"With two, three feet of snow on the ground. It could be really brutal. Last year, my buddy killed a really big Tom. It was like over a 180 pounds, which in Montana is pretty much unheard of. And it took them 17 hours from when they turned the dogs loose to get back to the truck with that Lion. Wow. And what are you typically using as you can do with archery or gun, right? Where you typically using? So I always prefer archery tackle. It's just kind of my go to and when I can hunt with a bow, I'm going to pick up my bow. But lots of guys will use just a short barreled 6 5 creeds or even smaller. They killed that cat with a ten millimeter clock 20. Okay. Last year. Wow. Yeah, they didn't even take a rifle because it just got too hard. They actually had another person with them that was going to shoot the cat. And couldn't make it because it was. It was just too far too far. Oh my gosh. So they just took we all carried Glock 20 as our side arm and bear country. And with lines, it's just always good to have something. Yeah. And they got to the tree and they were just going to retrieve the dog because once you turn the dogs loose, like it is your responsibility. You have to. You're committed. There's really no call on them off of it, like even with the E callers. And you lose service on them super quick in that country. So you have to get to the tree and you have to get to the tree as fast as you can because when they're sitting there being at the tree, they're the perfect bait for wolves. Oh, wow. Then we got a lot of wolves in there. We'll just kind of know to come in. Yep, they'll just come in and sometimes they'll eat them. Sometimes they'll just come in and kill them. And we just walk away. It's like a territorial thing. Yeah, and so my best friend, he can hike. Like he can hike fast. And as soon as we let the dogs go, whoever's with us, it's like, follow our tracks, like you'll see us at the tree, because it's just got to get there. Yeah. I can't wait to keep up. Just go. Just follow our tracks and get to the tree when you get to the tree, but we have to be at that tree as fast as we can. So, I mean, how long does it take? I mean, I guess it just depends on as far as you find tracks, and then you let the dogs loose. You can kind of tell if the tracks are recent, right? Yeah, so especially in the snow, like you could tell if they're old or new, you know, one day old track, two day old track, you know, smoking hot fresh track. And you're just looking at the way the pat is at the ground, you're looking at how it's melted, if it's frozen. All sorts of different things. And then obviously like the dogs will be the key teller in that situation. If they put their nose in it, there's no scent. It's not a good track. And then obviously there's different scent conditions. So if it's too cold, since not good, like the sun just doesn't stick in the snow and stuff. But yeah, I mean, we'll find tracks, you know, at two in the morning, and then you sit on them until sunrise because you can't let go until the thumbs up. Yeah, so we'll just sit there and wait for them because it's pretty competitive. Like there's not very many spots where you could easily access the spots where they go, but lots of times these cattle, especially the toms, they'll be cruising to look for females. Right. And they'll cross these main drainages, these main thoroughfares, and you'll just have to get in there away is hike these trails. Like, we'll go to several different trails. Hike two miles in on each one. Has it become more popular to do mountain wine hunting? I think so. I think it's a little bit of a fad in the hunting space right now, especially in Montana, like it seems like everybody wants to get out and chase cats. But it's growing in popularity, but the hound man community isn't really growing. People. How do you, if you lose the GPS signal on a collar? How do you keep up with the dogs? We'll just get on the track that was sent to the GPS. What have you got no snow? Are you all running dry ground? No, we don't like dragons. I have to do it. I have one buddy who runs dry ground, and he has really good dogs for it. But most of the dogs we run over really just won't take a drag round track. So there's more scent in the snow as well. Yep. Yeah, and then they also see the track. So like when they're running, they're just looking at the track. And running. And then when they get to dry ground situations like the scent doesn't hold as well. At least for a longer period of time. Like it has to be super fresh. And it's really hard for a lot of dogs, but I have another friend who has phenomenal dry ground dogs. I watch those dogs track a cat 8 miles. Yeah. There were little patches of snow that the cat may have stepped in once or twice. But it was solid majority just dry ground. And he goes and runs them in Utah, so lots of dry ground running down there. Yeah. And that's a little different, but the GPS does have a saved track of the dogs. It does. How many like that? All these hogs here, we've run dogs here for, you know, for hubs. Very similar, but down here on the flat ground. I mean, you know, most of the time, it's a mile, maybe two miles at the max that you're actually trying to follow on a GPS. So you got the GPS signal in a lot of ways. And I'm sure you can hear the dog, you know, bay and just like we could hear dogs. Down here. Absolutely. But I was wondering in those mountains if you could even hear..

