Joy and Enjoyment
"Circumstances happens. Someday might not be able to do this anymore of already decided if I can't I'm just as important then as I am now. Because you're worth is not tied to what you do. It's who you are and who you belong to. And? Don't just work and save all your money. So someday, you can sit around and do nothing. I mean, surely we can have a better goal in life than that. I'm at least if you want to retire not work anymore than. Volunteer for something make plans to. Travel and go on trips but don't just sit around every day and be cranky for your kids to take care of. ECCLESIASTES, these five, eighteen, and nineteen. This is what I've observed. Good. That is appropriate for person to eat drink and defined satisfaction in their work. Under the Sun during the few days of life that God has given them. For this is their lot moreover when God, gives someone wealth. and. That's all of us and possessions and the ability to enjoy them. To accept their lot and be happy in their toil, this is a gift from God. Don't work but enjoy your work. Now. Dig Thing. I'M GONNA, say here learn to enjoy your life. Not. The. What he's given you. The bloom where your planet. See Our whole job here in the is to glorify God. It's not to get ahead and be the president of the company and you know be world famous and it's just to Gore Fi gone. And to enjoy God, serve God enjoy God enjoy being God's child enjoy the little corner of life that he has given you. So what if your house is not as big as somebody else's are you can't buy as expensive as close as somebody. Else's are you white ten pounds more than somebody else does. Those are not the things that are Joyce should be tied up in. Most of life is ordinary, but you can learn to enjoy it. I got more message than I. Got Night Left. I think. Mark Four Twenty Six, and twenty seven. He Jesus, also said, this is what the Kingdom of God is like a man scattered seat on the ground night and day he sleeps or gets up the sage sprouts and grows though he does not know how. The sage sprouts God is working but in the meantime we have to deal with a lot of ordinary life you plant your seeds of faith. You plant your financial seeds in the Kingdom of God and you believe that God is working and while you're waiting, you enjoy the life that you have. We have to get over this thinking I'll enjoy life win I'll be glad and Quinn. Not. Win Now. Come on everybody say now. All right now. Something that. God has been showing me and this. This sounds so simple you're going to say. I know that. But. I, think it may help. A lot of you. All right so Here's a way. This is my little secret trick. Here's the way that you can enjoy everything. You, do you wake up in the morning? You. Want to. Get. Up. I don't want to go to work. I don't want to drive in traffic. I don't want to hear these kids. Dread it all but I guess I'll get up and do it. Okay. When I wake up now and I lay there and think. I really don't particularly want to get up then I think. Thank God I've got feet. Thank God but I don't have to have somebody put me in a wheelchair before I can get up but I can actually get up and walk to my bathroom and walk out to my kitchen and make myself a cup of coffee in my lovely little coffee pot and sit in my recliner and look out my window and drink my coffee and talk to Jesus because I am so.
Is Tiger Woods about to make a putter change?
"Talked again, we talked a good amount about him. He looks great. There's a lot of positive thoughts about his chances this week he warned in Oh five. He won here I think that he never shot higher than sixty eight and then in two thousand, nine, the President's covers here at harding park he went five Oh and so he has good history here he is still the. Reigning Masters Champion. Ugly, Fifteenth. In the world, some are trying to point. So some negatives like he's only played four competitive rounds in six months. I'm not focused on that I. Don't think he gives a shit about that. He showed up to Zozo championship last year in Japan and it felt like we had seen him play golf or any decent golf in months, and he's won that tournament in Atlanta. He showed up to the President's cup. We were there. We were physically there watch the entire thing. Play the president's coverage has several the best players in the world, their best player, the President's Cup in a landslide. So Tiger Woods smile and yet focused I like his chances this. I think he's come a long way since Monday and a lot of people's minds in that. All is incredibly exciting. On. Monday because. If we remember in the last podcast, you said, he really had no chance. That's true. Well, said, he's the favourite. Video and a you know with the weather and everything else that I would write this low on his list Jimi play whatever rig said because it wasn't that wasn't what we said and it certainly wasn't when said he was literally what I just you in you in the New York Post or two peas in a pod newer post tweeted out. Tiger Woods needs a miracle this week at the championship it was like what the fuck is going on and you know rig says similar points new. York Post. I said tiger. Woods is the favorite I said that on Monday show Tuesday show Jake will find that but I just ranked course and the the fact it's fifty five fucking degrees and narrow fairways. Low on the list of tiger woods majors coming up in the next four five years. It's not that hard. Of course, is not the art of course, I gave Frankie thumping already park last night. On the game. So it was like I I I could go out there right now in wooded. So the overall. Well I you know. I didn't realize we were GONNA play a marathon session of golf club twenty, nineteen I looked at the time we're finished up three and a half hours. My back was sore. I couldn't feel my feet like it's not built for endurance I'm just not built for endurance but I smoked you. At harding. Park. So I'm not too worried about art course conditions. By the way, we're not just a heads up just while we're talking about it. We said we were GONNA stream tonight, Thursday you're listening to it but we didn't realize that the coverage goes so late. So we will not be streaming tonight, but we will doing Tuesday Thursday next week. So be on the lookout for that. Last Tiger related thing new putter. About the new potter, he's got the Scott Newport. I think it's like the two point. Oh it's the one with the different weights and couple of different reports about it. Some saying he's definitely putting it in play other saying it's GonNa be a game time decision he. According to Steve Stricker, Tiger really likes it. It's a little longer in length with have been over as much. We can practice as putting a lot more which makes a lot of sense So that would be a good thing for the back and then another aspect of it is that apparently it's got adjustable wait we have heard for decades now tiger. Could just couldn't get the speed right or you know other Greens were little slower than I thought and I guess instead of having to make that adjustment in your fields or in your judgment calls in, you're putting in how hard it he can just tweet the weights and the Scottie, and that's what he likes because you know if the Green Bay speed them up from. Wednesday Thursday early days beat him up from Saturday Sunday whenever he can just kind of tweak the weights part of me going into this feels like well, tiger woods has won thirteen or fourteen major championships with that part of that is the elder wand. That is the thing that he flipped and spun in circles right in front of our faces that ad US bedazzled. Is the horn. Rocks. And any other usage of any other putter is not only blasted, but it's it's him searching a tim trying to find something which means he's not comfortable, and then the other part of me says, it's Tiger fucking. Would you give them a wooden stick? You give them happy. Gilmore's little hockey stick putter. He'll go out there and win because he's the greatest time you give them any driver persimmon would as a matter it'll just go out and win because he's better than everyone else and it doesn't matter So I'm a little torn on the whole thing. But it's Tigers putter. So everybody's talking about basically I'm just praying for success I mean, I do I think it's the right decision and adding and subtracting weights based on green speed that seems Like, if I'm just going to pick up a new tool every time when it's GonNa be different weight I don't think that I'm going to have much accessible but again, I'm not tiger so I'm not so keen on that. But Hell. If he's got confidence conferences key and if he thinks that's going to help them make more. Than you know play with a hockey stick or whatever. You just said you know so. Tricky one, but you were rooting for dagger. But I don't like I. Don't I'm not as doesn't work for me and I'm not a fan. I am not a supportive of the change I want that other potter to just pile up major victories and lurch. You said what I was GonNa say where changing the way day to day on a putter seems like a nightmare scenario I get that stegar woods. He's the greatest Golfer of all time but I need everything in my bag and again I'm not comparing myself to tiger woods but I need everything to be. One way just needed to be the same all the time. So messing with putter way just seems like a crazy idea but again, if he likes it if it makes him comfortable, that's GonNa give them better chances week. Thank God.
