"And by the way. Way if he somehow had even laundered money to dare Pasqua to the tune of nineteen million dollars at some point. Investigators would have turned that up, and we know that investigators went through his financial records. They didn't turn this up. So that debt because we know that they didn't turn that up. We know that dead still stands and the emails turned over to investigators show that man afford remained in regular contact with Constantine Kalinic, his longtime employees in Kiev throat, his five-month tenure at the Trump campaign, and you know, metaphor really needed work, which is why it made it very eyebrow. "So here's the subject matter. Additional evidence concerning one prong of the third subject matter area addressed in the courts ruling in which the court's order identifies as the defendants quote, multiple false statements to the FBI the offices special counsel. And the grand jury concerning matters that were material to the investigation his interactions and communications with Kalinic. Again, we learned from the mistakenly non redact at filing that this is Paul Manafort turning over campaign. Data to Constantine Kalinic a known Russian intelligence asset. And then and then it says specifically at issue is the court's finding that Manafort lied in claiming that he and then it's redacted and the information is after the hearing two days later on February fifteenth twenty nineteen Rick gates was interviewed by the special counsel's office. Now again that significant that is still talking. Rick gates, but and as discussed below gates confirmed that blank stated that he did not blank gate stated that he did not understand the blank but related to blank as noted below. As a result of learning of new information about a possible blank the government. Again, reviewed the evidence. The government had been aware of blank but identified another blank both blank had been propriety to the to the defenses part of discovery during the December fifteenth interview gates said he remembered that he used blank in preparing for the blank, I'm not going to continue to read with blanks in there. But but I am going to say that the government felt like gates his testimony implicated the judge Jackson's finding that Paul Manafort lied about his contacts with Constantine Kalinic. This is an area that is potentially core to the question of Russian interference with the election. And we don't know what. Gates said to ac-, we do know that it was significant enough that the government felt like it needed to file this pleading in the next couple of days manafort's, lawyers may or may not file something in response to the. So we will continue to monitor and maybe we can discern more from what Manafort has to say, particularly if they argue that this is sculptor, Tori, right? That this says that this that says gates went back and told them something and approve that Manafort didn't really talk to Kalinic after all they may let it lie, right? Because you may recall that this concerns one part of multiple findings that judge Jackson found that that the Paul Manafort had lied, and even if she were to reverse her factual findings on that that would still leave him in breach of his plea deal. So we're gonna have to find out. But this is not something I've seen anybody talk about and the pleading is weird right it it's coming up in. A supplemental capacity is kind of weird though. The obviously total lack of information is kind of weird. So I want our listeners to know about it. I want us to know that we're gonna be watching. All right. Very interesting and time and just so for the physicists in the crowd. Two minutes for Andrew is seven minutes, six and a half minutes for us. "And even if they're not interconnected at least not yet quite yet. Chances are they soon will be the rush investigation. And the man who will have the final say in it. Once the Senate has the final say on him will have plenty tonight and willing bars confirmation hearings and how the president's pick for turning general quitted himself today. I though we have breaking news in the Muller probe a new court filing from the special counsel that conceals quite a bit. But also speaks volumes at the same time. See national Mon procure best has the latest joins us out. So talk about what's in this filing. There's really a lot and Senator, you know, we say that they have redacted a lot of information. They have concealed a lot of information. But when you read through these documents, it's eighty pages of exhibits and evidence essentially against Paul Manafort, and then thirty pages of an affidavit from an FBI agent that really gives you a blow by blow list of how Paul Manafort lied to the special counsel. And one of the things that we learned is that he'd lied about the frequency of contact. It's that he had with this Russian by the name of Constantine Kalinic that the FBI and Muller's team has accused him of working for the Russian government being intelligence official for the GRU. So we have that you also have things about business dealings, Paul manafort's business dealings meanings. He had there's information about another DOJ investigation that we know nothing about that Paul Manafort was asked questions about and then of course, there's information in there about Rick gates. This was Paul manafort's deputy during the campaign. He's cooperating with the Muller investigation. He gave over a lot of information concerning poll Madame foot, but one of the central things in all of this is that this shows us that the grand jury here in Washington DC, still very active and at the center, perhaps all