Police Report Filed After Cardi B Throws Mic At Fan Who Tossed Beverage At Her During Vegas Show
"A woman hit by a microphone thrown by Cardi B during a performance over the weekend has filed a police report following the incident. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said on Monday Cardi B threw her microphone in the direction of a fan who tossed a drink at the rapper during her Las Vegas show. This was on Saturday. It's unclear if the concertgoer is the same person who filed the report. Spectators at the show caught the moment on video which showed a concertgoer throw a beverage at the rapper. Now while she is actually performing her song Bodak Yellow, Cardi B retaliated by pelting her mic at the fan who was escorted out by security moments later. A rep for Cardi B did not respond to CBS News' request for comment. The artist has yet to address the incident directly, but she did retweet a video of it. Prior to the incident, rapper Cardi B was heard asking audience members to splash some water on her. So she got exactly what she asked for. Now the incident marks a troubling trend of fans dangerously interacting with artists at live shows, Bebe Rexha, Drake, Harry Styles, Kid Cudi. They were all recently hit by cell phones from audience members at their shows. Country music star Kelsea Ballerini was also hit in the eye after a fan tossed a bracelet at the singer. Now Cardi B and this mic throwing incident happened during a outdoor set on Saturday at Dry's Beach Club in Las Vegas. Common sense is not so common. If you're a fan and you're going to a show to see your favorite artist, I don't care if it's Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, don't throw stuff on stage. That's common sense. These people are here performing, they're making money, they're doing what they do. Why would you throw something on stage? Why would you throw a beverage? Even if she's jokingly saying, splash me with water, she doesn't mean throw a beverage at her. That's common sense. I think what actually happens is people are turned up, they're drinking and they're having a good time and they just lose their selves in the ambiance of the moment. But common sense tells you if these people are on stage performing, Drake, Kid Cudi, people like that, very popular artists, obviously fans love them, they have adoring fans. But act like you got some common sense is basically what I'm trying to say. So we're going to keep you posted on this. Our Cardi B story again, she threw her microphone at a fan who basically tossed a beverage at her during a show in Las Vegas. You guys have been logged into another edition of Convo Over Cigars. "At like 55. No. I have to put a dollar every time I say okey dokey because it's lame. Okey dokey. Okay. Morgan's jar on the show should be the, by the way, and then not having anything else afterwards. True. Name a kind of soup that's not appropriate for the office. Chicken noodle. I thought he said soup too. Chicken noodle soup would be one of the best soups to bring into the office. Slide into bed with us starting right now. Welcome to nightly pop, you guys. It is our last show of the week. Are you devastated? Devastated. It is devastating. I can't even fear them that I have to enjoy my weekend now. Here's a weekend every day though. That 8 o'clock wake up. You are just fresh with daisy. All fresh and ready and. You know what's interesting though? You don't have wrinkles. About that. First of all, no wrinkles, but also yawns the most out of all of us on this show. You know what? Yawns. All the time. This medical issue for me, the yawning. The doctor says that I have something called tired of your guys. All right, we're gonna get started because a lot of people want to butt like Kim and J.Lo, and since most people don't have their genetics, BBLs are hot on the rise. But be careful, you might end up with buyers remorse guys, okay? So apparently Brazilian butt lifts are the most reverse procedure because as people get older, they want their original booties back. Yeah. That was a butt full of Reed. Yeah. It was. It was a lot of information there. I mean, this is a good discussion, right? Because if you think about it, do you want to be 65? No. With a big booty, you know, going into the AARP office. I don't know if that's the thing. But do you want to be like, do you really want to be, you know, well seasoned into your life, you're settling down your retiring, and you got this ant shaped body, is that what you want? It's like the hourglass, but if the hourglass was real droopy in the back. Yeah. I feel like it's just those things never age well. But then again, people do are older and have fake boobs. I've been having this conversation because I just talked to my best friend about this. I was like, I'm going to have to get a breast reduction at like 55. Really? You want to. Why? No. Don't. Please. Shut up. Listen. I'm begging you. Please. I think this is for the butler story and for your breast reduction. I don't think men should ever tell women what to do with their bodies. But I think we are within our right to tell you what not to undo. You know, like don't undo the meat. I am not going to be. I don't want to be a 6 year woman with these boobs. If I cared about your spine, I'd be orthopedic surgeon. You know what I'm saying? I'm your bird. For a good time, not a long time. A good time, not a long time. I agree. I also think it's a big surgery to go through. I'm scared, but I don't know. I don't know what to do. I'm gonna be walking around with a walker with these things. The 65 70? You don't have to put a walk or just put the tennis balls on the ground. You know what? By the way, at least he has an entire plan. I just think it's one of those things. Also, it's just like such a high we don't need to get into the boring beauty standard of it all. But I feel like you should just be accepting of what you have. And for the most part, my face is mine. So far. No, it is. I mean, I have an appointment. Today, but that's because I don't want it. All right, and it's in a cruel summer for celebrity couples. We lost Kim and Pete Laurie for being Mikey B Jordan because I know Mikey, I call him Mikey. We're Friends. Florence Pugh and Zach Braff, just to name a freak. We expect that one. I kind of love them together, though. I have to say. All right, so we have to ask the question, why is summer this season for so many splits? I think what I'm sad about is that all these people are breaking up and yet Megan Fox still wants to be with Machine Gun Kelly. They're really going strong. I really thought they were on the breakup. But you notice this is happening in August towards the end of summer summer. You know? So it's like it's interesting because it's usually happened. We usually have to break up before the summer. Because cuffing season is coming. Right. You know, cuffing season, the warm ups start in September, the tryouts are October. Right. You know, you pick your team by November. It's true, November is when you really blew that laid up. You watching Netflix, you ain't a snacks. It's true. Yeah, 'cause they say it's like fall back into relationships, spring into some Ho. Absolutely. I'm all about springing. That sounds fun. Yeah. Bring it into somehow. We got some time. We got until next spring now. Yeah, I have no more time. But also, I do feel like you're less, you have less patience in the summer. When it's hot outside, you don't have any patience for some bull. It's true. You want to just go and have a good time. And anything bringing down that