Twitch signs rapper Logic to an exclusive seven-figure deal

"Let's talk a little more about the rapper. Logic Aka Sir Robert Bryson Hall the second signed an exclusive streaming partnership. With soundcloud not with spotify with twitch, it's the services first exclusive streaming deal with a musician in an interview with the Verge Hall said the deal was worth. Seven figures didn't give the exact amount, but said he's been active on twitch, since two, thousand, fifteen or twenty sixteen, his first stream, as part of the deal will be July, twenty first with a premiere of his self-proclaimed final album called no pressure. They said he also plays. Plays Video Games so he's going to be doing that on there as well I think. It's interesting Sarah that we're seeing twitch makes deals with non video game, purveyors, or players as we see, facebook and Youtube tried to sign people away from twitch. Yeah, no, kidding! I mean logic is whether or not you're familiar with his music. He's A. He's a big artist. This is somebody that's going to get a lot attention for twitch. Whether. He's huge Gamer or not I mean. He says you know he's familiar with. She's been hanging out on twitter for the for the last four or five years kind of thing you know that probably helped the deal become that much sweeter, but I wonder how somebody like a musician who supposedly retiring at least from what we consider the traditional music route. I Dunno people retire all the time. And then they come back to the music industry, but but but yeah, like what does you know? What is this kind of exclusive access to a person, and they might do all sorts of things besides what you know them for and twitch being one of those things and it. Be In this live kind of thing because you get that on Instagram, you do get that on Youtube. You have a variety of places to do this, but the exclusivity part is very interesting. Yeah Caitlin I, Dunno, if you follow any of the twitch, streamers are not. I'm a little bit here and there. I've used the platform I've watched him shows. And really all I have to say about this is. That is really interesting. The music industry I'll kind of change its ways because it had to, it had to update. People were going out and buying CDs anymore. You know people aren't buying full albums. They're buying songs individually so they had to figure out some different ways of generating revenue and seeing them partnering. You know artists partying with twitch or seen what fortnight has been doing with their concerts? And watching this video games slash music crossover has been really interesting, and frankly I like it because it's interesting. My kids who are more into gaming than they are music to different things, yeah. I mean it's kind of a renaissance. Move Right and I think it's really smart for logic to to say like I don't want the pressure despite the name of my final album to always be on me to to you, know actually I that is the name. It's no pressure I. Don't want the pressure to be on me for music. He doesn't say he's going GONNA. GonNa stop making music, but he's not gonNA feel pressured to always be putting out an album. Because now he's got a direct pipeline to his fans and I think that's that's really interesting. Aspect of this is. Is they creator saying I don't WanNa? Be just a musician, just a video game player my question is. Are we to get mixed tape, logic or album logic? And that remains to be seen, but yeah, I mean that's a really good point. for an artist to be like okay. Well I've been super successful in one arena, but I want to do some other stuff, but it's not super clear what those dreams are going to be yet, and it was just logically and video games. Okay, well, that would that would sort of true with which audience, but it might not be, and it might open up a lot of other opportunities for other artists as well. I think we're an interesting time right now. Where a lot of are celebrities, a lot of our big names are people that are simply known for the colts of personality. They're not necessarily known for being additions being actors doing things there. We have the know reality stars. We have people that are famous, just because of who they are, so it's really. Interesting, see these people make the people that are established WANNA. Rea- make that transition to see if they can kind of cut it being famous just for meme.

Beauty Business News: Forvr Mood, Patrick Starr, Fenty Skin and More

"That's quite a lot of news which is very exciting and a lot of business news, which is like super-duper. Going, on in a start with three really good business news like news, the three business news it was the new news is three new launches, which is Yup. I'm dead excited about I. One I feel like this has been coming forever and ever and ever and people are excited is Jackie. Aina has announced her brand is coming out. And it's called forever mood. It's the forever moon. It's very exciting I. Feel like this is just writing. That's been talked about forever. She's been teasing it for whatever and it feels like it's finally finally coming. There's not much to say at the minute apart from that skull forever mood. There's no e in the forever. It's just F. O.. V are. Because at night stylized we like it. But as soon as we got more information on that, we will share it. Yep and second launch, which again excited, and they've just announced the first U. products in this range, which I did not see coming. And this is the Patrick Star one size launch? so He's been teasing again for awhile. He's been teasing on his youtube videos getting people to get viewers to send them little videos of them. Saying like bt is a one-size-fits-all turns out right because it is brand is called wants is. The way is this program to stop beauty. So this is just so. You're thinking of Patrick Tar beauty. And Onto Patrick. And you know it says on this podcast. Confuse those two people I am not how? How dare I say moment? Names of very similar. I'm Marilyn up by twenty ounces. Early sat in a restaurant with two that you would I know often jess and Her friend who worked for LEMAIRE and they were. Running an event with Patrick tar and they were talking about Oh. Yeah, as I fear on the plane, he should be here any minute and I was like no I've just seen him on instagram. He's like in Hawaii and they were like. On. A beauty Jeddah's like this is why I think we have to change my name to unprofessional. In front of me of to. Supposed to know a whole podcast audience, but like they know. I mean I'm not I'm great with faces, names and they've faces a very different, so you would have been dying. This is Patrick saw our because. And yet his brand, one size, and it's going to be in Sephora for the initial lawn. We'll know more about where it's going to be internationally as we go on on the first two brands that have been at first you products are either have been announced the go off makeup, dissolving missed and the go off makeup remover wipes. Okay so skin, cal skincare, but definitely make up remover. I think you have indicated this. Yeah they. Edged into skin care, but it was with an eye makeup removal rather than clothing, which is in an interesting extension of the cleansing category as the crossover between cleansing a makeup. Cleanser it's makeup remover. I'm on the fence about you need. Make remove I guess if you wearing a lot of makeup, you do it. These I always find those mists and the makeup remover sprays fascinating how they work I don't stand there. Witchcraft you spray on in your whole face melts off like Indiana. Jones like death becomes her. It's totally mad. The interest to see what else is coming. The packaging is gorgeous. It's all is bright metallic read. It reminds me a little bit of. So. Body sprays from the ninety S. Yes, I remember. Like a metallic red spotty red packaging. That looks really cool. We'll see welcome to come I did a bit of background research on this, and it's because I always brand. That's come from Sephora like Marc Jacobs yet. Betty itself actually. And it's not. It's coming from an incubation group called luxury brand partners, and a also look after Smith and colts. That's where it's myth and cult came from the nail Polish brand, and they were the money behind Becker before they sold Bekker's trae lording. Yes, so CEO was a form of Becca CEO. So. They've got a lot of. Beauty expertise in the gang. Interesting an interesting. Yeah it's going straight into Sephora and it's not a Sephora incubated. Brandon's competes brand. One come from luxury brand partners, so yes, since we get more news on one size, we'll let you know and then the other news, which is hot off the presses Hof. scold inch. Is Fantasy. Skin has just been announced. Again thinking about it and my head I was like wait. Not already accessible I'm like no, no, it doesn't. That's going to be exciting. July thirty first on skin dot com, even going on anti-beauty is is entirely its own thing. While I kind of like the savage frontier. The extensions like it's going to be like in separating. What's interesting? Really really interesting I'm curious as to see how that's going to go i. don't know what the product is going to be. It's literally just dropped as a logo an. Yes, so no more will no more and the last piece of Christmas. News we want to mention is. We had a big pre compensation. We had a meeting about the yes. About this one. I think it's an important piece of news share. Without necessarily getting into our personal thoughts and feelings on it, because we have and that's for another time. MORPHE- have ended their relationship with Jeffrey medics, which is huge news huge, yeah! I think that's going to be. Lots of people talking about your Fisher. Of. Discussion and debate as to what his involvement was with Morpheus. A company is whether or not he owned of more viewers investors like the. It was quite unclench. But what we do for sure is. He is a massive massive revenue driver form OFI, so it's a huge step for them to terminate that relationship and out that of his supply chain, so think is, it's jeopardy. Saw Cosmetics Company. Yet the company, so I mean interesting. We'll see what happens with morphine now where they go. Yeah, but just a business news

Refuting Ben Shapiro

"Here's how he starts. His most recent show Republicans brought up in the Senate a police reform bill and the police reform bill didn't give Democrats everything they wanted. For example, it did not outright. Ban Choke chokehold. It said that departments has to take a look at chokehold and decide how they would be applied, and the federal government would make its funding contingent on particular procedures. Put in place with regard to. To choke, hold now. They're a bunch of Democrats who think the chokehold should outright ban because either they are mischaracterizing what a chokehold is. There's a difference between a chokehold and a and a mission hall, or they're trying to deprive law enforcement of a tool, the sometimes require in order to make a situation more quiescence. Okay, hold on so right there the difference with a choke hold and a submission hold. What is he talking about? I know he's hinted at being a part of Brazilian Jujitsu. I have to. You know that some submission is called. It's called a rear naked choke. You're squeezing the carotid arteries of someone to reduce the oxygen flow to their brain, so yeah, if you have your bicep on the right carotid artery in your forearm, pressing into the left side. If you, do it properly it safe. The problem is most police. Officers are not trained to do it properly. You can watch the training. You can see them fight people in public I, personally have been a Ju. jitsu Jim where cops come to fight. They do not understand the actual and breakdowns of Brazilian Jujitsu on how to properly apply a rear naked choke. They don't do it correctly. They will crush your larynx. They stop your breathing. That's not what choke is supposed to do. Okay, and let's be clear. Clear to that. That I think just stopping. The colts is also misguided even on the Democrat side I think it's misguided I think it needs to talk about bodyweight on. Someone's back the ability to breathe while you're leaning on. Someone's back as fixation we need. We need to ban all sorts of things like that, but I don't think it's fair to say that. They're mischaracterizing a chokehold from being a submission hold because nobody's preventing cops from putting someone in an arm bar. Let's be clear about that. That as opposed to being forced to use deadly force in a case where somebody is resisting, arrest me, and this is really one of the instances in which officers you see, an officer and the officer is trying to put somebody into submission. Hold read they're trying to. They're trying to deprive oxygen to the brain, not the personnel, or at least put the person and more quiet than state. The alternative to that is the person continuing to thrash around struggle. Maybe grabbed. The officer's got bent so often talks in. In absolutes he is so black or white absolutes. You're going to hear him today. Say things like every single time. It's not true all they want. It's not true. These these are Straw man after Straw man after Straw man of the Democratic position and I WANNA. Be Clear I'm not a registered. Democrat I'm an independent I consider myself a liberal I, don't I don't say I'm a leftist and I'm certainly not on the right and here lately. I can't even say have even been in the center I'm. Left of center, but I'm a liberal if you have any of credibility. You should pay attention to rappaport rules, and if you don't know what that is, look up Dan Dan. It read his books and or Google rappaport rules, and the very core of reports rules are. If you don't fully understand someone else's argument, you're not yet ready to create an argument against him. You should be. You should be able to state their argument back to them in a way that they say. Wow, yes, that's the way I feel and I. Wish I would put it that way once you can do that to someone then you're willing to make an argument against them. But these blind strokes of of all and and absolutes are just crazy, and that's not the alternative. Ben If you walk into a situation assuming I either have to choke you or shoot you because I'm an occupying force here to make the streets. then. Yeah, you're going to be violent. Either way these yeah, the choke holds pretty. Damn Nice when you put it that way. That shouldn't be the cops job.

