Lord Conrad Black Claims in New Article No Evidence Nixon Committed Crime

"Talk about the incident in history that made called bernstein undeservedly famous Your latest piece with a wonderful title from the editors at american greatness is fifty years of deep state propaganda. And it has to do with the the nixon debacle and the watergate scandal. You met president nixon after he left office. You've got to know him. You wrote a superlative work on the man. Can we start with the basics. How how is it that he has gone down in conventional wisdom as the crook. Tricky dicky win as you have pointed out in your book in latest article and i just summarize it and tell me if i i'm i'm passing you ineffectively. There is no evidence that he actually committed a crime with those payments. You know there never has been and Ever tried because he wasn't well enough to face trial but Or or do you know to go and give evidence at trial. He got a pardon so he wasn't then be tried and sell that The fact is that there isn't it. I haven't the inconvenient fact about this whole Watergate business that Ah it. There is no evidence. Nixon committed a crime. Some people in his entourage that there's no better but they did not allege that mr nixon told them not to basically perjury charges in getting and obstruction of justice but none of them alleged that the nixon told them to do and And and so. The whole thing rests on did his approval of payments to watergate thin than some some of the which did that constitute obstruction of justice and all the closest we have is powered hunt as whereas it just tragically died in a plane crash near the number of young children and nixon said we'll give him give him the money he wants but he didn't say fung as he he's quieter wise under oath or anything like that. He never said anything like that. There's never been one shred of evidence that that's what nixon authorized payments for and he always alleged and there's some of the tapes that the that he specifically said they've got to be able to pay their lawyers and feed their families and so we'll we'll give the money for that. Adrienne Rich was One of the Most Widely-Praised Poets of the 20th Century

"We're talking about one of the most widely taught widely read and widely praised poets at the twentieth century. Her burke brought the minute show of women's lives into the spotlight challenging the idea that to right from the female perspective was uninspired and undeserving of attention. Let's talk about adrienne rich when she was born in baltimore in nineteen twenty nine adrienne rich's parents thought she would be a boy they'd plan to name her after her father. Arnold a doctor. Instead arnold decided his daughter adrienne would be a literary prodigy by the age of four. Adrienne could read and write by six. She wrote her first poetry book by seven a fifty page play about the trojan war. This is the child we needed and deserved her mother. Helen wrote in a notebook. Helen had been a concert pianist and had given up her career for marriage. And motherhood as much as adrian's childhood was marked by long hours in her father's library her mother's sadness and lack of agency left a lasting impression to in nineteen fifty one while a senior at radcliffe college. Adrian experienced her first big break her poetry manuscript. A change of world won the yale younger poets prize. The prize came with a publishing contract. W h auden wrote the foreword and reviewers loved it. At twenty two years old. Adrian became a critical darling soon thereafter. She won a guggenheim fellowship. Which funded additional studies at oxford. There she met alfred. Conrad a graduate student from harvard. Despite her father's disapproval and married alfred. Nineteen fifty three

How Will Biden Administration Reach Its Clean Energy Goal?

"President biden's administration said a big climate goal two zero out greenhouse gas emissions from power plants by twenty thirty five last week we talked with epa administrator michael regan about this believe that we can set up the right policy instrumentation and regulatory framework to encourage continued innovation to get us to that carbon-neutral goal that we know we can't achieve continued innovation. Industries still has to figure some of this out. So what more do we know about how the government is going to encourage it. Npr's jeff brady has been following up. Jeff good morning good morning. I just wanna know. 2035 sounds really distant. And then you start counting fourteen years not that long when you talk about changing all the power plants in the country house administration going to do it. Well you know is getting. The details are getting a little bit clear from the president's budget proposal and groups talking with the administration about this Details are still being worked out but a central focus is creating a national clean energy standard. And this would be a countrywide requirement that overtime increasing of is generated from fuels that don't emit the greenhouse gases that fossil fuels do conrad schneider at the clean air task. Force says it's similar to renewable energy standards that many states have they essentially required an increasing percentage electricity sales from renewable energy like clean energy standard simply broadens the list of energy resources that are eligible under the standard so in addition to wind and solar. This national standard would include things like hydropower and nuclear and another bit of detail. Here of energy likely will create this standard. And that's a little controversial. Some of the epa to do it. It's better known for setting and enforcing standards but some of the largest environmental groups. Say what's important is it. It gets

"Another source of information in the spirit is. The person is projecting in this happens. A huge amount. I mean it's huge. It happens a lot. People were project things in the spirit there either aware of it or they're not most of the time they're not dad and i. When i was young we used to play what we called the projection game. We would get quite inner minds in dad would say i'm about to project an image in you. Tell me what it is. And i was close to one hundred percent right on the first try then after the second or third try i would start missing it so the first time i was usually dead on second time i would usually get the third time not as much in the fourth time was like the different ballgame so other people project things in the spirit knowingly or unknowingly when they're praying for things when when we pray for something. You're actually depositing something in the spirit when you visualize this. Is the substance of things hoped for talked about in hebrews their visualizing those things and they're actually parking them in the spirit. This is the evidence of things. Hope you know. Ben Silverman - Ececutive Producer of The Office

"How did you discover the uk version of the office. I was at my friend. Henrietta conrad's house. I was not an agent. I had left being an agent where i had found everything from who wants to be a millionaire to cracker queer as folk and had translated them into america as the packaging agent and i laughed. Backed by barry diller to start my own company called rally and i had just begun reveling in win over to london for a work trip and was staying at my friend. Henrietta conrad's house and we were watching television. And i was literally flipping the channels and i came on to the office. This is episode one or two okay of the uk season one office. Wow and i was watching it. I wondering if it was for comedy or for real than quickly recognized what it was doing single camera no laugh track faux documentary with people who felt real and i kept watching and started laughing. And it's really hard to make me laugh. And i was falling in love with the show in that moment and then i started thinking about it the next day in the morning and i asked henrietta if she knew ricky gervais as and she said no but her friend dan. Mazer did and we organized and had dinner with dan that night. Which are twenty four hours after you after you see it for the first time on television. You're having dinner with someone who could get you to ricky. Yes and additionally. I also wanted to be with dan. Dan was sasha baron. Cohen's partner allergy was on television. Was allie ardor your then no in the uk okay. But i'm with dan mazer yep. Dan is lovely brilliant in his own. Right and i start peppering questions about the office. And he gives me ricky cell phone number and so the next day. I call ricky around eleven o'clock in the morning and introduce myself on the phone and say i'd love to meet you. Are you in town. He goes actually. Yes me in soho at the starbucks this afternoon and i coordinate a meeting and i spent an hour with ricky talking about the office and very quickly we got along because we both love television and he truly was making me laugh even in those moment right over over the coffee at starbucks and so he clearly had chosen the location of the starbucks because he then says to me oh good news. My agent is right around the corner. Let's go meet with them so it was almost like he met me confirmed. I was okay roy. Conversation was interesting and then we walked over and met with dunkin' as his agent. And then duncan and i began a three month process to secure the rights. And it wasn't until dunkin. Help me unlock it. All that i realized. Both the bbc and ricky controlled the rights. I needed ricky and stephen merchant to actually get it done and agitate to get it done otherwise. It was never going to get done. Got it so you you deal with the bbc. And you deal with ricky steven. You have this partnership in place and where do you go into the united states. I immediately start making phone calls and saying. Are you aware of the show the office. Do you know what it is. Do you think it would interest you. And this is probably now a month after are so run. The show has started to gain buzz. It's aired its cycle in the uk. Its initial six episodes and so it has an awareness. Now it's a thing right not a big thing but to anyone in england it in the television industry. You're aware so. I'm i'm back at the states reaching out to people one of the incredible things about hollywood which was a huge advantage for me to do. Well was that people in hollywood are pretty insular and don't like to travel. They think you need a passport to get from burbank to beverly hills. That is travel and so many people at this time in american television had no clue connection about anything beyond la. Right and only one exac at the time knew what i was talking about was a guy named nick grad. Who worked at fx and he knew what the show was and he loved the show. Kevin riley was running fx. At the time. I'd gone to less mooned us he passed. I went to gail berman. She passed immediately. Didn't get it. Hbo said we'll never do a remake. They clearly have altered that thinking that that time they were like. We won't do a format and showtime wasn't doing shows like this right. I didn't go to abc. 'cause i just knew it wasn't abc. Right and i was starting to tease. Nbc with it and kevin than got named the head of nbc. And i bring it up to him. And i say would you wanna do it here and kevin says absolutely little. Did he know he was actually my only buyer that time. He was the only one right who wanted everyone else. All of television everyone else had passed. Now are you in kevin's like let's do it. Like let's let's make it. You know i'll give you a pilot movement and then kevin's boss though. Who is very involved in his life. Jeff zucker didn't really like it that much because it was his single camera. Nola back injury. I got it like it was a hard pill for them to swallow. I was also like they didn't want the game show back in prime time when i brought millionaire. Everyone thought that was cheesy. Daytime like no no. This will change. Tv know you gotta look at it from how to push the genre and pushed the envelope. So that you can expand versus always play for defense right and i was like this is another level and this is potentially transformative of television and with that can come great great

