China Sanctions Wilbur Ross and Others, Responding to Hong Kong Warnings
"Fresh sanctions on a handful of US individuals. It's retaliation for sanctions the bite and administration imposed on Chinese officials last week. Over Beijing's crackdown on democracy in Hong Kong. Its latest attack comes just days before a visit to China by Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and US China ties are already tense, though, as NPR's John Ruit reports there is no sign China's sanctions will derail the visit. Sanctions are the first imposed by China under a new law passed in June, which facilitates retaliation for foreign sanctions. Among those it hits a former Commerce secretary Wilbur Ross, and the China director at Human Rights Watch Sophie Richardson. For years, Beijing's responded to US sanctions and tariffs with tit for tat measures in Beijing's calculation, it had to respond to the US Bonnie Lynn, a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, says doing so before Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman's trip makes sense would disappear better if it happened a couple days after Deputy Secretary Sherman's trip that she says might risk being interpreted as a signal that the meeting didn't go well. And Sherman will be the most senior U. S official to travel to China since President Biden took office. Relations are at their worst in decades. But there's speculation that the trip could start to lay the groundwork for a meeting sometime this year between Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. There is a desire to be able to showcase that the two world leaders can work together and part of that is being able to meet and discuss issues they agree on as well as those where they have differences, and I really hope As we see more of these incidents is on either side that they won't derail progress towards the usual meeting because both sides, she says, have significant incentives for Biden and she to meet sooner rather than later. Western Heat Wave Virtually Impossible Without Climate Change, Researchers Say
"When we had our record heat a few days ago, I turned to our friend Cliff, Mass. University of Washington, professor of Atmospheric Science and Cliff told us that if global warming played any role, it was minimal because temperatures have gone up about one degree over 70 years. These were temperatures 40 45 degrees. Above normal. So if anything, climate change contributed to about one degree out of this record, heat will imagine my shock surprise and I When I saw the Seattle Times a couple days ago, and their headline read without climate change record Pacific Northwest Heat wave would have been near impossible, researchers say. So I don't know who to believe. Sound times or Cliff Mass. I doubt if the Times will come on with me. So I got Cliff Mass on to talk about this. Good afternoon, sir. Good afternoon. Okay, so the cell times is directly contradicts because two days Prior to their story on the cliff, Mass Weather blog. You asked if global warming was the cause of the great heat wave and you said Science says no. So here you're telling us no sometimes is telling us? Yes. What are we to make of all this? Well, you know, you've got to look for where The Seattle Times got this information. Basically, a group of people got together and put together very rapidly. This report over a few days. And it's basically a political report. And in fact, it gives all kinds of advice about global warming. But people must do. But if you read the report itself, which I didn't detail its base, it's essentially flawed. And in fact It's not even consistent internally. Um, the headline says, Oh, this thing could never have happened without global warming. Then you read inside the report you say they say, Well, it could have happened, but by by random chance it could have happened by natural processes.

