"Which i think that was exciting to see in. Perhaps the vision for this offense is coming to for Obviously when arthur smith brought the outside zone to atlanta we all envisioned cordeiro patterson playing all important commissions and basically gaining the arts. I mean this is how you draw it up obviously but it's You know it was a nice win for atlanta awful uniforms but One i think fun thing to see afterwards that i just noted and i don't know why but matt ryan was like on fire on the sidelines after this game I like saw him like a mouthed. The words that's what. I'm talking about and like doing really hard high fives. I think we're less enjoyable and probably more painful for everybody else. Your quarterback overdoing that who throwing and And so i thought it was good to see him like that invested. Like i feel like matt. Ryan is kind of ben like apathetic in some way after all like you know weirdness and lack of success in poor roster building. It's it's good to see him just back in in in the game a little bit. Yeah i think you're right in that we are starting to see. The vision comes together a little bit. It was a really slow. Start to the year for the falcons. But maybe they're starting to turn the corner as for the jets. Big issue for zach. Wilson was ball placement. His throws just seemed to be off We talked earlier about just in herbert. Having a an ability perhaps beyond his years to put the ball where exactly where it needs to be and conversely that was really whereas akwesasne struggled against the falcons weird thing too. I mean like that was always something like even back to training camp. You watch that and even in the drills where he's not going against anybody you're like sometimes they're see resented turn backwards lot to get these walls or like you know. This girl should be going really quickly and it's not and it was interesting that sometimes he makes those throw seamlessly in everything. Looks really beautiful. But then like there's a lot of times there doesn't and that's been a that's been really like a fascinating thing to kind of throw on the radar for this year now. The routine has been difficult for him. Yes right in. You know i get it that your offense is supposed to create these sweeping booed action plays where he's going to have the time to look down field like he did. At byu and make the great throws accentuate the armed talent. But if you can't get the unscheduled stuff down than the rest of this doesn't make any sense like nothing works. And so i'd like kind of really interested to see where that goes from here. Feel like all those things could also apply to our podcast at this point. Sometimes the routine is difficult for us. Gotta get on schedule stuff down or this is just not going to work. I think it's really well guys. I think that that big will handsome robot. i mean it just added the whole dimension. Michelle was a you know. If i'm sitting there at home. Having listened to that. I feel pretty good about the direction. This podcast is going in. Like the falcons. Things are really coming together and producer. Shelby's are cordeiro paterson. Yes the finest compliment anyone give you paid our guys was he next on the. Qb monday morning nfl. Podcast is jenny. "Are we giving our. Should we drop daniel jones and teddy bridgewater are they hold. I mean you can. I didn't put them on jobless you know. It's hard to overlook. The three sample size seem to game sample size of daniel jones verses one disappointing game because again he still runs. He did running game But losing the two receivers you know. I think he took a hold approach. He's not you're starting up. You need to make a move clearly. That's the guy you can. You can drop An beasley same thing. I want to see what happens in In this gaming mar matchup. For either guy. I would i would hold both of them. Bridgewater right they said beasley. Yes trying to figure out the a bills fan today. What is going on everything. Alright dave running back. Excuse me other than other than other than old mother hubbard tuesday. I called mother hubbard by late. Go ahead we'll check to make sure. Zach moss cordeiro patterson. The hines aren't out there in your leagues. They're still available and at least twenty five percent of cbs leagues. If they're there. Go ahead and grab them. I would still rather I don't know about rest of season. Moss versus hubbard. I might take moss over hubbard knowing that moscow has a chance to help you of the year whereas uttered could end up getting replaced after those guys. It's just it's ugly. I mean call us check. Maybe assuming that elisha. Mitchell doesn't come back. That would be kind of pathetic if he was second on the list. Royce freeman is out there ninety nine percent of leagues. Don't love him. I'm waiting for the patriots to give. Jj taylor an opportunity. I don't know why they in doing week. Three they gave brand bowling all the work in the passing game. I'm not ready to say to go. Get brent bolden off. The waiver wire Special teams guy who just had to be thrust into action and I don't know. Joe the one other running back that's available in a lotta leagues. If you've got the bench based to get him and them is jeff wilson and we've been saying it every week eventually he's going to come back and eventually they'll the chance to claim a role in this forty niners run game. He's available in. Ab eight percent leaks Okay and for the patriots running back some are obviously throwing to. They're running backs a lot. Bolden had three catches after the white injury. You just don't know who's going to play that role because it would be fairly valuable on fantasy. i think i would hope a harris. I mean you know. That's the best case scenarios any takes takes on the That work in james whitehead thirteen targets in the first two games with twelve catches Jj taylor is the one that would profile the most unless it's bold because the bolden history with team but taylor twenty nine.

