"It's awesome that we can continue to counter this signal and it's not just Niko and I. We have president. We have more influential people coming out every single day and saying what we know to be the truth. Is that Bitcoin is the way and why are we being forced to save in money that steals from us? A 100%. It's absolutely a 100%. Amen to that. All right, so I've been saving to cover this because this is a topic that came out a couple days ago, but I've been saving to and I've actually talked to some industry insiders as well. So I have some sauce for you guys. Oil giant Shell makes move into Bitcoin mining industry. Specifically, it's lubricants. There's two parts of shell, right? There is shell lubricants and shell power. It's shell lubricants that are that is getting into the mining industry. Now, what's really interesting that they're going to be or they were going to be a sponsor of the Bitcoin conference is Bitcoin 2023 and Bitcoin in 2024. Shell is a Fortune 500 company. It's a massive company. But to be specific, it is not shell power that's doing this. And they're coming out with two lubricants, right? They're coming and check out these names because they're very interesting. So the first one is called S three X if you spell that out, it looks very familiar to a certain type of word. Is that a coincidence? I don't know, I'll let you guys be the judge. And that specifically the S three X is called it's for Bitcoin mining fluid, and the S 5 X, again, very similar, is for data center fluid. Apparently from what I've been told, everyone's fluid is the same, but shells is different. Now, another part that's interesting, right? And actually tweeted this out the other day, is that Shell lubricants. I mean, shell, in general, they sold their natural gas stuff to Conoco.

"To fast money let's take another look at today's massive sell off stocks dropping hard after this morning's hot inflation report, the Dow falling nearly 1300 points. The S&P plummeting more than 4%. The tech heavy NASDAQ seen the worst of it down more than 5%, but energy stocks are relative strength today falling less than the rest of the market. Our next guest says that could be a place to hide out amidst this broader market volatility. Let's go off the charts with Chris baron a strategus, a beard company, Chris, great to see you, which charts are you looking at? Hey, mobile, I think we have to start with the action of the day is obviously what we saw in the broader market. Now, if we just put this in a little bit of context here, our thinking has always been when you're in a bear market when you're below what is still a downward sloping 200 day, the risk to a surprise tends to be on the downside. We certainly got that surprise today. We've been talking about this 3900 level as major support, but let's talk about this a little bit differently for a second. Let's think about leadership. If you look at the rally the last four or 5 days, what underperformed fang and semis on the way up they lacked what lack today on the way down. Fang and semi. So this market is more about just calling levels. It's about recognizing what is and what isn't leadership. The triple cues, the fangs, the semis lagged on the way up and lagged on the way down. That is not where we want to be in this market. So where can we hide or where can we find relative value? I still think the energy stocks provide a really good example of that here. And what we've been particularly impressed by is how energy has disassociated itself with crude. Obviously, we had crude lower over the last several months. We actually made a lower low last week. What has not made a lower low are the energy names. They've been able to disassociate themselves from crude weakness. We think that's the energy sector telling us that the structural tailwinds to the sector are more important than perhaps the cyclical headwind of lower crude prices. And if you look at the flow picture, what we've been really surprised by is the degree to which investors have just liquidated their XLE. So these are flows into the XLE over the last three months, just complete liquidation, so there's a lot of skepticism here. We like that from a contrarian standpoint. And then I think very importantly, in a market where it's really hard to find good charts, 95% of the energy sector is still above the 200 day. So we like to Fisher hunt in the areas that are most fertile, and I still think energy continues to emphasize that. Two names I'll show you here real quick. ConocoPhillips, what's most important for us in a down market is finding relative leaders. Conoco relative to the S&P is right back at the highs. You have to say that's impressive. I'll give you one more here. This is Hess. Not only is it back at the relative highs, it's back at the absolute highs, both names were outperformers today. They've been outperformers all year. This is a tough market. Seek out leadership, avoid the weak charts. That's a great metaphor, fish, or hunt, where it's most fertile. Going back for just a second Chris to technology broadly, if technology is no longer leadership, what does that mean for technology specifically in terms of performance? Well, no, I think the reality is tech has not been leadership for almost two years. The blow off top, at least in the relative performance of fang and arc. I mean, that dates back nearly two years. And our big call all year has been avoid these semis. The semis are finished. They've been leadership for the prior decade. They're not leadership here anymore, and video, AMD, Broadcom, Qualcomm, major top formations, both in the absolute and the relative sense. All right, Chris, great to see you. Thank you. In person. Chris varone of strategus. So Tam just extrapolating. I mean, semis are an indicator leading indicator of the economy. You've always said this is what you tell me every single time, Tim, and here we are. I am saying forget him. Forget him. Sometimes people refer to that as redundant, otherwise we could call it consistent. And I