vibe, you have no time for whatsoever. Yeah. Yeah, and also, this is like, this is a sad truth about how men's brains work. But you see a lot more women dressed in a lot less. And then you think to yourself, that looks fun. It is kind of unbelievable that men that is, it's literally that is all they think about the whole day. It's ridiculous. I hate it. Those ass. All right, and most of us probably need a swear jar, but Selena Gomez has something far more innocent. Before I introduce you to the star of the show, I have to introduce you again to the okie dokie jar. I have to put a dollar every time I say okie dokie because it's lame. Okie dokie. Okay Doki. Potatoes. Oh, unbelievable. Dala in the jaw. Well gosh darn it, huh? I mean, she's very innocent isn't she? She's a sweet girl. Very innocent. I didn't know anyone under 30 was saying, okie dokie. It would be really funny if she said it so many times that she financially went under and had to sell that beach out. She said. I like this. At least his wholesome, you know, we don't get a lot of wholesome stories to talk about. Do you guys have a word that you say that you're like, this is very old school? Like, this is very beaver, you know, leave it to beaver. Well, I say bye bye, but that's about it. Yeah. So does row. Morgan's Morgan's Morgan's jar on the show should be the, by the way, and then not having anything else afterwards. True. That would be more easy to draw for every time she says it's cold. That's another great thing. And by the way, not only cold, frigid. It's frigid. We would be able to buy new houses. It's freezing. I walk in and you're both so comfortable. Being a star would be like saying something that she knows applies to me, but doesn't want to say it out loud because it's maybe a little mean, so she'll go like this. I kind of agree with that. I like that. By the way, it still put those were your jars. Yeah, big jars. We should get jars and sit, that's what we should start to do. We should each get a little jar now. We shut us on the show, and then we each have to pay up for when we mess up. And then we'll use it to buy the staff drinks. Exactly. Yes, or keep it, but either way. I don't want to support their problem, you know? All right, let's move on because I've been wanting to talk about this for a long time. So Kid Cudi is rocking out with his sock out, okay? Fans are going wild after he posed without clothes for esquire magazine, and they even posted the image to Instagram, thoughtfully crediting the sock as Dior. I love it. Are you getting this for Jordan? The Dior saw? Yeah. I love a Dior socks. Sign me up for all the socks that say Dior. This is very sort of Red Hot Chili Peppers esque, right? Like a tube sock that was very Lenny Kravitz. Like I could see him doing that. Yeah. Hunter, would you be down to do this? Oh, yes, he signed him up. Pain sock? I can fit my whole penis into a no show, so. I get it. By the way, Nina, I took a video yesterday. Showed it to me. And I was like, hey, is this a good to post? And she was like, oh, yeah, it's cute. Turns out, a lot of comments are about something else that you did not. What did that mean? It's not noticed. What? Something in the pant area. What? You have.

"I think I'm going to love this too. It's going to be so good. It looks great. It's going to be so good. My kids are going to love that. I love how you're like, my kids are good. It's so bloody, it's so crazy. My kids are going to love it. My kids were raised by me, so it's like true crime, serial killer talking manually. Like really dark stuff. Your kids had a day. My kids are also 14 and 12 and like high school and older. But they can handle the program. Right. Yeah, okay. Here's €12 had a dateline theme birth before. So yeah, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, she's right. True crime. The series Wednesday drops this fall. Now, it's been a whole year of healing for Millie Bobby Brown. She talked to allure magazine about her struggles, growing up in the spotlight. Millie says she knows she's mature for her age, and people warned her about that. She says, hearing that was really hard because I thought maturity was a good thing. And then being told that it wasn't, that I wouldn't make it in the industry, it was so hurtful. I got really down about that. What do you guys think of that advice? I've never heard that before. I was going to say like, no, I'm obviously not saying that she didn't hear that. But I just can't imagine a Hollywood executive being like you're too mature. I could. Really? You know why? A good thing? I think that when you're Millie Bobby Brown and you're mature and you know everything and you have an idea of how you want your career to go. I think people warn you against that because everybody in Hollywood, whether it's agent a publicist or a manager, wants to be a part of molding your career. Right. And say that I helped her get to this place. If you have somebody who's not a Maryland, which is why Marilyn played aloof all the time, which is why Paris Hilton also plays aloof because she needs to seem like the damsel in the stress. Right. And if you come in like Meryl Streep, you know exactly. You know exactly where you're going. People sometimes don't want to be a part of it because there's no room for them to give their input or be a part of that process. So it's not necessarily like don't be so mature. It's more of like be a little bit more flexible on how other people are coming into your life being able to be molded by the ice cream. I think for a young woman, probably very much to your point, people wanted to come in and tell her and shape her who she's going to be and she was like, this is who I am. Right. And I respect her for that, but I can see. Kind of what you mean by people wanting to. Yeah, that's only going to 11. Like, I mean, I remember watching her in like this kid is like an adult. You know what I mean? Intensity to her that you're like, oh wow. For sure. I think it's going to serve her well. Well, I want to keep on talking about this, so we're going to go to break, and I'm going to ask you guys what is the best and advice someone has ever given you about this industry will be right back. Think about it. Before the break we were talking about Millie Bobby Brown and how she was told that being too mature wasn't always a good thing. Now people always give us unsolicited advice in how people love to give you advice in Hollywood and I do. Yeah, thank you so much, totally. But a friend of mine told me that I shouldn't. He was in the industry and said, oh, this reality TV thing's not gonna be anything. You shouldn't. No one ever leaves reality TV as like an assistant to someone and makes it somewhere because people look down on reality TV. And I was like, thank God. I think you're right. I think that I think that was true back then where people always used to look down a reality TV and now that got us through the entire pandemic and people are like, you know what? Reality TV is actually pretty great. You're right. Anything you've ever heard? I mean, I've often been told, don't be so open. Don't share your and I'm just like, that's just who I am. I'm just not a person that has you know what I mean? You want to be a blank canvas. Yeah, and I'm just not that I'm like, no, I am who I am. I'm going to be honest. I'm kind of a little bit like inappropriate. I have a sense of humor. I laugh. I'm loud. And people are like, oh, maybe sometimes you should like tone that down. I'm like, I was just who I am. Yeah. Someone told me once not to