"In the event of a national emergency. The president can declare martial law allowing the military and various government agencies like FEMA to assume control of the country. Now, let's take a look at exactly how that process might play out as we discussed last week in nineteen eighty-two. Reagan appointed Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North to the EMP be this was an organization composed of representatives from FEMA and the national Security Council north worked with FEMA to create Rex eighty four short for readiness exercise nineteen Eighty-four a contingency plan to suspend the constitution declare martial law and place military commanders in charge of state and local governments in the case of national emergency. Rex eighty four was actually patterned on a report written by FEMA chief Louis GIO Freda. According to the Miami Herald. When Louis Giuffrida was at the US army war college in nineteen seventy. He wrote a thesis outlining a military plan for the forcible relocation of up to twenty one million black citizens to detention camps. If there was a black militant uprising in the United States, racial tensions were at an all time high after the civil rights laws were passed in the late nineteen sixties and increased police presence in predominantly black neighborhoods had escalated into nationwide riots Jio, freed his report outlines a possible scenario that could occur. If there was an outbreak of racial violence, quote as soon as the violence starts. There are similar though, not necessarily preplanned outbreaks of violence in other cities across the entire nation faced by mounting, death and destruction as well as increasing demands that he do. So the president reluctantly declares a state of. Emergency and puts the entire country on a war basis and quote by the mid nineteen eighties. When Rex eighty four was created the focus was on a different racial group. There was worried that communist influence from Central American countries, especially Nicaragua would spread to other countries and the United States was prepared to go to war to stop that from happening during this time, there were thousands of Central American refugees living in the US. There was a concern that if the United States invaded Nicaragua. There might be a civilian uprising from these refugees and sympathetic citizens. Part of Rex eighty four's plan call for the detention of aliens as well as American citizens. So when north and the EM BP created Rex eighty four the national emergency. They were worried about was civilian opposition to their military agenda. That's right to that. That end FEMA absorbed to pre existing sub into Rex eighty four called operation garden plot a program to control the population during a national emergency and operation cable splicer, which would establish a way for the federal government to take over state and local governments operation garden. Plot was originally created by the US army in nineteen sixty eight to deploy soldiers during riots garden plot was actually used on at least a few occasions after Martin Luther King's nineteen sixty eight assassination in response to the US invasion of Cambodia in nineteen seventy and during the Republican and democratic conventions in nineteen seventy two. There is speculation that garden plot was also evoked after the nineteen Ninety-two Rodney King riots and the nineteen ninety nine Seattle WTO riots. According to unredacted dot com quote. "The blaze radio network is the weekend with joepags led to have you here. Really glad to get with Colonel Oliver North. Yes that Colonel Oliver North he's now the president of the NRA. There was so much that I wanted to get to Colonel. I appreciate you taking the time. As always I'm glad to be with you brother, even spending snow here in the mountains of Virginia. And I know you don't have any down there in my hometown San Antonio. But let me just tell you in most of America where it snows snowplows in Virginia, we have a democrat regime running the state now we have spring. Come on. You gotta wait till spring. I hear you listen. It was twenty three degrees yesterday morning in your hometown of San Antonio. But we did not get snow and now it's about sixty sixty five so we bounced back just fine. Needed buddy. No, absolutely. I appreciate you taking the time. Of course, your show American heroes. That's that's incredible stuff. You've got you've got a new episode coming out. Your your show is on TV. I hope that everybody goes and checks you out there. You've been the president of the NRA for a bit now. Elected in may actually took office on September eight I wanted to do a good audit and make sure that everything's run the up and up and they are. And so I was sworn in as president on the eighth of September. Just in time to get on airplanes and fly all over America. Tried to campaign for good people who support the second amendment while we're glad to have used the president. You, of course know that I'm an NRA member a good friends with Ted Nugent on the board of directors, and we just want what's right with the