Can You Imagine a Biden Presidency When the Wuhan Virus Hit the U.S.?

"Can you imagine a Biden presidency when the Wuhan virus hit this country We had a need for tests and vaccines And masks hospital beds ventilators respirators Remember all that You think Biden and his regime could have managed any of that ladies and gentlemen Well let me be the first to remind you That was extremely complicated business Very very complicated With something modern America had never seen before Older America yes The Spanish fluence so forth But this was different in terms of modern America We had an entrenched bureaucracy that lied to us president Trump had effectively beat them over the head But vaccines and tests and masks at record pace hospital beds ventilators respirators more than we ever needed Under Donald Trump and his presidency We've never seen anything like it It was essentially a Manhattan Project To defeat what China had unleashed The rec casualties as the were casually is all over the world But Donald Trump had to fight this battle in spite of the bureaucracy at the CDC at the FDA the NIH Fauci and other egomaniacs going their own way cowboys if you will

Coach Chan Gailey on the Impact Dan Reeves Had on His Life

"You and I have mentioned an individual and he passed away recently a couple months ago. Dear friend of yours, someone that I looked up to because he coached the falcons and in Washington for his nails Dan Reeves. Dan had a large impact on your coaching career as well. I want to just start a little bit because I think mentors and Friends matter in this world. I think we don't talk about it enough. Talk about how Dan Reeves impacted you and football. Well, we talk about him being a mentor Doug. But probably people don't know we're from the same hometown. So he coached us in little league. He was, he was the guy that came back from college and went out and coached us summer baseball and stuff like that. I mean, the town of Americas would shut down when the cowboys would play when I was in high school. So that's the kind of guy Dan was to me growing up. And then he was kind enough to give me my first job in the NFL. And at the Denver Broncos, I went in coaching the special teams. I didn't know anything about special teams. But he trusted me. And I learned right then and there, that trust is a huge thing in the NFL. You need to have people that you trust on your staff. And I learned so much from him about organization about how to implement offense, defense, how to change thought processes of teams, how to organize practice. Things like that that were so foreign to me, not having played in the NFL. It was, it was an unbelievable experience, and he was a great Christian man. So I got to be around a great Christian man who was a great coach and learned from me and my first NFL job. And it was such a

Josh Freed: Florida Feels Like Another Planet Compared With Quebec

"To this. He says, either confession to make, I recently fled Quebec for a week, a refuge from our two curfew and confinement rules. A friend told me about a condo in Florida. My wife and I made a last second decision to briefly escape and work remotely. But the second we landed in Florida, it felt like we'd arrived on another planet. While Quebec is in full confinement mode, Florida is cowboy land, where you barely know COVID's happening. Despite much higher new case and hospitalization rates than candidates. It's lunacy by Canadian standards, but in eye opening experience for starters, everyone's out and about filling bars, restaurants, movies, gems, sports arenas, stores and supermarkets don't require masks. Some cashiers and customers wear them, but not all. Restaurants are fully open. Waiters can choose whether to wear masks, at least half don't. You never friendly America, some customers even shake hands with their waiters before leaving. As you have to say, thanks, I'll have some germs for dessert. It's easy to spot Canadians at restaurants in Florida. We're the ones properly masked and nervously shitting on the terrace, even out in The Rain.

The Left's Lawless Immigration Policies

"So I want to talk about three small wins and I also want to talk about a very telling admission by Mallorca himself. So here's the first win and that is that the big uproar about all those Haitians who were descending on American shores. Obviously, these are not people at the southern border. They're showing up from Haiti. And they're showing up because the estes poverty in Haiti, but there's poverty in many parts of the world. Our immigration policies are not based upon your poor, therefore you have a right to come to America. So here were the Haitians and they were basically being seen on mosque coming across the southern border huge public relations scandal horrific images for Americans. Who are these people and even though the Biden administration tried to turn the tables? Look at these Texas Rangers rounding them up on horseback cowboy style. Nevertheless, the Biden people realized this is a very serious problem, and so they began to then deport the Haitians. Expelling thousands of them in sending them back home where they, of course, belonged. Victory number one. Here's victory number two the Biden administration as I mentioned on this podcast a couple of times was getting ready was on the verge of making gigantic financial settlements to families that said, oh, we were families who were separated at the border, even if the separations were brief, even if they were temporary. Oh, they were so traumatic. Why not use to this at all? This is emotional hardship and pain. We need to be paid $450,000 each. Not even for family. Per person. And the biodiversity was like, oh, yeah, you know, this song's reasonable. Yeah, yeah, I think giving family is taking taxpayer money and giving America Mexican families a $1 million here a $1 million there so they can basically go hit the Mexican casinos. They thought this was kind of a fair settlement. Well, once again, the public outrage over this. Made it impossible politically for them to go forward with this. And so they have ended those court negotiations over these financial compensation, victory number two. Victory number three is a court victory coming out of Texas and Texas. I have to say, has been the center of the resistance to Biden's immigration policies just a flurry of lawsuits filed by taxes really by attorney general, Ken Paxton, who's been on the show, and this is forced Biden to reimpose, even though not fully Trump's remain in Mexico policy. It's even forced Biden to continue some border wall construction, which is to say to close some gaps in the wall not to build new sections of the wall which they flatly refuse to do, but at least to patch up the wall in places where they were sort of gaping holes. Now, let me turn to the statement by orcas. We have fundamentally changed immigration enforcement in the interior for the first time ever our policy explicitly states that a non citizens unlawful presence in the United States will not by itself be a basis for the initiation of an enforcement action. Now this I think is really significant, you've got a top Biden official basically saying, it is our stated policy that we will not enforce the law. If you've got a guy in the United States illegal, you know, he's illegal. He admits he's illegal. But he doesn't have other violations. He's not a gang member. He doesn't have a criminal record. He's just an illegal. Not by itself, is not sufficient to initiate return or deportation proceedings. So what we have here is a truly lawless administration in the clinical sense of the term, there is a law system says if you don't like a law try to change it, they can change the law they're using the technique of quote enforcement to say, we're going to enforce it here, but not over there in effect what they're saying is we're going to at least in these important respects,