of this in this collision investigation is this Russian Constan Kalinic and port of the filings today reveal that Manafort began communicating with clinic on August, second two thousand. Sixteen while he was still campaign chairman to then candidate Donald Trump, and that's important because for a long time. Now, a lot of the president's supporters and the from the White House we've been hearing. Well, whatever Paul Manafort, did it was long before he had anything to do with the campaign. Right. And that clearly tells us that that's not the case. This is also the person Constantine Kalinic, Paul Manafort share those secret internal campaign polls with during the campaign all their information. He's met with this, man. Several times it would seem through these documents. That Constantine Kalinic is still very much at play all of this. And that the grand jury is very much still investigating him, and he could potentially face more charges. I think this is very important in terms of what this Russian education is. And what Robert Muller has been mandated here to do which is to investigate Russian interference in the twenty sixteen election. And we learned today also that according to molar, they need more time with Rick as right? Yes. Another sixty days. Yeah. There. He was due for sensing update. A report from the mother team today. They asked for an extension sixty days as you said and the significance of that tells you that they're just not done with him. He's still cooperating he still providing information, and these documents layouts what some of that information is. But also, would it could tell us that maybe this is not gonna wrap up as quickly as we thought because they're not ready to sentence him. And they now need two more months Shmona. Thank you very much. That was unfolding. President Trump's choice to run the Justice department went before the Senate Judiciary committee, William bars, generally been there before he was attorney general during the first George Bush administration. He's known and respected in Washington. Both sides of the aisle, perhaps under other circumstances confirmation. Hearing would come and go without much attention. But keeping them honest at simply not possible. Now, it's no exaggeration to say that if if and when Mr. Boras confirmed he'll take the job at the most consequential moment for the rule of law, and the constitution probably since Watergate and that light, given those steaks is nomination is generated equal measure..

"Revealed in a court filing for the special counsel has evidence. Manafort shared polling data with an associate linked to Russian intelligence during the twenty sixteen campaign as special counsel. Robert Muller continues to pro Russian interference in the election. It's the first time a Trump official has been accused of sharing campaign information with Russian interests. The associate is Constantine Kalinic who worked closely with Manafort for years promoting Russian-backed Ukrainian interests the filings. Also. Reveal Manafort may have discussed Ukraine peace plan with clinic on more than one occasion. Investigators have been questioning witnesses about whether Russia tried to influence the Trump campaign to broker a resolution to hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. The new details were revealed in a defense filing that was supposed to be redacted, but through a cut and paste error could be read Manafort was convicted on charges of tax and Bank fraud last year. Special counsel has accused him of violating a subsequent plea deal to cooperate in the investigation. President Trump continues to deny that there was any coordination between his campaign and Russia because there was no collusion manafort's contacts. Are exactly the kind of new information that we expect to be included in Muller's final report, the president could try to prevent portions of the report from becoming public back. Congressional Democrats have vowed that it will be released even if they have to subpoena, Robert Muller. Paula Reid is CBS news the Justice department. We also learned on Thursday that President Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen will testify to congress next month. "We have seen on every other issue is it really shady that. The Trump administration is. Is trying to lift sanctions on Oleg their Pasquas business empire right now, given Oleg their Pasco's relationship to Russian interference in our election and the larger scandal that relates to the Trump administration there in if it is shaded that the Trump administration is trying to lift these sanctions now could this actually be something we're both houses of congress and both parties act like they did before on Russian sanctions to brush back. The Trump administration on this issue live question, and we're going to have more on that coming up tonight as well. And that relates of course, to the new revelations about Trump campaign chairman, Paul Manafort as we learned yesterday manafort's defense team, inadvertently disclosed information in a court filing yesterday that was supposed to be redacted, but apparently manafort's lawyers don't know how to use that part of the software that prevents people from reading the text behind the black boxes part of what we accidentally learned. Because of those bad reactions yesterday is that prosecutors in the special counsel's office have alleged that Manafort shared polling data from the two thousand sixteen campaign with his business associate Constantine Kalinic. And again Kalinic has twice been described in court filings as having links to Russian intelligence in the view