founders put in the constitution that will let me ask you this. Colonel right up front. Why is it that people like CNN, and Jim Acosta think the first amendment is is completely unoriginal and unafraid injury infringe, but the second amendment you can do anything you want to what why is that? Well, in fact, they're using the first amendment very often against the second amendment, and what look at I thankfully, blessedly missed the first couple of days of that fiasco because I was running around the country. Renegade members for the right? And and what I saw there was something even in. I served when Ronald Reagan was president for five and a half years. I watched jerks like Sam Donaldson get up and pull donkey acts regularly and the president handled it very well. By the way, pardon the president handled. It very well, by the way. Yes. And and you know, what this president I can understand why he did what he did. Because Donaldson even his worst days would never have done. What was done to that young intern? Right. I I got kids her age. I got grandkids her age. And I watched that kid, you know, tied to reach up. She was told to go get the mic from she tried to. And he just shoved her off. I mean, that's I when she Nope back down. I was watching him. I was watching her because I could see one of my granddaughters in that same. She didn't know what to do and she handled herself. Very well. But she didn't know what to do, right? What what incredible rudeness quit use the thing that amazes me? They want to take the president to court demanding that this guy get his credentials back. That was something that everybody could get any time. They wanted to put their paperwork in nuts. It's the same thing. When we see the president is now being dragged into court over whether we can name an acting just a attorney generals the United States. I mean, we've gone crazy it trying to use the judicial system for everything except what it's being is supposed to be used for which is to basically, punish criminals. Give Justice to the people. And now, they're using the courts of the United States to force the president to give somebody credentials. When I could could a guy from Pravda have done that back. When Ronald Reagan was president. No, it's a great question. And by the way, three hundred twenty million Americans. Do we all have the right to be in the White House? Press corps. The answer is no, it's a privilege. Of course, the press can cover him and they're allowed to and CNN has fifty hard passes. There isn't one in the constitution that says Jim Acosta needs to have one. But that's that's exactly where they are though. But when it comes to guns, nobody should have any guns with any more than two round magazines, and we should all just have shotguns, nothing more. Well, in fact, you're not even allowed to have an automatic shotgun. I mean, I've got my Bonelli black eagle nice birds with and I need all three shots. That'd be able to. But they wanna take that from me because it's a long gun that said quote semiautomatic and must therefore be soccer. Actually carried a shotgun. When I was a young Lieutenant in Vietnam up on the demilitarized zone where we didn't see any the only Vietnamese we ever saw were wearing North Vietnamese army, uniforms Kong up there, and I use that model twelve Winchester, which by the way, the ten round capacity with a bayonet lug on the end of the barrel. Very effectively just the way the good Lord meant for that shot gonna be used at saved my life. Look at that kind of thing and say because at ten rounds that'd be banned by somebody in New York. California would be banned. Yes. Washington state, which is another. I mean, this ridiculous resolutions they put in this initiative as they call it. It's an essentially say among other things that if you're an eighteen year old who got one volunteer service when you came back home to the United States on leave from fighting for your country within a real assault weapon, by the way. Yeah. You can't by the way pick up and use a semiautomatic rifle because that's an assault weapon. I mean, we're sending them off to war. He's own up to vote for president anybody else wanting merica, and it comes back home, and he can't use package not allowed to buy not allowed to possess. Not allowed to use. A semiautomatic rifle. I'm that's plain nuts is from NRA TV. It's Colonel Oliver North. He's the president of the NRA. Make sure you see his his incredible series. Oliver North American heroes. We'll we'll get into that in a second. But I've got to go to this. The left has been very successful. You know that Eric Holder back in one thousand nine hundred five said this line, we must brainwash people to think guns are bad. And that's really worked a generation later. There are people that call my show every single day Colonel who want to argue with me because we don't have to have machine guns. None at anybody has machine guns. We shouldn't have these automatic AR fifteen. Nobody has an automatic AR fifteen or we shouldn't have these guns that could take one hundred rounds. Well, that's