Journalist Julie Kelly Spent the Past Year Watching the January 6 Narrative Unfold

"Julie talk a little bit about your experience this last year, how you got into this story, very few people are covering it. It was considered to be radioactive or fringe at first. Now it's very interesting and increasingly mainstream. Just tell us a little bit about that. I'm super interested. As I was watching it, it just didn't make sense to me. I think it just smelled right away. And all of my red flags after following not just rush 8, but all the lockdown policies, how that always orchestrated and came together. So I did not share the outrage about what was happening insurrection and all of that. And so I think I was just skeptical from the get go. I also viewed it as a way to stop any claims or investigations into election fraud, which of course it's successfully did. As I was saying before, it was successful because then senators came back and a few senators who were planning to help object to these electoral results in the 6 contested states backed off. And of course, then Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were certified the next day about 3 o'clock in the morning. And so I think I just started following it from there. But I then I became aware of the people who were charged. And hearing what judges were saying in court, denying bail to people, one the first story I wrote about was Queen Griffin, the cowboys for Trump guy, who was charged with trespassing. He didn't even go inside the building. He was lawfully outside, charged with trespassing and a judge denied him bail based on the fact that he did not believe the Joe Biden was the legitimately elected president and therefore he would not follow any of the laws of the government. And so he was considered a flight risk and danger to the community.

But like you said they can get out of that contract and save a lot of money cuz yes as much as I wanted them to pay that Prescott, they should have they did the right thing. That is somewhat going to limit what they can do not from the top and perspective but from in-depth perspective. And so if you can cut costs where you can with, you know, not too much diminishing return. I think that you should be able to do that. You should do that. Do you think the Cowboys are better today than when the season ended? Yes, obviously, I mean yeah, I mean Andy Dalton's not going to start the first game for I mean with that being said like if they and they've done enough this offseason to improve their roster. "Buddy Dalton Miller from 1:05 through the fan and you can also catch his work and the pro football network draft stuff. You still have blue chip scouting as well. I used to work with them. So I own it, but I don't work on it to anything with your delegate. I have delegated it completely. All I do is that when new guys join office, they asked me they say hey can we get him joined up and then I have to get into the the website in Squarespace and send them the permission to be able to work on the site wage. So and so that's literally all I do I even paid they started doing merch I didn't know about it. They started doing merch and I bought a sweatshirt the company that I own. All right. Well if you want to buy a sweatshirt go to Blue Chips county.com Dalton, let's talk about the draft. It's just a few weeks away. Who do you have your eye on for the Cowboys and not just at 10 but just in general who are guys that you're like, okay, these are guys that could fall into them at any round that you like. Yeah. So I think that's the guy that I'm most, you know, kind of excited about being there for the Cowboys specifically in around 2, because I think in round one, there's actually a lot of possibilities pain a soul might actually somehow faithful to the Dallas Cowboys. Really you think so, yes. So there's kind of a two-horse race there if Cincinnati stupidly in my opinion goes with jamarr Chase over. So Panic, so then in in that instance, so the only other real option most likely is Carolina. What about Atlanta at 4? You don't think Atlanta goes for how long they could but Atlanta's offensive line is actually not too too bad and they've spent a bunch of assets there. I think Atlanta might go met might be the team for Kyle pads is Atlanta Atlanta. Also just go for quarterback and get Matt Ryan's future replacement. And for that specifically I think that's a good spot for trail ants but if he doesn't go to one of those two teenage any should but there's a real possibility that he doesn't there's also just a real possibility that the NFL likes the the Comfort level that were Sean Slater brings over the upside of panic. So and now I think appendix was already a better player than Rashawn Slater is but Rashawn Slater's got a very transparent floor and it's very very dead. Hi, and so the the words you're going to get with Rashawn Slater is a very good guard at the NFL level and somebody who I think can play tackle too. Pretty high level. I don't think he's ever get a top, you know, five left hand full in the NFL or top-five right tackle, but I think you can be you know in that six to ten range consistently but pending sought 10:00 is the name that I'm kind of circling for the Cowboys off at 44. He fought to Mellow van wheel that is the quarterback from Syracuse..

"Really good player for six seasons and had a down year last year. And because again, there's a ton of fifties on the market guy that maybe they could have on the cheap relative Marcus May free safety from the Jets six picks for him in four years got a tattoo pics last year's playing some really bad Jets team's but has been a very productive player. John Johnson another young good young player free safety from the Rams and other guy over four seasons multiple pictures multiple pics season's over the course of multiple Seasons. So I mean Marcus Williams John Johnson Anthony Harris Marcus Mays, Justin Simmons Simmons a pipe trance not going to happen. But beyond that we're talking about four different guys all pretty comparable in terms of skill set all guys that are put up pretty comparable production that have shown to be able to do it at the NFL level. If I'm the Cowboys and I I prioritized investing in one specific position. That position is going to be free safety. I'd love to sit here and tell you the Cowboys should go after Richard Sherman free agency cuz they need a good corner and love that would love the Cowboys go to Richard Sherman. But if you're saying to me are dead learning the Cowboys, you can only only sign one position group top level and free agency. Who is that that's a free safety because Cowboys have continually told us that they don't care about the free safety position and it's continually been a pain point for this team because they don't have a guy that can cover in the back end and I'm confident the Cowboys could spend draft capital on corner on linebacker offensive line and offensive line and and be okay the one position. I'm not confident in the Cowboys successfully fortifying through the draft and having immediate returns would be free safety. If there is one position where I want a guy to come in and be ready to play and contribute and be really good right away. It's free safety and even more so because the market is going to be stunted because there's so many free agents that are gonna be available for the free safety position. And these are guys I've mentioned that off even included in many ways other guys that are going to get cut again because of cap casualties like the r j o. My buddy in a moment, but first I need to tell you about my friends bet online. But online. E g is the easiest.

