"And you think about how bad that defense is going to be Tampa Bay has already the first defense that you're gonna look at on the schedule say, oh, boy, I'm gonna start everybody playing against Tampa Bay and my fantasy leagues and in DFS your they're going to play from behind a lot. And it's not just Bruce Arians errands, isn't even calling the plays. It's Byron left, which going the place. And I always like going with quarterbacks that have offense of coordinators were former quarterbacks. So I the only reason why I can't take James says high as seven is because I like so many other quarterbacks better. Now, he said that he thinks drew Brees. I think he said he has big bus potential threes was the number eight quarterback. In fantasy last year in our rankings breezes. I think Huby ten I think this is Cuba's ten at night breeze. Ten Winstons Winston nine. Yeah. It's because of passively. Do you guys feel the same way that breeze could be a bust? I mean. In the sense of comparing him to where he used to be. Absolutely in the sense of him, not being a double fantasy quarterback. I think that's you can still get by with him for a good portion of the season. I don't know if he's somebody that you can say I'm gonna play all sixteen games. I'm gonna play all thirteen in my fantasy games and him be the starter. We saw last year. Tailed off at the end of the season. The nice thing is they got new epn and Jared Goff. But I still think they're going to be the same offense that they've been trying to jerk off cook, Jerry junior, excuse me, the offense, they've been trending toward actually, like the cook addition, I think it'd be weird if they got Jared Goff. That'd be bad for Brees. All right. Let's move on in our top one fifty those one one zero seven one, oh, six Carlo.

"He always knows what's going to happen next. And he's he's interested in that and heading different direction. And with this kind of felt like, you know, they didn't really have a great idea of what was going on kind of felt like they had to you know, react on the fly in sort of grab prepare for different opportunities. And then I end up with a roster that certainly think is still going to be very competitive, and they're still going to be a great team. But you know, it's been a miss gronk. Do you think if gronk retired in three days after the Super Bowl? Do you think they make more of an effort to at talent to this roster when it comes to receivers during the free agent period? I think that it's possibly could have been more involved in some sort of Odell Beckham trade, or you know, it seems like based on the podcast Antonio Brown released. It seems like the patriots were involved. Potential Tonio Brown trade talks. Maybe they would have been a little bit more aggressive in that way. But the the two players that they seem to be or there was a few players over there really tied into knows Adam Humphreys, they were offering more than nine million dollars a year or two copiously Jared cook Jerry coke wind up getting paid a ton by the saints. I'm not I mean, if they were already offering Adam Humphreys more than nine million dollars a year. I can't see them offering him even more than that to sign in New England that just wouldn't have been a smart move at that point. So it really seems like based on the offers that they were giving guys the players that they were in on. It seems like they grunk retirement or is his lack of retirement really didn't seem to affect them that much in the free agency period. They just weren't willing to spend up to what other teams were when it came to Jerry cocker came to Colby came into some of these other receivers they were without him Humphries, unfortunately for. Them. They're a little bit late on that. We're at Humphries already committed to the titans. But just the fact that they were ill or we're willing to go back to Humphries and say, all right. We'll give you more than the titans. I didn't that does say that there were still willing to spend money and that they really weren't all that hampered by gronk decision at that point. Yeah. When I think is so fascinating about their current situation. Okay. You lose gronk. And there's no replacing proxy you. If you sign on of sure signed Jared cook, they're not rob gronkowski, obviously. And I also join Alan. So now, they're down. They're top two tight ends from last season. Chris HOGAN is a free agent filter set Lee resigned if I'm not mistaken focused resigned, then Cordeiro Patterson left good. This is receiving core that is dramatically different from even what we saw a year ago. And then we're also entering the final year of Jillian elements contract enjoyed them. And of course, was great during the Super Bowl won MVP. But he's thirty two guy who patriots typically. They don't tend to keep guys around into their late thirty minutes late thirties at skill positions. You know depends on the price tag, obviously. But a chance that might not be on the roster next year either. I think I think there's a better chance than maybe it would be for most other players position. But there's still a chance that we could see a totally different receiving core than even the group seen over the past year or two even that group has not necessarily always been, you know, the two thousand seven patriots in terms of receiver depth either. Right. It's there's definitely a lot of uncertainty around that position..

