"That you will have in your life, and listen to yourself, listen to your body. A lot of people second guess, you know, God in the universe gives you these different types of cheat sheets and clues. You know, you can watch Barry and David. You watch xenomorph, Kobe Bryant. You can watch the inspirational quotes that they've said and things like that. So study it. If you want to become something you have to be it, you have to be around it, right? I'm a behavioral analysis. I have to say, okay, you know what? To understand a serial killer, I have to go within that serial killer's mind. I have to study that person to understand the basketball player a doctor, a lawyer or whatever it is, I have to be around it every day. It's a 10,000 hour Malcolm gladwell theory, right? You just can't just, oh, wow. I watch a couple of highlights, or I did this and I didn't go to any games. It doesn't have to be your game. It could be an opponent's game. It could be a Friends game, you will still learn something from it. So I say that to all the younger guys, if you're not studying the game, and the game starts with inside oneself, then you're going to lack, and you're going to miss all the possibilities that the universe is gifting you. So. Going back to everything, the sacrifice is understanding your boundary. So you have to sacrifice, no, my girl, no, my dad knowing my mom knowing my Friends, I'm going to study, and I'm going out to do play ball. A boundaries. But if you let everybody in your boundary, you're going to miss studying, you're going to miss hooping. Oh, your mom, dad. But you have to understand those things. And once you start to understand those things, which are uncomfortable. And I say this all the time when I'm speaking to kids or grown ups or whatever it is. At a very young age, get to the answer fast, what does that mean? That means whatever the uncomfortable feeling is, get to it faster so you can understand how you are when it does happen. Quicker. So when it is uncomfortable in life, you yourself, because you've done it so much, you are comfortable now. In uncomfortable situations. Because LeBron James and Stephen Curry and all these stuff got attacked the other day. The ref should have called it. He was mad as heck at the ref. Oh, he was so frustrated. And instead of him, after he got the set, you know he did, scored 11 straight. Because he's understands the game so much he's been around it. That in uncomfortable positions he was comfortable. And that's what you have to be. You have to put yourself, calm your

I'm not just saying this because he's here, but Barron was such an amazing, just a talent. Like, passed the ball, get everybody in it. He didn't really have to shoot the ball. Him and Jason Kidd to me and, you know, Magic Johnson and, you know, it's so many of them. So I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you magic. I'm gonna give you Jason Kidd is my next one. I go baron. I go Steve. And I mean, it's so hard. Well, jump out when I played, right? Okay, whatever. Well, magic wasn't when I played, but everybody else was. It's hard man, 'cause I love Steph Curry. I love him so much, but I think Steph Curry is more of a because my point guard and I have to explain this because my point girls are like baron Davis. My prank rods are Jason Kidd. My point guards are a Magic Johnson. My point guards are like Mark Jackson. You know, because they were past first, even Steve were more of a score. But like these guys would pass and not just pass because you're passing, but just pass because it's like playing chess. They were like playing chess in the game. And watching them, it was amazing, you know, Steve Nash and, you know, Mark price and John Stockton. That's right, hard to really give you a top 5 because how I looked at a point guard was making sure everybody eats. And Steve did that, right? Steve's getting 8 assists in 9 assists a game, you know, Steph Curry, you know, he gets his assist a game, but certain guys, that's what they did first. They did that first and I think Steve was just an athlete, you know, Steve was just so amazing. But I would go magic, I would go Mark Jackson, Jason Kidd, Mark Jackson. Barron and John Stockton, because it was just for me being a two guard, you know, I'm running that floor. I knew what they were gonna do. You know what I mean? So, you know, and then, you know, I'll trickle with my other guys after that. Okay, so. I'm gonna name my point guard and I'm just gonna give him a jump shot because he did everything great. Jason Kidd, that's my point guard, and I'm gonna give him Steph Curry's jump shot. Or even Mark prices jump shot. But everything Jason Kidd to me, he was 6 four. He was, you know, strong, he played D, he got everyone involved. Jason Kidd can win a game on ten points, 8 points. And everybody's eating. Like he was fast, right? He has anticipation skills were off the charts. His basketball IQ was no other. I mean, you don't have to be 6 8 or 6 9. You don't have to, I mean, you know what I mean? He just 6 four. Super smart, he was winning since he was in high school, grade school. I mean, really, did we lose? And you know, we're just Stephen Curry shot, you know what I mean? Just for me, that's the perfect kind of point guard. Well, I think there's a few different things. That we have to really understand. As mentors first is be vulnerable when you explained when you explain to younger guys how to become the best version of themselves. And when I say be vulnerable, let them know you were scared. Let them know that, you know, the night before this you did that. You know, you have to be very specific, right? It's gotta be, it's gotta be humbling. And then now when I go into that perspective or that explanation of what you need to do, first you need to understand yourself and your limitations. Then you have to understand your boundaries, right? Because I think to be successful, the most important thing is your boundaries, right? Whether your mother, your father, your girlfriend, your Friends, your boundaries, you have to be strict with yourself and that's what Kobe did. You know, he getting arguing with mom and dad, right? He can argue with this person. Because he understood his bound. You know, he had boundaries. And I think that's the first thing that you have to understand is being strict with yourself, understanding that it's okay to feel anxiety to feel fear, to feel pain, to feel scared. And once you really start to embrace that and understand those uncomfortable feelings, then you start to introduce them individually within oneself and say, okay, listen, I know how this feels with 5 minutes left in the game. Okay, this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to breathe. The rim may change in the ball ain't changing. It's just your mindset's changing. So how do I control that? So if we can start at a very young age learning how to control those things, I think that will help you get to that next level faster, right? To that next chapter faster, right? To finish this whatever series of books

