"Welcome to coincide with greenberg dockage in the south bracket where the number one seed is. Bela number two seaters iowa states. Let's get right into it. John gallagher wild and i like john gallagher. Head coach at hartford neighborhood. Man the neighborhood who here west hartford the neighborhood as the ultimate philly guy. John gallagher is the ultimate dilly guy. I've already got the text from. I've spoken is tipped off banquet a year ago. The dude is certifiably insane in a good way. What he no one is going to enjoy the ncaa tournament more than it. So as soon as they won they immediately went to indianapolis and starts to quarantine and have experienced john. Enjoy it. we're gonna say nice things about you. You're a good guy. And ballard dance so nokes no trepidation about baylor's performance against oklahoma state. Oklahoma states really good people are losing their mind. What at at baylor games. They're playing in the big twelve. They're not planning west coast conference. You're playing in the big twelve. You're planning against other teams that have good players. You're gonna lose games all right. The next game is interesting. Opening round games wisconsin. Why i think he's just not right against north carolina who depending on the day is not right. I mean real simple carolina. You can take care of the ball. Are you gonna make your shot if you take care of the ball and at least get shots up. Then you have an advantage. Except that as we know wisconsin wisconsin's analytics over. Like if you just look at their analytics you would think they'd win every game. They don't give up second shots that will turn it over. They get pretty good shots but they don't play winning basketball. I know that sounds weird. But there's something not right. I think carolina find a way to win that game except the carolina. Jecklin hide reminds of this game. Would you like i like carolina. And this and i look whatever's happened to nate rivers whether it's kobe whether it's whatever it just hasn't been good. I expected more out of him. They don't run their stop nearly as well as they didn't pass they rely too much on one. And frankly they're not a one on one team. And you know what would those big garrison brooks bay. Come and all and bacon's and everybody else you can get into wisconsin. Guards make them drivers into traffic. I think this is a pretty good match up for north carolina. I just think they're better. And i think they're going to win the basketball game and i think they're going to win it fairly big. So if you wanna bet on a game this probably going to have tyke spread. That's gonna move it out a little bit. I think this is the game i think. North carolina wins by double digits. All right to winter is the sexy upset. eco nova plant without conquests. Be justin moore play the other day but wasn't good. They started the set a little bit. You know this is. This is a winter key. May play really fast. I've got a low post lower burns at play him about fifty minutes game. he's really productive. Obviously they got a very good camera. Badran the big six seven kind of point guard because they run the show through a tuck this about. They're extremely aggressive. Pat kelsey really likeable dude. Winter months play fast was gonna try to get into half court who you like. Well i i agree with everything you said. I think winter got a hell of a team. But if this was any other organization other than j j rights organization i would say the winthrop's gonna win the basketball game but you still have robinson hurl. You still have samuels. And if healthy justin moore. You've got three guys. You've got the best three guys on the court. And that always bodes. Well now the point guard situation okay. It is what it is. We all know that point guards at villanova stuff are important. It is the sexy. Pick the five twelve upset all that kind of stuff. But i'm not betting against jay wright and his organisation they just seem to overcome things that need to be overcome when they need to be overcome. I great i agree all right. So now this is an interesting north texas by gurus helmi north texas guards. The crap you absolutely flat can guard you an elite defensive team. They put great pressure notable they then eyeball reversal on play. Two man game with javon Handle it let the point guard and that they are really really good solid defensive team. They turn people over there really aggressive. But you've seen teams like that. Purdue doesn't beat themselves. You pretty has probably i i do. I think this is going to be right down to the wire south because what. I've talked to people today actually. Starting last night couple guys. I was surprised. North texas beat western kentucky. Not because i knew anything about no taxes. But because i saw western kentucky for three games and and they're really good athletic on the wing. Strong tough. I think what you said about the all of the defense bits. Dramatically bad against purdue get up into. They're not the quickest. Get shot team jay nineties really the only one that can i think this is going to be. I'm going to bet against purdue because i think produce offensive analytics put them in the top ten. But nobody's really pressured purdue nobody's really got into them and under wings. Don't take this game for granted. North texas is going to cover whatever the point spread is pretty wins. It the end. Are you got another big time. Texas tech utah state and utah state. Pounds that thing in pain name is cadence a big physical that play a four round. One run actually pretty good motion and so pretty good actions to me. The kid just being an interesting precedent. Don't shoot it as well as they happen to pass but they really defend the top five rebounding They're a very good offensive antiques. Keta against texas tech doesn't have a legitimate big tonight. I mean or cassette said

Why Do Children Give the Cold Shoulder To Someone They Love?