"But will it be willy being willy being worth the price of admission because here's the thing you talked about Albuquerque mayor and then have like Mark Ingram behind it. I look at this and saying, okay, you have JJ and you have a guy like navy. I'm Bill, right? Because Jay doesn't have to be your number one guy JJ that can be that guy. They spread him out because he can be that other. Right. But if you got a guy like Bill think about this. He's got it. He spent a year off. So he's got he's got a year. He's got a year shelf life you're longer shelf life, right? He hasn't been hit obviously gonna take awhile to get back into football shape. But I'm no he'd been working out in the Indian room. He's been working out. He's been watching film and so forth because this guy. This guy is a workforce. He has a silent attitude, but he's he's a smart, dude. And the thing about it is he's not gonna anybody play him less than what he's about you. And so if I'm the Oakland Raiders, I least take a look at Bill, and that is beyond will want to sign with my organization, but you pack to look at lady on bell. If you end up drafting guy JJ because if you're trying to build this offense juggernaut that you vision of your job Luton, you're gonna have to have pieces to put that together. The same way Wallin's did down there with with drew Brees and gave drew Brees some help because you antics that O line as well and drew Brees to help as well. Maybe not so much at the wide receiver core but in the running game. So if I'm Jon Gruden I have to look at least have to look at lady on, and I and I know that that that Gruden does light Levy on cars. He likes them runner. I don't know what it stands for us. Now, he's the head coach and wanted to bring him on his qua. But I know he he respects maybe on running ability. We all talk about the office of presence as far as Derek Carr who was his favorite target. Well, we all know his favorite target is Jerry cooks. Jerry cook is the fourth Beth tied in innocent. "I mean talking to you and being able to talk to people out there. It's it's fun. This is nice. Thank you. But you've been sick. I can tell you is what it is. You a fever? Just you know, when you say you have hot is your eyeballs feel hot. Brock. Is giving me the stay away from me cross. Well, it circulated through your house. Yeah. Oh, sure. Sure. You very close to your boys or that's what happened. I'm a big kisser and toucher. Yes. Malls. Do that's what I do and one more thing. And then we'll move on. What did you in? So being sick. Did you still have to do your thing? Like this morning. Did you cook, Jerry? Yeah. Green beans, French bread. They all like bread and Troy their favorite. It's that you Brown. And then you take the trees out and put it into bottom of nine by thirteen dish. And then in the grease of it quickly quickly flat. Frat flash fry thin sliced chicken breast, and you put the spicy cheese on top. That's gooey. And then you bake it for like, twenty minutes a little Tex-Mex. Where did you learn this? I think going to patrol, and it's one of my son's favorite restaurants. Okay. Excellent. That's what they do. There's this better. But they'll eat it. So that's very very good. So let's get into this really sweet store, you you you produced and we're to talk about because we like to end the show every night with something actually very positive, and this is so this story is part of biweekly series. Okay. On spark that celebrates people. Who reaching across a divide to build bridges with people who are different from themselves and sparks the sparked bridges project is made possible we should say with the support of UPS that said this is a group of five north Allegheny high school boys, all them outlandishly, bright, different backgrounds, different cultures different everything and they saw a need and they stepped up to to fill the need to. I don't know do something. And they they call it one book. It's the sweetest thing. Listen. Five friends from north Allegheny high school do all. Working towards one goal that they called powerful necessary. Using books to better the world, lots of students in Bangladesh, and many other developing countries don't have resources that. We've fortunately do social tiptoe while had came up with a plan. He wanted to send books to his cousins and other students oceans away to share with them, the English language and our American culture should dip do and his friends. Call their labor of love one book, but they needed help accumulating enough titles to send to students overseas to places like Panama, where should it does friend Nick spent a semester and a lot of the kids there similarly to Bangladesh, though, they have English programs. They don't really have the materials and resources necessary to grow up on the OJ have. So the five friends started to have book drives and the books poured in. Do take books for granted on teach us a lot about the English language, and in terms of these developing countries that don't have them any resources or funds teach their kids English from these books, which all of us have lying around our house. I know my grandfather always used to say that a book something that never stops giving and you can always use it. And even if you're done with it, you can always give it away and give people have boys are encouraged by one books growth, but not quite satisfied. Like, there's so much more. We could be doing, and that's why we're trying to expand as fast as we can it just makes me feel happy back and try to help these kids again experiencing the never before. And what's so great about these young men is that? Okay books are heavy. How do you get them overseas to Bangladesh to any place that doesn't have access to literature, and that's how a lot of these places? How kids learn the English language? So they would get friends who they knew were traveling back. To their home countries to pack a big bag of you know, a bag that they would then ship with them and deliver those books to people now there