"Other things that perhaps someone like me can share is that they tend to smell of Woods. They have thin, soft fur, they have intense eyes. When one looks at you, you feel like it's weighed you at a glance. And they are intelligent. And curious, and yet nervous at the same time, yeah, and then the other thing I'd share about them is that they always appear. Anyone who owns a cat will know this. Imperturbable. But on the inside, I think they're actually a lot more going on than we think. But on the outside, they just look like calm is a cucumber. No. I think the house count. There's a lot of comparisons right with your regular healthcare. Absolutely. Yeah. We've been fortunate to spend some time in the field with Mark and I think you've got an image of that first image was one of the cats that we captured, wasn't it? Go back to that. That's right. That picture just described just what's going on there. Yeah, so we actually caught with your team. And we caught two in one day, which was special day. And but this was an adult male. He weighed about a 175 pounds. We allow people close and connected to the team to name the cat. So this cat was named by a tribal elder for the low rel clam tribe after his grandfather. As Moses. So Moses is actually easy to identify because he has a dark, dark nose. And a wide nose. I remember him being huge and you commenting on the T is big. I think a hundred and I remember you doing the math that day as well from kilos to pounds up to 75 ish pounds. Didn't you say he was one of the biggest or the biggest at the time? He's the biggest we've card in the north, last year, I think it was, we have three capture teams, one led by this coconut tribe, and they caught a 185 pounder last winter. So that's a big animal. Very unusual being that sort of size. Oh, I mean, I'd say average is more like one 65, but they have the potential to continue to grow. We think through much of their life. And so the older they can and then good genes that can be big. It must also depend. I'm already wondering off script here. I can't help it when it comes to talking to you about these cats. It must also depend how much food they have inside them, right? Well, not just food inside them, because they do vary from 15 to 20 pounds at a time. Just whether they're full or not. But also the kind of food they eat. So the cats here which eat the largest Elk subspecies in our country are equally large to take down large prey. Wow. You're clearly an animal lover. Is that something that you've had since childhood? What got you? Where was your childhood and where? Tell me about your childhood remarks. Where did all this begin? Since birth, yes, I was born in England, and a successful what I call a successful collaboration. American English collaboration. My father was a U.S. Military stationed over there and met my mother..

Are Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian Knocking Boots?

"Now I want to plug to the world is absolutely upside down. But today you've probably heard all about this, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were spotted holding hands on a roller coaster at not scary farm in LA. People magazine's got the scoop, I love the scoop. Yeah, like no one called them. I'll get to that in a second. I don't think this is real. But somebody is telling magazines that the situation between these two is just friends hanging out, which is what I think. Although somebody had gawker, they've confirmed they say that Kardashian and David's and by the way, you think they're like kind of the same age. She's 41. He's 27. I always think of him being a little older than that. And her being kind of younger, but no, 41 and 27. Wow. She's like a goddamn cougar to him. So people like gawker is saying they spent the night together at an LA hotel on October 28th. And not scary farm is not that far from Calabasas where she lives I'm wondering why they even have to do that. I don't know. These two might seem like a non couple, but the connection if you think about why they were together it makes sense. Pete Davidson is friends with Machine Gun Kelly. They did a movie together called big time adolescence. And Machine Gun Kelly's latest album is produced by Travis Barker who's engaged to Kim's sister, Courtney, and Barker, by the way, let's not forget this and all the smoke and mirrors. Buckner had a one point set he wanted a bone Kim before he even got to Courtney. People aren't talking about that, but that's certainly true. And let's also not forget that Kardashian did kiss Pete Davidson on Saturday Night Live last month. So that is some people thinking, wow, wow, did that kind of awaken some kind of lust in her heart? I don't know. I don't think

Q&A: Why Do I Still Crave Attention?

