Bruins reclaim home-ice edge, top Panthers 4-2 in Game 3
"The bruins built a four zero lead and took a two one series lead by downing the Panthers four two. Taylor hall put Boston ahead for good just two 26 into the game. It was good to get off to a nice start as an individual and as a team I thought we were we were dialed in right from the start of the game. He also set up Nick foligno's goal to put the bees up by four with 8 15 left in between Charlie Coyle and David pastrnak let the lamp it's the bruins bounced back from their game too lost. Linus omark stopped 28 shots and blanked the cats until Gustav forsling and Sam Reinhart scored 78 seconds apart. With forsling ending the shutout with 5 19 left, game four is Sunday in Florida. "Hat trick by David passion and I get able to bruins to set the record for most wins by a team during the National Hockey League regular season in a 5 three win over the flyers. That's the next quarter pair of second period goals that gave Boston a three one lead. Bruins get 57th win, outlasting Canes in SO
"The bruins are 5 away from tying the NHL single season record for wins following a four three shootout decision over the hurricanes. David pasternak notched his 50th and 51st goals of the season. It's definitely special. It's been a long way and you know it was obviously big thanks to all my teammates and my family. Charlie Coyle and Jake de bruss provided the shootout goals in Boston's 57th victory and 7th in a row. Jacob lauko also tallied and Jeremy swimming made 34 saves for the NHL's top team. Jack drury, Brady Shea and Sebastian aho scored for Carolina, which is three points ahead of the Devils for the metropolitan division lead. I'm Dave ferry.

Bertuzzi sets up goal in Bruins' 4-2 win over Rangers
"The Boston Bruins scored once in the first, added a shorthanded goal in the second, and added two more in the third for a four two win over the New York rangers. Charlie Coyle started the scoring for Boston in the first, and then assisted on the bruins second goal. Everyone's calm, everyone knows what the task is and if things aren't working, we just, you play a simple style and play the right way and usually that works out for us. So I think it's just not always being perfect. Only you can be perfect, but just no one. What it takes is that given time and we've been doing that. Pavel Zacha scores twice as Bruins beat Maple Leafs 5-2
"The bruins stretched their lead in the Atlantic division by dumping the second place Maple Leafs 5 two. The bruins entered a season high three game losing streak and moved 13 points ahead of Toronto. Bruins coach Jim Montgomery wasn't too worried about their skid. I don't think relief would be the right words. It was about us getting back to our standard and our team identity. It was a three two game until Pavel zacha scored twice in a three ten span of the third period. Charlie Coyle set up second period goals by Derek forbert and Brandon Carlo. AJ grier made it three one early in the third. Mitch marner and Callie yarn croc scored for the leafs. I'm Dave ferry.

"It's one of these lines that when you really think about it, could open up a lot of doors and opportunities in the top 6, right? If you can put Smith with coil and they produce and you find a spot for Frederick and his kind of tough game mixed with actually playing real hockey. You might have something here. Yeah, absolutely. I think it's a positive domino effect if you're able to keep that line together. And it seems like barring any other late lineup changes. You've probably going to see that line again on Thursday against the islanders because bergeron was with Paul and pasta on that top line today and they pretty much the whole line is kind of more or less been broken up. He's kind of back more in the third line role and it's the Frederick Coyle Smith line that's kind of still the de facto second line there. So once you get back to full strength, yeah, as you said, not only is it, I think one of the more encouraging things you've seen so far in that line is it's seems like Coyle's been a lot more assertive, especially in the offensive zone he's not deferring as much. I mean, he gets that goal off of just driving towards the net. Rebound is there and he's able to knock it past his steric, which is no easy task as we've seen from him all year. But then yeah, if it also not only gets coil more engaged, which is a key thing this team needs to do to kind of get that middle 6 group going. If you're able to get Smith going, which seems like that guy's been snake bit about ten games now that you hope that eventually he gets into one of these four goals in 5 games kind of run here that is able to get him going a little bit. And again, as you said, Frederick, Frederick, who we know he can be a regular fourth line guy, but if this kind of unlocks a little more offensive game out of him, have him play kind of more straight line minutes of just being more of a powerful than just a four checking presence. I mean, that gets them going because again, not like the bruins need them to be a 30 goal scorer and he won't be, but if it's a situation where he becomes just a solid middle 6 guy that it contributes to your team, you'll take it. So if that ends up being your third line, you can roll with a group that is physical can be a matchup problem against heavier teams and the playoffs..