"Let's talk about what who you are how you got online and what your favorite platforms are. So let's start there. yes. I'm originally from england. I came to america. Twenty two to get my commercial pilot's license. Because i thought that was how is gonna travel around the world but it turns out when you get you commercial pilot's license. You don't get to go to bali short trip so hang on a second. This isn't quite what i signed up for. But i did my training in long beach and i grew up watching laguna hills on mtv. And i was like one day lauren. Conrad and i'm gonna drive down h. And i'm going to be in my convertible. We're gonna have lunch together. And so. I always have that vision of wanting to live in southern california. I didn't realize that a pilot's license was going to be the thing that got me here. But when i got here i fell in love and i didn't end up becoming a pilot. I got my whole license but came to america on an old one visa and started to go jobs like this. British jackson turns out a lot of british people. Thinking the same thing in la special. But i did go for an audition to be on a youtube channel and that was probably about ten years ago now nine ten years ago and i got the audition and i found out that my one talent in life is talking and working out at the same time. I can do that all day long. So i started working for a channel on youtube. Grew it to like three million subscribers. We eighteen months. I got paid forty dollars per episode but it was just the excitement of being part of youtube and it was workout videos. And i found something that i knew. This was my thing after about a year and a half. They decided they didn't want to film anymore. I didn't understand why no problem and it took me about a year and a half to get my confidence to fill my own channel and have my own videos now. Been doing that for coming on six seven years. I've got my own fitness that we have a pocus. I just had a best selling book and life is great. But it's really been a lot of grit determination and hard work. But now i'm in a place. Where just loving life and just enjoying everything that's happening so talk to us about the. What is the team. Look like to be able to build videos and editing and all that stuff. What does that look like when you when you start when somebody says okay. I want to assemble cheang because nobody talks about the team. The talking about you should do this. Here's the tactics. let's start there. I love that question. And it's so funny because i think it's always something that i'm working on so i do have a team now but when i'm very first study doing youtube and i still have my camera like a souvenir i had one hundred and fifty dollar sony camera setup on a tripod and i would shoot myself and i had the camera and i didn't realize until about six months later that you could flip the camera so that you can actually see yourself so no joke i would get into the show. I would do my jumping. Jacks put my arms in the air go round replay double check that i was in frame and then go back again. Yes you guys were always learning. So there's a war you if you have a flip camera that you can actually build meals but we didn't have fancy iphones back then. So this hundred and fifty dollars. Sony camera and then as i started to get more things coming on i would have insurance and are actually find people of craigslist. That's where i found most of my employees. Because i have much money at the beginning to help so i started to get people who would do things like my cleaning and my laundry so that i could spend time on that so it was like. Where can i navigate my time. Where is it best spent. And what can i delegate to other people with the money that i have like that sits like what do you have and use that phospholipids. Six years of having this company. I now have a full app team. I have somebody that does my emails. I have a chief business officer. I have a video an editor a personal assistant. Somebody puts all the input in the app. And has that runs my social media and mound. My mom is also working for me. So like i have like nine ten people that a part of my team but at the beginning i did everything i edited did. The blogs did the calendar. Absolutely everything and as things got better. I've been able to bring more people on at a different level. So okay she craigslist. So what did you do run on ad on craigslist. Or he just started surfing people on the job descriptions and setting the messages in. How did you know even how to lead them. You know what i mean like. That's like all right now. we're i. This was hilarious. This more. No kidding this is talk about the flip. The camera thing. I had the flip the camera moment this morning. I'm driving down the street. And i own a virtual system company fifty voice. Okay i own want. And i literally. I'm driving down the street. And i'm talking to the woman who is running dot company. 'cause i don't run that company at all. I have one meeting a week. And i don't run the company and i said wait a minute as a as a running strategy for that committed. Why is my company. The other company hardcore business. Why are we looking for social media. People to post are to put my social media. Team is like all of a sudden decide to be trainers and they're all gone right and there's all happened like the last six weeks and so i find myself postings or outdated like eight figure company and i'm back to posting right and i go. Why am i looking for a virtual assistant. Why don't you go find me. Virtual system works. That would be great for this job and so you know sometimes the common sense is in common and you know one of the things i think you probably develop skills on is like Like okay we find them on craigslist or wherever. And how do you get over the hump of not knowing how to lead them or what to ask them to do so for me. I've done everything in my business. So i knew how to set up even the web stuff. I knew how to write a blog. I learned all the skills myself then. I put an ad out honestly. It was for like an intern. Like hey social media person needs how with you know inputting blogs or whatever was the i was doing. I basically wrote my own job description of what i needed. Help with like you need any experience because at the time the people that i was hiring work. Twenty twenty one twenty two. Because i couldn't afford to pay them. You know somebody who was thirty five and had ten years of experience in like managing a team. So i like she learned all the skills myself i would put an ad out and then i would meet them nor at my house but like a nice cafe because it looked better right. So i do these interviews and i have interviewed. I've really got it down. At the beginning. I was interviewing like ten fifteen people a day for two days straight instead of just doing a quick zun things like oh. It's right in front of us. Why don't you just young paul with them because you know in the first i believe ten seconds if this is going to be the right person for you like with. It's just a feeling and for me. It didn't matter about how much experience they had. It was if i liked you and if we connected and if we gelled so like great i like you. You're a cool person. I'm gonna have you come in and then we're going to do an internship so for a couple of weeks just to see if you've got it and you know we're right fit. I'm gonna teach you these skills that i know. Then y'all gonna do it tell. Show tried to tell them what to do. Show them how to do it with them. Let go off and do it themselves and so we just things that i knew to how to teach them and you know this was thanks to a made and things always perfect. But it's better to have people doing eighty percents of you rather than to do absolutely everything because you never be out of scale and you won't be able to

What Happened To Berlin After the Second World War?

"The end of world war two signaled and unsure future for the defeated germany. Between the alta and potsdam peace conferences it was decided to split germany into four allied zones the eastern part of the country going to the soviet union to control and the western parts going to the united states britain and eventually france west germany was technically the boondocks republik deutschland or federal republic of germany and east germany was the jewish democratic republic german democratic republic or gd are despite berlin sitting entirely in the eastern part of the country. And i constantly have to remind myself. That berlin was nowhere near the east west divide. The city was also divided into similar zones. The mere existence of west berlin a conspicuously capital city deep within the communist east germany quote stuck like a bone in the soviet throat according to soviet leader nikita khrushchev so tenuous where the relations between the east and west that russia began plotting to drive the us britain and france out of berlin for good in nineteen forty eight. A soviet blockade of west berlin was set up blocking off all rail and road access in an effort to starve the western allies out of the city. In one of the most dramatic standoffs in the history of the cold war the berlin blockade saw the us and its allies supplying their sectors of the city from the air known as the berlin airlift. The allied nations flew in more than two point. Three million tons of food fuel and other supplies over the course of a year until the soviets finally gave up an the blockade things. Were relatively calm for a while. But in the late nineteen fifties. The soviets noticed a trend. Developing people saw how life on the capitalist side was recovering faster than life on the communist side. Not to mention there were a lot fewer spies keeping tabs on regular folks on the western side and people began to emigrate. This was especially true of doctors. Scientists and skilled professionals resulting in a serious brain drain in the east got worse year. Over year khrushchev ordered the east german government to stop the flow of emigrants for good on the night of the twelfth nineteen sixty one in one night barbed wire barriers blockade and even some sections of brick and mortar wall were constructed. It was later reinforced multiple times to become an impenetrable twelve footer. Three point seven meter high concrete wall. Roughly one hundred miles or one hundred and sixty one kilometer. Long complete with no-man's-land. Landmines guard dogs guard towers and checkpoints the relatively fluid border which had until that point allowed some sixty thousand east germans to commute daily to good paying jobs in the west visit. Family and friends attend soccer games and so on was gone with no warning. Whatever side of the border you went to sleep on on august twelve. That was where you stayed for the next twenty eight years. This opposing structure didn't stop people from trying to make a great escape to the west. Roughly one hundred and seventy one people. Some of them defecting soviet soldiers lost their lives trying to cross the border but over five thousand more succeeded and some of them got really creative with it but the first person to cross that foreboding line just hopped over it when the wall was three days old much of it was not actually a wall at all but sections of barb wire fence though with soldiers and police to enforce it one of those was eighteen year old. Conrad shuman stationed at the corner of bernauer. Stresa and opener stresa. He might have been young but he could tell which way the wind was blowing. He wanted out of the gdr like now he pays his feet nervously while chain smoking and occasionally pushing down the barbed wire coil. It was only two feet high. While the other guards were distracted by a gathering crowd shuman swapped out his loaded. Submachine gun for an unloaded and therefore lighter one at four. Pm shoe inflict away. His cigarette took a running start and deathly leapt over the barrier dropping. His gun and just leaving it. As he was whisked into a waiting west german police car a west german journalist captured the leap to freedom in what would become one of the most famous images of the wall until nineteen eighty nine. The west loves shuman but many of the people he left behind considered him to be a lowly traitor even after he was reunited with his family after the fall of the wall a generation later many people still shunned him as a deserter. Shuman was the first soldier from the national people's army to escape. But it's estimated that twenty seven hundred east. German soldiers and policemen followed his example. If someone had turned your home into a prison then you should treat it like a prison and start digging a tunnel in nineteen sixty four thirty students from west berlin spent several months digging a four hundred and seventy six foot or one hundred and forty five meter long tunnel tell people in the east escape one assumes they had to crawl to freedom because the tunnel was only about three feet high less than forty eight hours after it was finished the stasi the german border patrol discovered it but not before fifty seven men women and children had managed to escape. Which i assume is why. It's referred to as tunnel fifty seven

