"Colerain township trustee Matt Waller good evening man good evening I'd on your dress I'm pretty good I was surprised when I called you earlier today to to hear that you were self quarantining I am self court pleading now yeah I've had a slight temperature for the last two or three days and develop a little bit of a dry cough and shin shortness of breath and called my doctor and he said right from the lock it down instantly as the pack out and we're gonna see how things go and if it if it progresses which I understand if it can work with this client of ours the progressions all go ahead and you can get the best not yeah you're talking about this the elevated temperature the body aches dry cough it's like all of the red flags represent oh my god this is what everybody's been talking about do you feel like that may been at do you think that you've been exposed to do you know that you've been exposed at any point you know I I don't know I've been pretty much the last I guess now twelve fourteen days pretty much locked up in the in the house abiding by the governor's order in in just going out for grocery shopping in in just a central trips but you know sometimes it takes a little bit longer for this to show symptoms and I'm certainly teaching it did Miami and at the end of the teaching elder although it's been a long time since I've been to both places yeah in in corn township trustee it down around a lot of people so I certainly when it I guess the phraseology now's an abundance of caution okay all right so he'll find that's the irony I pretty much feel okay it's just that the symptoms started to present themselves and you look at the numbers and you know it's it's not something you want to play around with yeah I mean you don't even question whether it's psychosomatic at that point or not you just kind of assume well let's let's ride this out and see what happens and hopefully you don't have to go to the hospital the other thing is a few people percentage wise actually have to be hospitalized and any were smaller percentage and again we've been talking about this for days now you don't know how many people are actually infected with this I mean the mortality rate maybe point two percent once we find out how many people actually have this covert nineteen virus in their bodies or have had it I just hung a lot of the test now seem to be going in for good reason to to a New York into the Illinois and in Louisiana and New Jersey and some of these big hot spots so did your doctor talk about when you might get a test if you would yep they're very hard to get my really don't wanna jump on one right away unless I'm really starting to feel bad but you know I eat I'm going to get in touch with him again the Marin given up give them an update we're gonna take it from there but I don't who for seventy two hours you know I could be wrong so to speak but monitor is not much I can do till may first anyway so I might as well just write it out your home and then I will watch a watch old reruns of of little house on the prairie you are you are leading a charmed exciting life are you not yes so I mean let me ask you what I've been asking everybody else because whether you feel ill or not or you may be infected or you're not you're not a confirmed case or not what are you doing with all this time are you doing productive well I'm still actually for both schools I'm still teaching we're doing online classes okay in that produces probably three or four times the paper flow that question person produces so I'm doing a lot of grading as well inductive come up on some reading in I have scrubbed everything in my house probably ten times in the last week I've got four oh nine a Clorox and and you know every time I look at a sport we stop in the incidence pregnant and spring life phone and clean everything off well you know that I've I've kind of updated one of my Jerry Jeff Walker resumes that I've had for years you know what's the best way to make sure your house gets clean either become addicted to crystal meth or get covert nineteen when when you're addicted to crystal meth I understand that you're using a toothbrush on the bathroom floor yeah I don't I don't I've never experienced that honestly but that's what I've heard so what's going on with this I know you're Colerain township trustee but the city of Cincinnati now vice mayor Smitherman talking about you know stop industry cargo to stop the street car to prevent the spread okay I'll go with that M. and queen city metro I mean you gotta have you gotta have mass transportation apparently that that's what they keep telling us and that's why issue sevens on the ballot again whatever the election happens what's at April twenty eighth I guess I I voted the first day of early voting and it's been so long I think I forgot what I voted for Moore yes but mayor Cranley coming out yesterday with his very emotional announcement that he was gonna have to lay off seventeen hundred Cincinnati city employees because of the lack of funds coming and the lack of revenue is that an issue in Colerain township I'm sure it's going to be an issue everywhere were walking according township the is it the ministration pretty much when the governor said he is going to cut it stayed on a hiring freeze and impact budgets immediately our leadership team went in and reviewed all the revenues to see we're we're we're we're going to be asked we looked at it expenses in we have been on top of that since you know since the crisis started but I think it's gonna be a long no matter what happens with the the health portion the economic fortunes gonna be a long haul I mean you you mentioned some snags before Macy's the car with a hundred and thirty thousand people yeah some jobless claims last week three point three million new ones this is gonna hurt yeah that's the biggest week before that was like seven hundred thousand in nineteen eighty I thank Allah maybe in the in the in the in order to handle the Carter administration yes three three point three million people filing for unemployment my wife one of them I I haven't filed because I've still obviously got this job so I do want to take any funds away from anybody else but now no revenue stream from the bar obviously in Kentucky which you know what I'll I'll live with it my wife working a part time job she's going to get a few dollars a week probably she'd successfully filed hers that's been the other issue is the unemployment system even though they okayed the money in the extension in the stimulus package extended