very rare to begin with. But they don't understand at all what they understand is gone is bad in the end that if I say gun is bad enough. It must be true. We'll look you gotta remember. They're calling themselves gun control advocates you right? They're not that what they really are the leaders of the disarm America movement. First time in my lifetime. And I'm seventy five Joe, okay? That I've ever heard of a Justice of the supreme court suggesting we should repeal the second amendment. John Stevens did that a few months ago? We now have we we now have people elected to office in this most recent election who advocate, let's introduce the resolutions to repeal the second amendment. That's never happened in my lifetime before look at the NRA has been pilloried. The NRA has been defamed the NRA has been pushed to the margins as the disarm America movement gathers adherence we've seen somewhere between three hundred and fifty million dollars. But Bloomberg and his buddies up in New York. He's rich oligarchs throwing money into this contest. Why? Because the second amendment is written the only purpose wasn't. So I could go hunting. I love to hunt. So you could have three round shotgun refi round shotgun or you could buy deer rifle. It was there to prevent tyranny. Journeys the oppression of the American people, and that's the purpose of it being there. And that's why they. To disable it at the very least and repeal it at the very best. That's their goal. Because once the second amendment is gone. The other ten the other nine and the Bill of rights extend Bill of rights the other night. I couldn't matter. I mean, this just talked about with with Ted an awful lot with other NRA members with Dana lash. I mean, obviously, the second amendment was put in there to make sure the other amendments were protected and make sure that we can never again see in this country would King George the third was doing people in this generation Colonel as Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North he's the president of the NRA people in these in this day and age in this generation do not know that they think it's about deer hunting. They think it's about about target practice. They think it's about skeet shooting. Well, and of course, their advocacy is if we banned them all if we got rid of the second amendment and simply took all the other guns off to the police would be there to protect us. And he wouldn't have these mass shootings. We'll get let me just share this with your Joe. Fifty years ago. I raised my right hand and took an oath to support defend the constitution United States against all enemies. Foreign investor user facing the same. That owes ends with the words so help me God people say why did you take on becoming the president the NRA what thankless task? No, I have skin in the game. My wife, and I have seventeen grandkids. I want them to grow up in a country where the Bill of rights is intact and still has. Meaning like it has for you and me generate today is five and a half million members. Here's what we stand for. We stand for the second amendment. We know that our individual rights come with personal responsibilities. We're proud of our country. We believe the US constitution is the law of the land. We're committed to civic duty and we're willing to protect our freedoms. And we're unashamed stand with our hands over our hearts red flag and national anthem. That's who the NRA is. So I'm going around the country asking people to join us and all they've been reading his dribble. They've been seeing it on television about what the what the quote disarm America movement is really all about. And unfortunately, there's not a lot of Americans use this pointing out Joe who really understand why we have the Bill of rights, and why the second amendment is there. It is Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North Colonel north that we always appreciate the time. Oliver North American heroes telling stories of great Americans from all walks of life. There's somebody who's verified and much. Sure. Why? But. Brenda somebody. I've never heard of the woman before but not that I have to have heard of it. Anybody who's verified, but hurt her tweet was. The only people I've ever heard of having AR fifteen or mass murderers. The only people I've ever heard of that have air fifteen's are mass murderers. This is just something that somebody is posted Twitter does nothing about it. There you go. Having to have a good day. And it's it's it's a ridiculous thing to say. I mean got to near fifty. I'm killing anybody. Now. Her name is Nina. Nina, somebody say her last name 'cause doesn't matter almost every person. I've ever heard of what a with an air fifteen has been a mass murderer based on Twitter sample. The rest of them are scarily paranoid. Get on the right side of history and then calls out some specific people. And like what I've got an AR. Fifteen murdered anybody. There are about fifteen million air fifteen in the country. The vast majority have never even been contemplated to been used for a mass murderer. But