"The interview I can't even tell you how outraged I am by all of this as well she should be and thank god she's stepped up because the corrupt law firm of Covington Burling betrayed their client and undermined withheld documents from their own client we learned day before yesterday Andrew McCarthy is a former U. S. attorney and by the way William Barr in January called for a review of what happened to flim Flynn and he had the U. S. attorney that Eastern District of Missouri Jeffrey Jensen conduct the investigation of that's what's starting to come out now because you had to hire these you know Durham John Durham is the U. S. attorney for Connecticut had to bring him in because Washington is so filthy corrupted such a cesspool of deep state left wing corrupt people many of whom should literally be in penitentiaries that you had to go out to the Midwest and Connecticut to find honest people I think bill brought Barbara a lantern Andrew McCarthy last night also on the fox news channel since nobody else is covering the story for years a number of us have been arguing that this looks like a perjury trap we're now seeing the paper trail starts to catch up with what common sense is set for a long time yeah I think so Lindsey Graham who sometimes steps up to the plate and he has been stepping up for general Flynn thankfully job Lindsey Graham last night was also on the only channel that is covering the story the fox news channel talking about general Flynn and what he deserved versus what he got from the Colby corrupt FBI general Flynn deserve better from his government he was willing to die for his country the people who are involved in this I hope will be held to account Attorney General Barr is begin things to right wrongs there's a lot more coming I promise you that everybody who signed the FISA warrant against Carter page will be asked to testify before the Judiciary Committee whether they come or not will be up to them but they will be asked to come and the goal is to make sure this never happens again to any American muscle as a war hero yeah you know that congressman Jim Jordan is up there and he's saying this is worse than we thought it worse than we even thought Gregg Jarrett wrote a book on the subject he is a journalist at fox news and he's an attorney he was on this morning on the fox and friends program to talk about what we've learned over the last hours really and he's not amused you know I I thought this is the most outrageous unethical.

"Indeed all right. Here's some notes hot notes. Yeah so the big news for me. Today that seemed to get glossed over. Is that Chuck Schumer Senate Majority Senate Minority Leader. Excuse me Democrat is asking. Every every agency's Inspector General to investigate retaliation against whistleblowers who report presidential misconduct in the wake of trump. Firing Lieutenant Colonel Vitamin and his brother and ambassador Gordon Sunlen so Schumer sent letters to seventy four inspectors general and in one example in his letter to the the Acting Department of Defense. General Glenn Fine Schumer said the National Security Council filings or. Excuse me firings are quote part of a dangerous growing pattern of retaliation against those who report wrongdoing only to find themselves targeted by the president and subject to his wrath and vindictiveness. I I had a really great interview with the former Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs about this because he's the one who put together the department for the whistle blowers at the Va Eh. And while I can't tell you too much about why I know all about that or how. I am familiar with trump's vindictiveness. When it comes to whistleblowers let Allow me to just say very real Abbott. But it happens at all levels of the government to not just those was like in the National Security Council who you know who are blowing the whistle on specifically things that trump is doing. The sentiment is leaked down to all levels. Yes Shit Rolls Downhill Yeah. We'll they're super huge trump sympathizers at every level of government. Right now yeah there are and then of course. What for secretary? Schulkin was saying about the department. Veterans Affairs is and the Inspector General for the. Va put out a report When I interviewed him at the very end of last year that inspector general just finished or report on their missile blower offer saying they found a lot of retaliation against Whistleblowers they were either ignored or fired or relocated Or for you know. Their jobs moved cross country Or something like that and it was pervasive and so it's not just happening at the very tippy top. Either it's like you said it's trickled down into into the frontline as well and in addition to asking this fine guy to investigate gate all acts of retaliation against whistleblowers Schumer asked when the last time personnel were informed of whistleblower rights. I know the answer to that. It's annually in Web. Based training certification fortification programs. Department of Defense has won. I mean everyone has one of these online learning systems and you have to go in log in annually early and take your training and you have to be certified and you have to do it on time and it happens at a specific time of year for us and it changes for each individual that time. Would you have to do and just based on when you were hired and so that it does happen but I think likely what Schumer meant was he wants the reports reports of the number of personnel. That did not take the training as required Those reports are very easy to generate through multiple different tracking systems through those online. Did they complete a thing or not web based training exactly he also asked fine to write a letter to Congress assuring that the Pentagon's general counsel would not allow for retaliation. But that's weak sauce. Because the secretary of defense himself wrote a letter to Congress assuring no one would be retaliated against In this case and here we are so Sure read a letter. Shoo shoe also wrote I mean what else can you do. Schumer also wrote in his letter quote without the courage of whistleblowers and the role of inspectors general. The American people may may never have known. And how the president abused his power in Ukraine scandal. It's incumbent upon you. That whistle blowers are protected for doing what we hope and expect those who serve our country will do when called. Tell the truth nice and this is a huge. Because as we've said in over the weekend episodes it's not so much about what is it against the law and can trump be punished for this. It's it's it's more of a chilling effect on future whistleblower whistleblowers and. That's very scary and very dangerous. That that nobody's GonNa WanNa come out and blow the whistle and get ready for another. Flynn Delay Federal. Prosecutors made a new filing this Sunday rare Sunday. Filing in the Michael Flynn case We knew his sentencing was coming up at the end of February. And it's been delayed several times