"A couple days ago in Phoenix, it was Reggie Jackson, speaking with the media plan to have changed at all. Forgive one begin to Stars, but they weren't and this is marine and you're trying to clean up everything one that landed in his. I'm showing that just don't let him get some rhythm. Just not letting get too much rhythm. ThinkPad did a great job trying to strike them earlier model up most of the night. I like to imagine I like that matchup. Great player. I mean, you've got a great defender. We got a dog who's ready to go out there and can be you, Jeremy. Night when we got a couple guys during multiple bodies at him, but on like the way that we Defend them tonight and played really well in Game one held him down a little more today in Game two, and no, no, we'll get back to it in game for dredged, having seen what this team has done down so too. We expect for you guys to how do you guys wanna bounce back? Especially this one seemed to be a little more of a stained type of loss and your normal I guess I was thinking to the most people come in sucks to be right there and lose, But it's basketball ball can bounce anyway. So we're confident group said We're gonna put this one behind us. We're gonna go wash film figure out some more adjustments. Things that we can do better, but, uh I like her heart's like rise. I like this team like our fight was in C Can't keep our hands up. Don't move on. We'll go home. Get ready for Game three. That's only gaming matters right now. Locker room like it was all good. It's all good stuff. Tough loss, but we are good. What have you learned about the sons from the first two games that you didn't know? Before the series New since we played him playing three times. They're a tough team She played in the bubble last year. There are on the rise. Everybody does possibly flu. They came out. They stamp themselves barring a great leader in Chris Paul, even playing Tough throughout the whole year. Uh, fortunate to be healthy, build some continuity, So we're playing a great team. You know, we have in front of us. We still like our odds. We still think we're a great team as well. And we're looking forward to game for. Is there anything from your personal experience prior to this season that you drawn when you're down or the odds are longer or anything like that. God's good. I've been injured many years. I was injured in Detroit a lot so Guys good that I'm able to play basketball. I'm just enjoying his gang. Throughout most. We're not there and put everything I can to it. Try to get my teammates all I can just enjoying the game. That's about it. Have you guys discussed the possibility of that law play with eight and coming in what's It looks like you guys were talking about offensive interference afterwards. But as you guys discuss that possibility during the time out, what's the lab was coming. Yeah. Yes, NBA. Everybody kind of knows under the second, you bright and get mean It's just part. So it just seemed like there was a little confusion about the offensive interference afterwards. That's all. So I mean, that's a little robot thing. Uh, it's one of those, you know, inbound. Can't gold thing doesn't matter what's happening. You could just shoot at the basket. Somebody touches it never goes in. So I mean, I knew that I think few of us know which are related to guys. All we're trying to do is get resettled and find a way to get a win in Game two, unfortunately, didn't do so. But you guys love the challenge is kind of like You know, forever rally. We were not We would like to not dig. These are two holes. But we're enjoying again. Any time that you yourself is the challenge. Love to be challenged, Be tested would like to find out who we are all we can ask for his health and And brought here and play this game so that most billion we can the most joyous can play as selfless as you can play for your brothers play from teammates also put your name me back, so volunteer and just give it your all seven. At the end of day we see where the chips fall that's wrong. So we're gonna take you There was Reggie Jackson Postgame after the Clippers won.

Thank you what we're finding to be here. It is and and I'll tell you right now. It appears that we're about to enter. A bit of everything is going to be post. Covid phase in life in the united states. And so i think a lot of shows are going to be doing post covid type of shows and we are. We're going to do one. And and i was thinking that perhaps now might be a good time to rethink what our personal life might look like in the near as well as longer term future and i'm choosing to call this show reinventing your life post covid. What do you think about that. My i love that topic. I love the titles. Because i i do think it's an opportunity for us now to reinvent ourselves to really look at this last year as a our own individual wakeup call into. Who do we want to be from here. Who will you want to emerge into. What are we learning So that we can do things differently from this point forward. That's a that's a great way to put it a wake up call to reevaluate or or evaluate. Maybe for the first time what our life was like is like and can be like as we discussed a couple days ago A great place to begin might be to assess our life last year from what you called a higher altitude asking ourselves what we might have learned from isolation and quarantine as well as from here and frustration. It really impacted us. didn't it. yeah. I think i impacted us in ways that you know. We're still awakening to work. You know we don't understand all of the impact. We know that there for it. Was you know financial or health or just isolation in general and so. It's an opportunity before we go back into business as usual life as usual to really define that and really take stock of this last year. What went well. What didn't go. well where am i. And then and then really have a have an honest discussion with ourselves about our about who we are what we want.

