"What about Courtland Sutton? Yeah, I think Sutton is more likely to get the extension sooner. Um, that said, I don't think they're going to be anybody before the season. I think you're probably talking about 234 weeks into the season, especially because Sutton's coming back off an injury and you want to see how he responds coming back off that injury If he's the same player used to be, um, you know, with with Teddy Bridgewater. I mean, you know, they avoided the last year his deal. They took that away when they brought him in so Yeah, I don't know that We're going to necessarily see anything sooner than later from him. I think that's one that you can. You can probably wait on a little bit the court and suddenly you're going to have to get done the fifth year option on job going to have to look forward to that. You've got some things down like you gotta figure out with Callahan and Fuller, both of whom are on one year deals. I think at this point you got to figure out if you keep one of those two at the corner position and maybe get them an extension as well. I can almost hear that. Both of you guys voices. You don't believe in Teddy. I can hear I can. I can hear them both of your voices. You don't believe in Teddy yet when it happens. And the extension is offered is going to cost more money. Well, it's very possible that's very, very possible. Yes, And I hope teddy balls out of control for the Denver Broncos. Because it's you. You say that with the smirk on your face, I just look because because what I what I want and what I believe maybe two different things. I'm just throwing it out. Hey, Ben. One final thing. Maybe the most important thing. We're going to get out of this conversation so far if Alfred starts a 12 team fantasy league are you in Um, is it Is there money involved? 20 bucks. Oh, yeah, I could do it. Yeah, There he is. R K away. Broncos Insider Benjamin Albright being brought to you by Coloradans for responsible energy development. Then we appreciate it. As always. "He battled some injuries off and on. But i i like tim i really did. Only twelve percent of the whole thing. He's going to be the guy next season but The they've got a stacked looking wide receiver core. Which again does that put more pressure on. A guy like drew lock. Hey you have the weapons now. And i wrote a blog about this last year before the season i feel like the broncos gave drew lock the keys to a jet when he should be driving in eighty nine. Old four pickup. Just get used to it. That was last. Year was essentially your rookie year. They talked about dumbing down the offense throughout the season okay. They've tried to make those adjustments halfway through. But i tried to tell you. I tried to tell you you're over overcomplicating all this by adding all these weapons and when you add a lot of weapons you have to make the offense complex so that you can get those weapons involved. Do the broncos go back and send try to simplify. Well that's tough because now you're not getting sutton patra judy. Hamler noah fant melvin gordon. You're not getting these guys involved as much if it's a simple offense so i'm i'm intrigued by that but drew locks the guy. Don't be shocked. Tim patrick suddenly emerges as the top wide receiver. And then i tell you what denver whatever decision to make next season because they put the tender on. Tim patrick do you. Keep a guy like patrick. Give them more money knowing that. Okay courtland sutton is on there and Eventually your your hope. Is that jerry jeudy and keiji handler become become guys that are going to warrant big numbers. Big contract just weird. It's a tough problem to have you. You don't wanna pay a lot of money but you want all your players to get to that point where they're worth that kind of dollar so yeah it's trust me. It's going gonna be interesting when you look at these contracts. I mean sutton's than his rookie deal still he'll be off at the end of Twenty twenty wanna thank right so there will be some decisions. But i wouldn't be shocked if drew lock the guy. He relied on tim patrick. He looked his way. Didn't seem like he clicked with jerry jeudy first year okay. We'll see if that i it. Sounds like judy's kind of wanting teddy bridgewater. He's talked about his his spin of the ball. The way he places the ball. So i mean. Judy doesn't seem to fit necessarily with so i. I wouldn't be shocked if tim. Patrick comes out of this as the top dog next year. We'll see go. Vote at the whole show dot com. That's our power to play. Sports poll question of the day. Courtland sutton getting the majority of the votes at this stage and then tobacco. Judy and patrick are tied now at twenty five percent so go vote again at the whole show dot.

"Before we get to the other side. I'll tell you my favorite GFS plays off the day and then we'll take it and take your questions. 303713 85 85 or 56690. Um, Tim? Patrick. What do we What do you doing with Tim Patrick? Right now? Me. Obviously, a lot of people have already added him. So I'm not like a nice sitting here saying, run out your waivers and get him because if he is there, you should definitely own him. He's got back to back 100 yard games. He's sliding into the court with sudden role even if you think that he is not going to be Courtland Sutton, you know, as far as his ceiling goes, I think you could say well, that role has Tremendous value in this offense. What are you doing with them On a day like this? I think you got to start him. I think he's probably wide receiver. Three for you, The Flex guy. I think he's probably good for you know, 60 80 yards and 800.5 on the touchdowns. Ah, that defense on if no offense is actually good to go or not thing about Patrick in this matchup easy. She's got size that those Chiefs corners really can't handle. There really isn't a corner that can kind of handle his size. And so I think I'm gonna have an advantage. I'd go to the well. I would start off early with Jerry Judy 2323 plays designed specifically for Judy, just to kind of get Kansas a leading that way with the coverage and then you go back to Tim Patrick on the big play. You looked for him for 234 chunk plays throughout the game and see what he could do with a core of the sun had four catches for 79. Yards that last the last time these teams met in the snow and the snow. If Tim Patrick get you four for 79, you're you're happy. Ready Having I I think that this field is going to be a lot cleaner than that. Kansas City game wasn't going to hold it in that game. But it's gonna be cleaner than that. And you know, I think that like I said Tim Patrick, one of the best people receivers in the league right now, if you could get through four trump place to him, I think you're good. When we come.

"But because he's so loose if he got past the first down marker, he had a touchdown go through his hands, which you probably kicking himself about. But I think his snaps. They're not going to be a whole lot, but I think he's going to find ways to make plays in space. And he still has that wiggle. Right. So the team that I cover every day. And you certainly cover more than most people nationally because you live here now you're obviously bouncing around you go to Kansas City lie released. You certainly have the last couple years. You will plenty down Brady of 2019. Yeah, exactly. And I'm sure he'll be here in the home's going go from pretty soon, but The Broncos. It almost feel like they're just stuck and not even neutral. They're stuck in part because when von goes down like he did And then shortly after that, Courtland Sutton down drew locked now for anywhere from to wish the five who knows And plus the other little injuries and that little when you talk about age, a boy, obviously a starting corner. Lindsay felt Lindsay had, you know has played a half and didn't do much in that very first half so far, and likely won't be out there again this week. What sort of I mean, there really? Is there any buzz about the Broncos? And what kind of sense do you have about this scene? Because talking plenty of players on the record and off the record. They're not ready to fold up there. There. No their tent and go home, I guess, but And I think that's the mentality I get from the team, and I think that's mentality the league gets is that they are a team that's not going to roll over and I think if you look at both games, um they could've won both games. I mean, they should have won the first one, and then they had a chance to win the second one against a team in the Steelers that after all, the injuries you just listed is just a more talented team. My big thing that I've been preaching is I wanted this year to have a lot of competitive games and a lot of growth from a very, very young offense. That's what I was looking for. Because in my mind It's just very difficult to be a playoff team to be a team competing for a Super Bowl with so much youth and inexperience in games like for instance. You go watch the game in Seattle between Russell Wilson and Cam Newton Guys have been through it forever, and we'll find a way to get their team to win. Drill hasn't been through those things. You know, This young team has not been through those things. I wanted them to go through those, and I didn't actually really care. And I'm always rooting for the Broncos because it keeps me see my family more often than actually really like everybody. But anyway, I'd like To see the growth toe where were right there. And even if the winds are with it were right there in 2021 is like, all right, we learned a boatload here this season. This is what we're going to carry it into with a very young team. I think there is a changing of the guard that's happening here. You kind of noticed that when Vaughan went down not to write off on he's won the greatest Broncos of all time. Brady today rave and said, he's one of the greatest defensive players of all time in NFL history, But you're kind of after the injury since the changing of the guard of like this is Drew La Courtland Sutton. This is their team. You know what I mean? And and so I want to see them compete. And I think that is happening right here. That entire interview with me and James Palmer on the Broncos daily podcast Wherever your podcasts free I radio ops my favorite place for it. But we talked for about 20 minutes. If you want a little more detail on the bucks and everything going on down there..