this is the sort of indoctrination, we have I talk a lot with with the Colonel with Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North about just that. How do you combat the indoctrination Eric Holder nineteen ninety-five talking about how we have to make we have to brainwash Americans. Do think guns are bad. Here's a guy in air colder, who's been protected by guns his entire governmental career, which has been a long time. The people who want guns gone are the ones that are protected by guns. They're safe their secure their families are saving secure. So why should watch it? They have to worry about it. That's not gonna go away we ban guns. They will ban guns from the good guys. Protect them. But it always begs the question, do you think that people really believe? What they say about guns. I can this person. This Nina.

"Network. It is the weekend with joepags. Glad to have you here. Really glad to get with Colonel Oliver North. Yes that Colonel Oliver North east. Now, the president of the NRA. There was so much that I wanted to get to within Colonel. I appreciate you taking the time. As always I'm glad to be with your brother even spending snow here in the mountains of Virginia. And I know you don't have any down there my hometown ten Antonio. But let me just tell you in most of America where it snows snowplows in Virginia, we have a democrat regime during the Ronin state. Now, we have spring come on. You gotta wait till spring. I hear you. Now. Listen, it was twenty three degrees yesterday morning in your hometown of San Antonio. But we did not get snow and now it's about sixty sixty five. So we bounce back. Just fine. No, absolutely. I appreciate you taking the time. Of course, your show American heroes. That's that's doing incredible stuff. You've got a you've got a new episode coming out. Your your show is on TV. I hope that everybody goes and checks you out there. You've been the president of the NRA for a bit now elected in may actually took office on September eight right? I wanted to do a good audit and make sure that everything's run the up and up, and they are and so I was worn in as the president on the eighth of September. Just in time to get on planes and fly all over America tried to campaign for good people who support the second amendment. Well, we're glad to have you as the president. You, of course know that I'm an NRA member a good friends at Ted Nugent on the board of directors, and we we just want what's right with the founders put in the constitution that will let me ask you this. Colonel right up front. Why is it that people like CNN, and Jim Acosta think the first amendment is is completely unabridged an owner fringe infringe, but the second amendment you can do anything you want to it? What why is that? Well, in fact, they're using the. First amendment very often against the second amendment. And what you look at. I thankfully, blessedly missed the first couple of days of that fiasco because I was running around the country, renegade members of the NRA. Right. And what I saw. There was something even in like I served when Ronald Reagan was present for five and a half years. I watched jerks like Sam Donaldson get up and pull donkey acts regularly and the president look very well, by the way, pardon the president handled. It very well, by the way. Yes. And and you know, what this president I can understand why he did what he did. Because Donaldson even his worst days would never have done. What was done to that young intern? Right. I I got kids her age. I got grandkids rage. And I watched a kid, you know, try to reach up. She was told to go get the mic from she tried her. And he just shoved her off. Yup. I mean, that's I when she no back down. I wasn't watching him. I was watching her because I could see one of my granddaughters in that same kind. She didn't know what to do. And she hit. Herself. Very well. But she actually right and what incredible rudeness. Here's the thing that amazes me. They want to take the president to court demanding that this guy get his credentials back right though. That was something that everybody could get any time. They wanted to put your paperwork in this is nuts. It's the same thing. When we see the president is now being dragged into court over whether he can name acting just a attorney general the United States. I mean, we've gone crazy trying to use the judicial system for everything except what being is supposed to be used for which is to basically, punish criminals. Give Justice to the people. And now they're using the courts of the United States to force the president to give somebody credentials when I could could a guy from Pravda have done that back. When Ronald Reagan was president. No, no, no. It's a great question. And by the way, three hundred twenty million Americans. Do we all have the right to go be in the White House? Press corps. The answer is no, it's a privilege. Of course, the press can cover him and they're allowed to and CNN has fifty hard passes. There isn't one in the constitution. That says Jim Acosta needs to have one. Yeah. But that's that's exactly where they are though. But when it comes to guns, nobody should have any guns with any more than two round magazines, and we should all just have, shotguns and nothing more. Well, in fact, you're not even allowed to have an automatic shotgun. I mean, I've got my Bonelli black eagle nice giant birds with and I need all three shots. That'd be able to. But they wanna take that for me. 