"They can structure a deal with DAC like this as the cap increases. So do your earnings which means that maybe next year you're making less money but like Patrick Mahomes as you get further along going to be making more and more money and if you guarantee that money, it's even better obviously for the team and this is what it's all about. It's about understanding. What's what's behind the bend this with great organizations. Do they plan for that? This is why the Chiefs structure the deal with Patrick Mahomes the way that they did these cheap this year and next year. But then once that new TV money kicks in Mahomes contract goes up and it's going to be commensurate with with what other quarterbacks going to get. and and this leads me to how are the Cowboys going to be playing in the Super bowl next season because it's it's as we watch the Superbowl on Sunday. We will think back to the late nineties and wonder how it's been so long since we woke up on a Sunday to watch the Cowboys play in Super Bowl Sunday. It seemed like in the nineties would happen every year and it seemed like it did and yet it has it been a long time since so how long going to get back there? Well ties in a salary cap in a big way because again the fallacy of next season. Oh, we're capstrap we have to be really Frugal with our money. We've got a really reduce spending. So like the idea that the Cowboys could retain Dak Prescott son to a long-term contract and be active in free agency seems outrageous. You can't do that. Not with a salary cap taking a deep dish is the fallacy don't believe it. Don't fall into the Trap. Don't buy it don't Because the Cowboys for them to be playing in this game next year are going to need to be spending some money in free agency. Especially on the defensive side of the football last week or was a couple of weeks ago. I talked about Justin Simmons, you know a bit really good free safety that could be available because he's on the Broncos and though he's wants to wage has paid free safeties. If not, the highest paid safety in football. The Broncos are in kind of a rebuild. So why would they spend a bunch of money on a safety at this point in time? It doesn't seem like the right move. There are multiple free safeties in the market. This year doesn't have to be Simmons could be others but the Cowboys cannot rely solely on the draft to fix their.

"5th, 2021 this off the Cowboys beat on clns media. Emery temkin of a season is over and I gotta say I'm actually happy the Cowboys didn't make the playoffs home tell you why coming up in a moment, but first today's episode is brought to you by betonline.ag but online that AG your online Sportsbook experts also on our own minds you to hit subscribe if you have not yet already. So I started off as saying I'm glad the Cowboys going to make the playoffs and so you might be listened to that thinking come on why the plants are fun? It's fun to play extra games and it's fun to wake up on the morning of playoff game would be excited about it. And the Cowboys met so few playoff games in you know, the last two-plus decades that anyone that they get is good and I get that but my concern with this team making the playoff is that would mask the obvious flaws and limitations of this football team. This team is clearly not going to win a Superbowl in 2020 it major limitations even break the injuries. So I was I was hoping that if they made the playoffs that that wouldn't Shield the front office from addressing the issues that they actually have because the Cowboys Can be good at that? masking their actual limitations I know that because these have been limitations for the Cowboys for years and so my fear was the Cowboys make the playoffs and that all would be forgotten about why the Cowboys war or they were wage which was not in a good place. Now what the Cowboys did end up making something out of this season and getting some positives out of the season but the ultimate goal in a Superbowl That's the Cowboys did in the nineties almost.

"Let's welcome in Patchogue on my co-host on Twitter at Pat Sports guy. I'm already tempted on Twitter at our a sports Cowboys on the heels of a 3717 victory over the Eagles. And Patrick, I mean the the sort of prevailing discussing discussion Point come out of this win over Philadelphia is you know, this balance between excitement and the Cowboys still somehow someway playing week 17 for a chance at a division championship versus the you know, the draft hanging for draft picks better picks and sort of, you know, the the idea of this team has a lot of holes to fill a use high draft picks to do it. Where are you on that that the balance between those two things? First of all, I want to give a shout out to the Philadelphia Eagles who Once Again Play it again say Dallas Cowboys suck running a JV Squad and got their butts kicked absolutely loved it absolutely loved it. But in talking balance, but good point. Let's talk about the Eagles would first cuz it's nice to be the Eagles wage doesn't matter what the circumstance I said it. I said it yesterday during the game. It's you know, Dallas was down 14 to 3, and I treated out I can handle getting blown out in 2020 just not dead. Team do something and then from the point that I tweeted that out they out something they outscored Philadelphia 34 to 3 the rest of the way good job. I will take all the credit and it's happening is people who were on team tank were like tweeting at me going. Oh, it's your fault. I'm like like do me wrong. I mean, I think I was the vocal leader in team tank God being Jeff Cavanaugh. I mean you could it was kind of both of us, you know, we were both, you know leading team tank. We both wanted guy who used to have his Twitter handle be at draft Cowboys with want a higher draft pick that makes no sense at all. I mean why why would I ever want to spend time watching tane Sewell just absolutely dominate, you know defensive line. Why would I want to do that? So but but it's There is a balance there. You're right but but beating Philadelphia huge well for one you.