take the Andy job when I was starting out like very young. She was the only person to ever like literally a hundred people were like absolutely take it absolutely take it and then someone was like, no, I can't really see how he's going to help your career. Oh. And look at you now. Say her name. Say her name, say her name. We are out of time here tomorrow on the show the star who has 70 tattoos in honor of his wife. "Happen. It's all happening on live TV right now. Darren, we've had a really fun time with you. Next time, on daily pop. Zoë Kravitz is opening up about her relationship with Channing Tatum and it turns out she had her eye on him way before they even met. Zoe tell us Wall Street Journal magazine actually WSJ magazine that she was drawn to Channing and knew he'd be good for a role in her film. She was directing. Sounds like Raya, because he wouldn't be afraid to explore his dark side. He says she says, quote, and when you're compatible with somebody creativity, it opens up other channels. I'm really grateful that this movie has brought him into my life that way. This is why people hook up on movie sets. I mean, you could probably speak to this. I feel like you're vulnerable on a set. I feel like you're opening yourself up. You become this different person. It's a different world. And I think it's like opening a door for sexual tension. Yeah, but is it real? Well, that I don't know. Like, are you opening yourself up because it's real? Are you opening yourself up because it's part of the process? And he's playing the sexiest version of himself and you see him in here and makeup every day. Well, and it's sort of like trauma Bond, but not trauma, but like it's that thing when you're put in a situation together and you're creative. Right. There is something to that. And then sometimes when we often see these relationships like not that that's the case for them, but that I'm saying like sometimes you see relationships that happen on set and then all of a sudden the show's over and people are like oh wait, maybe I didn't maybe that was just because guess what happens. Guess what happens? The real world. You date an actor who is working at the time and he is happy. He's on cloud 9, it is the best three months of his or her life. The minute that project is over and the first audition comes in and he or she doesn't get it. And then the second audition comes in two months later. And then there's a three month lull between an audition and the last time he got called. That does something to somebody's psyche and then you have to deal with the other side of dating and the emotional downward spiral of that as well. Yes. But they're both actors. So what did you think that you'd both have that mutual understanding of the roller coaster that is the emotion of trying out an auditioning? Is there a mutual respect there of both of you kind of? No, no, no, because a lot of times it's like, you fall off a bike and scrape your knee. You're going to handle it a lot differently than I am. Right. You know, we all handle rejection differently. And a lot of times, you know, wherever you are in your ego trip, everybody has an ego trip. Wherever you are in your ego trip, whether you're on level one or level 5 is a whole different ball game, but being the only one, a lot of times when actors are single, they're the only actor in their friend group, and they can have that ego trip. But when you put two people together, how do you decide who's on the beginning to see what I'm saying? You know what I mean? Right. Yeah, you need that person. You're like, fake shots fired. Don't look at me. No, no, no, no. That's why I don't date actors. She's smaller. I am enough crazy for the relationship. You know what I mean? I am enough up and down. I feel the same way. Wait, I'm like, I need someone who is totally outside of this business who doesn't want to have like there's just, it's just a different game. It's just a different game. You know what I mean? When you're both in it. And it can create, I mean, I think it can create some conflict and some problems, but I do think that there is something to the creative process when you both understand it. Yes. And you're both willing to go there that you can't. It's like being vulnerable in any relationship. That going deep and get really opening yourself up is what the good stuff is. That's why I think Julia Roberts did it right. I think Julia Roberts, not saying that these two didn't do it right, because by the way, if I had a chance to date either of these things. And then we're falling in love with them from afar. Just looking at us right now. Either of those in my movie. The drip. But I think Julia Roberts did it correct in the sense that not correct, but better, not better, but the way I would do it, where she married somebody who was a cameraman. Who understands the process, but who's not in the process. Right. Our cameraman, on the other hand, I mean all right. These fools right now. I know about what date any of them. Coming up, the craziest advice Millie Bobby Brown has gotten, I actually would date Robert. And why she refused to listen. Jerry would get a two. Tom's really hurt right now. Tom is devastated. Holly Madison is revealing the real reason she pursued Hugh Hefner. Listen to what she told Heather McDonald on her juicy scoop podcast. I got into a place in my life where I had nowhere to live, like just all this crazy stuff that happened in my life. And I was like, you know what? He has a spot open as one of his girlfriends. So maybe I should move in here. Like it didn't, it sounds crazy, but it didn't feel like that much of a stretch at the time for me. And at that time when you said he has a spot open, how you guys already been intimate, at least once? No, what had happened is I'd been invited to go out with them a few times, so I always kind of thought in the back of my head like, oh, maybe if I wanted to be a girlfriend, maybe it could be an option, but it wasn't really anything. I thought I would do or ever have the balls to do if I wasn't kind of like desperate for a place to live. So I approached him and I was like, oh, I'd love to go out with you guys. Maybe this week or something and he was like, okay, well I have my secretary call you and it just happened from there. This changes the whole story. I mean, would you ever do this? Date somebody for a place to live. By the way, let me just say you don't know something right now. More people than you know are in situation ships. They date someone because the situation is nice. Whether it's financial stability, whether it's free meals every other night, whether it's a place to live, and social media has made it more acceptable now than ever, because now people brag about it. People weaponize it in other relationships while my other man used to pay my rent. So what you gonna do? And I think that just people do it more people do it than you realize. Now Demi Lovato has advice for kids wanting to be child stars. She says, please wait. Demon has been performing since she was a teenager and listen to what she told Zane Lowe on Apple music one. If you're 15 year old and you're making mistakes, it's magnified. And so, I don't know, if I were to have kids because I've thought about this, too. If I were to have kids and they came to me and said, mom, I want to be in the industry. I would have to say like, please wait until you're 18. Give yourself a childhood. And my reason why is, is that you don't know who you are. You know, you don't, you don't have a sense of who you are. Honestly, until