'cause it's a long gun that said quote semiautomatic and must therefore be assault. Actually carried a shotgun. When I was a young marine Lieutenant in Vietnam up on the demilitarized zone where we didn't see any the only Vietnamese we ever saw were wearing North Vietnamese army uniforms. We didn't even via Kong up there. And I use that model twelve Winchester, which by the way, the ten round capacity with a ban it log on the end of the barrel. Very effectively just the way the good Lord meant for that shot gonna be used that saved my life. Look at that kind of thing and say because at ten rounds would that be banned day by somebody in New York? California would be banned. Yes. We're Washington state, which is best another this ridiculous resolution that they put in this initiative as they call it. It's an essentially say among other things that if you're an eighteen year old who got one volunteer service when you came back home to the United States on leave from fighting for your country within a real assault weapon, by the way. Oh, you can't by the way pick up and use a semiautomatic rifle because that's an assault weapon. I mean, we're sending them off to war. He's old enough to vote for president anybody else wanting merica, and it comes back home, and he can't use packed. He's not allowed to buy not allowed to possess. Not allowed to use a semi automatic rifle. That's plain nuts. From NRA TV. It's Colonel Oliver North used the president of the NRA. Not that anybody has machine guns. We shouldn't have these automatic AR fifteen. Nobody has an automatic AR fifteen or we shouldn't have these guns that could take one hundred rounds. Well, it's very rare to begin with. But they don't understand at all what they understand is gone is bad in the end that if I say gun is bad enough. It must be true. We'll look you got to remember. They're calling themselves gun control advocates you right? They're not that what they really are the leaders of the disarm America. Movement. First time in my lifetime. And I'm now seventy five Joe, okay? That I've ever heard of a Justice of the supreme court suggesting we should repeal the second amendment. John Stevens did that a few months ago? Not just we now have we now have people elected to office in this most recent election, who advocate, let's introduce the resolutions to repeal the second amendment. That's never happened in my lifetime before look at the NRA has been pilloried. The NRA has been defamed the NRA has been pushed to the margins as the disarm America movement gathers hearings we've seen somewhere between three hundred and fifty million dollars. But Bloomberg and his buddies up in New York. He's rich oligarchs throwing money into this contest. Why? Because the second amendment is written the only purpose wasn't. So I could go hunting. I love to hunt. So you could have three round shotgun refi. Around shotgun or you could buy deer rifle it was there to prevent tyranny right tyrannies, the oppression of the American people, and that's the purpose of it being there. And that's why they want to disable it at the very least and repeal it at the very best. That's their goal. Because once the second amendment is gone. The other ten the other nine and the Bill of rights extend Bill of rights. The other night aren't gonna matter. Well, I mean, this is something that I've talked about with with Ted an awful lot with other NRA members an awful lot with Dana lash. I mean, obviously, the second amendment was put in there to make sure the other amendments were protected and to make sure that we can never again see in this country would King George the third was doing people in this generation Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North he's the president of the NRA the people in these in this day and age in this generation do not know that they think it's about deer hunting. They think it's about about target practice. They think it's about skeet shooting. Well, and of course, their advocacy is if we bend the mall, if we got rid of the second amendment and simply took all the other guns off to the police would be there to protect us. And he wouldn't have these mass shootings looking well, let me just share this with your Joe. Fifty years ago. I raised my right hand and took a nose to support and defend the constitution. United States against all enemies. Foreign domestic is facing the same. That owes ends with the words. So help me God people say why did you take on becoming the president the NRA? What a what a thankless task. I said no I have skin in the game. My wife, and I have seventeen grandkids. I want them to grow up in a country with the Bill of rights is intact