"Online Sportsbook experts. The Cowboys now head into an uncertain weak and uncertain future quite frankly an uncertain time and that has to do with the Baltimore Ravens and their situation in Iraq having widespread covid-19 in their locker room. As it currently stands the Cowboys will play the Baltimore Ravens a week from Monday, which would be December 7th. We'll see when that game actually ends up happening. It will have been a quite the long layoff 14 that's used to playing a short amount of games during this stretch of the season, but are actually going to get a promotion extended break here is they try to pick up the pieces on it as a Lost season and that's where we start today the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. I'm absolutely demolished by the Washington football team. It's worth noting that the football team was one and eight against the Cowboys coming into this game on Thanksgiving and I guess it's the Washington Redskins that finish one.

"Today's Friday October thirtieth. Four Halloween nothing scary. The Twenty Twenty Dallas cowboys season alright. started the cowboys beat on NS media. I'm already tempting joined by my co host Patrick con here. Momentarily, you can follow him on twitter at pet sports guy and we've got a special guest today. It'll be Danny CERAMIC FROM DALLAS COWBOYS DOT com joining us to give her insights into this twenty twenty cowboys season. But I've got to say this has been a tumultuous week for the cowboys for multiple reasons and really many of them have been. Throughout this season. Means tumultuous weeks then and. You know it's to me. It's pretty simple like in terms of does this team need a full-on rebuild and? Rebuild this and like I get it defensively, this team is not good but it wasn't going to be a good defense like I think that's the thing that everybody's missing. Go back and listen to cowboys beat episodes before the season started. Go look at my youtube page youtubecom. Ford Lashari. Sports. Like, go watch those videos. A said all off season like this defense is going to be bad. If this defense can be averaged, this team can win a super bowl but the problem was his defense was not. Going, to be difficult to think this team defensively could be average. So if you come to me and you're like, I've got this rebuild this roster and this team. I'm halfway there because. The season has gone down the drain. because. Of Their defense surely argue that but I would argue more. So because of injuries on offense and it's not an excuse. So much as it is the reality, this team was built. The strength of this team was supposed to be on offense period. So if you lose your starting quarterback, you lose four of your five starting offense of linemen in three of those five. You know you're talking about. Tyron, Smith? In. and. Lyle Collins. and. And then Giovanni Sarah but released it goes back to losing Travis Frederick T to retirement like you lose. The teeth of what's been a pretty consistent good offense line. It's just difficult especially along the left and right tackle positions. It's just hard to think that this team wasn't going to be doomed because of that you know again, I'm not trying to lay blame I'm trying to diminish the blame of the defense, but this defense wasn't going to be good if you looked at this team of the personnel staff from personal standpoint before the season started in this secondary would be credible enough for this team to be good but then I mean, you were just blindly optimistic I think the biggest disappointment on defense was their defensive front. Certainly think we expected I certainly expected this defensive front to be better than it's been but it on the whole it was going to be difficult to think that this defense could be anything but average, and perhaps significantly below average and obviously what we've seen. But in terms of like a full on rebuild. I I think you know you get your quarterback back healthy. You get him signed to a long term contract or franchise tag or whatever it is, and then you get more consistency and continuity from our outfits figure out rest of the season what you have some of these young guys. And it's not like we shouldn't expect this offense to be explosive again, next year. You're going to be derailed if your team's built with a great offense and on your offense is a great because it lost its quarterback off it's flying you know. But this season off season could be very interesting if cowboys start to. Lose more more games. I, mean my goodness the what we've seen the last two weeks it's hard to win one more game this season. So he could get very interesting the cowboys by themselves traffic at the top of the draft where the pretty good quarterbacks. See what happens but it's a very interesting dynamic. Certainly, that's could play itself out if the cowboys find themselves position to take. Trevor. Lawrence or fields We'll see because certainly if we see on Sunday night against the Eagles more of what we've seen. Throughout. The last two weeks then there's really no hope and you start looking at the draft as much as we sort of started doing already. And perhaps hope that this team can get high enough to potentially taking a position of drafting Trevor Lawrence and adjusted fields and then see how interesting this whole thing gets but. Certainly don't think that this. The values of this season should be a surprise to people. It don't mean the surprise what I mean by that is failures of the season's shouldn't. It's pretty obvious why they're bad. To me, it's pretty obvious. Weather's teams band. You won a bad defense turnover issues to illustrate quarterback and four, hundred five starting off and start the year. Difficult to think anything can be successful that way under that guys. And Look I think. They've done a decent job investing hydro picks an office of line where it's like hopefully, you get some of these guys that. You know. Like that's maybe what I'm most intrigued about moving forward on this season is let's see what emerges from this office of line. But see what emerges from his office flying. Is. Tyler guy that feel comfortable with at center moving forward. Through up Connor macgyver. What about tear still does he still get reps or they gonNA move Zach, bar not to right tackle and then see what they have in the interior with with Kana McGovern. I would love to see what the offensive line of. Whoever they have at left tackle. Cam Irving. Not really excited about him. Connor Williams left guard Tyler Center Connor Government Right Guard, Zack Martin right tackle. Now, it gets interesting because what if then you start looking Zack Martin it right tackle Wile Colin left tackle would call it because back healthy and. Terence Smith, you're just not sure I just think you get to really see what you have some of these guys especially beyond encounter McGovern maybe even getting a shot at at Williams at left tackle I. Think you do a lot of interesting things. I'm curious with the cowboys I'm doing. Woolsey. That offensive line is the most interesting piece to what this puzzle that I'm going to be looking for the rest of this season. Danny Ceric from DALLAS COWBOYS DOT COM. Coming up. Let's welcome to my co host Patrick Con-. You could follow him on twitter at pet sports guy. Ten Can Patrick Con Cowboys beat here on C. L. S. Media Patrick. So. Where are we? Yet I mean like I literally were at in the season but in terms of. My House. Where you Where we gonNA cowboys right now like where are you at the cowboys because? There's this weird sort of fatalistic feeling and hard not to be forget a win on Sunday I could change all that I think I mean we're we're are you on the cowboys? I'm evaluation. Getting Ready for next year. And I say that you know and I, try not to be negative in and play you know I try to be realistic about expectations. You know I mean going into the season I thought this was a ten when team. and then season started and they didn't look like ten win team they look like A. Seven to eight win team you know and then they lost Prescott now. Kind of feels like all hope is lost You know as far as the offense was scored six points per game the only two games without that CRISCI. The defense can't stop anybody I. Mean You gave up twenty five points to. To Washington and the thing that I think that bothers me the most is they're not making these quarterbacks that are going up against play. That's why I don't have very much. I have very high expectations team because of because if you're gonNA continue to let people I on beach you because you're not putting any pressure on, we can't stop the run you can't stop the pass. I have a hard time in and I know we've. Talked a lot about the you know not on this podcast but off air, we talked a lot about the struggles of Carson Wentz I think he's GonNa look really good on Sunday night..

