Does the COVID-19 Vaccine Affect Fertility? Drs. Martenson and Kory Weigh In

"Guys see any evidence at all whatsoever and I want to start with you, doctor mortenson, which around a link between infertility and the vaccine or any sort of disturbing trends in that regard. Absolutely. So one of the things so I got two YouTube strikes. One was when I ran his Senate testimony. And so that got taken down. I got a YouTube strike for that. And the second one was when I pointed out that the yellow card system in the UK had shown 30,000 women had reported reproductive cycle issues, right? Their menstrual cycles were thrown off. They were having ultra heavy bleeding, clotting, cramping, all kinds of stuff. And there's 30,000 reports. And so what I noted was I went back to the Pfizer safety data which they had put out as part of their application. And I said, of all the side effects they possibly list, which is part of informed consent, they didn't even mention something that was striking so many women you couldn't have missed it. So I pointed that out and then I got a strike for that because I was medical misinformation. Now it's getting more widely known and women are writing about it. There was a big reason article that I think broke that open a little bit. But now it's whenever I post that and I say, hey, look, here's this thing. Women's reproductive cycles are messed up. By definition, that's a fertility issue. When you put that up, women just start pouring in with their personal anecdotes around this. And it's just it's a thing, right? It's huge. One of the I was listening to a talk by an expert in obstetrics and gynecology and when one of her statements always kind of stuck with me, she said that, you know, a normal menstrual cycle is literally one of the signals of health of a woman. And so when you have abnormal abnormalities in the menstrual cycles, I mean, it's indicative of a real disturbance to their health. And so I find that data alarming, the miscarriage data that's actually in one of the original trials was alarming.

The Argument All Parents Can Use When Questioned About Vaccinating Their Children

"Again, it's unity project online dot com. If you're a mom, you're a dad, you're a parent and you're concerned and you're like, what can I do about these vaccine mandates? Well, they have resources right here from scientific papers to data analysis to ethical legal and social issues, they have a toolbox, which is really great. I'm just slipping the website right now. And all about supporting science, the conversation, quick links, online petition, to downloadable letter to schools to the parent non consent form to the downloadable flyer. A lot of stuff you guys put a lot of work into this. Congratulations on that. All right. Thank you. So you are the general counsel of this effort. So parents will say, all right, I'm all on board, but then I think I have my mind changed because the argument they always use is, well, you gave your kids the measles mumps rubella vaccine, didn't you? Which is rather an insult to anyone's intelligence. Every vaccine that's currently mandated, for instance, in the state of California. And it's the same kind of throughout the nation. Has had a minimum of a decade of study. Most of them have had at least 15 years before they were mandated. And those vaccines actually eradicated the underlying viruses, like polio, like measles, like mom's rubella, which we can not say about the COVID-19 vaccine, can we? We all know that it will not prevent infection or transmission. To even call it a vaccine by that virtue is nearly a joke. In addition to that, those underlying viruses with the other vaccines had actual significant risks for the entire population, especially the pediatric population, for instance, I think there was a 30% mortality rate with measles. 10% with chickenpox. I can go on. But what's very important is the fact that those other vaccines didn't pose the severe risk that we are finding are not in fact rare. That this particular vaccine is causing in children. We are not seeing the death that we saw. In fact, there's a report from who that shows that all of the vaccines combined throughout history throughout the world. Over the last I think it's from 1968, 53 years have had a million less deaths than just this past year from the COVID-19 vaccine. That should be astounding in a scientific world where if you have 50 deaths from any particular medical treatment, that product is

The 1619 Project Tries to Pin the Slavery Tail on the Capitalist Donkey

"Because capitalism is basically a system of wage labor. Capitalism is based on the idea that the worker sells his labor labor at the highest price that you can get for it. Employers then buy that labor, they create products that are sold freely on the open market. And the chorda capitalism, the core notion is consent. Somebody wants to sell you a card in the milk. If you want to buy it at that price, you do. If you don't, you buy something else, so you leave the store. Similarly, when you go apply for a job, you say I want to be paid a $100,000 a year the employer goes yes or maybe or no, you negotiate it out. It's all based upon consent. If you don't have that consent, there's no capitalism involved. And so slavery at its core is not capitalism. Why? Because it's based on forced labor. And forced labor is the very antithesis of capitalism. Now, Nicole Hanna Jones kind of knows this and so she's thinking, how do I find a way to blame capitalism anyway? Well, one way to do it is to say that listen the cotton that is produced on the slave plantations is nevertheless sold on the world market. But that hardly proves that slavery is a form of capitalism. You could have forced labor in the Soviet labor camp and then the Soviets could then take that. Let's just take the shoes that are made by forced labor sell them on the world market that wouldn't mean that capitalism created the forced labor camps. No, not at all. So there has to be a way here for these leftists to try to how do we pin if you will to slavery tale on the capitalist donkey? And they've figured out a way to do it. It's called plantation records. And so there are and there were, in fact, detail plantation records kept by slave owners, and this has been known by the way, really for two centuries. Scholars have been studying these plantation records since the end of the Civil War. So the fact of plantation records isn't new, but what is new is the claim by the 1619 Project that the existence of these plantation records kind of a form of bookkeeping, if you will proves that, hey, this is capitalism at

A Plan to Stop the Invasion with Candidate Kari Lake

"I carry Lake will act boldly and aggressively to bring an end to our border crisis, starting on day one. And I will see this mission through to the final minute of my final hours tenure as governor of our great state. Okay, how will you address the border crisis from day one? Well, I mean, day one, we obviously have an invasion at the border. And we will issue a declaration of invasion. We're going to start with that, and then we're going to get the ball rolling and we're going to rumble with the feds on this. And we need to bring a coalition of states like minded states together, and with that coalition, we will start working out a deal to secure our border because the feds aren't doing it. And I don't know why Joe Biden's not doing it. Sometimes I think, okay, he's diabolical. He wants to see this kind of lawlessness at the border. He wants drug smuggled in. But then I realized he doesn't have a lot going on up there and maybe he's probably his team around him. His team around the team around him definitely wants a borderless society, but I agree. It's not him, but we're going to have an interstate compact for border security with like minded states. Honestly, this is an 11 page policy paper, but it's all right here in the constitution. And its article four section four, the government is supposed to be protecting us estates. I mean, you could really just sum up what's in here by reading two sentences from the constitution. The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a Republican form of government and shall protect each of them against invasion. They are not doing that. And there's a remedy in the U.S. Constitution, and it's article one section ten. No state shall without the consent of Congress keep troops, enter into any agreement or compact with another state or with a foreign power unless actually invaded, or in such imminent danger as will not admit of delay. So you're willing as governor to say, all right, we've tried to play nice. We've waited our turn. 2 million illegals have crossed into the interior of the United States. More than that. That's how many have been apprehended. Yeah, so we don't know. You could be right. It could be 5 million. I don't know. I don't think it's that much. But you're saying it's time to sign a declaration of invasion. Right. Which would

YouTube Takes Down Joe Rogan's Interview With Virologist Dr. Robert Malone

"I see this article about this interview that Joe Joe Rogan, the popular podcaster had with doctor Robert Malone. And it was a fascinating interview. I watched the whole thing. It was actually riveting. But Malone, doctor Malone does not follow the mainstream narrative about COVID. In fact, there was an article at the Atlantic. Written back in August, headlined the vaccine scientist spreading vaccine mission. Now, he is a vaccine scientist, this doctor Robert Malone, the fascinating guy, and I don't know about you. But if it's between gleaning information from a vaccine scientist or listening to, I don't know, Wolf Blitzer, I'm probably gonna go with doctor Malone. And I had a conversation with a friend of mine over the weekend that kind of blew my mind. Because it shows the power of what a smear against a guy like doctor Malone can accomplish. First of all, I want you to hear a little bit of doctor Malone. Joe Rogan, podcaster. Big conversation here is cut four. Here's a little bit of doctor Malone and what he said about him being deplatformed and taken off of Twitter and LinkedIn banning him and all these big tech giants because he dares to present a view that may not be the mainstream narrative he gets canceled. And he tells Joe Rogan, why? So my position is that people should have the freedom to choice of choice, particularly for their children. And that in order to. Appropriately choose to participate in a medical experiment, they have to be fully informed of the risks. As well as the benefits. And so I've tried really hard to make sure that people have access to the information about those risks and potential benefits. The true unfiltered academic papers and raw data, et cetera. And the policy that's being implemented is one in which no discussion of the risks are allowed, because by definition they will elicit vaccine hesitance. So it can't be discussed. But that's the fundamental background. That's the backbone of informed consent. So informed consent is not only not happening. It's being actively blocked. Now, Rogan, again, very thoughtful conversation. You might want to watch it if you have access to it. If it's not, it's been taken down off of YouTube, a lot of the big tech platforms have already taken this interview down. It had gone