because Flynn changed lawyers and then became a co-conspirator instead of a cooperating witness and then he wants to withdraw his guilty pleas sentenced kept getting pushed back and push back the first time it was pushed back is because the judge recommended it be pushed back because he was going to sentence the shit out of him if he didn't cooperate. Great more so. This new filing indicates the prosecutors want more time to use Flynn's lawyers against him to oppose his attempts to get out of his guilty plea plea for lying to the FBI back in two thousand seventeen according to Kaitlin Poland's of CNN quote court filing from prosecutors Sunday could bring a new and consequential twist in the Flynn case aligning the Justice Department and a major force in DC's legal establishment against trump's first national security adviser that major force are his previous lawyers years from Covington burling The big news here is that the prosecutor seemed to hint that they might charge. Flynn with perjury. Or take Take him to trial if if Sullivan allows him to withdraw guilty plea so today. So Eleven cancelled Flynn's February twenty seven sentencing to allow at least two more weeks for both parties to file arguments events and for Flynn's new lawyer and the Department of Justice to negotiate over the use of Flynn's former lawyers in future court proceedings. That's so interesting it's really interesting. Flynn has claimed his. Why put him on my fantasy indictment this week? Flynn is claimed. His former attorneys screwed him over and forced him into taking a plea deal and made him lie and he's actually innocent of lying to the FBI about speaking to the Russians abroad speaking to Kislyak which is dumb because we have transcripts of the calls. Ause we haven't seen those transcripts but we know they exist. And in the Sunday filing prosecutors asked Sullivan to give Flynn's former lawyers from COVINGTON and burling permission to argue against Flynn's claims James and wave attorney client privilege If Sullivan agrees The lawyers could be called to testify against Flynn in future proceedings. Wow basically quickly giving the lawyers like Hey Flynn here saying you guys are a bunch of assholes who tricked him into lying about lying You want to stand up for yourself. Just wave wave waive attorney-client privilege privileges and we might be calling you in future court proceedings. Yeah how else would they get down to the bottom of that really right if he's trying to make that accusation because earlier Covington burling. We don't want to be part of this but now that Flynn is making these open into it. They're they're like well if Sullivan actually allows him to withdraw his guilty plea which I'm kind of hoping he does. Yeah go ahead motherfucker. Make my day Then these lawyers. There's could might come in and say he's the drug pusher not me no they might come in and you know and and testify in front of the judge and everyone publicly. Because that's what they're asking for that this is not the case that Flynn lie to the FBI. THEY HAVE THE THREE O. Two's they have. The you know the sealed conversations with Kislyak. So do you think that this is because trump is feeling more emboldened. And he thinks that he if he thinks that by withdrawing his plea deal and his guilty plea trump's pardon him now hundred percent. Yeah Yeah but if he doesn't withdraw his guilty plea in sentences he gets zero to six months if he does withdraws guilty plea they charge urgent with perjury and perhaps not filing for Farah which they did not mention in this filing or other things he could get more jail more prison time In which case you know six or one half dozen the other you pardon zero to six months sentence you paro you. You pardon a three or sentence but if he doesn't pardon him he's got a longer sentence so he's gambling with the hope of pardon but really could end up in prison for longer. Yep Yep which means. He seems pretty sure that he's going to get a pardon but let's ask Cohen Owen. How how that turns out going for you? But Cohen didn't turn back withdraws guilty plea. So if Sullivan allows as Flynn to withdraw his plea. We could see trial. We could see additional charges if not like. I said he'd likely sentenced him for the original crime which carries a zero to six month sentence from sentencing guidelines Joe Joe that's what's going on with Flynn Neat Interesting I'm really kind of life that go to trial but yeah I. I mean rooting for Sullivan to be like okay. You want to withdraw your guilty plea on a roll the dice. Good luck and I'm still your judge. Enjoy your time you know have fun. Yeah by the way gag order you think so. I would put one on him and Sydney Powell. Yeah definitely new Powell. Yeah that's belly very interesting and keep up with out happens all right. Well everybody if you want these episodes ad free just head to Patriot dot com slash the daily beans all your wildest dreams will come true. We'll be right back with trump's twenty twenty one budget and you'll never guess what he's getting.

B. I. set up a three star general to take a fall and they framed him and they're trying to put him in prison as always say the left loves to imprison their political enemies around the world the left is here they're here now for real in earnest and that's why we have all these problems from the lying and I mean that are left in the media the left on Capitol Hill the left in the FBI the left at the CIA John Brennan do you know anybody who ever voted for the Communist Party candidate for the presidency of the United States yeah we have dinner with people that voted for Gus hall for president because John Brennan voted for Gus hall the Communist Party candidate for president I'd states and Brock Obama made him CIA director and ever since he did the CIA has been an ongoing criminal enterprise targeting the political enemies of the Democratic Party certainly appears that way in any event so general Flynn is withdrawing his guilty plea the FBI came and they're like no no no no no all right we'll give it our great no jail time no jail time we'll settle for probation just don't change the plate you know why because they're up against the wall now their backs against the wall because general flint's new legal team is taking no prisoners in there after the truth and I can't really get turned over that three oh two FBI agents go and they and they trick general Flynn at the White House into thinking they're having a casual conversation and they were in there were entrapping him and again any FBI agent comes to your door at this point for the rest of your life and knocks on your door and says we just like to have a word with you close the door and called the police on them call a team of lawyers call Hillary's lawyers are you couldn't afford them but but there it is honestly this is what Kobe on Obama I have done to the FBI the FBI comes and knocks on my door they said they want to ask about my next door neighbor I don't think I'm going to talk