"But he always exactly what I was going to say your lie like I love the leaders we have on this tiny though they don't really good job and they come to work every single day. Like high energy like persistent little to no mistakes. I mean, like, it's just like one of the not one on this is a great group of leaders. Yes, one of the best leaders up in around Well, you've obviously been around some great leaders and great players in your time in Denver, and I know that you're really close with von Miller. When you got the news of his injury, how quickly do you reach out to him? And how disappointed would you be that you won't see them lining up across from you? You can't do a post game jersey swap. Like I'm sure you were expecting to do not that you can't get each other your jerseys and you probably already have a von Jersey if you really wanted one, But how bummed were you when you heard the news? Yeah. I was really, uh, disappointed on just for him for Joe because I know what they had at one year to get in the car and, ah Just the day I just sent a message. But I was praying phone I want called right then and there. I know a lot of people probably been reaching out was probably a tough situation over but I did. It's also my life. 23 days later, he said he was feeling good is just just talking and just tryingto. Just given confidence a motive in but he was going pretty good. He had some plans and please and I'm just happy that he, uh, just looking as opportunity to bounce back and come back stronger. Well, so let me ask you to put on your coach has had a little bit and not give away the game plans, but This team is really snake bitten right now. In addition to von Theyjust put Mark Barron and Marcus Walker on IRA J Boys already on I R Drew Lock is on. I r. But he's not playing. You're going to get a chance to change chased Jeff Driskel around. And so without Courtland Sutton as well on offensive side of all. What do you see? It may be no Phillip Lindsay Demon's practice yesterday. I imagine he'll be a game time decision again. So the team that's just banged up. What have you seen from this Broncos team in the first two games? Uh, the banged up, but they still have. Ah, pretty good. It's getting a lot of push up front and gets to stay. And they had a good of my first half running above or score, eh? So we gotta be really, uh, you gotta come in on both stopping the run in order to be able to go out dressed, Go a little bit. But, uh yeah, They do a good job of running the ball and he's gotta be on it. Well, that's something I'm curious because Those was around here that watch team are trying to tell people that the old line is playing better than maybe you would expect in the Garret Bulls seems to have really taken a step so that somebody who looks at what's going on up front With, you know, obviously through different colored glasses right now, What do you see from this Broncos O line. Do you see the improvement that that everybody around here is hoping for? I think they did get better not they still getting better. A sweet talking now, So he's watching something from less from last dish. It is a big difference for sure you couldn't go obviously said. Also whether that Philip Lindsay, we know what challenges he faces. Melvin Gordon, you're used to going against with his time in L, A and San Diego. What do you see from the vet is he's now wearing orange and blue. Like a little bit more explosive with all the light speed and spends and moves you used to think he was like a straight downhill runner. But he's been Spinning, making people miss and there's ah That's good. That's good for him, but it makes a little bit harder for the defense. In what we've got to come back to attack because he has been out of the tap, you could keep a ski move an injured downfield and They're like Lana Washing Gore. He looked.

"The tes David will be listening. 5 14 switching gears now to sports. How about the Nuggets Last night? B. K is here with that We're finally able to break through against the Lakers last night when their first game the Western Conference finals, 1 14 106 in Orlando got serious deficit to a game to one deficit. Coach Michael alone says his team will build on this or the way we look at this situation coming into tonight. Was that blew us out in Game one. Game two we gave away at the end, so we had to right that wrong and try to get a game under a bill which we did tonight, so this gives us that much more confidence going into this. Siri's letting them know that we're here. We're in this for the long haul. We're going to continue to fight and do whatever we can. Jamal Murray led all scorers in the game with 28 points as well as 12 assists, was just two rebounds. Shy of a triple double of eight. Jeremi Grant had 26 points in the Cole Yokich 22 points and 10 rebounds. The Nuggets will look to even the series two games apiece. Tomorrow night at seven the Broncos brought in Cuba Blake Bortles yesterday and after covert protocols, he can join the team Friday or Saturday. So maybe next week, we'll be in a Q B competition with Jeff Driskel to start until Drew lock is healthy, But this week, it's Driscoll's team. He joined big Alan Jo Jo yesterday and said, moral victories don't mean anything. It's all about wins and losses. Yeah, I went in there and make some plays. I mean, at the end of the day, it's not about how hard you play or anything like that. It's about getting wins. And we didn't do that moving forward for however long I'm in there. I plan on giving him a chance to win and, you know, making a few more of those plays. You don't have to look back. And if we would have made one or two more place that might have been a different outcome. Brothers did make a couple roster moves yesterday, officially putting Why does your Courtland Sutton on injured reserve again? "And we'll get through it all the ghastly special teams blunder by Atlanta Campbell Ross, exchanging haymakers and highlights Josh and become a star. Her cousins of mess Brady bounces back, Herbert Flash in Big issues, and Philly will get AIDS robes for the Lakers. Bryson to Shambo forever Changing golf batik story is the bloodbath of injuries to some of the Biggest names in the sport. What? Ah, we'll never forget. Yesterday put it that way. Now. It felt like every other break as I was watching this on the red zone, Scott Hanson's hopping on and things breaking news from Denver drew lock is that with concussion that was the tameness of them don't want her to shoulder. I mean our shoulder with the shoulder. Somebody else went out with a concussion. You know, obviously the sake one issue was the biggest one for me As I was watching that Giants game and he tears his A C L around this kind of knew it. Right away. You can see the subjection of his Negro Fours like on and you hate that for him, But it wasn't just him. It was Bruce Irving just came down that Seattle Seahawks linebacker. He tore his A C L. The Baltimore Ravens had one of their cornerbacks, the highest paid nickel back then football. He tore his A C. Courtland Sutton. Courtland Sutton. He tears his A C l. Both Nick Bosa, not Nick. For the San Francisco 40 diners. He tears his a seal on the MetLife turf, which we'll get to in a little bit as Kyle Shanahan and others have been ripping it, and they got to come back there and play this week against the New York Giants. But, bt I gotta ask this question yesterday. A lot like how is this happening? And why is this happening? Why are so many of these players Getting hurt in a serious injuries and we're not even talking about I mean, there was a half of a handful of guys that tour kill ease in the pre flight before they even know stepped on the field. Yes, and everybody wants to point To the lack of preseason and into an extent, they're probably right there to get your body. We talked about it before Calista. You know what I mean? You you lifted weights all the time. You're grabbing heavy rocks your hand You get used to it. After a while. It doesn't hurt anymore. My hands are callused. You kind of got to get callous to play in the game. Of football on the professional level, because how violent it is, so that's one part of it. But I think the bigger issue Beatty is was the off season or the lack of all season Because, remember what happened back in March players all of a sudden, we're no longer allowed to basically leave their houses. Some of them had workout facilities in their gyms. Maybe they would go to a gym or whatever it may be, but they weren't working out with their strength and conditioning Coach is for their teams, right And these guys aren't just hired because They look good, and I don't know and coaching short since been in tank tops. You know what I mean? The's guys have specific programs that they're that they're using to develop the body's specifically for football. Now, these guys couldn't do this the entire off season. It was all virtual meetings, but nobody talked about what these guys were doing. I'm sure guys, we're staying in shape. But when you're staying in shape by yourself like in your gym to doing the beach workout, and one of the orders are going to run up and down ST sprints up and down the street. That's that's It's not the same program that these guys were used to doing. So all of a sudden. You get the training camp and they begged for this acclamation time, which they get. It simply wasn't enough. I think I think guys maybe got strong and fit. But not functionally strong and fit. And as a result, we're seeing the result of it come these first couple weeks of the NFL season. There's theories out there. I'll certainly take that. It's passable. It makes sense. But and by the way we left out the Caffrey who thank God you know, for Carolina, not his. Don't think it is. As a Barkley or Bosa. But you know, 4 to 6 Weeks got Jimmy G high ankle sprain. He got Davante Adams tweaked his hamstring. Believe Coker, safety for the Colts, his Achilles shredded he's done for the year. Colts defense is great. By the way, I told you that defense is gonna be awesome and that Cole's defense is awesome, but I don't even if you're right, and you probably are OK, but there's really nowhere to distribute. Blame outside of maybe the turf at Met life, which we will hear. But it's a pandemic. It's it's the strangest most, you know, obviously depressing. But, yeah, strangest, most disconcerting year any of us has had collectively In our lives, So it's not against the NFL's fault. Like I can't look at the NFL and say well, They should have done this to ensure that that didn't happen. Not agree that way. You can't see it that way because everybody's life was disrupted. The NFL is just seeing it in a for a lot of its stars, and I don't think blame is the conversation because you're going to spin around. You know, endlessly trying to assign blame, change anything, and exactly is not gonna change anything. What you need to look at is what does this mean going forward? All of a sudden, there's a lot of teams that have lost valuable pieces of what they needed. To win. Not that the Giants were gonna win. But if they were going to start developing that culture that we all want to see you be reinvigorated there. And Joe Judge you needs a Kwan Barkley, who's been your captain for two years, by the way he's on his third year, but he was a captain last year. Now he's out, and that hope and optimism that Daniel Jones and this offense of line would build around him is gone now. Interestingly, they played pretty well afterwards on almost won that game against the Chicago Bears actually had a shot. With, you know, seconds left in the game to win it. So there is there is still hope that they're not going to fall apart because they lose their their star player, and that's a testament to their coaching. But I think I agree with that. By the way, I don't think they'll fall apart like Yeah, I think they'll still fighting. I think they'll be competitive. I think you're right. But think about like, why you tune into games that you're not. If you're a Jets fan, you're going to need to watch the Jets as bad as they are. It doesn't matter, right? If you are a NFL fan and say Quan Barclay was your first picks that can pick up your fantasy draft or you use him and daily fantasy. Whatever it may be all of a sudden, there's a there's a tick that's gone away. Rides like Yeah, I can't watch him anymore, or Jimmy Garoppolo or whoever it may be the stars and they go down it. It doesn't hurt the nature of the game. But it hurts the the publicity of the game. And it's just it's I think there's a there's a There's a There's a psychological side that gets damaged when all of the stars a lot of the stars that we know aren't playing any more. You know, along that along those lines here. This is a real quick aside..