and still has. Meaning like it has for you and me generate today is five and a half million members. Here's what we stand for. We stand for the second amendment. We know that our individual rights come with personal responsibilities. We're proud of our country. We believe the US constitution is the law of the land. We're committed to civic duty and were willing to protect our freedoms. And we're unashamed to stand with our hands over our hearts for flagging national anthem. That's who the NRA is. So I I'm going around the country asking people to join us and all they've been reading this dribble. And they've been seeing it on television about what the what the quote disarm America movement is really all about. And unfortunately, there's not a lot of Americans uses pointing out Joe who really understand why we have the Bill of rights, and why the second amendment is there. It is Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North Colonel north that we always appreciate the time. Oliver North American heroes telling stories of great Americans from all walks of life. He's old enough to vote for president anybody else they want and it comes back home, and he can't use packed. He's not allowed to buy not allowed to possess. Not allowed to use. A semiautomatic rifle. That's plain nuts is from NRA TV. It's Colonel Oliver North used the president of the NRA. Not anybody has machine guns. We shouldn't have these automatic AR fifteen. Nobody has an automatic AR fifteen or we shouldn't have these guns that could take one hundred rounds. Well, that's very rare to begin with. But they don't understand at all what they understand is gone is bad. I in the end that if I say gun is bad enough. It must be true. Well, look, you got to remember. They're calling themselves gun control advocates you right? They're not that what they really are as the leaders of the disarm America movement. First time in my lifetime, seventy five Joe, okay? That I've ever heard of a Justice of the supreme court suggesting we should repeal the second amendment. John Stevens did that a few months ago? We now have we now have people elected to office in this most recent election who advocate, let's introduce the resolutions to repeal the second amendment. That's never happened in my lifetime before the NRA has been pilloried. The NRA has been defamed the NRA has been pushed to the margins as the disarm America movement gathers adherence we we've seen somewhere between three hundred and fifty million dollars. But Bloomberg and his buddies up in New York. He's rich oligarchs throwing money into this contest. Why? Because the second amendment is written the only purpose wasn't. So I could go hunting. I love to hunt. So you could have three round shotgun refi round shotgun or that you could buy deer rifle. It was there to prevent tyranny. Right. Tierney the oppression of the American people, and that's the purpose of it being there. And that's why they want to disable it at the very least and repeal it at the very best. That's their goal. Because once the second amendment is gone. The other ten the other night and the Bill of rights, those tend Bill of rights the other night. I kinda matter. I mean, this is going to talk about with with Ted an awful lot with other NRA members an awful lot with Dana lash. I mean, obviously, the second amendment was put in there to make sure the other amendments were protected and make sure that we can never again see in this country would King George the third was doing people in this generation Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North he's the president of the NRA the people in these in this day and age in this generation do not know that they think it's about deer hunting. They think it's about about target practice. They think it's about skeet shooting. Well, and of course, their advocacy is if we ban them all if we got rid of the second amendment and simply took all the other guns off to the police would be there to protect us. And he wouldn't have these mass shootings look at let me just share this with Joe. Fifty years ago. I raised my right hand and took a nose to support and defend the constitution United States against all enemies, foreign domestic bear facing allegiances same. That owes ends with the words. So help me God people say why did you take on becoming the president the NRA? What what else thankless task? I said no I have skin in the game. My wife, and I have seventeen grandkids. And we're unashamed to stand with our hands over our hearts for flag and national anthem. That's who the NRA is. Right. So I'm going around the country asking people to join us and all been reading his dribble. And they've been seeing it on television about what the what the quote disarm America movement is really all about. And unfortunately, there's not a lot of Americans uses pointing out Joe who really understand why we have the Bill of rights, and why the second amendment is there. It is Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North Colonel north. We always appreciate the time. Oliver North American