Fresh update on "confusion" discussed on The Charlie Kirk Show

"Hey, this is summer for us here, man. Okay, this is awesome weather outside. I'm being completely stereotypical and accurate by the way. So, but if that's more important to you. Oh yes, go on. Go on. Micah aside in those people. Should leave the ministry. I mean, which is that you are not in the ministry to get Instagram likes or social media followers or to go sell books, you're there to proclaim truth or that will bring people closer to ultimate meaning. And I'm afraid that the church far too often has become this kind of celebrity contest of people that are always trying to joust what the world thinks and not what the word says. So the complicit church requires in my personal opinion, direct challenging from the body of Christ and asking these pastors. Wow, wow. It'd be better if you said nothing than you said all this nonsense. And I could go through the names of these pastors and there are these national pastors that do this. And it's so disappointing. And unfortunately, so the most amount of churches are cowardly, then complicit, and then courageous. And so my heart at TPUSA faith is try to make the courageous more empowered and to grow more courageous pastors and more courageous churches in any way we possibly can try to shrink the complicit and try to shrink the cowardly because courage begets courage, right? But here's the thing. Here's how I know that we're trending the right way. The last two years lockdowns, you know, all these different things, the churches that have taken stances on these issues. The ones that have decided to proclaim the truth and not care about the cost in an ironic paradoxical way, their ties have gone up and their membership have gone up, and I could tell you, it is the rule in every corner of the country. We've seen that at life church. It's been amazing. I know pastora McCoy has seen that. I mean, God has blessed our church in amazing ways, ties gone up the membership has gone up. We've seen churches are closing their doors right now in our community, and we're looking around and be like, this has been an amazing season of growth for us. And I think it's because pastor Nathan just said, I'm not going to sit idly by and stay quiet because the world's telling me to be quiet. And that's what's driving, gotta spirit is being poured out on those types of churches. Amen. And the church has to be the place where the body goes for answers. So when the church is cowardly or quiet or silent, then the mom that is right here in this audience right now that gets the question from your 15 year old that just saw TikTok videos saying, hey, why is it wrong that you can choose your gender again? And you go to your pastor in the past, sorry, we don't do that around here. That is a failure to your congregation. Church needs to have the boldness and the ability and the knowledge to go to that mom and say, let me tell you what. Let me tell you what the scriptures say about gender, let me know what the scientific data shows about gender dysphoria. Let me tell you about how just because you feel something, it doesn't mean you are something about how it says in the scriptures your heart will actually lead you astray and so this is where I think the church has an opportunity and if the mom who goes to the pastor doesn't get it from the pastor, she'll go somewhere else. She'll go to some weird like Oprah Winfrey self help book or something. Seriously, some sort of like eastern Buddhist meditative podcast or something. No, seriously. Or she'll go to the view. Yeah, exactly. And. Which is a very real thing, which is they're going to seek counsel somewhere. And so look, there's an intentional spirit of confusion that is trying to come across our land right now. And I think pastors and churches are seeing one of the great opportunities to lead the lost and lead the confused towards truth and towards the natural law and anchor them to reality uncertainty..

Biden’s Taiwan Comments Create Confusion on International Stage

"Right, I want to turn to what else is happening right now at the Democrats and this administration, because you know, presence making some pretty bold statements. On what would happen if we saw China trying to interviewing too much in Taiwan? And he basically said, I would take action. And that was a pretty bold statement. That was unlike anything that we've heard before because he tends to not want to put himself out there in front of these things. And a lot of people believe that this could be a mistake. So Biden's over there in Japan. And he's, you know, doing this. You're not supposed to call it a trade deal because they want to make sure everybody knows it's not some kind of free trade deal. It's a deal to strengthen our economic relations over their in Asia and hopefully hopefully have better relationships with certain countries that aren't China, right? So that we can stand up and have more of a presence against China. Anyway, he was asked about Taiwan and whether or not military involvement would ever be necessary to defend Taiwan and I want to share with you what he said. Yes, that's the commitment we made. We agree with the one China policy we signed onto it and all the attendant agreements made from there, but the idea that it can be taken by force just taken by force is just not appropriate. Okay, so that's kind of a big news flash, right? Because everybody's been a little bit worried about the whole Taiwan situation, given what's happened with Ukraine and Russia and everybody wants to see whether or not President Biden will stand up for Taiwan and stand up to China. Apparently he didn't tell his staff.