"And he came up to us, Steve and I, he said, something that we're not used to. He said, I think you have to start sharing time, but the rookies. So we were like, wait, what? We're not fit 6 years. We talking about this is prime. We can get this team popping. What are you talking about? So I didn't like that. And it was my contract year. You know, and I'm shooting 40 something 44 from three. Listen, we not gonna do this one, buddy. They gonna have to wait. And jameer was my young boy from Philadelphia. You know, he from Justin. And then, you know, your Deshawn Stevenson, you had Keith bogans. We had a strong, young team. And, you know, I asked for the trade. And you know, the GM at the time, he was my guy. He tells me he says, listen, what do you want to go? So I'm like, you know what? What are my choices, you know? He gave me his cup of choices. He said Sacramento, I said, yo, yeah, I like Sacramento. Those guys pass the ball, they play well. They're winners. I'm going over there. So we were going to Boston. And he told me not to suit up and literally right before I went out on the floor. And I knew it was a trade now. So I go and get traded and I go to, you know, I get the Sacramento myself or Doug Chrissy Doug Chrissy went over to Orlando. I go to Sacramento. I would baby Brad Miller, Chris Webber, Paige's story. I mean, Matt Barnes was there as my guy, I love him. Kevin Martin was there. It was a nice group, nice group. We are, we did pretty well. We lost to Seattle in the playoffs where ray and Rashard Lewis, but you know, we had a nice route. We had a nice group of guys. Mike bibby, I got one year with Mike and Mike was his IQ super high. You know, he wasn't as athletic as a Steve Francis, you know, not too many point guards was like that. It was baron Davis and Steve Francis. In my era that were the most explosive point guards. And for Mike, in myself, Mike was a fundamental expert, you know, bounce passes, you know, chess passes, shoot the ball, the right way, you know, get off the ball kind of thing. And when I would Sacramento, the whole team had such a high IQ and Mike leading us and when you have a Chris Webber and then you have a Brad Miller, they were point guards as well. So it was easy to score with that type of team and having, like I said before, having Mike bibby in the backcourt with me. I think as much as I love Steve, you know, coming into the league. I think Mike and that team made it easier for me. To score. You know, I'm scoring 18 points shooting 47% from three and 40 some high 40s from two. And it was very easy. I didn't really have to dribble the ball this much. You know, Mike didn't have to do the ball as much. It was more so passing cut and come off a screen. So, you know, you know, Mike definitely deserves his flowers because he, to me, was one of the best point guards, especially Myra. And, you know, for me, I said to myself, this team was going to win regardless. Whether he had me or not, even though American 18 points, it's going to have, they're going to win, 'cause they were coach well, Rick Edelman, you know, Pete, you know, all those guys. And I said, you know what, I want to challenge. So I was a free agent. So, you know, my steak was high. So I said, it was Kobe was first, because Kobe's a free agent as well. So it was Kobe first and then it was someone else on me than someone else, whatever it was as far as the shooting guards, as far as reagents, top shooting guards. So, you know, I said to myself, I said, yeah, man. I didn't like LA. Did not like yell at it, because I'm from the east coast, all that fake stuff, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. And then I get to LA and it wasn't so much about LA, you know, me growing mentally and maturity wise, it was more so the people that come to our latest acting like there's something different. LA was amazing. The people from LA, the outdoor scene, the activities, the whole thing was just beautiful. And I'm like, wow, I said, you know what? I was in Spain. And I said, you know what? I'm going to try LA. I'm going to try to not call Sam cassell and I said, yo, what's up? I think you should come with me, man. And we can really turn this organization around. And at first saying it was a little more he was a little reluctant. And then he set up, yeah, Kat, let's do it. So we go to LA. And you know, I knew the history of 14 plus years, no playoffs. They always lose in, blah, blah, blah, blah, the whole thing. And I said to myself, it was more so a challenge for myself. It's like, can I help lead a team, Houston Rockets you make the playoffs? Sacramento, you make the playoffs, right? And that's why I was a little, you know, but heard about the Orlando because they lost, they only won 18 games a year before. So for me, I'm like, that would have been great to go there and help those guys, you know, uplift those guys and things like that. And that didn't happen. So I took it as more of a challenge going to the Los Angeles Clippers. And getting them to the playoffs, and you know, just seeing the faces of kadeem hardison and Billy Crystal and, you know, Freddie muniz and all those guys that were loyal fans for so many years. And once we clinch and we make it, I mean the city, the stadium, everything was just amazingly beautiful. Sam was a yeller, but it meant he meant it in a very uplifting way, right? And