heroes telling stories of great Americans from all walks of life. This episode is about debut Bank. Can you give me a quick thing on debut Bank debut, Bank, Washington state native joins the army becomes a ranger becomes a special forces officer. He's following in the footsteps of his own dad was who fought in the Korean war. His dad got out of the army and became a missionary in Burma. Dave gets a phone call as he's about to leave the army to come over and help the Burmese people against the oppressive government debut Bank goes to Burma organizers unit called the Free Burma Rangers. They're not. Paramilitary they're not like countries or anything like that. But what they are as people who are trained to help other people and he does. So with a very Christian perspective his dad's a missionary. He's a missionary. I've been around the world with Dave Eubank. He is the definition of an American hero is a person who puts themselves at risk for the benefit of another. Did if you did nothing. No one could ever criticize you for it. But the euro goes out and says I'm going to do my best to make that person's outcome better than falling through the ice. Getting knocked over by a vehicle in overrun or getting shot by ISIS. And so I covered him out there in that part of the world came to realize this man is extraordinarily for his heritage heroes, his courage. His is remarkable perseverance tenacity, and he's got his wife and children with him helping other people everybody to go and see this Oliver North American heroes. It's on NRA TV NRA TV go there. I've never bought a gun from the NRA. So I don't know where that comes from. How do you react to these things which obviously are just two two rows up emotions in people hear about in your show job. Well, because we've also about a million kids a year get the it eagle program which teaches a little kid in elementary school. What not to do when you see a firearm? And what to do when you see if Iran, very simple, and yes, there are school systems in California, and some very liberal places that don't want any eagles there because he's attached to the NRA's. "There. Also, the blaze radio network. It is the weekend with joepags led to have you here. Really glad to get with Colonel Oliver North. Yes that Colonel Oliver North east. Now, the president of the NRA. There was so much that I wanted to get to Colonel. I appreciate you taking the time. As always I'm glad to be with you brother, even snow here in the mountains of Regina. And I know you don't have any down there my hometown San Antonio. But let me just tell you in most of America where it snows snowplows in Virginia, we have a democrat regime running the room state. Now, we have spring come on. You gotta wait till spring. I I hear you. Now, listen, it was twenty three degrees yesterday morning in your hometown of San Antonio. But we did not get snow and now it's about sixty sixty five so we bounced back just fine. No, absolutely. I appreciate you taking the time. Of course, your show American heroes. That's that's doing incredible stuff. You've got a you've got a new episode coming out your show is on TV. I hope that everybody goes and checks you out there. You've been the president of the NRA for a bit now. Elected in may actually took office on September eight right? I wanted to do a good audit and make sure that everything's run the up and up and they are. And so I was sworn in as the president on the eighth of September. Just in time to get on airplanes and fly all over America trying to campaign for good people who support the second amendment. Well, we're glad to have you as the president. You, of course know that I'm an NRA member a good friends with Ted Nugent on the board of directors, and we we just want what's right with the founders put in the constitution that will let me ask you this. Colonel right up front. Why is it that people like CNN, and Jim Acosta the first amendment is is completely unoriginal an owner of infringe, but the second amendment you can do anything you want to it? What why is that? Well, in fact, they're using the first amendment very often against the second amendment. And what you look at. I thankfully, blessedly missed the first couple of days of that fiasco because I was running around the country trying to gain members because the NRA and what I saw there was something even in like, I. I served when Ronald Reagan was president for five and a half years. I watched jerks like Sam Donaldson get up and pull donkey acts regularly and the president handled it very well. By the way, pardon the president handled. It very well. By the way. Yes. And and you know, what this president I can understand why he did what he did. Because Donaldson even his worst days would never have done. What was done to that young intern? Right. I I got kids her age. I got grandkids her age. And I watched that kid, you know, try to reach up. She was told to go get the mic from she tried to. And he just shoved her off. Yup. I mean, that's I when she knelt back down. I wasn't watching him. I was watching her because I