"So Joe Manchin's like hey listen a Deb I'm a senator here for the state of West Virginia here And I don't want my citizens to get dead And I'm trying to keep oil and gas prices down So we want to make sure we increase oil and gas production in the United States So why are we shutting down permits here So the hilarious part about this is Deb highland's office issued a letter about not issuing new permits right before she got up there and she's like I don't know anything about it How is it that a U.S. senator knows more about the office of the interior secretary than the interior secretary itself The answer is it's a Joe Biden appointed That's how Here check this out This secretary hall and I don't know Did you all just put out a statement Here's the department of interior just by out of statement And the statement basically says a proposed program is not a decision to issue specific leases or to authorize any drilling or development This is from your office So it looks like you are on a shut everything down Did you know you all put this I am sorry I am sitting in this hearing and not My God somebody shuts it down It shows what you're in ten years This is a mansion sitting there stunned He's holding the memo her office put out And he's laughing like this is this real How is it that I have the interior secretary in front of me I'm asking her about a impactful memo shutting down a lot of leasing and she has no idea what I'm talking about How is that

Harvard, Slavery, and the Confusion of It All

"I'm not quite clear. They were Harvard faculty 65 members, I think you said, who had slaves, obviously in the 19th century. They were sorry, just to interrupt. You just to correct, they said that they didn't specify the number of faculties that they said that between them 70 slaves. 70 slaves. There are 70 slaves on nuts, slave owners, right? I should probably much fewer slave owners because many had more than one. Okay. What on God's earth does that have to do with Harvard and blacks today? I know. No, no. Sorry. Well, you know what? The way you responded? Nothing. It's exactly right. Nothing. Don't make me laugh, Dennis. I have a cough. Right. It's a problem. Excuse me. Sorry to the listeners. This is real. My cough. Enjoy. Right, everything about this is real. No, I want to analyze it. Obviously it was partially rhetorical question. But what would they answer? I don't understand. So in the course of all of Harvard's history and Harvard goes back to the 18th century, so it's one of the first 17. Does that right? It was the 1600s. 16, 36, I think. That's astonishing. I don't even know anything was happening then. Okay, be that as it may, fine. So Harvard goes back all that time and in the entire time it had 70 slaves. It, I mean, members of the faculty or whomever or administration. So I'm not I'm still not understanding what is their argument. We owe the descendants of those slaves, or all blacks, what is their thinking? I don't know, Dennis, that's very interesting. They never really specified what their goal is or what they're thinking here is. The opening of the video that I mentioned, again, there's so much to unpack in that video. But they talk about how Harvard is seen as this perfect place in this ivory tower. The best of the best. And yet, there's an ugly history hidden in the walls. And we must confront this history. I guess that's the closest I can get to what their goal is.

Mainstream Meeting Is Obsessed Over Leaked Kevin McCarthy Tape

"Thing the mainstream media is obsessed with these days, if you look over at MSNBC or CNN, and I did, big mistake. They are fixated on this audio tape and a book by a couple of New York Times reporters hoping to continue to stir and spotlight divisiveness among the Republicans because Kevin McCarthy was on the phone with Liz Cheney two days after January 6th. And Kevin McCarthy on tape said he was going to suggest that president Trump resign. Which is, of course, absurd. He had a few days left in his presidency as my friend Mark likes to say, January 6th, 8 some people's brains. Some people became consumed with confusion, lack of focus, and you know, we've seen the images of legislators with gas masks on hiding under tables in the chamber of the House, the barricades that were put up. We saw the video of Ashley babbitt shot dead by a capitol police officer who was thoroughly exonerated in shooting and killing her. But they had a big pile of chairs, I think we ought to take a little bit of time to have a bit of compassion for how that messed with people's heads.

Hans Von Spakovsky: Analyzing Federal Agencies & Voter Registration

"That executive order they told all these cabinet agencies other offices submit your plans to The White House by September And yet none of those plans have been made public It's not only that there are refusing foia requests Listen I know for a fact personally because I've spoken to some of them state secretaries of state So these are the people that charge of running elections every state They haven't been told What these federal agencies are going to do They haven't been good information which of course look even if there's nothing nefarious about this and I think there is that's going to lead to all kinds of potential confusion and chaos as these federal agencies get involved is something they've never ever done which is voter registration Oh and by the way Dan this entire executive order is based on a complete and total lie If you read the order Biden says he's doing it because of the difficulties with voter registration and barriers to access to the polling places of voters particularly people of color There hasn't been any difficulties with voter registration In fact the Census Bureau The Census Bureau said that in the 2020 election voter registration in this country was higher than in the prior 5 presidential elections And look you keep your posts on news across the country If there were barriers keeping people at a polling place I think we would have heard about it

Ryan Helfenbein: The Extremes of Sexuality Is Being Pushed Leftward

"About what's actually happening, you've probably talked about this on your program, the overton window, where sort of the extremes in our culture of sexuality is continuing to be pushed in a leftward direction. And I don't mean liberal. I mean left, right? Where it no longer even represents humanity. I mean, it goes way beyond the pale. The idea is deconstruction, really at the end of the day, if you have a society that is a sexless society. If you have a society that has taken puberty blockers, had breast removed, as actually surgically has harmed themselves, scarred themselves. This is a generation that becomes the shock troops of a cultural revolution that brings the country beyond the brink of recovery. We can not come back from that. Perceptive friend of mine who was noticing these things. His name is rod Martin. He said, look, you look at a generation and you say, this is back in the 1960s. Get them to hate mom and dad, right? Protest movement. Eventually, though, what happens? They get married. They have kids of their own. And then they realize, aha, mom and dad, we're not that dumb, right? If you get a generation, though, Eric, to hate themselves, they destroy their own bodies, there is no way to come back from that. They never experienced the joy of marriage, they never experienced the joy of children, right? Like irreparably harmed. I mean, but by the grace of God, the only way is Jesus saves, right? So culturally, people are so scarring maligning all of that to where there is no way to bring that back. That's what's happening though. It's sort of the fertile fallacy that's being planted in education at 5, 6, 7, 8. You go all the way back to Stalin, give me your children for four years, right? It's literally that thing. If they can start that early and create enough confusion in children, they'll never be a part of their parents forever. And that is when