are five oh one C three. These boys have gone through the hoops. So they'll have funding now to ship the books all over the world to developing countries and other places that just don't have access to our English, language or culture. It's a beautiful story. And if they want to see the entire things that sparked sparks, I just put it on my Facebook page, so positively Wendy bell on Facebook. You can see it there a link, and it's just it's so neat to see smart children doing something really beyond themselves. This is what kind of jumps out at me all these stories that we try to tell here is that what is it about those kids the step up like this or other kids play Nintendo on us? It is. And it makes me feel kind of like a failure. Shirley. But I think we have to find something for all of them to do. Yes. Yes. We're finding really liberal from Arizona. How was she eleven eleven right in briefly. She was going around doing what? Oh, ruby Kate. Yeah. For arkansas. Apologized Kate she she was hanging out with her mom is a is a nurse practitioner at a nursing facility there, obviously senior citizens ruby. Kate started talking to all the people sitting in their wheelchairs, kind of ignored in the lobby and she started asking him. If I if I could grant you three wishes, what would you wish for and they wished for the sweetest things? Just like I wish I could have fresh fruit. I haven't had a strawberry. Eight years. I I wish for a softer pillow or a pair of pants fits. So she started a gofundme may she's got eighty thousand dollars. She changing line. She's changing eleven and she's she's going all the nursing homes in her neighborhood and granting these wishes so time after time day after day, we tell these stories we collectively as adults who have kids have divined away. So that someday we're telling their story. Yes. Look at my kid did. Yes. Or get out there and do it son. Amen. And don't make the order. You do it do it. Because you want to make a difference that sets do it because your call to do not because I'm making you do that. So you can go play fortnight in. Yeah. So your gratin and grown in the whole time. Right. But it's very special. I think these stories kind of reinforce. Why they're here. Yes. And why we're here in an great stuff, really.

When you see the the guy that has the guy the practice squad in and seeing all year. That's right. By the way, I got place to get that the five hundred thousand dollar bonus. Well, you're not gonna get it today. Boy. About this at that happened to you about how this would be to the game. I'll be pissed to place. I mean to play. Wow, I see like that'd be like forty nine point five percent or something like that. Or to nine point nine nine percent. It hurts. It hurts. Tony I'd heard so. Stuff. You get on the seven bible. That's exactly exactly I mean, you know, that's what you come here for. That's why it's college. Hey, if you had gotten that I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your money, but our podcast could have been a lot nicer. I remember this. I remember I remember I called cook. Jerry, Jerry Jones, and my my my defensive line coach his name was Craig bullet time, and he knew what the what was going on. And so I was so mad I called, Jerry. And I said man said, you know, what? That's that's wrong. You know, the owners of business people. I mean, that's how they make any goes. I Tony I'll make it up to you in a future on Phil like going up to twenty something years later and say man, thinking make up that two thousand geria-, you know, we we want to do some we wanna repaint. So I know. Wow. That's interesting to know what that's the that's the business planes, the NFL, or any sport people understand that you know, they it's a ruthless cutthroat business. That's out the, you know, these owners make money and just when you think they're not watching their county. Yeah. I'd be curious to know if there's a spreadsheet on somebody's desk this week. Says hey, tell you how many. That's one thing. I know the salaries are gotten a lot larger, but I guarantee at the ascent of packages for plays and everything else all the languages in the contract and believe believe me, they keep they the counting department understands and keeps close Islenet interesting. Okay. So regardless of what happens whoever gets paid, hopefully, everybody does hopeless raining money. The Cowboys are the force in the NFC. There are two possibilities as far as they could play. If the Seattle Seahawks defeat the Zona cardinals at home on Sunday, an overwhelming likelihood, then it's them. That's what the commerce draw the hawks. If the Seahawks lose and the Minnesota Vikings win against the Chicago Bears and the bears themselves could plan for by. We don't know. There's a lot going on then. Exactly. However, the Philadelphia Eagles could sneak in as the sixty in the NFC. But the only way the Cowboys could play the eagles in the playoffs for the people that are concerned would be if the eagles got in which would require win on their par- Anna loss from the Vikings. So if the eagles got in and then both the cow was an eagles made it all the way to the NFC championship game. Then the college would host the Todd game that seems pretty improbable. It does seem Tony. There's an actually an eighty six percent chance that the Seattle Seahawks who the Cowboys play. I think I speak for both of us when I say I'd rather play the Vikings. But I'm not terrified of the hawks. Well, I mean, probably I would have said that. Eight weeks ago. But now you look at the stats and the NASA football, they're number one in rushing the rushing almost one hundred fifty nine yards per game Stephen ball and back to that. He was wasn't held and Steven don't even watch too many movies over the brain Alabel. Yeah. But. Thug. Ball Alva easy. He's been tremendous. And and I think it comes down to quarterback and their defense is playing well, so they're different team now. And I think that that's the scary part about some of these teams is that..