What? What do you think what you think of the team this year? So a lot of Hope a lot of excitement and also a lot of unknowns because because of the off season and because of no preseason game, You just had limited access. I think that the build-up for this week one is really more than ever because there's so many there's so many questions that you have and just can't wait to see what this team really looks like opening week and then it obviously Morphin change throughout the season as well, but man it's been a long time come and get into this week one and I think we're in store for a lot of excitement long talk about a lot of excitement. "I think if you ask the the. Todd France assignment. He was saying that the cowboys were unreasonable. You talked to the cowboys or same way. We tried to get the contract to to Russell Wilson money. WH, what's what what's the problem? Mayor were not. We're not wholly low ball, and you were trying to get you to a level where you're at so I personally feel like though that that both sides really kind of got with the want the cowboys habitability. Now it's it could cost him and I I was told us. If they had a guy like Pat Mahomes and what Pat Mahomes? Just went through bedrooms, a no brainer contra at xay. Sign him up. Let's go back up the truck. Iriarte here's the checkbook. That's one of those contracts, but now that you're a situation where you still have maybe a little bit of doubt, because now it's like okay. I've seen that. Perform with Under this coaching staff. What could he do under this coaching staff? So this kind of gives them that opportunity to to be able to say okay. We can at least see ear now. This could be on deck if that goes out there. And the only reason only went. The DAK could fail to not get a better deal. Either from the cowboys or from somebody else is if he totally goes out there and poops in the bed. If that happens then now, the cowboys could say we were right will play with play with our backup. We'll get. We'll be the bridge any. Bridge would draft. Guy will try a different thing here. So the that once again is going to have to continue to play at a higher level, and the cowboys are betting that maybe his staff to get into the high level. If they do then, maybe that's where you'll see the contract. Well, the for sure the contract is going to have to be a lot of your personal opinion of Dak. is he the guy? Doing worth yeah, that's I. Think there's to me. This is where I used to have arguments with with the guys with Jeff Cavenaugh and gathered also used to come on when I was working in. DALLAS, cowboys dot com I never felt like that was the guy that I think. I always felt like the Dak lead the guys around. He needed the line. He needed the back. He needed the wide receivers. You know we saw what happened. Happened when it came receiver by committee. You know he wasn't. He struggled with that in a and then had to go out and get a more cooper, then all of a sudden. It's like we got a feed. The faulted says Zeke here on first down, we gotta make sure we stay ahead of the change. This is the way we play you know, and as we went along I I my my opinion that change I did see. Some things that I felt like he can carry this team more now, but again we'll see I. Mean they? They this surprise the hell out of me guys that they went out there and drafted. It was land I. There's No way in hell on draft night I would've thought that they were going draft CD. When you know, but that just shows you. Hey, we're going to try and help him. We're going to try and help the the play call. We're going to try and see if we can make him an even better player, so my opinion of Jack Is. I I i. feel like there's there has been progress there other things that you'd like to see him away..

I mean it seems unlikely. The guy that has played football and five years we'll suddenly become their second best player, but. It'd be great if you Delta's. So biggest worry is the secondary because you lost your best corner and another thing that I was this. From over the Cap Dot Com did a great article about cornerbacks. Why don't people try to build a super team with three cornerbacks? Because the average NFL team and the cowboys were just like this year, the average NFL team. Would you throw their number one corner? You get about six point four yards per target, and that was Byron six yards per target. That's what you get. The average team. If you go to the second corner, you get over seven and a half yards per target. That was Tito and it was true. If you go their third corner, you get over eight yards per target. And once you lost Anthony Brown. It was Jordan Lewis and that was true, and that's exactly what they were. And now they've lost the guy that was six yards per target. So is somebody going to slide into that? Will the numbers just accidentally end up that way? or how are you GonNa? Pull that off I think we're banking on Mike. Nolan pulling it off not cheeto and Jordan Lewis and Anthony Brown and Trevan digs and Darryl Wurley. I think you're you're dead on in special. Go back to your point.