you're 20s, you finally get like a sense of who you are, at least this is my experience. Well, we have a president. We have to talk about this with me. We should bring in an expert. I mean, you know, I think I will say, honestly, my experience growing up in this business, pre social media, yeah. And doing it at a young age and then not being as, I went to regular high school and I was like, in sort of the normal life, I had a little bit different experience, but I will say like, I think now it's a completely different ball game. Because of social media. With social media, I mean, at 15, 16, all of those things to be out there like that. I do think it's much more detrimental. Now than it was even in some ways when I was doing it. But don't you feel like the people who started at a young age have a foot in the door? For sure. I mean, that's the thing is that at a cost at a cost. For me, because I had a great experience, I always have an interesting time talking about this because I know that my experience was not like everyone else's. I know that I grew up on a set with people that love me and cared about me and looked out for my well-being. And I had family and parents who were very normal and grounded and I didn't grow up in LA. I grew up in Orange County. I went to public school. I had my foot in normal real life. So I had a very different experience than I think a lot of people who grew up and particularly doing these Disney shows and doing things were like, your life was completely marketable at every aspect. Well, Demi also said that she had an unhealthy power dynamic with her parents because she was the one paying the bills. And she didn't want to be controlled. And I have to say, I didn't make a lot of money growing up. I had a good job at 14 years old, and my mom made me pay a bill. I like the light bill every month, and it changed the dynamic of our relationship forever. Like it was never. It was not. Yeah, their power dynamic is now equal. And it's weird to have that advice. It's weird to have that at 14, and it kind of almost maybe want to rebel. And I think that she would have had more control and more say in my life, had she not made me pay that Bill. And it would have, I think, our relationship would be a lot different. Not saying it would be any better. It just would be different. But it's also teach you independence at a younger age. Is that the good thing that comes out of doing that? Paying the bills? Independence, essentially being an adult. But I think in response to this is when the child is when the parent is dependent upon the child for income, that's different. Like, you know, again, I lived in a normal house. My parents, my dad had a job.

"Want to know. I did get my girlfriend the Gucci oura ring for her birthday. And now I'm thinking, I'm like, wow, that was really smart of me. 'cause now I can track down whenever I get such a stalker. Our wedding band still a thing or are they old fashioned? You know, my husband and I sort of went through the same thing. He's never worn any jewelry. He's like, that's not his thing. So when he first put it on, he was like, I don't know, it's gonna be weird. But like you used to do it. You get used to it. I mean, and he's like very proud to wear his now and, you know, it was under threat. No, I'm just kidding. But yeah. Every time. People say he doesn't work. If he didn't wear it, would you say something to him? I told her, I was like, are you gonna wear a ring? Like, he was like, well, I mean, I'm planning on it. He's like, I don't know, it's gonna be weird. And then he like tried it on and got one that's comfortable and all this stuff. So, yeah, no. I love how we talk about a wedding ring like it's a bra. Like you got one that's comfortable that we like that support. Right. No, honey. Is someone tweeted me and they were like, well, Prince William doesn't wear a Redding ring because he doesn't like jewelry. I'm like, you know what? Prince William also has the world watching him. Right. Right. So he really can't trip and fall and land in somebody else's baby. I don't think anyone's like, is he married? You know what I mean? I think everyone's pretty clear on that. Also, do wedding rings like stop people from cheating? 'cause I feel like they don't. I have to be a white people. Sometimes girls will go. Right. I mean, great. So I'm like, maybe he's doing the warts. I'm just saying. Yeah. Got a break. Up next, Selena Gomez takes us inside the posh beach bat. Plus Demi Lovato speaks out. He's so good. Great. Oh my God. Selena Gomez has something special. She is cooking up in honor of her show, Selena

"And I think it's just, it's like such a violation of that trust that you're supposed to have, you know, as co parents, which sometimes you just don't get along with the person that you're trying to co parent with. There's always conflict and there's fight and all the stuff, but like it just felt like it came at a time when it was like she was really happy and it was like, let me just knock you down. She didn't even get three seconds in the sun before he was like, and by the way, yeah. And here we go. Speaking of three seconds in the sun, do you guys remember that whole beef between Kanye West and Kid Cudi? It happened when Kanye called out kid Cudi for being friends with Pete Davidson. Well, it's still sitting with Kid Cudi because he tells esquire September issue quote it don't matter if I'm Friends with Pete are not friends with Pete. None of this had anything to do with me. If you can't be a grown man and deal with the fact that you lost your woman, that's not my effing problem. You need to own up to your ish like every man in this life has. Well, Kid Cudi, I don't think every man. What you say. I get what you're saying. What do you think of these comments? I mean, he's right. I mean, kind of grow up. Yay, excuse me. Grow up. So Pete is not allowed to have any friends in Hollywood. Like, it's the smallest industry. I think we've ever been in in the entire world. What's Pete's just supposed to not have a job because he dated your ex that you lost? I was confused. I also feel like that's always, that's a recipe for a friend to be like, then I'm not gonna, you know what I mean when you're like, well, you can't be Friends with that person. Cool, then I'm not gonna be Friends with you. Exactly what I mean? 'cause it feels really controlling and weird where you're like, we're Friends. I'm sleeping with you. I'll have your back, but bro I had a friend do that to me where he dated someone for years on and off and I became friendly Friends with his boyfriend as you do when your best friend has a boyfriend. Right. And she's in the gay community. And they broke up for the four time and he was like, you can't be basically was upset with me because, you know, I stayed friends with him. And we broke friendship and then two months later, they got back together. And I'm like, this is what I knew was going to happen. And why would I access person up my life only to have to rewrite them back in? Right. Like, friendship is not a dry erase board for me. Also, friendship should be the least dramatic relationships we have because we get to choose them. You can't help you fall in love with and you can't help who your family is. You can't help any anything else except Friends. So it should be trauma. We should respect each other. Let me ask you this because, you know, friends make up all the time. Yeah. If you were a Kid Cudi and your friend came at you like Kanye came at him, could you ever forgive that? Oh, I don't know. I