Bill Melugin: 5-Year-Old & 6-Year-Old Girls Were Raped by Smugglers
"When I interviewed Bill malusi last night on life liberty and Levin were pulling the clip Well let's play it He said this Go Let me ask you this Bill illusion Do we know how many people have died on the border or near the border since Joe Biden has been president Yes or no We don't have an exact number I know that fox's Griff Jenkins obtained a number from DHS a few days ago and I believe that number was over 550 this year I don't know what the 2021 numbers were but I believe there have been more than 550 migrant deaths so far in fiscal year 2022 We do know the numbers are essentially the highest they've ever been Do we know how many women have been raped We don't but I can tell you a horrific story late last year Our team and I we were in the Rio Grande valley We were in la Jolla Texas We were just patrolling like we normally do And we came across a law enforcement scene There was migrants on the ground police an ambulance and we got out to shoot some video and border patrol asked us to really stay back and they seemed more flustered than normal So we realized something was going on We saw these two little girls on the ground And we later found out that they were being treated by an EMT We later found out they were I think 5 or 6 years old each and they had just been both of them had been raped by a cartel coyote or a smuggler It was horrific So I do know that happened for sure That two girls 5 or 6 years old were raped By a smuggler Or a operative for the cartels Our borders wide open And this is something Joe Biden can actually do something about

Governor Abbott Blames Migrant Tragedy on Biden
"In the following way, we spent our first hour talking a lot. About the lessons to be learned from the horrible migrant tragedy of 50 corpses in the back of a truck, governor Abbott, here in Texas, hasty to say, that's on Biden. Could that truck would that particular truck have made it through, even if we were serious about the borders? Maybe. But I think the overall broader point is that porous borders have a death toll when the smugglers, the coyotes, the traffickers, know that they can pretty well flood people into our country at will. Because of policies that will do little to thwart that practice, well, this is going to be what you will get more of.
Ask Officer Tatum: The Roe v. Wade Issue
"I want to get back to the question that Michelle asked about the roe V wade issue. Let me just say this. You know, I would love to do more research and figure it out because it's very confusing to some degree. But it's not that serious. I think that people should not, first of all, the politicians are talking about roe V wade because they want to make this a political issue so they can win in the midterms. They don't get can care less about you cohan and your babies are dying or whatever case may be. They don't care nothing about the promiscuity. They don't care nothing about your heartache and pain, nothing about the regret after you do it. Women feeling lonely and depressed and all of the things that come with having abortions, they could care less. They want you to vote. They can care less about the people at the border. They don't care about them getting killed on the way over here dying again left in the desert by coyotes getting raped and all of the above. They couldn't care less, okay? They just want your vote. Roe V wade, I do not understand how a rational woman could be arguing about this at this point. Our irrational man could be arguing. Many of these states giving you up to 16 weeks of some crazy. I mean, I think 16 weeks is even way too much. They give you plenty of time because to be honest, a lot of people are arguing, what if you get raped or whatever can be? Well, if you ask me, I'm pretty sure you know what happened to you at least it within 24 hours of you having to go and get something done about it. And so there's no mystery. It's not like you get raped and you don't know you got raped for until you're pregnant. I don't know if that happening. Anybody that's involved in the incest, a medical issue is a completely different story and they always try to push this issue. Let me just say this. I heard Steven Crowder cities before. And I think it was a beautiful response. He said, if you talk to people who claim to be so involved in caring about the people who are raped or incest or whatever, ask them, less eliminate all of those people and allow them to have as many abortions as they can or whatever the case may be. What about the 99%? Can you agree that all of that is wrong? All in the papa gasket. The brains pop out in a pass out and they cry and they spit and roll around on the ground all day. That's what they're going to do because they do not have a real solution to the problem. They do not have they are not acting in good

Dysfunction in the Desert: A Look at the Stumbling Arizona Coyotes
"Also katie the arizona. Coyotes haven't exactly been the most stable nhl franchise over the years there's been a bit of a revolving door of owners and the nhl even took control of the team for a while back in two thousand nine after a bankruptcy filing so given all of that. What was the feeling when. Alex murillo became the coyotes new owner in two thousand nineteen or so appealing on a number of levels on new era of arizona. Coyotes hockey began today the nhl. I ever hispanic owner was introduced to the valley and it was heralded as sort of Watershed moment i think for the franchise in the sense. That here could finally be that guy with uber. Deep pockets like he was reported to be a billionaire. And someone that had tied to the latino community what started this is alex enrolling arizona's cowpeas which is a market that is about forty forty two percent down and really showed a commitment to wanting to grow that level of connection with fan base. You spittle to this. But it will stand up delekta akin arizona but luckily latina. It asked us. He has a really interesting. I don't wanna say rags-to-riches tail but someone that really supposedly scrapped. His way to where he is now. His parents fled cuba in the sixties. They came to miami in college. He opened a location for a pizzeria that grew to become a chain. I had this knack for picking up. Visit our broken losing money and turning him around and make them successful. I'm very proud to be a part of the fifty five year. Old morello owns a chain of pizza restaurants in l. a. casino on the las vegas strip a construction company as well as tv and radio stations. No doubt his will in history of success. Some major win for the coyotes.
Late-Stage Cancer Healing with Life Coach Tara Coyote
"Why the time. I moved back home to hawaii which was in the winter of two thousand nineteen and for the next few months. I was in such bad health space. I had so much cancer my lungs. I can't hold a conversation. I had to sleep sitting up for two months. Because i had so much cancer my lungs i was literally choking in my sleep. My bones were breaking down. I started walking with a cane. During that time i was referred to hospice and it was petrifying. You know i was losing weight. It was it was clear on my way out. And i'm very fortunate that the medical system here in hawaii they have aloha spirit. You know it's all about love and acceptance and my doctors here. They didn't push me. They weren't blowing me in the same way unfortunately did a northern california and they said listen. You know doing chemo could possibly save your life. But if you don't you probably have six months to live which it was true like my. I was dying. My partner at the time was literally scared. I would die in my sleep. So i had to face my worst fear of doing chemotherapy and face a lot of the traumas around my best friend. Deb's staff and i really sat with a question of do i wanna live. Do i want to do what scares me. The most and my son was twenty. Six at the time. And i thought i wanted to be here for my son. I had so many friends in my similar situation. Who had died from adhering to the natural route and i saw myself going that direction so i really checked in with myself and i said okay. I'm gonna do chemo. I'm gonna face my fears. I did the work of byron. Katie really questioned my thoughts and turn it around like you know at first. I thought he is poison. That will kill me. And i was in the public is sharing this message to so i really humble myself to turn this message around and tell the public okay. I'm doing chemo now So i had to turn the thought around from it. Being poisoned to it being healing nectar and i started doing chemotherapy It was very hard but it was a tremendous rothe experience. I'm so grateful. I did
Democrats Promote Inhumanity by Failing to Address Crime, Keeping Borders Open

Coyotes Have Taken Over Stanley Park.