"The time. I will let it go and how resentful indignant frustrated and annoyed are you. It depends. I don't like getting to the place where. I feel resentful so i try to do that. Enter talking and decide. Okay if i'm not gonna let this bother me. That i really have to let it go but i will say yes. There are times where. I will let it go. And i might be just a little. Ooh yeah like he's feeling for sure. Yeah it takes me just a little bit being like that and then we'll get through it and then it's fine and then there are times where i have that talk and i'm like nope. This is not okay with me. And i i wanted to talk about it and say something and have a conversation. Does it do any good. It does like we had a recent disagreement. Please tell so. I did not know that daisy and eric had had a conversation about getting daisy on tiktok to see an older cousin that we have in the family who has an account and she was excited about it and i did not hear about this and cut too i just heard that daisy was signing up for tiktok. How did you hear. She was coming over to eric and saying okay. Now what do i do. And he was telling her. Don't forget your password. Write it down somewhere and i ask. Oh but she doing joining terrorist groups ugly saying getting on tiktok. There was no discussion in my mind. I just reacted in that moment. And i said oh no. I don't want her on tiktok. That was a big thing for me. In hindsight i probably should have waited to. Maybe reacted one of the reasons that you react. That way is you are at a state of semi alert to alarm at all times and your waiting for the intel to drop. Yeah so you heard the words get on and tiktok and it had not been passed by you and that fell on top of a pile of frustration about this child man's judgment and the ambivalence you have about. What a warm loving fun guy so close to his daughters his daughters who are coming of age and we'll have crushes on boys and they are getting so deeply cherished by their sweet dad and at the same time you know so much about what goes on in the world of social media and girl self esteem and identity and sexuality that you have your good angel and the devil gas each on your shoulders arguing at all times. The corpus callosum the connects the right and left hemisphere of women's brains is thicker than in men and it means that women naturally us both sides of their brains to make decisions and for men. It's sometimes a little bit more easier and direct. Is it a cousin or a friend who was on tiktok. it's my cousin's daughter cousins to hire so exciting celebrity family member on tick doing adorable vance and she has her own channel. So cool and now spoilsport. Here is hyper vigilant. That's what we call it. Then psychology jumping in to say you did what so what happened in that moment. The main reason. I got irritated as we were with our pod and there are a couple guys there too and it was very emasculating issues. Like no. she's not watching. Tiktok that okay. And i'm like and furs liberal. As i am parenting. I do default to whatever she says. I mean. i'm definitely the beta as far as you hear me fall to whatever. She says. you can't read her mind right. And so that's your intention and that's your kind of moral position but in a case like this and this is a beautiful example here you were joining with your daughter. In a celebration of cousins expansiveness on the magnificent new platform tiktok swirling the pandemic world with joy. And then this bitch comes in humiliates you in front of your friends or male and female pie and you think okay. I'll just swallow this and eat some more sugar with the girls and it will be totally our country. Exactly the ugly. What happened so get resolved. So the next morning i went to bed it was bothering me and i did feel bad for the way that i handled it so no conversation between the afterward no thanksgiving night. We're both. oh yeah. Yeah so the next morning. I said something i said i you know i'd really like to get this off my chest. What time what plays what. Words was probably around nine. Am and i think. I use the words. I'd really like to get this off my chest and were the two of you alone. Girls there were alone and he was not in the most open mood. But i felt like i really wanted to talk about it in the kitchen. Seated standing i was seated. He was standing. How'd you had breakfast her. Yeah so i started with. I really wanna get this off my chest and correct me if i'm wrong. I said you know. I want to have a conversation about tiktok ortho. I want to back up just a little bit. Because we're going to parse words sir. I really want to get this off my chest. Strikes

He's the greatest athlete that is alive today that is active. There's no other athlete up. It's more, um more popular. Hold up a bigger spotlight than LeBron James in the United States. "We cannot wait to talk to coach Sam Pippen next he is joining us live from Fayetteville and coach It's always nice to talk to you. Thanks for making the time and how's everything going Oh. It's my pleasure to be here. It's going great. We've we're into practice going to have a scrimmage tomorrow practice seven and it's been a lot of fun. Well I know there are a multitude of questions you may have the answer you may not be able to give us but Callers that we get from Arkansas. When are you going to share with US your starting quarterback? Whenever Kirby smart shares with US via starting quarterback. It's GonNa be a Georgia. That's a good. That's a good answer. You know I don't know. You know we we've. Had A couple guys running. In there with the ones and so what aside you know we're only six axes in. So we have a couple of scrimmage to go through and things of that nature. So. We certainly have an idea who who the top two guys are and we'll figure it out soon.

No shortage of points scored inside the NBA's bubble

"All right. So the backstory Tio what took place yesterday between the Trail Blazers and the Clippers game, missing two free throws at the end. Clippers Go on to win the game. Pat Beverly on the bench, pointing to his wrist, same time waving goodbye. The wave goodbye is from last season member in the NBA playoffs, Dame hit that game winner and then he did the bye bye to the Oklahoma City Thunder, which Paul George was on that team at the time. Paul George now with Clippers, so yesterday that was won the better games. In the league yesterday in the MBA bubble, Damian Lillard 22 points, but the Clippers they really were outstanding. You had six guys in double figures for the Clippers. Paul George, 21.6 rebounds for assists. They get 17 for Reggie Jackson. Shannon had 19. Couple guys off the bench with double figures as well. But the Clippers win that

