"Possible. You know, he just won a gun by his side. He wanted Ben by his side at all times when Ben was around the team. He wanted to know when it looked inevitable that Ben would pass away as he ultimately did in August. Edmonton's biggest and most beloved hockey fan has died. Ben stelter's father confirmed the 6 year old passed away Tuesday night, the honky community, Maureen, the loss. He wanted to know right away and had somebody call him while he was on vacation in Europe and said just let me know on the funeral would be and I'll be there and he was. Obviously this is a very tough day for, you know, the entire oilers, family, all the fans, but more importantly, and most importantly, the family. I'll see Ben men so much to myself to my teammates. It was amazing little guy who lit up every single room. He was in. Certainly let up our room every time he walked in there. So I think that was something last season that gave him a lot of perspective. And I think this was coming anyway in terms of him doing things like taking courses and being more of a loving person to his family and friends. When I asked him about it, he said, yeah, you know, I've been in the league for 8 years now. I'm older, kind of more mature, but that last season would then stelter and his family, I think, kind of gave him again a little bit more perspective on life and that hockey's only a part of his life. I just think through the summer he worked like I said on his mental health and he just said, you know what? There's more to life and I have to open my mind and I have to realize that there's other things that are just as important as hockey and I really think that helped us hockey. Okay, coming up. As of this recording, the series is tied at two games a piece, what have you seen from Conor McDavid specifically so far in this series? I see a guy who's been good to very good, but not quite at the same type of dominance that we've seen in the regular season. He's had a lot of chances in the series and just really hasn't been able to convert at the level that he normally has he has two goals for assists for 6 points in four games. 95% of the league would take those numbers, but it's kind of pedestrian by Connor McDavid standards. It wasn't until game three that he scored he had two power play goals. He didn't record any points at 5 one 5 until game four where he had to assist. So there's a lot more for Connor McDavid to do offensively. I think he's been pretty good everywhere else except for that production. But it would be foolish for anyone to count him out. He's the type of player that seems to rise to the occasion more so than wilt. And as we saw last season, when the oilers needed him the most, he was there more than any other player. And there's no reason to think that McDavid can't do that again this season. What else has stood out to you about this series overall? Well, it's certainly been the most unpredictable series of the first round, no lead is safe. The others have blown a pair of two goal leads one in game one, one in game two. And then when it looked like they were out in game four, being down three zero after the first period, they charged back three overtime games in the series. It's a very tough series to predict. The one thing is that the oilers power play has been tremendous and obviously McDavid is a focal point of that power play as we discussed going 6th for 11 is a remarkable run the kings have had their success on the power play too. And I think both teams are trying to kind of figure out the ever evolving or ever changing standard of officiating so that they're not putting themselves in tough spots because power police have reigned supreme in the series. You know, there's been this constant drum beat around the Edmonton Oilers ever since Connor McDavid joined them back in 2015, I believe. About whether or not his talent was being squandered there, he's in the prime of his career, there have been no Stanley Cup so far. What are the expectations or what are the needs for this Euler's team, this postseason? Yeah, I mean, the expectations are sky high. They reach the conference final last year. They had the second best record from the December holiday period Christmas onward from early January January 11th. They had the best points of percentage in the league. This season. Yeah, and they also went into the playoffs on an extreme high going 1401 one in their last 15 games, just missing out on winning the division. The steam is as good as it's ever been in Connor McDavid's career as an oiler. You saw last season when they got a wander Kane that really kind of elevated it rounded out their top 6. Their bottom 6, which was a huge issue for this team. That's changed. And that gives a little extra bit of confidence that this team can do well and have a long playoff run. They have two solid defensive pairings or they should. They have a goaltender who has struggled in the playoffs. I think you were skinner, but a guy who should be up for rookie of the year consideration this season. McDavid dry Seidel, Ryan nugent Hawkins and Zach Hyman, all had career seasons with all the time and getting a hundred points. So this team is offensively potent as it's ever been. It's as well rounded as has ever been. And it's probably as good as it's been defensively even though there's improvement to be made there. So they were my pick to come out of the Western Conference and get to the Stanley Cup final. And as long as they can get through the kings, they should be able to do that. All right, lastly here, Daniel. We've talked about the evolution of Connor McDavid's game, and we talked about his historic season. Are there still ways in which Connor McDavid can continue to evolve as a player or are we now witnessing the man at the very

