"Your last person on your down list, Greg. Yeah, I keep going back and forth on this Nick. I'll just tell you some of the people that are in the running Juan Bentley. He had a plenty of plus place. He also had a bunch of minus plays. I think that Dietrich wise didn't do much in this game again because guess why? Because he's being played out of position just like we've been talking about for three years now. I think Godzilla had a tough time. No one was really brutal in this game, Nick. So I think I'm going to go, I think I'm going to go with I'm going to go with Godzilla just because of the run defense. And that's what he was paid for and he's not holding up well enough. So he's my number one guy that has to be better next week. And Bentley is going to be somewhat of a polarizing guy because I saw a lot of reaction on Twitter saying he was playing really well and he made plays. And your eyes watching the film, he also had some mistakes that could catch up. So interesting. It's like 50 50 for him. It was 50, you know, 50% good place, 50% bad place. You know, obviously you'd like to be a little bit more consistent. Are you buying or selling the Patriots pressure we saw on Sunday in that second half? I'm not ready to buy yet. I'm not saying I'm selling, but I'm not buying because you should do that. When the score gets out of whack, you should be against a crappy line and a rookie quarterback. And by the way, one thing before we get going, one thing I wanted to say, the first two interceptions I did not put on Zach Wilson. I thought that Corey Davis who was a guy that a lot of patriots fans wanted the Patriots to go after and free agency. I thought that he stopped running on the first route where if he kept going across, which I think what Zach Wilson wanted, but all of a sudden he realized that that Cory Davis was stopping and there was pressure coming in Zach Wilson there wasn't really anything else he could do. So we tried to give him a chance and it just didn't work out. I thought that was a poor route. I thought the second one, Zach Wilson thought that Corey Davis was going to flatten out and go to the sideline instead he came back towards Zach Wilson and that's why the throw was a touch high and went off Davis's hands. So I just wanted to point that out. But as far as the pressure, I want to see them put pressure on when the game's in doubt. Or when the game we're not sure who's going to win. When the game's over and the second half, fourth quarter, anybody can pressure on then. "Back there and Jameis Winston wasn't great today, but and if you look ahead, Greg, they have to travel this week. They're staying at TCU for the whole week. They were without it. I would like to see the Patriots start to figure out what the hell they're going to do it linebacker because it seems like they don't really know. Juwan Bentley played a lot in the middle, Dante Hightower was a lot on the line with Kyle van noy out to Sean Bauer gets promoted from the practice squad and he plays way more than Josh uche two facts later or winovich, like, you know, what's going on there? How are they going to deal with Kamara and some of the saint speed? I think the Patriots have a lot to figure out in the front 7 or else they could get exploited by a good team that really runs their offense through the backfield. Hey, guys. I think that Josh may be the reason that we're not seeing Mac progress quickly. I mean, I already like what I see from the candy mix. Good decisions. Need to speed up getting the ball out sometimes. But you also don't see a lot of space created for the running backs, right? So if we don't have speed to receiver, get somebody with speed and shift the ball in the open field like the flats. And I'm seeing I'm seeing that, take a lot of shots to receivers in the flat, but not really the backs and then late in the fourth I saw a couple of misdirection runs as we're getting in the jets red and zone. And those didn't really turn out to anything. So just your thoughts on that off here. Thanks. Greg? Yeah, I mean, you know, look, the way that they've played in the red zone, the first two weeks, it invites the criticism. I understand it. And I think a lot of it is fair. I just think that, you know, with the getting the ball running backs, like, say outside of screen passes and things like that. I think it's probably a situation where there were a little bit worried about going too much to the backs and getting it being too predictable and where they'd rather sneak in like a screen pass by surprise, which I think worked well today. I thought they had some really nice screens today. That were well timed and cut sort of caught the jets by surprise. A lot of times you're setting those up with multiple plays leading up to that in the drive. But yeah, I mean, look, they haven't thrown in the end zone in two games. I don't care who's playing quarterback and how long they've been here. That's an issue. And, you know, I know some of it is Mac not taking the shots and taking the easy money which they do preach in this offense, which is if they have easy 5 or 6 yards, take the 5 or 6 yards. "And I tried to capitalize and he realized that he slipped. So he went on he had great things to say about Cory Davis, who was a free agent from the Titans in the off season. The Patriots never sniffed Corey Davis. I think he was out there for a while and the Patriots just