just think, you know, when you look at that Nvidia chart as Chris reference, it actually took out the September 1 Lowe's and actually are building on the July 5th lows where the market actually bottomed before going on a big run. It's tracing lower and he's right. The other thing that Chris said just when a charts guy and we love Chris. Let's be clear. So when I say this, when he starts talking about structural tailwinds, he's talking about the fundamentals. He's talking about as an investor, not a trader. And if you think about what's been going on in the energy sector, something else I'd like to harp on. Think about ConocoPhillips with 14 billion in net debt is actually going to at $80 oil will pay down 6 billion in debt will grow their dividend 8% and will buy back 20% of stock in the next three years at $80 oil. And this is all happening with the dollar that's at all time highs or 20 year highs or 18 year highs, whatever you want to say. Each 1% move higher in the dollar equals a 3% move lower in oil prices. So oil has been trading yeoman like in this environment. Yeah, I mean, I think what you're saying is true is that if you're looking at fundamentals for sure, there are some tech businesses that no matter what happens, they're going to be structurally sound. They have everything they need. They are fundamental players. They are mission critical software, for example, things that you're not going to replace. And so when I think about the fundamentals of those businesses, even in a difficult economy, they're better positioned.

And on Bloomberg quick take powered by more than 2700 journalists and analysts in more than 120 countries. I'm John Tucker, who is Uber. Right now the dollar strength is as much a good thing as it is a bad thing. But fast forward 6 9 months, Euro may be at 90 cents at one 50, maybe the calculus changes and we start to talk about coordinated intervention. I don't think we can rule this out. What is the breaking point for the dollar is a dollar hits the highest level on the Broadway to index since 2002. Eric Nelson of macro strategist at Wells Fargo securities weighing in on just that. And one of the biggest factors in deciding the dollar strength and just how far it can go and what central banks have to do to fight the inflationary impulse is very much the energy story, which has been a mystery. It has been incredibly difficult to get the story right. Bloomberg's Alex dill has been surveying all of the chief executive officers of big energy companies at Barclays CEO energy power conference in New York. She is joining us now with Ryan Lance Conoco CEO Alex, can not wait to hear what you have to say. Lisa, thanks very much. I appreciate that. So kind of go 'cause I've got a 100% in the last year. Typically, as kind of go goes, the rest of the industry goes. They tend to lead the themes in the industry. So having this conversation with Ryan right now is particularly important in the midst of an energy and gas crisis over in Europe, Brian. It's really good to see you in person. Thank you, great to be here, Alex. Speaking of you just return to Europe, Ursula bonded from Europe, ursa von de Lion said today talked about a solidarity contribution from fossil fuel companies in order to help pay for the energy crisis. What's your response? What are you thinking when it comes to Europe? Yeah, you know, it's a whole different conversation going on in Europe today than it was one year ago. Certainly energy security is elevated. It's position and certainly we're going through a transition. We have to do it more sustainably. And I think they're struggling with how to write the right policy to encourage early time investment, yet figure out how they want to go through the transition. And some of what they're talking about with excess profits tax, it's going to have the unintended consequence of reducing supply long-term. So I think they've really got to think through how they're going to manage

The video also shows the police officers speaking to the young woman who allegedly was accosted by him and the woman saying she did not want to file any charges. So as a result, he was not arrested or charged with a crime. He was detained one of the officers in quote unquote. We're just going to transport him out of here. Why does city officials say they resist in making records public in this case? They cited the fact that the video was part of an internal affairs investigation and that internal affairs investigations are confidential. We were able to prevail because the video itself is just a regular public document that was being looked at as part of the investigation, but it wasn't an investigative report. Now, I'm not in position to ascribe any motives or anything, but it certainly has fanned the frustrations of the family to take through family as come to every city council meeting week after week since the disappearance and they've often complained about the lack of answers from authorities about what took place. "Veritone to talk through this verita new firm, created by Mike and some partners from Tudor Pickering and holt, Mike's great to have you on. Listen, before we get into the individual stock names, I want to talk about oil. Oil was over a 110 today, it ended a little bit lower, but it was a 111 and change earlier today, even with the coming release, the 160 million barrels from the strategic petroleum reserve and the Senate moving one step closer today to allowing the president to sue OPEC for market manipulation. I mean, it all seems like it's adding up to a higher oil price over time. What do you think? Yeah, Brian, I mean, look, it's all about supply and demand, right? And right now we just don't have the supply. If you look at OPEC, OPEC is basically maxed out. We only have a couple million barrels of spare capacity. And so it's really about demand. How far it is demand have to go down or how far the price has to go up to hit the man and we just don't know what that is yet. I mean, we talk about a 125, a 150, some people