The Toxicity of Ego with Jocko Willink

"I'm your host. Alex jet and today we have A. With Jaakko Willing Jaakko was a leader that has become a regular on this podcasting and a friend of our team. He's a retired Navy seal, and the CO founder of Echelon Front and his book leadership strategy and tactics is an absolute masterclass in the practical fundamentals of leading well, but at the core of every practice habit and mindset. The JAAKKO teaches is an idea that if you don't conquer your ego, it will conquer you. You know I was very lucky. In the fact that in my career I worked for some guys had big massive egos, and you wouldn't think that would be lucky, but it's very lucky because you get to see what drives them, and you get to see the impact that it has on the rest of the team, and so your ego is something that's constantly there and look. As you know from the book. That I caught me of leadership that I wrote that I'm not saying you shouldn't have an ego, and we all have ego and ego can be a very positive thing. It's what drives you to work hard toward drives you to want to win, but when you start letting your ego, drive your decision making process, and you start making decisions that satisfy your ego instead of helping out the team, and helping out your subordinates, and helping out the people above you in the chain of command. Allow those things to happen. You're going start to go backwards and you'RE GONNA end up in a bad position, so you absolutely have to keep going check. You have to be looking out for other people looking out for the team looking out for the mission and put yourself at the bottom of that list. And I think one of the topics that you really highlighted for me. I realized like okay man. You really have to remove your ego to achieve this. Is that topic of detachment so I'd love for you to dive into where you became aware, because it's almost like it's like the six cents thing that lots of people aren't even aware of so tells a little bit about where you became aware of this as a strategy, and then what it actually is Jaakko so I hate to make it sound like one moment in time I was enlightened and I figured it all out, because that's absolutely not true, and I'm still in the process of moving forward and trying to figure it out. That being said as I talk about in the book. Leadership Strategy and tactics. I was in my first seal platoon I'm a new guy and not only my new guy. I'm the most junior ranking guy and on top of that I'm the youngest guy so I have. Absolutely no, no reason to be speaking. You know being a new guy in a seal platoon. You keep your mouth shut. You do what you're told you trying to learn right? You're trying to learn. You're trying to figure things out. We had been going through our pre deployment workup so doing land warfare and doing urban combat, and doing close quarters combat in jungle training, and we'd been through all those blocks of training, so I was progressing down the path of being a good seal, and we went on one trip. We were going to clear oil rigs, big oil rigs in southern California off the coast. You know in case were overseas and an oil rig gets taken over by bad guys. We can go take it back. So we're training for that mission and. We start off small just by how we're going to get onto the oil rig, we practice getting onto the oil rig. Then we start actually moving through the oil, rig and oil rigs are these crazy complex structures, and as you come up from the ocean. No once you get on board, the oil rig when you. It's actually called oil platform when you come up. The platform you up the stairs. You eventually get to this big giant deck big giant floor of the oil platform. It's called the cellar. Check for whatever reason. That's what it's called, and it's a big massive big massive area, and we only have sixteen guys in the seal platoon. So as the first couple guys get to that seller deck, they make this tactical call of flood, which means hey, it's a big area. We need everyone everyone a platoon up the stairs, and as we all know platoon, come up the stairs. We all fall into our standard positions, which is all of us standing like a skirmish line? Looking at this seller back so you've got sixteen guys. All sixteen of US seals in the tune where all standing there staring at the potential targets and the seller decks covered with equipment and gear and mechanical. Very cluttered thing and there's all the possibility of all kinds of places for bad guys to hide. And so I'm standing there. Looking down the sites of my weapon scanning for targets. And you know ten seconds go by, and then fifteen seconds go by, and and now I'm waiting now. Twenty seconds have gone by them waiting for. One of the leaders in my seal platoon to make some kind of a decision to make a call on what to do next. I'm standing there doing my job. Scanning targets and another ten seconds and twenty seconds go by which seems like ages. And, so finally I say to myself you know what I guess you. What's happening, so we're all standing in that skirmish line. We've all tracking whether weapons. I take a step back. Step back. Maybe a foot, maybe eighteen inches at the most I looked to my left. I looked to my right. And as I look I, see that every other guy in my seal platoon. is still staring down their weapons, staring down the sights of the weapons scanning for targets, and as you can imagine when you're staring down the site of your weapon, your field of view is not very wide. You can't really see a lot of what is happening well as I step back and looked around. I saw that every single guy was staring down the weapon, including my platoon commander, including my platoon chief, including my platoon assistant commander, including my platoon leading petty officer all the people that should have been making a decision. We're staring down the sights of their weapons so. It's pretty obvious wants I. Step back what we needed to do. So I. summoned up all the courage I could open my mouth as a new guy and I said old left clear right, which was a standard call. Nothing spectacular, no incredible, tactical genius here it's a standard of hold left clear right, and after I said that I kind of braced for. Someone to yell at me and say shot, up new guy. But instead they all actually did what they're supposed to do. Which is repeat the call down the line? Everyone said hold left clear I old buff clear out. Hold left clear right, and then they actually did it. The guys that were on the left side held in the guys that were on the right side started to move through. And then we continued on with the rest of the clearance, and we got to the end of the clearance, and we got into a little huddle to do a debrief. And we got into the huddle the debrief once again. I kinda braced for impact because I figured I was about to get smacked around for being a new guy with a loud mouth. And instead one of the senior guys in the platoon. says. Hey Jaakko good call on the seller deck.

Will Brinson on the PGA Tour

"Well with the PGA tour. Starting tomorrow wanted to bring on. My Guy Will Brinson as promised at will Brinson on twitter. He's host of the pick. Six podcast I've been on that. It's an excellent show. I enjoy it tremendously, but he also is really into Goff. He's really into baseball. Is really you know a lot of things before we get to the PGA tour or golf? Stuff will let me just ask you this. The I don't remember what it was called, but Tiger Woods Phil Mickelson you know. peyton manning Tom Brady. The ratings that did and the money that it generated I. Guess my first reaction was how much of that is because it's the only thing going on during the virus, and how much of it is because people thought it was cool. Just Watch one group of. Football players and a couple guys go like I. You know I almost thought of like if I'm tiger woods and Phil Mickelson like, why do I need to play these other events like every like three or four times a year? Get a couple, musicians, or you know movie, stars or athletes do one of these deals and a boatload of money from it. Yeah I mean I think. The ratings are definitely Ross a result of the pandemic to to a larger extent I. Mean Look at you know even like. The the last dance was awesome, and it was absolutely must watch television, but the ratings were not. I don't think like real last dance ratings if we actually have sports going on, we're not all sort of cooped up in the house so I i. think that does make a difference. People are itching for some real sports, but yeah, we look you're talking about putting four of the biggest sole celebrity athletes on the planet in a in a in a golf match. People are going to be interesting to see what happens. so so from that perspective I think it's something that that those guys will do more of and let's not forget I. Mean for all the you know the ribbing and like Oh like look who want etcetera etcetera. These guys are pocketing huge piles of cash, and so a lot of you raised a lot of money for charity, too, but I mean these guys are pocketing here's pile huge piles of cash when they do an event like this, this is not a not entirely out of the goodwill of their of their generous hearts. Did you. Bet on it will, and did you. Did you love it? I was I was actually. I missed the early part of it because I was actually playing golf myself. We can play golf in north. Carolina. and I didn't bet on it. Because I was I like. I didn't think there was enough value in the favorites if I if I didn't sitting at my computer and watching the the first part of probably prop bets Anything A. full-blown degenerate, but just because I was playing golf and didn't have the early part. and I didn't like the I like I like the I thought the favorites. The. Phase GonNa win. And but I, I thought that the best value was on the dog, and so I didn't I I. It was like a tough spot for me. I didn't love the price on it, and so I figured out playing golf myself. Maybe just stay away on this one. It's actually rare thing I'd bet on oddly enough. Steve I'm curious I didn't even ask you. Did you watch that? Did you get involved in it at all, did you? Did you like it? Do you think it could be sort of the future for Golfer? At least more have more of them in the future for golf? What about four holes do some strong opinions about? This golf is horribly flawed right now because the players are boring. And Dairy. I just I can't watch golf all the players. Basically I have no interest other than tiger woods. Who I like following because he has a personality, shows emotion and I think that that what really stood out how great that exhibition was is with you, know Phil, needling tiger back and forth, and and the like, and you know Brady struggling big time early. It was just it was riveting I. Think I would have watched it. had been full sports on and I. Don't watch golf because I'm I. I'm sorry I'm just bored in terms of betting. I'll tell you this. Thank goodness. There was no live betting that I saw on this event because after six holes when woods and manning up three, I was convinced they were GonNa win by seven. This was going to be one of the. The greatest blow outs of all time. It's woods home. Course he's hitting. Every fairway and Brady can't play a lick so I guess a little warning and live betting things can change because obviously, this match got very close at the end,

What phone should I get to replace my Nokia Lumia 1520?