Students are allowed to change their gender without providing legal documentation or a guardian consent. All they have to do is say it. For the first time students in the school district of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, as I pointed out, and it's taken years for me to realize this. Philadelphia has been ruined more than any other city. Its culture, its cultural life, its artistic life, its schools, the criminality, Philadelphia, vice with San Francisco as perhaps the worst city in the country at this time because of the left. With what they've done to one of the most renowned orchestras on the face of the earth, Philadelphia orchestra, the crap that they had them play, which I announced before COVID. Remember, they had a piece where they had a black kid reciting something with the orchestra playing and he screams curse words and yells at white, and that was a Philadelphia orchestra piece. "consent" Discussed on Nutrition Facts with Dr. Greger

"Vulnerability as she lay naked on a table unconscious, we learn that patients are tools to exploit for our education. Using female patients to teach pelvic exams without their knowledge or consent remains a dirty little secret about medical schools. It's an age old practice that continues to this day in medical schools around the world. It's been referred to as the vending machine model of pelvic exams in which students line up to take their turn, only it's not a vending machine. It's a woman's vagina. It's been called an outrageous assault upon the dignity and autonomy of the patient. The practice shows a lack of respect of these patients as persons revealing a moral insensitivity in a misuse of power. It is yet another example of the way in which physicians abuse their power and have shown themselves unwilling to police themselves in matters of ethics, especially with regard to female patients. I don't think any of us even think about it, said the director of resident and medical student education at Johns Hopkins school of medicine. It's just so standard as to how you train medical students. When this practice came to light in New Zealand, a chair of the medical association got on television and said until recently it wasn't an issue, a very sorry that women feel they've been assaulted and violated in this way. That was never our intention. He had no idea then, asked the reporter that women might object. All I can say is there's been no objections. Could the reason be? Asked the interviewer that it's very hard for an anesthetized woman to know what's going on? Many hospitals and medical schools have publicly defended the practice. Contending this touching is entirely appropriate and clearly false well within the patient's implied consent to carry out the operation. After all, patients are aware, they're entering a teaching hospital and therefore know that trainees will be actively participating in their care. Though researchers have found that many patients don't know they are in a teaching hospital or that medical students are involved in their care because of the deliberate lies and deception. A survey of medical students found that 100% of them had been introduced to patients as doctor. As they go through training, there's an erosion in medical students attitudes about telling patients they are students. As the students go through their medical training, their sense of responsibility to inform patients that they are just students is found to decrease, especially if the opportunity exists to perform an invasive procedure. That may be why medical students seem to develop this don't ask don't tell policy when it comes to seeking consent for pelvic examinations on anesthetized patients. More than a third of 1600 medical students surveyed across the country strongly disagreed with the statement, hospitals should obtain explicit permission for student involvement in public exams. After all, doctors argue, performing a pelvic exam is no more intimate than placing one's hands inside a surgical incision, sticking your fingers in a woman's vagina there's no more intimate than an ophthalmologist looking into the back of your eye and any claim to the contrary, it's just another attempt to justify the obsession with political correctness. Personally, said one medical school professor, I would prefer to see a new generation of well trained doctors rather than a nation of women whose vaginas are protected from battery by medical students. The national survey concluded patients admitted to teaching hospitals do not by the mere active admission relinquish their rights as human beings. Is it possible women just don't care? Studies show that up to 100% of women asked said they would want to know that vaginal examinations were being done by medical students. Since patients care deeply about being asked, why can't we at least ask their permission? We can't ask women, medical school, faculty, replied. If we do, they might say, no. In our final story today, we ask, will the me too movement be able to break through the white coat wall of silence? Recent reports, medical students performing pelvic exams for training purposes on anesthetized women without their consent or knowledge have produced a firestorm of controversy and calls for greater regulation. But those so called recent reports were like 20 years ago. California was the first state to make it illegal, but these early gains quickly, petered out. This practice common since the late 1800s was largely unchallenged until a 2003 study reported that 90% of medical students at four Philadelphia area medical schools performed pelvic exams on anesthetized women for educational purposes, though a subsequent study found the percentage to be less than that. The bottom line, pelvic exams on anesthetized women without consent still happening. How can this continue decade? After decade. When medical ethicists have called such practices immoral and indefensible, a practice that should come to an abrupt and immediate halt. Some schools vowed they'd end the practice, but unfortunately, these early victories quickly stalled. At the same time, some schools were revamping their policies, others were digging in and publicly defending the practice. As medical educators, the association of professors of gynecology and obstetrics wrote, we must balance a women's freedom to decide with our obligation to develop the next generation of physicians. Some especially blunt teaching faculty contend that patients without health insurance owe it to society to participate since they receive taxpayer subsidized care. Regulations to curb this practice are said to be placing inappropriate and unnecessary barriers in the way of medical students who need to learn fundamental medical skills and must therefore be resisted. And so no surprise med students still do pelvic exams on women under anesthesia. Now professional medical societies have at least given lip service to the concept of asking for explicit consent, but despite these recommendations, evidence suggests that the practice is alive and well, and the unauthorized use of women is not a localized phenomenon confined to a few bad apple medical schools, but an international problem. Even after me too, even after Larry Nassar, the infamous USA gymnastics doctor was sentenced to like a century in prison and for what touching women's genitalia without their consent. Yet there are still women who are being used as teaching subjects for these exams without their permission without their consent. A 2020 update from Yale center for bioethics was entitled a pot ignored boils on. Over the last 30 years, several parties, both inside and outside of medicine have increasingly voiced opposition yet such arguments have not compelled meaningful institutional change. Yes, there is the lip service from the medical associations recommending bans on unconsented pelvic exams. However, these statements are advisory and incomplete. They simply do not have the capacity to compel systemic change as evidenced by institutions in action. In response to the medical profession's inability to police itself 9 states have passed legislation restricting the practice. So if you live in Iowa, Illinois, Utah, Oregon, Maryland, Virginia, New York, California, or Hawaii, there are at least laws on the books to prevent this. But of course, if you're anesthetized, how would you even know if medical students are lining up or not? Patients are in the worst position to know what's occurring as they are unconscious, and can be used in ways that leave no physical signs and exams are often undocumented in their medical records. So when the media loses interest, as it has decade after decade, what incentive is there for teaching faculty or hospitals to voluntarily change? Maybe when physicians start being threatened with lawsuits, they'll start obtaining informed consent. As one commentator wrote hospital administrators who allow medical students in their facilities to perform pelvic exams on unconsenting anesthetized women, odd to consult with their legal counsel concerning the definition of rape in their jurisdiction. The solution is simple, just ask. Ask women for permission. Is their body their choice? But recent experience has shown that meaningful and complete hospital by hospital changes unlikely to come until some hospital or doctor pays a substantial award in some lawsuit for this error in ethical judgment. Hopefully that day is coming soon less that ignored pot finally boils over. Some defended as harmless and say asking for consent would make it more likely that patients would say no denying students a crucial part of their training. When I first wrote about this practice, more than 20 years ago, in my book heart failure about my time in medical school, I talked about how I had gotten the same comments from my classmates, the well then how are we going to learn response? To even present such a question, I feel as to lose a bit of one's humanity. The answer of course is we should learn with women who give their consent. And to do that, God, forbid we might actually have to first establish a relationship with a patient. A trust talk to them even. We may have to treat them like human beings. Liz Harrington, Trump Spokesperson, on Fixing Our Broken Election System

"And we're back with Liz hankton one on one. All right, you reminded me. Here's the really big question Liz. Let's talk about last November. He warned us my old boss president Trump said 80 million ballots are you crazy? That's how you steal an election and he was a clearly proven right. So what's happened in the last 11 months? We have regular guests on this show who have been fighting hard like you have. So whether it's Rudy Giuliani, Bernie Carrick, whether it's a Jenna Ellis, or my body, Bruce Epstein, but really, look, and I'm not a lawyer. I'm not a political professional like you. But my understanding, it's the states. It's the four battleground states where they stop the vote count where the president's lead was magically reversed when they started the vote count again. All states that had a GOP legislature is the fix in a good sense. Is it being fixed? What else is left to do? And is the GOP up to the jobless of stopping the Democrats next time? That's the big question. And I think some good things have happened, but not enough. And it's really kind of two part, right? And this is kind of why it's ridiculous to say, oh, just look to the future. You can't just look to the future if you don't fix what happened in 2020 because it'll happen again, it will happen on a more massive scale if there's no accountability. So one thing I really want to see. And there have been a couple Texas passed a bill. It's usually a good sign of Democrats flee your state. If they run away, they run away and hide before a vote. It means you're probably doing the right thing. That's a very good metric, please. You're right. So I'm happy about what Texas did. They really should have had an audit though because I mean, let's not kid ourselves. I mean, president Trump won that state by a huge amount. But there's cheating there too. And the real problem is they keep the goalposts to make it kind of acceptable because they're planning ahead of how they're going to cheat. So they did it in Georgia. They say, oh, this could be a toss up, you know, Democrats might have, oh, this could be trending purple. That's a very long view plan of what they're doing in getting these corrupt consent agreements in changing the rules in manipulating the voting process. That game plan is also a foot in Texas. Texas is not trending blue. It is redder than ever. But they need to make sure that the cheating, which I believe a lot of it has to do with the voter registration