of the FBI. Kalinic himself has now been indicted in the Russia scandal, he has not however been arrested or brought into a US court. He's believed to have fled to Russia to avoid US Justice, which means we may never see him in this country. Again, there's also very few known photos of him. This is almost one of the only ones we've got. He's just not a person who you have seen on television. But it's interesting in April of last year Radio Free Europe was able to track down constant in Colome neck, and they were able to conduct a brief interview with him in part about his relationship with Trump campaign chair, Paul Manafort, it's an audio interview. It took place in a sort of noisy. Cafe. But we've we've got the audio of it. And so you can hear how Constantine Kalinic in. This interview describes Paul Manafort, and what Paul Manafort was good at in his work. I can't say. His guy who can merge. Strategy the messages into something. That's. We'll work for victory. I mean, he has done all across the world and kissed on it really just terrorists killed. Honestly. I mean, you know, seen him work in different countries. And. He really does takes very seriously his bowling and be like, you know, two weeks, you know, going through the data come with the best that she ever. Put on the table of the candidates takes very seriously. His polling. He will spend weeks going through the data again that is the voice of Constantine Kalinic who was believed to a fled to Russia. He has been indicted in the molar investigation he's assessed by the FBI to be actively linked to Russian intelligence for years..

"Were provable either that or he didn't realize perhaps some of these things that he is said to have lied about including his interactions with this guy Constantine Kalinic the special counsel has documentary evidence Email. Techs phone communications to prove his lies. Did he not realize they had this capacity Kalinic who's Kalinic in this Constantine Kalinic is a man who's been identified by Robert Muller as having ongoing ties with Russia intelligence. He was sort of manafort's right hand man in Ukraine when metaphor was representing that Russian-backed, Ukrainian politician. He spoke the language Manafort didn't he made the trains run on time? But there is some suspicion that he was a Russian operative the entire time and the role that he's played that he has played in manafort's interactions with Russians or in the campaign and his role with the Trump organization. That's always been kind of a mystery as you said he is indicted as part of this obstruction conspiracy. But he's in Russia now, so he's out of reach of Justice. But that to me is the most intriguing thing about this tiling that Manafort, and then the second most intriguing thing is ongoing contacts that Manafort had with senior administration officials in the Trump administration while he was under dight -ment in up to may. Of this year. It's just texting he wrote a he wrote an op Ed I mean, one doesn't give living in Paul that affords head is an interesting experience. Matt Miller people could understand that Michael Cohen stuff. It's pretty basic, right? Donald Trump directed him to do lots of things including pay to women off. So that they didn't talk to the papers. And then go to the National Enquirer to catch and kill a story. The Manafort stuff, given the narrative around how this is all coming together, where do you place the Manafort stuff, look, I think the question coming into this found ever since we've found out that Paul Manafort had lied, according to special counsel and violated the terms of his cooperation granted the question was did he live out his individual personal criminalize -bility, his lobbied business, his finances? We're getting live out things that related to the president and things that related to the Russian investigation. And the answer is both. He lied about all of them. And I think it's interesting because if you look at the specifics of his lies about constant clinics. Remember what what appears to be about? What happened? When Paul Manafort was the campaign manager Constantin clinic, flew into the country had a me with Paul. Fort they talked about how Paul Manafort could make good with this guy. That's right. They owed money to he. He. The those that he could give them Intel on the on the election. The he gets access to the Trump campaign. And the thing that I find interesting about the file is the fact that all of this that is blacked out. And what that tells you is that that relationship with clinic and that incident or those incidents of communication while. He was the campaign chair are something that are still relevant to the to the Russian investigation. And so we have heard from the president over and over again, I think we heard it from Sarah Sanders tonight that Paul manafort's crimes palm the things that had been has been prosecuted for have nothing to do with the president. They're all about as business before he came to work for for the for the president. We found out tonight that that is absolutely not true. So I'm looking at this this document and the reactions number one the interactions with Kalinic. It's all like, this whole thing's redacted, it's almost impossible. I don't know Ken when you're reading this what you were able to make out other than the fact that guy named Constantine Kalinic written about there is a reference to a meeting between Kalinic any third individual, not Manafort. And of course, that is. A huge reporting tiger right now allies to find out who that person was in wives relevant. Here's another way to think about this. So the the.