"We look at advanced stats so much and we're so ingrained in the natural stat tricks and such that we almost miss or forget. Like the simple staff sometimes. I didn't realize, as you said, I didn't realize Taylor hall was second on the team. The other thing he has two goals in 7 games. That's what I just kind of always go back to. You're right though, Coyle is at a very, before the season you had said, if someone came and said, hey, you're gonna guess how many points coil has in the first 7 games. But let me tell you the scenario. He's on. He's on the second line in the center for a bit, then Craig Smith gets heard. He's pushed to the wing. They all cheese. It's been a really tough start. Hopefully he kind of defines this game. Yeah. Over the next ten games. But as you said, he's been great. He's been, you know, everything you've really wanted out of that position. I mean, you can't be mad with what you got. So as you said, I mean, hopefully for him, he continues on this route of just kind of producing and as we've said all year, you don't need a ton. You don't need 60 points. You just need them to get 45 to 55 points, and you're chillin. And Taylor hall to score and produce and you need Craig Smith. If you can get 25 goals out of Craig Smith, I mean, he's been hurt. So obviously him kind of getting healthy again and getting back into rhythm will help. But yeah, I mean, can't be mad at what you got from Coyle, thus far. But one guy who did I say this has not. It's only video and audio. So again, keep this for record. You know, you can't keep this for the record. Patrice bergeron zero goals in 7 games. Now goals are not everything. Goals are not everything this is not like when Charlie mcavoy has was a 2019 20 this feels like 20 years ago. I think it was 2019 20. It was, because I remember him scoring an OT goal. I think it's the black hole. Yeah. Yeah. And like February. Yes, it was it feels like a million years ago because of COVID, but in 2019 20 mcavoy had no goals through must have been what 60 games or something. There was a long streak. People said, oh, you know, he's bad because of this. Well, no, not necessarily. He's a defenseman, so it's different. But Berkshire does have zero goals for 7 games, only three points. Not indicative of everything. He's had some chances, but definitely need a little more on a burger on. Yeah, I think Bruce casting more or less echoed that where I don't think they're hitting the panic button. You know, it's not like, oh, his games, you know, lost a step or two. I think it's a byproduct of many things. I think Cassidy mentioned that the underlying numbers look good. They should generating a lot of chances. So some of its puck walk. I think Casa said they've hit the post one than any other team in the NHL. I mean, Martian was has that?.

But I got it myself on that one. But I am trying to see what it comes of a mustache. I'm gonna give it a shot. Let's movember. It's an important cause. I'm gonna give it a shot. It's gonna look probably horrendous. Remember Sidney Crosby back in like the late 2000s. Play off my sister's awful. If it gets to that point, I think we're gonna have to take it off, just gonna have to do it. But I'm gonna try to be in there a little bit, but. Yeah. I can't let it get too far. I'm gonna give it my all. Here's a bet that I don't know if it's really safe. But it's come to fruition. Charlie Coyle's been good. Charlie Coyle is currently tied for I believe third on the team in points with 5. Yes, or tied for second, actually. With Taylor hall and David poster, I shouldn't expect hall to be second. But Tod for a second, in 5 points, three goals two assists. He's been good. You've got a lot out of him. He's looked good on the second line. Shout out to me, by the way, I picked him up in fantasy. I picked him up. I drafted him. It was like last round pick in fantasy hockey, which I actually I'm enjoying this year 'cause I can watch all the games on ESPN+, not a sponsor. But I just forgot he's been good. So I've seen firsthand how good you can be. But it's not just points. It's kind of this whole package deal because this knee is fixed. It's crazy what happens when a guy plays these about injured. What have you seen past just the goal scoring? Yeah, I think for him, the most promising thing, he's kind of getting back to his strength and we've talked about it before that last year. It wasn't just the fact that Coyle wasn't producing. He just kind of didn't have that same trademark kind of coil game where even though he wasn't maybe racking up points, he was still holding onto the puck extending ozone possessions really kind of bullying past opposing skaters. You don't see that much last year. You're seeing it a bit more, and I think maybe the most encouraging thing is, you know, he's never going to be a guy that I think is going to really pep of the net or really get a lot of shots on goal, but he does seem to be a lot more comfortable in the ozone in terms of taking kind of those that initiative and taking those shots now granted, I think maybe it was helped out a bit by the fact that he moved over to wing wearing Craigslist was out, which you always kind of get concerned. I mean, I think maybe the most encouraging thing for coil in terms of producing points early is that it hasn't really been like an easy kind of just jumping into this second line roll, right? Like Smith is hurt, so then he's pushed to the wing. It's not like Taylor hall has really been on fire to start the year. So it wasn't like, you know, he was just put into the spot and he had two guys that were firing on all cylinders. He's just racking up secondary assists to what have you..

"Hall on your left. And you've Alfred Charlie Coyle, who looks great at the bruins game, by the way. It's not the pros game. The Red Sox game, by the way. It looks great. The bruins game, huh, Charlie Coyle. Him and mcavoy being there, along with you against the Yankees on Tuesday night now. Together. Yes, all blending together at this point. I also liked how when they were on camera at the Red Sox, I think you could see coil kind of mouth to his girlfriend like we're on camera right now. Yeah, this is what we're on camera. Don't do anything to do, but because that camera will be there for a while. So but anyways, yeah, back to hockey. But Charlie quill, I thought looked great. And I think this is, again, we've both said this. If you can just get 40 to 50 points out of him this year, if he could just be productive, if he can just kind of usher along or kind of go along with Taylor Allen and Craig Smith, that line could work together really well. And also we saw it on Taylor hall's goal. On Wednesday night where Craig Smith takes his normal Craig Smith shot from the right boards and they successfully break it out and haul drives the net hard. I'm wondering for you, how can a guy like Taylor home get the most out of Charlie Coyle and Craig Smith? Yeah, I think as you said on that goal was a great example of just how having hauling that line adds a quick strike element where, you know, with his speed and his ability to move in transition, kind of makes a goal happen out of nothing, right? Seem like almost like a harmless play. Like, wasn't even like a goal that Omar gave, I guess, so you had that kick save in a one way out to the slot. That was a kind of a loose puck that literally hauled his bead van and check two, like right there right out of the doorstep. So in terms of that quick strike ability haul adds to that. But I think with coil, especially.

