You know, we you sent us something today and I think it was the head of the GOP in the state legislator in Pennsylvania. Oh, yeah, Who, and this is the goes back to what Alex was just talking about, you know, going and threatening. She said that essentially if she didn't go along with what the GOP in the Republicans and Trump wanted That they would blow your house up by the end of the evening would bomber house saying it's incredible and it's you go back. Not that many months everyone was on TV all the time on Fox. It was antifa in the streets, right going up your house. It was the black lives movement marching past going to the politicians, houses. Everyone's saying, This is ridiculous. This should be happening. This is wrong. And now you're seeing the exact same thing only on the right. It's the same. Lawlessness that we saw before and I gotta tell you, though, In fairness, nobody's burned down Anybody's house back, Chill anybody. He's destroyed neighborhoods. I gotta tell you to go to somebody's house. You go to a woman be a female politicians. House got a 12 year old son there, you know, weapons, got automatic weapons in your storming around outside making noise. That's scary, And there's no reason for it and you're like that's not gonna help your cause. It's not and what it does is to that. You know, we talked about with The people that are you know who's the party for real? We've talked about going to the Republican Party. That's a turn off for a lot of people that like you know what? I don't want a part of that anymore. For both sides. Extremism on both sides is ridiculous. The vast majority of us look at this and say, Don't go to somebody's house and do that. You want to voice your opinion. Absolutely do that. You want to vote you wanna You wanna make a speech when you write that letter to the editor, but you don't go to someone's house and try to intimidate and scare them. It's just wrong. We've had that here, Katie Hobbs or secretary of State. She said she's had threats. No. Ah, Pontus, the American County record, He had threats. It's It's ridiculous that were threatening people's lives over this sort of thing. And plus and you've got a call. And and this was, you know, people with once again, people say all Chad, you're trying to give people a pass. No. What I'm saying is You. You take that you couple that with the fact that for the last nine months we have been cooped up in our homes. People have been living on edge. It is the recipe for an absolute disaster. Because they're already angry and mad. Well, that's what makes what the Republican Party locally here in Arizona and Kanna Kelly Warner doing so That's that much more reprehensible when they're when they're equating violence, and we're ready to die for this when they're putting a little the bow and arrow the bone out of somebody's head when you're using violent means to get your point across at a time like this. Well, we're basically a powder keg right now. I've been locked in our homes for nine months, but the politics is is heightened it has ever been. People are just on edge. You're going to get somebody's gonna get too fired up to upset. They're gonna do something bad. Do I think Kelly Ward want somebody to go shoot another pocket? I don't think she does it all. But when you do that sort of stuff. There are people out there who are a little unhinged. It's going to send him over there. Always telling you just have to it was that Ping Pong pizza? It was called the Pink. Remember the whole thing. The pizza gate. It only took One person ago. I'm going to go there and go to the basement and free all these kids who are locked up. Hillary Clinton had him locked up and only to find out that this guy that a there's no basement. And B, You're insane and then, but rhetoric For and then so many people out there, they forget the fact that there are people that take them serious. They ratchet it up because it's part of the show in the game. Never once thinking. I hope nobody takes me seriously. There are people who a lot of people right now who literally believe that the Democrats and the rhinos in the media stole this election. They really believe that to be true, not the regardless of the lack of evidence. They think that's true. And they some of them think we need an armed insurrection to take the country back. Oh, you got here. So some of the stuff I get that Chad. Some of these people in the media he'd be tried for, you know, for for for sedition, and they need to be executed. Sits inside. All right. What We got coming up. We'll let you do this one get very shy. I don't even know what time it is. What's going on here? Oh, my goodness. So you want to lose some weight? "It's morning edition from NPR News. I'm Noelle King in Washington, D C and I'm David Grain in Los Angeles. Good morning. The University of North Carolina announced yesterday that it was backing away from its plans to hold classes. In person just one week into the fall semester. This has been the concern all summer long that colleges would welcome students to campus and then they'd have to shut down right away. NPR's Listen Natwar Knee has been Covering this. She is in Georgia this week where students at that states flagship University are moving onto campus. Hi, Lissa. Hey, Good morning Before we get to Georgia, where you are, Let's start with UNC Chapel Hill tells what happened there. So after just a week of classes, UNC Chapel Hill, one of the larger campus is trying to bring folks back for in person. Classes reversed the decision, so they're now pivoting toe all remote instruction. Following several Corona virus clusters on campus clusters. So so what exactly were talking about how many students are impacted here? Well, according to the university, just last week, 130 students and five employees tested positive. The clusters are in housing both on and off campus. The school says it's going to work to reduce on campus housing and let students out of those contracts without penalty. I've been keeping in touch with a