"I did the Nokia cell phone users to fight with the mid nineties okay work we're going back yeah it is sixty ten brick to sixteen fifty yeah and then of course when windows the integrative window open for you know kill integrated with windows we came out with the thirty and I currently have the fifteen twenty which is still running on the eight point one phone OS which is in the water yeah it did yeah they're going to door mail yeah there than the guy driving the Tesla but anyway sorry that's a mean thing to say but I know you're doing your I know the feeling so Nokia remembered and okay got purchased by Microsoft in perhaps one of the worst acquisitions in the history of technology Microsoft eventually wrote them off for billions of dollars but there are no give phones being made they're being made by the literally the guys across the street H. M. D. so they're a quick they're they're using Nokia designs there are still some phone people Nokia they just you know I don't think I think even eventually the Microsoft walk in will go away and they'll be able to make phones again if they want to but right now they use an H. M. D. company and they actually what's with the recently which I think is hysterical they made they started making the thirty three ten again yeah which is a classic Danny bar phoning it in and you can place in a content wait wait let me figure this when they move to the fifteen twenty and introduce the windows platform I loved it I love Microsoft killed that big that's gone it is it is they shot it in the faces of the bloody mess but here's here's my question in doing some research fail I read a lot of research unix and there's a couple guys on the windows central review guys that work for windows that saying that Hey if if they're dead in the water if you really want to stay within windows platform or something close to it we recommend going to a phone call bill one plus certain patrols yes very nice phone but that's an android device it is very critical yeah in the end this is the good thing about it is you could load up all of Microsoft software services launcher phone containing a look H. and L. whole bunch of good luck not since going to give you what you loved I'm going to guess about windows phone that live tile front page was fantastic it was a beautifully designed operating system I think it should it had it been timing it been better and Microsoft had done a better job with the carriers that might have been the the king of smartphones the problem is they came to the table late android and iOS very well established by the time Microsoft came up with this windows phone windows phone I think it was the first decent one and the real problem they had as developers are very chosen companies banks you don't start ups all were either doing iOS or android and they didn't have room I mean even if most of them only in one of the other the ones that did both never had room for a third operating system completely different and effective thing that really killed there are two things that killed windows phone one is the carriers if you went into a Verizon store and said I'd like to know more about that Nokia windows phone yeah they'd still return to an android device they wouldn't they would even show it to you so that was a problem when they didn't get the carriers to come along problem to think if the developers to come along and the kiss of death was when banks started saying yeah we're not gonna make our app for the windows platform yeah because if if you can't do some critical things with a smart phone like your banking it just kills the platform there was no Instagram eventually torch the upload torched blow torched it was the end of the line and I I feel bad about it because I think I agree with you I loved my windows phone well yeah yeah yeah so my my question is I don't know how much knowledge you have of the one plus seven Kroll have won it you do yeah it's a great phone I love you I love you and it will include tonic way but I I try to buy most of the really worth while the phones if I don't have it then one of my colleagues we have an android show called all about android will have it I was I fell in love with the one plus seven pro now there are a thousand dollars from from Amazon maybe a couple don't get it from Amazon they're now selling for five hundred dollars so here's the thing about one plus one plus makes in my opinion yeah first class feature phones I'm sorry first class flagship phones at a significant discount so if you want a Samsung if you want a Google or you want an apple smartphone you're going to spend around a thousand Bucks but one plus very intentionally keeps their price point below that so seven pro right now is five hundred dollars I think it's really there's some things that they do that are really cool for instance there's no hole puncher notch they have a little periscope for the selfie camera goes up and down I think that's hysterical it's got a very nice ninety hertz display faster refresh rate means smoother scrolling hi there it's the year resolution the screen is fully edge to edge and beautiful thing that's most important to me and this is a big issue if you're gonna get an android phone you want a company that's not going to muck with Sandra too much one plus has their version of Andrew called oxygen which I think is as close to pure and right as you can get better than Samsung's version Google of course makes a pure android phone and I think Google phones are good but I think the one plus is better hardware so if you're looking for a really good look nothing I'd knowledge I I I'm with the I miss them my mind okay ten those are great phones but if you're looking for an android phone that can compete I think the one plus seven is a group of seven pro is a great choice I would also add that even though Microsoft makes a launcher in all the gaps and stuff is never gonna look people think all the Microsoft launcher must have those live tiles now so nothing's gonna look like your windows phone but I understand that I understand that yeah understand the would I be able to back up to the Microsoft one drive using the one plus seven pro yes okay yeah I mean it's not a windows phone but yeah if they they also missing the one plus some pros out of stock at one plus I think that's because they have a new one coming up look at the seventy which is much like their seven plus that's back at the seven pro I kind of like the actually the the the the the I really like the seven pro because it has the periscope with the seventy is is probably just as good might be a little bit X. but less expensive that came out in October so that those are both fairly new phones one is they have this vertical but that the one plus seven pro Michael Ehrenberg don't get the McLaren version that's a five G. phone right I don't think there's five G. of Ventura I went there I went into the T. mobile store because they're offering that McLaren version I said them great I'd five Jeez here where can I get it not here can I get in San Francisco now where can I get it they said you kinda you kind of open the redwoods they've got one five G. transmitter it's crazy that's it that's it but the thing about the McLaren it offers what it had six hundred fifty six of of gigabytes or some don't know they'll give them a clear in that year that's crazy plus you well you got money to burn go ahead but you don't you're not gonna get five G. check to make sure they don't require you to buy five G. plan because that's even not you're spending for money on five G. that you're not getting five G. kills the battery five he's not ready for prime time and T. mobile US five G. is really just cut I mean it's six hundred megahertz so this is a long story too I I don't know if I should it didn't bark into this five G. is a marketing term yeah it is and T. mobile is rolling out five G. over six hundred megahertz that's good because it travels farther goes through walls it's bad because it's not anywhere near the low latency and speed of millimeter wave five G. which is way far out so a lot of what you hear about five June five G. is gonna be great cars will be talking to each other and love all of that is down the road with millimeter wave that's not what T. mobiles offering right now they're offering six hundred megahertz people who've user I can't because I'm not you kavya the people who use it say it's not noticeably faster okay and then lastly I understand it by by the internet international unlocked version I could stick with my eighteen T. plans correct yeah they don't lock these you can get put in the sim in it you can put your eighteen T. seven at and and they won't know the difference I'm I highly recommend the one plus these are great phones okay okay I just have to break the bank and I get that get a hammer that

