"The show is about a British soccer team that inexplicably hires an American college football coach. The players are skeptical at first, but lasso's kindness wins them over. Hannah waddingham plays the team's owner, Rebecca Wilton, Bret Goldstein, plays the soccer legend, Roy Kent, Hannah Brett, hello. Hey. Hello. Hi. It's like having two 12 year olds. Wonderful. It's wonderful. Okay. I'm just going to have a moment because this series basically saved me. The series saved me. I know you probably hear that from so many people that they were like, oh, take a chance on this Ted Lasso, and then they were like, this is the thing that makes me feel like it's all gonna be okay. That's very nice to hear. Is that what you hear? Yeah, it is, but it never gets old because how could we ever get tired of hearing that something we've all been a part of and loved ourselves? Has made such a difference to people and got through a really awful time. And also, we would be the worst people if people came up to us and said, your show saved us, and we were like, yeah, heard it. Whatever. So congratulations on your Emmy nominations. I know every domination best supporting actor and actress in a comedy series. So where did you what happened when you found out where were you? Who told you Bret Goldstein? Well, that was just I was in my underwear in the hotel room and Hannah wedding and came to my door and said, every single person that you know has been known to prevent. Including you. Give me a hug. And you said, you know, I said yes. I just can't hit anyway. I mean, that's my kind of way to start the day. Oh, yeah. Rhett, you've done obviously television film theater. You've written, but you've said that your career goal that you have not achieved yet is to work with Muppets. Yes. Yeah, that's it. That's the only thing there's two things left on my bucket list. One is jump out of a plane and the other is work with Muppets. And then after that, if I do it in reverse or invite work with my pits and then jump out of a plane, I don't mind if the parachute doesn't open. You grew up at a family of opera singers. And obviously you've done plenty of sing yourself and plenty of musical theater as I don't know a child or a teenager. Was there an idea that you might become an opera singer as well? No, because my mother and her mother were and are both opera singers. And so I think I kind of bucked against it, and that's why I went into musical theater, but having said that, last February before we all locked down, I did really like proper high operatic soprano role as playing Queen Elizabeth II and I was a bit like I shouldn't have bucked against this because this is actually you know you can just tell that something sits well with you. I should have just done that. And my mom, after, there you go 'cause she always sounds like she's singing. She went, there you go. Using your proper voice for a change. Oh. You were right. Yeah. She calls it shouty singing musical theater. Show me. Shout you singing. Wow. I don't know why you all just sounded like your shouting all the time. Okay, well let's bring out a little bit of your competitive spirit with some games. Are you ready for some games? Yeah. Always. Okay, excellent. You'll work together in this game. It's about the legendary film composer John Williams. And his music will be performed by our very own Jonathan Colton, the way it was meant to be played on an acoustic guitar. We decided to write lyrics to John Williams most famous movie themes to make songs about other famous people with the last name Williams. So to earn a point, you can tell me any of the following things. The name of the person that I'm saying about or the movie that the score comes from. Okay. Gorgeous. Here we go. He's one.

Naked Mole Rats: The Key to Slowing Human Aging?

"Rodents only live a few years. Maybe six at the most for some of the common ones. That's comparative biologist. Russia buffet stein was stunned in the late nineties. When the naked mole rats that she'd been studying just wouldn't die. She was working with some that. Were more than fifteen years old and one naked mole rat who she first met while doing doctoral work in the eighties. A pink and wrinkly dude named joe. He is now thirty nine years old and officially the oldest living naked mole rat on record. He's barely aged at all in nearly four decades and there is every expectation that he'll make it to the big four. Oh thanks to the work of buffon's stein and increasing number of scientists studying naked mole rats and various capacities. We now know that the creatures have an astonishing lifespan of around thirty years. Joe is an anomaly of the anomalies. Of course anyone who's read. Harry potter knows what's going on here. Joe is clearly a shape shifting wizard who faked his own death after joining a colton murdering his best friend. so he's been hiding out as a naked mole rat for the past few decades. I'm onto you joe. But magical explanations aside naked mole rats. It turns out are fascinating. In addition to living exceptionally long. Lives for rodents naked mole. Rats unlike other mammals aren't susceptible to many diseases like arthritis cancer and alzheimer's they can also withstand long periods without oxygen and are impervious to pain from acid. There is so much about naked mole. Rats that is absolutely wild and researchers still trying to figure out the reason for a lot of it but we're starting to get more information because a lot more players have entered the ring in recent years due to the naked mole rats relative lack of aging and low occurrence of age associated disease. The Moral Imperative Behind the Big Bold Jewish Climate Fest

"Earlier this year. More than five thousand people gathered online for the first big bowl. Jewish climate fest a five day festival designed to connect jewish values with climate action. Lisa colton produced the festival. She says that for many jews. Climate change has become a moral issue when framed as a moral issue. It requires that people get off of the sidelines. That you are either on the right side of history or you're not and the question is not whether you think this is real or you think it's important the question is what are you doing about it. She says the festival helped people. Share ideas motivate one another and identify climate actions. That jewish leaders can prioritize such as divesting. Rabbis pension funds from fossil fuels. We heard a lot of leaders political leaders. Jewish communal leaders and others articulate their commitment to this issue and the challenge. Moving forward will be to hold them to those commitments and ensure that the energy and momentum generated during the festival translates into action throughout the year.