"Because when i looked at it last week he was in the nineties. You know because you had the story line and people telling you that he might be the best rams running back. But that's i don't think it'd be the case unless anderson has been significantly. Mistime the thing you've got to look at is how much are they can. Maybe share 'cause through a week and a half. It was all daryl henderson for the most part in terms of workload. So you know it's like you said if you're in the darrell henderson camp. You wanna see tony. Michelle obama said until vida one hundred times and struggle and then henderson gets healthy and he's back as the lead guy but michelle four point six yards per carry last week You know we'll see if the fluky involvement in preseason game for the patriots is something that the rams used because we saw henderson get an uptick passing production this week against the colts. So i think michelle is is obviously worth adding were available. Because we don't know how long henderson might be out if he's going to miss time at all but he clearly is a number two guy there you know. I don't know what they're gonna do jake funk as the third guy but very clearly right now. They're leaning on one running back and that could be michelle could've been camakers the guys to add jd. Mckissick cordeiro patterson alexander madison. You're sitting there looking at patterson and madison does. He don't need to start a running back. Who do you. who do you pick up. I think it probably depends on your backfield situation because there is clearly a chance that patterson is going to help you sooner but lottery. Ticket appeals clearly madison. Because davis goes down. I don't think they're turning to wing it at this point in saying that. They're turning to patterson hard time loving a thirty year old perceiver. Yeah it's nuts. madison kenny. Gain well is fifty. Nine percent avail is rostered. Sorry daryl williams had a rushing touchdown. he might get some of those this year. The other thing that thing. I the reason i put him. There is because if they continue to get frustrated or they start to get frustrated with edwards. Hillary i don't think they've gotten frustrated at least publicly yet You had a bad game on top of a fumble. So do they start to go. Maybe a little bit more in the direction of the guy who helped him in to key playoff games last year and that was williams when Dealer was hurt in lebanon bell. Stunk you know. The williams carry them in the two games against the browns and the bills. You know so. We'll see if that's maybe something. You just wanna take a a stash opportunity on if you have no barasch would you stash mackinnon in a dp. Pr league they just haven't used them to the same degree but maybe earning i mean. My guess says it's going to be a committee. You know but i think more of the more of the rushing opportunities and certainly more than going opportunities. We'll go to williams because they've shown you that already whenever sure i get that other running back by the way other running to consider just the same vein as as madison but with less upside..

