"Need any type of downfield playmaker. Any type of speed threat, any type of game breaker option. What about Jerry Judy? Please. What about Jerry Judy? He's had some nice moments this season. You're ready to write. So do you think the Broncos will pick up his 5th year option? 'cause they have to do it. I believe it's before the start of the league year, which is mid March. I do. I do, because they don't have any offensive weapons. And can he be a competent offensive weapon? Yes, he can. I think he could excel as a slot receiver. I agree with playing underneath. The challenge with Jerry Judy is he has impeccable footwork in route running and you can stack him up with anybody in the league in that category to run routes and get open. Okay? But in the NFL, you're not open by 7 yards all the time when you do that like you were at Alabama. So you have to make catches in traffic. You have to make contested catches. He does not do that. He did win Seattle when he gets wide open. That was another throwing ball in that touchdown. You can drop the ball in. He's great, and he can be a useful receiver, but he is not a game breaker. He is not a number one game plan for him. He is a threat that is going to break our backs. We have to lock in on Jerry Judy. In the scouting report for other teams. That just, that's not the player he is. It doesn't mean it can't be an effective player. But when you're talking about guys like this, right? Tim Patrick is a very good player and is probably their best receiver if he can come back healthy. Courtland Sutton has been a good player, but they don't have a true number one. Why don't they need another tight end to pair with dulcich. They need a running game. Like there is no one that a defense has to come into against Denver and say, oh God, we're in trouble if we can't contain this guy. There's no one that scares an opposing defense. And in part, I am gonna say this. This is where Broncos country might get angry with me because everybody wants to have something to cling on to and think that as a positive and as good about this team and that is the defense and you can not fault the defense for almost anything this season as hard as they played as well as they played and even going through some of the injuries of their own. But

"I came to play today where I came to play. I want to go back to the eagles for a second Marshall. Do you think this team can be a Super Bowl team? Based on what you saw last night and do the first two weeks? Let me say this in the top 5 now. I'm gonna say this, based on the way jaylen played, if he can play at that level consistently. And even if he dipped a little bit, if the defense played at the level that they played at, I mean, he's not gonna have 400 yards of toys. He's not, but I'm saying, let's say he's in the two 80 two 52 60. He's gonna run for, he's gonna always athletically get you yards with his legs. The question is, can the defense hold up? What's going to happen, and this is always it. What's going to happen when it's Philly scored, they score, Philly score, they can he keep up with the pace. If they play a Tampa and Tom comes out and score the first three drives, can he score the first three drives and buy his defense time? That's what you need. That's the question. He has to get them to that level. I don't know. I'm not going to say he's not there yet because I haven't done. I haven't seen him. I can't take it away from the kid. Based on what I saw, listen, yes, they have a chance. But that's what he's going to have to do. He's going to have to answer to a Tom Brady to an Aaron Rodgers that I don't care how good your defense is. They can come now and then first street drives put up 21 and guess what you have to do. You have to match that to give your defense time enough to help you. Yeah, I think we're going to look at the Philly schedule real quick. I mean, you just throw it up there and they win the first two games. And now they have very winnable games here going into the bye week. There's no reason why they can't be 6 O heading into the buy. Yeah. Yeah, it's there for them. Now, I'm gonna go to week 6, that's always a tough game. I don't care who the quarterbacks are. Yeah, wait 6 home for Dallas. That Dallas game is, that's always tough for Philly. And even coming out of the buy, we don't know what Pittsburgh's gonna look like week 8. We don't. It should be Kenny Pickett time by then, I would imagine. We don't, but I'm not gonna go, I'm not gonna pass up week four. There's something going on in Jacksonville. You like it? There's something going on in Jacksonville. What they did the other day, you know, that wasn't just the Indianapolis coach. You know, that wasn't just a coach laying down. We've been talking about that a lot here. The biggest thing for Jacksonville not urban Meyer is the head coach. You know, and you got a guy Doug Peterson speaking of the eagles, been there, done that, won the big game, and it's just kind of a culture switch now, and we're really starting to see who Trevor Lawrence is as a quarterback because you really couldn't evaluate him last night. And they have a lot of good pieces made. They've been drafted early for a long time. They got a lot of good pieces. I wouldn't be surprised. And here's what I'm saying for Philly, that's not just another win. They don't have to earn that one. Right. Against Jacksonville. Because it's Doug. Yeah. But that game's going to be in a little bit more to him. They're going to have to earn that one. It's so crazy. Jacksonville. What? The dolphins are good. What? I know, but it's so funny when you're talking about this, the Patriots look like Hawkins. It's week two. Yeah, but it's overreaction. I'm freaking out here. You can get those wins and let me say