"Underwood was a former bachelor on the show. He was branded as the virgin bachelor and he ended up with this girl. Cassie they are not together anymore. That is bare bones of what you need to know. If you remember me of someone jumping offense that's also did you can let that go from your brain if that's not important to you okay. So that's talk about colton. He came out as gay. He made the revelation in an interview. With robin roberts today on. Abc's good morning. America obviously like this year's been a lot for a lot of people and it's probably made a lot of people look themselves in the mirror and figure out who they are and what they've been running from or what they've been putting off in their lives and for me I've ran for myself for a long time. I paid myself for a long time. And i'm gay. And i came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing. Colton told roberts that he remembered god when he was selected for the bachelor because he believed his prayers asking to be made straight had been answered would start in the twenty third season of the bachelor where his supposed virginity was a hot topic. He's also remembered for an iconic shot of him over a fence contestant. Cassie randolph. Like i told you whom he dated for two years. It should also be noted that after the pair broke up randolph filed a restraining order against underwood over allegations. You stalking her specifically. "Man, You are for the 40 minutes a day. That that we have him. Maybe less way could make a huge impact where the first things they see the last ones they see. Colton was born four months early. He was £1.3 ounces. He and Nora fought hard to survive. It's been a tough slog for Colton 12 surgeries, he lost a good chunk of his small intestine. Both retinas were detached. He had glaucoma and lost all vision. At the age of three. He has been diagnosed with autism, and through it all, there has been music. His dad, Andy remembers. So at some point we got in a little Like a toddler little keyboard with, like, five keys on it. He would start to repeat sounds back, so we kind of thought he might have a knack for it. Music calmed him at night. So when he was little, he liked to have some bedtime music on in the evenings. You know, while he was falling asleep, so we did a lot of classical music. Keeton listen to songs over and over again, and he tried to replicate them. By the time he was six, he had an innate understanding of harmonics and chords. And it made him so happy. She, uh This is Colton now playing Chopin. I'm just Amazed that he's like that. He's my brother because he's so amazing at playing it. Listen as he turned Chopin into jazz. "His for the taking. Whether he was a modern day Robin Hood or an envious teen with no regard for his many victims. There's one thing that's undisputable Colton? Harris. Moore was a smart kid from a troubled home who wasn't afraid to follow his dreams. No matter the cost. It. Would all come to a head on a hot summer night in two thousand ten. After nearly two years on the run barefoot bandit was spotted at Marina on harbour island in the Bahamas someone called out to him Hey, stop what are you doing year? But the barefoot bandit dropped his shoes and shirt on the dock and jumped into the water. He swam out into the darkness and managed to climb onto a boat with the keys still inside. But the police were hot on his tail in a yacht of their own they gave chase firing of the stolen vote disabling the engine the bandit was cornered. Ready to give up just yet he took out a gun and pointed it at his own head threatening to pull the trigger. But he decided to give himself up instead. Still, barefoot the band was handcuffed and taken back to shore to the police station where he was met by throngs of followers. Your piece was on point and descriptive of human psychology and what we humans are capable of you know he just goes on and on to talk about that relationship. But I mean, that's that's like the highest of high praises when you take a person's victims story and give them that platform to share it and his response was amazing. He would go on to say the production and your scene of the crime is extraordinary. I mean he's gushing a little. Bit But anyway we'll take it but getting back to the case the barefoot bandit a huge investigation in the Pacific northwest so yeah and talk about the psychology of it all we're really going to get into that he grew up in a home marked by instability loss and alcohol abuse that's how one psychologist would describe Colton. Harris Moore for court he was neglected by the schools the police, his family and according to Colin's aunt his mother was an alcoholic a mean drunk who would break colts toys as a form of punishment when he was growing up when Colton was just four or five. Years old his father left the family and his mom remarried but according to court records, her new husband was a heroin addict and while Colton and his stepfather actually seemed to get along. Okay. His stepdad died when he was just ten years old I, believe it was connected with his heroin abuse soon after there was another boyfriend who moved in with the family and that's when the calls to child protective