Dallas Fuel is Making Changes
"Have had a shakeup in one of the premier teams and when I say premier teams I mean. Fan Base Wise. A lot of lot of people have been asking and looking at this for I, would say since the beginning of overwatch leak and that's The Dallas fuel have officially I think have turned the page and already to look forward to to changing things. Just in the matter of one week, they have dropped their head coach will all go order first off, they dropped a k. to came on the team for the most part. A lot of people thought he was going to be a starter. Really. Kinda he was more of a bench player when it turned out a lot of people upset saying you're wasting his talent. Blah Blah Blah. We'll came out this week. The heaters straight up stopped practicing. He didn't want to work with the team anymore. So micra fell now the C. G. O. Chief Gaming Officer operator whatever the acronym was I forget which is basically a fancy way of saying he's the top GM. Like he is now like, yes, they have a GM of the team in Tasma Oh book. I don't get it to us now. MICRA. Is He's the puppet master of the teams now under the NBA umbrella k. including empire and things like that. He's going to have the final say. So yeah for sure like he's he's going to be the top dog when it comes to making any roster decisions across all of these sports I feel like an through him ultimately, right? Right. So you have that okay, and a lot of people are upset about it. I you know. I get the frustration behind the fuel fans I get it because you came into the Overwatch League season one with you and soul dynasty were touted to be number one like. Know it was going to be one of you. We're going to be the champions of course envy was coming in with fuel use the envy roster plus a couple additional players that were only supposed to make it better. Right. They added Siegel they added ex- qc like how on Earth could it get any worse with them? Obviously, that didn't work out. So the expectations for the fuel have always been high like even though they've been one of the worst teams in the league since it started like even going into season two because they ended season one on a high note. So season to this, is it the fuel are going to change? nope not so much and it's pretty been a rinse and repeat in season three. So. When you have a player especially one that's like kind of a billboard material player saying he's refusing to practice I would have to death wish you like your are tied at that point. Yeah. You're out like there is no and if I was an owner, right if I was GM, there's like no negotiating with that, right I'm not going to be like, Oh, you don't want to practice to K-. What if we make a starting player? Then would you play pretty please which would you practice then like? You. Asked him be cut like there's not a whole lot you're going to do to convince that type of player. He's not decay is not Alan Iverson right? Like you're not that. Good. So if you were maybe the superstar of the team and you were doing everything will then hey, maybe they'll find a way to make this work not that not practicing is okay but they'll be more willing to resolve whatever the issue is. Manure. Semi contributing at this point in your a nuisance to the team, we're bringing down morale whatever it may be ultimately. That's easy decision to make. Yeah. So there's that and everyone was super pissed about it. Saying you got the you know the players aren't the problem stop stop blaming the players and although I agree to a certain extent then all of a sudden the news drop that dropped Eyraud head coach of the team. Now to me in my opinion longtime coming long-term coming, I've even mentioned it on the show that. The, the fuel were just not creative enough in a game that demands creativity you if you are following the Meta if you're just doing the cookie cutter with the top teams are doing and you're not a top team, you're not gonna all of a sudden beat them at their own game. You have to find a way to be creative and for whatever reason. The fuel just never were they made notoriously horrible in game adjustments in between map adjustments everything like that from the get-go and that was with Jane on the team right I thought it was worse with Jane when he was the assistant coach an Arrow. Look. We've met them. We know him he's a good to there's no doubt about it that he I think the players want to play for him but that doesn't defeat the fact that they weren't playing like they just bought performing and eventually the coach has to fall on that sword and Arrow just avoided that I think a little too long. They found no consistency in any way the season's right in season wind it was a a late run to a meaningless like fourth quarter Ryan. You know when you're already down by twenty one at that point there just wasn't enough there to to redeem that kind of the season one was just a shit show in general for them right from where it was supposed to be you know even last year I it just never really you know we talked about in doing changes making changes in between maps. That's something that you always kind of harped on that they did do enough right new expect you played the fuel like this is what you were going to get. In now, to see him this year, they're sitting, you know thirteen th the towards the bottom of the standings. It was a matter of time like at some point. You gotta just get a fresh look like look Arrow did really good. Would you coaching the World Cup team but he also had the five players in the world right arguello woke up team like showing up for him To, like save his job unfortunately.
Miami - Islanders Score 4-2 Win Over Panthers
"On the other hand, the islanders a win away from advancing or I guess technically qualifying for the Stanley Cup playoffs boomer son-in-law with the second period equalizer yesterday with Sydney and Little Winnie watching from home. Jordan Eberle put the aisles ahead in the second that he added power play goal in the third, they beat the panthers for two to lead the series two games Sedan Berry Trot says, it's quickly onto game number three. This game what we did today doesn't matter enjoy it for you know an hour in and. Get focused in on what we need to do tomorrow. For Nothing? I. Mean I could have scored that goal. Here real going to downgrade your son-in-law's technically technically. Saying I mean you know it was like right in front of the well, what if you play for the Rangers that would have been blocked right right. So given credit you're right give them credit
Our Season Finale Starring the Founders of She Podcasts and Skyes husband Don
"Hello and welcome to inside podcasting the show in which creators discussed their craft. I'm your host. Sky. Pillsbury. This is a post show episode, but we're doing things just a little differently today I all chat with Elsie Escobar and Jessica Kupperman about last week's interview with sixteen nineteen producers, a Diese Egan and Anti Brown Jessica and Elsie our the founders of she podcasts a community that helps women and non binary podcasters through every step of their podcast journey. The pair met online years ago and joined forces to create a free facebook group that now has over seventeen thousand members. Jessica Elsie also hosts a really fun podcast called she podcasts in which they talk about all things podcasts, and they are the founders of she podcast live an in person conference I attended their inaugural event last year and it was wonderful. Their next event is scheduled for next. October. that's October of twenty twenty. One For the second half of our show due to popular demand I am bringing back my husband. We will take a look back at the season. I hope you enjoy today's conversations and I'll be back at the end to wrap things up. I am thrilled today to have with me, Elsie Escobar and Jessica Cup for men who are the founders of she podcasts. They are also the women I consider to be my podcast Mama's. Even. Though I am almost one hundred percent sure that I'm over than them both. So with that welcome Jessica and Elsie, I'm so happy to have you here. Think. You yes. All right guys you are my guest hosts and I'm your subject and I'm ready for you go. Just you have the questions I will chip in. Okay. There are so many shows and episodes right now in podcasting about race and racial relations. So why did sixteen nineteen speak to you specifically? Honestly it made me feel angry that I had not Known so much of what was talked about in this podcast. Hadn't learned any of it in school and I went to a very good public school and yet I felt like everything I was hearing felt new to me obviously I knew basic facts about Abraham Lincoln and the civil war and things like that. But I did not understand any of the nuance and I certainly did not understand how happened what felt like so long ago right it did sorta feel to me like ancient history did not understand how connected it was to our current world. For example, healthcare I had no idea that I mean our healthcare's. Louis it was mind blowing like the fact that we have the worst healthcare system of any developed nation and the fact that that can be traced. So clearly back to the fact that we did not want to allow black enslaved people or even black UNIN slaved people to have equal healthcare. You know the fact that we can trace that back is. Rushing and tragic, and it's tragic for all of us you know and those kinds of realizations just felt so jarring and I had a real emotional reaction to listening to the podcast both because I just felt so much more empathetic to people who are living the black experience in the US but also it was also emotional because I felt cheated of that knowledge and so the reason why I wanted to talk to the people and I still feel so incredibly fortunate that I was able to get them on the show and bring shine. Any kind of light on that for other people was incredibly rewarding and that's why I wanted to have him on on the show they. It's funny. I've thought about this like they talk in the episode about how they want to lift up Nicole's work and I felt that in talking to them, I was hoping to lift up their work and Nicole's work. You know sort of getting even more Meta here but just wanting people to recognize and see this podcast and maybe have the same kind of transformative experience listening to it that I did.
Dr. Lori Whatley - Staying Digitally Healthy During Quarantine
"And super excited to talk to you because not only have we been having struggles with screen time in our house since since quarantine started, but I know that every other person, all the other parent friends are also saying exactly the same thing. I feel very nonparent friends too I feel like a lot of people are watching so much more TV. And on the phone, so much more than we used to be. And I I'm hoping that we can sort of pick apart and find balancing tricks, and especially for the kids I mean I know my kids are having lots of meltdowns. IPADS and I hide the ipads in our normal life for like weeks on end, they do not watch them. They do not know where they are when I used to have them out in a certain place. It was always a fight 'cause. They could see them now I literally there away their off, they don't see them, and now we need to use them for school every single day, we take them out the first thing in the morning seven o'clock in the morning I start with them because I have daphne in each have four kits. and. Three of mine are getting home schools right now, my my one year old isn't and. And it's. It's it's challenging. It's challenging to explain to them when I'm forcing them to like learn certain things on the IPAD and then other times I'm like, no, no, no pot. We can't watch IPAD and so there's been tons and tons of meltdowns. And I don't know what you're. If you have any words of wisdom, well, I think that you said, exactly. The perfect word when you said balance and. I think with the kids. We must have valance and helping them learn balance. Early in life is very important because you know we all have it in our lives and we realized how important it is for us to balance things in our lives and a lot of times, the kids if they in age appropriately, if you're able to help them understand what you're doing and why you're going to do it and maybe even tell them ahead of time. So they they can mentally prepare because they're like us. You know springing something on them, take some of that. So given them an opportunity to. Know, what's going to happen and process that a little bit. But also helping them think that you know this is this is an opportunity for you all to connect in different ways We're all learning how to connect in different ways and our families right now and in our homes and helping them have in-person connection and learn how to do that is is to me one of the greatest gifts that you can give your children. Can you just tell our audience a little bit about your expertise in and because it was I'm sure. Sure. It feels different when you went into this field, but it does in the current environments I. Love For them just to understand the background a little bit. So I have a private practice in Atlanta as a therapist and I did my doctorinal studies around managing digital distractions and the reason that I did that was because more and more in my office I. Digital Distractions came up in sessions in one way or another and parents would bring their kids in May be the kids weren't doing well in school and they didn't understand why. and. I realized I'm going to need to know more about this topic as as time passes because this is becoming very prevalent in in my practice, people were bringing in more and more problems that have to do with digital device usage. So as I ask these teenagers questions about their habits, they would say, Oh, well, yeah, I am out on my phone all night or you know. Know on my ipad on I and parents had absolutely no idea that this was going on, and so they didn't understand their kids were you know experiencing sleep deprivation, which of course, affects your grades facture the way that you fill the next day at school Also I was you know having couples come in and they were going out together on a weekly date or whatnot. Maybe one of them was on the phone a lot and and it just kept coming up and so I realized I need to know more about this, and so as I began my research and learn such vital information about the way that technology effects us and certainly have made positive changes in my own life because of it now I must say technology is a wonderful thing and I, enjoy technology. So I'm not like a, you know Technology Bashar, but it certainly. Certainly make our lives easier unable to practice with people all over the world and how clients all over the world because of my technology and access to it. But I think that I have a respect for technology in a balancing, what some of the things that you they have learned and some of the changes that you've made in your personal life. Well, the first thing I do in the morning is a used to look at my phone or look at my laptop and. You, open that up and immediately there's something bad that you see that begins your day in a negative way. So I began putting that away for the first hour of the day Now, no digital distractions for me. The first hour day is just a peaceful, our maybe practice mindfulness or a cup of tea or go for a quiet walk or sit on outside on my. My Patio or whatnot and just start Madina Com way, and certainly as apparent, my kids are grown now. But when I was a parenting, it was very important that I began my day in a calm way because certainly, we all know as parents that since the kids start waking up, things might become a little bit chaotic right around Your House. We had a large family and. So we experienced that in and it was just best for me to be in that calm stable place as the day began, and then another another thing that I did as apparent was when I would pick up my kids in Carpool I made a point to not ever be on my phone it mainly, my kids said, hey, mom pitcher phone down don't tax when you're with us or whatever, and and we had to listen to them, and I realize now I tell them hey down when you're with me. That say the things you know the tables flipped a little bit here, but I realized that also I, at in the evenings I ended my day. In a quiet peaceful way with no screens
Abby Wambach: If you're not a good leader on the bench, you cannot call yourself a good leader on the field.
