that tape like I used to watch especially the main event which was the Bret Hart versus the British bulldog for the intercontinental title right so the question is well d still have tape and or is it just worn out and if so do you have anything to so played on <hes> no I don't. I don't have the tape or if the player thank thank goodness for the network so I can relive that man all right yeah that's true so I was just I was just kinda curious so <hes> who will your favorites watching them you. Who did you really like to enjoy the work? Oh Man I almost do like a time line with it. I mean when I was a little a little kid. It was the ultimate warrior I mean even dressed up like in for Halloween and stuff like that did the whole face paint and the armed tassels and stuff like that and then <hes> as I got older and he wasn't there it kind of transition due to <hes> to brow heart watched. I follow 'em even when he left <hes> after Montreal all the way to W._C._W.. I follow his career up until pretty much the time he laughed and that's a back she abou- I'd stop watching wrestling for a little bit around then but I'd say those were probably the biggest no very cool so then <hes> what then got you into thinking and actually taking that step into doing this as a as a little bit of the profession so in in about two thousand eight as about twenty years older so I had <hes> I went to a R._M._c. w show it was at a red and Jerry's and they had like Butch Reed there and I watched him Russell Robertson and stuff like that and then <hes> I remember after that being invited over to a Wrestlemainia Watch party at someone's house and they were talking about training guys then and I had gotten somewhat interested back then in is I didn't even know there wasn't independent wrestling seen in Colorado at all until about that time. Oh Wow wow so then <hes> who who was it that you got involved with <hes> doing your training and and stuff might stay overnight of training actually <hes> I I went to the. I don't know if you remember it the I._W._F.. Butcher shop I've heard of it. Yes it's it's it's essentially now. The PRIMOZ butcher shot up because pretty much just GonNa took over the school right and people were you know people who trained they're essentially worked promotions and whatnot and it just kind of transition to Primoz once I W F closed doors but that that was my first night at training was with I._W._F.. And then I just continued when it went into when it transferred over to Primoz Um and so did you start training there right away and <hes> two thousand eight. Did you say no actually I did not find a school until about two thousand eleven doesn't eleven okay I ended up <hes> just looking it up online and found that school though okay awesome and so you have been doing this ever since then so about seven eight years <hes> if this challenge training saying yeah well I mean we do training because it's still part of all the process right now part of all the process. You honestly never stop learning so well. Yeah that's true. That's very true so then. When did you have like your first match crazy enough? My first match didn't come on WanNa see came in about two thousand fifteen. I I wasn't always the best about maintaining a proper coming to training schedule because I had really crazy work hours especially starting in two thousand eleven when my boss is very adamant about not giving me the days off that they trained so I you know I didn't make my debut or like my first match until about two thousand fourteen two thousand fifteen <hes> and who was your opponent <hes> crazy enough. Have you ever heard of <hes> Primoz carnival the actual show yes yeah the Halloween show yes my first match. I was stung and I wrestled cody divine who was was us <hes> staying okay Nice. That's very very cool awesome all right so then <hes> you just been kind of hitting the promotions <hes> pretty much sense. Then Kinda got steady <hes> <hes> work schedule per se you know in the in the wrestling <hes> community them. I I do at least in Denver and like 'cause I. I work with Primoz and I work with C._S.. W I mean it's definitely not to say that. I wouldn't want to work for any other promotion because I mean I have wrestled like twice for Lebron. Debray lamps but I definitely would like to do more steady with pre Muhsin C._S.. W right and did I want. Did I catch at one time. You worked for was it. Is it big sky as well big sky. That's <hes> promotion out in Wyoming Yeah. I remember their United States champion. I'm sorry you cut out there say that again. I'm actually they're United States champion you current the current United States champion a big sky <hes> Yep and how do they do shows because it seems like <hes> kind of little intermittent or they are very very intermittent opening. We haven't had our show up there. Since I WANNA see June or July oh well. Do you think that's just because <hes> well union. Would you agree with me that the wrestling seen in Colorado's really taking off right now I would. I would definitely chalk it up to that. I mean there's you know I mean it's really crazy right now. Without any promotions there that are popping up in around the state especially you know down in Colorado Springs and stuff like that and then you have Primoz in new era and rocky mountain pro when Lucci Lebron laughs up at Denver Right and then the count countless number of Lucia actual Lucia Promotions to Oh yeah so all right well <hes> you now well you kind of to <hes> currently are in a <hes>. I guess you the best way to explain it would be like a faction called the party pirate punks. How did that come about to be to be completely honest with you? I think that at a certain point we were just kinda thrown together and because we were originally just the party pirates and it was me and all he beat and then <hes> Paulie be got injured. You heard his knee in our first tag outing to be honest no so then <hes> a couple months later <hes> they paired me up with Johnny crash crash while Bali was rehabbing and <hes> we just kind of went from there as the pirate punks and then you know about seven eight months later polly came back from his knee injury and he just Kinda got lumped in with us then we became the party pirate punks ever since harlow was <hes> was was it just something that just kind of happened or were you Kinda put together by anybody like special that may be. We've mentioned on the podcast before uh-huh definitely say it. Was it someone it's definitely `specially I mean <hes> Chris Chavez. The former owner of CIS w <hes> is the one that put us together I had I had an idea. He's he's. He's he's. He's kind of genius would you. He's just kind of has magical touch. Would you agree with that you really did he really did have that. Just kind of that magical touch I mean I don't oh I can't honestly say like right off the top at what it was but there was just there was always something about you know see us w when we first got there that just kinda made wrestling down the spur in Colorado Springs Really Special Dab him there and I do know that a lot of us really miss him so oh yeah I miss them to <hes> so speaking of that <hes> I know that you and I have kinda talked about it a little bit but why don't we go ahead and reiterate vetera- on the <hes> podcast <hes> the couple special things that <hes> with when it comes to see us w for you <hes> that have kind of been book end <hes> most recently with the <hes> last <hes> Colorado Springs show so tell toner buddy about that well I mean just kristen general was always just someone that really believed a lot of me and he always spoke really highly of me and you know we had worked before he opens D._S._W.. We had worked a couple of times on the independent scene and he was really high on me then and then <hes> you know <hes> mean cormack battle were actually in the very very first match N._C._I._S. W I mean we opened the very very first show was just mean Cormac and now that will always be like a little special thing that I have with Mac you know in opening up that show right and then now most recently tell the listeners <hes> what happened <hes> for you <hes> with <hes> C._S.. W All I am <hes> one half of the C._S.. W tag eighteen champions with my cohorts Bali and Johnny crash and I also just one the Christopher Chavez senior memorial battle royal got a big big big trophy for that right show that okay and and that leads me into <hes> what you have coming up in the near future <hes> here in about <hes> just a little bit over in a week so tell the listeners what is going on there well. I actually actually have <hes> if you don't mind actually two shows coming up your back the week and a half you know definitely Primoz. This Sunday is a woman's scorn from the watering bowl. That's going to be one heck of show I mean. Have you seen the main event for that one already. Oh yeah lament filter in Anaya. That's Oh God that's going to be a match it. Nobody should miss and then a week from Friday march eighth. I'm at <hes> C._S.. W Bar fights volume three were the main event is myself versus. <hes> Joey can eight and that's in other matches to bulls right right and Joey Kincaid was the person that you had was the last person was <hes> eliminated before you won the <hes> the tournament before winning about a royal right was was worn was the last person eliminate it was a person that I eliminated there to whip that a royal yeah so he <hes> you think he's coming out coming back at you for a little bit of revenge all I wouldn't necessarily early put it fast on now. I mean he definitely didn't look happy after the elimination and I tell you he has is one tough guy right. Oh yeah well. They don't call him the human grenade for nothing. That's very true through very true yeah so let's <hes> so we got thous out but let's talk about possibly <hes> in the <hes> near are in the <hes> little bit farther in the future <hes> if you do you have any kind of like dream matches any kind of opponents at you would like to wrestle a both as a single competitor and then maybe even getting P._p.. The triple P. together and you know going up against other tag teams and this could be anybody in you know close proximity to the Colorado area or even nationwide. Maybe somebody <hes> Ion. That's you know on T._v.. Or something like that or you know and and then along with that have you had any brushes with any kind of <hes> you know people that you know National People may have heard about <hes> not necessarily like national people haven't really at any brushes. That <hes> as far as dream matches go I mean I'd really love to wrestle <hes> like as a tag team that was me and the Party and the triple p. out honestly say like three matches <hes> the pillars of destiny <hes> that would be the vikings out would be a really good match. I really look forward to that and then there's also <hes> the one percent <hes> the team the TAG team that Roy size XS in that abby attacked team. I'd love to face well all right and well you know and I didn't honest I'd also have to put the Canadian pit bulls in there as well. Oh Yeah I I would love to Russell the Canadian pit bulls and then I guess a singles competitor like my <hes> my two kind on the on the Dream List bucket list kind of thing right now are I'd love to Wrestle Lonnie Zelda's or Mike sidell okay definitely love to wrestle Mike sidell that would be fun. That would be fun yeah I could. I I can see that so you think <hes> <hes> I would. I would not going to speak for him but I think the pillars destinies would even welcome to on three handicap match to those guys those guys definitely look crazy yeah or awesome yeah well you know they have had some exposure on <hes> on impact not necessarily the main show but there <hes> web show the explosion show so there you go. That's that's there's some national brush brushing fame right there so that would be kind that'd be kind of fun well and then of course the one percent <hes> Roy six darrel Nelson so yeah they they're all over the place so yeah that would be a definitely possibility. Oh yeah all right <hes> so any other <hes> any other things that you have coming up here in the near future besides <hes> Primoz and <hes> ceus W even you know three four weeks in that you're aware of that you can announce here. I can actually over a few things. <hes> Primoz has been pretty heavily promoting a few shows coming up here within the next couple of months <hes> like I said to start you know this Sunday March third at the watering bowl and Denver Colorado <hes> there is a woman scorn and that's going to be too. It's usually starts about seven seven fifteen tickets sir ten dollars online about fifteen bucks at the door and <hes> definitely looking forward to that show and then March eighth is <hes> C._S.. W Bar fights volume three and that's at the plain field sports bar in Colorado Colorado Springs <hes> then <hes> <hes> April seventh <hes> Primoz has teamed with the watering bull and crown royal and they are doing Wrestlemainia Watch party called Crown Royal Rumble who and that is free entry and that's it our little gifts to <hes> the fans of pre most arresting and the fans of pro wrestling general. You'RE GONNA get a little bit of a little bit alive wrestling wrestling before the pre show and then be able to watch you know the pre show wrestlemainia after cool that that sounds like fun and then. I know that you know about this Arti but you know that every may so taking place this year on make this is Alpha Knight Right. It's our annual tournament. The crowns the best high flyer lunch door wrestler just here you'll pure wrestler. Lucia doors and hi fliers is just an amazing show that takes place on May fifth but also it's been extended so it's many fourth and may fifth and you're also now going to get Omega night which is an all women's tournament. Oh yeah the best female wrestler Lucia Hi Flyer Grappler yes so <hes> I guess you could say that <hes> <hes> Primoz is kind of really <hes> seeming it up in ratcheting up with all these kind of <hes> events knows yeah cool like I like that a lot yeah cool awesome all right well will. I think that's all I have for you right now but before I let you go <hes> once you tell the listeners <hes> about if you've <hes> they wanted to follow you like on <hes> social media media where they could find you like facebook. Twitter is the etc already you can find me on facebook at the dread captain Stevens <hes> you can find me on both twitter and instagram under both dread captain often S._c.. Oh cool awesome all right well once again captain Stevens I salute you. I appreciate you coming onto the podcast and let my listeners know little bit more about you. Oh my pleasure man is an honor to be here all right. Thank you already once again a big thank you to captain Stevens for coming onto the podcast this week I salute. You are really appreciate T._H._e.. For coming on so let's go ahead and before we get talk about this upcoming week. Let's do the weekend review so last Thursday was the rocky mountain pro ignition and charged episodes from the Rocky Mountain Quarry in the Jefferson County fairgrounds great shows as always got to see some new talent <hes> that traveled in and came in when <hes> we had <hes> the young gun champ Gentler Hopkins came in got to see him good. I really enjoy him. Him And Curtis Cole had a Barn Karen Berger. Excuse excuse the Pun of a match it was amazing and I really love seeing the young gun come in town. He needs to come in town more often and there was a couple other talents <music>. I not serve. I caught their names quite properly. <hes> one was the magnificent <hes> milk. Oh a belief and that was great. I loved his character is Great Craig character great great great and then on Friday the Lucci brain laughs today inter-gender tag team tournament kicked off the equal fights two day tournament <hes> was great. I went tended that and got the C. for the first time Delie Doom in person and ruby race it was there Tacori tyrod Greek came in town like I said that was great. Her and Mike Zell Yoga salt had a fantastic match and then I would say <hes> allegata an Anaya I of versus Caleb crush and Delilah doom was a fantastic match will they were all fantastic matches but <hes> those matches a were probably the highlights for me. Eh especially because <hes> just Vance Service for myself I would say that with Anaya and Allegata <hes> pulling a little bit of the left coast guerrillas <hes> tactics out and displayed them against their opponents was great and then also on Friday as well. The Rocky Mountain pro had their Rocky Mountain WPRO experience at the Rack House. Unfortunately because Lucci were last had <unk> <hes> that event that night as well it wasn't able to attend <hes> look like it went off really well of course the talent that came in for the Thursday show at Rocky mountain pro was also there as well so it's always Kinda nice to see though get introduced a couple more talents not get so comfortable with the towns to see all the time time at all these shows and then <hes> like I said Saturday was the combination of Jubran laughs tournament where Caleb Crush and Eliah doom won the tournament well undeserved everybody did well. They faced Ruby raise and I am the provider <hes> in the finals. <hes> got the see all kinds of things <hes>. You're also on Saturday night. Joy Ryan was there but they hadn't said who he was going to be facing and boom as soon as the music hit it was the fiercest feline nine in Lucia Lebron Alley Gatto so keeping it up with the theme for the equal fights Allegata faced Joey Freakin Ryan I was I was so happy to see that match. It was amazing and <hes> I there's not enough words to describe it all and then also the Iron Hills this championship wrestling promotion also came back had their showdown. They're in Colorado. Springs looks like it went off. Well surprisingly Jimbo Lucas I lost his championship and he vows to get back as soon as he can. A sound like there was a little bit of <hes> dispute on how it the happened so I'll be excited to see how that all turns out and then on Sunday I attended for the first time I went to Hugo's Lucia Lebron which also takes place at Jefferson County fairgrounds <hes> same places rocky mountain pro they dress up the arena a little bit different with the Hugo's branding and all that stuff like that of course with as being the deliberate a lot of it was in Spanish and I am not even enclose to understanding a good majority of the words I know a lot <hes> it's a different different experience and it's formatted a lot differently <hes> I did mark out that they have a mascot the comes out <hes> before the show and Kinda like at intermission <hes> at say. I kind of hiked it. I thought it was fun. Russell exposed to be about fun so I I really enjoyed that. <hes> got to see a couple of people that of course new Delta a junior and read Viper and I had a match as well <hes> Luna was there. I got we've seen her in rocky mountain pro a few times as well so it was kind of fun. <hes> got to see a lot of new faces faces <hes> they do a lot of two out of three falls. I think as well 'cause they have a <hes> a ring card girl woman. Whatever you WANNA call her a come out to tell you what round around or ring it <hes> or follow this kind of stuff like that so that was kind of fun definitely WanNa go again <hes> because it is a definite experience <hes> rowdy crowd beaten on drums and all that kind kind of stuff that you would expect from a more traditional Lucia Lube Ray <hes> promotion so that was fun so not talking about the past? Let's talk about the future we have this Thursday coming up as a time of this recording that is tomorrow and with it being the last Thursday of the month that means it is time for rocky mountain pro supercharged and it's going to be a purge event which means it is anything goes ladders chairs. <hes> still a barrels whatever you can find. I wonder if the infamous <hes> shovel that may have a little residue. If you know what I mean <hes> will make an appearance as well. If you WANNA get tickets <hes> it's not too late but you can always get tickets are are M._p.. WRESTLING DOT COM or you can get them at the door door course the prices do in crease and then I do not believe as far as I'm checking my notes that we do have don't have anything on Friday or Saturday but we do have on Saturday like captain Stevens was mentioning we do have Primoz <hes> pro wrestling <hes> having their woman scorn learn <hes> events where we've got <hes> daisy and I am the product Shade Tarantula and Tire Russ Amee <hes> <hes> they're featured heavily in this event <hes> and like he were like captain Stevens was saying got a niane filter to the biggest toughest guys he's here in the wrestling with altitude area going at it. You can get tickets ten dollars online fifteen dollars at the door showtime seven P._M.. Doors Open even at six thirty so you WANNA get tickets go to Primoz pro wrestling dot com. It's as simple as that so that is it that I have for right now but before I want go I want to extend a big. Wrestling With Altitude! - Episode 17 - Redemption Championship Wrestling

"Just because it's called higher education doesn't mean high tuition costs have to be the norm at strayer university. We have the radical opinion that education should be affordable with our graduation fund. You can earn up to twenty five percent off your bachelor's degree the tuition making it all the more possible to succeed in today's world welcome to the future of Education strayer university out with the Old School Square University certified to operate by chef four all right welcome to the wrestling with altitude podcast. I am your host Mr Fourth row and on the a phone call right now I have two representatives of one of the newest promotions here in the Colorado area and that's a redemption championship wrestling and I have <hes> Jason and James <hes> I'm sorry what was your last name again. Dribble dribble okay all right and <hes> they're going to talk to us about the Russian everything so gentlemen how you guys doing good. We're good all right all right so <hes> I I won't maybe necessarily direct questions to anyone in particular as we're introducing the promotion but <hes> tell us about <hes> R C W how did it get started. Let the four James Well. I trained both Jason and my brother and my brother and I and Jason got together and we decided to kick off a promotion of our own to kind of be his Colorado Springs had it but nobody really came down to the southeast planes so we decided ready to focus on that area and see what we can do. Oh very cool and tell the listeners of where our C._W.. Is based out of just in case. They're not familiar exactly with the Colorado geography. Actually we're based the three areas Okay Canyon City Colorado Fowler Colorado in Las Animas Colorado. Okay all three of us live <hes> Jason Lives in Kenya and I live in Fowler and my brother Martin lives in Los Angeles us in that way we can kind of encompass and we have a representative all up and down the Arkansas Valley here. Oh very very cool all right so so just to fill in the listeners of that area is in they're talking about the the southern part of Colorado. The southern plains like they were saying so <hes> yeah so <hes> yeah and I'm familiar with the area personally because <hes> <hes> my <hes> Dad and his <hes> <hes> my uncles and sister they grew up in Texas creek which is fairly close to Canyon city yeah yeah exactly so very cool all right <hes> so <hes> <hes> so you guys decided that you wanted to start to promotion just because <hes> you know just to get a little bit of extra you know <hes> shows. They're going you know from the Colorado Springs area to get a lot of <hes> people travel from the springs and even further to come to the shows well. We've had people from all over the state of Colorado when we worked for another promotion. Come down here for these shows okay. This will actually be our. <unk> are able twenty-seventh will actually be our first show as redemption championship wrestling so we're hoping to get people from all over the state come in and give us a hand with <hes> making some money for the Special Education Department in Kenya City okay so this is a benefit show well. Yes Oh very cool. <hes> what made you choose <hes> that <hes> charity for for this well first off the school teachers always need help. They always spend spend their money. <hes> just a great opportunity to help out any school first off and second off the Special Education Department is just as how can I put this. It's really good to help out people people that are in need and can not do it all themselves so the Special Education Department I was actually approached by one of the school employees and that's when I signed to talk to James and Martin about dumb before with it. Oh very cool okay all right I was yeah and I I totally agree. I we always hear stories about teachers are not paid enough and they have to spend their own money for <hes> supplies and etc so and I would assume special education