We have to their offensively as a team, and that's what we did. We kept our composure. Through throughout the whole series. Uh, we were we were down. 20 were able to go back home, take care of business and come back. Lose game by being out 15 17, and then I guess all at Game seven. Were able to come here to play hard competing in his possession guard KB James Harden as a team and you were able to get the win. Obviously, we know how hard you play every single game. We saw you take you know it looked like it took a physical toll on how physically exhausting was this series for you? It was definitely exhausted, but it's worth it. You know, it's going to hurt a little bit. I want to be great, and I know that, but at the end of the day he was, it was Game seven on the road. We have to give everything we had. We know we're going get tired after the game, but we give we give ourselves a chance to be in a position to win. If something changes will always make a correction if we have to, But I don't like to leap out in front of potentially explosive stories because you can be wrong and Given the history of fake news media people I'm not going to be one of them. They kind of backed away from web and they went straight into android and ios and then they actually became full circle. Went back to going to adding now a web support so one of the things actually just came out recently as at web is now production quality or say so. You Believe You Have Exactly What Someone Else Needs?? It Is True!
"Right so here is the deal a couple of days ago. I was sitting with a friend at a restaurant and we were talking about guide asking us to give something now. Both of us were talking about monetary. Things and i began to tell her a story of a time one summer where i've been given a bunch of cash as tips as my photography sessions had gone on throughout the summer and i had been saving that cash for something special just for fun money or whatever. It was a very specific amount of money because it was just random cash. And one day as i was driving i really felt the lord. Tell me to give that money to specific person and it was weird. Because i hadn't seen this person while. And i just was like ok. Lord i'll i'll give it to them. You know whenever. I see them next. I will give it to them and in my head. I was actually thinking well. That was just kind of a random thought. Because i'm probably not going to see those people again. I i drove around with money in my car for a few weeks. And i was pulling up to a store one day and i actually saw this person and god reminded me of the money and god reminded me to give it to them so i did. I gave them the money a couple days later. I got a text message from that person and it was a text message letting me know that. The amount of money i gave them was the exact amount of money. They had been praying for literally the exact amount of money which is just so funny because again like i said it was a random amount of money that god has blessed me with to then turn around and bless this family with and it was money that they needed and so as i was telling the story to my friend the other day i began to really think about that story and think about how bananas it was that that exact amount of money was exactly what they were praying for and again had blessed me with it and then turned around and told me to bless that person with him and it was what they had been praying for. God used me to answer a prayer that someone else was rain
US airlines announce upcoming changes
"The news the other day, and in recent days you've noticed the following American Airlines, claiming that it had as high as an 80% load factor on its flights. Number one. That they're announcing. They're gonna unpardonable the rest of their parked airplanes and that most of them will be back in the air. And may we've seen the story that Delta Airlines as of May one, is no longer going to be blocking the center seat, which means they're gonna be selling up to 100% of the capacity of every one of their flights. We've seen. It was let originally by airlines like Frontier and Spirit, Allegiant, Sun country and Southwest about 70 new routes around the country. And all of a sudden in the last 10 days. Here comes Delta and United American Delta, announcing 36 new routes, American Something like 20 and united 26. I mean, what do they know that we don't know? Of course, for the answer that I go to the man who always knows from Forbes. Dan Reed. How are you, sir? I don't know. Thanks a lot, Dan. This concludes our conversation. We should be your only tip your waitresses. Um, no. Uh Hey, Peter, how you doing? Thanks for having me on Yeah. So I mean, how do you figure all this to do? They really see the numbers started not just two inch up, but to start the climb up. Well, you get into the definitional issue there. What's you know how much they're up? But by how much? Department of Tripped a P ECE Castro Transportation Security Administration tells us that on I believe it was 18 days in March. They cleared 1.4 million or more got over 1.5 million a couple days in their passengers for air travelers through their their airport checkpoints. Well, that's great, considering they were down to, you know. 25,000 day at the at the very trough of the, uh of the event last year, um, and hadn't been over, uh, 100 head bit over a man until just not too many weeks ago. It sounds like they're coming back pretty strong. But then you look at the two year ago numbers and they regularly I mean, almost every day. In fact, only one day in March of 2019 did they not have 2.4 million passengers. Air travelers cleared so they've come back some, but they're still a long ways. They're 40% arm or behind where they were two years ago, which is the First comparable non pandemic affected measuring boy now,