up there in a $175. We don't know demand is going to have to basically be hit. It's going to have to get hit. We're going to see where price goes. That's what's going to determine. But there's no reason it can't go higher this year because guess what? We're heading into summer and that's seasonally a lot stronger period than we've been in the last couple of quarters. And I think the question that everybody's been asking, Mike, and you've been doing this a long time, my man, is where does that demand destruction kick in? I was in California. Well, really yesterday morning, 6, 6 50 a gallon and not by the freeway, by the way. That was pretty much every station in LA, but there were lines. I mean, there's people pulling in and filling up because they have to. Is there a price point where demand destruction begins to kick in? Because we were hiring O 8 inflation adjusted. Yeah, we just haven't seen it yet. It's not a $100, obviously. Is it a 125? We don't know is it a 150 we don't know. We're going to find out in a fairly quick fashion. Like I said, we're going into a seasonally strong period here in summer. We have China that's kind of a lot of China's off right now. And so when they do come back on, we're just going to have it really, really strong demand and we're just not going to have supply there. So we're going to find out pretty quickly. Hey, Michael, it's Karen feinerman. Thanks for being on. How do you think that China slowdown fits into this equation? For where the price of oil would be and or would they be buying it from Russia to steep discount? What do you, how do you think this plays out? Well, like I said, it's going to be where we're going on a seasonally strong period here. You know, the fed is raising rates and really is not doing anything at this point in time, but you know, one of the things like I said beforehand is that, you know, in previous periods, we had supply dictating what price did. We're just not going to have supplied doing it this time around. The U.S. doesn't have a lot of production to bring the market OPEC's not there, so it's really going to matter what demand does. And I see demand only getting better over the next couple of quarters. And so we're going to see prices are heading higher. Any names you like more than others right here, Mike? Go ahead and Brian. Any names that you like here, not all oil and gas producers are built the same. Summer hedged. Some are unhedged. Different pricing points, different cost bases, any oil and gas names you like more than others here. Yeah, Brian, we've been saying since the beginning of the year, we like oil services farm because activity is going to be improving. Pricing is going to be improving in earnings are going to be going up dramatically. So you can pick names like Halliburton, you can pick names like liberty, homework and pain, and EMP side, stick with some of the larger cap names we continue to like Devin continue to like Diamondback pioneer Conoco, but there's a half a dozen more names. So go with the names that are delivering the most return of capital. Most of these companies are delivering between ten and 15% return of capital. And some of these firms over the next three or four years are going to be buying back almost 40 to 50% of their market cap. So it really doesn't matter. Those are names we like on the refining side. We like Phillips 66 as well. The PSX, right? So go OFS, oil field services may be over E and P exploration and production. Mike Bradley, the new firm veritas and Mike congrats on the new firm as well. Thanks for joining us. Appreciate that. Tim, all right, so he's saying oil field services. I know guys talked about schlumberger in the past. Your take on what Mike had to say. I'm sorry, Brian, I thought you said Tim, no, I will tell you I'm with him a 100%. I don't think we anywhere close to demand destruction in terms of price. I didn't know that the administration is suing OPEC for price, manipulation, which is almost laughable. I won't do it on this day. There'll be time for that. I'm sure, but I'll say this. Valero, every single day makes an all time high. PSX still has room on valuation. Marathon Petroleum MPC. We talked about that name in the fall with Paul sankey. When it was a $60 stock, that still has room. So clearly, oil didn't get the memo about fighting inflation. I think it continues to go higher from here. Yeah, there are three ways you're going to make money in the oil sector. One is that the waiting in the S&P is going to is going to grow. I mentioned this. I'll mention that every time if I need to at 4% waiting in the S&P in this environment, when you have the fundamentals so good, it's going to at least double back to its 20 year average. But then what companies are doing. ConocoPhillips, they just announced. I mean, this is as advertised. I think wolf research calls them the best two way player, which means they're exposed to the higher commodity prices, and yet they're going to return 10% back to their shareholders. They actually even grew their CAPEX 8%, which starts to get you worried if it's old school. It's not what's going on. The sector is totally different capital discipline. This is what Mike referred to. They're buying back shares. That's the third leg of the stool. And I think they are all doing it. Royal Dutch announced this morning. 9.1 billion in profit versus 3.1 a year ago, they're buying back a ton of stock, and I think they're very well positioned in terms of capital discipline. Great point, and marathon MPC, by the way, raising its cash flow estimates. I believe that was yesterday morning or afternoon. Tim and guy, thank you. All right, let's stay with the energy trade because shares of albemarle topping the tape. They mine the oil if you will of electric cars, lithium, demand for electric cars is strong. And so are earnings, albemarle also raising guidance and lithium prices expected to remain elevated and heightened demand for EVs as well, albemarle, Bond. I mean, super bright spot is it sustainable..