'A Death Sentence': US Prisons and COVID-19

"People are some of the most vulnerable took over 19 since March, researchers say more than 1600. People in jails and prisons have died of the disease, and tens of thousands have been infected. Some states have started to vaccinate people behind bars while others have not. And we're gonna look now at how this is playing out in three states. Alison Cherry is with Colorado Public radio and she joins us from Denver. Conrad Wilson is with Oregon Public Broadcasting, and he's in Portland. Joining us from Boston is dead Backer with W. B. You are good to have all three of you here. Hi. Hi. Hello, Dev. I want to start with you. In Massachusetts. Your state included prisoners in the first phase of its covert 19 vaccine plan. What was the rationale for that? Well, we know that the virus transmits quickly in correctional settings in the risk of contracting the virus and dying from it are much higher inside prisons and jails compared with outside. So in deciding to vaccinate prisoners. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, a Republican, said that correctional settings are no different from other congregate living situation, such as shelters and group homes where people are living in Copan close quarters and the virus can easily spread. So here's what he said last month when he explained why prisoners were included in the first phase. Our facilities are congregated facilities and we need to make sure that the people who work there and the people who live there because of the possibility of outbreak that that should be a place. We focus early in this exercise. The governor says it's strong public health policy because it's not just vaccinating prisoners. Workers are getting the vaccine to any pointed out. There are lawyers to go in and out of prisons in jail's medical workers, visitors those who provide programming, so the states thinking is that offering vaccines and correctional settings will help prevent the spread in the community. And so far, how is the vaccine rollout going in jails and prisons in Massachusetts officials say it's going smoothly, but it appears that a lot of people are not taking it. Court documents in particular shows that about a third of prisoners in more than half of prison workers have not received the vaccine. Now. That number does not include workers who may have been vaccinated elsewhere. So some correctional facilities are holding vaccine education sessions to encourage people to get the shop. Okay, let's turn now to Oregon More than 40 prison inmates have died after testing positive for covert 19 in that state. So Conrad give us a sense of what's happening with vaccines there now. Almost 7000 inmates have been vaccinated. That's more than half of the state's prison population. Many of those inmates have received their second dose, prison officials say, but vaccinating this many inmates this soon wasn't something Oregon health officials were willing to do on their own. Took litigation from a group of inmates on din order from a federal judge here in Portland. Basically, the inmates argued Oregon's vaccination plan didn't treat them like others living in nursing homes and other congregate care facilities where the vaccine has been administered. Your state representative General Bynum. She's a Democrat and chairs the Oregon House Judiciary Committee. I didn't understand how our adults in custody, we're any different from any other group in a congregant care setting. And I certainly don't believe that a prison sentence is a death sentence. The judge's ruling at the beginning of this month force the state to offer inmates vaccines immediately, So that's why about half of all prison inmates have been vaccinated. Let me jump in here. This is Alison and Denver Advocates here wish that that would have happened in Colorado that court ruling con artist is talking about in Oregon. Is something lawyers here have been trying to use as a tool to get inmates vaccines, and I know there's been a back and forth over this in Colorado. Alison tell us more about what's been happening there. Yeah. Democratic Governor Jared Pulis hasn't prioritized inmates at all. And initially he did in one of the early plans, but then Was called out for that by some prominent conservatives, You know, people saying, Do you want the murderer to get the vaccine before your next door neighbor and he was apparently sensitive to that, and so he removed prisoners from the lists and put them in just the regular population. So in other words, he's making no distinction that these people are in a group setting a 70 year old prisoner would be prioritized. A 70 year old non prisoner and so on. So the majority of prisoners are not being prioritized. I will note that prison staff has been prioritized in those vaccines are being administered now. So tell us more about the pressure that Colorado's governor has been under Well. He's gotten a lot of pushback for his decision to not prioritize inmates for vaccine for getting a vaccine, and he's also been sued. He has thought that lawsuit successfully so far. Rebecca Wallace is an A C l U lawyer, she says. Public health officials have been universal in saying that people in groups heading should be prioritized for a vaccine and governor pull. It has actually not only ignored that guidance but rejected that guidance from his own Colorado Department of Public Health on by think it really stand out because he's such a data driven individual in his other decisions. I'm curious. Early in the pandemic, there was pressure to release inmates to create social distance inside facilities that were often crowded. Have vaccination efforts change those conversations in the states that you're all in? Well in Massachusetts. Despite the early vaccination of prisoners, there has been little movement to release people. The fight over that continues mostly through litigation. There are pending lawsuits, but with so many prisoners getting vaccinated now, it does weaken the argument for big releases. Yeah, and in Colorado. Interestingly, the state's prison population has gone down by a few 1000 people since the start of the pandemic, But state officials attribute that almost 100% to the fact that there were no no criminal jury trials last year at all in 2020, so there's this massive backlog in the States Criminal justice system. So you've brought us three very different stories about policies around vaccinating, incarcerated people in three states that are very different across the country. How does this fit in with what we are seeing across the US nationally, Conrad Well, every state is really dealing with this a little bit differently. And, you know, really, This is another symptom showing a lack of a national strategy. Despite the risks, it's another way of, you know, also showing how inmates are marginalized by society. And this isn't just about those who are incarcerated. In a recent report by the nonpartisan Prison Policy Initiative, researchers found that there were more new cases and counties that have large incarcerated populations.

But we definitely don't me. I don't know how many more the world needs. And i'm not really sure what. Us ps unique selling points. There are if we have too many more celebrity cardi right now through zeta-jones with her mar inducing video. Yes with her eyeliner. Like i just. I'm just not really sure how much more we can add to the conversation right now before it becomes like a parody. Do you remember all the fragrance lines came out like the end of the two thousands. It was like every celebrity became drink. Eventually yeah yeah i just. i'm nervous. Were getting to that point. Yeah i i. I agree with you and i think in general i found my job as somebody. The Michelle Carter Case

"In westport massachusetts with his mother and sisters that day. Conrad's mother lynne. Never suspected he was considering suicide. She knew he'd seemed presley but as they walked along the shore she and conrad joked about the bathing suits they saw. They discussed his scholarship to fitchburg state university. Conrad took his sister's out for ice cream. Lynn leader said. I thought he was doing great before. I continue with conrad psychology. Please note that. I am not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist but i have done a lot of research for the show. According to the american foundation for suicide prevention one of the warning signs of suicide is a sudden improvement in mood. medical news. Today has reported that this mood shift may occur because the afflicted individual feels relieve that they've come to a decision conrad perhaps seemed calmer and more relaxed to his family because he felt glad in the moment that he was nearing the end the looming decision hadn't been made even as conrad spent the day with his family. He continued text. Michelle for most of that afternoon. Conrad shell that. He felt worried and stressed but he was still committed to going through with his plan around six o'clock pm. Conrad told his mother. He was going out to visit his arianna. She asked if he'd be home for dinner. He told her that he didn't think so. He also texted michelle to tell her that he was leaving. Conrad drove to a k. Mart parking lot and fairhaven massachusetts. He sat in his truck as it slowly filled with carbon monoxide. Just before six thirty he called michelle and they spoke for forty three minutes before disconnecting at seven twelve pm. Michelle called him back. She was on the phone with him for another forty seven minutes until conrad cell phone ran out of batteries. There are no recordings of these phone calls and it's not clear what they talked about but later michelle would confess to a friend that at one point conrad got scared and left the truck to get some fresh air. Michelle told him to get back inside. Conrad listened to her. He got back in the truck then remained there until he died when they hung up at around eight pm. Michelle immediately texted to friends and told them she was afraid. Conrad had killed himself. She neglected to mention that she'd been in on his plan or that she had encouraged him to do it afterward. Michelle tried calling conrad again. The call went straight to voicemail. She continued to call him more than twenty times and received no response. She texted him asking if he was okay after months of conrad suicidal talk. She seemed unconvinced that he might actually be dead eventually. Michelle tried texting. Conrad sister camden asking if she knew where. Conrad was camden. Assume that conrad was at their father's house and michelle apparently believed her. She immediately texted. Conrad i thought you actually did it. She also told him that since he hadn't gone through with suicide. Maybe it was time for him to finally get help. of course. conrad didn't respond the next morning july thirteenth. When conrad didn't return home his mother reported him missing to the police and his family went out looking for him that afternoon. Police discovered conrad's truck parked in the k. Mart with his body inside they also found his phone sitting next to him. Although conrad's death was not at that time considered suspicious. Police decided to confiscate his phone. They thought it might give them answers as to why conrad had taken his own life. In the meantime conrad's family grieved loss on july nineteenth. They held his funeral. Which michelle attended. Some of the family members recalled that she acted oddly. Asking conrad sisters for some of his belongings and even requesting to keep some of his ashes. Conrad's friend arianna said. She sat close to where the family area was. I always described her. Seen as the grieving widow. She was constantly sobbing. She made a scene that evening after the funeral. Michelle texted conrad's phone and made her feel better to text him even though

