All of the victims are men, their conditions are not known at this time. The residents didn't deserve this. They did not deserve to have people shot in the communities where they live. I'm saddened because I know of all of the investments that the city has made in violence interruption efforts, law enforcement efforts in community efforts, the investments that have been made to stem the tide of violence in our communities. Yet it seems like we have people who are in our communities who just have lost their sense of humanity. That's D.C. police chief Robert Conti had a press briefing earlier last night. So Russ walk us through what happened last week with Jeff. Well, Jeff's house was rated in a pre dawn manner. The Department of Justice came to him over a dozen officials law enforcement officials, including those from fairfax county police department. They were there to raid his house to search it to take his electronics, they didn't let him change and let him get into a pair of jeans. They took him out and made him be in his pajamas for over a number of hours. A complete show of intimidation and for those of you who are following the news like you do, Charlie, you know that that coincided with the fact that he was going to be the focus of the January 6th hearings, the sham hearings going on on Capitol Hill. So on a very in the same week that all of the exposure was designed to show that he was at the forefront of a law enforcement investigation to show that this is the person that they were trying to demonize as part of these hearings. And of course, this is just follow on from Peter Navarro. It's follow on from Steve Bannon. Other GOP officials that we're trying to get a handle on and election investigation were the brunt of similar targeting last week. I know that the situation with Jeff better than the others. Police in georgia are investigating a series of deadly shooting said took place in the atlanta area. Eight people were killed. Authorities say many of them were women of asian descent. Now police have arrested one man who is white. But they haven't said anything about a motive yet this guy. He wanted three different spas agent in spas in atlanta. He shot eight people. Six of them were asian women and one of the things that happened was that there was this press conference matter mayor where start off with chevron's from cherokee county police re talking about the investigation and the fact that they've been getting a lot of questions about you know. Was this a hate crime many. We've received a number of calls about. Is this a hate crime. We're still early in this investigation So we cannot make that determination at this moment. The detectives involved in this case. Were not coming out and calling it a hate crime and that was upsetting a lot of people. But i think what really set people off was when the spokesman said that the shooter told detectives that he shot these people not because of racial hatred but because he was struggling but sex addiction. We still early but he does claim that it was not racially motivated. He apparently has an issue what he considers a fiction and sees these liberal. How do people respond to that something. I think some people thought maybe the police department was giving credence to this claim and also the idea that it was a sex addiction does seem so ludicrous on its face

It is a cool start to the day but woman up pretty quickly on right now we have 55 in Annapolis. It is 55 in Middle River. It's a 25 Joining us now once again is hang on a second. I better not do that because I screwed up last time. The former delegate public, Donna and now Super Citizen Pat McDonough. Good morning, Todd. Hey, Sean. Good morning yesterday, the parent and student coalition in Baltimore County. Along with Super Citizen and the respect the Constitution Law firm held a news conference. We filed a ethics complaint against the chair of the Baltimore County School board, and we're preparing to follow another complaint. In the near future. She sent. I think her name is a key to us. Uh, I don't know what it is saying the tree, Scott. I believe She sent a baseless misleading. Communication to the Baltimore County Police Department, saying that the Parent and student coalition, where a dangerous racist group As a result. She weaponized the Baltimore County Police Department, which then conducted A investigation against the leaders of this group of 3800 parents. And fouled put in the foul. This investigation, which is now confidential, and the parents do not have access to it, So we're also following a complaint with old Chesky. And the police chief as to why without due process based on this complaint that this woman filed that's the chair of the board, would they conduct A criminal or an investigation. It's called a threat assessment against the community group. I mean, they are criminalizing their constitutional rights of assembly and free speech. This group. Sean is just a bunch of parents. We want to make the school system and Baltimore County a better place and they haven't done anything wrong. Is there anything in the complaint from the chair to the Baltimore County Police, citing any specific examples of I don't know reckless, dangerous, racist or whatever behavior she's alleging. Well, that's a great point to tell you the truth. We can't. We don't know because now the police are withholding the document. Are not providing us with the details. So this is someone accusing you, Sean Casey, or one of the listeners of something that is a thread, And then there's a new investigation conducted. And the investigation results or held confidential whereas other police agencies can look at the files or if someone doesn't like your group. They can leak the file to the media. But you have no idea what is in the file. So an answer to your question. We don't know. But whatever she sent over to the police and Baltimore County, it had to be strong because I don't know. I don't think I hope they didn't do it because of politics. That they investigated. But this isn't a danger mint to all of the community organizations and individuals in Baltimore County that a government official can allege something. The police will immediately become weaponized and violate their constitutional rights. Especially when you talk about a group this this large I can I would understand. Maybe if there was an individual within the group Had made a statement that was perceived as frightening or was on offer. Whatever I that, that I would sort of kind of understand, but against an entire class of people is very disturbing. Number one. And the police can say that there is an open investigation. So therefore they can't share any of the documents or any of that age until the investigation is complete. Now you could, I would think file a freedom of information. Act request with the Baltimore County Police and Baltimore County government. Have you done that yet? Yeah, that's in process, but they have said that they confirm they did the investigation. Confirmed that it has been completed and they confirmed that they have found nothing. We want them to expunge all documentation related to that investigation because that can be used against you. Just the fact that you were investigated. If you want to apply for a 501 c three, you know, nonprofit. It can be used against you. So you know we're going to take but we have taken respect. The Constitution has taken four legal actions. Against the board, and one of them is a complaint with the state on We believe this was a retaliatory action by Scott the chair against this organization. These are mother's parents. You know, it's a colonel problem run up against the heartbreak here, but well, I just thought the audience should know about. Thank you so much appreciate that and keep us updated on any developments in this case. Appreciate that. Its former delegate Pat McDonough, It's 8 30 on your listening to K C and company on Wcbm.
