"And this kind of dovetails into what we were talking about in the first segment, when we were kind of pooh-poohing some of the projections that Michael Michael Klay from ESPN was giving to two mile Sanders of seven hundred thirty three yards rushing through eleven yards. Receiving, obviously be LG. If, if Sanders is going to pile up those kinds of yards seven hundred thirty three yards rushing. He's going to have to get a significant amount of carries. But the big question is Corey Clement you know, none of us is really sure what happened last year. I feel somewhat good that if he at the very, very end of the year, Bill G it seem like Clement was picking it up. The old Corey Clement started to emerge a little bit at the very end of last year. But I worry that we are building. Mile Sanders up to be more than he is this year that being said, I think Corey Clement gets more rushing. Attempts than mile Sanders. This year, Noah John crazy. I'm surprised this was even a question to me. This is no way there's no part of the thing here with Cory. Is that he's hurt? Still he hasn't practiced like he's not merely. Am and I don't know when he's gonna be ready. I don't know if he's for sure ready for week one. I don't I don't know 'cause we don't really know exactly what the whole injury issue was him with with was with him. He kind of downplayed that like it was nice CO. There's some speculation that it was because he had knee surgery. I don't know. What's going on there? What I do know is that the Riveria high on Corey heading into last year. Like they liked him a lot that heard that from numerous places. I don't think you know they've soured on him dramatically in one season. I just I don't know about his health. And I think mile Sanders is going to get oppertunistic season units. Not quite what that protectionism ESPN. I don't have a role on the very least that this team. It's not gonna be a non factor. Corey Clement really kind of tops out in this offense as like a more limited role play. If he has role it might be more of a receiver than really a running back. Jerry here, I'm definitely gonna take Sanders. I just remember how many times Clemente got the ball down near the goal line in two thousand seventeen and even purports last year. And it seemed like they just wanted to give Clement the ball. And maybe they won't try to force extra. Right. I didn't I wasn't thinking about the injury issue with Clemente can kind of Suming that he's going to be ready to go by the start of the season. But you're right. He may not be. So let me circle back to that question Anthony because I think you're probably Jay probably is right about that one. I think about the injury issue there some that onto that, okay? We talked about I'm Schefter earlier in the show on ninety five the fanatic. He also mentioned Darren sproles Hannah what's going on with him. It sounds like close to wants to play which isn't surprising. That's kind of we've kinda Ernie known that it's this kinda matter of do eagles, or any other team went Darren sproles water gun to my head, as they would say birds with friends. I don't think they're gonna be on this team. I don't think it's likely but I've been thinking about it more, especially after hearing Schefter had to say and I don't think it's impossible, because what if what if Corey Clement isn't ready right away early in the season or you're kinda just kind of a little bit unsure about his health in you went Darren sproles around as another option of the backfield who can catch the ball because also like what mile Sanders as a rookie disproves to be a little bit unreliable more so than expected, also? Who's your punt returner right now? Like I was talking about that with kissed like, I don't know. Like the guys they have returning punts practice right now, the sides, Sean Jackson, who is not probably going gonna be your full time part returner like he'll do it sparingly. But I don't think you want aids. Thirty three Sean Jackson, being your fulltime..