even gets a <hes> further <hes> whatever you WANNA call it <hes> I don't want to call it neglect but doesn't get as much attention as even this the regular <hes> program exactly and this is just once a week and help out very cool awry and is this going to be <hes> mainly geared to the special education <hes> in that area the Canyon City the <hes> Los Angeles area well this this particular GonNa geared more for Canyon City right there. Okay we have fifteen. We have another show setup and we're actually going to be donating to the after school program up there for their <hes> community center. Oh cool so <hes> so this is going to be a ongoing thing. The shows are always going to have a a benefit charity as much as we can. <hes> we went onto a few sold shows and stuff like that to help us keep the business alive and keep it going but any to give back to communities in need. We're GONNA we're take a look at that and see if we can't make that a at least a top priority whether they're actually a sponsored charity or whether we just make a donation that night after the show we just don't need it to school. What school was let James <hes> donate to my to the dance class school or something what was I can't remember the name of it right so yeah yeah it was? It's one of the things where redemption championship wrestling if we can help out in any way we're we're going to do it. We're always out there trying to put ourselves out there and not even if it involves a wrestling show but volunteering and doing things like that Oh cool okay cool. We'll volunteering is a kind of one of my things in my heart to do a lot for the American Diabetes Association and things like that so yeah cool very cool. I'm I'm proud of that cool all right <hes> so <hes> you had mentioned <hes> James You mentioned that <hes> you guys had done other <hes> worked for of doing other promotions as well and I'm assuming that those promotions are pretty much gone by the wayside. A lot of them have been gone out of business. I mean I I started this business back. In one thousand nine hundred eighty nine restrained by <hes> an organization Outta Lamar Colorado called superstars professional wrestling and then I've done some work for choice to eighth professional wrestling's since I've been all over the United States doing this. I actively retired in two thousand until they they Kinda Doug me out of mothballs to come out and do a charity show there once what's the wrestling ailing bug bitney again. It's kind of hard to stop right yeah cool so let's see here. I was going to ask you guys so <hes>. Speaking of that <hes> what kind of <hes> do you guys have a lot of local talented. You get a lot of talent from <hes> other places in Colorado and what about the United States in the world what what kind of talent comes in and Russell's for our C._W.. So hello earth going we have we have talent from we have local talent Air Colorado but we also have guys from Texas a really good guys names Chad Thomas. He's GonNa Russell actually outlaw James Girl there. We also have guys coming from Oklahoma. We'll we'll take we want everybody to strive to the best their ability and if we're able to get a man what we'll give them in where we can get him in whether it's from Colorado Oklahoma Oga Texas this New Mexico. We're trying to focus on the guys here. Colorado 'cause plenty of great talent appear <hes> just the shows are starting to get bigger as we go but this car right here we do got Colorado Oklahoma and we got on Texas cool all right so what so what <hes> what names we got <hes> coming in for the for this show on the twenty seven well <hes> we have from Oklahoma. We actually have a tag team called the new and improved express New York's press my bad apologize. They're facing Mark Justice in Tyler. Watch Keke match for the A C W tag titles which were to see how that goes because I'm very interested in seeing how those two teams go as far as I know they're both father and son and father and son. Oh yeah so that should be interesting in itself. We have Dr Kobe Black. He's he's from Oklahoma. There's Jomon name Prince Molly. I'm not exactly sure exactly where he's from so loans out of my hands I have no clue we just recently had a gentleman that was on your Cherry Tara a wish him and his family best ask look so and then like <hes>. We got guy from PLO what's <hes> K._T.. From cars brings a zillow from Pueblo <hes> myself and Canyon <hes> beanie from Las Animas Gentleman Myers extreme these from Las Animas as well <hes> some matches we have. We have a tables match with I'm involved in myself which has to be interesting dressing and never been in that he was masters should be very interesting for that match and then I've got some with Chad Thomas to to take care of this time around and when I wrestled each other in rocky Ford Colorado and that kind of turn into a slobber knocker he broke my ribs and several other things so when you come out to the show here in Canyon city don't expect a wrestling match between us to that's going to be more of a fight. Oh very cool very cool awesome. Yes right yeah well. I saw <hes> I've seen some of these names that you mentioned in <hes> <hes> C._S.. W of course as well and I've I think I've seen you Jason. They're promoting the shows as well so that's that's. That's very cool <hes> so it is it <hes> so how's that been <hes> in doing. You guys getting really good partnership there with <hes> C._S.. W and <HES> <HES> do you partner with the Iron Hills championship wrestling as well. Oh yes W an iron hills. They kinda rolled out the red carpet for us. When we told we were going to <hes> starting on promotion they have done nothing but bend over backwards to help us and we really appreciate everything that they've done for us? <hes> big guns Justin Andrew several others that they have just been more than willing to you know <hes> help us get acquainted with Colorado talent and just basically helped us nonstop. Get this thing up off the ground you know and <hes> we're trying our best to to Kinda. Give back to those guys and help them out as much as we can to. <hes> we're not gonNA just be a wrestling promotion. We're kind of a one stop shop. We build ring equipment and everything else so. So we've been helping them get some of their stuff but together. It's it's been a very cooperating <hes> experiences time around so yeah our hats off to see us w iron hills and all the Colorado promotions. Oh that's where I'll see the US goes also where we found Bruce Rogers which is going to be here Canyon City as well. Oh all right. He's here too. He's going to be in our CIMMAMON. advant actually now I don't know if you've seen any of the pictures on facebook or <hes> the posters but he's in our cinema one of my main event for the heritage championship of the B._B._C. WS <hes> which is a triple threat match and he idem Dr Code Black have some unfinished business as well not quite like outlaws and Chad compasses now what they still have a little unfinished business to take out so that should be interesting to in Bruce Rogers such A._M.. In Jan two black they're such good good is as well not just not just a great wrestler's. They're just so cooperative there so will in easy work with so if anybody ever picks him up. I recommend these guys definitely yeah. I've had I've had bruce on the show and of course I know him very well because he's a little a little bit closer to me because I'm in <hes> of course I'm Denver <hes> so and I know <hes> Bruce <hes> lives just outside of Denver in the mountains but <hes> yeah so. That's that's cool. I'm glad to see him there because he's a very good talent and I'm glad to see him getting a lot of exposure in other promotions as walk because he's he's got a lot. He does a lot he he almost does he almost as much as a big guns. Does you know Mr Colorado wrestling but not quite as much almost special thanks to especially the big guns as the one that the he reached out I and M._C._s. w like I said I like a James said Iron Hills. They've all been they've all been great. We haven't kind of reached out too much to the other promotions like new error and what's the other one <hes> we got primoz. There's Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> there's quite a few in Denver Colorado exploding. Wouldn't you agree Oh yes three green and Laura Point seen here in Colorado right now is just on on fire and there is much good talent right here in Colorado but we see companies and people coming in from all over the United States just to come here to wrestle right. Yeah I mean especially like you guys mentioned <hes> Oklahoma Homa and Texas. I think Texas is probably one of the the biggest ones that a lot of the local talent comes up from there so yeah. This is very cool so he'd love you down down in Oklahoma they they've been a tremendous help to US steel. Any Panther runs that organization down there and anything we need questions we need answered or just getting this in contact with talent they they've just been excellent to conserve cool all right so you you guys mentioned a lot of <hes> championship. Titles are going to be defended on those and all those are <hes> from our law of those from the out of state promotions that are just coming to defend their as well to kind of help you guys is going so they go to our from other other promotions one of them. The first tag team match is from a C._W.. Which is home as well okay and did the heritage title is from B._C.? W It's actually just introduced through BBC w defendant at our show fury of war here in Kansas City but we have the main event is for our C._W.. Different Championship chip tag team titles in taxing hormonal match. Okay cool cool so you guys are you guys are going to be ramping up and having your own titles as well. Yes Jean says we the go ahead James Right. Now we have our tag team titles we will be defending are actually instating here at the Kenyan city show and then in June fifteenth. We're we're actually going to introduce the redemption championship wrestling ultimate title Ooh Cool. I like the name you Beth Very. This is a title one of the things that we talked about when we. I started our promotion is we didn't want like heavyweight titles and things like that we we buddy to contend for it. So this is actually the ultimate title there is no way class anybody that steps through the ropes that that has proven themselves ourselves worthy enough to go for the title the title. There's no way classes and <hes> the are tag team turmoil we have <hes> I believe six tag teams entering mismatch but the two people that get the last pin fall are the tag team champions being so it might not be your tag team partner. That's there at the end ooh twist. That's very cool. It could be two people from two different tag teams Miracle Bowl and then they become our tag team aimed champions very cool awesome all right so let me ask you a little bit more information on the ultimate championship <hes> would that also include a dozen gender doesn't play a factor as well at this point in time anybody male now <hes> anybody can compete for the ultimate title. Go anybody very very cool all right so <hes> what other shows does do you guys having come up. You got the one on April one in June in in May or anything else booked out who they're deeply. Sorry you're definitely taking may off. We'll definitely take me off. We got a lot of stuff going on. May We revamping things whereas process of making another ring <hes> so we're definitely taking me off. <hes> allied anything on that one well in June. We're we're doing the show there in Las Animas we we have shows in the works for Rocky Ford Colorado and we're looking at July for that. We're trying to get the contracts and everything settled there. Were also looking at Lamar. Possibly Fowler Ordway Mahanta <hes> we may were wearing talk split some with an organization there at the College at O.. J. C. Mahanta that they're interested in bringing us in for a benefit to kind of help the college out down there for some of their programs so we're we're trying to get up and running and going just as fast as we can. It seems like April got here way too fast day. What makes it easier with sponsors? Sponsors are just some of these people around here are some of the sponsors they're just amazing mazing group of people that work with Yeah we've had around unbelievable help with the show with some of our sponsors like tire king and these Manning's Pizza Manistir in Canyon city <hes> several of them have come forward just to help out and get us up and going yeah yeah awesome awesome very very cool all right well okay well. I think that's pretty much all the questions I have for you guys now but before I let you go <hes> wanted to tell the listeners if they wanted to catch up with you <hes> follow you up on with social media where they can get tickets all that kind of good stuff where it work. They do all that they can get. What does that facebook or C._W.? Ultimate champion just go straight thing diagnostic. Look it up. We give championship wrestling <hes> as far as ticket places where we're getting tickets is probably GONNA be there at the door for the whole at our C._W.. Ultimate champion and facebook focus on there and we can get back to them with that. It's able point seven doors open a six show search seven okay and where's it at exactly it is in case in middle school the address twelve fifteen fifteen main street in case Colorado okay that should be pretty easy <hes> Kenyan city middle school okay cool awesome okay cool all right well gentlemen. I really appreciate you coming on to the podcast and <hes> let Malda listeners get to know <hes> about <hes> our C._W.. Thank you for having us all right. Thanks once again a big. Thank you to Jason and James James the outlaw dribble for coming onto the podcast and letting us all the know about like I said one of the newest promotions here in the Colorado Area Redemption Championship wrestling and they wanted to also let you. You guys know we talked about this off of the official interview but <hes> they have <hes> Gabby Gonzalez it will be <hes> singing the national anthem at their show on this Saturday the twenty twenty seven th of April so check them out <hes> like I said if you want to get tickets for them <hes> best just to <hes> come up to the show and and get the tickets at the door so <hes> they're not quite set up <hes> a yet therefore online sales but <hes> hopefully they'll get that in the future like I said the one of the fledgling <hes> promotions here in the Colorado area so sometimes it takes a little time to get that all ramped up but anyways <hes> let's go ahead like we already did though we review on the previous episode of the podcast but let's go ahead and just to once again talk about the <hes> upcoming events this weekend and that is on Thursday Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> supercharged four <hes> finals of the ignition <hes> championship and then also all the other great matches the championship match <hes> with <hes> <hes> Marlon bishop verse says <hes> Nyah the three way dance <hes> Fr- with Chandler Hopkins Curtis Cole and a Tiba as well as so much other matches <hes> as well. It's going to be great. I'm I'm going to be there. Hope to see some of you. Are there and you know if you guys do see me on the show. If you want to just say Hi Gimme high five or whatever that's cool with me I know sometimes everybody's a little busy and got a lot of other things <hes> on their mind and one of my <hes> <hes> things don't want to try and start doing more pictures with people <hes> fellow fans of fellow wrestlers and things of that nature but sometimes it's just difficult to understand all of that and then continuing with the Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> experience no pun intended that is happening offending on Friday the twenty six this cup coming Friday at the Rack House pub and <hes> the experiences starts at five P._M.. I believe rustling starts at nine should be always a great great time to get wreck health's rowdy and then let's go and continue with the rocky mountain pro. They're going to have their Romero's canine. Clubs show on Saturday at nine PM doors at eight eight and in Lafayette so if you want to get tickets to any of these events of course you can get him at the door. Wrestling With Altitude! - Episode 19 - Duff Doyle

"Four all right welcome back to the wrestling with altitude podcast host Mr Fourth row and on this episode. I have joining me the one and only Duff Doyle Duff how you doing there is a great day when you're doyle. That's what I hear a lot so first question out of the Chute. How did you get introduced into this crazy wacky world of professional professional wrestling? Did you watch it as a youngster or what as a little kid. I was a Hulkah- Maniac I was drawn into Paul Cogan rippin a shirt and just say in the coolest promos Trevor and there was a a stagnant period of my life where I just you know I didn't get stopped watching wrestling and <hes> landell whole back in high school <hes> w._w._f.. SMACKDOWN was starting to T._v.. Show on U._P._N.. And there's a lot of buzz with wrestling back in the late nineties as well. I'm going to give wrestling another. Go and Mick Foley did out sweet promo as mankind and just pulled me right back in that that was something I knew back in high school. That's what I wanted to do. Okay all right so then <hes> so that kind of made you think that you could do this as he wanted to do this as a profession so that is correct that is correct you know read after high school. You know it's back my senior year in high school. I remember the the the counselor would bring us into the office and start giving us a talk about why we need you do apply to colleges why we all can't be rockstars and we need to find an actual real job as do professional wrestling than a couple of schools in the area in one night. Yeah my mom was watching the news and there was a local wrestling promotion that was they're doing news story on my mom sent them. An email and I got acquainted with a the trainers there I went down for Tryout Mountain. The rest was history. Let's let's go was that by the way <hes> so it was at the time that high-velocity wrestling school which later turned into N._W._e._a.. Rocky Mountain they kind of had a partnership partnership and then Lo and behold it became a fusion pro and the the wrestling school is the altitude pro wrestling academy all right so some of those names are our listeners have heard before but not the the the first one you had said there so okay I just hear his background to our listeners so so then you have been doing this for quite some time then they're almost sixteen years. Oh Wow so. You're one of the veterans in the area. It seems weird to be called Abba Yes oh I would. I would say a veteran but you know if you started right out of high school. I mean you've got a lot of experiencing. So I mean I take it. I would say it I would go for it so then <hes> so your your favorites watching growing up was a hulk Hogan anybody else that Mika Mick Foley Cain. My favorite tag team was the Dudley Boyz <hes> randy savage ultimate warrior. I liked a lot of variety. I liked a lot of gimmick. Wrestlers over the top personality is brought me in so you'll you like the entertainment factor factor. They'll absolutely Louis C._K.. Hey to and I can say that with the doyle character. You've kind of showing that that's that's you know <hes> out of this world top of the line you know entertainment. That's let's see what is about. Would you agree that I agree okay all right so so far in your career well. Actually let's actually first of all start off. What was your first match? What was it like who was it against? <music> down so my first match I was not known as Duff Doyle at this point in time was known as the vigilante. My very first match was against <hes> jun-soo place called whiskey. Bills nosers are high-velocity restaurant and <hes> yeah. I was pretty nervous down that I'm beyond June. Sue is still plugging away too right so so there's a question I started to ask a lot of the wrestlers on the podcast. Did you know that this was going to be your first match or was this kind of like last minute. I didn't know it was going to be my first batch. Okay later on that night. I had my second match was in a battle royal which seems most Indians do a battle royal. What did you know about that one ahead of time? No I did not all right so those are half-and-half on that first night. What's so what's it like? Well Gosh in this case. What's it like not knowing when you first got notified that you were going to be in a battle royal later that night when what were you thinking that I thought it was Kinda cool as well at the must've did okay if they want me to wrestle <hes> again so I was a little nerve wracking but at the same time it went pretty good so so who who was your trainer br coming up in the business so my my main trainers a Jeff mcallister Billy Roberts who wrestled on the name Billy v <hes> later on there was a guy named Bison Smith who is also one of my trainers and Bison Wrestle with the are Leitch Shimoda Noah and a little bit new Japan? Oh cool now are you. Are you <hes> helping in bringing up some of the young guns that are coming up in the business like likely likely <hes> Logan austen's and etcetera yes. I'M A coach trainer Extreme Jim Twenty four seven for professional wrestling now typically run Thursday nights and a good group of guys and Gals at come up to train okay now. What's it like <hes> getting that <hes> student that comes in you know not knowing anything and then seeing them come up with their first matches? If you had that experience quite a few I it's it's a I never coached anybody in school and I'd never joined any athletic teams but to shape and mold my trainees to actually have their very first match and to know that they're doing well on getting booked with multiple promotions at actually makes me feel really good and very accomplished. It's it's fun and I'm glad to be a part of their lives and hopefully they can learn from my mistakes and <hes> I guess the keep the maintain the level of professionalism to further their career further than I've gotten in mind any of the people that you helped train was any their first matches against you. No their second matches were okay so that you know which is fine that way they they're used to train with me but if their arrests on other people branches out and you could see differently I guess risk how they reacted to their match right and there may be a level they may not be as nervous <hes> Glenn against somebody else versus their trainer you know because with our trainer you would you agree. Maybe they would be like Oh God. We got to get this right. We gotta get those perfect. Yes absolutely cool all right so then so far in your career. Have you had any <hes> great memorable moments that you got you. Were getting yourself after the match during the match going got can't believe I just did that or got the Russell that person that my very first championship win was pretty special. I one the fusion Pro Wrestling Championship <hes> as my first title I ever won as it has definitely the most memorable in the most special to me <hes> of won a championship and all the promotions at worked with but that one is regarded as my highest one <hes> being contacted by W._W._e.. A few times to do extra work with them as also Kinda geeked out the first time they ever called but it was a lot of fun and I did some stuff with them back in March that went down to Florida. The annex t extra work so it's it's fun and I think I remember seeing that you <hes> you're not <hes> you're not hard to ness yeah. I kinda planned it that way. It's <hes> goes with a Bass theory not the brighter you know. People have to look at you have if you if you don't stand out in some way shape or form you're just going to blend in easily forgotten. There's something about William Regal had told us because it he used to meet with everybody and talk to them about the business. You know what they're looking for. You know if you if you don't stand out if you're just average that's all you're ever GonNa be okay so along the same lines about memorable moments who have been your like your favorite opponents to work with either as a single even though and also attacked him even even though I don't think we see you in a tag team competition too much. What what are your thoughts? What are your favorite favorite opponents to work again? I go back a long time ago again. Paul Diamond we ended up <hes> that's that's the night I want my championship with fusion as a gauntlet matches eight of us wrestling each other and him and out of the last ones that were both baby faces and it was so loud does nobody knew how it was going ago. <HES> and I ended up getting the trailer hitch and he ended up tapping out. It was so loud. I'd never had a experience like that. Before years ago. I won a tag team. Match match was a tag team cup the N._W._f.. Western states championship with