"We'll fake. He said we might be back with an emergency podcast just amid twenty four hours after according to last one and back, we are because there have been developments in. The covid nineteen crisis that's been developing on the Adra tool. For probably over the course of the past two weeks, but is only presented itself to us over the past few days. We've obviously been following an extremely closely. We're expecting a statement from the world number one and one of the organizers of the Adra Tool. Novak Djokovic today and we have had the statement. In fact, we've had to statements from the world number one. Read you the first one just now. It starts off by confirming that Djokovic has indeed tested positive for Covid nineteen immediately upon his arrival in Belgrade he was tested along with members of his family and his team He wasn't showing any symptoms, and he says that his result is positive as his wife Yelena. Both tested negative. He goes onto. Say Everything we did. In the past month we did with a pure heart and sincere intentions. All Tournament meant to unite and share message of solidarity and compassion throughout the region. The tool has been designed to help both established and up and coming tennis players from Southeastern Europe to gain access to some competitive tennis while the various tools are on hold due to the covid nineteen situation. It was all born with philanthropic idea to direct all raised funds towards people in need, and it warmed my heart to see how everybody strongly responded to this. We organized the tournament at the moment. The crisis has weakened believing that the conditions for hosting the tool had been met. Unfortunately, this virus is still present, and it is a new reality that we are still learning to cope and live with i. am hoping things will ease with time, so we can resume lives the way they were. I am extremely sorry for each individual case of infection. I hope that it will not complicate anyone's health situation, and that everyone will be fine. I will remain in self-isolation for the next fourteen days and repeat the test. In five days now, already going to be a busy day today for we'll certainly for the British tennis media because it was the first day of. If Jamie Murray event the battle of the Brits. But obviously with this huge kind of. Story transcending the sport developing It's an even busier day. So what does I'm? Briggs want to nine PM. He wants a message David Law, saying Don't close your laptop to seen Simon. Join a common. The tennis podcast Hello Simon. We, can he Simon? As a slightly weary voice, but we're. It wasn't as big a deal today. The positive tests were concerning But the how many do we hereby stay ahead? Five hadn't made by the end of the end of the day and I will on Sunday night. so today it felt like a continuation rather than being quite the bombshell yesterday when. Magi my busiest every day on twitter. What were your initial reactions were? It's joke Richard subsequently released a second statement on instagram tonight, which we will come onto. But what were your reactions when that first statement came out and how? Much, did it. Differ or not from from what you were expecting from him, not in terms of necessarily the results of the test, but As somebody responsible for that tour in that tournament, his sort of degree if the responsibility is prepared to take etc.. Yeah well I mean. There was a sort of Was a source of slight cheesed-off tone to it wasn't at the. He was sort of disappointed that we hadn't seen his pure intentions. For what they were a? and. Almost implication that that should have been enough to satisfy. On, lookers than indeed know the mysterious workings of the virus, and it was a bit of a mystery that has not recognized his pure intentions for the. Positives that they were. So, he kind of sounded a little bit. Petulant in the first statement, and then by the time the second one came out, he was a lot more. Apologetic fellow somebody might have had it worse.

Type Systems and Type Checking

"Often team practice I hear from people referring to dynamically, and we could type languages as being the same thing. These are the no concepts. Referring to different things. So, let's start with strongly and week. TAP LANGUAGES I. With stronger type languages, we have types associated with individual expressions, and we can look perform operations across incompatible types. The programming languages just doesn't allows to let. For instance, if we have a function cold at in type script, which accepts of numbers, partners, and we try to pass East. Drink were going to get a compile time. Error Scene is going to happen in St Louis Plus in C. Sharp in Java, and so on and so forth. In Python. If we try to some a number industry INC, we're to get the runtime error, so python is strongly type language as well. There are languages which are performing fewer such checks or not checks at all. These are cold week, type languages, but before that's. Just make sure that we're on the same page. None of these languages are absolutely strongly typed or absolutely weekly tight. There is a spectrum and let's see that one on one side of the spectrum. We have the strongly type languages on the other side of the spectrum. We have the weaker type languages. So. Python type, script Java, and so on, and so forth which have types there are more owned a strong retypes part of the spectrum jousted for instance we half where we have fewer such checks. It is on the week two times part of the spectrum, but again in Charleston. We still have some type checks for instance, if we're using the joined function from the path module in know jess, we're going to get a type error if not pass strength in programming, languages such as theft script, although we have strong types. In some cases, the type system is not able to catch some typing errors, and we may end up performing operation across incompatible types. This is released to the salt colts solidness of the type system. Right in general, the strongly type languages they care about types, and they slept our hands when we tried to perform operations across incompatible types compared tweaker tap languages, which do not care about types, and they let us do whatever we want to across individual operations. Now let's talk about dynamic and static typing. So they namic in static typing. There are both related to strong type languages. You talk about dynamic typing. We're going to talk about something like pythons behavior where we're getting type errors when we're performing corporations between incompatible types, but we're getting them at runtime. Static type programming languages are throwing such errors at compile time. For instance type script has e compiler, which is going to look at our program is going to analyze the program and throw an error if it finds out that performing ovation between incompatible types. However in Python, we're going to get this error as time. And now here accounts very important difference when. Is it better for us to get this error. This is released trade-offs in Python for instance. We're going to get this error, so that's that's great, but at the same time we are not sure whether. We're going to skip the air while testing the software and leadership. Of the program to our end, users by having this type error and Destroy Their user experience by getting an exception a certain point on the other side. We do not need to compile anything with on. Here's a scripting language, so we don't have a bill step. In type script we have those bill step and we're also getting these compile time guarantees. So that's great. We'll be able to find potential typing earth sooner before shipping them to production, but at the same time the. Step it takes time it can slow down our development experience and make it much worse compared to writing tripping program with Patton. Or. That was pretty much ever think so. In this episode. We Coward strongly in Tweak type languages. We'll discuss that strongly. TAP languages they perform. Checks whether we're not trying to perform an operation. The crossing compatible types compared to week two types wiki type languages which do not. We'll talk about the NAMIC and static typing. Related to they namic typing to run time. Type checking and. Static typing to compile time type checking

Raising Anti-Racist Children - A Holistic Approach (with Kristen Coggins)

"As a black woman. You know you, we. We see so much of this closer up fries, you know. And so when it all started to kind of happen, if bell very much like here we go, it's the same cycle. It's been happening. You know for us. I think the first one I remember was Trayvon Martin. You kind of get used to seeing these traumatizing enriches morning with the family improvising so hard, and then seeing the person gets off Ford ever happened, and that's like a crush again, so it's like it happens over and over and over so you begin to lose hope. You know you're like here. It goes you know and so I kind of gotten to a point where I. Just it was too much I. had shut it out I can, I cannot deal with. This is just going to happen all over again. This time. It feels different. Especially Lists Young Equal Day are speaking up in a way that is so power phone so direct in so hopeful in. It's like get it. They are getting it in their speaking up to their their parents, you know. People that joint tic TAC over the quarantine so I'll scroll and grow in. Exposing these conversations actual conversations that they're having appearance in. It's like wow, it's on them. Getting kicked out their houses. It's kind of you know. The, writing black lives matter on the chunk of their driveway. Mean they are like they are living the revolution at home in that is so hard for at in and so many of them have actually said they're getting through to their parents gives me chills ungrateful I. Am Hopeful We may evolve me, too, so yeah, we have this wonderful generation Z. of heard them. Them called. I Gen. My children are in that generation, and now we have the next generation that you and a lot of the people that listen to this podcast or reading. How do we honor this work with them? How do we ensure that we're raising anti-racist children? What can we do? I really mostly just WANNA. Listen to what you have to say about this. You know civilization. It seems like it's being presented with. This divine opportunity to evolve in it's so painful yet hopeful you know for it systematically for centuries what have been oppressed in this country whether the from implicit bias over covert racism being traumatize, and it's like we've reached a point where it seems like people are ready to say enough is enough and are collectively pushing each other to be on the right side of this journey. And with that, it's like folks WanNa know what what can we do and so I have two answers that I have prepared for today. One is see yourself. The second is seared charter. There's a Colt by Rene. Brown, it says we cannot give our show dron what we do not have. We cannot give our children. What we do not have in an to know what you have. You have to see yourself and that requires being mindful. People instantly get defensive if they're raises because it doesn't feel good to be labeled, and especially not that all it's like no, that's not me. I don't accept that you know I'm nice to people. Treat them how I want to be treated. I give him a shirt off my back, but it's like would if you took the time to look at it from a mindfulness approach. There is this great Buddhist tool for minds s? It's an acronym called rain recognize. Allow investigate with kindness in in night into the Keisha. You know you might find yourself in situations where a decision you may or something you said as you being caught out or being respected for being racist, or maybe there is no call out. Maybe you're just something you did or experience, so which you do as first you're to recognize what is happening in my body right now. Does my stomach haven't Iki him? How about my face? My chest? Am I having desire to distract or remove myself from the situation? Just recognizing everything that you're feeling can be very our. Next year to allow those feelings to just be. It can be hard to sit with discomfort. We want to push it out of our bodies, but don't fight them. And maybe even picture is comfort looks like.

Who Is Strong?

