"Well, I spent the first time I've been talking about blue bloods. But not everybody who plays is a blue blood, and that doesn't matter because the point spread Is the greatest equalizer and I want to talk about the six teams have identified. This is before they played the day that I think are not only worth watching their worth betting on and they're from Secondary conferences like, for instance, the Mountain West Conference that has two of them one another Fresno State Bulldogs, now assigned from dramatically improving their recruiting rank. 29 slots from one year to the other. They had 14 players opt, utilize what you call the bluntly pandemic blanket waiver, including a stutter any back Ronnie Rivers, who is one of the nation's top all around players. He's a senior, and you've got they're returning quarterback who started all nine games last year, Jake Horner. And he transferred over from Washington. He's done nothing but improve. He completed 66% of his passes last season. He also gets back eight receivers from last year. Their top three Russians that as I mentioned, eight offensive lineman always starting experience, so Fresno State frankly, has an incredibly high ceiling with respect to what they can do, and all the other defense brings back 10 starters. So they get on a few with Oregon today, and they almost beat Oregon and Fresno State was a 20 a half point. Honor dog. Some people thought maybe Ohio state or check that Oregon was looking at the Ohio State. I don't care if they were. They weren't Fresno State match them on the line of scrimmage played very hard gave great effort. The Ducks pulled away late and a home game. They should. You should win a game that your favorite to win by 21, But if you had Fresno State You cashed a ticket? Another team from the West Conference and by the way that what the moral The story is Until the markets catch up. Keep an eye on Fresno State. They should be a good value all year. Nevada, the Wolfpack. Now there are the returning Mont was champion. They have all 22 starters back an incredibly dynamic offense engineered by the Player of the Year. The offensive player of the year for the Conference, a guy by the name of Carson strong he's thrown for almost 5500 yards in two seasons at Reno, Carson strong Could and should get Heisman vote. She's not going to win it. I get that. But Numbers wise, he'll not not only have maybe the best offensive the mountain West, but I think if Nevada does what they're capable of doing, they have a chance to go to a big time ball game this year, plus their defense. Trending in the right direction, held teams to 23 points a game last year, and they've got You know Nevada's a program Jean Orville has done a great job taking over his head coach. They won at least seven games in three straight seasons. What do they do today? Well, there were three point underdog you Cal at the Pac 12. Nevada won outright 22 to 17. You would have cashed that game as well. How about a team from the Mac? Toledo. They beat north full state 49 to 10. Now they have a coach, veteran coach been there six years and Jason Candle He's got all 22 starters back as well. Includes six players who made all Mac The offense averaged 35 points a game last year. Can they put up 49 today? So they're going to be better? One of the better offensive units in the Mac? They've got their entire offensive line back. Including a stud running back by the name of Bryant Colback, a great wide receiver by the name of Isaiah Winstead and another one named Matt Landers. They've got Great skill players. Offensive line back all 22 starters. The recruiting rankings of the last four years suggest on paper. This is the best team in the Mac. They're solid. The defense will also improve. They'll be near the top in the Mac as well again. They won 49 to 10 today. Keep an eye on Toledo. They're gonna be value all year. So you have covered those three right there. Here's one to be fair. You wouldn't have cover. Georgia State is a team I've got. Bye on Again. There are loaded. Their experience are dangerous. They ran the ball. They were on the ball about 70% of the time, and they ranked 18th nationally last year on the ground there, coach they've got stability there, coach John Elliott. He's been there five years. Georgia State's been to three bowl games in the last four years, and this coach Sean Elliott, he's really Has really built this program and again. They've got everyone back just about including all 11 starters on defense from a team that won a ball game last year, in average, 33 points a game so they have a ton of experienced upper classman. They're going to try to pass the ball more. Maybe that was the problem. They they did lose two army 43 to 10. Nobody can play against that option even Michigan struggle with against last year so Georgia State God be today, but you can bet As you look at them next week and and weeks after you're going to find them in advantageous situations, where You're there's going to be value same situation with North Carolina State. They crushed southern Florida 45, South Florida 45 to nothing again their head coach Steve Doran, He stabilizes program They were down. Two years ago, There were eight mark. They were eight and four last year. The Wolfpack. They won six. They had six winning seasons in the last seven years again a ton of returning, uh, starters on both sides of the ball. The offense from the year before improved eight points per game, and they're going to continue to prove This year, The defense returns 10 starters, the last three recruiting classes have improved and this will be a bowl team again. So if you see the the pattern on these teams here, even though they're under the radar coaches have been with the program for a while. Highly ranked or improved ranked recruiting classes, tons of starters on defense and offense and upperclassman with experience. There's another game you would have covered today. Rice. They're on my list, The Conference USA team Now they lost Arkansas today 35 to 17. But for the first time in years, Rice actually feels like you're not going to be a laughing stock and football head Coach Mike Bloom grin..