Dustin Europe. This is also back at fusion H- you'd have to be my favorite tag team partner and that's quite a few years ago now but it's a that was a lot of fun. Oh now any any memorable tag team moment <hes> people that you as a partner or and as opponents you like working with in his name was Tristan Gallo back in the day which is Martin to sows and a Dallas Murdoch they tag teamed together. Dustin denied wrestled them a few times and that was my favorite tag team match ever because even the people who booed me. were cheering for me by the end of that night it was it was a lot of fun that night you turn that you turn the tide that night. He has a the the Anti Duff's that they used to wear yellow. They used to boo me but they had talked with my little brother saying do I couldn't do tonight man. It was great you know which was good right so beyond the W._W._e.. Any other brushes with path that you've had your got the wrestle at the Cauliflower Alley Reunion in Las Vegas as the first their fiftieth anniversary the two shows the Casino Royale and I was was the only guy from Colorado wrestle both nights. They're both in battle royals but when you're going out there you know there's a huge collection of promoters and independent wrestlers in independent promotions it Kinda look so it's more of a networking type of thing <hes> and that that was a lot of fun to just. There's a lot of people from New Japan former W._W._e.. Guys impact wrestlers were there. It was a good time and I'd recommend any indy wrestler to sign up to the Cauliflower Alley Club and go out to the reunion just to learn stuff from the old timers because you you will learn stuff right and and it's for a great cause to yet it is. It's a it's a nonprofit that helps professional wrestlers something I believe in it's a truly is does a lot of wonderful things for people correct okay so let's talk about the future any <hes> nipple you would like to face <hes> anywhere anytime any promotion anyhow dough bland anyone a w._w._e.. would be great great <hes>. Let's see any time any place well. I do want to Wrestle A._J.. Holiday I don't know when that's going to happen but when it happens it is going to be a beating of a lifetime for A._J.. Holiday. And what's what's what's your your beef with him just because he's Kinda hooked up with duly trailer right now or what his team in duly trailer and I feel a little betrayed because I took that kid under my wing him he's cost matches. You Know My last match with the Bruce Rogers. He ended up distracting. Me and Bruce walked away victorious that night so I got a little score to settle with that kid I see what about the far future any plans on working other promotions in-state Outta state. There's been a few out of stairs that have reached out to me so so there could be possible futures with that will see could be Nebraska could be eastern Colorado. Just try not to plan win too much in the future because you never know what tomorrow will bring right got to spread that duff militia a little bit you know don't think that I do the militias pretty strong. Kill all right so so <hes> now you're going to have an oddball question because I've <hes> ran into you outside of wrestling a few times at science fiction conventions so what's Duff's <hes> favorite type Scifi by Godzilla and you're excited about the new movie coming out. They'll absolutely absolutely all right how did you how did you get interested in Godzilla was it was the old old movies no yeah I mean it's it's pretty much wrestling just with the monsters you know it's a lot of cool stuff. You know what little kid doesn't love a trans source you know and Godzilla was cooler because he'd longer arms orange and blue fire does sweep kill all right okay so death. I appreciate you coming on to the podcast around but before I let you go and some people wanted to follow up with you on social media. Where could they follow up with you? When it came to professional wrestling of course we have rocky mountain pro with their ignition and charged TV tapings for right now TV also you can see on twitch as well <hes> they're continuing to just rock on no pun intended with their story lines leading up to a believe supercharged five five five five five that was five there? Did you count along and <hes> we're just continuing to go on there. Then on Saturday rocky mountain pro in the afternoon <hes> held a live event at the Lucia Cantina in Littleton Colorado so grandjean out a little bit Ed and <hes> hitting another part of the Denver Colorado area in introducing themselves to that area they kind of looted up theme style sense. It wasn't celebration of Cinco Good Demayo even though it was may the force be with you and <hes> got to talk a little bit about Star Trek and Star Wars with the Murky Matt Hayden and Curtis Cole there <hes> on on that that day was also free Comic Book Day as well for all the nerds as Chongo Bronson with say so but it was a great event great you know being outside and watching professional wrestling in the kitchen knows nice sunrays so that was Kinda fun to see we got to see a couple of newcomers to rocky mountain pro and that was Gordo and the Blue Panther take on some of the Rocky Mountain Stars that we're used to so that's always kinda fun. When you get to see a lot of new people hey and then speaking of <hes> seems New People that you haven't seen before like I have <hes> Primoz <hes> pro wrestling held their Omega nine tournament Saturday evening at watering bowl there in <hes> Denver Colorado and they had a lot of great matches in conjunction with girl fight wrestling <hes> that was <hes> fun to see <music> some people that I have not seen before mixed it up there with the local girl women? I've seen <hes> you know in other promotions and see all the time and also good to catch up with some of the women I haven't seen in a while just is because of scheduling conflicts or whatever though we had <hes> A._J.. Pereira believe <hes> that's her name when the Oh mega tournament and then on Sunday we we had the Alpha nine tournament Lotta great matches we have special appearance by two Cold Scorpio took on the primos champion monsters zero filter big Phil Dog whatever you call him and and it was great to see a living legend in the ring take on champion and they had a knock out knock down dragging of a fight so it was fun are <hes> eventual winner. There was a hunter gray very well deserved of course I am a big fan of the norsemen hunter gray and <hes> every time get to see him. I'm enjoying my hiking experience so that was it that I attended and I knew there was some other events that <hes> I did not behave you guys ever want to send in your thoughts <hes> hey email them in or <hes> to <hes> podcast at wrestling with altitude dot com or tweet us at wrestling Russell altitude or even hit us up on the facebook so <hes> great to hear any kind of your thoughts and I'll try to read them on the show but hey let's talk about what we got on tap here for the wrestling with altitude area professional wrestling and that is we are starting the weekend off off once again with rocky mountain pro ignition and charge from the Jefferson County fairgrounds at the quarry. I am your host Mr Fourth row and on on this podcast this episode I have one of the local wrestling talents here in the Colorado area and that is kept in Stevens Yoho captain Stevens how you doing up doing good today Mr fourth worthwhile how `bout yourself I am hanging in there so I really appreciate you coming onto the show. <hes> let's start off with the first question. So how did you get interested in professional wrestling. Did you watch it as a child. Oh My my dad had me watching wrestling pretty much at least from what my mom says is when I was an infant you know like four to six months old and stuff like that and even my uncle has this little story. He likes to tell of how he knew. I was going to be a wrestler is <hes> there was one day we just finished watching wrestling and I was like three years older so and my mom was sleeping on the floor and I guess if they climbed up on the arm of the couch and did a macho man flying elbow wrist right across her nose so so at that young age. Do you remember watching or do you have any memories from back. Then I guess my earliest memory summary of professional wrestling <hes> is <hes> Summer Slam nineteen ninety two the one that took place at Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom and are used to we had recorded on a V._H._s. tape shape and I used to watch that the heck out of that tape like I used to watch especially the main event which was the Bret Hart versus the British bulldog for the intercontinental title right so the question is well. Do you still have tape and or is it just worn out and if so do you have anything so played on <hes> no I don't I don't have the tape or if the player thank thank goodness for the network so I can relive that man all right yeah. That's true so I was just I was just kind of curious so <hes> who are your favorites watching him you. Who did you really like to enjoy their work? Oh Man I could almost do like a time line with it. I mean when I was a little a little kid. It was the ultimate warrior I mean even dressed up like in for all and stuff like that did the whole face paint in the arm tassels and stuff like that and then <hes> as I got older and he wasn't there it kind of transitioned into <hes> to brow heart watched a follow 'em even when he left <hes> after Montreal all the way to W._C._W.. I followed his career up until pretty much time he laughed and that's back she bow I'd stop watching wrestling for a little bit around then but I'd say those are probably the two biggest no very cool so then <hes> what then got you into thinking and actually taking that step into doing this as a as a little bit of the profession so in in about two thousand eight as about twenty years older so I had <hes> I went to a R._M._c. w show it was at <hes> reading Jerry's they had like Butch Reed there and I watched him wrestle Rob Bryson and stuff like that and then <hes> I remember after that being invited over to like a a Wrestlemainia Watch party at someone's house and they were talking about training guys then and I had gotten somewhat interested back then is I didn't even know there was an independent wrestling scene in Colorado at all until about that time Oh wow wow so then <hes> who who was it that you got involved with doing your training and and stuff my stubborn night of training actually <hes> I I went to the. I don't know if you remember it. The I W F butcher shop I've heard of it. Yes it's it's it's essentially now. The PRIMOZ butcher shot up because pretty much just GonNa took over the school right and people were. You know people who trained they're essentially worked promotions of whatnot and it just kind of transition to Primoz once I W F closed doors but that that was my first night at training was with I._W._f.. And then I just continued when it went into when it transferred over to Primoz Um and so did you start training there right away in two thousand eight. Did you say no actually I did not find a school until about two thousand eleven doesn't eleven okay I ended up just looking it up online and found that school though okay awesome and so you have been doing this <hes> ever since then so about seven eight years <hes> if if challenge training right right yeah. That's what I'm saying yeah I mean we do what we do training because it's still part of all the process right now part of all the process. You honestly never stop learning so well. Yeah that's true. That's very true. You're so then <hes>. When did you have like your first match crazy enough? My first match didn't come on WanNa see came in about two thousand fifteen. I I wasn't always the best about maintaining a proper coming to training schedule because I had really crazy work hours especially starting in two thousand eleven when my boss was very adamant about not giving me the days off that they trained so I you know I didn't make my debut herb like my first match until about two thousand fourteen two thousand fifteen <hes> and who was your opponent <hes> crazy enough. Have you ever heard of <hes> Primoz carnival the actual show yes yeah the Halloween show yes my first match. I was stung and I wrestled cody divine. Who was us <hes> staying okay Nice? That's very that's very cool awesome all right so then <hes> you just been kind of hitting the promotions <hes> pretty much since then Kinda got steady <hes> <hes> work schedule per se you know in the in the wrestling <hes> community then I I do at least in Denver and like 'cause I. I work with Primos and I work with C._S.. W I mean it's definitely not to say that I wouldn't want to work for any other promotion because I mean I have wrestled like twice for Lucia Lebron lamps but I definitely would like to do more but I do eat steady with pre Muhsin C._S.. W right and did I want. Did I catch at one time. You worked for was it. Is it big sky as well big sky. That's <hes> promotion out in Wyoming Yeah. They're United States champion. I'm sorry you cut out there say that again. I'm actually they're United States champion you current the current United States champion champion in Big Sky <hes> Yep and how often do they do show because it seems like <hes> kind of little intermittent or they are very they're very intermittent. We haven't had our show up there since I wanNA see June or July well. Do you think that's just because <hes> well you. Would you agree with me that the wrestling scene in Colorado's really taking off right now <hes> I would definitely chalk it up to that. I mean there's no I mean it's really crazy right now. Without any promotions there that are popping up in around the state especially you know down in Colorado Springs and stuff like that and then you have Primoz in new era and rocky mountain pro and Lucia brand laughs up at Denver right and then the count countless number of Lucia actual Lucia Promotions to Oh yeah so all right well <hes> you now well you kind of two <hes> currently are in a <hes>. I guess you the best way to explain it would be like a faction called. The party pirate punks. How did that come about to be to be completely honest with you? I think that at a certain point we were just gonNA thrown together and because we were originally just the party pirates and it was me and polly beat and then Paulie be got injured eat hurt his knee in our first tag outing to be honest. I don't know so then <hes> a couple months later <hes> they paired me up with Johnny crash crash while poly was rehabbing and <hes> we just kind of went from there as the pirate punks and then you know about seven eight months later polly came back from his knee injury and he just Kinda got lumped in with US awesome we became the party pirate punks ever since harlow was <hes> was was it just something that just kind of happened or were you kind of put together by anybody like special that maybe we've mentioned on the podcast before. There's just I could definitely say it. Was it someone it's definitely `specially I mean <hes> Chris Chavez. The former owner of CIS w <hes> is the one that put us together I had I had an idea. He's he's. He's he's. He's kind of genius would you. He's just kind of has that magical touch. Would you agree with that you really did he really did have that. Just kind of that magical touch. I mean I don't now. I can't honestly say like right off the top at what it was but there was just there was always something about you know see us w when we first got there that just kinda made wrestling down on the spur in Colorado Springs really special DAB him there and I do know that a lot of us really miss him so oh yeah I miss him too. <hes> so speaking of that <hes> I know that you and I have kind of talked about it a little bit but why don't we go ahead and reiterate reiterate on the <hes> podcast <hes> the couple special things that <hes> with when it comes to see us w for you <hes> that have kind of been book and <hes> most recently with the <hes> last <hes> Colorado Springs shelves so tell tell everybody about that well I mean just kristen general was always just someone that really believed a lot of me and he always spoke really highly of me and you know we had worked before he opened C._S.. W We had worked a couple times on the independent scene and he was really Yummy then and then <hes> you know <hes> Mian Cormack battle were actually in the very very first match N._C._I._S. W I mean we opened the very very first show was just mean Cormac and now that will always kind of be like a little special thing that I have with Mac you know an opening up that show right and then now most recently tell the listeners <hes> what happened <hes> for you <hes> with <hes> C._S.. W All I am <hes> one half of the C._S.. W tag eighteen champions with my cohorts Bali and Johnny crash and I also just won the Christopher Chavez senior memorial battle royal got a big big big trophy for that right and show that okay and a and that leads me into <hes> what you have coming up in the near future <hes> here in about <hes> just a little bit over in a week so tell the listeners what is going on there well. I actually have <hes> if you don't mind actually two show's coming up here in about a week and a half you know definitely Primoz. This Sunday is a woman scorned from the watering bowl. That's going to be one heck of the show I mean I mean. Have you seen the main event for that one already. Oh yeah lament filter in Anaya. That's Oh God that's going to be a match it. Nobody should miss and then a week from Friday march eighth. I'm at <hes> C._S.. W Bar fights volume three were the main event is myself versus. <hes> Joey can eight and that's in other matches two bulls right right and Joey Kincaid was the person that you had was the last person was <hes> eliminated before you won the <hes> the tournament before winning about a royal right was was orange was the last person eliminated was a person that I eliminated there to whip that a royal yeah so he <hes> he think he's coming out coming back at you for a little bit of revenge all I wouldn't necessarily early put it fast on now. I mean he definitely didn't look happy after the elimination and I tell you he is is one tough guy right. Oh yeah well. They don't call him the human grenade for nothing. That's very true true very true yeah so let's <hes> so we got those out but let's talk about possibly <hes> in the near or in the <hes> little bit farther in the future <hes> if you do you have any kind of like dream matches any kind of opponents that you would like to wrestle a both as a single competitor and then maybe even getting the P P P the triple p. together and you know going against other tag teams and this could be anybody in you know close proximity to the Colorado area or even nationwide. You know maybe somebody <hes> Ion. That's you know on T._v.. Or something like that or you know and and then along with that have you had any brushes with any kind of <hes> you know people that you know National People may have heard about <hes> not necessarily like National People. I haven't really had any brushes that <hes> as far as dream matches go I mean I'd really love to wrestle as a tag team. It was me and the Party and the triple P.. I would honestly say like three matches <hes> the pillars of destiny. <hes> that would be the vikings. I would be a really good match. I really look forward to that and then there's also <hes> the one percent <hes> the team the TAG team that Roy size XS in that abby attacked team. I'd love up to face well all right and well you know and I didn't want us. You know I also have to put the Canadian pit bulls in there as well. Oh Yeah I I would love to Russell the Canadian pit bulls and then I guess as a singles competitor like my <hes> my two on the on the Dream List bucket list kind of thing right now are I'd love to Wrestle Lonnie Zelda's or Mike sidell okay definitely love to wrestle Mike Side L.. That would be fun. That would be fun yeah I could I could I can see that so you think <hes> I would I would. I'm not going to speak for him but I think the pillars destinies would even welcome a two on three handicap match to those guys those guys definitely look crazy yeah or awesome yeah well you know they have had some exposure on <hes> on impact <hes> not necessarily the main show but there <hes> web show the explosion show so there you go. That's that's there's some national brush brushing fame right there so that would be kind that'd be kind of fun well and then of course the one percent <hes> Roy six giral Nelson so yeah they they're all over the place so yeah that would be definitely a possibility oh yeah all right <hes> so any other <hes> any other things that you have coming up here in the near future besides <hes> Primoz and <hes> see us. W even you know three four weeks six in in that you're aware of that you can announce here. I can actually go over a few things. <hes> Primoz has been pretty heavily promoting <hes> few shows coming up here within the next couple of months. <hes> like I said to start you know this Sunday March third at the watering bowl and Denver Colorado <hes> there is a woman scorn and that's going to be too. It's usually starts about seven seven fifteen tickets sir ten dollars online about fifteen bucks at the door and <hes> definitely looking forward to that show and then March eighth is <hes> C._S.. W Bar fights volume three and that's at the plainfield sports bar in Colorado Colorado Springs <hes> then <hes> <hes> April seventh <hes> Primoz has teamed with the Watering Bowl and Krell royal and they are doing Wrestlemainia Watch party called Crown Royal Rumble who and that is a free entry and that's it our little gift to the fans of Primoz pro wrestling and the fans of pro wrestling general. You're going to get a little bit of a little bit alive wrestling hustling before the pre show and then be able to watch the pre show wrestlemainia after cool. That sounds like fun and then. I know that you know about this already but you know that every may so taking place this year on make this is Alpha Knight Right. It's our annual tournament crowns the best high flyer lunch door wrestler you just hear you'll pure wrestler doors and hi fliers. It's it's just an amazing show that takes place on May fifth but also it's been extended a day so it's many fourth and may fifth and you're also now going to get Omega night. which is an all women's tournament? Oh yeah they're going to crown the best female wrestler Lucia Hi Flyer Grappler yes so <hes> I guess you could say that <hes> <hes> Primo is kind of really <hes> teaming it up in ratcheting up with all these kind of <hes> events knows yeah cool like I liked that a lot yet cool awesome all right well will. I think that's all I have for you right now but before I let you go. Why don't you tell the listeners <hes> about if you've <hes> they wanted to <hes> follow you like on <hes> social media where they could find you like the facebooks the twitter's the accenture is already? You can find me on facebook at the dread captain Stevens <hes> you can find me on both twitter and instagram under both dread captain opt in S._C.. Oh my pleasure man is an honor to be here all right. Thank you once again a big. Thank you to captain Stevens for coming onto the podcast this week I salute you. I really appreciate J._J.. For coming on so let's go ahead and before we get talk about this upcoming week. Let's do the week in review so last Thursday was the rocky mountain pro ignition and charged episodes from the Rocky Mountain Quarry in the Jefferson County fairgrounds great shows as always got to see some new talent <hes> that traveled in and came in then <hes> we had <hes> the Youngun Champ Gentler Hopkins came in got to see him good. I really enjoy him. Him And Curtis Cole had a barn burder. Excuse excuse the Pun of a match it was amazing and I really love seeing the young gun come in town. He needs to come in town more often and <hes> there was a couple of other talents <unk>. I not sherve. I caught their names quite properly. <hes> one was the <hes> melih infant <hes> milk. Oh a belief and that was great. I loved his character is Great Craig character great great great and then on Friday the Lucci brain laughs today Inter Gender Tag team tournament kicked off the equal fights a two day tournament <hes> great I went tended that and got the see for the first time Delilah Doom in person and Ruby raise it was their Taya Tavakkoli came in town like I said that was great. Her and Mike Zell Yoga salt had a fantastic match and then I would say <hes> Allegata an Anaya Dia versus Caleb crush and Delilah doom was a fantastic match while they were all fantastic matches but <hes> those matches a were probably the highlights for me Eh especially because <hes> just van service for myself I would say that with Anaya and Allegata <hes> pulling a little bit of the left F- coast guerrillas <hes> tactics out and displayed them against their opponents was great and then also on