junior at UNC Maeda, Deborah Jin. She's just moved into her off campus apartment over the weekend. Here's what she had to say. People saw this coming. This was not by any means. A surprise for a lot of faculty members, campus workers. Students. I was not even here for 24 hours, and then classes get ended up being shifted. All over the country. Colleges are watching what's happening at UNC as they themselves are starting to bring students back. Well, People saw this coming, she said. I mean, that's amazing. And this has to be on the minds of universities that are going through the re opening process, and one of them is the University of Georgia, where you are, what's it feel like there? Well, we got to campus on MoveOn weekend, which usually is a pretty rowdy weekend. But here it's relatively quiet. You know, there's just groups of students hanging out on campus. The campus does require masks pretty much all the time. When you're not eating or in your dorm and students have been complying. We saw students outside a fraternity house playing basketball. All but one were wearing masks. Well. Well, what is mean? How'd you even handle the moving in a state like Georgia, which is had I think the highest number of positive cases per population in the country, right? That's right. And there are special covert procedures here to slim down cup spaces to keep him to keep less crowded. You know, you had to sign up for slots to MoveOn. You're only allowed to bring two people into the dorm with you. And we saw tons of cleaning supplies. Provided her with hand sanitizers mast disinfectants for a room. That's mom Ebony Coleman, whose daughter Kindle is starting her freshman year, She packed a quarantine bag with her to move in. Just like a first aid kit. If you will. She's got a duffel bag that we put together with extra charger's A few shell verbal rations If you will, uh, chicken brother whenever we could put in there Just to make sure that she had what she needed in quarantine. So that's just in case she gets sick. You know, there's a little anxiety. Of course this is this is a different kind of move in, but it's also really exciting, and the Coleman family is really proud. UTA has been her dream school for years since she was a little little girl. I'm feeling emotional haven't cried hit, but I probably will. I don't know what I'm getting chills listening to such a proud mom. I mean, how are students feeling? Can they focus on on the beginning of this college experience with everything going on in quarantine bags? So for the most part, they're really happy to be on campus. We talked to a group of students who are eating dinner outside by the football stadium was really good that we were able to get on campus so they can see what tactics are working was not even though we have to be like the sacrificial lambs, and it kind of makes me nervous because, like probably already walked past somebody who has it and doesn't even know it. That was Janet Mohammed and Annette Camargo. Vera, First year students they had masks the college actually sent every student to washable mass and a thermometer in the mail before they came to campus. Right now. They're more concerned with making friends and actually recognizing people on campus in those masks, then getting Corona virus themselves. Well, I mean, this is what we saw at UNC. They decided there were enough clusters enough concern that they had to go online. I mean, does Georgia have a threshold for when they would need to shut down and when? When things would get that enough? So I put that question to Dr Shelling us who's been helping implement reopening plans here. That's the million dollar question, Elissa. I mean, of course, it's it's been discussed, but it's very complicated. Are we out of our own isolation beds? You know how many pockets Aaron dorms versus not? I mean? I mean, there's probably 20 or 30 different things, so not a concrete answer. No, UTA is doing randomized testing every day on campus now says they're planning on reporting the number of positive cases on a weekly basis. But the good big question here is what the students do off campus. You know, we did go out last night, and the bar strip in downtown Athens was full of students, many without masks. On the street. There were re unions, hugs, chatting, smoking. One thing to know you know, it's warm out here, so there is a lot of socializing that's happening outside. All right. Listen, I know you're going to be travelling over the next several months on the road Exploring what college looks like in a pandemic. If you are a college dinner, professor, you want to share your experience? You confined Elissa on Twitter at Elissa Nat. Warning, Elissa, Thank you so much. Thanks, Stephen. Just like a first date, kid. Usually a has been her dream school for years, and she was a little little girl. We talked to a group of students who are eating dinner outside by the football stadium was really good that we were able to get on campus so they can see what tactics are working was not even though we have to be like the sacrificial lambs, and it kind of makes me nervous because, like I probably already walked past somebody who has it and doesn't even know it. Well, I mean, this is what we start UNC. They decided there were enough clusters enough concern that they had to go online. I mean, does Georgia have a threshold for when they would need to shut down when when things would get that enough? So I put that question to Dr Shelling us who's been helping implement reopening plans here. That's the million dollar question, Elissa. I mean, of course, it's it's been discussed, but it's very complicated. Are we out of our own isolation beds? You know how many pockets Aaron dorms versus not? I mean? I mean, there's probably 20 or 30 different things. So not a concrete answer. Uta is doing randomized testing every day on campus now says they're planning on reporting the number of positive cases on a weekly basis. But the good big question here is what the students do off campus..