"Hey everyone. This show might sound a bit different today because we're skimming from three different couches. The scam is still working from home for the time being because of covid nineteen. Today, we have a very special guest joining us abby Wambach is here with us on skin from the couch she is a two time Olympic gold medalist, a FIFA World Cup champion, and a member of the national soccer hall of fame. Also, she hasn't slowed down in retirement she is now a New York Times. Author and equal pay activists. We I had the pleasure of meeting abby when we spoke to her wife, Glennon Doyle on the show in March and we dragged her onto the podcast as well, and if you haven't listened to that episode, go check it out. It's a good one abby. Thank you so much for joining us today. Welcome to skin from the catch. Yeah. Thanks for having me. I'm so thrilled and honored to be with you all on three different couches. Thou-. Before. We jump into our first question I have to tell you I was looking at our prep for this and there was one bullet in here. That has really made me laugh as I have to share it, which is that you used to have a special card that got you a free Burrito a day from AAA but it stopped working when you're retired that seems passive aggressive for sure to Poli what the F.. Yeah. So when I first got this card, it was Gosh I must've been ten years ago now and you know like the gold cards portly for life like essentially my name is on it and you guys don't know how I go way back. From the early days and I mean I would get a Burrito. Day You guys we're both creatures of habits. I respect this. Yeah. It was crazy and this is before we really knew how many calories were in each burrito. Bowl that I would make or Burrito early days. and. So then yeah, of course when I retired, I was super excited to still be able to get one free Burrito a week for year, but they never really checked up on it but then I think when I got a family when I married Glenn and attained. That you know fifteen dollar meal. Turned into a sixty five dollar meal or seventy dollars meal for the whole family and pull was like I. Don't know if we're GONNA keep floating this for her so. It was a good run while it lasted I'm sorry that you've struggled with that but I did make me laugh as read. So, we're going to jump into our very first question. We'd like to ask everybody it just skim your resume skin my resume. It's so funny because when you retire, that's like that's essentially what I've had to do over the last four or five years of my life since retiring from playing on the national team, and if people don't really know I played for a long time on our women's national team. So Ski. My life I'm the youngest of seven children I grew up in Rochester New York, and I went to the University of Florida and played soccer there for four seasons where after I was drafted number two by the way just remember this folks you don't get drafted number one. You can still succeed I was drafted number two out of college to go play for a team called The Washington freedom the best player in. The world at the time. Mia. Hamm played on that team and it really changed my life because we were able to develop a connection that then transferred into me getting called into the national team and playing on the national team in scoring goals in the national team, and then I had a pretty long career representing his country won a gold medal. I want a couple of medals actually I won a fee. For Women's World Cup. World. Cup. I should say it doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl that's pretty awesome in my retirement I have kind of taken on this activism role that when I play ironically when I played I was a little bit more like just go and do my job and we were going to show our activism rather than talk about it. But when you quit playing, you gotta actually transfer that. Because I can't play anymore I can't show it in the ways that I used to. So I've transitioned into becoming a public speaker and an activist and apparent and wife, and that is my skin. Has a great skin? What is it like to be really good at something where young 'cause I have? No clue. Yeah I mean it's confidence building you know I felt like. Okay. I know that I'm good at this thing over here but I think you know all of us have our little things right? Like no matter what kind of. Place we grew up or family we grew up in or what kind of trauma we we experienced as a child because we all do some of US feel like we're unlovable my case in particular some of us were neglected. Some of us were over parented like we all have problems inside of our family dynamics that for me really allowed me to and gave me the courage to propel in this kind of an individualistic career. So when I was young I kind of was a very big risk taker. I was a free spirit is what they called me, I think that's what they call children who don't follow the rules as much as their parents want them to and I think that the other side of that coin is I was really trying to get the attention of my parents, right. So the very thing that might have felt trauma or hardship from in my childhood is the very thing that made me successful. So I have to always remember that like as much as I as young as seven children. As much as all of us wanted the attention of our parents, I do think that kind of parent team actually shaped me and and allowed me to explore this competitiveness inside. In this drive and this embiid to go after what I needed and what I wanted. So I give a lot of credit to that form of parenting into that trauma

I don't know there's like none of those markers like didn't see your mom for mother's Day like don't go away for this birthday and so like. It's faster yet slower. Low a nineteen seventies like cast over everything just like doom and gloom summer of Sam the seriously it's not fun right now anyway, let's bring the phone. Let's bring the levity. Bring the joy. What do we got this week? Let me tell you. We've got the headlines. We've got men wearing makeup. Okay. I'm very excited about this trend I feel like we report on this like every six months but I feel like there's always a tweak there's always a new span. Oh No, we've recorded double that episode for you. So if some huge news comes out at the end of August and it is not including this, you cannot blame me I was just thinking like watch oprah like surprise drop beyond style like a makeup line like Oprah's makeup line and we don't talk about it like every facet like off their game it's because I'm recording early just so you know. Okay. So remember last week when we talk about Clare Sonic Failing Jason, you're like, well, they're no dummies all those people are going to be. You know they'll find something to work on. Well, did they ever? So Dr, Rob We've both interviewed I know. He actually left the company before it closed and started up this brand called Oculus and so this is where all the technology's going. It's launching in the fall. It's basically like you know a courage coffeemaker. It's like that for skin care. So I, gotTa look at it. It's a little like device you putting these pods. K Cups of care and it mixes together the pod that you want and squirts out a fresh batch just one application of your skincare.

"Hello. and. Welcome to the tennis podcast. It is Monday the third of August twenty, twenty and two. There is tennis actual tennis. Never, find run event, which is taking place to eighteen months after they. After they, qualified for it. And the even then there were. It was kind of in the background there were rumbling signs of covid nineteen. I think the airport I was at in Hungary actually had a case and they shut the airport down and but then two days later everything just shut down it's amazing how quickly it happened. Just. Tennis tennis is back and it came back with a tennis way because I think the first day of qualifying in Palermo ended gone to am in the morning. kind of like we're doing this again. Given there's no crowds to worry about a no corporate lunches to around the there is no excuse for that is the because he can stop playing at eight am. And all items which you might have to wear a Nike shoe with awesome accessories they remain in the case. Keeping most of. My bedroom floor. It's It's the content that everyone's waiting for you. Welcome. Seven terms of tennis. News from this week, there's been no sort of big bombshell news. The deadline of the thirty first of July has been put. On the US Open confirming. Wants him four whether or not? It was going ahead? We haven't had that sort of concrete hundred percent confirmation. From the US Open from everything we're hearing as much as the little concerned around a concern around everything we're hearing suggests that with a heck of a lot of regulations in place in and details of those those rules and regulations have been. Leaking sporadically of the last couple of weeks, it will be going ahead. I mean seems to me that the only outstanding detailed in terms of it being categoric is. The quarantine situation on reentering the you and I think I mean in some ways that is I don't know whether that might even be made easier by the fact that it sounds like Madrid isn't going to happen anymore in this is not quite such a rush to get back to to Europe in order to play the very next event.