"Obviously not be good. Because you're getting a fresh legged young running back for the stretch run and Jv sent me a text friday afternoon. Why all the daryl williams ads. There was the last guy on on this list. I hadn't even like four leaks because they said oh. You're not sure about clyde edwards. Easier if i had known that ever there. Yeah if i had known that he was going to be active. But not play. Might have started daryl williams. Those leagues wouldn't have ended up well but he would have scored more than clyde edwards helaire. Which was you know. Started daryl williams not knowing that edwards there wasn't gonna play 'cause obviously he's listed active. Nobody knows but i started their williams in the showdown on draftking Just because he was so cheap. And i'm like okay arizona's sick you know. Maybe they do give the other guys. Were expensive already right. He was already playing some third downs. Anyway right so. I was like okay. I'll just throw daryl williams. He wasn't awesome but i was like man if he scores. I i did cash. But if if he had scored. I might have had a chance to be a significant winner in that one and Any interest in cordeiro patterson had eleven touches last week scored a touchdown same answers. It's been for the last twenty three years. No i'm gonna say bowl prediction if one team actually commits the court. Our patterson playing running back. I think he could be solid. He's he's really because that's what you wanna do. Is you want to find a converted receiver to commit to giving. He's been more productive. Basically he was like thirty years old when he's had chances at running back he's been like a better running back then. He's been a receiver throughout his career. Basically and he's so good returning kicks he's best kick returner in the game you think he's. He's talented guy. I would love to see him. Actually get good a chance. Give him twenty carries game fifteen. See what happens all right right right right now. You're you're going to speak this new existence and cost david montgomery some playing time. You bastard out. Wide receivers wide receivers here are. Let's look at the check to see if they're available list. Who are the must ads. If you see them on your waiver wire curtis samuel cole beasley allen lazard nelson agholor michael pittman. I mean samuel. Just because if he does play he's got top twenty upside in. Dj moore's absence and then goal beazley's in that top thirty range so those are the two. I think you've gotta look at targets. Have been so consistent you know. It's it's a surprise because he was more productive unless and he's been less productive on more targets..

"Gained over twelve hundred yards rushing for Tennessee in two thousand fifteen as their feature back and there were snaps with Baylor where he lined up as an eye back. I mean, it's it's you know, it's almost the Cordeiro Patterson type situation, but I think that heard made an excellent transition to receiver and he can line up all over your formation. And he's a really good mover for a man that size. Speaking of receivers, Greg one of the other ones. I thought was pretty interesting was the Kansas City Chiefs. Drafting miekel hardman we all know that there's an investigation going on as it relates to Tyree. Kill I think a lot of people out. There are just saying. Well, this is tyreek hill replacement is really that kind of player is he really well in your mind capable being that kind of guy. Well, I think within their offense. Yes. I mean, I, you know, we don't know if he's going to be that guy this year, but he's got explosive speed in vertical ability. He can get on top of the defense. He's got very good run after catch on screen. Shallow crossers? He predominantly lined up in the slot of Georgia. But I think he can line up outside as well. The guy. He kind of reminded me of at times was Tyler Lockett coming out of Kansas state. But I think that hardman in the context of the chiefs offense could be used with experience as as a tyreek hill type player. Look, we know he's got the speed. He ran a four three three three forty and he plays that way. You see that speed on film? Yeah. And you know, it's funny because I think Tyler Lockett that's a good comparison, Greg because I think Tyler lock it kind of is a poor man's tyreek kill if you will. Yeah. I mean, that's what I saw when I watched hard me. And obviously, I when I watched hardman I did not know about the tyreek hill situation or that. I know who would draft him. But I think that that makes sense for the chiefs giving it's likely that tyreek hill is not going to be a chief wanted to ask you I thought it was interesting that the eagles picked JJ or Sega Whiteside from Stanford. I don't remember if we had talked about him when we talked about the receivers or not what do you have for on jayjay for me? Yeah. I mean, I think there were other receivers I liked more than our CEO Whiteside that were available. But what I think doesn't really matter. You know, I think that he was an intriguing to watch. I went back and forth on him. You know, obviously he looks taller than he is. When you watch tape. You know, he's only only six to. I mean, he was not, you know, when you watch them on tape, and when people do games before he gets measured people like, oh, man. This guy six five, you know. He turned out to be six to. I think he's a little deceptive with his vertical ability with his size and Astrid lane. Obviously, he's not a four four guy. The question is can you get on top of NFL corners the way he did college corners? And I think that's a question that remains to be answered, but he has really good body control knows how to use his body. He's got contested catch ability. You know, I think that you know, he's an intriguing guy. But I I wasn't sure when I finished exactly what he'd be. But the strength of his game. Clearly, he's got outstanding ball skills. Ross really good body control and high pointability he goes and gets the ball. How does he how does he compared to L Sean, Jeffrey because a lot of people are saying he's kinda might might might be able to replace alshon at some point. I mean, I could see that in the context of the eagles offense for sure Jeffery was another guy that when you watch them at South Carolina, people started with oh, six forty six five, and obviously wasn't even close to that. Same with our ego Whiteside? You could argue that the traits are are somewhat similar and certainly within the context of the eagles offense. Yes. Darryl Henderson third round pick by the LA. Rams. I think we talked about him with the running backs. But can you we need a quick refresher. Yeah. Because I really liked him on tape. I liked him for a number of reasons. Number one. He ran as an eye back and Memphis quite a bit with a quarterback under center. So he's got a very very good experience as an eye back, which is the foundation.