mean, it would be, it depends, are they treating me at the time? Because if they're basically insulting me and telling me I need to do this for them. I'm not really sure I would really want that friend in my life going forward because that friend doesn't have anything out. That friend is not looking out for me and respecting me. They're only looking out for themselves and I wouldn't trust that they wouldn't do it again to me. She had a given time. It just feels very controlling. Just very controlling. And that's the problem. I'm like, it's a whole thing in a relationship that's a problem, but like as a friend? No. Also, I do feel like sometimes we have to remember, like when they first met, Kid Cudi Kanye was the biggest, you know, music act in the world. He was yeah, he was a genius. So he was the alpha to Kid Cudi's beta and Kid Cudi probably followed that line of those roles for a while. And a lot of times things change, people get their own confidence, they get their own clout. They do their own things. And what happens is, and we need to remember this. Sometimes friends are our lives forever, and sometimes friends are our lives for a season or 6. And sometimes it's okay to say, you know what? We did great things together. It was successful at that time. Right. But you and I are obviously not on the same page for drifting apart, and that's it. And it's cool. And it's cool. And it's also based on someone's behavior. You know what I mean? Like, I'll have your back and be like, oh, I'm not gonna be friends with this, but whatever, but when you are just being out there and acting really publicly like kind of over the top, then I'm gonna be like, look. But it's not fully his like, we have to remember that, you know, just like Britney, Kanye also struggles with mental health issues. Of course, you know what? If my friend is out there and he's out on the limb, I'm gonna go ahead and I'm gonna sit back and I'm gonna love him from afar. Right. And I'm gonna move him to come back. Now we've reached out to Kanye's rep for response and we have not heard back, but I'm pretty sure donda two is gonna be lit. Now, apparently, if you like it, you should have put a ring on it, or maybe not. Julian Michaels got married last month, and she revealed on talk shot live that she had a tiny little issue with her wedding band. They have this ring on and I actually, I'm like, and I kept thinking like, how many will live with something that I can't take off. If it was freaking me out 'cause I like to take, I don't like to wear things on me. And I'm like, I don't even notice it's there. I haven't taken a look at I forget that it's there. It's like this metaphor that it's like, I've just settled into this whole marriage thing. I'm pretty comfortable with it, I think. Yeah. I mean. Okay. Why did we get married three times if you're not gonna wear a wedding ring? Like, we could have just been domestic partners and got it over with and we're just going to the courthouse call to the day. No one have said anything. If you're going to have three weddings and you have to wear the ring. Show it up, show it off. And not just a wedding ring. Or a ring. Yeah. I want to track your ass, okay? I want to know why you swimming at 3 a.m. in the morning in Vegas.

"Today on the show, I will not be ashy. Hollywood's also taking sides and Britney is feud with kayfabe and things are getting ugly, plus how Kim and Pete's love ended a famous friendship. And another celebrity couple calls it quits. We'll get all into it with Jodi, Sweden. Hi. And Darren carp you guys. Look, you guys. Kevin federline, look, I live a candle for you, Kevin. I let a candle for you, honey, 'cause you're gonna need it. Because Britney's army just got a list. And they're showing their loyalty in different ways. Exhibit a, we got J.Lo. After Britney reposted a quote from J.Lo about getting loud and never backing down, Jin sent Brittany a message saying, stay strong. And then there's exhibit B, which is a little more my style and on the nose. Should we say? Do you understand what kind of a clown you have to be to be a whole grown man? And as soon as you see somebody happy and getting married and moving on and being free and feeling good and their own skin to do the very thing that you know is going to attempt to break them down, going to the media, and you think you're not going to have karma from it. You think it's okay. You think that anybody is going to feel sorry for you? I need Nicki. I need to hire Nikki and my morning to deal with everyone in my life. That was she literally said like everything I thought when this happened. I was like, and then Nick, he said, I was like, yeah, exactly. She said it in the best way possible. And she's so right. Yeah. What a dick. And also like any mom that's ever yelled that they're going to have video of me. I mean, trust me, that's what it is. I did not see anything wrong with said video or the way she was talking to her children. Now I have to point out that that was from the amp live stream and we've reached out to Kevin for comment, but he did not hear back. Now that we got that out of the way, let's now talk about this. Are you choosing your fighter? Are you J.Lo? It seems like we're all on Nikki's side. I'd be rubbing her shoulders in the corner, ready? I might go out the only thing is these earrings are about to come off. You know what I'm saying? They got the real quick pop off. Yeah. I need Kevin federline as a primary caregiver of his children to set the best example that he can. And he has been publicly for the last 8 to ten years. However, I think a lot of times people pull the trigger too fast in a rage of emotions, when they're bent out of shape. And we all do it. We all post something and we're like, oh, I wish I wouldn't have commented back on that. And everybody gets a pass. I don't think. That Kevin federline is going to ever do that again. And I'm going to forgive, said mistake because we all make them. Now, if this happens again, I will go ahead and pick up Chun Li in New York and pass by your house in Calabasas. And want to fight somebody. That's hopeful. I just, as a mom and as someone with exes and with, you know, it's not always easy to co parent with somebody. And for what everything that she's been through, I just feel like that's so like putting video out there of a mom having a parenting moment with their kids. It's never, you know what I mean? Like, say what you really want to say. Say what you really want to do. It's dirty and it's bad. I think it's really, it's really, it's really, it's hurtful. It's awful. It does nothing to make the mother of your children. Like it shows no team support. Well, that's what I was going to say, because I don't have kids, and you're a mom, so you can probably speak on this more to me, but we don't know what he's saying to their kids, like, behind closed doors. And that's going to be generational trauma. Yeah. That's the thing. Like, yes, he posted this video. I hope he doesn't do it again because that's embarrassing. But if it was just them between adults, I'd be like, he's a dick. Yeah. Whatever, I'm starting with Britney. With the kids behind closed doors, it's just nasty and it's wrong. It's wrong. And by the way, it's okay to say, you know, my kids don't like your presence on social media. A lot of parents go through the same thing. A lot of kids don't like their parents, what they do on social media. Right. Yes, Britney is an extreme case. But you know what? She's been locked in a council for 13 years. Lets you do her thing.