"I don't have a therapist yet. Currently looking for a trauma therapist. My parents divorced when i was six. My mom's boyfriend molested me at age. Nine she didn't believe me for a long time. My dad came back quote as friends to help him get up alcohol. I think i was about twelve at thirteen. I was raped by my boyfriend in field. I started running away from home. My dad left because he couldn't handle me running away. I started doing drugs and being promiscuous. I stopped at seventeen in got with my now husband. I have cheated and have six kids. But here's the thing. I still feel the need to be wanted by other people liked. What sam forty. I have twenty year olds my. Dm's wanting me to be there. Cougar actually want people to want me. My husband chose me affection. Don't get me wrong. But i would like someone else. Allies the time to. I can get where my fucked up past 'cause my bipolar depression anxiety. Ptsd but to be like this. What the heck. Thank you for listening. So good question. I think there will be elements of this that resonate with a lot of people here So thank you for asking it. I'm glad that you're looking for therapist. You mentioned that you're looking for a trauma therapist which is really important because not everybody does specialize in trauma work so really good instincts there to be looking for trauma based therapist Also just want to say that. I feel for you. You know. i'm. I'm sorry that you've been through so much you didn't deserve it. You're not responsible for it. And i'm glad that you're here that you're alive and able to ask this question both for yourself and for anybody else that benefits from hearing what i say to you. So thank you for that. And as i said. I'm glad that you're here. This is sort of a complex layered question. I think there's a few important threads to tease apart here. First off Let's talk about desire versus action right. Because i think it's one hundred percent absolutely totally normal to have attraction to people other than your partner that you committed to that could be romantic sexual or otherwise But i think that this is something that society and movies and Maybe our own sort of internalize. Jealousy tells us that we're not supposed to do that. We're supposed to somehow turn this off completely when we commit to being with another person romantically and you know people are different. There are certainly some people where the romantic or sexual interests and other people really fades or dwindles or basically goes away when they commit to somebody. But that's not the case for everybody and there's nothing wrong with that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having Feelings right what you do about. Those feelings is a different story right. You're allowed to have whatever private thoughts you want. You know you can enjoy whatever kind of attention you might run into in daily life But you need to make a choice about how you engage with that with those thoughts with desires without attention. Whatever it might be you need to make a choice about what you do about that. How you engage with that. Are you going to be actively drawing in that attention playing into it. You know actively flirting are you allowed to talk about attractions with your partner with other people. What are you gonna do about that.

Baylor Or Houston, Who Looked Better?

"Toss up. Who looked more impressive last night or baylor baylor to me houston had a big lead and they let it slip away and they won the game so good for them but baylor looks better and better to me every game that they play date. They were sat down for about three weeks. I think they missed on corona virus protocols and they lost a game maybe their second game back against kansas but now that they play with regularity they just looked better all the time to me. There veterans they're juniors and seniors. They're composed they can take you off the dribble. They can win games. And i think we're going to get to the point. Knock on houston where we end up with the one in the two and the three team from all year long right and that is the right to have that could happen. I don't i don't care about that. Like upsets in my tournament. But i'm going to say tony. You have the same answer. That i mean baylor you talk about guard play and the tournament that you and i do appreciate guards dominate tournament. They got their deepen guard play. I mean smart tough athletic gar play they come at you and waves sort of like the old houston cougars. You know guy. V lewis is houston teams and yes they had a king but they also had just wings in guards who just smothered you. That's what baylor looks like that. New York Lawmakers Expected To Legalize Recreational Marijuana

"15th state along with the District of Columbia to legalize recreational marijuana. State lawmakers are expected to vote on that later today. Officials say they hope to create a regulated industry with tens of thousands of jobs while ending racially biased drug arrests. NPR's Brian Mann reports. Police across New York State still arrest hundreds of people every year for possessing small personal use amounts of pot studies show people of color are far more likely to be prosecuted for marijuana possession. Senator Liz Krueger, a Democrat from Manhattan, says her bill will end that. I think it's a huge change. We're going to be a sponging the criminal records. Of tens of thousands of people. Governor Andrew Cuomo says he'll sign the measure. His office estimates annual tax revenues from legal pot sales could eventually reached $350 million a year with his many as 60,000 jobs. Cougar says the law directs those benefits to neighborhoods hit hard by addiction and high arrest rates. 40% of the revenues That will come out of the taxes from legal marijuana will go right back into those communities that were harmed by the drug wars. Critics of this bill acknowledge pot legalization is unstoppable. Sandra Doorly is a Republican prosecutor who heads the New York State District Attorneys Association. We understand that It's going to be reality. Doorly worries The measure doesn't give police clear authority to deal with motorists impaired by marijuana. If you legalize marijuana, and you stop someone who you believe is impaired, you know, how were we going to be able to prove it? Democrats agree It's hard to detect motorists impaired by marijuana, and they're backing new research to develop better roadside cannabis tests. Recreational use of marijuana remains a federal crime. From Public Defender To Stanley Cup Champion