"I'm jordan heathrow. This is the big story. Dr colleen cassidy. Saint clair is a professor of biological sciences. At the university of alberta she specializes in the study of how animals including peyote behave in landscapes that have been altered by humans. Hello colleen hi jordan. Thanks for having me no problem. I'm glad you could spare the time. Why don't you start by telling us what's happening right now. In stanley park in vancouver. But also i understand. It's not just in stanley park. Sure well what i know of stanley part comes to me from the news so similar to what other people know. There's an unprecedented situation going on there. Where there is spend thirty Documented attacks on people by coyotes. We're coyotes have bitten people in the past six and a half months. That's extremely unusual. I have never heard of something. Like that. Happening anywhere in north america previously. But nor have. I heard about the situation. That's occurring in calgary in the last month and calgary eight. People have also been bitten by coyotes. Eight different people so you mentioned that. This is incredibly unusual. How do coyotes normally behave in spaces that they share with humans well normal has been a sliding slope for many years decades really over about the past twenty years sir spin increasing reports from across north america of coyotes in urban areas probably coyotes always danced around urban areas and were seen there occasionally by people. There's a at edmonton. That was known as coyote alley a hundred years ago so it's not entirely new. That coyotes are in urban areas. But they just seem to be more. Abundant and boulder and that's occurring in urban areas across the continent from vancouver to halifax from phoenix. T. l. o. Knife pretty much. Every urban area in north america. That i've heard of anyway has a population of urban coyotes. And that's a fairly new phenomenon.
The Story of Pecos Bill and the Tornado
"Once upon a time in the wild west a little boy named bill fell off a wagon by the side of the pecos river. Now a normal baby would have cried. His eyes out that this boy was different. He crawled up to a mama coyote and just acted like one of her pups. It was a little hard with him. Not being as hairy. But he was raised by the coyotes for years until his older brother eventually found him and brought him home years later after that he went by the name of paco's spill and as he got older he became famous for being the toughest bronco buster there ever was and he proved it time and time again. Now in case you're a greenhorn. A bronco buster is someone who gets horses used to a saddle. Some horses are okay with being britain but others not so much the fastest and strongest horses. The best for rough riding would fight the saddle. They had to be ridden through the fighting until they got used to it to make that happen someone would have to try and ride while they were still wild. Of course the stallions would buck and spin and kick and jump and go absolutely wild until they sent their writer into the dirt. It was a hard job and bronco busters where the people they called when someone couldn't break a horse themselves and when you had a horse too tough to mean to downright nasty for a buster. You called paco's bill. Bill would travel around the wild parts of america looking for adventure and boy did he find it on his travels. He singlehandedly doug the mississippi river battled the bear lake monster to a standstill and fell in love with a wild woman who rode giant catfish down the rivers. And all that. It's just the first go round in the rodeo of bills life
Marking Your Territory, Elderberries, and Hydrangea Color
"Think we should start out with true or false ellen. It is about peeing in the garden to keep critters away. I have very mixed feelings about this. I have used predator urine in my garden in pennsylvania. I don't know if did a darn bit of good. I really don't but i'll tell you it smelled pretty darn bad. So if i were a bunny or a deer. I would not have gone near that stuff. It's interesting that We're starting with predator urine. Because i have very strong feelings about this and that is i cannot believe that this is collected in a humane way new. And you can't find any. They will not tell you how it's like. Well how it has to be as collected is they have to keep the coyotes or these fox in little pens with wire floors so that when they urinate goes down into a trough or something so it can't possibly be a humane thing so i am not in favor of using predator urine in the garden. Unless you're encouraging the coyotes and the to hang out and peeing your garden. Naturally that i'm all in favor of. I use the fox here in once i started looking into says this can't be good. This cannot be good but there are also people who will. Pd the borders of their garden in hopes of keeping deer and bunnies away. And i've read mixed things about this but well. i think i wouldn't encourage anybody to urinate too close to their vegetable garden or or things that you're going to eat that just kinda makes good sense that you don't want to bring you know harm on yourself in terms of bacteria tetra. That's why we carry waste away both either down into septic systems or sewage treatment plants.
How Come It's OK When Obama Says It?
"How come it's ok. When obama and the democrats note demographic changes happening in the country. But if i say it it's white supremacy right mr producer. How come how come when you look at the census data and you look these various Entities like gallup and you see it with your own. Two eyes obama brags about biden. Brags about it. The democrats brag about it. This is what the democrats want. This is what the democrats are doing. That's why the borders open. I've written about this talked about this. It's liberty and tyranny. How come we mentioned. Look what they're doing. Oh you must be white. Supremacist is barack obama. White supremacist. now that's number one. That's number one and this is purposeful what they're doing. Whatever you think about it this is purposeful. What they're doing number two white. America is Resentful and white. America fears this wide. America's resentful and white. America fears this. I don't know of white. America is there are people in this country. All walks of life all backgrounds all races who do not believe the border should be open to sex offenders and coyotes and a little kids coming across the border without their families. Mcallen texas is right on the border with mexico. It's eighty five percent hispanic. it's a heavy democrat city. They just elected a republican mayor. So the lie. That's out there. By obama and his ilk radical american marxist ilk and the media is that only white people and white supremacists are concerned about what's happening to the country. Now that's not true.
"coyotes " Discussed on All The Kings Men
"I think it's massive I'm working on it pretty done. It'll be probably at the time this is out my series recap article frolicking insider and i noticed some similarities between the way the kings ended last year and this recent five game run. The person have a nine three. It's a percentage over the last five games kingsborough. In one crooked. Peterson had a nine four nine. Save percentage in the last nine games of last year when the kings seven one at one and the consistency is that solid goaltending and winning can go hand-in-hand they've gotten quality starts from both goalies in this five game point streak which has been really good and he said it so often todd has no one seems to believe him when he says that both boys are important. They're gonna starting both goalies. And i think that this streak has proven that when both guys are on and last year it was at the end of the year. Both guys were on and the team was winning. Like there's something there you know when doesn't need to be just a starter in a backup because that's in the video game what they offer you right starter and backup. There can be two guys who are going and contributing just like there are at every other position the the goalie position and this is a conversation for another episode. But i just want to toss it out because it's been top of my mind reasonably the goalie. Position is such a riddle. Not just people always say. Goalies are rooted when it comes to are predicting them are analyzing the meringue or whatever but there's been such a increase in investment in the goaltender position over the last ten fifteen years whether it's teams getting goalie coaches now. There seems like florida that have a team of goalie coaches. You know the adamy. Yeah exactly and you know Finland and sweden decades ago established national programs to develop goaltenders. I don't know if russia has one. But i know that canada than saw the success of scandinavian goalies permeating league. And so then they started talking about will. Do we want to have a national program for our goal is that we wanna do it based on provincial status blah blah blah blah blah and to me it all it just reminds me so much of This metaphor i'm gonna use in the future so apologies in advance for all the times. I use it but it just reminds me of the last scene of batman begins where they start talking about escalation because at some point we're going to reach a place where every team has a huge team of goalie people..