this. For those of you out there or our audience, you love football. You're going to deal with some ugly prime time games right now because pre season suck. Nobody's playing. This is your preseason in a sense. So these games are games, the first month of the season, these games are games that you can come out of here three and one, two, and two, and you're a good team. And now you have your identity fine. But you're going to see winds happen like you saw. It's just going to say to you too. How many of these teams are kind of treating September? You have to. Kind of as the preseason and you look at Denver, that's a really good example, I think. We don't really know what they're going to look like in October and November because nobody played in the preseason Russell Wilson didn't take a single preseason snap, courtland Sutton, Jerry Judy, all their big offensive guys, didn't play. And now we're kind of seeing them work out the kinks. I mean, Nintendo Hackett has taken a lot of heat in the first two weeks, got rightfully so. But he's still learning too, and he's still getting adjusted to some of his guys. I look at the prime time games and I watch the level of competition and they're one sided. Yeah, I thought last night was going to be awesome and it was 65 to 14. One sided. It's just like the teams don't, not only do they not only have they gotten into that much football yet, but they don't have the legs. You're not conditioned to go out in the game and get behind that many points. And like, okay, we're going to come back. That's why I was marveled over with Miami did. I was like, wow. Man, that was impressive. But where's two of getting all this from? I feel like for so many years, it was a question mark. Coming out of the system in college and is he any good? But that turnaround. They turned the corner last year. But that turnaround was something we've haven't seen in a long time. No, no, no. Let's back up. They turned the corner last year. Okay. They were a team who turned the corner last year. I mean, they play really good down the stretch. I think they won. But that comeback is not a normal company. No, it's not. It's not, but I'm just saying, as a team, they turn the corner last year. And then they were active in free agency. And they went out and they said, no, we want to make a difference. And what they did

We're going to come out of the gate three, you know. Guarantee. I like the Panthers, they are at home, a pick them, Baker Mayfield, revenge game. We don't need to talk anymore about it. We know what's going down. Baker's going to come out hot and the pan is going to win this game. CMC, not on the injury report. You see that thing yesterday. He got cleated and practiced and suddenly he popped up with a Bruce shin on the injury report. He's fine. Not off he's going to go. It's just going to be awesome. All right, Kansas City in Arizona. I love the chiefs in this game. They're just going to do their thing. I'm back on the chiefs. It's not even going to be close. Rondell Moore is 50 50 to play. It's probably not going to play. JJ Watt's not going to play. I don't know how I was going to stop this team. And because it's week one rich and there's going to be a ton of raiders fans there. Let's just root for the over. There's going to be tons of points. These secondaries can't stop anybody. Tons of points over 52 at so fine. All right, those are the ones you like, huh? That's the ones that jump out at you, huh? That's what I like. About you, but that looked like money. All right. We need to add that to broke off. I don't know. I mean, I think broca speaks for himself. I love Alabama tomorrow too. Well, you mean his choice of Kirk Cousins as MVP as his which has done all Willy nilly. And the cowboys are losing the Super Bowl. What else, Chris? All right. Defender in a new home to be more of a game record on Sunday. Okay? Khalil Mack? Chandler Jones. I'll go check out please. Come on now, where do you think I'm going? Come on now. What do you think? What do you think? Is he trying to tuck himself like this? 15 times to Sunday? Chandler Jones. Chandler Jones. Chandler Jones. Who? Let me just say it one more time. Chandler Jones, Mike Jones. Because Chandler Jones, you don't even be in a new home. And Khalil Mack's playing at home in his new home? That's a home game for the Raiders, folks. You think 60% of you think it was 60 40 bills over rams fans last night? Guess what? That's going to look like on Sunday. He's Sally's going to raiders fans. There are more raiders fans here in this town than maybe rams fans as we saw last night and chargers fans combined. Chandler Jones is going to get some get off as Justin Herbert might call up Matthew Stafford and say, how'd you do that silent snap at counter home? Because he's going to have to do that too. Chandler Jones, sir. I'm back in my raiders play. Boy, you're asking easy questions. What do you think I'm going to just, are you trying to get me to countermand my own orders? All season long? All off season? I mean, I'm just trying to set some traps here. I don't take it. I'm not taking any cheese. The cheese stands alone. I'm setting you up. All right, here we go, packers Vikings. Speaking of cheese, Vikings, offense makes a statement in a win or Rogers continues MVP for Rogers continues. That's more likely. I would say I would be lone wolfing the packers myself on Sunday, but mariucci is still mariucci. Do you know what he's going to be taken? But herbs definitely taking the Vikings because he had Justin Jefferson breaking all of Cooper Cup's records as a prediction. And then as if that was his bold prediction, Kirk Cousins winning the MVP. That was just a regular prediction. And then he's got the Vikings winning the division. I still need to see it to believe it and I heard it. Allen lazard might not play and the packers are still saying right now they won't even say if they're banged up offensive linemen are going to be