services started they were called to the home on at least twelve different occasions. One time taking Colton out of his mother's care for several days in May of two, thousand, three when Colton. was just twelve years old. His father apparently made a short and violent reappearance in his life court records show that Gordon Moore allegedly pushed his son to the ground then grabbed him by the throat. He ran off into the woods as Colton called nine, one one, his father was eventually arrested, and that was apparently the very last time that Colton ever had any contact with him now as Colton an only child I believe. So I mean as far as I know I've never heard of any siblings. Okay. So he's basically in this alone you know when you have siblings, you can lean on them. But it sounds like this kid is on his own. Yeah I believe. So so after that incident with his father, though Colton mom reportedly blamed him court records show that Pam was drunk as per usual and she was saying things like, what are you going to do now? They've taken your father away. So putting all the blame on her son for calling nine, one, one, six months after that incident Colton was arrested for the first time he and three other boys were breaking into the middle school that they attended. He ended up pleading guilty in that case to using a butane torch lighter to. Burn a hole into a school window, and then he took off with a laptop and some blank CDs, and for that because he was a juvenile, he was sentenced to six months of supervision and fifty six hours of community service, and this is kind of interesting because that's kind of a creative way to get into a school. You know I mean I bet you he was kind of like the ringleader on that one like, okay. Why don't we do knowing what we'll know about his history I mean normally would be like I don't know let's break a window or using a butane torch. Take. Some planning I mean does that make sense it does and something interesting that we'll get into a little bit later on is Colton talks about people being aware of what they're capable of he says so many people are capable of so much more than they're aware of and I think this goes to show that he was aware from a pretty early age of what he was capable death. To, carry it out. So in a two, thousand, four report when Colton would have been about thirteen, his probation officer wrote about him Colton and his mother share a tumultuous relationship. Cotton's mother reported to me how he's violent at home on a near daily basis. He recently broke the telephone in order to prevent her from calling the police. She then showed me a mark on her forearm of how had bid her and reported a recent incident where Colton went off after her with a boat or so mom now says that Colton is abusing her and in that same report, his mother reported how Colton was on medication and she said that He was complying with the medication. The doctors had given him in that. His behavior was actually getting less hostile as a result. So she felt like the medication might have been working, but his aunt would later say that it made him. So sleepy all the time that he just he slept constantly and and she didn't feel like it agreed with him and I don't think Colton really enjoyed it either well, and I think even though I don't know all the particulars of the case just that description of the chaos in the house where you know he's biting hirsch she's going after him like it really speaks to just the level of..

And they pointed to almost in his podcast. They thought this'll be good platform for him to get for the listeners out there to get to know him better. And we just want to thank you to anybody that made that happen. Colton was genuine as usual authentic as usual and also honest as you're our next guest has seen Colton honesty up close and personal after being eliminated on night one. She's known the podcast. We know our sloth girl are you out there? How are you doing to Kloster? All good. Hi, what's your name? I know it but tell everybody. My name's Alex. Outselling, alex. How does it feel being known as the sloth girl this week? Fine. I'll take it. It's definitely new marry me. But I guess it's kinda cute kind of sex as though on making work talk girl. Is it weird that you got eliminate night one? And yet you are still one of the most talked about girls. I mean, the kind of an expensive because there's a strong gimmick. So now, it's not weird at is a little funny though, because so many people and put in Kohl's and George did not know my actual name, which is so funny Ning, but yeah, no, it's been nice, so far it's been kind of been some love. And then there's been some native comments as well. So it's all across the board with the whole flock in. Reversely from the bachelorette season. We've had Joe grocery store. Joe go from being eliminated on night one to dancing with the stars. Do you see yourself from dancing with the stars? So I'm not really the best, sir. Not really a factor here. But so when I'm gonna marry him would Joe I mean, obviously, I love comparison. It's still flattering at the same time. I think it's just so vastly different from my understanding, what don't they what was on the show