"coyotes " Discussed on All The Kings Men
"I don't remember exactly what years it was. It might have been like. Oh eight to nine and then to not oh nine ten but there was a period where the team went from a from a team that lost twenty games within a one goal differential. To the next season they won. You know thirty games with within a one goal differential and it is that whether you want to call it experience. How grit chemistry. Whatever the list of words you want to apply to it are when you go from team. That's bad right the bottom of the league bad to a team. That's contending for a playoff spot to a team. That's competent to a team. That's good to a team. That's a contender. At some point. You do have to start winning those close games right. The you just mentioned And if this season is the season where they go from team that gets blown out. Twenty times loses close twenty times to a team that loses close forty times but they never get blown out. That's like an important evolution you know and then the next year or the year after that you can become that team wins. All those games finds way to win starts blowing other teams out and this is a season where we're playing the same teams over and over and over again so there's that to take into account silicon tack jarvis look at the sixteen games and the kings of had a legitimate chance to win fifteen of them bright and take out the the first game in vegas when they went down five zero with. You know four rookies on did. Yeah a lot of them playing against a team like vegas for the first time and they were a bit overwhelmed in the first thirty minutes you take that game out of the equation you could legitimately say that in the third period they could have won the other fifteen and i mean i. I think i'd like. I said i think that's an important sign of growth As a franchise helping that effort is the goalies right and i actually agree with todd. Mcclellan I've found all of the questions that different people have asked trying to get him to name a starter trying to get him to throw dirt on the career of jonathan quake. I've really liked his answer wages. We have two number ones. We need both of them. And you know you saw that with quick. Getting shot out and then Peterson and quake splitting the games in arizona.

"It's really fun as a kings fan with all these seasons of emotional investment in these two is And now carter's getting in on the action to you. They make it look. Easy sometimes is kind of maybe another way to say yes. Look like the play in arizona with like petar was kind of along the boards. There were two guys on him and it was. You can say at one way of like. The coyotes didn't cover dustin brown. Or you can say another where like dustin brown knew where to be exhibited that pass from undergo petar and he's just so good like within five feet of the blue paint that if he's there in that situation you're he's putting an end because what seven maybe eight of his goals have been within five of the blue paint and he just like he dominates that area. He's so good in those little little spaces. And i mean kotaro. You've you've watched him a lot longer than me but like he just has that ability to to make the right pass and make the right play like nine the nine times out of one hundred and it seems like he's getting rewarded with points this year for making the right play and it's not just making the right play like he's now getting the stats because one of the fights that i used to have on. Oh eight years ago with king fans was. There was a small but vocal group of people who had accused us brown of having stone hands. And i and this is again eight nine ten years ago ham and i would say not only does he not have stone hands but he's actually one of the better passers on the team especially when he's playing with players that he's familiar with and you see now like i said these opportunities open themselves present themselves and i don't i'm i don't claim to be a strategical savant when it comes to hockey strategy. I don't know. I'm not even necessarily familiar with all of the terms that i probably should be so. I'm not gonna pretend to understand the difference between todd. Mclellan system john stephen system darryl sutter system and terry murray system but i do know that for the better part of brown dowdy co-stars career..

"Maybe that's one though like you said where it's andrea kobe. Tara dustin brown two guys who bright know exactly how the other thinks they connect on that play but nonetheless. It's a good sign of gabes playmaking abilities you can make that pass For sure and one quote that that stood out to me was when todd mclellan after the first game he said we saw what gave up at the end of last year. Seven points from ten games. And even i was like as this going to score twenty goals in sixty points next year and eighty two game season and i think that it was unfair to expect that he was just going to come out and be the dominant number two center because he only has fifty or so pro games to his credit. Coming in and you know like so much talent and so much ability. He's clearly figuring it out of how to play this league but it's important to remember that he's only played twenty six. nhl games. And i think we just kind of keep that in mind. And i i think when you look at it with that lens instead of like a man. Why isn't this guy on a sixty point pace right now. You kind of gain like even more of an appreciation for like how good he is. Yeah the team is stocked. Full of rookies on any given night depending on who's injured and who's not. I think it's easy to forget. That guy like grunts drum what the rookie classification scale is but in my mind. He's still iraqi right. He's got forty two. Nhl games He hasn't played more than fifteen in any specific season. Yes that goes back to two thousand eighteen nineteen. I think it's one of those like he's not a rookie by any standard. But he hasn't played a full. Nhl yes. i didn't get to have something. like twenty. four games spread out over a certain amount of time but but in my mind even though he's twenty three even though like i said he's got forty two games by mighties rookie. You've got jared anderson dolan I know leeann anderson has a hand has more games than than average. But and then you've got all the guys on the on the blue line Plus vardi think the point you're making is like these aren't three four five year established. Nhl guys who are rounding out half of this roster right now guys who are have played parts of seasons or maybe maybe one one full year not even but you have you know half of the roster right now his guys who were still establishing themselves as nhl players and are you know you've seen the pros and cons of that but a lot of guys who have the abilities but haven't quite you know locked down a fulltime nhl job. At least entering this season they had know exactly. And and and even guys like blake. Lozad or matt. Roy or sean walker who had one or two full seasons. It's still it's still one season and they have a right while he's on the other side of the sorry go ahead..

"To want to save full really solid games because i think even todd mclellan referenced That he had a strong first period was the first period in a in the first game against arizona and then maybe he struggled way. But but sorry. I'm trying not to say nonetheless as much as i do. Some really nice passes sets up the carter goal and obviously scores the goal himself. Person how to gave lardy look to you. Buddy look good. I thought the to kind of theme Were in certain individuals. I thought were very good. All and certain individuals presented timely moments in the arizona series. And i thought gabe kind of brought both like i thought he had some stretches of very good play. Seems like he's starting to settle. In with jeff carter in adrian cambay better together. I think than they did. Maybe the first game. They played the other which is good. They're starting to gel a little bit more. And then you get that timely goal in the third period from lardy the kings had lost a two one lead. Just a couple of minutes before and you know carter makes a very nice dropped pass. That frees up the slot for velocity and a player like that is not going miss from that range. You just had that hard. Heavy wrist shot. That was referencing. The post game press conference That was really impressive. So it's good to see gabe kinda doing some more of those things not does offense lead but overall we know he's capable of I thought it was maybe his best. Two games set so far this season. Yeah one of the things that occurred to me because i've been fascinated by his season Especially as of late now that he's sort of been bumped up to top six minutes. I guess he's going to get better. He's gonna learn the speed of the game he's gonna learn when to assert himself in moments and and all that but but. I think that i had forgotten that. It's you know it is a team game right. One guy can definitely improve his own read of the game but his linemates also have to get used to him becoming more assertive and finding those moments so he had one rush up the ice in the second game where he came up. The boards sorta cut to the middle but he was pretty low in his too low in the zone to to make move himself. And i don't remember if he was behind the goal line or at the goal line but he but he did that he did a centering. Pass back to adrian kemba. Who was in the you know. Basically in the crease but it felt but if i remember correctly campaign had his back to him i didn't even see the past coming or certainly wasn't a position to convert pass into a chance or anything and i just thought okay. Well you know if the two of them play together for another month two months whatever maybe maybe in the future Realize that a not only that not only has already aac capable of making that pass but be prone to making that pass and maybe he's looking for that pass and it's not necessarily a guaranteed goal. But maybe it's a chance maybe becomes another pass. You know to open man on the other side like so. It's not just the lardy growing his game. It's also growing in chemistry and awareness with his linemate so might be thinking that short individual. I watched it. I watched it was one of those to me. Just like it was close to being a good chance. It was didn't connect but you see that throughout the game throughout the season right like plays that are close where geyser a split second often..