"What we talked about earlier, Barry and dreams. You know, suffering alone is what the song is about. And like I said before, we all suffer. And that's my way that I relate to people. It's new pain. 'cause we've all been through May. You know, so that's what the song is about, you know, that lonely place that you feel, whether it's like you're experiencing pain, ruminating on it, in a certain situation where you don't feel heard or understood, the song is pretty much saying like, I know what that's like. That's the third verse, you know, wish I could write a wrong for you, sincerely. I know what it's like to go through pain. So that's what it's about. You know, it's not the it ain't no club single, you know? It's not gonna get played in anybody graduation. But one of my musical heroes is Kid Cudi. And. His music comes from a place of pain, you know, and I remember the first time I heard soundtrack to my life, I'm like, this dude understands what it's like to be me. And I've been riding with him ever since. Can Cudi was one of the reasons I learned how to play guitar too. Him and Jimi Hendrix. But. Like I said, I talk about what people don't want to talk about. Sing about it too. You spoke on something. I was trying to formulate the question of why you say you said you relate through people through pain. And you relate to people because it's something that everyone experiences in some way or another. Do you ever feel like. I'm trying to worry correctly? Do you ever feel? Because I understand that to me, this is a mental health podcast, having certain conversations, you were, you are a breath of fresh air when you bring a comedic aspect to the certain type of conversation..

But for a long time I think for a couple months we thought there was 13 or 14 of them. I love it. You would think. You would think. You would think one might say. All right ash, what a 24 movie did supporting scream star Jenna Ortega recently appear in. Can you say the question one more time? Sorry. What a 24 movie did supporting scream star Jenna Ortega recently appeared. For anyone that does remember Jenna Ortega is the girl in the opening of scream 2022. Basically the equivalent of Drew Barrymore and the present year. The girl that was also in you. Yeah, I know, I know. I love her. I just can't think of the movie. I don't know. Can we steal in this round? This round. Is it X? It is X yes. I haven't heard of that. So I want to see X actually. I haven't seen it yet. I saw it in theaters, and you know, it was really cool, you know, it was directed by TI west, Kid Cudi produced it and Kid Cudi also was one of the stars in it, and you get to see his 15 foot penis in it, so. Sign me up. Reason to go. It's good stuff. It's good stuff. It's good stuff. If you haven't had any other reason to see it, just I'm not gonna spoil anything else, but Kid Cudi schlong. That's why he's always on a pursuit of happiness. That's the reason. You know, I saw a pursuit of happiness live in December. Sick. I didn't know that his penis was 30 foot long at that point. But, you know, it just grows and grows. He's a grower and a shower. That's how I felt in the moment. All righty. All right, alayna. What is James Wan's most recent horror movie? Fuck. No. It is not fuck. Wrong. Oh, was it? Was it? Was it? Was it the remake of The Invisible Man? With Lee. What now? What? We won't know. I'm gonna say no. No. I literally don't know the answer so you can just say it. You know, got it? No. I thought you had it, ash. It's malignant. Oh. Oh, you thought I was gonna get that? No, no. And one of my <Speech_Male> favorite things that Brady <Speech_Male> said during the conversation <Speech_Male> was <Speech_Male> about everyone <Speech_Male> saying like, man, you want some <Speech_Male> championship? How did you <Speech_Male> do it? You know, <Speech_Male> how did you stay so <Speech_Male> motivated? He's like, well, <Speech_Male> people forget. <Speech_Male> For about ten years, <Speech_Male> I didn't want a single <Speech_Male> championship. <Speech_Male> You know, <Speech_Male> you win two, <Speech_Male> and, you know, <Speech_Male> you <Speech_Male> think it to yourself, wow man. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> This might get a little easy. <Speech_Male> Then all of a sudden, you <Speech_Male> know, <Speech_Male> after those <Speech_Male> three after the winning three, <Speech_Male> you go to the ten <Speech_Male> year drought and you're like, <Speech_Male> man, I may never <Speech_Male> win another one again, <Speech_Male> so <Speech_Male> every single time you won <Speech_Male> another after <Speech_Male> that point was <Speech_Male> like, I mean, everyone <Speech_Male> went again. Let's get another. <Speech_Male> Let's get another one. And <Speech_Male> here we are, we're sitting <Speech_Male> 6 rings <SpeakerChange> later <Speech_Male> with Tom Brady. <Speech_Male> I mean, <Speech_Male> especially <Speech_Male> the think about <Speech_Male> in that <Speech_Male> way, <Speech_Male> winning multiple <Speech_Male> championships and being <Speech_Male> who he was <Speech_Male> and being the <Speech_Male> face of the franchise <Speech_Male> for so <Speech_Male> long. So <Speech_Male> many, you know, you came in, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> you know, Bledsoe <Speech_Male> was the <Speech_Male> starting <Silence> quarterback. He <Speech_Male> loses. <Speech_Male> His <Speech_Male> spot to injury <Speech_Male> and Tom <Silence> Brady never lets <Speech_Male> it go again. <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> yeah. <Speech_Male> That is <Speech_Male> the <Speech_Male> dynamics, <Speech_Male> the optics of <Speech_Male> it, a really, <Speech_Male> really key. <Speech_Male> When you think about <Speech_Male> who Brady was <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> to the Patriots, <Speech_Male> what he does, <Speech_Male> it really more <Speech_Male> so who he <Speech_Male> is now. <Speech_Male> Still <SpeakerChange> winning <Silence> a Super Bowl championship. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> That first Sunday <Speech_Male> in October was going to be a special <Speech_Male> night for sure. Side Hustle School
Can I use other people's recipes for my ebook for children?