You notice that? He seems calm. I didn't see him toward the end of the summer. I saw him in Tahoe, obviously. The American century seems very happy, content. Feels good, and, you know, hopefully we start out. Hopefully the year starts a little better than last year. The game against the saints. Well, I mean, he got the Vikings up first. Right out of the gate. In Minnesota. That's big. That is big. Yeah. We'll see. Michael Irvin picked Kirk Cousins to be the MVP of the season. Yeah, well, that tells you something about Michael Irvin. And I was in, I don't know what's in his chili. Before I let you go, what's the off the beat pod? What's the pod here? So yeah, you mentioned before, the office deep dive. Where I talk to my old Friends from the office about the show and why it's now the most watched show in television. Bigger than it was when we were on. And I just, I just love doing it. I just love talking to people. And spoiler alert. There is a finite people to talk to who worked on The Office. That number ends, and I wanted to keep going. And so I brought in other friends that I'd worked with on other shows, and now people that I'm meeting for the first time and really talking about a director I worked with once said to me that great comedy and to me moments in your life happen off of the beat. Off the expected rhythm of how you, how you think life is going to go. And so this podcast is really examining from people those moments that help shape them and where they ended up. So from Eric Dickerson to Paul Walter Hauser, who is going to be on the podcast. And he's been in here he's been in that chair. And so I'm having so much fun doing it. It's been a busy Phillips. It's going to be coming up in a couple of weeks. Yeah, it's been great. And I love it. So if that kind of thing interests you, definitely check it out. Well, I mean, I don't want you to give too many away, but it's the life altering moment for Eric Dickerson getting the free car at SMU. We discussed it. We discussed. And that's where hail to the red and the blue, the Mustangs invest in you. That's my Alma mater as well. We have courtland Sutton coming on in our number three of the Denver Broncos. I'll tell you a quick story because this is rob riggle. I've known rob. Forever. He was on an episode of The Office. And we play quite a bit of golf together. And he was a marine. Yes. And I knew he was a marine, and I know now he's a comedian. And I don't know. We never had this conversation I figured, oh, he did his service, and then he left. And became a comedian actor. He was a marine for 23 years. He was. And he was his time was up. His commanding officer said, I want you to stay. And he said, no, and he said, why? So I'm going to go be a comedian. Guy laughs at him. He's like, what can we do to get you to stay? And rob in this moment says, I guess, transfer me to LA or New York. The next day he had his papers to New York. He was a marine by day, went to comedy clubs and took classes at night. And started his career. I mean, that story alone, like how he was transformed and how that is a part of who he is. It's just awesome. So things like that. And if you need a guest, I'm happy to do that. I got so many stories about how I try to get started in this business and door slammed on my faces and all sorts of things like that. You're on. I'd be more than happy to do that. And she's like I said, she's very nice to us and everything, but let me get the Walmart gift card and it would be good. Okay. All right, so you went with you went with the commerce? Practical. Okay. Okay? 'cause at some point maybe you'd be able to work your way into the front row of the concert anyway. Maybe that's what you're thinking. I like that. I like that. I'm gonna take that with me. All right. Before I let you go, courtland Sutton. Has russet all talked about the meaning of this game for him and of the returning to Seattle. Has he pulled you aside, any of the wide receivers talked to him about it, him basically saying what's up and how it's going to feel on Monday night when you walk into that stadium with him as a first time as teammates at all courtland. You know, you know, he hasn't really talked about. He hasn't said, okay, we have to go in and beat these guys because it's my old team. You know, rest is a very strategic strategic thinker when it comes to football. So everything that he does has a purpose and a meaning. Like I said earlier, you know, going into this game for him is just, you know, yeah, I was there before, but it's another game for him. That's another opportunity for him to go out and prove to everybody and to himself that, you know, he is who everybody already thinks that he is and knows that he is and he's been giving us pointers on stuff something that he knows obviously being in Seattle for a long time. How close Carol thinks, you know, how a lot of the guys over there their philosophy and how they move, but he hasn't really been really pulled aside and been like, okay, we have to win this game because this is my old team. It's been more of a, hey, we're going to win this game because of all the preparation that we put forward. We're going to go out there and showcase all of this hard work that we have been putting in and I think he's really excited. He's excited to be able to, you know, like I said, it's new for everybody, but I think if anything, it's really good for him. You know, being drafted there, you know, winning a Super Bowl there, having a success that he's had with that organization. I think he's excited for the opportunity to go and