And i am trying really hard not to get ahead of myself and trying really hard not to think about what every game means for a playoff push. But i can't help myself you guys. I really can't at any rate. We're not gonna spend too much time talking about the playoffs just yet but we are going to take a look at the two games against the arizona coyotes and to help us do that. I think we should call zach duly call coming to us all the way from saint louis franchise insider zach duly. How're you doing it. Exact jesse. Doing great it's a good morning early afternoon in saint louis excited to be joining us. Yeah we're trying to cram this episode out before the kings take on the blues and back. Well not back to back games. I'm struggling with that. all seasons. Actually call him back to back even if there's a day in between them so it's weird right i guess consecutive games is rally the word and then we actually play on back to back nights as we do in minnesota here. He's a games back to back. But it's one of those weird little distinctions. That only you. And i care about yeah well and if the minnesota if a series like the one against minnesota didn't exist right if we didn't already call that back to back i would have no problem calling the upcoming series of games blues back to back but it does so anyway but we are not talking about either one of those we're talking about. The two games played against the coyote going to say the coyote avalanche. But that's not right. The arizona coyotes exact. The team comes away with four points at a two games. That's good sweet series. But i didn't feel like it was a dominant for points. Not that that matters and just curious where you a scale of one to ten. How dominant would you say that series. The kings performance against the coyotes was not a an expert. On the county's i haven't watched them very much outside of these two games..

"The not too distant future. I don't know as far as overrating vegas i'm not. I don't know what ratings the he's referring to. But i think they're a good team i think one of the three best teams in the west alongside a saint louis in colorado. And i. i'm with you. I mean they'd like to have some more easy scores. They they have the whole patch already has an another good year. Stolen of course is a is there full for them. But a you know. I i i think. Probably the guy that needs to return to form for them as marshall a little bit we had an unreal year the first year. They were in vegas and he needs. He needs to score for them. He really does But i i don't know that they're overrated really. I people look at them as you know the top third of the league and i think that's where they belong As far as la man. They've got that nine in the world junior tournament two years ago. They had nine guys in the tournament. This year Their pipeline is getting pretty full of prospects. How can they be well. It depends how those kids develop right like i. They've got the potential to be An up and coming young developing team in a hurry. You just have to hope that you know a third of those prospects really stick. It could be just again earlier. We are in the nhl regular season. The goal tending seems to be a theme of this podcast. Today's anyway map wants to know who is going to get more starts in vancouver by the end of the season is going to be the young up and comer n- thatcher gamco or. Is it going to be reagan. Opie i think the difference will be five starts between the two of them. I unless things go right off the rails and they decide to play damn co all the time to get them more time. I think we'll be. We'll get a few more starts. But i don't think it's going to be a great difference interesting. That's good kandhamal right. I heard probably a week. Ten days ago jamie. Madonna and talk about the best hand in hockey in his mind. Harry price an jake. Gallon provided dr coke can be as good as we think he's going to be. There's no reason the question that i don't think at this moment that's a pretty good tandem. I would say by league. Comparison isn't it. It's a solid. It's a soul of doom. And i can't tell you guys gonna be better than the other and that's probably why. They moved so quickly on hold. Once they moved on from jacob marks from they decided they couldn't couldn't get back contract on they moved on. And now you're you're withhold being cohen. you've got a vet who looks to bounce back and you've got a young guy. That's going the other way you know who's who's resume is growing. I think they're goaltending is not going to be their problem. This you all right buddy. What's your week. Look like i know this week is. It's a tough one with all the games that we're doing across the board. It's game after game after game after game. That's that's pretty much it games as this week Some jets intermission stuff. I got edmonton and toronto. On friday for my first game that i'm doing off to this year old studios here in vancouver and broadcast in the oilers in toronto salt. Get-go that's the way it is. It's the world the way it is but b busy week as your knee by the way. Somebody tweeted at me the other day because we didn't talk much about your knee in the last episode. Is the rehab coming along. "As you're ever going to meet if if people listen to to our pod. Here and didn't know shane or weren't quite familiar with them. Outside of a player you might listen to him and think all yet each trying really hard to be a nice guy if you run into him at seven eleven or a boston pizza. That's what you get like. His his whole way is is just the way you should be like. It makes me feel like a schmuck honestly listening to him. Because i'm like just everything he's doing he's all in and committed and passionate and he's doing it for the right thing. When i heard that vision that they have in arizona. I'm like that's the only way the coyotes franchise is gonna make a real foothold and it's a grand vision. But they have this vision from jeff vinik in tampa bay and it's clear that's part of what they're trying to follow. I thought shane was was an awesome player. I hated playing against them. Because drake's he would run over toppy not even really noticing just like you were a speed bump is the guy waste two hundred and thirty five pounds and he just any go right over. Top scored four hundred goals and he had nine hundred points plus Just an guide so glad he was able to come on today. Yeah and full credit for a man who has stuck by the arizona coyotes through thick or thin and there there were tumultuous times when he left to join the national hockey league. He did it because there was opportunity opportunity to learn not further as career. Just learn but he didn't talk about the bad stuff that he could see again. A front row seat is what was going on with the arizona. Coyotes pushed outside ill when the opportunity is there to come back with new ownership and what e jumpsuit in man all hands on deck and the arizona. Coyotes are much better organization.

