"That's pretty cool. Now, I'm very curious. You're back at Alec to push a policy. So you're really committed to the policy. And it's a big success. What is Alec men for your 8 years? It's been great. So I've gotten involved later on in my 8 years, but just being here, it's been wonderful idea. Now, this is the one thing that I really accomplished that was big. It was the bill that I worked the hardest on. In Colorado, it's tough. It's very blue, so there's not a lot of good that comes out. So the one little bit of good I did get out. I think monumental. Again, this is one 5th of our American economy during an inflationary time. We can actually bring prices down and bring market forces into healthcare. And so I wanted to share that with other states. Price competition makes everything better. And then you can compete on quality, obviously, male competes on quality and you've got some great hospital systems in Colorado. But price is what people care about the most. And when it's a assembly line, and I don't mean to disparage colonoscopy providers. It's an assembly line. It's not complicated stuff, at least not the first run. So I'm glad you're doing that now. I have any other states pick this up other than Texas and Colorado. There's some states that are actually already in the drafting process. So we're pretty excited. There's other states that are picking it up, and then like I said, Colorado's build did certain things. The thing that Texas build it is they really codified in their state statutes, the federal rules, which I think is a good thing to do as well. So they codified the federal rules in their state statute, and then with combined with what I did in Colorado with the enforcement mechanism, it's a really powerful model legislation. Are you a lawyer? I am not. Okay, so you have no incentive to have assisted the lawyers and having a new cause of action. I did not. In fact, it's kind of funny because the trial attorneys, they're lobbyists in Colorado. I worked against him on just about every bill, but we had a good relationship. He knew I was an honest broker. And he was pretty shocked when I handed him a bill draft and I said, hey, I think I have a bill that you might actually like. And the look on his face was in shock. There is no way that I would like a Neville Bill. And the next day he ran it by people and of course I'm sure they did extra looking at it because it was a Neville Bill and looked at it very hard and close and looked at every different angle in the next day. They said, we ran it by everyone and we love your Bill. One of the Centennial states, most accomplished trial lawyers, a guy named Greg gold, who is the son of my dad's law partner. And Greg has been making you're a very plaintiff's lawyer friendly state. And it's going to be that way for a long time. But getting them on the side of the consumer a real consumer thing is a big deal. What are you going to do after politics? So I'm actually started my own consulting firm. I've got, I call it one 9 strategies. And I'm using this to push different policies like this. What does one 9 stand for? Joshua one 9. The God kept putting in front of my life the whole time when I first started in politics and I'm Catholic. I don't know what it is. What is one 9? So be strong and courageous do not be dismayed. The lord God is with you. So what kind of business do you want to do? I'm doing a strategic consulting. And so is it taken off already or you have to wait until you're out of the legislature? It's taken off already. I can't work in Colorado specifically, but this is what's great about because of our ethics rules. So I can work nationwide, and that's what I'm doing. You can't Colorado has actually bars the door to former legislators lobbying. It does. It gets pretty tricky. So I'm just trying not to do anything and get myself hemmed up and get in trouble and Colorado. Do you still have the political bug? I do a little bit. I mean, yeah, for sure. And it's especially when you start working outside of Colorado nationwide, there's very, very fruitful ground out there. Colorado has been really tough for the last 8 years. But then you start seeing the ground outside of Colorado and there's lots of opportunities. One thing I do on my Alex show is make sure that people understand the political force majors that are moving across the United States. I think Jared polis is one of them. What's your estimate of the democratic governor of Colorado? He is very smart and tactful. So I think is Republicans we should watch out for him because he's probably the smartest politician I've ever met with. And expand on that for people who don't know. Why do you say that? I've sat down in several minority leader for four years and I've actually sat down in several different meetings with him and just the way he calculates political decisions on the fly and knows all the different forces and all the different players and every single decision he makes. The way he plays the media, the way he does his messaging. It's he's an incredibly sharp one. I've never had him on the show. That's because I don't have a producer. But if I had a producer, I'd get him on the show. I'm told he does serious interviews with opposition people. Have you seen him sit down with conservatives and talk? He has. He's actually even come to the western conservative summit. So I could have reached out to his office and see if I could get him on. Jeff hunt had him at the western conservatives. Are you connected up with my friends at CCU? Absolutely. Oh, very good. I thought there when Bill was alive, Bill Armstrong. And they're great institution and you're in Castle Rock, right? That's correct. So in terms of Colorado's future, is it just going to be blue? I think it is for the foreseeable future. I like to say that if it wasn't for our taxpayer Bill of rights, we probably would just be officially east California at this point. Yeah, well, I call the university of Colorado, the university of Colorado, the University of California at Boulder. In terms of Lauren boebert, barely winning. What was that? I think she had a really tough slog because there wasn't a lot of excitement at the top of the ticket. And everyone just assumed she was going to win. And so that kind of actually hurt her in a big way. That she didn't have that excitement. People weren't really turning out for her. There was a lot of focus on the state Senate, not her race. You see, I've been on the air for 23 years in Colorado. Bill Owen is a friend Wayne allard was a friend. Bill Armstrong, what happened? Well, it's a mixture of Republicans being complicit and then the Democrats with Jared pullis leading the charge really did the blueprint in Colorado..