create new beginnings. And new records knew everything with us. But you know you got to, you know, you got to do it, right? Come up. Oh yeah. Of course. We got to go out there and take care of business. That's already understood. Okay. Because your coach's dad also got replaced at USC by Pete Carroll. You wear that one too? Where that one? See, I'm learning something new every day. You know, maybe he's not maybe he's just spinning around on top of his head because he's so excited about that revenge opportunity. You know what I mean? I don't know. That might be. I'm gonna run it by him today at pricing and see what he says, but definitely could be a reason. I'm just, I'm just feeding the fire. That's what I do for a living courtland. I hope this is the first of many times we talk on this program. Thanks for calling in. Most definitely. Thank you for having me. I really do appreciate it. You guys have enjoyed your rest of your day. You do too. Courtland Sutton, you're the man of the Denver Broncos. Let's that was a great ride. A great ride. We've ridden. That's a terrible hashtag. We've ridden. You can't do that in front of a green screen with a football. We've ridden. That's weird. It's his past tense. That's right. You know, when you do this as I've been fortunate to do for quite some time. How long interviewing NFL players? I'm in season season 20. Congratulations. I don't know if you're aware of that. How old are you again? You know what, guys, you guys, you guys can just take that and stick it where the sun doesn't shine because I've done this for a while and I'm pleased to say it. I guess what I'm saying. I'm just like audience know that you were not handed the game. Somebody who once upon a time fired Bengals came up for Chad Johnson pre ocho Cinco. You know when the lights on with a player and they can play. They can play around. And I got that vibe from courtland son. So you take the Walmart card over the Sierra front row seat. Is it just one concert? Yeah. Yeah. But I get multiple Walmart cards. Oh, it's like a Walmart black card. Yeah. Yeah. Because if grocery stores, I'd usually get my draws from Walmart anyway. So that would be great. I think smart. That's right. Long term. I bet I bet I bet your commissioner Google has one of those too. And think about this, rich, if they win a Super Bowl, that's a free front row seat this year. She's been pulling the show. At the parade. Yeah. Very good. I only asked the pertinent questions. "New quarterback, new coaches, new ownership, everything that's been new that we've acquired new players, guys that we've added to the roster. Besides Russ, everything that we've added has brought good energy, good change, divides to the team and sort of organization and I think everybody from top down from the ownership all the way all the way down, you know, everybody, everybody's enjoying the process of this new embracing the new and then getting ready for the season. And just being in the moment, everybody's just being in the moment where everybody's enjoying just this process of the change and everything that's going on around us. What about you courtland Sutton? What are your goals for the 2022 season? What do you do on that front? You know, statistically, I keep a lot of my goals to myself. I know where I'm trying to get to, but overall, I think a couple of my goals will be to be obviously one of the best leaders I can for the team. And then secondly, just go out there and be the best player I can for the squad, you know, I feel like I go out there and I put my best before every game then I'm putting myself in the team in the best situation possible to go have some success and I'm just looking forward to the season. You know, it's been a long road from us acquiring Russ. There's been a lot of talk, a lot of what would they do, what would they do? And now we finally get to go put it on field on the field for everybody else to go see all the hardware that we've been putting in and continue to put in. Everybody else gets to see that come to fruition and it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm excited for the season, for sure. So of all the changes in Denver, I give you a choice. You could have an unlimited gift card to Walmart. The new owners of the team gave me unlit gift card at Walmart.

"But is of a different generation and a different ilk. This guy just is like Pete Carroll and youthful energy exuberance, all this stuff. In comes Ross, Russ has been unbelievable this summer, as far as getting with the young guys, setting the example early in last one out, the whole thing. And I think that market Denver is a football town. And they have been devoid of football since 2016 when Payton left. They are a fine NBA and they won the Stanley Cup and you can talk about the rockies, but like when the Broncos are working, that is a football town. And I feel like they're ready. It is a, it is a boiling pot right now and Russ is going to get them there. I feel really confident that Russell not only is going to have the Broncos playing relevant football. I think he's going to be in the MVP conversation. I'm that high on them. See, this is why this is a great plant, the flag topic. So I see that world. If you're telling me all of a sudden Russ from 5 years ago is back, I'm there, but then my question is, what happened on the last two years? Why didn't he play that way? So the way you're saying he's going to play in Denver, he's just chose not to play that way and see him. He had really good weapons in Seattle, but he did. And last year, he basically picked the offensive coordinator. He said he wanted Shane waldron. I get all that stuff. I think they come here and it's just fresh blood. It's new and I feel like that is exactly what everyone