"Manchester City pulled out a one zero win at Crystal Palace to keep pressure on arsenal for first place in the Premier League. Erling Holland provided the goal on a penalty kick after a foul inside the box. Holland's league high 28th goal in 27 games came after a corner kick that produced a clumsy collision in the box. Palace failed to respond and has now gone three straight games without a shot on target. City is now two points behind arsenal after running its point streak to 6 games. A training <Speech_Male> to start with from <Speech_Male> what I'm <Speech_Music_Male> being told <Speech_Music_Male> to what we've seen on the pitch, <Speech_Music_Male> the <Speech_Male> thing is I think <Speech_Male> what he wants <Speech_Music_Male> the team to do <Speech_Music_Male> at times <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> fades in a way <Speech_Male> because <Speech_Male> in certain <Speech_Male> positions the level <Speech_Male> is not there. I think <Speech_Male> if you give him better <Speech_Male> players <Speech_Male> because the structure <Speech_Male> for me so <Speech_Male> elite and what he <Speech_Male> wants to do <Speech_Male> tactically <Speech_Male> with the ball and <Speech_Male> again without the ball with <Speech_Male> his starting <Speech_Male> 11, I <Speech_Male> think if he gets <Speech_Male> better plays in certain <Speech_Male> key positions I think this <Speech_Male> team, this team <Speech_Male> is a top four <Speech_Music_Male> contender every single <Speech_Music_Male> season. <Speech_Male> And that's <Speech_Male> how impressed I was. The problem <Speech_Male> is, <Speech_Male> at times, you <Speech_Male> can have the structure <Speech_Male> and all the goodwill <Speech_Male> in the world and all <Speech_Male> the practical <Speech_Male> knowledge, <Speech_Male> some players <Speech_Male> might let you down and <Speech_Male> even collectively. And <Speech_Male> I think that's why we <Speech_Male> saw <Speech_Male> certainly a Crystal Palace <Speech_Male> where the team didn't really <Speech_Male> respond to what they should have <Speech_Male> done for a game like that. <Speech_Male> As <Speech_Male> Southampton, I think phrasal <Speech_Male> foster was <Speech_Music_Male> on one of those <Speech_Music_Male> days that <Speech_Male> when we <Speech_Male> saw the Bernie game tonight, <Speech_Male> for example, <Speech_Male> was not <Speech_Male> it was a different <Speech_Male> phrase of first day, which is <Speech_Male> twin. <Speech_Male> So things like <Speech_Male> that happen, <Speech_Male> and that's why I think you <Speech_Male> should be hard to <Speech_Male> explain the season and <Speech_Male> why there's been highs <Speech_Male> and lows, <Speech_Music_Male> but I <SpeakerChange> do think <Speech_Music_Male> there are certainly on the right path. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> The

"Come true all the time. So we will be ready. He says, we'll be ready. He said it wasn't. He says, congratulations to you. But you know what it's like to come here and lose. Thanks very much for that. But obviously no, they've already got silverware under their belt this season, but this is the hold on. Hold on. Hold on. You're not going to mention the Club World Cup. Yes. I should walk off. We have to qualify for me. You want to talk about the state. We're talking about the effort. Well, then, if that's your job, you talk to me about the Club World Cup, right? That's your view, then this is even more important and he says it wasn't the moment to take risks. Now they're in the final to get a second. From a future obviously finds it just came on board and the last 20 years. People know what's important. What's important, you asked man city, U.S. Liverpool. They have been going home most of the time with these domestic competitions. No. As Frank well knows, the FA cop and jails recent history are I'm talking the last 25 30 years and I said it pretty sure has been hugely important and this club I've been hugely successful and these Chelsea finds have been a Wimbledon many, many times in the last 20 years or so. So as beg for them and that's a little bit with Thomas Tuchel when he says, did it make a difference going out of the Champions League? I think it does. It does because it's the one last thing that they can tangibly go and win. And to win it, they're going to have to be, we'll see. We'll see when the old Panzer, but arguably the best team in England. If they topple Manchester City, Liverpool that is. So if chaos could beat Liverpool, or sorry, Liverpool final. That would be that would be a big further in Thomas Tuchel's car because by the time the final comes round, Liverpool could have won the league. We just don't know, but what we're doing or that are fantastic sight. And what we do know is Liverpool haven't been able to beat Chelsea in 90 minutes so far this season. This is a nice final, isn't it, Frank? Obviously, as we mentioned, that nil nil in the carabao cup was a very, very entertaining. And watchable nil nil were in for a treat aren't we in this FA Cup final? Well, I think we deserve it, you know, they sure that we had a taste of what is a fantastic game that we were to watch and we had that example of commitments of everybody, you know, pace that I've always complained about. And I think to all today, in the press conference and all kind of a political explanation of the patients when you want to talk about being too slow and having no ideas of what to do. So it's funny that to see how they react according to the team they play. They're not going to be the favorite against Liverpool. And we're going to see that they're going to play much quicker, more vertical with more ideas. And it's going to be another game because they always go to the same level of the team they play against. So