and was like. Like you look so beautiful. And that was it. From Sam how long I mean. How does it differ from being one of the twenty five guys? I'm back to being the leading man are the emotion. Similar? Well, it changes because I hand the roses out instead of being handed arose. So that's so that's nice. Are the emotion? Similar? No. But they're they're different. In a in a just in a different way. But yes, it's as emotional just in a different way. Okay. Cold cold up timeout that that did not do it for me. Why are they similar? No, they're just different in a different way. What do you do? So the question you just said, no, they're different in a different way. Whammy relinquish. Emotion. Similar? Like, what are the motions? Like, let's go into a little bit. The oceans not motions, emotions what are the two different emotions. You felt during emotions are different because you're on the other side. Like, you're you're sitting there and you have to break up with women. Yeah. There's well. I don't think he'll. But it's just like the trust factor. Are you trusting are? Are you really like you have to be confident? And you said that to me too, Ben in one of our chances like you just have to be competent in the decisions that you make because it's going to eat you up. So then there's always that emotion. That's in it. But then. It just wasn't emotional roller coaster because you leave these dates where it's like, oh, this is amazing. I'm on a high. And then you find something out about another relationship. You're like, oh, this could be pivotal. So it's like the ups and downs are higher when you're the lead because you at all feel weird Colton when because there's two two two minutes here. There's a deleted scene that United man. I get why it's deleted yet. A lot going on. There's a big show in front of us. But I did we sat down like, hey, man. "But I'm happy for him as long as they're happy stunned. I know there's something on your heart. I know there's something you're feeling deep inside you have questions for Colton. And so take it away. Okay. So okay. Here's my first later one. So I know you're probably sick of talking about this. I know you love me must be so sick of talking about how your virgin, but maybe you're not now, I don't even know I have no clue but on a scale of one to ten how sick of you were talking about that. I would say the hardest part for it right now. I knew it was obviously going to come up with my relationships with the ladies in the women on my show. The hardest part. Now, I think post show is like watching every single article have the headline of virgin bachelor. I think that's what is sort of tough for me because I've gone through in my life before with football is like I've dealt with my family and my relationships with my friends being dependent on oh house next season gonna go. So I've already been in a comparable situation where people wanted to find me in stick me in the box of, you know, well, now, it's virgin bachelor before it was football Colton. And there's no and they just act like there's nothing more to me. Well, do you do you think does it annoy the do you think that they like pick you? But because of that, and you're kinda like there's more to me than there. I Don I mean on one thing nine a position to say why exactly they picked me? Yeah. Part of is this part of the storyline is people are people going to be invested in it. Absolutely. I hope that that's not the only reason that they picked me in. I mean, I I think there is a lot more to me. There is a lot more information to be said about the virginity and you will find it out on this season. I can't wait. I so I don't know how much you guys. I don't know how much you guys know about me or not. But I'm a fitness instructor today in class. I was telling everyone that I was be on the show..

"I just find you less intimidating. But in a good way is that like is that offensive sound? No, no, not at all. Because like I feel like I could actually do the first night and be like just jive e but with Ben I'd probably be like, oh my goodness. This man, he's so smooth. And he knows exactly all the right things to say. But I don't think I realized that too. I don't want people to say just the right things. And then question are you just saying that because there's a camera in your face or? Yeah. Goal. That's the word approachable. He's approachable. And also, I think it helps Colton bet you've been so vulnerable. I know we've we've hated over and over again hearing about you know, what your history in bed has been. But it has made you vulnerable like it's forced to be authentic and genuine something. That's maybe one of the things that most of us hide the most about ourselves or talk about the least we've known about it for a long time. I should probably mention that. That's probably why I find Colton the most approachable because I went in on the bachelor being virgin do. Did you disclose it in casting? Yeah. Did you no way? No. They didn't man. Like per se. Like, there's no way they knew because I didn't like I hadn't really told that many people and the people I did were like tight lipped about it. So beca. Tell you also didn't talk about it and