never signed them. Like they could have done. They could have signed like a galore Davis and born and only signed one tight end. They decided to go to Titans. So he said he was asked about the receivers, their secondary receivers, and he talked about how they did a lot of homework on keeling coal and free agency and that kind of perked up my ears. And I was like, oh, that's let me see if I can get them back. I wanted to see if I could get a reaction on Corey Davis, 'cause I know for my reporting, the Patriots had no interest in Corey Davis. They have none. They didn't think it was. So I said, I said, Bill, did you guys do a lot of work on Corey Davis? Also, or did you think, or did you know right away he wasn't your style of receiver? And he's like, we do a lot of work on all the free agents. That was his answer. But I was just trying to get he knew that I caught like he slipped up a little bit, saying he did a lot of work on keelan Cole and I bet you he was like a backup option to a galore and born. He's in that sort of same style. And he knew I caught him and of course he shut it down because he's Bill Belichick. He's the best at that stuff. Yeah, nice. I love all those guys. Davis, I like keelan Cole. I like jamison Crowder, I like, you know, who are the other guys that they have? Yeah, Elijah Moore. Yeah, Elijah more Elijah Mitchell is running back. Why is there more? I hope he didn't do anything week one. I don't know how much he played, but that was a kid who I loved in the pre draft where I was like, if he could play a slot for the Patriots, he'd be a star. So keep an eye out. They're gonna be tested. The whole thing is gonna be, can the Patriots get pressure and wreck the jets defense offensive line? Because that's where the game's gonna be decided. All right, so let's look at the jets defense for a couple of minutes, haven't talked about those guys just yet, of course, Robert sala is the new head coach for the jets. So my had a draft at six PM on Fridays, and I had no choice but to walk myself over to the nearest Panera bread. And I got an apple and a coffee and I did my draft on my phone. I had no choice and that was to remove. That was fun. Um, the thing that happened that Uh, this happens to me every single year. If I do this on my phone is I fat fingered like B, Uh, one of the options. I had a choice between Aaron Rodgers and Corey Davis. And I wanted to get Aaron Rodgers. But then I fat, fingered it and picked Cory Davis by accident. Oh, no. Yeah, So I had an opportunity to get an all pro M v p Defending M v P in error. Rogers, who was being drafted at around excellent value. But it said, I got Corey Davis, who is one of the more frustrating wide receivers in football. Yeah, well, um, things will happen. I like.

"The steelers or mack jones with the patriots. It's a really interesting question. I think zack has by far the most value. I just 'cause quarterback harris could have a remarkable rookie year. And it's hard for me to believe he's gonna be more valuable than a than zach. I mean i think. I think some kind of being a little forgotten about. There's been a lot of a lot of attentional. Trevor while hullabaloo about some fields obviously jones. Getting all the attention. And just as you know just kind of played really well in a preseason especially you go back and at that packers game he. He looked like he belonged. I mean he looked like wow. This kid could be an instant star in this league. But yet he's i think he's fourth rookie of the year Which i don't get at all you give me one reason why. Zach wilson is not ahead of mac jones in that race like wh. Why would we be picking back to win. Rookie year over. Zach will be win. Wilson's better player. You look better. He's more he's more physical tools. I'm not sure the offense around him as much worse if it is at all the patriots fans wasn't exactly juggernaut last year. It's not like he's being thrown into the two thousand seven patriots or anything. So i just think that i mean i think wilson right now we look. I think is going to win that award. Just 'cause he's gonna play all seventeen and he's gonna be really good as you get a lot of attention. But i think about value on the board as if we're offense. Rookie of the year wilson. So i go get a piece of him to stop you frank. Are you telling me you would take the pieces or on the jets offense and the patriots offense wanna patriots. Do like that much. Not the offensive line is way better. They have four but you know what the jets offensive line is not that bad. They've added in the draft back then the kid. They drafted out You know albert tucker this year. The jets in the wine is not as bad as you think the patriots off the line is better but which which running backs on the patriots. When it's gary david harris was that could he doesn't think oh. Yeah like a huge year. Huge year site but i mean receiver. Wise cory cory davis would be the patriots number one receiver right now and i think it might be. They're number two right now. Dr. good a lot better there. I'll get. I'll be tyler. The kids taken zero snaps in the nfl right now officially and talking about tom brady comparisons but just given the talent. The aren't talent. That's why people like knock jones. More than zach wilson because of the coaching. That he's got i mean. Let's be frank. We don't know what robert sally is going to be this year. Right right