that's very interesting. That's very interesting in the way to analyze the performance of the team in how the team behaves according to the team they play against. So what I'm sure because we know Liverpool is going to play with a painting on a page. That we're going to have a fantastic entertainment. We're going to see what's going to be the winner. Frank's all excited because TLC get into the cockpit on minzy is going to be on that eurostar from Paris to London for a freebie weekend again. Nathan, what are your final thoughts on the final that we've gotten what we saw today from Chelsea? Yeah, I think to talk about the final first. I think it's going to be another cracker. I think then going up against Liverpool has proven to be a good matchup so far this season, whether it was the first game Anfield, where Chelsea down to ten men and they tactically through the tactical genus, get it right. It's not for bridge. There was a bit of a switch, but that was another great game. And even the nil, it's the only known that we're probably going to talk about all season. But it was a very, very good one. It's a shame that it went down to the penalties in a way that it did. But again, it's a really good matchup. And it will be interesting because we can say Liverpool might be winning the league at that point or whenever. But then also things might be going in the wrong direction for them. Maybe it's the case of the squadron out of energy, things like this and for Chelsea, as they walk on the field. As two will try to downplay it, this is their biggest chance of I won't say true silverware as such because they have won the Club World Cup and stuff like that. But something relevant to this season. The FA Cup matters. It really, really does. And for them, it's going to be a way to maybe finish the season on a high because if they finish with another defeat like they did last year in this competition, then you get to the end of the season to be asking questions, well, did we go forward or are we moving backwards? And then for today's game, as Frank was alluding to, to kind of play it up to the opposition in some ways. I think they were great to call it patients and that's fair enough because that's his eye. It's the way you drew it up, but then in the same breath, I like the way he brought on lots of cheek for the things which he did. The attributes which he brought because it just goes to show sometimes that patients only matters until you can bring somebody on they can add a sense of urgency. So fair play to them and good luck to them in the final. Speaking of patients, Frank was patient because he said he couldn't go out in his old stomping ground of London last night because he had to have a fresh I thought it was because they were not going to be fresh for today's game. Both of you used to live in London. Who has the best choice and the old VIP lists? Who's the best? Nadim are Frank. Listen. You're asking a 54 year old man on a 35 year old man with three kids who lives up north, what they're going to be doing in London. The answer is probably just going to bed. Let's not have to worry about such things. Don't believe me. Don't believe you. The primary is Ned and you know, every time we try to get him out, you know this was for just a dinner. Hello, you know, never there. Never there. Guys, never there. Disappears. Okay, well, we'll let you go to Frankie. You guys have been great today. Thanks so much for being with us. "Results, but we have to have a little bit of feet on the ground here. Yes. Yes, absolutely. Yes, because Craig Bernie and Ruth gule the press will have asked you if you what was your thoughts about Rudolph, you would have say he's a genius. The tactical genius. Can we give some context to this saint Frank? Well, it was a tactical genius when you left me out in the 97 cop final Frank, obviously. It didn't leave Frank out. No, no, because I know they were. Let's say the left each other, not that friendly. In another friendly way. I'm alive. I'm always friendly with Peter Frank. Come on. No, you know, Alexis is the one. She's cool with all the players. She's got them on like not just first name. It did make a difference lofty. I mean, it's got all the skill sets, guys, hasn't here. He's big, he's perfectly as quick as got super quick feet. He's got a lovely fast touch, a good change of pace. I mean, he could play his way into this team. And I think that's the thing for Chelsea. They're not fighting for the title, they're not in the Champions League, but there's no going to be a real fate for places to get in that starting 11 for their huge cop final in May 14. Yeah, 100%. I think the way you've described this style's play though is exactly right as well. And when you think about UK and midfield, when you think about going up against someone like that, it's a tough matchup for anybody because he's going to be bigger than him. He's stronger than him. He's quicker than them. And if he's got ahead of steam, how are you really going to be able to stop him? And I think that's sort of the interesting bit because when you talk about georginio, you're not mentioning any of those things for a good footballer as he is. So I think he was good to see him come on and make that difference because his type of energy and stuff is what they needed and then in that second half as the game became more stretched. You can see the powers players like their shoulders were going down because they're having to chase them the other way. And nobody really wants to be able to do that, you know what I mean? Yeah, and I would be the last. Guys, we can hear from Thomas Tuchel actually, speaking after this game, here he is. I'm just going to check her just a moment. "Who missed the very last penalty that allowed Liverpool to win Keller has scored his. And then it was