When the Church Goes Quiet, Moral Truths Go Into Confusion

"When the church goes quiet, moral truths go into confusion? Pastor say, I don't do that stuff. Oh, you don't do what is a man and what is a woman? Really? What exactly do you do? Do you do what is a baby? Right? No, they don't, right? And so it gets down to what is moral on absolute truth. That's what we're fighting for, right? We as Christians, we believe that there is some unchangeable laws of nature. We also believe there was a God that put those laws of nature into existence. The founders believed it as well. The laws of nature and nature's God. But when you have someone who is a nominee for the Supreme Court, almost in a smug way, say, can I give a definition of a woman? By the way, being a woman and being only appointed to be on the Supreme Court because she's a black woman, say, you know, I'm not a biologist. That should be kind of a cultural time out for us. Like, wow. Why is it the people that used to communicate very basic things have gone silent? And that should be a warning every pastor in the country should have showed that clip to their congregation and said, listen, we don't have to over complicate this. We can go into chromosomal structure, who can have children and can't have children, but at this church, and in any Bible believing church, we believe God created man and God created women. That's a starting point instead, pastors, a lot of them are silent on that issue. So it's not even a matter. It's a matter of, are you going to talk about truth?

"A Tiffany, you describe what you experienced in your school board with your four years there. What is the end state? Have you managed to get to a point where, yes, they've taken control. Yes, they've intimidated parents. They've even helped to isolate individual students who weren't politically correct. Are they just trying to soak confusion or do they just want everybody to be forced to obey their ideology, whatever it is, transgenderism, social justice, what have you? I think that it's definitely orchestrated to force us to have to believe and buy into an ideology. Absolutely. And I think parents are very much seeing that. And what they're saying is that we don't co parent with the government. These are areas in our children's lives. We have fundamental rights to our children to direct their upbringing. And the government needs to get out of our houses, right? Yeah, well, we know this is a socialist concept that children don't belong to families. Right. The state owns the children. And we've heard people say this in American media recently. Melissa Harris Perry was saying it a couple of years ago. A 100%. This isn't new. But I think only recently have parents really, they're awake now, but now they're really seeing it. And I want to tell you about some of the instances happening in Florida. And why HB 1557 was so important. All right, so explain. So talk about HB. 1557. 1557 and how it became a reality. Yeah, no, absolutely. So there were a number of different important bills in Florida this year and we're working really hard to get all of that information out to our chapters. HB 1557 is the bill that was called the don't say gay bill by the media. What a ridiculous moniker to give to good solid parental rights legislation. But I think that's why they had to do it. Well, yeah, because otherwise they have to admit what it is, which is the anti grooming Bill.

He knows why he doesn't know he doesn't just know what you've done. He knows why you did it. You can even do something good and have the bad bad motivations for it. Nobody else in the entire world will know about it. Absolutely. You'll hear about it on Judgment Day. Yeah, you'll have to be in the judgment. We have freedom. We should be joyous in that. Yes. But at the same time, we have to watch our motivations. We can't eat anything at the expense of others. Absolutely. So we're going to go ahead and just do a real quick recap. First one is puffing up and building up is a difference of 18 inches and the difference there is what you've mentioned, what's in my head with puffing up and knowledge if it doesn't travel 18 inches to my heart and affect my motives transformational in my heart. Then my transactions with others are not going to be good. They're not going to represent the kingdom. And when I'm a Christian and I claim to be one, it's not about me anymore. It's about the kingdom of God. Do you want to be trusted with more, show yourself faithful in this? Absolutely. Very good one. The next one is knowledge that creates confusion can create stumbling. And I think we pointed out that knowledge also that creates confusion can create temptations. It can create other kinds of things as well like a lack of commitment, but what all that comes down to is Satan use confusion to leverage an opportunity to take people off their track. And we don't want that for new believers and we don't want it for unbelievers. No, no. You don't want to be assembled to anybody. No, absolutely. When he spoke after your meeting, he shared his frustration with countries like the U.S. who say that a attack is likely to happen in Ukraine, but that you won't put sanctions in place until that happens. The administration has continually said that retaining those sanctions holds on to some leverage. But if you believe Putin is made up his mind, what leverage do you really have? Why not put those sanctions in place now? The purpose of the sanctions has always been and continues to be deterrent. Really, here's what Jen Psaki said yesterday. Prior to February 24, the president, our NATO allies, and the EU were embarked on a deterrence project. That's exactly the word that you and other senior U.S. officials used at the time. Quite clearly, the invasion was launched on the 24th of February. And so we can say as a factual matter that that deterrence project fail. Is it the view of The White House? That mister Putin could not be deterred by any set of steps or are you willing to concede that perhaps some other set of steps by the president and our allies might have deterred the invasion. You know, James, I would say that when we put in place the threat of sanctions in the threat of consequences, we never thought that that would be fail proof