if you didn't have tough skin, it was kind of hard. But again, Sam would kind of get you out of the holes that you were in mentally, right? Because he would attack and then he would slow your brain down a little bit or he may give you the ball in the easy spot. Just different things like that. But I met Sam, my rookie year in Houston. And another underrated point guard that I love to death was Nick Van Exel. And him and Sam were tight as vice grips, okay? So they took me in. I was their guy. And they would teach me certain things along with Alvin Williams, just how to attack the game. How to play hard, how to do those different things. And, you know, for me, I think it's 2004, 2005. My 5th or 6th year is when I went to the clippers, and I was sitting there like, you know what? Sam was a fridge and I'm like, Sam, I think me and you should help the clippers, man. I think we can do this. And at first, he was like, nah, come on, cat. Are you serious? The clippers, I'm like, say I'm telling you, you gotta help them brand, you got Corey magda. You got a nice little unit there. These both of these boys average 20. They're gamers. All we gotta do is change the mindset. And having Sam, I don't think people really understand how lethal Sam was. Sam, he may have been scared or fearful inside, 'cause all of us have these emotions, right? But there's a certain amount of people that never show it. And he never showed that, right? He wanted to win all the time. And he would let you know that. Whether it's practice, you know, shooting drills, just different things like that. So I was blessed to be around a person that was so competitive. At a very young age in NBA, right? Because you can easily be around somebody that's a little docile, a little, you know, don't want to be competitive, things like that. But I make the next

"Basically. Derek Fisher is like so many winners on that side, you know? And, you know, Kobe and Shaq and those guys were so blessed to be around so much winning, especially at a younger time in their life that even when adversity would hit, you had the GPs, the robberies, and the Phil Jackson and the text winners to kind of settle you, you know, and you know, I believe in, I believe in these type of destinies where when I was a rookie Roddick roads, it was 6 guys that were in front of me. And when I was rookie Roddick rose, who I loved, he was the amazing playful Kentucky. He was all around player. And he tore his shoulder, and when he tore his shoulder, that gave me a little bit of room to come in and play off the bench. And then Scottie Pippen, I mean, the gods, the basketball gods, and the universe kind of helped me and pushed me forward because my two favorite players coming out of college was Scottie Pippen and Eddie Jones. I literally had that basketball cards in my wallet. So Eddie Jones was a close friend of mine because he was a temple. I'm from Philadelphia. And then Scottie Pippen, I didn't know from a can of spray paint. Just so happened that I get drafted to the Houston Rockets, the Scottie Pippen gets traded to these rockets. I'm like, oh man, come on. It's too much, right? So, you know, Scotty pushed me and just to be in a part of all of that. For me, man, and going back to this 2004 and watching that on being on the floor, watching those guys, it's just a certain destiny that, you know, we, you know, you have to really absorb and really enjoy the moments, right? And I don't think I really enjoy the moment as much as I should have, right? And really took everything in it. And the person that I admire the most out of anybody I've ever met in my life that I've really seen take the moment and not care what no one said is Kobe. And I care what no one said, but literally because some people, they absorb the moment, they work hard, but they don't really become selfish within themselves and say, you know what? I don't care about nothing else. I'm going to be so good that it may tick people off, but I'm going to stick to my destiny. And you know, a lot of us veer off, you know, we veer off at certain points in some comeback and some don't, you know, I'm just looking at something about Tiger Woods. And it was just that, you know, him maybe doing whatever he's doing in crash. I don't know if he was alcohol. I don't know what it was, but today is just that laser focus for a certain amount of time, Kobe's always had from we were kids. Until he passed, which hurt me a lot, you know, 'cause growing up together, you know, that's one of your peers, one of your brothers that you kind of inspired you to become what you are at that moment in time. And some people you think is going to live to their hundreds, right? And he was one of those guys. But you know, it's just one of those moments, man, where, you know, it's numb, right? Being on that floor and then having so many greats on the floor, and then you say to yourself, damn, man, I'm a part of this group. You know? So, you know, it was special moment. And I should have seized it more, right? I should have really seized it more, but again, again, it's an experience that you really have to go through first and just to enjoy the next time something blessings like that happen. You have to be aware of them. Yo, we gotta tap in real quick. Let's hear a quick word from our sponsors. It was a point in my life where, you know, I'm gonna go back a little bit because, you know, I thought Steve Francis and I would retire as rockets, Houston Rockets, right? I thought we had a great year. The year we were traded, just that we've, you know, we just so happened to be at the super team, but the Lakers when they had Gary Payton and Kobe and then Rick Fox and, you know, Karl Malone was at the fore and she killed nibbles at the 5 and then you had all these guys coming off the bench that were amazing, you know, Derek Fisher and all those guys. So, you know, the we lost in the 5 game series. They went on to lose to Detroit Pistons that year. But, you know, it goes back from then and at the time they were saying he wasn't trade, Steve and I, we were fine. We thought we were fine. We were looking at when they were building new arena and we're helping design the uniforms, man, you didn't even, you