Liverpool winning 1110 on penalty. One of the best zero zeros I think of what's for a while and then, you know, the penalties was to blame and not only did he bring Keppel and he didn't bring him on to take apparently he brought the more it brought him on to save a penalty because he starts better than men this apparently, but he ultimately didn't save a penalty. He got close to a couple. And then he was in the unfortunate scenario where he was in panic mode when the goalkeeper had to take one at the end because most of the penalties were either just even the poorer ones were almost saved and some of the penalties started that day from both sides under that pressure were very more pressure because he was the second goalkeeper. He went first. And then he came up and tried to take the letter off the ball and it was just sealing high. And there's no blame in him because he's a goalkeeper. But that decision from Thomas Tuchel didn't pay off, but it was a very tight game. Enough for those that remember the game, chokes it created and should have scored and that game mason mounted a couple of great chances. So Chelsea could argue they should have won that game, but we're going to hear from, I believe, a guy who got a very good goal? Yeah, somebody who did score a goal for Chelsea today. Ruben Loftus cheek now with Alexis. Yeah, thanks so much, Kate. We've got rubes as I like to call him. He was doing bits in Luton last time we spoke and now you're doing bits again today and made it to the final. You came on in such a cagey and kind of slow moment for Chelsea in the first half. What did the guy say to you? Because you really changed the game. No, second off, we changed the formation a bit. And I think that worked early on. We started to get opportunities and probe and any end of all the boards dropped to me and I tried to get a good connection with it, but yeah, second half we came up with more energy more riskiness to play in the final third and it came off. And in the first half, how difficult was it to get out there when palace were definitely making it hard for you guys to even get the ball? Yeah, really hard and they worked really hard defensively. Even when I changed to a flat four four two, maybe even more difficult to find a space in the pockets and in the final third, so you try to get the moments on turning the ball over and counter and really quickly and we had a few opportunities on counter. But I think we took our opportunities well and we still missed a few at the end there so now we're really happy with the happy to be in the final. We know that your manager is known to be a tactical genius. How do you think you'd rate this before once today if you've not spoken to him yet? From the manager. Now the manager he always comes.

"To win against Liverpool. And I think as well, there's the idea that they were tired from midweek. Maybe maybe, but the fact is they got better over time. So surely you should be getting more tired as a game progresses, which is why I sort of question mentality in that first half because it seemed like it came into it too relaxed and as you said as a favorite as a guy who won't see here 6 times as a favorite you have to approach the game in a certain way. You have to put your game the aggressiveness that they showed against Real Madrid. We didn't see that. Made a difference. It's why? Because you know that you have to react against Real Madrid and you think you're superior of free Crystal Palace. So subconsciously you don't do the job properly. If you know Frank Labeouf has won the 16 times, that's only because Frank Labeouf has told you that he's won the sex teams. No, I said he's worn here 6 times. He's one here, 6000. Not one 6th. These are the little nuggets that you normally know. In the morning tells you that. Yeah, that's true. But here's the thing though, so we were walking just near the steps to go to get the trophy. It's like, oh yeah, I remember this. I said, oh, Frank, did you ever win at this new Wembley? And he said, no, I say, well, I did. Thank you very much. Well, the interesting thing was, the interesting thing about going back to the chat about the team, clearly enough perfect scenario with rest, Thiago Silva will come in to marshal that defense and final at the end of the season. And the big games. And then the other possession is the boys have chatted about I think that is debatable host player. It's central midfield and then upfront I have it really is not under much pressure because Rommel Lukaku is not informed and hasn't played well. So he can afford to have a little bit in drop in form. Ziya actually think, yeah, can you say it up there in the front three with Timur villa has played himself back in as the guy said he was one of the match according to the announcer at Wembley. He played himself back end to be more of a starter on that foster 11 by the way these making the runs by his form year sky one over at the end, but he played a couple of the balls across the 6 yard box. So he's given Thomas Tuchel another headache because he's playing better. But I think down that Spain is kind of where took a war have one or two to make the silver one's not a big decision if he's fit. But certainly in the middle of the park and then is there any adjustments to that front three? That will be the little things that he made tinker with for the Cup final. Well, obviously because he's going to look at who the opposition is. So they've not been able to separate themselves this season. It's draws in both of the Premier League games and it was a draw let's face it in the league, copy went to penalties. Well, that's the only thing we're doing all. I would imagine if this every Cup final is tight and it goes to penalties is not taken Mende off and bringing cap on, right? I don't think you may remember it was kefir.