needed in that situation, including the Seattle side. I feel like that thing had been done and it wasn't just Russell. Bobby Wagner is no longer there. KJ writes no longer there. They're turning the page in Seattle. And I think they were in this weird transition phase. Denver's been building for four years and has been adding guys like Satan last year. And like courtland Sutton and you can name all the running backs you want. And I think they're offensive line is solid. I think Denver has a really good roster and was a quarterback away and they got one of the top quarterbacks in the league. This off season. So I feel good. I feel like he comes right out of the gates and it's like, oh shit, the Broncos are back. They're relevant. All right, so that was my next point the flag. If you had to pick a vision with three playoff teams. Who are you taking? I think AFC west. I think they're the best by far right now. And I might say they could do all four with the new format with 7 teams. You can get a division winner in three wild cards. We can go through all the teams in that division, but I think Denver's legit, I think Casey is legit and I think the Chargers and raiders both can win 9 games, even with the division opponents. I think that division is that loaded. I would go with that division. So the other candidate is the AFC north. Which leads me to the next point the flag. Okay. I'm more in on sensei this year than last year. And by the way, I wasn't only because they cost you were there for a $1 million picks. We were up 21 to three. We had a thousand Tennessee. 9 sex murdered us until the Super Bowl. We were finally able to get it back. But I think there's always that, you lose the Super Bowl, you go backwards, like that's a recurring thing. I actually don't feel that way since then. I think they're loaded. Borough will be two years after the knee surgery. I'm just all in on this team. I think that experience is valuable for them. People say like buffalo has the best top to bottom roster in the league and man, you go, go look at the 12 best players on every roster. Since he's top 12, is better than buffalo's top 12. You could argue buffaloes deeper. I'm just standing on Cindy. So I guess the question would be then, well, we'll start with Cynthia, but the question for me if you get three teams out of that division, then you have to talk yourself into Pittsburgh which we'll do later. But are you in or out on since? I mean, on Cincinnati. And we talked about it on good morning football this morning too. Now, can they handle being the hunted? Because last year their schedule was cake this year, it's going to be a lot harder. The Super Bowl champion. AFC champion. And last year, Joe burrow was still coming off an ACL that first half of the season, and they clicked in the second half. I got a text from somebody who's been at the joint practices. Neither on either coaching staff, but someone neutral at the rams Bengals joint practice this week. And they're like, Jamar chase. Is absolutely amazing. And what he did

"With a couple other props, I think, was javonte and courtland Sutton. But let's go look at the individual receiving props for cortland Sutton. Minus one 12 on touchdowns at 5 and a half. And 925 and a half receiving yards. Again, very few times will I bet a player future. But courtland Sutton is one that should go. This number should be beaten pretty pretty handily. Now, it's predicated on Sutton probably playing 15 to 16 games. He can not miss time. He's already been banged up a little bit in camp. So that's something that might keep you off. But this is Wilson's unquestioned number one option in the passing game. This camp. I mean, it's any time he's in trouble, he dumps it or throws it to courtland Sutton. So back in 2019, let's look at the last time Sutton really had a year, right? 2019 that he was hurt, then he had last year 2019, 72 catches, 1112 yards, 6 touchdowns with bad quarterback play. Now you get Russell Wilson in there. Here's one concern. And I don't know if this trend carries over. Wilson averaged only 6.3 yards, 6.63 yards per ten when he targeted DK Metcalf last season. And I'm not saying that Wilson's gonna be throwing a Sutton and Sutton's playing the Metcalf roll or the locket roll. I just think he's gonna be the number one and maybe the unquestioned number one. But 6.3 yards per attempt. That's not gonna get the job done. And to me, Hackett's gonna let Russell ball out a little bit more. He does not want Russell Wilson running around that is something that they have worked on extreme amount of time here. And hack at these cancels just go late late, you're late. I mean, you gotta get your butt going here. Russell Wilson, no more running around. You know, trying to make these plays with your legs and then throwing it deep and then throwing it into traffic, be a little bit more judicious. But that also might lead to a little more yards per attempt. Yes, he goes deep when he's running around or he talks and he gets sacked more often than not, but I think how is going to allow Wilson to air it out more in Denver. And that's going to be more yards for courtland Sutton. So my own numbers here. I do have Sutton eclipsing a thousand yards. I told you if it was anything below 9 50, you just hit it. So over 9 25 and a half, it's not a no brainer because of injury, a courtland Sutton overnight, 125 and a half is a completely attainable number. The 5 and a half touchdowns I'm not touching. You know, you would think, all right, he's gonna, he's gonna get 6 touchdowns. He's the number one receiver, but touchdown's just vacillate way too much from year to year at wide receiver. So the official play here, and I guess I'm gonna have to break my own rules because I'm gonna bet it.