"Going on in the world. And this is an impressive enough. All right, coming out of crude oil nearing a $100 a barrel on the back of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, but energy stocks didn't follow suit. What's the deal? We're taking a check in the options pits next. Welcome back to fast money. Check out the wild move in WTI crude oil today hitting nearly a hundred bucks a barrel this morning before giving up nearly all of its gains. Let's bring in my coat. Mike, what'd you see? Yeah, so the WTI futures did see call options about triple. And we saw the April future hit, I think, actually just over a hundred, those April 100 calls were actually the most active today we saw about 14,600 of those trading for $3 and 85 cents a contract buyers of those calls are obviously betting that it could exceed today's highs by at least that amount. Now remember, the future is represents a thousand barrels. So there are about ten times bigger than we typically see for equity options. So 14,600 call options is actually quite a lot that represents 14 million plus barrels of crude oil. All right, Mike, thank you. My co, what'd you make of this? A boil today. Pete, the energy equities that is. Yeah, I mean, I guess we shouldn't be surprised by the movement, but I continue to be very bullish on the equities themselves, smell. I continue to load up. I continue to see all kinds of different options out there that are buying into the future, and it's not just about Ukraine. This started over a year ago. They just continue to go to the upside. I'm going to continue to buy as well, and I continue to have more and more and more positions to the upside for energy. Should we be concerned about the energy companies that have exposure to Russia specifically like a BP or total guy? I mean, I would think a certain amount of concern, but in terms of the broader picture, I'm totally with Pete and by the way, this is playing out the way Paul sankey said it would I think two days ago if memory serves. So short term sell off, but he's bullish overall. I am as well. This is long before Russia Ukraine, the fundamentals are still in place supply demand fundamentals, Tim talks about it all the time for oil to go significantly higher than we even got today. So I still like the entire sector. He also said, buy fang cell fang. Diamondback by Diamondback cell fang, the tech stocks, is it time to get rid of that trade Tim? I don't know. Look, I think energy is now a case where this is hardly a contrarian trade. I think everything we're saying here, remember, Russia is 7.7 and a half million barrels roughly on export to the rest of the world. You mentioned U.S. companies, Conoco has done a great job of getting themselves out of Russia about 5 years ago. They sold a stake in Luke oil BP still has some tie there. All right, options action tomorrow, 5 30 p.m. Eastern Time. Final trade time..