Gun Control Legislation May Have to Wait
"Biden's first official news conference, He made clear what his top priorities are the pandemic and infrastructure. And he said gun control legislation may have to wait despite Biden's outspoken history on the issue. NPR. White House correspondent Tamara Keith joins us now. Good morning, Tom. Good morning. What did the president say? And perhaps more significantly, What did he not say about gun control legislation yesterday? Yes. So this came about 45 minutes into the press conference when a reporter asked Biden about specific done related measures that he could pursue, So this was his chance to lay out what he wanted to do what he planned to do, but He didn't really do that. All the above. It's a matter of timing. He went on to say that sequencing is a key to a president's success. And he said his next major initiative is infrastructure, broadband roads, bridges. I imagine that caught some people off guard because it wasn't just a couple days ago he was talking about wanting to push new gun control measures. Yeah, I mean, I thought I had missed something in his remarks. It was such a contrast to what he had said just three days ago when he was delivering this passionate speech, saying Action on gun violence is needed now. Don't need to wait another minute. Alone an hour. To take common sense steps. Oh, save the lives in the future and the urge my colleagues in the House and Senate to act. We can't ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines in this country once again, But

‘Don’t come’: Biden tells migrants to stay away from US-Mexico border
"To come to the southern border where there's been an influx of unaccompanied migrant kids arriving lately, White House Press secretary Jensen Hockey. Asked about claims that border agents are telling reporters that they're frustrated. They can't answer questions because they've been told not to talk to the media know there's Border Patrol agents quoted and a lot of your stories, and you speak too frequently, and that's something we support it. Obviously there's a long tradition of coordinating with Department of Homeland Security. But if we're if our farm policy is Keeping people quiet. We're not successful, and it is not our policy to prevent people from talking. NBC news correspondent Julia Ainsley asked by our own Dimitri sodas. If it looks like the administration is hiding something think it gives that impression. And, you know, hopefully after our reporting, and after this becomes a discussion topic, maybe we will see more access of at this point. I don't have evidence that there is something Being hidden. But certainly we don't know what we don't know. We want to be able to see where Children are sleeping. Are they able to get outdoor recreation time? Are they able to have a shower every couple days? I mean, just basic things. We know when they had overcrowding like this in 2019 Children complained that they couldn't even have enough space to lie down or get clean drinking water and without access. We don't know if that's the case now. And I have spoken to some experts and I know you given your job have spoken to many more who say that if you're in your home country and your life is being threatened, you're not really concerned with what President Biden is saying about Do come here or don't you just take off and you try to leave your country and get to a safe place? How does that factor into it? In other words, Whatever messaging the U. S has It doesn't seem to affect this flow of young people coming into the country right now. Well, you know, I think that's another great discussion. What we hear a lot is that their push and pull factors and you were definitely highlighting this push factors. We know that there have been natural disasters, famine, incredible violence by gangs in the Central American countries that have forced people to leave their homes. But under the Trump administration, they were by and large denied the right to come into the United States even to claim asylum. They were waiting in Mexico for months, sometimes years just To get their day in court to make their case for protection of the United States as the Biden administration ended that policy and then started to allow Children into the United States to claim asylum, the message gets out. And so it could be that if you're considering a trip, this might be the time you would do it. That seems to be a pull factor when we think of push and pull. Of course, people make decisions like this for a number of reasons, but another decision that we're seeing that I would like to highlight as well. Lawyers say that they have spoken to families. Where they may have an intact family waiting on the southern side of the border that