"I think early on when i started longer cross country flights. I got real unlike charles. Am i on my mississippi back to houston is that is that critical for us pilots and is it important that we do it to be correct and not get lazy. I guess is my point. I think in general as pilots and controllers. We like to do things correct and a. It's probably good idea to know who you're talking to. But a lot of the we work the air carriers like the air. France flies the eighth s in late at night and by the time they've come from france they've been in the air hover. What is that ten twelve hours or something like that. They just call us control control. I mean they've had so many different facilities and everything like that. But yeah if you don't know just you know just check on with houston or like charles or whatever it may be your atc and then try to figure out where you are and get it correct. Next time i guess but it's it's not the biggest deal in the world wallet. You have any questions. I got my personal out of the way. We're going to obviously record more with these guys. But what what's your thoughts as we wrap up to the. I do have one question and that has to do with the ident- feature on the transponder. What i see a lotta times on on check rides coming into class. D airspace and the The applicant calls a bookstore. Conroy tower whatever you know we're fifteen miles to the west inbound for touching goes with information bravo and the controller say squawk one two three four he reaches down put twenty three four and the transponder and hits the ident- button and so i actually looked up and it's it's not in the regulations but it is in the in the aim and basically it says don't push the button until the controller in less the controller tells you to identify. So what do you guys see when someone identity and is it a big deal. I think it's a big deal. Because i've seen countless number of applicants do it and we've haven't been yelled at yet so i i don't think it's a big deal Do you guys see and do you care if somebody or do you want them. We'll just center. Because i'm sitting here next to ali but i don't wanna go against the aim. I feel bad doing it because people are smarter than me. Put that together for a long time. But i would say there's no disadvantage to throw in the out there when you're first being or identified. It's just something that if anything it's going to help the controller for us. It's three horizontal lines very small that come up over the target to just pointed out you know who you are on the scope Just always assumed by like bleed like now like a submarine on this bob squawking emergency or something like that or hijack is going to make a much bigger..

A Prayer for When You Don't Feel Worthy of Prayer
"Era when you don't feel worthy of prayer by liz conroy. Lettuce us with confidence. Draw near to the throne of grace. Hebrews four sixteen god does not wear your actions and set your sin on a scale to see if you're worthy of approaching him. If i send level mattered the no one would ever be worthy. But because of jesus. Christ when god looks at us he sees his sons sin lewis light and innocent sacrificed therefore because of the gospel. We are free to approach god and communicate with him when isaiah was brought before the lord in isaiah six. He fell down at his own unworthiness and could not look at god. Isaiah had no merit to earn god's favor but through a gift. God made isaiah righteous just as god removed isaiah's guilt with burning coal. He removes your guilt with the blood of his son. The gift is a one time gift. You are made guiltless in god's eyes however since those saved by christ still live in a fallen world we still fall prey to sin when we pray for forgiveness. It draws away from sin and pulls us closer to god and when we pray often we think about sin less. Don't let sin keep you from prayer if you haven't prayed today or in. Weil take five minutes today and close your eyes. Thank god for who he is and who he's made you to be asked him to forgive any sin in your life especially the sin that's been holding you back from him. Let his love whore over you and refresh you

Meteorite recovered in the UK after spectacular fireball in the sky
"On the final day of february people in some parts of the uk were treated to a celestial light show as a meteor streaked in from space hundreds of videos viable have since been posted online by amateur photographers. We'll see even more special by analyzing the footage multiple networks of cameras for the first time in three decades in the uk the coporate and as it turns out very rare space rock the caused all this was successfully tracked down and recovered from someone's driveway. Phil sansom spoke to the uk meteo observation networks. Mary mcintyre to hear how it happened. There was a really bright fireball picked up across multiple networks. A week ago on sunday and later in the week we found out the in meteorite fight being recovered and this is an incredibly thing to happen in the uk actually even in the world to recover meteorite that's been seen as a fireball quite ready then we found out that it's one of an extremely rag kind of meteorite just so many special things and we just haven't been able to sleep because we're just so excited such a huge win for citizen science. It really was. Wow and you didn't even know what was coming. Did you just sort of appeared as a flash right. Yeah these things. You can't predict them. They're entirely random pieces of space debris and this one was really unusual