"With Holden Kushner, presented by bet rivers. It is the Denver city cast presented by Bette rivers. It is Holden with Visa and it's been a pretty good weekend. At least betting the Broncos we went to and O, we hit a minus two and a half. We hit him on the money line and officially up 1.54 units. I'll be tracking the plays this year, two and O after one preseason week plus 1.54 units and we'll go right through the playoffs. Hopefully, with the tracking our bets here in the Broncos, we're really nice start there. We're going to talk about those bets that we made and a trend that kind of started up last week. It really the preseason was flipped around from unders to overs, wanted to discuss that in just a moment. Thoughts on individual Broncos players and positional units. We've got my buddy, Ryan Edwards, from KOA, does a great show with Benjamin albright over there. Broncos player props have dropped. We'll talk about courtland Sutton and then my AFC west report's got to be the chiefs and a little bit of nuggets later on today as well. But let's get into our Broncos bet recap week two lines minus two and a half and the money line we hit them and we want them. So that was very nice cash those two bets. Game went way under 31 and a half. This is not a play that I gave out on the show. It was a play that when it was 33 and a half, I said, we got to get in on it, miss the number, ended up betting this live and it went way over. But wait under, way under 24 points. I think I even got it at 30 and a half after I saw the first couple of offensive possessions. That was just going to be disgusting. So technically three and O, but two for show purposes. And guess what? This was just one of three preseason games to go under. So you remember last year we had a deluge of unders in the preseason and we saw these extremely low totals and week one. We saw him at 33 and a half, 32 and a half. A lot of 31 and a half out there, right? So last year, hey, we got all these unders through the whole playoffs. And maybe we should have known then. That most of these games are going to go to the over. But again, you know, this Denver Dallas game with none of the starters really playing. None of the big starters playing. It was just a play to the under. I wanted to see if either team could move the ball early and it just didn't happen. Now, overs 14 and three in the pre season between the Hall of Fame game and week one. That's ridiculous. Overs of hip by more than 7 points, 12 of 14 games were decided by 7 or more points over by double digits 8 of 14. So you're going to see these week two totals completely jump. Okay, you're not going to see a Broncos total at 33 and a half or 31 and a half coming up in week number two.

"This would get really, really cool. Just flat out in terms of what this past game looks like. And Derek Carr, the sort of mind, the sort of veteran who can handle all of that ass. Like, again, aspect is a concern. There's going to be an onboarding process, but I would not be surprised if by the middle of the season. This is just appointment viewing passing game in Las Vegas. Well, Derek Carr, you know, he could fucking chuck it. He really can. He's got he throws some nice people. He was pushing the ball deep downfield even after they lost Henry ruggs. This guy is not the dude who came into the league. He's got steadily better even into his 30s. It's really, really exciting to think about. Well, I was thinking about the AFC west, I'm not going to do the thing where it's like, this is the greatest fantasy football division ever. Because I don't know. I haven't gone through the last 40 years. But I will say this is the best fantasy football vision we've had in a couple of years. Where you got just think about it. Mahomes, Kelsey and hill. You have Herbert Allen Eckler Mike Williams. You got Russell Wilson, javonte Judy, Jerry Judy, and courtland Sutton. And then you have car Adams ren for a while or and Jacobs. And they're all in one division, and they're all going to be playing the late games for the most part. And they're all going to be playing each other. And one of the big winners of this trade is CBS. CBS, they're going to have awesome games. These teams are going to play each other, you know, 6 times. And every game will be fun and I don't know who the best offense is going to be out of those four teams. I went through the division and tried to figure out like, if you were to just make an all pro team from the division, what would it look like? And on offense, you have mahomes, Eckler, Devante Adams tyreek hill, Darren Waller, and Travis Kelce, is unbelievable. The line is really good. Rashawn slater, Joe tuni, right, Colin Miller, creed Humphrey, on defense. It's impossible to pick the path Rogers. You have Joey about that. Khalil Mack, who's with the Chargers now, Chandler Joe, because he's with the Raiders now. You have max Crosby as well. You've Chris Jones on the interior, right? JP Jackson and Patrick Sutton durin James Dustin Simmons, all the backend, but you could argue that a all protein from the AFC west alone could hang with and maybe be an all pro team from the other 7.