to a I think I'm going to not say anything I'm going to close the door and I'm going to go away how about that and I'm I'm me you know I'm not like someone not Bernie Sanders over here I'm not a Bernie bro this is me and look what they've done to the FBI and and look how easy it was to destroy public confidence which is just what Putin wanted as a matter of fact just by the way and US figure which the Democrats have derailed the U. S. government for a full three years now to the extent that they've been able to they've created chaos and anarchy and dysfunction in Washington to the point where we really the government has gotten very little done very little everything president trump has gotten done is bent over the figurative dead bodies of the Democrats who have laid down in front of any sign of progress and tried to prevent it and they've created all this chaos and impeded our country which quite honestly is even what the ambassador hanky hack up on Capitol Hill said is what Putin wants that said the Democrats are actually carrying out his wishes and CNN is too stupid to notice it because they're actually reading from Putin's playbook tip yeah I don't believe there really pop it's important but this is exactly what not consciously there there on winning dupes of put in because this is what put once and they're doing it at the behest of CNN is doing it at the best of the Democrats on Capitol Hill and your your member Adam Schiff got suckered by those Russian comedians that called said they had naked pictures of Walter Brennan Donald Trump or somebody are they real wrote a general Flynn and general sun is withdrawing his foot is is play and now the FBI is retreating will settle for probation screw you guys you guys need to be taken down all right you guys need to beat and I'm talking about the people that railroaded and and call me is included in that just by the way and and honestly this out my name is Chris Plante I'm I'm a conservative radio talk show host that time often described and if the FBI comes knocking at my door I trust them as much as I trust the Stasi the east German see a great police at this point because of what call me and and and stroke and page and the Democrats have done to the reputation of the FBI then they did it for political purposes for political get them they used foreigners to advance their political interest in conspiring against their political opponents does any of this sound familiar because this is the topic of discussion on Capitol Hill today yesterday and for many months now but they've gotten all backward once again looking at the world through the lot wrong end of the telescope winds argument general Flynn's argument found support in a January twenty third two thousand seventeen article in The Washington Post of all places citing FBI sources in the post article published the day before Flynn's interview with FBI agents were they misled him and and real run a three star general national security director former chief for the D. I a and they're railroading how do we stand a chance against the government so corrupt how does a taxpayer how does a regular citizen stand a chance against this right and the post reports that directly stated that the bureau had listened in on his calls with the Russian ambassador and cleared him of criminal wrongdoing okay right so that's in the post right but then they go talk to him and they come back to the FBI and they fill out this three oh two which is the FBI agents writing down what they remember the conversation to be from an hour ago work three hours ago or yesterday and they fill out the three oh two and they corrupted the three oh two and now his defense attorneys are asking for it and guess what it's lost they can't find it no we can't find it well maybe you'll Corinthians stole the three oh two we can't find it so I'm in I honestly how banana Republic is this city how banana Republic is James Comey and and the the Democrats it's it's extra and then of course there's Peter stroke he's in the middle of the soul thank additionally as it emerged sense flint's guilt general Flynn's guilty plea that the FBI officials who interviewed interviewed slams anti trump agent Peter stroke and special supervisory agent number one have each been implicated by the department of justice inspector general Michael E. Horowitz in apparent misconduct and mismanagement in both the Flinn case and the Russia probe generally CNN is not on the story today they're not looking into this they're not covered and if they're looking to cover it they're looking to cover it up hi for the Democrat party strokes misconduct and anti trump bias are well documented the identity of special secret agent number one is protected in the flint legal proceedings but fox news has identified the agent as a guy named Joe Kapp P. I. T. T. M. K. eight one another Ukrainian army how many your credits are falling out of the trees around the place for crying out is either a Russian or Ukrainian and all the Democrats these agents so it's it's I didn't catch and have you got transferred and promoted when it was found out he was involved in the crooked stuff they promoted him and moved on to San Francisco where you know we can do all the things he likes this is a basic however pain can no longer appears on any F. B. I. website being removed you shortly after fox news identified him as the unnamed to supervisory special agent these people are so crooked it is just amazing we crooked crooked crooked crooked okay so now the F. B. I.'s like okay well so you just back off just don't investigate us anymore well downgrade it will just ask for probation instead of prison time for the national security adviser director of the defense intelligence agency and career army officer rising to the rank of lieutenant general that's to call me and Obama railroaded based on nothing and try to put him in prison they bankrupted IBM to sell his house they threaten to put his son in prison on trumped up charges this is the stuff of the Soviet days okay and not our side of the wall of the Soviet days their side of the wall of the Soviet days and if you're not outraged you're an idiot let me just say that okay ones attorney further asserted that his previous lawyers at Covington Burling had betrayed him by advising that he plead guilty without providing adequate assistance of counsel the Covington Burling team was constitutionally deficient and had not even informed general Flynn that the agents who interviewed him initially didn't think he was lying saw no indication of deception but that's okay they changed the the document later Flynn's lead lawyer Sydney Powell said this woman said they Powell is a a real star yeah she's standing up for what's right so naturally the media is out to get her to that's how corrupt they are truly extraordinary judge general Flynn withdrawing is is play he will not be found guilty we already know that the FBI railroad we don't have to light the way to find that out also today.