Yes not the bender in the head like that's a that's a bender because you're like that's difficult to conceptualize because we don't know the end from the beginning but the word of god tells us that he knows the end from the beginning god exists outside of the dimensionality of time. His grace completely covers us and we as followers of jesus as redeemed ones are completely covered by that grace. I would say man who somebody said that. "Because i got people coming in and they leave unhappy. I'm so my pool of pages represents not only the mass that allows me to unlock head terms unlock topic performance but it also represents the infrastructure that can drive plans based on like surgical striking and one of those ways is intent mismatch. The other one is if i'm ranking for head terms and not ranking for lower competition variance. Because i'm not satisfied. That tells me a lot about me right. It could tell me. I don't have anything in the middle of the fun is working with the large publisher of ever alert. Those i was working with a large publisher who just realized that they had no traffic coming from the middle. And i'm like yeah. You don't have any that does that. And they're like. Yeah but can. I just like rank work because like i owned the main topic and like no. You've never written content. That tells the story that you know comparison. You're not a comparison shopping engine. You have never ridden concept for someone in the middle of the foul. You've only ridden early. Stage awareness is the gosh darn name of the site right and so if you think you can just go right in a versus b. Arbel because you own the head and you own google stated attempt which adds to wearing your sorely mistaken. You've got to build sometimes even when you own the head. You don't own details so you need the jaw. You need the teeth. And you need to understand where you have the wins because if you just go out and try to knock out long tail they call it the old techniques two thousand five coins long tailing right. You just go right belong tail and hope that unlocks your invitation to the party so that you can write for the pillar or the middle of the head. It doesn't work anymore. it doesn't work. You can go do that and get lucky. 'cause as low competition but you really need to be thinking about the entire user journey. I just saw it happen with the june july up. Is i've done some extensive multi million site analyses and one major thing is the way to google allows intense to be evaluated and the biggest finding that i had was sites that dropped in authority on their topics can no longer ranch or non. The nose intent so give me an example of that yet short so an example of that would be which is used crm. 'cause i don't wanna give exact examples. It's a hot topic for us today for us today. let's say. I was ranking for customer relationship management before and i was also reading for best customer relation management software also ranking for customer relationship management. Free and i was making for best. Crm tools and compare crm tools. And they were all. I was very high authority for that top clearly. A my site right but my page that was performing. Maybe i was told i should only have one h right and i just got into my authority. Goes down on this concept. This concept site section pair. My page never really followed through with comparing software. It was a what is type article right. it never really got into comparing so previously. I had so much authority. And i could get away with non on the nose satisfaction for users but now my authority drops now. I don't get away with being able to rank with a what is page on a comparison query. The only people that can get away with that are the ultra high thorn because they actually cover. They're getting more credit credibility. So when i see a third one signal of authority drop or game is that you're able to rank for off not on the nose intense when you're lower thirty you've got to be right on the nose specifically and then if you're even lower you can't even get invited to the party. I'm in this. Those are the ways that i think about this. The problem becomes is really complex to not only think about ranking for individual keywords which hopefully have a lot of but also topics and then thinking about domain authority in your head terms. The Difference Between Keywords and Topics With MarketMuse Co-Founder Jeff Coyle
"Talk to me a little bit about the the difference between keywords topics and wire breath depth important in the both of those or so. A topic is more like a concept so it can be an entity. It's a group of concepts and a keyword will typically live inside that pool of topics right so good way to think about a somewhat higher. But i like to connect key words to intent as well in addition to talking about topics keywords so semantic relatedness typically relates to the saying if you are going to cover this one topic. It's highly likely or these are other related topics to that core topic and keywords can live at it within those like. I always joke around. It's like there's keywords that a live within a topic it's the square rectangle thing. There's sometimes you don't know the difference between a keyword as how great Approach all of those things similarly to say. I want to cover this really well. I want to achieve goals for the user. That i'm gonna write against and if i'm going to build on a topic that is general right. I one hundred. Are there different meanings for this specific topic. How fractured is the specific topic for intense. So if people are searching for this specific topic are they at different stages of the funnel that's intent fracture but they also could be meaning descended. Uation i mean right. So if it's an acronym if somebody's typing in crm a might be talking about customer like you should management. That might be talking about you. Know some other for that thing in your case. When you're talking about ben shapiro versus benjamin shapiro. We're talking about two person entities. That have different needs right so it's a little bit different there but the topics that you cover you wanna be covering them so that it tells the story that you actually know what you're talking about so you have all the intense covers. You have all those keyword variants covered. But you're telling that story the same way