Sen. Chris Murphy: Cut Funding for Police Not Enforcing Gun Laws
"Democrat Chris Murphy. This Connecticut Democrat, once these guys bang this drum all the time, here he was over the weekend after these terrible shootings in Colorado Springs, and if the Walmart, here was Chris Murphy, poster boy. For anti Second Amendment, anti constitutional rights for law abiding American citizens. You don't think they're coming for your guns? Think again. The majority of counties in this country have declared that they are not going to enforce state and federal gun laws. They have decided that they are going to essentially refuse to implement laws that are on the books. That is a growing problem in this country. And I think we're going to have to have a conversation about that in the United States Senate. Do we want to continue to supply funding to law enforcement in counties that refuse to implement state and federal gun laws? Red flag laws are wildly popular, right? You just temporarily take guns away from people. So you want to withhold money for law enforcement? I think we have to have a conversation about whether we can continue to fund law enforcement in states where they are refusing to implement these gun laws. Nuts. These people are back crap crazy.

"Figure out what the best agendas are. From Colorado representative Patrick Neville joins me, representative congratulations you won and a bad hearing Colorado because the Democrats got a good governor there in Jared pullis. So you stood up against the storm. What are the numbers in the Colorado state House this year? In the Colorado state House, it's gotten pretty bad. It's 46 to 19. I'm actually at the end of my term on it, but the person who replaced me at my district did win. Oh, so you're not going back in? No. You're free at last. I am free at last. What are you going to do? So I'm here in Alec because this is the exchange of ideas. And I got one really monumental piece of legislation passed last year. And that's on healthcare price transparency transforming one 5th of the American economy and actually getting price competition and market forces into the healthcare system. And I got that past 99 to one last year, so I'm here to share that information with other states and encourage them to pass the same legislation. Is Alec gonna do a model piece of legislation based on the Colorado Bill? They already have. They actually combine the Colorado Bill, the best parts of the Colorado Bill and the best parts of the Texas Bill, and that is their model legislation. What did your Bill do that the average consumer would love? 'cause I get medical bills. I don't look at them. You can't read them. You have no idea what they mean. Just send me a bill that says a number that I owe you, and now I'll pay it. But they said, this is not a bill. If in fact, if we stop sending out everything in the United States, it said, this is not a bill. We would say millions of dollars. Right, so what I did is I leveraged the federal rules that Trump started, and then Biden actually signed, and so those rules say that you have to post everything in machine readable format, you're casting the negotiated prices, your insurance negotiated prices, everything, and machine readable format. The problem was the federal government slow to enforce. And so rather than inviting more Biden bureaucrats or even creating a state agency. What I did at the state levels, I took a look at it and said, what state services can we deny hospitals that aren't compliant? And the two biggest ones are the state section collection agencies, and the court system, and so my Bill says that if they were not compliant on the date of your service, then you as a patient can actually exercise that right, and if they try to send you to collections or send you in the court system, you get the full amount of your Bill back, plus your attorney fee. So give the patients the enforcement mechanism, the consumer and empower the consumer, and then with that information, there's now people in Colorado developing applications that you can actually go online and shop prices, you can see that something like a colonoscopy can range in prices from $315 to $9800. In a 20 square mile radius. And so consumers. That's nuts. It is nuts. And that's the problem with our healthcare system. We've never had any price competition that actually forces the providers to compete and provide better services, better quality services and actually compete for price. So you put the lawyer, the trial bar on the side of the patient. I did. One time. Powerful thing. It is. And I think what we're going to see in Colorado, the bill went into effect August 10th. And I think we're going to probably see four or 5 lawsuits, and then all the hospitals are going to come into compliance. And now the market, new markets are coming in with these applications that you can sign up for, that empowers those consumers to access. So what does machine readable mean? Machine readable means that it's got to be something that can actually become in a certain format that can be read. So they can't hide it behind all these different backdoors. It's got to be easily accessible. That's transparency just means the average American can open up a bill and understand or a price schedule and understand what it means. That's correct. And then with these applications, they make it even easier because they can pull that information in. You can sign up for that. So again, the free market, the market actually solving the issue, not the government. So they call it the nebula. They actually so I'm more of like a Rand Paul type. And then I actually sponsored the bill with the majority leader who's kind of a Bernie Sanders type. So she supported it for consumer protection reasons, things of that nature. But in 8 years, we had never agreed on a single policy. This was the one we actually agreed on. And so her name was representative esgar. And it was a slip for the chair in the committee. He said, NASCAR, so it came..