Jake Horner Matt Landers Steve Doran Isaiah Winstead Jason Candle Jean Orville Sean Elliott 66% 14 players John Elliott 23 points 35 points Ronnie Rivers Bryant Colback 33 points 21 18th six years 10 starters six teams

"Take a look at some of the articles that were sharing with you with regard to some of the stuff that we're talking about on the program. In addition to that, you can actually watch video of the program as it is in progress. That's right. A little bit of how the sausage is being made. Not a whole lot, but a little 809 239385 809 to 3 Double U. D. T K, for instance, there's a new poll out this new poll. He is based on the impeachment proceedings and seems to indicate that a majority of people it's interesting The numbers kind of strange 56% in this, CBS Flash you Gove poll 56% favorite Trump's conviction in the Senate impeachment trial and the vote today 56 to 44. With regard to those in favor of proceeding with the Senate trial off a private citizen in this case, Donald John Trump survey was conducted February 5th through eight. About 2500 residents took took part in the poll. And they were asked, as you may know. The House of Representatives impeach Donald Trump for inciting violence against the government of the United States, and now the Senate will hold a trial based on what you know so far. What do you think the Senate should do in that trial? Well, we know what some people think The Senate should do in the trial as we found out Republicans aided in that effort today. Help the Democrats get Donald Trump? Yeah, Get Donald Trump. That's the name of the game folks and the the Republicans who participated. There were about 66 of those folks who decided that yet it's time to give Donald Trump A taste of his own medicine. Whatever that medicine, they perceive it to be. They decided to vote with the Democrats in that 56 44 vote to continue the proceedings of a Senate trial against a private citizen. Can you believe it? 809 239385 809 to 3 double u D T K, you can call in and talk with me about what is happening today in your country. As I said before, in my interview with our heritage legal expert Zach Smith I believe we're looking at the weaponization of the impeachment process under the Democrats watch, and we have Republicans were all too willing to participate in it with them. Kids listening to the program in Livonia wants to talk about it can, thanks for calling. Well, just having to say that once again. This is not in an impeachment because he is not the president. Uh, this whole thing is a scam is fraud pretty much to reach out to the uneducated. In the audience as far as the American people that don't know what the Constitution says. Um, uh, I think that's the thing that we need to stress that this whole thing there again is a sham because the Democrats no They can't win by debate. I mean, every country that follows their away a second ends up to be like Venezuela is today the way China is today. The way the former Soviet Union Woz s so they got to try to. Ah, well. Joe Biden. Stole the election from Donald Trump. He stole the election him and his followers. From the American people, the 75 million people that voted for Donald Trump. I always say it's like Joe Biden. He won a lot of But he never bought a text. And that truth is something that we've got to keep reminding people is that Joe Biden is a legitimate Well, I think that's a strong statement can and it is in line with the first guest interview we had on this program when we came back from hiatus yesterday. I don't know if you heard the show, but we had Senator Patrick Cole back. Former Senator Patrick Colback, technically speaking on the program yesterday, talking about the research that he did into the connectivity of voting machines at the TCF Center in Detroit. And how they could have been manipulated. In all the talk about how the vote may have been Elektronik Lee gained. That's the reason we started there on this program. I don't want anyone to forget that Joe Biden could quite possibly be And illegitimate President. I'm not saying that he is definitively onto the degree of certainty that he is. But I'm saying it is quite possible that he could be an illegitimate pretender to the throne as it work can The way I know that Joe Biden with the help of his supporters stall the election, the re away I know that he is illegitimate. And you could bring up these numbers. There is no way sleeping. Joe Biden got more votes than Barack Obama. No way. And, uh, the other thing is, we defeated Hillary Clinton, the Clinton machine. And there again, even that case, there is no way Joe Biden was going to beat. Hillary Clinton. So Yeah, he cheated. Yeah. The Democrat Party cheated. And he is a legitimate president. Well, can I appreciate your taking the time out of your busy schedule to express your point of view on that issue, and if you like in want to do the same, which is saying, Darryl, I'm not quite feeling the telephonic thing you can call Hit the prompt when you are prompted to leave a voice message and share your opinion that way at 809 239385 likewise, and you could go on over to our Facebook page. "Submitted this a subpoena on December 15th. They said, Hey, can you get that data to us from Detroit? Elektronik Election data. Can you get all that electronic data to us? By January 12th close. The meeting. We were just