"Speaking of which I can't think of a better way to start this second hour. Then by going To the phone line. That is where Joe joins us. Wants to talk about the Titans Broncos game last night. Good afternoon, Joe. What's on your mind? So ran the biggest perspective that I got from watching the game. Which is one of the few games actually got the watch was If the Broncos could find a way to put points on the board after they get Bri ng this vehicles. It could easily win that, even if they bring the team down the field and kick field goals themselves. They need that offense. Pick it up. They have a lot of talent. You know, just from watching from a fan perspective that they can be really explosive. I mean, with Sutton coming back. Let's see if he can find a way to stay healthy. They got plenty of talent there. Defense played great, and it was be excited. Especially without bomb. Miller that defense look pretty stuff. Thank you for the call Joe. Great point on the broncosoffense, and I think that's what you have to look at. Where you're most disappointed. I mean, Joe is Clearly more optimistic about the Broncos chances moving forward than I am. But I think we both agree. That the Denver Broncos offense left a lot to be desired. And the injuries to Lindsay and Sutton, I get it. But there's one guy. That I don't know that I think is unaffected. By those injuries. You know if Cortland suntans out all the sun, and you saw this with Jerry Judy When he runs down the sideline. They give this safety help over the top. Okay, That's safety Help would go to Courtland Sutton. In a normal situation, everyone being healthy. So Courtland Sutton. Being in an hour and time out. KJ handler he KJ handler is going to be house money. Nice bonus. Whatever. My expectations on KJ handler of him being like this difference maker wherever I'm more focused on Sutton and Jerry Judy when it comes to wide receivers. Portland Sutton being out all the sun. Puts more attention on Jerry Judy. And from a times perspective, I don't understand why they didn't pay him Maura tension in the second half. Left him alone in single coverage to make moves in the middle of the field, and he had some big place. So son being out affects him. Lindsay being out affects Melvin Gordon. Sutton and Lindsay being out. Do not affect Noah faint. At least not To the extent that it affects the other skill players for the Denver Broncos. In 2018. Travis Kelsey. Was the Chiefs leading past catcher. In 2018. That was Patrick Mahomes, his first full season. Quarterbacking the Kansas City Chiefs last year. The leading receiver on the Baltimore Ravens in Lamar Jackson's first full season. As quarterback was Mark Andrews. Also a tight end. A tight end is a young quarterbacks best friend. And there are a few reasons for this, but primarily It's that you don't have to wait is long. For a play to develop for a tight end. Much shorter passes generally. And if a quarterback doesn't have to wait is long for the play to develop, then He doesn't have to think a cz much You could just react CIA guy throw it to him. So that's beneficial for young quarterback and then also, if you have a good tight end Your tight end is a physical mismatch. On anybody. Too big for a safety too quick for a linebacker. The Broncos have somebody that presents those kind of matchup problems from a physical standpoint in no offense. And in the first half, he was really good. And then in the second half He disappeared. Unofficially, one target. The entire second half. So what possible reason could there be? Forn turning Noah Fant into a decoy. Basically In the second half. Here's Ah Big Fangio. On that subject. Clip number three, please. Well, we had a couple three and outs there. Which you know if you get three and outs you're Not many people are going to get many targets with was a big problem, So I probably a product of that more than anything else. Um I'm just I'm going to throw this out. It might be I mean for Sometimes I get I get Accused of participating in hot Take Caree. That I say things counter to conventional wisdom and order. Tio engage my audience. And gain more of an audience. And I fully admit, before I say what I'm about to say. That this could be Ah, hot. Take But perhaps Vic Fangio and Pat Shurmur. To think about throwing it to Noah Fant on first or second down. I mean, you're leading receiver. In the first half again. I have coach no level of football. I am not an expert on the great game. I have not spent 30 years. In the NFL like Vic Fangio. I have not been the head coach. Of an NFL team like Pat Shurmur has, but I feel like If you say you had a lot of three an ounce And that is the reason why you could not get no a phantom or involved in the second half. Maybe. Just maybe..

"I guess we'll do you can take do you believe Courtland Sutton will remain on this list into next year do you think the Broncos might utilize one of these other receiving weapons I would be very surprised if it wasn't so Courtland Sutton as that guy I mean your device J. Adams is the guy that we talked about it on that shows up on this list and maybe it's it's really clean my mind because you're having done so so much work respectable gains back the always on there but the odds in the red zone it's like something that gets brought up every single week that there ought you know it's just like if you pick what about dads in the red Sox and I'm not sure the Cortland Sutton doesn't have that potential and maybe actually increases with some other options they're like you know because juries you need a good route runner because no offense maybe can all the sudden develop and take that next step defenses can focus a little less of Cortland Sutton and you have the opportunity to get him in single coverage a little more and then when you do have that we have that situation you look across the water across the board your cords Nassim coverage I'm going there right and so maybe it's the you know I think it's something that has happened with the falcons a little bit where they forced it to go away I would never want to force it to a guy in the situation so when you have other options that draw the media attention you don't have to force it you can let that guy be what he should do which is a red lobster I think what that has the potential I'm not sure what you got yeah I you know you said you don't wanna for so you don't want the Randy ratio but I'm here for the Cortland quotient cool while you're on it you you you guys are pumping out names for things at a very it's a very good right yeah I I'd rather you not encourage him it's like feeding the animals the zoo you're just not not really encouraged to do it so if you you build as you go up too much you realize I have in a couple hours with this dude right I wiped out but again using local baby sits the kids you know one night so you said the court finally in the back to you after hopping about blood sugar hits act here you go amber is the weaker terms of gear yeah the next the next night you're trying to put the kids in bed not able you know uncle band you love have iSeries I would love to my life with you well I will live with him yeah I wanted to go live with him be like five hundred pounds all right he listened George great always to have young men thanks we'll talk to next Wednesday Hey they can't drive yeah your story at PFF underscore George from pro football focus yes on the text line bet is right if you look up Kovin tan a lot of tweets about a pop up who knew I guess better what was that I'm sorry I missed the first three words that you're saying there could you read that text by just the first year or so you can read Ben is right I believe it was something like that could quite hear you it's nice to hear how like this one your guys show is a joke five foot four five nine journal it we're not that short sideline reporters making things up like they are D. coordinators are quarters you guys never strapped up will bid actually bloody idea did and if you want to you know you're welcome to come out try to cover me anytime text I. Who Will Be the Broncos Defensive MVP in 2020?
"Said we do have a poll question up right now at KOAA Colorado on Twitter who will be the Broncos defensive MVP in twenty twenty von Miller drill Casey Bradley Chubb Justin Simmons right now von Miller winning this poll Bradley Chubb is you're right there so pretty close I voted for Bradley Chubb by the way okay I voted for Justin Simmons the only because he sees the field the entire the entire season and I I really think you even thinking badly troubled well they they see the field was a ninety percent just the same as a hundred percent I mean pretty much yeah so I mean we're we're splitting hairs I I actually think there's argument for all all four of them I think there is I think you'd even throw in like I said Kareem Jackson I think we can have a argue about Todd Davis will likely leave we can at least leave the team in tackles there's there's there'll still be harassed kit comes away with with big plays batted passes I mean there's there's probably argument for anyone of these guys yeah other then then yeah I I could totally understand that just and you know he's good for the show and you know I enjoyed enjoyed talking to him from time to time but I'm not you know I I look at and and you know we're all big fans Justin Simmons B. last year before all this went down I was like he's going to become a household name by the end of season sort of maybe all pretty but you know I look at these guys and I'm just for my own personal thing and they have a bounce back season knowing how Bradley Chubb is is kind of Courtland Sutton on the defense enters the attitude work ethic all that kind of stuff and he was where it was interesting get to talk to both those guys a buffalo wild wings last year because it felt like it was kind of a new unified narrative between the two you know Courtland brother has sent a lot of the same things very similarly it's interesting because they're off the side of the ball so it's it's it would it was kind of fascinating to you know to see two guys have the same approach would be different sides of the ball that aren't necessarily in the same same meetings and

"On Twitter that today's Courtland Sutton day here in Denver you're gonna have to sell through no okay you're going to have to help me with the ruse no I'm not good at this you're so good at this so not good he just told me you'd best poker face and all of my heart well I I you know I was trying to brag a bit but you can't see my face on the radio yes just you're gonna have to find another way go deep dig deep on this one then a method we have to go method okay great great dig deep I mean you're already dressed as an old man today I'm assuming that you can play the role of Benjamin allbright with your ego and dressed like an old man I've got I got a V. neck T. shirt on is kind of a detail to it it'll it's plunging there's a plunging neckline they're listed know that it is old man undershirt keep going we're going to be a teacher Enix gene that is some tennis shoes on this this green thing that this this is that I got a wish after like five Bucks the screen soft cozy abhorred on it and it's just casual no no and then you slept on the glasses little while older a little while before and there was a moment there was a moment where he's like looking back at his phone in the looking forward and looking like it it happened so I need you to get into the method of yes I'm dressed like an old man but I'm still gonna bring scorching takes tonight well I bring the water to put out the scorching takes but always I would you know sort of object with hot flame thrower radio guy man well you changed up or sit here making fun of those guys nine items we do in the station we also have George story coming up in the next segment we're going to have hall of Famer Kurt Warner also course with NFL network by mature at Kurt thirteen Warner and Shelby Harris who's got a little bit of hot water with raiders fans after what he said on our program Broncos country tonight I am sure that Shelby will be very upset with the fact that raiders fans don't like it well he's just been basically having to deal with all the nonsense because they went and grabbed the segment he did interview with Alexis Perry out and showed up on our TV show Broncos country tonight a minute he kind of took some shots he took some liberties it was great actually was great this creek TV I mean I can't remember exactly how the quote went but Alexis was asking about the new stadium and about the fan base is showing up to watch Vegas and he kind of said yeah well I mean actually I kind of think that that's going to be an opportunity for other fanbases to show up and watch these games could be a destination but he's right I mean theres lazy about old people were gonna send