WSJ Editorial Board Echoes Alexander Bickel: Roe v. Wade Was a Mistake

"Coming. I don't know what's gonna happen with roe V wade. But we've got the Supreme Court getting ready to hear arguments in a case called Dobbs versus Jackson women's health. That could lead to the overturning of roe V wade. Now, I have argued for years. Obviously, I'm pro life. So anybody who's not pro life, you're going to say, well, Gallagher, the reason you disagree with roe V wade is that you're a pro life guy. You're somebody. Listen, the bottom line is, roe is one of the worst decisions in the history of the Supreme Court. With a stroke of their pen, the Supreme Court overturned 50 state laws and turned abortion into this political war. That nonetheless could not be settled politically through the ballot box. As The Wall Street Journal points out, their editorial this week, the great legal scholar Alexander bakel wrote in the morality of consent, the Supreme Court simply invented a trimester medical analysis. The court never said why? It was a mistake. Roe V wade is a mistake.

"Dare I say Thanksgiving is a threat to the left? The ethos of it is, of course it is. Now I'm not saying that every leftist is going to boycott Thanksgiving tomorrow. I'm sure they're going to enjoy pie in Turkey. But do you think that the discussion amongst a true leftist tomorrow? It's going to be one of wonder and adoration and respect and appreciation or one about complaining, one about forming coalitions to change things. Now, trust me, I'm not saying that we don't have to fix anything in this nation. What I am saying, though, is that the awe and wonder of the citizen led checked and balanced, independent judiciary consent to the governed system that we live in. Granted from God, not by government is one that every person should be in awe and wonder of tomorrow. And of course, thankful for family, thankful for getting through the last couple of years. Every bad idea. That is currently being discussed on the international stage. Every bad idea that killed over a 100 million people was rooted in ingratitude. We Are Living in a Time of the Ruling Class vs. the Citizen

"Do you believe in a very a couple simple American promises and are you willing to do something about it such as a citizen government, consent to the governed independent judiciary, checks and balances, and it is right now what we are experiencing is a dynamic of the ruling class versus the citizen. And the citizen is supposed to be us. Citizen comes from a Greek term, which means co ruler. Now this is a very important thing. The people that run the country are a completely different group of people than who make the country run. Those are two different groups of people. The people that run the country have never been more disconnected, regardless of what political affiliation you might think it is than the people who actually make the country run. The people that make the country run are the police officers, the firefighters, the people that work in the medical clinics, the people that drive the trucks. They have never been more disconnected from the American ruling class. And the question is why? Well, the American ruling class and this is kind of an overarching term, whether it be economic, technological or scientific, has a contempt for almost every single person in this room. It has a contempt for people that are part of the muscular class. A contempt for people that do not want an overemphasis of trying to put America's America sovereignty into an internationalist type globalist style project. And the charge for us in our generation is are we going to be willing to slow down and stop the progressive lie, which is just because times change human beings change with it. And are we going to be willing to preserve things that are good and true and beautiful. In fact, preserve what Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, the laws of nature and nature's

"25 of the 26 cities and counties that receive the $1 million from Zuckerberg center for technology and civic life were one by Biden in 2020. The ten largest center for technology civic life grants in Georgia are the following Fulton Cobb gwinnett da cab. Clayton Douglas Cherokee won by Trump, Henry N muskeg. By mispronouncing of them, I'm sorry. I don't live in Georgia. The 9 out of ten of the biggest counties received massive money from Zuckerberg in fact Fulton county and Cobb county and gwinnett county received a combined $15 million. From the Zuckerberg center for technology and civic life for the actual administration of election. I know a lot of you are saying how on earth is this possibly legal, while the attorney general of Georgia didn't think to do anything about this? The Secretary of State Brad raffensperger was perfectly fine with this. Governor Brian Kemp signed a consent degree of Stacey Abrams that allowed the downfall of Georgia to occur. The federalists continues by saying the center for technology and civic life demanded the promotion of universal mail in voting through suspending election laws, extending deadlines that favored mail in over in person voting. I just want to reemphasize this. You have a private company or corporation or nonprofit funded with $420 million that comes in and demands the suspension of the law. Where the state legislatures this was in my opinion, one of the sneakiest, Treacher at most treacherous and deceitful actions but honestly, the state legislatures in Georgia, they did not meet in the summer of 2020 best of my knowledge about election integrity at all. The summer leading up to the election they should had a special session in July, they should have said hold on a second, we need to have a pregame meeting here. We gotta have a huddle. And this goes to show how weak incompetent and spineless the Republican Party is.

'We Are Now Worse Off Than Before the Experimental Shots'

"Daniel Horowitz for the blaze dot com says the data is in. And we are now worse off than before the experimental shots. Now this is a thought crime. In October of 2018, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg school of public health published a report that if one did not know better, Mike make readers think the authors were involved in gain of function research that likely created the Fauci virus. The report was titled quote technologies to address global catastrophic biological risks. Risks. It offers novel social control and mRNA vaccination ideas to deal with emerging pandemics. Whether naturally emerging or reemerging deliberately created a released or laboratory engineered and escaped, that could lead to sudden extraordinary widespread disaster beyond the collective capability of national international organizations and the private sector control. One of the many bone chilling sections in the publication Daniel Horowitz writes, provides a blueprint for quote self spreading vaccines. Describe his vaccines genetically engineered to move through populations in the same way as communicable diseases. But rather than causing disease, they confer protection. After noting that such an idea would violate the rules of informed consent and possibly spread allergic reaction, they add this shocking prediction about the challenge of such technology Daniel horwitz writes, finally, there is not an insignificant risk of the vaccine virus, reverting to a wild type virulence. As has sometimes occurred with the oral polio vaccine, which is not intended to be fully virulent or transmissible. But which has reverted to become both neuro virulent and transmissible in rare instances. This is both a medical risk and public perception risk, and the possibility of vaccine induced disease would be a major concern to the public. Daniel horwitz continues by saying, whether this vaccine actually sheds the spike protein onto other people, is still not yet proven. Although Pfizer seems to indicate it can spread through skin to skin contact rather than inhalation. But the principle of mass vaccination with a faulty vaccine making a virus both more transmissible is something that is hard to deny at this

Democrats Are Laser Focused on Their Socialist Locomotive Agenda

"There is drama and intrigue happening right now on capitol hill where the democrats are planning to spend four point seven trillion dollars quickly. You would think when a nation is going through so many separate points of crisis that this be a good time to slow down a little bit. It's kind of like a cooling off period. Find out what's really going on. What our priorities. Who's in charge. Do we really want to be spending this money. What are we spending money on. And we want to keep the country together. The democrats want nothing for that. They are more concerned to bulldoze and capture and take advantage of this moment for fundamental transformation of the american country and nation. They don't care about public approval ratings. They certainly don't care about the constitution. Separation of powers consent of the governed independent judiciary. They will not be stopped as they focus on their socialist locomotive. Agenda to run you over.