has decided to send a child unaccompanied because that is their best chance of saving their child's life and getting them into the United States. Otherwise, if they came as a family, they would all be pushed back into Mexico or deported back into the very conditions that they fled from in the first place. Did find some interesting messages today from Secretary My orchestra's You testified before Congress and a similar message from what we've heard from the White House that they understand. There is a message of hope. The Biden administration wants to send a message of hope to people who are in dire circumstances and want to get the protections afforded to them by international and U. S law to come to the United States. But their message keeps being don't come now wait for us to get the resource is wait for us to get the bed capacity now it's not The time to come, But I think we're going to continue to watch these numbers, especially as they typically rise during the late spring to see whether or not that message of don't come now is actually sinking in. That's NBC's Julie Ainsley on Skype. Anything can happen in March

"People in college you drink too much and then you know you can't get it up to date cocaine. You'RE NOT GONNA get get erection after that and a lot of times. Happens a lot younger guys depression for urines. Definitely not a younger Guy Right? We we all know that you're getting up there in age your gear kind of in the you're getting close to retirement whatever it is. How do you? How do you keep the spice and your relationship and as an old man? That's probably dealing with these chronic illnesses. I. Keeping it alive like insane. No. That's just like the hardest thing ever I mean when. You know, as soon as Isabella goes down then Chuck Bass Wakes back up and then you know I've got a teenager who needs help with his frigging book report would wait until the last minute to do before some reading and it's very, it's difficult. Avenue are pumping out kids faster than a freaking and bugs Bonnie on Easter over there. So obviously, the Roman doesn't mean you still there. Yeah That's exactly right. You just takes one shop. But I'm curious music there is there is this stigma against erectile dysfunction and like you said, ed is very common. But I've also heard this not only for men who feel insecure when they can't perform but also females. Think that is then that like if the guy can't get it up, then a woman feels, oh my God, he's not attracted to me. Obviously, I don't think that's true. But maybe you can elaborate a little bit on that make females who are listened to this right now a little bit more comfortable letting them know that. Hey, if if the guy has retarded function, it's not that he's not attracted to. Yeah it's crazy I mean for guys. It's like as long as it's warm moist it's fine. Sometimes, it's just not moist. It's fine and it's not a big deal. So it's not. It's usually not almost never is sexual attraction. A lot of time like a had a guy who Came to was like man for a year, I've been starting fights with my wife. Because I can't get it up and so at night before bed start fights, and then I'll go sleep on the couch because I don't WanNa be putting that awkward position of having to like get it up when I know I can't and so guys are very. Protective. Egos. Are Very fragile around our member and so it's like. A difficult thing to talk about I mean. It's so a lot of time. You know I don't know why women think it's them, but it's it's just it's just not like guys always want to have sex. A lot of times if they don't and it's there's something else going on. One thing I've noticed in this team I or may have appeared on the podcasts before I. Honestly do not now is my sex drive strongly diminishes if I'm not like working out or like physically shape. So after I broke my leg, my sex drive started depleting quite a bit not because my leg was broken but because I felt. Ending in my torso and my arms like getting softer and there were things like I was like even like Evan just said I was like really down on myself I was like, wow, I'm not. I'm not like as vigorous as I used to be or anything that I was like well, it's probably because you feel like a fat piece. Or language, but that's That's that's where it that's where I ended up. Yeah totally man I mean anxiety and stress are Probably the number one cause of Ed and in young people, I don't know if that's not a medical sight but that's I, mean see that all the time rich just like life is weighing on a guy or. You start to get that little punch and your belly you lose your self confidence and and then it's like, Oh, I don't you know do I still guide them? I still going to impress a breast for whatever and and you know it's it's tough. It's tough to come back. It's actually like this negative feedback loop that sort of spirals down and then. You have one bad encounter and you're like Oh my God, and then all of a sudden it's like another about. Is the next time I go to have sex GONNA like not be able to get up again, what's going to happen. So then then you kind of avoid it and if it's not talked about it ends up being you know kind of a big deal a lot of guys would go to the doctor and ask for bills or something if if they it not tell their their