discussing Was Jane is takes place on January 6, right? That's right. January, 12. Thank you guys. So, you know, we made a mistake here. Sorry. The gun. Yeah. No, we don't. This is an emergency. We don't need this matter of fact. Meanwhile, we've been in an emergency here locked down this entire year. Almost in the question of what really constitutes an emergency has been something else that we've been talking about. Not just in this state, but all across the country. All right before I let you go on the sixth. I know folks are going to D. C. You're gonna be in Lansing and state capital. What people do I mean, I'm really because we've talked about this. Quite a bit. I don't want to beat a dead horse. Because I know folks were balance. We're kind of on this line right now. 55% of very conservative folks, and Georges said, they're not voting. I mean, people are either going to be just completely turned like tuning this out and saying, Look, I've heard all this. I'm done. I'm out, you know, or or they're going to step up and say Look, I'm gonna I don't know what the next step is, but I'm just gonna try and do the next right thing here. And what is that for people? Well, People need to realize that we're in a battle for the future of American, frankly with you through the free world. And so if you tuned out and say I'm done, you just lost the battle. There are people that are trying enemy in the media. They're people that are deliberately trying to get that reaction from you. That's a PSYOP campaign. It's psychological operations in the military. Where they actually tried to get rid of the will to fight by the enemy. And that's exactly what they're doing right now, when they say that Joe Biden is the president elect, just deal with it. That's what they're saying. That's why every day I started off in my social media feeds and job is not the president elect. You can't see it. Come to that side up. You can't lose the battle that way. We got to go out there and demonstrate on January 6 that we support the president. We support free and fair elections in America because this is much bigger than the 2020 election. This is not the 2022 election. The 2024 election I'm going. If we don't have faith in our election, we can have faith in our country. God, I know people are saying, like you just want Trump the when you're trying to overturn this thing, But you actually have an interesting record going back to 2016 here in the state of Michigan. Absolutely back when Jill Stein went off and did a cultural recount in Michigan, I for all the people that say, Hey, you would be pushing this election integrity. Thanks. So much of Donald Trump had won well now, unfortunately for them, that's exactly what I did back in 2016. I called on our Michigan attorney general and Secretary of state to do an investigation in the wake of the 2016 election to go off and see what was going on. In particular in the city of Detroit, where they had at least one instance where we we discovered that there were 306 votes on our poll book. But when you actually look in the machine, there's only 50 ballots. Did somebody find about that they like and just run it through a few times. So there's a there's like their games that were being played back then. The investigation revealed 31 counts of voter fraud 34 jurisdictions that did not comply with data request. There was there's already smoked back in 2016.17 timeframe and, regrettably, nothing was done about it. "The Michigan attorney general trying to intimidate people who want to come forward and talk about voter fraud. The Michigan attorney general this week warned people alleging vote fraud that false claims are subject to criminal prosecution will all the people that we have heard from or that the president's team are talking about who have come forward in the state of Michigan to talk about voter fraud or people who have signed? Affidavits and they have signed those affidavits under threat of being punished. Criminally, if they in effect are lying, so I don't think they really need to hear. Perhaps people who haven't come forward yet need to hear it. But I don't think those who signed affidavits already need to hear from the attorney general. What she thinks about them coming forward. Why would anyone come forward with false claims? 809 239385 809 23, w. D. D K. There are enough real, if not questionable irregularities that have taken place in Detroit in particular. If not in other places around this state with regard to Alleged voter fraud so much so that we don't need anybody making anything up. This is coming from and according to constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley, Jonathan Turley is apparently a law professional quote. The invitation is lost in the lingering threat. He says. A professor of law at George Washington University, the Hill reported Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Was responding on Twitter to former state Republican state Senator Patrick Cole back discussing allegations of vote fraud during a Michigan board of Canvassers meeting that ended with state's election results being certified. Colback was asked at the beating whether he had brought his allegations. The state attorney general, the report said. Nestle claim Colback has never made a complaint of election fraud to her office. Nestle tweeted quote Colback A skull