Syracuse is really Syracuse is interesting watching buddy behind coming in off the bench and neyland threes kidding, really. Yeah. Look nice little player. You already round ball. The only reason is Syracuse play Duke. So I had a chance to watch a couple of those front runners. What you remember? I remember watching Duke way back when with Pearl Washington who actually just passed away recently if I'm not mistaken in Washington, I think he did he played a Duke didn't play Duke. I don't know. I was not born yet. You're probably right. You may not have been bored yet. But I'm pretty sure I am googling that right now. So basically nobody needs to thoughts on what the bears did. Yeah. I like it. It's funny. They didn't make huge splashes anywhere. Yeah. A lot of the other huge splashes were made. And I think what they did was just going out and get guys and going out and getting Cordeiro Patterson fun player to watch can't always catch the ball. Yeah. Great kick returner when kickoffs are leaving the game. But we they'll still be this year. Right. We'll get Louis Riddick input as well here in a moment..

"It is truly diagnosing like it makes sense for me to give the ball to the running back twenty five times today. And there's no they're seemingly no ego in it. Although, you know, he has a super competitive super way about him. But but that transcends the ego of I'm so good at football. It just about what what play is going to get us the most yards right now, we're you know, what estimating to watch. And you can look at it from this Lind's if you agree, right? You've done so many great things you really don't care if it's on you this time that could be somebody else. He's your free advert because you've done it. So many times you've been in the league you've been in VP of the Super Bowl you've done it so many times. But when when when when when Roby Coleman said that about him, listen, this is this is interesting because. Is to your point. He flipped it. He didn't go back out of angry. He didn't say anything negative. You said, you know, what you're right. That's why we have so many other great players that can do so many things, and I love handed the ball off the James wider, reg, Birkett and Sony Michelle or I love getting gronk on a one on one on the outside or element on a choice route out of the slot. You know, or Cordeiro Patterson on speed sweep or some type of he started breaking all these different ways down that they can still hurt you if he's not playing great football. So I thought it was pretty masterful. How he kind of took all that negativity. It turned into some positive. It took it off a him and highlighted his team. He want he because he doesn't want the curse -sposed to in heavy on his shoulders. You know about that will. No one wants that burden. All right. "What they got going on at M B Encino dot com. Tell them that Georgia dot on the folks at ESPN LA sent you. I will on the market. I just got one there. Did you really go? Go see my guy new show take care of ice. So here's the deal patch chiefs. Yeah. Yeah. Let's start with this aspect of it. The patriots clearly dominated the line of scrimmage. They came out there, and they play they played old school football, basically against the new school football and old school one out. Now did they win out because of superior coaching? Or why did that style win out over the more modern day version of it? Well, because I think that the chiefs are more of a nickel team meaning that they like to play with smaller guys. They're not a base team. A bunch of big guys go out there to stop the run. That's just not who yards a bunch of good pass rushers but guys who don't anchor around anchor down and stop the run the patriots. They came out twenty two personnel. Too tight ends to backs that came out and twelve personnel. Full-back Twenty-one personality who backs in one one one tight end they you knew early on. And it was going to be an old school game. And you saw the Sony. Michelle had five carries in the first drive. Then the next drive. It was James light than an ex drive. It was Rex Burkhead then. It was a hand off the Cordeiro Patterson just like they showed me that they were trying to play bully ball. So DeMarco I saw booger McFarland tweet this out as he was watching the game yesterday. He