Community Farm-Farm intro and wrap
"A community farm in Colorado is keeping the environment in mind by replacing traditional farming equipment. Brett beardmore's owl tree farm has ditched the tractors for chickens. There's a lot of the baby boomer farmers are disappearing. Nobody's wanting to take on the next generation. And so there's kind of this weird opportunity that we see to help guide the guide farming methods into a better direction. The ten acre property isn't much as far as farms go, but it's enough to do things their way. Co owner Forrest Carlson says the chickens on site turn the soil, which releases less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than traditional tilling wood. All that knowledge, all that equipment, all that exists, it's just a matter of, you know, helping people realize that there's a different way to do it. There's a mobile chicken coop, which makes it easier to move the animals from patch to patch wherever they're needed. I'm Ed Donahue

"French president Emmanuel Macron was greeted by President Biden at The White House. France is our oldest ally. Our unwavering partner in freedom's cause. France and the U.S. are friends with differences. Speaking through an interpreter, Macron says there is a lot of uncertainty. All democracies on both sides of the ocean are being shaken by the same doubts as to our ability to be sufficiently strong and effective when it comes to the challenges we share. Those are the climate to politics and technology. This visit will conclude with the first state dinner of the Biden administration. Police in Spain say they detonated a suspicious envelope discovered at the U.S. embassy in Madrid. Yesterday, a similar package sent to the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid, ignited upon opening an injured and employee. Russia's foreign minister is accusing the U.S. and NATO of direct involvement in the war in Ukraine. In a call with reporters Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said. You shouldn't say that the U.S. and NATO aren't taking part in this war. The directly participating in it and not just by providing weapons, but also by training personnel, Lavrov also said the Russian tactic of crushing Ukraine's energy infrastructure was to weaken Ukraine's military potential and disrupt western shipments of weapons. The worst has claimed Russia's motive for targeting key civilian infrastructure was to reduce morale and force Ukraine into peace talks on Moscow's conditions Lavrov insisted that Moscow remains open for talks on ending the conflict. We never ask for talks, but always said that we are ready to listen to those who are interested in a negotiated settlement. I'm Karen Chammas. Emboldened Biden, Dems push ban on so-called assault weapons
"President Biden raged the idea of trying to pass an assault weapons ban after two mass shootings in a week, but he'll likely face an uphill battle in Congress. It was Thanksgiving Day after 6 people were gunned down in a Walmart and 5 killed at a Colorado Springs gay bar. I'm gonna try to get rid of a subway. On NBC's meet the press, Colorado governor Jared polis, says something needs to be done. It's about mental health. Of course, it's about gun policy. Of course, it's about anti LGBTQ rhetoric. But the Democrat says it can be done without invoking a ban. Where you need an additional license or background check for some of the most high powered weapons. Also on the show, Kentucky Republican congressman James comer. Cities that have the most strict gun laws like Washington, D.C., Chicago, these are the cities with the highest rate of crimes comer says he'd support legislation aimed at improving mental health access and boosting law enforcement. After a year, omicron still driving COVID surges and worries
"COVID-19 cases are on the rise again in the U.S. and health officials are worrying about new waves of infections after Thanksgiving gatherings. It's been a year now since the omicron variant of COVID-19 was identified and again its jeopardizing the nation's health. The Mayo Clinic says cases are increasing already in Florida, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. And that's before holiday gatherings. The daily average for new infections this week is already over 39,000 and some 340 patients are still dying every day. A hospital in Phoenix is again creating COVID wards. One factor being mentioned, people are no longer masking up, and interest in booster shots has faded. I'm Jackie Quinn
Biden brings Thanksgiving pies to Nantucket first responders
"President Biden vacationing in Nantucket for the Thanksgiving holiday, spoke out against a recent spate of mass shootings in the country and calls on Congress to do more to limit assault weapons. 6 people killed in a southeast Virginia Walmart 5 dead in Colorado Springs in just a week and President Biden says more must be done to prevent these killings from taking place. The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It's just sick. He tells reporters he'll take it to Congress, even though the sessions almost over and Democrats soon lose control of the House. Meanwhile, the president reached out to the owners of club Q in Colorado Springs, offering support and condolences, while a worker at the Virginia Walmart, whose life was spared, says she doesn't think the victims were randomly chosen. He was going hunting. He was looking, he was picking people out. Jesse will chesky on the job just 5 days, says the gunman who apparently killed himself aimed at her and then told her to run. NYPD: No known threats to Macy's parade, but tight security