"Seeing McDavid a few years ago and his summer off season house there in aurora Ontario just north of Toronto, just with the garage door shut and sweating profusely and working on a shot just saying that it needs to get better. But I think in the past it was more so about volume, about just blasting products and hoping that you would get better. And this off season really studied some of the game's better scores, namely auston Matthews, Matthews was the rocket Richard winner as the league's best school score last season in one night, the heart trophy taking that away from McDavid. Obviously Austin started at 60 last year and just how he scored and goes about it. You know, a lot of sky scoring goals different ways. And, you know, just finding ways to different ways to produce. Matthews can kind of alter the angle of his blade of the stick and use the defenseman to screens and pull the puck around and really trickle tenders that way. And he's added that to his game without question this season. Not just blasting the puck, but actually trying to change the technique of his release a little bit. Exactly. And McDavid had never been a guy who did really score from distance before. He's added that to his game without question this season. McDavid. That's it go. He scores. Connor McDavid uses the defender as the screen. It's ten of here and he just kind of makes that move pulls a business example. So about Slovakian of Leon draisaitl, his Euler's teammate who can score from on a power play for pretty much anywhere from the top of the circle to the goal line. And it's been a big part of his game from an offensive perspective. The 5 holy so good at getting that shot away no look. No look, bang. You can put in the work too. I mean, he blasted so many pucks in the summer that when he talked to his mom and showed him his hands would be all blistered and she'd be like, why aren't you wearing gloves? This is who I am, right? So he certainly put in the word too, but I think there was a little bit more of a studious approach to how he handled that. Okay, so he's been shooting more. He's been scoring a lot more goals, but it's also not like other elements of his game have been falling off as a result. Absolutely not. And I mentioned earlier there's a defensive side of the game, right? And that's the area where I think he has taken a huge step. I like playing defense. You guys down too, you know? You know, a lot of times he would make up my defensive side of things and I think it's gotten better and better as I moved along in my career and I really do enjoy it. When coach Jay woodcroft was hired last February to coach the others being promoted for Bakersfield. He started to use them on a penalty kill a little bit more than previous coach Dave tippett had now McDavid has become very much part of that penalty kill where he in the regular season had the third most ice time among others forwards and the olders were only outscored by one goal with McDavid on the ice. While playing short handed. Yeah, exactly. He's become an unbelievable two way player and that's partly why anyway, he's been able to take his game to a whole other level this season. You know, his teammate Derek Ryan was saying that he just keeps adding layers to his game. He hasn't lost anything well. He's adding those layers to his game. Well, Daniel, the thing that I'm most excited to ask you about here is actually about Connor McDavid's evolution off the ice over the past year or so. He recently spoke with McDavid and his mother about all of this. Tell us what you learned about how he's been changing, not just as a hockey player, but also as a leader and as a human being. From a leadership perspective, he's seems and he is a lot more confident in his voice and being a bit more assertive at times, but knowing when to pull back at times. And I think a lot of that comes from kind of a self realization in the off season that he need to kind of expand his horizons from an off ice perspective. So he's taken some university courses this year and finance. He has read a lot of self improvement and leadership books. Zach Hyman is probably if not the most well rounded player on the team and certainly right up there and a guy that owns a couple of video game companies, a guy who's a three time children's author and has two kids and a very invested in the Jewish community