"Just about everybody had one. Strong's exhaustive concordance of the Bible. Seem like you have a Bible and somewhere next to it. You would have strong's concordance. It was first published in eighteen ninety. It contains a numbering system for Hebrew and Greek words. And it has eight thousand, six, hundred, seventy four, Hebrew roots that are numbered and five thousand, five, hundred, twenty three Greek roots that are numbered. This is massive this work, this exhaustive concordance, showing where every word in the Bible could be found with its book, Chapter and verse. It is massive in this before computers before software programs, and before search engines, which means this work was all done by hand well, this same strong also served as editor of the massive ten volume. Cyclo Pedia a Biblical theological and ecclesiastical literature. It was published from eighteen, sixty seven through eighteen, eighty one. And if that's not enough this same strong, finally worked on a committee that produced the American Standard version of the Bible for thirty years. This committee labored from eighteen seventy one until the SV was published in nineteen o one. Charles Hodge was one of those editors Pantheon of scholars of the day one hundred and one editors all worked on the American Standard version, and one of those one hundred and one was the strong. So, who is he well? He is James Strong. He was born in New York City on August, fourteenth, eighteen, twenty, two. He died in New York in eighteen ninety four. He wanted to be a doctor when he was young, but he went off to Wesleyan University in Middletown Connecticut and there he studied Biblical languages among other things he was really layman, and he had a fascinating career. He organized a railroad company, and then built the flushing railroad in the eighteen fifties. It was later incorporated in his actually part of the the railroad subway system of the New York road today. He also served as a mayor of his hometown on Long Island. He taught for a while in Vermont. But his main career was at drew theological seminary, and there he was for twenty five years just prior to going to drew, he was the acting president of Troy University, and sometime in the eighteen fifties, he published an article that the Methodist Church should establish a seminary and the new. York vicinity to train ministers for the Gospel. He was mocked for that article. There were many who thought that you shouldn't train ministers that God just hand picked them, so they should be God trained, not man trained, but strong persistent, and he was soon joined by others and drew theological seminary opened. He was part of what was called the strong five who were among those five who started the seminary. The early president of the seminary was James mclintock. He knew strong back from their days when they were working on that ten volumes cyclope. That massive edited work that strong also served on so the two of them together set off with some other faculty to establish drew. One of his colleagues at drew, said this of James Strong. At night in the library, he worked like a plow horse, but in the lecture room he was a Colt. No one ever went to sleep in his class unless he wasn't bad. Health or an embassy saw well. That's what they thought of James Strong. He spent thirty five years working on the strong's exhaustive concordance. It was published in eighteen ninety. It became a standard text, and as I said just about everybody had a copy of strong's concordance. Well, that's who strong was and I'm Steve Nichols the thanks for joining us for five minutes in Church history.

Talking to the Other Side

"Hello and welcome to the sustainable future for Friday. The twenty ninth of May. I'm Angela. Day. The thing all this episode is talking to the other side. How do we talk to the other side about the climate emergency? How do we find common ground? How do we get everyone working together? I spoke to Kevin Wilhelm. Ceo of sustainable business consulting in Seattle. I'm talking to Kevin will help. Who with naturally Huffman is joined all through a book called how to talk to the other side finding common ground in times of Corona virus recession and climate change. Now I know the coronavirus recession of very much for front of our minds at the moment but the climate change emergency has not gone away We really need to be able to talk to the to the other side because there are people who are vested interests and there are people who dogmatically opposed to the idea that climate change is a problem. So how do we talk to the other side Kevin? Well I think that the biggest issue that most people have said they've they've already set their mind set that they can't agree with somebody who may disagree with them and when we talk about issues like climate change versus Economy Muniz has been going on for for decades all the way back to say in the in the United States since nineteen eighty seven. But even if you think of the the first Earth Summit Rio in the second one in South Africa both times there was kind of a economic uncertainty that was going on globally and politicians and business groups said. Hey we can take action on this because it's hurt the economy and the same mindset is starting to happen now I you know through my consulting work and what we laid out in. This book is laid out dozens of examples of businesses that have made more money by Leaned into the climate change efforts. Because they've saved on energy. They've saved on Water. Saved on transportation costs innovated new ways of delivering products and services in your even seen it in the in the financial markets. You seen Ones where we've had record growth of the stock market for the last ten years up until February of this year and even during that time Those companies that were on say the Dow Jones Sustainability Index or the S. and P. Five hundred environmental and social impacts outperformed attritional indices which were performing record highs. And so. There's this myth that you have to give up money or sacrificed. Do the right thing are mentally and from a climate perspective and what we wanted to do was really flipped at notion on its head and show the examples of where it's win win no matter your perspective or not and so that. That's one way that we've used as an example to bring people from opposite sides because we feel like money is kind of like nonpartisan issue like if if you can make more money and I can make more money than then ideology somehow falls away a little bit. But then you've the very big players particularly well in energy and I'm GonNa talk about oiling. Talk about there is not a lot you can do to change your business to be environmentally responsible. I it's just gotTa be you you Mined Coal in an environmentally friendly way. Least if you do burning. Coal is not environmentally friendly so the sorts of pressures that we've got to find common ground with or at least we've got to convince them that we need change. Yeah absolutely I mean Colt a really difficult one I. I like to look at the entire. Fossil fuel industry is as one area and then each of them a little separately. So if you think about it we used to call them oil companies. Now we call them energy companies. And that's because you know. Bp Shell even Exxon Mobil realize that there was going to be a finite resource and the cost of getting to some of these places was going to be really difficult. And so as you've seen oil prices come way down that the more extreme places like the tar sands or the deep ocean off of Brazil. Just make no longer make financial sense. And so that had to shift because wind and solar power had become cost competitive. And so you've seen these these what we're traditional oil companies switched it become energy companies because they realized they could still provide energy different way. We've also seen a number of energy companies that have switched from coal to natural gas A. because natural gas is cleaner. But mostly because it's cheaper right now with all the the fracking that's been going on

"colts" Discussed on Patriots Dynasty Podcast

"Right So we're in the fourth quarter. That's right so brady threw a touchdown and the colts last chance to make it a game drive down at the red zone yet again. Manny drops back to pass under no pressure whatsoever goes to throw to a wide open guy in the Middle. I think is a tight end and the ball literally falls out of his hand. Patrick Look like James Winston special. Yeah it was one of those. Just threw it backwards. Just I dunno or had like no pressure no nothing beautiful pocket and ball flies out. Pass recover and the booze this. I think those two things that made this place. Oh good one was. This was peak manning shrug and. I think we both know what I mean by Manning Shrug Rehana a face on of course right. 'cause it's manning face but the shrugging he does reports both hands out like jazz and just search like shrugging. Vialli was amazing. And then the booze I mean. The booze actually started in the first quarter. I've had nothing that there's a Donna. Buoy for the colts. Just constant Boeing. It started on the opening patriots touchdown it nothing but I got worse on both blocked field goals. And then every time they took a sack They were booing plays that they thought should have been passed affairs that were blatantly. Not Pass interference The the one time they didn't do is At the end of the first half I think it was let me see was it after the the drops. No Oh yeah. It was so's after they They dropped the kickoff and got into the two yard line. Patient went on to score a touchdown off of the ensuing drive kicked off and they actually managed to take a touch back on that play and they got the sarcastic cheer which is one of my favorite things in football. It's got cheered for doing that. Should just be something that they should do. Every time I thought game tonight Buffalo got twelve shots therefore we got one in the first shot the whole. Td Garden cheered the Bruins twelve. Yeah there yeah. There's there's nothing better than me sarcastic. Cheer we have. Can we go back to the main face a little bit? Oh absolutely we can do a whole episode on it if you want a youtube supercop. There's gotta be right. Probably if there is a will make one. Which one do you prefer the P in manning face or the you lie this manning face hundred percent peyton is very much like everybody else. Sucks you guys? Do I want you to do in? July is rural right away for something ace but you could tell. Their differ much more rooted in confusion. The other ones much like derision. It's so it's it fuels. My Soul lost now I? I'm still paying because his game like at the end of it Patriots get the ball. And they're they're like just like running out the clock the head like seven or eight minute drive in the fourth quarter two minutes laughs and he is literally just kind of going at anybody. That'll listen to like oftens of largest city on the on the thing and you can see him just like just stipulating in like yelling and all this stuff and then they cut back from a couple minutes later doing the same thing to the offensive line coach. Who stand there like trying to watch the game. And he's just like yelling at the side of his head going so full like Reuters. Young going on and on and on rivers is the best for that. Oh yeah this. Is this the same sort of idea I love? It was yeah oh absolutely so yeah and actually the end of the game was kind of Hissy just in general because pats eight up a shit shit in a time and they'll ask Dr and get it to the two minute warning and so out of the two minute warning. The pats were up three touchdowns and so they take a knee and the colts call a timeout. Yeah I thought that was such bullshit down three touchdowns after the two minute. Warning the patient like fuck it will run plays so they ran three more plays at instead of kicking the field goal on fourth down they went for it on fourth and seven and got six and a half yards so the colts got the ball back with fifty one seconds left so they do they put. Mark Rippin in a backup quarterback remember Mark Rippin redskins great mark and then they handed off twice but so they hit it off the first time the Patriots call timeout just on the road again and the game ends. Same Chicago for touchdown there to book you. I think if they got the first down they would have. I think they would have kept throwing the ball and and actually run up the score so I respect while you know if I would've if they put banning back in there and be like you like redeem yourself you'll have one last right but they didn't put the backup in an arena twice like why the fuck all the time outs because fuck that dude. It's professional football now. That's bullshit now I I'm with the Oxidative Anna. Care how much losing by I WANNA blues by less what I'm saying? Well that's fine. But then we'll then put your starters out and Fucking try-scorer that lasts hush down. I could start. Yeah they'll put you back up quarterback in and run up the middle twice hawks the point of that. That's the one other thing I want to bring up in this and I'm a little sad that we have to do it without Mike here because it's a boy but you missed in the last game. Perhaps the funniest play so far this season Punter Lee Johnson. He got a Is in the fourth quarter against the chargers got. They're punting in their own ends. Caught the ball like the tennis yard line and saw a free coming off instead of rushing punt. He tried to take the ball and put it round his back and sidestep the guy but he didn't fool the guy so the guy was grabbed him and threw him to the grounds as Lee Johnson. Flailed the ball out of his hands and the guy to tackle and pick up the football while Johnson stood there thinking the play was over and then the guy ran for a touchdown to put the pages down ten points with eight minutes left so that was the last play of Johnson's career as a Patriot as a Ken. Walter took over punting duties from here on out and If you thought Mike Banner Jack Look Nerdy Fucking Ken. Walter with that facemask. That's way too low. And it looks like he has. His helmet pulled too far down over his head. Sos faces like covering his chest and his chinstrap is under his neck. And that's how he punts. Football's Jesus Christ. It almost looked like Ryan story entire in terms of the size of his nose. A huge shadow to Ryan story our our good friend either who we call Toucan Sam just because of the size of his is massive. Honcker at I think can Walter would give him a run for his money. I think Ken Walter with his helmet on. If you ran to a wall would hit. It knows I can Walter. The nose like that should be in the national Jewish museums. Or it's all what bringing it all back. I love it all right. So that's the game Let's do some vessel worst. Who wants to go I I go I give me your best orders Greg. I'm GonNa Steal David Patten. Obviously all right specific David panel is your best meet. The fact it's the David. In yeah fairness touchdown being ridiculous study scored orchestra. Don't know easy ones that he skiing. Yes to this day I still remembered as David. Cat Game Right so kind of speaks for itself. I agree an for war. Still take myself for watching the wrong game. Let's at least up to at least you're honest. That's fun next week will be better. I'm sure we'll see all right. Steve Best to worst. I mean the best is for the manning which Yup that was a good one. That's interesting side. Forgotten that this artist received him. Get kinda. Got that. Like you've got in the back I we use. You didn't see coming. Yup Agitated get fall forward. The guy come from the front we did see coming God right in the chest. Aw Is Kinda got. Whiplash shows was brilliant. He was real busy. The worst is no tackling on James. He kind of tore it up. Yeah James Four had hernandez somewhere he went for a hundred and forty some odd yards on thirty carries. Like he didn't score touchdown though they they couldn't couldn't do any anything short yardage be. Yeah he he rebounded nicely from his. 'cause the only game they they post this ad the only game he didn't rush one hundred yards so far in the season was the first patriots mats up so. I almost felt like the Patriots once. They got a big just said. If you want to hand off to egg Egg James. Keep doing it as long as he's throwing. You're not going to catch up quick so I'll give you that My Best I think was a play with the national talk about. I forgot because I watch these few days ago but Manning had a pass knocked up in the air by the Defensive Lineman. I think in this first half at some point and it was caught by his left guard who then decided to take off downfield and with blazing speed manage to get To whole yards on the completion so manning completion.