Friday as well. The Rocky mountain pro had their rocky Mount WPRO experience at the roundhouse unfortunately because Lucci relaxed had <hes> that event that night as well wasn't able to attend <hes> look like it went off really well of course the talent that came in for the Thursday show at Rocky Mountain pro was also there as well so it's always kind of Nice to see though get introduced a couple more talents and not get so comfortable with the towns to see all the time at all these shows and then <hes> like I said Saturday was the combination of deliberation laughs tournament where Caleb crush and Eliah doom won the tournament well undeserved everybody did well. They <hes> faced ruby raise and I am the provider <hes> in the finals. <hes> got to see all kinds of things <hes> you're also on Saturday night. Joy Ryan was there but they hadn't said who he was going to be facing and boom as soon as the music hit it was the fiercest feline nine in Lucia Lebron Alley Gatto so keeping it up with the theme for the equal fights Allegata faced Joey Freakin Ryan I was I was so happy to to see that match. It was amazing and <hes> I there's not enough words to describe it all and then also the Iron Hills this championship wrestling promotion also came back had their showdown there in Colorado Springs looks like it went off well surprisingly Jimbo Lucas guest lost his championship and he vows to get it back as soon as he can. <hes> sound like there was a little bit of <hes> dispute on how it it happens so I'll be excited to see how that all turns out and then on Sunday I attended for the first time I went to Hugo's Lucia libra which also takes place at Jefferson County fairgrounds. <hes> same places rocky mountain pro they dress up the arena a little bit different with the Hugo's branding and all stuff like that of course with us being the deliberate a lot of it was in Spanish and I am not even enclose to understanding a good majority of the words I know a lot <hes> it's a different different experience and it's formatted a lot differently <hes> I did mark out that they have a mascot that comes out <hes> before the show and kind of like at Intermission <hes> at say. I kinda liked it. I thought it was fun. Russell exposed to be about fun so I I really enjoyed that. <hes> got to see a couple of people that of course new Delta the junior and Red Viper and I had a match as well <hes> Luna was there. I got this. We've seen her rocky mountain pro a few times as well so it was kind of fun. <hes> got to see a lot of new faces faces <hes> they do a lot of two out of three falls. I think as well 'cause they have a <hes> a ring card girl woman. Whatever you WANNA call her a come out to tell you what around or reading it or follow this kind of stuff like that so that was Kinda Fun? Definitely WanNa go again <hes> because it is a definite experience <hes> rowdy crowd beaten on drums and all that kind of stuff that you would expect from a more traditional Lucia Lube Ray <hes> promotion so that was fun so not talking about the past. Let's talk about the future we have this Thursday coming up as a time of this recording that is tomorrow and with it being the last Thursday of the month that means it is time for rocky mountain pro supercharged and it's is going to be a purge event which means it is anything goes ladders chairs. <hes> still <hes> barrels whatever you can find. I wonder if the infamous <hes> shovel that may have a little residue. If you know what I mean <hes> will make an appearance as well. If you WANNA get tickets <hes>. It's not too late but you can always get tickets are our M._p.. WRESTLING DOT COM or you can get him at the door door course the prices do in crease and then I do not believe as far as I'm checking my notes that we do have don't have anything on Friday or Saturday but we do have on Saturday like captain Stevens was mentioning we do have primose <hes> pro wrestling <hes> having their woman scorn learn <hes> event where we've got <hes> daisy and I am the product Shade Taryn Tula and Tire Russ Amee <hes> <hes> they're featured heavily in this event <hes> and like he were like captain Stevens was saying got a niane filter to the biggest toughest guys he's here in the wrestling with altitude area going at it. You can get tickets ten dollars online fifteen dollars at the door showtime seven P._M.. Doors Open Open at six thirty so you want to get tickets go to Primoz pro wrestling dot com. I am your host Mr Fourth row and I'm very excited because I have two of my most favorite people in the world and that is brutal Bob Evans and tough timmy us. They are Tough Guy Inc gentlemen. How are you doing? It's great to be here Mr Fourth row. I'm excited. I'm excited to be here on the podcast that I'm excited. It's we've been we've been trying to connect for awhile and finally we finally lined it. All up MC cited to be here and I'm excited to be in Colorado and see you next week so can be big time. Yeah we <hes> we've already talked to miss the first row Mr Sector. Oh Mr third row so it's about time you talk to this before. Throw just on list on the list all right so let's <hes> Kinda start off at the beginning <hes>. How did you guys get interested in <hes> professional wrestling? Did you watch it as a youngster <hes> well I I started. I started watching it. When I was with fourteen years old? I watched <hes> I watched wrestlemania twenty two at my friend's house in Mick Foley went got spirit through the flaming table number since then I was I was I was hooked to it. So that's an got I got in the I got into the local entity scene and became a fan of ring of honor and was just I ever since then. I just wanted to be a wrestler well. That was tim by the way Bob case doesn't know who we are. I'm Tim yes so oh yeah tim stories allow different from <hes> mind but <hes> I started watching it when I was <hes> because I'm quite a bit older than Tim so I started watching it <hes> in nineteen eighty-four right when Hogan pipe we're getting big war to settle the score roar and all that actually just showed him <hes> the whole special awhile ago <hes> just to show him kind of like what how was like back down so yeah it was cool so nice to go back and visit but that's that's pretty much what got me into it and <hes> started in nineteen ninety two and a little group into Bedford Massachusetts and <hes> been going ever since so and started in ring of honor about nine years ago and and still make appearances there with Tim sometimes but we've got a branched out and become our own thing our own brand <hes> so now we're not necessarily in any other but any other business except for the tough guy business so <hes> cool all right <hes> so how did <hes> Bob. When did you have like your your first match it was it was in one thousand nine hundred? Did you say yeah I mentioned in April Nineteen ninety-two against the guy named <hes> Bobby Moran Dan whose unfortunately in along with us but <hes> yeah it was <hes> in in that same little mill building in new Bedford Massachusetts and <hes> diesel crowd. They're probably hundred fifty two hundred people at the time and there really wasn't much of an underground scene back then so it was it's kind of like what's happening now. <hes> with they kind of really the only place to go was Kowalski's in Boston and New Bedford was about an hour away from Boston and there were guys wanted to wrestle so a couple of Ju- journeyman guys Kinda said well. If you get a class together we'll train you and the kind of started their own thing in new Bedford and it's actually still going today. It's called top opera promotions and they still run <hes> two or three events a month so it's kind of but that they're Kinda. They were kind of doing the same thing back them is. Just instead of four or five groups popping up there was one but it offered a lot out of opportunities to me and several other people so yeah nineteen ninety-two longtime and Tim of how did you get started. How was your first match? Was it like a started in a started in August two thousand yeah that was my first match rest of the guy named will Wyeth who <hes> he was. He was a journeyman in my area at the time in in New Jersey and it was he was very helpful to me in the beginning getting so I started at a place called ace professional wrestling which is still around that still accompany the they still run monthly shows here in New Jersey and <hes> yeah so so I I got to take I got to learn from from quite a few different like really talented. Local guys got named Danny Moth from Azriel and a guy named E. C. Negro who's who's always been and they're always in and they really they really helped me out in in the beginning before I I I started before I trained at the monster factory and the are wage. Joe Joe is well right and <hes> do you guys every chance to go back and <hes> in Russell for those for those promotions and if so what was what's I like <hes> I'll speak I <hes> the we've gotten to haven't gotten to wrestle for that promotion in quite some time but but I've gotten to wrestle for promotions in the surrounding area with a lot of similar guys and they're always everybody's everybody's super supportive of May. It's it's really it's really cool. It's really cool thing. <hes> everybody like super proud of what I'm doing getting to travel all over the country again to learn this great eight business with with Bob. It's it's it's just been an incredible journey so so as far as when when I'm back in in the New Jersey area wrestling or New York New Jersey area everybody is very super supportive in very happy that that that I've gotten to branch out and see the world in Yeah I've <hes> I still go back to top row. Promotions probably not as much as I'd like to because we're booked in other places but <hes> you know I'd say several times a year three or four times maybe more <hes> that they have a very good <hes> base there and they're really turning out a lot of good talent. That's where <hes> T._K._O.. So Ryan Vinnie Marcel <hes> that's where those guys have come from and this is a gentleman <hes> e._e._G.. Anthony Green who's making a lot of waves. He got his break there <hes> so you know it's it's nice to see the next general actually it's two generations now <hes> doing a lot of that were <hes>. I've actually made it. A gold first. Half of the year have reached back to some of the quote Unquote Lesser Leagues. Tim's helped me with this <hes> in New England <hes> because that's really what kind of benefited me back in two thousand nine when I decided to close my school and Kinda just become a roving instructor I I tried to go where I was needed. The most and the top promotions in New England really are some of the elite promotions in the country so they're they're pretty set <hes> not that I wouldn't not that they wouldn't welcome my visit but I think I can be a little bit more helpful in the in the lower groups kind of like a ball you know kind and instead of AAA ball so <hes> just going to visit with them and I'm actually working for a couple of groups and Tim Abi helped me on that in the next few months. Excuse me but yeah I I try to get. I've I've have really this is probably the most I've done in New England in several years so it's it's nice to take a break in Kinda. You know this impersonal stuff going on. Don't worry everybody I'm fine but you know this personal stuff going on that makes it easier for me to be a little closer to home and I'm enjoying it because after it in the road hard for thirty six straight months it was nice to Kinda just relaxed and have a few moments where you could not have to drive a thousand miles on weekend Gotcha all right and so. How did you guys meet? Tell us about that. Well I yeah I met <hes> I met Bob at at the monster factory when I was when I was a student there <hes> and I actually took his seminar so which is which is quite fitting <hes> yeah so I I I got to learn from him that day. I he agreed retirement sixty minute Max with me that still hasn't happened that will happen. One day and Monday will happen and <hes> but but yeah it was <hes> I got to got to learned from him and then and then through that <hes> through the are wage seminars in through other seminars and stuff like that I really got to get to work with him in and get to know him in we quick as a team and end. That's IT Kinda. Kinda moved forward from there so an Imbaba you have anything to add from the instructor site. No it was <hes> I felt like <hes> <hes> is a nice kid. I met along the way and <hes> I felt like he was getting Kinda. Short shrift that day Danny cages dear friend of mine and he certainly wasn't trying to this is a lot of people that day which is good you know as blessed have a lot of people there <hes> but I felt like Tim wasn't getting the individual attention you needed and I kinda just liking to him because you know Tim's Kinda Awkward Goofy Nicanor reminded me a little bit of myself back in the day so it's kind of charming and I you know he he <hes> you you know I kinda liked him right away so and could tell he was maybe a little bit behind athletically with some of the other guys but I felt like he you know he never gave up and he always wanted to learn and at good questions and things like that and then i Said said let me Russell Russell Tim for an hour and Danny's Oh we don't have time for that. I said I'll wrestle on the floor and I think we got what we get to have about. Seventeen minutes in seventeen minutes in house like wrestling wrestling on the amateur Matt's for an hour I don't care and we got about seventeen in and just kinda and I think we bonded on that moment and <hes> I think Tim was happy. Just have someone who was you know not not willing to give up on them and you know because Danny was doing a good job with them but there's always that you know that sometimes sometimes time to take some extra person to command and kind of confirm all the things that <hes> Danny cage had to say and so and then you know we tim had been still been struggling. I think Tim will be be able to talk to this little bit more but <hes> went to the ring of Honor Seminar and I think he was looking for something and found it because they you know people people say we resemble each other kind of only in our Anderson do where he kind of looks like my son or my nephew or my little it'll brother or whatever so kinda picked on us about it and you know Tim was just with the flow. I kinda fought it for about half a day and then I said you know what maybe this is a way to refresh myself after the cheeseburger feud was over <hes> that's cheeseburger bring Amman I wasn't fighting sandwiches food fight and then yeah so then it was <hes> and it was just a way to Kinda. Get another hook. You know like Tony Sherwani says his podcast jess you need a hook and and this was a way to get hook and get another young guy and help another young guy along which I love to do and kind of make myself <hes> current again so and <hes> I feel like we never really really achieved the potential <hes> due to a bunch of different circumstances. I'm not bitter complaining about it. It's just these things happen and <hes> but we there was a time when we really wanted to start teaming mean regularly and ring of honor was an offering those chances and we love ring of honor and we have nothing bad say about him but it was time to kind of you know look you know a referring amount of running fifty dates a year that leaves three hundred and fifty days on the schedules so let's try to fill some of those days and we just made a kept our weekends full and both made a serious commitment to this team and I've never had someone so committed and serious to me aside from maybe my family and my wife so <hes> so it. He's he's not a great job. <hes> you know we that's team formed you know three three and a half years ago and then we got super serious about it in September Twenty Fifteen Tim Twenty sixteen twenty sixty so it was and then we so you know here we are two two and a half years later. I mean yeah hundreds of matches as a team now and it's really been a quite a ride quite a ride and it's been it's fun. We've been in gun to wrestling thirty. Seven states did seminars all over the country three provinces of Canada together so it's just thousands upon thousands upon thousands of miles on a car in a in a Boston cling in a boat yup in a boat Yup so it's just been it's been a good. It's been a some it's been some of the best years of my life it at has been the best years of my life not some the best in my life this past these past specifically two years have been the best years of my life so and okay so you're just were mentioning about all these modes of transportation. Did I remember seeing something out out there that you guys are still looking for different ways to travel to events when it comes to transportation trying to get them all often the checklist oh yeah yeah. We're we last year last year. No we did. We did about a train a box a plane yet so I mean if somebody wants to lend us out there copter jetpack or <hes> or hovercraft <hes>. We'd we'd we'd like to borrow them because we need. We need to get their manny. We need to get wrestling as many ways as possible to show people how possible it is just whatever whatever whatever your means you gotta just get to you. GotTa get to wrestling no matter what we gotta do the draw do a flight overrides train. Whatever yeah wherever wherever wherever will take through with most ago go we'd love to use it so cool all right so kind of one of the main reasons? Why I got you guys on is because we are talking about seminars so that's actually talk about <hes> Bob? How did you <hes> start with this idea of the <hes> doing these seminars that hangs with bombs some ours I mean what was that like well? It started doing seminars <hes> anyway just because I was I I was feeling pretty confident about it. Once ring of honor started using me for their seminars and it really helped me and I also was part of a team that included delirious Sir my goodness Jerry Lynn Christopher Daniels Briscoes Adam Cole Jay Lethal Kevin Kelly Rabbani. I mean just just tons and top sinclair tons and tons of great wrestling minds that could the pass along their knowledge and I learned a whole bunch of teaching styles <hes> and I realized kind of that. I knew what I was talking about. which was really very I mean I'd run for ten years and everybody was pretty decent so I knew I knew something but it's nice to have that national confirmation so I just started branching out and saying hey if people want people want to use me seminars go ahead and you know I started doing some small seminars? Just want to get a bunch guys to work out everybody throwing twenty bucks and you know doesn't have to be fancy but if you just WanNa work out in and so I did that for a couple of years and just very informal and then thanks Bob Concept was formed when I was sitting on my porch and I I just had noticed that a took pictures of the bunch of people and they and they were all kind of doing well for themselves and they were all head getting major deal so I basically tongue-in-cheek jokingly took credit for it you know hangs with Bob goes to annexed the exit. Bob Goes to Japan hangs with Bob goes to W W you know that type of thing so it kind of just and then I said well hey that's kind of a it's kind of a neat name for a seminar anyway because I always hated the name. I use it all the time but I don't really like that because I don't think it really big seminars can be kinda cold and calculated and <hes> I really one thing I learned earned was what to do. Another thing I've learned is what not to do by some of these trainers who are not gonNA mention but I felt like there was there was a negative a lot of negative stuff going on where it was old. Guys is just yelling at you and holding over your head that you didn't have knowledge and really just making it an outlet for their own insecurities and I didn't feel like the right way to do it so I said well. Let's just make it. Hey come hang with me. Come hang out. We'll learn some stuff full. Will it'll be a fairly relaxed environment. It'll be fun be motivational. It'll be uplifting you'll feel good about it. May even shed a tear you laugh a lot at trying to make it fun and and you know but we work real hard to and and I get people thinking and I get people thinking about how they can. You know Kinda. Make a couple of bucks in this business you know so they can justify to a wife on their husband or they're the jerk at work. WHO WHEN YOU'RE GONNA make money at this you know so I just kinda and I figured out kind of kind of answer? The questions that I wanted as a seminar I mean it's all in teach people do tosses and all that stuff and that's all that stuff necessary but the biggest thing you can do is teach these kids how to kind of become a business is on their own so and I met Matt Hayden from Rocky Mount Bro at a bring of honor seminar and he was really impressed because I took the time to you know work with him off to the side and you know just kind of spent extra time with them and he said well. Hey you know we'd love to have you come in for seminar and I thought he was just kind of paying lip-service and then he was really like he pushed it hard. He kept following up. Hey I want to bring you. I don't want to bring you in and I said Okay you know and Matt was one of the first guys who really believed in me. That's why I'm I'm you know I'm proud to call rocky mountain pro one of my homes and this is one of the reasons why wouldn't is here you know Matt was one of the first people to instill confidence in me and I tell tell tell people all the time that I don't know if I would have gotten to where I am today so matt's done a great job not only lifting up his own people but you know he helped me realize my potential too so I'm very grateful. which is you know why we're doing the big camp at his place? You know the biggest one I've ever done and <hes> and Tim so you're now you're helping to now with the <hes> hangs with Bob as well you know and doing some <hes> teaching instructing yeah yeah I mean I feel like I feel like my role is is is kind of the the the generation like connector because I feel like I've not too far removed from from the point when I was like completely clueless on on how to do wrestling on where to go and how to you know how to meet people how to you know how to even sell merchandiser or a even wrestling match. You know it's not a feel like I'm not super far removed from that China. I can relate in a in a way that helps them understand and I think I'd bring I think I'd bring unique perspective to the table as as well and made slightly slightly different one than Bob's even though Bob is the master at what he does is like the best of the best of all at in in my in my personal opinion. He's the best of all time when it comes to doing seminars when it comes to when it comes to doing that but I feel like I add a little flavor feel ah the play by play guy he can. He does all the nuts in both business. He does all that stuff. I feel like I committed in the nerves the colored I and at a little bit of flavor her to to the seminar to help to the the younger guys on the pay a broader picture. I gotcha cool all right so <hes> then there's GonNa ask also to the so <hes> Bob. You're talking about. <hes> you know how you got started so so basically with the name you Kinda feel like you just kind of using that name kind of gave some pizzazz as well title is actually giving a branding yeah. I think the I mean I think you need you need the I mean these days in kind of a brand than people talk about it and I think they over thank you I think they need to they think they need to come up with the next coker. You've Kleenex or McDonald's or you know a big. You know Google. You don't have to come up with something like that. You just have to come up with something that your own and again a hook you know something that the people can go. Oh yeah you know like one of the things one of the things I've been grateful for. People just Kinda go yeah. I've taken a Bob Seminar before and that's pretty much attributed to me so I've managed to Kinda make the Bob thing kind of my own shoe which is great and in fact. I'm the most prolific seminar guy ever cousin hurt because I go into these little small towns and you know Tim and I are driving and we're like I've never heard of this town. Where are we I don't know and then they'll be tour people there? You know I was I was telling Tim about <hes> of an and I said yeah we're going into the show that they they call these guys backyard is on the knock them and to show that knocks him draws one hundred and the show that supposedly has all the quote unquote backyard isn't it has four hundred and they sell out every show so oh I just we we laugh at this because you know one of the things that is good about being a national guy in Timmel Tim Tim this is one attempts. I think favorite parts of it is you just don't get you just don't get buried read into all the local drama because you just do your