backs assertions aside. Intentionally making a false claim of criminal activity to law enforcement is itself a crime and quote And of course, that's correct, Turley noted. Nestle has been threatening people who post videos on alleged vote fraud, quote. These threats are course of and abusive, particularly when targeting opponents of your party who are challenging the victory of your candidate for president and quote. Yet as shown by a congressman seeking to disbar dozens of trump lawyers. Such threats are popular in today's rage filled politics. So Nestle continued her threats of prosecution on Monday in warning that a former state senator could be prosecuted for alleging possible vote fraud at a meeting of the Michigan Board of State canvassers. So raising voting fraud at the board overseeing voting is now a possible basis for prosecution in Michigan and quote 809 239385 again. When you when you go to the, uh Aspect off Testing positive. You are not an active case. Unless you're being treated the vast majority of these latest cases or people from age 12 to 35 who are asymptomatic. They don't even know if these people can even As on the disorder because they haven't yet right. So one in the world that you know they keep talking about, you know, 7000 new cases, There's no new cases. Well, and here's the other thing they're talking about, and perhaps confusing terms, and we've had people try to point this out as well. When you start using words like cases you are actually talking about people who may be or should be identified as sick with a disease a case Is that really what's going on? If a person has been exposed or has been infected by this virus, Because as you've indicated, many of those folks are asymptomatic don't even know they have it. I got into this back in 9 2020 10 8 22,010. I was going to college. And I'm a little long in the tooth now, but, um Back when they started putting the hand sanitizer. So I started studying. Residents with more than 30 million in assets. The threshold for the 300.4% tax would only be 15 million for Mary Couples who file separately this morning. The World Health Organization says that the vaccine approved by Russia this past week, is not among the nine that they considered to be in advanced stages of testing. Let's get to ABC is Tom Rivers. He joins us live with much more Tom talk about the Russian vaccine. What's lacking here, according to W. H o on what is Russia's say about it? Yeah. What's lacking appears to be information eyes. You know, Russia's quickly off the marks with getting this vaccine their vaccine out. To Ah, initially the medical community there but bypassed the phase three tastic testing of tens of thousands, which only other vaccines have to go through a lot of big question marks there. Ah, A lot of question marks is allow about W way, Joe a CZ. We've seen much maligned in the past few months. A cz well, but bottom line is Russia. The vaccine is not amongst the nine Better in the so called Colback's facility, in essence, is the place where developing countries can hedge their bets and say that the UK could say I want to order before the trials were completed. Maybe 50,000 doses from the Oxford researchers, maybe 20 million doses from the Moderna researchers in America Hedging your base bets because one maybe more effective and the other s O. That's where it stands right now. Maybe Russia will be in In the nine to make a pin. But until information is forthcoming, that is not going to be the case. So, Tom when the story broke, Vladimir Putin came out and said, Well, yeah, my daughter took this Is there any indication that there that Russia will be more transparent with this vaccine and let the world take a look at it? Yeah, well, everything there's going to be a also a study a large study year. Guess usage. Really. I don't know this particular vaccine in in Brazil in one region. Of Brazil, So I think a lot of people be watching that one very, very closely on its effectiveness on its safety. The Russian medical community says, too, that this vaccine will be effective for Something like two years now. It's not been around for two years, so we don't know if it's going to be in that range or not. That's just a figure kind of pulled out of the air. How forthcoming are they being with the science behind this vaccine? Well, I guess you know it's a different way of Ah, command and control if you will goes back decades, and it's very different approach to things. But I guess the proof is in the pudding. If they're going to be shooting this into average people up and down the country, it better doing the right thing. I guess that we will find out and they will find out very, very quickly. So, Yeah, I kind of kind of risky if you will, But one thing you have to bear in mind as well of these nine, for instance, leading candidates. If everybody's kind of following the same path, it could all end up in the same If you will dead end, So it's probably a good thing that various countries they're trying different approaches because some are going to be better and more effective than others and sometimes AH, vaccine from left field. Main Kono's in about two or three years. Time may prove to be the best one in the book. All right, Tom. Very good point. Thanks so much. NBC's Tom Rivers live for us this morning. Okay, let's get out to traffic now by nobles.