i. I get that i get every reason. I just think he's actually much better player. I mean that's what to win. Number two draft people would've lost their freaking minds. I mean people are losing their minds over. You know the reports. That might go number three over trae lance lynn sudden. How some superstar. I don't get it. i looked. He played very well in the preseason. And i think he will be good. He's going to get great. Coaching josh mcdaniels for all his faults. The great offense coordinator he really is belgium's. Obviously the grace Grace head coach of all time. But i don't know. I i still. I'll still shelby. Who finishes higher and rookie of the year. I'll go back. I think i've been really impressed with him. I have just said wow this. This kid looks like he belongs. Garoppolo and jimmy's is not good like he's he's your perfect like the kind of middling he can do any kind of run your offense well enough if everything is perfect around him type of guy or trey lance i think as a totally different mentioned that offense when we've seen good trae lamps and a preseason and i'm not saying he hasn't made mistakes when we think good trae lansner. Preseason you look and you say whoa this has got something. We haven't even seen him really run yet and we know that's a big strength game trail have to make every throw. He's canon of an arm. I think he has dimension they don't have. I think kyle's going to have so much fun designing plays for this kid. Who has the skill set the that jimmy just doesn't have looked at that roll out. They had the play action bootleg to the left in the first preseason game where he all the way across the field of sherefield long touchdown. Jimmy can't do that. he just can't. He's not the quarterback and great. And i'm sure we kyle looked at the film of that. He just starts thinking. If i can put this on my playbook what else can i put my playbook so i think i think trays gonna be just fine by the end of the year. I think it's gonna have a huge year there. Yeah seven games last year with four or fewer receptions and two. This is unfair because it can happen to basically any player but he spent the entire year last year. Managing a knee injury right now. Thanks have done a great job of managing him. it hasn't really slowed him down when he's actually gotten on the field but yeah. Those are the things that. I'm keeping an eye on. Otherwise i just love him talking about explosive players. Put the ball in. Aj brown's hands and he might be as explosive is almost any other wide receiver in the nfl. Like he's the player that takes the routine. Slant route seventy five yards. He's the guy that catches the ball in the eight yard line with defender draped over him and bullies his way into the end zone. He's a bowling ball out there despite the fact that he's a wide receiver a love. Aj brown if you don't love aj brown find different. You're doing it wrong different podcast. Yeah i love them. I moved him down like you said the wide receiver seven. I don't see any way that the titans can see what they have in. Aj brown and not find a way to put the ball in his hands. I think julio jones coming over is going to be the complementary piece to aj brown. that's not an a crazy thing we all that. And so if i'm looking at which which wide receiver am. I'm going to make sure. I get the ball to for me. It's aj brown. And julio is the complementary piece to that i agree and this for the first time and julio's career that it's like you go into the season as the nominal number two. Yeah right. Calvin calvin really ended up being there wide receiver one last year for fantasy purposes but julio's atlanta royalty like i don't think he was ever viewed around. That team is anything other than the guy in the passing game. But just to round out thought on increased volume as i mentioned seven games with four or fewer receptions. Kyle also notes that last year on a per game basis. He was twenty first in terms of targets per game. Seven point six and this is interesting to me. Twenty seven point nine routes per game which is fifty first amongst wide receivers. So again when you're at the very top of these wide receiver draft listen. You're trying to decide between wide receiver five and wide receiver seven. Then you might lean towards a guy who's on the field more frequently whether estefan who's running around or whoever it is wide receiver five for your calvin ridley who you expect to be on the field for every single play not a simpler towards jay brown. Just more looking for many tiebreakers. We've used that phrase a lot. Jeff process throughout the preseason. We'll continue to use a lot as we go through some of the best game off. He needs to average double digitize though he does yes he story that's like. Aj brown just needs the titans. Eat them to push one seventy five. This year that would be great for everybody involved. A julio jones as we know is wearing number eight now in tennessee. That's very exciting. Fun to see. Julio jones who last year on a points per game basis was wide receiver fourteen wide receiver. Fifty two in terms of total points because he played just nine games. Fifty one catches seven hundred. Seventy one yards and three touchdowns daniel. You've him wide receiver seventeen. I've got him at wide receiver fifteen. How nervous are you about julio jones. Or how excited are you about. Julio jones this year. I'm so excited. That i get to be on the couch for the julio jones podcast guys as part of the focusing listen who was a beast. He's been a superstars entire career. That's never been the never been in question. It's him being able to stay on the field and its health the way that they manage him and i think coming to tennessee like we talked about how they managed. Aj brown last year. I think he's coming to a team. That's going to be able to help manage him when he has some of those soft tissue injuries that he's that he often works with but he's a guy that it doesn't make a difference if he's on the field he's a playmaker and as long as he is there and he is playing. I do expect he. I don't know if you can expect someone to get banged up in the middle of the season but like i expect him to miss a couple of games. 