"Chris, Calloway from Sydney Australia. I be listening to your show right from the beginning our unemployed. I did work in between I'm unemployed. Now again, I've tried several side hustles over the years I haven't managed to monetize. Miss yet I've tried a book club and Dane Grip I, had some success. I've started a youtube channel Foodie phonics, lessons, children, and have a few thought of his. What most recently have self published an evil children. My question is am I, able to use recipes that I find on the intimate and rename them for use in book at the back so that I can use the link for readers to contact me and the floor to your response to them. Thanks for gration cheese. Hey, thank you so much for listening. Thank you for calling in and good work on continuing to try different stuff. It takes a while and then that's that's okay. I love the idea of the Youtube Channel for food phonics lessons. Let's talk about your question. So can you use other people's recipes essentially and kind of rename them a bit It's a bit of a grey area because. A lot of recipes are are very common here. So there's not a lot of difference between let's say some standard recipes. Okay. But other recipes are created by chef. And there is proprietary work that goes into that. So the best safest answer is that you would need to contact the recipes author or creator for permission to use it in this way unless it's clearly something that is in the public domain. Okay now, that said, a lot of recipes as I mentioned are pretty simple. Okay. Are Pretty simple are pretty common or just handed down over the years and such. So if you're making souffles or castle as or something that's either complicated or somewhat unique, I was trying to think like what is unique to Australia and I did some googling and I read about fairy kick which I don't know a lot about even though I have been to Australia many times and love that country but very cake because the thing Australia. So anything that is complicated or somewhat unique. Where a chef is clearly create that recipe and that is something you definitely shouldn't borrow like that belongs to them however since so many recipes are rudimentary and copied over and over for those I think you'd be okay with putting your own twist on it and renaming it as you suggest except perhaps calicut half cows magical mackin sheep's. Or. farm-to-table Foodie phonics fruit salad I'm just providing some names here feel free to borrow these. You can still these or Foodie phonics vary bread maybe it's actually very bread not very kick now that I'm thinking about this more but whatever it is very bread you call it Cudi phonics ferry bread, and perhaps tweak the recipe a little bit i. think that's okay. That's a little bit different than just wholesale. Copying recipe somewhere and putting it in your own yearbook.

As Megan the stallion savage featuring beyond say jumps from number five to number one how the track added beyond say to a new remix a few weeks ago and the song has seen great returns ever since it just had to wait a moment until it had its chance at number one is the first number one were. Megan congrats to her and the seventh number one for beyond say Who lasted number one with another collaboration if you recall when she similarly assisted another song well after it's released when she hopped on Ed Sheeran's perfect? That song hit number one. In December twenty seventeen savage replaces day and Justin bieber's charity single stuck with you which debuted at number one a week ago That song actually falls to number thirteen this week before that DOJ cats is say-so between the montage lead for a week. And then a week before that. The Scots from the Scots Travis. Scott and kid cudi's ruled for one week so that is the fourth week in a row. Where a collaboration hit number one and that comes after thirty two straight weeks or the number one song was by a Solo Act. So when it rains it pours. I'm could we see another collaboration takeover next week number one? Well time will tell if lady Gaga Ariana Grande as new rain on me. We'll debut atop tally so stay tuned to billboard DOT COM. We have a lot more up on coming up on rain on me before that elsewhere on the new hot one hundred in terms of new pop singles. Jonas brothers new single x featuring carol. Gb's at number thirty three. I really like that song a while. Katy Perry's daisies debuts at number forty and that is the first single from her next album which we discussed last week I was GonNa ask you what you thought of the show Bro. Carol G Song I like it. I think it is Kinda cute to considering. They had to do it in lockdown but they may do pretty well considering the circumstances. Yeah just just really quickly I. I think that I've been impressed by how the Jonas Brothers Post happiness begin. Singles have not been phoned in at all. Like what a man's gotTa do and And now ex have had actually sounded really top notch from them so they're just kind of continuing that that positive momentum from last year. Yeah it's it's it's pretty great. I'm all I'm all in for it. I'm I'm all for it next step over on the billboard. Two hundred albums chart future scores his seventh number one album seven number ones. Jeez as high off life bows top. The list with one hundred fifty three thousand equivalent album units in the US earned in the weekend. Dean May twenty-first according to Nielsen Music. M R. C. Data. Now that's futures biggest week in terms of units earned for any of his solo had drake collaboration. Once that was obviously a lot bigger but still for for for a solo album. It's his biggest week. So congrats to future most of high off life starting some was actually driven by streaming tippety with sixteen thousand of its first week coming from album sales and those sales were largely driven by merchandise album. Bundles sold via futures web store. And also some signed albums that he was selling through the same store and unlike last week's number one album Now's good intentions. Which we talked about on last week's show which had one hundred merch bundles. Helping its first week. Future only had a handful relative handful. Just seventeen helping his first week so congrats to future and next week. It actually looks like another rap. Album could lead the list At least in terms of early forecasting it looks like Ghana's new album WANNA might start atop the list and if it does start at number one it would mark gunness first number one album. Would you call that a number one for Ghana a WANNA GONNA a one hundred WANNA on never mind? Oh boy. I like that album a great deal. Well let's talk about rain on me. Man. It came out last. Friday may twenty second one week ahead of the release of Gaga Matica? And I can't love it more. I love this song. I tweeted yesterday that I listened to it three times when I was on a jog. It gave me a lot of you know a lot of inspiration. What do you feel about rain on does it? Did it give you life where you screaming? Ask the top of your lungs as you were jogging. I mean internally I was for sure I you know I'm I'm all in on a dance pop Kaga you know and and I again as we talked about repeatedly on the show this year like the fact that dance pop and disco. Pop is making this return it. I think it's awesome and I think I think people are are rightfully excited by new Gaga