"I'm well y'all thanks for having me on You know I mean. I don't know how to answer the like what's going on question these days. 'cause it's become a much more existential question than it used to be. Yeah seriously like I have to think long and hard about it like how am I doing? What is going on am I okay? Yeah well you know if If you get bored or anything you just go on twitter you mentioned Dak Prescott. Put your phone down. Walkaway new comeback entertained. You're not kidding man idea. That's I mean every day is just a diff- pronunciation on the same argument right. It's incredible the story hasn't even evolved. It's just like it's an illusion that it's evolved but it's like the cowboys want X. Years Dak wants less than Ex. That's where we are and yet it's like it's we keep getting news stories at Eagles this and it's like no no. It's the same thing it's always been. But that's just the nature of the Beast The Dallas cowboys especially the quarterback position. I was thinking about that mean. Just there's so many cowboy fans and obviously you either loved the cowboys or you hate the cowboys you know. They're divisive their hot topic. They're widely beloved widely hated and for better for worse. People are just going to try to chase that clout which you know. I wish more people would be a little more discerning of where they're getting their information from like. I think we wouldn't be in this mess as often as we are. If people could just be like wait a second. That person never talks about the cowboys. And now they're like reporting this crazy thing like maybe that's not right. That doesn't it just doesn't happen as often as we would probably prefer. The president speaks about a fake news. We roll our eyes but then like with that kind of stuff. When it comes to the sports report you can kind of see like yeah that makes sense to me? It's not fake news. Much as it's just weird convoluted and people are throwing things out there that gets aggregated. It's just a mess. Yeah it's it's like a chicken or the egg thing like you know what what happens. I like the the bogus story happened. I or did the uproar happened for like the never ending like hamster wheel of so true misinformation. And I guess yet so I wanted to ask you a little bit about John. Machado to put out a list on Thursday for his all-time Dallas Cowboys team. And I saw couple on there and I kind of wanted to get your opinion on because it's how I feel. I saw Charles Haley listed into me. That should be Harvey Martin and my seats. I Know Haley was an all time great. But we think all-time great cowboys. I think of RB Martin according to Ailey all while I love this conversation and I I. I didn't know this is where we were going to go. So I'm actually like I'm going to pull up the stats but I don't necessarily think you're wrong. And I think that is a very interesting and unique What's the word I'm looking for? It's a. It's something that we always talk. While it's it's a unique thing for the cowboys fan base. In my opinion I mean if you don't know I grew up in Louisiana. I was a lifelong Saints Fan. You know growing up before I got into journalism and it seems we say now but you know before drew brees got town saints or joke like they didn't have any good players like their their ring of honor was like Archie Manning Willie Roaf and nothing else like. They didn't have anybody else worth being proud of as Saints Fan. You take what you can get like you. You're you know you're claiming anybody and everybody and you kind of see that if you go around you know if you're if you're fortunate enough to be able to go at ten two games and other NFL stadiums you see like the rams are like you're near the Arizona. Cardinals claimed guys that like never really even played a game in Phoenix. You know what I mean. Because they don't have that much to be proud of. Meanwhile Charles Haley is a hall of fame player. He's literally in the fame I got his numbers right. I mean he's got one hundred career sacks and cowboys fans are like. He's not really one of us like he's not. He's not really one of us because he didn't play. Its own career bands. How Great The Dallas Cowboys are that. You can just sort of like Shun Hall of fame player because he didn't start his career as a cowboy and I'm not knocking anybody I just. I think that's funny because it just goes to show how blessed the cowboys Ben for the majority of their history that they can kind of afford to turn their nose up at a guy like Charles Daily. Let me let me turn my nose. Let me turn my nose up at another one. You Have Dion Sanders on the list. I would put parents. Newman there again. All of Famer okay. I will our MD on as part of that too like so. Many people are reluctant to claim the odd. The I can't I can't go there with you know Patrick I mean all right. I'm I'm Lee Harvey Martin you know. There's a case to be made that he should be in the ring of honor. I you know you was the cowboys sack leader before demarcus ware. It's up the title. He was the Super Bowl Co. Mvp eased. I mean I don't have a problem with putting him over Charles Alii. I can't leave arguably the best cover corner of all time off of any all time team and that's not a knock on. Terence Newman had of really good career. But I mean it's very easy to make the case. That was the best that ever played a position. Like Eddie leave him off the team. What would you him for Patrick? San Francisco Atlanta San Francisco. I've been known to do the hot. Take Okay people on twitter kind of get upset at time so you know. It's kind of like it. I you know Dion Brash personality like he's he's in you know he can eat he gets on people's nerves but and and you're right he played obviously he started his career in Atlanta. He want a super bowl with the forty niners but