"So joe for those who might not follow the nhl super closely. Can you just give us a sense of what jon cooper has accomplished during his as a coach in the nhl. Definitely jon cooper is the longest tenured coach shell. He's on an eight th anniversary of his hiring on this week. The winningest coach in franchise history for the lightning. And i think he's highly regarded as one of the better coaches in the league and probably a candidate coach team. Canada at the next olympics are positions and olympics for the trump player so deadly highly regarded coach but up until this past season. He hasn't won the big one and that was kind of the big question surrounding it. And how would you describe his personality. Well he's a players go. She's a really fun personality. Like you quotes wedding crashers. Upper seventy six. No excuses public champion. You uses a champion. The only person you have to answer to when you go home at night is really yourself. The national media loves him because he is a great world this charismatic. You're going to get knocked down. There's no question people are going to push down. Because ultimately they want to see it fail if you think maybe teams on trips to like field of dreams when he was in earlier years coaching. He's all about the different sides and binding guys together on the ice and that if you get is connected as a group and the for each other and very process over outcome kind of guy and so you definitely has that charisma that makes them unique. I think the players like that. We'll show you recently. Wrote about how jon cooper has followed perhaps the most unconventional path of any stanley cup winning coach. So take us back to the late. Nineteen ninety s. What was john. Cooper's lifelike at that time he was living in a condo east lansing area couple remains but he was just trying to figure out where you wanted to be in his life. What he wanted to do for work. He was good ball. Charismatic lawyer but his heart wasn't in it always always wondering when is the fulfillment. When are you going to sit there and wake up every day and say. I can't wait to go do what i'm gonna do. He was defender district court in lansing michigan about a thousand dollars a month. You know we're going for indigent clients. He was working on. du is having divorces. You've got a two person law. Office him in a paralegal. He's still didn't know i guess. Were taken at that point. And you got in touch with the judge. Who worked with jon cooper back. Then what did he say about cooper skills in the courtroom and you just notice and how clients clients listen to prosecutors respected him i think is the kind of ability that transcends coaching the ability to persuade players to adopt your system or just believe the approach. So you know. He's he's a good salesman. He always says convincing players. Convincing a jury and i don't think he knew then that it would be kind of the key to him. Maybe starting coaching career. So how did jon cooper go from being this lowly paid lawyer and a former lacrosse player. Who had only played a year of club hockey in college to being high school hockey coach. Well the run in his son playful lansing catholic high school and they needed a coach and so he knew of john skills on the ice and new of his charisma and then he is asked to one day in the building. I saw the coach. would you be interested. He looks at me and goes. Dc the stack of resumes. I have he says. I'll tell you one thing you coach kids high school hockey team and i will take your resume from here. We put it here. Just this exactly. That was his first kind of foray into coaching hockey. Was nine thousand nine hundred nine hundred thousand lansing catholic cougars hockey team and that was seventeen. You actually talked to some of the players on that lansing catholic team. What did they tell you about jon. Cooper the high school coach. I think what's interesting knees. They remember the first meeting in the cafeteria where he's using himself to like twenty kids and parents and those us have just nervous as they were and are waiting to hear whereas the hockey background. Who did he coach before. Because one of the red wings was he part of this huge talk about law school in wall street and this guy another guys were in the nhl players. Even highly college players inducted himself would be anywhere high in coaching world. A reflection of guys play together. I think they'll be the first ones to tell you. None of them really on the track to make the national hockey league but they were such a joy to be around the competed their butts off just line. Who an awkward gesture. The of funny kid and team talked about like there was a hill just a mile from the school that the workouts outside the big hill. The he must've just saw he was driving around and he made us run up this hill with do bear calls and stuff. That is the source. I've ever been my life like. I could not long like off chris. Monrovia now works the red wings. Illitch family talked about how they had this practice where they had no on the ice and they're doing push ups and sit ups and kristin ross. Who served in the military students in afghanistan he goes. I went through the army for seven