Monocle 24: The Briefing
Shinzo Abe Becomes Japan’s Longest-Serving Prime Minister
"Shinzo our prime. My Minister of Japan will today be celebrating. What would have seemed a decade or so back an unlikely milestone? He is now the longest serving prime minister. In Japan's history is brief stint from two thousand six to two thousand seven added to the longest stretch has enjoyed since two thousand twelve has overhauled the benchmark set by. Juke Cuts Toro three times. Prime Minister of a very different Japan in the early years of the twentieth century. Nobody serves as long as a house without tapping into something in their electorate. So in our base case Wat- one joined with more on this Spicer David Warren Former UK ambassador to Japan now Associate Fellow with the Asia Pacific Program At Chatham House David thank you for joining us rb. Does he have a particular singular secret. Is there one thing about him which is got into where he's got to and kept him there i. It's hard to say that he does although he's clearly a competent politician in Japanese terms. And he's come to the premiership of Japan of course after a period of intense political volatility extending over decades in Japanese politics. Prime Minister for the most part have come and gone and there's genuine public Cynicism and discontent with the fragile nature of Jap the Japanese politics so in a sense he benefited from having come after a period of great great Great Tab instability and he benefited also from having a very weak opposition during this period because the opposition party which was in government government three years between two thousand nine and two thousand twelve when it was cold. Democratic Party of Japan has been itself Rhythm With factions and essentially all over the place in terms of being able to land any punches on the Liberal Democratic Party government. So you haven't any competition in the end. He hasn't much competition from outside the party. And he's given the Japanese people a sense of stability which I think they have respected. So you wouldn't say there's an RB ISM as such. There is not a philosophical cornerstone to him philosophical cornerstone to him. But I'm not certain. It's one shared by the Jersey of Japanese people originally from the nationalist wing of the Liberal Democratic Party Much of his Political philosophy is good on. We habilitation his grandfather who was prime minister of Japan in the nineteen fifties and had a very problematical record in the nineteen thirties and forties during Japan's occupation career and four in China. And he has a nationalist. I think wants to both rehabilitate Prime Minister Kitchen. Gran- grandfather's father's mutation and also to turn the page so to speak on Japan's problematic history in ways. which do not necessitate? The next generation of Japanese need having to grapple as much with the the difficult politics of apology that other innovations have had to do But that nationalism is ten uh-huh by a political pragmatism of the recognition that He needs to fix the Japanese economy. Most Japanese voices are more worried about economic issues the constitutional nationally issues and that. Whatever obeys nationalist impulse maybe he needs to ventilate them in ways which staint disturb Japan's regional neighbours particularly China and Korea He had a very different sense of twentieth century. History in in that regard with China. He's got the relationship back onto something more of an even Keel career. It's much more difficult than well. How successful do you think he has been the not very by the sound of it? IN-IN addressing those difficult relationships with its neighbors in the region often overhung as they are by a history of world war. Two Cudi of done more. Well he's been successful with China. I think it's fair to say you inherited a difficult situation with China in in two thousand twelve when he became prime minister. The previous government nationalized the disputed islands in the East China Sea. which had alienated the Chinese Government and lead to a serious deterioration in the relationship nationalism. In the sense to prevent extreme nationalist getting the hands on them relations the China very very difficult and after initial period of tension. In which are they Like some of his predecessors as prime minister visited controversial Ashley yesterday shrine intake I they has invested considerable effort in establishing more of a relationship with Xi Jinping and getting the relationship back onto who Something more bridging equilibrium. Now there is talk. All Xi Jinping making a state visit to Japan in the spring of Twenty Twenty strong stronger relationships at every level of the Japanese and Chinese governments and there is a serious dialogue not least east because both countries face unpredictable. US Administration This time so the record with China is best and Eve. When I was prime minister in the decade he bested lots of time in improving relations with China to the situation with career is much harder because There is both Business over disputed history particularly on the Korean side and the sense on the Japanese side. The taught to know how to deal with careers concerns the Japanese. This was all settled. Many years ago with extensive reparations agreement that the issue was closed is they are resentful of the Koreans now reopening these historical issues so while I think there is some legitimate criticism of days. Playing the the nationalist card in in in this area there is also the sense Career is is is stay with him to negotiate during your time says Ambassador to Japan. What sense were you able to get all obeys personal style? What what what is he like to deal with as an individual when I wasn't I'm bachelor at the time. When I was in power? He was in power for a year in the mid noughties when he succeeded Prime Minister Junichiro. Well he's only and that was a very unsuccessful time any wasn't well and there were scandals which produced the effectiveness of these government and the U. banned last year? He became prime minister. Game Justin I left Japan at the end of my ambassadorship in twenty twelve. So what do I met him Briefly socially really and observed him as one of a number of leaders of the opposition during that very very febrile terriers. I didn't his His style-obsessed hand but he is certainly Powerful politician he's centralizing politician. He's established strong central control throw of the mechanisms of government of the appointment of key personnel. he is a strong leader in those terms Some in Japan would argue that he is too strong a leader that he centralize too much that he creates a political. Is it gonNA spread by. People are reluctant to step out of line into sagres with what comes out of the center out of the Prime Minister's office that can lead to strong and stable government not one respect it can also lead to Mistakes accounting if they have in certain areas of policy where civil servants have told politicians what they want to hear other than in the objective and and practical advice.