because it was captured by so many cameras across the because we had a clear sky across the country. What does it look like. Is it just a bright. The whole sky lynx up or is there like an angle you can see and that's how you figure out where he's going. It depends way you see it from our camera so it was heading straight for us so actually on our camera was just an enormous flash and it was really difficult. Get any data from it. Because she couldn't see a flight path but there's a guy called rigid fleet down in wiltshire. Who caught it side on is the most phenomenal bright thing. Streaking across the sky just resulted in this enormous kind of explosion and it fragmented. We could see that there were multiple fragments there and won't she kind of do the calculations behind the scenes. They can figure out the speed. It was moving the angle through the atmosphere. It's exact path before it been up and once you do all that they can also figure out the mass. And once she know the mashed you can then calculate whether something may have survived and landed the normally something like that would be kind of kept quiet for fear of contamination but because of covid and the fact that the area that they think it landed was basically lots of farmland in the cox worlds. None of us are thought for a second that this would get recovered and if it was recovered not for many days when it been rained on all that stuff so it was. It was just incredible. It could have gone in a stream. I'm guessing it could have gone a sheep's trough and cheap eight it. Many fables in the k. Are thought to survive but the end up in the sea because the small island so who actually found dead and how one of the homeowners at actually heard third on their drives the previous your house and they just didn't think anything of it but once the natural history museum per hour video to local saint. If you see anything please have a look and they went out and there was a fragment some dust and kind of black raise on driveway. And i think a fragment bounced over the the walter. Next door's garden wants. People arrived on the scene from wednesday onwards. There was like a fingertip search of the area remote fragments being found in. We've now found about hundred grams of this. Which is just extraordinary. You said that not only was it. Amazing space rock. It's also a very special kind of space rock. It is it's it's a type of meteorite called a carbonaceous conned right and they're really important because most of them originate from the asteroid belt asteroids themselves the old because that leftover material from when the solar system formed four point five billion years ago. But what's amazing about carbonaceous conroy's they have these tiny little of material that actually predates our solar system some of them have organic materials amino acids in them and to get a sample that is really pristine like this is incredibly rare and so important for scientists to kind of analyze the material and find out the origins of our solar system and before also system. It's just being one of the most amazing stories of the decade and the hasn't been a full that's been found for thirty s in the uk. So it's amazing and what's funny as well as aren't their missions. Going on right now. Sending probes up to asteroids way out in space desperate to try and get any sort of sample from them. And we've just had one line right at our doorstep. It is well. There was actually a mission to the asteroid a writer and the quality of the some police comparible without sample return mission from right and they brought by lake tiny amounts of asteroids. And we've got four hundred grams of this. I mean you can't rely on them landing as a way of analyzing them because it just doesn't happen very often. I take me found all the time. But they've been led on the ground. Who knows how long. And still quite believe israel i just honestly when i found out i just cried because such an amazing

Your income can give you freedom insecurity. Well this story illustrates it really well and it also happens with no debt and very little stress so perhaps the archetype of a model to follow no debt very little stress increasing your freedom and security stories called floridian finds fair value flipping furniture in. Yes i did have fun coming up with that title. The stories coming up in just thirty seconds in two thousand twenty one. A truly diversified portfolio needs more than the mix of stocks bonds and mutual funds. It really needs private. Real estate studies have shown that portfolios with an allocation to private real estate generally delivered a better risk adjusted return with more annual income and lower volatility over the past two decades now with fundraise. This level of powerful diversification is available to you. Fundraise has been a partner of the show in the past. But i also use fund rise. I am a fundraiser investor myself. That's not something. I am required or even encouraged to do but i have really been personally impressed with the platform so i started talking about this in conversations that are completely unrelated to the podcast. So i think they're doing something really really interesting. I want to encourage you to see for yourself. How one hundred and thirty thousand. Investors have built a better portfolio with private real estate. It takes just a few minutes to get started. Go to fundraise dot com slash side-hustle today that's f. u. n. t. r. e. dot com slash side-hustle conroy's dot com slash side hustle ryan krones inspiration