"Welcome welcome. Welcome to yet. Another edition of coffee with conran this is conrad from conrad rocks dot net s my blog. Check it out now you know my passion is for you to have a spiritual relationship with biblical jesus. Today we're talking about facebook post where i asked. My audience is the name of jesus being blasphemed because of our behavior is christians. I had some really good thought provoking comment on that post in. I wanted to share them with my podcast audience today. So following is a podcast where extracted the audio from facebook. Live the link to all of this will be in the show notes and without further ado. Here's the podcast is conrad from conrad. Rocks dot net rocks of revelation being poured out to you. My passion is for you to have a spiritual relationship with the biblical jesus. This dislike broadcast here on. Facebook is a result of something that occurred to me. Honestly pless night about two or three nights ago. I was praying. You know when you can't sleep. You need to do something productive. Think about whatever's pure and holy or sometimes we just need to be still and know that he is god in when we know no is gonna go. That's in the greek right but it means to have an intimate relationship. Sometimes we just need to be still and wait. It came to me in the spirit about the world. Blaspheming the name of jesus because of our behaviors christians now that began in the spirit. And what i did is i made a mistake. My flash wanted to run away with that. Good morning stephen barrett from holy fire japan. They'll be sure and follow him. He's an american christian missionary in japan spreading the gospel to japan which is only one percent christian. He's in he's in the comments so anyway what. I began in the spirit. I think there's a scripture in relations talks about you know what you began in the spirit. Did you try to end in the flash. And what i did is i took that original inspiration in spirit inspiration what that is in my flash got a hold of it. You know Yeah christians are doing stupid stuff. And they're blast the world's last name in the name of jesus and i really didn't realize that but what i started doing i started taking. I was gonna make a really good. Podcast i was gonna make really good podcast. I was getting audio clips. That was taken from youtube videos of what worldly people were thinking about christianity. I had some good clips. Very very compelling clips. Good morning jenny. I had some very compelling clips that basically. we're making fun. The world was making fun of what some of these preachers would say or do or the failed prophecies in and so forth. Just they were just really hot and all over christianity. And then i was getting down to the point to where i was going to record the podcast and i had to check in my spirits. We need to know the difference between the spirit and the flesh the spirit and the soul right. The word of god is it divides us under the soul and the spirit cuts. You can cut apart the bones and marrow. We need to know the difference in. I think one of the big problems in christianity today is. We're not spending enough time alone with the holy spirit. We're not Fine following him. The way the bible instructs you know jesus says this holy spirit the spirit of truth will guide us into all truth and this is a chronological thing and then he will also show us things to come in when he shows us things to come. You know something we get into dream. Something we get in louisville board. There's something being quaking in our spare at the holy. Spur davis in it comes to pass very quickly. You know or sometimes leads. But that's how we develop that relationship so right before his about record this podcast. I had the audio clips already. In i realized that hours making the problem worse. I was without to make the problem worse and i didn't wanna do that so i wanna say something else. You know one of the things that we do as christians. Is we eat our own. I mean when when when someone disagrees with us. One of the things that can happen is we can just have this flesh -ly tendency to clobber them. Right gas from the flash guys. That's from the flash is not from the holy spirit. We're not loving our neighbor. Jesus says it people will know that we're his disciples by the love that we have one for another. And i want you to consider this for a second. I want you to think long about one. I'm about to say we flippantly say oh. The jews missed their messiah. Okay you know we kind of say it real off handily. But i want you to understand. The jews memorized the torah starting at age. Six you know if they wanted to be a rabbi in. Did it up to thirteen years old and here. We are a lot of us. Barely reading the bible twice. Were saying that. Yeah and what you understand. The jews that jesus prophesied he says there's going to be some that kill us talking to his disciples thinking they do god service in in what it was is. They did not have the holy spirit. Paul the apostle. Paul the apostle paul before he was the apostle paul was zealous for god in his own mind right. He thought he was doing the right thing. He was persecuting christians and then he had an encounter in if you relations chapter one which is probably the first chronological book. If you look at our books in the new testament. They're they're in order by size. Not chronology but he talks about his relationship with the spirit of jesus and how jesus disabled him. But we're we're so quick to judge.

The Basilisks Stare feat. Nabiyah Be & Evan Whitten

"Once upon a time there was an armourer named martin. Martin spent his days working with metal using it to create glistening swords sparkling shields and full suits of yes glittering armor and everyone agreed that of all the arms in the city. Martin was the greatest. Oh you should see. The sword mar made for me last week. It schumer's like moonlight on the water. Well you should see the shield he made for me. It glistened like the stars. I don't doubt it. The suit of armor he made for me is so shining so bright. It's reflects i chimera. Martin lived with his children natalia. And conrad in a tiny house at the edge of town. Martin's shop was in the basement talia and conrad loved traipsing down the steps to watch their father work i. He retired on his thick leather apron. Then he would heat up his medal into glow to fiery yellowish orange and grew soft and bendable after that he would use a heavy iron hammer to forge the metal into all different shapes. Then you would let the metal cool and he polished rubbing and scrubbing until indeed. It reflected like a mirror one summer morning. Martin told natalia conrad that he would be gone for the day on business. Listen you to. I need to deliver a full suit of armor to a customer who lives far off in the countryside. He turned to natalia natalia. You're the oldest. So i want you to look after your little brother. While i'm gone of course father i'd be happy to conrad rolled his eyes. Oh come on father. I don't need my older sister to babysit. I'm a big kid now. I know you're a big kid. Conrad and getting bigger every day. But for now you'll do. Your sister says hokey dokie. I have a long trip ahead of me. Need to skedaddle. Have fun today. My dears martin kissed his children goodbye and out the door as he disappeared down the street. Natalia turned to conrad with twinkling eyes. I have an idea little brother. The circus is in town. They're performing in the market square right in the middle of the city. Would you like to see it. Conrad's face broke into a grin. You bet i liked to see the circus. Let's go when natalia and conrad reached the market square. They were greeted by all sorts of enchanting sites. Agile walkers tiptoeing towering tightropes graceful acrobats swinging from flying trapezes plus nimble-fingered jugglers funny face clowns and hearted riders standing breath and tall on the backs of gleaming galloping horses during a break in the show. Natalia and conrad wandered around the square and saw vendors selling all sorts of goodies toys. Books candies but then. Hey natalia something else caught conrad's look over there. Look conrad pointed toward a jagged heap of stones in a shadowy narrow alley off the square. There's the old stone building to one worthy. Say the bacilus cliffs. Natalia felt her blood run. Cold everyone in town knew the legend of the basilisk. It was said that the bacilus kept the body of a dragon. The head of a rooster tail of a serpent down in the dink dark cellar of the old stone building. The bacilus stood guard over a magnificent treasure and if you stared into the bacilus glowing red eyes you would immediately turn to stone so sister conrad's mouth lifted into a mischievous smile. Are you thinking what i'm thinking. Natalia's is grew wide. Wait a minute brother. Your not thinking of actually going in there are you. What about the bassil. Ihsc bacilus sh- massa lisk don't be such a 'fraidy cat sys like dads said. I'm a big kid now. And i'm going to prove it

Ellen Pompeo Hints at Grey's Anatomy End, Khloe Defends Kim's 40th B-Day Trip Amid Backlash