'cause always feels like there's a couple of games that he always just especially with getting older so i still have him as a top twenty guy but he's not somebody that we talked about with brown. That is in that top tier top fifteen ten so julio jones got traded this off season in part because it sounded like you wanted to be somewhere where he could win big right. Julio jones as we talked about missed seven games last year in total. I think julio jones are going to be motivated this this season to prove to people. There's a lot of gas left in the tank because it did not take long. After julio jones trade rumblings began which they weren't even rebelling the gm acknowledged it. The gm. New gm terry on now acknowledged at the draft like. Yeah we've taken calls on. Julio jones because our cat situation is very bleak right now it did not take long for the naysayers to come out. But julio jones had very very tepid market right if people are like dude. Why is no one trader for julio freakin jones yet. Three years thirty seven point five million dollars still owed this guy. That's pretty good. That's what cory davis got to sign with the jets. Wouldn't you prefer. Julio jones for the next three years there was not a huge market. And as we know that the falcons were chided for the return. Yeah just a second round. Pick for julio jones and pick swap like. There's no way. I think all that's going to register julio jones. I'm not saying that he wasn't playing with absolute ferocity with atlanta over the past couple of years. But it's just different than the stakes raised. Now you've been doubted now. You got a chance to win big. It wouldn't surprise me if we have a bounceback season for julio jones and that wide receiver fifteen which we know is easily within range just plays turns out to be like wide receiver. Eight or nine easy yeah he. He's he's super talented like if he just plays. Especially in pr like you know but in you always have to take camp records with a camp reports with a grain of salt. I'm telling you right now. But the allies you're more like high. Trade is out of control hype. Train is out of control. Train is moving fast right now. But you're right matthew and that. I'm not saying this is what i don't think that allies more guaranteed to fall into this bucket but every year i mean almost every team. There's like ten guys per roster they're like oh my god. This player looks amazing. Right i mean how. Many players are receiving positive buzz. Right now we're talking about it again. And i'm not trying to like earlier. We were talking like nikiel. Area has been legitimately one of the most housed about players at the patriots training camp. Who knows if that will amount to anything. So i think lies more a player. I i think we all kind of agree is really potentially useful in dynasty. Don't know that he's the kind of guy that a touchdown upside you just don't see. i mean. we talked about this. Mike clay for years on the podcast nonetheless. Lot receivers with a bunch of tied inequity. Right russia and equity. Excuse you just don't see a bunch of guys that are five foot eight diminutive in size going up and winning with fades in the red zone or something like that. So i actually think. Cory davis okay. How about you. I was gonna say i think allies more like i think it depends what you need at the end of your draft. I said allies more. Just because i think the upside is there but there's also a wide range of outcomes. If you're telling me like i need to. I need sixteen team league in our war room league. It's probably davis because who's more likely to be usable on a week to week basis. It's definitely corey davis. He's got a higher floor than i think. Allies you're more. I just think. And maybe it's a ten percent chance or fifteen percent chance. But i think it's within the range of outcomes that allies you're more has just monster year this year. I think but like. I think there's a there's a chance i just think that if you're elijah more i don't know he's a deep threat player right. I don't know that he's like ten. Or twelve touchdown guy. And i'll be talking about the fantasy implications with that. And then i'll be going into a new segment where i'll be going through every teams individual schedule and i will talk about each individual matchup within their schedules and talk about the fantasy implications with that water favorable match unfavorable matchups. I did that. I went through a couple of games. You know a few shows ago. I kinda just went through the whole schedule and talked about you. Know some games where. There's