Even though one would think on the road, he's jeopardizing health of his teammate and his opponents just as he would be jeopardizing the health of his teammates and opponents in Brooklyn, if he were to play, not being vaccinated. However, an opposing player who's not been vaccinated can come to the Brooklyn Nets stadium, where Kyrie Irving can not play because he's not been vaccinated, even though that player has not been unvaccinated, and that player can play.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick Speaks to Ukranian Corruption

"Congressman, you've served this country for years with honor and distinction, both as an FBI special agent, a federal prosecutor. You have battled domestic and international corruption. I have to ask you about corruption. You know what's going on in some of the many of the alternative media outlets, lots of talk about Ukrainian corruption. I met a Ukrainian the other day in Florida who told me, Mike, you know, it's awful what's happening to my people, but he had really not a lot of good things to say about zelensky. He said that there is a lot of corruption in Ukraine. That's what helps make this adds to the complication and the confusion for the American people. There's a lot of gray areas here. Can you speak to the corruption in Ukraine, the level of corruption in Ukraine and how that plays into what we're witnessing? Sure. So my last international assignment is an FBI agent was in Ukraine. I lived in Kyiv. Signed out of there. And I can just tell you what my observations were sure. I mean, historically, the former Soviet bloc countries, Eastern European countries, have a high corruption index because Russia is corrupt. So they're still generational lag over effect of that. But I will tell you, Mike, one of my responsibilities there, one of my many responsibilities was to help Ukraine meet their NATO metrics. And there were falling short on two fronts. Number one, economic and two anti corruption in what we knew at the time, and I have no reason to think that that changed since I left, was much of their corruption problems were not because of the Ukrainians, but because of Russian saboteurs that were sent in by Vladimir Putin to corrode and infiltrate their institutions, their judicial system, their law enforcement system, their RADA, their financial networks, to make sure that that corruption metric was never met so that Ukraine could not become part of NATO.

You're Living Through a Massive Realignment on Every Level of Humanity

"You are living through a massive political governmental, economic and spiritual realignment that will be one of the greatest moments in the history of humanity. You are seeing media companies that once seem to be untouchable, shatter into a million pieces in front of you. You are seeing tech companies that seem to be once untouchable, be confused and disarray. It is the genesis 11 moment of Tower of Babel. That which tries to build the challenge God, he will scatter and to places of confusion. And the regime, as I call it, which is a kind of set of forces altogether, is starting to crumble. You're seeing it all around you. And Europe, you might be a pastor right now, and you might be on the fence. But here's what I could tell you. Your congregants right now, they're fighting for their liberty every single day. I guarantee you, if you're here in this and you have not yet spoke about this or you've not done the way that you probably might. And I was like, I don't know. I guarantee you your congregates are showing up to school board meetings. Your congregants are now deciding to homeschool. And they are fighting for liberty and deep down. They are praying and they're saying, I just want for one Sunday a year from my pastor to give me just a minute of affirmation to say, good for you. You're standing up against tyranny. You're pushing back against the bad guys. You're doing the right thing. And you could, this Sunday, next Sunday, next month, three months from now, be the spark plug that could give your congregants the reinforcement and the encouragement they need to be informed and active citizens.

"confusion" Discussed on Your Daily Prayer

"A prayer to ease confusion. Written by Christine Brown and read by Kelly givens. Now faith is the assurance of things hope for. The conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11 one. We hold the key to endless information at our fingertips. One click or swipe and we're instantly transported to the next current event opinion or tidbit of news. Real or fake? Can we trust the source? Yes, exposure to the world's happenings has its benefits. But sifting through each article, considering different perspectives and staying up to date can be overwhelming. Lately, I've been enticed with information overload. Mimi dazed and confused. What should I believe? Who should I listen to? When confusion threatens, and I start feeling overwhelmed with it all? God's word provides the antidote. The only thing that helps when confusion takes over is the certainty of my future hope. Chapter 11 of hebrews gives us an inspiring look at the meaning of faith. It includes examples from biblical heroes who displayed faith, even though they didn't get to see some of God's promises during their time on earth. As Hebrew's 1139 reminds us, and all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised. Since God had provided something better for us. Abel, Enoch, Noah, and more. Their lives showed straight through trials and offered the one truth we need to hold on to when confused by circumstances surrounding us. We have the one true God who gave his son to be our savior. Jesus Christ are living hope. Our assurance in the hope of Christ will ease any confusion we feel. As we go through our day, let's make choices that reflect the faith we have, rather than the confusion created by the world. Uncertain times may abound, but God's promises remain certain. But this prayer ease any confusion we may feel and bring us back to the assurance God freely gives. Let's pray. Dear heavenly father. Thank you for the truth of your word, which allows us to walk in confidence rather than defeat and certainty rather than confusion. Sometimes in our effort to stay informed, we get confused by all the voices of the world. Trying to sort out what's real and what isn't, leaves us overwhelmed. Thank you for showing us a better way. We claim your promise that we can confidently say the lord is my helper. Help us make life giving choices today, as we hold without wavering to the assurance of your son Jesus. He is our one true hope. Help us also to look to scripture for answers in the midst of all the differing opinions we hear. When we struggle to discern truth, we pray that your word will be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. John three 16 shows your unending love for us with the simplicity we need in times of turmoil. For God's soul love the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. When our minds fall into the trap of confusion, bring this first back to our remembrance. Let the assurance of your message ease our confusion. You are worthy of our praise lord. In Jesus name,.