"From what you saw today, let's say that the final was played next week against Liverpool. For that Chelsea team, who would keep their place, who should he be starting to kill and who maybe does he have some questions over after what we saw today. Well, if I have to consider that the first half and then the second half, if I consider the first half, I change the old team. I wasn't very happy and I would not be at all, but the performance and the reason it's funny that I didn't see 100% of the Chelsea possible into that game and when it's called the goal they were crazy happy. I said, what do you do the job in order to show me that you really happy because you've done everything you had to do in order to win that game? I was very disappointed because no pace willing to go forward and to press iron to show you superiority that normally the normally as a so called big team you should show to the world. We didn't see that at all. After I was very happy with the behavior of some players, of course, when I'm going to contact comes into the middle of the pipe, but also love to check. Yeah, it's very easy. Because they paced up the paste of the game. They were more involved into the defensive aspect of the game, where we all do respect for georginio. Yeah, is there it doesn't lose the ball, but sometimes it slows down the game, and that's a good thing for Chelsea, especially in damage. At front, I have to say that harvest did another great game today. Vernon was named play of the game. Yeah, he wasn't. But he did the job, he did what he had to do, but really, how many chances Chelsea had the first offer. None, I think. We started off if well, it's modern not enough. But the arts of kuchen marks, you know, about some fair, the fitness of some players. Of course, look at who when he came on, miss many chances, the one we hit the post you could have should have gone in. So just to make sure before the end of the season, they're going to react. If.

"It's clearly quite a simple finish, it doesn't cost Chelsea in the end, but I think it just sums up Rommel Lukaku season. Now, good response from Chelsea after what had been a difficult week for them exiting the Champions League and now they are into another final this season and once again they will be facing Liverpool on the ground at Wembley Farah's Alexis Nunez nadim annua and Franklin just Franken made him right now actually because Alexis is hopefully going to grab some interviews with some of the players hopefully the managers in this game, but let's hear from Frank and nadim who are going to tell us what they saw in that game that was taking place at one believe today. Yeah, so Frank, I thought that first half it felt pretty even. Palace were obviously playing in my opinion as well as they possibly could have done. But in that second half, it was a whole different thing for Chelsea. Would you agree? Yes, I think Thomas duel found the right words to his players to a base up the game as we said and then we complained about in the first half. It was a really balanced game. The first half because you have seen them put all ingredients into their games to make sure they're going to have a good result. And they change they went higher on the field. They were more to put more pressure on the Christopher's players. And they created chances, therefore, scored two goals. It was a better behavior. Therefore, a good result for them. And they did the job of the all and we have to be happy for Jesse and the just so we clear. Frank was very happy as those goals are going in. He was very, very happy. There's no bias there, but yeah, Frank was very happy. And he finished, you know, that second office, what you prefer was what you want to see from Chelsea. You want to see them there their best. And I think if they do do that, then in fairness to palace, Chelsea are just the class of both. And they're so familiar with their time here. And I think it makes for a very, very interesting final. And it's definitely one I'm sure you're going to say Chelsea going to win. Is that right? Well, it's possible, you know, remember the carbo can final where he went into penalties to decide who was going to be the winner. So he's going to be tough. You know, we saw all due respect to Christa palace, you know, the expectation for the final was a Liverpool Chelsea. But Gustavo did what they had to do. I saw so much there and I say, well done for the job done, because there is no complaint whatsoever, bringing that team to semifinal of the FA Cup is already a huge performance. So I think the fans. That was a fantastic and we heard more of The Crystal Palace found that the Chelsea fighter. To be honest, I think the other side of that coin is that as the game is progressing, it went one nearly, went to nil. There was still singing, but you could see on the field the players didn't necessarily have that belief or know how in terms of how to get back into the game. And I think that's sort of the nuances that come with playing, even though you are a professional, for Chelsea they've been in so many times. And they knew what was required in that second half to really push through. And in some ways, you sort of thinking, is it going to.