in Conor McDavid has certainly had some conversations this season just about life outside of hockey and you know that there are other things. And again, I think McDavid taking finance courses and reading a lot of different books. And just focusing on himself away from the rink, he's been a lot more open and caring and a warmer person around his family, his brother, his girlfriend, his parents, his parents come to visit periodically throughout the year. And his mom always called him from the time he was a young kid up until very recently that he was kind of a brooder. When he was little, he was a breeder. He was upset about something he would say, it's a stupid day. You know, he worried about everything and you could tell if he was grumpy. You know what I mean? Leave me alone. Don't talk to me that type of thing, whereas now he gains the support of people around him and wants them around and wants their advice. And it's kind of open himself up to the people that care about him most. When we go to visit, he's just very levy. He's very warm. Well, it's like, I really want you around. I want to spend time with you and when you're here, you know, he's very huggy and he's very just very warm and loving and I see that with him like with all of you in his life right now. Has that warmth extended to his relationship with members of the media like yourself as well? You know, it has, I will say, he is a lot more engaged in terms of wanting to have a conversation with myself and others, but he never used to be that way before. And I think he's in as big a Russia as he once was. I think he's kind of taking a step back and gained a little bit of perspective that way. Daniel, do you have any sense of why Conor McDavid has gained this new perspective on things and this sudden warmth after, you know, being a guy who was so famously hockey obsessed for so long? I think it changed a lot last season. In Edmonton, there was a young boy named Ben stelter who was a 6 year old who had terminal brain cancer. He was diagnosed with glioblastoma just before his 5th birthday and underwent several surgeries, radiation treatments and chemotherapy appointments. And late in the year, he kind of became a part of the Euler's team. Hey, Ben. How are you? What did you think of the game today? Ben, who's your favorite Euler? McDavid and my solo. And there was no one who took that player under his way more than honor McDavid. He wanted to updates on Ben, he made sure the family had everything that they could possibly want and was carrying

"Daniel nugent Bowman, welcome back to the lead. Nice to meet back on with you Anders. It's been a while, but I'm happy to come back. So Daniel, we're here today to talk about the evolution of Connor McDavid. This guy who has pretty much been the best player in the NHL for a number of years now, but who somehow just keeps getting better and better. Before we get into how he has continued to improve year over year, can you just break down what he's done this season by the numbers and give us some historical context around what he's done as well? Yeah, where do you want to start? That would be my question. There's just so much that Connor McDavid has done this season as kind of put him on this pedestal. He scored 64 goals, which led the National Hockey League in goal scoring. His first time he's ever done that in his career and his 20 goals more than he scored last season. He led the league in goals, assists and points. The first time that's been done outright since Wayne Gretzky in 1987. Wow. His 153 points that put some 15th all time for points in a season. And most of the guys on that list were kind of the offensive steroid era of the game in the 1980s. Only Wayne Gretzky, Mariel and UN Steve iceman have ever scored more points than him in a given season. You probably heard of those three guys. I mean, the season scoring is up a little bit. But not compared to those times or that time when those guys were putting up that type of offense and Connor McDavid has just taken his game to another level and the other stats from the season that are worth mentioning. I mean, power play, they were power play was historically good. The orders converted on 32.4% of their power plays. It's the greatest success rate since the league started keeping track in the late 70s. Wow. McDavid had the fourth most points of any player in league history only mariell mu and three different times had more than him. So he's the focal point of that power play, which is a huge, huge reason for the order of success. Well, like I said, Daniel, we wanted to trace Connor McDavid's recent evolution as a player, which you wrote about after speaking with McDavid and some of the people closest to him. I think the story of his evolution, at least for our purposes, starts back in 2020 during the COVID shortened season, can you walk us through how that season ended for the oilers and how Connor McDavid responded? Yeah, that was a very disappointing end to the season for the oilers and for McDavid. They were the 5th seed in the Western Conference