"Police in New York say their planning tight security around the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in the wake of mass shootings in Colorado and Virginia. Police say there is no known credible threat to the event, but they say they'll deploy additional resources to ensure the festivities across the city are safe for all. The parade comes just two days after a manager at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, shot to death 6 people, and then himself, and four days after 5 people were shot to death at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Macy's is promising that the parade will be bigger and better this year than ever before, and the event is starting at 8 45 a.m. this year instead of 9 to accommodate all the balloons, floats, marching bands, and other participants. Colorado Club Q Shooting Suspect Is 'Non-Binary'
"Let's get on to some news. Colorado mass shooting identifies as a non binary. Now, I don't know if this person, and if you're not familiar with the Colorado shooting in Colorado Springs, a nut job went into a gay nightclub, called club Q or something like that, and decided to shoot up people, end up killing about 5 people and injuring several other people, but now that he's being presented in front of a judge, he's now identified as non binary. I'm going to try to read again because I think these articles explain a little better than I do. I'm not going to say the person's name because he's a scumbag and I'm not going to say scumbags names. The suspect in a daily Colorado LGBTQ nightclub massacre is non binary and uses they them pronouns. Their lawyer said in a new court filing Tuesday. This is so stupid. But blank blank is non binary, the footnote states, the Denver post reported. They use they them pronouns and for the purpose of all forms filed on all formal filings, we will be addressed as mix blank. So I'm not going to say his name, but it's mixed blank. So it's MX, so not mister with MR or miss with MS or MRS. It's MX. And I don't know if this is just adding insult to injury by a person being so fanatically against homosexuality and the trans stuff that he would go so far is to kill people, knowing that one day he will be in court and then in court adding insult to injury by just adding on to the foolery by saying that he identified as a non binary.
Colorado gay club shooting suspect held without bail
"The suspect in the Colorado Springs nightclub shooting is denied bail. In El Paso county court judge has ordered the alleged shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich held without bail. The next hearing in the case is December 6th. Aldrich is facing possible murder and hate crime charges following the fatal shooting of 5 people at a gay nightclub. The suspect was beaten into submission by patrons during the Saturday night shooting at club Q and was released from the hospital Tuesday. During a video appearance from jail Wednesday, Aldrich was slumped over in a chair with injuries visible to the face and head. I'm Mike Hempen
Libs Blame Lauren Boebert, Tucker Carlson for Colorado Gunman
"Some of the things they were saying were just simply horrendous, as a matter of fact, I want you to listen to cut 14. This is someone saying that Lauren boebert that congresswoman and Tucker Carlson, they need to be flogged. They need to be punished for defending these children against these radical sex and gender revolutionaries. Cut 14. You need to see accountability and consequences. So first, a real quick hate crime charge here on top of the homicide charges, I applaud that. That tells me prosecutors and police, they found quickly what they needed. That means they know this was a bias crime. This is likely, and since we've heard reports that the subject isn't cooperating with police, that means they likely found clear and convincing evidence on his devices. If he's a consumer of the people we just rattled off from Lauren boebert to Tucker Carlson, let's get it out. Let's get it out at trial. Let's expose it for what it is. Name it and shame it. He's a consumer of these people and those people should face civil consequences from the victims. The other thing they want to deny is not only the safe harbor, but the way we resolve this. And by that, I mean, you asked earlier, how do we put a stop to hate? Well, one of the things you would normally do is teach young children in school, here's what race is about. These other people over here who may seem different to you. They have a different orientation. But you know what? Increasingly, states are saying, no, no, no. You can't talk about race or say the word gay or teach anything in schools. So they deny the resolution mechanism that we would normally use. So this guy is saying that the government clearly was a fan of Lauren boebert and watch Tucker Carlson all the time. Well, there's no proof of that. And I can not sit here behind this big, beautiful, huge conservative microphone, and tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that the guys ever watched Fox News channel. I can't tell you that because nobody knows that.