years. And i went through a lot of work out a lot of hellish days. Afghans dead. That's one of those days that i think back much. It's not as bad as back. And what else did you learn about his coaching philosophy back. Then you know like what were the things that were important to him that he really emphasized to the team. Making guys feel connected or part of it no matter if you were the best player on this team or like the thirteenth forward and i think jeff swan is appropriate examples. Like i wasn't the most natural coordinated like county out now who put me not aligned with the two players. Mike sack out with the most gifted athlete. That are high school in you. The team is better holding. Some of its part. They wanted them to play. Have have meaning and swan. Storing the biggest fools that season the most for player that year. So you know. He's told everyone the most improved player really halls like a special place for him. Something he takes lightly. It was a really really nice compliment. They talked about the hard hat that they gave out. After every win which was an all white instruction half that was something that the player of the game whether at block shot or a big hit or in ceremony the post game. We'll get this production. How they put their name and a sharpie but it was more of a. What did you do to help the team. Really recognizing layers who maybe didn't shop scores sheep but who are just dedicated themselves to helping the team. These success those are moments that came together that they remember forever and become an integral part of their story on a way to winning out like the championship. Well this sort of ragtag bunch of guys did win an unlikely state regional championship in almost mighty ducks kind of way and joe as you talks to all these guys who played for jon. Cooper what connections. Were you able to make between cooper the coach of the lansing catholic cougars and cooper the coach of the stanley. Cup champion tampa bay. Lightning guesswork me. Talking to guys. That new men who've now that he hasn't changed much in terms of his personality he had kind of style which coach's house you through professional level versus coaching. high school. Kids a lot of the same kind of tenants but he had then he still uses today. Kerry that floss with me all the way through the nhl in onto the honestly. It doesn't really change. Human beings are human beings and everybody needs to be motivated. It's just finding the right way to motivate. Rose stood up in my living room and watch the game and cheer tampa. You're welcome. you're welcome for started. His rise

Interview With Jeremy Scott

"Good morning bob. This is nicole phelps. I'm the director of global vogue runway. And i'm here today with jeremy. Scott jeremy on or you. How are you jeremy's mosquito collection and video have been all over social media for the last twenty four hours or so and chances are you've probably seen it andrews christian madsen who is a colleague of mine at vogue runway. Put it this way. I thought this was a great quote. No one has quite aced this digital moment in fashion history. Like jeremy so we have lots of questions about how it all came together. Thank you very much for being here with us. My absolute love all right. Well you know i am. In addition to reviewing some shows all season long. I do a lot of editing. And and i thought anders made some really great observations in your piece and you said some very interesting things which i want to quote here. Which is you said. You use the term comfort sh- mumford and you elaborated to say what we need now. More than ever is fantasy and glamour. And i obviously don't disagree. But i am curious for you to talk to us. About how the way you design and what you design has changed if at all after a year in in lockdown amidst the pandemic. Well i think you know very well watching my work. That i'm a very devout devotee of high octane glamour. Always and so. That part really hasn't changed. I might have put the pedal to the metal a little bit more this season and last but i think what's changed a lot. It's kind of like what we're doing right now. Everything i'm seeing are through screens. I did my fittings through screens through something like this. You know thinking about how the work is seeing. It's all seeing through screen so i'm looking at it already. My work is very Theatrical and very photogenic. And i think of it in a way how would be finally consumed always but now it's almost entirely consumed at this moment via screens. So i've i've been watching it in a different way. So while doing the fittings with my team and milan and they are doing the actual pinning in the actual adjustments for me. And i'm directing it in in a manner like this. I'm watching it in a in a in a way that takes away that that moment of being next to it and there is something i think that does give it a little bit more of remove that makes it a little bit more in a way precise i know sounds kind of weird. Did say it that way. But i don't have the emotional moment of the model in front of me and everything happening live. I'm more dissecting it. 'cause i'm looking at through a screen and i am. I am removed in that respect. So i feel like part has changed and maybe even well i feel. That's a good segue to talk about the the collections last season to refresh people's memory. Jeremy did a fantastic video where he turned models and Front row goers in into marionettes and it was a huge ships are on vogue runway and an across the internet. And what you did this season was you. I would say paid homage to a very famous movie. Called the women from nineteen thirty nine george cougar film and s specific seen so specific fashion show scene. Can you tell us anything about your experience with that movie. Maybe when you saw it for the first time or why are you. Liked it enough to recreate it for this. Absolutely i verify brain to even remember when i could have seen it first. 