"Hello. My name is Jesse can MRS podcast number four, hundred, thirty, nine for wine abner we teach for rules to help us stop even picked paycheck get out of debt and save more money today I, WanNa talk about covert conquerors. So twenty twenty. What do you say? I just wanted to share a cup we get. We. Get people right in and this is a this is a brag. We get people that write in and tell us how wine Abbas changed their life. They actually will say it's a life changer. and. In light of all of the garbage that we've experienced with covid nineteen, I wanted to share just two stories that users written and shared. So. Here's one now I'm sharing this. Fully aware that everyone's situation is unique. I'm Sharon this also. So that, you can see how powerful the four rules are. I want you to see that if you work these rules, your situation will always be better than if you did not work the rules. So we're all in different spots. Infinitely, different spots. And we all. been the cards are dealt the way they're dealt and you. You can't change that. All I'm saying here is if you work the rules. You will make. A. It will be better for you than if you did not. Budgeting makes things better. It's not the end all be all solution to all things. But if you say all else equal this person budgeted, this person did not budget the person that's budgeting. is going to come out better. So I say that because I don't want someone listening saying well, Gosh. I. Wish this. I, wish that listen follow the four rules. Whether you make ten thousand dollars a year or two hundred, thousand dollars a year follow the four rules. Both those people with wildly different resources will be better off if they're budgeting. So here's a quote. Thanks to COVID. Nineteen Sarcastically I should add thanks to over nineteen. My husband took a thirty three percent pay-cut. We didn't know how we're going to survive. Let alone make it if he lost his job altogether. I've always been in charge of the budget. He's never cared much. We discussed we would really need to stick to the budget air quotes from then on his request was I find a budgeting software that told him when he couldn't spend money? It took me thirty minutes to find why not watch videos that explained it and decide that. Why was the way to go I showed him we set it up and eight weeks down the track not only do we have money lasting in the account for the first time ever? We have a small savings account and haven't really even noticed the huge remember that was thirty three percent pay-cut. We cannot think why enough for sorting us out now obviously, this woman and her husband, they did all the work. But I love reading it. Essentially took a huge pay cut didn't know what they could do. She'd always been running the money. He said, well, find something that will help me to not spend when we can't spend their work in the four rules. With. Thirty three percent pay-cut, they're making progress that they didn't make before when they were making that additional money. So. In spite of covert and the thirty three percent pay-cut, they're making progress. It actually spurred them. Think of the things they're learning that. The things they've learned because they were spurred to take action be proactive find the intention, put the money behind the intention and go. That is that is so powerful. Here you have someone's like, how can you possibly be better off after having had your income blocked off by thirty three percent now I don't know what she earns maybe Sheeran's ninety percent of the money, and so I'm just kidding she wouldn't have written if that were the case but. Maybe Sharon's nothing and it was a true thirty percent. I don't know but she didn't share those details what I'm saying is this. You go from Manda. Situation is horrible you in sort of budget into that situation and now the situation is better. Than before better, you know pre covid everything's pre covet everyone about pre vid always our pretty covered. It was this you know. It's insane. So, here we go. Wind up allowed my now spouse and combine our finances when we started living together instead of joint budget for the common areas. Cool are big was to de before getting engaged and having joined budget. How does accountable to each other? Then when we got engaged and married at set the foundation for us to make financial decisions together awesome the decision making together as the key this is Jessie are talking back to the quote we always consoled enlarge purchases stick to our spending money. It confuses people around us, but we're financially set for emergencies like now with covid where I lost my job and we're suddenly on a single income instead of two. We dropped all the discretionary spending still even a little bit of money to have fun with our son like a weekend ice cream and make decisions on what to cut and how much to say with my husband's salary. It's a tool that allows us have a guided visual conversation on our budget, and we both always know where each line item stands. They went from two income to one. And they're still making it in spite of I mean that's that's a crazy lop off of income and they're still they've still been able to make progress.
The Why and How of Self Care by Randi Kay of Naturally Randi Kay
"The why and how of Self Care Iran decay of Naturally Randy K. dot com. As you can gather, I think a lot about taking care of yourself and I care a lot about it. I WANNA shout about it from the rooftops I wanna hug you and bless you with self care blessings. I WanNa grab your shoulders, shake you while I yell how important it is in your face. But. I shall take a more humble right in a blog route at the moment and a little deeper into why it's important and some simple ways to get started. Talk to yourself. Our bodies are constantly communicating the different body systems working together the body language we exude or verbal conversations, but one of the most important conversations that we tend to neglect his consciously checking in with ourselves. I wrote a few posts ago about negative self-talk and start gently changing that conversation with ourselves. But along with that, there is the honest feedback conversation because something like this hey body mind or soul how're you doing today? What do you need? How can I help this whole day after? And then taking the time to listen for me some of those answers tend to be something like this Mo-. Hey, girl thanks for checking in. May I'm doing pretty good but my name and upper back heard a little I think he slept Kinda funny. You should do those and neck and shoulder stretches that I like Owen though he totally loved those cupcakes from Nicole's last night. My Tummy hurts meet a little lighter today Okay Mogi cool and by the way you are the bees. It may seem silly and he may feel like you've got a little goal homes Megan Combo going but it's K- keep going with it and you will come to cherish that daily inner dialogue I have come to not being able to function without it. Movement does your body good. This may seem like an obvious one but your body needs to move and yes, it moves all the time but we need that time of intentional movement, the benefits of exercise and stretching are endless and yes, we all know them. But seriously folks if we don't stretch and move and tend to our aches and pains, it can lead to incredibly negative and serious consequences. A favorite quote of mine that is known in the Yoga therapy world is quote if you listen to your body whisper, then you don't have to hear it scream and quote. And that touches on my first daily Combo point as well. Those first twinges and whispers of body discomfort is our bodies way of warning us saying, Hey, let's do something about this or else is going to get worse and lead to a torn rotator cuff or knee injury or heart attack or who knows what else. One of my favorite quotes is by core fusion co founder Fred veto quote. Embrace movement as an essential part of being alive and quote. We were created, sit at desks and stare at screens for eight plus hours a day. I'll save the soapbox for another time. But Self Care is how he counter that ever increasing way of life. And if you are up and moving for most of your day, self cares how we create some stillness and more therapeutic movement inhabits. Fill your own cup I save something to pour. In Our culture, there is glorification of busy. There's a glorification of sacrifice and struggle while I think being busy and sacrificing and struggling or important parts of life in their own ways is gonNA balance of heard almost every excuse in the book as to why people can't do self care is so hard with kids they need me I never get a moment to myself. I don't have time at work. So tired by the end of the day, my dog ate my homework. Okay. Not that last one but they all. Sound, like silly excuses to me what people don't understand, and this is usually the self care point that makes me wanNA shake people yell in a loving way. Of course, is that by taking time for yourself every day even if it's just five minutes of debriefing and grounding will make you a better partner parent friend employer employee everything you need to fill your own cup. If you really want to be the person you want to be in the world, you must take those sacred moments to yourself to take good care. And not only will you be able to serve others better you'll have valuable coping tools like healthy body, healthy breathing habits, self love, and confidence etc to deal with stresses in Traumas that will happen in life. In Summary To put it all onto a sweet-smelling glossy package check in with yourself daily to receive guidance on how to move and stretch and care to yourself. So you can be that kick angle force in the world.
US-China rivalry hinders a struggling HSBC
"We've seen fall out over the UK is World Way decision suspensions of extradition treaties on most recently. Hong Kong considering on election delay That could mean HSBC's business shift may prove untenable under its current structure being listed in the UK and Hong Kong while supporting China's national security law, expectations of more drastic action on earnings, they are increasing well for more on this. We're joined by Bloomberg Finance reporter Harry Wilson. Thank you so much for being with me, Harry. Look, first of all on H S B. C. It was unusual, wasn't it? That HSBC made the statement that it did about China's controversial A new law that effects Hong Kong. Why do you think they did that? I can only surmise they come on the enormous amount of pressure to say something on it. Normally, banks, particularly HSBC have like to remain entirely apolitical. Getting into politics just isn't in the DNA. And I think the fact that they felt they had to come out and say something publicly shows that probably not saying something will was seen as a school, too. So we certainly have picked up in the last couple of months that our thanks senior to perfectly are getting a little hum. I think a lot of cools a lot of Um ah, imploring from their Asian businesses to basically toe the line of it more when when it comes to Christo. Events in Hong Kong and China. Okay, so that on the security law on the flipside, of course, the pressure in response to that Was was also apply from the UK side. So it's kind of ratcheted up the political pressure you know, on in both parts of their business, surely Yes. So they are getting pressure from all sides. Not just something you came to. The U. S. In some positions, they can take the fetal sides happy so But trying to be trying to walk a line between them, which sees the increasingly difficult Do you think things matters are going to get worse? And how does it affect the business going forwards? It's a UK bank, but that makes most of its money in Asia. Well, exactly of you should go back with the ancient history of HSBC in the late eighties early nineties recognized this issue, which is why they part of reason why they decided first byway and size of Midland Bank and build up a business. Outside of Asia more than they had at the time, and that was, in part at least a recognition that the situation could become more difficult. Posi handover of Hong Kong in 1997 Now what we've seen since 1997 attempts become a global bank has hit some some brake blocks from headwinds off late, So now they find themselves in a situation where There probably is exposed to Asia optically Hong Kong as they have ever been on that places them in a very difficult position. Because see they want to continue doing business in Hong Kong that increasing against me that they got here to the lines of China, But of course that puts a man on a collision course with Earth. With the U K and the Y the West. So how do you think that this is going to be expressed then? Potentially in earnings? I don't think we're going to really see anything. Take Lee and the earnings on this Aziz yet we're really in the Very early stages off this spook growing political contest between between China and Hong Kong itself. These Already in a family, the procession and that that is really with us China trade tensions or the problems we've we've been talking about just now, that's more to do with Corona virus before about the political people. We saw lately in Hong Kong. I think they probably were looking more 5 10 years out. It could be the case that you start to see a kind of maybe death of 1000 cups and those who have so little losses here and there now see that that is very well aware of that on there going to be looking through everything they can to make sure that that happens. Things are they increasingly difficult environments in which to do business, particularly in a country like China. Where are you? The Life of Christina Rossetti