"What about Courtland Sutton? Yeah, I think Sutton is more likely to get the extension sooner. Um, that said, I don't think they're going to be anybody before the season. I think you're probably talking about 234 weeks into the season, especially because Sutton's coming back off an injury and you want to see how he responds coming back off that injury If he's the same player used to be, um, you know, with with Teddy Bridgewater. I mean, you know, they avoided the last year his deal. They took that away when they brought him in so Yeah, I don't know that We're going to necessarily see anything sooner than later from him. I think that's one that you can. You can probably wait on a little bit the court and suddenly you're going to have to get done the fifth year option on job going to have to look forward to that. You've got some things down like you gotta figure out with Callahan and Fuller, both of whom are on one year deals. I think at this point you got to figure out if you keep one of those two at the corner position and maybe get them an extension as well. I can almost hear that. Both of you guys voices. You don't believe in Teddy. I can hear I can. I can hear them both of your voices. You don't believe in Teddy yet when it happens. And the extension is offered is going to cost more money. Well, it's very possible that's very, very possible. Yes, And I hope teddy balls out of control for the Denver Broncos. Because it's you. You say that with the smirk on your face, I just look because because what I what I want and what I believe maybe two different things. I'm just throwing it out. Hey, Ben. One final thing. Maybe the most important thing. We're going to get out of this conversation so far if Alfred starts a 12 team fantasy league are you in Um, is it Is there money involved? 20 bucks. "I'm getting four wide receivers. Maybe not a bad idea. Three wide receiver league. Let's go to dave's next year. Which has robby anderson in it. Courtland sutton tyler. Boyd tee higgins robby anderson. Dj chart and davante smith. That's yeah that's all like it's almost exactly the same for me. I've got boyd. Shark a euch higgins brandin cooks and sutton so like the one guy we haven't got to yet as brandin cooks and he is impossible to know what to do with. But i still of think. I if you tell me i have to get through sixteen games of tyrod taylor. Seventeen games of drug taylor and davis mills. I'm not sure if Cook stays healthy is going to be worse than wide receiver. Thirty two people are so low on him. They're going to be the worst thing. Probably the worst defense in football at. He's the only good wide receiver they have. It makes too much sense right. Thanks to which sense and it's not like you should necessarily assume a lower pass volume with tyrod than they would have had with watson because you know they never threw the ball that much. This this has not generally been a high volume pass offense partial partially because their quarterback gets sacked. All the time and so. Yeah i think coach is going to have a really really healthy target share. I think he's going to be twenty-five percent ish. i think he's a good value here. Regardless of what happens as i. Look at this sutton boyd higgins anderson. Dj chart devante smith. I know it's not the same for chris and heath but what. now what's the level of excitement to draft wide receivers. I'm more excited about the next year. But that's just kind of personal taste but generally speaking. I'm still relatively excited about wide receivers in this range. Yeah i think you can talk yourself into. i guess not you talk about potential. Top twelve upside. It's it's not that difficult to talk yourself into top twelve upside for me. At least in higgins sudden shark or cooks like those guys have all either shown it or easily have it. My my only concern was shark. Is that like that. Could be the worst of those. jumbled wide receiver course. It could be similar to tampa where there's no real number one. Yeah but it could be a much worse offense and so he could be third or fourth and targets to like right like i know floor. Yeah i have him chart. I have shark chenault and marvin jones. I think within like nine targets each other in my projections. Right could pause here. I want to tell everybody. The open championship has arrived golf time..

"He battled some injuries off and on. But i i like tim i really did. Only twelve percent of the whole thing. He's going to be the guy next season but The they've got a stacked looking wide receiver core. Which again does that put more pressure on. A guy like drew lock. Hey you have the weapons now. And i wrote a blog about this last year before the season i feel like the broncos gave drew lock the keys to a jet when he should be driving in eighty nine. Old four pickup. Just get used to it. That was last. Year was essentially your rookie year. They talked about dumbing down the offense throughout the season okay. They've tried to make those adjustments halfway through. But i tried to tell you. I tried to tell you you're over overcomplicating all this by adding all these weapons and when you add a lot of weapons you have to make the offense complex so that you can get those weapons involved. Do the broncos go back and send try to simplify. Well that's tough because now you're not getting sutton patra judy. Hamler noah fant melvin gordon. You're not getting these guys involved as much if it's a simple offense so i'm i'm intrigued by that but drew locks the guy. Don't be shocked. Tim patrick suddenly emerges as the top wide receiver. And then i tell you what denver whatever decision to make next season because they put the tender on. Tim patrick do you. Keep a guy like patrick. Give them more money knowing that. Okay courtland sutton is on there and Eventually your your hope. Is that jerry jeudy and keiji handler become become guys that are going to warrant big numbers. Big contract just weird. It's a tough problem to have you. You don't wanna pay a lot of money but you want all your players to get to that point where they're worth that kind of dollar so yeah it's trust me. It's going gonna be interesting when you look at these contracts. I mean sutton's than his rookie deal still he'll be off at the end of Twenty twenty wanna thank right so there will be some decisions. But i wouldn't be shocked if drew lock the guy. He relied on tim patrick. He looked his way. Didn't seem like he clicked with jerry jeudy first year okay. We'll see if that i it. Sounds like judy's kind of wanting teddy bridgewater. He's talked about his his spin of the ball. The way he places the ball. So i mean. Judy doesn't seem to fit necessarily with so i. I wouldn't be shocked if tim. Patrick comes out of this as the top dog next year. We'll see go. Vote at the whole show dot com. That's our power to play. Sports poll question of the day. Courtland sutton getting the majority of the votes at this stage and then tobacco. Judy and patrick are tied now at twenty five percent so go vote again at the whole show dot.