"The Soviet days and if you're not outraged you're an idiot let me just say that okay funds attorney further asserted that his previous lawyers at Covington Burling had betrayed him by advising that he plead guilty without providing adequate assistance of counsel the Covington Burling team was constitutionally deficient and had not even informed general Flynn that the agents who interviewed him initially didn't think he was lying saw no indication of deception but that's okay they changed the the document later Flynn's lead lawyer Sydney Powell said this one in Sydney Powell is a a real star yeah she's standing up for what's right so naturally the media is out to get her to that's how corrupt they are truly extraordinary judge general Flynn withdrawing is his plea he will not be found guilty we already know that the FBI railroad and we don't have to like wait to find that out also today the the headline from this also from fox news broke Sigman X. trump aid Carter page file suit against D. N. C. over dossier quote this is only the first salvo and quote it's an exclusive that fox says former trump campaign adviser Carter page filed a lawsuit Thursday that's today this morning in federal court against the Democratic National Committee law firm Perkins co E. that's those they they crooked Washington Democrat firm that hired fusion GPS that hired Christopher steel that created the fake Russian intelligence project product that we laughingly called the dossier it's a fancy French word you know they got fancy French words for all kinds of things this one is doctor what's a fancy French word for prostitute because I think it would parallel the fancy French word for dossier dot CA there it is it's got an eye glass to come see a former cab truck campaign adviser Carter page filed a lawsuit Thursday federal court gets the DMC and Perkins co E. and its partners tied to the funding of the unverified so called dossier that served as the basis for a highly controversial surveillance warrants against him at least two of which we now know to be illegal there were four and at least two of them the third and fourth warrants which by the way the fourth one was while trump was already in the White House and they're still spying on them and and it has this to hop rule keep in mind so there's surveilling Carter page and then they can surveil anybody Carter page talks to and then they can surveil anybody that talks to anybody that Carter page talks to that becomes a very wide net very rapidly and that's what crooked Kobe and the the corrupt Obama administration were doing all right so the suit was filed and and this is that that that two warrants were illegal the first two they're still reviewing to see whether those were illegal to but there was insufficient probable cause an insufficient credit kept to secure a FISA warrant to spy according to the justice department cording to the FISA court and the justice department now the Obama administration was illegally spying illegally issuing warrants and call me was illegally securing illegal warrants are gonna keep saying illegal to spy on its electronic surveillance which is a synonym for a spotlight on the the members of the trump campaign and and and and the entirety of this Krups city whistling past the graveyard like there's nothing to see here it's it's staggering how corrupt these people are very case it is a says a first step to ensure the full extent of the fires of beers that has occurred during the last few years is exposed and remedied attorney John Pierce said Thursday that's today defendant said those they worked with inside the federal government did not and will not succeed in making America a surveillance state yeah we're pretty damn close we got clapper lying under oath about that they're gathering up all of our emails all of our phone calls all over numbers they're gathering on putting in and giant servers and Utah and elsewhere that the government is built with our taxpayer dollars are we sweeping up all this meta data on Americans and under oath James clapper said no that's a felony lie that's perjury and why that SOB hasn't been put into cups yet I just don't know but there it is page first filed a defamation suit on his own against the parties in October of two thousand eighteen in a court in Oklahoma but that suit was dismissed in two thousand nineteen after the judge ruled the court lacked jurisdiction over the case level box so here it is they're spying on everybody illegal warrants changing documents losing documents and the news media is like no trump bad orange man bat Obama good slow rise of O. G. oceans you know Larry St Clair whatever Larry Sinclair yeah that's right who is Larry Sinclair held a press conference that he had sex with Barack Obama and did lots of cocaine never yeah that guy where a simpler so general Flynn withdraw his guilty plea and the government is guilty of this Carter page she was already been completely and utterly vindicated six ways from Sunday as chuckle Schumer might say is now suing and it's the first salvo that means he's going to do a lot of other people and I certainly help some you know coverage in Catholic was smeared and they won I don't know how much from CNN already they're gonna whether other lawsuits ships we live in the age of the great life some of us are standing on the house top shouting the truth you decide Washington's mall one of five point nine FM W. I. set up a three star general to take a fall and they framed him this and they're trying to put him in prison as always say the left loves to imprison their political enemies around the world the left is here they're here now for real in earnest and that's why we have all these problems from the lying on any that are left in the media the left on Capitol Hill the left in the FBI the left at the CIA John Brennan do you know anybody who ever voted for the Communist Party candidate for the presidency of the United States never have dinner with people that voted for Gus hall for president because John Brennan voted for Gus hall the Communist Party candidate for president I'd states a Bronco Bob made him CIA director and ever since he did the CIA has been an ongoing criminal enterprise targeting the political enemies of the Democratic Party certainly appears that way in any event so general Flynn is withdrawing his guilty plea the FBI came in there like no no no no no all right will give the order right no jail time no jail time we'll settle for probation just don't change the plate you know why because they're up against the wall now their backs are against the wall because general flint's new legal team is taking no prisoners in there after the truth and I can't turn over that three oh two FBI agents go and they and they tricked general Flynn at the White House into thinking they're having a casual conversation and they were in their entrapping him and again any FBI agent comes to your door at this point for the rest of your life and knocks on your door and says we just like to have a word with you close the door and called the police on them call a team of lawyers call Hillary's lawyers are you couldn't afford them but but there it is honestly this is what Kobe on Obama I have done to the FBI the FBI comes and knocks on my door they said they want to ask about my next door neighbor I don't think I'm going to talk to a I think I'm going to not say anything I'm going to close the door and I'm going to go away how about that and I'm I'm me you know I'm not like someone not Bernie Sanders over here I'm not a Bernie bro this is me and look what they've done to the FBI and and look how easy it was to destroy public confidence which is just what putting wanted as a matter of fact just by the way and US figure which the Democrats have derailed the U. S. government for a full three years now to the extent that they've been able to they've created chaos and anarchy and dysfunction in Washington to the point where we really the government has gotten very little done very little everything president trump has gotten done is bent over the figurative dead bodies of the Democrats who have laid down in front of any side of progress and tried to prevent it and they've created all this chaos and impeded our country which quite honestly is even what the ambassador Henke hack up on Capitol Hill said is what Putin wants it's the Democrats are actually carrying out his wishes and CNN is too stupid to notice it because they're actually reading from Putin's playbook tip yeah I don't believe there really pop it's important but this is exactly what not consciously there on winning dupes of of putting because this is what put once and they're doing it at the behest of CNN is doing it at the best of the Democrats on Capitol Hill and your your member Adam Schiff got suckered by those Russian comedians that called said they had naked pictures of Walter Brennan Donald Trump or somebody they railroaded general Flynn and general sun is withdrawing his foot is is play and now the FBI is retreating will settle for probation screw you guys you guys need to be taken down all right you guys need to beat and I'm talking about the people that railroaded and and call me is included in that just by the way and and I say