This is something that i vote. isn't that mark. Each vote was designed. It's i want confidence among content confidence. I want to know that if i publish a great article on this topic will it perform. Can i predict the performance. Or will i know that. Hey i not only need this one page. But i need to build an entire cluster on this topic in order to move the needle for my teed that lack of confidence plagues content because then they go out if big is just about looking at their competitors and writing. A better article is not just about that. You do need to do that but you also have to have expectations set of where you currently stand. Do you need coverage of these fifteen other intents within this topic or these other stages of funnel in order to make that that monster that tiller aged that our page star to grow we'd find a so many people think that they can just go along great peace and it's going to work on gonna just not reality. Why my It's funny i used. it's not lace. Search metrics is content explorer which probably a little competitive with market mused. But it's a service that helps you understand how your content should rank and for my other podcast mar tech podcast when people are looking for the term martic. The most commonly searched for query is. What is martin so we wrote the what is mar tech page with a ninety nine percent rating on this content experience tool and we're ranking in the thirties and a big part of that is we're competing against martic today and you know brands that have a larger and a better reputation and so you know it brings me to this concept of breath and depth right often. Seo's thank all. I need is depth. All i need is one great piece of content and that i will rank in reality. You need great content for the topic that you wanna cover but you also need breath and other topics that you could build your domain reputation and that's what we're going to talk about as we continue this conversation tomorrow. Here's the first part of my conversation with jeff. Coyle co founder and chief strategy officer at market muse. Jeff welcome to the voices of search podcast. Thanks dan great beards excited to have you as my guest excited to talk a little. Seo strategy you know. You're a man of many talents You've been doing some lead generation previously in your career at an obviously a talented seo and content strategist gives a little background on. You know your work and what you're doing market news. Yes you're so as you mentioned we're artificial intelligence platform that really sets the standard for content. Quality really focused on identifying what we should be creating. What we should be updating. Where do we have strengths and weaknesses gaps and opportunities where we have authority more. Do we need to grow. And but then going all the way down to execution. No building comprehensive content briggs creating kind of point solutions for specific. Workflows that as. Seo's you do all the time whether it's competitive analysis comparison of search engine results topic modeling. Whatever but my background now doing this for steroids. It might sound about twenty two ish years. I went said the georgia tech computer science and while it was still there started with my first startup knowledge storm where we were doing content marketing in trying to get beat that companies to know that they should have content on the web so we are actually convincing them to digitize brochures white papers and get them online so that we could generate leads with those on. I did that need for twenty seven. We were fired by major tech publisher. Where i worked in managed in house but throughout that time as a product manager ran all the traffic through that large website network in really built my skills in all ranges that kind of connect to what it means to be a search optimization professional today but most notably the tail end of that working with editorial and content teams and realizing just how manual and painful those processes were in. How a lot of. It was very subjective and i had manual processes took thirty forty hours of time still would get subjectively rejected by editorials enes. And that's when i met my co founder and he has the first person to really speed up and use artificial intelligence automate one process or topic modeling. That says basically. If i'm an expert and i'm covering a topic comprehensively. How would i do that with one page. However i do that on my site within context of my site or my network. If i'm a publishing publishing gets many sides and from that we've built all the solutions that we now manifest as mark. Abe's so you've been working in. Seo and content marketing in some capacity since the white text on a white background days. Oh yes ninety nine my first audit. I would say what. I'm going to probably album. Albert was ninety nine for sure. I you gotta find the text and then you have to figure out whether it's relevant and how the search engines are going to interpret the good old days a little easier to do content marketing and content strategy back. Then because it was about digitizing what you'd already produced now in a much more competitive landscape and you mentioned that you had some processes that were very manual taking thirty forty hours and and we're starting to see you know the bots and the machines take over some of those processes talk to me a little bit about the strategy of content marketing as you see it in a. What's the general process. You follow to figure out what a site should be. Writing what what assets a site has an where they're content gaps. Are i think that one thing. I commonly will ask gene is. How frequently are you performing what you see as being content inventory or a content audit. I think the biggest challenge the medium to large sized teams have is there not frequently assessing the tuning their own mirrors as to what they term it has when they're doing it often kind of doing a sort descend by traffic or they're doing sort descend by. What gets you the most lease. They're not thinking politically as to what it means to be about a concept and are they covering that topic comprehensively across their entire site so they don't know the collection of content as contributing to for example their authority on some topics. It really often looking at them as one page to value connections and. That's where one thing that. I talked teams. That's commonly something that's a problem with often leads to his team's not getting along just to be blind. The folks in charge of traffic as their kpi or released age awareness content aren't jiving with demand. Gen folks there. Nobody's jogging with the editorial team in really there are not connected to the thirteen mile so i like to talk to about funke's about that process and new market news. We automated in online content inventory audit. That's always available so you can always see. Higher pages are doing how they're performing all the topics that the pages connect to do you answer the users coming to your page that are searching for x. Does your page follow through and satisfy the intent that was expected or is it a mismatch so we cover all these things. And it's really getting. Your question connects to. How do you plan. How do you prioritize on. I think the will we often will see as the teams that are just getting started have learned from who whatever.