"So again to just remind people what what happened. In september seventeen fifty two. It was basically decided that wednesday. September second seventeen fifty two would be followed by thursday september fourteenth. Seventeen fifty two now. That's seventeen fifty two. But kelly hinted at it. Never underestimate people's ability to get upset about something and to turn something into a political wedge issue so even in the election of seventeen fifty four a couple years later this remains a seemingly political issue between the election between the whigs. Yeah and there's a painting that's done by william hogarth and it's seventeen fifty five and in the painting it's entitled an election entertainment and it has a stolen tori campaign the banner. That has the slogan. Give us back. Give us our eleven days. You can see it sort of in the lower right hand corner in the toys outside the window in this picture. Demonstrating and picketing and and. It's it's interesting because i think you know. If you were not paying attention you would sort of blow by this whole moment but just goes to show you how transformative it was in the lives of people who were living through this and there were these real suspicions that this new calendar that had been imported from the continent was actually part of a catholic conspiracy that it was To to popish a calendar for the people of britain to us at a time when again like the distinctions between protestant and catholic where something many people still found worth fighting over all right. I think i feel less than i did. At the beginning of the i think okay so that's one less one more. I'll go there. "Do stuff from very early on in our history the sixteen hundreds in the early seventeen hundreds and we recently got a note from a listener armory wondering which calendar we are using when we do stuff from before the seventeen fifties s. And that is one of those questions folks where you don't even realize you were doing something until they ask you why you're doing it. But here's the deal. In seventeen fifty to britain and the british empire switched from the julian counter to the gregorian counter. And right around this time early. September of seventeen fifty. Two britons went to bed on september second. They woke up on september fourteenth counter to switch in lost those twelve days so here to discuss the julian took a gory and switch over. How confused we can possibly make ourselves and listeners. Over the course of this and more importantly whether we need to go back in issue corrections on all of the episodes done from before seventeen fifty. Two are nicole columbia. Kevin jackson of leslie. I'm confused an existential crisis about this. Entire podcast what are we even. What is time. what is this day. Is this day or real thing every time you do. We do an episode out money. It's like what is money. Now we're doing what is time and so listeners. Yes we're going to revel in the confusion here much as people in the seventeen fifty dead when they did the switch over but we also try to provide some information and it does seem like at some basic level. There are two tracks on which discounters were being assessed and the switchover from julian. To gregorian happened. One is this larger shift from. We're going to organize our lives in our world. And our societies around a sort of religious worldview to a more enlightenment technocratic worldview and the other is a little more nuts and bolts related. But it's like the jewelry. The julian counter had some inherent like math flaws. In the gregorian calendar was an attempt to maybe rectify some of those and this is really important because the julian calendar was off in its measurement of the solar year by eleven minutes and that matters because not only. Do you have this drift. That could be fixed as we do. Our normal Calendar with the leap day or something like that but he just meant that the days were off more and more so easter for instance was more and more disconnected from the equinoxes and that matters in terms of the holiday itself and so you had to introduce a fix at some point and countries on the continent of europe fixed it super early. They fix it. In the sixteenth century in fifteen eighty two places like france and italy and poland and portugal and spain. All saying okay. We're gonna go with the good calendar that's correct and britain. Being britain Hangs on to the old ways of doing things for a few hundred more years and the gregorian calendar is the calendar that we all know. It's the solar calendar by three hundred sixty five days in broken up into twelve months and so we know we're familiar with each month having like thirty days or thirty one days in february having twenty eight and then there's the leap year that's every four years. We even though even all of that sounds confusing. We have adjusted ourselves to this gregorian calendar. I cannot imagine. I was saying earlier high. Get so messed up by daylight savings time. I cannot imagine taking away days let alone add or adding days. I would be perpetually grumpy for a decade well especially when your life is so tied to the seasons and the calendars a way of marking those seasons and now all of the side. And you're saying oh well those those ten days there those eleven days there y- you don't need those right about. Of course the you know. A solar calendar makes more sense because though seasons are consistent and they come around tying it to that. I think that that what. I'm trying to say is i think i'm pro- gregorian calendar Which i know is a country. I am pro the liberty calendar which is something that's going to be introduced much later but it's something that my dad used to talk about all the time when i was growing up. You'd be so mad because he'd be like you know what they could do. They could make every month twenty eight days. It would mean that the first of every month falls on the same day of the week second on and on and on everything would be very ordered and regularized. You could have thirteen months. That accounts for three hundred and sixty four days. You add a new year's day and then a bonus floater and all of a sudden you've thought like the regular calendar and it's anything where you're like. It's really simple you do this. And this and it's like and then you just it makes sense but but look the larger story here there trying to paint. We're actually showing. It is one of confusion. And you know. This is a period in which this switchover leads to a lot of confusion. A lot of politicization You know different. People moving at different speeds and different times so to speak obviously has echoes of daylight savings. Time time zones. I think we've done episodes on or referred to moments where you know time zones are introduced and all of a sudden towns are split up or certain parts of the country that are holdouts on daylight savings. That's all and we see that that's controversial. Now there's a con- you know breakout conversations about daylight savings time happening all around you know almost every year. It feels like in this moment to come back to this email. We got from our listener. Saying you know. What data are you using when you talk about stuff before. Seventeen fifty two. Are you using the gregorian data. The julian date. And i actually don't think i have an answer to that our producer jacob sort of looking into this. I mean we usually go off of you know websites wikipedia. You know do research documents. I think most of those are grounded in gregorian assessment now but there is a chance that when we say something happened on a certain date in seventeen fifty one. It actually happened ten twelve. Thirteen days shifted from that. Because i guess in theory it could be a lingering julian date or whatever but there's also this fascinating the happens in this period. Where as the switchover is happening. And there are certain countries that are hold out certain countries that are adopting You get this really fascinating thing where people are starting to use both dates at the same time and so if you look at historical documents of the time you will sometimes see people writing like two different dates at to mark stuff and so people were navigating this no surprise in in real time. It's just it's remarkable to me. How people interpreted the the loss of days because people thought that their lives were being in that they have lost like eleven days of their life. And so it's like now. I'm going to die you know a fortnight earlier than what i had planned. I mean it's this starts right. It's actually i mean there's literal chaos where people are out in the streets demanding. Give us back our eleven days. Like people don't know how to make sense of this And i think it's you know it's crazy that again if we trip over the loss of an our but eleven days is is incredibly difficult to reconcile. I'm going to declare myself on the side of the rioters because my birthday falls within that chunk of days that were excised in seventeen fifty two. And we're do. Those people go for their presence. Where do they go for their celebration. That has been stolen from them in the midst of this big change. I wait until next year open. That's unfair. what if what if but they also get to say that. There are a year younger than that great. You know so. It's like you were about to happen thing feeling all this sort of existential dredner early prices and all of a sudden you could. What have you were young. And you were about to turn twenty one and now you've got to wait another year.