and the 5 through 12 played in the first round play on series, and they were heavily favored against Chicago, yet were knocked out of their best of 5 series in just four games. Outward, Ethan Barrett league back. The hawk to the lead. And David was actually pretty good in that series. He had 9 points in four games, but the team lost out to a team that really had no business being there in Chicago. Have won a series for the first time since the Stanley Cup championship of 20 15. That's where he realized that he had to do more. He had to find another kind of avenue in his game and enhance it. And that was the defensive side of the game. What he did was he watched a lot of the best defensive players in the league studied how they kind of went about their craft, wouldn't cheat anymore, which for a player of his speed and his skating ability, probably the greatest skater that the game has ever seen. So he would support his defensemen a lot more be engaged a lot more battles and his back checking was a lot more aggressive and he was able to kind of help his defenders on the rush too. So that was kind of the turning point for McDavid become a more complete player. So he became kind of a an average to above average player now. He's a very good defensive player. And just to clarify, this focus on the defense side of the game. This was something that was coming from Connor McDavid himself. This wasn't the coaches saying, hey man, you got to start doing this as well. This was Connor taking ownership of it. Absolutely. And he was matched up a lot in that series at Chicago series, but Jonathan taves, who in this era is one of the best two way center in the game. And the kind of looked at prophecy saw somebody like Jonathan taves and other guys like Patrice bergeron, those guys, one championships based on being better two way players. I definitely think early on in my career and it's something that maybe I took a little bit for granted and something that's super, super important. You look at all the guys that have won. And so it was all very much driven by Connor himself where he went to the coaching staff and said, what can I do and he took you forward coach of the assistant coach Glenn godson who he really had some hard conversations with and McDavid told him that he's going to be better and Glenn goldston said, and that was a conversation he wished he could have recorded for any young hockey player in terms of the way that McDavid decided that he was going to make himself better. And by being this really talented offensive player who then starts focusing on the defensive side of his game, he sort of joining a tradition of great offensive players who have done that in the NHL and gone on to have success, right? Absolutely. And Steve weissman in the back half of his career, he really became a two way player like but Dano did that as well. But as I kind of touched on there, that was in the back half of those players career when they the offensive game, maybe they'd lost a step in terms of their skating or their skill or whatnot. McDavid's doing this, it has been 20s. When he was right in the prime of his career. But when he wants a puck back, he's one of the best in the league. And taking it off with no pulling the right there, a little cross check a little separation pickpocket that the eyes the back of his head. Again, I think the defensive side of the game has allowed him to become a better offensive player because he was never somebody that really needed to achieve for offense or to, as I say in hockey fly the zone because he can create so much by beating defenseman on Russia's trip by McDavid. McDavid pulls the trigger and he scores. How quickly McDavid is able to counter. There is no hesitation. So McDavid is doing it again in the prime of his career, whereas guys like iceman, medano have to do it more so by necessity to firstly help their teams win, but also because they were in the back half of their careers. Let's jump to last season when we saw the oilers play some really exciting playoff hockey and they reached the Western Conference final before ultimately losing to the eventual Stanley Cup champion Colorado avalanche. You wrote about how Connor McDavid set out to add yet another element to his game coming out of last season's loss. So tell us about that form of self improvement. Climate David has always been a player and he said this repeatedly and you kind of scoff at it based on how creative and offensive player is, but he always says that scoring goals doesn't come easy to him. You know, in junior I used to ace any of the wide open net score, whether that was a nice pass or going through some guys. I used to take it right to the mat and it was like I was that way when I first came into the league, but it was a guy that needed to deak his way basically to the net and have a chance and close. That's how he felt. That's how he's been growing up in minor hockey. And he wanted to add another layer to his game, and that was his shot. And working on his shot for years, his general manager with the Erie otters of the Ontario Hockey League sherry bass and loves to tell a story about