"Couple guys that missing by names we had a couple guys they can they can hold it down out there hopefully we stay healthy but like you said you know anything can happen it's a long season hundred sixty two games and so I'll probably be out there little bit you know one thing I hope Michael you're not playing left field because at B. Jonas will be out there every day which is well what do you think about that media it should be what has come back in B. O. Ennis there I say what if I just line it's really going to be loaded how about that would be awesome I mean it's it is just great to have back in the clubhouse he's he's a great dude you know people gravitate you know gravitate towards them he's kind of he he's he's taken some of the guys under his wing a little bit and especially outfielders you can learn a little bit from him how he was a great outfielder you need a lot of good things right when he's healthy and you know so he's he's a game changer me he's a presence in the lineup really lengthens our lineup and and just adds another guy with Pete and Jeff said J. D. and myself included just just guys you got a circle in the line up and worry about so you know that would be awesome we're we're we're hoping for him to stay healthy and and be a big part of this team that's interesting you said before that game winning it against the nationals highlight your career you are guided to home runs in a World Series game I say one of them one okay how was that because in twenty fifteen you know as fans we remember Mets couldn't hit and you were the savior you're the guy coming up to the minor leagues here's Michael Conforto is gonna help turn a line up around and you did that obviously the trade process but is there a big part of that fifteen team and there you are in game four despite you know what happened in the eighth inning which I want to think about hitting two home runs in that game how about that experience of a rookie season that you went through it was dream like a really you know a I wasn't supposed to get called up that year I had a you know one of our coordinators soul man hi you know don't worry about you know doing too much this year you're not going to be in the big leagues you know we're gonna take it slow with you all that stuff in you know so I kind of just put that out of my mind played played my game and and then you know we had some injury troubles and and some hitting troubles and in New York and I was I was playing at a high level so you know that whole year was a dream for me you know being able to come up and fulfill my dreams and then all the sudden I find myself in in the World Series being able to to be you know to be a force in the line of so that's the goal is to get back there and and continue to you.