If you like, what you hear police describe and make sure you head over to apple podcasts to rate and review the show. It really does help, and we really do appreciate it today on the podcast, we have celebrity trainer, bestselling author and working mom, autumn calories. She has created the breakthrough fitness programs, twenty one day, fix twenty one day fix extreme. The master's hammer inches will and country heat. She's revolutionized the beach body fitness model with their simple approach to health eating together with her chef brother, Bobby calibers. She authored the portion control cookbook fix and host the cooking show by the same name that streams on beach body on demand, fixate features, simple, delicious, recipes, all perfectly portion controlled and easy to make her goal as a health and fitness expert is to motivate and inspire people to make the lasting changes that will serve them and their families for the rest of their lives. Now I want to give you a little heads up for this. Episode had a little bit of issue with the recording. So you won't hear our normal intro where I say Hello to the guest, and they say Hello back to me, and we actually jump right in in the middle of autumn talking a little bit about who she is and what she has done. The moment we come in, she is discussing how the creation of her programs came about when she had a client that was doing all the right things, and they went out to lunch one day together and she ordered a salad and she realized that this enormous salad that she got was a normal meal for this person. That's when she realized that it was all about portion control. And that's when she started to work to make fixate and twenty one fix and all her programs kind of came about from this. I opening experience that she had. So that's where you're going to jump in on the conversation. Autumn was a fantastic guest. Super nice. Her programs really are excellent. I've tried them. I know a lot of people that swear by the beach body programs and her programs are definitely some of the best on the service. We do talk about her programs and we talk about physical. Health and exercise. But we do talk quite a bit about mental health as well. We talk about being anxious and exercising. We talk about how to get the family and kids involved with the programs and get them eating healthy and exercising more as well. It's a really great conversation, and I hope you enjoy it and that's what we're gonna talk about today. So without further ado, here's autumn. So basically what she had eaten in one meal was really her intake for the whole day. And that may be realized, you know, we're this society of super size than over size in more and more and more. When we see something in a normal person size, we actually feel like we're getting gypped, which obviously is not the case. It's quite the opposite, but that's sort of how we've been trained. So I really wanted to create something to show people that they can have the foods that they love. They didn't have to deprive themselves. They didn't have to crash diet that if you just combine this really whole natural foods approach to eating combined with your exercise, that you could have mazing success and not only have the physical results that you wanna see, but have the internal health that hopefully we all want is well, and I had created a version of the program of the portion control program. I had launched its on the hallmark channel on a show Coleman family, and I was about two months into selling. It was doing well for obviously navy knee and doing it all on my own and a client. I had given it to a client of mine. And she had passed it on to a friend of hers that she was trying to sort of encourage to lose weight and it was this just sort of eight one person passing it on to the next in about three people later made its way into the hands of the head of product development at beach body, and they sort of did their research on me's saw that I had been working with Brooke Burke and writing for her website and doing videos for her, and they called me in for a meeting and basically said, we'd like to buy the product from you, develop it further, input workouts to go with it. And that's how twenty one day six was born. That's an incredibly our. What's that? Like when you get that coal from, you know, beach body was incredible to get the call and it was one of those moments. Remember I was picking my son up from preschool a walking into get him and I got the call, and I just had to like sit on the playground for a split. Second in gather my thoughts of like, wow, this could be the moment. But there had also been so many. This could be the moments in the past that didn't end up being revolted. So it was one of those things sort of compose myself. I was like, okay, if it's meant to be, it's going to be. And you know, I spent the next six weeks in a straight panic hoping that that's what it would be because it was right before the holidays. It was right before Christmas break and the CEO was going out of the country. So I had to wait for him to get back to have my meeting,