"Make a completely free account and make sure when you sign up you let them know that you heard about them for the fantasy football podcast. I've a follow up real quick. Okay. Sean McDermott was asked about Roe prior playing quarterback. He did not dismiss it. He says the sign the signings, Terrell Pryor, and it's all about the bills current situation at the position trill prior. If you look priors. He's not going to be the fulltime QB. He will get a handful of snaps at the quarterback and throw some passes it, yes and some interceptions. Maybe he did this for a while. And you leave when he was making the transition in Cleveland took some wildcat snaps. He threw a few pass and he was valuable for fantasy there. And you look it's always nice when I mean, if you could ever play a quarterback in a wide receiver slot that then you would do that. So I mean, he's going to be wide receiver and your platform. Still. He's going to have to throw himself chasing after Terrell Pryor is hey, it's Halloween. All right. Well, you know, what it's Wednesday, and it may be Halloween. But we also have to pump the brakes so O O Reilly. I think we did that better than Andy Jason Mike I've ever done that. I agree. I'm pumping the brakes on Wendell Smallwood and Corey Clement because I believe that Josh Adams will become the man, or at least the man most dependable in that backfield in Philadelphia by the season's end, he's the better bigger stronger running back, and while I know that they kind of lean on Smallwood right now. I don't think that's where they want to be in Corey Clement not enough snaps. I think you've gotta pump the brakes with your your viewpoint. First of all in Clemett. Look I've got him in a couple of leagues I hope for better things. It's not coming. And when I watched the tape he moves his legs a lot. He ain't going anywhere and then window Smallwood right now, the volume's there where you can flex him. I'm not saying that you can't. But I think the Transition's coming. So if there's opportunity to move him if there's opportunity to protect yourself by picking up, Josh Adams. I think that's what you do on pumping the brakes on that backfield overall because. It's just hard to predict unfortunately. Yeah. You never wanna be in a backfield with three running backs. That's why I'm not quite as high on Josh Adams. But I agree. He has looked the best of the three. And I don't have any problem. Pump the brakes on small wooden inclement. I'm pumping the brakes on Alex Collins, speaking of three headed running back by committees. Now, I I had this in here prior to the trade for time on Gumri. So this is an even more aggressive pump to two pumps. Double-o Alex Collins, he's going to be in a low scoring possible. Low scoring divisional game the Pittsburgh Baltimore games. They're not always the fun explosive offense of outputs that you want to see but Alex Jones has been very touchdown dependent this season. He already has five touchdowns on the season. Which is really rescued some of his games where it's like, oh, he was he was pretty good..

"Yup, nets kinda why brought it up to also the play after that. What killed us in the fourth quarter, the Panthers brought a blitz from the outside to the left of Jason Peters, and then they brought it the late linebacker blitz. Now what that blitz on the outside with Mike Adams did was when Corey Clement took the play action, he immediately went to help Jason Peters that cleared the inside lane. 'cause. Decent. Kelsey was on the one tech who slanted created a lane of four delayed blitz by Leuke cly who was an absolute monster. This game monster, but that was free money for him. Come in Fremont, we at out, we got out scheme there and that was a huge play green big swing for us. We were on their side of the field and we just and we stalled out because we couldn't execute. I mean, that was simply you wash that plan you go, yeah, yeah. -at's lewke just choosing to make a crazy play. And that's a situation where I talked about this. I think immediately after the game, I think I posted about this and this goes back to Carson heroism and trying to make plays. I can't remember last time Carson threw the ball away. Can you? I don't think he has one throwaway in the entire twenty eighteen season, which is to its nanna one for NS. Those don't count. All right. Being either grasp and shocking backhand at the nearest receiver. Don't count. Here's what's annoying. I watched that plane slow both three times. I think there's a good chance. He pulled it off. I'm pretty sure he got that ball out before his knee hit the ground. I don't know if it was. He definitely did. He was ruled in the grass for it was whistled. I don't really know which is annoying because I don't want him to pull those off because they're dumb as heck. All right. You can like, oh, when it's the running back and you're in space. Now in those, like put Gillian people around you in the tight end is like all the way past the numbers, what are you doing? But my thing is all right, so you're there and you try to break the Keith. We tackle and you're unable to break it and you're talking at, you're trying to get rid of it. And whenever like this is a situation where Carson goes, I've broken this tackle before I that crazy play against the Redskins I can break this tackle will yet you can, but it's a low percentage chance. And so you've got a big lead. It's I believe, second end eleven at this point if you just get that ball out of bounds. Third and eleven hundred and eighteen and as commentators say is a different. There's no playing the playbook for eighteen. I mean, there isn't right. And so this is what I think an overarching theme is the eagles have really been looking for downfield threat because in general, their offense is very oriented with short yards through the air short air yards per attempts, right? Which the big twenty sixteen complaint. The offense kind of feels like it's gone back to that a do they have a deep threat on the roster Nelson Agla Shawn Gibson have some long speed. Allison, Jeffries a great downfield receivers for us adjusting to the football, but they clearly don't feel like they have that niche role in the offense. Right? I mean, third receivers door Mathews ease never going. Deep is just doesn't like, you know, he ran the Tennessee route in. That's it. So expect Philadelphia to move very hard for a deep threat before the trade line, which is trade deadline, which is all Tober thirtieth because they clearly feel like they need that in their offense. Because right now it is very oriented on these short behind line of scrimmage throws and those negative plays ended up killing them when it came down to the. Stretch against Carolina. And that's her segue into the tread that line early you on talk defense. No, that's the segue you can. You can hit that again, say in that she segue and that's your site way into the trade deadline..