significant. Girlfriend boyfriend whatever and and so yeah, they try to hide it and and sometimes that works. communication is always the best. So, before you go, I do I wanna ask you how do you think we can Make talking about ragtime this long Shin, more normal because like we talked about, it is very uncomfortable hard to communicate especially as a guy start feeling insecure. And we actually just had Taylor no one on the podcast is becoming a sex therapist which is incredible, and she really wants to start normalising just discussions about sex. So we can learn at a younger age about what sex really is, and so I guess, my question is for you like I said. What do you suggest to make the discussion around erectile dysfunction more normalized? I think he got a joke about it. You'RE GONNA have fun with it. You know the memes are plentiful jokes or plumbing you just gotTa like. you know just kind of bring around that way, and especially if you're going to if you suspect your guy might have edu or if he does and he just doesn't WanNa talk about it. You GotTa do like the oreo approach right to do the positive affirmation. I'm really love your deck. It's really beautiful and it's also Like we should talk about like has let's try some of this stuff that's out there available that we can mess around with and have fun kind of make it sorta like a sex toy, but it's like, but it's Viagra. And then. I just love that like I love you I love the intimacy and all that stuff. So view as long as you stroke a guys ego. Can usually no pun intended? As long as you go, then you can usually. that. Was GonNa make another job but I'm not going to. Lose the entry so There we go. Man, we'll Evan we really appreciate you coming on. We really appreciate you facing your raw. Your mortal enemy. Diong and. It's always fun seeing you to interact and thank you for really you know talking about e d because I do think it's important topic. And something that we should talk more about because like you said, it's pretty common. Sure. Love that. Please give my. All the kids. Will never talk again in. My. Lifetime, you're never. GonNa keep going I. Love It. All right. Totally forgot about the the relationship that you guys had God. So go my go I anyway moving along, very scorned and troubled relationship to a beautiful budding friendship We have a dating expert. We've had a lot of you know composers and infiltrators on the podcast ourselves included but we finally have an expert that's willing to help us answer some of these questions right I think we I think, of course, Chris ciders rate here he's Chris cider everybody Jonathan he is the host of the ex boyfriend recovery podcast and you can get that wherever you listen to podcasts. "You. Messed up and I even sharing the stories uncomfortable for me and I understand the the idea of normalizing conversations but you're right there's like this weird underlying. Inherent not even inherent but just talk being we're speaking on this stuff is like taboo of sorts you know I don't think I ever really started asking girl if they liked or what they liked preferred sexually until I was twenty six years old. Twenty, six years old I was sexually. Etc.. What? Isn't that crazy? Yeah. Yeah Well I. Think. That's a norm. was early adopter like when it happened I was like, wow I asked the girl if what I was doing was enjoyable for her I'm like really progressive and cool. But in reality that's pretty bad. Twenty, six executive sexual activity that wanted to figure out to start asking girls they enjoyed it. You know. While and that's part of sex education. That is lacking right. How do we have these conversations? We communicate to each other what we like right and a lot of you know. I'm just going to speak to being a female myself into the women that I know. But I think a lot of women here I'm GonNa Generalize have struggled through identify what feels good for them and what they like, and there's fear and going about how you communicate it right that if you know when you seem confident in it, then you must have fly and he might be turned off and he might be intimidated and threatened that you're saying that he doesn't know how to please you or there's this you know. The lack of even asking what do you like doesn't provide a safe space to even feel comfortable to explore that a and then be to communicate it. So I think that's a huge part of our sex education that's lacking because sexual health includes sexual pleasure and sex education should also include pleasure and being able to communicate that and share with your partner. What you like and we don't like is a huge part of pleasure and health. So. What would is there any piece of advice that you'd give anybody who's listening right now that might be going through situations alert that where there with someone and you know from what I've heard most of the time this happens to women just because it's harder for them to to climax You know, how do I? How do I conveyed to my partner this what I like without them feeling? Defensive or insecure about it I feel like a lot of guys get insecure if they feel like they can't do it on their own though. I'm sure that happens a lot. Yeah. So I I think part of the reason why candy difficult for women's experience or Gaza pleasure sexually in