said the way the chiefs were able to kinda stymie the run some in the second half they played the a bear defense. Yeah. Now, my guess is. That's the old forty sixty fence cover the comers under. A guard. Yes. It's it's hard to stop. It's hard to run the football against that. Right. Usually. I don't know. If it worked for you guys whenever we went to bear. It was an instant check on the offense. We just we can't run here. We'll just toss it or throw it or whatever. Okay, show with that said, let's get to the part where everyone's freaking out about today, which is the overtime rules thing. Do you believe that the overtime rules need to be tinkered some or do you believe that it's it serves its purpose? It's not supposed to be like the regular game. They're supposed to be a sense of urgency to it. Yeah. I I think we've is it better than it was before. Yes. Remember, it was just. Feels touchdown now. Right. So the NFL in the one thing that I even learned this yesterday 'cause I'm always about rules. And then all of a sudden, I realized that that in the regular season over time is ten minutes in the postseason. I looked up. It was the bull fifteen you the full fifteen minutes on the clock. You know, ten minutes by quick didn't score games over. They don't want will be I told you earlier the Texas NMLS LSU over time NFL can't do that. Because a player safety, and you only got so many guys. So the way that they have it now to me, it's still the opportunity for both sides. It's okay. If you go down and kick three games not over. Okay. The other team has an opportunity to go out and score feel go and in sudden-death after that or the offense goes down and just drags you down. In score the touch now games over with. "Tell them that George dot on the folks at ESPN LA sent you. I will on the market. I just got one there. Did you really go? Go see my guy new show take care of ice. So here's the deal. Patch chiefs. That's just not who yards a bunch of good pass rushers guys who don't anchor around anchor down and stop the run the patriots. They came out twenty two personnel. Too tight ends to backs that came out and twelve personnel. Full-back Twenty-one personalities who backs in one one one tight end. They you knew early on. And it was going to be an old school game. And you saw the Sony. Michelle had five carries in the first drive. Then the next drive. It was changed light than the next drive. It was Rex Burkhead then. It was the hand off the Cordeiro Patterson just like they showed me that they were trying to play bully ball. So DeMarco I saw booger McFarland tweet this out as he was watching the game yesterday. He said the way the chiefs were able to kinda stymie the run some in the second half they played the a bear defense. Yeah. Now, my guess is. That's the old forty sixty fence cover the comers under coming. A guard. Feels I didn't go with one touch down. Now. Right. So the NFL in the one thing that I even I learned this yesterday. 'cause I'm I'm always about rules. And then all of a sudden, I realized that that in the regular season over time is ten minutes in the postseason. I looked up. It was the full fifty you the full fifteen minutes on the clock. Oh, my oh. I guess they don't wanna fifteen and and then you understand this too. That the NFL does not want game Selassie is go on and on and on. That's why we had so many ties this year. You know, ten minutes by quick didn't score games over. They don't want. We'll be I told you earlier the Texas NMLS shoe tight over time NFL can't do that. "It's the chiefs come in this limit score fifty nine points in the second half of their last two meetings with New England seven on the board there after the four play seventy four yard drive, but Kurdi kickoff Cordeiro Patterson back deeply Enzo, butthurt drives his right leg through the football. Patterson sticks his arms outstretched bounding three the end zone for a touchback and the patriots go to work at a twenty five yard line. Or are you talking about the points? The Ford in the second half this year. That's the punch down passed by. All the second half against the patriots. First meeting while homes had three hundred fifty two yards. Four touchdowns to picks meeting them back from a twenty four nine halftime deficit down fourteen. Nothing at halftime