not going to downplay that because the market pricing of what's going on in China's tangible It's off the radar this morning John particularly with a Macron but it's real Evergreen paper self I want to get straight to Friday Thomas CPI report in America Sarah House of Wells Fargo in a previous air suggesting 6.9% CPI in America on to 7 through machia Q one next year Goldman Sachs markdown so let's call it nominal GDP 7 plus two Okay I think that's 9% as my Monday math Maybe after double digit economic growth all inflation adduced that's something John we've never seen before And that's the uncertainty that we have right now Then it cost them the team over at Goldman look for 5100 on the S&P and next year Kaylee a conversation we've had over the last couple of weeks If things get dicey can the fed do anything about it with inflation close to 7 Is it already too little too late even as the fed talks about accelerating its asset or sassa purchase wind down potentially as your own pal talked about repeatedly last week even in the face of the market clearly being upset by his comments even in the face of uncertainty around the amaron variant the fed may be trying to play a game of catch up here as we're faced with these kind of numbers on inflation in the U.S. 69 on the ice and the labor market report on Friday Check out the headline number look pretty solid Tom Throw in the things that Kelly's talking about You do wonder how much of a heavy lift the fed's got ahead of it Just to slow this economy downtown with an economy with a 69 handle on the ISM Let's reflect on that TK For most people booming The partial differentials John is you want to bring the inflation component over to real economic growth And as you mentioned earlier the most important statistic last week where boom ISM numbers And that's the bet right now We've got a lot of people saying the growth is there It is real inflation will subside and we've got another group saying the growth really isn't there And we'll have a way We'll talk about that boom in just a moment Here's the price action this Monday morning Good morning to you all up 18 on the S&P Advancing on the S&P 500 four tenths of 1% The NASDAQ 100 was much slower Down 6 tenths of 1% and some right now down a quarter We bounced back there too Ten year treasury yields bouncing back as well The obs lower ten basis points on Friday This Monday morning Kaylee up 5 to one 39 52 Yeah retracing about half that move but we're still south of one 40 This is not where a lot of people thought we would be in December of 2021 A lot of that those calls have gone the wrong way Now as for what is ahead today at 8 15 a.m. Eastern Time we do get the eurogroup meeting finance ministers meeting in Brussels high on the agenda is going to be those energy costs that are persistently higher and what the implications are for inflation in the Eurozone And of course the IMF managing director Cristina gorga will be addressing that you're a group with a press conference later on at ten 45 a.m. Eastern Time Also happening today the world petroleum conference It was on the board John oil up about 3% today It really is going to be interesting as we hear from the likes of BP of Aramco of Occidental Conoco oil ministers OPEC officials what they say about the demand outlook and how the Akron variant may cloud it especially in light of OPEC plus moving ahead with production heights for January So we'll look for that commentary And then finally at 2 p.m. Eastern Time President Biden will be speaking from the east room of The White House no surprise he will be talking about his build back better plan and this time about how it specifically will lower prescription drug costs for Americans So we'll look for those remarks on Looking forward to it Katie thank you spare a thought for anyone There's got to put together a forecast for next year Tom Keane it is crystal ball season Can you imagine many of those reports Tom were written a couple of months ago Now they're looking to publish them going into the next year and I have to say next year Tom looking very uncertain And again as you say a couple of years ago people made fun of this but I'm sorry I was a brilliant call a couple years ago reset and marked what's really amazing here John is when you look at the pressure it takes when you join a Philadelphia shop and all of a sudden you're an expert on the Philadelphia Eagles You have to be an eagles fan You have to be an eagles fan to work at FS What can I ask you to join us now Chief market strategist at FS investments I'm not sure if he wants to be called an eagles fan We'll deal with that in just a moment It's crystal ball season How important is it to stay humble in this crystal ball season Troy Oh a 100% I mean as you guys have talked about time and time again in your show the variance in forecasts for next year are huge You have brilliant people calling for runaway inflation with lower real growth You have brilliant people calling for a normalization of inflationary pressures and a boost to real So times like these you have to keep your forecast very wide and be humble and understand "This is Bloomberg intelligence We are really getting into now the streaming arms race This is looking at that and saying we can really build a nice niche for ourselves In this research and data on 2000 companies and 130 industry The dollar is the dominant content in the planet I think the acquisition is now turning progression of what Microsoft can do with this technology going forward Bloomberg didn't intelligence with Alex steel and Paul Sweeney on Bloomberg radio Over the next hour we're gonna dig inside the big business stories impacting Wall Street and the global markets Each and every week we provide in depth research and data on some of the 2000 companies and 130 industries our analysts cover worldwide Today we're going to take a look at how input and freight costs are impacting European industrials and their margin expansion Plus despite its small sliver of the