some favorable and unfavorable matchups. But now i'm going to be taking a deeper dive into every teams schedule. I'm going to be starting with the eagles on this show. And i'm gonna talk about their schedule. I'm going to do the whole. Nfc east and then we'll go from there so i'll be doing that for the next. You know thirty some shows. I'll have that segment segment number two dedicated to doing a deeper dive on teams as individual schedules. So that'll be segment number two and then segment number three. I'll be doing a segment for the next couple of shows where i'll be going through every division again you know. Instead of doing a draft analysis finished doing i'm going to do a rankings of players on every team you know within a certain division and talk about what. I think you know what players will be taken. I players will be taken last. You know within the group of players from a certain team and you know it'll make more sense. Once i get up to that at that point in the show and then finally i will conclude with doing the top. Ten tight ends that i think will be the top ten tight ends in twenty twenty one. Nfl season so with that. Let's get right into the first segment. Which is the rankings of the wide receiver groups in the afc. And i'll be doing that division by division. So let's get right into so starting off with the afc east. I got the jets in last place. Now the jets wide receiver group was really bad last year. They really didn't have a clear number one wide receiver last year. You know jamison crowder was probably their best receiver you know. They lost robbie anderson and free agency. He went to carolina. You know they really didn't have any wide receivers that scared you you know bouchard paramount. He added a break out. Game against new england when they played on monday night. Joe flacco was the quarterback. You know denzo mems is a guy that they drafted in the twenty twenty. Nfl draft and he's going to be looking to make a big step in year. Two you know they brought in cory davis. They drafted allies. You're more so the receiving core is going to be a little bit better but when it comes to fantasy you know. I don't really see you know a lot of Starpower when it comes to fantasy i think allies more could be a guy who can dynasty leagues. I think corey is a guy that can maybe ride your bench and maybe jameson crowded the same thing but other than that. I don't really see any fantasy value as compared to the other wide receiver groups in this division. I think the jets are you know their team. That's rebuilding. They got a rookie quarterback coming in. You know there's going to be some growing growing pains with zach wilson. I think the jets are going to be competitive. And i think you know at some point. Maybe you know a jets player that plays receiver makes an impact. You know. we'll have to wait. And see i think as of right now i don't. I'm not very high on any receivers on the jets in terms of regular. I think you're more has more value in dynasty leagues. And you know what jamison crowder he's shown flashes for the jets But i think outside of you know jamison crowder and i guess corey davis who had a breakout season in two thousand twenty when it comes to standard lease i. I really don't see a lot of value with any of these players on the jets now echo. I could be completely wrong. But i think the jets are going to be better. "They have a great offensive line they draft. Well, I think it will be kind of the next evolution. Of some smart front office ng. You know what? We're not going to pay our quarterback or offer him 45 million, or 50 million, or 55 million per year, say in four or five seasons. We're going to allocate is much of our money to either just continuing to draft Ah young quarterback and putting him in an amazing environment or offering this quarterback 25 or 30 year, which might be a bargain. At that point, I do think we will get to a point where because the league is becoming more wide receiver, dominant. I certainly think that quarterback is the most valuable position on the field, but with teams really loading up a tight end and receiver and past catching back heading to the efficiency Of that position and the offense in general, I think some team it will be interesting to see if it would be a fun case study. Well, if they ultimately said Hey, you know what? We're in an amazing environment roster wise. We could plug in any type of quarterback and we're going to get good. Play from him because of our receivers and our offensive line. So I do think at some point in the next few seasons will see somewhat of a cap on it in terms of how much per year Quarterback is averaging on that second contract. Crystal Paso on the Western Hotline one more before let you go, Chris. All right, So Julio Jones the You know, power rankings around the NFL. I think the general consensus Puts bills Top four, You know, you see Kansas City, Tampa Green Bay, Buffalo. There's anybody else that's crept into the top four. I'm not even sure who it might be The Rams maybe. Is there a team that with the acquisition of Julio would pass the bills in your eyes, And I guess the second areas if it's New England. How much does that closed The gap? If if you think it closes it enough. Two teams. I would say the Cleveland Browns or the Baltimore Ravens. I don't really think the Browns have been speculated to be in the Julio running, but