'cause it's one of things that feels like it's been with me forever. I think any real fashion fan would put this on one of their top. Ten list of you know old hollywood films especially ones that have a fashion show in it. One is really the creme de la creme not only. Is it beautifully done. But also there are the costumes by adrian who is also it's such a icon for so many fashion designers and having done all the most beautiful all hollywood glamorous films and costumes at that time but beyond the costumes i think for me is is really the fact that the film is only women. There's only actresses. There's not one time. There's a a a male actor in the film even with a voice. So i love that because honestly as normal is that maybe should be today. It's still not normal. Hollywood for an all female cast to be able to carry a film and not film doesn't so beautifully now specifically for the scene that was inspired by is the fashion show scene in their out of salon. Which is such an you know. Typical historical fashion kind of scenario. And this was more like the the dressmaker salon. Instead of. maybe the paris couturier and they're coming to choose the their guard the road for the season. I wanted to kind of think about all the things that they would need to wear now again thinking about the time of the film. These ladies did not work. They were not having jobs their characters. Were you know really dependent upon men. So i wanted to start mind with them. As busy businesswomen in takes of the pin stripe suit these kind of business looks that would be putting them in charge. And not you know quibbling about the fact that they're working they're only working you're working for them and they're not working for you

"In almost every contest. You simply have better athletes on one side of the ball, and it's not just football. It's basketball with which your aficionado of And actually today, December 23rd is a 38 year anniversary of probably the greatest upset in history of college basketball, and it's a game between shaman Odd and Virginia and shaman. Odd who no one had ever heard of. They'd only been playing basketball for seven years at that time. You go down to the Maui Invitational, and this was just not your average Virginia team. They were led by Ralph Sampson, who twice been voted national College basketball player of the year. There guards were Rick Carlisle on wholesale. Wilson. Both all Americans, and this Virginia team had already beaten Duke. On the road by 13 that already beating Georgetown in Georgetown. Georgetown would advance to the finals that year and lose to Michael Jordan. They even beat the Houston Cougars and Flash flash Slama Jama. And what was interesting is that game wasn't supposed to happen. The Cavaliers had tried to schedule a game with Hawaii and it fell through. I don't know what happened. Maybe they're having covert then as well, but the bottom line is shaman. Aunt says. What player? It was an exact It was a mistake. And at the time of the contest, Virginia was number one team in men's college basketball. Well, shaman on one 77 72. I covered the Michigan Appalachian State game September 1st 2007 You all know what happened there? It was incredible. At halftime. I went over to the Appalachian State science and what's going on here? Who are you people? What? We're from Boone, North Carolina. We get a bunch of Florida State players. They did. I don't want to go to school there can't get in there. They're legit athletes. That was not. There were 40 point underdogs. The quarterback Armani. Edwards went on to play for the Baltimore Ravens. They had to lock down cornerback that were outstanding. The thing about it is When you don't have a legitimate true playoff, we're going to deny somebody the opportunity for what I would call the legendary David Glass Sports story sports stories that people could never seem to get enough of And when you just missed the competitive nature between two combatants when they enter the fray, form and function takes over and usually pregame expectations or set aside. Yeah, I get it, Bama. They're almost automatic. They haven't won this thing every year. Well, and let me jump into is you can think of plenty of upsets, even in football right in the argument. And listen again, to be clear because people listen to my show on Saturdays. Victoria's You always say You don't want to expand the 14 playoff. I have said that I have come around to. It least the notion that it might be time to reconsider it because Bernie not only are there not not only have there been these great historical upsets, but how about upsets between two teams that are maybe a little bit closer on paper? Then a shaman. Odd in Virginia. I mean, listen, we all remember where we were when David Tyree had the helmet catch with the Patriots in the Giants, You know, like like we were all we all remember, by the way, the two guys that host on Saturday mornings on Fox, Reggie Bush and Matt Liner. We all remember where they were when Vince Young beat him. And so there are so many upsets across sports where I am I'm coming around to, and I've always been the type of person That says, if you know if we're not ending teams that can win it. What's the point? But I think we're now at a point where it's the same 33 teams every year. You can kind of figure out who we're going to get in. And until we do something about it, I think it's time to expand. But go ahead. And I just want to say one thing If you study the history of Florida State football, starting in 1975, and how Bobby Bob Bowden Built them from nothing to what they are. It started out as well, Play you anywhere anytime and as such, he was able to create these great matchups, Get money for the program and get top flight players in Florida State became Florida State..