engineering software market Bentley systems is well positioned to capitalize on infrastructure spending But first and it's only because it's me We're gonna take a look at a preview to oil earnings We got big oil and then we're gonna get the E and ps the expiration and production companies All as we have an energy crisis kind of bubbling up all over the world So let's break it down with Bloomberg intelligence senior energy analyst Fernando Vale Fernando oh he's a pleasure Pleasure is all mine Okay so before we get to individual names what's your macro take right now Well it's a very complex world that we're going through You mentioned the energy crisis And I think if you look just at oil as the stand-alone commodity you can't help but be bullish We don't have the capability to make up for the man as it was pre-pandemic and we're actually in some cases in the U.S. specifically surpassing pre virus demand And if you combine that with the fact that natural gas is at all time highs in Europe and in Asia And we can't really get all the LNG over to those destinations It really creates a setting for oil and gas to just benefit for the next 6 months The question is what happens with China You know so much of their GDP is tied to a real estate development and construction If that slows down how big of an impact will it be And then there's always the issue that oil prices are its biggest enemy right You're seeing already to impact an emerging market as demand starts to trickle down because of the rise in oil prices combined with weaker emerging market currencies All right Fernando we've got oil it over $80 a barrel It's been that way for a while now I'm just thinking about your shale companies In the past when we've seen oil move higher they just start digging holes in the ground Are we going to see that again Are they going to have some discipline here I think they can't help but have some discipline And there are two main reasons for it The first one is in some cases data just don't have The Rock They don't have the geological resources to go out there and get more oil And if you look at North Dakota the Bakken play there they peaked at over one and a half million barrels a day I think we're really going to be at the 1.11 .2 million barrels a day for the foreseeable future They really drill too much too fast And so there isn't the ability to get there back to those levels The second issue is you went through a wave of equipment retirement during the pandemic It takes time to bring some of those units back into work Some of them may not work at all And everybody's having issues with labor shortages And the oil patch is no different It would be hard to attract that talent back especially given the recent scarring from 2014 and in 2020 So that's interesting So if that's the case when these guys report is it just going to be a mountain of free cash flow and dividends Yes and no It depends on how you came into the pandemic If you're Conoco or Chevron yes you're going to see a wave of free cash flow because you came into this with a great balance sheet If you're excellent and Oxy you're going to get free cash flow but that's going to go back to paying down dividends You took way too much euphoria prices crash You didn't buy when oil was 30 $40 You did it at 80 90 And so you need to pay those debt holders back first And the dividend is going to lag All right so we're going to see some discipline out of some of these energy countries and companies How about OPEC just in general I mean it just seems like again oil north of $80 There's got to be some pressure building there Maybe from Russia some others to start pumping it out But it seems like they're disciplined there as well Yes Interesting Russia was never that discipline to begin with Okay So I don't think they will be for the foreseeable future I think the biggest question is Saudi and the UAE and they're starting to bring back production Can they stay at ten and a half million barrels a day as they did pre-pandemic I think that was never sustainable level to begin with So I think there are going to be much closer to capacity and consensus gives give them credit for So we may be building to a shortage Again as long as the main holds up supplies is not there to meet it in 2022 So just going back to the U.S. for just a second There's this really cool thing called ducks Paul drilled but uncompleted wells right Okay And it's basically you drill and you don't complete them and then when all of us in the oil price gets better you complete them It's no big deal It's not a lot of manpower We run those down a lot And I wonder like when these oil companies are going to be forced to spend money and increase production just to keep production flat because they've kind of pulled all the tricky lovers that they can You're exactly right and we were starting to see ducks flatten out and start to a slight build And I think the question is do we have the rigs and do we have the frac crews to get there And when you look at the Permian the Permian finally went above pre-pandemic levels in July I think you might not have enough completion crews right away You have to move them you know it takes time to get the equipment where it needs to be And I think you may have see a slight rise in ducks over the next couple of months But it's what I said Can you get the people and the equipment there to get the production that you need And really the only place you need it now is the Permian So wonderful I love for not open end of all Bloomberg intelligence senior energy analyst always good to get your perspective It's well okay I'm talking about book It's gonna be awesome It's gonna be awesome She's so fun All right coming up with the program Trucker sentiment keeps rates outlook in very high gear You are listening to Bloomberg intelligence on Bloomberg radio providing in depth research and data on 2000 companies and a 130 industries You can access Bloomberg intelligence through BI go on the terminal I'm Alex steel And I'm.