they signed you leaving Clowney when no one was really expecting it. Because I think the Browns have a great offensive line. It's one of the best in the league. Baker major kind of settled in as this game manager and They have Odell Beckham Jr. They have Jarvis Landry, but they're a little bit older. This would be another example of, you know, teams loading up a receiver and that you don't just need to good receivers. Today. You need three or you need four. They've added so many pieces on the defensive side in the secondary, that Brown defense kind of held them back a little bit. So I think if they all of a sudden could line up Julio Jones and Odell Beckham, that would be one of the most complete teams in the NFL and then the Ravens. Just because we know the defense is good. They like to blitz. They have a very complex team defensively. They lost in pieces, certainly in free agency, But I think the ad Julio to that offense that you know is going to be an elite running attack because of Lamar Jackson because of the offensive line that running backs If you could also add Julio Jones to really diversify what they do offensively. I think that would be All of a sudden the Ravens would be right there again with the bills, A Z in the league team in the NFC and in terms of the Patriots. I think he would certainly move the needle for any team. I don't see it as much with the Patriots. I think you know on the defensive side because of No Bella checks presence still being there and they're getting back from opt out players. They will be improved. And I'm kind of with you, Jeremy. I think Cam Newton will have a better 2021. But the only concern that I have with him is that if there is a two game, Stratos, where he doesn't really play very well or you looks like 2020 Cam Newton that there will be a lot of push. C. Max Jones on the football field, and I just still think that that team offensively even with Julio Jones is still ah, clear two or three steps behind what the bills can do in terms of scoring points. Um What they would bring in the past game, which we know that's you know where you live and die in today's NFL. I'll ask you a question that I was asked by the afternoon guys yesterday. What team in the A F. C. If they were to get Julio would really bridge the gap, the most to the bills. You know, if you if you were assuming, and you know you could tell me if you don't think this Kansas City one bills, too, and then Everybody else behind them. What team Getting Julio would bring that team closer to the top two. Probably the Tennessee Titans. Uh, to lose Cory Davis to lose Johnny Smith. I think they're looking like a team that's a playoff contender they lost at home to the Ravens in the playoffs last season. And they first good as they were utilizing play action because that's very efficient. They do want to run the football with their Kendari a ton, and I think if you had three superstars on offense, if you had Derrick Henry a J. Brown and Julio Jones, you would make life even easier for Ryan Tannehill. They Spent most of their picks in the draft on the defensive side. That was kind of an issue, but I think it could be a team that could really score a lot of points and a lot of different ways. When right now they're looking at. Hey, we really have a J. Brown. Derrick. Henry. We need that third member of our triplets if they ultimately got that s O. I think Italians right now are a good team. I think they're clearly a tear. Below the bills, or probably to below the bills in the A F. C and they're probably still behind the Browns and the Ravens. But if they signed Julio Jones, I think that would make them Team that maybe wouldn't stop anyone but would be able to score 28 30 points a game and we know in today's NFL, That's what you ultimately need to strive for. "It seems in it, like every year since the Falcons have been in the Super Bowl. There are rumors about Julio Jones getting traded. And every year he has stayed in Atlanta. The Falcon squash those rumors, saying, No, of course we're not trading Julio Jones. What do we nuts? We love Julio here, but now they might actually be entertaining offers for Julio Jones whispers of the Patriots potentially being interested. In one of the best receivers still in the NFL despite being in his thirties. Do you think that this is serious? Do you think that Julio Jones is going to end up someplace other than Atlanta in 2021? I think it's a strong possibility at some point in Atlanta is not in blow it up mode, but at some point that with an older quarterback against not his oldest time, Brady, but Matt Ryan's been around for a little bit. You're gonna start to need that. Get that draft capital to look for your future, Um, quarterback and try to start things over in the year two and you need to start to get that ammunition. And I think Julio Jones could get you the ammunition. You need to make that rebuild. Not very long at all. So I could see. I think it's a strong possibility that the Falcons ultimately move him now me personally. Just don't trade him to the A F. C north. That's all. I'm asking them. They could train them wherever they want. It. Just don't trade him to the F C north. My browns are finally looking good, and we don't need any extra weapons for the Steelers are the Ravens because I actually I really believe like the Ravens will really go after Julio if he's available. Make a lot