"They're gonna have a little bit more faith relying on him. They'll give mixes more touches than game. No detailing man Ezekiel Elliott with all these catches heath who's your number two running back next year PR. He's probably I don't know. It's probably sake one. And then Zeke Burke is very good. Just he is he had a phenomenal game. Aaron Jones also showing up. He says seventh or eighth took took a while. I was sitting at what is happening Jones. But yeah. Yeah. Right. Yeah. That up with more than one hundred hundred six yards or no one hundred six yards and a touchdown total yards hundred six total yards wide receivers fantasy week fourteen. Who's up top? Who's that? Leading the way we know Amari Cooper is number one juju Smith Schuster is to Julio Jones is three. Jarvis Landry had an interesting game. Three catches fifty seven yards and a touchdown to carries fifty four yards and a touchdown. He's ahead of t y Hilton and Kenny stills in non PR, but Landry is behind Hilton stills and PR, but your top six or Cooper juju. Julio Landry TY Hilton. Any stills? He theory action. Well, I mean like if you just look at what Jarvis Landry a receiver. It was a disappointing game considering the match up, but the rushing production makes him awesome this week. And he did score the touchdown and Baker again didn't throw it very much. So the targets I guess aren't quite as disappointing more targets. Those not really very good. No matter having throws it. PY Hilton was awesome considering the stakes of that game. And the fact that he was injured coming in. He may be a second round guy next year. He's so good nine catches one hundred ninety nine yards incredible game for to Hilton one of the funniest Joe Philbin things ever and involves Salil Jones his first catches were questionable. Right. And Joe Philbin burned. His two challenges believe it was within the first two minutes, the fastest ever. I mean, it's just that's a credible. Good. Get rid of Mike McCarthy. Just that was awesome. I thought I thought he was gonna win the second one. But the first one. Your your top tight ends in fantasy week fourteen. This is always a great list actually at one point this was the most predictable list. Look these names Kittle gronk Cameron -brate to catches twelve yards. Two touchdowns. The only tied with two touchdowns Keno. Gronk Cameron braid Travis. Kelsey, Eric Ibran, Jared cook, there's your top six. I mean, that's that's perfect. Is there should have been Dow's got her. Yep. Yeah. It was a terrible. Did they score on that drive? They might. You did. Okay. So it didn't decide the game. But God had four catches forty four yards and a touchdown. He had a long one called back on offense of pass interference. Which was which is not a good call. But who were your top six tight ends this week? The only one missing his Erz. From where was Jared cook? Jerry, cook was six. In non PR and fifth and okapi are. So yeah, it's just basically Cameron bright replace Zakar tes and other than that all the tight end and PR Samuels would have finished with fifteen points. With fifteen points. Okay. So that probably would have put him six seventh or so six or seven he finished with what eight nine people are not well depends on if you have fractional touring decimal scoring or not aid in nondecimal scoring nine decimal scoring. Yeah. He would have been right there with which cook. And basically we said, yeah, I think it would have been six or setting it anyway. But he had a nice game. All right was boring this week. Let's talk about all the games. Let's break them down. We're gonna get to each game. One by one of our fantasy thoughts right after this. What's up? Everybody will sit here..