"The trouble that they're seeing larry from tennessee asks a kind of a question about vaccination rates. And what's really going on here. Let me read you. Some numbers here with around thirty. Three thousand residents gibraltar is the most vaccinated country enter. This is from conoco. The great the telegram channel really smart by june first over ninety nine percent of gibraltar's population was fully vaccinated. We independently verified this by the way since that time. The new kobes cases per day of increased from one to twenty five and the country's now going back into lockdowns similar stories are occurring and countries the highest percentage vaccinated israel uk multi and iceland. Iceland is saying they need fifteen years of lockdowns. Iceland has the third highest rate of kobe. Nineteen vaccinations in the world. With seventy five percent of the population vaccinated thankfully viruses get less deadly overtime and deaths in iceland remained near-zero. Wait if the if the viruses getting less deadly over time. Why are we locking down again. Why do we have to vaccinate as much. That's somewhat illogical isn't it. we're not ruled. Biological reasons. were definitely not ruled by courage. Rhonda santa's would be the exception. Also here's a question. Can i get a vaccine passport for saying i've already had cove. Can i get an antibody passport. Why no one talking about that. In fact we should start floating that. What about antibody passports now. Because i asked my office. I said who years had covert three fourths of the hands. Rose i said how was it. Like i lost sleep for a night and i coughed a little bit. Oh that's worth destroying our civilization over. It really is incredible. How the adults that are in politics in our country have messed this entire thing. America could have lead on this. We really could. We could have been antilock down pro liberty pro freedom pro therapeutic treatment. And so here's the real question. The logical question and the obvious one based on empirical data is the vaccine making things better no change or making things worse. That's a legitimate question. Because the data is actually showing an increase. That's a scientific question. There's a massive antilock down protests happening in melbourne australia. And guess what australia's doing they're sending the military into the streets martial law so to answer your question what's going on with all of this as we have went through mass inoculation and mass vaccination. We have now seen the opposite happened. Now they say well. It's a crisis of the unvaccinated. First of all the cdc's owned data shows that massachusetts. They showed that vaccinate people were are more likely to actually get infected. That's the cdc's own leaked data. So let's put that aside. What about the countries that are almost all one hundred percent vaccinated. What about them. What about the countries that are almost all subservient to astrazeneca mcgurn pfizer and johnson and johnson. So here's a question if the vaccine works so well. Why do you need boosters. Is this about social control or is this about public. Health can somebody who's in the leadership of our country. Answer this question. What number of deaths a day do you wanna reach until you can fully reopen the country again. If the vaccine worked so well why do you need to wear masks inside around your children if the vaccine works so well why are rates going up and then you still want everyone to go get it. Med scape has started the public discussion for medical professions about adverse events related to kobe. Nineteen vaccines there's over. One thousand comments so far and i think you have to have a portal to log into that. Is that right connor. That's just for medical professionals. Let's not just like some blog and we know this to be true. Even when i had this conversation where i got a little bit heated not overly angry but i got emotional. Because i'm so into this with vouch. Tim pool and i thought it was a great discussion around the vaccine because i have received six thousand emails of people that have had adverse event reactions emails and comments and notes. And i'm just supposed to ignore that. I'm just i'm just supposed to ignore when someone's oh. Yeah my dad. Dropped dead after. He got modern shot. Oh oh yeah. My daughter can't walk. Or i had a miscarriage. Like oh no stop it. There's nothing to that. I i will believe my lying eyes. Thank you very much so we don't actually know the answer to a lot of these questions but we do know is that. There's more to this story and that the lockdown must end immediately and they're doing massive damage to your children in our country. I'm not gonna put up with it and we're gonna push back against it. Will i hope so. Thanks so much for listening everybody. Email us your thoughts. Freedom at charlie. Kirk dot com. Reacting to the Nintendo Direct Mini

"We recorded yesterday's episode and then the direct just dropped out of nowhere on Thursday morning which is responsible very typical. Yeah it's not. It's not very typical though right because like usually Nintendo the day before will at least tweet out like. Hey there's a direct coming tomorrow or you know like hey there's a direct coming in two days but this is kind of unprecedented for them to just be like okay here. It is and it's it's odd because right you know. Usually they count on that to like bring in a bunch of people to watch that that premier live. I honestly thought it was really strange this morning to wake up and see like. Oh Nintendo just dropped thirty news games. Once as you. I see you could probably tell that. I'm a little annoyed because usually back as you can hear Zach Ryan joining us also chiming in right now. Is Brian Alto? But we're also joined because Casey is busy today by Seth Macy Long Distance. So while Brian what are you going to say I was GONNA say I meant typical in that. Nbc recorded yesterday and news broke after when you listen to the regular episode of NBC. This week you'll also hear a say hilarious things like I can't believe there's no borderlands on switch that's crazy why would there not be borderlands on switch and then literally less than twenty four hours later borderlands was switched? So you'll get that We are digging into this L. Let's just jump in. We're going to be going down our roundup article which you can find. You can actually go to this random