"And that's extremely crazy. He could break forty five hundred most likely will and he brought he broke. His own record are single. Season passing Yar healed freighter auditor. Yeah so yeah. He just sat franchise record this year. How you mentioned the Carolina? Panthers Cornerback Dante Jackson The defensive coaching staff for two horrible. 'cause Matt Ryan's touchdown passes so things are imploding. They're just as we suspected and fad. That's a revolt lover. Doing a nice house cleaning those going to wrap it up for us us. We'll have the preview for the Detroit Lions on Friday. Apologize For this podcast. Being so late it was a nice day yesterday and I want to sit in the house all all day doing film work so I took her to the park and caused me to have to do the video today. which you can't do the podcast on film review? I haven't reviewed the film yet so here. We all got it out but Friday molly will have her breakdown of the Detroit. Lions coming out though she good one interesting when if you WANNA hang out and listen to the pot or the press conference of Bruce Arians. Latest press conference could stick around. But it's going to do it for us do next time. Get Lax to add them yesterday. like I said I. I love the fact that our team doesn't get down during a game. You know we throw a pick six to mess left. Have we just go right back out and go back down to score touchdowns and and get it back to one score game We turn it. We get a turnover we turn it back over. We've we stop for a kick. You great pressure on the kicker should blocked a kick early in the game. We came free. Went right past the ball. I think that was still in the kid's mind So that the resiliency of the team that they're not we're not quitting The fact that we are now mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Not GonNa Change Anything. We're GONNA come. We're going to work. We're going to try to win four in a row within five hundred zero difference in earlier in the year versus this year. "It's just how all the secondary response to it you know but in this game I'm looking at these open receivers and I'm like there's no way nobody in the secondary could even get to this guy in time so that's my conclusion but no matter how it happens whose fault it was we gotta win. We look damn good doing it by game. Good game name. That's what it's all about man. That's what it's all about like that post you put on twitter about James is like just going to burn now I was GonNa Entertainment as it was great. It's just sell appropriate perfectly describes and love or hate ate him. You agree with that sentiment. God James put faith in this game and not a pump fake to his receiver that he's going to throw to which is normally what he'd done. I'll never understand that one. I don't think he understands the purpose of pumping and he didn't really do a pump fake. He gives a half face that real long wind up it was probably normal. Pump fake somebody linked to watch the video. I do break down kind of how that pump fake affected affected the whole secondary and lift just Watson Wide Open in the end zone ALCON. It just goes to show how effective pump fakes came. Be If you I use them correctly because yeah he did he did a pump to the right side of the field and the whole secondary. Turn that away and Kinda shifted to spreads out of the field and then he turned around it to the left Centerfield. He didn't throw it to just a lot zone. But you're just getting greedy at this point over four hundred fifty yards and I'm over here. It can had another touchdown. Good game good game. That's good. That's fun stuff. It's fun stuff I'll tell you. What the tour lions we put a beat down on us? I feel bad badly. I feel a little bad. I've always liked them kind of because they've been in the same boat as us for years. I've always liked Tom when we played them in black and blue division we are when they're saying division. NFC North. They were always a tough tough team on their forget. The keyshawn Johnson to win across the Middle One time again clobbered. He was bleeding out the nose to mouth. He was hurt. And that's when I got a lot of respect keyshawn Johnson because he went off cleaned up a little bit off cleaned leaned up went right back in that game but Detroit lions always played US tough or a couple years ago we played them. No spent had a great game We ended up winning last minute but I think this is going to be a total total. Beat down this game with the colts game should not have been close. It should have been close at all as well as close as because Bruce Arians said we'd like to spot teams fourteen seventeen points going in the first quarter which is basically what we did. We twenty-five much there we spot them at least ten calls and a touchdown for thirteen point. Yeah it's better average which teams thirteen points. That's why we have to put up so many. You could really tell this week. After the game that the players have noticed the difference. They all talked about how in years past we will would have lost a game like this. which is what everybody was saying which is funny because I said that two weeks ago we would have lost this game? Which one was it Jacksonville? I can't remember but yeah you could definitely notice that this team is. This is a totally different team. Mentality was that we've seen in ten years and scraping crazy Gregg allman had an article or tweet the athletic Tampa Bay rather but I think that's great. The Bucks had lost twenty nine consecutive games in which they'd trail that anytime by eight points or more and that ended with this game. Yeah that's funny in. This is something we've discussed. How people like to bring up all these stats about the buccaneers? You know and I'm like we've just for the past decade say anything and you'RE GONNA yeah. Yeah the buccaneers of laws so many so consecutive home games. We've lost a whole bunch of games we've been doing for the past ten years. Lose Games twenty nine games. That's like almost two seasons Florence. That's pretty mad. We currently have the third highest scoring offense behind Baltimore and the forty niners shocks me most about that. Is that the Baltimore and forty. The niners have high scoring offense who saw the forty niners did. Put up a forty six points against against the saints this weekend. How's the high flying game? When did not expect no? I didn't either. Bench drew brees fantasy. Football put fifty points so to get us still. Don't we'll have Tom. Brady was my options within. Now thank you got me fifteen points fifteen. Yeah still once again fighting for the second tied for last place. I'm not going down without a fight. He lost the time raker though Matt Gay is fourth among NFL kickers in scoring and six in made field goals. He's hit eighty eight point. Nine percent and Dan is second best in bucks history behind Connor Barth Connor. Barth is the most the best. He's got kind of Barthet. Ninety two point nine percent success ratio Matt Gay has eight point nine percent right now. I think we've found our kicker future at least four years. He just fits in with this group. It's just a it's a Shimmy that I like Jimmy we make a roster move today. We promoted wide receiver Ishmail Hyman to the active roster. Now that's because Mike Evans is going to be out for at least next week. Yeah and we can't. TJ Logan on. I are still okay. So Mike Evans Raza Right now. We don't know what his status for the rest of the season but he will not play next week and then Scotty Miller. He's got his nagging hamstring injuries. So I just said he will not play but it's very doubtful that play. That's the official word. What was it? What did you say Scotty? Eddie Miller too has a hamstring injury. It's all it's all like him. I want to see him. Get the ball just speed at one time. These excellent yeah. He's had a hamstring all. the-the everyone get knee. Injuries used to mean you were out in a lot of times you career would be over in now. ACL MC L. Injuries. Aren't that bad. Go go fix some up and come back and play what Adrian Peterson I think have to. He's still in the League fighting it out. I wonder when hamstring injuries are going to be like that. You know you get a hamstring injury. And they do that surgery or give you a pill or injection or something like that and you're back out there. It's a lot of injuries across the league this week. A lot of it is most likely due to teams being out of the playoffs. So you know a lot of these veteran guys who have their employment lock down for next year are you. Do you know like why. Play this other. We this happens bread. GRIME has confirmed at force. We all suspect but brigands confirmed to force podcast. That players do fake injuries. Yeah that the Falcons Lost Calvin Ridley Tie our proposal. Falcons team hasn't gone out to.