thing and move on and we always try to leave places better than how we found him so we're not we're not burning towns to the ground when we leave. We're actually planting seeds for the future but I mean that's that's one of the things things that I one of things. That's helped up becoming a national guy as you're a national guy so you don't get stuck in all the local indie politics and all the this guy said I can't work here and this guy doesn't want anybody in his town and you know this one sleeping with this one and it's just it turns into just a a very difficult situation to be involved in so it's one of the things that helped helped us out a lot. What would the branding and the become a national thing as you can? Just move on be. Everybody's friend kind of move on right okay so <hes> maybe this might be a question about planting those seeds I would guess maybe some of your favorite things that you've seen <hes> outcome from these seminars as and I think I've seen it just in this case for example in Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> we've seen people that have been introduced like your seminars in Maine introductions and people oh have moved across the country to go join other promotions. I mean I mean is that is that the case and I think that's correctly and if so what's that like to see that people now done this and just now flourished while we've we so you know we we we do what we can do to make things better and one of the things again. It's Kinda. The it's kind of another byproduct to be in the whole national thing is sometimes you show these people how silly some of politics are so. We've managed to advantage to heal not heal because that's very strong but we managed to help facilitate a lot of the groups in Quebec Canada get along now in a lot of work together now and they all are very good at promoting shows and they're all good at drawing so now the drawing great even even bigger houses because they're working together and Kansas has Billie Simmons and billy will be part of our seminar Thursday Friday Billie Really Simmons has done a great job of uniting Kansas wrestling and now there's five or six groups that are part of his alliance and it's not collusion or anything is just hey you run this weekend and we'll run into a couple two weeks and these other guys. It's Kinda just the hey. Let's not run a let's not run against each other. Let's use a lot of the same talent. Let's move everybody around and let's get these guys more work. <hes> and I've seen I've seen that a lot. I've seen I've I've seen people go to Matt's <hes> allowed to Matt's even like I sent people. That's all the time can even now even like examples of like guys that have that have moved to Colorado because of the opportunities that are happening there like like that Vlad ballot off. I got that I got that correctly and Chombo those two guys who moved from completely different parts of the country Chicago mode from Seattle labs mode from North Carolina and and really just like made rocky mountain pro their home really embraced the Colorado like the whole state in in the Colorado wrestling seen in really flourished out there. That's a mean I feel I feel often two guys that that the that have attended the seminars in decided they wanted better for them so I really I really doing well right now yeah and that was that was actually to people that were a top of my mind. Because of course I know them very well <hes> being in the same same area and see them every week so yeah sure and then there's been a on top of that. There's been plenty guys that have objected seminars that because because Matt Hayden he was he was a coach at at the first angry Bob Super camps so a lot of guys that attended the first tangle things of Bob Super can't dot to make many many appearances in rocky mountain pro so it's it's just been it's been super in cool to see that aspect of it to like those guys kind of flourishing in like some really cool like places around the country like Ryan key mountain pro or you know it's just that's that's been that's when one of the most rewarding parts about it is seeing seeing those guys really like go after it and you know move move their families and move them. You know up route their lives to to go after to go after what they want what they really want like cool. That's that's awesome to see all right so okay so we've been kind of tiptoeing about around it but let's go and talk about it now so we are having <hes> this coming up here very soon in the Colorado area. We're having enough. I'm not if I'm not mistaken. This is the biggest super camp ever that <hes> as ever been held for you guys so oh yeah I would say so all right. We'll tell US listeners about it. What's what's happening? What's going on in the dates and everything else <hes> March march twenty eighth <hes> thirty the thirty first through Sunday March thirty first and <hes> were invited anybody from around the world to come and it's three hundred dollars and but it's three hundred dollars in my opinion well-spent because <hes> you're going to get used on at least two out of the five events that are that weekend <hes> Rocky Mount Pro S. four events and Hugo's Lucia libra has one and they've <hes> been kind enough to offer a few select openings and we'll be working <hes> that event but <hes> a few select openings to their <hes> group as well and <hes> so you have a shot really at all five shows? I don't think we're not we're not guaranteeing that by any means were guaranteed at least two out of the four so <hes> we've also figured out with Billy Simmons come in with Chris Silvio coming with Matt Hayden. We also have mania lemons and big coming. <hes> How snow from Oh V._W.. And they just announced that they have re renewed their agreement with wrestling <hes> Stevie Richards I mean you can I think before as AL's <unk> <hes> announcement I think we were at two hundred nine possible hundred ninety two bookings so now that's gotta be well over two hundred now because Oh v._w.. Runs every week TV every week on Wednesday and then they run Saturday night special so that sixty shows elites so do you have the potential booked on two hundred and fifty shows now. You're probably not going to get booked on two hundred fifty shows because that's a lot but <hes> but you have a chance to meet <hes> five or six different promoters from five or six different parts of the country and I and in this business once you go to one show and you kind of branch out and meet people and Network and prove that you're good person usually there's two or three promoters that every every event at at the event I was on the event we were on last week. It were two or three different promoters Tim. Would you say I mean there's always to drink promoters yet. Net at shows you know people who either promote shows are workers booker's or whatnot so <hes> so it's going to be four four days of good training <hes> wrestling skill technique <hes> Promo skills interview skills business skills to make money in this business <hes> how to market yourself how to do social media properly tim dozen ice. It's a nice piece on that have had a photograph yourself properly how to put out the proper videos and pictures and <hes> how to frame everything in the best possible light so <hes> so this it's going to be we something that covers quite a bit ground and there's going to be opportunities. Galore and <hes> Matt Hayden Iraqi Mount Pro has as an excellent T._v. product and you'll have a chance to wrestle <hes> on a very well well known <hes> twitch television product and you know they put a lot into it and it's not just thrown together. It's not a public access show. They do a good job and you'll have a chance to really branch out and do more in this business this and I. It's really just a something that'll give you a solid solid foundation <hes> if you're just starting out or if you're kind of in the middle of your journey and it'll give you a good pushing off point to let you know exactly where you need to go next so <hes> and like I said we have <hes> there's the w international opportunities to Chris Silvio our dear friend from Florida. He is the booker of <hes> SASAH AH sewer boys to sell Yano Italian wrestling <hes> I'm sure I butchered that name my apologies to all my Italian friends out there <hes> but Chris is the best s I w yeah and Italy and he also has he's also wrestles quite a bit in the U._k.. And if you can get to Italy you can get around to the U._K.. Flights are very inexpensive and he has he promotes his own shows Florida and has tons of in the southern part of the country Chris has a lot of <hes> connections to and then <hes> Vig and maybe lemons just opened up devotion wrestling and they're doing a show a month and have training school the air and Matt's doing his thing and Al has of course Oh V._W.. W In Louisville Kentucky and we should all wrestle at the Danny Davis arena at least once in our life. I still have not had a chance to do that so I'd love to do that. <hes> and I've I've run shows occasionally and anybody he knows that if you take my seminar you pretty much an open door to come and the guests that my show and I'll do my best to put you on so <hes> you know we really have a ton of opportunities and of course Billy Simmons with the Kansas Wrestling Alliance which is four or five different promotions and can't in the Kansas area <hes> that run quite a few shows so there'll be plenty of opportunity to get yourself books and it'll be a good environment to do it. <hes> you know not a lot of pressure. You won't have to really hand resumes over and do an interview review. You'll have basically at a four day. Try Out to try out for all these companies and see if it's good fit so again there'll be plenty connections plenty of people to wrestle plenty good people to wrestle and a good way to kind of expand your boundaries injuries so right and there's also a trainer is going to be there too. Is that right absolutely of course yes in rocky mount pro premier wrestling organization in in Colorado. I feel like I feel like I feel like it's <hes> <hes> the mercury bring wrestling academy is probably the best best in school within within twelve within twelve hour driving radius <hes>. There's there's no there's no better place than than nursery wrestling academy to get started and no I just WANNA speak from from a perspective for a second two guys that have never gotten the chance for Colorado for still go but he also a key he talked three fifth out loud Macondo those the two guys that the fans are GonNa get super hype about because those guys can go whoever whether they're putting the ring with which it's going to be an awesome match they can wrestle a a kitchen sink that can wrestle a pan or toothbrush and they'd have also match so I wanna see in wrestle toothbrush guests. The business end always always the consent right cool very awesome. Okay Yeah so <hes> is it I go to just on my my. I literally just looked around my apartment and I was naming off things baking Russell well what happens when believes him to by himself in his apartment. Oh Okay yes will flow full is here and she's he's. He's being my adult right now so so she's holding she mutual Owen and Tim at the love of his life in Denver to Iraqi mom. You never know you might find your significant other. They have to with the camp true. That's true you might find another and Bob. Bob will try to hook you up. If he sees a love connection it will try to make it happen so bob so good at everything but I'm good at that actually unspoken as the unspoken part about the hangs with Bob if strike if he if he finds a love connection for you will do everything is power to make it possible. It's true very okay so <hes> not to not to diminish the the super camp but not for the fans people there may be attending these events what you guys have to say about that mean hype up hype up those those events where what's going on there well. This really is really no need to even hide from up the fact that you can see talent from all over the country over the world different people that they've never seen before and some really. I know some of the people that are coming. You know if we have people from North Carolina Collin. We have people from Dallas coming <hes> people from New England coming. I mean Chris. Silvio is a treat to watch while being Congo's retreat to watch <hes> so there's going to be a bunch of different people Tim Tim Victory Dangerous Yup and Timothy I already you know we've already made an open challenge to the tag team champions so we're hoping that'll happen at least once. <hes> you know once that weekend because that's all it will take us to win the titles so you know we're it's Tsk. We've I understand that <hes> Chris Silvio <hes> we've asked him to put the SL W heavyweight championship that the the Italian championship on the line as well so they're gonNA see some different title matches. They're gonNA see some different matchups that they wouldn't see and they're going to get to know some different wrestles from around the country that they're going to become fans of and these some of these guys really are just just need a couple more breaks to to make it and some of them are going to be new guys that are an end girls girls. That are Kinda just getting their start then you know they'll be they'll be while I saw him or her when they first started at this camp and look where they are five years from now so it's going to be a a cool opportunity conaty for fancy new talent and see some of the old town you know the the homegrown talent the Denver town mixed in with people from all over the country and I always think that's kind of neat when you see different it from People Russell different people that they were necessarily wrestle and I think that's that's kind of cool. They developed a good appreciation for each other. You know so right so so then we got so just to spell out so on on Thursday we got the <hes> ignition and charged event at the Jefferson County fairgrounds in Golden <hes> Friday night we have the rocky mountain pro experience and then Saturday we have the event Dan at the Romero's canine club which also happens to be my birthday <hes> right and then and then Sunday is the summit <hes> event and then the also the Hugo's event yeah when I saw you guys a pop up on the Hugo's poster was like a well cool. Is that the first time because you goes yes yes. We're actually doing to at least to lose events <hes> Rachi wrestling for Carlos Galley in Chicago in in on May Fifth Cinco de Mile so were were getting our Lucia fix in. I I've never worked any Lucia. Vada owed their fun Lana Zak though so there and I heard it's blast and Tim and I always looking up our game and Russell different styles and take out different opponents that can make us better so we're just thrilled his hell to make it all work and we're very we're we're very pleased that Hugo made room for us and we're GONNA. We're not gonNA let those fans down and maybe we'll create an awareness of some of the fans that maybe don't attend the Rocky Mountain events and vice versa of what they can. You know what they can Z.. When they check out each other events you know right Tim? Do you have anything to add about that. The vents new weekend any thoughts. The show came five five and on top of on top of the seminar and all that good stuff from I'm super excited. I hope I hope we get to I hope on on Sunday. You goes to Russell a fast paced <hes> Lucia tag team you haven't we haven't got to we haven't got white guy. We've gone to wrestle some fast paced teams but but nothing nothing really of the loose per se like the the Sheer Lucia style and I'd I'd want to. I'd love to have that at the CIA I can't wait. I I can't wait to get my hands on the the rocky mountain pro tacky package <hes>. I'm pretty sure it's like we we're going. We're GONNA make it happen this time. You know so we're GonNa make that would have the titles around our way. Hopefully it'll be one at that Romero's Lafayette it was thirty seven degrees or hopefully. I'm hoping for a nice weather week next week because because it's going to be it's it's hopefully it's not something like that because I know he's all the weather that you guys getting up. There hopefully hopefully but yeah I just Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain. Pro Is my whole <hes>. It's the place where where I got to go a lot of confidence in my song there too. I got to meet somebody dearest friends and and my my lovely girlfriend there and and it's just I'm excited to be back and it started to see I'm excited to see you. We haven't seen since the time you're gonNA brand new legos. It goes inspired <hes> and it's it's it's GonNa be. It's going to be a real good time. Rocky Mountain Pros Murray one of my favorite one of my favorite places in the entire country just because it's it's it's home at in two thousand miles away but Gotcha yeah so tim to let you know I have been looking at the weather because I know the Ramirez outside <hes> but so far it is showing that we're supposed to be in the forties forties and fifties and the day <hes> for the next <hes> weakened or so so and only only ten percent chance of precipitation so I think we might be okay all right. We'll bobby knight might need to bring her. There are two wrestling. It's going to be in the forties so so that's as long as long as it doesn't all right okay yeah I think I think Tim may have some Internet connection issues. He's cutting out just the smidgen there you go ahead and you have met a repeat what you're just you're last part yeah. You're gonNA bring some warmer other gear. <hes> we'll bring our snow suits in case it's it's in the low forties and as long as it doesn't snow or rain. I'm excited for the week it's GonNa be. It's going to be great one awesome okay cool all right well. I really appreciate also coming onto to the podcast this time around but before I let you go if people wanted to if they're not following you on social media The facebooks and the work you guys. Fans Bob Looks for hotel hours on the fun national wrestling life fine hotels with southwest points attached to find rental cars and ways to find shows that are within eight hours thome correct in so okay and for <hes> for Tim this is brutal on Evans and we will see you guys <hes> later on for the exciting <hes> <hes> Rocky Mountain <hes> spanks Bob Super Camp all right all right take care. Everyone loves I think okay I'm back now back. Oh we I skype new to me so I was. I was just saying to you guys. I really appreciate you coming on the show but before let you go or not falling you on social media and I don't know why they wouldn't be tell us tell the listeners were they can find you on the facebook twitter etc.. You can find me <unk> at Timmy on twitter and you can you can follow me on instagram at tough timmy h all won all one word and you can also friendly on facebook. I've only got like fifty. The Friends of friends left the friend me on facebook. I'll be your friend of a friend the guy for <hes> for the next fifty people and other than that. I'm not going to be your friend so that's where that's where you can find or at least not well yeah. I'm on <hes> Bobbins on well. labral Bob Evans on twitter brutal Underscore Gore Bob Underscore Evans instagram but I'm not much of an instagram guy because I'm old guy <hes> and then you can you can find find me on facebook unfortunately won't be able to friend me but you can follow me. <hes> I have a thousand friend requests that I can't get too so <hes> he'd better off following me <hes> and that way you can get my stuff and feel free to message me on their to <hes> we have a hangs with Bob Seminar and an tough-guy page best way to get to that is tough. Guy Ain't dot com <hes> but you can look it up. It'll pop right up if you put tough-guy INC or hangs with Bob seminars usually just pops right up in the search bar so and if there's a pinned calendar up there and he'll tell you where we're going to be and <hes> that reminds me any updated but it's pretty updated so most of the stuff is there so including including Nick West Gates wedding and my daughter's <hes> dance recital so we got all that stuff in there to just. I don't forget myself so all right. I'll kill all right once again. I think you both and I'm so excited to see a in a little bit more than a week. All thank you for having US yeah. Thank you so much drabness APPREC- kid once again a big thank you to tough-guy Inc Brutal Bob Evans and tough Timmy Hughes News for coming onto the podcast for this episode and letting us and all the listeners know about the great event the hangs with Bob Super Camp that is happening on March sh twenty eighth through March thirty first here in Denver Colorado and all of the great associated events and shows that are happening with that as well as the a coaches and agents that are coming from all these different promotions like they had mentioned <hes> you know rocky mountain pro the Kansas City Bill Simmons <hes> you know big man Lemons from a. d. c. w. from devotion <hes> then Congo from our O._H.. Monster Factory Chris Silvio from Lovie W and SL W Italy it's GonNa be a great time so it should be <music> lots and lots of fun. I am excited. I don't know how the wrestlers are going to do it attending these <hes> super camp and seminars and also going to perform perform on the shelves as a fan when I go to this many shows in a row I'm exhausted and I'm just cheering the guys and gals on so <hes> a big Kudos to all of them for doing that so that is in as time this recording a little bit more than a week but I wanted to go ahead and get promoted here so if you are listening and undecided to go I think it is well well worth your time and money to get this level of training and exposure <hes> I was going to say maybe possibly during the interview with Bob and Tim but it this great seeing talent <hes> get into promotions that as a fan getting to see these talent and <hes> one of my biggest ones that I really love and the first time I saw him and I think I've mentioned in this on twitter is the young gun Chandler Hopkins <hes> when I I saw him he I did his <hes> appearance in rocky mountain pro number one is his ring gear has has retire pop to me because I felt like it was a complete package helped his character and then his foundation the wrestling that he had was great and then when he came back and this most recent time and had a killer match probably the match of the night with <hes> Curtis Cole. I thought that was fantastic and I loved seeing him and I told him I want him to come back real soon and if I ever had a chance to go to Texas <hes> and see him in one of his <hes> local promotions one of his promotions that he wrestles more regular basis. I might even and do that so that's one thing to think about as for the wrestlers too in the fan interaction to know keeping your back your mind I would think that this is one of those things things to get that exposure and build up your fan base even from afar you know even though Texas and Colorado are not necessarily too far but every little bit helps I would think so let's switch gears for just a moment mink and do the week in review so this past week on Thursday as you don't we had the rocky mountain pro ignition and charged shows it was great it was us was a little bit of different kind of matches. I thought and different faces here on ignition and chart. I great the writing storylines I thought are just continuing to hit loved loved it and then on this past Saturday we had the second respect women's wrestling show from the Herman's hideaway whatever I attended that and and of course leave abates was back in town. She had a great match with <hes> Bentley Powell and <hes> Heather Monroe was in town as well. It was fantastic I thought and then we had the tail versus tail match the kangaroo versus the cat <hes> seeming lack are hand <hes> Alley Gatto and they had a great match to so and it was also nice to see Bentley just call out alley Goto as I had mentioned before when I interviewed her with Anaya matching that you know Alley Gatto is the standard of Colorado women's professional wrestling and Bentley is now taking an exception to that because she cut as scathing Promo and it looks like her and Allegata will be facing off each other when it comes to volume three the of the respect women's wrestling event coming up next month so well. What else do we got well? Let's look forward to what we have coming up in the near future so this it's Thursday. We have the rocky mountain pro charge ignition. Get your tickets at our M._p.. The scheduled show movie after the wrestling is hot foods fuzz which is another movie. I have not seen yet so Kudos and Rocky Mountain Pro Alamo Draft House. Keep it up showing some movies that I have not seen and there's been a lot of movies I have not seen even though <hes> in my one of my former podcasts that I've done the t t n at the movies with <hes> Migrate Co Host Daisy <hes> we did watch a quite a few movies but there's still some holes in my movie watching experience so if you guys ever need to decide on a movie hit me up you know you guys know where to find me then on Saturday Iron Hills championship wrestling is coming back for their living. The Dream Show on the twenty third from Union station <hes> eight P._M.. Wrestling With Altitude! - Episode 11 - Tough Guy Inc.