Border Crisis Sparks Calls for Change in Immigration Policy

"June twenty first two thousand nineteen jv pritzker signs measure to help protect illegal immigrants in illinois governor jv pritzker in june of two dozen nineteen signed three bills designed to protect illegal immigrants in illinois that would prohibit law enforcement agencies from coordinating with federal immigration authorities. Pritzker sign the keeping illinois families together. Act which prohibits local law enforcement from coordinating with immigration customs enforcement. Now this was two years ago. Why am i mentioning this. Because you have blue states by the way this is one of thirty examples of blue states that have been signing laws that prohibit police officers and local sheriffs in da's from coordinating with federal officials. That's an act of secession. That's an act of nullification saying we don't want any part of this. Federal compact and we as republicans and conservatives sat idly by like. Oh yeah that's bad. Let's keep going to the courts they've been ignoring the courts and ignoring the laws for years. And so then when one point eight million illegals come into the country to change the country permanently by the way what do we do. We beg joe biden for help. So what are the democrats do when things start to trend in a direction. They don't like they take action. The democrats have the willingness to reshape. Destroy the country. Republicans are getting there now. Some people emailed us and they said well. Charlie couldn't joe biden nationalize the national guard. It is very rare to do so usually only done with the consent of the governor and prayer pet presidents have rarely federalized a state or territory guard without the consent of the governor in the wake of hurricane katrina president. George w bush declined to take control of the louisiana's national guard due to the objection of governor kathleen blanco. But this is such an easy thing. First of all joe biden can't nationalize state troopers. Secondly he can't nationalize texas rangers. Thirdly the governor of texas would say i'm sorry what did you design a piece of paper. There's still our national guard. They're not gonna listen to you federalized nationalize i mean federalize. And so what should have been done. And what's still can be done. Is every single. Texas ranger national guard member state trooper that can be allocated should be deployed to the southern border with handcuffs and arrest authority and charter flights. "When you noticed how to read your partner's body language you can tell by a particular wink ahead. Non for some other thing that they agree. They're consenting that they're saying yes in some way shape or form now. If you're in a situation where you are being forced to happen forced into doing something that you don't want make it clear that you're not giving consent or get out my caveat to that is you really should make it clear that you don't give consent or that you don't wanna do something verbally. Ideally verbally would be the best thing and not just for my sake or anybody. Else's sake it's for i guess legal purposes because some states more clear about what consent is than others i. It was a coworker. Either says in their home state or some states that they were working in or this guy do enough about the law to work in the gray area just he was that type of guy but essentially he'd said something to the effect of that in some states not saying no in other words being quiet is agreeing to is acquiescing. Is saying you're okay with whatever happens to you so to be clear somewhere in the us. If you stay quiet the law sees that as you saying yes when we're time if you stay quiet if you do not say no if you do not say stop if you do not say don't before or during sex legally there's someplace in the us. Would that would see that as you saying. Yes so whatever happens to you you said yes. By not saying no so please be vocal. Be clear about what you do not want the worst thing. I could imagine for females having to go through some event that she does not consent to talk to a police officer file. Report do witter's yes to do. Get to court and then be in front of a judge and or a lawyer. That will argue well enough that you didn't say no you didn't say stop you didn't say don't and the guy has to walk off so please be clear and be vocal about what you want and what you don't want an anti saying this to make an excuse or to give anybody some gray area some wiggle room. I'm saying this. C can protect yourself. You should be able to assert yourself at the very least you should be able to assert yourself into saying no. You don't want something and if you can't say no if you can't bring yourself to be vocal enough to stop nowhere. Don't please get out especially if it's an abusive relationship or a situation that year. Not comfortable with get out of there. I know this episode might be a little darker than what i usually talk about. But there is so much out there in the king community and vanilla community that can cause harm to males and or females females. Aren't the only victims. Just feels the most common victims in the most commonly reported because of the stigma and the embarrassment of males coming forward and saying that they were raped. Her sexually abused or sexually assaulted as even if anyone takes him seriously. But any case thanks for making it this far if you found any of this helpful or insightful or even just informational but you learn something. Please go ahead and give us a like. Tell your friends about this. Maybe they'll want to hear about it. Share it with them and if you think this is stupid or you don't wanna hear stuff like this. Let me know. Hit me up on instagram. That probably the easiest way for you. Define me as on instagram. Sent me a message at cortina. Jinglin it'd probably easier if you friend me or follow me and then message me at least in. I'll get the notification that i have new follower and i'll be able to see your messages because if we're not following each other and you send me a message it ends up in my requests and i can't go get a notification and it doesn't say me anyways but if it's something that's important enough that you can't wait to for me to see the requests except reply you can shoot me a text at area code two one zero six to seven one one three three your messaging me from the podcast and for whatever reason like whatever you want a message for just gimme a heads up that it's from the podcast because if you don't say where you're from spending like twenty minutes like okay. How do i know you. Are you message me so just let me know. It's from the podcast in whatever you want to talk about. But don't call. Because i rarely answer the phone unless i have your number save and even if i do have your number save you gotta be one of about six or seven people that i'll answer the phone otherwise you're going to go to mail in case thanks for making it this far i appreciate it. "We were speaking online or over text she had agreed to be a sub of mine or to try out king. Khor i forget because it's been a decade. But we met for the purpose of her getting her spankings. So i'd stripped down to district. Pennies bound her hands together and had them over her head gave her her spankings and kind of the mouth and explained okay. These three are for x. This one is for why these two z and so on until she got spankings beforehand. She had said something to the effect of. She don't want to have sex or she wasn't ready to have sex just yet though. She'd said she wanted to forget if it was before she came over. Washy was there but she didn't want to have sex that time for that instance so we didn't just spankings over time. The relationship that we had Became went from sub two pets. I'd see her about once a year until she'd gotten a boyfriend and i kind of forgotten about her then when i reached out to her again about a year later she got a girlfriend and they were living together so for about three years. There was a period where we keep missing each other where i was seeing someone. She was seeing some water. Usually she was seriously dating someone. So i can afford it or just put out of my mind once. I moved to san antonio my girlfriend or later my wife. But it's time she was my girlfriend. My girlfriend and i had already established a hall pass. Essentially either one of us is out of town. We both had the freedom to play with anyone so long as it was strictly sexual. It wasn't something that we were trying to build into a separate relationship. My wife went out of town for something. Something work related every would've was for. I decided you know what houston go. Visit my family. And while i'm there i could go swing by and visit my my pet so i spent the night with my pet. That's probably the second or third time we'd had sex together before it was always just oral and playing together and having scenes in forget if it was that time or maybe one or two other times later that she had confided in me that she'd wished her hoped that i had had sex with her the first time she came over when she had said verbally she ended up. She did not want to have sex after more conversation. She admitted that she had a cnc fantasy but she didn't want to act it out because she had some issues around for those not in the know. Cnc means consensual consent. Basically a rape fantasy with someone you trust and it is surprisingly common with kingston's release female king stirs that they have a rape fantasy or a cnc play desire so keep that in the back of my mind a few years ago after my wife had passed went back to houston visit with her went out to eat and one of the things i like to do with her or with anyone particular while we're driving especially if she's in a skirt which she which she was that night i would have tell me a story whether it was something that had happened recently or something at work but she added. Tell me story coherently. While i played with my fingers essentially i was purposely distracting her from her narrative. Whatever she was saying if she ever paused or moaned or or spent too long focusing on the physical aspect. Of whatever i was doing then i would stop or pincher lip pincher nipple or do something to cause a little pain to distract from enjoying what i was doing. And for her to go back to telling the story a was a type of orgasm. Denial so i kept this up until we got back to her place which is probably ten or fifteen minutes away come back to her place started stripping her down and we had sex for most of the night from affluent at ten stopped to eat there. We go back to replace at ten and we were done about two or three in the morning. Slept got up had sex then. We wanted to go out to eat. Go to breakfast. And because i hadn't been in houston and wanted to go to particular spot for breakfast. It's pretty good. It's in a more affluent part of town but there was something going on. I forget what was were street's blocked. I don't know if it was like a cycling ding or marathon street blocked off so we had a circle around to get to the breakfast pot. Sit down have breakfast. The conversation was just as normal. Whatever we were speaking of adults and asking she was asking situation as situation. Be you know if i did this. What would you do if i did that. So making brad scenarios so to speak. Some of them went to seriously but most of them. Just jokingly oh i just give you seven spankings in bind you for whatever or give you an orgasm. Denial or whatever. It was just kind of like confession. The way priests released the fathers priests that i encountered would just give you three hail. Marys and in five all fathers and just random prayers that you had to do for penance to be absolved sins. You confessed so kind of that type of fashion so that was my mindset. That was my my frame of mind. When i was answering these questions and then she said something about you know what i listened to her if she said no or something regarding consent and offhandedly say no. Why would i listen to whatever you have to say. Now mind you. When we first played her first met she said she didn't want to have sex sir respected that i didn't push for there. Were other times where she would make some type of request or demand you know just oral or we just have sex no oral or or whatever but then. She was in the mood for x. Y. or z. And as i've said before that boundaries and consent are important to whatever she said. I took like a baseline okay. This is what we're not doing so when offhandedly said no. I wouldn't listen to you whatever you said about consent. I assume that she would realize that. I was being facetious. Because i have established pattern of listening or following or being her boundaries regarding consent regarding any sexual act that we did and was back at her. Because i wasn't really paying attention. I was people watching. I was looking around scanning the diner area as i was eating or had finished. She had his look of anger on her. Face is the best way to describe it. It was like anger and disgust the same time. She just said i'm done. And she put down her fork and with done with food eating and on the way home on the way back to her place she had stated that She had a bad experience. You had some friends or males that were supposedly. Your friends. didn't listen to consent and she didn't go into much more detail. But the what i inferred is that either the director or they forced her to do something she didn't want to do which is still rape like. I said she didn't go into detail and told her. Look we've spent bast eight or nine years. Or i think that's probably been probably the last six or seven years back and forth playing from time to time and every time i've always listened to your boundaries. You're a rules for consent. So i would think that my history has established a pattern of how i respect. Your consent is respect your boundaries nozoe things versus what i said flippantly about not listening to your consent. She stayed quiet. Went back to her place but she didn't wanna do anything which is fine so prerogative. It's her body after about half an hour there. She said that she didn't want me around. She couldn't deal with me and she just wanted to leave so fine i left but again. The point of this is consent is important. You never know what someone's going through. I hadn't paid attention. Or like. I said i was flippant about not pay attention. Tear concentre not listening to concentre however she worded it but essentially i said no. I wouldn't follow your consent. The point being or my intent was being facetious that she would be able to see through it and understand or realize. Yeah no i've listened to you. I've followed your her lead. Whenever she says no shakes her head that she doesn't want to do something for number she can't speak and i didn't take into account what she may be going through and that's on me. I've said time and time again consent is always important each time you're going to do something. You should have consent. Ideally something verbal as you wanna have sex. But in some instances in some cases.