for his side. Assault came from a close source. His wife jessica late two thousand eighteen just restored their running room furniture to reflect a farmhouse style. One morning shortly after ryan was getting ready for his job and call center management. They got to talking. Jessica mentioned people would pay good money for refurbished furniture. Like how much right asked probably five hundred dollars for a dining room table. Jessica set intrigued. Ryan asked her to teach him how she painted their table. She did and within a week. Ryan was restoring an old dresser. They purchased for thirty dollars off facebook marketplace. The restoration involved ryan putting on a new coat of paint which only took a couple of hours as well as fifty dollars in supplies. This included a ten dollar paintbrush amazon along with the paint from lowe's although he had no previous refurbishing experience ryan realized. He loved the task when he listed the dresser back on facebook marketplace. It's sold within two hours for one hundred and fifty dollars. He and jessica were shocked at how quick it happened. It wasn't much work for a seventy dollar profit and even better. This was the first time they tried my able to replicate or even improved results. So for the next piece ryan refurbished up to the sale price. It sold in less than a day bufton polish with success. He started searching for more pieces of furniture at garage sales auctions and on facebook. He didn't have a truck at the time so he would borrow one from family or friends in order to source multiple pieces in a single day after refreshing them with paint or stain he would list them online with each one profit between one hundred and fifty to two hundred and fifty dollars since you've listed solely on facebook marketplace and didn't advertise ryan didn't have to pay any costs for marketing is. He began to scale up. He would work on several separate pieces at once. He devised a rotation process in his garage which allowed him to apply three coats to three or four pieces a day. You got even faster once. He learned how to do. Stained wood tops. This feature increased the value of his furniture still further. It allowed him to take a fifty dollar dresser and sell it for up to three hundred dollars in fact. Here's a fun anecdote. Brian purchased one particular piece from a garage sale. For fifteen dollars. Hit looked on. Its own so he ended up selling it as for two hundred dollars not a bad return on investment for practically no work the most challenging part of this project was learning the technique of making furniture reflect that farmhouse style. He messed up a bunch of pieces because he didn't apply the paint or stay in a certain way. Sometimes he could recover them sometimes not sometimes he would distress the coats of paint too much but through trial and error ryan perfected the skill. The furniture flipping continued part time for several months. Meanwhile he was growing more and more than happy. It is corporate job so in august. Two thousand nineteen jessica convinced him to quit and try flipping furniture fulltime. He finally got his own truck and focused on the furniture. Business bringing in between two thousand and three thousand dollars a month. Although this was less than he made it as corporate job he was much more content. Ryan did this for about nine months. Also helping out with jessica's wedding photography business earlier this year. He got a chance to go back to work in call center management but with a twist. This time he found a dream job working remotely as a supervisor. This rule enables him to be close to his family also getting a regular paycheck with benefits. He's quick to note that the furniture flipping business will always be one of his reliable income. Sources it's not mentally taxing and he rebels in the opportunity to be creative. Best of all it serves as a solid backup plan so check this out. This story is a wonderful example of something that anybody can do. And when i say anybody can do like let me just kind of break this down because you might think. Well i'm not handy. I'm not either just just to be clear but it's not so much about being handy. Renovating is a lot like reselling of any form so reselling. I sometimes say one way or another. Everybody can do it. So maybe furniture isn't your market. What about computers or cameras or cars or high end kitchen blenders or upscale fashion items. These are just a few markets in which it's possible to make a good profit by acquiring items on making some kind of change or improvement and then selling those items to a new owner now. The chain improvement can be something substantial. You could be like overhauling the entire car. Let's say it can be maybe somewhere in the middle like a lot of furniture renovation is. it can't be purely aesthetic. In some cases you do run into situations like the dope from ryan where he found something and then thought about making a change to it but decided it's actually pretty good as it is in that case he paid a pretty low price borden was able to resell it for for a fantastic profit margin. So that doesn't happen all the time of course but you know as you kind of delve into this. Sometimes it does so. It's one of these things that everybody can do. If you're trying to figure out what's my next. How can i create a source of income. That is a good back-up plan for me. Something in this direction is worth considering. So i'm gonna leave you with today. Inspiration is good but inspiration with action is so much better.