"Alright. Lis to be joined on. The rain rigs hockey podcasts by arizona coyotes. Chief hockey develop an officer shane. Don dahler explain what that is. I think i've got a pretty good idea. I'm sure ray knows more about it than me. But i mean are you on the ice. Are you evaluating your prospects. Are you looking at your proceed. Doing all of the above. What does a hockey development officer do for the arizona. Coyotes well as of right. Now it's your you can't really get into the onto the ice or do any of that because one of the one of the groups. I think i once that's kind of all dealt with than i'll probably be doing a little bit of that as well but right now. It's probably a little bit more on the business side working with the with heavier the president and then obviously Talking with talk. And then going into st bill once in a while and Helping out with. I can there But i think in the end rent right now. It's so hard because everyone's kind of doing a different job because you're like how can i help. What can i do now And that's really. What kind of wasn't my plan is as of today donor. You've you've been around the coyote since they're since they moved from winnipeg and how. What was the decision to get involved more in a full-time bates. There's always been a thought that you need to be involved with the coyotes. What was the what was the step. That said alcaide. This is the right time for me. in what i i had spoken with the morillas We went out for dinner last january. And then colbert everything can happen. And we kinda backed off a little bit and When have air came in and got involved him. And i started to get to know each other and his view of what i think a professional team should look like was really something that i resonated with me about how you can really help the community. A professional team should be the healthy community and make it a better place. And i started to get excited about that. Obviously working with the league and being over hawks was like it was so much to have that experience of one kind of bring it to the to. The coyotes was really what i. I thought that i have a chance to do that. And so i was kinda when i got probably the most excited after talking with beer and and getting to see their view of what it should look like so the the difference has to have a little bit to do. I would think what the connection to one team. As opposed to your at hockey ops. And you can't really be a fan of anything. You're just hockey ops correct. Yeah the dog in the fight like the competition the Watching and n n. I mean my connection to the coyotes is i mean it's it is what it is the team that i wanted to be with him and and worked for and wanted to stay with her as long as i could so that when the opportunity and they presented an opportunity. That was probably as much as anything they're like. Would you be interested in doing this. Ties again my great negotiation by doing all. You can probably do a better job than that. But i talked. I felt like i learned quite a bit of hockey outs. With just the way the way the holy in murphy roddy they kind of they meet with people with you know walks kinda runs the officials and wets kind of make overs views. Everything on the on the goalies in distant overall hands on with every club. I learned a ton of just being around those guys and i felt like i was in a spot i can help. And so when they offered it. I was excited to think that i could help. It's probably the biggest thing. Oh i don't even know how many years ago it would be shamed. But i live in vancouver and you mentioned that you always wanted to stay with the coyotes. There you were a free agent and vancouver came at pretty hard was. Was it really difficult for you to say no. This is where my roots are or did you. Did you give it a little bit. Thought all i looked at houses in over all over a point grey and we did. We did the whole thing. My wife and my wife's from new issues born in new s. We live in kamloops during summer autumn shoe shop during summer. So it was something I got my brother-in-law leads in lines bay and so i was It was something that We really thought a lot about san. I had an opportunity with demi with misra leaning and was so impressed with him and and the whole organization. we just finished finished being in the conference finals. And we had yan's and we had oliver larson coming up. And i probably and smitty was just amazing so you kind of thought we got. I'm not leaving now like now when we when it came down to it i was like man. I'm not leaving. I actually think we have a chance to be okay and Unfortunately it didn't but upstate commodore regret it for a second so donor deal yourself to think bigger picture and you just talked about you. Know some of the considerations you had as a player right and for family decisions You decided to stay in arizona. Billy armstrong just brought on war as general manager of the arizona coyotes. Not that long ago. You're part of the management staff now in arizona. But what does the future look like for shane. Doan or do kinda just pump. The brakes a little bit. And just give yourself time to learn something done for no no different than your approach might have been when you join the national hockey league and learn what you talked about Inside the world of hockey operation so the bigger pick what are you. What are you planning. What are you working towards. While i think i definitely think the need to come in up to hot. That's one thing that i've kind of learned over my career that it had to come in guys that come in hot and seems to be a little bit heart and i wanna come in and be supportive and help out bill and how heavier and do the things that they need me to do to make them look as good as they possibly be. So that's kinda. My goal is today. And i just want the coyotes you look at what you look at. What ben heck done in tampa.

"We have an interview with coyotes chief development officer chain known man. He's been a busy guy of late. Not just the national hockey dating back to the off season. Where effectively ran greening gates for Connor mcdavid and austin matthews among some of the other. Nhl stars will talk to donor above that. Lots of heat ray. On rand rigs twitter this past week around the cross. Check to the back of austin matthews. The toronto maple leafs complained a bit about matthew's didn't but those around them did then people. Now i guess leafs fans in general complained about it. You're not a fan of any one particular. Nhl team but you didn't like it. Because i think like everybody else you thought it was a penalty. That went uncalled nearly three hundred comments on that particular play and people seem to be divided. You lived it so it's a penalty bottom line right. Just call it a penalty. Look the defense should be able to clear the front of the net. You should be able to move guys around. You should not be able to bury anyone with a crosscheck and abused this example before. And it's not even an exaggeration. You'd be in front of the net and the d. Would be cross checking you just kind of on your shoulder pads on the back on your back but on your shoulder pads right and after about the third one. The ref would yell. That's enough and you're like wait a minute. The first two were penalty as well. There's also a safety thing here too if you think of it. If you're getting cross check from behind like on your shoulders if you get it hard enough you fall for pucks coming from the point now. Your face is about three feet off the ice their inherent danger to look. They've got a book a rule book. Just call it just. I understand given some leeway we don't wanna take all the toughness of the game but penalties penalty man like it hundred percent agree and look. I mean we shouldn't expect the national hockey league steven. Welcome colin campbell. Anybody to call a conference call with all the referees and say would you start calling this. It almost happens organically. Doesn't it because there was so much talk about out one individual play in the media. You know these guys. They don't tune out everything i mean. They're they're hearing the same level of noise so maybe it just happens naturally where they just start paying a little bit closer attention to what's going on but eh they're gonna need to have some penalties handed out or else there's right. There's no reason to stop if you're the d. You're going to keep doing it until somebody gives you a reason not to do i. I acquired a little bit. Drake's to the running into the goaltender. Just think how many there used to be now. That penalty is cold every time. It's