"On this episode of five minutes in Church history, let's talk about a poet. Christina Rosetti she was born in eighteen thirty, and she died in eighteen, ninety four. She was born into an Italian family in London. This was a very artistic family to her. Brothers were painters, and she was a poet. Her father was a poet, and he taught at King's College. He was a political exile from Italy and spent his final decades in London and in England and of course. Course Christina Rosetti would spend her entire life in England. And as she was turning twenty, she became engaged, but it was broken off when he converted to Roman Catholicism. She would remain single the rest of her life. Since the age of twelve, she wrote poetry that was eighteen, forty two. This was the era of Tennyson and Dickens and the Bronte's in Elizabeth Barrett Browning, this was the era of Victorian literature, and into that Pantheon is the poet, the Anglican poet Christina Rosetti. Her First Book of poetry was published in eighteen, forty seven. She was seventeen years old. It was published by her grandfather. Her first commercially published book of poetry was published the next year in eighteen, forty eight. It was later in eighteen, sixty, two that her book, the Goblin market and other poems was published. That was probably one of her most famous poems in the book that sort of put her on the map so to speak. She wants wrote. How beautiful are the arms which have embraced Christ the hands which have touched Christ? The is which have gazed upon Christ, the lips which have spoken of Christ. The feet which have followed Christ Christina Rosetti followed Christ as a poet. She loved to use Simi's in her poems. You know what a simile is a simile comparison using Laker as in her poem birthday. She uses a whole string of them. She says my heart is like a singing bird whose nest is in a watered shoot. My heart is like an apple tree, whose bows are bent with thickset fruit. My heart is like a rainbow shell that paddles and Halcion see. My heart is gladder then all these because my love is come to me, so she used the similarly in another poem eight better resurrection. She uses to similarities to talk about herself. She says my life is like a faded leaf. My harvest dwindled to a Husk. Truly my life is void and brief. And tedious and the Baron Dusk. My life is like a frozen thing, nobod-, nor greenest can I see yet rise it's Xiao the sap of spring oh Jesus Reisen me. She then follows. My Life is like a broken bowl, a broken bowl the cannot hold one drop of water for my soul or cordial and the searching cold. CAST in the fire, the parish thing melt and remold it till it be a Royal Cup for him, my King Oh Jesus drink of me well, she wrote many poems. She wrote to Christmas carols. She wrote books of non fiction. And in eighteen ninety two. She wrote a commentary on the book of revelation. That same year. She had surgery for cancer. And two years later in eighteen, ninety four, she died in London. Well. Let's go back to that poem in here it again. My Life is like a broken bowl, a broken bowl that cannot hold one drop of water for my soul or cordial in the searching cold cast in the fire, the parish thing melt and it till it be a Royal Cup for him my king. "Also it's also came to be known as the bridge keeper story. There once was a bridge that spanned of large river during most of the day. The bridge was raised allowing ships pass through underneath on the river but at certain times each day train would come along in the bridge would need to be lowered allowing the train to cross above a switchmen sat in a shack on the side of the river where he was the one that operated the controls to lower the bridge and lock it into place as the train crossed when evening as the switchmen was waiting for the last train of the data. Come off in the distance and through the dimming twilight. He caught sight of the train lights. You stepped onto the control and waited until the train was within a prescribed distance. Lower the bridge. He did lower the bridge in a position but to his horror. You found out that the locking control work. If the bridge was not securely locked in position it would cause the train to jump the track and go crashing into the river and this is a passenger train with many people aboard women and children and everybody. He left the bridge running across and hurried toward the walking switch that he'd have to manually hold down to lock the tracks in place so that the train could cross the river. You'd have to hold this lever firmly as the train crossed and he could hear the rumble of the train now so he really grabbed the lever and put all his weight into it locking the bridge. He kept applying pressure to the locking mechanism knowing that many lives depended on strength then coming across the bridge from the direction of his control shack. He heard a sound that made his blood run cold. Daddy where are you is four year old son was visiting? That work is work that day and was crossing the bridge to look for him. His first impulse was to cry out loud to the child run run. The train was to close. The tiny legs would never make it across the bridge in time. Man Almost left has lever to snatch up his son and carry him to safety but he realized if he would do this it would not be able to hold the lever down and save his the train if he saved his son so either many people on the train were going to die where he was going to have to let his son die. Would a terrible choice? So what choice would you have made if it was between your duty? If you were responsible for the lives on the train. The women children the elderly..

"There are real Osam bucket religious. Yeah I mean unfortunately right now. I'm more nervous that we won't qualify than I am hopeful that we'll win. It wouldn't cost the candidate Bro. And we didn't have our best players and I have total confidence in Greg like I said he is. It is an amazing coach. And I think the US team's GonNa do well they will qualify But we're still still pretty far behind some of these big clubs but that being said Greg got a few years to implement his tactics and like I told you earlier. A team with good tactics can beat a team of superstars. I agree but you never know but Definitely by twenty twenty six If Greg still the coach and he's had that time to bring up younger guys within the system that already get it and stuff like that at at the expectations will be really really high for sure. I think that would be possibly the first time we could actually have a go at it. We've been close in the past You know an important Korea I mean But you know we could get there again okay. So short has a year a little bit more nervous about twenty twenty two definite. I mean coming off of the not qualified right. I mean we haven't qualified for Olympics in forever since I went since I went. We haven't qualified now. We don't qualify for the most recent World Cup so there's a little bit of a trend there and so that's nerve nerve wracking right friend or any fan. And that's what I am now just a fan of the US So for share got confidence that they will but I'm not naive to say that Costa Rica and Guatemala and Honduras. They're getting better too they they are. They're producing better players more organized. That was always the thing. They had good players but they weren't organized and now they're these teams are getting a little bit more organized. So they're suffered a against is partially to blame for that. Unfortunately there's a Lotta Central American players in the most. That's all I got anything else. Nope got might degrade enjoyed that. Yeah Mike Honestly can't can't they enough for hopping on Maybe we'll bring you back when when the. Us is winning games in L. F. E. Because they're you know looking like the world champions that. I think they are the case. Hey Wanna see us do well. But his point me just fucking didn't make the World Cup so start with baby steps. Did Haters Keser haters all right. Thanks Mike. Come on. "That I'm sure you were. I'm sure you had so much shit going on inside Bro. Yeah definitely I I was. I was nervous as hell leading up to that game so nervous. I mean it was so similar to my are run in Columbus right we will host MLS Cup were definitely the favorites and replanting at Portland. It's the same thing and so everyone is like of course if the land is GONNA win of course Atlanta's GonNa win and I'm sitting there thinking like Holy Shit this is Deja Vu like please no please no I. I do not want that feeling of being in the locker room again. It's terrible. What a terrible feeling but I mean the night went perfectly and the atmosphere. That night is probably the probably. The best atmosphere ever played in Just insane goosebumps all the time when I watch it back. Today just goosebumps. I was at that game and yeah that was that was insane. The amount people were there just the atmosphere the vibe in the stadium. I mean the weather. Outside was the only damper on the occasion. It was like thirty degrees in like sleet. It was just nasty outside. Wasn't really tailgating or anything like that. Which is a part with a. We had no. We had made no plans for after the game because not jinxing it like so much. Columbus was life preparing for afterwards talking about plans. And this and that I was like okay. I am not making a single plan. I'm not talking about it like what if we win. Like we'll figure it out and so after the game or like trying to figure out what the hell the plan is where we're going and stuff like nobody's got a ride not can drive so we're all standing outside the stadium. It is pissing down. He said it's draining though hard. And we're just out there waiting for Uber's taxes and stuff. It was a disaster but as I mentioned at least already buzzed and the and had a trophy waiting for me. You gotta you can sit as on you to answer but you gotTa pick one may gear Joseph off Man That's that's really tough We got time. Take your time joking. It's up to you don't have to. I just I just WANNA know. You've you've played with them and I I've I've played against them in. I paid a fucking minute of it. Song Foreign Yeah. I don't know I I guess I guess I picked Joseph The dude is an absolute animal. Yeah I mean talk about a guy. Clint Taylor on maybe was a a similar When I played with him just off the field Joseph and I have a really good relationship and Joseph is quiet and states to himself and he's not really close with a lot of guys I wouldn't say but him and I've always had a really good relationship. We're close and I I love Joe and when he is over the line I mean talk about a competitor. You will tell you how it is and what he feels no matter who. You are what you're done what they did the week it is or what your title is within the team and sometimes to a fault. Because I've seen him walk off training fields. I've seen him fuck off coach like I've never seen any player. Fuck off approach But regardless on the weekend when it's Gametime this guy shows up against anybody in any situation I mean like any great goalscorer. This guy throws his body on the line. I mean the challenge Zach. He would go up against a goalie when I'm standing in the back and I'm seeing this cross and I'm seeing the goalie come out and I'm seeing Joseph lining up to jump on and off. Please don't jump please. Don't jump in this guy jumps and you're like Holy Shit. This guy's fucking fearless just an absolute killer And he is the best I remember. I remember a goal I think in Orlando and he when he collided with someone and his knee bent backwards and He scored one. But it's like when you have. I mean just that commitment number one obviously the production or me goals Change Games. Goals wins game and this is coming from offender but to the bucket striker like that. No one that you got that on your team might God like walking Horse Dude. I mean even when we played poorly the first two years like we could. We could play really poorly. And Miguel and Joseph Five seconds of Brilliance. And we win one zero. We went to one whatever it is. And you're like man. These guys are just on another level. That was fun to watch man. Yeah they were. They were something else especially at that cup. Run those guys beguel this one. How gend up at a strip club that that The the money thing is is So the night of molest Capos really underwhelming right. Because we didn't plan anything. The