from Denver out to Las Vegas to see the game I'm sure he's super upset the team that drafted him and gave up on him and their fans don't like him see that is what I actually want to talk to me about is is this kind of the deep seated stuff is he always going to have this relationship with the raiders and it shows a Bronco don't you want that well I do not I I absolutely do something because we always want the players to give us this kind of stuff but I'm thrilled that he did that like that's awesome make a bold but Voldemort you're you're the better team you should win that you single handedly won the game against the in the season last year so thank god they did they that's months of bragging rights and if I was Shelby Harris I would just have that clip gift and just sit there just actually we might play that come I will just check with that back every time yeah I'm not I'm submit some raider fan complained about me I would just send that gift in a tweet back to them what a fine that sound bite of Shelby Harris actively ending the raiders season yeah what will never like that coming into a lot of a lot of fun so shall be ours will join us in the all his fun fun personality always gonna be great the doctor Shelby I hit us up on Twitter at Albright NFL at or Edwards radio station at K. way Colorado we're gonna put a poll question here a little while we we missed it last night would be K. about Billboard will sort of subtly slipped in the Broncos were in on Tom Brady and so it's one of those funny things like there's that morning edition rugs get time no no we want somebody don't nobody don't want somebody but we asked John Elway there are some online it's a night what happened yeah they're not they're not going to somebody what he say it but you know we'll borrow yeah what gives some bad info with the longer I'm in this business the more I realize that there are guys that keep their trust single sourced information that is not accurate you know like Albert Breer had some comments that I know are not accurate about your bowls bee on the block and about them personally Jason Peters neither which is true you know and then if you've got this particular set up which is odd because we know that they were not pursuing Tom Brady John Elway basically laughed the question off at the combine so well you know if it's Tom Brady of course you take the phone call but we're happy with which would lock and it was kind of got a murmur from the media that was assembled in front of it because either way he was so dismissive of even go even trying to go after Tom Brady that they are all in on lock at the time and he said that the me put that out there he started told everybody there all and unlock it you said you still had you know hot take radio go out maybe they can't do in all the the get somebody feel like maybe they need Andy Dalton their way you know I do whatever it is for you Mr went on and the dog unfortunately ridiculous ridiculous things you need to get get some nerds out there trying to get James Winston brought in here yeah who's ever say that what would you do it right it was doing listen that argument was well if you've got a case to court or one that you can get enough interceptions in the color era you needed James to come out here I see this is this for me it was a color is starting I don't think James would be your starter through lectures donor why bringing because you're over sixty two percent of the team go to the back of quarterback and I happen to think this team is good are you on the other hand you for whatever reason I don't know if this is your chief heritage if you think the Broncos are gonna be crap without gridlock and that they'll be vying for a top five pick next year so I'd rather have a little bit better quarterback play behind drew lock knowing that a list of drug goes down that's okay big keep this thing on the rails for a little bit before July can come back stronger bust for me and after like is he in the Broncos make blouse in my opinion if he's out there a top five pick and that's that's just my opinion on it and to be honest with you I I don't want to stop gap in between there I do wanna be all in on get the playoffs or all in I get the traffic wonder how a veteran like Shelby Harris or von Miller think about that I would what I mean if I were to buy with them I would say we know that's probably we have the answer that off the record and that's not going to help you just for commercial breaks but you know who yeah but that was then this is now okay and I was out of season older for world we actually live in a different world and when that happened when I know the reference you're making your call home when that happens that was before he'd even played yet yeah so we're foreign one when he came in looking pretty damn good right so I don't know what your trying to stir up here me I could never you could ever did you try to like have an off air conversation on air is to try to sneak it into your ridiculous all right three oh three seven one three eighty five eighty five is our phone number fuel his up any questions you have common concerns that sort of thing so there were some positivity about the Broncos well are we gonna talk about the elephant the room you looking old well if we're gonna talk fashion we gotta talk you forms that were released today I mean what I would have the right you see those hideous uniforms yes your first I thought like Best Buy in the rams so it looks like it was like this the the good the bad the cut out of the guy where the uniformed like I feel like this guy should throw some khaki pants to try to sell me a salad bar see what it was it is about bye uniform and that's not even the worst year for both the bold white ones the Highlander stripe it's not great so you know I'm I'm I'm with you I don't know what else to say here Ben it's not great but I also Jennifer was really my thing like I don't I'm not getting into an action guy no not really so so what happens is there was like oh this is hideous and I'm like I mean I don't care like you know it's so we said this on Twitter I don't forget who said listen if they're winning nobody cares that that's ultimately what matters to me but people do want to rail on the rams I will say that I thought the Chargers uniforms for more statically pleasing I had to pick a uniform for your Ryan Edwards flag football team which one of the new uniforms would you have lit on fire and not even considered well none of them had the rams Unifor it's okay to just beside the right answer right answers the rams uniforms socks socks out loud I should not omit carpenter jeans so I don't know that's what I need I need like an alternate uniforms got like a weird denim thing going on are you which one was worse the falcons the rams the rams the falcons uniforms are as bad as everybody says they are you don't really care for the gradient but the rams uniforms are terrible that font looks like some kind of ridiculous Walmart fought for the numbers well what about the fact that the falcons ripped off the longest yard I mean there are worse things to ripoff thank you could have ripped off the soccer jerseys from Qatar like the rams did yeah their rates it's not great but I don't yes there's a high tech for me here I don't know if I care it's not great but the only thing I thought of that I I responded to your because they have the patch for the little squiggly thing up there or try to get used to it on uniform advertisement right like a great can years character for mistreatment when all said and done and didn't you know yeah this galaxy logo sit right down her response to the station I don't know as coca Cola I don't know your price W. tell either way so sure RC Cola whatever search Dr thunder Dr you go forward over your talk that's it that's probably already there ten minutes ago but yeah but yeah I I just thought that I thought I thought I saw a Best Buy when.

"Around eleven points per game as a floor around six points but once every three or four weeks you're GonNa get thirty or twenty five you know so that state this one I anyone have a strong feeling on this one the gophers I'm Gonna I'm GonNa hit it I just because I think it's obvious on honestly I'm GonNa be surprised if you guys have any different crazy about the guy on I'm not like super crazy about him I how if these guys switch teams I would pick Brita Yemi like I like brindamour just as as the player we're he is changing a team's mind and they are giving him seventy one boy I on of the running back opportunity like he is part of it too though is with Sam darnold coming back I don't think he's going to be utilizing the passing game like he was a he only saw one target last week which is insane because he saw nine ten targets like maybe they give him the ball twenty five times down the stretch because that's what they wanna do that he's he's nothing special I mean he's he's got rushes this year than carry on does God from volume series it's frustrating getting because honestly if I didn't think San Francisco had the best offense of line in the NFL it would be really easy to even put Sony headed Brita here because the ages he gets you catch the ball a couple of times a game and they've been gone to a little more it's true it's true and you know if you find the end zone he can have those twenty point game which he he found the end zone against Washington last week and you know running and catching and I mean he's got three rushing touchdowns last year he's I haven't been terrible man he's I'm telling you right now they're too young one that were wrong we got this backwards Sony's number one is some people here thanks the problem with Sony though besides being a plotter is is that he's only getting forty seven percent of opportunity there like James Wyatt is going to continue to get opportunities going to get red zone touches he even gets goal-line touches occasionally rex burkhead right now as out that I don't think he's going to stay out when he comes back he will be another person taking away touches high-value touches what I'm taking from this episode guys we are arguing about running backs a lot and we're kind of cut and dry the wide receiver as we feel the receivers have nothing to debate and the the running backs are a source of contention it's true that has been interesting if that's anything I've learned from this self while being a part of it so we are debating running backs heavy and why was he was like yeah this guy that guy that guy and that's it interesting it's interesting let's move to the next topic though quarterbacks residencies in three names on here darnold cousins and Gov anybody feeling foggy if not I'll go for you know I I would say darnold the most exciting out of this group Darnold really well ten yards per attempt in week six you know like that's that's exciting golf to me is just another he's a very pedestrian quarter back you know he peeks out around a yards per attempt were darnold was around ten but he's also goth can give you those those big volume weeks where he throws ball sixty times and so that's what puts him ahead of cousins for me even though I think cousins is a good quarterback game script of him throwing the ball forty fifty times is never happening. Golf is your Willfuller of quarterbacks well no because I think we'll it was good at being a wide receiver production-wise scoring-wise fancy boys wise big yeah right right he can write exactly you're right there yeah I haven't rank darnold cousins off I don't hate that I mean I'm excited for the duration darnold fund man I'm excited that he's back I'm glad he's back because he's a fun one to watch and he gets things going there the other wire other quarterbacks you know with wet when we just consider weapons it's like yeah man like he's got everything he's got anything a quarterback had asked for out of the weapons I mean and he can do it too is yes I think he's a good quarterback Adam your silent over there man yeah I'm just waiting for you guys to be done being wrong because having Sam Darnold at the top this list is just more of this fantasy community talking up a player that hasn't ever had the production to warranty I don't I don't I don't WanNa fight this week for you want I kind of do what Kinda do we'll bring man everybody wants to shit on Jared Goff like the rams were off last week but the San Francisco is what no one expected San Francisco to be which is potentially the best team in the NFC from what I've seen so far which is flabbergasting when you look at what they have on offense between the tackles they're just they're so dominant offense and defense outside of that though jared goff is perfectly seventeen points S. four weeks like what are we talking about he he is the is what you want from Sam Darnold like a great game from Sam Darnold is what we saw last week and he put up