"Dot com. The tasha Tron staff writer at the Atlantic, and back with me is Bill, press. Author of Trump must go. All right. So I want to go around this a little bit and start with Unitas because a lot of reporting, you're the lot sort of Russia related stuff. There is this report of the New York Times attempting to flip some Russian oligarchs was description. One dramatic encounter FBI agents appeared unannounced uninvited at the home of Mr.. Dare pasta. He maintains in New York. And pressed him on whether Paul Manafort former business partner of his new come to be chairman. Trump's campaign had serve as a link between the campaign, the Kremlin's you have that reporting that is making Donald Trump, go crazy. You also have a guy called Sam patent who pleaded guilty to violating the fire act board agent registration act and has been charged and pleaded guilty here is Julianne really Julie any talking about that plea on Friday. Nothing to do with the president, nothing to do collusion everything to do with a lobbyist to acted improperly. The president doesn't up so far every indictment is unrelated to the present. We went through an entire metaphor trial, and there wasn't a single mention the this was a related directly, the inauguration, the president. Okay. You could just explain very briefly who said patents 'cause you reported I'm early. Yeah, I reported on him back in April. When I was doing research on Constantine Kalinic who of course is a longtime associate of both Paul Manafort and this man named Sam pot, and he essentially is very much like Manafort figure kind of a gun for hire. He worked on behalf of very powerful people in other countries, oftentimes corrupt and he has known. He is constantly clinic for about two decades. Now. They first met in Moscow in two thousand one. They worked for this thing called the International Republican Institute, and they've worked on and off together for the last twenty something years. And when I was looking into Kalinic, I realized that he had actually opened up a company in Washington with Sam patent, and that struck me as very odd. What did this company do? Why was Kalymnos kind of able to ingratiate himself not only with Manafort, but in Washington, DC culture and politics. And it turns out that you know Sam patent when I reached out to him to ask about why he was working with clinic in this capacity, he would not really elaborate. All he said was that his clients were based outside of the US Kalinic was working with him, but that they had a friendship that went back ages. And that's where this came from. And of course, when I asked him directly, whether dot company had done any domestic messaging because that would require them to file a far. Notified, the Justice department that they were being inside the United States. He dodged the question. He said, no, I can assure you that all of our clients are outside the United States. So it seemed very clear then that he did not want to reveal the fact that he and Kalinic we're doing this kind of lobbying inside the US. Hence why he did not ultimately notify the Justice department Kalinic from where clinic is Russian. He was essentially served as plumet affords translator fixer and Ukraine, and worked together for a number of years. So Ellie, you have this Mr Colom, Nick even have POSCO two Russian nationals were involved in shady dealings. You have the attempt to get foreign money into the American inauguration inaugurated on the American president. Also from Ukraine, Russia, that whole sphere. You have FBI agents apparently tempting to flip. Russian oligarchs to try to get to Trump and Manafort. Then you have George popadopoulos. Oh, I shouldn't get jail time much jail time because all I was doing was trying to set up a meeting between Trump and Ladimir Putin at which he said Trump nodded approval. But at that same meeting was the current attorney general of the United States, all of these foreign policy doings during the campaign we're taking place under the auspices of Donald Trump's, his foreign policy advisory team, which included the current general. So how is it that Donald Trump doesn't understand why that same guy had to recuse himself because he was involved..