"At Farmers Insurance we know a roof can withstand ally one exception being an airborne car seen it covered it click for more under it my arm truck fire insurance exchanges and affiliates products available in every state for welcome back to the wrestling with altitude podcast. I am your host Mr for throw and I'm very excited because I have two of my most favorite people in the world and that is brutal Bob Evans and tough timmy us. They are Tough Guy Inc gentlemen. How are you doing? It's IT'S GREAT TO BE HERE MR fourth row. I'm excited. I'm excited to be here on the podcast that I'm excited. It's we've been we've been trying to connect for awhile in finally we finally lined it all up excited to be here and I'm excited to be in Colorado and see you next a week so can be big time. Yeah we <HES> WE'VE ALREADY TALKED TO MR FIRST ROW MR sector almost a third row so it's about time you talk to this before. Throw just on the list on the list all right so let's <hes> Kinda start off at the beginning <hes>. How did you guys get interested in <hes> professional wrestling? Did you watch it as a youngster <hes> well I I started. I started watching it. When I was with fourteen years old? I watched <hes> I watched wrestlemania twenty two at my friend's house in Mick Foley went got spirit through the flaming table number since then I was I was I was hooked to it so that's got I got in the I got into the local entity scene and became a fan of ring of honor and I was just I ever since then. I just wanted to be a wrestler well. That was tim by the way Bob case doesn't know who we are. I'm Tim yes so oh yeah tim stories a lot different from <hes> mind but <hes> I started watching it when I was <hes> because I'm quite a bit older than Tim so I I started watching it. <hes> in Nineteen eighty-four right when Hogan pipe we're getting big war to settle the score four and all that actually just showed him <hes> the whole special awhile ago <hes> just to show him kind of like what how was like back down so yeah it was cool so nice to go back and visit but that's that's pretty much what got me into it and <hes> started in nineteen ninety two and a little group into Bedford Massachusetts and <hes> been going ever since so and started in ring of honor about nine years ago and I and still make appearances there with Tim sometimes but we've got a branched out and become our own thing our own brand <hes> so now we're not necessarily in any other but any other business except for the tough guy business so <hes> cool all right <hes> so how did <hes> Bob. When did you have like your first match? It wasn't nineteen ninety-two. Did you say yeah I match in April Nineteen ninety-two against the guy named <hes> Bobby Miranda Dan whose unfortunately in a longer with us but <hes> yeah it was <hes> in in that same little mill building in new Bedford Massachusetts and diesel crowd. They're probably hundred fifty two hundred people at the time and <hes> there really wasn't much of an underground scene back then so it was it's kind of like what's happening now. <hes> with they kind of really the only place to go was Kowalski's in Boston and New Bedford. It was about an hour away from Boston and there were guys wanted to wrestle so a couple of journeyman guys Kinda said well. If you get a class together we'll train you and the kind of started their own thing in new Bedford and it's actually still going today. It's called topper opera promotions and they still run <hes> two or three events a month so it's <hes> kind of but that they're Kinda. They were kind of doing the same thing back them is. Just instead of four five groups popping up there was one but it offered a lot out of opportunities to me and several other people so yeah nineteen ninety-two longtime and Tim of how did you get started. How was your first match? Was it like I I started in a started in August two thousand that was my first match rest of the guy named will Wyeth who <hes> he was. He was a journeyman in my area at the time in in New Jersey and it was he was very helpful to me in the beginning running so I started at a place called ace professional wrestling which is still around that still company the they still run monthly shows here New Jersey and <hes> yeah so so I got to take I got to learn from from quite a few different like really talented. Local guys got named Danny Moth from Azriel and a guy named EC Negro. Who's WHO's always been there for me in a Lotta ways they really they really helped me out in in the beginning before I I I started before I trained at the monster factory and the are wage? Joe Is well right and <hes> do you guys every chance to go back and <hes> in Russell those for those promotions and if so what was what's that like <hes> I'll speak I <hes> the we've gotten to haven't done to wrestle for that promotion in quite some time but but I've gotten to wrestle for promotions in the surrounding area with a lot of similar guys and they're always everybody's everybody's super supportive of May. It's it's really it's really cool. It's really cool thing. <hes> everybody like super proud of what I'm doing gin to travel all over the country getting to learn this great eight business with with Bob. It's it's it's just been an incredible journey so so as far as when when I'm back in in the New Jersey Area Wrestling New York New Jersey area everybody is very super supportive in very happy that that that I've gotten to branch out and see the world in Yeah I've <hes> I still go back to top row. Promotions probably not as much as I'd like to because we're booked in other places but <hes> you know I'd say several times a year three or four times maybe more <hes> that they have very good <hes> base there and they're really turn out a lot of good talent. That's where <hes> T._K._O.. Paul Ryan Vinnie Marcel <hes> that's where those guys have come from and his is a gentleman <hes> A._G.. Anthony Green who's making a lot of waves. He got his break there. <hes> so it's nice to see the next general actually it's two generations now <hes> doing a lot of that were <hes> I've actually made it a gold first half of the year and have reached back to some of the quote Unquote Lesser Leagues. Tim's helped me with this <hes> in New England <hes> because that's really what kind of benefited me back in two thousand nine when I decided to close my school and Kinda just become a roving instructor I I tried to go where I was needed. The most and the top promotions in New England really are some of the elite promotions in the country so they're they're pretty set <hes> not that I wouldn't not that they wouldn't welcome visit but I think it can be a little bit more helpful in the in the lower groups kind of like a ball you know kind and instead of AAA ball so <hes> just going to visit with them and I'm actually working for a couple of groups and Tim Abi helped me on that in the next few months. Excuse me but yeah I I try to get. I've have really this is probably the most I've done in New England in several years so it's it's nice to take a break in Kinda. You know this impersonal stuff going on. Don't worry everybody. I'm fine but you know this is the personal stuff going on that makes it easier for me to be a little closer to home and I'm enjoying it because after hitting the road hard for thirty six straight months it was nice to Kinda just relaxed and have a few moments where you could have to drive a thousand miles on weekend Gotcha all right and so. How did you guys meet? Tell us about that. Well I yeah I met I met Bob at at the the monster factory when I was when I was a student there <hes> and I actually took his seminar so which is which is quite fitting <hes> yeah so I I I got to learn from him that day. I he agreed eighteen sixty minute Max with me. That still hasn't happened that will happen. One day and Monday will happen and <hes> but but yeah it was <hes> I got to I got to learn learned from him and then and then through that <hes> through the are wage seminars in through other seminars and stuff like that I really got to get to work with him in and get to know him in we quit as a team and and that's it Kinda Kinda moved forward from there so an Imbaba you have anything to add a from the instructor flight. No it was <hes> I felt like <hes> <hes> Nice Kid I met along the way and <hes> I felt like he was getting Kinda. Short shrift that day <hes> Danny cages dear friend of mine and he certainly wasn't trying to this is a lot of people that day which was good you know as blessed to have a lot of people there <hes> but I felt like Tim wasn't getting the individual attention you needed and I kind of just took a liking to him because Tim's Kinda Awkward Goofy and the kind of reminded me a little bit of myself back in the day so it's kind of charming and I you know he he <hes> you you know I kinda liked him right away so and could tell he was maybe a little bit behind athletically with some of the other guys but I felt like he you know he never gave up and he always wanted to learn and had good questions and things like that and then I said said let me Russell Russell Tim for an hour and Danny's Oh we don't have time for that. I said well I'll wrestle on the floor and I think we got what we have about seventeen minutes in seventeen minutes in house like Russell Russell. I'm on the Amateur Matt's for an hour I don't care and we got about seventeen edits in and just kinda and I think we bonded on that moment and <hes> I think Tim was happy just to have someone who was you know not not willing to give up on them and you know because Danny was doing a good job with them but there's always that you know sometimes sometimes times takes an extra person to command and kind of confirm all the things that <hes> Danny cage had to say and so and then we be Tim had been still been struggling. I think Tim will be able to talk to this little bit more but <hes> went to the ring of Honor Seminar and I think he was looking for something and found it because they you know people people say we resemble each other kind of like only in our Anderson do where he kind of looks like my son nephew or my little oh brother or whatever so kinda picked on us about it and you know Tim was just going into the flow. I kinda fought it for about half a day and then I said you know what maybe this is a way to refresh myself after the cheeseburger feud was over <hes> that's cheeseburger Bringham honor. I wasn't fighting sandwiches food fight and then yeah so then it was <hes> and it was just a way to Kinda. Get another hook. You know like Tony Sherwani says his podcast jess you need a hook and and this was a way to get hook and get another young guy and help another young guy along which I love to do and Kinda make myself <hes> current again so and <hes> I feel like we never really really achieved the potential <hes> Doodo a bunch of different circumstances. I'm not bitter complaining about it. It's just these things happen and <hes> but we there was a time when we really wanted to start teaming being regularly and ring of honor was an offering those chances and we love ring of honor and we have nothing bad say about him but it was time to kind of you know look you know a referring Ahmad is running fifty days a year that leaves three hundred fifteen days on the schedules to let's try to fill some of those days and we just made a kept our weekends full and both made a serious commitment to this team and I've never had someone so committed and serious to me aside from maybe my family and my wife so <hes> so it. He's he's not a great job. <hes> you know we that's how the team formed you know three three and a half years ago and then we got super serious about it in September Twenty Fifteen Tim Twenty sixteen twenty sixty so it was and then we so you know here we are two two and a half years later hundreds of matches team now and it's really been a quite a ride quite a ride and it's been it's fun. We've been in gun to wrestling thirty seven states <unk> seminars all over the country three provinces of Canada together so it's just thousands upon thousands upon thousands of miles on a car in a in a Boston clean in a boat yep in a boat Yup so it's just been it's been a good. It's been a some. It's been some of the best years of my life that has been the best years of my life not some the best jobs in my life this past this past specifically two years have been the best years of my life so and okay so you're just were mentioning about all these modes of transportation did I did. I remember seeing something out author that you guys are still looking for different ways to travel to events when it comes with transportation trying to get them all often the checklist oh yeah yeah. We're we last year last year we did. We did about a train a box a plane yet so I mean if somebody wants to lend us out there captor jetpack or <hes> or hovercraft <hes>. We'd we'd we'd like to borrow them because we need. We need to get their manny. We need to get the wrestling as many ways as possible to show people how possible it is just whatever whatever whatever your means you gotta just get to you. GotTa get to wrestling no matter what we gotta do. The draw do flights yet overrides trae. Whatever yeah wherever wherever wherever we'll take a throw fling with most ago yeah we'd love to use it so cool all right so <hes> kind of one of the main reasons why I got you guys on is because we are talking about seminars so that's actually talk about <hes> Bob? How did you <hes> start with this idea of the <hes> doing these seminars that hangs with bombs some ours I mean what was that like well? It started doing some seminars <hes> anyway because I was I I was feeling pretty confident about it. Once ring of honor started using me for their seminars and it really helped me and I also was part of a team that included delirious awesome my goodness Jerry Lynn Christopher Daniels Briscoes Adam Cole Jay Lethal Kevin Kelly Rabbani I mean just just tons and tons tops and Claire Tons and tons of great wrestling minds that could a pass along their knowledge and I learned a whole bunch of teaching styles. <hes> and I realized Kinda that I knew what I was talking about which was really very I mean I'd run for ten years and everybody was pretty decent so I knew I knew something but it's nice to have that national confirmation so I just started branching out and saying hey if people want people want to use me seminars. Go ahead and you know I started doing some small seminars. Just AIDS ought to get a bunch guys to work out everybody throwing twenty bucks and you know no no doesn't have to be fancy but if you just want to get a workout in and so I did that for a couple of years and just very informal and then thanks with Bob Concept was formed when I was sitting on my porch and I I just had noticed that I took pictures of the bunch of people and they and they were all kind of doing well for themselves and they were all head getting major deal so I basically tongue-in-cheek jokingly took credit for it. You know hangs with Bob goes to annexed. He exit. Bob Goes to Japan hangs with Bob goes to W W you know that type of thing so it kind of just and then I said well hey that's kind of a it's kind of a neat name for a seminar anyway because I always hated the names I mean I don't I use it all the time but I don't really like that because I don't think it really big seminars can be kinda cold and calculated and <hes> I really one thing I learned earned was what to do and another thing I learned is what not to do by some of these trainers mocking to mention but I felt like there was a there was a negative a lot of negative stuff going on where it was old. Guys is just yelling at you and holding over your head that you didn't have knowledge and really just making it an outlet for their own insecurities and I didn't feel like I was the right way to do it so I said well. Let's just making a head and come hang with me. Come hang out. We'll learn some stuff will will. It'll be a fairly relaxed environment. It'll be fun be motivational. It'll be uplifting you'll feel good about. It may even shed a tear. You'd laugh a lot at trying to make fun and and you know but we work real hard to and and I get people think in and I get people thinking about how they can. You know Kinda. Make a couple of bucks in this business you know so they can justify a wife on their husband or they're the jerk at work. WHO WHEN YOU'RE GONNA make some money at this you know so I just kinda and I figured out kind of kind of all the questions that I wanted the seminar I mean it's all in teach people do hip tosses and all that stuff and that's no? It's all that stuff necessary but the biggest thing you can do is teach these kids how to kind of become a business it's on their own so and I met Matt Hayden from Rocky Mount Bro at a roaring of honor seminar and he was really impressed because I took the time to you know work with him off to the side side and you know just kind of spent extra time with them and he said well. Hey you know we'd love to have you come in for seminar and I thought he was just kind of paying lip-service and then he was really like he pushed it hard. He kept following up. Hey I want to bring you in. I don't want to bring you in and I said Okay you know and Matt was one of the first guys who really believed in me. That's why I'm I'm. I'm proud to call rocky mountain pro one of my homes and this is one of the reasons why wouldn't here you know Matt was one of the first people to instill confidence in me and I tell tell tell people all the time if it wasn't for that I don't know if I would have gotten to where I am today so mets done a great job not only lifting up his own people but you know he helped me realize my potential too so I'm very grateful. which is you know why we're doing the big camp at his place? You know the biggest one I've ever done and <hes> and Tim so you're now you're helping to now with the <hes> hangs with Bob as well. You know an and doing some teaching instructing yeah yeah I mean I feel like I feel like my role is is is kind of the the generation like connector because I feel like I've not too far are removed from from the point when I was like completely clueless on on how to do wrestling on where to go and how to you know how to meet people how to you know how to you didn't sell merchandiser or <hes> even wrestling match. You know I'm not I feel like I'm not super far removed from the China. I can relate in in a way that helps them understand and I think I'd bring I think I'd bring a unique perspective to the table as as well and made slightly slightly different one than Bob's even though Bob is the master at what he does is like the best of the best of all at in in my in my personal opinion. He's the best of all time when it comes to going seminars when it comes to when it comes to doing that but I feel like I had a little flavor feel ah the play by play guy he can. He does all the nuts and bolts business. He does all that stuff. I feel like I committed in the nerves the colored I add a little bit of flavor her to to the seminar to help the the younger guys entered the pay a broader picture. I gotcha cool all right so <hes> then there's GonNa ask also choose so <hes> bobby. We're talking about. Oh yeah you know like one of the things one of the things I've been great for his people just kind of go yeah. I've taken a Bob Seminar before and that's pretty much attributed to me so I've managed to kind of make the Bob thing <hes> kind of my own shoe which is great and the fact that I'm the most prolific seminar guy ever cousin hurt because I go into these little small towns and you know Tim and I are driving. I've never heard of this town. Where are we I don't know and then they'll be tour people there? You know I was I was telling Tim about <hes> of an and I said yeah we're going into the show that they call these guys backyard is on the knock them and to show that knocks them draws a hundred in the show that supposedly has all the quote unquote background is in it has four hundred and they sell out every show so oh I just we we laugh at this because you know one of the things that is good about being a national guy in Timmel Tim Tim this is one attempts. I think favorite parts of it is you. You just don't get you just don't get buried read into all the local drama because you just do your thing and move on and we always try to leave places better than how we found him so we're not we're not burning towns to the ground when we were actually planting seeds for the future but I mean that's that's one of the things teams that I one of things. That's helped up becoming a national guy as your national guy so you don't get stuck in all the local indie politics and all the this guy said I can't work here and this guy doesn't want anybody in his town and you know this one sleep with this one and it's just it turns into just a very difficult situation to be involved in so it's one of the things that helped helped us out a lot. What would the branding and the become a national thing as you can just move on the everybody's friend kind of move on right okay so <hes> maybe this might be a question about planting those seeds? I would guess maybe some of your favorite things that you've seen <hes> outcome from these seminars is and I think I've seen it just in this case for example in Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> we've seen people that have been introduced like your seminars in Maine introductions and people have moved across the country to go join other promotions. I mean I mean is that. Is that the case in my thinking that's correctly and if so what's that like to see that more people now done this is now flourished while we've we so you know we we we do what we can do to make things better and one of the things again. It's Kinda. The it's kind of another byproduct of being the whole national thing is sometimes you show these people how silly some politics are so. We've managed to vanish to heal not heal because that's very strong but we managed to help facilitate a lot of the groups in Quebec Canada get along now in a lot of work together now and they all are very good at promoting shows and they're all good at drawing so now the drawing great even even bigger houses because they're working together and Kansas has Billie Simmons and billy. It'll be a part of our seminar Thursday Friday. Billie Really Simmons has done a great job of uniting Kansas wrestling and now there's five or six groups that are part of his alliance and it's not collusion or anything. It's just hey you run this weekend and we'll run into a couple two weeks and these other guys. It's Kinda just the hey let's not. Let's not run against each other. Let's use a lot of the same talent. Let's move everybody around and let's get these guys more work. <hes> and I've seen I've seen that a lot. I've seen I've I've seen people go to Matt's <hes> a lot to Matt's even like there. I sent people that's all the time can even now I mean even like examples of like guys that have that have moved to Colorado because of the opportunities that are happening there like like that Lad Bala shops. I got that I got that correctly and Chango. Those are two guys who moved from completely different parts of the country Chicago moved from Seattle Labs Moats from North Carolina and and really just like made rocky mountain pro their home really embraced the Colorado like the whole state in in the Colorado wrestling seen in really flourished out there. That's a mean I feel I feel often two guys that that the that have attended the seminars in decided did they wanted better for them so I really I really doing well right now and that was that was actually to people that were a top of my mind. Because of course I know them very well <hes> being in the same same area and see them every week so uh-huh and then there's been a on top of that there's been plenty of guys that have objected seminars that because because Matt Hayden he was he was a coach at at the first. Thanks Bob Super Camps so a lot of guys that attended the first tangled things with Bob. Super can't dot to make many many appearances in rocky mountain pro so it's it's just been it's been super in cool to see that aspect of it to like those guys kind of flourishing in like some really cool like places around the country like Ryan mountain pro or you know it's just that's that's been that's when one of the most rewarding parts about it is seeing seeing those guys really like go after it and you know move move their families and move them you know in upper lives to to go after to go after what they want what they really want like cool. That's that's awesome to see all right so okay so we've been kind of tiptoeing about around it but let's