"It's time for some daily. Pop Morgan. Is out today suggested I joined once again by actress kitchen night polio. Thank you for joining us from Georgia. Loving for having me. Thank you. says. They do even. Just in case. Well, thank you very awesome. I want some. Okay. One of your favorite TV shows may be ending grey's anatomy has been on for fifteen years and Ellen pompeo just made a very shocking confession about what is next she tells variety. We don't know when the show is really ending it, but the truth is this year could be at this is also the last year of Ellen's contract. Okay. So Justin. Do you think they should end the show now while they're on top because people are still loving the show. Grey's anatomy is Kinda Sorta like young and the restless in the sense that like it can go forever and could miss a whole year. I'm back watched two episodes and then be caught up again you know what I mean. Yeah and the answer minds right and almost reminds me of the time. Do you remember when the hills was I going off Air Lauren Conrad was going to walk out the church and it was going to finish and she thought the curtains were going. To close and all of a sudden kristen cavalieri walks in and they revamp did I think Ellen pump? POMPEO is gray but the show can survive without her but can't survive without Shonda see. So Shonda, of course, just send them big NETFLIX's deal and it's to my understanding from what I was reading that she is literally parting ways with ABC completely, which may mean she's not GonNa have our hands on this show as much as she has in the past maybe not at all. And without shining once you've created show. Yeah. But once you've created a show, it's your show and I mean who's changed things happen we don't know how her contract is structured it could just be humming net flicks. One hundred percent but do I mean I think ABC has Shonda rhimes was so early in her career I don't think any see would have given Shonda. rhimes so much ownership over that show where she could move it to ABC but I think that Shonda rhimes, this voice, her blood, her sweat is so in this show that yes if shot arrives went to Netflix she will still get her coins from this show and she will let Iran. We'll be run by somebody else. That's does her voice. Okay. So listen I know somebody who used to write for how to get away with murder and he told me that his job was literally pointless because he says we were instructed to come in with ideas and we always did we came in and we said here's this. Here's that here's this but it always went with whatever Shauna had envisioned. Thank you for your ideas. Those are good and all but. We're going to do this. Appreciates the help but what did you say? No I said well, clearly, she has something you know I know it can be frustrating for someone to shoot down your ideas but the longevity of her career and all the shows that she is there's a reason why they've been successful and I know the Debbie Allen has been doing a lot with race mad at me. You know. You never know she still no matter she goes to net she still you know that's still her show. They can't take that away even if she starts creating another network. One hundred percent you know what? I am all about being petty and I heard about the drama shameless ABC for not giving Shonda that extra fast pass at Disneyland Shame on you. But if I'm Shonda RHIMES, I don't give y'all keep the show going on still get the cash I'm not gonNA. You know bitch and fuss about it. I have two kids got college should be four and I love living fancy like Oprah. We'll see what happens but I know there's some diehard grey's anatomy fans that are just not ready to say goodbye yet. So we will have to wait and see okay Khloe Kardashian has a message for the people who are hitting on Kim's birthday trip. She told Ellen Degeneres. She knows this year has been very frustrating for everyone but there Was a good thing. I did hear that people were upset that we all went out of town but also its her fortieth, and this is something that she really wanted to do for us. It was such a nice thing and being there with all the precautions and everything that we took and being there and how grateful everybody was for the tourism aspect of it and how. So many people said that we were their first party or guests that they've had in months and what it's done like for them to be able to pay their bills or to do. So for their family I mean just hearing those. Yeah. Messages when we were there, it was really a we felt really good and we felt so safe. So safe Wow. You know I knew the minute that first photo went. Oh, here we go. It's GonNa be a firestorm and For me I went to Cynthia Bailey's wedding in Atlanta and a lot of people were giving flack about that I thought about it for ten seconds and when it's a milestone, a wedding or fortieth birthday or something. Of that magnitude, it's hard. Skip it. It's hard to say or I'll just wait until next year. So I completely understand why there was so much backlash but I also understand why you wanted to continue in go on with it because you know sometimes. Life Yeah Kisha. And and the truth is that you know they did everything I think unfortunately, the Kardashian. Sometimes are just a position where you're kind of damned if you do damned if you don't. "Of the stuff when someone gets deliverance, they should get rid of the stuff that that brought it in to right get rid of the door as that's right. That's absolutely right. That's absolutely right. Yeah. I you know one of the. Re One of the first books I ever read on deliverance was they show expel demons by. Derek Prince and it was so eye-opening to me to you know to really begin to take a look at how the how the you know. Now, the Kingdom of darkness operates but. One of the things that he talked about. In in his book was, how is uncle had passed away? And his uncle had. Been in the military in China for years and years and years I guess when he came back he you know he had different things that he brought over just kinda like that faster and when he passed away Dirk, prince inherited these these tapestries. From China be you know they`re Beautiful beautiful tapestries and and. On these tapestries were like Chinese dragons and the atom hanging on the wall and he? And as soon as he brought them into his home, it wasn't long after he started. Experiencing crazy crazy amounts of depression and eventually you know the Holy Spirit revealed to them that there was demons that were attached to those tapestries and. he burned them and he got deliverance and he was immediately set free immediately separated. So that was the first time I realized. You know that there's things attached to the things that we bring to our home. So pastors need to teach the people about you know the the spirit world because there's because absolutely when somebody comes to Christ and somebody goes through deliverance, you know we should absolutely be cleaning our house out of you know all these demonic things these two. Things the antic music satanic movies You know different different things that you know our new agey a cult tick. So absolutely right. They burned their books I think it's x said I can't remember which chapter but once they came to Christ they burned all their occult books. You know. So yeah, you need to get rid of that stuff. Okay. So do you have any more comments? I mean we we we did pretty good Got A, lot of questions out of the way. And what? What other comments Well. You know I again. You know I I always I always preface this this stuff you know when you know when it comes to these hot button topics like you'll gotta and Rakia and you know different things like that you know. I. The reason why I wrote a disclaimer at the top of that post, I wrote I'm not trying. To Spoil Anybody's fun of not trying to ruin your day I'm not trying to ruin your kids lives I don't WanNa. That guy. Conrad doesn't WanNa be that guy that you know that that makes you angry. You know. But the reason why we're we're we're sharing things that were sharing is because of the things that that we've seen like I, you know I've seen people doing deliverance every time. Every time it comes to hell wean or things surrounding how I see humans come out of. So I'm not. I'm not telling you these things to spoil your fun but just to give you a warning you know I wanna be I wanna be the guy that everybody likes I wanna be the guy that you know. But but the reality is we're dealing with you know this is we're dealing with spiritual things here. We're dealing with demonic things and if we knock on the devil's door. You will come in. And stop playing with the devil. Anyway, brother, this is a great interview. What link you want me to share with the audience for people to follow you would it be your facebook? Favorite one. Yeah they can. They can follow my facebook or they can Go you know go to the website www dot separate weekends dot com came in set free weekends on this post I'm looking at it right now two, hundred, ninety, three shares people. I mean, this is this is awesome and you said I, don't WanNa be that guy to make people mad or anything, but I have this. This drive. To say, look, we can't ignore this part of scripture because my people perish for lack of knowledge we can't just blaze through this and ignore it because it'll bite you. You know that's the reason. I like people just ignore this Halloween thing and then they pay the price later. That's why I wanNA talk about it. Yeah. Anyway, it's customary brother to have the guests praise out. Right. All right. So father we come to you now or in God we thank you I thank you father for for Conrad in this Ministry, Ministry of Truth Lord. Father I just I. Just Pray God that that Lord that you would that you would reveal to the people that hear this or just the dangers of this and and God as we. We know that this is just kind of like the tip of the iceberg bother word. I pray that you would lead these men and these women to do their own research to to to seek out you know understanding concerning this father and I got an just pray father that you would lead people out of this out of this This this ritual that they've been a part of were that you'd open their eyes or God. "Participation in Halloween we can't even dress up as a kid you know as a shortcake. Out Even. that. Just. To be doing, you're saying, don't do nothing at all. You know that's where people are you know people are. Where people are torn you know personally like my wife and I like Personally, like my wife says. My wife says, we're handing anything out you know and me I've been like, well, if they're gonNA come to my door because I'm an evangelist. You know. So if they're gonNA come to my door, I'm going to drop a gospel track in their in their bag. You know give them something of the. Gospel. Not You know. So but we've we've sided with my we usually leave. You know we leave enough for those two hours take our kids somewhere get them chick-fil-a or something that they wanna eat and so but personally, we don't. We don't participate in the day. We don't participate in the day at all but I don't think it's a it's a it's a bad thing if people are coming to your door. You know to drop to drop something of the Gospel into their little back. You're not really participating. If you do that, you're just handing them a gospel track and they're knocking on your door. Yeah it's it's easy evangelism and save you the trouble walking the streets. Ain't going to them they're coming to you. Yeah there's also some Scriptures Jeremiah ten. I know it's Old Testament, but it's the same God he's. Not the ways of the heathen don't do their stuff. occasions five eleven have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them reprove them. Percents five twenty two Epstein, all appearance of evil. In Paul Talks about how about this argument you know where Paul says I'm not GonNa 'cause my brother to stumble. So when we do that people are watching us, I think they're getting mixed signals on what Christianity is if we're participating in it, aren't we making our brother? Potentially, stumble. Well ABS- absolutely, and people aren't GonNa like this, but it's a satanic event. It's a, it's a satanic you've been. You know we I see these churches. You Know I. I. Know that I I was church for years. They would have what's called a harvest party. On on that whole Sunday whatever whatever they were fall on and and basically you know they would tell everybody you know they tell all the kids come dressed up. You know and we're GONNA WE'RE GONNA. Give you candy and You know we never participated though that was the week that we didn't go to church you know and and it's Were they would call it a harvest part. It's like you're okay you're dressing prowling and you're handing the kids. But it's harvest party. You know and it's like basically what it says when they see the church, then what they're saying is this is this is a okay to to do this. You know. So yeah. Yeah. They don't even realize they don't like the churches are ignorant. You know I mean what does the Bible say Bible says that that if we if we engage in in cult activity, we open ourselves up to a curse. And yet we're bringing it. Bringing. It into the church. With trucker tree in you know all that and they you know and. It's like they say, well, it's our. It's our big outreach. You know and they don't come back after that. They don't I've been involved in combat. Yeah. They don't come back. You know my thing and I think you'll agree with me Conrad is why don't we teach people how to do evangelism? We won't have to rely on the big we don't have to. We wouldn't have to rely on us to. Teach our teach our people to live a lifestyle evangelism and and that way you know and forgo Halloween saying you know don't change the sign I. Mean when you change the sign on the church is Kinda like expecting the crops to sprout legs and walk into the barn you know that's not evangelism Ayman. A couple of things too. I did a trunk or treat thing and it started raining and then all the sudden we're inside the Church building in I'm looking at all these witches and people come into the church on like on you know distance doesn't seem right and then I was going to this church one time and listen to this dude. This this pastor he had idols in the back of the sanctuary. Now you're going to go why would a guy have idols in the back of a sanctuary? Well, you know how missionaries travel all over the world and then they bring relics where they came from. So anyway, I walked by these things and I'd get a headache and every once in a while, you see like a black demon popout. So one time I talked to the pastor I'm like, Hey, you know you really need to get rid of these and he didn't. So there's people are just people are just ignorant of some of these spiritual, very real I mean you can get sick from this stuff. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Absolutely, like that's one of the parts of the post there. where I wrote about You know the different people you know people that bring the you know like these objects into their houses they set these you know they set up you know maybe tombstones in their front yard. You know Greek you know big spiders they set up you know zombies and. Witches and ghosts which are actually demons You know they they bring the they litter their yard with with these things they bring them into their houses and you know Christians we we have to realize that these are demonic items. There's demons that are attached to these items and you are bringing them onto your property and you're bringing them into your house. And whether you realize it or not they are affecting you they're affecting you in ways that you don't even realize, and again, we just chalk it up to the pressures of life for you know. This garbage is like it's it's just it's just not good. You know and it's like and another thing you know it's like if Jesus were walking the Earth Jesus had a house. would. Jesus litter his front yard with ghosts and witches would Jesus celebrate Halloween what does Jesus think of Halloween and that's one of the catches because they're like, oh, Jesus Love L. Week because he goes everybody that fun. No. Other aboueen it's witchcraft. And you've got to get rid.