"We know that in part from the list of more than fifteen hundred pieces of evidence that the prosecution has now filed for the case against Manafort. Now, one of the things that's different about this next case for Manafort compared to the last one is that at least some of the evidence in this case that they're going to be citing is apparently in Russian, look at least these subject lines of all of these emails that appear in the prosecution's evidence lists are written in ceramic. There's also this is also the trial where Manafort has a co-defendant on some of the charges. His codefendant is Constantine Kalinic longtime business associate of metaphor to Russian who the special counsels offices said in open court is believed to be associated with Russian intelligence. Kalinic is also believed to be hiding in Russia right now rather than face these charges alongside Paul Manafort in addition to being listed as manafort's co defendant in the case, Kalinic also appears here we believe in the evidence list evidence. Item number eleven, ninety four k. k. we believe is the nickname for Constantine Kalinic and that's the way Manafort referred to him and his consulting business in the evidence list against Manafort for the trial. Also these couple of references. So we believe may be to a Russian oligarch who's known to be very close to Ladimir Putin and who's no do have had extensive business dealings with Manafort. His name is Oleg der Pasca. He appears at least we think this is. References to him in these emails that are described in the evidence list that prosecutors have submitted. We're going to have more on der Pasco's role in the next Manafort trial coming up in just a moment tonight. But you know this, this next Manafort trial was always going to be a difficult prospect for him..

"Do you believe that you are the law yourself no i'm not above the law i do have an absolute right to pardon myself but i'll never have to do it because i didn't do anything wrong and everybody knows it there's been no collusion there's been no obstruction it's all a made up at ac it's a witch hunt no collusion no obstruction no nothing everybody knows that was donald trump this morning once again claiming that he could pardon himself and that there is nothing to investigate regarding his presidential campaign and russia donald trump was also asked if he would pardon his former campaign chairman and his longtime personal lawyer i haven't even i haven't even thought about it i haven't even thought i haven't thought about any of it certainly is far too early to be thinking about that they haven't been convicted of anything there's nothing depart it's far too early to be it is far too early to be thinking about it today trump's former campaign chairman paul manafort was indicted for obstruction of justice for alleged witness tampering special counsel robert muller also indicted constantine kalinic a longtime business associate of paul manafort who alleged to have ties to russian intelligence these new charges are related to the charges manafort is already facing regarding his four lobbying work before he joined the trump campaign and breaking tonight the manafort legal team has just responded to these new charges in a filing which reads in part from a scant record the special counsel conjures a sinister plot to corruptly persuade two of mr manafort's former business associates to perjure themselves at the upcoming trial in september the new charges of witness tampering made by the special counsel should be seen for what it is an attempt to derail the.

"Manafort has been using this russian intelligence guy kalinic to get stuff done behind the back of the court behind the back of prosecutors at least twice since he has been charged imagine how desperate you have to be to try that when you've already been charged for what you've been charged with now kalinic will apparently no longer be his outside help kalinic himself has now been charged there do seem to be indications that he himself has fled to russia possibly to avoid being extradited to the us to face these charges him being a fugitive from us justice hiding in russia raises some more interesting questions about what comes next year and some ways it might seem futile for the special counsel to charge people who are not in this country people who are in russia when russia's definitely not going to extradite any of them to you us courtroom but you know what bringing federal criminal charges against those russians creates a weird dynamic and a weird dilemma for president trump if president trump decided to try to make this part of the russian investigation go away by pardoning paul manafort well now that manafort is charged in a joint indictment alongside russian citizen constantine kalinic this prosecution in the investigation that goes along with it could no longer be stopped simply by trump pardoning manafort to stop this of the investigation trump would also have to pardon constantine kalinic russian citizen russian intelligence operative and i know trump's willing to push the envelope but that seems unlikely.