"Are It just a nagging injuries. Like when you hurt your back it's GonNa hurt for a long time to tweak get. Gentleman had tweeted out that her sources say. Hey He's out for the rest of the season so it would surprise me and you know honestly I think it'd probably be better because then we could get a better look at some of our other receivers. You know just just Watson. I thought he played great. Yeah he did. And we're talking all this crap about him. North we look now I was never president the last year but he released stepped up especially having noticed that he was going to be in the game and he came in and played really well. That's what they do like about this team into something that Aryans agreeance pushes is next. Man Mentality We've talked about it on the podcast here. But the whole story that Bruce Arians tells while he picked the wally pip story. Right injury could be path to success so EMMA's might be out but I don't think it's going to hurt us. Any one thing I do like is going off the subject. A little bit of the game fell Paying attention to all the fan base forums and twitter and all that nobody is saying that we should lose games for the draft. Pick now everybody. Everybody is on board of US winning. They really like this team. Everybody loves his team. which is fantastic? We sat in the off-season members areas had come in here and have a culture change and we see a whip. The players in this game lante David came in during halftime and chewed the locker locker. Room out Roy off an I love to see him stepping up in that leadership role. I think it's really important for him to do that because he is one of the longer. tenured in buccaneers and it's important is good and he's good and it's important that he's on board the culture change. It's really apparent to me that the team has is brought in and now I feel like the fan base has bottom actually after this win but before now the locker room has been used to lose. I coming before this year. We've been really accustomed to losing an BA. Had to overcome that. And I think part of it is overcoming it within the fan base too you well. We've had great. John came in and tried to change the culture. Lovey Smith came in and tried to change. Culture Dirk. Koetter came in trying to change coach. You know what I could do it. Nobody could do it Erin. Syrian I think has done it. I mean these guys want to win and it's good that we have a group of our secondary is all homegrown there really. It seemed like they've got a lot of energy back there. They support each other Seems like they hang out with each other the whole team. I feel like it's like that. They all seem to have a really good bond. If like with Media Vida coming in on the offense You know him being involved there and I've seen him. I think it might have been a Mike with him and Janus went up to each other before the game and you know have find and yeah. We're GONNA win this and so it's good to see that kind of camaraderie. They're playing like a team. Yeah they all all are playing team. That's something we talked about the beginning of the year when like when Jameis Winston messes up like we know he's going to do probably every game. You need to step up. You need someone win. Win Win one unit or one players playing band. You need somebody else to step up to fill that gap. And that's what I feel like we've been doing. You know I mean James Whitson threw three interceptions. Yeah and we had a fumble starry fumble. Here's gambler turnover. Four turnovers on offense and defense stepped up and you know played extremely well. Two of the interest I think two of the interceptions chance are might have been to the turnovers and did and field goals and then one turnover was a pick six defense about that. Yeah so so so native need to play as a team. You need to complement each other. And I think it's happening. I think if we can get the rest of the team on the same page then there's a stronger case for genus does Winston Janus can't do it all on his own which authorized to do it on his own. He makes very big mistakes. Any costs games. But if the rest of the team shows up and contributes and kind of lifts Jameson. Then I think there's a strong case to keep him a- and it's all complimentary the offensive line. They've been playing. Well if you know deliverable above average. I think that's been helping James. We've got a little bit of a run game going knapman helping Jamesy the defensive lines been getting pressure on the quarterbacks you know like it would set a lot of the passes he threw are under pressure. He threw some ducks well. A lot of it was because he was getting hit as he threw put some of those in the video too and that helps our secondary and our secondary has been covering well which helps our pass rush. So everything's complimentary and I think every they're all working together very well. If anything needs improvement I would say they are run blocking. I think fantail which is Kinda funny. Because I'm GonNa talk about a play here in a minute that I think was probably the play of the game That hated run blocking but overall are run blocking can just has not been as good as it was at the beginning of the year kind of dropped off the plane with as much energy and off as he. Wasn't you know these past few games. We talked about that in this game. He was hurt in the second. Half so you know. That's kind of excusable. But he didn't have a bad game. I think I I think he gave up. One bad one sack gets justin. Houston which each person to give up a sack to. Yeah he did pretty well considering. Yeah yeah he used to play pretty well but we obtain their defensive line for the most part and pray Janus in fact one time. Speaking of the the Mike dump videos chance goes to go look at the one on whitehead and I haven't seen that one the colts. Yeah Yeah I haven't seen it. Oh my Gosh I love. He's great he is. He's probably one of my favorite players on the team. He plays a so much intensity he he doesn't has a care about his body. He's throwing himself near. He just wants to win make plays but he come in. And I do watch the MIC before I'd seen all twenty two and there's a spot where He comes blitzing in any hit an offensive lineman. I can't remember what was hold on. One second. Let me down. I think it was sixty. Four mark out Wenski dating. How Whitehead comes rushing in and he hits the Linemen and a lot of stopped him Kinda stood him up and everything but after the play the linemen walked over to him and said? Hey Buddy I gotta say that hurt. He he was like I was not expecting you to hit that hard. I think that that was quitting Nelson because I think that clip ears. Yeah he was just really impressed right and of course white. He goes over and tells everybody in the band but they didn't show the hit or you couldn't really see it on Mike but then I watched it on the all twenty two and there's really enough in the whitehead hasn't done previously. You know he just comes in really hard but he hit that guy we gotta stop him but you could tell it what he made an impact. WELL THAT'S A. Ba they said about Whitehead Aussies was that he likes contact. He's really physical. You could tell that with him you can tell them. We kind of reminds when I've said this before John Lynch in in the sense that you know he. He's like a missile torpedo. If you've got the ball you need to know where Whitehead's at these common so anyhow we had said I you know I was debating on what the he plays with the game. Were after the game. I said. It's a tossup between Devon whites knocking the ball out the fumble that was great it was really sad to to see him kind of come out of his Shell and really we watch them develop through the season. And it's just a cool. It's the growth. A lot of growth. I think next next year he's going to be down near unstoppable. He had another there. long as a thirty-seven yards I think and it was Devon whites coverage fault fault put that in the video it was kind of confusing because a bunch of buccaneers. got a little bunched up there right there in the same area confused each other like. Hey what are you doing over. But Devon white is the inside linebacker he was in the middle. It was the responsibility. And that's where the guy caught the ball so I blame it. Eleven light once. He gets his coverage. Stay on and it's really not that. He's banned coverages that he doesn't get in the right spots he won't get sweat points. Ah that yeah. But he'll get over that I think next year he's going to be. Damn near unstoppable. So it was between those that play and play with J. P. P. Bat in the ball down or fourth day Dan when they were trying to score thirty thirty eight. He batted the ball down. And I said was a toss up between those two plays to me play the game. We all got another one in there where we were moving down the field or we just got the ball after JP and knocked down so this is the end basically just need around the clock right. We needed needed a first down so then we could deal on it and I want to say it was second Dan. I can't remember and we needed. We needed a first down but we lined up in a jumbo jumbo formation. We had everybody on the line. They knew we were running and Alamar pet pulls from the right side. The left side is left. Our position in he runs all the way over to the right side. And there's I think it was too tight ends. We might have had josh wells in stacked stacked we've stacked so he runs past all those guys and they did a great job blocking two. We hit it off the Peyton Barber. He runs and he follows more pit. Well more turns the corner. And there's this poor cornerback. Standing there is the only thing between us and a first down. And he's there. What have containment his? His responsibility was a scrape. That back in you know. Make sure the running back did pop to the outside Willmar pet comes around that corner and just blasted that guy. That guy didn't recover until he. It was twenty yards down the road. We already had the first day and it was that block that Sprung Barbara out and we got eleven yards. I down than we were able to kneel on it so I would have to say. That's probably the play of the game. 'cause we wouldn't have got that first down. They got the ball back they would only needed three points. You know they would have had a minute about a minute to to go down the field so Alamar pick Kudos to you it to me. It's a toss up between that play and J P play where he batted the ball down. There was a lot of good plays in this game on our behalf behalf. Not Too many partners. They really they really look like a not a team that I almost want to say that the looked like the worst this team we played this year really in. I don't know if it's because we played so well. Their secondary in their scheme was just chewed that alive. They are on blue blue streak settle. I wonder if that's Kinda taken it's toll we know without like net so we'd conclusion collusion cults and out of really good team percents service quarterback but neagle super bowl There Oh oh line is the only good part. They've got on their team team. And we didn't have a problem with them their secondary and their scheme not good Taunton which one's worse or the scheme would have to go to the scheme I really would because I mean they just played that cover to almost exclusively all game and we just sat. There chipped away at his eight among. Now we won but this game should not have been close. I mean we really dominated all aspects of this game It was the turnovers that hurt us. It does turn overs. Were completely avoidable. The Dr One you know you your father every now and then it's going to happen James Phone to him anyhow. He had a much better receiver down the field but it shouldn't have been close. It should not have been close at all. I've never seen that many open receivers in a professional football game. I can't say that against us as Chicago. Game was last year two years ago. Yeah I think I might have seen more open receivers. You haven't lots in the buccaneers secondary for well. You know in the in the zone defenses. You're going to have open receivers..

"Know our kids were always in the facility at practice ever since I can remember a certain teams. Don't allow it but I learned about the Vanni. David woken with data dated young. Yeah I mean he's an east the ultimate pro. You know I mean Labontes first of all dependable immediate a great player but what he does with the young players you know as as amazing a four year five win on the road this year. What do you think this thing to do differently at home to take advantage of having three of the last four here Cologne two one at home? Yeah I mean there's a little extra you know when the noises on the other side and communication on defense Won Miss Mess. Call could be a touchdown and we have I have we have to be really sharp in our communication and hopefully there won't be a bunch of the other teams fans in the end zone. Snap the ball to early Like we did against New Orleans but no it's it's something that's sometimes teams. It's easier on the road than it is at home but It shouldn't be GONNA take to get this running game going a little bit better. I don't I don't think it's as long as the numbers. So there you know We've had some called back That was a good physical front. We could've run the ball differently. A little bit against Jacksonville said right at class all the time with a tight end But I don't I don't have any concerns or running game right now and Rojas still are starter and Soon we'll get him going like different tactics when it comes to motivating your players or how to get the most out of whether it was calling out the secondary in a press conference friends and and seeing the way they.