"As we see it from the last twenty four hours tuesday. August twenty four twenty twenty one very difficult video to watch coming from a place that i know very well that i lived for two years knowing how passionate certain people are these locations specifically in hawaii. I'm talking about in my mind but specifically locations that you know have a certain kind of tribal community that is different than what we see in other places and it is unreal to realize that these the person like that is being put in that position. It is hard to watch. Actually did that being that starting out. The show is important. And it's not because it's an emotional. This is the argument you could make about. Something being emotional. The idea that this is manipulative now. Yes emotion is not necessarily make something valid but the point is it's not that he's upset. The point is that this is a personal dedicated his entire life to fighting for for other people when he's now being told that he doesn't get to do that anymore if he doesn't do something that's out. It's not his choice. Something he has already decided not to do. Something has every to say no to something. That's being shown to be dangerous for a lot of different reasons. And it's now being forced being mandated or we're gonna discuss that today now. I apologize about the delay. Start the show today. we're having a little bit of issues. Some super you issues and it was a little confusion. And i wasn't sure if we were going to be able to broadcast on super you today. By the fact that it's used since congress supposed to come together and pass laws and not just pretend they're budget tweaks but yeah that three point five trillion dollar package i think is mostly aspirational so the democrats can portray themselves as we wanted to give you all sorts of money trillions of dollars free babysitting free everything in the republicans made us stop. We're so sorry. No vote for us. Got a couple of amazing things that are happening around covert and masking and mandates and all that sort of stuff that we to next segment as there's been turned in that whole damn story trying to figure out what's going on man. It was a crazy week of conflicting statements from doctors and administrators. And all that. But we'll try to iron that out for a little bit. Next segment of the ongoing spike in gun and ammo sales continues as the july numbers. Have come in a lot of people buying guns and ammo including first-time buyers. It is hard to buy ammunition because it doesn't exist now. It's hard to buy in california because they've made it you were. You weren't here joe. But i tried to buy a box of ammunition I've got this piece of paper with all of this information on here. That i have to come up with and how will take a while. The preliminary paperwork would be twenty four hours to ten days to get that back. And then once i get that in along with the ninety three dollar fee for applying for the right to buy bullets for my gun and then another twenty five dollars for the paperwork. It could be anywhere. They told me from three days to six months..