"Of the FBI wanted to send agents into the White House itself interview senior official you would work through the White House counsel in the discussions and approvals and would be there and I thought it's early enough let's just send a couple guys over that is one of the worst things I think I've ever heard from any FBI director ever well so then I wouldn't have done or wouldn't have gotten away with then the bush or Obama administration's top sure I took advantage of all the chaos and then of course for the what is it talking about he's talking about sending his agents in two grail or interrogate general Michael Flynn a thirty three year war veteran and this is right after the deputy FBI director McCabe had said the general Flynn one general Flynn inquired do I need a lawyer and he said no no no you don't need a lawyer at all now we have some developments on this Sydney Powell has dropped a massive bomb shell on how the FBI did in fact trap a general Flynn and is demanding the charges be dismissed for outrageous government misconduct in a filing yesterday saying that the case against our client should be dismissed for outrageous government misconduct the court should issue an order to show cause why the prosecutor should not be held in contempt she wrote the that the FBI agent Peter struck in this case changed as interview notes to purport that Flynn said things that he did not that a Pentagon official may have leaked evidence to the press with the involvement of former director of national intelligence James clapper and that department of justice prosecutors have refused to turn over as per Brady all the exculpatory evidence that they should be handing over as a matter of law to the defense in this case you may remember the plan was first serving when Donald Trump got into office his first national security adviser four days later after the inauguration struck met Flynn when Flynn was viewed as of the Butte it as a meeting between two colleagues but struck was using all of that is part of a criminal probe against him when he was told just the opposite anyway the great city Powell the attorney for general Flynn joins us and she's written a lot about it extensively about prosecutorial abuse and misconduct in her best selling book license to lie talked a lot about Andrew Weissmann in that book Sydney this is a a pretty big bomb shell and I think you're blowing the lid off this extensive F. B. I. plot against the thirty three year veteran as an American that makes me sick to my stomach when I heard from call me makes me sick to my stomach yes it really is absolutely outrageous shown and we are going to ask for the entire case against general Flynn to be dismissed for outrageous government misconduct from the inception of the entire investigation is beyond an outrage let's talk about your filing and you go into great specificity and detail tell us what happened well one of the big things the government continues to hide is all the strike page text messages and in their unredacted form I'm convinced there's a lot more evidence out there of the entire plan to the store general flan and also president trump in those text messages one of the things I found that the government has not produced is us text message from straw to page about how they were going to use the explosion of the of steel dossier and buzzfeed and CNN as a pretext to go interview general slant on and then they literally strategize about how to do that struck in the cave did four days and then the entire small group of the upper echelon of the FBI had a planning meeting the day before the interview to strategize about how to do it keeping him on guarded unaware of what their true purpose was and to literally you know set him up for this entire false statement prosecution it's just appalling it really is I mean the whole thing is appalling but when the news broke in twenty seventeen and February attributed to senior Intel officials that general Flynn and discuss sanctions with ambassador kayslee act contrary to what the vice president said on television previously following that leak over night it is there was a change in his three oh two we know who did that no we don't know who did it but we can see what the changes are one of the exhibits to my braces a comparison of the three oh two of those temporary tent to the three oh two of February eleventh and everyone can see what the changes were well we need so included as an exhibit the notes of Mr Strock and the other agent for some reason the government insists continue unnamed why we still waiting for all this evidence that they're supposed to hand over and I know that you've been pushing to compel the government to hand over exculpatory evidence required by Brady and judge Emmet Sullivan standing order but is you know these briefs that you're putting out there between showcasing the prosecution's pension for withholding but instead exposing significant new evidence and the defense team when we got to get to the bottom of this and and the real conclusion and this has to be the exoneration of general Flynn well I would imagine that the hearing on November eleventh is going to produce a significant number of fireworks I think judge someone has enough information before him now and are brief and the exhibits that I would not want to be standing there and Mister van cracks you the government had any integrity at all at this point that the department of justice has any integrity at all at this point they will themselves moved to dismiss the prosecution of general plan in the interest of justice that is long overdue you know I'm reading the federals had a good summation of a lot of this and and analysis of your court filing and you're asking the court to dismiss the entire prostitute prosecution based on this out rages on American conduct of law enforcement officials but the time line that you piece together from publicly reported text messages that were withheld from your defense team and exurbs of documents still sealed from public view the sequence that you lay out a showing that a team of high ranking FBI officials orchestrated what was this ambush interview of the national security adviser taking advantage of the chaos not for the purpose of discovering any evidence of any criminal activity there ready had tapes of all the relevant conversations they need to talk to general Flynn about any of it for the purpose of trapping him and basically a perjury trap exactly a thing they need is that there's no way anyone anyone can remember all the details of any conversation that would be reflected in the transcript that's what we have transcripts of court hearing so we know exactly what is that because no one is capable of remembering word for word any conversation much less when you're going twenty hours a day talking that every country on the face of the earth literally and and so much is happening it's hard to keep track of it under the best of circumstances so they if they know that if they go talk to somebody they can find something so it was all designed to can something on him and coordinated with the fairest section of the department of justice out of the National Security divisional to bug in the instigate all the fera issues also all right so they wanted to first get him on a seventeen ninety nine never used OR applied law cold the Logan act where individual citizens don't talk about foreign policy with with America's adversaries resuming that they were viewing Russia rightly so as an adversary has that ever successfully been prosecuted was not their initial attempt to get general Flynn show which to me shows just the level of depth desperation on their part well that that was another just pure pretext they all knew I mean the government has produced enough snippets of movie and summaries of statements from other people during the last year that we can tell they all knew that was a pretext dismissed that and then of course there's the January thirty internal memo and DOJ that they still have not produced to us in full the actual memo that completely exonerate him of being an agent of Russia while he was still in the White House and could have and should have being a been able to keep his job why is the judge taking so long in this case and demanding that all of this information which you have a right to by law be handed over why why all the delays how did they get away with the finding what is now a court order well you know they routinely say that they've produced all the Brady evidence in fact their manager on this case and found that they've given me more than we're entitled to and they keep harping on the fact that you've waived his rights in a guilty plea which isn't true under judge stolen to order and judge Tolman politely made that clear to the government the last time and instead of producing the evidence like they should have before they filed a reply brief they go and follow the prompts reply brief that again says we've given you more than you're entitled to well you know it's it's taken me three weeks or more to get our response to that that makes clear that's not true how are you now it's when the robbers going to meet the rest of it how do you know that the three oh oh twos were altered because I know you're alleging in this filing that the FBI manipulated Flynn's three oh twos witches bait basically agents ways of Rachael up their recollections of summary of interviews and it's it's not clear who may have done this the Peter struck was involved in the original interview but these changes added an unequivocal statement that Flynn stated that he did not in response to whether flan and ask this guide to vote in a certain manner or slow down the U. when vote that never happened did it it was not in the agents original statements there's no support for that in there notes in their original wrong notes of course we don't have the exact original wrong notes we have supposed that copies on them and one of the things that appears to me to be true is that Mr Strock notes are not contemporaneously with the interview at all so we have asked for production of the actual paper on which the original notes were taken so we can have a handwriting analysis though is if the government does not admit that they were written after the fact Frank may I think we should get up anyway let me ask you about the breaking news from last night I think this is huge and as we now move forward we knock we're gonna get the files a report by the inspector general Michael Horowitz long awaited I'm hearing I I don't see how they they don't conclude premeditated fraud on the court for the purpose of spying on the opposition party candidate and then transition team and that a president but the justice department's investigations into the origins of this.

O. twenty five six hundred and fifty meter in diameter largess Jordan twenties twenty seven one in eighty three hundred chance and finally Ben which obviously is the interest of spacecraft five hundred sixty meters it's twenty one eighty to one in one thousand chance and that's good news because George though we should still be concerned about the asteroids that come from behind the sun with little or no orbital data that's the stuff that we really have to study about and continue to search for George in astronomy last week we actually spoke about the recent twenty new moon discovery around Saturn making Saturn of course as many well no the planet with the most moons eighty two in total versus Jupiter seventy nine but once interesting seventeen of these new moons are what we call retrograde motion they mean they move backwards from Saturn's orbital motion and the remaining three or what we call prograde orbits like that of Saturn turning towards his what's interesting people can actually help name in these modes which was really cool and they need to just tweet to at Saturn lunacy and so many people out there who need to know this because they have to there's three different satellite groups there named after into with mythology Gaelic mythology and Norse Norse mythology so good luck on that because people are actually getting the same with actually naming some of the Jovian satellites of Jupiter imagine having your own satellite named because you did it that's a great thing the George finally allies this is the part that everybody tells me they like of course the moon out past new how about that hunters full hunter's moon that was suh's so spectacular now waning moving on the last quarter on the twenty first and now folks George this meteor shower another one starting up the Ryan it meteor shower peaks next Sunday and Monday night but still look into the early morning after let's say midnight to summarize the shower will still be decent planets Venus and mercury low in the southwest of sunset and Jupiter and Saturn low in the south at sunset such is gonna remind you always always remember to keep.