twenty three fantasy points so ultimately jared goff is every week what we think Sam Darnold is on this great comeback week so I think that that gets thrown out right away one who has potentially the highest ceiling of the group on a weekly basis is kirk cousins I mean because of what he has in those wide receivers when they decide to throw the ball he has the potential to have huge games I think for me Darnold is last on this list like an honestly I don't even think it's that close and then it really becomes to me a question of from just play calling philosophy standpoint the vikings are going to allow kirk cousins to throw the ball because when they do with the exception of you know the game against Chicago every other game where he's been able to throw the ball he's been really productive for fantasy and you know he's sneaky as a rusher as well it already has one rushing touchdown of the season so he gives you that element as well honestly I think I'd probably lean golf slate really just because of the offense and just because of their willingness to throw the ball more which the vikings shoot at the beginning of this year that they might come the winner bunch shellback up and just start being this crazy twenty-five thirty Russia temp you know team hand in the ball off to jail and cook But for me you like I don't I don't think darnold is even in this question yet of these two guys I think these guys are like low top twelve to like top fifty team quarterbacks I think Donald stolen like the twenties for me he's there he's there last week he was Cuba nine is first week back yeah I mean what rookie year he gave you one gave you down the stretch to QB one games and it's a it's a one week sample against the Dallas Cowboys team that's falling off has shitty QB Rodney throws interceptions all the time he had a back through all of these still producing for fantasy I don't care what I'm watching on that he had twenty fantasy points on sixty eight tips I mean that is that is really hard to argue with I would put it cousins ahead of darnold especially if the vikings switch over here and go you know the last two games is cousins system the ball lot he's doing touchdowns he's been productive if they stay on that path then cousins is the easy one like I said he has the best weapons no question but when you when you consider that Mejia's bail on that sir run the ball ten attempts and Shit and you go you're worried and Donald throw the ball there's to me there's no question about that offense to throw the ball I it's just the way it is so I like how you can put cousins anywhere I wouldn't really argue with you but I think he's going to have to have a touchdown week to make it back up to QBC again like you to seventy eight yards get the fuck Outta here number one on this list your craziest Shit I have no idea what you think so they wanNA fight annecy quarterback past years hey guys guess what he's the best fantasy quarterback of this group so far this season on points per game basis and on a seasonal basis so I don't know why we're having this conversation except for that you guys WanNa talk up a guy who had one good week in his first week back which is great great for Donald but the idea that he continue to produce like that to me seems crazy goffin's Gig off adhere listen listen Adam transition again I'm a transition transition in nicely today jared Goff has the least fantasy points per game of these three what are we talking about my looking at the wrong thing here might be I might be I'm if you look at the quarterback with this shitty completion percentage shitty interceptions Shitty quarterback rate and now b gough the guy he's had a really rough seas and I'm not gonNA act like Yasim but at the same time hitting on my brandin cooks what is he doing Robert Woods had a run in a touchdown for God's sakes the other week because doing to these wide receivers having to run the ball run the ball this is horrible it's terrible all right anyway we're all over the place on those quarterbacks you guys figure it out cousins to me Darnold Goth is last I wanna cut this is nuts Hey we almost argued about quarterbacks running backs guys congratulations we all deserve an applause for that all right let's move over to the not so obvious flex lock of the week funny that you put Darnold last but your flex lock last week was his wide receiver because you knew what he can do you know you wanna play the other side today Last week I had Gus Edwards womp womp Wa Josh had Presser Williams Murray is don't want or the guy here who's talking so much shit today is probably because he jamison crowder last week for the missing crowder had a good week Adam congratulations you won your first flex lock of the week your first one thank thinks I'm just glad somebody the report by that one of US had a good action this week it's nice when at least one of us can do that I think Adam and actually one another week that it was a week where he said nobody win and I think that that is true there can be weeks no one it's even if one of us scores is there if the recommendation is someone that you had in your fantasy lineup you'd be like oh well that's disappointing for that player then yet it just got to be honest with yourself but you know since since I took down last week I'll throw it off this week with a I think a name that it's going to surprise you guys 'cause I don't know I think it's kind of a fun pick it it's a gigantic matchup play.

"You know I actually have some I have more at least one team I know that for sure but I didn't expect this to happen you know he's been so consistent he's had tons of targets obviously he's a big body guy and flacco trust them But I actually put McLaren I I just feel like I don't know man when you watch him play you're like this kid is special I don't know if he is he's like it's the route running in stuff is just it's amazing when you watch him you're like Oh like you they know they're going the ball's going to him and they just cannot stop it and I'll make and as a rookie I guess just Roese to me like how good he is so he's he's my number one rest of the season out of these three guys Fuller's lasts just because of the ups and downs and and Sutton I feel like consistent and he's going to be this way the season as long as he stays healthy that you know I put them out put them behind McLaren just because of the explosive huge plays and the fact that the redskins are going to have no choice but he got the ball and it doesn't seem like anybody can stop them so he's my number one for the rest of the season you know I'm really curious to see Washington continues to do a quarterback this year 'cause them going to Colt McCoy for one game and then going exactly back to case keenum is so weird and then keenum's hopping bad I mean he's been pretty good honestly and he's been great for McLaren Amon really if you just look at case keenum games maclaurin is putting up a minimum of seventeen points in a maximum twenty nine so keenum is doing great things and you know what we saw him do great things when he was with the Viking those receivers it's almost like he's not a bad quarterback yes I agree that's what I was saying but yeah my biggest problem is going to be I don't think he starts all year and what happens when they let the rookie takeover and you know I think we all WanNa have high expectations in that being said it's very hard for just somebody come into the NFL and be able to continue to feed wide receiver to this level production so that would probably be my biggest concern in the long run is just if case keenum remains the starter they're awesome if awesome though I have questions for you know like I think to have a case keenum come in and play well you actually have to have like in a decently functioning system for that quarterback to be a part of and so if if that's the case and Dwayne Haskins comes in and camp function what does that say about him. I mean one game is too soon to judge a rookie but if we see like two or three more games from him that look good at all after case keenum is fine I might I might be concerned yeah for sure and you know I'm always quick victory lap McLaren as a guy I have zero shares of zipped zero and I mean all echoed this I don't have anything of me Florent I don't have any sudden I don't think drafted either of them in like any best ball leagues Sutton in like two out of one hundred and eighty so yeah it's these are guys who were not on my radar but definitely I mean you have to adjust and they're phenomenal India fast and if you acquire them or if you own them I mean you got it be starting them it's also one of those things being a raider fan of Demi crazy with the whole ab situation is like the raiders may have drafted a guy like maclaurin if they didn't have ab like veteran didn't now before the draft like you would assume they would have been forced to make a play for a wide receiver in the draft. I just like imagine if they did get a guy like that I mean like God man fucking Ab haunts me fucking haunts me guys all right enough of this shit let's move on to the next position so we feel different arlos guys as awesome running back rest of season another low interest in grew up here together we have Sony Michelle we have carry-on and we have Brita who wants I have a carry on Brita Sony Michelle I think it's pretty evident y carry on is getting the work he's not doing much with it has been pretty pretty lake is pretty average you know between eleven and nineteen points each of the last four weeks nothing spectacular but it's getting the volume two games with over twenty Russia's still seeing you know three and four targets a game so he's being utilized in the passing game enough that he's able to kind of boosters production there and he's really all that's there since they got rid riddick's so I feel like Thai Johnson's getting a little bit of work there but overall carry on has the largest workload of the three now for me Brita honest Lee is number two and I think that's kind of tough because I coming into this year I really like Sony Michelle as far as a player that would get better down the stretch approach so it's tough when you're looking at the rest of the season I love Matt Brita and a super explosive and we've already seen from one game this year that he can blow up and have huge fantasy performances and he's never been bad I mean this is a guy who each of the last four weeks has had a floor of ten points which is good we were talking about with carry on but memory to produce a thirty point game carry on ceiling has been nineteen points over that stretch so my concerns of Matt Breeder Just Volume needed I don't think they ever give him more than fifteen touches or I'm sorry fifteen carries in a game but overall it is far as it's Taco I mean I could see him getting up to twenty if they target him more than they have been but they're cycling the running backs they're a lot so I can't feel as confident him just from a workload standpoint and Sony is really the disappointments may which is just it's tough I mean he's going to be someone who's going to be super game script dependent and it's GonNa be you know those two touchdown games that are going to be phenomenal but outside of those hundred yard touchdown games or those two touchdown games he does nothing in the passing game and it's talk to rely on them I wonder if you switch their their teams if you Swish Kerryon Johnson to the niners Breda till lions would you still feel that way Kerryon as a forty niner would be bananas so you think I think the exact same thing because they only give him fifteen touches like the thing is it's all related to touch it's all related to value the idea that a player is gonna come in and just be like this phenomenal thing there's so few guys like that like even the panthers before McCaffrey became what he is they wanted to limit him that's what fell teams always wants to do so I think it's so few and far between the guys are actually going to have these you know ma I think that's will as a fantasy owner that's always what you want you want to try and identify who can be the next you know huge workhorse running back but I don't think we're good at it honestly I mean I really don't with the exception of Dalvin Cook this year sure I feel like the majority of players the people wanted to have these huge workloads Aaron Jones's the carry on Johnson's Derrick Henry is they're just not they're not going to get had it and I think that it's more a symptom of what the NFL is now. Yeah I was GonNa say you say Dobbin Cook like everyone's make fun of the Vikings for using dirt Cook like they are so it's like I don't know it's tough it's tough I never been a fan of Kerryon Johnson like everyone gets but like you said the touches carry on guests you just have to feel like you know for just playing the smart game