here. It took just a little over two minutes to cut that lead in half. And now back to work the chiefs got to get a stop right here. Three now. It'd be used all get back on the field off setbacks. It's Rex Burkhead the running back on first down Brady straight drop to throw along the right half. Swing pass birkhead up the right side. Log shoved out by Ragland as he goes out near the thirty yard line. They'll Mark him in between thirty and thirty one. It's a six yard pickup on the play. Second down at four for New England. I mean anytime soon in the cell is not in there. You gotta go alert at twenty one personnel ones. The full back. The birkhead is the tailback. I wanna say a hundred percent, but at least ninety five percent of the time with that personnel grouping, Bob Sutton defense. Now, it's Michelle Devlin offset of the backfield on second down on four Brady to throw three step drop. Fires right sideline catches made by Eshelman and pushed out of bounds yard short of the first down by KENDALL fuller ball out of the thirty four third and one for New England and Kansas City's crowd now. Try to rally this deep that's a fourteen seven ballgame. Patriots are to take out their big personnel. Devlin sony. Three wives brocade in the back will actually tied in on third and one seven for nine on third down Burkhead, gene. For the thirty five yard line. And he's got the I doubt he went airborne the chiefs caught him in mid air and Reggie Ragland. He was trying to pull a fish into a bowl trying to yank birkhead backwards, but birkhead won that battle. And he gets the first down default was coming off the offensive left from his defense van position. He's back there. Raglan comfy DA gap jet. Penetration wrap around the legs here, but he's able to get the first down from the thirty five yard line on. I l Patterson field goals in motion radio throw over the middle. Looking for rock if it's incomplete he was well covered at three chiefs surrounding it around the forty fives he slanted from right to left Hitchens the closest to the patriot tight end. And it's second down and ten at the thirty five of New England. He has Sorenson who has the man coverage accident late getting over there. Nice job of getting. Undercutting the route. Brady to put a little too much elevations on that ball. Lands harmlessly. The secondary hit five straight on second down. The shell hit the backfield bounces to the right side and Sony Michelle gets positive yardage on a play that should have yielded negative yardage picks up four to the thirty nine Justin, Houston and Daniel Sorensen. It was Sorenson who whiffed Houston close the deal. Four yards. Later Schwartz has gotta make that way. Is in the backfield and actually making contact with the shell. Right. When the show gets the ball. I'm not sure show about away from him. What does it was ten said? Third and six white in now to the right of Brady. He's in the shotgun. Motion from left to right moving from right to left are the patriots fourteenth. Gray dropped the throw pass deflected. Incomplete batted down by Chris Jones who has not been able to exert the kind of pressure on on. Hit on most of this year. Tony, but he got his big off and swatted that third down pass down. And now the patriots will put it away. Kevin you did it three times last week against the anti walk and right now, you're right. He's not getting in the backfield. He talked all week about the quick motion. A Brady he knocked down tyreek hill awaiting moving to the far sideline. Fields of at the eighteen yard line. Trying to get around Slater backs all the way up to the ten yard line. Now all the way back to the seven yard line. Tackle there with a flag. Dow lost about eleven yards on the return after the forty three yard punt. The chiefs may back up even more with the penalty flag. I think if you're Andy Reid, though, I get mad at tyreek hill he has permission to go anywhere. He walked because that very easily could have been avoided all said bus out there. The return. Return number fifty one. I the city. Frank zombie special teams ace for the chiefs with the flag. They were the most penalized team in the league this year. I won tonight on Kansas City at a time out ten nineteen to go in the third chiefs down seven with the ball buried deep in their own end..