We have many like whole par-three Kinda hold. That's like downhills on hard knocks. Pretty so that kept US occupied hard knocks. Got Into I didn't realize they add new episodes every week I watched like in a row and say, oh, that's it. And this this year was a little bit different because there was no preseason game. So they didn't get into a lot of that stuff, but I thought was pretty good. So Patrick Conroy, Giorgos roommate, how is our quarterback feeling about? No rehearsals before the great on they did some scrimmages within within their team at so stadium which looks amazing by the way I don't know if you guys gotta channel my Gosh I can't believe we can't go to it. You know. That's painful. But it's still it's still going to be a great season without fans will still good on TV that's for sure and Patrick I understand jared Goff's on a new diet. Yes he started a new diet just kind of. Get himself feeling better looking better So I think that this should be good for the coming season on my refrigerator I put my inspiration and I've got pictures of David Beckham and I've got others up there. You know my fashion inspiration, my physique inspiration on ever get there but I liked the visual does he have a on your refrigerator? Does he have Tom Brady or somebody up on the? Pretty clean on the outside. But? No I think definitely what what he's done with his body has been great and off season. So be ready to go nobody would know it better than his roommate. What has he done with his body and it's off season. Now, here's here's. Like that? No no no. No you don't explain yourself. You do look cooler since you've been spending more time at home. Doesn't he? He's got an a Totally. Swag. In out right. Swag too when you knew us, what are those footballs in the background those footballs yeah. Those rolled his This is like their the office in his name balls from his office. Are you in his career? Where are you? This is the office we all like switch off doing zoom calls. Oh, you. Throughout here I got tour. Drawers in the bedside tapers yeah. Yeah. Laptop takes around the house we got. We got some serious. This is what's great about jared and his roommate Patrick. They're doing good things for people and I was reading here jared recently donated a million backpacks to the Inglewood School district and in March donated two, hundred, fifty, thousand dollars to the Regional Food Bank dealt families deal with the pandemic. Yes. So he's he's done a lot of that stuff. You also relaunched brand which last year on my brought in a couple of teachers but it was just the logo before, and now he got the team that kind of made a couple more clothing options for everybody more like a rather than just a logo So he's donating all his arrays, all the procedure going to the Unified Inglewood unified, school district that has of the brand merch items. Yeah that's awesome. Senior. J. G. for Jared Goff but then it looks like the number. Sixteen. Doesn't have like. A little bit of colored as to differentiate the sixteen or JD in the sixteen. But this is just a black and white or Bra I I will contribute to the costs I would love I'm going to buy one of those hats I like that. Yeah. That's really great. We'll Patrick thank you so much for coming on. Glad that you n our quarterback at the Rams Jared Golf doing well together, and I don't know when we'll see in person but we'll definitely talk this season Bre Housi- film about playing with. No fans. I think it's an he's in different I mean obviously it's not going to be the same vibe in the stadium, but you still gotta handle the business on field so whether our fans are not, it's kind of the same mentality.