So I help sort of create new projects identify need identified the conservation issues for mountain lions across their entire range. . So we have projects ranging from up here in Washington State all the way down to the southern tip of South America. . Wow. . So it's a huge I know panther is a huge. . How did you get involved with Panther and how did you get involved with mountain lions? ? Indeed it's You know it's all dumb luck. . Great. . <hes> panthers a as he said, , it's a global organization. . We work to conserve wildcats and they're landscapes around the world. . You know it's How ends up doing what I do is. . Is Sort of a circuitous journey. . One never really has plans or at least if you do they tend to go out the window and and life happens. . So I tell folks because I get asked this a lot. . You know you must have always planned to be outlined biologist, , and now here you are. . Say absolutely not you know you. . Have a plan. . Talking some U C bear cats cheer Cincinnati since he will win and they won today in the semi finals of the American athletic conference with a sixty six sixty three victory over the shockers of Wichita state. And now it sets up a rematch with the Houston Cougars tomorrow. Three fifteen looking forward to it. Can't wait UC's got the opportunity to end this two game losing streak this year against a Houston. Knock him off win the American athletic conference tournament championship and get a decent seat in the NCAA tournament. Tomorrow. It is selection Sunday the most awesome time of the year for a hoops jonky like this guy, Mike and Fairfield Nike. How we doing her set time of year? Maybe yes, sir. Brother March madness. Oh, man. You know this team they wouldn't make you pull your hair how that's right. I'm saying migraines heart attacks, nervous, breakdowns is or anything else. They can give us. I don't fingernails. Anyway. They were ten twenty one. That's gonna kill them Houston today. Almost bullet game. Team for twenty seven. That's terrible. Never been that close. You gotta figure that both of them will be better tomorrow. I would hope they're going to have to be. But I'll tell you. I just wanted you see this weekend to get to the finals and have another shot at Houston intervals. Yes. And got that they can't beat them while they can't beat them. But I think we can. But it's going to be real close. If they do, you know, Houston, good era. There's somebody to worry about in the tournament. There's data belt. You can win the moral that may up a little bit. Up to maybe seven I want to get up to six. Yeah. They could go somewhere. You know? This team is close games. They they they drive you crazy, but I'll tell you. They stepped up in the second half. When was on the bench. He didn't do much in the first half. But. Him and boom, and and Scott. Brooke very well. Except remixing free. Throws, you know. But boy, they just. Broom exploding through the lane. Man. Shop. He he doesn't lose his job. Shooting and he'll keep attacking the real nice that driving layup night's dream by Cumberlander to get him free at once he gets Steph. Well, forget about it. But they they rebounded. Well, they defended pretty well. The trouble keeping at one guy out on the wane. Oh, yeah. But but. Jaren three for sixteen. You worry about his is he beaten down. Well, he's got to be somewhat tired. But I'll tell you what they they got step up. Trayvon Scott's getting better as a shooter in more news that he they they got some help off the bench today. They needed. Time. Greg Marshall ever lost three times. Yup. Three times. Because either helluva coach, and they. That was terrific defense down the last winter. I just this is what they hang their head on. You know? And I mean Xavier couldn't couldn't close the door. Right. Greg Goodall somewhere. He was just awesome. And. When when they when going over tied in didn't hit that last shot, which I thought he should have pulled up and shot a jumper instead of that runner. But still when he went over time, I figured going to win, you know, they just know how to win those games. But. Eighteen how they're good in IT team. But boy. That was a tough one. Season. Pretty well. But they had they had to win that and they didn't. But I'll tell you what Davis should be real tough next year. Real good. No doubt. No question. And now, you know, Travis steals had his first year. Be