know, you couldn't expect that at all. So we go to Orlando and Orlando, the year before, only one 18 games with Tracy mcgrady in those guys. So we had just lost it, you know, the people the guys who lost to the super team who lost to Detroit. So I'm sitting there like three starters go from, I think we're like third or fourth ranked in the history defensively defensive field goal in the league ever. At the time with Tom thibodeau and Jeffrey Gundy. So I'm not thinking we're going anywhere. But, you know, we get traded, you know, this business and Tracy mcgrady, juwan Howard and three other guys, ty lue. He goes over. It's 5 of them. Go over to the Houston in myself, see Francis and Calvin kato three starters from the Houston team goes to Orlando. We go and we start winning, we're in the top in the east at the moment. I get hurt. I get a little knickknacks or whatever thinks my calf or whatever. But we're still winning. I'm shooting 40 something percent from three. Steve is doing his thing. Cato, Dwight Howard was a rookie, Jimmy and Nelson was a rookie. He to turkey who was coming off the bench. Grant Hill was at the three. We had a great squad. And then it took a turn. It took a turn because, you know, Johnny Johnny Davis was our coach, and we were winning.

I'm going to name my point guard and I'm just going to give him a jump shot because he did everything great. Jason Kidd. That's my point guard and I'm going to give him Steph Curry's jump shot. Or even Mark prices jump shot. Listen, I've never played poor guy in my life until I was a rookie year in the NBA. And if that ain't the heart of just get thrown into, you know, especially when you have a Scottie Pippen in the chemo one and a Charles Barkley, man, you know, you had to limit your mistakes. I didn't really have to do much, right? I just control what I can control. You know, I was topping assist attorney ratio. And then when you have those guys like that that are so good, you know, you don't have to play with the ball this much, right? Hopefully y'all don't get stripped. And then, you know, you pass it inside and go to a corner. So that was my rookie year. I made all rookie team doing that. But I credit a lot of that to my rookie year preparation of playing a point, or just, you know, being a basketball player period. But actually playing the point was to Alvin Williams who played footballing over and then he played for Portland in Toronto. So he helped me with a lot of my point guard skills growing up because album was always a point guard. So he was, you know, the smart point guard to get everybody involved. And I think for me, being in my rookie year, I just wanted to be on the floor. So the coach told me, you know, you got to pick up trash, you know, after games, then that's what I had to do. So that was my thing. I encourage children, younger kids, whatever the position is in any sport that controls the game. The playmaker, I think you should learn that one first. Because see when you once you learn that when I think the whole perspective perspective of the whole spectrum of the game opens up, right? So when boxing, of course, you're your own point guard, right? But in football, I was a quarterback, right? And then I moved to wide receiver, but then back to quarterback. But it shows me, you know, my old line, in my back, my back feel my receiver's slots, you know, post oh my guys. I know exactly what I know my def I know what the defense is going to do to us. So I'm understanding the game from a bigger perspective than a three or a four or a 5 man, or two, even a two guy, right? They just learned in their positions. So it's for us as point guards to get everybody in their position because he would the coach usually does is a culture say, yo, listen, cat. Listen, we're going to run this play and then we're going to run this play. Then we're going to run this place. So you got to remember three plays. And if you score rookie year and Rudy tomjanovich was like this, if you scroll on that play, run it again. Keep running it. And then don't look over here no more. If you don't score, run the next play. So now I got to maybe four or 5 plays down down the line. I have to remember the next play, and then put everybody in a position. Now I got to figure out, okay, the key mics it over here, this person likes it over there. They were hot over here. I'm becoming a little more strategic of how I, you know, enter the game mentally, right? So can I get Corey maguette, the ball early so he can get us into bonus early as a team because myself saying pacelle and Elton brand attacks the rim. So if Cory gets us in the bonus early, it kind of we dictate the game. It's like just different things like that. So, you know, I advise any younger person to learn the point where I position just for that perspective, right? It's just like, you know, I'm a single dad. So I have my own household. So you're not cooking in the cleaning and it is and the kids in the packing and lunches and I got to do it. You know, and as much as you want, you know, the family, 'cause the mother doesn't make some job as well. But you know, as much as, you know, you can't depend on someone else to do something because then when they're out there, what do I do? It's like, yo, turn the channel for me. And then they go and you're like, I don't even know how to work the remote. It's like, I need to learn how to do all this myself. So I think that perspective is being the point guard in life, right? And you don't really have to really control it, but just understand it. So when those people are not there, then your leadership skills starts to kick in. You know, when Steve came in, you know, he was phenomenal to me. It's a lot of people. You know, he's super explosive. I mean, he was the only guard that I saw on a nightly basis that would get ten, 12, 15 boards. And this is at a time where barren and Steve were the shorter guards and the league and we, at that time, in the early 2000s, at that time, the league was predominantly 7 footers. So you was an inside out game. And these guys are going in the attack and the Jermaine O'Neill's in the rashi Wallace's and the Tim Duncan's list goes on Lonzo mornings. It didn't matter. And to