Malcolm Nance Is Right—Far Right Republicans Want to Kill Americans
"I hate that every time we have to talk to you, there's something that's proves you're right that is not a good thing. Someone just tweeted as Malcolm nan says they want to kill Americans. You tweeted, you know, after the Colorado Springs stochastic terrorism, Kerry lakes doing it in Arizona. Kerry lakes lies force Maricopa County election official into hiding with a torrent of death threats. I mean, Malcolm, it just feels like one long unbroken story. January 6th, the Paul Pelosi attack, you know, and they just don't stop. You know, they don't stop in terms of targeting people, Mike Pompeo just called the head of the teachers union, the most dangerous person in the world. Wow. Really? Yeah. I mean, I saw that yesterday I was absolutely stunned. Well, yes. And they want to kill Americans, and they are now encouraging other Americans to target other Americans. And the worst part is we are just getting started. Things are going to get much much worse. And I'm going to give that to you straight, no chaser. This is a pure, very obvious intelligence analysis that now because they won the House of Representatives. They feel not just empowered, but emboldened to go after their enemies. The good, you know, to a gay nightclub and shoot all the patrons. You know, to the point where, you know, families were there. They just, they have been told over and over again that liberals, liberalism, you know, education with the case of Randy Andy Randy weingarten. That's insane. Yeah. These people have decided they are going to embrace the potential of violence or actual violence and calling out their enemies so that this, you know, the crazy criminal crusaders will all come out and start killing them.
Defense: Colorado gay club shooting suspect is nonbinary
"The person suspected of killing 5 people in a Colorado Springs Colorado gay bar is scheduled to make a first court appearance today. 22 year old Anderson Lee Aldrich is scheduled to appear in court by video from jail. According to court filings by Aldrich's defense team Aldrich is non binary and uses the pronouns they and them Aldrich was beaten into submission by patrons during Saturday night shooting at club Q, investigators say the motive behind the shooting is still unclear, but Aldrich faces possible murder and hate crimes charges. The Left Claims the Right Is Responsible for the Colorado Shooting
"The comment here on the article about how Republicans are ultimately responsible for the horror in Colorado Springs at a gay club where this lunatic and if you threaten to blow up your mother a year before, I am proud of Tucker Carlson for naming the DA. Let's get the guy's name. I don't remember the name. Naming the DA involved here. A guy, the police are called, he's threatening to murder his mother and they throw away the whole thing so how do you as a clean record and can then buy a gun? Okay, just for the record. So the sky writes here that the great irony here is that grooming is what the religious right does. Children are indoctrinated into religious beliefs from an early age by adults who wish to control the very thoughts. This is the view of religious people that they have. But it isn't an intellectual dishonesty here. I'm just curious if this guy has, if Joe and San Francisco has a child, he does not, what is the word that he uses? Indoctrinate. He doesn't indoctrinate his children into leftist beliefs? As I said, if his child came home and said, hey dad, if he has a child, hey, dad, I really think that Donald Trump has better answers for the country. Make America great again, dad. And he'll go, you know, I am really proud of you, darling. You grew up to be a kid within independent thinking. I in no way want to indoctrinate you with left wing thought.