like I think the vast majority of football fans like when you think of Dion Sanders you think of the Star on his helmet You know he was on a cowboys. Super Bowl team like he was may be the biggest personality on. Its full of me again. As somebody didn't grow up a cowboys fan. I think of him as a cowboy and again you know when you're the best ever played the position it's hard to argue against them and I grew up in Chicago bears fan and so like the discussion. You're saying about like the great players in in history for a franchise like literally. Jay Cutler has statistically the greatest quarterback bears history beating like if Dak Prescott where the bears quarterback right. Now he'd be probably the greatest quarterback history the bears so they're like fifth and sixth all-time Cowboys List Energy again. You know I'm not. I'm not hating on cowboy fans you have every right to be proud of your team's history but it's coming from a team you know if you know if you're a bears fan or a saints fan or again Arizona Cardinals fan like it's just that's not it's not even the same planet like you're looking for anybody can be proud of if you're rooting for a team like that. Yeah I guess you know I guess. Sometimes as Goblet we forget that like from eighty eight eighty nine ninety. Dallas cowboys selected all famers with their first pick in each season. So I mean I guess we're we're blessed at the same time where I maybe. We're a little spoiled. Yeah Yeah I'd say so I hesitate to use spoiled in twenty twenty. Yeah cowboys fans get this. Unfair Rep for being bandwagon fans and I'm like Anybody YOUNGER THAN FORTY. Like barely remembers the. Hey Day you know what I mean so like anybody. That started rooting for the cowboys. In the last twenty five years didn't do it because they were winning a ton of games. You know what I mean so I don't know about spoilt right now but yeah I mean you know the the cowboys packers steelers forty niners Who am I forgetting? I mean there's there's probably six or seven franchises that really are a cut above when it comes to like historical success and yeah. I always thought that was really funny that you know I mean again. Going back to the saints like the greatest layered sates. His history didn't start his career as sane. Like you're not GonNa hear anybody trying to discredit drew brees. Because he started out as a charger. Nobody in New Orleans. There's that talk with David. Helmand DALLAS COWBOYS DOT COM. What's your favorite which the most intriguing exciting favorite? Move off season for the cowboys beyond the head coach. Well obviously we do the draft show. And I'm a big draft nerd so I immediately jumped to see lamb. But obviously everybody's really excited out that it was one of the most exciting fixed the entire drafts For shout side of bats. I don't know how you can't be intrigued by Alden Smith especially out that he's been reinstated. it's just fascinating. I mean I was I was actually talking with my show. Twitter yesterday about You know what's the longest guy has ever been completely away from football and come back and great ass and you know. John Brought Up Michael. Vick which is really a great point and Alden Smith has been away from the game even longer than Michael Vick was you're talking for years. Do I expect him to be an all pro? Not really but I do think he's probably good enough to really contribute to the pass rush and if he is And if you know if he stays on the straight narrow as they you know the reports indicate that he is I mean. How crazy would that be? That guy goes from being suspended for four years to you know making plays for the Dallas cowboys and I mean it's fascinating to think about you. Know I talked a little bit with Ari about it in the one thing that I said about Album Smith is. He doesn't have the tread on the tires. Some of these other guys. Do you know. So he's coming in a little more. Fresh not as banged up over the last few years. I think or fix that think that he can't contribute. It's four years that you're not getting beat up playing physical position again. The reports coming out of his camper that he's like super lean and in this crazy shape and you know this isn't a project in the sense that the guy doesn't know what he's doing he had like thirty five saxes first three seasons in the League It seems unfair to me to put that type of expectation on somebody who hasn't played for years but like I said I mean you know six to eight sacks sounds like a somewhat reasonable expectation and if you get more than that that would be incredible but it's it's just interesting to see how is dealing is after so much time away. So do you you project that Dak Prescott is GonNa play the twenty twenty season under the franchise tag or under a long term deal in the minute you try to have it. Take about this when you wind up getting raw. Yeah I mean I've been saying for a year that I thought it was going to get done me too and now but now that we're sitting here in almost June whites and as until June It's starting to feel like the tag is a very real possibility You know at this point. I DAK has almost no incentive to sign anything right now unless the cowboys really cave to like all of his demands like what is the harm in waiting until July to see how they changed their offer or whether somebody else signs via Patrick Mahomes Shawn Watson. I don't think that's super likely but it could happen. So and less the cowboys. Just give back everything he wants. What's the incentive to do with bill right now so now you're talking about getting all the way up until the deadline and then it's on them to make it work which they've done it in the past but I think it's hard to imagine that deal gets done unless the cowboys are really willing to cave and I don't the indication that.