"All sitting here like mutes thank you. It's true right i again. We are called as husbands and wives to do good for one another to do good to one another to care for one another how many of you realize it is your job as a husband or a wife to blast the other. It's your job when you wake up in the day to think of how to bless your husband had a blast your wife and if you don't do that and you wonder why your marriage is difficult. Who's not blessing who again. We are called to blast one. Another one of the great kohl's is the excellent wife makes it her business. The bless her husband is not as a wife canopy a wife versus thirteen when he goes on and gives a description of how this amazing woman lives. And it says this. She looks for a woolen for flax and works with their hands in delight. She's like the merchant ship. She brings food from afar now. This is gets intimidating right. It's like she does what she she works all this stuff and she build stuff and she buys and sells stuff and a lot of the ladies are like hang on a minute. This is getting to be really tall. Order understand this is cultural to write. Most of y'all don't need to be making the clothes for the hustled anymore. Because walmart's cottam cheap cheaper than you can make them but there's a point being made again thirteen to fourteen is telling is that excellent. Excellent y clothes feeds her family. Going to great lengths to the merchant ships to bring home the best food to look after the so. You might not have to make clothing for your family anymore. Should be amen. From the ladies and thank god for that but you still gotta feed them. They gotta eat every day. Well but you gotta feed your family right like how. how many. How many of us do the head shake every day. What are we going to make for dinner. I swear this was the biggest. My mother on the daily it really was. This is why in my household growing up. We had irish. Do on saturday and wednesday and i was happy every time we had it i loved it was great but i realize now we had irish or wednesday and saturday because that was two days to think of something else and then monday was. Spuds beans and sausages and tuesday was beefing and it was just went on like that but she looked after since she fattest and she made it. Her business and my mum was amazing. She was amazing. She loved cared for us and it was such stress and it was such a blessing to us. It was amazing. It was such a huge thing and it doesn't seem like it's much like it doesn't want just gonna feed the kids course you've got to feed the kids. Not everybody needs the kids. Not everybody looks after the kids. Not everybody looks after their husband. It's not that common. I fifteen goes on.

"That this mother gives to her son of an excellent wife suggestion for you folks. It wouldn't be a bad idea to give saw description of an excellent life because we're much more likely to give our daughters the description of the men to avoid notice that ostra show of hands men. How many of you have had your parents sit you down and tell you what to look for in a woman and what to avoid and girls when you were growing up. How many have you had mom and dad talked to you but what to look for in a man and what to avoid come on show mahan. Don't be don't we have hand this. Show me a ahead. So that was no men and some women. We are far more likely to talk to our daughters what to look for in a woman. And what's avoid that. We talked our sons. And here's the thing. There are definitely good men and badminton crazy men and dangerous men and we should be careful who let her daughters connect with but guess what there are good women bad women and crazy women and dangerous women and your son's going to take up one of them as well we need to be talking to our sons and our daughters about what they should look to in the future because we need to care for the first versus this first ten. Is this an excellent wife. Who can find for her worth is far more than gills and that excellent wife who can find for her worth far more than jewels first thing to take from that and for realizes saying who can find. They're hard to find a not just today. It's not just today. It's really hard to find an excellent wife. It's always been the case that good moral god-fearing ungodly representing women have not been in great abundance in the same way. The the opposing men in great abundance. And that's why is exceedingly rare and that makes of incredible value.