this out my name is Chris Plante I'm I'm a conservative radio talk show host that time often described and if the FBI comes knocking at my door I trust them as much as I trust the Stasi the east German state or police at this point because of what call me and and and stroke and page and the Democrats have done to the reputation of the FBI then they did it for political purposes for political gain then they used foreigners to advance their political interest in conspiring against their political opponents does any of this sound familiar because this is the topic of discussion on Capitol Hill today yesterday and for many months now but they've gotten all backward once again looking at the world through the lot wrong end of the telescope when's argument general Flynn's argument found support in a January twenty third two thousand seventeen article in The Washington Post of all places citing FBI sources in the post article published the day before Flynn's interview with FBI agents where they misled him and and real run a three star general national security director former chief for the D. I a and they're railroading how do we stand a chance against the government so corrupt how does a taxpayer how does a regular citizens stand a chance against this right and the post reports that directly stated that the bureau had listened in on his calls with the Russian ambassador and cleared him of criminal wrongdoing okay right so that's in the post right but then they go talk to him and they come back to the FBI and they fill out this three oh two which is the FBI agents writing down what they remember the conversation to be from an hour ago work three hours ago or yesterday and they fill out the three how to and they corrupted the three oh two and now his defense attorneys are asking for it and guess what it's lost they can't find it no we can't find it well maybe you'll Corinthians stole the three oh two we can't find it so I mean honestly how banana Republic is this city how banana Republic is James call me and and the the Democrats it's it extracts and then of course there's Peter stroke he's in the middle of the soul thank additionally as it emerged since flint's guilt general Flynn's guilty plea that the FBI officials who interviewed interviewed slams anti trump agent Peter stroke and special supervisory agent number one have each been implicated by the department of justice inspector general Michael E. Horowitz in apparent misconduct and mismanagement in both the Flinn case and the Russia probe generally CNN is not on the story today they're not looking into this they're not covered and if they're looking to cover it they're looking to cover it up hi for the Democrat party strokes misconduct and anti trump bias are well documented the identity of special secret agent number one is protected in the flint legal proceedings but fox news has identified the agent as a guy named Joe dot P. I. T. T. M. K. Hey what another Ukrainian army how many Ukrainians are falling out of the trees around the place for crying out is either a Russian or Ukrainian and all the Democrats these agents so it's it's yeah cat and and he got transferred and promoted when it was found out he was involved in the crooked stuff they promoted him and moved up to San Francisco where you know we can do all the things he likes this is a basic however pain can no longer appears on any F. B. I. website being removed shortly after fox news identified him as the unnamed a supervisory special agent these people are so crooked it is just amazingly crooked crooked crooked crooked okay so now the F. B. I.'s like okay well so you just back off just don't investigate us anymore well downgrade it will just ask for probation instead of prison time for the national security adviser director of the defense intelligence agency and career army officer rising to the rank of lieutenant general that's who call me and Obama railroaded based on nothing and try to put him in prison they bankrupted if he had to sell his house they threaten to put his son in prison on trumped up charges this is the stuff of the Soviet days okay I'm not our side of the wall of the Soviet days their side of the wall of the Soviet days and if you're not outraged you're an idiot let me just say that okay plans attorney further asserted that his previous lawyers at Covington Burling had betrayed him by advising that he plead guilty without providing adequate assistance of counsel the Covington Burling team was constitutionally deficient and had not even informed general Flynn that the agents who interviewed him initially didn't think he was lying saw no indication of deception but that's okay they changed the the document later plans lead lawyer Sydney Powell said this woman said nay Powell is a a real star yeah she's standing up for what's right so naturally the media is out to get her to that's how corrupt they are truly extraordinary judge general Flynn withdrawing is his play he will not be found guilty we already know that the FBI railroad and we don't have to like but wait to find that out also today the the headline from this also from fox news broke segment X..

"Now before we get to muller there is some news about you say there's an indictment right not indictment conviction and it's getting not breaking waiting for this one for a while. Oh yes you have been you. Were talking a Bijon Rafiki and right yes. This is trump's all business partner in trump transition team official I. I don't know it's getting some attention in the news but it definitely has not gotten the attention that I guess these days trump official getting convicted of a crime of conspiring my working for foreign government really isn't that much of the missile line of them it just it just yeah so in that sense it kind of is just a Tuesday but like still again. Another trump official convicted of being an agent of a foreign power now so bijon Rafiki in is a business partner of Flynn he worked doc with the intelligence group which was a consulting business and this all goes back to the one of the big things that Michael terminating yeah got in trouble with but never actually indicted on now. He got indicted on the Russia stuff but he probably had an even bigger problem or well. I won't say bigger but he had just as big of a problem with his Turkey stuff and he was not charging it because he was cooperating witness and they needed Flynn and the thing was what was him offering the Turkish. I government to get the Golan extradited right. He was a gun for hire <hes> for Turkey to help them primarily help them with their guy yeah to help them kidnap and extradite a a U._S.. Permanent resident who is considered like a coup starter glennon meter yeah all those things and again flynn not charged in that case because he will flip early early and cooperated supposedly and got a really really nice deal out of it that I wished mother had been asked about today given how that seems without me in but the second anyway we've had some dramas lately when Flynn Flynn fired his counsel from Covington burling his council since since the start of this really and he got these new like trump sick of councils who may actually wind up Steering Flynn at prison over their advice to him but their dice was essentially to tell Glenda stop cooperating. Here's what basically what happened is you had government of Turkey says Hey Flynn. We're going to pay you through this Turkish business developer guide out Tekken as as a cover for US coming straight from the Turkish government bank accounts and then you can lobby for extradition of Glen and help us with this plan to actually not kidding extradite plan to kidnap him but because because we're hiring you are paying you through this guy this business guy. You'RE NOT GONNA have to disclose that. You're a foreign agent now. If you are an agent for a foreign government you have to file a statement with under Fara for any demonstration act and and flint him up do that at first until he was caught because he was so boneheaded that he wrote an op Ed are published under his name on election day like saying how great the Turkey U._S. alliances and how much we need to extract Yulin right at that point people were like that's a little bit odd Turkey paying you and that's when the field yeah that's when in the middle of all his other problems with lying about Russia Flynn Files Afar statement on behalf half of <unk> Flynn and tells group little problem there is that that statement in the far filing was a bunch of lies which which Flynn admitted when he pled guilty statement offense which he agreed to under oath in court says that he made false statements in that far filing which would have helped the government when they're bringing their casing. It's offensive partner Bijon Rafiki and for these same issues because they're going to be planted having Flynn there to test find him half like yeah we well. Here's how he broke it. Here's how Bijon was involved Yep. We totally did that. Shit then in July he gets new council new council. Make a new statement. Starring Judi got new council and the Council go to the government mm-hmm and say Oh we're Flynn said under oath that he broke the law did like false information in those Fara filings yeah..