weather was so shit The team is at two different places Because there's no organization raw texting in a group. Everyone's Shit House like asap. So it's a really underwhelming night so then the night of the parade so. This is on couplings on Saturday so Monday. We have a parade on Monday Tuesday. That night we all meet up and so this is not everybody but probably twelve fifteen guys good group of guys and somehow were able to bring a cup out with us. Somebody from the club is like over with with the cup brings it to us. He's like I gotta stay cups coming home with me and like things get Outta hand. Of course I mean really adamant and but like before things like Super Dan. I posted a picture on instagram. I think maybe it's like me a bunch of with a Cop. We're saying like where. Where should we go next But we stay in there for like a couple more hours. Everyone drinking from the cup and I mean she the germs on this thing but we still really fun anyway. So now it's like one thirty or something more o'clock and for me. That doesn't go out much. I Mike at my limit way past my limit and the these guys are talking. Let's go to the Strip club and I'm like guys. No let's bring the cups is stripped off and I'm like guys because the guy that was in charge of the Cup has now left. He said Parkey. You take the COP show. He starts to all right. I'll take don't worry like nothing will happen to these guys are all. Were going to the Strip club going on my guys. This good deal. I'm not going I'm not gonNA and and So I'm like I say names. I pass responsibility to cut off to somebody else. I'm like Dude. You're in charge like this is unreal. I'm texting the guy like can charge so a few of US take off. We go home so I don't go to the Strip club. I everyone thinks I did because of the picture I post with Sony whereas the Cup goes to the Strip club at I mean I see video evidence the next day you know these girl. The Cup gets broken the next day the president is supposed to go on the morning news with the cup and so they're all trying to locate the cup the next morning they can't find it they finally find it. The guy picks it up. The thing is like tilted because it's broken one of the handles is like half off as so fucked In the guys could bring it on the news here in the next hour or something so They were not happy with us the next day for sure. I we all had to show up the next day For physicals and the meetings and stuff like that they were not happy. But also stresses good chance right warmer follow-up who celebrated the cup the most they don't get details of holiday celebrated who who threw down one wildcards. I mean Jeff. Jeff can throw down Lorenzo deficit big guy and he wants to throw down. He can throw down hard. He's got he's not jeff together New England so we go back and He could always throw down So he enjoyed Christmas. That can that's sad classic. He's got the Irish blood sale and those guys are best friends so they They they could enjoy themselves during. That's great yeah. Finally good memory from a mosque up. Anything all right well. Let's go through so I always do this. I called rapid fire for branding purposes. Even though I don't really know shit about branding but I just got like I'll throw some questions some of these random but I'll just sort of throw matter gave thought so two thousand and nineteen you you call it quits right so this is fresh in your mind here. Was there a moment during the season where you're like? Yup I gotta get out of this. This is playing against these twenty two year. Old Guys. This is this is fucking killing me here. Yeah there were. There were a few moments I'll say that coming into the season I thought this could be my last one I didn't want to retire after the club. I thought I thought I could play longer What coming into the season. I only signed a one year deal and I thought you know what this could be. You know we'll see how it goes but you know I I WanNa make sure that enjoy this last year because this could be it and that preseason was so hard for me so hard a my first two weeks. I legitimate felt like every training session I had five pound ankle weights on. It was the first time in my career like playing. Little Rondo. Five itunes or playing small sided games. Where a ball with pat right by my feet and I couldn't react quick enough to stop it or block it or or defend a guy and I was like a few times even during the training session. I don't think to myself what the Fuck Dude. Why can't you move though? It is tough. I mean I so that was that was the first sign a holy Shit. This is like so difficult. The preseason was so hard for me to get back into my full-on shape So that was the first one but I finally got there and you know I was playing and played well but then miles Robinson came on. I mean the dude is an absolute animal and he is so good and so I took a back seat to him and And that that time was tough for me because I was thinking this could be the last season I'm not one of those guys Told myself a while ago that I would not be one of those guys played as long as possible just to make a paycheck in an ride the bench and be one of those guys that place just a few games a year like nothing against the guys that do but the for me. I just couldn't do it and didn't WanNa do it. Though I was living through it right then where I didn't play for like ten straight games there was a while and You know you lose like even though you want to be supportive of the team and have a good attitude and stuff you know mentally. It's just not the same So in that time I was like you know what this is making it easier for me. This has been making my my decision easier because I don't WanNa do this. I know how this feels and I know that the miles is the future and I understand that but this isn't for me so that that made it easier and I'm glad that I got to play again at the end of the season and go out the way that I did was playing but the decision was made during that time when I was applying much. I've been there briar rose so much pine I got bedsores to the Nice thing about riding the Pied Atlanta's they got real nice. Comfy chairs recline a little bit. You can get real comfortable in ride. I didn't ride in our pine to like a good day. That was still like Bayer back on the fucking Metal Bullshit. Getting scoliosis not playing. I'm like this Bertil dench. I'm going I'm glad to hear the fucking race car seats. What's the next look nice? They always did look nice from the from the TV. All right. Who's the toughest striker year at to go up against? Yeah I would say worldwide..

"On today's show season three episode for the Endless Cup I'm going to be reading from chapter four of the Dow Dejduang and then commenting on it after that we will have a short break and afterwards I will talk personally about some of my life experiences coming up on your favorite podcast show cup of Dow starting right now. You're listening to a COUPLA. Dow with your host Chris. L. Mcleish Chris's a man with many roles many juries in one spirit hello. How are you today. Eh I am well like you caught up in sometimes the day to day stuff that I guess we all lose track because the important thing sometimes in life because we get caught up in things but anyway let's dive into today's topic about the Endless Cup this time I will be doing reading from Chapter Four. I'm going to be using the Derek Lin. Nineteen Ninety four translation of the dowd aging chapter four the Dow is empty utilize. It does not filled up so deep. It seems to be the source of all things it blunts. The sharpness unravels the nights dims. The glare mixes the dust so indistinct it seems to exist. I do not know whose offspring it is. It's image is the predecessor of God so so in this chapter. We learned that the Dow is an endless cup a source of all things. This is the theme that will be repeated over the next few chapters. The Dow is not just the source it has active influencing things intervenes and regulates. Where did it come from. We don't know who made the Dow or why it exist is older than any source or I cause that we can can imagine way before humans way before Earth. It's ancient we and everything that we have done will someday someday be dust. The Dow will always be as it is the endless source of all that there is. It's truly that bottomless a cup of soup. We can only scratch the surface chains of interconnections things like mice helium networks physical laws and all our theories only scratched the surface of an incomprehensible force that we are all part of those who are nihilist would say it's offer nothing that our lives are meaningless but do we know that for sure. Could it be that we're part of something larger than ourselves. Everything's connected. Live your life like it really matters because it just may I'm going to take a short break. The no come back and talk a little bit about what's going on with me. Be sure purchase my book accepting life on life's terms. Dowa psychology for today's uncertain times. "All right guys saves or episode forty two welcome back. It is it's one of those unorthodox weeks. I guess we'll call it. We don't really have any legit EP L games to talk about or preview, but we do have other ships. Get a Cup reviews. We got make believe Cup previews. We got some special segments here with source of mid week care midseason. Let's let's call him a wards. But before we get to all that number one. Mikey follower. How're you doing Mike? Welcome back. I'm doing very well excited. I did a lot of preference. I got my eleven I got my Ward's. I got my surprises ready. Boy were we actually did a little prepping. This is going to be a special. This is a fun one. I'm really excited for this. So like you said, we don't have EPL games just regular EPL gains. What we do have FA Cup. Let's let's start there. So this weekend. This is the first round of ethical games were all the teams are in there. There wasn't a you know, sort of huge upset it's not like, you know, Manchester United loss to Newport city. The worst upsets in fact, you called one of them Akron Accoring in Stanley, the Chad of English soccer will call them pull out the one zero win over Ipswich. There were some EPL clubs that went down. So Huddersfield full whom and Cardiff all lost interesting, which is very interesting because these are three relegation contenders. Not saying there's like a conspiracy, you know going on here. Just going to connect some dots. The game obviously long chef for these clubs to ever win. You know that Cup given the the the big the big boys that are there swinging their balls around in it's still so that saying they took dives to focus on the league. But I mean, three of them all lose on the first FA Cup. You know game. This just it smells like they took a dive, which honestly, I don't even blame them. I mean, I'd ING is way more important way. More important way, more important. Yeah, it's interesting that those three teams chose to go out, actually. Yeah. Very very interesting. You may use the right words that chose to go. Yep. There are some other EPL losses. So Lester lost you officially killed Lester, you breathe back into their low than than you absently killed them by getting on their band. Anybody can Venema me fifty dollars. And then tell me something that they want me to wish the opposite for it to happen. And it's a shoe. I'm gonna start a side business. I have actual superpowers that have just now becoming aware of if you want me to do anything feel like I should be putting this power to good. So let me wish something upon you in the opposite will happen just send me semi attacks. Tweet little side gig. You got you got Bruin there? I mean that was unbelievable. I just was giving out sniffers and I gave out Lester twenty five to one boom. Just like that lead to Newport county. Ex-? Unbelievable. Get your shit together. Fox's I carry losses for the club's borne Muth lost Brighton. So it's not a huge upset, but man cherries defense. You guys are just fucking clone show. But I will say they made some moves again the Klein in the transfer window on loan from Liverpool. I love that mov-. I've always been sort of fan of client. How didn't catch on more with Liverpool? I think it goes to show just how good guys like Trenton Alexander Arnold have really burst onto the scene and basically sidelined him. But I think that the client is a good player. So I think I think that's a good move for more. I'm upset he slipped through arsenal. I don't know why we didn't give a look we're not going to happy about that either. I mean, he flipped as one of my that was one of the highlights of my year so far Neil. We're not just going beserk going ape shit. Like he thought he was going to get like a booty call from Thana climb. And you know. You call somebody else. I mean client claims rate had a whole lot to do with the the twenty million paid for selling key. I mean, it was it was funny that you know, defense is just a total clown show, and they spent twenty million dollars on an exciting. But yet unproven strikers striker Timet born of what are you?.