"Radio represented by village West discount liquors if you WANNA get involved tonight we will have a live mailbag a little bit later six nine three zero six we've also talked with Collins Saunders who his NFL debut against the colts go great but you know what he was really honest in our interview that's coming up in the second half of the show will talk to battle read blog as well and Craig's doubt about this chiefs defense battle read blog by the way is the Texans espy nation site right now let's start with some chiefs news and I think the biggest news unfortunately for the chiefs is the injury report there are twelve chiefs listed on the injury report starting today as they prepare for the Houston Texans noon Arrowhead time on Sunday tyreek Hill Anthony Hitchens are both limited a fire of chiefs are not going to start the week Eric Fisher Chris Jones during Daniels Sammy Watkins and Andrew Wylie they didn't practice on Wednesday Fisher Jones weekly won't practice all weekend we'll miss the game based on everything we know oh Daniel Watkins and Wiley are the ones worth monitoring can't of course really casse John Wiley because of Cam Irving these all the help that he can get let's focus on Tyreek Hill right because that's the guy we've been waiting play Andy Reid s today could this be the week that tyreek Hill finally plays I think this is just a time they will we'll see he's GonNa work this week and and we'll see I sally fields you know you just I mean he's been doing that you know that there's a term full but he's maybe that's how they turn out I don't know what he's they're working you know whether it's county or guys he kind of did a little bit of everything last week so I presume this is pure how he feels this isn't oh common injury in the NFL so we're just trying to make sure it's right and a medical people are right in the playoffs you all of that stuff so they're looking at that I'm not and the bigger news tyreek hill beginning the practice or the fact that in twenty years Andy Reid doesn't know what a full partic- for this week it's actually the tyreek hill piece the absolutely need him it's there's there's no doubt about it if you saw anyone outside of Byron pringle at wide receiver trying to create separation they were incapable of doing it and they need this guy back to help Israel bombs tried to solve the issues that they're having on the offensive side of the ball tyreek Hill hasn't played from week one as he deals with that rare injury shoulder local thing that I'm not gonNa try to pronounce send you hope that he comes back because the chiefs obviously need him the opposing defenses have gotten the better of the chiefs with this man to man coverage we'll get into in a little bit I I think they just missed that separation and that that ability to just draw all that engine away from some of your other key guys a someone on twitter this week our guy country boy he mentioned something I thought that was kind of interesting tyreek Hill how he helps the run game two you eliminate somebody from the box at times you gotta try to play with a little bit more help over the top in in I think you know some of the stuff that they do with him I'm on the motions and in in faking it to him in in him running around back there I think that helps the run game too so he's just such an important piece especially with so many guys struggled right now to to get open he he really could help this team a lot of different ways just by his presence so as we talked to you hear Wednesday Terry Kill Limited for the fourth practice in a row I think the key is tomorrow I think if he has a full practice tomorrow then it's a pretty good sign that he could go on Sunday you gotta think that they're building up for this thing but we might have buried the lead Patrick Mahomes is still dealing with this ankle injury Patrick Mahomes talked about today I actually feel pretty good today like after the game I mean it was sore after the game but it's feeling pretty good today I'm glad to be able to go out there and practice on it and get it moving around and stuff like that but it's definitely I think I'll be fine lie and moving around and still doing what I what I needed to win for good this is good as it's been since before the original injury or I mean it's not perfect I guess I guess you say that but it's good enough to run cut cut off of it and do all that type of stuff I don't dig into the film as much as you can so I'll let you provide some small right answer here in a second but what I see so far since the injury occurred which was also week one is that Patrick Mahomes has been starting games and to be okay at the beginning because they've built up for the week it's just after he takes a hit or as you got mad about Cameron Axon to his ankle where you start to worry is this guy of Fogo is he the same player as he deals with this thing you saw the first quarter and a half of the game against the colts he looked like the same Patrick Mahomes we're used to touchdown that he threw where he was changing direction is moving around he's running around and he gets you know away from from Iran Russian he's able to run away and do the things that he's capable of doing you saw that right and then you know he got rolled up on I think Kemoko Turay the edge from the colts got him and rolled up on him and then came irving really aggravated it re aggravated stepped on his ankle and he just was not the same guy and it's really irritating and frustrating to see that happened because the I think she's fans in the national football league has got to see him at full strength for like two quarters like really looking normal for like two quarters this season is in and it was spectacular and the rest of it has been him kind of play on like thirty six years old and it's really frustrating that we haven't really got to see much of the stuff we're used to with mauled by the way the Kenna did you think cameras should be on the team I mean man up for debate I guess other news as we worry about Patrick Mahomes entirely kill the chiefs signed two players for depth reasons one of them will be in charge of protecting Pat The first is defensive tackle Tara Maclean nine year veteran really I think just on the team to fill out the position the second is offensive Lineman Stephan was new ski originally a second round pick by the Oakland raiders he could end up starting at left guard on Sunday because the chiefs have now gotten rid of Ryan Hunter who just wasn't going to cut it I s read could we see newsy there on Sunday while he's capable yeah now you can be ready if needed yeah we just give them a chance to learn right now a key here and I know a lot of people are upset the Jeff Allen wasn't back with the chiefs in that CJ spill a key or was newsworthy is he spent two thousand sixteen to twenty eighteen with the Philadelphia Eagles under none other that I'm Doug Peterson and so he has a little bit of an advantage of learning this offense in three days yeah it's there I don't think it's a coincidence that the guy that they wound up signing has some experience with the terminology of Andy Reid of Doug Peterson I don't think that's an accident are all in normally you sign a guy off the street you don't expect and be able to step in and play but did just see Ryan Hunter this week it was very bad he he made cameron erving look like Trent Williams Oh that's that's a that's a little far I think but yes I think the chiefs actually also saw that film and that's why he's no longer with team he he's weighed Xavier Williams so editor so now there's going to be focused on Derek Noddy and Colin Sanders again we talked to one on one in the locker room today but again back to his new ski he was asked in the locker room about learning this offense rather quickly learn luckily the Offense is very similar here to Philly obviously Doug Peterson came from here worth rendering for a long time so the offense is very similar hoping to pick it up you look at the two sides of this football team right now offense and defense will throughout special teams in your boy Dave told for second so offense the obvious problem is beating man coverage which I think we Oh and on defense it seems like the obvious problem is stopping the run to start and then once you do that then we can worry about the secondary again is it as simple as just saying though if this team gets healthy things will just go back to normal and they'll win as they're supposed to win which is with tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins and maybe healthier mahomes outscoring teams you know you get some of these defensive players back I mean it may not be for a while but Chris Jones and you could plug up the run a little bit better is it just I having to maintain I hate to say this a five hundred record over the next six six weeks until you can get everyone back I don't like I don't like to be that defeatist I think they can win more football games and I think they can win more football games than than three of the next six even if mahomes hobbled but I do think the injury side of the but I still think the team I think the cheese can manage his injury the next six games and maybe when four of the next six maybe even I mean if if things kind trend right maybe five in the next six just can't lose anymore players if they continue layer I mean you're looking a little bit like the La Charges I hate to say it but their seasons get screwed up up by this every year and this is the first time in a while I think you're seeing it for the Kansas City chiefs something to be concerned about but we will just have to see how this goes up next Travis Kelsey spoke today on his big moment with Eric the enemy that was caught on national television plus Craig Stout Defensive Film analysts helps US break down the problem as with this chiefs defense that's next on our pride radio presented by "Fumble the side as possible we had the worst turnover of all time yesterday raiders nobody's home on that day but the jets saw that said hold my butt fumble take my baugh please what's going on here so that's no pat on the chiefs laws dexter will there be you'd better win this season than at Kansas City on Sunday night touchdown a half underdogs in the Nineteen Kansas City thirteen how Cole something no one has done since Texas tax poll mahomes thirteen pronounced themselves contenders Israel Gutierrez start their students or they contenders I I would back off a little bit on the contender status here I think Patrick Mahomes told you after the game what he was looking at is two teams in a row I alliance and now the ended West Coast that have done a couple of things they have run the ball down their throat and Marlin Mac had a great game last night and they played a lot of men coverage defensively when you don't have Tyreek Hill Samuel Watkins some of that speed you can play men and you can get these these receivers covered and I think that makes life more difficult for Patrick Mahomes you throw on top of that the ankle injury in that third quarter probably limited some of his mobility and it doesn't look like the the Kansas City chiefs the volt it looks like they need to obviously get healthy one maybe recalibrate a little bit and just sort of get stuff together before you bring everybody gets healthy and you'll see this team that can put up forty all right not a word there on the Indianapolis Colts after the first five seconds woody page last night about the few overthrowing about the chiefs like Israel seem to think well it's about the cheese but I'll say that the colds are considered a because they played a division that is not overpowering it'd be the better team than what we've seen in the past I mean given that luck retired and you thought well this team is now going to be good they have an excellent run a game they have a good offense overall I guess as a team that actually has a very good chance to win the division in regard to the chiefs you talk about the injuries that came up at Israel but I think it's more important that they worked to improve that defense during the offseason but they didn't really prove the defensive line I think that was a concern you brought it up Israel but it's been four straight games where they've given up more than one hundred fifty yards rushing hundred and eighty s night this is a team they can't stop the run teams have figured it out after after five games Ramona Shelburne What did you figure out after last night when you can't stop the run that also means that Patrick Mahomes is not on the field and you know when and then when he was on the field they couldn't protect him and he was sacked four times last night and the previous the predeceased part of the season he was sacked I mean he was running for his life out there on Bom Ankle and so I think Indianapolis to me I think contenders adas is a little much right now they rebuilt that offensive line to help try to protect Andrew lucked little bit Jacoby percents light in the world on fire but they're they're better but this is more about the city on Sunday night Kevin it might be the best one season so far you see what the colts last night or with the chiefs they didn't do well I'll talk talk about the colts let's not forget that if Andrew Luck was there this was a team that we it was a contender to get out of the to get out of the AFC now he's been replaced by a top twenty quarterback and the managing three into record and making them contender that was a very good defense they had last year it's no worse this year and two into Ramona's point with that in game they had a fifteen minute differential in terms of time of possession yesterday so of course you can win football games like that especially when you've got a cheese team that has hobbled by injury and then saw behoves get hobbled you think for Kansas City Kevin that's all it is it's just get healthy and I think it is I think it is healthy but also say about they're running defense they need DB's who come up and plug holes and make tackles it's not so much just about the defensive front seven but you need guys Clo- volunteers service the old monster back from good counts is if you bring it out real good theory the last word the last two weeks that's just out not having the guys on the field form I believe so I believe it's not having the guys in the field for him I believe is protection hasn't been especially great but I will give you this about the colts Tony probably only one team in the league that's a New England patriots that don't have any question mark so if you're a team that's got a winning record or even five hundred you're probably woody less word whites that offensive line of the cheese is really decimated injuries number to mahomes was heard in that first game of the season that same ankle. I don't think it's ever healed they're not talking about it but you are what he paid you're the man who knows that's right Patrick mahomes his body better than anywhere else we'll move up packers thirty four cowboys twenty four come on deck how many of the three picks are you putting back Prescott one called back for penalty to How many the that's interference in roughing calls legit this game was all over the place a little darling you didn't hear something he had heard Mona tell you about the packs what does this tell you about the Dachshund I think this is about the packers because they just keep going down to the in winning big games they're they're they have a record down there and this time it really wasn't about Aaron Rodgers I mean as they scored a lot of points but it wasn't just Aaron pushing the ball there's event that running game rolling and I think for Dallas you just have another year three and two plus two in a row here thank God they've got the jets next week but if they didn't they Oh you got a crisis on your hands down there because his team was supposed to be great and they're not delivering in great thank you for reminding us you thought they were so great that they were GonNa win the game when you're on the show on Friday and your Big Dallas age join us well let's keep in mind that the Dallas cowboys the teams they beaten ardy good the two teams that actually were pretty good have beaten him I believe in I could be wrong Tony and you can do whatever you want to this but I think the distractions with Elliot and the other distractions they had before the season are still in I there that they haven't gotten right since all of that occurred I think Dak Prescott it doesn't look comfortable in the pocket I think the dolphins have line which has rebe problems like Kansas City really hasn't done the job that really is supposed to do there I think I put it all on the offense they haven't really up Elliott last week another bad game there's some issues as real good here's Jerry Jones said on Friday he had a quote comparing press got essentially to Tom Brady in so much that he going to improve an evolving become this really good quarterback man he's got a lot of evolving to do if that's going to be the case I mean those interceptions yeah I put them on Dak late interception down thirty one seventeen that was intended for Randall Cobb was a terrible throw and I don't know if he's costing himself money because he could finish the season strong and ended up getting that forty million dollars he was hoping for but he doesn't look like the guy and he certainly didn't look like against Aaron Rodgers and that team down twenty four nothing at some point it also doesn't look like a team where Ezekiel Elliott can just carry them pass decks mistakes he has to be very good for this team to win at elite level and if you look at his record against teams not very good five and nine since two thousand seventeen he's starting to be in that Kirk type of level where they supposed to be winning at Israel Gutierrez did I hear word there that we're not supposed to be saying uh-huh yes Kevin Blackstone we've said all along that the key to this cowboys team is their running game and specifically so again when you look at this team if you can eliminate him from the game and put the ball in index hands then you've got a better shot at winning the football game and that's exactly what the Akers did yesterday there are still people that believe the Dak Prescott any looked like yesterday is a weak link for this team and not the guy who was going to the three games but now what specifically are you seeing well as I said they had another injury on the offensive line yesterday that was supposed to be really good sure and it's not protecting at as Kevin pointed out Elliott doesn't look the same yes he had a couple good games but he has looked like the guy that was what are you trying to direct program now Jagomir go back we'll move on another week in the NFL in another example of just how thin disappearing the line is between sports and tragedy or what it could be Mason Rudolph gene roth motionless when they take off a face mask it's usually done to ensure they could aid someone breathing let that sink in for second the cars brought out but then Rudolph being walk-off by staff and teammates the car wasn't working other say oh he was able to walk off I don't believe what you want your take away from older I think the card living working and he definitely should've been carted off here's what I think the one thing that disturbed me about this the biggest thing that disturbed me about this afterwards Earl Thomas talked about the hit he said he talked to the referees about whether or not he was in the strike zone he thought he wasn't a strike zone he hit the man some at some point above the shoulders and the Chin you can see that the League has got to take that out the strike zone as can only be shoulders and below and so I think this is a win the League asked to hammer this home to guys even like Earl Thomas who sounded contrite somewhat after the game you can't do that gotta be immediate ejection from the game we'll deal with the consequences later Israel Gutierrez I mean I agree with that about the year old Thomas I agree with the hit being obviously above the shoulders and everything else in turn as of gruesome things that we've seen on the field when you watch the replay and I don't know if this is gonNA sound insensitive it looks like he got hit in the jaw and knocked out if we're watching a UFC fight we would be rating that if we were watching boxing we would be celebrating that it's just an football is so dangerous and so violent that we can see so much worse so in essence we're basically eh as Mason Rudolph got lucky it really wasn't that bad despite how it looked Israel how many times you've heard player on the field say I thought I just lost my teammate lost my friend it looked terrible it looked terrible now again but if he would have seen the replay perhaps he probably wouldn't have thought that but the instant that had happened yes page Israel I kind of disagree with you you look at the overall picture in the NFL this year you've almost got half the quarterbacks in the league that have been injured how many times are we seeing this over and over again with his helmet to helmet hits on a quarterback your most precious commodity in the League and you're losing them everywhere think about position thing I don't need to see a player lying motionless on the field no matter what position they play and here's the here's the point people want to this dirty hit or is it not a dirty hit it doesn't matter it doesn't matter at all you have no control over it could be the cleanest hit if a guy is gonna be lying motionless on the field can't have that go hedwige I'm starting to we're up well that's what I'm talking about you've got to totally revolutionize the rules in regard to that do you do we sit here and say don't ever touch the quarterback that you can't do it that you got to slow down go around him or something you almost have to go to that point I mean you this program can lose all four battles but they can't lose you as the host Tony You're around worn is brought to you by CD's CDW people who get it.