"Yeah, without comedian, do we make it clear, the half to give it to us of their own will? But they're gonna give it to without no crimes. No, no, no crimes. No crimes. Yeah. It, it clearly sounds that way. And remember, this is a lawyer leaving of voicemail. Yes that to somebody who was cooperating with prosecutors. Right. So John would have to be and he's not, he's a smart guy have talked about, you know, the, the work he did in, in the Pete Rose investigation. Right. Like he's a super smart guy who's been lawyering for three times as long as I've been alive. And so he he's not gonna do the like. We're in, you know, in I'm craze on the no he's not gonna do that, and the Muller report. Let's go back to it. The surrounding testimony after that voicemail was left is what's really, really damning here, and it didn't change. So this is now. What Flynn through his council told Muller. Right. They got the voicemail and again, the voicemail is allied in one two, three four five six places right? Then it says the next day Flims attorneys, Ken, my, my buddy rub Kellner return, the call from the president's personal counsel to acknowledge receipt of the voicemail, Lindh's attorneys reiterated that they were no longer in a position to share information under any sort of privilege, according to Flynn's attorneys, the president's personal council was indignant and vocal in his disagreement. The president's personal counsel counsel, said that he interpreted what they said to him as a reflection of Flynn's hostility towards the president, and that he planned to inform. His client, that is the president of the United States. Donald J Trump of that interpretation Lindh's attorneys understood that statement to be an attempt to make them reconsider their position because the president's personal council believe that Flynn would be disturbed to know that such a message would be conveyed to the president. That was very convoluted. Could you give us the Andrew yell? So the Andrew is. Covington. Burling gets this voicemail. They talked to Michael Flynn, they say holy clown horn. The president's lawyer just called me and said, can we commit some crimes here? Right. I've gotta look, I'm sorry. I've got to call back and say, no look, we're withdrawing from the joint defense agreement. We're talking to ask, you know, I can't talk to you about any of this. Even if you've done the like, oh, it's patriotic for, you know, there could be a national security issue or other issue. I gotta do this. And then rub Kelner says I talked to John Dowd and John Dowd was angry. He said, I was indignant and vocal. That Dowd was indignant and vocal in his.

"The euro dollar thirteen ninety the thirteen point one eight Tom and Pimm. Thanks so much greatly. Appreciate Karen Sonali Vasic with us here on historic day is. Citigroup sees a changing of the guard and not to spend too much time on Michael O'Neill exiting of continental Illinois. And of course, worked briefly at Barclays and then on the Bank of Hawaii then taking stewardship of city group in two thousand nine in the exit Mr. panda and all that it's the New Delhi. That is John C Dugan. I'm going to suggest a name, many listeners don't know who's a government guy office of the comptroller of the currency, etc. Why his city group selected a guy with a government resume a public service resume to be their chairman because sometimes having somebody with a government resume can help you. Expand city group has what relations in Washington relationships in Washington in eve relationships in Washington to get bigger among US consumers in the US. But you also want to get bigger abroad. Right. So city group has been one of the biggest ladders among the large US, banks and. It's surprising because last year. My core said the restriction was over since two thousand Nathan we don't know how they're supposed to find growth and pin to me the idea here is it used to Corbett bet will do the banking Bank in will be on the shuttle a lot. Well, he he's been on the shuttle used to be a lobbyist for the banking industry. But I mean, the OCC is the supervisory organization for what fifteen hundred federally chartered banks in the United States. Can you said something really important to he was a government guy? But more recently, he was a lawyer at Covington and Burling Covington Burling. Yes, sir. I city group actually. So I mean, he wasn't always a while Washington guy. He was very much working for group in the most recent years to. Yeah. I mean, he was also mean just to give his full kind of the full perspective here. He was also the minority general counsel for the US Senate committee on banking, housing and urban affairs that was back in government. Late. Was a key architect into native of the big bailouts to right of city received some criticism for that to be fair. But within this is he a placeholder until Mr Corbett is ready to become chairman in with this announcement today is now a leadership not frenzy, but a leadership set of moments for CitiGroup in the coming quarters. They're already sort of has been I mean, the other big looming thing that Wall Street is watching is value act as a major shareholder of CitiGroup. And so, you know, how much are they asking for different changes at the top. How much did they have to do with the with the chairman title? And so, you know, there have been changes below my Corbett, but the idea of him being chairman as well has been kind of it was brought up earlier this year. But it was definitely swept under the rug with this decision today. Charlie can I just turn your attention to something completely different? And this has to do with Goldman Sachs because I wonder if there's. A way to correlate how many people get made partner at an organization like a Goldman Sachs compared to let's say the previous years, and whether that tells us anything share that was big news over the weekend. And they're having the fewest number of partners named since the last twenty years, really. And so I think what it says on both banks is there's fewer spots at the top. It's getting very discerning to rise at one of the largest banks. The talent pools are changing. And so people are getting more discerning on how these firms are run, especially if people think that a recession is looming in the next couple of years. Let's talk about let's talk about the repair of one very large foreign Bank deutchebanks. It's interesting that there are former JP Morgan executives who are betting on the future. I'm glad you're bringing that up because that was one of my favorite stories from last week. They're being discerning at the top matins Ames was one of the CEO potential candidates to take over for Jamie Dimon. He laughed and then he became main. Exactly, exactly. And Cerberus is one of the largest investors in Deutsche Bank. And now so is Doug Bronstein who is another former Jake Morgan executives, and so the future of Deutsche Bank as being determined or do they have the ability to sway management? They do because one way. So on one hand junk bond Stein is an activist investor. That's that's for sure on the other hand, you have Mads aims at Cerberus who is acting in an advisory capacity. So there's make no mistake about it. They've been widely reported now that he's there to advise the Bank on how to restore profitability. What does the some of the activists that owned which bring some of the number three percent three point one percent for mister Bronstein? Right. Right. Right. And then you add onto that some as well. I guess we'll do what do you look? I mean, we're into November sorta is it more management changes into two thousand nineteen other banks can have a city group break in just this headline. I don't know. I don't know if you remember the case of Sean Stewart, Sean Stewart was the X Parrella banker who was convicted of insider trading. He was sentenced to