Actually, you lose most of the heat through your head. I was told seventy five percent. We get off on topic sometimes on talk radio, which is why I love it. Rather than the same old same old? Hey, bill. Hey, how you doing Marty? All right, man. Hey, I work winter. I worked I was worked as asking instructor. Yeah. And I ended up in the attic I had zero heat for the whole winter. Oh. Good defender. Those guys can knocked down shots. It should be a really good season for that point shot from quail not advice. Sean Louis fast-break Weiss Weiss lives it up not good tip in by John. And the aggies take a timeout. Gene. The tip. And we've got a time out of this scoreboard with one twenty to go in this game, the Mexico state Seventy-three, North Dakota state fifty four back to the pan. Am center at a moment. "You'd mentioned Eric, Jared, cook, and their strength that maybe their best bet would be to make those quicker passes to tight ended. Keep them honest over the middle at maybe dump a lot off to to Jalen Rashard and whatnot. But I I, in terms of like just the fact that he's that he's the next in line for the for the guy to break out. It just seems like it's just seems like it has to happen, and it would be interesting to see if that if that does come to come to pass just based on the pattern that's being formed, but it's hard to imagine how it would happen when you you're, they're sending the kind of pass rush at the raiders the way they are in the with the kind of locked down corners and safeties that they have on that team. The logical progression, I would be going next, but they, they definitely need a combination of deep passes and short more precise throws to Jalen Rashard or Lynch coming out of the backfield and especially, Jared cook. Jerry cook is going to be pre difficult for the Browns to cover with their linebackers this week. I'm and I don't see the. I don't see them having anybody who can really match up with him the way that the dolphins could and the dolphins didn't even have that much success and frankly needed the Broncos either. But I think Jerry cook is going to be a big weapon. And I think Brian's going to have to get involved in the game and step up in a big way for the raiders have success. Yeah, he had has to happen at some point. So no time, like the presence. 'cause they're Owen three and. As much as they couldn't afford dropped at one three, they sure as heck can't for to drop to our in four and the Browns look tough, but we have to remember they are still. They've still only won one game this season there. One one on one, so and the raiders are actually favored by by a lot, but they're favored and they've shown signs urine there. Certainly in the first half of each game that they can be begging put some offense on the field and and their defense can can do a little bit here and there as well. So we'll see. We'll see what Baker Mayfield brings to the table. I think one of the things working against them as town. I think we touched on this just how little tape they're able to put together on him that he has to. He's only played a little over a half MRIs in maybe look at maybe what he didn't preseason, but it's hard to look at preseason too much because you don't really know. What their game plan isn't. Even the game that he came in last week. He comes in the game and he's he's running an offense that they put together for tyrod Taylor. So how much you can glean from that. I mean, it's it's limited. The maybe go back. Maybe we'll go back to college. The week that we're going to find out if you Jackson is an actual NFL head coach or not. Because we've seen Hugh Jackson coach the Cleveland Browns for quite some time, but he has not ever had a team. I think this week actually has a decent team and he has Baker Mayfield a quarterback. And if you Jackson is an NFL caliber head coach than he'll win this game, you mentioned you bring up Jackson's the one part of this question that we haven't really haven't really mentioned yet. No former raiders coach coming back to Oakland, the team that that gave him the job and then pulled the rug out from underneath them after one season where he got within an eyelash making the the play playoffs. And I mean, I don't believe there's. There's too much of a grudge there. Personally, Dynevor said he thinks it's water under the bridge is well this because of how much time has passed. And you know you Jackson's win..

"In their direction and then i thought they really increase the defensive intensity after you know maybe three four five minutes in that third quarter when and that's when they started forcing some turnovers i thought also lebron at the end i mean he made the right play a number of times down the stretch and threw it to guys who just missed open threes and then he took two threes of zone in a row in the festive sealey moment where he got support a switched onto a hit two threes on him to actually put the cavs up by one at three hit a personal eight oh run or absorb it was a seven rings that he missed one of free throws to tie it and then the pacers just outsourcing and the cavs couldn't score bogdonovich hit that ridiculous three from thirty feet off of a scramble and ola depot was just there headed just double depot because they have no room protection even if they're just leaning back at the rim it was meaningless l depot was only one out of eight from three's been off from three in these last two games but it didn't matter he's just so fast he's getting room they had to double team and then the pacers were carving that up and it really should have been even worse like that thad young monster dunk was taken away by needless file by sapone us for example like a thought the pacers scoring in the second half actually understated how badly they were hurting the cavs in terms of their shock quality and for those that didn't watch this game you could see victory depots line five fifteen from the field one of eight from three five turnovers seven assists and go oh well he wasn't that great almost everything positive that indiana did authencity during his thirty nine minutes which was a lot was due to the attention that cleveland pay dollah depot that was true on the doubles and then when one of the smart other adjustments that macmillan made in the second half again not in the first half was just not bringing a screen i mean the whole point of screen is to create separation to to basically dislodge ma defender and men with ball figure depot in that zone himself and he cooked jerry smith a couple of times in game two he.