here like Desa Guy you put in the spot you know number one just because the fact that you know he's getting the tushes but then again if he's not doing anything with touches does it really matter like if a guy does more with less he shouldn't be what we shouldn't like penn Elisa for that you know what I mean like I don't know if we if we just totally fade running back efficiency though and look at what the team is telling us about carry on like they cut C. J. Anderson they moved theoretical like carry on is doing that thing where why I don't think it's crazy to think that he could go somewhere else and create the same impression on another team no that that's the part that is crazy we need to stop thinking that running backs can go to other teams and produce I just I feel like we hardly ever see it like even Levian Velez and Ben. has Lebanon Bell Esq is he was on the steelers really mediocre so I I don't know I think that what we're seeing from Kerryon Johnson right now is going to be the best Kerryon Johnson we get it's just going to be a question of if the volume that they're giving him when giving him twenty five carries in a game I mean that's a huge value if he can transition that into production more than it has been because right now I mean you're not disappointed with Kerryon Johnson by any means but if you just looked at the workload up disappointed with that efficiency like I don't think we can really say that the efficiency is him with confidence now everything's in context with the to me the in Tex- matters more than the player because the player is never absent from the context I understand what Dan that like back to levy on bell you know he's got the number three opportunities share so I mean he did he went to another team and did the thing but he's also only got two touchdowns so that's where the context is just dragging him down. Yeah I think the last three weeks prior so I mean it's one game I don't want to overreact to one game but it is it is interesting that you know he is it being utilized in the passing game like that and even if you just look at you know darnold being there for week one is well in week one I mean he was targeted a bunch so it's very possible that that could move back up but just overall like his efficiency is a runner is just not really been there at all right now there's listeners screaming at his lead by DFS siege Sony Michelle's number one bell is slow Jordan Howard There's just not going to get the touches that Sony will at some point this in some point in the season Sony will start getting two hundred twenty two last week I know but I didn't do anything with it sounds like what's like that's the real question is will continue to be the type of production that we're seeing from him when he's getting that large workload.

"In practice that is identifying that he is not capable having that skill set they might all be wrong and the fantasy community might be right but it's just to me it's just it's not gonNA happen they both these things can be true like I think honestly all they see is Carlos Hyde weighs two hundred thirty pounds that's all that's it that's it and to not be that guy you have to be an above average NFL coach and there just aren't very many of them never led do Johnson Daij I asleep out man I don't want to beat this topic to death but I just think it Moore's symptom of it in the NFL running backs production is so much more related offense of line play and the overall efficiency of the offense and it really doesn't matter that greatly about who you stick back there except for these few multidimensional don't players that just kind of ascend like Christian McCaffrey outside of those type of players which I think a lot of people thought do Johnson could be but he's not shown that ever outside of those few like super athletes most of the rest of the NFL is just cycling. and guys and depending on how efficient offenses and how good their offense of line plays that's how well they're running backs too and that's why we're seeing it seemed like the forty niners to I'd probably Nate have one of the worst groups of running back talent are able to produce as the best running offense in the NFL no argument here let's move on let's move on do Johnson always causing a problem on this show man he's always dragging his out next guy in the only like another year or two is still in the league yeah Dirtier Thera thinking low blows that you at this point Josh is like yeah I hope somewhere online in this episode Joe Josh in his show you can combat this guy because he's just he's Doug I dug twice now Marietta and now do somewhere you gotta get him back and it's going to be Josh Golden Tate he's back he's not suspended he's making plays with a rookie quarterback targets Galore trust them or not I do trust him I I'd like this New New York giants offense and if they can get sake one back it's GonNa be fun I mean they've got they've got some interesting weapons especially this week I mean all ultimately you know anybody going up against Arizona is in a good game strip situation but with how terrible Arizona's benefits tight end I think the Ingram's GonNa go off this week I think Golden Tate's going to get a bunch of targets as well I think that really what damage us has been able to do for this offense it just kind of open it up and actually make it an efficient pass offense golden tate's always been that guy who's just a reliable target share guy and they went right back to them as soon as he was healthy so last week I think was kind of our first glimpse of what he's going to be able to do but ultimately moving forward I think that it's probably not going to be as consistent as we've seen container other teams because you have the presence of Evan Ingram but I think it's going to be just like a notch below that yeah so Goebel Tei had nearly the thirty percent target share on nine targets Darius lighten had more yards on him in more areas than him in week six but he had a horrible horrible racer so he's not converting his opportunities he's basically doing what Devante Parker does he just runs really far down the field get in a poor quality target and does nothing with it Evan Ingram is going to be there so that could be a problem for today but even with Evan Ingram Lang Knowing Week one benefactor had five targets playing in a shorter day dot kind of a role week to feller has ten targets week three it was sterling Shepard playing a low A. Dot role nine targets so I think that there's room ear beside Heaven Ingram for somebody like Golden Tate to be very very rarely ah I trust him I trust him as well I mean he's been relevant in the past you know other teams he's never been a a guy that like we didn't trust then and as you guys have mentioned with the targets with obviously guys aren't healthy changes things a little bit but you know he and he and he's a playmaker once he gets the ball I feel like the rookie quarterback is in on that I mean he's like hey I throw the ball other guys things only happen I thought it'd ball tate and he scores like it is what it is like can't ignore D- I mean a hundred percent I mean he's the best yards after catch player in the NFL in having that is gigantic acid for a rookie quarterback so yeah I think you are totally right there I I honestly I'm excited about going forward because I have a couple of teams that I've just kind of been waiting and it's nice to have some reliable 'cause some of those teams are a mess for sure all right good so we all trust take you see how quickly to move on and do Johnson isn't in the conversation the last Harlot side I'm not sure which of the two is really Ghazi issue but someone I be really curious to know if Josh love for Duke Johnson is greater than his hate for Carlos Hyde Surreal like like until now I've just thought like Carlos Hyde was a a you know a guy that does job kinda like that lunch pail running back underappreciated Ni- now is causing a problem for me but some of those guys end up with Hall of fame Resumes Gore all right the Alaska on our trust list for the week is Robbie Anderson Robbie Anderson went off his quarterback came back healthy and he just do Robbie Anderson does tell me if I'm wrong here you guys like to compare guys I like to find an equivalent don't someone to compare them to and I guess go ahead I know exactly go ahead it's we'll we'll polar hundred percent right funder percent player they even have dress it's man the highest rank games and they vanish and it's like the ability to explode any week like super high risk reward but like I take it ten times attend you know how much I love Fuller Robbie Anderson he's a cloned dude is the exact same player ultimate boombox skies I love him I trust them how do you guys oh go ahead does in twenty eighteen Robbie Anderson had four of these games with Darnold so that that's still something that can happen you know that he just happened to start out with one I don't think this is going to be any kind of regular level you know he he was avid that's that's who Robert Anderson is useful player. Yeah I mean Josh hit the nail on the head I think this is exactly what it's going to be honestly I would take this week is a big cit- Robbie Anderson Week because they're going up against New England New England loves to take down the number one options they loved to not allow you to stretch the the old so I think that this is the kind of week where I would look to sit Robbie Anderson but the hardest thing about players like hand like we'll folder you feel like you have to advocate your lineup every week because you know willfully offer fifty points like is so many people had that on their bench I it's just it's miserable because then you'll play them the next week and they'll put up five so it's tough honestly I only owning these people in best ball because that's us that's where the relevant like I'll draft all the Willfuller I didn't actually dropped nearly enough Robbie Anderson I probably should address it a lot more of him just simply because that's what they're made for his best ball because it's really difficult to predict the week so they're gonna go off and have these huge games but I think it's a lot easier to predict the weeks that there not going to have a huge game and I think that this might be one coming up okay so yeah I'd say I probably have trust issues long term just because I think it's going to be inconsistent Sir definitely fair all right so yeah I mean we are fans of Robbie Anderson just depends on the week new bigger fan and defense and that makes sense we think he's a Willfuller Clone oh I can't get enough of willful or man so they have to Willfuller hs I can't complain all right let's jump over to Amazon not Egmont let's jump over to rank them rank em Wrangham got some interesting list this week I decided to mix it up a little bit you know I'd like to miss picks up the ranks why were ranking them for what reasons this this week I wanted to go rest of season Kinda thing so like ranked y receivers for recipes in running backs recipe in Quebec recipes and other ethnic groups we put together here so for the wide receivers recipes and I'll let Josh start on it with the receivers that we have our sutton line of fuller a guy we were just talking about I put this group together because I feel like there's a little bit everything here you know we mentioned the risk reward Lurgan Sutton a guy who's kind of caught a bunch of people off guard by some people still don't like really believing her trust or or ignoring or whatever the case is An McLaren obvious for obvious reason and so Josh let us know how you rang I man Okay so I like Colin Sutton I you know he's he's becoming the dominant one receiver on that on that team even with Emmanuel Sanders there who you know is a very good wide receiver and twenty three percent target's share is getting forty percent the teams air yards he he's converting ninety percent of his air yards into receiving yards and he's doing a lot of that with yards after the approach but it just he's playing really well okay so for me Portland Sutton is is the one and then I had a debate with myself who over fuller maclaurin I came out with floor fuller ahead just because fuller has so many more air yards than terry the corn and I you know I also expect maclaurin to be less predictable as a rookie even even though he has done very very well I'm not trying to take anything away from him he's had a great season but just the their yards that fuller is pulling down makes him the number two than chlorine three for me Gob and it's really crazy how many targets willfuller has gotten with only having one game ten fantasy points like it's flabbergasting how many targets he has on the season I'm I'm not looking at like an added up total I'm looking by came by game and I'm trying to add it up in my head really quick here