"And it just didn't get done. So I think the jury's still out a little bit on Kirk Cousins, and then obviously they also went the trade route. I mean, they have bred far they had case Keenum. So obviously you could say Brett Farve was really good for them at the time he was in Minnesota. Granted, they didn't make it to the end result of what they wanted to do there, either. But I think Brett Farve played well enough after his time in Green Bay that I think you could call that a success as well, bringing in Brett Farve. It was a big move, so they've tried everything first round picks. Trading for a quarterback and obviously the free agency, right. So George Payton, learning under Rick Spielman, and he was with Spielman at three different spots. He was with him with the Bears. He was with him in Miami, and he's been with him for Double digit years in Minnesota, so he saw everything. So I don't think that he's going to be afraid to pull the trigger and going a different route. A couple of those first round draft picks that the Vikings had on Lee got one year. I think the one that got the most was Teddy Bridgewater, and he got two years before he got hurt, then that was the end of that. So he's not afraid, if if it's not going the direction that he wants it to that he will go in a different direction. And I think if you have the opportunity to go out and get a top five quarterback that is what age 25 you do everything that you can. So that means three first round picks Andrew Luck. I'm definitely all in on that. And I even told you That I would even toss in Jerry Judy into that deal to sweeten it to make sure that that that can get done now granted, Let me just say this. I would try and get the deal done without throwing without Judy short, But here's my reasoning is toe why I would make him available in any particular deal. And obviously the shot. Watson has a no trade. So we could block coming to Denver, regardless of you offered the whole Bronco team for him, right, You know, But let's just say to Sean was interested in coming here, and I think he should be interested. Because if you look at the talent on this roster, it is young. And they're very talented. You have Courtland Sutton is the number one. And here's why I would give up. Jerry Judy in that scenario is because Tim Patrick to me last season showed me enough that he could be the number two number two wide receiver on this team. And you were gonna be successful with sudden and Patrick that you could say you don't have a burner out of those two, because I don't think anybody thinks of Of Courtland is a burner. But you did draft KJ handler who can stretch the football field, and I think he showed flashes of that last season. But Cortland sudden comes back healthy. And you have Tim Patrick in Cage, a handler, plus Noah fans. That is a lot of weapons for D Shawn Watson at his disposal, and I think Courtland sudden granted, he's not DeAndre Hopkins, but I think he is a rising superstar in this league. There's no question about that. I would completely agree. I would not I would not put Jerry Judy on the table as part of that deal of potential deal like that, right off that that's that's your ace in the hole that you're thinking long and hard about that. I mean, you're thinking. Okay. Even let's just say I'm not a drew locked believer. Someone is okay. That's fine. So drew locks a young quarterback that the Texans may or may not like what you put him in there. Because if you're getting too, Shawn Watson, you don't need drew lock. But if it's Judy, and lock and three first round picks I'm not saying I wouldn't make the deal, but I'm working really hard to make it a different player other than Jerry Juice, and let's be honest, This isn't about Drew lock it is about who does Sean watching inquest right now. No quiet..

Broncos Country Tonight
Who Will Be the Broncos Defensive MVP in 2020?
"Said we do have a poll question up right now at KOAA Colorado on Twitter who will be the Broncos defensive MVP in twenty twenty von Miller drill Casey Bradley Chubb Justin Simmons right now von Miller winning this poll Bradley Chubb is you're right there so pretty close I voted for Bradley Chubb by the way okay I voted for Justin Simmons the only because he sees the field the entire the entire season and I I really think you even thinking badly troubled well they they see the field was a ninety percent just the same as a hundred percent I mean pretty much yeah so I mean we're we're splitting hairs I I actually think there's argument for all all four of them I think there is I think you'd even throw in like I said Kareem Jackson I think we can have a argue about Todd Davis will likely leave we can at least leave the team in tackles there's there's there'll still be harassed kit comes away with with big plays batted passes I mean there's there's probably argument for anyone of these guys yeah other then then yeah I I could totally understand that just and you know he's good for the show and you know I enjoyed enjoyed talking to him from time to time but I'm not you know I I look at and and you know we're all big fans Justin Simmons B. last year before all this went down I was like he's going to become a household name by the end of season sort of maybe all pretty but you know I look at these guys and I'm just for my own personal thing and they have a bounce back season knowing how Bradley Chubb is is kind of Courtland Sutton on the defense enters the attitude work ethic all that kind of stuff and he was where it was interesting get to talk to both those guys a buffalo wild wings last year because it felt like it was kind of a new unified narrative between the two you know Courtland brother has sent a lot of the same things very similarly it's interesting because they're off the side of the ball so it's it's it would it was kind of fascinating to you know to see two guys have the same approach would be different sides of the ball that aren't necessarily in the same same meetings and