go and talk about it now so <hes> we are having <hes> this coming up here very soon in Colorado area. We're having enough. I'm not if I'm not mistaken. This is the biggest super camp ever that <hes> as ever been held for you guys think so. Oh Yeah I would say so all right. We'll tell US listeners about it. What's what's happening? What's going on in the dates and everything while to March march twenty eighth <hes> thirty the thirty first through Sunday March thirty first and <hes> were invited anybody from around the world to come and it's three hundred dollars and but it's three hundred dollars in my opinion well-spent because is you're GonNa get used on at least two out of the five events that are that weekend <hes> Rocky Mountain Pro S. four events and Hugo's Lucia libra has one and they've <hes> been kind enough to offer a few select openings and we'll be working <hes> that event but <hes> a few select openings to their <hes> group as well and <hes> so you have a shot really at all five shows? I don't think we're not we're not guaranteeing that by any means were guaranteed at least two out of the four so <hes> we've also figured it out with Billy Simmons come in with Chris Silvio common with Matt Jaden. We also have mania lemons and big coming. <hes> How snow from Oh V._W.. And they just announced that they have <hes> re renew their agreement with wrestling <hes> Stevie Richards I mean you can I think before Al's Al's <hes> <hes> announcement I think we were one hundred nine possible hundred ninety two bookings so now that's gotta be well over two hundred now because Oh v._w.. Runs every week TV every week on Wednesday and then they run Saturday night special so that sixty shows at least so so you have the potential booked on two hundred and fifty shows now. You're probably not GONNA get booked on two hundred fifty shows a lot but <hes> but you have a chance to meet <hes> five or six different promoters from five or six different parts of the country and I and in this business once you go to one show and you kind of branch out and meet people and Network and prove that you're good person usually there's two or three promoters that every every event at at the event I was on the event we were on last week. It were two or three different promoters Tim. Would you say I mean there's always to drink promoters yet. At Net at shows you know people who either promote shows or work as booker's or whatnot so <hes> so it's going to be four four days of good training <hes> wrestling skill technique <hes> Promo skills interview skills business skills how to make money in this business. <hes> had a market yourself how to do social media properly. Tim Does Nice. It's a nice piece on that have photograph yourself properly how to put out the proper videos and pictures and <hes> how to frame everything in the best possible light so <hes> so this. It's going to be see something that covers quite a bit ground and there's going to be opportunities. Galore and <hes> Matt Hayden Iraqi MON PRO has as an excellent T._v. product and you'll have a chance to wrestle <hes> on a very well well known <hes> twitch television product and you know they put a lot into it and it's not just thrown together. It's not a public access show. They do a good job and you'll have a chance to really branch out and do more in this business this and I. It's really just a something that'll give you a solid solid foundation <hes> if you're just starting out or if you're kind of in the middle of your journey and it'll give you a good pushing off point to let you know exactly where you need to go next so <hes> and like I said we have <hes> the W international opportunities to Chris Silvio our dear friend from Florida he is the booker of <hes> Sasah <hes> sewer boys to sell Yano Italian wrestling <hes>. I'm sure I butchered that name my apologies to all my Italian friends out there <hes> but Chris is the best s I w yeah and Italy and he also has he's also wrestles quite a bit in the U._k.. And if you can get to Italy you can get around to the U._K.. Flights are very inexpensive and he has he promoted his own shows Florida and has tons of in the southern part of the country Chris has a lot of <hes> connections to and then <hes> Vig and many lemons just opened up devotion wrestling and they're doing a show a month and have training school the air and Matt's doing his thing and Al has of course over U._W.. W In Louisville Kentucky and we should all wrestle at the Danny Davis arena at least once in our life. I still have not had a chance to do that so I'd love to do that. <hes> and I've I've run shows occasionally and anybody he knows that if you take my seminar you pretty much an open door to come and the guest that my show and I'll do my best to put you on so <hes> you know we really have a ton of opportunities and of course Billy Simmons with Kansas Wrestling Alliance which is four or five different promotions in can in the Kansas area <hes> that run quite a few shows so they'll be plenty of opportunity to get yourself books and it'll be a good environment to do it. <hes> you know not a lot of pressure. You won't have to really hand resumes over and do an interview review. You'll have basically at a four day. Try Out to try out for all these companies and see if it's good fit so again there'll be plenty connections plenty of people to wrestle plenty good people wrestle and a good way to kind of expand. Your boundaries offers so right and there's also a trainer is going to be there too. Is that right absolutely of course yes in rocky mount pro the premier wrestling organizations in the in Colorado. I feel like I feel like I feel like it's <hes> <hes> the mercury bring wrestling academy is probably the best Muslim school within within a twelve within twelve hour driving a radius <hes>. There's there's no there's no better place than than nursery wrestling academy to to get started and no I just WANNA speak from from a perspective for a second the guys that have never gotten the chance to Colorado Taco for still deal but he also a key he talked three out loud Macondo those the two guys that the fans are GonNa get super hyped about because those guys can go whoever they're putting the ring with which it's going to be an awesome match they can wrestle a the kitchen sink that can wrestle a pan or toothbrush and they'd have also match so I wanna see in Russell a toothbrush business end always always the visit sent right cool very awesome. Okay yeah so is it I going to just just on my my. I literally just looked around my apartment and I was naming off things baking rexel what happens when believes him to by himself in his apartment. Okay we'll flow full is here and she's is. He's he's being my adult right now so so she's holding mutual Owen and Tim at the love of his life in Denver to Iraqi mom. You never know you might find your significant other. They have to with the camp true. That's true you might you may find another and Bob. Bob will try to hook you up if he sees a love connection in we'll try to make it happen so so so good at everything but I'm good at that actually unspoken as the unspoken part about the hangs with Bob if's right if he if he finds connections for you will do everything is power to make it possible. It's true very cool okay so not to <hes> not to diminish the the super camp but not for the fans people that may be attending these events when you guys have to say about that I mean hype up high up those those events witty what's going on there well. This really is really no need to even hide from up the fact that you can see talent from all over the country all over the world different people that they've never seen before and some really. I know some of the people that are coming. You know if we have people from North Carolina Collin. We have people from Dallas coming <hes> people from New England coming. I mean Chris. Silvio is a treat to watch while being Congo's retreat to watch <hes> so there's going to be a bunch of different people tim Tim Victor Interest Yup and timid. I have already you know we've already made an open challenge to the TAG team champions so we're hoping that'll happen at least once. <hes> you know once that weekend because that's all it will take for us to win the titles so you know we're it's risk and I understand that <hes> Chris Silvio <hes> we've asked him to put the SL W <hes> heavyweight championship the the Italian championship on the line as well so they're gonNA see some different title matches. They're going to see some different matchups that they wouldn't see and they're going to get to know some different wrestles from around the country that they're going to become fans of these. Some of these guys really are just just need a couple more breaks to to make it and some of them are going to be new guys. That are an end girls girls. That are Kinda just getting their start then you know they'll be they'll be while I saw him or her when they first started at this camp and look where they are five years from now so it's going to be a a cool opportunity immunity for fancy new talent and see some of the old town you know the the homegrown town the Denver town mixed in with people from all of the country and I always think that's Kinda neat when you see different it from people wrestled different people that they were necessarily wrestle and I think that's that's kind of cool. They develop good appreciation for each other. You know so right so so then we got so just to spell it out so on Thursday we got the <hes> ignition and charged event at the Jefferson County fairgrounds in Golden <hes> Friday night we have the rocky mountain pro experience and then Saturday we have the event can't at the Romero's Canine club which also happens to be my birthday <hes> right and then and then Sunday is the summit <hes> event and then also the Hugo's event yeah when I saw you guys <hes> pop up on the Hugo's post are was like a well cool is that the first time he goes goes yes yes we're actually doing to at least to lose events <hes> Rachi wrestling for Carlos Galley in Chicago in in in on May Fifth Cinco de Mile so were were getting our Lucia fix in. I I've never worked any Lucia VADSOE heard they're fun on exacto so there and I heard it's blast and Tim and I always looking up our game and Russell different styles and take out different opponents that can make us better so we're just thrilled his hell the to make it all work and we're very we're we're very pleased that Hugo made room for us and we're GONNA. We're not gonNA let those fans down and maybe we'll create an awareness of some of the fans that maybe don't attend the Rocky Mountain events and vice versa of what they can you know what they can see when they check out each other events you know right Tim. Do you have anything to add about that the weekend any thoughts the show people five this and on top of on top of the seminar and all that good stuff on I'm super excited. I hope I hope we get to I hope on on Sunday. He goes to Russell fast paced <hes> Lucia tag team you haven't we haven't got to we haven't got quite yet. We've got some fast paced teams but but nothing nothing really of the Lucia per se like the the Sheer Lucia style and I'd I'd love to I'd love to have that at the CIA I can't wait. Thank you so much sadness at <unk> kid once again a big thank you to tough-guy Inc Brutal Bob Evans and tough Tim Hughes News for coming onto the podcast for this episode and letting us and all the listeners know about the great event the hangs with Bob Super Camp that is happening on March the twenty eighth through March thirty first here in Denver Colorado and all of the great associated events and shows that are happening with that as well as the a coaches and agents that are coming from all these different promotions like they had mentioned <hes> Rocky mountain pro the Kansas City <hes> Bill Simmons <hes> you know big man lemons from D._C.. W from devotion and then Congo from our O._H.. Monster Factory Chris Silvio from Lovie W and SL W Italy it's GonNa be a great time so it should be <music> lots and lots of fun. I am excited. I don't know how the wrestlers are going to do it attending these <hes> super camp and seminars and also going to perform perform on the shelves as a fan when I go to this many shows in a row I'm exhausted and I'm just cheering the guys and gals on so <hes> a big Kudos to all of them for doing that so that is in as time this recording a little bit more than a week but I wanted to go ahead and get promoted here so if you are listening and undecided to go I think it as well well worth your time and money to get this level of training and exposure <hes> I was going to say maybe possibly during the interview with Bob and Tim but it is great seeing talent <hes> get into promotions that as a fan getting to see these talent and <hes> one of my biggest ones that I really love and the first time I saw him and I think I've mentioned in this on twitter is the young gun Chandler Hopkins <hes> when I I saw him he I did his <hes> appearance in rocky mountain pro number one is his ring gear his ringer tire pop to me because I felt like it was a complete package. It helped his character and then his foundation the wrestling that he had was great and then when he came back and this most recent time and had a killer match probably the match of the night with <hes> Curtis Cole. I thought that was fantastic and I loved seeing him and I told him I want him to come back real soon and if I ever had a chance to go to Texas <hes> and see him in one of his <hes> local promotions one of his promotions that he wrestles <hes> more regular basis. I might even and do that so that's one thing to think about as for the wrestlers too in the fan interaction to know keeping your back your mind I would think that this is one of those things things to get that exposure and build up your fan base even from afar you know even though Texas and Colorado are not necessarily too far but every little bit helps I think so let's switch gears for just a moment went and do the week in review so this past week on Thursday as you don't we had the rocky mountain pro ignition and charged shows it was great. It was us a little bit of different kind of matches. I thought and different faces here on ignition and and chart I great the writing storylines I thought are just continuing to hit loved loved it and then on this past Saturday we had the second respect women's wrestling show from hearn's hideaway too. I attended that and and of course leave abates was back in town. She had a great match with <hes> Bentley Powell and <hes> Heather Monroe was in town as well. It was fantastic I thought and then we had the <hes> tail versus tail match the king ru versus the cat <hes> seeming lack art hand <hes> Alley Gatto and they had a great match to so and it was also nice to see Bentley just call out Alley Gato as I mentioned before and when I interviewed her with Anaya matching that you know Alley Gatto is the standard of Colorado women's professional wrestling and Bentley is now taking an exception to that because she cut as scathing Promo and it looks like her and Allegata will be facing off each other when it comes to volume three the of the respect women's wrestling event coming up next month so well. What else do we got well? Let's look forward to what we have coming up in the near future so this Thursday we have the rocky mountain pro charged ignition. Get your tickets at our M._p.. I'm your host Mr Fourth Row and today on this episode of the W._W.. A podcast I have the fans addiction Lonnie Valdez Lonnie. How are you doing? I'm doing pretty good man. How are you how's your not going? I it's going well. I you know spring is happening so I'm finally glad to have a little bit of the warmer weather. Oh yeah absolutely madam always more of a summer boy than a winter boy so yeah. I'm quite happy about that as well all right. We'll so hey let's <hes> I'm so glad to have you on the podcast this this week take so. Let's start at the beginning. How did you get interested in in professional wrestling? Did you watch it as a youngster yeah. I've been been pretty much watching wrestling my whole life. <hes> my family was doing a little bit of like local wrestling out here like more kind of a outlawed territory kind of indy wrestling <hes> Michael did it out here and there never anything big or national or anything like that they just did it like very locally so I grew up around them. They always showed it to me so when it came time when I was eighteen <hes> I've been in martial arts for a long time so when I turned eighteen and got out of high school. My mom asked me she was like are you going to be a wrestler or boxer shouldn't really ask me if I was GonNa go to college or anything that she she does a wrestler-boxer so I I chose wrestling and you know <hes> went down to a Dory funk junior school down in Florida started training and then came back out here and started taking bookings awesome awesome all right so you're family kind of already had a career path in mind for you then yet they just kind of I think <hes> especially my mom she she kind of knew what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go in she was just there to support me. She just very much <hes> I had my back on that one <hes> you know arranged for me to go down to Florida and started doing that down there and then came back out here went back went to eventually and then <hes> just started taking bookings and been wrestling out here ever since and this year and this year in August August fifteenth. It'll be twenty years that I've been doing this. Oh well cool well congratulations on the upcoming anniversary. Thanks Man Yeah it's been it's been a very fun very long road yeah for sure all right so did so did your family <hes> since it was kind of a family business. Did they kind of <hes> influence you when you were did I mean did you. Were you watching the the product on on television <hes> when you were younger. Do you know where you watching the W._w._f.. The W._C._W.. Maybe even the AWA bound yeah yeah yeah when all is smaller <hes> like I never actually got to see my family Russell like I said they did it very locally and only for a very short time but they had really good memories memories of it so they <hes> my own coal in one of my aunts. I think my aunt had like three matches. My uncle probably due for two years so it wasn't like it was a big huge deal but listen to them talk about it was kind of a big deal especially when like four or five years old well you know <hes> but so I never actually got to see them do it. They did it even before I remember that but yeah I grew up watching W._W._e.. Awa 'cause like Nick Block winkle in the margin in Shawn Michaels goes down there in the in the Awa. This was very much native your territory so I actually didn't really even watch stand W. A. or or W._C._W.. Until I was like a teenager right okay and who were some of your favorites to watch grownup like you know when I was that young violently like you know guys like Macho Man Randy Savage Hulk Hogan the big the you know the top guys obviously and then <hes> but when I became a teenager I really became like obsessed with the cruiserweight style especially like Japanese protests who you know <hes> Super J Cup nineteen ninety four guys like a Ultimo dragon was a huge influence on my style al which is where a lot of Ki Moon salts come from you know Eddie Guerrero de Milenko Minister Junior <hes> Otani juiston thunder Liger cray sauce gay like all those guys if if you look at one thousand nine hundred Super Jacob Than Tyrod Taylor is pretty much kind of kind of influenced my style and who really made me want to become a pro wrestler and getting up there so <hes> yeah I really became a huge fan of like the the cruiserweight style and mainly protests Asu like a new Japan junior heavyweights and the all Japan you know heavyweights in in the nineties those guys that really kind of like turn my head and made me want to do this not just watch it but made me want to go out and do it okay all right well. I can definitely see I can definitely see the Ultimo dragon in your repertoire from watching U._S.. Like and I can see how that influenced you and I think I think you almost have a parallel. If I can take the <hes> the time to say so well thank you I take that as a very big compliment like I said a those guys were always just wants his own Dragon Ultimo dragon style kind of fit but like I've honestly stole a little bit it from all of those guys you know as snaps flexes now suplexes from Ben Wine <hes> a couple of different moves from D Milenko in you know in you know Ray Eddie and just that whole group I've Kinda modified them kind of made a my own especially after doing it for twenty years you know you kind of make your own but <hes> while nearly twenty years but yeah pretty much debt group a not a duct that group wrestlers at that time has pretty much by got everything from even guys from like Tori Amman or a dragon gate or whatever you WanNa call it like a guys like <hes> Shema and you know <hes> you know dragging kid and all those guys that's those were really like big influences on my style and so <hes> you talked about now. Were you started your training so let's talk about your first match who was against in. What was it like any nerves or any of that kind of stuff happening? Oh Yeah I was always insanely. Nervous on there was a tag team match it. It was me and this Guy Adam Windsor against <hes> this Guy Jeremy jet in H C low canoeist for it was for Dory funk he put on a little show in Uncle Tokala and we also that at night and we got you know got broken in got. The hell beat out of us like like is pretty common for rookies but we ended up winning. We ended up going over in the main event that night. We had a a battle royal and <hes> actually leader <hes> W._W._e.. Hall of Famer Lido she ended up winning the battle oil that night so it was a it was a pretty cool pretty cool experience for from maybe fresh eighteen years old to be in their N._B._A.. It will see all the youngest I did. Oh Wow that is very very cool so <hes> so far in your wrestling career. Have you had any real memorable. Moments are brushes with the greatness I I think i. I think I saw that you have but let's let's talk this the listeners about that yeah. I've been very fortunate to wrestle some some of the best guys out there like you know when everybody remembers his <hes> I fought I wrestled seth rollins unsuited for your Seth Rollins Tyler blackout here in out here in Denver <hes> Joey Ryan as well you know recently. I've been able to wrestle quite a few. <hes> you know. Super talented insanely talented guys D._J.. <hes> Zima I on just got signed as W._W._e.. Me In him and Caleb crush just a couple years ago. We got to have just an insanely fund match for which Lebron Laughs <hes> you know <hes> Colt Cabana like only real fun guys that are just really really good at what they do is always always a pleasure to work with them. A ton of super talented guys down in Florida. You Know Dory funk junior. He kind of attracts he kind of attract some attention so you know he's always got you know different front of stars coming through guys you know another hall of Famer like Carlos Cologne came down there. He brought Eddie Cologne who everybody knows his premo Cologne in the W._W._e.. I got to train with him for a second in other said after after that after so long you just Kinda meet all these different people in to get to see how a cooler guys they are not only in the rain but out of the ring. It's pretty cool when you think about it. I don't even really think about it too much anymore but yeah I've actually we got to be in the ring with some very very talented guys and you know kind of blessed to do so to be honest. Oh cool cool okay well now. Speaking of not thinking about things I just have kind of an oddball question. Lucia Lebron laughs as I I have mentioned on the podcasts before has their ring up on a stage and so it is even higher than <hes> the floor. Is You know from the top rope to the floor and you do some crazy <hes> moves off the top rope. Do you ever get scared because of the little bit farther than the average height from the top rope to the floor he just Kinda. Go go at it and just kind of trust your opponents to be there to hit him with the move. <hes> you know I it sounds. It sounds crazy in. I'm not trying to be Taco or bad house or anything like that but every time I've done insults are jumped off those ring off that ring <hes>. I've never once been scared to do it <hes> so I think if I was scared it would stop me cold so I don't even think about it. I just kind of do it but it's not like it's a it's not really something I'm afraid of and so far so good nothing bad has ever happened but uh throughout Lucia labour in Laos kind of turn that entire you know the Oriental Theatre Kinda turned to my giant playground on pretty much jumped in flip a building at this point <hes> but it's it's worth it the especially for that particular crowd in how fun name and Help Fund A._R.. It makes you want to do more and more for them 'cause they're. You know they're reductionist so great. You know it gives you such a energy like such an adrenaline rush that had you know I I will never mind. Doing you know silly crazy stuff for those guys 'cause the the locker room is always great. The <hes> promoters is a really good guy. Don't ever tell them I said uh-huh but all in all young man upturn that blaze inside out and done some you know jumped off and back with some really really crazy stuff but it's always been for the betterment of the show and you know I never mind doing it. It's just a if I could add it to it. I will it is that by any chance of where the moniker the fans addiction came from was from that promotion. No no that came from a that came from a long time ago and honestly it was a it was a joke has started off as a joke <unk>. 