see Steve every single day. Regardless of hemoglobin being an older or Charles Barkley or Calvin kato was younger at the time, practice was even amazing. And he kind of taught me how to attack the rim because I picked up a ball at 13. I wasn't even the basketball player. I was a boxer and football player. So in playing basketball, you know, what guys better than you, I think that's what helped me elevate watching Steve crashed the boards on offense and dunking it over big guys. I think I can do that too. So I think that's what helped me with Steve was to use my athleticism to the best of my ability. We had a really good squad as well. I mean, Steve was at the one I was in two. Jimmy Jackson was at the three, who's amazing, you know, all around player. And then Calvin and Yao Ming. So we had a really great squad and we had guys coming off the bench, but you know, just to see that team, what Gary Payton, you know, who's one of the best point guards ever. And then you have Kobe Bryant, who's arguably the best you guard ever, you know, and then you have Rick Fox who's one of the best role players in Derek Fisher's coming off the bench and then Carl Malone, one of the best power forwards,

Tell us about what we're going to see if the big three I missed some great, um, Fireball three action, you know, guys going at it. Playing three on three at the highest level. Uh, we got some great Names, you know, like Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson and, uh Swaggy, P Cuttino Mobley, Josh Smith, Jared Jack, Nate Robinson. So you know you're going to see these guys who we've seen on the NBA courts throughout the years you'll be able to see them now on Big three basketball court. Going at it, man, half court ferocious, professional and fine. Want to go back to the whole thing when this whole thing started. What gave you this idea? Just going up love in three on three, Um and I didn't think about it much. Until I start seeing these tournaments that they would put on for the weekend Warriors. Take a couple of different companies had three on three tournaments, and I was like, you know, why are they doing this in the parking lot like Why isn't it a professional three on three meat? That you know that kinda laid there for for years in my mind and Then I saw Kobe players last game like 60 points. And what hit me was there's nowhere else to see him play. You know, even if I had money, I couldn't You know? Hate to see him perform at the highest level against his peers. So, um That's what really started there. The idea of You know what if there was a professional Brown three league and you had professional players come in the league and play that style of basketball, which is extremely famous all over the world. How was the recruitment process of what these guys are done with their NBA career? As I assume that it's not too too much arm twisting to get them to come and play for you? Not true. I mean, a lot of guys play overseas. You know, there's still just because the NBA told him that they didn't have enough room for. Um these guys are a and Every different country. You can name playing professionally, and so you know, you have to. Really, you know, persuade guys that you know this league is great, too. It's not full Court five on fire, but it's It's uh, it's a brand of basketball that most people play actually more than five on five. So, um, guys come in, and they see how it's ran and how we, uh Take care of our players, and they want to play again in America. They want to play in front today, Um, fans in front of their friends and family. A lot of guys have kids who are the real little when they played. In the N B. A. And now their kids can really understand, so they want to see them back in. Back in the game, so it was cool. As you know, we got guys who You know, Some guys are Early thirties. So the more you win, the more you make, uh, even the bonus at the end. More you you know if you know, first place you get first place mining your last place you get last place money. "Invisible opportunity. I think they did man. I think we're seeing. I think we're seeing steph curry on east. I didn't think. I think this kid is scary. He's really really. He has everything he needs. He's got a roller. He's got a shot blocker in two in collins right cappella. You have their super-efficient right the top five in the league as far as this right from points a player with You got tray and cappella and trey and collins I mean it's like over a hundred and something points combined with the both. I mean as far as it says it's crazy so you you think of hundred combined but the to like i would you have that you have these deadly shooters on the wings and this kicking you go. He can shoot for forty and he gets inside the lane. I don't see how phillies going to. He reminds me course steph curry but when you write you can't touch him. Because he's so savvy with the ball that if you try to physicality ben simmons or danny green. They're gonna call a foul so it let them roam freely and then he's. He's such a great shooter. I don't i don't know what i'd do. You trap them if you travel in. They swing swing swing. Read this kid back. I mean it's just it's too much i just don't i don't see how they get out of that trump. Oh i was talking about the footballs. He was thrown in that game believable. Hey ryan okay the nets and bucks game to no hard and can they win this ryan without james harden if he has to sit out this whole series or not they can. I think that they showed that In game one ultimately like like casino. Said i agree with you. Gotta put some respect on blake. Griffin's name because that's a that's a that's another guy. He played great ryan diving for loose balls Fighting position doing everything dogs three pointers. He was a it was a maniac out there. He was great. And i play with blake before and one thing. That's very underrated about blake is his iq. He's a true student in a game at times. Bg was almost too smart. I used to tell them. Bg just go play basketball. You have excellent instincts. But his ability to play make any knock down a few three pointers which really opened up. The defence barat would impress me most and i think a lot of people took