MSNBC Blames Conservatives for Colorado Nightclub Shooting
"The folks over at MSD and see they have finally figured out who to blame for this shooting at the gay club in Colorado Springs, cut 6, please. The theory is if you're fearful enough, you're not going to push back. But what we need to see happening is the exact opposite. We need to see accountability and consequences. So first, a real quick hate crime charge here on top of the homicide charges, I applaud that. That tells me, prosecutors and police, they found quickly what they needed. He's a consumer of these people and those people should pay civil consequences from the victims. Yeah, that's a heavy dose of grade 8 crap. Ladies and gentlemen, what we do know about this attacker is that he is 22 years old. He's a Mormon. I don't know if he likes to get Marie. I don't know. Just because you're Mormon, doesn't make come on, grace, just because you're a Mormon doesn't mean you like Donnie and Murray. Or the handsome. So the guy was a Mormon. So it's not like he's some sort of Southern Baptist. Or I don't know, Presbyterian. Why am I not picking on your denomination grace? Just step away from the microphone. You're just making up for the weeks loss. I am, I am here. But the whole point of this is that there's no proof that this guy we still even know if it is in fact a hate crime. But here's what here's what we do know that they have a George Soros district attorney in Colorado Springs, and this Yahoo let this guy walk when he threatened to blow up his mother.
Carl Jackson: We Have a Manhood Crisis in America
"This manhood crisis. We see some of the manhood crisis that I think is transpiring with this defense of not the defense of marriage act, this respect for marriage act. I think there's a crisis there. I think we see a crisis when we see more and more men placate to the radical left when it comes to abortion. I think we see a crisis in our woke military as it's as it's turning into a center of diversity, equity and inclusion. Now, listen, I know a lot of recruits go there. They go to fight and win and to defend us, but the leadership is a real problem and we've got to do something about it. I also realize that there's real manhood and real heroes that still exist and they do pop up from time to time. I mean that happens to be the case in the shooting yesterday that occurred or the other day that occurred at club Q, which is the gay nightclub in Colorado Springs and I want to talk about the person ironically that happened to be the guy that ended up saving lives. Others jumped on to the shooter eventually, but there was a guy that happened to be in a club and guys, I'm a Christian. I believe that God works in mysterious ways. It's just unbelievable. It's unbelievable.
Club Q Shooting Is About Guns Not Red Flag Laws Says Glenn Kirschner
"Not the happiest subject to start with, obviously, because clearly all the talk is about this latest tragedy. Predictable tragedy in Colorado, right? Talk to us a minute just about the red flag laws failing to, this guy apparently legally purchased this AR-15. Just talk to us about your initial thoughts on what's happened. Yeah, so red flag laws allow law enforcement authorities to temporarily seize weapons from somebody if they believe that person poses a demonstrable danger to others. What we are learning in the aftermath of the club Q shooting is that this gunman apparently had made bomb threats. He was charged with kidnapping and menacing. Now, what we have, what I have seen reported as those charges were dropped and apparently the record was sealed. So whether this was truly a failure of red flag laws or not, you know, we'll have to wait to hear more about that. But, you know, this is all about guns. It's not about mental health. It's not about frankly red flag laws. It's all about guns and the Republicans, as we know, will continue to worship at the altar of virtually unrestricted access to weapons of war, assault rifles, and they'll continue to let the blood money flow into their campaign coffers until we rise up and say we're not going to take it anymore.
'It's the reflex': Veteran helped disarm gunman at gay club
"A club goer at the gay bar in Colorado Springs where 5 people were killed Saturday night credits his army training for helping subdue the shooter but wish as he could have stopped the massacre sooner rich fiero did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan It was at club Q with his wife daughter and Friends He was called to action I just knew I got into mode And I needed to save my family And that family was at that time everybody in that room Police say the shooter had several guns including an AR-15 style assault rifle Fiero grabbed the shooter's body armor then pistol and beat him with it And I'm on top of him I'm a big dude man This guy was bigger And I just kept wailing on him A hero in the eyes of many but not his own There are 5 people that I could not help That includes his daughter's boyfriend Raymond green Vance fiero credits another club goer with helping subdue the suspect 22 year old Anderson Lee Aldrich who remains in the hospital I'm Julie Walker
Rage and sadness as Colorado club shooting victims honored
"The community in Colorado Springs Colorado gathered Monday night for a vigil to remember those killed when a gunman opened fire on a nightlife venue that had been a sanctuary for the LGBTQ community Resident and club Q patron Jeremiah Harris says he woke up Sunday morning to phone calls from family members asking if he was okay Harris says normally he would have been at club Q on a Saturday night A club that I decided not to go to a night before because I was tired Colorado Springs resident and patron Kyle lore says the news is crushing To wake up and hear the news of the absolute carnage and devastation was I don't really know if I have words for that Scary heartbreaking devastating I'm Donna warder
Megan Basham and Eric Unpack David French's Thoughts on Gay Marriage