to four months of unemployment insurance for people who've lost their gigs through no fault of their own even with that it's a it's a drop in the bucket compared to where we were before because the economy was really wearing on almost all cylinders before this happened yeah I think you're gonna see Thursday when they release new job claims another just use the increase because even in Ohio and I think it's been the case in a number of other states they've just been overwhelmed on the websites with the filings and three point three million last week will probably understated people couldn't get it done it took Krista a week finally to get through on the website without it crashing on her or without their them you know dumping her out in fact Sunday she finally got it done and she said I've been trying for two hours let's see where was I said you were sleep okay I've been I've been trying for two hours and I got almost all the way through and then it dropped me and thank god when I log back in and had my information safe so she was all part of that but it's just been a nightmare in so many ways for so many different people do you think the government over reacted whether it be the state of the federal or whatever and and you're somebody who may actually have covert nineteen see do you think the government overreacted bad what do you think yeah I just don't know because the numbers you know I've told people this is this is really a like a hundred years old a hundred years epidemic your extension it's something the president and the president president called it a plague today and and it may be in that category I'm not sure I I just think the way it spreads really presents a lot of problems spread so quickly so I I wouldn't say they over reacted I eat you know you take a look at Ohio which has probably been one of the stronger sacking states for absolutely to Tennessee which has been much more laid back and those numbers are just if you compare the two were incredible yeah yeah so I you know I I I don't know I guess history will tell well if we if we over reacted certainly we're gonna be with the economic issue for a while and you know I'm reading now in China were your closing things down again because they have a second wave coming through well they started allowing people to come back into the country that's what they said initially that these were all exported cases and there was only one a domestic case that had popped up that was a couple days ago but yeah I've I've heard about the second wave thing I did I don't really don't trust much that's coming out of China at all regarding this I don't I don't much of what comes out of China their numbers are just they're they're fictional I think at this point when the list thirty seven new cases a day or something right none of that there's episodic evidence from from a number of news outlets that talk about Wuhan orange ordering so many a basis for the crematoriums and how many people that that the number of deaths were much much higher than what they've actually report yeah I mean we had infrared satellite pictures before it was even here in the United States are before we knew it was here of the of the area around Han they said the only get this imagery when massive amounts of bodies are being burned so we saw that back and you know what January a letter late January early February I don't trust I don't trust me or send I don't trust I don't trust the World Health Organization either because of the way they have always cozied up to China even though United States gives W. H. O. more money than any other country up they are absolutely praising China and kowtowing to China at every turn I saw an interview I don't know if you saw this there was a woman in Hong Kong the reporter in Hong Kong who was questioning Bruce our whose like second in command at the WHL.

"And now we're getting word from the the emergency management association so let's go to the neckline code issue that's in front of us all one of the biggest things that we are currently working on is managing the information for all of our partners obviously there's a lot of information coming out from the state from the different departments within the county and from our local jurisdictions and all that's coming into our emergency operations center which has been activated for over a week now and bring that in between that together so actually one of the difficulties that we face is the fact that this information is constantly changing I passed out to all of you our latest said Rep which we just issued right around noon that's already out of date because we got our second confirmed case so we're trying to get at least one situation poured out daily and we share those with all of our local fire chiefs of police chiefs all the local elected officials mayors the township administrators just so that everyone has sort of what we call that common operating picture and constant communication so that we can work to anticipate any needs that our communities might have as of today we currently have eight of the four nine jurisdictions that have declared states of emergency and clean the seats Cincinnati Anderson township Colerain township Norwood Woodlawn Lachlan deer park and spring Dale in addition to the county's declaration the state and the federal decorations that we received one of the other things that our office is currently working on regularly to this was the coordination of PP amongst our first response partners PP protective personal protective equipment for first responders and for the hospital so things like the gloves N. ninety five masks the surgical mask and one of our big efforts is really coordinating the sharing of information between the local fire departments and hospitals as far as the regional cash that Greg talked about making sure that everyone is aware of what the limitations are how to appropriately ration the use of PPE and if they do need to request that from the region cash making sure everyone's using that same process so that we can constantly monitor our resources and anticipate any potential shortfalls which right now we don't cash is going up also communicating with the state of Ohio EMA in Ohio department health so that if we do need to request state level resources to supplement what we have in the region a we're prepared to do that and that's not something we have to figure out when that time comes so my questions thank you thank you for the update I any questions or comments for right no question thank you all right and again.