tuesday today. Is we take this on monday night. Down cal connor got a running into the goaltender penalty against toronto and it was the right call. He should have got a penalty. And i think we see way less of those plays now than we did even two years so i think that's what they have to do in front of the net again you and we'll continue to talk about it. Not just young on social media as well headlines week ray brought to aspire friends at lagaras dot com the garowe dot com jewelers. Valentine's day will be here before we know it has come a quick so get the lagarde dot com for something that you know she's gonna love and let's do valentine's day op right. We did it upright last week. And we're gonna do it upright again this week. Overall your impression of the first week in the national hockey league lot of mistakes others some galvanizing moments as we just talked about. There's been some lopsided affairs. i didn't see saint. Louis getting walked away they got tagged by the colorado avalanche. But your overall interpretation are your overall view of the hockey thus far faster than i thought it was going to be scrambling thought it might be but i think that's pretty predictable. I don't want anybody thought that teams we're gonna come out of the gate and everything was going to be a playoff ready right. I mean the guys haven't played in forever. The ten days of training camp just isn't near enough and in particular with the long lay often. I mean there's been some. There's been some great stuff you know. I mean we've seen some of the best players make some amazing plays already which is always really interesting. We've seen some things. You can't hardly believe in boston's played three games in the haven't scored a goal at regular strength yet. I mean that's our for me To believe i. I watch the game on the weekend. And there's a the data charles sitting in washington jersey and man that i thought he looked good in it but it just looked on. We're gonna go to a new team after a long time and they don't look right. Yeah yeah but didn't charles look good in that jersey america. he looks pretty good in that jersey ash. But it's still it's still different. Definitely different You know. Dave tippett head coach. The is very very well and and again. We're recording this on tuesday. The ordered played four games. They've sputtered out of the gate. With the exception of the one game. Where dry sidling. David were lights out. Good as advertised. Would you be concerned. Would you be altering the structure. Because you're goaltending is week. Your defense isn't as good as you hoping it could be or would you be more patient and just kind of say okay. Let's just kinda hall of some of the rough edges year and and hope that the goaltending falls in line with the rest of our game while a in their monday game. They made a couple of changes on defense. They took out their two young guys. Ethan bearer and caleb jones to me. That's a more conservative. Because they'd give up just a bucket load a goals in the first couple of games. Yeah some that's on cost in but mandrakes they're They're going to miss oskar cleft bomb. They already have but they've got to find a way to play around it in. I don't know. I don't know that they could go with the two young guys right now. I think chris russell needs to be in. That lineup is kind of a just a steady third guy and he's not flashy and people you know analytically. They don't love the way that he plays. But i don't know that two young guys right now is is the best way to go because they seem not just those two but as a team they seem to be scrambling all over the place. Give up forty shots at night and doesn't matter who's a net mardi gras door can be a net for. You're giving up forty shots. You're you're gonna come out on the shore. Animals night's bigger goaltenders. I didn't think we'd be talking as much as we've talked about the third goalie on. Nhl teams and you know again. It's obviously ovid related. And maybe these. The national hockey league forewarned by what went on with the denver broncos in their their quarterback situation where they had a wide receiver from their practice. Roster come in in half the star just because of how covid nineteen. You'll hit their quarterback core but there's been a goalie carousel hasn't with that number three goalie because that's position now..

"Regular thirty dollars and with this code and M DVD. That's an Amazon New Mexico DVD. You'll get fifty percent off of that Thing v you get it for fifteen bucks. I I watched this with my boys here earlier. This week is pretty pretty funny. Because I remember. We interviewed JP Wilson. Nielsen's last year and he talked about when he was getting started, and he bought Kyle's DVD because he wanted to go to new, Mexico and trap, and he said he wore that dvd out, so I just kept picturing a young JP Wilson sitting there. Watching the kyle traffic in New Mexico this DVD. It was pretty awesome it's an older DVD and video quality and audio quality is not a flat out there. Right on the line just to let you know how to time. Don't expect top-quality practicing basically shot this himself. And Kellen came along the line with them part of the time, and did some filming as well, but you know it's basically a home camcorder type deal, but there's some great information in this and is really entertaining it's windy, so you can hear the window all the time in the background, but that's trapping out West for you. So. Really the coolest thing you get to see the country and he trapped. Can't I'm going to I'm not going to do justice to this I'm going to say somewhere around one hundred coyotes, but I think it was more than that and those trips. In New Mexico in, so you see a lot of coyotes in sets in a lot of catches you get to see a lot of sets made and different situations like the coolest thing for me is. If I was just planning to go out west, and I never trapped there before you can see examples of what the habitat looks like where he made the. The Satin how he made it and the types of setting made, and it really helps things. It helps you kind of get going on. You know what to think about what to look for when you're. You're going to set traps out there so I know GP, found it very useful because he went out there New Mexico shortly after that and did really well. And I'm at some point. I want to go back out west and induce inducing some trapping again. I'm not sure we'll hit him going to be able to do that, but that's kind of. That's kind of in the back of my mind. I've been thinking about it a little bit lately and especially when I watch his DVD, so check out N. M. DVD for fifty percent off Kyle sandhills New Mexico trapping and Gerard five five dollars off any order over.

"So a just just to point this out one more time. If you remember from our lime disease episode we concluded that if we hadn't wiped out Wolves. Ticks wouldn't have been able to take over and expand because the deer population exploded. That's right there would not be coyotes in Chicago right now. If the wolf population was stable in the United States or North America in coyotes also were able to live in and are able to live in urban environments whereas wolves could not. Oh no way So they've really were basically like. Hey we'll we'll go where the wolves won't go. We'll eat what the wolves won't eat. Yeah we'll hunt ourselves because the wolves can't right and Look at us. We're GONNA thrive without wolves. There's nothing to to keep them in. Check to keep their population in check now. Angry facebook IRS. That's it basically. So that whole ratification campaign has been put to the side. There's definitely still lots of coyotes that are killed every year. Yeah I think between two thousand six and two thousand eleven. They killed more than half a million coyotes. Legally I saw that there is a half a million that are killed a year still. Yeah like one minute every year. I've also seen thirty five thousand. I don't know if it's just certain divisions are responsible for like half a million or maybe certain years. They ramp up the efforts more than others. I don't know but there's definitely still a tremendous amount of coyote deaths. But as we've seen coyotes have been extremely successful in the face of this extermination campaign Just by by reproducing. Yeah depending on the local regulation yeah. Yeah and if you're a rancher you don't have to be a part of some program like you're you're taking care of things in the rancher way right which is traps guns. Yeah poison yeah. There's no laws protecting coyotes. What's up again? The only laws far