the first place is because of a lack of education around our actual anatomy. A rate. Be I think making sure that you have a safe space to be able to actually explore that with your partner I think it's important in any relationship that you understand that your partner has their own relationship with their body. They have their own relationships sexually with their body that is completely independent of you, and that is not to say that you know that you don't matter or that you don't provide pleasure. But that at the end of the day, you don't own your partner's body. So they're going to experience pleasure without you and that's not a disc at you right so I think that's important to have space to be able to experiment with that and I. It's disappointing because I think like we can use sex as a coping skill just like going for a run. So like are you do you feel intimidated or threatened? Would your partner feel intimidated or threatened if you were having a stressful day and you were like I really need to go for a run? Probably not. But if you were like, oh I, just WanNa have some you know alone time or I wanNA pleasure myself in this way or you know could you help pleasure me in this way like this is a specific way that I want. Why that doesn't have to be. Right I agree with that that makes a lot of sense. It's so funny too especially when educators like yourself. About it. You're always like. I agree with that. Yeah. That makes a lot of sense. But then like you're living your everyday life and you go through it and you're like welcome, it's kind of weird. But then someone like you obviously explains it and you're like, yeah, I, definitely see how there's been a malpractice of this up until now even going forward and obviously Tanaka recession. But Taylor. Obviously we love the SEC`stop. I could talk about sex with you hours and hours and hours and just be. A. Informed and educated on all this stuff. But we do have to get your next guest but before we get to our next guest. We WanNa talk about Vanessa because he loves s she used to be the you know one of the coast you're on this podcast in you inherit her are incredibly good friends as well he's got engaged and that's obviously incredible for incredible thing for her tell us about it because. Since Day one it's always been like, yeah. There are definitely GonNa they're definitely going to be together for Berry Very. Very. Long Time. "Unbelievable live for my bedroom. Twenty twenty minutes and live and live from my van. Now I'm GonNa, go ahead and say right now this is the first time I've been nervous recording a podcast probably since the fifth episode of help I suck at dating I'm recording of my man I am currently stealing some hotels Internet cleese hopefully they don't knock on my window at some point kicking out of the parking lot because if they do Jaji might have to host the rest of this episode by yourself for here we are helped by so good dating virtual live event and they said it couldn't be done but we're making it happen. Oh, they told us. We weren't allowed to have a live event in person. So they waited 'til pandemic for us to have a virtual one, and yet here we are helped by suck data I. No one will also have dating expert coming on later on the podcast you guys can please ask questions I think that will be towards the later part of the podcast. Usually when we do emails instead, we're going to answer your guy's questions. It's going to be a grand old time I. Don't know how that phrase came to be but I use it all the time. Dean how are you doing right now? Where are you? dared what's up man I'm doing well, I currently am. Somewhere near the South Rim of the grand, Canyon killing and I drove out here for a couple of days and it's obviously kind of shocking how hard it is to find why steel around the Grand Canyon area I probably Shoulda post one this trip a couple of days and gallons apartment, but you know what? That's still easy. That's not how we operate over here. So that's where I'm at. We already have a couple of. People that are in the chat room. So we WANNA say harder. Martinez. Go, with like roughly seven hundred and fifty thousand but I like that you're in the seven. Yeah. I don't know for the listeners that are listening to this or watching this podcast. It's weird to say watching this podcast because we always have to say listening I hope you can recall the moment on Bachelor in paradise this past season when I was talking to Ceylan and I said under promise overdeliver and that's exactly what we're going to do here. We're going to under promise it's not going to be a great podcast. We're GONNA overdeliver, and hopefully rock you're freaking worlds so. For two years. Yeah, yeah. Well With them with some open room for debate there But yeah, you're on the head man it's like every time we record a podcast usually doesn't happen but there are times we were like, Hey, could you like take that little snippet of me saying stupid thing out of it and they're like, yeah, sure North thing no problem at all but now Whatever we say has we have consequences of it will be held against us in the court of law. This is also like everybody will watch this podcast. This is a good example of like the two people that you guys listen to on a weekly basis dean, what