"Five on the chart with all of that yeah and I can recall that case in Colerain township where police all firefighters going I think captain Bronx to men and another was a shower or something like that and there was allegations lightly grow operation in the basement and there was no connection between the two but however whenever you start growing marijuana illegally you got to be thinking about number one what happens do I have the right safety measures secondly if I'm caught it's a felony thirdly the please can confiscate your house and anything connected to it and fourth why not safe for the firefighters all hell's broken yeah right yeah yeah no no quick end is within a five story apartment building I mean this could have been really bad like you said the fortunate you know how fast and how effective the Cincinnati fire department is because they got there and even though with the working fire when they got there they were able to use the suppression that they had to keep that thing to yeah pretty minimal damage really considering where they were but that yeah I've been a very dangerous situation in an apartment building up all you know you like you like to think there's professional courtesy and this first case we talked about about lawyers in about news individuals about on the straight and cops but when everything is videotaped and you say tell your mom that you met real cops tonight and it doesn't help that I'm a police officer now that plays well and not course a lot of cops or hang outside of a bar two thirty in the morning and that's were the drinking is right now right I think it was a man is I've been by a man this is a little bar there in Loveland like going to Loveland like going to the greater is their send these out it's indecent yeah I don't know what they were celebrating but Hoover's a phone call away does does get on the horn and say Hey I'm right here get picked up and cops to enforce the laws got to follow the law and as you said if if captain Amanda Caton fifty five years old a two twenty four AM as she gone another ten miles down the road and killed somebody all hell breaks loose and they go to our days a what is it parked the car here I'm taking you home well I if you do that you got to do that with everybody an early right deal with everybody it's is bad politics and his momentary lapse a good judgment is going to cause captain Amanda Kate and quite a bit to to be in the police division only seventeen years and earn your way up to a captain out of a family of police officers I just I have empathy for her maybe I shouldn't but I do right well you know I mean it it it you know it it's it's one of those things that can happen I mean maybe it was canon figured there wasn't that far to go didn't think she was that you know sometimes when you have you been drinking or stop me your your your judgment isn't that good so all the sudden your bank your okay when really you are not okay and you know what that that's a possibility whatever it is it's one of those situations where you want to like you said the thing surprises me is that he would know that all this was recorded at the met with Rodney mulch that both of you would have realized this was all recorded in an and none of the and all that was going to be captured that that's the one part the kind of surprised me I mean back somebody maybe goes out they have a little bit too much that that that happened we got over many folks even a captain Hoover you know maybe get got over the line didn't realize that but but when the stuff so I mean even if you're pretty bad all you would realize I'm on camera now or this is gonna be all record good I would think they would have realized that that does surprise me a little bit that there would have been maybe a little bit more restraint like Hey go with the flow will work all this out later will go to court it will be we can make happen but don't don't get all need god we'd been in their shoes well you know so now they got to get a hold of leaving around a stop by the main call the member going back in time to the grow operation it was robin Brock's demand and and Brian Shirer who were sent right thought they read a fire scene in Colerain township suddenly there was a a marijuana grow operation in the basement that somehow we can the floorboards down they go in to bring our fighters are dead so yeah yeah you gotta take that very seriously all right well we got it right we got a run and now we'll see what happens and Brian Hambrick you're a great American once again thank you for coming on the bill Cunningham show thanks again Mister Cunningham run hammer thank us continue now after two o'clock today I think about two forty to forty five Joe deters unica gonna come on directly after his news conference and what's through ancestry dot com they have solved a series of rapes of children and young women in the tri state I think it's going to put out a a Clarion call for more information on this but I don't have a lot to scan information about what's going to be announced at two thirty but stay tuned to forty five for more a term of the Reds newsradio seven hundred WLW.