"All right now, we are back and molest Cup is done. Congrats tant Lanta congrats to the United, Greta. Georgia. I guess the entire state got got the monkey off their back. So to speak. And it will be interesting to see where the team goes from here. Given the the high highs of the season losing losing the coach losing some players. We'll see but congrats revel in it enjoy it while he can and we will move on now to the English Premier League. Where I I guess it's fair to say that we we suddenly have an EP L title race. Would you do that? Yeah. I think that's fair to say just based on where we currently stand. If you were to tell me which team I'd be more scared of going undefeated, it would've been city think they're better, obviously. But. You want to call it a race. I guess it's technically on. I mean, I don't know how long this race is gonna last hit might be more of sprint than than a marathon. So I guess we should just enjoy it while it lasts. But the reason we have a title race is because Chelsea came out of nowhere. So we'll start with the big game here. Big game of the weekend was Chelsea hosting city and Chelsea came out of nowhere, and sorta sort of took it to city ended up when two zero and I guess really the takeaway here is, you know, Manchester City is human after all, you know, they they did not look good. Chelsea look pretty good wasn't like Chelsea look like world beaters out there. But you know, they they they were the better team. I would say, and they came up with the two zero win what what were your sort of takeaways from this? They were able to dictate the tempo. First and foremost, if you're ever gonna have a chance of city in your team like Chelsea. With the more physically based to get inside playing more physical style, especially at home, especially in big games. And they were able to kinda dictate deputy. I thought has Quinta that Louise really good Dan of the day. They you know, where the more physical sign they were better in the midfield. I thought leader Sunday was particularly wasteful for a few really good chances out for. And you know, Conde was clinical on his which is crazy sentence move. It may be the most unlikely score on the pitch. And then, you know, Louis, but the icing on the cake at the end, it's just a classic grinded out desires way more impressive than the two shutout Manchester City in any game. This season seemed like an impossible task Chelsea has like mad at times time kick shit had a jealousy. So maybe you know, the league has a little more parody at the top the way initially sought. Yeah. In fact, we could we could do quick voicemail. You know what let's do it. Let's let's this. We got a Chelsea fan who's real how real high on on the win real high on himself. So here we go. Here. You're welcome. I'm beatable mattress eighty so. Yeah. Premier Li and you know, once again, the big brother has to show how. Needs to be done. Like that. I like that a lot first of all. Thank you. Thanks voicemail. Second of all you were definitely drunk. Whether you've heard of all he's not wrong. I will say they do I like saying that. Well, the first thing the first things I texted me was he was pissed about the two points drop that United. He's like it's on. We can win the league. I love that about him. Of course. I was thinking that too like Chelsea right off the bat. Like, you know, thank you for making making the EP L title race, more interesting for everybody. I will say it's not great. It's not a great result for arsenal and Tottenham specifically because I still, you know, I've been saying all along I think Liverpool and city are a cut above everybody else. So that leaves three teams, and I'm definitely not including United in this in this cut. So leaves Chelsea arsenal. Tottenham fighting for two spots to in that top four. You know, this is a big result for Chelsea gives them confidence..

"We're back. It is SAM's army episode thirty-something iron. No at this point. We just got done with the MLS Cup. We're lanta. We got a hell of a game. But I we got everybody. Here. We got a whole group who was a lot of fun. Wocka flacco joined us for a minute. Walk is here actually, say Hello. Hello. I'm walk-a-thon. Tyler everybody say hi to Tyler. We've got Mike podcast, and we also have Logan on the mic. So we just got done with Alaska. Moscow hasn't spoken yet. But I fear you we has grown out here. Yeah. I'm here. Not be on the couch hall is now we're all in. So long story short Atlanta just broke the streak of you know, eternal losses. In Atlanta in Atlanta for four later. Right. Both really Georgia thing, it's not just alien. It's more just Georgia thing. Aga major title in fire. It's gotta be since the since the Braves ninety latest one title more recently. The Boston though, somewhat say, we're Titletown. The t shirts but lie crazy. Never one hawks. Sam Sam was only twenty five no Braves rashes. That's it Thrashers were in there for a little bit. Like a whole couple years that ended very poorly. Great. So two zero Atlanta dose herons doses. Zero. I was I was initially. We're gonna talk about the game. There's not a lot. Honestly to talk about from the game itself. You guys you guys had a real up close and personal view is sort of the birds so first half, Mikey and Sam we're the press box being nerd herd. Siler and I were down on field level being actually actually the first avenue. Solvers that. Yeah, we were filming a video down there. And then we some house Snuka Mikey down there. Yeah. We had a hell of a time on the radio and salmon, I took what for the for the team going the press box. I mean, I was fine. It was it was amazing view of the you. Prove you proved your fight with it. When we were down the field for celebrations. You were like knob gonna fear. I was still I was good. The last one we went up to get you the older one of the press box really working on the stories and Sam just looking at the field. Like, this all just just has just dropping. All right. How has it since the twentieth? Minute just staring at the field wide. Open hate to be near the field. No. He's got a plate of food. That's going bad jurisdiction. I was I was a little clipped. I would say at the end of the game. What does that word mean? I was a little mostly touch a good work. Great work. I don't know where it came for less idea. I don't even can't define it for you. I use. We did. It was an awesome moment. Not just for Atlanta. But honestly for the MLS this is this is a great day a great game. That was in say that that was an American soccer game. What do you think about seventy plus thousand Joe pug thousand seven hundred dollars which was the record, right? Is it is it MLS, Iran? Something our world. It was to this broke two records. I'm guessing ahead to break one for an MLS game break maybe a Cup final record to had been final. And then I pose. The question is is that the largest home audience that's ever seen won a championship of their home team home team 'cause Atlanta nobody's hosted a Super Bowl. And what it? And they'll beat doesn't get the seventy thousand dodge closest stadium. Close enough. No Dodger Stadium. No, seventy that's. I think the only the only options would be maybe a college. But like, I just ate is fifty six thousand I swear to guided look that up that's an amazing. Yes. I mean now in the modern era, it's all neutral fields in college. But I was thinking college football like if you know, how state they they got a big stadium or like, Tennessee. They don't get. Chip game, though. So if so MLS it'd be like US home, it was just going to be here regard. Title in the make no. The better team with the better record gets home gets hold in the match. I do like the NBA straight out that make sense like fucking beat the all star game, which is dubbed things. That's a horrible idea. But no, it's just straight up. Like, this is my brag my second final one in LA. But it's still whoever Lou..

"But there's one question that came to mind that I should've had written down and it's it's basically there's there is an inherent conflict between winning something like the Gold Cup in next summer. You know, the go Cup, twenty nineteen and Dowding for the World Cup twenty twenty two. You know, it's, it's tough. You wanna have your best players out there and win that tournament in twenty nineteen. But at the same time you wanna you wanna you wanna have the players that need the experience and will be the best players in twenty two also on the field. You know. So can you walk me through that conflict in your mind which way you typically would go between? You know, playing the best players, the best, eleven twenty nineteen versus you know, having the players that you think are going to be the best in twenty twenty two. Well, my quick version my quick answer is I have that conflict for all the friendly's that ideal with currently? Yeah. Where do you? How do you? How do you blend in veterans and guys that you think can still be a part of things down the line, whether it's two years and qualifying or four years? A cutter. And how do you also use the young guys? And to answer your question about the Gold Cup, anytime you're in the competition, you wanna win it. And anytime you're in a competition, you wanna win it with players that can help you win. And so the the all the programming to this point and and building in twenty nineteen until we get to the Gold Cup will be moving in the direction so that if we do introduce different older, whatever you wanna call him veteran players for Cup purposes, that may not be there at cutter, but we've already begun that that transformation in transition process. Yes. So that's how it sort of moves along. So it's always a conflict of using opportunities for the young and then also players that you feel can get you where you need to go. But the very clear when you get in a competition like goal, Cup and fall, you're there for one reason only to win it and and so it's it's a, it's a real real blend. Okay. Well, Dave, this has been amazing. Can't can't take enough one last thing. Have you seen Christian pulisic walk on water, yes or no? No, haven't seen that yet. It's only matter time. Well, they've been great, really can't. Thank you. Know my cladding to you. You. Well, let's look go US, maybe. Thank you. Thank you, man. Bye. Bye. Take care. So that was the interview what they Ciragan. We are looking forward to doing a lot more of those, but for now we will move on. So welcome back. Everybody we have got on this. So with barstool Sam myself, we have barstools are and Mikey podcast how you guys do it, what's up, what's up. It's going on man. Walk back everybody. So you guys, we got a lot of stuff to talk about here. We can run through it real quick. Thankfully, we don't have a lot of mid week stuff to talk about because I am personally religiously opposed to analogy the distance of the what I call the the make believe League Cup Antill say the semi finals or so we're not really agree with that. I think he's cop out of talking about a terrible performance personally. Well, that's true that may actually play, but at least I do have a long history of, you know, say on the at least I am on the record of Narita forever at least on Twitter. So I don't know that actually counts trust me, we've we've learned anything this week is that, is that what you say on Twitter does count on the record? Actually everything everything no matter when you know count in no context. The context context. Okay, so we'll move right along to top stories. So we've got to got written down here. So number one, there was reports from all sorts of people that VA are. Everybody knows how much I love the a are. So VR is coming to the Champions League next season. So I've spoken at length about this. You know, I, I love it for objective calls. I hate it for subjective calls. What are you guys saying where you guys come down on the a are and what do you think about putting it in place for the champion Lewis? So I am. I'm not a fan of ER at all by traditionalist on..