"From the abraham lincoln radio studio and george washington broadcast center. Jack armstrong and joe getty armstrong and getty show the new york post headline is. It's in it's big. I don't like that As a headline but it's not necessary produce a one trillion dollar infrastructure bill. They worked over the weekend and In a special session and late yesterday on a sunday it past the initial voting and nobody really understands all the voting that goes on the senate anyway it past the initial voting and the twenty seven hundred page five hundred fifty billion dollars in new spending. That's in addition to all the spending that was already going to be spent another half. A trillion in new spending got voted on and passed good roads bridges waterworks broadband electric grid charging stations for electric car. You name it. Sixty six billion dollars for rail okay. Is it going to be used to train. Is it going to be. Is it going to be a stupid as the bullet train in california. You got thirty. Nine billion dollars for public transit. Is it going to be a whole bunch of stupid public transit that people don't use doubling down on things that are already are a lowly used probably share light rail etc. Which for some reason is the darling of the environmentalist. But that's sixty six billion dollars for rail. I mean that's just got to be like more subsidies for amtrak or something. Because i'm thinking amtrak a lot of it is amtrak. Yeah okay yeah repairs for real because the calendar cornea bowl spit train. Which will never run by the way i mean..

"I mean so it has. You're right well. Then we put the shit in the tub exactly. And so that's why i was like. Is this another thing wear. Did she drug her and get her off and then she got her off so well that she didn't know what happened but she woke up the flowers of there. So that's what i'm like. Okay so these things are happening. So i start thinking. Maybe she has been dragging her like. That was where i was in this. At this point right. She's dragging her to like mess with her or something And make them feel and crazy and then take over her life fats. Where i was at this point that makes a ton more sense like you know typical me. I'm a few few minutes late to the party. But i was like thinking. I was definitely confused puzzled. But i was also like something suddenly happened i think were. They tried to create confusion to the whole thing in the beginning with mary. When she's like. When i'm writing a book i become a real fucking nut job and you know so. Then you're kinda like well. Is she truly like the villain and she's making this up or you know i i was just it was just a real real who done it for a while was and you kind of fast forward. She's writing and and she's in the zone and putting up note cards and the kids aren't allowed to disturb her. And and then grace leaves with tom and to drop off the kids or something at school and elaine is watching it and she doesn't like it she doesn't she sees them together and she just doesn't like it and then they go to lunch and gray starts actually acting really weird with tom now and she orders a bloody mary which is kind of bold to do to your boss with millions of your take care of their children later that day. Yes sure although she never seemed to take care of the kids. So you're at lunch with with the father of the the your charges in you know he takes you to launch your you know I'm just going to have a side salad and a long island. What is not. You're not supposed to do that. No and then he and then he asked her how old she is so heated. Either is wrong with the two of you. Well and then of course she does. She does the thing we're we're in his he a bad egg because he's licking his chops looking matter looking at her cleavage. You know i couldn't tell. She likes stretched and he just. I thought he looks uncomfortable. Because then they got in the car and she started dancing and to a song enacting all trying to be guest seductive or something towards him and that he gets super awkward like old man dancing like kind of like over by you know i try to act on the is cities. Use of the funniest visuals there. Oh it was all. I could that he was doing biting his lip and act. Try to act cool with her. I wanted them to drive off the road. That was almost more uncomfortable in the previous dancing. But yeah and then they just smash two three weeks later later marrying grace scott they go on a nice bike ride and they start having wine to celebrate her first draft and i just the whole tone and dialogue of everything really from this point on was weird. It was already weird before but nothing. I just can't understand couldn't understand what was happening. I mean they yeah she starts reading to her and and you like orange tree in some shit. Yeah grace starts rubbing her legs and then they kiss.