because I'm just I'm literally flabbergasted I feel like he's he's seeing already like sixty targets is just mind boggling 'cause he had that one sixteen target game but it looks like he's between fifty five and sixty targets by quick math essentially reason I bring that up is it's it's really interesting you pick these three players because I think they're very different in what they're doing for their offenses and it shocking they all have very similar target shares they all are not target shares but volume targets they're seeing very similar amount of targets per game with that in mind I feel like I've got up but will fuller at the bottom of this I mean he had that fifty point game that's insane that's amazing but the other five weeks you've hated having an under team and I think that the consistency is just not there where with McLaren and Sutton we're seeing a lot of consistency I think josh is right in the sense that I would put sutton ahead what son's been able to do on that team with Emmanuel Sanders there has really been surprised because many will sanders can become an Alpha number one wide receiver a team if they are devoid of one we've seen it before where he's able to step into that role all so for Sutton to kind of overcome that and be in that role feels like it's going to have more security and he's also not a rookie and it's oh tough for rookies in the NFL at the wide receiver position to really have these big breakout seasons I feel like I think what we're seeing from chlorine it reminds me so much what we saw from Cooper cop and I think that that really is pretty reminiscent of the way in which that I think he's seasons play out where I think maclaurin can still have a really productive season I just think sutton ceiling might be higher I love it I actually have a different group than all of you guys man so this is good I actually surprisingly shocker floor less I have fuller last on my list just like just like you Adam for the same reason because of the up and down right and I actually put Sutton second I Love Sutton.
"They can't I feel like they Tanna Hill is their best shot to win which is really interesting the wrong the wrong taking it really tannehill while me and tell us how how do you feel personally than about the weapons in Tennessee do you feel like this is going to hurt everybody do you think is going to just they're just kinda cassidy how they are ready you obviously don't think they're going to get better from the way you're talking here but do you think they're gonNa drop or do you think there's any kind of stay the same same I don't I mean I don't think that they're gonNA get a lot better I we've seen Ryan Tannehill like not being able to do anything with Kenny stills really or devante Parker who is terrible in his own right but Rantan hills just a very pedestrian quarterback and take Marcus Mariota was playing that poorly wuzzy dude that's a stretch I also like how you conveniently ignored Jarvis Landry just like I'll name all mighty go away like I I honestly think to Jarvis Landry credit like inequality back in the league could probably play with services injury fair you know he's not like a Willfuller that some quarterbacks would not be able to use yeah but I mean Infield Neil garage say like I mean the the last game you know he just just last week Mariota sucked obviously but other than that I mean I don't think there hasn't been anything like just production-wise like I think yeah seven touchdowns two interceptions not he's throwing the ball ton interceptions team they just have a shitty whether it's maybe it's just the record and that was it I don't know I mean he started off that I mean he played that game horribly so I can't imagine just one bad game as what is that they were rushing to this they couldn't wait for this to happen on that makes sense like he hasn't been bad like John Zarrella has meant horrible you know in a point where the the need to pull him this quick but I guess you know I feel like something they've been anxious to do for some reason yeah exactly this was a decision that they had already made and a found a reason to make it now I don't think that what has been happening actually warranted this India he's adds up non-performance three touchdown game against Atlanta he threw for over three hundred yards in a game but overall I mean like I said I feel like this is more a lesson indictment on Marietta and more than feeling positive about what they might have and Ryan how would I think is interesting I honestly when this happened this past week I just thought that was a move simply because Mariota was planning terrible in that game I I really thought they'd be going right back to them so I'm kind of shocked I mean honestly I I haven't looked through Mariota's -at's I'm going through game by game right now I'm Alyssa surprised I mean he's had two three touchdown games he said two games over three hundred yards I mean he's not playing awful but in the Games where they're losing he is like that that's really it it's kind of a jekyll and Hyde like performance where he he's having these good performances but then they're mixed in with these atrocious performances where he's thrown for a couple of hundred less than two hundred yards and not getting in the end zones no I think that you might be onto something with the idea that there were just kind of looking for a reason to move on from but I'm curious that reasoning is or we'll see obviously the titans have trust issues with Marcus Mariota like I pull that in there guys that's a called that's called the transition that's a Oh man it's like you're riding around on two wheels segue this just sorta professional man to such professional so for anyone who does care we don't think it affects anyone offensively and fantasy but obviously you know we'll see Tannen can do a Mariota did or better no no no I don't think anyone expects it we'll see how it plays out let's move over to trust issues the first player on this list I thought what creates friction for Josh Qasam issues because his boy feeling shaved yeah he should man the first point of this list is Carlos Hyde who John wants to hide from because he thought do Johnson should be the man in Houston and he's not he's simply not josh how do you feel about these he's like Neil wasn't saying the exact same thing you like putting it all on Josh like you have a talented Dude Johnson is light this elite where my Johnson shares I have none ooh This is just a coaching decision the right like running involve them is nothing more than a coaching decision and I think that there's legitimately a thing in the NFL just look at two guys and go that guy looks like running back yet because one of them's running back the other one is glorified wide receiver right so you're saying do Johnson got the same Carey's across high got he would produce the same way better even now like you're playing if you do Johnson Twenty six carries last week he would be out this week they were strong words gay even now yards touched Carla's hide four point three yards per touch the second overall duke seven point two yards per touch number two overall yards created precarious hide twenty fourth overall with one point four three duke it is better in every way okay hide to be fair is seeing heavier fronts but it's not a huge difference it's like he's just he's going out there and being fine and they're fine with fine and that's all it is it's just a coaching decision it's I don't I don't expect to change anytime soon because it's fine cut dude his outplaying him man jump in with a big trust over Carlos Hyde and I want to just throw out some numbers here so we were thrown out a lot of numbers and really the big talk here is in do Johnson verse Carlos Hyde so the numbers that I'm throwing out our seven Han eight and four those are Duke Johnson touches over the last four games he's just he's not he's not relevant it's just not gonNA happen in my opinion I mean except for these sparse games reasonable to find the end zone is irrelevant in my opinion fantasy now moving over to Carlos Hyde I mean I don't want to have the efficiency conversation at running back stop it this conversation is the stop and fantasy it doesn't matter what matters is volume it's what the whole game is predicated on we do we we are it's a stat ace game we're we're looking for people who can do stats the thing that correlates the most to those stats is volume is touches and that's what lows high is getting I mean over the past two weeks now we're seeing this tendency for them to just run the ball like crazy with Carlos god I mean you see an over twenty carries in last two games and overall in the last three games he seemed sixteen touches more so personally I feel like Carlos hides one of those players where because Houston's playing so well he's GonNa continually have opportunities to score and he's really became essentially what law Lamar Miller has been I mean he'd fit that role pretty much perfectly I mean the Houston Texans running back is never going to be this gigantic weekly producer but as far as some low floor guy who if he ends up didn't touch down at one hundred yards or he scores two touchdowns is going to be able to put up twenty point game that's what he is and you know have a lot of games where he's right around ten to fifteen in fantasy points and his lack of receiving is not going to be helpful and PBR leagues but if what you're looking for just a consistent ten fifteen points I feel so you're GonNa get that from Carlos side yeah I feel like he's a trust for me as well just in terms of a safe play you know like you're not gonNA look at him to win the Games for you withdraw so not GonNa look at him too loose games for you in a sense do who who do you guys trust more going forward the recipes and Karl Heider Jamal Williams why what Orissa Williams on my head right now I was curious why is no that's all all demo- Williams was was the little glimmer of hope that you can still trade for Aaron Jones Dynasty that's with that was that was now you have a one week window to try and trade for Aaron Jones honesty if you want to try it acquire him but yeah I think that that was mostly a fluke last night being just one of the most atrocious football games I've ever not watched I watched like five minutes of that game and I'm so glad 'cause sounds like everything that I missed it was just the worst they're the same thing though like they're drama Williams continuing to give volume is the same thing as Carlos high like it's just a coaching decision and I don't think there's any reason to thank Carlos sides workload is going away even though I think it should and Jamaal Williams is the same with less volume yeah I think it's dramatic weekly different because of the volume I think that's way more situation where coach like just likes using two running backs I mean we saw it with John Lewis and Derrick Henry in Tennessee like we kind of knew this was going to happen coming into the year I mean all last year it was pretty evident that Derrick Henry was so much better then Dion Lewis especially between the tackles and he just wasn't getting touches I think we're probably GONNA end up seeing that throughout the year with Aaron Jones well he's obviously the better player but the way the daily utilizing their running backs and they feel their most efficient is an offense is when they're cycling those guys so it's it's the same thing that we're seeing in San Francisco right now that's fair so okay so you trust them trust Carlos Hyde Adam I trust them Josh being what you think of Duke Him that aside do you trust Carla side the rest of the season yeah I think his workload will continue like it makes me want evolvement but it's going to continue all right so we trust them in a you know enough of a sense that It's it's kind of a way you sound carsick over there man you're like just the quotas do to do what does it it's true I think run between the tackles more than ten times the I think he could do it like just letting I would love for him to have still mad at any point but like how is he supposed to show the ability to run between the tackles more than ten times unless codes calls that play yeah I mean I get it like I get it is reliant on coach making a conscious decision but when we see year after year after year with players we cannot keep Spec n different coaching steps like that's the thing is it's been multiple coaching staff even on the same team even when he's on the browns he's gone through multiple coaching staff so now he's gone three different coaching staffs all identifying that he cannot be someone who runs between the tackles for more than ten times a game and yet people in the community are still arguing they can like I don't get it at at some point we just have to accept that these coaching staffs are seeing something.