"AP sports I'm David Shuster this year's first major golf tournament is turning into one long day after another and our gram agar's updates us on the masters. The weather has been the big winner for the second consecutive day at the masters with persistent brain forcing the cancellation of the third round after the leaders have played just 6 holes with water pulling on the fairways and greens. Players were caught in and now face a marathon final day to wrap up the tournament when play was stopped, Brooks Koepka was at 13 under for clear of the Spaniard John ram and 7 ahead of the U.S. amateur champion Sam Bennett. Turning to baseball, the mets got a home run from Pete Alonso beating Miami 5 to two in Alonzo loves this mets lineup. I think it's extremely difficult because not just one guy can do the job so it's one through 9. We grind pictures down and it's we make it we make their job as tough as possible. Other national league winners, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Arizona and Washington over in the American League, Tampa Bay now ain't no after downing Oakland 11 nothing while Rafael Devers had two home runs in 5 RBIs, Boston clobbering Detroit 14 5, Minnesota Seattle and the Yankees winning their games, turning to hockey, Dallas edge Detroit two to one with winning goaltender Jay gottinger saying this was a quality victory. It seems that our seasons are pretty much over and those games are hard too, but team as good as Vegas. They're at the top of the box for a reason so I'll move on to the show we can play with them and beat them and it's just a tight fun task. Elsewhere, Connor McDavid had two goals and an assist as Edmonton down San Jose 6 to one McDavid now with 64 goals and 151 points on the season and speaking of points, Sidney Crosby now has 1500 career points following Pittsburgh's 5 one victory over Detroit. Just two games in the NHL, but one had playoff implications for both teams, correspondent Bruce Morton. The penguin snapped a four game losing streak with a resounding 5 to two win at Colorado. Jeff Carter led the way with two goals. That's a big game for us. And standing defending cup champions and team that's been rolling pretty good. So this is a good confidence boost for us and keep going. Carter referenced a 6 game Colorado win streak, which also came to an end. "Like I'm rooting for that very hard just because pound for pound I think they've been the most entertaining team this year and we talked about it in the watch ability rankings or earlier this season. They're just like the most watchable team in the league this year, but for better and for worse because they score a ton and they give up on it's just a lot of high event stuff. Yeah, I mean they're like you and good vibes and offensive rate and vibes. I think would be a bit of a challenge for the bruins. At the same time though, they're just, they're so loose defensively and they make the types of mistakes you'd expect from a team that's in their life cycle where they're at right now, which is on the way up that they're certainly over every one of those games, at least a handful of times where you're just like, why did those Sabres just do that, whether it's a turnover or a dumb penalty or something, and the bruins would immediately make them pay. So in that sense, it would be kind of like humbling because it's a horrible matchup from like an experience and a discipline perspective. But the firepower and the vibes are so there that I think they could at least threaten them in a handful of those games. So I think that's why they lose, but they'd be the most entertaining loss out of the bunch, I think. So I agree with you. I agree. Okay. What's up? My next stick, I have Connor McDavid pushing 70. I think that it's going to be absolutely worth watching. I don't know what was the last time somebody had 70. If you like 91, 92, I have the stats for you to repeat. Yep, this is what we do on the show. So he's on pays for 68 goals, right? Okay. The last time anyone hit 65 was Ovechkin in O 7 O 8, no one's hit 70 since salami and Miguel did it together. Or they did it at the same time the same season in 92 93. Okay. Yeah. Can we hit 76 and 77 games or something like that I believe that Susan? Rages. So yeah, it's been quite a while. Quite a while and it's certainly like one of those things where like growing up at my age, like I look back on some of those stats like salami, even like Mario, Gretzky and you look at those numbers and you look at kind of the way that the league plays now and you're like, how the hell did any of those guys put up that kind of production? And I know like the games change and stuff, but it's kind of like hard to wrap your head around. And I think that we're in the midst of a season right now where even in a few years, people can look at those numbers and be like, how did this happen? And so watching Connor even get close to 70 in you mentioned Ovechkin hitting 65 in that being the only time that he touched that.