QuakeCon at home
"Quake on. Obviously didn't happen this year. It was at home quite con at home is what they were calling it. Real creative and I'll say this hats off to quite con because I was in their discord and participated on in like the little antics and everything that they did through dischord and twitter and things like that. It was actually like a legit good time. They didn't just throw it like in the towel and say. We're going to do a stream will show some new doom thing and elder scrolls online announcement and okay, that's it. We'll see you guys next year. You know like kind easily just been a bunch of Tech Demos and it still people probably would have been happy ultimate, right. Content but it's nice that they went like above and beyond to make an experience. Yeah. Because quite constant around a quake con has been around long enough to where if you've been it's I mean it's cool. Don't get me wrong like it's the setup is bad ass and it's definitely like a celebration of like doom and quake and fall out like the pathet staples Elder scrolls, things like that. But I think it's definitely like comparing it to dream Hack is a little bit more homegrown community vibe to it. It's not as corporate. The people that are going to quite con have been going for the last ten years. You know like quake built that community of I think the same people are going to grapevine obviously new attendees coming go right there's always out traffic but I think the quake to me feels more of A. Family style experience in a lot of these people know each other dream Hack is more like entertainment rights. So you don't have a lot of new faces every single year it feels like So it was nice that they took care of their own in the sense like you you wanted to to make them feel special and I think they got so many people just involved this which was awesome. Yes. I actually had a lot of fun now of course. With quake CON COMES MY. Annual pilgrimage to quake champions. I've been playing the game since closed Beta. And I shit you not. It's like every time quake conroy around I'm like damn. I'm feeling it I WANNA, play some quake. I'm I'm feeling it. Then I'll play I'm like, Damn this is a lot of fun why why did I stop playing and then I stopped playing like two weeks later I did play some quake this weekend. So did you I'm going to stick with it? It's it won't be like my main game. I don't have a main game anymore. anyways. But I think all all dip my toe in the water here and there it's it's a it's a classic game. You can't beat it. It's one of those games you keep installed right 'cause you can never. You can never beat the joy of playing civil quick game right as especially as an older game to have the ability to jump into something. That's like ten minutes or less at times pretty bad, ass. That's a big positive for big part for us but yeah, it's it's. It's a fun free-flowing game, right like for people that have grown up with those style of games that field there's something about it like you get the movement going it is just you get that direct. Let me tell you what if we have to rank like top ten feelings in a video game like EA sports related I don't know the list maybe this is like a throwaway topic for future episodes. So write it down folks but a direct rocket hit. In quake has to be on that list it really does. Just. That feeling of getting that direct rocket is just it's it's pure bliss. You feel the punch in. makes it makes a different kind of field. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know where it's on the top ten, but it's gotta be on the top ten for sure.

The Special Delivery Podcast with Craig Williams Discuss Becoming a Horse Racer
"I primarily Victorian todd is it really important for you to Roy pre ships in Victoria is this guy now is involved in it then it's it's not just me it's more tame we'll have around me and I'm really lucky that network Sasha from my family and then goes out to the people for me or we'll me and so as a goal that was one thing that we really wanted to focus on because we didn't have any commitments outside of commitments in Australia. Now appearances not fixed up for jockeys in other in other countries lock at ease in Australia the worst case scenario does happen and it will doing what we do so we sat down Ted discussion for what we do for the law seven months of the season and and we we talk the championship and nine when we won the year before it was also brought up that the holder old Tom Holders Roy into the holds and live and so be amazing as a goal for us to sit as attained and we we said that goal so three premiership so equal Roy and then I play go policy while that's a lot my wife says it racy we'll go great competition and it's twelve months work and everything needs to wrought Siro but it is it is a great call and I love doing what I'm doing and and it's all understand that you just mentioned that with insurance and broadening and so forth are other precincts around the world becomes a question Mark picked up a contract gone rod for Godolphin someone sees a game would you yes they had the biggest in the world and dioxide in England you'll have a very similar to what we try so we are very lucky to ride mistrial and now with the especially with the the honey war that's going on with financially one of the world's ladies in horse racing jurisdictions it's fantastic finish writing jockey so with the plate of the ladies pretty I'm on developing the product of New South Wales rising and more be Victoria or against the New South Wales when you look at it from a from an solder looking in but it's not it clear cut what about opportunities in Sydney with the prize money increase if you ever thought about going up to Sydney and becoming jokey we actually had a making my wife and Leisa and Guy Waterhouse and Robinhood House had a meeting just would have been probably maybe ten years ago and and she