"Gave chino as i'm that. Welcome to another episode of sociopaths. Are my favorite today. I'm gonna talk about consent. I'm gonna go a little bit more to my background and talk about stuff like my pets. Slave subs playmates. Essentially things that have had now in the past. I usually categorize subs or females that. I play with into different categories. At least the ones that are open to kink into the community is normally the classification breaks down into pets subs slaves toys and fuck dolls. Might have another category or two. I'm not thinking of that. I've used in the past. And i just haven't used and they're probably a one or two more categories. I can't recall at the moment. But the pets are essentially subs or females. I play with that take on animalistic traits characters in that either like to be treated as a kitten cat like dog galaxy. Just those two pets then. I have just plain subs that are just missive slaves. That are just too much work to handle and deal with in the true sense of being a slave that you tell them exactly what you want them to do at all times. Stand in a corner on one leg. Imagine if you can recall coming to america the original eddie murphy's betrothed or the wife that was selected for him and you know he told her work on the dog's tail like one leg but taking out the answering with whatever you wish is just whatever you tell that person to do they're going to do it you can have them is just a lot of work it can be down to your can only go to the restroom from seven. Am to seven zero five and twelve fifteen twelve seventeen like ain't give us precise times to do x y or z and they will perform those tasks as expected toys and fuck dolls kind of fall similar categories in that fuck dolls just want to be used for sacks anyway you wanted to whatever you wanna do with them they'll just lay there or do whatever they're instructed to do just essentially like one of those real dolls but they can move around on their own to position themselves whichever way you want them to and a toy the way i categorize them similar to affect all but he can use of anywhere in public there also have more of a submissive nature to them. So they'll do things sexual and non sexual anywhere you tell them to or you. Pass them around for you. Know other people's pleasure just depending on the situation and the boundaries and agreements we've had beforehand but one of my pets. I met through roller derby. So one of the teams. I was arrested for re four or not so much referee for them. Just that i would go to their games and be aref. My home team no longer exists but at the time it was active and played against this team. Whenever i wasn't needed to referee games from my own team i go and volunteer and referee different teams especially around. Houston so the one team. They would have scrimmages once a week. So i'd go there. There'd be essentially a mini game and it would be a learning situation for the players because they would learn how to block or player do particular moves and their coach like okay. This is what you did wrong. This is that some teams it. Just play scrimmage and leave it alone other times every other jam or game play. They would stop and explain okay. This is what you did wrong. Which can you better. So at one of these scrimmages. There was a female there. She was a an official. As i said before when i got into derby. It wasn't to hook up with skaters. It was to just have something fun to do. And keep me busy in out of trouble. And if i was to hook up with with someone that would usually be an official because me hooking up with an official was less of a conflict of interest than me dating hooking up with the skater. Not that i was going around looking for officials to hook up with. Just that officials were the females. I were open to hooking up with her dating so saw this one particular female young. It's heat Not particularly my taste or style. But she had a mischievous or about or something about her just kind of told me that she was mischievous and essentially just a brat at least in sub space turns out that she was underage or she was seventeen. At the time i forget how close to eighteen. She was but she was not eighteen somehow. Her mother newer figured out or notice that i was interested curious in her. But i wasn't going to go around and asking. Hey how does that girl. There held as at female because in roller derby. It's generally assumed that everyone there is over eighteen. Unless it's you know some child that skater or can't drop off with the babysitter or whatever so they bring them to derby and they play on the sidelines or the non skating area. So because i saw this email being an official. I just assumed that she was vague. But i still didn't approach or do anything. I just kind of around about her. And i guess somehow it got back to the girl's mother that i'd asked her out. I was curious and she was. The mother was as far as Importance board member of the team to said she did something and there was a reason for her to have my phone number phone number of a of a referee to be able to call in now. No actually she message me on messenger originally and then. We exchanged phone numbers and essentially. The mom was kind of pimping out her daughter to me. Not monetarily just set the daughter swamp back. The daughter had graduated high school at fifteen god and her associates by seventeen and was already working on her masters. When are sorry on her bachelor's when i met her so the mother was okay with her dating older guys think her boyfriend at the time was twenty three twenty five like early to mid twenties and when i found out her realize that she had a boyfriend kind of backed off and ignored it but the mother was adam gonna know they're going to break up she doesn't like she he's a dork he's an asshole or whatever essentially telling me that she was okay with me dating her daughter hooking up with her daughter freely the extent but there was a lot of back and forth between the mother and i as to what the daughters in to what the daughter is like what may or may not work with her daughter and it was just kind of odd to get that information from mother like this seem more like a wing man van a mother to me and i kept putting it off later i found out that she was finally eighteen and i decided to you know cages texture and message and see what's going on her eighteenth birthday was coming up when i started messaging her. We didn't actually meet or do anything until after she was eighteen. Just for my own personal safety. My own personal peace of mind. I waited until she was eighteen before we met up and when she finally came over dick's use was to for her to receive her punishment because in the time that.

"It and when you do those feelings of shame and putting yourself. i think. We'll start to dissipate. Because i've worked in sports departments in newspapers. And i know that that that sort of upper crust of misogyny is really sort of the crust that's over a molten core of masculine doubt and insecurity. The reason that men bully women especially in the workplace. It's because men still have not accommodate to the idea that women can be their equals. Yeah i think is really important that you think about this notion of writing a new narrative for yourself haunted and i would say in two ways one is s. steve says. Stop telling the false story about your experience at this workplace. You have a right to tell people what's true about your experiences in your life. And what's true is this was a workplace that was incredibly hostile to you and i think that it's really going to be deeply deeply liberating for you to allow yourself that story right. The other story is of course the one in which you kind of blame yourself for being sexually harassed and as we've discussed on the previous two episodes. I hope that you've listened to them. Haunted because i think so much of what we've talked about and the two episodes that precede this one is really about this. This very murky territory of consent. We're bad things happen to us. I've told a range of stories. Now i mean it's kinda sad right like i look back actually in just the stories that i've told over the course of these three episodes of the various things that have happened to me. And i'll tell you. I have like a few dozen more stories right. So these are just for many women Really our lives are threatened with this kind of these interactions. That are not really consensual. That we don't speak up against and so then we take part of that Blame or responsibility. This question that you're haunted by is one that haunts me that haunts so many people who have written to us and so many people who are listening and that is. Why didn't i do something sooner. Why did i let that happen. And i'll tell you why because everything you've been taught from day one and this culture for generations before you. Is that your voice is not powerful. You do not have the right to be the agent of your own body. You do not have the right to say you can't talk to me that way. You can't touch me that way. You can't treat me that way this. This isn't a character flaw. This is a cultural A very intentional dynamic that is created by a patriarchal culture and so i really strongly encourage you to work very deeply and hard on letting go of that. That blame that you're holding about what happened to you on the job last year and placing it where it belongs with the people who perpetrated nonconsensual touch and conversation with you in the workplace. Want to say what we need to try to learn. Along with the language of consent is to reward people for telling the true story rather than allowing them to punish themselves for telling the false story. And we don't just allow them to punish themselves. We often punish them to. How dare you speak up. How dare you try to change. The work call right. And how did you dress and so forth haunted right now. What you're feeling is the belief that you will be punished if you tell the true story and sadly enough and we'll talk about this with our guest. The reality is in many workplaces that you are lead in for trouble. If you tell the true story about nonconsensual attention from a co-worker we have to as a culture. And i think metoo is trying to say. We can't do it individually. we have to join together. All the people who are who have been in the workplace or in a private space and have had nonconsensual conduct inflicted upon them sexual attention and behavior half to.