"So I think it's gonna be a defensive game, and I think it's going to be eagles defense that is the factor. Gotcha. Give me a score prediction. What do you think. Twenty two, ten twenty to ten was a low scoring game. They're averaging twenty points on point to game both teams. Yeah, so yeah. So the ten points? Yes. Gets the twenty points. I do think that the Guls will win as well. I think it'll be a little bit higher scoring game. I'd say something like twenty seven twenty one. D- okay, you mentioned JJ. He's now out for the season. He got put on. I r. Do you think that the eagles will go ahead and be fine without him? Or do you see them making a trade for? Maybe it'll show McCoy or something like that to to kinda short trae coins that a mum right now, they're, they're kinda outta stalemate at the moment, so I'm not entirely sure what they're going to do. But I think this is the test how this could go with that Ajayi they're probably end up trading, but we'll they'll see how they're starting right back. Whoever that's going to be. Does yelich cycle be a combination of window Smallwood and Corey Clement at running back, not sure who will be the lead, their those players have played. Throughout this season. So far with different times, one running acting perferred JJ's counterpart compliment player than the other, but it's kind of up in the air at this point. Do you see one of the two taking the reins, or do you think that will just be in a running back committee from here on out unless they make trade. I think they're going to make a trade. I think that's that's what they did last year to get China in the first place. So I think they're just going to go with what they think is working in. That's a trade. I'm not sure what they're gonna treat for who or what are they gonna give up, but I think trade is probably gonna happen. Do you think at trait is necessary for them to have a chance of repeating. None, none necessary, but it it wouldn't hurt, could heart if they don't do it. Right? Yeah, the offense you have alshon Jeffery on the outside who's a really good player as long as he can stay healthy. He's a really good wide receiver for them. He's obviously Carson Wentz his go to guy on the outside, and then you have Zakar. It's one of the best tight ends in the NFL. But beyond that Nelson Al Gore, a player that he does well, at times sometimes he has big games, but yeah, for they do have a handful of players, but I think they really do need one of these running backs to step up whether it's mall would or Corey Clement, regardless one of the guys really has to take their reins. I think both can be used effectively. We even haven't even talked about Darren sproles. Darren sproles is also very, he's just been hurt. He's been hurt. So one of these guys in my opinion needs to step up because yes, they will use all their running backs. The eagles are known for that, but they need to have one guy who they can give the ball to maybe not twenty to twenty five times a game, but maybe fifteen eighteen with a couple receptions and then have the other running back the more of the third down backer the running back spills the starter. Which you agree with that. Yeah, I would definitely say that..