"I'm like man couple guys, man. I need you. I'm like you by trying to do who would say, bro. Do yo- special move don't show up some workout talking about you by the do some new. I never did before. Like do what you do great straighter. And then if you get a chance today. Trying to do this other stuff that you think they wanna see I said ain't gonna never see what you do. Good. Special move, first and foremost, but you know, what I generation they think different than us. You know what I mean? Like, they were we gave them everything you know, what I'm saying. So think about all exposure you guys had and I had as a female. They're having what we you know, we gave it. It's like, it's different. Now, like everything we worked for just basically gave it today generation. And now they'll understand that part of it. So you know, the whole different thing how different ballgame. Now, what you seem like the more visual like people can see stuff. I mean, we have all this internet stuff. You can see it. Now like looking at it every day on TV. And then you're going outside trying to eventually you do see some of the dunks that you see now the three sixty between the legs. I'm like never seen tonight paid for it, man. It's just crazy that I think is just like the. Human body. Just kind of all once they steady seeing it. And it's just. Sometimes to is it the food is they putting stuff in the food is another. I'm telling you when I went I was. Does that the Aaron Gordon Zach LeVine, the dunk contest in Toronto, bro? Like, he just says some of the stuff that was being done. It was like come on like, wait a minute. I'm I was tripping it. I was in person. So it wasn't like, oh, it's on TV is like some of the stuff is like what's going on like how none of us were jumping like this Levin. And Gordon was man. And then you got this young kids I coming through now like come on, man. This this kid is like Khalil Mack size or whatever eighty by talking like dominee point two point five. And he every time he jumped his head is at the rim explode through shoes by Ronnie feels like I've never seen anybody. For me like that is true subtle running. Set out running feels that is true. So that was one year moments coming up like in basketball that you remember? Going to your games. You don't understand you couldn't even get in there. Like you got to be plugged to get in a game. Like. It was not plug. You're not going to see light. Ronnie Ronnie did for real, nah. Like he's wanted to one. Like, she said though that win he jumped and done like he now, you ain't saying this before like you knew when you saw he was special, and then when K G came and joined them it was like, oh forget about it was like this like the biggest show in town literally like broad light one every. When everything went down with with him in the accident like come on man, like Oprah M J don't type of people showed up to the hospital to see him like when Nazi dot. That's what I felt like we're Ronnie, you know, what I mean. Like, I was like how. Happen. But it happened. The tonight we supposed to play in the next day in the playoffs. And they beat us. Hey beat us without him. Nola remembers love brother, what was the like Roscoe or some little brother was on bad. I was like we was like one of those things where the spirit and moved the team. We were supposed to snack and they had Michael right after that was like. Yeah. Right. Were God bless my right? White word. Mike was cool to Sopa. Ninety eight joy Olympics. Anyone go together USA team? That's crazy though. Like, I don't know we I mean, there's a lot of legends like to see Ronnie fields had much, you know, earn behind stuff. It was impact with. And it's called a talk about it. It's like I feel like we kinda got gained it off..

"Fifty-seven it wouldn't be a new year. If we didn't start off a little bit of technical difficulties, but we are back with you. It's two thousand nineteen happy new year to the first and last audience out here. Hope you've been well hope you got through New Year's Eve without any hangups. What I'm talking about? I hope you didn't send that text. I hope you did. Right by yourself going into the new year. Because it's been an interesting start and part of the interesting part about the holidays having to negotiate going back to where you're from not always task usually small things get dodge, you got to know the right places to be. And when and usually usually you can't avoid that one meet up that you weren't looking forward to going home is hard business. Couple guys in the NBA found that out one last night. And one getting ready to tonight. My favorite soap opera from the end of last season. The NBA happened in San Antonio. Because it was the most unlikely backdrop for NBA melodrama, then I think we've ever had when you look at what the Spurs have meant to basketball in the modern era with Gregg Popovich, the head coach, it has been the poster the absolute picture of a rock solid. Well, run organization that is built on the backs of humble superstars who quietly go about their business and set an example for the rest of the team. Well, we know that one little sideways last year. Kawhi Leonard some things happen with his injury in this organization and the way that it was handled any trust was fractured. And I always said that when it comes to your body is an athlete that is the greatest trust that you can have with you in the medical staff and the coaching staff of that team and what they're going to do. When all of a sudden, it is your well being online because for an organization, you are a big part of your plans, but we all end up becoming interchangeable at some point every organization is going to move on from you. They're gonna find a secession plan for you that is the entirety of your athletic life. So for Leonard that was the breaking point, and they broke up, and it was messy in. There was a trade all these different things that finally set Kawhi Leonard. To worry is now in Toronto. And so Leonard gets to go back home. Tonight gets the checkout San Antonio. And I said I'm looking forward to that first moment if we're going to get that icy handshake that half-hearted hug between Gregg Popovich and Kawhi Leonard because I really don't know how to read the situation like at any other one of these we would have dealt with this publicly. There would have been a hashing out of these feelings. These guys would have been asked about it and comment about it. Plenty this Gregg Popovich and quiet Leonard like they don't operate the way the rest of us operate even when it comes to beef. And so now with the prospect of Leonard coming back home. Gregg Popovich, like most of us is forward on the future. Never looking back. You move on..