But what we've tried to do is You know really get a safe from everybody. That skateboards like you know. What does your community wanna say. community wants to be an ambassador and get photographed with pre consent education signs. And you know breaking the gender binary a movie net from just men and women to like looking at. It's like you know there are many gender so you know sexual violence choosy it. So there's something that we all need to concentrate on and do the work and different populations don't always get that voice. And so i guess. Another challenge is china. Yeah you know where other make the spaces for that. Just making it up as we go along which is skateboarding. You're listening to women on the line. And this is a conversation with dr indigo willing and emily cafa about skateboarding. Consent an anti-racism global.

"consent" Discussed on Identity at the Center

"I think that probably we're probably around the same age and kind of grew up in that timeframe where you had movies like top gun and rocky three iraqi four where you know I've drago the bad guy and It's it's interesting that you've kind of morphed into the world of privacy. You mentioned there was not much privacy expectation in russia I don't know i was at a conference. Maybe five or six years ago is a four jock conference san one of their board members was the former. Ceo of some biker system scott mcnealy he made the statement have zero privacy. Get over it. You know kind of like the folks that are deciding what to do with your data are the big or not even just big tax but just the technical world or the the computer world. Your your data is now in. This system is being pushed around. One thing that i find extremely frustrating is when i pass news a website so it has to do online banking after do I have to an out with my electric utility or something like that. They say this is our privacy policy. Do you accept or not. Accept if i do not accept that cannot use their website. Now how is that fair. How does that really give me an option. So i'm actually going to the question of very simple level but feel free to freestyle. You know what is privacy and consent because to me that's not consent right. I'm not really consenting to give my information or not really agree to their privacy policy being forced to. that's not freedom. You're absolutely right jim. When we talk about consent we have to really keep in mind that the privacy laws are designed for individuals and for those individuals to really gain better control and transparency over collection use of the personal data by companies south. This means that the in most cases individuals must have a choice to be able to prevent the collection usage without impacting the service so consent simply a mechanism on high capture that but there's two Distinct consent types so the first one is affirmative consent. What we call the option right. That's where you actually have to opt in in order for them to collect. The data in the second type is Implicit consent. it's implied. So if you accept that privacy notice it's implied that you've consented now with the general data protection regulation in europe. That implicit consent is not legal. Does not exist. So i think that's where one of the significant differences where some of the privacy laws in the world are not requiring that on explicit consent and the jeep yard does so we're starting to see companies that are global companies. Go through this transformation efforts to really obtained consent in all by the way they can't just accept blanket consent if they're going to share data with third parties. They have to obtain specific consent if they're going to on music for marketing purposes. They have to obtain specific consent. So every purpose requires for you to consent Opt-in and then also allow you the rights to then opt out and drier consent which means they have to go back and delete that information Up on you executing that rate so he absolutely right jim. I think we're going to see this practice of ball as us. Regulations as california consumer privacy..

"A good reputation. I don't know. I mean i mean people get emotional. People develop feelings people feel slighted. It's just this is the reality of the world. And you're playing with an area where i just think you wanna reserve judgment because right and that's why you take it to group leadership if you hear about those things because then they can tell you about whether or not that seems out of character or something like that. That doesn't seem like them. Like like some of the leaders have played with this person and they say let's try to dig deeper on that and again i'll say this for the eighteen. This is not blaming the victim or saying the victims. Shouldn't when something wrong has happened to. You shouldn't have a say the platform you you should. It's just you know it's it's it's tough because you see especially now it's like so many people and it's one of the best things to happen to our society is that so many people especially women have a voice now against wrongs that have been done to them And they have a voice now that that they never had before. And it's an amazingly awesome thing. I mean we're getting rid of some fucked up people in this world because women have a voice in our able to speak out. That's such a like. I mean that's such a good thing but it doesn't mean that every single person speaks out. We have people human and people will take advantage of the fact on. It feels very real sometime. You know like sometimes you just didn't see it the way that it happened because you were so close to it and talking to a fellow person might help you to see it a different way to so. Don't i mean unless you've really checked it. Don't turn feather somebody as the gut reaction gases reaction here. I hope made that clear on that one. It's such a dangerous area to talk about. But the nice thing about a long form podcast. We don't have a soundbite where we can get misquoted. If you think something we didn't feel good listen to at least the last entire ten minutes we save twenty times. You have voice. We want you to speak out we you. You are not allowed to have your consent violated. That's period so i think it's What about cnc. Okay so now. Let's talk about one of the categories of sex play which is consensual non consent. Yeah that seems to contradict but cnc is not a really obscure niche category of play. Right it is a very common area play. So what is consensual non consent and we call. Cnc we talked about it kind of alluded to that. Even couples play with rape fantasies. But that can also play out in blackmail and black seas or of all play where you're like mills a good one. You could even make the argument that if you're doing a role play with prostitution fantasy where the prostitute is desperate for money. I mean legally. She consented because she's an adult. Who said yes but consent really wasn't really given. I guess that's not true. It was freely given but it still has elements of that to it. If you're manipulating her right But consensual non consent means the other person is aroused by this aroused by the fact that they have been manipulated or their aroused by the fact that they were taken against their will. That's a common thing again. I know we looted to it earlier. But we didn't talk about it as a category. That's the category. And i think the the fries model of consent can be negotiated into all of that as well like because you're playing with that thing with consent as the the stimulus i guess for lack of a better word. He still have the ability. And the you know just because you're giving consent to go further does not mean that you can't revoke it. You can't do it under mike manipulation or coercion. Like if i wanted you to play out a fantasy with me in you. Don't wanna do it. You're not enthusiastic about it. Don't do it like the story. You just told about the the lady that you might like this. There's waste to play with those things but you have to specifically negotiate for it and that goes back to being specific Negotiation a lot but negotiation is kind of the key to all this. I mean it really is. It's your clarifying ahead of time. These things and at that point everything ago as long as you stay within what you agree to. But the bottom always has to trump card to stop at anyways That's really what it comes down to and to make those plans before anything before you're in the heat of the moment before the clothes come come off before you're in a compromised situation talk about it before that. I've even met people in public places to do negotiations. Because i'm not gonna go to somebody's house in talk about it. I you know. Because i'm already in their space so by i've another nonconsensual story. All again this is. I do not believe any legal consent was violated here. But i watched something. That did not feel consensual. That didn't make me feel good at all. i've told you the story of the first time i ever went to a convention to the Time so i went to an open place space. And if you haven't had a chance to go to something like this is really fun so much fun. Because it's it's It was a thunder in the rockies because a big one. It's it's like three days and all day long there's classes and seminars and there's people selling their wares. A lot of it is educational even had a comedy show from ouchi the clown which is the best clown name ever who did Yell like cloud of masochistic clown called ouchi clown right. Everything about this was was just fun and your networking in you're hanging out and you're you're sitting at the hotel lobby joining people for meals and socializing okay so that's normal convention except we didn't have any last year because yes but.

"Like what are you wouldn't if that happens. I check it with mentors. If you have mentors or get on a group with other people on your side of the slash and check with i mean consent can be violated from the bottom to so if top feels like the consent was violated because the bottom didn't disclose something like that's that's legit so check it with your peers. Yeah i would say. And this is not discouraging. Somebody let's be very clear about this. I am not trying to silence. Who's had their consent. Filing my suggestion is new to the community. And you think that may have happened before you out somebody in harm someone else because there may be misunderstanding if it turns out there was no misunderstandings. I'm not telling you to keep your mouth. Don't do not misunderstand this Because people who have had consent violated have been marginalized throughout history. That is not what i'm saying. But if you're new and you went through negotiation but you didn't understand what at what point you were supposed to speak up or what that question meant or what they meant when they said this toy and there was a miscommunication. You may feel something that was. That was a misunderstanding. That's possible oh and you should definitely bring that up so posting check in opposing free up to the person you're talking talk to your partner first because the very first thing if they if there was something. That was misunderstood. They're not gonna have a problem with you. Bring it up the first you're gonna wanna do is go. Whoa we need to. Let's let's iron this out. This is not how i saw it. Let's talk this out. Let's bring in a moderator. Lets you know and and you can speak to. People privately within the community cannot tell you to be solid. Speak to someone. if you're dungeon in something didn't feel right. There are moderators. Danja monitors monitors group leader us And you can talk to them again. Somebody who has a good reputation in the community does not mean that they are not capable of doing wrong things quickly in my experience. They don't yeah the the communications or their mistakes because we're human issue in that is but if you feel like they're gas you and they're saying that you're not seeing that right at all that didn't happen. I don't do that you know. Then you've got problems and you need to take it up when you take it up to the next step what i will tell you is. You're not going to be dismissed within the community. You're knocking be. Oh they have a good reputation and your your voice doesn't count all right. You're you're going to be heard responsible. Community is self regulating itself regulate. And they don't they need to make sure that this So yeah don't be silent by any stretch but it means don't go. I don't think you if you're confused. Don't posting a aboard publicly. Because there's like i am not god i just. I ate even cities words. Because it's like it's so dangerous when people think you might be with not siding with the victim mind right but do you feel like i'm being clear about this. It's like the most reasonable have a conversation having a private conversation. And if you feel if you still feel like this isn't where you wanted. I support you going public. Yeah but but follow a process to get there a process where we are open minded to misunderstanding. It a world. That is fucking weird in different. If you're from outside this world is there are things that are just different and we wanna make sure that that those are those are communicated right and when someone has when someone has this happened in their viewed as a consent by waiter. I'm going to take one more side on the non victims side for just one split second. Please don't get mad at me again. I tread very lightly about this. But if somebody has a good reputation and i hear one thing. I will reserve judgment because jumping to a conclusion. I'm so sorry to say this. But as many times as as victims have been marginalized and not believed there are also people who say things that aren't true there are people that seek out revenge. there are people who have their feelings hurt. They've been wronged and they're going to take it out on the person that also exists and i do not think it's fair to automatically form judgment on either side if if you weren't there all you know is one person accused of something. One person has been accused. You don't know anything yet. It's an observer which of these things have happened right now if it happens again from somebody else if it happens again from somebody else you see a pattern of behavior i think you can start to dig deeper and you start to the brain and european start to get form because you're weighing the evidence of that but one person or two people for.