Well, I'll tell you the guys who are the actual professionals, they'll tell you they don't even know who's on what team, they just play the math, but those of us who like the bet recreationally. Yeah, you gotta watch and if you have a little bit of an insight on a sport it can certainly help. Boston, one of the best defensive teams in the league, we saw that once they got the lead, they were able to I won't say close it down because that would still have their chances. But at least limit the opportunities and we didn't have any power plays in the first period. I don't think maybe one and it was just a breakneck pace out there and we just need to get a few saves to get the game back on track and luckily that's what happened. Let's look at the Alberta teams for a moment here abs. I mean, is there any sense in putting any money down in Connor McDavid in the heart? At this point, or is it just us? I mean, you know, put a little bit down and you're shooting for the moon, but that seems a little lopsided. And Calgary, you know, just the odds of the Calgary flames making playoffs because they're in there out there in the road. I mean, I'm not sure anybody in Calgary. Well, I'll start with the first question. So, McDavid, last night, I'm watching the game. I'm like, this guy's got to win the heart. Outstanding career of season so far and career, obviously. But I looked at it as like minus a thousand. So if you're what that means is that every $1000 you bet you'll profit a hundred bucks. But I mean, okay, he's gonna win. And if you had that money sitting around and you didn't mind tying it up for until the end of the, I guess it would be June before it was announced, but there could be almost a guaranteed income certificate there like they do with the bank. So then it went to -2000 this morning. So now you're risking a lot of money. And I don't know, even if he got injured tomorrow and I really hope that doesn't happen.

"Play so much on the power play and even at 5 month 5, the velocity that the best offense is the best defense is a good offense, right? So, and the oilers do struggle despite their elite power play. And their top ten in the league and 5 one 5 scoring. They struggle to move the puck out of the zone. Who's better in the league than Erik Carlson doing that. And you look and you watch, I'm not sure how much you're able to watch the game last night between those and red wings, but there were a few times where Connor McDavid and Leon draisaitl were gathering speed out of their own zone, looking for a breakout pass and were missed. They always like to park twice when they had clear cut. Clear possession of the pocket led the goals in their often suing face offs. That's an area that they can improve on. And there's no one and no one better than an air Carlson who can do that. So to me, again, not a guy that I thought of, but the more I think about it, it could work. It's just the money and the assets that they would have to move and to be able to kind of make the trade work that seemed to be the biggest kind of hold up for me. Well, let's take those things one at a time. I'm with you that I didn't initially think about it just because I think as recently as a couple months ago, it would have seemed reasonably unfathomable that Eric also would move anywhere, right? Like it was kind of the contract to use you to so prohibitive in terms of the future commitment. Regardless of what he did, it would just be a no go for anyone, especially with how fly the cap has been, and then how it tied up against it, everyone is. And I think, you know, we should start with as a testament to the type of year in the caliber of play of the level of play. He's been at from the start. That he's reached this point where it's a legitimate discussion, right? Like I think he's gonna win the Norris, I believe. And justifiably, so if you look, he's got 6 more 5 one 5 points than any other skater, not just defenseman in the league he's on a pace for like a 110 points. And so I think we can get into all the minutia of his game and what he'll bring to the table. And I think that is actually a really interesting part of this conversation, right? Because initially, at first blush, a lot of the pushback, I think, as well, boilers have enough skill on their team, like goal scoring isn't a problem for them. They need better defenders, right? I think that's kind of like the thought process that people have typically chosen or the stands they've taken, and that's why they've been linked to guys like a lot of slav gavrikov and Joel edmondson. But it's interesting they've also been linked quite a bit, I think. At various points to John clayburg and Shane goss's bear, right?