Arias someone who brings plenty of knowledge and professionalism can wait for the cowboys with his perspective. I've also really gotten to know Patrick more and more throughout listening to this podcast and they have a great dynamic and working together. Thank you Ryan for posting that and I would encourage you to also leave us a rating. It's very easy to do. Take a short amount of time in means a ton so please leaves rating and I will read one on a future episode without further Ado. Here's my co host. Patrick on our attempt can patrick. Khan and in the lead up to the podcast and our pre podcast discussion planning period. You have forbidden us from talking about the forbidden fruit today. So even though there's a ton news circulating around Dak Prescott new information there on his curbs what he's turned avarice what he has endured down. He's apparently voldemort on his podcast. Patrick we cannot talk about him. Yeehoo shopping named because there's just a swirling bunch of news very relevant news on Deck Prescott will So Chris Simms right yes. Is He feel dumb today? Is he feeling them today? I mean 'cause I haven't seen him mess up on a national states like that since Roy Williams jumped over the line. Let's say I haven't seen him? That messed up the national stage like that since I don't know pros or college or anytime. He was on the football field. Yeah the the turning down the five ruined seventy five in in a my buddy. Patrick Walkers didn't happen in Iraq reports. I gather didn't happen. It's like seen Bro. Tough tough deal so yes so Chris. Simms basically said the Dak was offered a deal as you mentioned total. The one seventy five in the final year of the deal was as much as forty five million and basically it was refuted Isn't that would act was wanting the forty five in the final year. I mean based on what we've talked about the past deck and the the the rising salary cap as the new. Tv money gets infused. Like what I've heard from. This is I've ever heard. Would Patrick Walker sit on it? But basically I mean it's he wants the few wants for years the cowboys WANNA fifth year which which makes sense because if the fifth year salary cap is four hundred million where it's a two hundred million today that forty five billion in that fifth year is really cheap. So if I'm back even forty-five millions just outrageous number today five years from now that's cheap number so I'm like from from my vantage point if I'm back. I completely understand why he doesn't want to do that. Fifty I completely understand why he's Max at a four year deal because then he's going to cash in again on the salary. Cap goes up a ton and and forty five million at that point is is going to be small. It's going to be small money a talking about that. The whole the deck deal and and I think you're right about that you know what's funny is let's let's circle back a little bit right. Jimmy Garoppolo running signed his deal. Remember the outrage me. Signed that deal anybody even care about that deal right now. No kidding as how much outrage there is in the immediate aftermath of quarterback deal and then how quickly outraged dissipates. It's insane how it's going to cycle right. I mean it seems cycle every time quarterback new deal outrage new quarterbacks new deal outrage new quarterback deal. I mean it just keeps going up and up and up and it's like my whole thing that's the thing that I don't understand is why we're so upset about Dak Prescott potentially cashing in getting forty five minutes in the final year. Deal whatever million number you want to throw out there. I just don't understand the outrage and I you know I a national writer setting hiding. I didn't get the deal with this. He said Dak Prescott would've been picked fourth overall instead of one hundred thirty fifth. Would we still have this outrage? Yes guess what? Zeke Elliott was picked for the wrong. Guess what people are outraged but his contract to or whether you WANNA say. Pay running backs or not. That doesn't matter. Fact is right that I think because it's The Dallas cowboys. People were outraged. Yeah so there. We've talked about Dak even though you forbidden. Us talking about deck and I don't disagree with that because it's this endless cycle of rumor innuendo and it's like nothing literally. Nothing has changed like we can like as soon as I saw the story with forty five million ear. Mike Oh people are gonna go crazy with this. It's like throwing chum in the water but around shark but like it. It's of course he wants forty five. He probably wants sixty million in the fifth year of his deal because the salary cap could be in a position where sixty million is not rangers for quarterback at that time. And that's in place so nothing you know what I want. Sixty million year true key. Play quarterback athletic can't be any worse than killing more so it's like nothing changed. Dak wants a short deal. The cowboys longer deal because cowboys want her to be cheap. When the salary gap explodes index. Like no I don't want to be cheap explodes. I just had me for. You just had cheap for three four years like I'm good. I'm all set now. You're GonNa pay me so earlier. This week news broke. All Smith is being reinstated pretty soon out. Imagine the same will be true for Randy Gregory. He'll be reinstated. Let me ask you this. Let ask it this way. How are you gauging success for Alden Smith and the cowboys? Twenty twenty like what? What are your expectations? How are you measuring this from your vantage point? If all in Smith gives me anything. That's a win. The guy that played football years. Yeah so you don't want a guy who hasn't played football in almost five years. I mean it's unprecedented type situation. So I I think it gives you anything. I think it's a win in. You know you bring up the rainy Gregory situation in you know I was also I was also like that. You know I was like. Hey Oh Alden Smith okay. Where's Randy Gregory? When is that coming down right and I think the Combo them if they can together if they give you what you got out of Robert Quinn. A year ago I think. So when I'm y'all start factor in in a word is and I fallen on you know Term Cropper. You Know I. That's the way I will get right now. I think success is if I get seventy eight sacks from that combination of guys. I think it's a win. Yeah I'm with you. I the way I discussed it as if plan sixteen games like that'd be amazing success and you have a situation then where it's like if you play the sixteen games you're going to have decent production like there's there's you know the and have to tell you how many sacks can have any other number. It's like if if he's able to play in sixteen games the production will be there could have nineteen and a half sacks like he did a second year league. That was seven years ago. You know he's. He's not the same player and the expectations should be that he's even close to that. But if you playing games he's GonNa Produce and think you have to like it because he doesn't have the The wear and tear on his body over the last five years. True if you know. He's he's been training. He's on the straight narrow. Our same thing about you know. Randy Gregory No. There's not the wear and tear from the last two years playing football so you have to like the how fresh they're going to be in you know that they're gonNA get some opportunities because people are going to be so focused on stopping tank and now you bring in Donte Po in the middle and you bring in McCoy. Now you have guys that can do things on the inside and so. I think that that will only benefit them. Because what is you know? The big thing that the cowboys had been missing last year's as interior pressure also a coach that cares about interior pressure. So they have in players that can bring terror pressure consistently okay so right Defensive End Randy Gregory Alden Smith Bradley and I- Tyrone Crawford Orange Armstrong like who's just starting right defensive end right now. I'm probably heading camp. I probably have to go with tyrone Crawford. I mean he's he's the guy that's got the experience he's giving you something that defensive end You know I think dorrance has more of these kind of the guy that gives tanker breeder not that he can't rush on the right side but you got able bodies hopefully in rainy gregory and album Smith on the right side so I think it goes turned cropper until one of the the other two guys or even an I can start taking reps from him. I feel like we're so trained by Jason Garrett like because it's like if this team's head coach I tell you when with one hundred percents certainty the Will be the starting right defensive end they would just because it's like he's he's been there. He's he's a veteran. He knows the situat- like you just not going to be outside that like J. Scare goes with what he knows and what he's comfortable with and it looks right exactly right and maybe tarrant Crawford their best option there. I just feel like now is a new day where it's like. Maybe maybe they will go like maybe they'd get barely. I shot if he was if he was the job at Camp like the thing is Bradley. And I play as well and camp in Jason Garrison head coach Tom. Across pretty still starter without a doubt. Even though he's geared saying it's a little bit competition Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. Like without a doubt. It's tarrant Crawford so it's funny. You're answering Crawford. Mine was too and then I'm like wait. A minute Garrett's not coach anymore. Maybe they won't be so conservative. I don't know maybe it's rainy. Gregory maybe all right so..