"Between them this season and we will show you that a little later. But first let's look back on what we did see in this game FA Cup semifinal between Chelsea and Crystal Palace. This was a chance for palace in the first half, probably the best chance of it. Yeah, that wasn't a lot to talk about at halftime. You may have noticed if you were watching. But this is a good technique from curti here who keeps it down really well, Mindy makes a good save, save Anderson's offsides with a flag goes up. And then a nice piece of play from Timo Verna here, a lovely town. He has looking not quite like he's all self, but certainly more like it. And there's no need for hardware to go down. Rob will say that in commentary, it's a clear dive, it's cheating. Anthony Taylor, you can see his possession there gets absolutely spot on and Kai Havertz is yellow carded for his theatrics. And so nil Miller was, after the first half of action, into the second half we go, coyote narrowly missing ahead of here. Yeah, mainly doesn't make a great move for it. I don't know if he was just a little bit flat footed. He's backtracking karate, so it doesn't get us off his shoulder as well, I think. Yeah, maybe Mandy just knows it's going wide. But just to remember as well that it was Ruben Loftus cheek who came on for COVID since you've got injured in the first half Chelsea winning back the ball here and it would lead to the opening goal and it was through that man. I'd love to speak. That's a good skill, good technique, but metro has been excellent for paulus and gets caught in the ball. Actually, the pressure comes from as pola cueto, who really doesn't give him any time on the ball just here, snapping around, but wins it back. That puts palace under pressure. "It is Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup this season where they will be taking on Liverpool at Wembley on May 14th and once again this season, it's another cop competition that will conclude with the two sides facing off against one another. In the end, Chelsea did manage to get two goals in the second half after no goals in the first deserved one in the end for you, Craig Burley. Yeah, thanks for pretty much the way we thought Crystal Palace always had a chance, but just that little bit extra quality. And the fact that they've played better recently after that horrible performance against Real Madrid at home, they come out, they demolished and yet they went out of the tie, but they played well and was read and that set them up nicely for this game that they didn't make any mistakes. And it sets us a lot now for a really good effort. Not that it wouldn't have been. But certainly Chelsea had a lot closer to Liverpool, clearly than Crystal Palace. Who just didn't do enough in the day. There was that Anderson head and it could have made it to one should have made it to one. He actually was very good at palace. He's been a very good signing for them. But I just never felt Chelsea were really under that much pressure and his Stuart Robson said in the commentary. Second half, they just took the game, particularly unarmed by this girl for the neck, and then Vernon started making a lot more good runs. Loftus cheek obviously with the excellent finish and Mason Mount killed off Lukaku should have got himself a goal at the end. We'll talk about that. We'll see the pictures of that later. He can thank his lucky stars that it wasn't known at its own because that just about sums it up for him, but yeah, I think Thomas Tuchel got the changes just rate to do. And Liverpool Chelsea sounds to me like a very, very exciting efficacy final. Yeah, there's barely been anything.