pretty good. But I'm telling you, I just want the Bearcats to somehow first weakening to get to the Sweet Sixteen. I'm totally satisfied with this season. Yes. I really that's what a lot of fans have complained about big time. Could they should've been there last year? Oh, yeah. Oh my God. And Tennessee Kentucky getting day. That's one of the best games. You've seen all here, man. I wanted I picked Kentucky to win that. But I really wanted Tennessee to win and they. Boy that grant Williams. The player is writing Chris sparks who ahead on early before the game. He likes Tennessee. All I know. Yeah. Awesome. Yeah. I told you in January, and I think he did to the Tennessee first ever final fourteen. I think if they win tomorrow, they beat Auburn. They deserve a warrant. Yeah. They'd be thirty four. Two wins over Kentucky. I mean, come on. They beat. If they put Gonzaga one line, don't put Tennessee there. I'm gonna be mad. I agree. Who do they play? I know they beaten. You're exactly right. I'm telling ya Sweet Sixteen every year, even Italy date, they fold well, they did have a hell of a team two years ago. And almost won the championship. I'm telling you. I think Tennessee if they win tomorrow, and you never know about harbor because they might have a day where they fire those threes in. But I think Tennessee wins tomorrow should be a one. I really do totally agree. And if you win tonight. They should be a one because they're they're up all night with North Carolina. Oh, yeah. Oh god. Win or lose. Well, yeah. And virginia. Carolina's probably a two, but I'll tell you what. Michigan. Michigan state. Michigan state beat them twice. Yes. But I don't know if they can beat them now. Awesome. Day to day in the tournament. Be wine is. They get those guys to play out of their mind. And all those teams you're talking about the national champion is gonna come from. Yeah. Absolutely. I mean, you can't win the national championship. But but I love him. I want to get to the Sweet Sixteen and it we'll see if they do. We'll see what happens. But boy what a what a run. I love the fact that Huggins had a bad year West Virginia, but they played well, and you. Well, I'll tell you. Gas against campus. But I stay really look good tournament survey. I love him and they kill me every year bracket. The final four. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I really believe Tennessee wins tomorrow. They should be a one. And if they could get to the final four that Williams Scofield and bone. They got the big three. They're they're pretty good. And they've never been to the final four Tennessee's never been. And it's amazing. I think they're going to. I like what the Bengals are signing a few players here. They are. And I talked at length about them. And. I don't know anything about the wellness. He's a right guard and bringing him in he's going to be you're right guard. All right. No fans can't fans forget that. The Bengals were for one last year. Injury. Started a countdown. Some of these guys are going to be back. Okay. Preston Brown in Keith Carter. I tyler. I just got. Ryan glasgow. Right. So Carl Lawson, right? Yeah. Dolphins washington. I mean, yet they'll be healthy. And now just keep adding right? They miss Lawson. Did he really did? And I'll tell you what we'll see what kind of offense Zack Taylor puts together. I'm not worried about their offense. I'm concerned about their linebackers Home Depot, and we want to get rid of. Okay. That's fine. But not this early. No chance. No. That's true. Bring you what kind of she claimed the best of him. I I totally agree. Your you're should be in now. Right. They should be in. I think. Head to beat Indiana. Yeah. And they better not put Indiana, and they'd better. Not put Texas eater. I'm sorry. Roll their schedule was terrible outside the conference. I don't think they deserve to be in. But they might get put in and I don't. Okay. Put Belmont in. I do too. A tournament team. Good chicks are we'll talk to. All right. You bet. All right. Thank you very much and wouldn't be shocked at all to see the Xavier musketeers in the NC double A tournament. How awesome would that be Xavier? Join northern Kentucky and the UC Bearcats. Well, and it just reminds us of how lucky we are to live in the Queen city. Fantastic. Sports town, the reds, the Bengals UC's Xavier northern Kentucky and professional soccer..