"W. this is one of those things it probably happens a heck of a lot more than you think it happens and that is an explosion blew up a kitchen in Colerain township last week because the style was hot and someone left a can of Pam you know cooking spray on top of the stove and the can over heated because it's an aerosol you say and bone it blowed up real good so you got hot now not only do you have the can't exploding but think about this you have over heated drops of oil working like napalm exploding in your kitchen not only is it going to be kind of messy to clean all that stuff up because it got oil all over but the fact that two adults and two kids were injured this whole thing too so you'll since care but I imagine the burns that you would have after a super heated oiled Exley on oil explosion basically and it's amazing to me how many times something like this happens our could happen anyway so you know and I'm like for example my properties if I'm going I'm doing work I'll notice that someone will have I don't know we'll go to the grocery store for example and said a bunch of bags on top of the stove electric stove and you just sat in there and and like I always say Hey you know move often go Hey just so you know I'm not telling you how to live or whatever but it's a bad habit to get into the point where my kids do it my wife would do it for a while I finally it took a long time but got out of the habit of using the the stove essentials a counter space that should be a no fly zone right the only time you're putting anything on there is if you want to cook it if you get a habit of putting whatever it is on top of the stove that's not cooking up a mentor food yell boxes packages grocery stuff like that you develop a habit that could lead to something like this because to me think about it you know it if you look at as counter spacey's puts up on top of the stove Mr stuff isn't working Tom plug well that's a different story maybe you eat out a lot I don't know you're really bad cook but yeah it happened but I actually happened in a place where I was at once where someone left I think was cleaning supplies or some guys are cleaning the kitchen and the kitchen area and same thing they were cleaning a bump the knob and no special electrics does you know the and the older one now the new ones have a a light on it but even still slowly the light right if you're not paying attention you bump that Bob and it doesn't take much heat for a a bot yup can or in this case is like a I think a cardboard box and look over like some Bernie look over manta but also the smoke is pouring out of the bottom the bottom just before it started to ignite pulled it off of there but you know that's like a tragedy averted in it's funny is in an in apartments and houses and stuff when I'm in there it's amazing how many people leave stuff on top of electric stove I don't know of gas you have to worry about as much of a thing because you know gas different mechanism because it's a flame obviously but you have to pushing the button and turn it in get to click before tonight's but and you know if if it doesn't ignite you can smell it be not as dangerous but yeah it's a state it's one of those things that you know it's not a habit you want to develop as a nod to set it on top of the stove because you know the counter spaces all awful stuff because of well things like this and I'm sure they're fired I'm sure there are people who work for the fire department police ago liner and go yeah you're right about that one for the first time all week Saloni right about something don't leave stuff that is not a pot a pan or cooking up woman on top of the stove because this is the kind of stuff that happens big explosions generally are frowned about the imagine getting hit by I a can of exploding cooking spray because the oil in that I would gas you know it's going to be can't expanding rather rapidly it's going to cause I guess would be like napalm hitting your skin hello fortunately known as killed but you know it's a valuable especially under the holidays you know you get busy but the stuff around and just something to think about anyway coming up at the tendo sick today on the Scotts lawn show on seven hundred W. although to continue talking about now one but the two added call them attacks certainly we had a soldier at NAS Pensacola that when a shooting spree a a Saudi soldier should Saudi shoulders should any for national have have a weapon on American soil I think it's a good question a lot of people made a deal of a loophole about this I'm not sure if you're professionally trained soldier if there should be a loophole for you but I did get examine those policies I think it's fair and of course what happened in New York City relative to the the Jersey city shootings there we have a police officer three others dead as a result of a black nationalist group that some spring of the Jewish community there and it seems like these things Abin flow in the tide is always turning but I've got talking about exactly how this is going to impact second ma'am and arguments on because that's let's face it that is going to be the focus of this as we have in the presidential news cycle right and and continue to head into that territory it's gonna be well we have to stop the shootings how do you do that without infringing on second memorized anyway and when Walker tennis six today at seven hundred W. O.