"Thing to personally believe that marriage is between a man and a woman for life. That's the biblical view, right? Okay. So it's another thing to say that we could deal with that being messed with. In other words, if we have same sex marriage in our laws, it's not going to hurt anybody. There are people who believe that. But then there's the issue of religious liberty and the reason so many people oppose same sex marriage. It wasn't just because they believe that there can be no such thing. But that they said, once this becomes law, they're going to come after those who disagree. And that's exactly what we're seeing now. So when somebody like David French says that his views have evolved, in other words, he seems to be saying that, yes, legally, I side with those who would demonize this being established in our laws. I'm sorry that I, yes, I side with those who would demonize those who disagree with this, who will not in their Christian school or whatever institution in their businesses that they will not go along with this. So it seems to me that somebody like they've French would side against Jack Phillips of the masterpiece cake shop in Colorado, that he would say, you need to stuff it. I mean, it sounds like that from where we're from what you're saying. I mean, he's saying he does it. He's saying that he believes the legal protections are there for a Jack Phillips, except that we have seen Jack Phillips be harassed for years and years on end now. So I would argue, I don't know how robust those legal protections are. And at the same time, he doesn't seem to recognize that, look, this touches nonprofits in a very specific way. You could look at Christian adoption agencies, for instance, if they believe that a man and a woman is the best environment for raising children and want to limit their services to adopting children out to heterosexual couples, they should have that right. And this throws that into jeopardy. And

It should be you know again. He had a lot of help from the zero point. Zero to have a vision. And then you know plan. The work work the plan. And when i came on you know it just just like it would have for you. It was like it very much fit into sort of like the hunting that i had been a part of growing up and the hunting that i was doing all my own at the time and i had just fallen in the right crew people when i was guiding in colorado that butchered their own. And so i've started doing that. And i wasn't taking my meat to the processor. I was just like more involved in that process and it wasn't like nobody was saying like. Oh we should like bring this to the forefront because its cool or we need to make a change. It was just sort of like. That's what it was for us. And so we -cluded it and it turns out like you're saying oh man the majority of people are into this and doing it themselves and and they want to see more of it and so yeah i mean it was definitely a kind of fortuitous right. Those two things align that what we chose to show and talk about was There was a demand for the probably. Nobody really knew. Was there it was it. Was you know underlying but as soon as we started doing it people like oh yeah. Give me more of that. Yeah i remember talking to randy at shot show one time and randy's said that they told him that his show was an absolutely bad idea that it would never be successful and that dude's probably got twenty seasons of show now. Because it's only just like what if you're a woman you're already like adamantine dominated table and you know they say five percent or something people in the tournament are women like they should never have to deal with like gross shit like that when they're just trying to play poker and you know just trying to grow the game push. When their jobs moved the agency was talking about how there were forty one positions in grand junction. But keep in mind that a position is not an actual human being in a job. Well the agency finally came clean to chase woodruff with colorado newsline. He'd been out in grand junction. He didn't see anyone going in or out of blm headquarters and so a blm. There was the judge refusing to sequester the jury. Following unrest in minneapolis. This according to the associated press This is already starting to take some twists and turns. Yeah so what happened is yesterday. There was a shooting brooklyn center. I believe that's the name of it. That's a it's basically just very close to minneapolis. Part of minneapolis. Essentially and that there was a twenty year old who was shot after an apparent traffic stop. And so there's there had been unrest in that section of minneapolis overnight and Apparently one of the jurors actually lives in that community so there had been a move to sort of sequester. The jury early. The jury was going to be sequestered. Anyways wants jury deliberations started. That had been the plan for a while. And i haven't been paying attention. I don't know if that's i don't know if the judges ruled on that or not in terms of sequestration unusual these days i think people sometimes people have this old school mindset. That jury gets requested all the time. It doesn't happen here in. Colorado almost never happens Judges are low to moved jury trials away from the community in which they happened. That doesn't happen a whole lot either in colorado profile cases and also. They don't want this to be tremendously disruptive on the jurors lives and so there's not this sort of big push there had been decades ago to sort of sequestered juries and hotel rooms for the period of the trial. That's been the case here And it'll be interesting to see what the judge decides in terms of that request by. I believe the prosecution to Sequester the jury starting now so chris. You've been following along with this. What have been some key takeaways throughout this trial because we we've talked a little bit about it the ramifications and the the effects of this trial in this case are going to be long lasting and widespread. Yeah i i said this late last week and i believe wholeheartedly..