"For reservations, several good news there for the chiefs heard Rostock Xavier Williams came back in with involved in that big stop of Rex Burkhead. Second down and nine thirty three empty backfield. Now for Brady Cordeiro Patterson motioning from left to right. A little flip to Patterson on the sweep he's got a hold of thirties. Patterson? Twenty twenty-five bouncing off a tackle at the twentieth. Pfizer's way inside the twenty to the eighteen yard line for a first down. He picks up. Fifteen. We saw Cordeiro Patterson used the types of sheer Tony as a running back. He gets the little short flip from Tom Brady and a fifteen yard gain gets. I doubt so versatile. And so are the patriots they go from twenty two I out to backs two tight ends the five wide receiver Patterson across out stands blocked by O'Bannon HOGAN. I down to the eighteen yard line James wipe the Kerry pacing it up the middle to the fifteen of four yard pickup. Daniel Sorensen with the tackle second and six one thirty eight remaining in this opening quarter quarter dominated by the visitors from Foxborough seven nothing. New England ninety seconds left in the quarter and looking for more. I drive it was mostly Sony. Michelle we have not seen on the field for the second possession. He's out there right now. First time we've seen him backs offset on second down and six Michelle gets to carry to the right side shrugs off contact with the line of scrimmage and fights forward to the ten yard line for four more and this crowd, which was in such frenzy to start this game. They're all standing everywhere we look at early head stadium. But they're standing in stunned shock right now because the patriots have enforced at assorted. There will on this chief Steve thirty nine carries, Florida. Michelle forty yards. He by far is our best running back. It's just different. What it gets it? He's very patient. He doesn't need a big freeze. He gets a little bit picking up a nice yard third and the tan that'll in emotion from left to right Brady long. Foot gets the shotgun. Snap swings. I down at the five and he dives forward just past the five yard line is various ward touches him up. They'll Mark him out the five a five yard gain first and goal New England, and that will likely be the final play of this opening quarter and what an opening quarter for the New England Patriots. I thought people said they weren't good on the road in the playoffs. Tonight. Yeah. Could slow the clock completely. It's been all patriots, and they're knocking on the door. One more time at the end of the first quarter. New England seven Kansas City, nothing. You're listening to the AFC championship game on Westwood One. Diabetes.

"This was who weeks after the after the draft k said I'm gonna explain to you about this offense. Every time you go back to pass or you're in the shotgun. And you take the ball every time there will be at least one. Receiver open great that is a guarantee, but you don't have much time at all to hit him. That's why the decision making process in this offense. If you're not fast you can't play here. Right. So you better learn everything when I give you a play in you understand the play. You're gonna have two seconds to understand everything about the play. And then to hit the open guy. That's it. Because if you wait too. And if you wait a half second longer, he's not going to be over any more. Right. So that is to me what I think has been missing in Green Bay degree. I don't believe from watching them play. I believe many times because it's interesting the Packers play a lot of national games. There's a lot of cameras on them so Randall Cobb there's going to be an ice. Oh camera on Randall, Cobb and Davante Adams, right? And how many times have you seen on replay? The like, the cloud camera that can see everything, and you don't see a guy either open at all right or open enough to take that risk jockey. Right. And I just keep thinking to myself if mcdaniels is true. And if or if he's right that means you can have a mediocre receiving group and the patriots to put it charitably ah have a mediocre receiving Griff. But they're usually going to have a guy open that Tom Brady can find whether it be Chris HOGAN, right or Cordeiro Patterson or whoever the flavor of the week is Philip door set. Yeah. Right. And so you you don't have a great group. But usually you're going to have that. So I just ask you that. I mean, what do you think of that? Is that right? I do think. That's right. I again, I think that's why we see Aaron Rodgers back there holding the ball because he's going. Well, yeah. I could jam it in there, and maybe Randall Cobb catches it why? He's very securely. Covered. But maybe the defender gets his hand in there and Bassett in the air, then it becomes interception. Then we go. Oh, look at Green Bay. They're in trouble here because eratures don't interception. So he is a really grown in the office to realize you know, what I'm good enough to just sit back here. And if they're not wide open right off the bat, I'm gonna dance around. And I'll wait till I can see something clearly to throw the football because more times than not when I breakdown Green Bay film and anybody ever listened to my podcast or anything like that. I sit there and go, okay..