'cause I used to be a D._J.. At a particular club I won't say the name of it but it was a it was a gentlemen's Club and one night when I was watching a Jane's addiction came in with Dave Navarro they all came in they were partying having a good time and got to actually interact with Dave Navarro and everything like that and like talk to them is just an insanely cool guy <hes> who took me very well and so that night we were joking around and I was wrestling at the time in one of my friends at the thing said <hes> you know those guys Jane's addiction your professional routes around here. You must be the fans addiction and I thought he it was really funny and I liked it so much that I started using it and just kind of stuck in you know I thought it was unique. I hadn't heard it before so I thought it was a coal a coal thing and be truth be honest. I can't even remember that one guy's name but I thought I was lying. Oh Oh very cool. I like it. That's that's a good story all right so <hes> before we <hes> got officially interviewing here. You had told me that <hes> you actually have been I'm doing you did some training in your career as well. Tell us about that. Yeah honestly <hes> out of all the things I've done. That's fine stuff. I'm most proud of like the friends and family that I've actually been able to train you know the I think the most successful one out of every guy I've trained so far is probably Roy Cizek you know he's out in California and out on the East Coast and pretty much everywhere right now pretty much winning retitled that isn't tied down. You know he's doing fantastic all over the place right now. He's Russell D._D.. In Japan he's you know you know all kinds of different television shows. He won the defy making champions like you know he's killing inspecting partner Joyal. They're doing fantastic. Super Super Proud voice. <hes> Cody Devine's another one of my students. He's he's on California right now. <hes> Kayla crush who wrestles with me at which Lebron laughs. He's another one of my students but you know I've been pretty much <hes> training for about eighteen years now in had some insanely fun matches with my students and you know pretty much. Those guys are like family to me brothers in a big bad way in a limited S._O.. At of all the things I've done you know training those guys C._N._N.. Come out and become L. really good at what they wanted to do. And it's a very social thing for me so yeah yeah very proud. Will you okay so yeah I gather from a breeder interviews that I've done when the student gets to face the teacher in one of their first matches if not the first match. I hear that it's really really fun and it's really exciting for both parties. Is that the case yeah yeah. The first time I got to wrestle. Roy was on a Lucia show out here not literally allows like a a smaller Lucia show <hes> it was first Hugo's Lucia back back when they're still running out of this little bar and we just got to go out there. It was just a mash that I set up because I wanted to get him the more experience in so I kind of set it up and <hes> we went out there and we just had a blast and it was a lot of fun in Royce said that during some part of the match I like did a Tokyo Bay over and landed on him and we kinda landed in the front roll and I didn't hear it but Roy started. He said that one of the fans dislike leaned over to his friend and was just like this is amazing. This is awesome or something like that and he got a huge kick out of that now being one of his first matches out <hes> <hes> wrestled cody several times you know like a ton of times of Caleb crush to like all these guys you know you get to I get it to get in the ring with the National Se- them apply you know the things that you've been going over in practicing with them. It's really cool to watch him. Grow beyond what you've taught them. You know one thing. I've always taught my students or you know. The as I've trained is that you know I'm not your only trainer seek other people out your you could. If you only wrestle me. You'RE GONNA come. You're going to get really good at wrestling me but you have to learn from other people as well like I start you off the next show you some stuff like yet. She started but you know you're not GonNa be great listening to one person go out and listen to other people find other trainers. I'll always be here if you need advice or if you want my opinion in on anything got your back but you know as soon as you know go out and find other people who could teach you otherwise 'cause wrestling is so subjective on the different ways to do things so go out there and learn from the best and keep going and so many of my guys have done that on on proud of how much they've grown right yeah I would. I would say that it's Kinda like that thing where like Fay say you have a problem <hes> <hes> to draw a parallel say like you have a problem with your car and you take it to the same mechanic over and over again. They can't fix it well ticket to another mechanic because they have a different set of eyes so it's Kinda like Kinda like that parallel where you you have somebody else looking at say a student in this case so they can see you know. Give you some more advice to hey. Try this or do this or you know that kind of stuff so it's it's kind of getting you like you're saying kind of getting more influence from different directions yeah exactly and like a you know. Different perspectives is also key because you know I can look at you from my perspective all day long and say. I think this'll be good for you. That could be good for you but you know you go somewhere else. Completely different wrestler is just like try this. I saw this guy over here. Try this this one time. Why don't you try and then it fits you know it's <hes> in a learning from different perspectives is always key like you should never show somebody out? Never you know if somebody gives you advice even with wrestling after a while things could get very annoying with people telling me try this. Try that but you know you should always listen to it always just kind of take it for what it is especially guys with experience if they've been around a little little bit they've seen some stuff. If they've got an idea for you you know listen to it in and see if it applies if it applies great if it doesn't cool you didn't lose anything you know but <hes> other people giving you advice and trying to you know hand you a couple little nuggets of information if they take their time out of their day especially veterans if they take the time out of the data pay attention to you and they see potential in you and they want to help you out. You know <hes> definitely take that advice. I you know I tried to do that. You know I try to do that for a lot of the younger guys out here. I always find it a huge compliment win you know younger guys like filter or Curtis Cole or Austin Logan those guys kind of reach out to me and ask me if I can if I have anything forum or I watched their match in Ohio. We started out of my way to do that for him. Because it's it's a huge compliment me and I know it's just you know trying to get better at aircraft so if anybody's listening this young man ask everybody for helping and they can help you it will yeah yeah cool so let me ask you about <hes> something another little kind of off the tall topped off the wall topic so in Lucci Lebron laughs if the listeners don't know by now there's running commentary during the matches so the comedian that was had their set before your match joins the master so mony Comedians <hes> for that match. It's right after them now. Do you get distracted or even get amped up by some of the running commentary during your match. <hes> you know every now like most of the time I don't pay attention and I just kind of tune it out and kind of paying attention to what I'm doing. I'm paying attention to the crowd mainly so the commentary I don't really listen to it but every now and then a joke will sneak through in a day sometimes even makes me laugh you know <hes> <hes> our host for a long time <hes> was Bobby Valentino and when he was introducing me to walk to give me the ring is like and Bobby will tell you that he always says I'm GonNa save a wrestler but he when I come out there it's always dangerous being a comedian favorite wrestler because they just they just Rabi the whole time so <hes> on the way to the ring. He's the one who's the first guy ever say that I was a called me the the boy with the Dragon Tattoo and and so has become a favorite line of the commentary team now they they'll bust out every now and then <hes>. I always hear that appears through when they say that I think it's hilarious. <hes> you know being the fans addiction one of the commentary team said at one point you know all the fans here in the Oriental theatre are addicted to three things <hes> cutting adding themselves cocaine and Lonnie Velez in and I thought that was hilarious said couldn't stop laughing you know in my matches about start and I'm just like giggling to myself so I try to a tuna melt because they're hilarious and I just try to not pay attention but every now and then they get me and it's it's always a is always hilarious funny. That's I can see that. I remember some of those lines. That's that's great alright sober yeah they are <hes> and it takes it takes talent to <hes> if for example the Comedians that come into lutely rain last it takes good talent to ad-lib you know something they're not. They're not exactly completely familiar with would you would you agree. Oh yeah absolutely and it's a very true. <hes> you know I've been doing been doing these shows with Lucia Lebron laps for so long. I think it's going on you know four or five years now <hes> that I've just been consistently being booked with these guys and you know it's promotion I really love and really we take a lot of pride in how how cool these shows it become but because of that had become friends with a lot of these comedians so I tend to go to their shows when I know there when I'm available and they have shows around guys like Sam Talent Maitland <hes> end up I you know accordingly in all of these guys like a present Thompson all these guys <hes> just become friendly with them and good friends with the couple of you go to their shows. They know who you are. They introduce you. You know what I mean. Everybody's like happy to see you in. It's weird how much comedians in professional wrestlers comment we go to their house parties. You know what I mean. You Know Party with these guys just just because you're traveling entertainers. You know you're you're looking for bookings. You're always in the green room. You're always on the road. Those those kinds of stories are universal between Comedians and wrestlers so you have a ton of things to bond over so it's kind of easy making can French between those who circles and you never think those two things together but you get them together in actual actually go together pretty well. It's it's it's a really cool dynamic. Yeah Yeah I would agree. I I love going to triple it. It's it's fun. It's <hes> S. T. D. at something totally different and it's well worth the price of emission. I mean you can't beat it. Oh yeah man you know we've we want to comedy night of the year like four years in a row we just keep racking up. Well you know <hes> awards with a westward and different other places like that we we got. We cut a commendation from <hes> the Senate you know like the Senate. It's it's it's crazy like Hoa Hell L. Much See shows <unk> bull in Hell loyal fan bases because you know when we when I first started working with them the fans that were there were there to see comedians and they weren't there to so much see wrestling and you know it's grown so much what's that the guys who aren't traditional wrestling fans who may not watch you know Monday night raw every week and they may not know who you know who liu says is or anything like that but they come to Blouson. They know who they know who my slidell is. I Know Zach who a Ni- they know who you know Allie got though is who I am you know they they know the main stays in you know they know what we bring to the table so it's pretty cool to see the way the fans have grown from comedian. Comedian or comedy fans to wrestling fans and <hes> you know it's it's great to be able to see that like evolve and grow over the less you know lost four years right right awesome okay so let's let's <hes> talk about the near future. Do you have any kind of wish list of people you would like to get in the ring with <hes> either as a singles competitor or no you don't do a lot of tag team matches but even as a tag not matching who would you like to tag with as your partner and your some of your dream matches while me and lend Parker have been tagging in which labor and laughs lately <hes> you know we've been kind of a whenever he's around whenever we can and that's who I <hes> as much partner is these days we've been having a blast. Our styles are very similar with lots of striking lots of aerial aerial offense so that's a dynamic at works really well plus me inland just kind of get along. We've had some fantastic matches catches together so as tame. I think we're really we really jail me and him had a really really fun match against Kahlil crush just a few months ago in just had a blast with that so so any type things out there yet like you know from you know I'll be I'll probably be taken with Lynn against whoever as far as singles matches as a lot of younger guys that are coming up right now that I've you know I've worked with filter. A ton of times always been in an press with him and look forward to the next time <hes> got to get in there with Curtis coal which was which was really cool like after mass. You told me that before he started wrestling out here I was like his favorite wrestler out here so is a big deal for him and I was super impressed with him and you know would would absolutely love to jump on the ring with him again. <hes> Austin Logan's another guy that I've come to know when mind getting in there Lyn Parker again. There's it's just a new crop talent. That's coming up that I'm paying attention to even guys like immigration like Rocky Mountain pro- <hes> you know guys. I think there's got their name Bruce Wayne's that I I've kind of seen a couple of times that I've just kind. I liked what he's brought to the table. You know there's a whole bunch of new guys that are just coming through right now that a ring with and I'm always looking for new guys you know new experiences anything like that you know cody divine if he ever makes his way back out here to Colorado love to kick his head in again you know Kayla crushes one of my students. I always have fun time wrestling him so you know just you know Royce ever comes back here. Miana <hes> Mike slidell talked me Matt sidell. His brother actually chatted about wrestling <hes> less. I'm he was intone so he might be somebody that no on that. I got my Unin a always Martin Marty the mosque. He's actually a good friend undermine and we've never actually been able to wrestle one on one been in a four way match against each other but maybe more one on one would be a lot of fun. Sometimes so oh well cool I mean I know Martin's <hes> by Colorado a few times a year or so and you know he is a as far as I know he still the <hes> rocky mountain pro twitch champion so he asked to defend it. Yeah I did see that you have to reach out tomorrow and see what he's up to <hes> less awesome out here <hes> I actually drove back to the airport like me and more we've been we've been good friends for a while. <hes> headed had good time at my birthday party a few years ago so but when he gets out you're always trying to always try. Try to hang out with him whenever he's around so maybe that'll be something that we can. We can look forward to in the future. No it's something we've discussed before cool cool so I kinda gather from just talking to you here you feel. Do you feel like you're kind of like one of the <hes> elder older statements in elder statesman I should say in the Colorado area just kinda watching over the watching over the scene and and kind of getting a good feel for for everything. That's that's happening yeah kind of silicon of of a kind of earned that I don't I don't. I don't know if there's any active wrestler out in Colorado. That's been doing it longer than me like I said in in August it'll be twenty years. <hes> I know Joe Joe McDougal l._l.. Has Been around for for a long time <hes> in Johnny crash who helped train him to he's been around for a long time. There's been a bunch of guys that have been doing it for a minute but yeah I'm definitely one of those guys that's been here for awhile and very proud of how how much this territories grown hell good. The talent has gone to be out here. How much fun to shows have become as for longtime there? The shows weren't weren't greatness is when wrestling was kind of in a little downslope and now you know you're going to see some you could go a lot of different places in see some incredibly excellent you know now neck and Neck Anna Nick and matter you know respect women's wrestling link going on now and that's how strong the territory was were back in the day. You'd have one maybe two girls that could Russell and most of the time they were wrestling guys and now you've got a promotion here in Colorado. That's four women wrestling muscling before you'd be lucky to help one women's match on on the whole show and now you've got a whole show filled with women. which is you know it's fantastic to see how much territories grown how hell good talents gotten girls and guys this teams and whatever else you WanNa you know? Have you seen where it was to where it is now <hes> glad to be part of it. You know I plan to be a part of it for a while in the working with a lot of the the the new that's coming up in you know seeing what's next and you know it'd be happy anything that can do to help strengthen territory or make a little bit better anything I can help. Do you know make shows a little bit more fun than you know. I'm always down for that. You know I'm always very proud of the whole territory and I'm looking forward to seeing how big it can't get yeah yeah. I totally agree yeah especially in the last <hes> let's say especially in the last three years or so. We've had so many promotions <hes> <hes> debut and just take off like you said yeah you know for a long time guys would start up run two shows and then closed down or they start up in only use wrestlers that were very cheap or they could get for free. The and shows won't be that good and you know they would never run again but now you've actually got guys who are actually putting effort into promoting. Actually you know doing doing close to do and booking good talent and reaching out and getting good talent from other places to come in and you know there's so much going on that it's just it's really proud to see a guy like Matt Hayden who I've known for a very long time. <hes> you know saying what he's able to do with a on our M._p.. Is Really Cool. You know <hes> seeing nick you know go from promoting comedy shows to now. He's got to promotions to wrestling promotions. At least promoting is really cool this stuff you know Joe mcnichols been promoting Primoz. I think that's the oldest promotion in Colorado. They've been promoting longer than everybody so it's just it's it's really cool to see the size of the shows and how much effort everybody's into it in how much they you know how much they're taking into it like I said seeing <hes> the beer things that like <hes> Jaden and Nick you're sold out time and time and time again over and over again and you know there's so many people were turning away people at the door which has had for quite a few times. It's a really cool feeling to be part of that right. Okay well <hes> so let's talk about what you have coming up in the near future <hes> what <hes> promotions are you <hes> working with four. Four <hes> and tell all listeners you know about that mainly Qasimi a literally ran Laos <hes> right now with a more personal stuff. I've had to slow down. Take a lot outlets bookings <hes> just because my personal time has been kind of a occupied making money outside wrestling's become a huge priority so unfortunately things are things are going pretty well <hes> so I want to focus on that not so literally ran left's is my focal point right now but <hes> you know you never know like I said I have a lot of friends here in Colorado in <hes> you know I don't really have enemies as far as I know I don't have heat with people so you know when it comes time I might reach out out to a couple of different people in see where where might wind up you know just last year a couple of times you know I jumped in the Ring Primoz just to just to have a little bit of fun. You know up a couple of people that was fun <hes> so he always open to suggestions if any other promoters out there have any ideas for me or anything like that. I'm always willing to listen like I said a you know I I just I'm at a point now where I just really enjoy doing this so yeah. I'm you know it was very soon on might reach out to some people if they reach out to me. I know there's a lot going on in Colorado Springs right now. So you know if anything down there is interested. I'm always always available then. I'm always as a as I would say. I'm very tranquil right now all right so April fifth you'll be Lucia Lebron Maths and so do you have a opponent yet that we can announce can announce nick has announced the opponent <hes> okay I. I will give it a little bit. It'll be it won't be just one opponent house up. Okay that's cool. That's a that's a great teaser. That's a good reason to go to Lucci. RYAN LAUGHS DOT COM in purchase a ticket yeah. If you look at all the craziest stuff I've ever done in which labor in laughs it's always been in multiple and matches so expect expect some <hes> some silliness that night. I know the guys so far the guys from what I've heard that will be in the ring with. I can't stress enough. It's GONNA be amazing. Show literally releases always amazing shows the April fast. They said they were trying to get ready to <hes> Gergo live on right now TV here very shortly in April which is literally right around the corner so they got to WHO <hes> do some <hes> test runs with that this go around seemed like it happened <hes> pretty well it <hes> went off smoothly and they did a great job and I hi am I called him out on twitter saying that you know the <hes> episode therefore ignition in charge on last Thursday will so good now coming this Thursday. They've got supercharged three and Mike how you guys going the top that so got that challenge out to them in <hes> they <hes> liked the tweet so I think <hes> they've got something cooked up very well for us. People going to be watching it in attendance it's and on their twitch stream and for right now TV on Friday rocky mountain pro returned to the Alamo remember the Alamo and they had the <hes> Hot Fuzz US movie there starring Simon Pegg <hes> which a lot of people know he's been in a lot of things for me. He's course the new Scotty you know. Star Trek fame and they did did really well in my opinion with this to a lot of the matches were themed to the movie theater experience and that was great. I'm going to do a special shout out to Chango Bronson because his character plays extremely well <hes> in the movie theater <hes> environment and they they did really well and I never had seen hot fuzz like ahead mentioned <hes> on twitter and I may mention it here on the podcast and I actually enjoyed it was <hes> definitely a well worth seeing. I think it's definitely one of those movies that you you must see you go. Go ahead and put it on your list to make that part of your movie watching experience and then on Saturday I went to Iron Hill's championship wrestling for the very first time in Colorado Springs and I enjoyed it got to I got called out for not city in the fourth row <hes> but but <hes> there of course I just kind of said that I'm just incognito and I'm just my alter self so there you go.