"He weighed as much as a tight end so he's more of your big bodied possession receiver. That's going to be something that i'm sure does kings gonna be matched up on a lot and <hes> you'll see michael davis on him as well. You probably casey hayward playing on t. y. Hilton for most of the game game on sunday bolt from the blue released article today about things to watch out for on sunday and one of the points was the uncertainty at wide receiver and i absolutely absolutely agree t y hilton we know he's talented kind of had some up and down seasons depending on his quarterback play. He'll be the wide receiver one when you have devin funchess just a guy who did not succeed in carolina and they let him go and free agency more of a wide receiver two slash three so low and wide receiver to who's a little bit banged up and and a guy that can match up with pretty good the charge can then you've got guys like dion kane who missed his whole rookie year then you've got a rookie in paris campbell a lot of unknowns so not the consistency of the wide receiver spot but a whole lot of upside to because you don't know what you're going to get out of canaan campbell two players a lot of people were high on. I was not high. I on kane but i was high on paris campbell so we will see how that group shakes out on sunday. The thing that is very good and maybe the best one two punch in terms of tight ends are the colts tight ends eric brown who of course came over from the lions and was a pro bowler last year in jack doyle. Jack doyle was the guy was hoping the charge would target if you remember from last season during the trade deadline. This is a guy that i would have liked to see the chargers pickup but again this one one two punch from hebron. Doyle is going to be true tests for these linebackers could still pretty young you talked about uncertainty with receivers uncertainty with the linebackers to kaiser kaiser white injured early on his rookie year. You've got a brand new linebacker who still a veteran but learning this new system. Thomas davis then you've got guys like drew tranquil and mckay jake boulay and then you've got senator whoa su who kind of came on halfway through the back end of last year so there's a lot of uncertainty there to denzel perryman you you know what you're going to get from him but a little banged up so these are two guys that i think the colts will attack charge defense with jack doyle eric braun on probably going to be the biggest receiving threat lebron's will probably behind t. y. Hilton so definitely talented group there in the tight ends and something charges will have to defend and watch out for on sunday the running back group not so much marlin mac more of your ground and pound the hime hines a guy like that a college marv marv your scott back the two behind him john williams jordan wilkins were on the injury report so we'll see if williams wilkins goes on sunday but <hes> marla mackney hime himes is not the most talented running back group <hes> something that the chargeable have to stop on sunday of course the have to do it every sunday but this isn't a group. That's supposed hosts. Put up one hundred yards on you. You know they don't have one hundred yard rusher in that group so if they're giving up one hundred yards to marla mac they're in trouble. That might be good for some guys fantasy. Let's see team. That's listening but that will not be good for the chargers defense because they have got to stop the run. This is not a group that's particularly strong so they have got to take advantage manage and stop the run. We'll see with these interior guys jerry tillery cortez broughton. We'll see brandon me. Bane of course justin jones a lot of young guys up front and we'll see how they do against his running back group but it's going to be a true test with these ends and tackles because this very talented offensive line group anthony costanzo on the left side..

"Bad. It's score more podcast. Go follow us at score more pod. What did you score morons. We're back at it and i'm happy to do it. Charges are finally playing football on sundays again at least football that matters week one is upon us score. More podcast is back so it's gonna be a really really short podcast as you probably know by looking at the time on this podcast cash right now. Stop looking at it. <hes> it short short because normally. I've got some games to watch on teams. I've got some stats bats where teams are struggling. Were teams are thriving right now. I've got nothing because there hasn't been any games played so we're going to go ahead and get into the colts. Holt chargers matchups some things. The chargers should attack where they could succeed where they'll have to succeed. We'll talk about all that offense and defense and i if you don't remember from last year we go over the injury report and then we go over the opposing team's offense and defense so let's go ahead and get right into it again. There's going to be short not allowed to tape to go off of obviously because there hasn't been a lot going on and preseason practically doesn't count now teams are playing starters less and less look at the chargers so there isn't a lot to gain from preseason for me so i'm just gonna go right into it and we'll talk about the injury report for the chargers. They had three players not practice on wednesday to tape his brown linebacker. The safety undrafted the free agent rodrick team or did not participate and the corner trevor. Williams did not participate either denzel perryman andrew tranquil. The linebackers were both unlimited. Tranquil was sore from game for the preseason perryman. Of course we'll have his position dethroned. His starting gig goes goes to kaiser white and deservingly so so we'll probably still see paramount but he was limited on wednesday. Isaac rochelle was a full participant. He should be good to go as the team's third slash fourth pass rusher depending on where he put new owes who for the colts djebel sheer the defensive end to headline this group by far one of the most underrated players in the n._f._l. He did not participate on wednesday and it seems that he will not play for week. One johnathan williams running back to participate with a rib injury and then they had three other players limited on wednesday the wide receiver devin funchess. Who was there wide receiver or to corner kenny more the second did not participate with a thumb injury and the running back jordan wilkins didn't participate either as two running backs who who were banged up on wednesday for the colts so let's go ahead and get into it and of course the big news for the colts offense is no more andrew luck tuck. He retired and it is jacoby. Bruce set now's recently on a colts podcast and i asked the host about kobe percent and the one thing that he kept talking about and kept hitting on with jacoby percents long ball that he has one of the best depots he's ever seen now. I'm not sure go that far but for a man who can really sling it. This is something that the chargers defense also look out for special on the back end ray. Sean jenkins looked just fine in the preseason now second round pick this year adderley phenomenal in game four but of course he's not going to get the start. It's gonna be rachel jenkins so the back. The end is going to have some issues on the outside with t. y. Hilton a guy who can definitely stretch the field and of course this'll be the first true test for racial jenkins in the back second defense at free safety if he can contain a guy like t. y. Hilton now devin funchess who was banged up on wednesdays or wide receiver to but also a guy that isn't going to be a guy that stretches the field coming out of college..

"To choose the folks booing over his love of wife and life and self and health for us cold fans are understandably mad about what could have been as if what could have been wouldn't be in his mind more than theirs on those sleepless nights ten years from now. It's an odd thing to say given the worship around the gladiator game given the football players consider themselves warriors but sometimes there is great strength. What might look like weakness. What a difficult decision. This must have been for andrew andrew luck to put down his pride in the middle of the battle and let the arrows descend upon him because it's simply hurt too much to continue to fight other really come on man. Come on those kinda politic come on uh-huh oh their turn to talk so now they're awake welcome to highly questionable. This amino has what do you like on the show. Today i mean you're the only one with the monologue i wrote something to about andrew luck yeah. You know it's kinda crazy to think the ten years ago this story can happen. I'm not talking about andrew luck walking away from the super bowl contending team and potentially hundreds of millions of dollars but rather the idea that the news will come come out in the middle of a game and we'd have the uncomfortable situation. We're stadium full of people would all know a very intimate piece of information about a person and that person would be oblivious. The fact that that private information was now very public because he wasn't a big long as many fans began voicing their opinion about retirement and so his lasting memory three of his last time on the football team was thousands of his hands booing and i'm going to pull up dan and bore you with a stern admonishment of how fans supposed to react to pointing running out their hopes of watching their team marked super bowl are dash to smithereens rather. I'm fascinated by how those people got to know because ten years ago twitter and have the wide retail today we find all of our breaking news not just because we're all on it but because all the news breakers have adopted as the main medium in which they do their job and that's what i want to focus on a lot of people were apparently upset adam schefter for doing his job. He broke a new story. That's what he does. Shefty doesn't know anything to look to the colts go spans. He did his job find out a fairly newsworthy fact and make it public to job. He does extraordinarily well but it's also also job he can only do if you supplied with that information and that supplier is who should be the object of derision not shefty because lever supply saftey knows what she does for a living who would do such a dastardly thing who would benefit from the release of music clearly put luck in uncomfortable awkward negative light right. You gotta start with the most agree party. The indianapolis colts neil guys. Were you talking. I also have something to say for the love of god on a day like today i think about his father oliver luck oliver. Deliver must be so proud of his son. I wonder what is like being proud of your son and smart feet sensitive athletic respectful asset said full head of hair feathers of having someone like that it is too late for me but for all of the father south there ratio sewn to someone when you can be proud of one someone again you look shoot miami feel good about their loss to floria own knock it off. Come on that was incompetent football on both sides of the ball miami went with a young quarterback on the road and lost the game. It could have won but only because florida's. There's quarterback was towing. An inexplicable. Interception with four minutes left in the game these teams. We're not ready to start the season..