"Or maybe the what we're what like there's so many other reasons for why doesn't want to give you that touch in that moment. And so if you can remember that a it gives you information to em do that collaboration or compromise or figure out what would work and be it also helps you take it not personally, right? We think about there's a lot of like, oh, I'm not a hugger and it's like, oh well maybe and for for children with autism spectrum are like a sensory processing issues that might be true. But for many of us, it's just we're not a hugger with strangers. We're not when we're in a bad mood or we're not you know, and so if you break it down you can really be like, oh this has nothing to do with me. I'm fine. You know, this is this person doesn't like me, you know doesn't like PDF hair doesn't like so so brilliant because you know who doesn't remember this from high school English, right and Jen's r Jen is a writer. So I'm sure you do this every day when where how you know the whole thing and and for our boys to be able to look at a situation without as much of the emotional Nuance. Yeah can be really really helpful to just like have the bullet points Yahoo. When where how I mean? I'm so so good to just be able to Define it in that way. I'm also for saying though, right? No, no cuz I'm in a bad mood but maybe later. Oh, that's so much easier than saying just a flat-out now found that will eventually help them understand themselves better because you know, so often you said we even made generalize about ourselves. I'm not a hugger, but when you when you drill down when you think about it, okay, well, I love hugging my husband. I don't love hugging somebody that I just met at a conference somebody. I just met at a conference such a 2019 2018 thing time. Say yeah. Yeah at conferences. What is that? You know, no, sorry. This has been an incredible conversation real eye-opening and I just think that the work you're doing and the way you've come to this work is so natural and it takes the it like takes them like, oh my God, it's a sexual conversation and we get all embarrassed and awkward in our boys, you know storm out of the room cuz they don't want to hear it. It just normalizes off of it so much and helps strengthen our everyday interactions with every other person we come into contact in a consensual way. So where do people find you? Many people find me I am very active on Instagram constantly giving tips tricks ideas reflection questions. That's at comprehensive consent. Okay, and I can also be found at comprehensive consent. I currently have a boundary setting boot camp be going on for parents of kids ages six to twelve and that's where I break down 12 consent skills where there's games and activities and mindfulness and discuss any questions all to talk about consent. I don't talk about sex at all. It's for parents to to learn it with their children. Yeah. So those are the three places to find me. I'm going home links to these in the show notes parents of kids 6 to 12. I strongly recommend you checking out that boundary setting bootcamp. We did not learn a lot of this growing up. So take advantage. Of these resources take advantage of this expertise and you can set your child up for you know success and and not experiencing at least some of the pain that you did there will be pain there will be mistakes. But the more we can Empower our children the better the world is going to be thank you. Sorry. I thank you so much for being here you so much. I enjoyed our conversation. "For a culture that pretends that anything short of uninhibited sexuality is prudish fashioned. We sure do have a lot of rules Colson Center. I'm John Stonestreet this As breakpoint Chuck Colson used to say that to judge the truth a worldview. Just got to follow it to its logical conclusion and is apple. TV's the morning show is accurately depicting. Confusion is the logical conclusion of the secular demands for sexual freedom. The morning show is about a shakeup a fictitious this morning newscast after its male anchor is fired for sexual misconduct. Now if you hear faint. Echoes of Matt Lauer and Fox News Yes. This show is an example Bowl of art imitating life given the all-star lineup of actors. It's not surprising. Just how well acted the show is what is surprising is how relatively nuanced onced. It is especially for me to show coming out of Hollywood right now. The morning shows lead anchor. Played by Steve. Corral is unambiguously wrong but he might not ought to be the only one the show like the culture. It's vividly portraying raises more questions than it has answers to Boston. A subordinate engage in any appropriate. It romantic relationship is flirting. Always wrong does a workplace culture with Lewd Jokes and accepted. Promiscuity bear any responsibility for victims. If a man cannot it uses power to advance their career can a woman use her body and so- lines are drawn and then redrawn all over the place and it's also deeply confusing. Our our best attempt at a way forward is a new elevated notion of consent. But what exactly is consent. How is consent? Given what would've consent is given but later regretted now. I realize how delicate all of this is and I'm grateful to have worked in places that have not yet had to deal with anything like workplace sexual harassment or sexism. I'm even more grateful as a husband that my wife communicates so well with me and worked so hard to understand me. The Problem Lem is is that culture wide. We can't really seem to decide. What consent is planned? Parenthood which I might add has a vested interest in promoting promiscuity says consent is is actively agreeing to be sexual with someone but what does it mean to be sexual. How does one actively agree? The Rape Abuse and Incest National Network Says S. consent quote doesn't always have to be verbal. But what isn't it Dartmouth College in its student policy. Handbook says consent is clear voluntary voluntary and unambiguous agreement. When you get the picture at the root of all of the confusion is the premise? That sex is inherently unhooked from marriage. Our our culture wants so-called sexual freedom while also demanding that everyone play by some set of rules that we can't nail down and we refuse to ground in anything substantial. How do we expect everyone to live by same standard like consent while rebuffing the very notion of having standards in the first place the fact is only marriage is substantial enough to ground any sexual standards that will be able to bring about health and wholeness sex's like fire marriage is like a fireplace when the fire stays in the fireplace? It brings light and heat in ambiance. Maybe it even preserves life but when the fire jumps out of the fireplace onto the curtains it it instead brings death and destruction. Sex long ago in our culture jumped out of the safety of the marriage fireplace. And now we're trying to contain it again but a fuzzy notion like consent sent will be a bad as effective of fireplace has a cardboard box. We're trying to have it both ways. It's not working. It cannot work. We can't pretend to be liberated from limits and then erupt in self righteousness when someone crosses a line but there's also good news here. Our collective reactions are revealing feeling that there is a law written on our hearts and then it's not some arbitrary standard. God didn't design sex to be between one man and one woman because he's mean he did it to protect men especially women it protects us because it's how he made us healthy marriages offer a wider life-giving life-giving context for consent the upfront commitment to another's best the joining of families the constant mutual giving of self to another in a union God both recognizes and celebrates that context has no substitute not cohabitation not in bosses using power over subordinates. Certainly not in hookups. Even if consent is quote unambiguously given reducing sexual ethics to something downstream is consent. Leaves it all alone on on an island. Without.