casting, and I didn't I never thought it was going to be that big of a deal. Yeah. I just casually talked about it in an interview. Or I think I was talking in one of my demand chats, and I brought it up and then it became like everybody. You know, everybody had their opinions on it. Which is what the show is. Right. I mean, people they like when people have opinions about certain things, but I never I never thought it was going to be like this. I don't even want to say powerful because it's not like that. But it's like a label, and that's the one thing. That's driving me nuts. The most about is just the label. Yeah. And you can't get away with that, they're focusing more. It seems like on you finding your first unless if you finding your wife. Maybe they're one and the same. I mean, hopefully, I mean, yeah, that's reasons for maize like now where I'm at in my life. It's like when that moment happens. I wanted to be with somebody who I could see myself spending the rest of my life with. Yeah. Ashley from the talks with with you. I bet you'd agree. Hey, we gotta take a second. We have a huge fan of massive fan of Colton on the line right now who has called in Steph P R you out there. I'm here. Hi. Hi. How are you? Good. How are you guys? Great. Well, sometimes we just have really big guests on. I don't feel like we have that today. So you deal. Yes. Sometimes you have such big guests on that. I get like my hands. A little sweaty wanted to do is our guests a little bit. But before we do that. Actually, I've got run down to this episode. The bachelor season has started this episode two of Colton season to find love Ashley. Yeah. Let's start with the first group date the first group rate from episode tale from two okay? What do you think? So again thought that the Meghan allow Malawi and Nick Offerman thing is kinda yucky. I didn't I didn't love their part. I loved the part when the girl started getting on stage the red had a lease. Yeah. Hers was bomb. I thought Cullens was awesome. Colton 's part of that day made all the Virginia talk tasteful, but mega Malawi Nick Offerman admitted so cringe e I was like frowning through the entire thing. I just didn't like it. It was not bachelor. You know, it wasn't wholesome at all, No. no. And they're funny like their witty. They're funny. They work off each other. Well, and I'm sure like if you were there probably felt like a little more like less, like just intrusive and more flow, easy and fun. I'm with you. I love dates on the bachelor that first off put people out of their comfort zones. But second off you actually get to like know them as people, and I thought this when I first heard the idea when they when they first announced this is a date to talk about your first, I was like this is ridiculous. I've been wearing more time. But then when the woman got on stage, it wasn't just about virginity. And it wasn't just a tax. And it didn't have to be about that. It was like, here's my first time feeling pain. Here's my first time feeling love. Here's my first time, we whatever. And I was like this is what I love. And I bet if we ever get the chance to talk to Colton I bet like that was a really good moment for him. Because I know what I was the bachelor those moments broke through like the traditional kind of dates in allowed you to get to know, the women, really, well, you know ban. It kind of reminded me of what I've always told. You is the moment that I thought you shine for the first time, it was the sex talk date with the kids, and it's like it's like a it's like, it's the sex topic. Right. But then you made it so wholesome, and that's what the girls stage and Colton on the sage did. But I thought Nick and Meghan. I thought she looked fantastic. But I don't think they're bit went. Well when west look. Good. I've never thought she looked good. She looked. She looked hot like she's like, really good Jing. Yeah. Yeah. Nick good to. He's a funny guy was with them at the cubs game. Is here's a cubs fan. So I like him. He looked good to the women shine were getting a little hit here. Ashleigh? We're starting to see the some of the craziest come out before move onto the next day. Here. What your thoughts is Demi crazy is she just obsessed with Colton? What is her thing because we haven't quite like, it's not very clear yet Demis the classic girl..

"I love glitter. My dad used to hate me for it when I was little, but I love it. So, but again, yeah, it's in in the right settings which I don't think I always held the bachelorette is always the right setting. I so for those two months. It was great. I haven't worn a sense. But show, I didn't didn't know it sequencer. I always thought it was just weird. Needle really? He's the one that told me what it was actually. Colin. All right. So the preview for the season. What are you all think this? I mean, we saw some man tears. I mean, those tears that we saw night are not they're not tears of a boy there to use of a man. Are you all excited about what's to come? Yeah. I am I want to know why he jumped over that fence. That's what I'm dying to know. And I hope it's over something. Good. Because if it's like over something live come on you built that up. He he