And once again, the full number if you want to call into the show is 1 893 9385 Once again. That's 1 809 to 39385 Now before the break. We were talking about a couple ways that we can kind of address the governor's overreach and our authority. We've got a recall initiative. That is a people led initiative, and you can find out more information about that at recall. Governor Whitmer dot com And there's also an impeachment push and the impeachment pushes, not a people led initiative. It's a legislator Light initiative, and it starts in the house. And all it takes is one Michigan. State representative to get the ball rolling on that so We can get into some discussions over why Nothing's been done along those lines right now, But I think we can short circuit to the fact that right now they're in the middle of an election season and, ah They see this is high risk. While I see what's going on with our governor right now is pretty high risk right now and ah, and what she's doing Tio R R families, which he's doing to our lives, which is doing too many businesses. Around the state. It's something that needs to be addressed. So Another way of going off in addressing it instead of addressing it specifically with the governor is to address the authority that she's leaning upon to make her state of emergency declarations and That is at 1945 302 Emergency Powers Act. And there's a couple different ways of going off and trying to repeal that act. The Legislature's attempted to pass legislation. Of course, she's vetoed pain, so there's she's not gonna have anything to do with any attempt to Take out the law that she's been leaning on for these executive orders of hers. The Ah, But there is another approach to this. And it's.

"It's a big deal. And normally if I understand things accurately these air 3 to 6 toe one year, six months to one year kind of assignment, so I'll see you in six months we'll buy then our son is going to take his first steps. The first day of kindergarten. Whatever. I might have a baby while you're gone. How do you help families braced themselves for that difficulty? Certainly. Well, there's you know, pre deployment, counseling and post you know where we walk them through the whole family through. You know what that's going to look like? You know, when, when you When you lose a family member, the dynamics and that family changes, you know dramatically. People start. You know the family members fill those gaps when there's Ah, you know, loved one that's away. And so we find even reintegration into the family is challenging for remembers where they come in, and they essentially are trying to have to find their place again and so understanding that there's those tensions within the family as they as they come back from deployment, and it doesn't matter if it's a month, three months a year. It's all tough because of like you said. Mr Go's life goes on. It's It's It is challenging so and sometimes when you get that weekend, or maybe that one week home in between long deployments, I would think that the very rapid fire readjustment Khun B. Jarring to the household as well. Hey, I'm whole well, great. Here's the kid. Here's the stuff. I need some time till the spouse maybe saying back home. So so many different dynamics to the family and all this aren't there. For sure. Yeah, and working through that again, finding their place. Their niche where you know where they can fill those gaps is is important in helping them understand that that's normal. I know right? It's expected that it's going to be a challenge when they come back to the family. But, you know, you know the chapel services, you know, having chapels and where they can come and Be part of and they all are part of that family. Right? So those people who were separated, they have others that have are separated as well. And so there's numbers. Yeah, there's there's that common, you know, challenge. Well, isn't that true on both sides of the equation? Where, if someone really in any walk of life in any way? Spiritually or mental struggle. If you do feel like you're the only one If you're all alone, it's devastating. And it's comforting to know whether it's a narcotics anonymous meeting where you have others around the circle or whether it's a military families gathering where you have others who are also feeling. This isolation and aloneness. The strength of community is a pretty big deal. I would have to think. Oh, certainly, certainly. And you know, Band of brothers, right? Yeah. And you know that's true within the military family, Whether it's whatever branch it's having that common court. This is the mission and we're sacrificing for the mission. We're doing it together. We're not alone thing. This edition of the big impact with Bill Hobson will continue after this brief break. I'm Patrick Colback CEO, the Michigan Armed Forces Hospitality Center.