"To be here. So Pete. We'll start off with you. What has been the impact of GDP our a marketing when you take away the ability to gather as much personal information that we're accustomed to seeing? Yeah so there are many the impacts from legislation which is about. I guess about a year and a half old for for some companies Especially companies not based in Europe or with very little European operation. Some companies just chose not to to operate in Europe Rather than build all of compliant mechanisms that were necessary Certainly for marketers residing in Europe and for for marketers or doing a lot of business in Europe They have really had to change their their marketing strategy. Pretty considerably and for people who had a lot of inventory that had consent from their audience to then be marketed to that the value L. U. of that that inventory in that audience became greater and certainly for for some for some publishers or other Advertising services that that lack of consensus became a very big challenge. And then broadly just one other big impacted thinking is also for a lot the companies operating in multiple countries within the EU actually centralize a lot more of their marketing operation than they might. I have had done previously simply because the these legislations privacy regulation are for the entire European Union it did force a a lot of marketing organization to really think about their European marketing operations much more holistically than they might have done prior from a practical standpoint. If you have to collect permission every time somebody clicks on a website or an and now you see those ubiquitous notices talking about cookies. That's that's A. That's a logistical hurdle. That people aren't accustomed to but how does that impact things. Well I think there are a number of impact. I mean just from a user experience variance perspective. You know how your how much real estate you have to promote your content for instance or your product for instance relative to that consent sent a label and things like that that is a consideration but it's also I think it's caused a lot of people to really pull back on on their on their data targeting strategy general in in Europe and focus on other means So in some cases that can be very good for parts of the ecosystem actual purchases. You know con- contextual targeting grew and important than value whereas audience targeting thing Degree and I'd love to jump in just for a second address a couple. There's really please do day points from we have it. You mentioned a couple of instances of businesses going dark in Europe publishers and other companies. Just not being able to afford the cost of of compliance. That's not indicative other good privacy policy. "Rained gray and you could get even more of all this awesomeness coming to you from a strange exotic location every week all right. We're well traveled traveled true. Are we've done podcasts in Transylvania Egypt Germany exploding Zeppelin an exploding Zeppelin. Yes we are all over the place. It's hard work being this fabulous that someone has to do it yeah so join us every week for dirty talk after hours you ready to touch on the topic of consent. I know consent. Is something that you talk. Talk a lot about in your classes especially when it comes to see negotiation yes I do. It's definitely a topic that is on the forefront of news right now with me too movement happening people are discussing discussing some sometimes challenging complex stuff for the first time in human history in this stuff is complex but it is also a really important and crucial conversation to be having and that is the conversation we're having now. It's not an easy one because of how tricky consensus I've certainly violated consent not intentionally not something that I plan to do in a malicious way but I will get feedback after the fact my consents been violated consent to something that it's it's really important to have that conversation early and if you think about it children their rights for consent or taken away think about how deeply ingrained it it is in our culture. Go sit on grams lap. Give GRANDPA hug. Come here and take a tickle. We're not teaching children. They have the right to consent what happens to their own bodies. Were kidding what they can and cannot do and if they argue then we are are make them hug it out. Go Give Your Antioch Kiss End Horrible. I remember as a child being forced to do that in hating it and finding it really unpleasant body. Autonomy is something that even a small child should have when you're taking that away enforcing the child too soon student someone's lap and take a kiss and a hug when it's not something they want. That's not sitting the foundation for healthy consent relationships in the future one of the things I have been reading a lot about when people are describing their consent violations is that our society does train people to consider other people's feelings I that their feelings are secondary and that you have to please the other person so even though you're doing something that you don't necessarily agree with and don't say no two at the time I joined because you were trying to deal with the unpleasant situation of hurting somebody else's feelings. You don't WanNa be rude. You don't want to cause a fuss. Just Grit your teeth and get through it. It'll be fine. What's prioritized is making sure other? The people don't feel uncomfortable. I think that's what we are training the children to do when we force them into those uncomfortable situations where they don't really have a choice as to whether they want to interact with to them are almost strangers because they only see these people around the holidays I remember as a child not at all being enthusiastic about having to interact with someone that was in essentially a relative stranger but it didn't matter you had to go sit on their lap yet to give them a hug. You had to give him a kiss on the cheek because that that was what was considered polite and as a kid you have no choice and that choice should not be taken away from anyone even children no definitely not in your professional opinion. How would you go about establishing consent in a scene communication? What is tricky and not sexy and not fun to do is the communication we have the fantasy that it's going to be effortless and fluid and people are going read each other's mind? You don't have to do that weird awkward unpacking of talking that's the fantasy that we want but when we buy pass negotiation when we bypass communication and try and dive straight into sexy times and that's where you're setting yourself up to fail one of the first things that I stopped doing and this is something that just works for me personally. I no longer do same day pickup play I used to I used to go to dungeons and I would meet someone and in the plane with him that night and most of the time it went okay but sometimes more than I would like it would go off the rails. My own personal technique these days is if I am trying to negotiate a situation with someone I would prefer referred to actually over negotiate as opposed under negotiate and if it takes some of the sexy away and that's not the fantasy that works for you and the other Persian gets frustrated and walks away. I consider that a sign that that wasn't someone that was meant to interact with in the first place. I want to sit down with you and find out exactly what your needs are what it is. You're looking to accomplish what things are not comfortable with. What things might be a trigger for you? What it is that I'm looking to have happen what I want to get out of it and and the things I don't want to do and you have to have an honest clear direct dialogue about that? If you haven't done that dialogue he had done that communication. You're setting yourself up for a potential disaster and once you have established the framework of what it is to you're gonNA be doing don't deviate from that. Don't get all creative in the middle of it and think oh even though we didn't go over this. We didn't discuss it and they didn't consent. I'm just going to throw the sings. I think this is a cool thing and don't ask for that consent right in the middle of the scene when the adrenaline is flying and the endorphins are buzzing people could end up agreeing to something in the moment and having regret the next day when you're doing a scene properly people are you're fucked up. They are high the adrenaline endorphins are flowing through you might as well be drunk. Just like a drunk person cannot consent to something sure they can do it but that's not properly established consent and you do get regrets the next day people are just as intoxicated if you're in the middle of the scene when you throw in something that you have not consented you are setting yourself up potentially for a lot of unpleasantness down the line and you don't WanNa be that person. You don't want to be that person. The reputation of surprise bonus unexpected throwing in something this has gone off the rails. Everybody's unhappy. It's simply not worth the risk. One of the main problems that comes up is even if you are operating within the guidelines of the scene sometimes people will revolt consent in the middle of the scene and even though you haven't gone beyond any the established boundaries it is important to remember that people can revoke consent Senate any point in time for any reason and that is the bottoms right as frustrating as it is to feel that you're in the middle of something and suddenly the brakes are thrown on your like but wait we were just in the middle. It doesn't matter when the brakes were thrown on on when consent is revoked all action stops non-negotiable vis runs on to something I call the tops dilemma. ooh What exactly is the tops dilemma with any sort of interaction action in this way. There's always somebody that is driving the interaction. There's always a proactive party. You can't have to tops because then they're both trying to top each other. The scene falls apart. No wine is really willing to give up control. You can't have to bottoms because nothing really happens. Nobody initiates the action. Each person wants to be the passive one involved in the interaction. There is a term that you were talking to me about earlier lesbian. She pursued essentially what it is is that a female sheep indicates her sexual interest by standing stock still and not moving someone has to be the active party and when you have lesbian she pursued it's two sheep together attracted to each other standing stock still and batting their eyeballs at each other and no four progress is made. Someone has to make the first step. The burden lies on the person that has to make that first her step yes. The burden lies on the initiator whether it's somebody that you're interacting with sexually that you've done it with multiple times whether you're going in for the first kiss with somebody that you feel like you're making a connection with your the one taking the risk. You're the one that doesn't know if the person's GonNa react negatively to it but somebody has to make that initial proactive move essentially what the top still is is that anytime you are the person taking the proactive position in any sort of interaction whether it's a play partner that you've done multiple scenes with or whether you're going in to kiss somebody for the first time you are assuming the risk of consent violation the bottom in the scene is assuming the physical and emotional risk but you as the top the one that is dictating the action are assuming the risk of being accused of violating consent on top of that you're you were also taking on the responsibility of moving the scene forward reading your bottom as well as you can try to gauge what is and what is not okay with them dictating the pacing trying to determine whether other that pacing is good for your bottom whether to increase it where the decrease it essentially running the entire scene making sure that it's a pleasurable experience for everyone involved. This is the tops dilemma. Uh you open yourself up you put yourself out there and you run the risk of being accused of the violation. It's not only a social stigma but can also carry legal repercussions as someone who is a switch. I certainly know what you're talking about. When you are the person that is doing the leading of the action when I'm interacting with someone and they are the passive receptive party that is taking what it is? I'm doing with them whether it's me leaning and for the first kiss whether it's me initiating a back rub or whether it's me proposing strap on scene I'm taking the risk of rejection by opening myself out there. I'm also taking the risk tsk of reading them wrong of proposing action that something that's not enjoyable for them so you are having to be proactive in dictate. How a scene goes? I certainly know that when I've leaned in for a kiss for the first time that scary because the person could dodge definitely and you could have completely read them wrong and then they go and tell their friends oh this person's just a creep and I don't know why they were getting this vibe from me why they decided they wanted to try to initiate any sort of interaction and you're taking on that vulnerability initiating yeah. It's it's a it can be a very vulnerable place to be but somebody has to move the action or else. You're stuck in lesbian. She pursued you can't have too passive passive interact. You can't have two active interact irs. I know we are both switches and we will go back and forth is that's the best way to do it so often. China <hes> wrestle it out yeah yeah uh-huh we take turns topping each other. I like taking turns. It's true I know this is a bit of a heavy topic..