We can sit here and share stories all all evening about the things that we ignored until they became so big that you couldn't miss them anymore. Men are bad for this with their doctors by the way notice. F- self guys something significant is going on. Ask your doctor but it before it smells funny versus twenty three twenty eight or twenty three says this. He rebukes man. We'll afterward find more favor than he flatters with the tongue how many of you realize that rebuke is something that has value. Flattery doesn't what does that mean it. Means that rebuke is an attempt to bring you you an observation that will make you better function in the world. That will bring you closer to what. The scriptural standard is when somebody challenges. You do better in whatever it is regardless of what it is i think about it in the in the in the perspective russ just got his red red seal this year. He's a. "Well if you ever needed a slap ever someone love you enough to give you the slap you need not a lot a man's but i guess he heads nodding seriously if you ever needed someone to crack upside the head and somebody loves you enough to actually do it figuratively. Maybe even realistically if you're a dude you need someone to call you on the mass remaking. You couldn't couldn't stop yourself. You couldn't stop walking into the same stupid senate again and again and then somebody who loved you enough challenge in buffet upside the head and you took a wound from that you take a wound when somebody who you love challenges you and calls you on your your foolishness or you're saying that hurts because you wanna look you want to think that they see the best than they do. That's why they call you to the best. But you want to think that i don't wanna seem less than their eyes or whatever else would hurts when a friend challenge to do better and calls you on your stuff but those things are far more to be trusted than the pleasant words of someone who claims to be close folks. We as the church should not should not should not be afraid of accountability. We as his people should not be afraid of the healthy words that are gonna reveal love in challenge in our lives and to be honest. Probably mostly again this. Otherwise you wouldn't be in my church your pastor. That's just part of the deal. I know there's a few that are like faster brother colin. Just what do you tell me it to me. I know you're going to give it to me anyway. That's right because you wouldn't be calling me if he didn't want the cool water of the clear reason that i'm going to throw out that way and that's good like we have to have the freedom between each other to share with each other. The truth is we see it the challenge each other with the truth that we have a good vs eight to fourteen. Starting at verse tenants. That says this do not forsake your friend or your father's fan. Do not go to your brother's husband the day your calamity better a neighbor. Who's near new brother. Who's far away and this is something that we're familiar with. Even as a cultural norm the idea the tested and true friends are better than a history of blood with someone else. You see what it's saying is basically this is that blood is where you start but real bonds are built. Long-term family is family and it never stops being family but their relationships in the brotherhood and the family that we built here better as the people who are closed. Let me tell you my family physically thousands of miles away my family's here. My brothers and sisters are thousands thousand miles away. And there's there's oceans between thousands thousand miles away and drive it's canada. We could do that right thousand miles that way. They're not in bc. but i have family in new lack. Why because i have tested true brother's i've tested and true sisters. I know that there are many many people who are my family that. If i call them i had need if i was struggling and i had meet if i needed support for whatever else. Barry's going through. I call barry. He'll be there. I know it. That's why when. I hug a hug that brother and i love and i tell him..

"Isn't that the truth comes out of actually about who you are and i hear stories about this not infrequently about families where the kids were dragged to church and all the way to church. Mom and dad were horrible. He's screaming at the kids and behaving like lunatics. Then they went to church and behaved like nice people in the end up with kids. Who grew up thinking christians terrible. Why because you were terrible because their parents were terrible and they weren't what they were listening or they want living with the should have been living because the truth will come out but there's something occurring in that. There's the temptation for us to dwell on our anger about how we know people to really be. There's a temptation for us to be to be bitter about the world. Thinks about that person. And i really like and you may not want to go after them and deal with them necessarily yourself. You may not want to take vengeance. Which god is not ours anymore but maybe you hold onto the bitterness that warps you in that hurts you again. The truth will come out of the scripture tells us that god the righteous judge will deal with people will deal with these people in situations and so trust him let go of the bitterness in the range that we hold and lastly verse twenty seven this digs a pit will fall into it and he rules stone. It will come back on him. It's basically saying this. The god is sovereign and the ruin and tender for others will come back upon the person who's spoken. It's an interesting idea. Because we don't tend to think about this in terms of curses and blessings but james three nine to twelve talks. Isn't it says this it says with with we've blast talking about the tongue. We've last our lord and father and with it we curse men who've been made in the likeness of god for from the same mouth kumble laughing and cursing my brethren. These things ought not to be this way does a fountain sand out of from the same opening both fresh and bitter water and can a fig tree my brethren produce are vying produce figs nor can salt water produce fresh closing thoughts. We are to be a source of fresh water. We are to be a source of light. Folks is followers of god. If you are a christ follower of someone who believes in jesus for your salvation who seeks to follow him to know him. If you believe you call yourself a know yourself to be a christian a follower of christ your life should be a producer of that freshwater of that light so that others will see. I don't get me wrong. Some people will curse you for producing that light. Some people will hate that you produce that light. And that's okay. But that light is what's going to speak of the god that you reflect and represent that truth that wisdom and the speaking in the preaching of the gospel that we live. We'll have enormous impact in the world. Brothers and sisters..

"There will be times to step in learning and have discretion will teach this when that is again often more often than not when you see a fight in the street. You're not just seeing one of us. Abusive person you often see to and like my dad. You might not end a perforated because the guy is gonna stop you. We could go round against always thought. When i'm that's that's that's not uncommon. I twenty tells us this for lack of would the fired more. There is no whisper contention quiets down twenty. Tell us not to be a gossiper back biter. Don't be someone who involve yourself. You enjoys the moment with morsel of gossip and this is this is one of those things common to all of us. But again we deal in different realms. So if you're if you're someone who's who's fond of the gossip and all the news and all the words be conscious danger in that and there's damage that is done in that that we don't necessarily see and there's a lot to be said again. Think back to the previous statement. Say nothing till you hear more one of the best ways to cause a problem to go away when it comes to just gossip the refused to involve yourself in it to refuse to take any part in it because you know that nothing fruitful will come from it and lassi verse twenty one in that section again. Reminding us that we shouldn't have contentious people around verse. Twenty one says like charcoal too hot embers and would to fire so it was a contentious man to kindle. Strife reminded again folks. Don't have a contentious person around in your circle. Don't have them because we remember them. From our teens and twenties there was always that one guy or that one gal who would have one or two drinks and then their fight would start. Because you're with them you get drawn into this trouble and now maybe it's the office situation and we're we're grownups and we're adults..