"A week after trump gets the republican nomination manafort gets another email from kalinic talking about a long meeting you just had with their pasqua we spent about five hours talking about his story and i have several important messages from him to you he asked me to go brief you on our conversation it has to do about the future of his country meaning russia and it's quite interesting please let me know which dates and places will work even next week and i could come and see you manafort responds tuesday's best and then indeed on tuesday kalinic flies over from kipp shows up in new york and he and paul manafort have a long discussion in which kalinic later tells the washington post hin manafort discussed quote unpaid bills and current news the current news at that point was that paul manafort was running a presidential campaign in the united states and unpaid bills that they were discussing alongside that that we don't know so now that guy's been charged now constantine kalinic and paul manafort are both charged with felonies by the special counsel's office both looking at potentially decades in prison we don't know why trump's campaign chairman thought he could use the trump campaign to improve his standing with rich russians connected flat amir putin we don't know what business trump's campaign chairman was up to when he was offering private briefings on the presidential campaign to a russian oligarch close ladimir putin to whom he owed a lot of money we do know that constantine kalinic visited manafort at least twice while manafort was running the trump campaign these emails published by the atlantic suggests that one purpose of those meetings was to convey messages from that russian oligarch to paul manafort while he was running the trump campaign kalinic himself later suggested to acquaintances back home that on one of those visits to manafort during the campaign he constantine kalinic had played a role in getting the republican party to change its platform to take less hard line against russia.

"Constantine kalinic appears to have been paul manafort's right hand man both in terms of political work in ukraine but also in terms of his business dealings in that part of the world including his dealings with oleg deripaska and then kalinic turns up in these absolutely remarkable emails that were first described in the washington post they were alternately obtained and published by the atlantic magazine and these emails which we got last year they show that as soon as manafort got into the trump campaign immediately he started to scheme with constantine kalinic about how he could use his role on this presidential campaign to somehow settle his affairs maybe collect some money maybe reduces debts in the former soviet union quote on the evening of april eleventh two thousand sixteen two weeks after donald trump hired paul manafort onto his presidential campaign metaphor emailed his old lieutenant constantine kalinic who had worked for him for a decade in the ukrainian capital kiev manafort wrote quote i assume you have shown our friends my media coverage right kalinic responded a few hours later from kiev absolutely every article man but then asked in response how do we use to get whole has lovie d operation seen lovie d meaning oleg vladimirovich der pasqua has all their pasqua seen how do we use to get whole now how was paul manafort going to use his position on a american presidential campaign to get hold with some russian oligarch no idea this is an unprecedented open question in american history.

"Probably isn't going to come anytime soon to face these charges having conspired with donald trump's campaign manager can it's remarkable to me to consider that given the legal peril pal manafort is facing he's currently wearing not one but two ankle braces facing charges in two different federal districts staring at the possibility of dying in jail that he is according to the what's alleged in the indictment and the complaint document running around attempting to suborn perjury and cover up and collaborating with a possible russian intelligence agent yeah my sources tell me that that manafort's close allies have been trying to convince into stop doing this because this is not the first time that prosecutors have called him out for working with constantine kalinic since his indictment in fact they monitored some communications between manafort and columbia that try to place an oped under a ukrainian politicians name in the kiev poston english language newspaper in ukraine essentially trying to spin manafort's work on behalf of yanukovych is somehow pro european or prove as opposed to the way it's commonly perceived as pro russian and they call them out special counsel did on that and said hey this is a violation of the judge's order that you not try to try this case in the press after that which occurred last year there were people around metaphor to saying hey knock it off you don't want to be working with k k anymore he's already on the radar he's long been on the radar of us intelligence and here you are giving the.