of sense, and I think you would fit in. You know they need that offensive weapon. They have some speedster Cem Cem Gadget type players on the outside, but giving him a legitimate number one threat on the outside for their M v. P quarterback and Lamar Jackson, I think could really take that offense to another level. Well, Mike Tanen Bomb knows a thing or two about running an NFL front office. Yes, ESPN NFL front office expert in this week. Case, Keyshawn J. Will Anjuman. He shared his thoughts on trading Julio Jones. Think traders likely. I think the Rams Baltimore in Tennessee, but boy Tennessee makes lot of sense for a number of reasons. There are no window mode their quarterbacks over 30. They lost a really good receiver in Cory Davis. Julio Jones would come there with a J. Brown and make them immeasurably better. Arthur Smith that Current head coach of the Falcons was the offensive coordinator of Tennessee. He knows that roster. Well, maybe it's a player like a rush on Evans, a good young linebacker and a second round pick. Maybe that's a win win. So I think at this point, the fact that this story is still out there telling me that there's probably something to it. Julio Jones. He's obviously much closer to the end than the beginning. Teri fought No, the new GM of the Saints from the Saints. Who's the GM of the Falcons? Arthur Smith, new head coach. If you're gonna do something like this, you do it in your one. So to me that this really makes sense that after June 1st he could get moved. His prime time on ESPN radio on Game night. So with Emma Golden, and you start to see this, and this is this happens in every sport, right? I mean, Julio has made his money. But at at 32, he's still an incredibly productive receiver. He's still to me one of the best he still has that speed still has the strength. The unbelievable hands the ability to make those ridiculous catches that we see on Sunday. But at 32 for receiver. He knows that you know, the end is going is closer than you would probably like it to be. So Atlanta's probably not his best chance to win a title. You know, he would love just like any other player to get back to another Super Bowl. And there are some intriguing teams that you see on this list on it as the 2021 team odds for Julio Jones Falcons, still the heavy favorite at minus 1 50. But the Chargers pairing him with Justin Herbert. That would make for a lot of fun. 3 25 305 that window in the late afternoon games on Sundays, watching a young quarterback continue to blossom. With one of the best receivers in the NFL. That definitely is an intriguing situation I like with Mike Tanen bomb had to say, though about the Titans, because I think right now on the A F. C. You obviously have the favorites in the chief's. Then I think you have the Ravens, browns and bills. Who are that second tier team trying to kind of overthrow the Chiefs. I feel like the Titans are right below that group. And if you put Julio Jones on that squad Now, all the sudden, I think they're right there with the other contenders in the A F. C. I don't think it would make make the charge is fun to watch. I'm not sure that it would make them a true contender to come out of the A F C and make it to the Super Bowl. Now another team their eyes. That plus 700, along with the Ravens, is the Patriots. Patriots spent a lot of money in the off season, something that we're not used to. And if your bill Bella Jack and you want to get back in the playoff, maybe making a move and given Cam, you know. Ah, big time receiver that might help them get back in the conversation in the A F. C. E s Yeah, they would have got the top two tight ends in the market this year and then adding a receiver to that. You know whether it ends up being Cam Newton. Whether ends up being Mack Jones having those types of weapons on the outside of big receiver that you can trust and just throw the ball to, you know, in any situation, just okay. I mean, where's Julio? All right. Go make a play for me and throw it up and you'll come down with it nine times out of 10. Whether that's whether that's Cam you know, trying to rip you have a late career resurgence or Mack Jones. That's That's never a bad thing to have if you're the Patriots, but that would seem so unlike New England when it now I mean, they went out and got Randy Moss over a decade ago with this point. In. You know the middle years of Tom Brady being in New England, but to spend the money that they have then on top of that spend draft capital. I mean, it just seems like do you think the Patriots if they go out and make a move for Julio? Are they overreacting to what happened last year? Their quarterback, those wins the championship. They missed the playoffs without that quarterback. Are they overreacting them if they go spend all this money and make a big splash trade on top of it. Yeah, I will say. Anyhoo, though, taking the 40 Niners out of it because the 40 Niners have so much pressure. Because of what they gave up two ones. They swapped another first round pick. Obviously, the initial part of this move with Miami and the Miami traded back up, and they also gave away a third round pick. We've been talking about this at nauseam who the 40 Niners are going to pick at three. I'll give you a little more information on that and something, Adam Schefter said earlier today, which taps into the 40 Niners thinking A little bit more coming up