"Welcome welcome. Welcome to another edition of coffee with Conrad. I'm Conrad from Conrad Rocks Dot Net. That's my blog. Today, we're having an interview with Kevin Reardon and you're gonNA find the interviews that I do with people on my blog under the interview label it Conrad Dot Net. Now, you know my passion is for you to have a spiritual relationship with the biblical Jesus and when we have that spiritual relationship with Jesus, it's pretty obvious that we should not be committing spiritual adultery by playing around with the devil in his minions. In this podcast, it's not about why Halloween is wrong. If you follow me, you probably already know that Halloween is wrong. It has its roots in a demonic pagan origin, and for some reason, the church is trying to baptize it. Today we're GONNA be talking to Kevin reardon about a facebook post he did where a lady needed deliverance because she participated in Halloween. How to demons get in why do we do these things that we do in the church? Without further ado here's the interview with Kevin Reardon. Na. Conrad from Conrad Rocks Dot Net in boy do I have a treat for you today on the phone right now I have Kevin Rewritten. We're GONNA be talking about the spiritual dangers of. Christians. In Halloween. How's it going, Kevin? Good Conrad good to be with you again. Yeah. I've interviewed you a few times. People love y you have to say brother and your wife. I mean it's it's awesome. I was looking at Halloween. I did a little search on facebook Kevin bearden and Halloween just to find this post that we're going to be talking about. But I see that you posted several times about this, and this is a real serious subject. But for some reason, it's highly ignored. Why do you think that is? Well because it's like any any send, you know if you if you don't WanNa, stop doing it you find ways to justify it. You know well, there's this point. How did you come across this Halloween thing I mean 'cause did you ever even as a child celebrate Halloween? Yeah when I was when I was a kid growing up by I would trick or treat, and then my parents came to Christ and when I was about six probably eight years old they like the door on it and I mean I like. As an eight year old like revolted. Like I wasn't happy about it but that was just the way it was at my house and so. You know growing up you know I You know when I came to Christ, my wife and I. We we just decided like. I mean my parents they taught me how he was all what it was really all about and so when I. Really came back to Christ and you know we got married. We sorta kids. You know we're just we just made up our minds that this isn't something that we're going. In right and that's one of the arguments that that people make is, what are we going to do for the kids? So the churches now do trunk or treat and stuff like that. But were you emotionally scarred when you were a kid and you stopped? Well. You know. I felt like I. Felt like I felt like I was mostly I felt like it was it was like child abuse at the time I since pulled my poll by self together and I'm I think I'm doing all right right now. So when you when did you come to the realization? That the participation Christians you know dressing up as witches and so forth. When did you get that cognitive? When did you go? This is definitely wrong. Well, you know when one of the things Konrad that? Like even before I had you know before I kids and all that stuff is like when back in two thousand and three? Okay. I started having panic anxiety attacks like I was I was struck by. Struck by fear you know and And it was and it was horrible and so it was kind of like one of these things where like I was set free from I was you know eventually got set me free from that? But it was like you know I started. I'm just thinking about Halloween and it's like. You know. Would I participate in this event that glorifies? This thing that I was set free from you know that was like one of the first things like that struck me like that really really struck me. I mean, it was like growing up. I, didn't celebrate Halloween and and I knew you know that it was bad. But it was you know my parents were given me that information. But for me, it was like the realization like I was set free from fear I will never gore by this event or I'll never just stay in this event that glorifies fear you know. So that was really the the first thing and then You know as I began to learn about the Ministry of Deliverance in Demons and kind of study like could be a cult and different. You know different things like that. You know pertaining to deliverance like I began to realize like what an awful event. How lean actually is? So that's really kind of Yeah well, so you know you're talking about fear and I dealt with panic attacks and I had You Know Night Night Terrors as a kid and so forth, and we know that scripture the Lord hasn't given us a spirit of fear. So that thing creeped in somewhere in you're you're saying that probably Halloween was the case now you mentioned this in your post in if it's okay with you. I'm GonNa read just a few these paragraphs and we'll just talk about him because you make a really good bullet point in each one right? Now here he said he starts off with this I'm going to put the post in the show notes guys you guys can get in on the conversation and everything disclaimer he's got a big disclaimer at the top I don't WanNa make anybody angry paraphrase I'm not out to Spoil People's fun. I feel an obligation is share what I have first hand knowledge of from what I've learned through study but also have seen from the ministry that ministry that I do a few months back while I was doing a deliverance session I was dealing with the Colt. And commanding out the demons that gain access through the occult at one point I began to see. One of the women snarling. Yeah I kept on going until the end when Donna had everyone on mute to ask how they were doing the woman who was snarling. Then told me she had suddenly felt rage began to Snarl WanNa, come in the spirit. Spirit that came in through. Halloween. Out She then told me that she loved Halloween loved haunted houses and even worked in one. So you're seeing that she probably was manifesting because of Wing. Oh she definitely. Can't. Zoom calls you do zoom video calls, right? Yeah. Yeah. So just to kind of. Just give you guys a little context. So basically, what we do is we do I do ever deliverance ministry and I have people you know you know either it was either through messenger video or zoom, but basically I.

"Him dot today and you're having coffee with Conrad of Conrad Rocks Dot net you know another person that had some bad s Collagen bad theologies the apostle. Paul. Think about it. He wrote two thirds of the New Testament he we read him today. But how did that come about if you remember Paul was a top theologian He sat at the feet of Gamliel and he was the big guy at the time and people learn from him and we also know that Paul before his road to Damascus encounter. This top theologian was persecuting Christians because he didn't believe. Jesus. Was the Messiah. He was doing things contrary to Jesus. In listen to what Jesus says here in John Sixteen. These things I have spoken on you speak into his disciples that you should not be offended. Will put you out of the synagogues gay the time come with the WHO so ever kill if you will think that he do with God service in these things, they will do unto you because they have not known the father nor me Now we know that the Jews were putting Christians out of the synagogues anybody to confess Christ was going to get kicked out of the synagogue. In Paul was one of those who was killing the disciples of Jesus. Remember he was consenting to the stoning of Stephen Right and he thought he was doing God service. Notice that Jesus says, they'll do these things. Because they don't know the father in this is why I'm saying you bought this why I always say you've got to know God in not just know about him in one of the passages that comes to mind here is how Jesus says he will manifest himself to the believer. In. John Fourteen twenty one. He then half my commandments and keep it them. He it is that love me and he that love me. She'll be loved my father and I will love him in manifest myself to him. Now, we notice that Jesus manifested himself to Paul in Acts Chapter Nine on the road to Damascus. Paul. Was Zealous for the commandments of God but he didn't know the father? In Jesus manifested himself anyway you know you notice how Paul Goes who art thou Lord isn't that interesting? He didn't know the Lore. However after this manifestation. Now,.