this for granted. He's not a shot blocker but blake is incredibly strong and he just held his ground against jaanus on a few plays into me that keeps him in the ball game. The nets have the ability to go straw. Go small excuse me but him able to guard young. It's at the rim. Was it it absolutely impressive. And keep him from getting downhill but rob. I'm to ask you this. Kevin durant was garden brook lopez. How much of a problem cannot be milwaukee. They don't take advantage of that. Matchup bio pairs on the block or the bucks done. Well it'll be interesting because obviously they shot a lot. What were they six thirty or whatever and obviously they're gonna shoot better than that but durant and kyrie shoe great from three to five fifteen or something or somewhere around there but anyway my point is yeah. That's gonna be interesting to see what they adjust to try to just go in and and and take advantage of that too high. You know what i mean. And the they're put in again. I always look at it too. Is you know you don't need like three is a luxury when you have hard. And i'm must saying that they don't need them life a lot easier but you notice ryan to study in the nba. You can win a championship you can. You can win with two guys. Now you're right about that and you know it's funny. All year long was what was the narrative. They've only played seven games together. How they gonna look. We'll the irony is the regular season was plagued with injury and the postseason has been plagued with injury. Miss some time. Lebron had been hobbled. Anthony davis was out. You know. hopefully we don't have any other injuries. But the irony is and like i said that gift rather than a curse curses brooklyn was used to play without one of their big three. All you know what one hundred percent and that helped to reserves the other players all year joel guys and.

"Okay let me. Let's start here before. We get to brooklyn and milwaukee about the tip off in brooklyn. What the clippers. We were just talking about that. I can t no. I think it could be if they get to the finals. Of whatever turning point in the franchise down to nothing you know losing the first two games at home down thirty to eleven in game. Three and kawhi leonard goes off and turns the whole series around their comeback win. It could jump start a franchise in an organization to finally shake that tag like you know. Gloom and doom. Nothing's ever gonna work out and they came back what you think about the comeback. And what the clippers did you know. I i loved it. I think what. What t- lou was when he switched out patrick beverley and put reggie jackson in one. Two is There's a the offense is run a little differently You know you still see paul struggle. You know five fifteen five for sixteen or something like that From the field so he didn't have the best seven game Seventh game but What i love the most About that with the guys that were resilient right. They didn't they because listen dallas. Had them like this last year and they came back and squeeze it out right so i'm sitting here thinking. Is it tied lou. Is it the switchover. Reggie jackson was dallas. Just you know just have it. Don't i don't think porzingis was in the game. Truthfully because you know comes out that he wanted touches. So i don't think in ryan knows this. If you don't have touches and you offense the player the rest of your game kinda suffers and mentally him playing the four and not getting touches you know throughout the series that most of the season. I just don't think that dallas was at their peak. Even though luca was you know beyond amazing i i just don't think they got a best dallas team you know so i as much as the clippers did well resilient of winning game six and seven. I wanna see how they do well in this. Next series casino was so maybe what's up oj five. I don't just grinding a casino. You have never gotten the credit for your game if you plane. Today's game i. I see so much you've been told you obey baby. James harden as intelligent players counterpunchers. You make the right place. We talked about the clippers. We've compared brooklyn to the east coast clippers. The way that they were able to assemble around that big three of their when james harden young casino went out of the game and the early moments in brooklyn took care of business. Can we signed sealed delivered a championship over to the nets a it. Did you feel that way. Them knocking off the bucks like that. I feel that way i listened. Kevin durant can carry a team career in any day and blake griffin. You gotta really realize had twenty and ten career hat twenty five thirty five right right exactly. So it's not like he was he had bombs with you have guys that are like illegal right. One was one of the best in the league. A few years back and forth needs went down right and the other two are still that right. Top five damage ever want to one. So it's not that. And then milwaukee to is that you know they had it. They had little rusty. They had some days off. I uni wage six hundred thirty something. Threes that you made and you know they boxed it in and when you box if you're not making threes than your boxing on on your honest it's kinda hard to win if you're if you're the bucks clan and that type of office so i say that to say listen brooklyn. Did they stop. They wanted home like this is supposed to do. I just don't think right now. We're excited about that. i need to see brooke. I need to see the bucks. Comeback have really good shooting night and see where it goes from there. Okay i've say. Kawai and kevin durant and shoot degrading grady from three. I i think they were five for fifteen or four for fifteen. It wasn't that grady. But but you're right the bucks didn't this this game two will be interested. Our guest this katina mobile former nba veteran. Hey who do you like in. The phoenix series. May that that's going to be good. I like phoenix for the simple fact of being a guard Being a smart guard these two of the smartest of the smartest guards and you have baby. Kobe why i mean look there when it comes to and i've always been a fan of him since the summer league before he was even pro Footwork i think how he leads the team and yet you