"Of joined the foot dot com. Check those out. Corey Clement, you projecting is he going to be in your top twenty four, Cory Clements will be near that I, you know what's what's ironic even though I like Corey Clement more than window Smallwood in general. I window small is very interesting to me this week. Yeah, I believe that I would start both of these players. I think when the small has the better week is more used in the passing game. I don't. I think on the season I'd rather have Corey Clement because Darren sproles we'll come back. We'll eat into that pass. Catching role. Giving up. I would start both of these guys giants giving up the eighth most points to fantasy running backs, Corey, climent. You got to imagine he is pencilled not penalties. He is sharpie in to red zone role. I mean, he was. He was taking those looks away from JJ. Yeah, he's the goal line back and and the thing is about being the goal line back for the eagles. That doesn't mean you get all the all the touches, the eagles are creative enough. And I, I just say just not stupid enough to go down there and do one thing in the red zone. Oh, let's get jumbo package out here. Put our big. Our biggest running behind me now and just run up premiered to me. I mean, it's so you look at the Rams and you look at the eagles and you see him down on the goal line and they got three wide receivers out there saying, you don't know what we're gonna do and then they'll run it up the middle and score because they can't stack the box. Yeah, but that's, that's. Not being a macho man. I think Corey Clement. Do. The book land. The look that I just got to experience in the eyes of my right when he did the macho man was terrifying. Anna buying 'em you his eyeballs were shaking inside of his skull. Do you get. I'm starting if I've got ads and macho man announcing a football game. Ooh. Footsteps. You're much Othman's terrible the that was really bad. I commend. So you do it can. Thank you. All right. So Corey, Clement, Wendell, Smallwood. I'm starting both of these guys and you know what? I'm not starting them. I'm not starting them at my flex because you're smart. This is Thursday night football. You're gonna put them in as running backs. I believe they do enough that they should be started. And whenever you've got a guy that can do enough, that should be started on a Thursday night matchup it gives you that advantage because maybe Corey Clement comes out has two touchdowns sixty yards on the ground adds another thirty through the air, and it has a monster week. And now you know, for the rest of your matchup in your lineup, you should play it safe. You're out to a lead or he comes out reactivates the quad loses and you and you go, okay, I know I need to swing for the fences. I like the. Strategic advantage of knowing a little bit more about your matchup that you get from starting Thursday night player. So yes, those two are in Zakar tes he's in Alcyone. Jeffrey should get the generous Jenkins experience. That's not a good experience. You don't want that except ginormous Jenkins. He's. He says, I'm really been shown people down, say that's Michael Thomas. But I will say this that was more of a scheme thing. When you watch that game, they were double teaming. Michael Thomas, it wasn't just north Jenkins. I mean, they they were. They were. It was really upsetting. Also Jaffrey seventeen targets in two appearances. This week. I have no hesitance playing out on Jeffrey against Jenkins. Yeah, he is going to be a little bit lower in my rankings, but still in the area where he's just a starter. I mean you you start, you start them in hope for that touchdown, Nelson aga- Loehr hurry. That is exactly correct. I, I'm not starting Alar. I mean, he caught all his targets. This time hundred percent. You'll only in four of them for for forty five, eleven yards a reception. He hasn't done anything this season. That said to me, he must start. Now with Al Sean back, Zakar it's being the clear number one target..