"Choose moderation the way that we live but choose to keep him at the head of all things not the things that we look to versus. Twenty four and twenty five. Go on and say this. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice and he him who sires a weiss on. We'll be glad and let your father and your mother and be glad and that her rejoice who gave you birth. I thought about that. One understand that the context of the scripture here is that what the scriptures talking about is godly fathers in god the mother's raising godly children within the context of the kingdom of israel rights. Assuming it's assuming that your parents are these people. And so i know for many of this is not be in our story and so the way i i wanted to say it would be this. Make your real or ideal parents proud. Make the parents have because they were good and they were righteous of the parents who they should have been the ones who you imagine they could have been. If they were submitted god and following an honoring god make them proud folks. We we cannot. We cannot as adults be nothing but the product of our upbringing. Our perhaps are dysfunctional struggle. We cannot simply be that and also claim to be redeemed and saved by the blood on the cross. You cannot claim to be of the kingdom of god and also blame your history for any problem you have today. At some point we have to move through an over at around and beyond that stuff and choose to honor god and to grow. Maybe you had terrible parents maybe your father and your mother abusive or were neglect for the or whatever else but the scripture is saying that we should live in such as the make the parent that they could have been real or imagined make the parent that we should have had make them proud. Maybe you need to choose some people in the church and think of them as the parents are an older couple here. Good honest an honorable people. And think does the way i live my life honor these godly people versus twenty six to thirty two as we move to the end here for twenty six. Says this says give me your heart my son and lead. Your is the light in my ways. Twenty six tolerance to choose wisdom and to choose the wisdom father to choose god's ways and your life and do that deliberately there's constant claims upon your attention. There's some claims upon your time. There's constant claims upon your heart on your head and we as believers must continually put god at the top of our priorities. We must continually put god before our faces as we study him as we read is word. That's why it's so important to to daily. Read your bible. That's why.

"It's just an absolutely inappropriate course of action. The way that they're behaving and it's just like it's a natural order of things. There's a certain amount of behavior that is of a certain kind that invites violence. It's not to say that it always comes but the fool again because of his behavior because of his actions because of her actions invites that response. It doesn't always come. Which is by the way. And i've said this to andy before said your dino if everybody in the world whoever deserved a slap god we'd be in a better place she's like. Yeah that's probably true but really again. They don't always get the that they are necessarily inviting. Good verse seven. I haven't gone on. It says a fool's mouth is his ruined and his lips are snared soul verse. Nine says he also was lax in his work is a brother him who destroys. Yeah decided not to keep beating on the fool. There seemed to be unreasonable. I night again. he also is lack. He who is locked in his work is brother to who destroys. Shifter's making this interesting point. That leaving work half done are done badly is to destroy it. It's the destroy leaving work. Half done or done badly is to destroy it. How many of in your are high enough in conscientiousness that just your gears when you see somebody else do a bad job. It just makes you frustrated just makes you angry and i'll tell you what some of that anger is righteous anger because part of what we are called to. This is the place that we stand in this is that who do we serve. I do we serve our employer. I know who served i as followers of christ we serve god. I so if you're out there in the field and you're in the vernacular half assing it and you're making a bad job and you're not doing it right or or if you're doing the same thing around your own house. How many how. Many of us are guilty of being the equivalent of the carpenter. Who's got in his own house because he hasn't been bothered to finish it up folks leaving and half done and not doing a good job again is not recognizing who we are employed by an who honor in how we live. We serve in the kingdom. I we don't serve the world. We don't serve our wives or husbands. we don't serve. we serve. I god and then there is the responsibilities that follow that. And so could see. I can see there's probably a lot of husbands shingle on. Yeah i might need to finish up one or two things around the house. How many of your house. That was plastered to reward years ago. But there's no like there's no running along the bottom. What do they call archie. What's the word molding. How many of your living in houses where there's no molding it's like. It's been finished for awhile but again. It's not limited to us man. There's different ways that we do this but if again we iraq is that we serve god i said first hand says the name of the lord is a strong tower and the righteous run into under safe. I love that scripture that one that one reminds of in a child because we used to sing in church as a kid. My mom was part of the worship team so every now and again i'll come come across the scripture that as i read it it is sung in my head in. Louise coils voice..