"Really, that's fine, maybe for a Saturday lunchtime kick-off at home against a lower third of the table side. But not a palace. And you know what? And there was a couple of times where defensively the line, the back line, he dropped in a couple of times too deep. Yeah, the second goal, right? Yeah, I think you said the goal was him dropping in the chocolate and then Gabriel kind of missed the interception. And so there's things that he's working on, but again, you look at it, someone like Tavares, and then you think to yourself, I just hope that he's getting that kind of coach in what he needs at the minute because we know that he's fantastic. He's a fantastic potential to be a really, I think he also is one of those players who would really suit a back playing as the winner for the back through. Yeah, definitely. Because he's very, he can be attacking. We couldn't get out. We couldn't get out yesterday because we just have to we just have to take it on the chin that we didn't try to duke it out with him when I think that you have to have a go. You have to have a go. We didn't duke it out and like you mentioned right after half an hour. We played a bit because they felt comfortable in the fact that, yeah, we're okay. Like a blacker again, you know, it was a case of that's a pressing issue for us. Yeah, I think we're going to have a position. Yeah, we're going to have to start. I think they've probably already got somebody in mind. I think it's the next part of our development if we're going to be totally honest, simply we need, we need a striker who's going to is going to help because if we are going to play in games like that and even though we could have scored a couple, even if we got anything out of that game and say that game drew two two because like we did at home, I don't want to paper over cracks. I want us to I want them to be able to go back now to the training ground when they're all in tomorrow if they watch the video whatever atoms they said yeah, well this is what we have to do. We can't think, yeah, we've got out of that well done. We didn't play well, but we kind of got out of it because you just you're going to the next game, you need to go into the next game knowing how you deal with a palace. Not like, oh yeah, well, if it doesn't, if we start shit, we take a couple of chances and we're back in it. No, we need to know. How to go to a team like palace, unsettled them, a bit of smash and grab. And yes, yes, but smash and grab where you're able to then analyze it and say, well, this is what this is what arsenal normally do, but they couldn't do it through parte. Everybody dropped back a bit, and they got compact, they passed quicker, got out, bam, scored their half chance, and they defended well. We don't do that. We didn't do that. And once we can get to that place, Ryan, then we'll be able to go to sellers park and be able to frustrate them and take that half chance hopefully with a striker that can take that chance and play compact, but until that time, we are a work in progress with young teams where we're young. I agree. You know what I mean? I think a lot of people, I can already preempt a lot of people being like, what the hell this is rubbish your shit you're going too soft and arsenal, but I think this is a combination of an extremely talented, extremely well coached Crystal Palace side. And off the pace arsenal side with a couple of key injuries in positions. After an international.

"The ball and progression of the ball to Erdoğan. You're probably going to stop us from doing a lot of work. Now what I saw when Everton played against palace in the cup was it ever inside that came out that and they really put palace under the cosh pressurized them right from the back and stopped everything going through to those guys until like we mentioned on here and just housing got injured. They got that four or 5 minutes to recompose themselves and then they got going. I think arsenal should have at least have started the game with more intensity in trying to put them on the back foot a little bit. That's what I was a little bit surprised with, but too many shaky, too many shaky players. I thought Tavares was very shaky. I thought Gabrielle was very shaky in the way that he was in the way that he was even controlling and passing and just everything was awkward. He just looked awkward and even to a certain windows passing back to ramsdale the crowd will write on him. It kind of gave palace the impetus to say, you know what? They're not, they're not on it yet. They're not on it. They're not on it. They haven't started like, we may be expecting them to start. I'm really in our face and putting us under pressure. And they just, they grew into that game. And that is what this young team have to learn. It's like, you can't compare them to city because obviously going there and getting a point, people say, oh my God, he did it when they would have got it on that coach Ryan and said, that's a fucking good point of palace. Well, I think that's a sign of like, you know, it's like when arsenal lost at Brentford on the first day of the season, everyone was just like, what? And the laws came out, but then you saw how hard they pushed. Chelsea, Liverpool and man city throughout those opening stages of the season. And actually, I think I've said it numerous times. I was like, losing two nil to Brentford on the opening day of the season. That wasn't usually bad. Chelsea fans were Chelsea fans were kicked cooking me. Even the New York fucking Knicks used your meme. And they just go and look what Brent for done to them. Look.