ran down the driveway for a mile and then over the thing. But it's like this crazy. That's the best pull up I've ever seen. I can't even do that. Like a props for. This was always been good at teasing us like pumping up something in. I have a feeling that what we saw when he jumped through the fins and Chris Harrison freaking out and cold and running down the road is going to live up to everything that we hope it does. I don't think it's just like something that happened. I think it's a big deal. Hopefully because I mean, I will sound my season. They built up the whole ambulance scene and the engine and I don't. Want to make light of the situation. But it was a followed of a bed in more when you open the freezer and your chicken full zone. It's the grim. David. He comes on the pocket time for comic relief. Just loved that guy. But yeah, I just I I want to know what that's all about. I think it's going to be good season. Actually, do you. I do. I really do. I'm excited because you know, they keep telling us this one. They really mean is the most dramatic yet excited for cold? What do we actually think the most dramatics? He's in has been so far Jason has to be. He did a switch. Yeah. And I always want that season. That's the first one I've ever watched. It's so much. It's your sort like those little sit down and do it is just brutal. Like what a just savage move on his part. It's like I'm gonna wait and do this on live TV. Wild Dun, Dun, Dun brutal. So we think it's a great season. I lab rate anymore. Always saw was a lot of like tanning oil in picking up, women and showers, and crying and fences. So we don't really have much together from that in a good night. One is our least favorite, but we started. And this is where the almost famous podcast shines is now from here on L Knight one just weird. It's the same. We got to meet the characters we got to meet the people pursuing Coulthardt we've got to see how Colton responds. He's going to get better. They're going to get more intriguing. Well, apparently, so and when I was on REIS's, and I don't think any of the girls work costume. I mean Emily's Emily's came in with the bandit mask. But that was you know, it wasn't a full cost. Like, I was hoping for the Alexis shark slash Delfin costume. We didn't get that. But then I had David in the chicken, which I appreciate it smells Ambit keeps you warm because it usually gets cold there so called it. Can we bring up something that is so often forgotten Joe Joe showed up on your season wearing a unicorn masses? True Unicor message. Joe she covered her beautiful cover her face. But she don't think we're. The limo. Right. Not. The last thing usually make you wear it all night. I think it's I think it's up to you the slot felt like she just bought in. Which is if you could mean for so many reasons that's weird. It's your first day. I will say doesn't should do the. Here's the thing though on my first one on one date with Colton when we were in. We're where we old Las Vegas. We're writing camels. There was a sloth on the premise and heat Colton held the sloth and play with this loss and loved the sloth. And so he talks about that. So maybe the producers had some insight to help out a little bit. Oh, I think because he he goes it's my second favorite animal behind dogs. Yeah. Maybe the next bachelor bachelorette, nobody should know Inish via caution. So when you get out of the loan or this fantasy is you can't fade all night carrots. We three that's. Plot twists. The girls college. It is this is one of the guys from the previous season. We're gonna mask him and then masks voice like what's the TV show? The proposal mix with the bachelor. It's weird because the proposal was made by the same people that make actually so we something we are stop talking about this almost shoe news. We're walking is going to be a late night for us. We're create a television show the costumes forever. Need a wake up call? You're gonna go right? I'm going to go right to work on the slot, costumes. Let's talk about the slot about MRs talking about federal prison. We talked with the virgin talk. Is there anything else from night one that really stood out to you? I'm gonna start guessing my favorite was. Oh, actually, this is going to be so easy for you. Brie brie? I'm a brief animal. Yeah. That's his look. It's really that's his type a brief fan reef. And she had an Australian accent tonight. Oh, yeah. I don't know. How far she'll go. I'm always wrong on this stuff. I remember I think it was. I think it was last year your favorite the one. You would choose got eliminated Ari season. Like, my four top my top four on this podcast all got eliminated night, one than accent like breeze that you would make her keep talking in that she should have stayed with that for three or four weeks. And then just dropped it to see. Yeah. And then see they really liked each other. Okay. So I was a fan of Bree Hannah was great. Who else it out, y'all? I liked kaylin. I think she's stunning. And I felt like their connection was the most warm natural. And then that that kiss to me felt more like it was a kiss that was supposed to happen night. One. The other two fell a little bit more forced me..