Is Krejci Still a Viable Player for the Bruins?
"Krejci is still going to be David krejci this year. He's still going to have to change plan. A forty Fifty Point Pace over a full season still be good. Still dragged along, whoever whatever Wing is he's got, but you have Charlie Coyle. Who's getting paid like a top-six guy, would you expect him to make that jump up? You expect Jackson eager to really crack through and, you know, people who thought he was going to be up like The Calder or what-have-you or at the very least, be a guy that was going to flash a lot of practice that you could see him getting a full-time job. Next year, obviously that has not panned out either a guide for both coil and Sydney, so I think you look at this team and it's subject. Forecast years from now, what to expect from his team. But you look at the way they're playing right now and the piece that they have in place. It's not out of their own possibility to think that if you co-sign crazy and and Hall again and get a lot of these pieces back, you could run it back with the same group for another year or, or to even and still be a pretty viable Contender just the way they're playing off. So I think that's the only option that brings really have at this point is bringing back David krejci. Now granted

"So how many have you heard of confirmation bias. never heard that before so confirmation bias. Is that thing within the human brain that when we look at something that we expect to see a certain way more often than not. You see it that way. Have you ever seen those posts online where they say. Read this sentence and you read it and then they say Carefully and you find that some of the words are spelled wrong. Just backwards or something. That's confirmation bias because your brain doesn't always process the exact letters in their processes the shapes so even though was spelled wrong the first letter in the last letter right and you quickly skimmed over it and you read it confirmation bias as part of how we make the world work right. You see what you expect to see because it usually is so tonight and started going through worship. And i got the song four which was the. Lord is gracious and compassionate. Yes i sung a completely different song by the band. The whole way through wondering why the key seemed funny because i was looking at the cards on the sheet and not reading. The words and i finished stephen looked at me and said it was the right song. Of course it was the right song. Stephen at says they're on the note doesn't it says something else because my brain decided it was a different song. Similar sung the whole thing. This is part of how we function. It works the same way when it comes to the view that we take the world. Do you know that if you have a negative viewpoint on the world you will focus upon gleaned from the things around you the negative things. It's just it's it's a thing you become you become biased towards the negative things and we as believers are called to put on thankfulness to put on love to put on these these things that are of the goodness of god to us. And when you're thankful in the way that you lived. Do you know what you notice more. You notice the things should be thankful for. You know rather than screaming about the traffic on the way home or the person who was rude to you in the store or whatever else you say what lord thank you for the vehicle. 10 Powerful Marketing Skills You Cant Learn in College
"Welcome to another episode of Marketing School on Their Zoo and I'm Neil. Patel and today we're GONNA talk about ten powerful marketing skills that you can't learn in college them. It's it's even all right so number one. One of the most powerful marketing skills that you can't learn in college is personal branding. They're not gonNA. Teach you how to do personal branding in college, our branding and general sure they might tell you read a couple of things, but they're not going to say hey, we're gonNA teach you how to grow your instagram or grow your podcast, right? That's something that you can't. Can't learn so I would say if you're going to college right now. It's fine to start and to learn and to take licking, and you know as you might start to build your personal Brad while you're in college, and when you're out of college, already have something going. Yeah, some traction and you start to really scale up number two trends and marketing, if you. You WanNa do really well. You need a ride. The waves of you know all the popular trend that are coming out and that are happening while in college. They teach you. What's happened in the past? You need to really focus on what's going to happen in the future. Because if you don't ride these trends, you're markings, not going to do as well cool number three. Three for the most part they don't teach you how to become a good speaker. They don't in in college as a matter of fact, actually I'll only that for later I rarely spoke in front of people. They don't give you the at bats that you need the repetitions that you need to get better and there was a book. I, read called the talent code. Guy Named Daniel. Coyle I believe, but the whole idea. Is this the reason why Brazilian football players are supposedly better than a lot of the football players around the world? It's because they get a lot of repetitions to get a lot more touches on the balls because they play in more confined spaces right so same idea you have to get more repetitions were trying to get good at something and college does not give you the repetitions. You need to get better at something such as speaking for the most part. Number, four creativity a lot of times in marketing. You won't have the budget as someone else does. You won't have the time you have the resources. The Way to win is by being creative, and if you don't get creative, you will lose so in college. Teach you about processes and rules and things have worked in the past, but that doesn't necessarily teach you how to. To Flex your creative muscles. One thing that I wish they did more is when you're little kid, a lot of times I'll give you critical thinking homework. The more critical thinking that you do ideally in college I wish they give you a lot more. It will help you become more creative. 'cause. Allow you to learn how to think outside. The box is all the problems. Yeah, I mean. Here's the other thing. They don't teach you how to build relationships. Colleges teach you how to network. I remember I was pledging for a fraternity before and then working events is business networking events, and it was the most awkward things ever. There's no really agenda tied to I. Think in some cases for some schools. You know they have this lockdown, but I just kinda speaking from. From my experience, they don't teach you how to build relationships with people right to me. Networking is building relationships and so again speaking from my experience I'm thinking about all the relationships I built up from college. It's still my high school friends that went to college with me that I have the strongest relationships with so I can't say. I really learned how to network in College. How about you Neil? No I didn't either in the next one is they don't teach you how to win. Because if you think about it in college, but give you a deadline that'd be like yes, many here, and that's it and y'all. Try to get a or whatnot. Role works in the real world. In many cases. It's winner-takes-all especially when you think about things like s you either at the top or you don't. Getting third place doesn't do justice when it comes to Google. It really is you gotta try to be at the top, and that happens a lot. Some of the biggest companies out there, Google who's a second-place search engine It's actually youtube which is owned by Google third place. Maybe being right the market share differences so huge.