"So it will do anything to throw us into confusion and keep us in our limited thinking. Okay so this is one of the ways. The subconscious mind confuses. You and you don't have to do it that way. Okay so you have to stay open to the solutions and you have to focus on what you want. Okay so i gave him. I was like okay. So what does he want. He wants to sell the second. But you can. You can map this out for yourself. He wants to fill his program by such and such time with this many people in it but he doesn't want to do it by quote unquote burning out his list. Now instead of arguing with him about whether it would infect burnout has list. I want him to have a few chiller wins under his belt. Let's do this relationship based selling. That solution was always here. He just wasn't seeing it because he was in confusion. Hope that makes sense. Okay the last one is to go into figure it out mode. This seems pretty straightforward. Okay for most people and yet you probably have also had the experience of being in confusion in not feeling like you had it all figured out okay and sometimes people go into helplessness. If that's you you just wanna make a note of that and recognize that. That's because you're stuck in the line not because you're wrong or bad okay. Not because you're you should be in judgment of yourself. It's just that your stock in a lie. Okay and you need. You may need to work with someone. Who has the experience doing what you want to do. And ask them for their health. That's part of why it's faster to work with a mentor than to do it alone. Okay that says you can't give a personal responsibility here. The last person personal responsibility is excuse me at play always so even if you're working with with a mentor you need to start going into figure it out mode okay if this is challenging for you if you don't know how to do this certainly asking better questions is one of the key ways that you can help yourself figure something out so instead of staying in though. Why isn't this working or this is so bad. Isn't this so bad. Kind of line of questioning can say. How can i blink. How can i solve this. How can i get to what i want. Okay that's you have to know what you want. How can i get what i want. Okay and how if the want is. How can i hire both team members when i'm currently Can only afford one. Okay the lie is that you can only currently afford one. Because the money's here it's here now so what would you need to do to create that money. How can i create money for two team members. Okay that's asking a better question. And then it's giving a directive to your subconscious and then your subconscious starts hunting for the answer. Okay now this requires that.

"confusion" Discussed on The Unstoppable Woman®

"You have to see this confusion as indicating that there is a line now. What do we mean by a lie here. So it represents a limited view of the situation. You're only seeing half a truth. Half situation half the half an understanding if you will but of course everything is created as a whole so there is further understanding that you are not seeing so the lie is that it's not there that the solutions not there that the answer is not there that the the opportunity is not there it is always here and this is the intellectual understanding that you need that i will get to in a moment to really break free from the inaccurate thinking so the lie indicates that you have some sort of inaccurate thinking. An accurate thinking is key. It's key to your freedom. It's key to solving problems quicker. Let's just play this out. Because i'm a business coach and i help women you know. Some men behind the scenes really move through the lies that they've created for themselves based on their belief system and their identity their self image in order to make faster quicker decisions on the things that they need to do in their business to grow it. If you're in confusion you are one stuck in the light to. You're not able to make that decision for yourself. You stay in indecision which is a recipe for staying stock and stopped decisions whether they end up with the results that you conceive of as good good results or results that you conceive of as that's not what i want it bad results making. That decision is a thousand times better than not making a decision at all and it will speed up your ability to execute on the things that you need to do in your business. So this is one of the things that slows people down. They end up in a lot of confusion. What do i do next. What's the best marketing path. What's the best way to reach this kind of client to price. Position my offerings. What's the best way to sell. What's the best way to grow my audience. What is the best way to sell at a higher price point right all these questions come up. Should i be doing this or should i be doing then. I just had a client. Text me yesterday. Confused about what. She should be focusing on because offer came in her world. That seemed like the greatest next thing to do would solve this problem over here and she went into confusion because she didn't know is this. Is this really good to follow. Orders the distraction. That's confusion okay. But when there's confusion there's always a lie so you have to unpack. What the lie is okay. I want to give you a little bit more on this. And then i'm gonna give you conceptually a little bit more on this and then we're going to go through how to really step by step. Approach this for yourself. So the next thing that you need to remember is that heaven is our natural state. What do i mean by that. You may have heard me say that already. It's one of the things that i teach regularly. You have to understand this. Yes as humans. We have pain. We have suffering. We have emotional ups and downs. That exists. I am not saying that pain and suffering do not exist. They do however when we experience them..

yesterday half a truth half one of the things Half situation one thousand times understanding

"So if you're in confusion you are only looking at half of thing. Your awareness is not yet big enough. It's being blocked. You are being blocked from seeing the answer because of that blind spot because of that. Line in this episode of the unstoppable woman. Podcast we are going to do a deep dive into what confusion means so confusion. Is this experience that we as humans enter into every so often probably more often than we'd like to admit given that you're a high performer. And you're going forward and you're really executing on on your goals. There are times that you go into confusion and it's important to know what to do with that information what to do when you go into confusion what it means and how to navigate it so i we have to look at what confusion is where you're saying things like i don't know what to do. I don't know what i want. I don't know what's stopping me. I don't know how to make this decision. I don't know what to do in this situation. I don't know x. y. and z. Not in a okay. Just the facts. That's data. I don't know the marketing tool that. I need to solve this problem right now. That's a very neutral of asking that question. The way i'm asking this that that indicates confusion is one. It's a panic and helplessness. So it can be a varying varying degrees of panic maybe slight maybe intense. And then also this idea of helpless. I don't know how to do this. I'm i'm helpless in this situation. That's that's what you need to be looking for in the confusion. Okay there's also confusion that comes when you feel like you don't have choice that there is not a good option for you which would fall under the heading if you will have not knowing what to do or not knowing what you want and there. This is a great moment to make them big point of this episode right at the very beginning that when there's confusion there's a lie you know i want to write that down. You're gonna wanna like post it. Note that someplace you're gonna want to remember when there's confusion there's a lie. That's that's the the concept that's going to set you free now. There are some steps that you have to take after that. But you have to remember that. Initially initially.