"Gonna take virginity think about what you're saying there, you'd be what you're saying is absolutely disgusting. And not okay with me. And I can't quite put into words why it's so upsetting. But I know when I watched the episode night. There was something about it that just made me feel dirty on. I think it's the fact that for people to say that it's like that's very one-sided. If a man were to say that about a woman he'd be ridiculed. Oh my God. Because you imagine how that would go over and so no he wouldn't live at down. And so I don't think it's right for just because it's a girl or female to say that that it makes it, okay? I think it's like, hey, people it takes two to Tango, you both have to have a mutual decision in this. And so if Colton chose to do that with somebody then hopefully, both have talked about that. And that's for the both of you. But for somebody to be like, I'm going to take that or I'm going to take this or I'm going to steal his virginity. It's like that's not your place. You just met the guy like feel it out a little bit. You know? That's just a silky India's. Probably the wrong wrong thing. I think. For him to and. Yeah. You were saying that you just go on there. And then you just throw it around. Like, I don't know. That's something that he's lived by for a while. You know, it was just going to say, it's an antithesis. I'm gonna take I'm going to be the one that does it. I'm gonna I'm gonna get them in there. I can't wait to get them in the fantasy suites because that's what I'm gonna do. I will say like I've made comments in the past where I've been like, oh, I'd kiss him. Or like, I would do this or something. But to say like I'm going to take this like I'm going to steal that that something that's important to someone has a different connotation. I think I think like you said the first episode I in my opinion is absolutely terrible at Ashley noses. I hate the first episode. I'd prefer that very season of every season. Not just this. He's every season. I just think it's weird knock wood. But I hope that this stops like this is just feels dirty and I'm concerned. It's not. So I would think okay, we dealt with it on Becca season, we touched on a little bit in paradise. A now, of course, we're going to make the first episode about it, and then we should be done with it. But based on the preview that we saw I'm scared that it's far from done. And it's not just going to be a fantasy sweet thing it's gonna be. It's I'm going to get a carry on throughout the entire season. I actually I was doing a press thing and. I think this must be out there in two they go around the circle. And I don't know. It's a circle, but the group date is girls sharing their first time stories with Meghan Malawi. Like, it's a joke. And it's just like why do we keep playing this theme? Here's work is personal meal..

"Gracious. I never want to say this again. But for the show aspect you kind of have to play it up. It's like a one and done type thing. And so maybe fingers crossed that could be the case for this. Or you know, he can have a conversation with a girl or two that he gets into stronger relationship with. But I don't think it needs to be like the entire storyline. I think and I've read things like people think that it's going to be Colton 's journey to find love it's going to be Clinton's opportunities story. That's not what it needs to be about. You know? No, I'm glad that he told me, and like I said we've had conversations since then. And so I just feel humble that he felt comfortable tell me that. And so if he felt comfortable in not only expressing to me, but knowing that was going to be played out on national television. Then that's his progress. Give and. You know, again, he knew it was for a TV show. So it would be played up a bit. But I don't think in needs to be as extreme as it is. And there's one thing that's really upsetting me. Then I wanna move in the virgin shaming. I don't hear from everybody. I don't like this. And I could be completely off. I feel things. Sometimes it doesn't make sense. I don't love that. There's women on the show saying I'm gonna take his virginity or when I'm going to win. He loses. Virginia me, I'm an oil him up to try to get him. Hot and bothered and all that stuff. Yeah. I feel really disgusted by that. For some reason, I feel like that's we're crossing a boundary in a line now or this is some Coghlan's held onto. And I think as we get through the season here, we're going to learn a lot more of why he's a virgin, right? And it's not because he can't have sex with the woman. I'm sure he's had his opportunities. And I'm sure he desires it. But it's been a personal choice by him. I hate that. There's verbiage and people out there on the show. And also that they're playing it with women going. I'm I'm going..

"Your watch TV that dog inserts. Look at them. Now, that's the cutest thing. So anyways, if this makes it Jared sitting out there, we have a big window to where he's at this random like kind of German shepherd looking dog that was standing right beside him inherited them and then the dog like sniff Jarrett's hand. And Joe doesn't know we're watching him. But he's just loving on this dog him playing with this dog talking. And Ashley is like I mean, I don't know I feel like it's getting hot near because actually heated up share with me baby dog like I look. He's with a baby girl. So it was very adorable. I think did I tell you this that once we got this girl dog and he's never had a girl dog before. He all the sudden goes I kind of want a baby girl now. Like all of a sudden he wants to have a girl. I. Q? All right. Hey, we've got to dig in. We've got to get gossipy. We've gotta get juicy. We've got to talk about the bachelor. That's why we're here. That's why you're listening Becca. And it's been great to catch up with the both of you. Congratulations on the next steps, you're here to talk about the bachelor now though, okay? Kulin season. Just started. I think actually tell me if I'm wrong, I'm gonna let you bleed this segment because you understand the bachelor a lot better than I live vastly. That is not true. Very good point. Let's start from the beginning. Okay. I think Colton walking the story line has been in most of the country's going to say tonight way. Overplayed, virgin thing. I thought they would pull back a lot for the episode. I really did. I thought they would say I thought the show be like we get it the store it. They just pushed it forward. So there's two things I want to talk about one is a too much is intriguing to you at all is an interesting second. Is there such thing as virgin shaming? So I think let's start with has it been overplayed is it appropriate. And is it intriguing? Okay. Well, I guess I'll start I. I just think it's so overboard, especially at this point when we've seen so many virgins on the show. There was a CD Murray who was on our show there isn't mean beca. There is Kristen. And now there's colon. And it's like, okay. Well, if you have like five from the past decade, why is that? So fascinating. Why do we have to continue to harp on? It's obviously not that rare within and maybe more want to add there could be more. We just didn't feel like it was appropriate to talk about national TV if you were comfortable in. I'm glad you were you stood up. We've had many girls call in and say, thank you. Ashley. Yeah. But yeah, you can name five. I there's more. I'm sure there is especially who left early and they never really divulged into their personal stuff. I think and I told this to Colton when he first told me that he was in the Bahamas. And then even after that, we talked at mental all and we're friends own. So we've talked about it. And when he told me that he felt he was in a safe place. We're at the point in their relationship where he wanted me to know. And to me, it wasn't a big deal. And to me that's just a part of who someone is. It's their decision, but it doesn't make up their entire person. And so it's like, yeah. Of course, he divulged that. But there's so much mortar Colton than just being the virgin. And so I kind of hope and this would be my wish that like so for my season, they played up the first night was, of course, on only the break-up with Ari, but the whole let's do the damn thing. Like I had to say that so many times on my good..