three years, and that conviction has now been reversed on appeal. Wow. To bring that to your attention. We'll see that. That's what we do here finance. It's an endless stream of headlines is well, what is the Bank your most focused on now in terms of banking news to the end of the year to the end of the year. Maybe deutchebanks still because because there's just so they're they're so there you gotta wonder what their turnaround plan is. So they are the Massias, right? But on the other hand one of your favorites to Morgan Stanley is one of the cleanest, and the thing is volatility has really been roaring back into the market. So across the whole board the banks of the biggest trading desk, you've got to wonder how they're going to be impacted by this very messy October. We haven't seen any thing out about it yet. But during the last set of earnings all of them did caution that it could freeze critical. Wendy you see losses off of a victory. You see it with an earnings announcement. Or is it buried in the ten care, whatever it's buried in the ten q don't bring it up. They don't bring it up. And so far we've been looking at all the trading figures and all the ten years to see what? The volatility looks like across all of the banks so far Morgan Stanley has been pretty slow and steady not taking too many major games too. Many major losses. Goldman has some outside stays. But the next couple of weeks. We'll be keeping an eye out. Thank you so much of walked through the banks particular focus their cigarette. Mr. O'Neill will retire as chairman CitiBank. John C Dugan. I mentioned earlier this is not Brady Dougan of Credit Suisse John CDU going to different spelling do. Will shares up percents MS Romney over it. Remedy over an IBM purchases close to three million dollars of new company shares they were discounted over the last ten days. I've I've heard that. Yeah. Yeah. I would I would if you're talking about people buying stock in their own company. Larry Culpepper of GE? I think that's the news. I missed that. He's he's loaded up. Yes. Oh, you didn't. Yeah. I haven't been able to focus. Two million two point two. He put he bought two point two million dollars worth of Jesus stock. There you go. A mixed market green on the screen. Dow up ninety six seven the vix nineteen point eight three Monday after jobs report churn. Brent crude up ninety six cents. This is Bloomberg. Let's go to Mr Michael Barr to find out. What's going on in the world, Mr. Barr? Thank you, Dan. Thank you. Tom nothing is certain on the eve of the first nationwide elections of Donald Trump's presidency. There are indications Democrats could seize control of at least one chamber of congress. Meanwhile, President Trump will campaign in three states today while former President Obama will campaign in the south and mid west. The State Department has eight countries including China and Japan will be temporary exempt from the Trump administration's decision to reinstate sanctions targeting Iran's oil and gas sector, but in a briefing in Washington this morning secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, says business entities should know. The consequences of defying the latest round of penalties. I promise you that do business with Iran in defiance of our sanctions will ultimately be much more painful business decision than pulling out of Iran and being connected to a rod entirely China says it regrets the US decision to reimpose sanctions on Iran. Jury selection is getting underway at federal court in Brooklyn for Joaquin El Chapo Guzman alleged Mexican drug Lord is facing seventeen counts including murder conspiracy, drug trafficking, and money laundering. "So that's not a great sign. I, yeah, I want to head off because I have seen already. I think politico is up with the story saying, oh, well, you know, Francisco has a conflict of interest. He's obviously going to recuse himself. I wouldn't explain what this conflict of interest is, and my belief that he absolutely will not recuse himself. Well, especially after all Trump does is go after by the way, if you're if you're an evil cartoon villain, as these people are Jeff Sessions is like the most productive in terms of carrying out your evil plan. And yet he's probably gonna lose his job after the midterms in my opinion, because Trump is so angry that he recused himself. So I'm sure that would be somewhere in the calculus of whether or not people want to recuse themselves fide. I completely. So here is the allege. Conflict of interest Francisco was a partner at Jones day Jones day is a Covington and Burling style firm, right? They they may even be bigger than Covington Burling. They're huge. I have friends over at Jones day, right that it's it's an enormous. They've thousands of lawyers across multiple countries, right? Another law partner is Don Mcgann. White House counsel and Jones day continues to get paid for advising the president. They were the law firm that represented the Trump campaign and they represent Trump with respect to the Muller investigation. However, so long as an attorney is walled off, it is virtually commonplace for you know, you've got one corner of the firm doing this work for Donald Trump and it it absolutely. In my view would not preclude franscisco from saying, I never did any work for the president's campaign. I have no ongoing contact with Jones day. And so there's no problem. There's no conflict and you don't have to bypass me. And in fact, Doug, this up Francisco signed an ethics agreement when he was appointed as solicitor general. And the ethics agreement specifies that basically he gets he gets a lump sum paid into his retirement account because he's a partner at the firm. He hasn't given up his partnership there, and the firm is being paid by Donald Trump. And then it says for seven years, the. Withhold a portion of his partnership shares a reserve for account reconciliations and tax payments that the firm makes on behalf of its partners until all of these payments are made. He will not. He Francisco will not participate personally and substantially. In any particular matter that to his knowledge has direct and predictable effect on the firm's ability or willingness to make these payments unless he first obtains a written waiver, pursuant to statute, and the reason that I predict that Francisco will say that this walling is sufficient is because he's already done this in February of this year for in Cisco, initially, recused himself from representing the US in the travel ban case because Jones day has provided legal advice to the president regarding the travel ban. And we're in fact representing an amicus. A petitioner in a group that filed an amicus brief on behalf of the travel ban. And then after about a week, he decided to unrig us himself in that matter. So I do not believe that knowl- Francisco is going to recuse himself. If he is the next man up, if Rosenstein is fired, he will then assume jurisdiction over the Muller investigation there. There's another bit going around that says, you can't be acting acting, which is true for succession, but the the fact that it was the acting attorney general that I issued the order appointing Muller in my view means that the acting attorney general then has ongoing supervisory authority as Francisco. I made calls this morning because I, I realize we're trying to sort of piece things together. I called French. I tried to find out everything I can about Francisco to see is this guy a hack is this guy, and I couldn't find anybody who knows him well enough to to to tell me that from the inside doesn't look good. But and again, you know, there is. I don't know. I mean, I just I had the good fortune of knowing rod Rosenstein, right? If it had been, I'm sure there are other rod Rosenstein out there. I don't offend. He recent to believe that no Francisco is one, but sure hope he is..

