"Makes Sense. Okay excellent but I know you guys have gotten Ion Hamilton nation on the whole Iot seen. What's integration looking? Like in the Manga Between Bixby. The smart home devices. Yes a Samson bought a company called smart things. Okay in smart things was originally a hub. There was a home up hub for home automation. A now's increasingly more of a cloud product and really smart things is this hob allows you to control all your devices and home build up these routines if this happens the NAT and actually has a full idea and development environment than people. There's definitely ecosystem. Smart things developers so really big speed is a front end for smart things and it kind of voice enables us things that you've enabled with. Smart. Things will clearly be products. That are just bixby out of the box but a lot of that will be powered by smart things. I know there was this news earlier about in the Air Apple Google Amazon joining Ziggy Alliance. Which I think is amazing but Samsung has been a member of Zig Beeline since twenty fifteen. So we were really early in some of these home automation protocols and involved in that. And that's the do our smart thing subsidiary so. I think this is a nice area where there's kind of a marriage of two divisions a. Samsung one smart things providing all the kind of machinery behind the scenes to make home automation work and then bixby being that frenette voice enables at which I think is really kind of the killer APP for home automation. You WanNa walk in your home. Say TURN ON THE LIGHTS. Turn on our absolutely and without having to integrate them via this third party APP. You know I've got the thing is the smart home app wasn't thing on my android phone. I have to plug in my google devices. And my you know not Cosima hardware into that and it's fine. It works but It feels a little disjointed. You know having to move between Google home and then this other run them light smile mom which has got like six thousand devices listed in that region of us. Yes a bit awkward. At the moment so yeah. That'd be fantastic to see that that's really tightly. Integrated in the sensing Fair what about speech attacks is. Obviously something is a Korean company. Didn't correct me if I'm wrong. This text come from. Does it do Korean better than the battling Google or better than anyone else? Yeah so Korea's actually an interesting marketplace not not a deep expert in it but Alexa has on. It does not support Korean. Google does support Korean but doesn't have a huge market me. Mindshare I'll say in Korea. Korea expe- is really competing with some of the Korean companies S. K. Telecom is another chemical S. T. which is a conglomerate and they've released their own proprietary smart speakers so the Korean market is quite different. My understanding is the Korean is quite challenging from both a Asr IN T T S perspective once again. I'm not an expert in that but we support Korean and English with the full marketplace without the marketplace. But coming soon we sport. Uk English French German Spanish from Spain and Mandarin and we have a bunch more languages coming in the future or does that mean with and without the marketplace in terms of language. Yeah so just like the devices I mentioned. I said today with a smartphone you having marketplace which means end users can go and enable voice applications capsules that is enabled for us. English pre-and so for United States and Korea. You mean they can use those languages to enable. The capsules by voice is exactly in. The capsules are supported there. If you're in Europe and you have a Samsung phone say in French. You have bixby on it. But you don't have bixby with that full enabled marketplace. That really has the basic functionality. See this evening. The ability to activate the APPS in order to write APPs in those languages. Then you can't note a capsule in French. He had to be technically correct. You can build one but there's no place for end users to actually enable with the F. So we have kind of the head of the head of the game on the building and enabling C. You could build an APP and many different languages and some people have kind of jumped the gun and done that already. But an end user if I'm in France and I have a Samsung Phone and Vicki I can't enable those APPs so it's pretty limited experience but that's all going to change. Obviously we need to enable the marketplace enable third party capsules in time which is many many more so we. We have a ton of work to do that okay. Well that's great. It's all on that all on the road map. How customizable is that? I wanted to know whether you can customize the voice can I customize the wake what do I have to say every time maybe can I change that where the customization options and what's on the Roadmap Eliazar? Yes you can definitely customized the voice depending language. We either have right now on two to four different voices so Franson the US. There's two famous voices two male voices and you can definitely intersperse them. It's quite easy to say. Hey I want my capsule to use these two different voices which gets kind of fun and exciting and things like choose your own adventure games etc or there's other practical purposes from mixing voice there so that is enabled the SNL as its Amalia. Only we move on. That's interesting what you said about multiple voices because you can enable more than one so I can select two voices and then we will automatically use one or the other depending on the context and their situations where it would use both. Is that right? Yes so as an end user. You can go in the settings in bixby and you can say and let me. Just use the example. There's four different voices knows the default voice which is a female voices another female voice in. There's two male voices I can switch any of them and then my whole bixby experience would be in that voice whether something native built in or third party capsules in less those third party capsule developer. Said Hey I want to use this voice here. So for instance I think the best exempt like to see multiple voices in his arm kind of adventure games or stories. I think back to when my parents were reading books as a kid you know. They changed the voices to make it more fun Yeah you can do that. See Mark up the output. Sm L. and you say Voice one hair and then voice here too and that's under the control of the developer. In how end users here that experience using you choose the default voice as developer. You can override that and choose one of the other voices fantastic voice. Chops Tuesday is a weekly newsletter. Have you got any case studies or demos that you can describe to us at least yes far as apps? Yes so there is a bound. Seven hundred capsules right now enabled bixby but I wanted to highlight a couple that I thought were really useful. Examples of kind of the multi modal experience and how that can be really something that works super well bixby. So first one is one. It's pretty new. It's booking dot COM. Which allows you to book hotels and so the. Nice thing you can do is say something like find a four star hotel in Miami beach that is pet friendly all right and then we'll go enlist those now. Think about if you're going to do that in a web you've probably been there. Miami beat nightmare. You'd get the list you'd filter by four stars probably pretty darn easy. Then you'd probably have to somewhere nested.

"The switch finally being widely available in shops is going to switch everybody even more people saying her in public transport because it's just a beautiful little games console. And I think the apple watch is finally justified its existence with the new version came up this year. Let's say great about the new apple it is largest green on a smaller frame. It has. A longer battery. Life has a much prettiest green, and it has this EC monitor which is kind of a I in Cosima hardware as someone who has had a history of hall conditions. It's quite nice to potentially be able to more regular impassively, monitor the health, my heart in a way, I could get to my doctor. Plus if I trip and fall, it could call nine nine nine really for me. I think one of the greatest texture is come up to eighteen. I will remember is the MAs insight landing. So the land that we landed on Mars, and I got to go and watch it land with some of the scientists he'd worked on the tech. And just it's just incredible. What we can do. Now, we can land this incredibly sensitive instruments on a planet. Hundreds thousands, however, many miles away it is, you know, clown using advanced plus years in advance and what happened with an eight minute delay. It's just incredible don't even know whether it's London when you start watching it descend that still gives me chills. Anyway, that's it. That is final show you for twenty eighteen Alex.