as I know I think it's part of the Endangered Species Act. That says we're not allowed to drive coyotes to extinction but that's it you can kill a coyote. The only things keeping you from shooting a coyote like in city limits are gone ordinances. Basically you can kill the coyote any way you want But here's the thing. Put a pillow over space. Go visit in the hospital but the the thing is is what they're starting to figure out now because they're so successful that you don't actually want to kill them. Killing them has this ripple effect through their society where they start reproducing more than stronger. And here's the other thing. If the Coyote is still not. It's not acting aggressively toward humans. Hasn't started to take pets if you just know. It's in the area but it's trying to keep his distance. You may actually be better off with that coyote right because if you get rid of that coyote another coyotes. GonNa move in Coyote might be much more aggressive than the last one. You just got rid of. Yeah like if you've got a decent neighbor. Maybe that's good enough. So that's kind of like the idea that dawning over people with coyote man. His coyotes aren't going anywhere right. Dang put and the best you can hope for is one that keeps his distance in his afraid of humans. Yeah which is generally what's going on in urban areas When we're talking about ranchers the reason they're doing this is not just because they hate coyotes is that they blew a lot of Animals due to These predators that sounded so mean he's predators There's it's hard to get good stats but the DA said in two thousand fifteen there was self reporting which you always gotTa Kinda wonder of thirty three thousand A little more in change of adult sheep eighty four thousand lambs lost Koyo Cheese and the self reported so take it with a grain of salt but there they do lose a lot of animals and chickens and things like that right I've gone on my soapbox before about keeping your cats inside not going to do that again except to say. Keep your cats inside. Yeah if you have like you know you're on the fence about keeping your cats inside. You just watched some videos that you may seen. Yeah or just cats being taken. Do I want my cat to live several years longer right because the statistics show? Yeah that outdoor cats don't live as long and not just that Not just with cats too but also with dogs if you if they're coyotes in the area and there's a really good chance there are no matter where you live in the US you Do not you should not leave your small dog in particular outside unattended. You basically let them out hang out with them and then let them back in. You definitely. Don't leave them out at dusk or dawn by themselves or overnight. That's right We said you don't need to worry too much about being attacked as a human There were a couple of kind of grizzly cases One that's just very difficult to even talk about. Frankly nineteen eighty-one little three year old girl was dragged from driveway in California and the dad did rescue her but she died as a result of her injuries from that fractious In two thousand nine there was a really strange thing in Canada. Where nineteen year old woman was stocked and killed by at least two coyotes while hiking in the middle of the day. And this is apparently the only adult human killed by coyotes on record so yeah and the only explanation for that that I could possibly come up with is that she was around their den It was around there pup time right say spring summer as a pretty bad time to be around defensive of their turf. Yeah and then thirdly that those were Made with wolves Interesting because when the the coyotes will meet with dogs they'll meet with wolves it's not like super tried spread but it does happen it producing. Koi Dogs coils but the coils in particular can be much more aggressive than your standard coyote so I wonder if those three factors played a role in it probably. It was definitely an outlier. It's very I mean it's sad no matter what that girl also. She was like an up and coming country singer. Like on the verge of taking out and Hayler Mitchell. Yeah wow so they say like. We said that these kill couty programs. Don't even work that well and there is There are statistics to back up the fact that Nonlethal methods of county control or more effective. Which we're talking about scaring them like wind chimes and air horns and they're really giddy jumpy so he made a lot of noise in front of a county they're probably GonNa Bolt. Yeah it's called hazing. Yeah and you know like any time you see a coyote around your area really anywhere. It'd be a good neighbor You WanNa Hayes them doing my house. You not just let it happen. Let's don't just let it pass by like you need to take that Opportunity Hazem to keep them feeling insecure tree. More serious right. The more secure a coyote feels the more the more brain Dacia grazing. They're going to become coming into your yard trying to take your dog your cat so you WanNa Hayes them every chance you get so that. They noticed day over there this their turf. This is your turf right. Do you have an umbrella you want to open the umbrella? This says to pick up your small dog Oh yeah sure. I've also read at the Coyote. I've also read you. Don't WanNa do that because you make yourself small when you do that. When you're using a coyote you WANNA make yourself as big as possible. What do you mean you make yourself small? When you squat down to pick up your dog. Oh you seem smaller than you do. Standing up with your arms spread. We'll do it very quickly. Well but the better thing to do is keep your dog on a non flexi lead straight leash stink anyway It's no more than like six feet in length. Keep it. Just pull it back close to you. While you're waving your arm and shouting at the Coyote go away. Yeah and I also thought it was funny to Ed pointed out that like even if you have a big dog that could like kill a coyote. Someone say like Oh I think you can take them go. Get Him Zeus. Yeah maybe not some people. Would you never know those Irish wool? Founds sure they're like the largest dogs. Yeah Wolf out there like bread to take on wolves so they could take on a coyote. I can see having that temptation. Like dog really could take on this cayote. Maybe what did I know that was dingoes? That pettit in Australia. Of course where caddies is not North America but dingoes were a little. They weren't dogs either and and it was like foxes knowing they look like dogs but when you're around them and this was at a three can hold. Koalas and stuff like that. It was obvious that it's not a dog. Now they're wild dogs right. Well I I don't even think they're wild dogs Or maybe they're totally related. But I just remember getting the sense Scotty and I both did my friend. That was with me Who now they just? There was a certain the way they carry themselves. Just like you're not a dog. It literally is a dog Kanus Lupus Dingo. So it's a subspecies of like dogs. Yes but let me say not a dog like not a domesticated wild dog. Yeah you just tell the difference. Yeah and I'm sure. The same is true with coyotes. Because coy dogs like you said things look at that cute little Bingo Koi Dogs are employed. Puppies are super adorable. And technically you can raise one and even a full cowed. If you get it as a puppy you could have it as a pet with a really bad. It's not a good idea. Because they are coyotes and the counties GonNa Coyote It it has happened there. Are you know you see those eccentric people out there that have like a pet coyote? It's thing but it's just not a good idea. There unpredictable. Yeah you don't want to like get a cat companion for him In in the United States so The coyotes image has really gone through some weird transitions Early on had a really bad reputation At apparently was made way worse by Mark Twain when he wrote roughing it and Eighteen. Seventy two really. There are a few pages dedicated to how lowly a coyote is and everybody was like. Yeah we hate coyotes from that point on but that actually followed in partially this view that had been around for ages that native Americans had of coyotes. Not NECESSARILY THAT. It was a lowly animal but that it was a trickster yeah kind of like a prayer rabbit type. I think so But then he was also in some With some some groups like the Creator God the Creator Deity. There's all sorts of different roles that the coyote played native American mythologies because there are so many different native American mythologies right but it was very prominent in southwestern tribes mythologies and very frequently as a trickster very.