"Going to respect her she'll testify George cabinet will testify, and I think that you said something earlier that people just don't people don't realize it. And I think the Republicans don't realize they're so scared about alienating the women the women's vote going into the mid term, but I do believe most voters integrate center understand a great silent majority. And I mean that in the best possible way understand what's going on here and are very skeptical. Just like they were skeptical of Anita hill. And I think there will be potentially huge backlash against the Democrats for this. Also, keep in mind, those of a faint heart after needed hill testified she was she was very credible. And the overwhelming feeling in Washington at the time was Clarence Thomas is is dead on arrival, and he came back and testified in his electrifying way. And it changed the dynamic. So I think I think we're already starting to see this happen with the judge Kavanagh's denial and with people saying, wait a minute. This is just this is just weird. Suspicious. Silly. Well, let's let's I want to ask your opinion on something. This judge star yesterday both on radio and TV with me said he he strongly advised against delaying the confirmation vote. And I think it because he understands all too well that the delay works in the Democrats favor. And he said if they want her to come up testify, maybe maybe do it on Friday the vote but Thursday or Wednesday to the Jewish high holidays are here as well. But you know, the idea of waiting entire extra week on this. He he didn't think it was a good idea. He thought he said the process is what the process is. There is no way of getting at the truth. Thirty six years later. This is only being done for one reason. And he thought have for common say her piece, but he was very concerned about a delay in vote. I don't think they're going to lay it very long. I think they had some delay built in because they suspected something like this might happen. So I'm not concerned with the delay of a few days. And I think it Republicans have been very careful to say she deserves a fair hearing. Now, I think on the other side, you have people say, well, you better not go. You know, you better not really question. Her better, not treat her poorly, while I'm sorry, everybody has you know, the right to question somebody's credibility. When you make an accusation like that, we don't we don't believe the accuser, that's not the American way, that's not due process. That's not how we do it. So by the way, somebody had a great idea. I forget who it was yesterday. Which was let's not have the Senator. Let's let each party that was my point. That was my lawyer. Yeah, we don't we don't need any more history. Grassley, God bless him bumbling through questioning. I mean that just a disaster. The first time I went with all the shouting is concerned, you need a woman questioning a woman Brett Kavanagh's lawyer Beth Wilkinson is is nonpartisan. She's one of the most respected lawyers in Washington. She can question the accuser, I think I completely agree with that. I've been saying that for the last thirty six hours. Let's take politics out of it. Yeah. Completely. I'm in another another question. I have for you is this actually it necessary. Another point that star made this really I think does damage to the judicial branch in this country cavenaugh has been sitting for twelve years on the DC circuit. He's had an exemplary record. You know, very impactful decisions two hundred written opinions. What what does this do to the judiciary? And is there who's who will stand up for just the Coequal branch of government, the judicial branch here, and friend of mine said who used to work for Covington Burling, he said I'd like to chief Justice to come out at some point. And give a statement about standing up for judges accused three and a half decades later of something to just simply derail a nomination for political reasons. And you know, he won't do that. But he is the head of the judicial branch is he not? He is. You know, there's there's the old Adam Smith comment. There's a lot of ruined the country. And I have great faith in our judiciary. Yes, they're subject to partisan attack. And really it's been going back to the to the Earl Warren years, and even before that too went after you tried to pack. The court has gotten really bad now. One of the worst periods in our history. I think we have a right to criticize Sushil opinions and actions that we don't agree with it. I I agree with you that this is damaging. I don't think it will be long term. I think most judges when they get on the bench, even though obviously they they can be motivated by a particular philosophy tried to do the right thing. And so I think we'll be fine. I really do people have by the way that memory is so short term in this country. People forget, I I haven't seen any reference to it. When Merrick garland was nominated by President Obama, Jude Cavanaugh came out with an article or. Or a statement praising him. Everybody seems to have forgotten about that. I think there's also a tradition of you know, of gang above the fray and the federal judiciary. You really is our crown too. I think it'll be fine. But this certainly isn't helping it. Well, I mean, I I agree with you in theory. I it would be nice to see some judges from who are appointed by both Republicans and Democrats to stand up now and say. We have to be very careful about how we're treated as members of the judiciary. I mean, we treated we should be treated fairly to that would be nice. I mean, you got Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She said something last week. I guess critical of the process, but I again, I just go back again the verge all these this. This is not a great situation because it makes the judiciary seemed like just another political branch that you can you can throw political. Political dirt at and that's not the way it should be. Shouldn't shouldn't be that way. I think they're going to be. I think they're going to be you're right. I think one reason they're going to be very cautious here is because of the continued fall out from the whole matter and just the whole issue of. You know, harassment and the me too. And. Judiciary is usually quote self in a way on these personnel issues that some people see us having swept under the rug. So I think you're right. But I don't think you're going to see that. Yeah. A statement Kaczynski is accused of of behavior while he's on the bench. I go back to the fact that any stuff you do in high school really so now now our generation saw is going to be judged on what you do at a boozy party in Chevy Chase Maryland with a bunch of rich kids allegedly. But.