"One of his business associates of essentially tampering with witnesses his name is constantine kalinic he is a russian national with a history of working with paul manafort overseas in ukraine and afford is awaiting trial on felony charges related to his work on behalf of pro russian interests in ukraine the president's making more news about his pardon powers with mentioned this morning about muhammad ali told reporters that he's not above law despite his insistence he has the power to pardon himself he says he has done nothing wrong there's been no collusion there's been no obstruction is all a made up fantasy it's a witch hunt presidents mention of a possible pardon for mohammed ali's nine hundred sixty seven conviction for refusing to be drafted during the vietnam war raising eyebrows it's because the conviction was overturned by the supreme court so it's not even on the books anymore pardoning people seems to be one of president trump's new favorite pastimes the presidential pardon power suits mr trump according to michigan state law professor brian called an expert in presidential pardons income mutations he doesn't have to go through congress it's largely unrevealed by courts and he just signs the document and there's an immediate effect you tell us get next there is a difference between pardons and commutations it sounds like he's considering a commutation of their sentences which is not quite the same as the pardon pardon is sort of forgiving and undoing any criminal punishment commutation leaves the conviction in place but just reduces the punishment president obama commuted the sentences of many low level drug offenders toward the end of his administration robert should knx ten seventy newsradio two fifty we're brought to you by aldaco live look at your money with adrienne mitchell mike and chris the nba finals have defied.

"This you need to and you're a trump supporter unique delay some kind of groundwork for trump to pardon manafort and and otherwise convince metaphor not to rollover because i think you have to surmise that you know manafort knows where the bodies are buried but but we'll say okay so now manafort talked to personnel we believe as constantine kalinic to then contact individuals who referred to as persons d one and d to those are former employees of manafort's organization and the allegation is that they were contacted to give materially false testimony concerning the activities of the habsburg group neither person d one nordea to had any recent contact with manafort or personnel but after the indictment was publicly disclosed manafort called person d one on person d one cellular phone person do on then sought to avoid metaphors so he hung up on him so then the next day manafort sent person d a text message on an cryptic application that's what's app stating this is paul two days later he used what's app to send person d one a news article describing the allegations concerning the habsburg group and then persons d one in d to both preserve those messages and turn them over to the government and and then the articles were sent the description of the superseding indictment was sent and then manafort used what's apt to say you know as you know we never the habsburg group never lobbied in the us that's that's false and so person d one then went to the government and this is directly from the motion told the government that he understood manafort's outreach to be an effort to suborn perjury right that is to induce him to make false testimony because person d one knew that the habsburg group worked in the united states not just in europe.

"Well at least it has to do about the future of his country and the future of ours presumably two weeks later ken vogel ran his constantine kalinic profile and politico dot com the very next day paul manafort resigned from the trump campaign but this guy kalinic keeps turning up again and again when we got the sentencing of the surprise character in the muller investigation alex vendors soninlaw of another russian oligarch alex vendors one gets convicted he will soon go to prison for lying to prosecutors one of the things he lied to them about was his contact with constantine kalinic with cost you from the gru the special counsel's office gave us more detail on kalinic in court asserting in the alexander's one case that not only is concentrating kalinic known to have had a previous affiliation with russian military intelligence but in two thousand sixteen the fbi still quote assessed him to have ties to a russian intelligence service so he still russian military intelligence in court documents the special counsel's office has also asserted that rick gates who's cooperating with muller's investigation he was aware of kalinic's collect connection to to russian military intelligence and he talked about it openly as he was referring kalinic to communicate with alexander's one right up until the presidential election and so now here's where we are this week has been turned upside down by the leak from trump trump's legal team of the questions that robert mueller reportedly wants to put to the president one of the most if not the most provocative questions in the whole list is that most team wants to ask the president what knowledge do you have of any outreach by your campaign including by paul manafort to russia about potential assistance to the campaign.