"The pride passion and pageantry of college football leaves here. This is the Paul finebaum show. We made it to the final two hours of this week. Glad you're with us. And Bruce Feldman will be joining shortly a busy busy show and mortar com. Let's get right back to the calls at eight, five, five to four to seven to eight five. Michael is in Charlotte. You're on the air. Oh, good afternoon. Thank you, Michael. I'm actually wanting to ask you about the fails cows keeped off games and it come to that that Timur I, I'm gotten some tickets on the side of the bad. Her saag is is when we hang out. Yeah, we're, we're doing our show there that morning actually Friday and Saturday morning. So yeah, we will definitely be around. Awesome. Tom, I'm waiting to see you and I want to say one thing about urban Meyer and I was. That's all man. We'll see you buddy. That was good, appreciate it. Good to hear from you. John and Mississippi is on the. No, hey, John, how you doing. You've been listening to all this stuff today in eight hundred, no facts yet, but couple guys yet till you pretty good. There was some stuff phone make Murphy about. He lied and save him with the with the player. You know, with the domestic charges only me Kipi Mona team. I know what you said. You know, let's dogs save an off though, but the more to the story is is you know, they ain't no fax, still Paul and you want to downgrade a guy. That's thing. I'll keep the media keep downgrading Meyer key pony just t- parpan key carpet. What I want to know is what about Steve sore Qizheng when. Saving her dead Bronx drug head from USC in brought him on board when tipping which was a, I don't know what you call him the troubles he had and. Please, you know. And hired here. What do you think about all that then tried to hire freeze and then see AA stepped in and when they do that. So what do you think about all that. Well, let's let's let's talk about a couple of things that you said there. The NCW had nothing to do with whether Nick Saban wanted to hire Hugh freeze the the SEC stepped in there and it didn't have anything to do with the NCWA. I think it had more to do with the may have had something to do with the NCAA. But overall it was it was there was a resistance as far as our Qizheng. He started as a analyst and yes, he was promoted. I didn't think it was a good idea, but Nick Sabin decided to do it and he was in the middle of rehab, so you can call them all you want. But I have a lot of friends who have gone through rehab and I wouldn't dare call them drunk concerning their fight. You know you coming. His. Breath mcmurphy. No, urban. Slowdown here cowboy urban Meyer admitted that he lied. Okay. When when you when you're li- you're a liar yet, but branding Murphy set the record straight on his story. And he's a journalist and Ingle our, he never seen. Never come out and sit. I I told the story wrong into beginning guys. You know what? I, I don't. You know, you can call breviary Murphy up and ask him. I don't wanna Cawley. I don't wanna to call it. You call it. You ought to get some people on your show. My stick up for married. You ain't gonna do that. Why fake news I told you yesterday, this is CNN versus duct your CNN member. John. Let me ask you a question, John, John, John slow. Now I want let's talk about the media for a second. Okay. Okay. What is your definition of fake news? Fake news is reporting fake news, breading Mojo. Brilliant. What what, what? No, no, it started over again. What is your definition of fake news? I just told you reporting live news. You sat through. Well, that's not exactly what we Murphy did. I mean, he may have missed a technicality, but he's still got the essence of the story. Correct. Nutty said to me was a wrist list, get a straight union. Okay. Well, he also had pictures. He also had pictures of the wa- the ex wife, beaten and bloodied. He had text messages that you don't know that fan bomb. You keep talking. I'll this. That's not this all about..

"Championship couple guys have hit the course and, are twelve and low numbers out there. Raphael Cabrera Baeau is minus five to eleven. He jumped up from minus three to minus. Eight into a tie for? Six place Webb Simpson as played four halls and he said to two hundred for the day and now also eight under. For the tournament all your top players who started today at minus eight or better are. Either just about t- off or RT shortly Shane Lowry Justin Thomas, Jason day Stewart Cink, Tiger, Woods, all at, minus, eight, to, start, the. Day should be up shortly Jon Rahm Rickie Fowler? A little after dad Gary Woodland's. At minus nine as well Adam Scott ten. Brooks KEPCO at minus twelve I let me just. Store your little, info why get to the phones I've already got a couple. Of guys checking in giving me There coaching opinions for this upcoming season there's. A lot of things you should put into. Your ranking I believe as? Dow coaches are doing certainly career accomplishment is part of it Play postseason success and the. Like but the bottom line is it comes down to wins. And losses right that's what you judge by how often you win you lose I, have, the winning, percentages for the thirty two coaches in the National Football League this. Year the five newbies are of course euro zero zero Steed. Wilk Matt Nagy Matt Patricia Frank Reich and my grave will of never coached a game in the NFL. So their winning percentage would be a goose. Egg, right, now so you got. Twenty seven that you can. Rank in winning percentage Bill Belichick career winning percentage is, second he's not I and you're probably gonna wait well Belgium he's, got? Five championships he's gotta be number one now he's. Number two His career winning. Percentage of six seventy nine. Which is outrageously good And that includes let us not forget this his career so is less than stellar start with, the Browns were way went to New England and started doing, nothing but winning there is one coach better, winning percentage than that Last year first year head coach Sean McVay of the Rams went eleven and five so his winning percentages, six eighty eight as compared to bell check six seventy nine We'll see McRae can continue leading in that way Mike Tomlin is third at six, fifty nine Mike McCarthy is, at six thirty three, Doug Peterson light Mr. McGregor not that lengthy resume, but. In, two years you got a Super Bowl pelt dang there's something we said, for, that, and his winning percentage after going thirteen. Three seven nine year twenty and twelve is six twenty five is pretty darn. Good, would rank him fifth as. A, right. Now Mike Zimmer. The Vikings at six oh nine Doug Peterson mentor one Andy. Reid at six o. four all time winning percentage but Andy still, got a goose egg in that, Super Bowl category Dan Quinn as Super Bowl, appearance not, a Super Bowl. Win and, a six. Zero four same winning percentages Andy Reid Whole bunch. Of different, numbers there, Dan. Quinn twenty nine and nineteen career Andy. Reid. One eighty three and twenty and he's, been coaching a long time. But they have the, same exact winning percentage of six off I Sean, Payton's. Pelt, he's got he's got a championship and he's got a five ninety seven, winning, percentage, John Harbaugh has got a belt about. A championship five eighty eight Pete Carroll's got a. Championship under his belt and, he's, got a five eighty six. Winning, percentage. So you seven. Guys who had championships are Carol Harbaugh John not Jim Peyton. Peterson McCarthy Tomlin and that ballot check guy who's got why he, kinda dorms does he he did, the other six eight title app just add, a title, one bell Jack. Scott five So, he they no brainer number one for, me but there's reason to debate you put the young guys. In do you put. The Doug. Peterson Shaun McRae's in as Mike Tomlin better than Mike. McCarthy is Sean. Payton better than both Mike where would you put. A John Harbaugh. In who has a Super Bowl makes the playoffs a lot but doesn't put together thirteen fourteen. Win seasons it's a fun debate you help with it on my telephone lines eight five, five, two one two four CBS for example in the books a. Half hour? Phone calls coming up next, here on CBS. Sports radio by our. Update time, here's, Johnny, fast.

Andy Reid Peterson McCarthy Tomlin Payton Matt Patricia Frank Reich John Harbaugh Mike McCarthy Doug Peterson Dan Quinn Raphael Cabrera Baeau Adam Scott Webb Simpson National Football League Shaun McRae Mike Zimmer Jon Rahm Rickie Fowler Vikings Mike Jim Peyton Rams