"The previous seasons if you get the more yet to get top four you're going to be in the champions league if you got from my fifth to eighth you're going to be in the second tier called the europa league and then there's there do you how these bigger tournaments include other turn other countries and then you have other clubs in those countries and then you have your domestic cup right it's kind of like a march madness knockout thanks so there's really three things you should focus on the domestic cup which said much madness style you have the league best after thirty games and then if you your team did well enough the previous season you qualify for it as bigger tournament which has more prestige and that's it it's a three pronged attack if you got that down everything else is gonna be gravy it seems complicated 'cause they're all playing at the same time yeah i that's true that's true and it also gives you the best of both worlds a lot of people talk about how epl needs a playoff at the end of the season no it doesn't because they have they have they already have the playoff one game knockout winter winter go home through the fa cup through the domestic cup and so there's it's the best of both worlds with all these different competitions going on overall i say this about the playoffs really quick i wish molest would go to a straight table where you just played thirty four games and whoever was the best because i feel like that rewards the team that was the best over ten months and not the hottest team at the end of the season that's good for four weeks and that's why biggest complaint about playoffs very american i grew up here i love the play offs i love everything that does a level the great moments that come out of it but when it comes to shine to show who the best team is over a season i think it's a shitty way to do it frankly and i'm glad that a domestic cup exist because you have that one off tournaments you kind of scratch that age but you also rewarding the team that was the best over ten months and i think that's the most fairway and democratic way to do it it's also a good way to boost the importance of the us open cup which we don't do here we we don't have enough time in this podcast for me only get into it but it makes me so upset sunday sunday we'll fix after we got this whether whether whether it's through more podcasts or not we will see but can't thank you guys enough for supreme download and all that stuff really appreciate it from bottom my heart and jimmy can't thank you enough for coming on i love you guys already miss you and take care guys have been real all jagan on them seaming outed mclean any seven <music> <music> <music> this sweat dren

"Makes a difference and it keeps the dream alive for a lot of players that could make significant impact and somebody who was a late bloomer who didn't add to go didn't get drafted an emmy last played in these leagues and then got an emmy last and had to fight my way into the national team playing world cup those lower leagues in that they are so important so i if you even if you have an ms cup go support them as well i mean it it's an important part of it and you might not agree with the business structure you might not agree with how the games developing in this country but they're still needs to be an effort towards supporting the players in the process and so i really cruise you to do that and then as an american as we tend to do we all support like four different in different countries so i played for sporting kansas city for most of my career so there my number one mls team and then i support newcastle in england and then because i do the soup stuff to actually behooves me to choose other clubs so i love atlantico ridden spain they really actually speak to me as a person they represent my plane style as a hard worker that just fought for everything and that's letsie barcelona super talented real madrid by all their players even though they're super talented as well you know everybody's got their philosophies and styles and you just there's a club out there that speaks to you so i encourage you to support local get behind your local teams whether no matter what division they are in this country and then pick a team or two that are across get to know their their team a little bit and i think you're gonna have a blast because when you watch a game on twitter whatever there's always thousands of other people watching the same game and you get tapped into this community that is unlike anything else and you probably gonna taste of it during the world cup so i go highly encourage you to go find a team sport somebody and then there's also and i will do a little plug for for the the blogs that i do i'm focused mainly during the season on epl and champions league with i touch on lalita and boom slogan siri is well just because you know there's great soccer everywhere don't want to just limit it but we'll have a a a guide to picking pl club team i do it every year right before the season starts week week or two before as you said you know don't just pick a team for one reason or two reasons you know just give it let it let it grow organically within your you know there's no need to jump in and pick a team just i love i love you i love it you do that by the way i think it's really important so i encouraged people your app are still sam is that what it is on twitter and i imagine me conrad so if you wanna reach out to us tell us what team you support in any other sport and we'll find a club from around the world that is like minded to that you know if you support the packers we'll figure out a club of that that has a lot of history that's what a lot of championships in the past but hasn't done it recently maybe that's liverpool for you know what i mean so there's a lot of different ways that we can find a comparison for for the sports team that you currently support so just to reach out i think we would love to have that do that exercise guys make that happen absolutely so the next few weeks they'll be they'll be for talk that'd be mls and then the ep l and and bundesliga and everything champions league will in europe elite you know gets marshall fans out there should give them a shout out so know there's there's all sorts of it's a complicated ecosystem of soccer and you know it isn't it isn't it is it once you get tapped in once you realized okay they have a league okay like league anywhere else they played most of them play thirty eight games and the best team after thirty games the champion all right i think i can understand that even if you didn't graduate high school i think you can still understand that concept and then there's some outside tournaments that you qualified for from.

"The field off the field intrigue so that one was a good one brazil belgium was a game as well i mean there was there was there's a lot of games but that's being portugal one i think is number one for me that's actually one i had this number one well the other ones i had listed you know as being almost as good i had japan belgium was just you know the way that japan came out and to donate the game but came up went up to zero and they were going to be knocking belgium one of the favorites out was hennion belgian the way they came back and that goal they scored what we'll get to that a minute but argentina france was another one that was that was lot of fun really entertaining game to watch personally urwah portugal was just massive because it was a battle between like a death a death match between me and the haters 'cause i've been like shitting on portugal and and ronnie the whole procedure previews and a lot of people should again me and her wise darkhorse which ended up not working out but at least at least if portugal had beaten going game i would look like a real more on even bigger more than rem i was so happy that url came through that so yeah there was just a tone and then obviously final four to six holes in the game that everybody's watching that's it wasn't a greatest game but it was entertaining and a lot of talking points yeah i'll agree with that because the three previous nel's were tight they've always been so tight so that early goal is france did look a little tight start that early goal i think allow them to relax particular i came out the way the france was playing and they were sitting back and i thought it was just they were going to play for one nothing win yeah yeah yeah exactly what they did against belgium so i was like he's doing it again i was so disappointed in the shop i ended up complementing to shop at the end because he did press the right buttons he had the courage to take out kante input on in right after that happened two more goals so i don't know if it's due to that but it does seem like whatever was working he did it and now this is a guy that that one world cup ninety eight is a player and now he did it as a manager and you just can't take it away from them you got to respect what he did on both on and off the field so i had to a bit of a shoutout even though people like to show up didn't do anything just got all the players yeah this hasn't good players but those guys in the right spot and and motivate them in the right way to play to their potential so this like that reminds me of hair hair cain being the golden ball winner where he got i mean a little lotta people shooting i'm on him on twitter for you know i think his goals were not like incredibly in but i think he had one that was like a complete deflections there was some as there was a header from like two feet out and people are saying always like the least impressive golden ball winter in in history and you know i of course just i would say i would say maybe his goals or the least impressive but in terms of being the play like schola cheap back in ninety like that guy pt like six or seven goals in that tournament never heard from again you know hurricanes impressive in a lot of different ways but yes i was disappointed though that he didn't score in the run apply outside of the one that hit his he'll everything was set he's the header oh this npa pieces so so it's just did he do enough to create you know he wasn't even doing that against panama or whatever then we could argue.

"In that and then behind all this there's a they federation that is in shambles at the moment and fan base that is in uproar and it's just it's not being talked about enough it probably won't get talked about enough before the game but an improbably not gonna do it justice people really know what's going on here but i'm gonna give the quick and dirty explanation so people know a little bit about it so part of the mentioned the legal issues that motor chin love and among others are facing at the moment and it all stems back to when they were sold from dino's aggressive croatian team motor to sold i think i atone and 'love into southampton begin this wrong but then they were both sold onto rail madrid and liverpool respectively in essentially the problem is that they are accused of handing over huge sums of money that they were supposed to get from those transfers the handed over to a guy i'm gonna i'm gonna butchers name but i'll give it a shot the drift co map much who was the ease the big deck of croatian soccer i mean he basically controls everything gration soccer kingpin guesses what you call them and so they gave the money over which is why they did that is that's a question mark whether it was due to loyalty whether you know there's some behind the behind the scenes on twisting who knows exactly what's going on right there but the problem was that they didn't pay taxes on it the players didn't and mahmut himself didn't pay taxes on it so you know that's one that's bad enough as is but my lauren mortgage both went into court and you know baldfaced lied of that the instead they hadn't on it when it seems pretty clear that the head done it so there's this there's this you know sinister back story going on here where half the half the not half but a big group of croatian fans are actually rooting openly rooting against croatian world cup the heaven all along and so you know because they want to they want the croatian team to lose than that they can go and clean house at the federation so it's just this all this is going on and swirling around the team which just makes it all the more impressive that they've gone on and continue to win and win and win and it actually goes back to something you said jimmy and one of the other podcasts or previous podcast we said you know playing soccer is actually a sanctuary for players sometimes and and so that's clearly what's going on here because on the field they've been doing great off field there's all these issues so it's it's just this it's a ridiculous situation it's it's all the more impressive that they've made it to a world cup final with all this going on and so yeah just head to head of you know want to give people a little for one old explanation what's going on there because we could argue we could argue that they're on the field performances mirroring what's happening off field because obviously they're dealing with a lot of adversity trying to do it in a way where we are you because as you mentioned we don't know all the details they're just trying to survive and it seems like that happen to them on the field they give up a goal no problem give a goal to give it the first goal in the last three knockout round games time it's ever happened woke up history and went on to win each one of and that speaks to what the curly made of in the mental capacity and and stamina let's say perseverance energy ositive enthusiasm and belief in themselves that they can get it done now also on top of it they hired a new coach seven months ago because the other one had a bad results they almost missed out on the world cup in qualified and he had to get a result and then they had to be greece over two legs to qualify the did all that and then they won their group and now they've come back in three straight knockouts crazy it's crazy i mean off the field on the field you put it all together and there's no reason why they should.