fled the idea of May coming up and enrolling as part of her team we've heard jockey natural it's on and we discussed it and we have four children mewa and I and we just felt that was going to be a major shift up there and always also stealing between going and spending time into taking up contracts in Japan it was one thing that we didn't go ahead and do and and Dino Radja wrong but I'm happy being I'm a father a husband and Jockeying Victoria and there's plenty of opportunities here Viktoria but opportunities for you as a young Fella didn't come easy in particular touchdown you were born in Britain arising gang file ellen trying to ulcers your mother as a daughter of an ant standing champion China intake harrison so you grew up around it and now you very welding crab boy has jurisdiction might but things were not easy in terms of guiding Lawson says an apprentice jockey can the in-law this little net giancarlos had two brothers dining jason and five for them train horses and I always wanted sabet my father I always wanted to be a jockey and are at school writing stories that would be at that time it was called is it's called houses and pray stable jockey and then we'd win Cox plight smell when cops call them slips and at the same time we went to school we've never light I harrison who's my cousin and he brought the similar so he was he was worried if the coming so it was great whoo did hating certain races and and we write stories that will have families all children ride horses and ponies and and we used to fuck up they the bathrooms that it'll mirrors and think one and I didn't realize then we thought it was finding eight until we become jockeys and realize someone is fun and Games it's a hell of chocolates having having look whites and we've found it wasn't much fun neighbor did start out and I was quite heavy I was fifty kilos went on winning to the initial trial period can get to get a three months period and was fifteen I think I lost fifty fifty days of age What's the president to on as an apprentice to buy knock you back to Mike my father had a very good case and put forward to to the panel stewards who who's done and it was that the OCE Bay headquarters in South Melbourne and John repack end and he just say well if it's three months period he's still going through much trial period he still going to start school so if he doesn't make it to be what he dreams he's hopes and dreams of going to be shattered but if he doesn't maybe we can taping industry maybe he can be Ferriera Conroy track work something he doesn't have to necessarily have to be Asaki if he's white doesn't come down so you only trial period let's say let's monitoring whiten please give him a go down the drain that are going to be shouted if it doesn't if it doesn't turn it right to him and he put through good case and the rest is history but I'm very fortunate that I listened and most importantly beware in if I didn't have the support my parents and my brothers like amazing upbringing advising loft because I've had what support structure the whole time so of course in life you have good and bad times and you have to have a network around you and I was lucky I was born to that network so you leave school when you fifty you're selling them as an apprentice for three month test saving and bring Your White Dan work in the environment of the stable and the need to to reach of your father did you lose that why did you had a guy for that the three months was quite tough where you're on Dodd's yes so my father he was previously jockey and he said I want my son doing what I had to do in back then comparing it to what we know now they didn't we didn't have the education at disposal and and we're lucky because PAT highland son Tom Samdhong and we're all doing apprenticeships together and it was actually Marine Pat Highland that put my my mother and father onto eighty at one of the hospitals that does nutrition so then we went and saw this this lady and we I was in learning nutrition pretty condoling sorry I don't think I've really had I'm not sure but but they put me on to things that I had assault wasn't that strict so I was actually perfect for me being a young person and at that age you get told by speaks volume by a lot of things so it was great that we so had options to work around it wasn't that you had to do this and that the only thing was I was going doing a growing phases while we're both my brothers went through as well so I would say I had muscles that was that wobbly muscle cold fat anyway I was Pretty Pretty Pudgy so I I did have to lose and and then I had to drive because I wanted to do it on a lot my cousin I want to be my father and and that really drives me then we sought out a nutritionist? They don't want to partition and then true that we went onto a sportsman allegation who ended up being tyranny who is now head of the Victorian Institute of Sport so my parents put me onto the papal from eight to learn about what we needed to be obligated do and and then luckily body allowed me to to stay light and and now he won the top jockeys destroy that can ride lot it's a fascinating combination of managing growing as a young person young men working seven days a week every second Sunday off as an apprentice becker we're in the nineties and to be losing white but tells the bet natural ability where you're a natural as a kid was quite tough for you to guide opportunity to rotting rices and winners now wasn't I wasn't a natural a lot a lot hoses fast and but the natural and no mine never was but I always had to work hard and anyway that's probably what's being more strongly drink is just working hard and I love strategizing always loved the planning and the tactics and and but most importantly doubt the support I had the best thing I had even as a master my father he's turned out to be one of the lady mosses of apprentices as well look grain -taining in Sydney my follows the signing Victoria with everyone that went under and he's guidance fulltime it turned out to be the champion Raja's group one winning Rod he's very proud of that he does remind me that often but always very lucky osborne as every time I rode a race we were analyzing everything that we were doing and and still had that