Texans' Deshaun Watson took bus to avoid plane pressure

"Doesn't need to take. So you as a coach as an owner GMC and you need to get out of bounds. You need to slide. You need to not be taking these crazy hits second leading rusher. Among quarterbacks in the NFL is Shawn Watson. Specifically the game that jumps out to me where he took such a beating was against the Cowboys that Sunday night game in in Dallas Arlington. Jerry's world whatever it is. I mean, that's where he really was beaten up taking shots on designed runs and all of that. And it was something that I think has and will continue to impact his season moving forward. But basically if this games in this games in London late. Let's say the Texans are in that London game. They're going to their backup today. He couldn't handle that flight either they're going to backup or they're saying we're going to risk it. And fly you there or you fire up like a cruise ship. The crew a boat in you get there in time for kickoff. And I'm not saying like, we're not saying to Shawn Watson was kicking a greyhound style. Waiting in line for the latrine at the back of the bus or anything. It was pretty probably did it in style is probably like a prom, probably a prom bus on steroids. Yeah. It was probably like Philip rivers is like personal deal that he does from San Diego from north San Diego County to L A every week or Carson river Sadia, MS. But like, that's I mean, that's that's scary. For a franchise quarterback scary for anybody. But especially the Shawn Watson that was straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless, nationwide coverage on America's largest, most dependable four G LT networks while we were sharing injury war stories, and I'll have anything to contribute to that outside of shredding shredding some ankles playing basketball when I was growing up our the doctor's like, you know, you're gonna need surgery to really fix this. And I was like, yeah, I'm not gonna play in the NBA. I'm not gonna play in college. So I I think a good while you're scarred tissue. Pretty bad. I was like. Yeah. That's all right. Anything anything that takes away from the focus on my face or? A second. I thought your shredding other people's ankles, but you actually reading your own ankles. I went up I that's good. Here's Baghdad gears up one of my tried for a for a pin? Block backwards. Bill jumped tried to pick up on the backboard landed on his foot and another time tried to jump and do some I shouldn't have been doing I legitimately. I was like I could try to I try to like either dunk this or do you like a really cool layup where he slapped the backboard and. Yeah, landed on someone's foot both times it was awful while we were Yemen about that the bears have recovered a patriots fumbles setting them up first and ten from New England's twenty four is Cordeiro Patterson who fumbled on the kickoff after the bears field goal on New England's defense doing its part. So far standing up forcing third and six for Trubisky and company from about the fifteen yard lines. We'll keep you updated on that. Meanwhile, the Garrett blunt continues to have a yards per carry of about one or two as the lions are set up in the red zone. But now facing fourth in short. So we'll keep you updated on what happens with them down in Miami. Where the land. Are already up seven nothing. While you were given that up. Right after the fumble Mitch Trubisky just pulled the absolute Houdini act, and it was a Patrick Mahomes esque scramble and run for a touchdown. I mean, he got in. He got in. He got it was the play had to have lasted ten seconds. Absolutely ridiculous. The hustle by the old line, and he almost just walked in. And right right inside the pylon. He did kind of look see he was slowing down. I thought he was going out of pounds. Like he sorta I in right now Trubisky has more rushing yards then passing yards. He's two of seven for twenty two passing yards. And with that that's an average of three point one yards per attempt. But he's got four carries for thirty five rushing yards and a touchdown elsewhere in that game. I mean, he's completed both his passes to trae Burton. So to for twenty two with Tom Brady five of eight for fifty three passing yards and a touchdown to Julian Edelman who has three grabs for twenty six. Let's go back to MetLife stadium. Vikings