article on. I dot Com to see all of the announcements as well as a poll. That's asking you. What your favorite reveal was from the tender direct so you can check that out but let's start at the top With the Smash Bros announcement which was kind of like a little bit of a half announcement right. They announced that the first fighter in the second fighter pass is going to be an arms character arriving in June and revealed in June. But we don't know which character yet and they need more time for which I bet it's a punch man a better man as the character that us. I was thinking fist girl. What else what about the other one might be showing perils? My was. They're leaving it open because it's going to be one of those things like like the Kupa lanes where every skin is a different character. Probably GONNA be the same arms fighters or something but I mean everybody was clamoring for more arms news so it makes sense that this would come be nice. People like people like the day like the like really like aren't arm team. This is a character like A. I'm not really like it's not a character. I'm disappointed to see Smash Bros and it's what I kind of thought that they were going to do in the first fighter pass anyway. It's it's certainly leads me to believe that. They're they're really still thinking about making arms a franchise. You know what I mean like. They said that like well development is still happening on arms to while they didn't say arm sue but they did hint that they're working on a sequel to arms legs. Chocking thank you so that was kind of shocking to me because I feel that game kind of came and went so fast it sold well and I think it like stuck around for a little bit but this this does. This news feels few years too late. I'm with you guys on that like I think if they had announced this character Few months after the launch it would have made a little bit more sense but I was going to be sorry. I was the protein shakes. I assumed that are there. Anonymous character was going to be the best game. I was surprised when the same kind of seems like a no brainer to put it like in the first round but it seems very weird to put it here in this third round of characters so the good thing is like they're they're coinciding with the allowing players to play the entire game for free for a little while. Which is I think. A smart move. It's basically a free switch game that you can download immediately and I think you know a Free First Party. Switch game Temporarily air quotes. But I think that's pretty awesome. Even if I didn't super get into that game us Mr Smash Redman Right now but like I'm not like overly crazier excited about the idea of like arms character but I am excited about the prospect of what an arms character as a smash. Bros fighter would be like. I think that character could be really fun to play. Yeah like I think that that it would be a a a nice medium distance character. You know like a lot of like good good. Reach a lot of great recovery probably. Yeah I interested as a fighting cared. I'm interested in it as a fighting game. I just think it's a weird move in terms of like their overall oeuvre at this point but because I I kind of assumed that nintendo would would do arms and see the reception and then just like okay. Well we tried that. Once we're bacteria we had small technical issues there but we're back to talk now about Zena bed Conoco's definitive addition We got a release date for this. May Twenty ninth. They also just like showed off a bunch of the game. This was sort of the headliner. aside from polk Amman. I think it's thing they spent the most time on this. Yup I've I've said my piece about Zena Blade chronicles on this show. I'M GONNA JUST YOU. Y'All go ahead and talk about this game. I'm good who is played it because I missed it back in the day. I also missed it back in the day. I played it. Okay your first one Brian. Yeah Yeah are you like did. Did you like what you saw here in terms of re master and definitive edition? Whatever they want. I mean this is like while I probably won't dive into this. This is obviously gigantic news. For people who love this game This is a highly beloved game that will take hundreds of hours finish and putting that on switches. Never bad news Personally it's not something. I'm really intrigued about but every time I've sort of been like oh who's even excited about this. Millions of people are like us and so I will just say I am happy for all of you who are happy for this game even though it's not for me personally Good luck and Godspeed. I hope you enjoy your fun time with the video game coming this year but I will say I'm really am excited that we just have another mainline. Switch Game. Release date this year. Like that's exciting to me But beyond that. I'm excited because when I was asking about if I should start seeing a blade chronicles two million years ago. The thing from people as you should really play the first one I but it's also not worth going. It's like it's more trouble than it's worth to go back to it because it's kind of an aged game so seeing this as like looking pretty much just as good as chronicles to now makes me want to be like. Oh Yeah I I can actually play this. Which is which is really exciting. Yeah I think the graphically like the overhaul looks gorgeous. The character models look really really good. The environments look really good. I think that the one thing that I really liked about chronicles to the ten hours that I spent with it was like it's just insane to see that expansive sort of open world those kinds of areas on the switch. No game does it anywhere near that good except for maybe breath of the wild so. Brian said I think it's really cool for fans of Zeno Blade. I'm stoked that they're get a chance to free. Play this one of the most exciting announcements for a lot of people at least gen our calm according to our poll was Two K Games announced their K. Announced that a bunch of there are coming so we're getting the bioshock collection which is a shock. One two and infinite. We're getting borderlands legendary collection and we're getting X. come to the X. Come to collection but that's really just like it in it's steel see Vats THREE SERIES. That are fantastic. All coming to switch and like on also on May Twenty Ninth. So this is like really. That's really cool thing. That's once that's like huge support from two K ma.