Teenager Therapy
Teenage Therapy Podcast; Mental Health Issues
"Hi everyone welcome back to the teenage therapy gail. I'm Thomas I'm mark. Kayla in welcome back to the PODCAST is it here yeah is not here. you know surprisingly we haven't done a an episode on depression. Have we knew it was the second episode. I don't accepts it but I know we. We have really remember it so it's been a long it's been here. I think are sad. Hours was Kinda about mental health. You know no but it was a nominee. People know that's what it's about because the title is set hours yeah. Could you imagine if we kept naming are episodes like that yeah you. I know well. We know what he's about that episode iconic Sarah Bread Hours. We're GONNA make that into merch approach in I don't know about that but in this episode we want to talk about stuff regarding mental health mental issues and stuff because I know it's a very important topic for some of you and it is for us so let's let's get added the it's cut to the chase and now ease into so have any of you struggled with mental house any aspect of it or to any degree. I mean obviously I've like gone through periods. Here's a time where I just feel like sad everyday but I don't know if that counts as like depression I mean how long was how long has added like a month. Maybe one was is like last year. Yeah do you are you. I'm I'm fine. I'm fine. Now I was going to ask you what was the reason Oh. It was just like family stuff yeah yeah. I don't know if that counts. I don't think it was depression but I don't even know like how do I know. I don't think you know unless you're with you truly truly know unless you you go to get a diagnosed adopt but sometimes it kind of seems obvious like you're probably depressed you know. Have you been sad every day for three months. You have thoughts about killing yourself then. You're probably depressed burn. That's another topic we'll get into waiter and I don't think it was like depression depression anything. I was just going through. Something stinks yeah team things. I don't think I have experienced a specific type of mental health illness but I feel like I've definitely you experience a factor or a causing factor of it which is stress. I've definitely become stressed out from school and Family Family Pressures Ashes and friends and all of that yeah basically basically that did did you ever talking to quietly. I'm sorry you're Kinda like whispery but I get it. I get it I get divide your whispering but I get why you would be aggressive. Soothing this episode guy is probably going to be a little more soothing. I kind of feel really relaxed Spain. Why not yeah we actually we're in a better speed. And what are you trying to. He carefully the words Kyle. I'm ahead out okay. Let me restart but yeah this episode will probably be a lot more calm and relaxed and we won't be screaming as much as we did in the last episode anyways Thomas. What about you. Have you ever experienced any mental into health issues. Yeah like in the past episodes. I've mentioned before but I've gone through more. You're stages that I'd like to wow you know have gone through. I mean it's been a rocky journey. That's all all I can really say but it didn't like okay so the oppression I hit me and I was like entering middle school or something during that time but my it was when I came out and it was this whole family yarmuth thing and so that really messed me up mentally and maybe unstable for a good year or so oh and then just other things that I mean. I don't really want to mention but I've always there were times where I felt felt like everything was getting better like I'm getting happier but then he always went back to the way it was where I was just super. Sad Dad and stuff and it was really bad during freshman year. I don't remember if it was driving your software you honestly. I just think like every I is enter middle school and from that point on I've just been like very mentally unstable times where I felt myself getting better and at the moment I definitely feel myself getting better and this time I kind I mean. It got better for a few months but this time it's been going on for a good amount and hopefully it stays like that so you're doing good right now. You'd say yeah I'm doing better. have you ever been medically diagnosed with depression of no no. I I would not want to go to my doctor and all that why not because they're my parents get involved and here's again involved why not because it just. I don't know it's just this horrid deal and I don't want my parents to stress out about that way about your health. Yeah now you say anything. I want to just focus on themselve themselves obviously because I mean it's just that they have so many responsibilities ladies and one of them is me but I don't know it's just like I don't really want to talk to away doctors about it is just not very comfortable tweet but you've talked to the counselor is about coast right the two yeah yeah for a small very short time. I didn't know this very very it was it wasn't a big deal. It was more like just just someone I could talk to every now and then there wasn't you know very official. Traditional Yeah wasn't very traditional but whenever like I didn't need to talk to someone I would have them honestly about me. At the time avenues in seventh grade and of course as most people are way. We dated in Eighth Grade Right Yeah we had it for like two years so I've Cassini you are I was. I was with you throughout these times where you were Kinda. You know really struggling so I know were you were like and