"It means so much to play in the Olympics. And for a guy like marchand who, we've talked about it before, has kind of staked his claim as arguably the best left wing, one of the best players in the NHL for half a decade now, right? Like in the fact that he hasn't been able to represent Canada on the Olympic stage and it's something that he has mentioned years ago how much he would take pride in doing that. Of course, it's brutal for these guys. It's brutal for him. You feel for a guy like stamkos who hasn't been able to get that chance before, I don't think he was only a reserve, I think in 2014, he didn't get to play Victor hedman, which shocked me. I felt like he was just like an easy shoe in on some of those teams for Sweden. He's never had a chance, so yeah, you hope that they do something to accommodate some of these players, whether that be like a World Cup, which is what Taylor hall mentioned is something that they should do or Bruce Cassidy to kind of mention during our last media availability. Like what if the NHL just switched gears and participated in the Summer Olympics? Well, I guess what basketball does. Basketball is technically a winter sport. But yes, MBA is not going to grind their season to a halt and let these guys go over there. So why not have it be like kind of the World Cup where July August? Again, these guys maybe sacrifice their summers a little bit, but hell, these guys were also willing to sacrifice frigging four to 5 weeks on a hotel in China, especially the chance to plan it. I feel like that's a very minor concession if it allows you to play in the Olympics. So that seemed like a pretty good compromise for both parties here for the NHL and you don't lose out money and the players get to play on the Olympic stage, but I think it means so much to them. So whatever the case may be, hopefully they're able to get something sorted out and for a lot of these players, because again, I think as much as the NHL doesn't make money off of it, it's so good for the game to have your top stars over on that stage with that exposure. And look how much like the NBA benefited internationally from pro players being over there. And I know hockey is already kind of ingrained in markets outside of North America and Europe, especially, but just to have Connor McDavid up against Austin Matthews and Patrick Kane and all these other guys on that stage with those exposure that the Olympics bring..

It'd be so good at at even strength that with him on the ice the last week it with him as for the bus mind yes that he could be a plus fifty five sixty and only have forty two goals.

Could a Jack Eichel Trade Land Him With the Boston Bruins?
"You want to make a safe bet how about you bet every year around this point of the Season where Jack eichel is unhappy with the situation in Buffalo there every year. It's the annual Jack. Eichel is sick of Buffalo story, but probably won't actually get traded. Maybe this is finally the years but Buffalo continues to lose which I don't know why this is a surprise to him at least like just cuz my God what Taylor home exactly like to be I don't know maybe I guess when you're in that moment, you know when you're on that team you think wow, we just got so much better. But in reality you just got a better scoring Winger on one line. Like it's this isn't the NBA where like you acquire a player of Taylor Hall is Cal log. The NBA and it's like why we are a much better team in hockey. It is four lines and you obviously one score is not going to transform whole team. So Jack eichel is reportedly not super pleased with the losing an awful. Oh, I don't blame him that miss that situation looks miserable. So every time this happens the Jack eichel to the Boston Bruins rumors always like to get straightened up baby back wheels turning on that and I I am so here so here for the even though this like will never happen. There's a less than 2% chance. I'll give it a little chance. But but less than 2% chance this ever could actually happen equal to the Bruins, but you you astutely tweeted out Wednesday morning. Give me your best trade package for Jack eichel Chicago which prompted people to give off their best trade packages. Ron Jackson office a lot of compelling offers. I mean hitmon law, this is my favorite go figure Boston gets or Buffalo gets the Evan marinoff skier F boss gets Jacqueline Connor McDavid, and I said, I think the Prof gets more than just McDavid Michael. I think you might get puter off in there too. Well, here's the thing too. I mean Buffalo is in such disorder and disarray that you need not stabilizing presence there someone that's going to bring Authority and stop the shenanigans. So who better than that having that or not graph to correct? What's been going wrong in Buffalo for decades now, you gotta lay down long. That's what he's going to do. Right right down right now. It's a it's a character thing more than talent and that's the team needs so I continually yeah exactly they need a leader. But so that was a great one quart low lands a little does. He know that Evan and Connor are package deal. So that's a no deal in my books. That's fair. That's that's that's a good point. That's always going to send me the Buffalo wage. Thanks, Buffalo Winnipeg or Edmonton. I'm out on