have monty williams. Who's the solve a year. You have chris. Paul who's teaching them how to win and how to really manage the game right and i think that's what it is for death And when you had those two guys in a game right you know that you know if i got the ball in my hands and we're tied up or down one we got. We got a right high percent chance of winning. Because i'm going to dictate exactly how the game goes whether it's files it's it's time out like Exposing the week defender Guys open. I mean you have chris. Paul and devon booker doing that and devon booker. I mean the way he shoots me outside his membranes. Just post up some taking to the basket is like could see no. I'm on my ass. You to put your coaches had on a lot of people don't know versus out analysts coach. You can do it all and you still got gain casino dodger you right might value. But i'm gonna ask you to be tai lue going up against utah rudy. Gobert is absolutely excellent. Excellent potential defensive player of the year. Is this a series. Where you'd matchup with zubac botch big for big with him. Or do you go small. Enforce them to have to post you or you kind of play back and forth. what your thought process. What can we look for for the clippers vs utah. I don't think they did a bad job with dallas bakes. Now you you're looking at like you know you come in. Utah does a lot of dribble weeds and pick and rolls. So then there's a gobert is is to the basket right This help side is going to be needed. And when the clippers. The clippers are so unique. They're like average six eight right beside greg jackson. These guys they can switch a lot but zoom that an amazing job of getting his hands on the ball even donald bogue put the ball down by his waist. And you know unicorn that he didn't really play physical. I it's not like rudy rudy. Office a player just that when they do that. Pick and roll. It's hard to cover a seven ten guy rolling to the basket right so With a lot of those three point shooters and a lot of A moot rudy. I would put me personally. I will put It I would keep it small right and you bring you bring in the big. You bring the big in when you want to file a little bit but you change in the game because now rudy has come outside so now when he comes outside kawai come in there with the mid range and paul coming in with the mid range and all those guys rudy's outside it helps them better helps the more Because they're more membranes killers than they are. Three points take a casino. Last thing we've got about a minute left did philly blow a golden opportunity. I mean they get thirty nine out of embiid who people didn't even know of us gonna play or not and they still couldn't win at home. I mean i was stunned when i saw the score. You know an and how they made it close and came back at the end but they were getting blown out in that game today.

Reggie jackson reggie jackson patrick beverley monty williams thirty Kevin durant donald bogue Paul kawhi leonard porzingis Kawai chris two guys greg jackson last year Today twenty Three points kevin durant Gobert

"And he's shot sixty percent from the field in this series. Which was incredible. No coca is on another level right now and like i said luca is one of the rare guys who can control the game but kawai doesn't in a different way. He's not the vocal leader. He's not outspoken. but ultimately he's going to get busy on the defensive end of the floor. I thought that he finally slip over in guarded. Luca as a primary defender tyler who say that for game seven he. He was excellent air but just the way that he scored a basketball man. And when you talk about the faith in the clippers people also don't understand rob paul. George didn't have a training camp. Paul george had surgery on both shoulders. The one mistake that paul george had is. He stepped in the playoffs and called himself. Playoff p by when you're little underhanded you don't raw attention to yourself. You don't need to do that right right. The other guy they got. The guy who pooh-poohed messed up dennis schroder demanded to start instead say turn down his extension and said you're gonna offer me a whole lot more money and i hope he gets the money but ju- attention to himself so Go hair out now. There's no doubt about. And i just want to throw out. It was bernard king so also players bernard king was unbelievable ryan before he got hurt and hurt his knee. Play for the knicks. Mostly and kareem abdul-jabbar shack. And now leonard. And i'm telling you people keep living on the the hapless clippers and they're no good. They were the number one three point shooting team. They have guys who can defending the perimeter. Long guys. paul george kawhi. I liked your team a lot. I give them credit and sometimes ryan you notice. You played for ten years. You there's comes a point in the season you have to get over. Do you know what i mean. Like like you push through. And they were pushed to the brink. Nothing they face from here on out can be as daunting as what they phased will rock think. Oh no rob in. I'm glad you gave me credit. And i want everybody to know so i'm rubbing your face a bit. I was talking with you. Rodney pete and. I told you that the clippers had them right where they wanted them. And you guys. You got a late me now. But i picked the clippers from junk pickup truck. But you guys do to hear that they were down three two. And i said they found a defense for luka doncic. They found a better yet. You found a lineup. That's what's impressive about luca it's not one. Man is not a certain defense. They found a lineup that had size with terrence mann plan point guard who was absolutely excellent and game seven. A young pup is coming on and shutout to title for bench and patrick. Beverley plantations man. A lot of a lot of coaches wouldn't have the gumption. Do you know right on the money. And a lot of a lot of coaches. And i've seen it in baseball managers. You know. they always say i got. I got a Dance with with the with the woman brought to you. Know what. I mean What brought to the party. Or whatever know if she's got two left feet and you read and you get it right you got to move on and a lot of are afraid because if it doesn't work out you