"Think I think this is quite lenient from your way first. You know what? What I've been reading when I've read this stuff is that Wembley as always been a soft touch for people who do that digging in stuff. Always been a software. You get to Wembley, you're going to kind of dig in. And I think this for a certain fan and we know the family we're talking about that aggressive, drunk, fan who will go there and bully families body. I was in the stadium. You could see people see people holding their kids. You can see women like they could see the chaos in there. It was horrible to see, because Wembley, they've got a history. They've got a history of people bunking in. And a disruption at Wembley. And I think that the FA with everything was going on totally underestimated the caliber of fan. And people talk about yeah, well, we have to say yeah, but the pandemic and people hadn't been out, and it is no excuses. It's never really. It's never a nice excuses. No excuses. When you look back at it, Ryan, it was horrible to watch. But you know what's going to happen? Someone's going to go there. They're going to be roll out all the big name, big faces and this and that. And they're going to try and say, oh, that was a one off because of the pandemic because people hadn't been out because England were in a final the first time in 55 years. No excuses. There was no excuse for the way people acted. When you saw how our families were treated, people racially abused stewards under policing, and it's not the first time happened in the semis as well. The semis. So I believe that Brian for me should have got banned for more, and we should be playing behind closed doors for longer. Punishments like that, the same with the race or the beast stuff that we've talked about before. There's no point just half ice in the punishment. You have to make it a deterrent. He doesn't commit to it and follows through with it. And it was really nasty. There was a nasty one. And you know what? To get a kick like that. It's fucking you can see. What is walking off? I said, I said he's not coming back. When he came, I said, anything coming out for the second half, because you got to talk about the strike that strike was full. He was going for a full volley. What do you think Patrick took him off for in the end? Took him off. It should have been sent off at some stage. He pulled down Emil Smith Rowe. You know, and sacker got pulled down got booked for like tripping somebody when there was going through. He got me. James the car pulled out Emerson fro didn't book him. And then he was able to get away with that. So you fixed yourself like I said to them last night, why is derma I have to come out here and whitewash the mistakes? "On three and then look on the number of managed to get back in. Luis Luis was coming out around the backside calendar with Gallagher like carried on his ruin as well. If you actually like freeze it when Edwards on the edge of the bar. Arsenal are in a massive lane in massively bad shape. If you have that, if you saw the view behind the strike, there is a slight moment where I think edouard does this. He's quite clever here because I think he spots that Ben wise balance is slightly off. His slightly slightly on his heels because the strike essentially just he uses why as a bit of a decoy. He covers the rhinestones. It's an amazing strike though. But I think Ben white could why could have potentially done a little bit better, but also, it's one of those strikes that you're just actually fair Fox, sometimes, but a thing with right. They will pull that out. But they're going to pull it out if they're getting closer. Of course they are. Because remember, he's trying to get close, because for me, what I don't want there is Ben white to get closer to me. The problem I've got with it is that when he picked that ball up at no time, does this gap between him with the ball and Ben white backing off get closer in Ben white's favor. And I think that the closer he's getting towards the penalty box. It's just because of what I've seen. I see it in training with boldy with Tony with my Martin keon. They get their bodies in. If it means you have to get your closer and then let them do something to beat you. In that list. Well, well, you go back to the San Francisco 40 Niners were in the Super Bowl last year against the Chiefs. They actually just this week increase their equity ownership of leads. United from I think it was 15% of 37% spent up over 50 million English pounds Theo to do that. The Atlanta Falcons have been in a Super Bowl against the Patriots. Both of those teams have MLS stakes. The L. A Rams, who lost to the Patriots the following season. Their owner owns Arsenal on if you go further back beyond just the last five years, the Seattle Seahawks their owners own a piece of the MLS. Founders, But that's really the extent of it. It's more the last five. Six years where you've seen this trend before that, it was it was Seattle and the Patriots. The Patriots on the MLS is revolution that play at the same Stadium is the Patriots, and it's a It's not just the football connection. You point out two different multi team ownerships, right? The the owners of the Philadelphia 76 years on Crystal Palace, the team in the English soccer first division, right? And you're seeing this success force you're seeing multi Team ownerships, Uh, enterprises that owned more than just a team in one sport is sport. It's sports become big business. The ownership is crossing Not not just sports sports live boundaries but international boundaries. So, um, we'll probably see a lot more be more and more rare to see teams make the final finals of their sport. Just have that one holding new ownership group that that one team, I guess for. Some of these guys have some of these owners. Obviously you're super wealthy. It's fun. They they love sports. There's a part of that. Um, there are certainly owners who go at it that way. I mean, I think the new owner of the New York Mets see Cohen goes out and looks at it from this is fun. This is something I've always wanted to do. But when you Put together, uh, vast holdings across sports. It's more than just fun. It's a big business. Thanks. Dan Dan Kaplan, Sports business reporter for the athletic Coming up next. Going too far as a cheapskate.