in about 10 to 15 minutes from now, so isolate the 40 Niners because they have an enormous amount of pressure on them. Who are some other teams that have pressure on them in this draft? I think the Packers have a lot of pressure. They sit there with the 29th pick. Because last year they basically just did a terrible job in this draft. Yeah. AJ Dillon find in the second round. It seemed unnecessary. All right. They ended up losing Jamal Williams. They brought back Karen Jones find that's not the killer. But they did something That was just so stupid last year, and that was traded up and draft in Jordan love and creating this controversy and it blew up right in their face because then and Roger said, Okay, I'm gonna put four fingers and a Scotch glass. Fill it up. And then, boom. I'm going to be motivated. I'm gonna BP owed and I'm gonna go win a league M v p. Sure. You know that's awesome that Rogers for the Packers won the league M v P, but it didn't seem As if they needed to take a quarterback in that spot that they shouldn't have taken a quarterback in that spot if maybe it fell to them fine, But to trade up it seems so unnecessary and when for me at least And you don't want to compare him to the Texans. But at first when the Texans traded DeAndre Hopkins and a lot happened after that, I remember getting into it with my friends and sports radio 6 10 with the Clinton and the show I go. You guys were just in the division around. Like you were up. 24 points up against the Kansas City Chiefs and you get rid of your second best offense of play. You get rid of the best wide receiver at the time and football and DeAndre Hopkins when you get so close Sometimes you have to make drastic decisions, but you got to make decisions that make sense. And you gotta go for it. And the Texans. When you go back to that have constrained clearly weren't going for it. And then it. It's no surprise to me and all that happened after that, you know since, but it blew up in their faces for the Packers. They were up one. You know they were they were 13 and three They got destroyed in that NFC championship game, or Raheem Mostert is still rushing for a touchdown. It seems like and the next year in the draft, you go draft a quarterback. Why don't you go draft a really good defensive player with that pick last year? Why don't you go draft the wide receiver? You could have got a good defensive player in that first round and then a good wide receiver in the second round. A lot of what it was a deep, wide receiving draft class last year, So I think there's an enormous amount of pressure and Brian Gouda kun's because they got back to the NFC title game last year they lost to the Buccaneers. You got to go get Roger's a playmaker. My opinion, or you got to go get him an offensive lineman to that's what I think the Packers should do. So there's pressure on the backers. I think there's pressure on the Ravens. They've been close the last few years. They have two first round picks out to the Orlando Brown Jr trade. They could be in play for an offensive lineman. I would also like to see them go get a wide receiver and through the entire off season, I've been imploring the Baltimore Ravens to go get a wide receiver number one wide receiver that Sammy Watkins Number one wide receiver for the Mark Jackson, one of those first round picks that you have should be on a wide receiver. You know, I know Julio Jones could be available. That probably won't happen until after the draft day. Not to June one. As they go get Julio Jones. They should I really thought that the Ravens should've signed Kenny Golladay this offseason. But now is that the New York football giants The Jets have a lot of pressure on them, and it's not just because it to to the obvious question, and, you know, we know they're going to take it. Zach Wilson. We got to see if they have success, but the Jets have so many draft picks. You know, including that Wilson pick. They have 13 picks in the first three rounds in the next three years. They have five picks, including the Wilson pick. In the first round for the next three years. You got a hit on those picks. And this year, the first three picks to 23 34. I can't wait to see what they do at 23. I would not go running back at 23. You could go wide receiver you brought in Cory Davis. I don't think he's the number one wide receiver would be fine. You have Mukai Beckton. Maybe you go get another book end at the tackle spot or some offensive lineman the Jets of so many needs. That's why I don't go running back.

"A trade a mindless trade for somebody. That's going to be a rental. You know that you could wait for in the off season and sign. Give this a chance you know they. They've actually bought in. You wanted a new culture here. You wanted the coach to set a new standard. All he's done that and these players have listened to him and there's been some nice development obviously the ob top and thing is probably the most disappointing thing right now but again as you jewish rental talking to him last night. It's just about that young man's confidence it will come around. Julius randle wasn't the most confident guy when he came here and then all of a sudden look at the transformation so a little bit of maturity helps. There's no question about that. And i just think that. Ah there's no reason really to make a trade depending on who you're trading for. Who's it you know.