know they'll be criticized but tai lou is different from a year ago and it doesn't mean that doc is a great coach you a championship but it was time to move on and i think i'm just curious people still don't want you. I hear i see on social media ryan and all the other stuff. Oh give them credit to win the championship. I wanna hear no. You can't be like that if you just watch what you saw a team that overcame a guy put on some showing luca a team that shot fifty one percent from three in the first three games. You overcome that storm back you. You win three road games in the playoffs and you send luca home for this. He larry bird going home for the second time at the hands of the clipper in. Let me throw this out to you too. So may say you know. Why would you have tyler. Stay in doc rivers. Go what you just brought. Up is the difference. And i played for both coaches under both coaches tie. Lou in that game seven played. Luke canard heavy minutes and there was some. Dmp's they're terrorists. A man was a fourth quarter guy that had been doc rivers documents in a game. Seven goes goes seven possibly eight deep. He ain't laying luke kennard. Lenore was excellent. I was questioning lucas on. It was absolutely excellent. But that's the difference with thai lue because he ran our defense in defensively. He kept trying different things on luca and if he finally cry he trapped They hard showed on him You know the they tried to play ice. Oh ball one on one and see if they feel you know you could tire him out. The ultimately tired him out but he found a lineup. That work rob so you do have to quit it. Tie lue and it's sad to me. This is a talk for another day when you win a championship will the bron james i frank vogel life. Don't get zero. Nothing absolutely i. We want to hear from you. "Show was on AM 15 30 WC kg asshole Steve Arman and Cuttino Mobley. So what we get here on Saturdays? There are a lot of stories that happen. Maybe during the week that you did not hear about. Here's one of the stories you may not have heard about, and that was a division One council voted on Wednesday that the man's and women's college basketball season's could start November 20. With all right, which means and of course, when we think back of the shutdown that we had in this country in the sports world. One of the biggest things right off the bat was the basketball tournament. March Madness was canceled. Obviously, they can't have that again. I mean, billions of dollars generated, obviously about the CIA, a tournament so with everything that's going on right now, we got college football. We're looking here on a college football Saturday. Ah, variety games. By the way, Liberty fans. You're happy they're up 30 17. Over Western Kentucky. Reason. I'm not talking more about some of these college games is well, there just aren't many compelling games going on right now. Oakland State has taken a 10 7 lead over Tulsa 10 minutes to go in the game there. But what about college basketball? And if we get to March Would you play in a bubble? What? What would you do Because obviously we're getting a bubble situation for the Major League Baseball playoffs. They're going to figure out what's going to happen with the NFL on everything else. But Would you go that far? If you get to March Madness? Would you have the same 68 team field? Would you reduce the field? If we create a bubble? How exact is you've got to get in. You can't have another year without a champion. I will do the bubble. How many schools are we talking about? You going to do it in 64? 64 schools in a bubble. Listen, but you're talking about the bump Confessor there in school, you know, Listen, even if we're going online, and if you're gonna play on a Monday, Yeah, right. So it's only a certain amount of teams per city. Yeah. So after you leave that city, so if you lose, you're done If you win, you advance, by the way, Wait playing the same. Your ears senior at Rhode Island. You guys got to the elite eight. Were you in classes at that time? Yeah. How'd you deal with? That was great. What? What do you people might be curious because I know what I want. I want I want Teo. You have the quarter system there. Or semester system from the quarter system Instruction C quarter system that you had finals going on. Basically, at the time of the year. I remember this from college days. Yes, I know where we were We There was in my senior year. My freshman sophomore and junior. I want to go to summer school right every single time, So I kind of sped up my education. All right, So you got ahead of you so but then in my senior year Still like that's how I did. My classes will have only a certain amount of classes per week. All right, so you get to the sweet 16. And you're all excited. Obviously, we're going to go the sweet 16. But you got school to worry about. How did you deal with that? Because everyone's you did the whole team. Sit aside. You guys have similar classes or how or where you're a college only have, like 56 classes, right? I know that you have, like, two a day. Yeah, You're fine. You're fine. What is it? You study while you on the road? You study while you don't You worry. You're a little distracted by in the sweet 16 don't have two things to do. What are you talking about? How much studying? I forgot. You're of a different mentality. Your You were not a normal college. I don't your focus. You are Focus. I got to get through school. I got to get my education and I got to upgrade my basketball and I was not crazy stuff. That is just crazy about what's wrong with you. Where'd you get that? Unbelievable. 20 Everything. Yeah, I know that. Well, that's that's the normal. Actually, My guys are pretty pretty mellow for college guys out. There s o. We've got the MBA. Now heading into well, we're into the Western Conference finals Right now. Major League baseball. We're going to get a little baseball talk coming up in the next hour. John Paul morose He's going to join us. Believe it or not. The 60 game season will conclude a week from tomorrow and we take away a lot from this Major league baseball season, the outbreak for the Marlins and the Cardinals and how they survived that and how that's good news for football.