are you drinking right now? I found a local brewery here near the Grand Canyon. It's called tower station. It's a Nice I. Louis got lunch earlier today and I made sure to put one of those in our in the fridge that way having. A beer in the van, we recorded this this podcast normally I don't drink when I record a podcast but I figure special circumstances and GonNa live podcasts live in the afternoon it calls for at least a beer to celebrate. Yeah. Oh things I couldn't agree more. You got to celebrate gotTa have a beer, but it's funny because you're the cool guy you're in the van you know you got swag or swab whatever you WanNa say you may pardon me for saying slag at one point but drinking a beer and I, and then here I am in my bedroom next to a lear Gabriel very low. first of all so sweet dreams Crystal Love Leo Crystal, I'm in her bedroom actually is the one that signed me up for the Bachelorette. "Hasn't put in a couple days ago and I know a big taxonomic and turned a lot of people is that the state well prices right now yeah someone if you raise that a presence in the if you were able to detain any editorials probably about that the prices because as you know Russia and Saudi Arabia going at it and they're really going at it and by going out to to the extent that they are a the oil has dropped to a point where I'm like it's the greatest tax cut we've ever given if you look at it that way because people are going to be paying ninety nine cents per gallon of gasoline it's incredible a lot of ways going to help the airlines but at the same time it's hurtful to one of our biggest industries that sale industry it's really it's not even feasible what's going on so I spoke to president Putin about that I also spoke to the crown prince about the Saudi Arabia now I think yeah they're going to get together and we're all gonna get together we're gonna see what we can do because you don't want to lose an industrial is an industry over thousands and thousands of jobs we have I don't know you know there's oil over the oceans right now the boats are all filled the ships are renting ships ships that were dying that were doing well and now like there that's where this story well and they're sent out to sea and they sit there for long periods of time this so much well in some cases it's it's probably less valuable than water some parts of the world what is much more valuable so we've never seen anything like it but the two countries are discussing it and I I am joining at the appropriate time if need be we had a great talk with president Putin we had a great talk with the crown prince we also discussed more so with president Putin in this case the virus because Russia is being hit pretty hard and we discussed many things straight we discussed a lot of things with both but in the case of both we very much discussed the oil the oil prices I mean you look it's twenty two dollars but it's really much cheaper than that if you want to negotiate nobody seen that that's like from the nineteen fifties it really is you have to think that it was fifty sixty seventy eighty and now it's twenty two but you know if you put a good bit in at nine I think you could probably get what you wanted right John place up just for that he tweeted earlier today that now would be a good time to start.

"Of these next couple days to prepare the best we can to go out and and executing play games feel we could show the R. co just wants to play you know with a team like this save on believable team speed on defense yet and they are guys and get out to the pass rush after the quarterback in the I. guys they can cover you know when you have those types of things that you're dealing with you have to definitely execute in and can't seem to excuse the best you can be the one that comes on top about tonight's kick off Sunday night football eighteen to Packers nine and one Niners Damien woody on first take on which signal caller you trust more I trust ed Rogers more in the world then I do Jimmy go up low I think it's imperative for the city for the services go forty Niners to get home field advantage because I think that would be their biggest advantage with the way they play defense the way they want a full bowl and with Jimmy rob Lowe brings in bring so that equation as for me another complementary piece that football team I don't know where Raj can can doesn't matter what the way the venue is what's going on there was you can go anywhere any time any place and go get the job done I'm not so sure that the San Francisco forty Niners with Jim yeah rob Lowe can going to any venue on road and get it done Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph fine fifty thousand by the NFL for his involvement in a brawl that began when brown's defensemen miles Garrett hit him over the head with a helmet ultimately the NFL discipline thirty three players for their roles and that Steelers brown brawl at all by the way next Sunday those two teams match up in Pittsburgh college basketball seven the right Virginia again stifling defensively proving to five no limiting you master just fifteen baskets thirty percent shooting in a fifty eight forty six win over the minute men at the hall of fame tipoff Virginia has not surrendered more than fifty five points in a game this season.