The past from alexandra old and i first from shakira was exceptional. And what about you. You'll also earn two percent cashback at grocery stores and one percent on all other purchases. Now when you go out you cash in what's in your wallet? Welcome to brain stuff from how stuff works. Hey, brain stuff, Lauren Bogle bomb here. Celebrated paleo artist rate troll told us an Email shared passion for an obscure topic is what binds scientists and artists. They're both curiosity driven. And he would know based in Alaska troll builds on scientific findings to create art that depicts prehistoric life through paleo. Art, fossils are revived a single drawing or sculpture can define how the public will visualize an extinct species. So paleo artists strive to keep their work as accurate as possible. A task that gets harder. When experts disagree. It's a tough job to be sure, but also a dream job for loads of fossil fans and dinosaur enthusiasts. But how do they go about creating it? First off a little history dinosaur renaissance changed the game paleo art didn't always feature. Dinosaurs all pre stork organisms from early palm trees to Willie mammoths make worthy subjects nevertheless, the fascinating reptiles were at the center of. Significant period in the history of this artform called the dinosaur. Renaissance. A prior to the nineteen sixties dinosaurs were largely written off as dimwitted tail dragging hoax. Most paleo art from the early twentieth century reflects that view, but in nineteen sixty nine Yale paleontologist, John Ostrom published a new paper on Dino Nike's, an eleven foot that's three point three meter predator. Akin to the drastic park imagining of lesser raptor, noting its long legs and sickle shaped claws Ostrom claimed. Dana Nike's was an athletic beast who ran down its prey and might have even hunted in packs. A scientist went onto popularise now widely accepted idea, but today's birds are descended from Mesozoic dinosaurs, exciting hypotheses, like these changed the discourse about how dinosaurs looked and behaved in the nineteen seventies. And eighties a growing number of artists responded by illustrating, the creatures and active dynamic poses. What followed was renewed public interest in both the study of dinosaurs into paleo art itself. But there was a problem. Bare bones and skeletons often don't tell you a whole lot about the overlying soft tissue. Hence, some paleo artists have chosen to reconstruct animals reptiles in particular as linky beasts with ultra-low body, fat skinny tails and heads that are largely devoid of cartilage or loose skin. This practice has been called shrink, wrapping. And if you couldn't tell from the moniker. It's been contentious troll broke it down for us quote. I think there are some really valid points to be made about shrink wrapping many paleo artists reluctant to jump into more speculative reconstructions preferring to play it safer. So by keeping their animal's lean and mean paleo artists can highlight known skeletal anatomy without making conjectural guesses about an soft tissues that might not have been preserved back in the dinosaur renaissance shrink wrapping was in fashion. That's no longer the case modern critics point out that living animals tend to look a lot different than you might expect. If you had nothing to go on. But they're naked skeletons troll pointed out that things like trunks ears and blubber. Don't usually. Fossil is. We also spoke by Email with Matt Celeski paleo artists and museum exhibit designer who also offered his thoughts on the issue quote. Today's paleo artists are looking more closely at the extent of soft tissue in living animals. I think this fleshing out of paleo art makes for heightened levels of believability in the reconstructions and greater diversity in the way, artists approach their subjects in other words, chunky limbs and necks and not to mention poofy. Dino feathers have gone mainstream but figuring out what those features might have looked like take some serious research to scientists skeletal drawing is one of the most useful forms of paleo. Art, an animal skeleton is usually depicted in an upright position that is standing or running and juxtaposed against a black silhouette that represents the creature's body profile. Unfortunately in the fossil record complete skeletons tend to be rare when parts are missing or broken. Scientists and artists can only speculate about what those elements looked like slutsky said every skeleton presents unique challenges, but I find the most difficult thing. Is filling in the parts, you don't know extrapolating, the shapes of missing, bones or correcting the shapes of bones that have been damaged or distorted by time. Filling in each missing piece involves a complex mix of research inference and educated guesses, and I always wonder if they're better choices than the ones I end up making. But these efforts aren't new a let me take you back to eighteen fifty three when sculptor Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins was hired to build more than thirty full-sized concrete models of prehistoric animals for Crystal Palace park in London England, the man really did his homework consulting experts scrutinizing fossils and reviewing the scientific literature and short he was a dedicated paleo artist. One of Hawkins, Don molds had a carnivorous gut big enough to hold a table and some chairs so as a publicity stunt for his project Twenty-one guests, including paleontologist, William Buckland and servitude Owen were invited to climb down into the belly of the beast for an eight course, dinner party, the big shindig took place on New Year's Eve eighteen fifty three. Restoration projects have helped these masterworks survived to the present day. The beasts attract thousands of visitors every year, even though they're no longer deemed accurate Hawkins megalosaurus for example, stands menacingly on all fours, but scientists now think the meat eating dinosaur was bipedal nevertheless, the Victorian era giants capture the prevailing wisdom of their time. Giving them a men's cultural value prehistory matters. But so does our history.