"The kids I'm had that I'm talking dos and I'll talk to you guys next week thank you Okay hang on the phone when you say about her you are locked in to the dodgers I welcome to the there's podcast I'm your host Neal Women Today is Adam Your Adam was up it's going on war Ho that's a little Gangsta intro of you there man also joining us our Guy Josh Josh you guys will experience Joe here other ones the energy the of a ten year old who's like meeting friends at the park waving little handedly wave like it all the time I bet you do does the door can you imagine like Josh walking out during the morning go to work hey neighbor by I can see it I really try and show that's I've pitcher him the Number of twenty one pilots who ironically also named Josh is kind of known for always waving like a child it's really adorable but that's exactly what I pictured he's about yeah it's our Josh Mas- act so Adam like here people wave a lot by my mom lives up in Chicago go up there and like so I'll be running or just out doing whatever and if you make eye contact with somebody here you ways and in Chicago if you wave bowl they look like you look at you like you are a psycho why are you making eye contact with people like you look at people move around it's totally different in the city obviously group in the suburbs so I kinda grew up with that same mentality my dad's the type bill talk to anybody so I always was embarrassed that is the kid but then as I grew older kind of like saw why that's really a beneficial quality to having a person but it yeah it's weird living in a city because it's it's people overload that's what it is you're just seeing too many people all the time so if you did that you'd literally just look cycle at walking on the street the neighbor neighbor hi neighbor are you my friend and yeah people would think that you you have a problem so the alternative is just do the exact opposite of that which is no eye contact on focusing me my life what I'm doing nothing else matters what's hilarious when you like find a middle ground I have a friend who just introduced to me a really fun game to plan public transit which is trying the person who's dressed the weirdest and guess what if you actually do that on public transit it becomes really interesting the shit that you probably don't pay attention to there's a people dress weird as speaking of not talking to strangers I love to pull the whole like on the phone thing like I'm walking into story I don't want to talk eighty or one late not make contact with them like Oh yeah hey so you want me to have the time is here again I just have a cell phone out I'm talking to somebody and like really talking to anybody now we get it you don't give money to homeless homeless people you've got the girl scouts out there the boy scouts all of them all throw all of them a minute of my time to say no acknowledged and I'd rather fake a call the worst thing is when you're on the line checking out a night they're like oh it's like the donates don't want to donate today I don't want to donate like why do you have to make me feel like a piece of shit every time that you're like oh wait mom Tom what's going on is everything okay I've gotta run I'm sorry I can't donate right now I would but there's an emergency obviously you gotta get creative with stuff you can't just go straight not you know all you have to do is that really the true antisocial city technique you'll see it all the time it works flawlessly women are brilliant at it because they they need it a ted phones yeah you'd put on headphones nobody attempts to interact with you You actually one thing that I do and I actually menace to tons of people especially if you ever feel unsafe in a situation put in headphones and just turn them on it it's brilliant to just be able to listen to your environment and not have anyone feel like they can interact with you directly right kind of blue thing I know a lot of women in the city who do it a lot of friends who are females sue literally are the ones who I told that to me and then I've used it just because like for instance if you're just on public transit Lee at night and you don't want the person who's Kinda crazier Kuku next to you trying to gauge you WANNA conversation you don't have to actually be listening to anything but just having headphones owns and will cut down on the chances of that and also if you ignore that person who you don't want to engage with it doesn't seem brew it just seems like Oh you can't hear the name is our attention you to get your name let's give him the contact hold on hold on hold on while the shower now you were headphones I love how air pause now made me look crazy of where I'm at I I I like to key one of my ear sometimes I talk to people or listen to something another one's free and I whenever like I'm shopping or next to somebody there are you talking to me are you talking to yourself I might not talking to this person in my ear I hit my my Pottier at all I didn't even see you only see my ear that's free said thing I'm like crazy you're talking to myself so that'll keep people away from your also technique the bus without air pods who were next to you and having this really awkward moment where we're like that happened so much talking so much another reason that I always have headphones so I could just ignore whether or not you just cut that out entirely yeah sorry so before we jump into the content let me start this off they were not going to spoil the joker movie like every other podcast wants to do this week I haven't seen it beer that is weird I had that happen onto podcast yes like that's like the move this week she almost like it was game of thrones or something yeah so obviously some people say it sucked so he will say it's amazing I haven't seen it yet I don't know if you guys have but I haven't seen any that I really want to but yet you're right it's been very polarizing I've only heard those two thanks people like it's brilliant and then other people were like it's boring and stupid uh we'll see we'll see what Josh thanks we'll see what Oklahoma thinks when he gets around to it maybe it'll be his show until one week other than that this is going to be a good old episode man. The Democratic debate is happening while we're doing this because we don't care about our country so we're ignoring that if not to have it democratic debate this guy but if you haven't voted I mean if you haven't registered to vote you should definitely do that you think there's any listeners of this podcast who are not registered to vote what do we do eat Rollo's yeah none probably Fallon's ellison I dunno maybe we'll see but anyway last mentioned because it's not in our note it's or anything and I don't know I think it pretty much happened recently is Mariota's been benched ten hill is going to be the starter this week that's not really it's not really in our conversation Shen at all but I just felt like it was worth mentioning before we jump into it before we'd love to talk to you Mariota believers about this yeah it's interesting it's interesting right I know Trade Mariota Rachana Josh player profiler yet Josh I want you to speak both on behalf of yourself and player profile cop who I think arrange does like the number two dynasty quarterback last you know Mac Elliot's off his rocker sometime nobody should talk about this more than Josh because John also trading me like the first pick our draft next year for Mariota so no one should be talking about this does you make it sound so bad now this is what it is tell us about Josh what's going on understand I don't understand what they think they're gonNA get Outta Tannehill it's like it's like bringing in oh flocco after having case keenum not do well for here I would just ride Mary Odell and and see if it gets any better and replaced the drafted player the writing is finished with that I do not agree I'm honest really I am flabbergasted that it happened this early in the year as you guys remember in in our one auction dynasty league I completely putted on quarterback it was one of the quarterbacks it took I did that thinking Tanto might start the last two games of the season I never imagined that it would be the situation which Ashley makes me super excited for Tannehill because it makes me feel like they're they're more confident tannahill that I would originally let on this is a really early point in the ear to be turning over this is almost like the transition that you would see if tannahill was like an incoming rookie quarterback drafted in the first round not you know a quarterback to play for another NFL team for years So yeah it's really interesting I mean I'm I'm intrigued to see if Tanna token knew anything better in the office dense but but yeah I think Mariota's his career is going to be in Russia after this building somebody in the building DOC was ready to move on from Mariota Yeah I think that's really all it was I didn't think it was going to happen to like Magara got hurt or something I didn't think it was going to happen just like this quick millicent that I really didn't I even the whole you know change the ten hill at the end of the year I really didn't see the reason the reason for it you know like I mean at that point you might as well just finished it out Mariota and move on like I thought it had to be an injury that would that would pull this to happen and so I mean I honestly think the only thing that makes sense I'm sorry to interrupt but really the only thing that makes sense is they honestly think Tannehill is going to win them more games because right now they're in a position through two and three in that division the Texans and the culture three into the JAGS also two and three like it's it's neck and neck at this point it's not like they're you know some team that's completely out of contention just throwing in the towel.