"It's an odd thing to say today. Given the warship around the gladiator game given the football players consider themselves warriors but sometimes the hardest bravest bravest thing to do is to quit. What a difficult decision. This must have been for andrew luck to let down his teammates and supporters and relationships in the building ending and his city days before another season in battle to pay literally hundreds of millions of dollars in future earnings to get out of the fight to throw throw away his glorious football future and glorious football fame and what has until now been his entire identity before the age of thirty he must have been in a great deal of pain to choose that and it is fitting that the last act of colts fans before his retirement was to boo him for deciding and hurt him yet some more football broke his body and mind and at the very end his city finalize the transaction by breaking his heart. Andrew luck seemed to genuinely love the football in a way that was uncommon but that love rotted over a very short time as his body betrayed him. This seems to be more of an indictment of the game than him so his very last throw is the colt was to throw it all away. Dak prescott reportedly turned down thirty million dollars a year. What do you think luck was gonna earn over the next decade. The man made eight colts fans not worry about replacing peyton bleeping manning but the hurt and the fear and the unhappiness was enough for lock that he gave away all sorts of millions and and was willing to endure the scorn and shame of teammates and fellow warriors and angry fans just to make it all go away peace of mind. That's what he bought and and a considerable price pieces of his body. That's what he gave and considerable price but the sports fan isn't entitled beast with a conditional love directly proportional to what luck did for your fantasy team that week colds fans booed either luck or the circumstances but either way the last sound luck felt from the city he always represented with grace was a hostile frustration benedict andrew he turned his body over them and the doctors and they literally chased him off the a field with their angry noise and self interest at the end was supposed to keep quietly choosing pain for us. He was supposed to keep choosing unhappiness happiness for us. He was supposed to push it all down like a man. Maybe even develop an opioid addiction for us football's daily rigors screwed up his shoulder shoulder his ankle his cat his mind his joy and his love of the game he was supposed.

"You can watch this live every day at about three o'clock central time on my Twitter. Periscope. That's at our Joe. You can also watch a long live on the blog on the boys. Facebook live feed it is Sunday. December sixteenth two thousand eighteen we are not alone. We are joined by the one the only the man himself. My dad Papa Ocho was gonna do. Hey, just here. Indianapolis town. We are in Indianapolis. I don't know the area code. Also, it said the big, you know, like one two three or whatever, I don't know the area, we aren't Indianapolis the Cowboys loss to the Indianapolis Colts a lot of you that follow us. No, we do a road game every year with the Cowboys game kinda make trip of it sort of our annual father son thing we were fortunate and blessed enough that we two trips this year, we went to. Lanta early on in the season. And now we came to Indianapolis and the Cowboys loss and the Cowboys lose the Cowboys got skunked twenty three to nothing. We've seen a lot of things in our travels. We had never seen a blanket that. Yeah. I know it was disappointing especially because they moved the ball affectively at least in the first half between the twenties and they couldn't punch it in. They just kind of disintegrated. Once they got inside the twenty and all kinds of errors, and you know, just mental stuff, and you know, just bad play calling just a lot of bad things that went for went wrong for them. Once they got inside the red zone. Well, that's kind of been the story of even who they are when they're successful. I mean specifically to the five game win streak which ended today, obviously with the loss of Indianapolis. They've. Had trouble, you know, they can knock on the door. But then when nobody answers, they just go home. You know what I mean? And so today, they really kinda got off on the left foot note with the blocked field goal attempt early on and I meant to tweet this. But there was some internet issues all the credit in the world to Chris Jones. And Brent Maher running that day, you'll see every kicker and holder do that. But obviously, they're very very good. But I think before we dive into the game. I think an over sort of arching message needs to be stated, or at least I want to stay in is that this look at sucks that they lost. And that they they lost the way they did. But if you had told me a week ago, you said look man, you can have one of these two games. You can have one between Philly, and Indianapolis even know that we were gonna come here. We're gonna expense and everything like that. I would have taken these results a hundred times out of one hundred it sucks the Cowboys loss. And again, nothing makes that better, but they did take care. Of the important business. They put themselves in a position where they were allowed to so to speak to lose this game. They're not gonna win all sixteen games in the NFL. You're not gonna have a win streak that goes on forever. And it's just the way things are, and it is very disappointing the way they lost. But overall, I feel like they're still at a very good place. And if anything this is a bit of a, you know, humbling moment, just to gut check. Yeah. No. I mean, I agree with that. You know, obviously, we're disappointed. But you know, we talked a six weeks ago about the gauntlet the five game gauntlet was upcoming at that time. And we said then that if they went three and two through that gauntlet that that would be fair that would be, you know, meeting the expectation they actually went five zero down to that. So, you know, attack this game on you know, instead of a five game six game gauntlet, then they went five and one through this gauntlet in, you know, it's not bad. It's not terrible. So you know, what better have been a? Close game. But you know, I I also have a theory on this game that it's a game of two extremes were the colds played way beyond what they're capable in their abilities are and obviously the Cowboys played way below what they've demonstrated they can do consistently in the past game. So you know, you take the average of that..

"The mic and I talked about it early this morning. It's about what we expected coming from the game. We knew the colts were outmanned out personnel. I mean, from a healthy standpoint, this is this is some of the worst conditions you can be at for Thursday night game. The late overtime game, we know about them losing to the Texans. Then after the travel to New England, like they didn't even have enough guys to suit up for the whole forty, seven man roster like they had guys actively who could have played. But no, they weren't healthy enough to build to play. So we knew coming into the game, they would pick them apart. We knew that the colts couldn't blitz to create enough pressure on Tom Brady because he didn't wanna play man to man. We thought that he would immediately start going back to element which he did. We thought the running backs with play a role throwing. And catching James white, and so many Michelle, and they did. I mean, Tom Brady for me, Nick afternoon. What I thought about the game. I said, Tom, I think Tom just gonna play forever. You actually said is, why would he ever stop? Why would you quit if you're Brady and this, these are the circumstance. The game is too easy. I mean, they can't rush, and even if they do rush you, they can land on you. They can't hit you too can into your head, you know? So the game is so much easer ever been into me. There was there was not a point in the game where I think Tom Brady was stressful one little bit like so when you can play the game like that. I mean, that's what New England is going to be able to do. Now. They got Eshelman back. You can see the Josh Gordon Brady starting to be a little more comfortable with him. Well, how do you know that? Not only the number of plays that he play, but the ball when Brady was scrambling and he throws that ball up and there's two defenders. Their Brady does not do that unless he trusts you. So I believe that that will pay dividends as long as Josh can can do. Everything. The patriot way game after game Elman gave them that emotional live, I told them about, so yeah, this is what I expect from the pats in October. They're going to start turning the corner. They're going to play better football, but for us to think that this is a team that would be Townsend AFC. No, it's not the Coulter along ways away. The colts have a lot of issues when they're fully healthy and it's why any evaluation of Andrew luck is probably going to have to wait until next year because he's not only coming back from injury, but he also even with a fully healthy roster, doesn't have enough talent around in one of those. The final picky through yesterday was off a receivers, hands on a perfectly thrown ball, but speaking of picks offer Cevers hands. I mean, I didn't see Brady make a mistake yesterday, and I think this speaks to the point you were making, which is why would he stop playing? He was never under duress. He seemed totally comfortable. I thought Troy Aikman told a great story and it's funny listening to Troy. Call these games because he saw Brady was grazed on the head and they called a personal foul, and you can hear it in Troy's voice. Like, do you remember what I with through and look at my. I mean, look at what and so he. But he told a story about watching a film from game that was kind of forgotten from a few years ago, Tom Brady pats game where Brady's numbers weren't that good. Any was constantly under derived duress, and the story told was, but Brady clearly had decided, I'm not getting sacked that one thing that's not going to happen in this game is we are in a bad down in distance because I get sacked and he said he thought it was one of the best quarterback in performance. It's he's at. He had ever seen even though the numbers wouldn't say that because of the control yet over the game. And last night you saw that he wasn't constantly under duress, but when he was because he knew the only way the cult would get back in the game as a strip sack and injury, some super negative play. If they had pressure, I'm going to get rid of it..

"If they belong on the field but to go an entire season for jericho that's pretty stunning it's hard to be a quarterback in the nfl it is hard to be a young guy playing quarterback in the nfl two joerg off a season and gulf headed against the cult by the way sluggish giant asterik there i point is cleveland fence if played pittsburgh tough and kaiser look like him i belong speaking oh my goodness the colts oh check lagaan of i said this earlier in it's hard to say sensitively soldiers say it these will more important in football bile a landslide and a wonderful thing not just for him for people who are battling similar diseases the chuck began will be cancer i really do but he doesn't is or the job that he hasn't hasn't for a long time and those things you have to be sort of separate of value asians and not the pick on like misstating the name of a team but you gotta be eager to know where you are here play the colts that under lock but the colts but that's a whole living floreal might florio from bolt are things that could be weak five six without a guarantee howick it will be by then like it could be that long so i get the cold don't have andrew look but i think it's worth point out under lock doesn't play defense so those forty six points will have a lot to do with him and check the gano you'll he got an airplane with his team they flew to los angeles city in california looks vastly different the bay area i know because i've lived there and after the game went out and credited a team they didn't play against we got our ask your and credit forty nine hirszon coach mcveigh yeah coach mcveigh doesn't goats encodes the than honors bre ace is the rams coach and the city called a los angeles which is a very very distinct place come on man come on man um we didn't do that i didn't wanna talk a lotta zeke versus the nfl football and ziege was awesome just football awesome awesome and as much as eli in that offense was brutal on uh ob j didn't play i'll be curious to see the giants defense when they're not going up against that cowboys offense of line and.