could see one of my granddaughters in that same. She didn't know what to do, and she handled herself very well. But she didn't know what to do. What what incredible rudeness quit using that amazes me? They want to take the president to court demanding that this guy get his credentials back. So that was something that everybody could get any time. They wanted to put their paperwork, right nuts. It's the same thing. When we see the president is now being dragged into court over whether we can name an acting just attorney general of the United States. I mean, we've gone crazy trying to use the judicial system for everything except what it's being is supposed to be used for which is basically punish criminals gives Justice to the people. And now, they're using the courts of the United States to force the president to give somebody credentials. I could could a guy from Pravda have done that back. There isn't one in the constitution that says Jim accosted needs to have one. But they wanna take that from me because it's a long gun that say quote semiautomatic and must therefore be soccer. Actually carried a shotgun. When I was a young Lieutenant in Vietnam up on the demilitarized zone where we didn't see any the only Vietnamese we ever saw were wearing North Vietnamese army uniforms. Right. We didn't even have the up there. And I use that model twelve Winchester, which by the way, the ten round capacity with a bayonet lug on the end of the barrel. Very effectively just the way the good water meant for that shot going to be used at saved my life that kind of thing and say because of that ten rounds would that be banned by somebody in New York? California would be banned. Yes. Washington state, which is another this ridiculous resolutions they put in this initiative as they call it. It's an it would essentially say among other things that if you're an eighteen year old who got one volunteer service came back on the United States on leave from fighting for your country was a real assault weapon, by the way. It you can't by the way pick up and use a semiautomatic rifle because that's an assault weapon. I mean, we're sending them off to war. "Want to be heard also joepags dot com for all the social media Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Email, we also have we've also got a live video stream is there you see the pags parodies. Have got a section there for that interviews that I've done and in certainly the monologues that I've done as well. What's interesting is is people have one of these parodies. Forever post them Mona mega my ringtone. I want to do that. I want to download I'll buy an album, I'm not going to sell them because taking other people's music. And I'm changing the words, and I'm I'm actually giving a commentary a satire of of their songs. I I wouldn't make any money off of it. But certainly if you want to get them, I've decided to post them on my website, joepags dot com. J O E P, H dot COM. So make sure you go there after the bottom of the hour is going to be Lieutenant Colonel. Oliver north. Yes that Oliver North. He is now the president of the NRA interesting as they just scan through Twitter today a little while ago. There's somebody who's verified and much. Sure. Why? But. Brenda somebody, and I've never heard of the woman before but not that I have to have heard of it. Anybody who's verified, but hurt her tweet was. The only people I've ever heard of having air fifteen or mass murderers. The only people I've ever heard of that have air fifteen's are mass murderers. This is just something that somebody is posted Twitter does nothing about it. There you go. Having to have a good day. And it's it's it's a ridiculous thing to say. I mean, I've got a near fifty. I'm killing anybody. Now. Her name is Nina. Nina, somebody say her last doesn't matter almost every person I've ever heard of what a with an air fifteen has been a mass murderer based on Twitter sample. The rest of them are scarily paranoid. Get on the right side of history and then calls out some specific people. And like what I've got an AR fifteen that murdered anybody. There are about fifteen million air fifteen in the country. The vast majority have never even been contemplated to been used for a mass murderer. But this is the sort of indoctrination, we have talked a lot with with the Colonel with Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North about just that how do you combat the indoctrination Eric Holder nineteen ninety-five talking about how we have to make we have to brainwash Americans think guns are bad. Here's a guy and Eric Holder who's been protected by guns his entire governmental career, which has been a long time. The people who want guns gone are the ones that are protected by guns. They're save their secure their families are safe and secure. So why should watch? Did they have to worry about it? That's not gonna go away we ban guns ban guns from the good guys who protect them. But it always begs the question, do you think that people really believe what they say about guns? I can this person. This Nina really.