"JiJi good to go Corey, Clement alshon Jeffery questionable, but expect the play Alcyone dealing with an illness the last couple of days and Philadelphia to go along with his shoulder injury. Of course, quit for contact this week, but expected to be out there for Carson Wentz Darren, sproles out. So bang eagles are banged up. They got a tough road contest in Tennessee. This weekend. Okay. What else you have over there, sir? Joe mixing out the Bengals that's big GIO. Bernard's going to get the go there against the falcons. Looks like falcons dealing with a lot of injuries on defense. This could be a high scoring affair like last night penguins off his different without mixing jackhammer arm that position Bernarda pretty good game last week against Carolina, but mixing can control the clock. And that's a big one there. I mean, after the Bengals started for them to go into Lanta and then finish the quarter post two and two, obviously that's not a killer. Falcons needed. Balconies need away, fell. Kids can't start the season losing in Philadelphia in the manner in which they did because it's the same problem that they had and then go home for three straight games and lose two of them. Yeah, where they traditionally play great Matt Ryan, such different quarterback at home and as a huge game. And as we talked about with Greg Olsen, there's only one division where three teams or above five hundred only one, and that's the NFC south one in three at the quarter post point with that defense banged up with a lot of guys out for the foreseeable future and for the season. Look, you could say all the one in two teams that are sitting there playing week, four need to win the difference between two into one and three is monumental, but for the falcons in particular, they would be one in three with only five home games left and seven away games. And the only team in the division sub, five hundred. They got to win that one. So it's good for them that they don't have to deal with mixing because it's the the Bengals are different squad. You could see that through the first month of the season big game in the AFC south Houston and Indianapolis, Houston. Still looking for its first win might get it this week colds dealing with a lot of injuries, Jack Doyle out second week in a row. But Andrew luck will be without both his starting tackles, Anthony Costanzo, Joe Hague both out. And of course we saw JJ watt get back on the sack board last week. I expect them to have a huge game against colts offense law, and then the Jaguars coming off of that offensive -ly challenged game against Tennessee. They take the jets into their house darnold having this is first full week of preparation. He's had in season yet. I full week of preparation, right. Obviously, everybody has a full week of preparation getting ready for week one. Then he had a, he had a short week from Monday to Sunday, and then a shorter week from Sunday to Thursday. Now, after that many by. Jason jets need this one too. Man. Yeah, I never gonna go up against letter format. He was out last week deal with that hamstring. He looks like he will be ago. Okay. On Sunday against the jets. Couple other injuries will Shawn McCoy he, you know, he said earlier in the week he is going to play. He's officially questionable with those ribs. We mentioned Atlanta, devante Freeman, he's out another week against Cincinnati. Wow. Remember that after the Sunday game that Monday that Thursday night opener eventually at the day. Right. Considered minor his plate sense as employed sense, the Tevin Coleman again. And so we'll see what's going on there giants dealing with some injuries on defensive side. The Vernon he's out again, ally apples out in the secondary for that to be a huge came for true breeze. I'm just looking at the Atlanta, the Atlanta schedule after you said that Freemen's not playing in this one also. I mean, they have to make the half to win this when the have to because they're at Pittsburgh after that in week five DEM their home for Tampa and the giants week six and seven. That means when they hit their by week in week eight, they'll have played five home games..

"Corey clement adds to what was already just they're really funky weird box score for this game if you're at a party a super bowl party right now and you have those squares going in you've got certain prop pets uncertain people going over and under totals of thing stuff like that this is maybe the weirdest super bowl we've ever seen lake who had a party has both teams having a score ending in two at the half because that's what this super bowl was whose 22 twelve at the half and then 22 to nineteen a few minutes into the second half and now it's twenty nine and nineteen because corey clement just caught two touchdown pass running back corey clement becomes the first receiver in the game to go over a hundred yards because of course that would be the case right get two catches for seventy one yards and now we just got a pass they went to replay on it it looked it looked close no by the way my bed of under twenty seven and a half points in the second half not looking good right now now with both teams scoring touchdowns on their first possessions actually check that corey clinton three catches 93 yard so didn't go over a hundred but digging into the end zone and the eagles leading the patriots 29 the nineteen a perfectly appropriate score four game in which tom brady is throwing for three hundred forty four yards i don't know what stranger the tom brady has thrown for three hundred forty four yards and the patriots trailed by 10 or that nick folz has thrown for two hundred sixty eight yards period i'm not sure which weirder nick falls in case you're keeping track out there as i promised i would do for you guys he has gone over the total for his passing yards for the game these posted passing your property 250 and a half you can cash your ticket on that thanks to the touchdown pass to corey clement he's now two hundred sixty eight yards so charging their his longest completion prop at thirty six and a half that disappeared in the first half when clement took a catch enron fifty five yards the pretty much anything with yardage pay any yardage pace profit is is headed towards over drunk his totals posted were five and a half catches 75 and a half yards.

Corey clement eagles patriots tom brady nick folz corey clinton three hundred forty four yards two hundred sixty eight yards seventy one yards fifty five yards hundred yards 93 yard