"Opportunity coming up with an outdoor company that he'll be. Oh, yeah. Me ho seen. So if anyone wants to hunt and fish and get into the doors and have some laughs. He's going to be doing that throughout the year, which is exciting. And just travelling like crazy on us, and we're all over the place living out of a suitcase still. So it'll be good to get settled. There's one thing that everybody says to me about Garrett because we've met briefly in Tahoe American century championship. And then tonight is that you know, because I've been able to be around Denver in Denver with Blake and cold in been around Jason that you're the funniest guy. They know. No, really, so. Yeah. So I I'm guessing a trip guided by you would be an absolute blast. So I hear that over and over again, I want him to break out some of the debt jokes right now. But I don't want to put him on the spot. I don't know how pro-pri it all. A good Christmastime one. But I don't know. I know I know what you're thinking. Later. To both of you. Ashley in beca. You both have made real relationships work out of this. Thanks, ben. It's like really cool Jared sitting outside watching football right now, there's a lot of love in this room. And it's really cool for me to see because I do believe in the show. I always have and watching Colton tonight as he starts his bachelor journey that does bring back memories for me for both of you. I know talking to you actually, this feels it's real you're preparing for a wedding Becca Garrett. How did you make this feel real like your this? Is it like you guys are moving in together. I know I think just ordering just the realization sinking in that. We're moving in together and then looking at furniture, and then packing and all that it's like, Tim. We're really doing this. I think it's just having a plan. And while you're on the show, and even after the show, your life is turned upside down and something that you can never expect your plan for because there's so many cool things that come from it. But now that we're finally figuring out where do we wanna live? How do we wanna fill our home and combining that as our own not just my place his place. That's kind of what's pulling it all together where I think you've been lately for the longest time, we weren't having wedding plans. But now, we're kind of talking. Okay. We'll what what month. Do we want to do what year is it coming up quicker than we originally thought? So it's it's slowly coming together. I like the number two, and I was just joking today. I was like what if we did two twenty twenty twenty two twenty March. No. Twenty two twenty two thousand eight hundred over okay. Well, that's a start. Like planning in a month. Okay. So tell somebody questions for you. Now that you said this do you have like a fall summer winter idea? Like what's your season? She likes the fall. And I think that it's important. I don't know for the thing she's dreamed ever since mainly a little kid to have like this wedding in all this and with the passing over data at falls also in the fall. And so she's picked up that date, which potentially be good. When as well. Yeah. I just love the fall. I don't. And I think we've talked about maybe doing it on vineyard. And it's in California. It's beautiful. It's the perfect weather. So that's what I'm aiming force. When he said February it was like. Especially if it's Minnesota that might be too cool. Yeah. No. Yeah. See you guys. Don't even know. What state you do it any? Yeah. Jaren I are going to have a lot more people over to our place to entertain this week. We may have been involved with the biggest watch party of all time. But it doesn't mean they're going to stop after that now that we have a crate and barrel registry. And we've kind of started at gifts in all ready from it. It's going to be so much easier. For us to entertain we love these hip large red wine glasses to serve red wine exclusively with they are so nice match with our silverware in our plate. Where we also got these amazing new mayor and dark grey.