how you acted and I noticed You always told me you just you don't believe that going to therapy will help so can you explain why obviously at the time it was just so hopeless you know because when people suffer with depression they obviously don't think it'll ever get better for them and they just don't have a sense of hope or a a motivation to get better because they don't think they will and at the time. I felt that way and I didn't think going to counsel I mean oh I think to a therapist who would help me even though it probably would definitely would have by the time it was just like Whoa. There's nothing they can do about it is just the way it is you know and what about having your parents get involved. Why do you think it you will be seen as a burden I fighter would have just been seen as a burden because my parents are always working and they barely ever get like rested or do but during those restaurants there are also busy with other stuff so I try to knobby so inconvenient for them. You know any. Do you think work is more important to them than their son. Part of the reason why I was struggling so much is because of my relationship with my parents so you didn't trust them yeah yeah. I just didn't really trust them. What what about now. I trust them a lot more beverly I mean my dad has always been very a lot of mood swings so it changes. Sometimes he's really nice and very outgoing with me and then other times. He's just very angry and just ignorant. I guess I very closed minded. Yeah closed mine in but my mom was yes definitely gotten better. I think he I realized that like because okay so when I was growing up. I cried a lot. I was really sensitive and then so everyone would call me a crybaby and especially like my relatives and I was like you know that kind of hurt but anyway so my parents always just thought that Oh you know he's just sensitive whatever he has to get over this at some point but so I guess when actually did become like it wasn't just my sensitivity but my actual like like mental health. They just assumed it was you know me being sensitive in me crying about dumb stuff but I think my mom I just realized that it's a lot more than that and it's like stress from Skoll and all that okay so you think they just got used to you crying crying today. You know that there's a difference between you being mentally unstable and you just being sensitive right. I remember this time where after that incident with the counselor like the the beginning of the year. My Dad had a had to come pick me up and my counselor had to go call them. We've always like conroy like I'd rather just not have the counselors mention anything into my parents but I mean they did anyway so they called him and they let him know what's going on and when he picked me up he was just telling Halima counselor sensitive and like. Oh don't worry he he's just being sensitive like you literally said that counselor embarrassing for me a little because I literally just care my struggles with the counselor and then my my dad walks in and tell telling her like Oh to just basically basically disregarded like how would you react if like sewing said that to you and I felt bad for her because I didn't know what she would do in that situation do I don't even remember I think at the time like heat boy. We just laughed. Oh like I think I think Mike Council was trying her best to like explains. Why Dad like what was going on but obviously my dad's very closed minded and so well he. Did it really care enough so he just we just went home and so after going through all of that if you were to feel that way again today. Would you tell your parents I tell my mom okay and Utah. Maybe Burgess depends which let's go. Kinda sucks but that's just the way it is and you try to get a therapist and try to get a therapist or what would you would you. It was severe then. Yod Get his therapist and what about anonymous help hotlines and stuff. Have you ever tried those. No why not doc I don't know like it just doesn't really cross my mind. What I'm thinking about like you know those kind of thoughts. Well my experience with mental into health I wouldn't say I have much. I guess I did go through a pretty tough patch and my the child hood when I was like twelve years old you know how there's a pretty common the after puberty when I began puberty your home your hormones change and a lot of teenagers get depressed right. You've seen that in that happened to me which which sucked and I remember feeling very very sad. I will set all the time I definitely thought about ending my life more than once joins. The thought about a lot of times do they they. They were ongoing thoughts and I remember how hopeless I felt how badly I wanted to die. During this time was just because of your hormones or now there was also different situations rations. I was in that made me really hate my life and I really hated it and it was it was tough. I it was just you know overwhelming feelings of sadness and anger you felt a lot of of anger and that anger felt towards other people kind of just got trapped and reflected back at myself so I felt lonely to during this time. I remember feeling really lonely out. It was just I cry every night. Every single night I would cry and there was a lot of songs that I used to listen to on repeat because it didn't really even you know here's the the way I view it because might be a little controversial but when people get sad it becomes so easy to be in down mindset and in that mode of being sad that you get so used to it that you don't Wanna be happy again almost because that's that's how I felt I was so used to being sad and crying and honestly it's weird to explain unless you've kind of been through it but I wanted to be happy but at the same time I didn't I was just fine being sad and I guess that's part of just loosen losing hope in life that you don't even WanNa be happy anymore.