"The ministers will give account when they're big numbers for crisis a depart from me I never knew you. So let's Visit Matthew Seven Twenty one through twenty three first second and what does that mean in this is something that is not taught in the church because it's bad for numbers and I don't care about numbers I mean, I do I want a lot of people to get saved but you don't say people by tickling their ears you don't lie them. This is plainly in scripture and this is what it says and this is what he is referring to in Matthew seven twenty one. Listen to this guys listen to this not everyone that Sayeth, unto me. You get that not everyone this says to me. Lord. Lord. Shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven but he that do with the will of my father, which is in heaven many will say to me in that day Lord Lord have we not prophesied in nineteen? Ninety have cast out devils named on many wonderful works and then I will profess to them I never knew you depart from me you that work iniquity. So Greg is talking here about having that born again experience with the holy? Spirit. Okay, we need to have that relationship. We need to know Jesus not just know about them in notice in this passage that he was referring to. He didn't put down the scripture, but I knew what he was referring to is just Colin. Jesus. Lord with your lips does not mean he's Lord of Your Life. Amen thank you for that comment Greg Mickey Sapien West another echoing passage about the church not doing much here. This is a great a great comment the church not being the church churches spend more time on entertaining their members in their own bubble than they do getting out and ministering to those in need a man. Sounds like a comment from a missionary. Doesn't it? Amen so Entertaining remember I had that dream in here comes this comment in my dream that I talked to I was at this banquet table and I'm talking to church members I'm like, why is there an amusement park church is like we're going to the church for amusement. There's this lady called Genus Senior was at one of her meetings of about I don't know five years ago and she said something very interesting. She said you know. In the pentecostal movement that we have right now and I'm paraphrasing like all get out. So please forgive me if I. Don't get it word for word. She's like there's electric cords all throughout the House and then they've got these bare wires right? When these pentecostals they step on that bare wire and they get zapped with electricity, they jump around and they they move and they act all strange. But. The power that's going through the electric cord is designed to get things done is designed to have a vacuum cleaner work is designed to have that iron work is not designed for amusement and jumping around. So I think that fits in with Mickey Sapien wes coming here. Were more into. That fits in with the dream that I had and also the bubble. We're in our bubble. Do you know preaching as K. Russo when Joseph and I go out.

"Most of us get so busy living in this world become weaker in lazy and worldly. We allow our senses to Dole are tolerance to be raised. Before we even realize we've a threshold to be opened in Satan slivers in. So quietly utterly unnoticed in our lives are turned upside down individuals, government schools, churches, businesses. We've allowed quote political correctness unquote to cripple the world the words delivery. God's words aren't to be sugar coated edited, emitted nor softened we've watered down so much of God's word to show kindness to humans from all walks of life. As to not offend or chase them off. We do God an injustice. God said why he said in his word never changes. If one is offended by the word, why does that mean the word must be softened or omitted perhaps prayer for guidance in understanding for the offended is an order editing. God's word in my opinion is not acceptable were spoiled. We have to do better. That's an amazing comment by Angela I wanted to share that with you. and. It does seem like we're watering down. What the Bible clearly says so we can get people to come into the building. Can you imagine you know the Carinthian? Foreign Cater. Paul says, let's turn him over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh. Dude, can you imagine something like that happening in the churches today? No, we don't want to offend them. Let's leave out all this be politically correct and yeah. So that is a very good comment. It's in that facebook posts put the Lincoln the show notes Bobby, capps has a really good comment too. He. Says quote the marrying of the Church in the state, the lack of understanding about being in the world but not of the world, the thinking that being a city on a hill means voting a certain way the trusting in horses and chariots rather than the name of the Lord stuff like that. He refers to several scriptures there. It's Democrats or evil I mean that's the paradigm right. Now Democrats are evil and Republicans or Christians and you know. We're supposed to worry about the word of God we're supposed to worry about the Great Commission. And were seeming to intertwine the too. So that's a very good comment by Bob caps on facebook Elaine. Coppenhagen. Depressing problem in the body of crisis, their wicked ways this is not about individuals shortcomings. It is idolatry. The body of Christ is doing and preachers are so blind that they can't even tell the church what their wicked ways are. Now the reason I included this con- this comment. "They need to be challenged in that so I made it a point to go through people who have been tried and seasoned to know what they're talking about. Right? We need to have track records double-blinded studies that type of thing of things that work or going to end up buying snake oil right in that guy. He goes from town to and disappears and then you're out your money. And I also didn't want to take medicine. Okay, because I don't believe medicine is necessarily. God's prescription, let's put it this way guys prescription is to eat the right food in first place. Well, we messed up we found ourselves in this situation and I look back at my family members and I look back at friends that have taken blood pressure medicine and they tell you can tell by their countenance. They're not doing good. There should be a better approach and as I look back that my panoramic view from a family member's life so forth. I saw that they had a bad diet. They ain't the fried foods. They you know, my dad my uncle and they didn't do too. Well, right and then like I said, watch on Jeopardy of people with the high plant-based whole food diets, the people with the most centurions on the planet in Japan look at the way they eat so I started doing that and what these people said in order to lower blood pressure. One of the things you need to do is cut out caffeine caffeine was a huge problem with me. My podcast is called coffee. With Conrad and it started from when I when I would get to the office at 6:00 in the morning and I have to get up at 4 and I found that I was drinking a pot of coffee off by by noon all by myself. So I had to cut out caffeine. So I drastically cut out caffeine. So I looked for biblical substitution. I kind of think that maybe green team is a good substitution. Right? And I found that could actually, you know, I could function.

Now you're about to hear a podcast where Gary testifies about going through a very rough season in his life. He'd recently lost his wife Nancy bought last year to cancer and he himself was recently diagnosed with cancer. He called me one day and he told me that he had stage 4 cancer and the doctors didn't give him long totally of what we're doing this podcast today because a miracle happened Gary is Alive and Well without further Ado here is a Sky Club podcast interview with evangelist Gary net. Hey everybody, this is Conrad from Conrad rocks. Net and boy. Do I have a truck for you today? Again? I've interviewed Gary Nesbitt evangelist several times on this show. But time we have something amazing. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and told he had six months to live and he's here to say that God had other plans. Did I get that right? Yes, we'll pull them out for the most part. I mean what what you were talking to me? And you said what did you say? Well, then it wasn't it wasn't pancreatic cancer. Totally. It was like it was growing around a front of the pancreas and down into my stomach or around the stomach and May I order order. He's all over the place. But yeah from the mass if they were looking at five of them and shifts, you know, they thought that it was pancreatic cancer, but it wasn't in the pancreas directly. Anyway, you got close. All right, and did they say did they give you a time limit? Well, I have several people several doctors, you know say different things, but from one week to a month or from now six months and because it was I was worse off than what I thought I was. And you know, I'm kind of a fighter. Anyway, I'm not wanting to go the doctor, you know, when I get a hangnail or a little toe hurts. You know, I just I didn't like going to the doctor at all, So if I end up going to a doctor at any time in my life is pretty it's pretty bad for those of you for those that haven't I heard a podcast at you and I've done before Gary is you know, some people would call him a healing evangelists season of Angel as he works on windshields and he happens to share the love of Jesus dead. But he and I I've been with you we've been to the VA hospital and you prayed for people and they got healed there's many podcasts that we did. You can look at your timeline you have videos of many testimonies of people getting healed and giving God the glory what I want to ask you is, how how did you get sick? I mean if you can pray for these people and they get Healed. How did that happen, man? Well, you know, we're all seeing the control of the glory and God all of us and we're just vessel, you know, it's just kind of a strange thing that happened after the hailing would manifested in my body and I came back to Mississippi from Arkansas. I had kind of a stomach bug, you know, not real, you know, some of the cramps and everything and I like that just got miraculously healed a terminal disease and here I am with a stomachache, you know, so I had to just stand my ground with that, you know and believe God to fix me up and he did but we just have to understand that we may Minister the power of God pray for people. We're we're still we're not Flawless. We're still fallible. We I mean my hair is getting gray. I'm losing some hair it turned off now starting to turn loose, you know, I still wear glasses, you know, I have to work last year, you know to read I get up in the morning and I don't get up as quick as I get off. was Nineteen or Twenty, you know, if I ate some greasy greasy food a lot of spicy food. I get a little indigestion. It's not like when we're dead, so he worked through the vessel to Clay right and Smith Wigglesworth he got sick. I mean he had a lot. He had the jars full of what was it? Yeah, and he was in a major happening evangelist last century. So right I can't can't even imagine he had to have the termination and Fade to push forward and minister to people because most men would have given up so I'm not going to do that because I can I do this and I'm having all these issues with kidney stones cuz I had one he had a Jar full of them. So I came home. He was one tough person. Yeah, but anyways God who does inhaling his God who gets the glory and it really what it does. It makes us Conrad just look to him, you know, the famous they always keep our eyes on him. You know, there's nothing like a little Devastation filed to get a on our knees off. Looking to God because no matter who you are. When you will get a report that you have terminal cancer is not curable and you know, you're going to be you're going to look to God.