"Welcome to the PODCAST. I'm Josh Clark. And there's your other hosts froze w chuck Bryant there. There's cheery role in our producer. Mrs Deputy Kayode Edition. So how are we going to pronounce it Coyote but coyotes fun but you could also pronounce Cody Koi Oti Shirt? There's a lot of ways. Yeah so I say coyote but I don't think that that's technically correct. Eating is cody. I think maybe I think. Swallow my tongue. there's a lot of good band names here. By the way I noticed. Oh Yeah Well call them all out. Well I'll call out the first one right away genius Kanus Pretty good okay That is. The coyotes are members of the genus kanus. Yeah kanus includes all dogs yet. Jackals dogs wolves and dogs and so I said dogs. I know but there's so many great jobs that you've got to say twice. Well I don't want to shortchange the jackals of the world who likes jackals. Nobody likes shackles. That's right screw them right. See them once as a matter of fact. Let's go back and beep out the second time we said that name but hey one thing about this about a family candidate Which all dogs belong to It's a really old Family -ture and it's native to North America so like all those jackals you WanNa talk about them some more. That made it outside of North America. Yes they started here. They didn't come from anywhere else. Started in North America coyotes as North American as Apple Pie and granny and baseball and dogs and hawks. Since right we've done a lot of episodes at our dog related over the years and still haven't knocked out the one that I really want to do. Which is the the first dog like the first domesticated dog? That'd be a good one. They made that movie but I'm not sure if it had any truth to it whatsoever trainspotting When that stuff happens you say the first thing your head. No first thing that came into my head was never cry. Wolf. That makes too much sense. Oh I remember that movie. That was a good one. Yeah that was a good one. That was when we were kids. Right uh-huh jam. It was a Disney jam. But I think it was like a little scarier. There's something about it that made it like groundbreaking Disney. I don't remember what it was. Yeah I remember two And then that that terrible looking colored. The wild thing is out now. Why can't anybody is a real animal? You'll stuff man it's driving me crazy. Have you seen these spectrum with Ellen Degeneres on them now? Sheryl either just using CGI ELLEN. Because Ellen. If it's not I was making a joke. It's the weirdest makeup I've ever seen. The actually makes her look. Cgi But it. It looks so much like that. It seems likelier to me. That's it's a CGI ellen. And I don't understand why surely not prove me wrong world while I'm thinking now if I'm Ellen and they say hey we wanNA chewed a bunch of spots with you will pay five million dollars or we'll pay you three and a half million for your image likeness all right. You could stay at home with what I would stay at home. I would travel. You sure. That's true a million bucks. Yeah it's a Lotta dough. How travel plus also I mean like her spots in these spectrum. Commercials are so small and limited that it couldn't possibly take more than half of a day per spot. Yeah and they and when you're a big star like that you can dictate it you like sure. I'll do it. You've got me for two hours right. You have to pay for the teleportation that's right you know but it's so yes. They called wild thing to stop. Stop everybody DOPP. Yeah of course maybe Harrison Ford was so stoned he didn't he wasn't a real dog. God bless them. All Right. So back to coyotes There are they are. The scientific name is Kenneth La- Trans Barking Dog. Sure boy they make a lot of noise. We'll get to that. They're nineteen subspecies Generally has to do with their range but sometimes it can be bigger or smaller different kind of coats and they one thing we will learn throughout this whole thing is we need a t shirt that says this is Dang it to the coyote cannot be stopped. No boy do they persevere. There's probably no greater survivor. Maybe currently alive on Earth. That's a mammal at least then a coyote. Yeah I mean we will see there have been efforts over the years to extinct them on purpose like a coyote Holocaust. Yeah and the. And the coyote just trots away with the signature bounce and gives the finger and his excellent luck. Yeah and his actually expanded their range. Yep in swollen and population yeah despite an effort to try to drive them purposely to extinction. Yeah a well-funded really yeah at different times to yeah. It's pretty amazing. Yeah it really is. I mean I I feel very bad for diabetes. I do too One reason I wanted to do this. One is because there's coyotes in in Atlanta there's every major city in America almost. Yep and there's coyotes around You Museum my neighborhood. Yeah and that means that Moas neighborhood too and so you me went off on this like. She found out about that and started learning everything she could about. Coyotes is like we need a new fence. We gotta get a coyote which she now has. And the spiky things yeah. She looks adorable and they work for hawks and things right. Yeah I think they're one in the same Predator vest. Sure but I think it's called the like the brand name as a coyote vest. I would think I think Like we know a lot about coyotes because they're in our neighborhood and like the more we learn about it the more it's like I hate them in in that they they would take Momo if they had a chance and but I also do feel bad for them too because they are Just trying to make their own way and live there. You know there's been a coyote right exactly. I mean emily and I saw coyotes in our neighborhood in. La Eagle Rock on walks and we We seen them in Atlanta. We saw one a few months ago at night. That looks very sick and was alone and But we will dispel myths. Not EVERY COYOTE. You see alone as rabid not every coyote see during the day is rabid And we'll get more into this but if it weren't for people coyotes would be out all the time during the day right. Yeah they're not nocturnal by nature. No they're not they're diurnal and the naughty by nature well they may be the ones that that that live closest to humans in urban areas or suburban areas of actually adapted their behavior and become a. I don't know what you call it. I guess they are nocturnal. But they're most active at dawn and dusk right but they're definitely not dire nowhere. They're active during the day and sleep at night. They normally are. They've actually altered. Their behavior is just one of the many coyotes or like fine. It's fine Gerald Change will change to stay alive. That's right I think another Urban Coyote was another band name. I thought was good and actually look that up. And of course there's an urban county jail is there Speaking of urban coyotes they actually caught one in Metro Atlanta. Recently I really very very all black. Coyote named carmine. Wow and they trapped the big Ragu interesting but I mention that Trot. That's how you like. If you're out walking at night or walk in your dogs you see what you think is a Dog. And it's got this. There's this little signature Bouncy Trot. Oh that's no dog. That's the Coyote. And that's a county all right so back to coyotes in general They are wolf like but they have narrowed more narrow snouts They're not quite as muscular Ed grabbing ask you helped put this together. He wanted to point out that they're bigger than Fox's which I thought was funny. It seemed obvious to me that they're bigger than Fox's but maybe not everyone knows that. Well the first Coyote that was spotted by Anglo American. Which was the allusion Clark? Expedition they they thought it was a Fox from afar and then when they shot one and got up closer like oh it's kind of wolf they don't look like Fox's at all to me no but I guess it was like staying far enough away. This couldn't tell who knows they were people. Were much dumber back. Then they they were all smoking opium on that I also like would like to acknowledge a stuff. You should know I okay. We had a mid show producer change. Jerry started out the show about eight nine minutes ago. She said to heck with this. She's had it Jerry. Jerry had to go do a call into Josh Josh. T justice stepped in welcome. Josh never happened before. Now thanks for doing. I wonder WHO's going to finish up the show. I don't know our little pecking bird. Perhaps okay yeah I didn't get the reference is dipping bird. The bird So coyotes bigger than a fox smaller than relevant sure Their nose to tail body link Usually about two to five feet. Yeah they basically look like somebody took a shrink ray on a wolf in just dropped by like thirty percent. Yeah twenty to fifty pounds there for Brown Tan Gray Kinda modeled And you know that's a coyote. Yeah they eat mammals mostly but we'll also there are omnivores elite berries if there's a lot of berries. Oh Yeah Billy. They love fruit. They love figs. Apparently but ninety percent died mammal supposedly. Here's the thing. If you're just kind of like coyotes cool whatever they're related to dogs and their you know all over the place I wanted to just first of all listen up so things start like researching coyotes you will be astounding in amazed at every. Turn coyotes like fruit so do coyotes? Do they climb trees in balance on branches so that they can get all the fruit that they want? Look it up. Yeah look pictures of coyotes. Climbing trees they take small animals like dogs out of the backyard. So coyotes can jump over fences six feet or under and squeezed through slats of Pickett's three inches or wider. They also dig under if they need to the what else. All sorts of crazy stuff a coyote will say. Hey Lizard compare your lunch. Yeah.