"Welcome welcome. Welcome to get another addition of coffee with Conrad. This is Conrad from Conrad rocks dot net. That's my block where you can find podcast videos and blog posts rocks of revelation being poured out to you. Now my passion is for you. Yes you too have a spiritual relationship with the biblical. Jesus. Part of having a spiritual relationship with Jesus is doing what Jesus said for us to do and that keeping the garden of our imagination filled with the word of God, ruining up all the roots of bitterness in not allowing those weeds of wickedness to grow. In our thought live. Now. What causes a we'd to get into our garden in the first place. It just seems like spring up. You ever notice that there's oh there's another one. But I believe there's a chain of events that we're going to talk about here. there is something that starts it all off and I want you to meditate on this with me about putting a stumbling block of iniquity before our face we. And think about how we purposely set the stumbling blocks are liberty before faces. Now. Keep in mind is stumbling block is something that causes a person to stumble. A let that sink in. If, we're purposely putting stumbling block of our iniquity or something that causes us to sin in front of our face. Then we're eventually going to stumble into that sin pretty straightforward, right? So we need to remove these stumbling blocks. From before our faces. Now here's what God says in Ezekiel to the people in the congregation, and they're coming up to ask Zeki for a word from the Lord. And God is talking about how these people in the congregation I mean. You know they're going up to ask Zeke you'll for word so they're obviously in the congregation. God's talking about how these people purposely putting stumbling blocks of iniquity before their faces an propping up idols in their heart. Here's the passage in Ezekiel. Son Of man these men have set up their idols in their heart and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face should I be inquired of at all by them therefore speaking to them insane to them. Thus saith the Lord God every man of the House of Israel this set up his in his heart and put the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face and come to the Prophet I. The Lord Will Answer Him that come with according to the multitude of his idols that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart because they are all estranged from me through their idols. That's Ezekiel fourteen. Versus three through five. Now, we know the Lord will not hear those that regard iniquity in their hearts. Keep in mind in that passage that I just read from Hezekiel. That these people seeking God for answers to their problems. However God is wanting them to deal with inequity in their heart. You know the Bible says, if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me Psalm Sixty six eighteen. So we have this perpetual iniquity in our heart and we keep feeding it by putting that stumbling block of iniquity before our face. And that means to God that we're not serious. We're not really serious about repentance. When God sees that he doesn't hear our prayers. Now, of course psalm, there's an old testament verse, but the principal seems to hold true in the New Testament in first Peter Three seven likewise husbands deal with them according to knowledge giving honor into the wife as to the weaker vessel. And as being airs together of the grace of life that your prayers be not hindered New Testament post cross I peter three seven. James Four three says you ask in received not because you ask Amiss that she may consume it upon Your Lust So we see here, even the New Testament. If we do not on our wives. Our prayers can be hindered. If we asked selfish things that we may spend it on our selfish loss, God will not answered those prayers either. So these things could be iniquity. You are having coffee with comrades on Conrad rooks Dot Net. Do you realize that we're constantly sewing to our hearts? Think that when we're selling is just like the sewer. So's the word parable were sewing into our flash into our spirits into our hearts, and here's a passage in Galatian six be not deceived. God is not mocked for watch. So ever a man if that Shell he also reap for he that. So A to his flesh show of the flesh reap corruption, but he that's so with to the spirit shell of the spirit reap life everlasting esscalation six, versus seven and eight. Now, this is an interesting passage for me because this lady probably about. Eighteen years ago she was prophesying over me in some meeting in Texas and she said this passage. God's not mocked for whatsoever a man. So at that show, he also reap. Now, at the time, it was one of those words like I'm like I'm not really sure I'm getting this word right now but it kind of scared me you know it's like, Hey, man, this is serious. It. Caught my attention. But now that time has went by I can look back in the spirit of truth was bringing this to remembrance to me know how this truth will bring to remember. It's whatsoever God has told us that was what was happening with me. And I've seen how this word has come to fruition in my life. Now, we can also so to our spirits as well as the flesh in this reminds me a Smith Wigglesworth. After dinner, he would say something along the lines like we just federal bodies. Now it's time to feed the spirit and he would read the Bible after each meal. Here's a passage from one of his books ever increasing faith. None of you can be strong in God unless you're diligently and constantly harketting to what God has to say to you through his word you cannot know the power in the nature of God, unless you partake in breathed word read it mourn and at night, and at every opportunity you get after every meal instead of indulging in unprofitable conversation around the table, read a chapter from the word and then have a season of prayer I endeavoured to make a point of doing this no matter where or with whom I'm staying unquote. Now I'm going to include the link to that book where you can get it on Amazon ever increasing faith just check the the shown ups. Now this passage may seem extreme to. Luke Warm Christians. But this is Smith Wigglesworth. Smith Wigglesworth he's known to heal many people through his faith in God raise people from the dead. And he was also huge on sanctification. He would not even allow a newspaper inside his home is said, they're all full allies. So Smith Wigglesworth really did keep the garden of his imagination, his thought life. Clean. And he did not do things. To corrupt his flesh but.

"Yielded. No fruit and others fell on good ground. And did yield for it to spring up and increased in brought four some thirty, some sixty in one hundred. He that had the ears let him here. So. When we think about this sewer so is the word parable and Jesus expounds later privately to his disciples this way you gotta have a relationship with him, ask him what the Holy Spirit of truth to teach you. We see this on seeds fall on rocks rocks of offense. We see that some falls on weeds and there's there's the the thorns. The deceitfulness of riches actually chokes the word. Right? He interprets it later. So we need to think about this soil, are we throwing a bunch of seeds onto ground filled with netflix exclusive CNN Fox I mean what? What's our soil look like? What is the garden of our imagination? So we want to be a fertile environment for the word of God to take root in yield hundredfold. We want the word of God. So strong us that went persecution arises for the word sekine yes that's scripture. That we won't fall away, we don't want to be simply fair weathered So, in the garden of our imagination, our mind we want to remove these roots of bitterness that Paul Talks about we want to remove the rocks of the fence in all the weeds of wickedness. So the word of God can take root in her heart and we can produce one hundred fold fruit forgot, Hey, this is Dan the coffee man. I'm having coffee with Conrad Russia's morning. How how do we do this? Okay. We know be still and know that I'm God. Did God will be exalted among the Nation Psalm Forty six ten we also known Tom Twenty three seven. As a man thinks in his heart. So. Is He? Though need. One of those mean God's telling us to be still he's telling us to know God that means they have an intimate relationship with not just know his name once we have these still moments with God, they're Romans twelve, one in two transformation. Begins. Now when we do introspection that I'm Gonna I'm GonNa, talk about some of these in the psalms here a little bit. When we do introspection, we do not want to run off and leave God in this introspection. That's very important. This is where the new agers miss it. This is where books like the secret you know they all they look really awesome. You can manifest wealth and all this stuff. This is why they fly off the shelves but. We. Want to have relationship with God. have him shine the light when he's ready to do it? The new agers want to transform themselves to be millionaires to gain the whole world, but they're losing their soul. self-improvement self introspection is a waste of time without seeking God diligently, we cannot leave him out of the equation. We're doing our own thing. God is.

"Here's a passage. In John Fourteen. Jesus talking about the spirit of truth John Fourteen seventeen even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it's him not neither no with him but gino him for he dwell with with you and shelby in you. So Jesus is talking about the difference in the world, the world or the people that deny the spirit, right? Can't see or know him right. But in the Christian disciples, he dwells in us in shelby in US First Corinthians Fourteen fifteen Paul's talking about spiritual prayers. What is it? Then I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the understanding. Also, there's a difference I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the understanding also. So there's many spiritual passages in the Bible. In my point here is just because it's spiritual does not mean as new as the Bible points a lot to having a spiritual relationship with the biblical Jesus. This is Sherrie how from Sherry Hopper. DOT, com I'm having coffee with Conrad at Conrad Rocks Dot Net. Now, a very serious real thing I want to share with you because I've experienced this firsthand if Christians began to dabble into the new age, they're opening up a door for demonic attacks it may not happen to you directly, but it may visit your children. The Bible says in Exodus thirty four verse seven keeping Mercy for thousands. Forgiving, iniquity, and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear. The guilty visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children in upon the children's children unto the third and fourth generation. My Dad was a Christian and when he got married, he dabbled a little bit in the new age and I suffered terribly from demonic night tear. I did write a book about how to overcome that Jesus name. So check that out the link to that book will be in the show notes but my point is do not dabble in the new age. Don't go to seances don't go to psychics. Okay and look at what happened to King Saul he went to the witch of indoor and he died because of it right so you do not want the people of God should not dabble in astrology the Colt, or the new age no matter how shiny in tempting it looks it leads to.
